And for those of you of a certain age, you may remember the tagline of cnn. I don't know that they use it anymore or if they do, it's with the ultimate tinge of irony. But it used to be cnn, the most trusted name in news. And unfortunately over the years CNN has probably become the most untrusted name in news. It's not as obviously insane like the televised mental institute known as MSNBC or some of the other outlets that we make fun of all the time. But in some ways the reason that CNN is now a punchline, like when I do events and I'm on stage and I just mentioned cnn, people start laughing is because we thought it was supposed to be the decent one, it was supposed to be the chosen one, right? And it just decided to go all in on the partisan nonsense and every single lie and hoax and everything else. Well, yesterday and I referenced this quickly on the show yesterday, but yesterday it was announced that Jake Tapper is the co author of a new book about Joe Biden's mental decline. And apparently he started writing this book after the election, which of course was the beginning of November. And this book is coming out in May. And I know a little something about publishing and that timeline is way, way, way too short. So this has been planned for quite some time. But of course, the piece of it that really is, let's say, the height of hypocrisy or nonsense is that CNN and Jake himself have been or were lying about Biden's mental health on top of all the other lies for years and years and years. We're going to connect that to Jeff Bezos who is apparently turning around Washington Post, and it'll be up to you guys to decide if you want to believe that turnaround. We're bringing back Corinne Jean Pierre. She gave a talk and she doesn't watch the news anymore. I'm not sure she was watching it when she had the gig. She doesn't watch it anymore. I was doing videos as early as 2018. That's the furthest back we could go where we would find it. But we definitely had a whole bunch in 2019. But in 2018, I videos about Joe Biden's obvious cognitive decline. The stammering, the confusion, forgetting words, the wandering off into the forest, all of those things. Am I a clairvoyant? Was I sent here by aliens from the future? No. I have a brain, just like you have a brain. And for years and years and years, we all saw this. People knew it. It was a joke. It was a joke amongst the. The awake, not woke people. But Jake Tapper went out of his way for years to hide it. CNN went out of his way. Think how insane it is. They're right. June 27th, this not even a year ago, right? That's what about eight months ago was that debate. Everyone knew leading into that debate what a disaster it was going to be. And then when Joe Biden stood there and froze and all of the stuff, and Trump did a great job of just kind of letting him stammer and breakdown and all of that, suddenly the media couldn't hide it anymore. But Jake Tapper, really, the day after the election, you suddenly decided to write a book and you're talking to all of these people. Well, interesting. If all these people knew about it, that kind of sounds like a conspiracy theory, right? That's. Or a grand conspiracy around what was going on with the President of the United States, that a whole bunch of staffers and people who work for the government all knew that the President was mentally compromised and hit it. And media people hit it too. It sounds like some people probably should end up in. Seems to me we'll have to see about that. Anyway, here's Jake Tapper about a year ago, going after Lara Trump for mocking Joe Biden.

How do you think it makes little kids with stutters feel when they see you make a comment like that? First and foremost, I had no idea that Joe Biden ever suffered from a stutter. I think what we see on stage with Joe Biden, Jake, is very clearly a cognitive decline. That's what I'm referring to. It makes me uncomfortable. You are. No, it's so amazing to me that I can try and figure out an answer. A cognitive decline. You're trying to tell me that what I was suggesting was I think you were mocking his stutter. I think you were mocking his stutter. And I think you have absolutely no standing to diagnose somebody's cognitive decline. I would think that somebody in the Trump family would be more sensitive to people who do not have medical licenses. Diagnosing politicians from afar. Plenty of people have diagnosed your father from afar and I'm sure it offends you, your father in law from afar. I'm sure it defends you. You don't have any standing to say what I'm saying. James, you just talked about a cognitive decline that Joe Biden. I have one last question for you, Laura. Times on stage and it's very concerning to a lot of people that this could be the leader of the free world. That is all I'm saying. I genuinely am sorry for Joe, Kenneth. I appreciate it. I'm sure.

And that man right there, that quote unquote journalist, who is no journalist, who is just a Democrat operative slash activist, he is now quote unquote writing a book about Joe Biden's mental decline. First off, I pay a bit of attention to politics over the years. I've been paying attention for a while until Joe Biden started breaking down mentally, no one ever talked about him having a stutter. That is a fact. It never, ever, ever came up. I am not denying that maybe he had a stutter 30, 40 years ago, but we all know damn well what we watched for the last five years had nothing to do with a stutter. And by the way, as they've been hiding Biden and what did I say when he stepped out of the Oval Office? I said we were going to see him like two or three more times. That's. I'm sticking to that bet. And then one of these days they're just going to issue a statement, tell you what happened to him and then, and then that'll be it. But the self righteousness of Tapper, like as if Laura is making fun of people with stutters. You know, I was at a fundraiser about three weeks ago that Laura and Eric Trump put together because they donate millions of dollars, but it's not just the money that they donate. It's the time and everything else and their network of people to St. Jude's Medical Hospital so that kids with cancer can get free treatment. That is the true passion of Laura's life. Actually, when I had her here in studio, I wish we would have spent a little more time talking about that rather than just politics. But the idea that somehow, like she's diminishing or dismissing someone's medical condition is absurd. We all knew it. And Jake Tapper, you ran freaking cover for it. Ian Haworth, who's been on the show, he had a good Tweet on this. 2020, Joe Biden has a stutter. 2021, Joe Biden has a stutter. 2022, Joe Biden has a stutter. 2023, Joe Biden has a stutter. 2024, Joe Biden has a stutter. 2025, buy my book on the COVID up of Biden's mental decline. Yeah, like that, that is it right there. And the thing is, you know, I said at the top of the show, the reason CNN is the punchline in and of itself is because we knew, okay, MSNBC leans to the left, right? Fox leans to the right. Those are obvious. No one's hiding any of that. CNN was supposed to be the most trusted name in news. They were the first one in on the cable news game. They, they, it seemed, at least for a while. And who knows, as years go by, I think we just see more and more of the nonsense. But, but for many years in the 80s and 90s, CNN, 9 CNN was the trusted place, right? So that's why everyone makes fun of it so much, because it was supposed to be the trusted one, right? It was the chosen one. But they have, they have pushed every lie, the Biden lie, and then covering up for whatever Kamala and Schumer and Nancy Pelosi did to push him out and all of that. Like, we'll find out more about that too, and I guess Jake will write a book about that. But they have been wrong and, or lied about virtually everything. Do we, I think, think we have some video of Jake lying about some other stuff. You guys talked about the Russia hoax nonstop.

And so you took the words of unnamed FBI agents and put them on.

Your network as if they were the gospel truth. You did it again and again.

Believed that Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin conspired in 2016. Now that was totally and preposterously false. Now well, that's what you just said is false. President Trump has gone to, quote, extraordinary lengths to keep specifics about his meetings with Russian President Vladimir Putin secret, even keeping them from top members of his own administration. Take a listen to how President Trump responded Saturday night when asked directly if he has ever worked for Russia.

I think it's the most insulting thing I've ever been asked. I think it's the most insulting article I've ever had written.

The president did not directly answer the question. It's a stunning turn of events. Do you think the President of the United States ever worked on behalf of the Russians against American interests?

All right, so the President never did. J.D. is absolutely right. They would put all of these crazy chyrons up of Russia collusion. Everything else, by the way, we had an impeachment or two having a little something to do with Russia collusion. And here's more from Jake on just that. Yeah. Getting everything wrong.

What I suspect we are seeing here is an attempt to discredit legitimate, responsible attempts to report on this incoming administration with irresponsible journalism that hurts us all. And the media going forward should keep that in mind. So that's one. Just to get that out of the way. Referring specifically to Buzz. Yeah. It's irresponsible to put uncorroborated information on the Internet. I can understand why presidents like Trump would be upset about that. I would be upset about it, too. It's why we did not publish it and why we did not detail any specifics from it because it was uncorroborated, and that's not what we do. And today, President Trump sided with Russia over not just the intelligence agencies of the United States, but also the people of the United States. He took a KGB officer, a known liar's word for it. Why he did so if it had to do with his desire to not be seen as illegitimate because of the fact that Russia interfered. I don't know. I can't really get into that. I'm not a doctor. Regardless, the report is now here. It has dropped, and it might not have produced everything of what some Republicans hoped for. It is, regardless, devastating to the FBI, and to a degree, it does exonerate Donald Trump.

It's really incredible. And that's why I love showing you these things over the years. I love showing you the receipts over the years. Jake said years ago, because of the fact that Russia interfered with the election. And there he is at the end saying, oh, no. Complete exoneration. Like Jake, you are part of the problem. You might actually be the biggest problem at cnn because like CNN was sort of the chosen one. They were supposed to be the honest one. You were kind of supposed to be the honest guy over there. That's what most people are like, ah, Jake Tapper is not a complete fucking idiot. But I think we've actually unmasked it and turns out that you are now, interestingly, as we're going through this cultural change and as we're going through this informational change on how people get their news and everything else, people at important places are realizing that they can't be us, us anymore. Jeff Bezos, you might have heard about this guy. I think he's the second richest guy in the world. He owns that Amazon thing you might be on there. And he was also owner of the Washington Post. Check out what he put on Twitter yesterday. I shared this note with the Washington Post team this morning. I'm writing to let you know about a change coming on our opinion pages. We are going to be writing every day in support and defense of two pillars. Personal liberties and free markets will cover other topics too, of course, but viewpoints opposing those pillars will be left to be published by others. There was a time when a newspaper, especially one that was a local monopoly, might have seen it as a service to bring to the reader's doorstep every morning a broad based opinion section that sought to cover all views. Today the Internet does that job. I am of America and for America and proud to be so. Our country did not get here by being typical. And a big part of America's success has been freedom in the economic realm and everywhere else. Freedom is ethical, it minimizes coercion and practical, it drives creativity, innovation, invention and prosperity. I offered David Shipley, whom I greatly admire, the opportunity to lead this new chapter. I suggested to him that if the answer wasn't hell yes, then it had to be no. After careful consideration, David decided to step away. This is a significant shift. It won't be easy and it will require a hundred. I respect his decision. We'll be searching for a new opinion editor to own this new direction. I am confident that free markets and personal liberties are right for America. I also believe these viewpoints are underserved in the current market of ideas and news opinion. I'm excited for us together to fill that void. Jeff okay, now there's so much to talk about here because first off, Washington Post has ushered in just like New York Times and CNN and the rest of them, they have pushed all of this woke nonsense on us. They have been a partner with the Democrat Party on all of these things. They push the hell out of the Russia hoax. They went out of their way to deny Biden's cognitive decline. So, Jeff Bezos, is it nice? Is it always nice when somebody starts doing the right thing? To some extent it is right. It is. On the other hand, if you don't apologize for what you've done, if you don't have a true mea culpa, if you're doing it just for opportunistic reasons, which is he sees the way the worm has turned, he sees the tea leaves changing, and he's like, oh, we better get on board. I don't know capitalism and free market economics and personal liberty, you know, the things America was founded on. We better get on board that. Because we were all in on the other shit and the American people just rejected it. So he is getting there. I would say it's very similar. My feelings basically would be exactly as they are when I've talked about Mark Zuckerberg. Is it nice to see Mark Zuckerberg coming around and talking about how he's going to let Facebook, you know, share more opinions and it won't be so politically biased to the left and it won't be so woke and you'll be able to say that there are differences between boys and girls and all those things. Of course, of course. That's great. But, dude, do you acknowledge that you had a huge part in all of the horrible stuff? And would you also acknowledge that maybe you're doing it for your own self interest? Like, you never really get that part. But it's important that I think those of us who see these things just address it. Of course, there are a couple people that still don't get it and really, really don't get it, and they're just going with all of that other stuff. One of them is noted lesbian Mark Cuban, who is the former owner of the Dallas Mavericks. And a couple other things, Shark Tank, et cetera, et cetera. Here he is going off on some of the other big tech people who are now helping Trump, I don't know, clean out the government, make America great again, that sort of thing. And so why are all these quote unquote oligarchs, and I hate that term, but why? Because of artificial intelligence. And so if it means they have to, you know, the only thing I was surprised is, you know, that Donald didn't hand them, you know, personalized knee pads that said, you know, Zuck meta, you know, Bezos, Amazon, you know, because they had no choice. They had to be there because, you know, you get on the wrong side of them and you don't want, you know, a true social post saying, you know, we're not giving them access to A, B or C. So to answer your question, it's not changing business, but when you're trying to win a zero sum game, a global zero sum game, right. You have to be there. This guy is such a piece of work. I love that Mark Cuban is sitting behind a sign that says principles first. Mark Cuban, who's all about die. Die. Yes, that's right. D, E, I, whichever way you want to call it. He's all about that nonsense. Somehow when he was owner of the Dallas Mavericks, he never put a small female midget on the team, which you'd think if you cared about that stuff, you'd put. But he always wanted tall black guys. Very weird. I don't know what the deal is with that. But that somehow he's principled, Right? He's the principled billionaire because he's going against Trump and everyone that's with Trump obviously is a sellout and all of those things. I just criticized some of these guys who've come around onto the Trump side, right? So I just criticized Zuckerberg because I don't know how authentic it is. I just criticized Bezos because I don't know how authentic it is. But the idea that they're there only for their purposes and not because, oh, maybe they really did realize to some extent. Again, we'd like the apology or we'd like something a little more forthcoming out of them, but maybe they really did realize how awful the ideas of the Democrats are and wokeism and socialism and all those things. So suddenly Bezos is like, we better defend individual liberty. That's pretty good. Maybe you should try doing that. Cuban. But from one lesbian to another, we'll go from Mark Cuban to Coring Jean Pierre. She's back, baby. But first, Lean. Are you stuck in the yo yo dieting cycle? You lose weight, gain it all back, plus a few extra pounds, then do it all over again. It's not just frustrating, it's dangerous. It's all over for the Biden people and everything else. And now she just checked out altogether and she doesn't care about it anymore. But why isn't she watching the news? I think the reason she's really not watching the news is not because she's burned out or anything else. I think it's because the news is good right now. There is so much good news happening and it's in spite of. Of those people. It's because we're doing a 180 on everything that a man with dementia and a woman who was hired because of her skin color and sexuality were pushing on us. Example. Okay, so tomorrow is today. So it sounds like we're getting some redacted version of these files. What the hell was Jeffrey Epstein? What. What kind of intelligence operation was this? Who was he working with? Was it our government? Was it foreign governments? Who were the people that were going there like why is there this long list that seemingly includes Bill Gates and Bill Clinton and a whole bunch of other Hollywood people? People are saying Tom Hanks and all the others. I don't even want to speculate on all that, but there is a reason. I saw a whole bunch of, like, Trump people over the last couple days very pissed that this thing wasn't released the second Trump came in. And Pam Bondi just explained it right there. You have to redact the names of the victims. Also, my guest, my guess is they probably have to, having done some research, they probably have to redact some of the names of some of the people that have been on there. Because just because you went there doesn't mean you did anything. A honeypot is a com is a very, very complex arrangement where they're trying to get people either on video or on audio or whatever. It's seemingly having sex with underage girls for the most part or whatever, but doesn't mean that everyone that went there did it. There could be all sorts of people caught up in this. So I can't speak to any of it more than you can because we don't know yet. But we're going to get some information here and it's probably not going to look good for people on both sides of the aisle, although it does seem largely it's going to be more people on the left like they were part of the machine, let's put it that way. Anyway, speaking of the machine, the other thing. So we'll leave that there, obviously, we'll be talking plenty more about that over the coming weeks and everything else. The other part of the machine that's being unmasked right now is that there's literally hundreds of thousands, if not millions of people. There's about 2 million federal workers. There might be. There could be 500 to a million federal workers that are basically doing nothing. Elon sent out the email. We've covered it repeatedly this week, basically saying, hey, could you guys just drop us a line, you know, let us know if you're responding to your emails. Couple bullet points on what you did this week. And he's getting just an insane amount of pushback for this. Let's try it again. I've done it twice this week. I'm going to do it again in a different order. I did it the other way. Name one thing you did this week. Phoenix wrote the show. Wrote the show. That's right. He writes the rundowns. Well, to be clear, like the. I think that email perhaps was best interpreted as a performance review, but actually it was a pulse check review. Do you have a pulse? Do you have a pulse? And two neurons. So if you have a pulse and two neurons, you can reply to an email. This is, you know, I think not a high bar is what I'm saying. This is, should be. Anyone could accomplish this. But what we are trying to get to the bottom of is we think there are a number of people other the government payroll who are dead, which is probably why they can't respond. And some people who are not real people, like, they're literally fictional individuals that are collecting paychecks. Well, somebody's collecting paychecks on a fictional individual. So we're just literally trying to figure out, are these people real, are they alive? And can they write an email, which I think is a reasonable expectation for the American public would have at least that expectation.

It's worth reiterating, guys. And again, here's a guy that's not being paid by the government that's doing this on his own dime based basically setting aside all of his other businesses at the moment to do this. And he's asking for the lowest, lowest of barometers you could possibly offer up, right? What would be the lowest bar you could ask someone about what they do for a living? It would be, what do you do for a living? That's it, right? And the fact that so many people are upset about this and they're finding out that dead people are being paid by the US government, that people who may be completely fictitious altogether on top of just the general amount of people who don't show up to work, who, who don't know what they're doing, who are happy to take that paycheck and everything else, and yet for some reason, asking government workers what they do for a living has caused the machine, the system to absolutely freak out. You guys know Scott Jennings over on cnn? It's really. This guy is something else. He's just, he strikes me he's not like the most incredible TV presenter or commentator in terms of entertainment value or anything else. He's just a guy who's kind of like a decent guy who's not a moron. And when you put a decent guy who's not a moron over on cnn, he starts looking like an A list all star. Here's Scott Jennings on CNN with a former DNC spokesperson and she you can see they get into it over the size of government and what's going on here. Watch this. What the Democrats should be doing is they should be, they should have ads in all of these battleground states and states that are critical in the midterm elections with the chainsaw showing how many jobs have been cut. And these are real people actually agree. I think Democrats should run their midterm on being the party of bigger government. Republicans should run a party of smaller government. And I think these ads would be quite. There are two things. There are two. What, what you forget is that when Trump was welcome to the show. By the way, when Trump was president last time, that is what you said. Lady with the fake smile. Yeah. You want to tell people how many jobs he cut. Okay. Scott's right. By every poll, by every estimation, Americans are all about this thing. We are realizing that we the people have been funding potentially dead or otherwise not very good at their job type people and we've just had enough about it. But what the demo. So run on that. I really think the Democrats should run on that. I agree with Scott. Run on that. We want more dead people being paid by the US Government. We want giant bloat. We don't want to uncover waste. It's about legacy admissions. You don't, you know, have to be excellent. You have to be average if you're white. If you are black, you must your average must be excellent in order to compete. I don't I don't Want to rely on the benevolence of a Donald Trump who the Justice Department found wouldn't let black people live in his buildings. I don't want to rely upon the benevolence of an Elon Musk who grew up in apartheid South Africa. I don't want to rely on that. I want the opportunity, simply the opportunity to compete. Just the opportunity to compete. And that's what diversity, equity, and inclusion programs are.

No, that's not what it is. First off, lady, you have your job because you're black. They would never give a white woman a chance to sit in that chair every day and say all that stupid shit because they've already got Joy Behar doing it. Let's say that there was a time in America that people were hired because they were white or that a certain type of person, say a black person or a Latino or something, was discriminated against because of their skin color. Let's, let's grant you that to some extent because some of that is true to some extent, right? With the solution to that problem to solve past discrimination, do you think it makes sense that your solution would be present day discrimination? Your answer to that, Sunny Hostin, is yes. You think because there was actual discrimination or perceived discrimination years ago, that we should solve that by discriminating against Asians and whites and Jews now. But do you know what that might do? It might cause a little bit of racism. Yeah, that's right. Cuz if you're an Asian kid who busts his ass and then you get discriminated against and you can't go to Harvard or whatever Ivy League school you want to get into. Not that you should because it's just a Hamas factory factory. But if you can't get into that school because of the color of your skin or your ethnicity, you might start becoming a little racist against the people who got in who had lesser qualifications. That inherently is the problem. But then the worst version, of course, was that these blue states and cities, New York City is the most obvious example, they let in all of these people, they gave them crazy services. Every time I would go back to New York City, a place that I grew up in and loved, loved, loved, loved while I lived there. Every time it was worse. People don't go on the subway anymore because you might be pushed into a car or you might be lit on fire, which is not that fun. You would go to the Roosevelt Hotel, which was one of the most iconic hotels in all of New York City. And it was a massive. We did a video outside of it, and someone. Someone said to me after that, it looked like I was about to be stabbed while we were walking through it. I guess Phoenix was my security guard that day. It's like, this is what you people have done. But I ended up loving that music. Like, it reminds me of, like, being out and about as a kid in the summer in the park, listening to music and barbecuing and all of that stuff. So is there a specific song? You know, how about Dion? They were banned in the 50s. Run around Sue. Give me a little. Can we play a little Run around sue at some point? Can we? Oh, we can't do it. So, yeah, Robert says, are you still trying to get Anna Kasparian on your show? I've been following her her on X and it seems she has moved to the right on some issues, or at least not the radical left like she was. I think she'd be a very interesting and worthwhile interview. You know, I've only addressed this once or twice. You may remember I did a one on one with Piers Morgan about this. Anna was a colleague and co host of mine when I was on the Young Turks now, you know, over 10 years ago, which is crazy. We were very, very good friends. She was invited to our wedding. We hung out multiple times a week. You know, she was basically like a sister to me. I left. She completely turned on me, has done endlessly awful videos about me. I've largely ignored all of that other than when people have brought up this thing that it does sound like she's waking up. I think she, you know, they always say a conservative is just a liberal who got mugged by reality. I think she literally got mugged in San Francisco or accosted or somebody exposed themselves to her or something weird. And now she's going through her own wake up. So, and, and she did say on Piers Morgan, apparently. I think the exact line was, I might have been wrong about Dave Rubin. So if she wants to, she has an open invitation. I offered it to Piers. If she wants to do it on his show, if she wants a moderator, if she doesn't want a moderator, if it's honest and forthright like I'm always welcoming to people that are, that are heading in this direction. So yeah, I would, I would do it. Conservative chica says, how is the vibe in D.C. when is Congress going to actually backstop the executive orders with legislation? Well, that is always a great question. Congress is not particularly functional and Trump's doing an awful lot by executive action, which obviously is not the best way to do things. Right. If the president does something by executive action, those things can just be reversed by executive action. Which is exactly why when Biden came in, he reversed, what was it, 68 executive actions that Trump had done on the border. Then Trump comes back and he reverses all those reversals. So it is not a good way to be governed overall for sure. So I don't know when Congress is going to do that, but we do have to get out. For those of us that actually do care about liberty, like Jeff Bezos, if you do care about liberty, if you do care about rule of law and you care about separation of powers, you don't. And even if you love everything Trump is doing, you don't want so much, much stuff being done just by the stroke of a pen because that's how easy it is to reverse it. So I'd love to see Congress get involved in some of this stuff. What would be nice is actually a very simple thing that Congress could do, although I doubt it will be done, is that as Doge eliminates waste as they expose all this nonsense, Congress which controls the purse strings, right, that's what Congress is really supposed to do. They could start coming up with some laws that will, will really tighten how we're going to spend money and what we're going to fund and what we're doing with these agencies and everything else. So we'll see if they do it. I don't have any great hope on that. Elizabeth says, what's your favorite ridiculous or frivolous purchase you made? I bought an 18 inch Mega Pop Loki figure. You know, I was thinking about this. So what's the craziest? Like just completely unnecessary. You know, we've gone on nice vacation. But I know that's not what you're asking about. I think, look, everybody knows Dave Rubin loves a good piece of meat. And I once spent, I think we have a picture. This is not the exact piece of meat I bought, but this is the place that I bought it at. And it's the same cut that I got, that is Japanese A5 wagyu. And I spent $1,000 on a piece of meat that was basically just like that, which is an insane amount of money. Japanese, a 5 wagyu is, it is the top of the line. It is not the everyday steak that you are going to eat. You barely have to do anything to it, I kid you not. Like you put, you get that pan. If you ever just, you don't have to buy a thousand dollar one, but if you ever just want to get a simple thin cut of wagyu that you can get for probably 50 bucks and you can't eat that much of it too because it's so rich, it's so fatty and buttery. You just can't, you won't only need a couple bites of it. So that, that when I made that, I probably served like 10 people. That's not an entree. It's just you slice that up and everyone has, you know, two bites and you're, you're totally good. But it's so fatty. It's so delicious. Put that picture up again like that, that marbling. When they talk about A, A5, this is the highest level of beef basically that you can get in the world, right? And I know it feels counterintuitive to some people. You might be looking at that and thinking you're just eating fat. But that beautiful marbling there, that's what creates the tenderness and the flavor and everything else. Yes, it is not a lean piece of meat, but all you have to do is get your pan as hot as you can get it. Get a cast iron. Do not put anything in there. You don't need butter, you don't need oil. You drop it in there for one minute on one side, one minute on the other side. When it is as piping hot as it can get, you will get a beautiful sear on the outside. It will basically be rare to medium rare. Let it sit for about a half hour out of the fridge first. And just a little bit of salt, little bit of coarse salt. You will never have anything better. And that is probably the most frivolous purchase I have ever made. Hey, doctor, in reference to Trump's wide tent scenario, this is from Dina. Leading up to the election, is there a Democrat or Lib or even progressive maybe that you'd like to flip or one that you would take great satisfaction in witnessing their transformation to the Maga Maha movement and why? So I was thinking about this question because I've seen so many of these people come across, right? We've seen the Bobby's come over, we've seen the Tulsi's, you know, the laundry list of people. You all have family members that have come across. So who, who is like a realistic Democrat that could actually come across? I'm going to say something crazy, right? Right now. People are going to say, dave Rubin, you have lost your marbles. I'm going to say, believe it or not, guys, you're all going to fall out of your chairs. I'm going to say, Hillary Clinton, I am telling you right now, this is, I'm just, this is just a theory. The Democrats have so lost their minds. They have so gone crazy, right? We talked about this all week that there is no bench left. The radicals have taken over. Hillary Clinton, for all the reason, reasons you may not like her, is not a completely insane leftist, right Hillary Clinton, I think, and Bill Clinton. And if you think back to the Clinton presidency, they love America now. They have a different vision for how the government should operate. And they may have done awful things and sure, he raped an intern and okay, nobody's perfect, but I don't think they are crazy socialist radical nut bags. So. But the left has no ability to police itself. So as they go that route, as they go the Jasmine Crockett Hamas route, as they're gonna be too radical for ao retarded c. As they keep doing that, Hillary Clinton will increasingly find herself on the outside of that and she'll be looking over at the maga maha thing and that thing will keep widening and it'll be pro America and pro capitalism and, and all of those things. And I'm not saying that she's going to put on a maga hat, I'm not saying she's going to put on a maha hat. But what I think you are going to see out of these people because at some point reality just is. You can deny it, you can obfuscate, you could try not to see it. But at some point, reality is what reality is. Nothing you could do about that. And I think there will be some degree of support. I don't know exactly what that means. They eat organic chicken, they love steak. One fun thing is sometimes it's hard to feed a kid, right? You just never know what they want. They want to throw food everywhere. They want to play with it. Giving them, I will literally make a steak and then, then just leave some meat on the bone and then they'll just grab the bone and they want to eat like a caveman. Like there's something that a child that's like innate to a child that they love it. They absolutely love that. We tried to give them soft serve ice cream. We took them down, down in Homestead, which is below us here in Miami, and it's a lot of farmland down there. They've got all these farms and whatever and we went down there playing with the horses and the cows and all that stuff and they had some soft serve ice cream and we're like, all right, we'll try it. So we're going to try to push that as long as we can. Right? There's no reason to unnecessarily give your children sugar. Like, when I think back to childhood, and my parents were pretty good about that stuff, like we didn't have a lot of sugary cereals and everything else, but every now and again there'd be some Fruit Loops or Fruity Pebbles or something. And it's like you're just pouring a bowl full of sugar into, into your kid's brain and then sending them to, off to school. And then you wonder why they're bouncing off the walls. And then they get home and they're crashing and pissed and blah, blah, blah. And then all of the other stuff that they're putting in their bodies and everything else. This is, this is largely what the Maha movement is. But I. Look, it's like, it's like the phone situation. Like, we don't really do the phone thing with them. We really don't at all. And we don't, we barely, barely do any tv. We do Bluey. I like what Bluey's up to and I'm, I'm smuggling. I don't, I don't want David to know about, about this, but I smuggle in a little old school 80s transformers in there too. But it's not very fast. That's the thing. You don't want to blow their brains apart with all the flash, you know, the flashes and the quick cuts and all and the hyper colors and all that stuff. But the same challenge that you will have with the food as a parent, and any of you that are parents know this is the same challenge that you have with this thing. Like at some point, like your kids are going out to school, they are with other kids who are eating different ways or they're going and having sleepovers and at friends houses and whether that means that they're watching nonsense on Netflix or they're eating a lot of stuff that you don't want to feed them. When they talked about the Palestinians, they were talking about the Jews. The Arabs used to boycott Palestine because they were boycotting the Jews. You can find headlines from the 30s about that. Palestine means philistine in Latin. Like it's. It's a complete confusion. But by the way, as it pertains to that, because it is important. You know, people get confused. They look at a map. This is what the left has done so brilliantly that because they've blown so many people's brains apart, you show them a map of 1947, and if you look at the map, it just says Palestine on it. Now, again, it wasn't a country called Palestine. It was part of the British Empire, and it was the British Mandate for. For Palestine. And there were Jews that lived there and Christians that lived there and Arabs that lived there and everything else. And then they show you that Israel came into existence in 19. In 1948, modern state of Israel. And then it seemed that Palestine disappeared, but it didn't exist. The British mandate was over. The British Empire was over. So when everyone's like, it's 75 years of occupation, it's like, oh, yes, you want the British Empire to come back. Or we could do a couple years before that, and we could bring back the Turkish Ottoman Empire. Wouldn't that be something? So it's a complete lie and everything else. But I. I will say this because it is important to. To define these terms. Brian Mast, who's a congressman up in here in Florida, he just put forth something that the Republican. The Republican Congress people should refer to what we call the west bank, which is just the west bank of the Jordan river. Historically, for thousands of years, ma called Judea and Samaria, and there was a guy named Jesus who lived there. And the Judean Hills. You're not going to believe who lived in the Judean Hills. It was the Jews. And that's where the story of Hanukkah took place and everything else. But yada, yada, yada. The Republicans in Congress will no longer be using the modern made up phrase West Bank. They're going to be calling it Judea and Samaria again. And although it might seem like semantics to some people, I think it's important to correct, correct these historical wrongs. And I don't know what the APR will be, but hopefully if Trump gets the economy going, it'll be pretty low. Carmen says, can you imagine Joy Reid showing up on a program and beginning to tell the actual truth to the country? Well, that's the funny thing about these people. You know, again, when she was crying and we played you that video earlier in the week and she's crying, it's like there's a human part of me that's like, I don't want someone to be in pain. It's not fun. You hear somebody lost a job. No. Now, did she deserve $3 million to spew that racism and all of that just awful nonsense? Of course she didn't deserve it. She is still a human being, but she doesn't really deserve any of our sympathy. Now, she will do some kind of. Now what, what can she do here? Right? So assuming she still wants to be in the, in the public arena, what can she do? She can either go all in on that stuff, which she clearly is going to do, or she could have some sort of a way, like action, actual awakening and, you know, come to Jesus moment. There's no evidence she's going to do that. In the video where she was crying, My show had worth. My show had worth. She's still defending BLM. She's still defending 16, 19 projects. She's still defending Hamas. So it's like, lady, it's very obvious what you're going to do. But I would say Joy Reid again, I mentioned it the other day, but I did start Locals. So you may have seen this yesterday. Byron Donalds congressman from Fort Myers, southwest Florida, Naples area, he's running for governor to replace DeSantis at the end of, you know, he's got about two years left. And I mentioned on the show yesterday that a lot of people are saying that Casey DeSantis is going to run as well. Look, is she qualified in that she has had all of these jobs in government? If you view that as a qualification, then no, not in the traditional sense. I can tell you having been in Florida now for, you know, three plus years, that I think at almost every single event that I ever went to that DeSantis was at or was a big Republican event here in Florida, that Casey was there, not only there usually speaking, doing a lot of behind the scenes work, gotten to know them a little bit like she fully gets it. I think she's a great public speaker. If anything, they probably should have leveraged her a little bit more. So in the most tradition sense, by being the wife of the governor, does she have qualifications? Probably not in the most narrow way you might look at that. But in terms of being around a highly functional, competent guy who happens to be her husband and seeing how it works and getting all of that and loving the state, then in that sense she's, she's qualified and there's going to be a battle to be fought out. I, I'm very, as I said yesterday, I'm very happy about the fact that there is a thick bench like whether, whether in two years from now if Byron Donalds or Casey Desantis ends up as the governor of Florida. Florida will be in good shape. That's in contrast to what's going on with the left where the bench is so damn thin. So I'll sit down with Byron, I'll sit down with Casey and anyone else that's running. And let's hash it out. Let's see what's what. Kels says. Why does Maddow think she she has the right to speak out against her employer? Why don't they fire her? She's so gross. Well, the answer to that question is because it's all theater. You really must understand, these people that work there are all theater. The View or, or Joy Reid or Rachel Natto. You could never be so bad at your job, Jake Tapper. You could never lie about so many things or get so many things wrong and still have your job. Unless you worked for the government. Right? You either have to work for the government or work for corporate media. Otherwise you would be fired. Right? If every day we started this show and the show didn't start, I would have to talk to Connor and say, you're really taking it on the chin today. You're taking one for the team. But I have to say, you don't seem to know what you're doing. We're going to have to have a talk about that. But the show starts every day and there you go. But in the government, you either don't have to show up for work, you don't have to check your email, you might be dead. And you still get paid in corporate media. You can lie about Russia collusion, you can lie about COVID you can lie about all these things and you still have a job. So Rachel Maddow the other day, getting up there and basically being like, my bosses are racist and we don't. We fired two black people. In primetime, it's all just theater. Because if she really cared about it, I am told that Rachel Maddow, there she is, God bless her. That I am told that she gets $25 million to do a once a week show. That is utterly insane. There's no financial model that makes that make sense. Unless she is just paid to promote propaganda, then there is a value in it. But there's no financial system that makes sense. That show does not earn enough money in a once a week time slot on a failing network with huge overhead that it makes sense that she could generate $25 million. It's absolutely insane. But it's theater. So she can get up there and say all those Things knowing she won't have to actually step down and offer a black person her gig. She's there to make it seem like, oh, she's fighting the power. You see how she's fighting the power. She calls out her bosses at msnbc. But if her bosses at MSNBC had had any integrity, they'd fire her, too. Right? They'd fire her for telling us that if you got the COVID shot, you weren't going to get Covid. Why didn't I tell you that? That. So I think you get it. Mark says, why are we allied with countries in Western Europe that are more authoritarian than Putin? Starmer has put 3,300 people in prison for having opinions online, whereas Putin has put 400 in. So we did a fact check on this because those numbers seemed a little crazy to me. It turns out that 3,300 people have been investigate, investigated by Starmer over free speech, not imprisoned. 118 people have been arrested for social unrest on social media. But that doesn't, that doesn't dismiss or debunk the point of your question, which is that right now in Western Europe, we have governments, particularly I would say, in Britain, that are becoming more and more authoritarian. You can run outside in Britain and you can call for genocide and you can burn things down and take over bridges and all those things, and the police will go out of their way to protect you. But if you put up a meme about Starmer or something else, they will show up at your door. This is a huge problem, by the way. That's exactly the main purpose of the speech that J.D. vance gave. What was that? Two weeks ago or so, where he talked about how Western. The biggest threat to Western Europe is not Russia. It is dying on the sword themselves. It's impaling themselves. If they will not defend free speech within their own borders, then whether Putin moves on Ukraine or anything else is going to be secondary. That is not a defense of Putin, but it is a defense of Western values. And until these guys realize that, and I'm telling you guys, having been in London for a week and being at the R conference, 96 countries were represented there. I talked to, I must have talked to at least people from 50 different countries myself. And what everyone is saying is the exact same freaking thing, which is, thank God for Donald Trump and thank God for the United States of America and thank God for the First Amendment. And boy, we, whatever country we're in, whether I was talking to people from Germany or South Africa, I had a really interesting conversation with a guy from South Africa or from the UK or whatever else they are deeply worried. It's almost, let's put it this way, from an American perspective, it is almost unfathomable to think that you could be in a situation where you wouldn't say what you think. Now you might not always say what you think because you don't want to offend your spouse or something like that, but meaning that if you were to say something online that you'd be arrested for it. But in Europe you can be, the UK you can be. Now that's a huge, huge problem and it's really hard for us to get our brains around it. Really, really is. The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, I think is largely an Islamist. That's my belief. I tweeted about him yesterday or the day before, but I didn't want to tweet about it when I was there because I didn't want the potential for the London police to show up at my hotel or I was going to get hung up at the airport or something else. The fact that I had to even think about that is a huge problem. And there are millions of good, decent people who live in Western Europe who are dealing with that. And that is a problem.
