Yeah, look, I mean, I think there's a lot of things that, you know, I've said this in the past, things I could have done better, more. I look back at Covid. We just put out a detail over a thousand pages. What we did right and wrong during COVID as it relates to the issues of outdoor and beaches being shut down, schools being shut down for too long. On the issue of housing and homelessness, what we could have done more aggressively sooner. But on social issues where I think you're tend to be leaning towards, you know, I've also, I've made my point of view. No, it relates to issues of sports and transports, which I just think is. It's not being transphobic to me, common sense. But I get how people are sensitive to that because that's been weaponized and People have been talked down to and the community's been abused by those that want to take advantage of this politically.

I don't know if I can start my week like this, guys. All right, Bill's giving him a chance. What Bill is doing, which is nice there, and we're gonna show you another clip or two. But what Bill's doing that's I think, kind of effective, is basically saying, hey, you've run this state into a crazy far left position. If you're running for president, wink, wink. Are you going to moderate, otherwise you're gonna lose people. Gavin, then. Well, they came up with a thousand page report on what they did right and wrong during COVID I wonder, Connor, do you think it's possible that they were writing that thousand page report when he went to French Laundry, basically the most restaurant in California, and he sat there indoors with lobbyists? Those are all lobbyists. He sat there indoors at the height of COVID while we were all locked down and not allowed at restaurants and everything else. I wonder if that's. Were they focusing on the thousand page report that they came up with then? By the way, people have reported that they spent at that meal, it was about $15,000 in wine. I've drank some good wine in my day. Never $15,000 worth at one table. Of course, then he also talks about how he's done such good work with homelessness. We've shown you that video many times from what, 15 years ago when he was then mayor of San Francisco, talking about his huge plan to get rid of homelessness. And quite literally right now, San Francisco is the epicenter of homelessness in the entire country, not just California. So lies, lies, lies. Oh, and then on the transports thing, he's now pretending that he's for the common sense side of this thing, which would be that you wouldn't allow biological boys into girls sports. But he has pushed every version of the woke part of this on everybody forever. So now finally, as he gets closer to running for president, finally, he magically is like, well, I at least won't do that. I'll be for everything else, but I won't be for that. All the environmental work is behind us. We're actually laying the track. All the legal litigation, all the land issues are all behind us. We're actually making this project work. And so that's a fact, Bill, I

say this with all due irony as a friend. Maybe you need better friend choicing skills if he's also one of your friends. Okay, so let's talk about this railway. And you all know about this, but we'll give you some actual number. It was originally supposed to cost 33 to 35 billion dollars. And it was going to take you from Los Angeles to San Francisco. And that would be a worthy. I've done that drive many, many times. That would be a worthy thing to have a train going to and from because you'd get a lot of traffic off the roads. It's nice to have some level of public transportation, et cetera. 33 to 35 billion. The completion target was 2020. What year are we in right now? Quick. 2026, I'm being told. So it was supposed to be done six years ago at 33 to 35 billion. Now the cost is projected to be 231 billion dollars. Okay, that's like eight times the price. And it has only running. It's only been laid and running now through Merced to Bakersfield. I have no problem with either of those fine cities. The first time I ever saw Frankie Valli in concert was in Bakersfield outdoors. It was a lovely. But also the rest of it probably won't be done till 2033, if ever. So this is a complete boondoggle. Of course he's punting it. It has nothing to do with three administrations. And we had to figure out the environmental. It's everything with him. The buck doesn't stop with anybody but the railway itself because we can talk about the homelessness. And you get it. Gas prices are way higher in California and rents are higher and all of those. Everyone knows all that. But there's something about the railway, the inefficiency around this. It's ridiculously expensive to start railway. On top of all the fraud that we're exposing in California and everything else, it's all on him, man. And if you can't accept blame for that, which he can't, and he just motions his way through the whole thing, you don't deserve to be governor and you certainly don't deserve to be president. Here's California representative Vince Fong talking about how Newsom's high speed rail and yes, it is Newsom's high speed rail. It's just the perfect example of everything wrong with Cali politics.

The business plan that was put out in 2008 was very theoretical. You know, this is what we think is going to happen. And it became very clear that they didn't have the specifics.

It worked. Guys, I should be clear in case I wasn't before. The Bakersfield to Merced line, how many miles is that? We checked once before. We'll check on that. It's not very far. The track is laid, but nobody. There's no train on it going back and forth to these two places. Right. And these are fairly random cities. So the fact that that is the thing that Gavin's pointing to. Well, we got Bakersfields or Mercedn, as if a train is running, but there's no train on that. But what Fong is pointing out there is. Everything about it is perfect, Cali. Everything. We're just going to throw some crazy number at something. We'll have a graphic and it'll make people think we can do this. And then we'll start doing it. And where is all of that money? How does something go? Anyone that's watching this? If you've done a House project, we're in the midst finally. We're two weeks away from finally finishing a master bathroom redo right now. And it did go over budget. And it did go over time. And all throughout that, we talked about the process with the contractor and the subcontractors and what they were doing and everything else, but it didn't go eight times over budget and it didn't go six years past completion date. And this thing will be way past completion date because it's not being, you know, it's not being completed in 2026. So the point is, you offshore basically all of your life to these politicians and they'll take your money and they'll abuse you and expect you to say thank you for it. And it wasn't always this way. You guys know about the nine most terrifying words in the English language?

That is correct. What is the government good at? I am not an anarchist. I don't think there should be no government. I believe in property rights. I believe in public funding of police departments and fire department and public roads and things of that nature. So I'm not often. You know, I love talking with Michael Malice. I've had him on the show a million times. But I'm not in that pure anarchist thing. It's also why I keep describing so much of just pure libertarianism as seventh grade stuff. Like, okay, it's fun to think about could we have no government in essence, but we really can't. As long as you believe that there has to be something tying us together and there's 350 million plus people, you gotta have something. But every time in every place that the government keeps coming in and doing things, it gets worse. You could contrast that with a place like Florida where we're getting, I think Post Covid, it's 2.3 million since COVID started. Not post Covid since COVID started. 2.3 million new people. And you know about all the billionaires coming down here and all the money and infrastructure. And then what is desantis and the rest of Florida doing? It's cutting away regulation, it's lowering taxes, it's creating the conditions for people to have some skin in the game. By the way, the road or the railway from Bakersfield to Merced, which has no train on it and is way over budget and everything else. It's 165 miles. I'm pretty sure we could have done that. You know what, what are you guys doing in August? What if, as a team building exercise, we all go off the grid in August? And we will, as a favor to the people of Cal, No. Conor's like, I'm going to Japan, man.

there's something wrong with Gavin Newsom, and it's not just that. He is obviously a liar and he's a slick politician and he pretends he was poor when he was super rich when he was growing up. I feel strange. It's interesting. I've been on a journey like most people, feeling great, feeling stressed, feeling doubtful. The last two days. I don't know what it is. I think it's maybe the dust settling after Madison Square Garden, seeing how that went, kind of a roller coaster. But something's happened the last few days, and I'm telling you, that Des Moines Register poll, I mean, I don't know, I don't expect Iowa necessarily going in the blue column, but it says something to me that is of outsized importance potentially, in terms of the outcome of this race. So I'm feeling honestly, much better than I was even 24 hours ago. The last few days.

Guys, there is something deeply wrong with that man. Everything about him and everything around him is fake, fraudulent, evil. Everything he touches. You get it? And yet he still. And this is where, Bill, I'll needle you a little bit. You can have him on your show and you did a fine job. You know, let him, you know, expose him a little bit. But you're his friend, and you'd vote for him again as LA turns into a crap hole, as your friends move out and everything else. And we know what happened to San Francisco and the road that goes nowhere. And it's because of three administrations ago. It's just endless. Everything that he represents is the reverse of what we need in some sense. You know, it's so interesting because he wants to be Trump, right? He's trying to tweet a little more trolly, and he's trying. Trying to use language. He wants to be Trump. But the thing is, with Trump, whether you like it or not, it's authentic when it comes out. Spirit Airlines, an impish upstart that shook the industry with its irreverent ads and deep discounted fares, announced Saturday that it has gone out of business after 34 years. The Ultra low cost airline that once operated hundreds of daily flights in its bright yellow planes and employed about 17,000 people, said it had started an orderly wind down of our operations effective immediately. Although Spirit had gone bankrupt twice before, the company said high oil prices which have been rising because of the war with Iran, made it impossible to stay aloft. The airline said on its website that all flights have been canceled and customer service is no longer available. Some passengers arrived Saturday for flights and were stunned to find they were canceled while workers learned overnight they were out of jobs. Here's a bit more from Chanley Painter on Fox about what happened here, and then we'll show you something connected to government mistakes management.

You're looking at a very empty Spirit check in area at Charlotte Douglas International Airport after Spirit Airlines ceased operations overnight after bailout talks with the White House broke down. Chanley Painter has the details now.

Chanley, hey, good morning. So earlier, the company announced it's going out of business, ending its operations immediately, telling passengers not to even go to the airport. That's why it's so empty there. They said this quote to our guest. All flights have been canceled and customer service is no longer available. Despite the company's efforts, the recent material increase in oil prices and other pressures on the business have significantly impacted Spirit's financial outlook. With no additional funding available to the company, Spirit had no choice but to begin this wind down.

Okay, so oil prices and other material pressures. So I'll give the devil his due here. Obviously, we've been in the midst of a war with Iran and oil prices have gone up. They are coming down. But if you're running an airline that's, that's a discount airline and your profit margins aren't huge and you see the price of oil go up, could hurt you. Now, I don't know about the other material costs and I don't know how the company was really being run and everything else, but you can acknowledge that oil prices are high. It's hurting this airline. By the way, some of you who I'm sure have never flown, I honestly don't think I ever. Have you guys flown Spirit? I don't think I ever. I don't think I ever have. I've done Southwest, I've done Frontier, I've done some of the cheaper ones. For whatever reason, I don't think I ever got on a Spirit flight. However, having a low cost carrier is important economically. It's important because when you have a low cost carrier, right? So the price is, let's say, to go anywhere. So you're in Miami and you're going to fly to Tucson, Arizona, and you could do it for, let's say, 250 bucks on spirit. Well, then American Airlines looks at that and they're like, wow, we can't charge 550 anymore, we're going to have to lower it. This is basic economics. You want more competition in the system. So losing Spirit, even if you've never flown Spirit and you don't care, we are now going to have less competition, thus prices will go up. I'll connect that to some of the Democrat policies in just a second. But here's a bit more on what the actual shutdown of Spirit will do

immediately could impact hundreds of thousands of travelers and reportedly some 17,000 employees through the month of May. For example, some 9,000 flights and 60,000 potential passengers are now impacted. Plus, the airline would have had 1.8 million seats to sell and would have had some 300 flights per day.

Okay, so 300 flights per day. You saw the amount of seats, the employees. So a lot of things are going to change. And now there will be less airlines, less competition, and prices are going to go up. So now I want to connect this to Democrat policies because this is super interesting. You may remember three years ago I came. I honestly can't remember if we covered it or not at the time, but Spirit has sort of been in trouble for quite some time. Right? And you know, airlines merge with each other and they rebrand and all these things. Well, in 2023, Spirit was struggling and there was going to be a merger with JetBlue. By the way, JetBlue, I love JetBlue. If you were asking me what's the best airline in America, I find JetBlue. Their planes are the nicest. Their staff is great. Like, the TVs are good. I like JetBlue General, and I'm a Northeast.

We're going to show you several Democrats stopping that merger and then realize that three years later, now Spirit is gone and prices will go up. Here is Pete Buttigieg bragging about how he got involved to stop that merger.

It is so important to make sure that passengers have choices, that they have access to low fares, that they have access to competition. And yet we've seen less and less and less of that competition over the years. So do you get what Pete just did right there? When he was Transportation Secretary, and remember, he had no qualifications to be Transportation Secretary. His job before that was mayor of South Bend, Indiana, a very small town in Indiana. So they said, okay, they cut the deal with him when everybody. Remember when everybody right before Super Tuesday dropped out so that they could push Biden through and everything else. And they were like, all right, Pete, well, you're out. We're going to give you this job. So they made someone who had no qualifications be Transportation secretary. Then he helped block a merger. And it's interesting, he wanted. He said it's so important to have choices. So that's why he blocked the merger. He didn't want JetBlue and Spirit to join forces. Now, they would have had tons of flights and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Well, now, thank you for blocking that, because Spirit is gone altogether. So the government got involved. It stopped capitalism. It stopped two companies from working together and merging. And then what do you get? Well, now one of those companies is completely gone. But of course, it's not just Pete Buttigieg. It's also the fake Indian, Elizabeth Warren. Here she is in 2023. She was very excited. I've warned for months that a JetBlue Spirit Airlines merger would have led to fewer flights and higher fares. The DOJ antitrust Division and U.S. department of Transportation were right to stand up for consumers and fight against runaway airline consolidation. This is a Biden win for Flyers. Well, congratulations everybody. You got what you guys wanted to do. You are pencil pushing middle management morons who have never created anything except a lot of wealth for yourselves. Companies wanted to join forces, right? We would still have some of those flights. We would probably have more competition because you'd have a stronger, let's say at that point JetBlue and Air Spirit, they had merged. Let's say they would be a little more on the discount side of things as a stronger airline. That would be a buttress against say American and Delta and everything else. But congratulations, you did it. Spirit is now gone. I thought this was quite insightful From Geiger Capital. Elizabeth Warren was key in blocking the JetBlue Spirit merger to protect consumers. The result, spirit liquidates after 34 years. 16,000 employees just lost their jobs and bigger airlines can now raise their prices even more. Always wrong, never in doubt. And of course, well, now here's Elizabeth Warren after this has happened and look what she put up. I mean, this is just extraordinary. This is from five days ago, basically. A couple days ago. The big four airlines, American, Delta, Southwest and United, control 75% of the US market. Fewer choices equal higher prices for you, lady. It's your fault. You did it with the mayor of South Bend, Indiana. You stopped the lower level guys from becoming an official, effective business. And now congratulations. Of course you won't have to worry about it because as we often point out, she's worth about $20 million while she sells socialism on the rest of us. Interestingly, she put that tweet up and community notes, they got her. In 2024, Senator Warren supported the Biden administration's DOJ, suing to prevent the merger between JetBlue and Spirit, fearing fewer fights and higher fares. Now Spirit shut down, resulting in fewer fights and less competition. Do we have anything from Ronald Reagan about this sort of thing?

So Pete's never run an airline. Elizabeth has never run an airline. She did pretend to be an Indian so she could get a teaching job at Harvard. That's about it. And then made an awful lot of money. And then they break. They break the things that other people bill. Here's Griff Jenkins on how the merger could have actually saved Spirit and we wouldn't be in this situation right now.

Let's take a look back at that merger with JetBlue that could have saved Spirit Airlines. You go back to the merger. The merger itself was a Billion per year in consumer savings, 10,000 new direct jobs by 2026, and 1,000 daily flights to 145 plus destinations. Remember, Spirit along with JetBlue are the low cost airlines, not the big ones like American, United, Southwest and Delta. So you look back in the history. So in 2023, Biden administration sued to block that nearly $4 billion merger. 2024, the federal judge blocked it. The Biden administration brought that lawsuit. It caused Spirit not once but twice to file for bankruptcy in 2024, in 2025. Then of course, what we saw play out yesterday. 277 flights canceled, boom, drop. 17,000 jobs, 17,000 workers.

So you get it. There was a chance for the lower cost airlines to merge forces, become a stronger entity. He just laid out all the numbers there. The government got involved and said, we're not going to allow that because we want competition. And then what has happened? Well, one of them just went out. And now JetBlue will be under more pressure as the, let's say, slightly cheaper airline. And the other guys are basic. But JetBlue only has a limited amount of flights across the country. Right? It's not a huge airline like American or Delta and we will all get screwed. Now all of that being said, as I said, I've never flown on Spirit, but there were a lot of videos over the weekend going, you know, Spirit wasn't the best. They weren't the best of the best. Here's a small sampling of some of the things that have happened related to Spirit Airlines over the last couple years. Yes, you are. Geez, I really missed a lot over there. Can you imagine? Does the system set that up? Is that gonna get everybody bogged down with healthcare? Does that. If you, once you nationalize something, we're gonna have less competition. Will that be good? I think we just did a story on the airlines that illustrated that that's not good. But this is what happens. You take over the education system and decades go by where people in public schools are taught all of the wrong things. They're taught that capitalism is bad and that America is bad and competition is bad. They're taught that socialism is good. And then you have a bunch of people applauding in the background, right? As an Islamist socialist is like, I'll nationalize health care. And everyone's like, health care for all. I don't have to think about it. He said, it's for everybody, it must be good. And then of course, the ICE thing. So he's gonna get rid of ice? Well, I have no doubt he wants to get rid of ice, cuz he's probably friendly with a lot of the people that have come in illegally and are up to no good. Right? Like, there's probably not much of a question about that. And I would say that for Rashida Tlaib and a bunch of the other ones, but what do you mean, get rid of ice? Abolish ice. ICE is just here to take illegals out of the country. And if they wanted to turn it up a little bit, they'd take people like you out of the country, too. But, okay, here we are. One thing at a time. ICE is getting illegals out. So this whole thing about abolish ice, they're telling you we need the people who are here to make sure that citizens are American. We need to destroy that thing. And the only reason it would make sense to destroy that thing is if you were trying to flood the system with illegals for your own purposes. And then of course, as you know, as Elon has pointed out many times, then you would give them a whole bunch of stuff which is exactly what the Democrat plans are. You give them subsidized housing, you give them free, all these free things, and they would vote for you in perpetuity. I'll get off the black pill thing. It's not my general disposition, but like, I don't know how, I genuinely don't know how we get out of this. I think we're going to have just pockets of sanity in America in the future and blue cities that are run by absolute lunatics. And if you go to there, you will be shot and, or raped. Here's a little bit more. Hasan Piker with Pennsylvania Representative Chris Raab. And they are laying out, I mean, I literally wrote about, I wrote about this and don't burn this book. They are now admitting that they used the liberals. They used. The Democrat Party was just a vessel that they could use because Democrats and libs think everything should be nice and we love everybody and we won't judge anybody. So the progressives used it to usher in the their insanity. They fully are admitting it now.

But you're trying to trick these. So you, Hasan, are you up there saying you love these people, you don't give a crap about these people. You're on an endless quest for power and to destroy America. That's what you're doing, right? But the fact that this Rob guy then gets up there and he admits it, I'm running. I'm a Democratic socialist, which again, they're gonna. I'm impressed that he's even saying Democrat at this point. Cuz they have dropped that and mostly are just saying socialist to communist at this point. While liberalism aims to produce hard work and pride around a common cause, our new negative worldview spawns only jealousy and grievance. The entire thing is fraudulent and it is everything that America was Founded to be against. And now because of the tolerance of liberalism, we are letting it infect our system. And I hate to tell you guys, man, I don't like doing the black pill thing, but I hate to tell you, a certain amount of the country is deeply infected with this. And there probably is no real way out. Of course, at the end of the day, they are just frauds. And I guess the way out is through mockery and just humor. And look at this, look at this. Now, I also want to point out that anytime you have somebody that's on the right that suddenly turns against Trump, what happens? They get on cnn, Marjorie Taylor Greene or they get on the View, Liz Cheney, or they get a glowing piece in the New York Times. And that's what I think the New York Times was trying to do here. But Tucker really stepped in it. If you are on the right and you turn against Trump, the very people that hated you the day before, who you hated the day before, will suddenly love you. And Tucker is now experiencing that. Anyway, he did this interview with a woman by the name of Lulu Garcia Navarro, and he, it was incredible what was going on. I try not to tweet that much over the weekend, but I was watching some of these clips. He lied so many times. He was caught in so many lies. He was so duplicitous. And everything about him, his affect is fake. I don't know what's going on there. Everyone, everywhere I go, even playing basketball. Yesterday morning I went to this new court and somebody asked me, dave, what's going on with Tucker? And it's like, I don't know. I don't know if his mind is muddled because of nicotine. I think he is down some weird anti Semitic rabbit hole. And I don't really do that sort of thing that often call people anti Semites. I think he actually now does have Trump derangement syndrome. I think he is lost without the barriers that Fox News once gave him. Some basic bumper. If it was bumper bowling, he had some things that were keeping him somewhat. There's so much there. But now I'm going to illustrate. There's just so much here and I don't know what to make of this guy anymore. Well, I kind of do, but I'll let you decide. But the reason I'm showing you a couple of these clips now is to show you that if you have friends that are watching this, like I'm not calling for Tucker to be canceled. He can be on YouTube and he can be on Spotify and everywhere else. But if you have friends that are watching this guy, he is now the number one propagandist, again, quote unquote, on the right. Cuz I don't even know what his political beliefs are anymore. But what he is trying to do is destroy Trump and the Republicans before the midterms and congratulations, you will usher in these wacky leftists, which is actually what I think he wants. Here he is, he gets called out, out because he said, he said that he wanted the. That he believes the future will be a violent, revolutionary one. He denies it. And then of course, well, you'll see the other video.

The Tuckers are trying to take that out. And when we take that out, it will give us exactly what I think Tucker wants, which is he would prefer that a place like Baltimore be run under Sharia law than Democrat rule. And ironically, in some sense there could be some reasons for it. Except that's, that's, it's a false binary. Right. We could also have a place that's run by Republicans that's safe and clean and everything else. Also, when he says he's going, he goes around this country and he never sees places flourishing. Yeah. Okay, Tucker, I mean everyone knows where you live in Florida, like it's pretty flourishing. And you can come over to here in Miami and see what's going on.
