This is the Rubin Report. You have already subscribed, you've tapped the notification bell, you've shared and all those good things. So I won't even ask you to do it today. And we just got. It's just a jam packed program for you. There is not a minute of fluff over the next 60 minutes, I promise you that. There's just a ton, mostly, at least for the first half. We're gonna be focusing on Joe Kent, a guy that I've probably mentioned on the show maybe two or three times over the years. Up until just about a half day ago, he was the director of National Counterterrorism under Tulsi over at National Intelligence. And he has now stepped down. And it's going to lead, I think, to all sorts of weird things in the influencer wars that we've been talking about. A little bit of the fight over what America first is. I think there's some issues here about leaks. We'll get into all of that. There's just a lot of stuff and you can see that this is just gonna be the next thing that lights a members into a bigger fire. We'll also talk about Trump and not just the Iran situation, but some of his, I guess you could say, threats and, or promises to the people over in Europe. And then we'll end up back on our shores. Talk about where the SAVE act is at and where the Democrats are at with this rather bizarre shutdown that they are doing for no reason other than to punish you, hoping that you will take your anger out on Donald Trump. But. Okay, so let's start with Joe Kent. He tweeted this out yesterday. After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as director of the National Counterterrorism center, effective today. I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby. It has been an honor to serve under POTUS and Tulsi Gabbard and leading the professionals at nctc. May God bless America. Okay, so first we're going to try to go into a little bit of Joe Kent's politics. Now, this is a guy who has served, I think 11 tours of duty, by every account, decent American. But there is some strange stuff here and some odd moves sort of politically. And again, we'll get to the leak part of it in just a second. But here he is a couple years ago on Tucker. This is when Tucker had just left Fox. So this is about three years ago or so, and he did lose his wife in one of these wars. And he was taking more of a libertarian sort of isolationist approach, which, as I've said many times, you can take that approach. Personally, I generally think it's a little immature to just say I'm anti war because war could come to you, but you can take a principled approach. And here he is a couple years ago.

Look, Tucker, I would love to come on here and defend neoconservatism as someone who, you know, lost my late wife in these wars, as somebody who lost countless friends, as somebody who fought myself 11 combat deployments. I spent most of my 20s and 30s in Iraq. I would love to tell you it had worked, but it simply did not. It's actually challenging to thread the needle, like, where do we go from here? We can't just let the Iranians attack and kill our people.

But at the same time we know if we go to war, if Iran, this is going to be a disaster. There's no data that says, like, hey, maybe if we just go to a war, if Iran, this time it's going to work out great. We've actually got to assess the past mistakes that we made, make adjustments, and then chart a more pragmatic way forward.

Okay, so let me, I'm going to show you a couple of clips here, but let me be clear about a couple of things. As someone that served 11 tours of duty overseas, spent most of his 20s and 30s in the military, I am in no way going after him personally or what he has done for the country. So I 100% want to put that there. He also makes a point that as someone who fought in these wars, he wishes he could defend them, meaning the adventurous wars that George W. Bush and Bill Clinton and even Barack Obama with Libya put us on. He wishes he could kind of defend those wars because he was part of them. You don't want to come home from these wars and think, boy, what was the purpose of all that? Did anything get better? So I think that's quite honorable. Now, interestingly, he says basically something to the effect of, you know, Iran is killing our people. He flat out says that. But if we go to war with them, you know, he's basically saying, and this, again, this is a couple years ago, he's saying it's not going to be good. Now we're 15 or 16 days into this war, and it's been remarkably good so far. Right? Navy's gone, Iranian Navy, Iranian Air force is gone. Military leadership is gone. Spiritual leadership is gone. We will see what happens after all of it. But it's been a rather miraculous war that, as I said yesterday, I think will be studied for decades to come. But, okay, everything that I played you right there, I think seems perfectly principled. He's giving a personal opinion. He's paid a price, been to war 11 times, lost his wife in one of them, and he's saying he can't defend these wars. Now, that's obviously before we sort of see the new version of Donald Trump, who just does things very differently. And the idea that Donald Trump wants forever wars or is a neocon or something, I think is just sort of nuts. But, okay, that was years ago. Now let's jump to this is about seven months ago, a little bit more. This is August of 2025. Here he is telling Sean Ryan that escalating with Iran is actually logical because of the amount of times they've been attacking U.S. troops.

Most Americans aren't aware of it. Our troops in Iraq and Syria have been attacked 150 plus times by Iranian proxies. And when we say Iranian proxies, we gotta be clear on what that is. That's the Iraqi government that we pay because after the Iraqi military we spent 2 trillion on surrendered to ISIS, we had to go back in there in very short order and stand a military back up again. And guess who filled the breach? The Shia militias controlled by Iran did. And the Iraqi government's controlled by Iran.

Okay, so I'm trying to paint a picture and we really went through the clips quite extensively this morning to do this as fairly and cleanly as possible. So, you know, you have in one video a couple years ago, sort of taking the more isolationist approach, but then also saying we should do something about Iran, he just doesn't want to lose the war. Then you have him about eight months ago saying, Iran's killing an awful lot of our people. Now let's go back to 2020. Here's a tweet that he put up to Donald Trump. He wrote, we should not sit and wait for the next attack. Wipe Iran's ballistic capability out and get our troops out of Iraq. They are only targets now. No US Wia Kia is a tribute to the professionalism, our military and intel professionals, not Iranian restraint. So there he is, that's a little over six years ago, telling Trump to completely wipe out their ballistic missile program and that the Iranians are really bad guys. By the way, the Iranian ballistic missiles program is completely, 100% wiped out. Right now. They have a couple random rockets that they're still firing, but the program itself is completely blown away. So right now Donald Trump is doing exactly what Joe Kent wanted him to do a couple years ago. Here's one more from 2020. He writes, I personally think we should have crushed their ballistic and new capabilities. But Trump has a plan. He definitely earned the confidence of any clear eyed observer. You know, it's interesting because that also is, you know, that's now six plus years ago. And that's pretty much what I've been saying all along. None of us know exactly what's going on here outside of the people that have the full set of information. So Trump and Rubio and Hegseth, et cetera. But what he's basically saying there is you take out the weapons from the bad guys and that Donald Trump deserves some of our trust. I think that is very, very obvious. So the question here is, is what happened to Joe Kent over the last couple years. He was taking positions that are 100% in alignment with what Donald Trump is doing right now, and he's going completely the other way. I should just note, by the way, this is a slight sidebar, but I did meet Joe Kent once. We had a drink about a half hour, just the two of us. It was actually the night that Tulsi. Or the afternoon first that Tulsi was sworn in at dni, and then there was a little dinner party after that we were both invited to. He happened to be at the bar. I got there a little bit early. We had a glass of wine, had a very nice conversation with the guy. So I have nothing personally against him. And again, I credit the guy for putting his life on the line and all of those things. But now I want to shift it to something else. Okay? People have different political opinions. Your policies can change things of that nature. Also, he keeps blaming Israel on this, even though Trump has said 100%, this is what he wanted to do. And we've played many videos over the last few weeks of Trump being consistent over the last 40 years about this, but I want to read you this tweet from town hall columnist Dustin Grage. He wrote, listen, Joe Kent is a patriot for his service to his country. Nothing can take that away. But he was clearly let go for being a leaker and has since positioned himself to appeal to a certain crowd on his way out the door. And here's just a bit more on this leak issue. This is from Buzz Patterson, who's a Red State columnist and New York Times bestselling author. He wrote, there's more to the Joe Kent story than meets the eye. According to friends, apparently Joe leaked intelligence under the nose of Secretary of. As a result, his access to classified information was removed several weeks ago. He's not stepping down due to his allegiance to integrity. He's being forced to leave. Okay, so this is now super interesting again, I think. I think we just played the political foreign policy part of that as even keeled 50, 50 as possible. Right now there's this other portion where it appears he's been leaking for quite some time and they knew about it, that Hegseth and others knew about it, and he was being kept in out of meetings. And now he's stepping down, saying he's against the war. But it sounds like he was leaking now. Leaking to who? That's interesting. And I suppose we will find out some things. Here's Trump on Kent's resignation.

Your director of National Counterterrorism. Joe Kent, he just resigned today. He said he can't support your conflict with Iran. What's your reaction to that?

And did you?

Well, I read his statement. I always thought he was a nice guy, but I always, always thought he was weak on security. Very weak on security. I didn't know him well, but I thought he seemed like a pretty nice guy. But when I read his statement, I realized that it's a good thing that he's out because he said that Iran was not a threat. Iran was a threat. Every country realized what a threat Iran was. The question is whether or not they wanted to do something about it. And many people, many of the greatest military scholars are saying for years that president should have taken out Iran because they wanted a nuclear weapon.

Yeah, again, you know, I keep saying this every time we play a clip of Trump, but we're just never gonna have a more honest president than that, right? Like, he's, he's just speaking the truth from the heart. It's not hard to listen to him because he's telling the truth. Iran was obviously a threat. Now, interestingly, Kent used the word imminent in there, which is one of the words that they keep using. And it's like, do you wait for a threat to be imminent and more dangerous, or do you take out the threat before? I mean, just kind of think it through. If someone was threatening you and your family, do you wait till it's about to happen at your door, or do you do it a little bit before that, before their missile system is stronger, before they have nukes, before they have a better built up military, et cetera, et cetera. But interestingly, Trump basically said he's a nice guy, he wasn't doing a great job. And I'm not saying this is fully connected, but he was in counterintelligence. Counterintelligence deals with terrorism. Right. And we know that we've had fraud, four jihadist attacks in the United States in the last month. There was the Michigan synagogue attack. I'm not even going to read all their names. There was the Austin terror shooter who killed, you know, or killed two people, shot 16 in Austin. There was the Old Dominion University attack, and of course, there was the bomb attack outside of Gracie Mansion in New York City. So somebody is responsible for some of those things. And if you're in counterintelligence, I mean, if he was, we don't know this, but if he was ideologically at odds with the president, were things falling under the. Falling through the cracks? In essence, here's Florida gubernatorial candidate, likely next governor of Florida, Byron Donalds on cancer resignation. And, well, the style he went out in. What is your response to what he said?

Number one, I think that it was really inappropriate for him to write a letter like that on his way out the door that's essentially trying to throw a hand grenade in while you shut the door and walk out. I think that's wrong. Number two, it undermines the commander in chief and I think it also undermines our military officials who are in that region right now. Number three, and more importantly, and I think this is really for the American people, Donald Trump is not going to be cowed by the Israeli government or any other government. And I would add, knowing him and knowing several members of the family, I mean, if you talk to members of his family, they don't get him to make a decision. So how do you expect another country to force him to make a decision that's not accurate? I think the president looked at the information in real time and said, this is what we need to do. And I think that was actually supported by the tweet that came out from Dni Gabbard, essentially saying, listen, the president looked at all the information and he made this decision.

Yeah, I have to say I like Byron and I think he'll be a fine governor if by every account he's up by 50, 60 points at this point. So we'll see what happens there. But he makes an interesting point that I'VE consistently made, which is, do you think at this point Donald Trump is not making the decision? After everything Trump's been through for the last decade and everything that they've thrown at him and everything else, do you think he's just bamboozled and tricked by people all the time or that he does know what he's doing or that somehow he's been right about all of this stuff and it's just a freaking miracle. He has no idea what he's doing. He's like Mr. Magoo. He has no idea what he's doing and somehow it always works out in the end. He's like Inspector Gadget. No idea what he's doing, but some little girl and there was a cat and some other stuff. It's a long time ago. I haven't watched Inspector Gadget in a while. You guys don't even know what Inspector Gadget is. I'm getting old. It also is worth noting that immediately after he sent this letter out, it was leaked that he's going to go the first two shows. So he's immediately doing a press tour. And the first two shows that he's going on, I mean, just get yourself in your chair. He's going on Candace and Tucker. So he's going on, quite literally the two most radically anti Trump. You know, if you want to call them right wing. I don't even consider them right wing anymore or concern. I don't even know what I consider them. But the two most ant. Well, it's not just that anti war, but they are anti Trump. Candace is radically anti Trump. Tucker, the most generous thing I could say is that he's anti war, but I think he is anti Trump too. And he's going on their shows first. So there was a plan here, right? Like this didn't all just, I'm going to send the letter and then let's just, just magically get on these shows. No, he knew what shows he was going on and there's a political reason for it. Here is Dan Bongino, who knows a little something about intelligence and a little something about media and a little something about integrity. Explaining a bit about the Kent situation.

Yeah, the sacrifice is beyond reproach. That doesn't mean that this current opinion is any more fact based because it's not. I'm really sorry, Laura. I mean, I read probably a lot more intelligence than he did because they don't have a law enforcement function. The National Counterterrorism center, they're an analytical clearinghouse. They're valuable. However, I had access to just about everything. And how you could come to the conclusion that the Israelis did it and there was no imminent threat here. Really? What about the anti ship ballistic missiles, the drone program? 440 kg of 60% enriched nuclear material, Their constant death to America chants? I mean, you know, that's called evidence in some limited circles we call that, you know, a clue. I mean, I don't know at what point you thought this wasn't an imminent threat after you've read a lot of the stuff I read. And by the way, that's just the open source stuff we can talk about on the air. I promise you. The President, I promise you, has a bevy of material that if he could do the Men in Black thing and erase your mind tomorrow, if he told you right now, you would come to the imminent threat conclusion in a snap.

I have to say just on a personal note, I'm really thrilled to have Dan Bongino back in the game. I have no doubt he was doing good work for a year with the government. But having him back in the game to explain a lot of this stuff, and as he points out, he just laid out a bunch of evidence. That's all the open source stuff. That's just the stuff that we, you know, that's out there in the ether. But there's plenty of classified information that Trump is privy to as well. So he, Dan does a nice job there. He doesn't, he doesn't attack Kent Service or anything else. He's just saying he is wrong about what the threat level was or that Trump's not in charge or anything else. And the minute he says something against someone, they hate Donald Trump or my case, me. They'll be like respected voice in the conservative movement. They do this all the time. We know this, we talked about this yesterday with Marjorie Taylor Greene. This is someone who they hated when she was on Trump's side, right? The ladies of the View hated her and CNN hated her and MSNBC hate her. She now goes against Trump. She's a hero to all of them. Thomas Massie, when he was with Trump, they hated him. He's a Libertarian maniac, far right. The second he goes against Trump, CNN suddenly loves him. Liz Cheney, well, everyone always hated her, but you get the point. She was a Republican who was anti Trump. So they kept bringing her on all of these shows. And it's very obvious that's about to. About that is what is about to happen with Kent. For sure. For sure. But now I want to do kind of. Well, I guess we could call this Kent versus Reality, or we could call this podcastistan and right wing lunacy versus Reality. Because if you're just on Twitter all day and I spend way too much time on this thing and you're just in the little digital space, it's impossible to tell what's real anymore, right? Because clicks and likes and all these things, it's so highly manipulated. And the bots and you don't even, you know, you tweet something out, you get 50,000 likes on it, and for all you know, 40,000 of them are bots from Pakistan. And just it becomes increasingly difficult to figure out what people think. But tons and tons of polling, we've showed you some numbers. 91% of Trump supporters, MAGA support this war. So Trump has not lost any of his real supporters. Are Democrats pissed? Yeah. Were Democrats pissed before? Yeah. Are there probably some marginal people, like the people who weren't like huge MAGA people who maybe came around that they were more traditional, you know, sort of anti war lefties that aren't thrilled? Of course there are, and there's always edge cases in all of these things. But the point is that Trump is doing what he thinks is right. He has the base behind him and he has a team behind him that people actually like. Here's that little hopped up. He's like a hopped up little. He's kind of a leprechaun. I wish we would have played a video of him yesterday. This Harry Entin over on CNN talking about how Marco Rubio is just crushing it.

I mean, just take a look here. Okay? Own party approval, Secretary of State about at this point in the presidency. Look at this. Marco Rubio at 81% among Republicans at this point, significantly higher than Tony Blinken was. Of course, who was Joe Biden Secretary of State at this point? The Joe Biden presidency was only at 73%. So I think Donald Trump is also looking at these numbers, seeing, hey, this is a popular guy amongst the Republican base and the actions he's overseeing are also quite popular. Maybe he's someone I might want to get behind for 2020. Marco Rubio is hot Hot, hot like a summer heat wave. I mean, just, just take a look here over the last six months. Chance Rubio is the 2028 GOP presidential nominee. He was just at 7% six months ago. Hello, up like a rocket, 27% chance. Now, what is that? That's quadrupling his chances in four months time.

That guy is the dorkiest dork in Dorktown. He is like king of the dorks. However, the numbers, I'll go with him on the numbers. And the fact is that huge amounts like w tremendous amounts of Republicans like Marco Rubio, which really, in essence what they're saying is we like the way the war is being run, right? Because he's secretary of State, it is quite literally his job to put on a suit every morning and represent the state on the world stage. And he does it quite well. And if there was this, as you know, Candace and Tucker and some of these other people are trying to tell you, if there was this massive exodus from MAGA as quite literally, Marjorie Taylor Greene, new CNN golden child, said on CNN yesterday, the leaving him and everything else, well, then Marco wouldn't be feeling that and the dorkiest guy in Dorktown wouldn't be as dorktastic as he is. Yeah. So there he is. Okay. So it just sets us up. It's not that that clip was so wild, other than I should have acknowledged St. Patty's Day yesterday, and there he is at a St. Patty's Day event saying, you know, hey, there's a lot going on with Iran and we're going to keep the pressure on. Now here's where it gets interesting. Trump is realizing, I think, that alliances, the old alliances of the Post World War II, the post World War II order, they have really melted away. They don't really exist on anything other than paper. Can the US really rely. If crap was going down, could we really rely on the uk? Can we rely on them right now? Can we really rely on France? Does Western Europe really matter at this point in terms of an actual alliance? Not just we're going to do some stuff and you'll say nice things. Do these countries really matter? Are they even in control of their own populations? And what's going, you know, all the cultural stuff and everything else. And here's Trump talking about UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer and also the future of NATO. Trump is not messing around, I'm telling you. He is taking his opportunity as 47 to do everything at once.

Go like him. I think he's a nice man, but I'm disappointed. You see that man right there? You know who that is? Churchill. Winston Churchill. The late, great Winston Churchill. And I put it right there, Winston Churchill. And, you know, unfortunately, Kira is not Winston Churchill.

Are you rethinking the United States relationship with NATO possibly getting out, or.

I'm disappointed in NATO. And when they don't help us, I mean, it's certainly something that we should think about. I don't need Congress for that decision, as you probably know. I love Europe. I spend a lot of time in Europe. It's a different place. Bad things have happened to Europe. And you better do something about immigration and you better do something about energy. Energy or you won't have a year.

Yeah, that's all true. And it's perfectly congruent with everything Trump always says. And I love the fact that he turns to the Winston Churchill bust and goes, Keir Starmer is not this guy. What is Keir Starmer? He seems to be afraid of his own population. He's flooded the country with immigrants. Let's not forget, as I talked about here in this room with Tommy Robinson a couple weeks ago, Keir Starmer was in charge of supposedly prosecuting some of those Pakistani rape gangs years ago and did nothing under it. It actually exploded under him. And it's not just. So when they're asking, well, should we rethink our relationship with NATO? What does Trump like? Trump likes deals, deals where everyone comes to the table and everyone walks away feeling pretty good about things. But if NATO, in essence, is just, oh, the US Will fund it and the US Will use our military when no one else is going to do anything, well, then that is a problem. So one of the interesting things that's happening in the Middle east is the, I keep saying the map, but I don't mean in a literal sense. The, the figurative map is being redrawn. As Pete Hegseth pointed out, the United States and Israel have the two most powerful air forces in the world. And that's a force multiplier. We are showing the world that we can exert power when we want. And then what's happening? Well, those 13 Arab or largely Arab Muslim nations who Iran's firing rockets into right now, they're realizing that the US And Israel are not the enemy. So the figurative map is being redrawn. And I think Trump is trying to do that as it pertains to NATO as well. And why would you do that as it pertains to NATO know? Well, largely because in Europe, these people have decided to give up their cultures and their countries. So, of course, yesterday was St. Patty's Day. Now, people put this video up, and it's a really interesting juxtaposition of what's going on here. So we're going to show you first, you're going to see Ireland, St Patrick's Day parade, which is largely Indian. Just is. And then we'll show you Japan, St. Patrick's Day. Take a look. Since 2003, so they've established this association in 2000. Their mission, support their members, bring families together and create. Okay, there's no audio on this one. And look, this is not against the Indian people. If those people came to the country legally and they integrate properly. But now Look. Look at St. Patrick's Day in Japan. Seems pretty green. And they're playing bagpipes and it's pretty. So in Ireland, they're doing Indian dances for St. Patrick's Day. And in Japan, they're doing the traditional Irish jig with bagpipes, which seems more Irish. So somehow Japan has become more Irish than Ireland. It's a lot people, but okay. You know, one thing that the left is good at is they never take a moment to give up their real quest. And their real quest, of course, is the revolution. So any issue is never the issue. The issue is always the revolution. So Moran Zamboni, the communist jihadist mayor of New York City, was asked about St. Patrick's Day, and of course, he made it about, quote, unquote, genocide of Palestinians.

I say this as over the past few years, as we've witnessed a genocide unfold before our eyes, there has been deafening silence from so many. For those who have long cared about universal human rights and the extension of them to Palestinians. Silence, however, is nothing new.

Okay, so first off, beyond the fact that he's just lying and there was no genocide, and if there was a genocide, then why is it the day that the Israelis got their people back, the bombing stopped, blah, blah, blah, blah. I don't even feel like getting into all of that. The issue is always the revolution. So it doesn't matter that it's St. Paddy's Day, and he could just honor the Irish people. The incredible. We'll show you a video in just a second that I really loved. But the incredible contribution that Irish people made to New York City. You know, everyone's always like, the Somalis made Minnesota, and it's just like, complete nonsensical bs. The Irish and the Italians and the Jews and then later the Puerto Ricans and all these people who came to New York mostly through Ellis island, not all of them, but they're the people that came there with nothing. They quite literally did build New York City, but he couldn't focus on that. What he had to focus on was the quote, unquote, genocide. Completely absurd. Good luck with all that. So if you would have not hid your own innocence, innocent people, you know, in schools where they were quite literally tunnels underneath with hostages. Okay, but where are we with the Democrats? Somebody went out there and talked to the nominal younger Democrat, the Zoomer, what do we call them? The Gen Z, the. Whatever they are, the younger Democrat, about whether they have more in common with radical Islam or maga. And. Well, sadly, none of this will come as a surprise to you.

And I said to him, you know, I really like white people. And he said, shh, you can't say that. And I was like, what are you talking about? Why can't I say I like white people? Doesn't mean I hate anyone else. But I got no problem with white people. Viktor Orban, who again, I think I'm gonna be interviewing or at least spending some time with, and then speaking at CPAC and a few other things when we get to Budapest starting this evening. He is the prime minister of Hungary. And one of the things that he has done, probably the most important thing that he did, was close his country's borders. And they pay the price in Hungary for that. They quite literally pay $1 million of fines every single day. So $365 million a year to the EU so that they can remain part of the EU, which they want to be for trade purposes, but they pay a $365 million per year penalty so they can keep their Borders closed, but he's doing it. And as we will show you in videos over the next couple days, Budapest and Hungary is safe and clean and proud of their culture and their history and all of those things. Here he is talking about why he did what he did.

Our migration especially, we are sensitive to that because Hungary is a landlocked country and we are just on the road of the migrants they regularly use coming from Turkey to Europe. And hundreds of thousands appeared a decade ago on our borderline, and we were the only country in Europe who decided to stop them. And even we raised a fence and guard the border by military forces. So we stopped them. No migration and no migrants in Hungary. So the number of migrants in Hungary today is there. I'm very proud of it.

Does that guy strike you as a meanie? Is he a white supremacist or something else? Or was he the elected prime minister of his country and said, as I think he said to me once when I was standing with him, he said, I love my country. And that's not so bad. You're allowed to, and you're allowed to protect your country. And he points out they're in an interesting geographic place because many of these illegals that flood Europe are coming from Turkey, right? So they're on their way to get, get largely to Western Europe, but they got to basically go through Hungary or go around Hungary. So he protected his country. And that's why right now, if you look at Central Europe or Eastern Europe, so Hungary, Poland, some of those countries over there, they're thriving right now while Western Europe is falling on the sword of tolerance and diversity and the rest of it. Now, the, the question for us Americans right now is, okay, they're a few years in front of us on this stuff, meaning they made all the wrong choices and now they're paying the price. Will we we stop it? Well, we are doing some things. We did close our border. That's Donald Trump. We did do some deportations. Probably not enough, but that's Donald Trump. And now a few other things are happening. So let's get this from News Nation. A new rule effective this week could strip up to 200,000 immigrant truck drivers of their commercial driver's licenses, or CDLs. The regulations bar most immigrants from holding these licenses, with the only exceptions being people in the US on immigration, H2A temporary agricultural workers, H2B temporary non agricultural workers, or E2 treaty investors visas. Now, this is something, right? We don't want illegals driving our trucks across the country and we don't Know what they're doing or what they're up to or what their intentions are or anything else. And by the way, there's been a lot of crime and mayhem as it relates to these illegal truck drivers. You may remember this one from. This is from last October, when a California illegal truck driver, Gavin Newsom, allowed for illegal truck drivers to drive across the country. And this guy killed three people. Look at this. He does. He doesn't even look concerned. Look at him. He's looking at it. Doesn't. Doesn't seem very concerned. Killed three people right there. He was illegal and shouldn't be in the country. And Gavin Newsome, of course, should pay the price for that. But it's crazy Cali, and who the hell knows? Now, let's connect this to the other thing that's going on right now, which is that we are in a partial government shutdown. Why are we in a partial government shutdown? Well, as you know, the Democrats don't like ICE, so they shut down DHS to stop ICE, even though ICE is funded through 2029 via the big beautiful bill. So they are quite literally shutting down the government for nothing other than to cause pain to people at airports and punish TSA workers, hoping that you will misdirect. Your. Your anger should be at them, but they're hoping that they can direct that anger towards Trump because people aren't that bright. So listen to this from RNC research. TSA agents aren't showing up for work because Democrats are holding their paychecks hostage to protect criminal illegal immigrants. Yes, that is true. 10% on this past Sunday. 10%. That's a huge. How many TSA employees are there in the United States? It's a huge number. So when you're late at the airport, know that it is 100% the Democrats that are doing this. Now, we did get some positive news because the SAVE act, which would. All it would do would be to make sure that only Americans could vote in American elections. And don't worry, if you're a married woman, you're still gonna be able to vote, just like you can get on a plane and all sorts of other stuff. It did pass. It advanced in the US Senate. I should say it advanced in the US Senate. It 51 to 48.

Okay, so let me be clear on this because people are going to get confused. Save did not pass. It has now just, it's a procedural step. So let me, I'm just going to read it specifically for you. The Senate voted 5,148 to solely open debate on the Save America Act. So this is just procedural to allow debate, not passage. And so what's next? Well, this is the issue around the filibuster. So to actually pass Majority Leader Thune, we're gonna have some video on him in just a second. He's expected to file a cloture to end debate, which would trigger a final vote requiring 60 votes to advance. Now we know that Republicans are not gonna get 60 votes. If the bill passes that 60 vote wall, there will be another vote called the final passage vote of the simple majority. That's the issue. That's the issue about the talking filibuster. Can the Republicans, will they get enough balls basically to do the simple majority thing, which most people don't really want? Most people don't want ideologically, if you're like a strict constitutionalist. Right, because you're wary of power. But we are now fighting a Democrat machine that is so anti America. I see no way around it. Here is Congresswoman Democrat Congresswoman Amy Klobuchar and she's very concerned that Elon's computers are going to come for you. Their private voter data is sent to Homeland Security to go through some Elon Musk designed computer system is not what people want in this country right now. Thank you, Mr. President. I yield. Well, I wouldn't mind an Elon Musk designed computer system making sure that election integrity was actually secure. I mean she's just using ridiculous buzzwords. What system? Who should design the system that will work to ensure election integrity? Who? Who? You just want some deep state guy to do it. You want some Democrat operative to do it. That's not a reason not to have election integrity. So again, when they always say, well they black people can't get printers and they don't know what a computer is and it's all this is racist. Whatever you think there, lady, you don't like Elon Musk's computer systems, then what your argument should be is let's build better computer systems or let's figure out ways to get people IDs not, let's not have IDs at all. If MAGA Republicans want to bog down the Senate over a debate on voter suppression, Democrats are ready. We've got to make those senators who want to filibuster this bill, those who want the benefits of the filibuster. Meaning? Meaning those who want to delay it and postpone and hopefully in their minds, thwart passage of it, they should be required to work for it. Look, this is something that 85% of the American people want. So if a small handful of Democratic lawmakers want to interfere with the will of the American people, let them earn it. Make them speak, make them stand on the Senate floor and explain why in front of all the American people, they won't last very long. Yeah, well, that's completely right. Whether it passes, we still don't know because John Thune, Senate Majority Leader, has been kind of wishy washy on this thing. And at the end, will the Republicans, will they have the balls? I mean, that's what it comes down to. Will they have the balls to do what 85% of their base wants? I mean, think how crazy that is. If you can't. Can't do something, if you can't gin up enough courage to do what 85% of your base wants, then, then the Republican, it's like, who needs Democrats? We have Republicans. Like, they're, they're just as bad. So here is John Thune, who's been very wishy washy on this. Here he is being grilled by a reporter over his strategy as it pertains to passing the SAVE Act. Why is the filibuster more important than stopping, stopping illegals from voting? Well, look, I mean, I think that there are many ways in which you can stop illegals from voting, and a lot of states have some of those measures already in place. So illegals voting and the other things that are in the Save America act

It's just something that can be casually dealt with. Not worth losing the filibuster. I don't think you're. I don't think it's being casually dealt with. We're gonna have a spirited debate on the floor here. I just don't understand this guy. I don't get it. You're Senate Majority Leader. I get why you don't want to get rid of the talking filibuster, and I get why you should be leery of power. But after all the years of the Democrats flooding the country after a Democrat party now that's wildly against America on every front, a Democrat Party that's openly talking about putting all you people in jail and impeaching Trump and everything else, you guys still, and you have 80 to 90%, 85 to 90% of your own bases saying do it, and you still won't do it necessarily. What's going on with that guy? I would like to know. But you just listen. Just listen to the Democrats. John Doon. If you're not afraid that they will come for all of you, all of us, when they have power, just listen to their words. Don't, don't, don't say, oh, Dave, Ruben's just some crazy conspiracy theorist. Here is likely presidential candidate on The Democrat side, J.B. pritzker, a man who has not quite destroyed Illinois the way Gavin Newsom's destroyed Cali. But he's doing a hell of a job here. It's incredible how dangerous these people are. And I'm sorry Thune, if you don't get it, like, you don't deserve the respect of anybody at all. The number one thing that this guy would want to do if the Democrats get in power is restore the rule of law. It's Trump that restored the rule of law. It's Trump that restored the border. Restoring the rule of law would be getting illegals out of the country. And what you want to do, number one, is you're going to, you're going to go after criminally and civilly, the federal agents. He's talking about ICE officers who are doing their job. Job. These people are bananas. So how do we tie this all together and give you something positive today? Because the Republicans are kind of sucky. We're watching some, you know, we started with some infighting and a leak and people going after maga. Now we're showing you that the Republicans are not unified even in something that 85 to 90% of the base wants. So what do you do? How do you fix things? Well, you need leaders who are brave. You need people who will just say, I'm not going to play this game. I'm going to do what's right for the sake of doing what's right. It's kind of like what Trump on that audio clip we played for you yesterday when they asked him about Iran and political blowback and what do the polls say? And he's like, well, I have to do what's right. Like, it's as simple as that. So I want to flash back to something and then you'll see how we tie it into something that's happening right now. But this is 2022 New York Post, Republican, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis lashed out at Disney executives on Tuesday, one day after the Mouse House condemned the governor's signing of the so called don't say Gay Bill. For Disney to come out and put a statement and say that the bill should have never passed and they are actively working to repeal it, I think one was fundamentally dishonest, but two, I think it crossed a line, desantis said at a press conference. This state is governed by the interests of people of the people of the state of Florida. It is not based on the demands of corporate California corporate executives. They do not run this state, they do not control this state, the governor added. DeSantis signed Florida HB 1557 into law Monday, despite critics who decried the measure as harmful and discriminatory. The legislation bans Florida teachers from discussing LGBTQ topics like sexual orientation or gender identity with students unless they're in fourth grade or higher. Disney released a scathing statement shortly after DeSantis signed the bill, declaring it should have never passed and should have never been signed into law. Our goal as a company is for this law to be repealed by the legislature or struck down in the courts, and we remain committed to supporting the national and state organizations working to achieve that, disney said in a statement. Now the bill was passed. You can say gay in Florida. I just said it. Joseph, would you come here and say gay.

That was pretty good. It was weird that you touched me while saying it. Don't do do that. But why am I reading you that? Why are we flashing back four years ago? Because I'm trying to show you what leadership actually does. So then what happens subsequently? This from the New York Post. Ron DeSantis out to strip Disney's special status over don't say Gay Bill, which the media was just running with the Phra. The gay was not in there. It was about talking about sexuality with kids in third grade or younger. It's completely absurd. And then of course what happened because DeSantis did the right thing and fought the right fight. Well, this was from Clay Travis a couple years back. Total and complete victory for Ron DeSantis over Disney. Woke Disney bends the knee, removes trans character from Animated series They say recognized parents would prefer to discuss certain subjects on their own terms and timelines. Wow. This is what the Florida law said. Huge win. And then what happened? This from N Wokeness Breaking Disney increased spending on Instagram ads by 40% since the company boycotted X last month over over free speech this month we learned that Instagram is a breeding ground for child trafficking and abuse their algorithms, even give predators full access to explicit videos of children. So interesting. So all of this happens. Disney starts caving. Then they decide we're going to cut ads on X because we don't like Elon Musk, but we're going to put ads on Instagram where they're going for all of this gender nonsense. And then what happened? Well, because Ron DeSantis stood up, then Elon stood up. Go.

What I'm trying to illustrate to you is whether you're a politician, whether you're a tech leader, renaissance man, whatever you want to call Elon, whatever you are in your life, if you stand up, it might start reversing the slide. And then, well, this is from polymarket yesterday referring to today breaking Disney CEO Bob Iger to step down from Disney tomorrow. That's right. He's stepping down today. So to wrap this all together, you must be in the fight. There is no way around it. You think you can duck it, you can put your head in the sand, you can act like an ostrich, and eventually you'll just get beheaded. A little bit lower on the neck. You must fight. Don't worry about the media. They're liars and buffoons, and we will keep exposing them. And that's exactly what DeSantis did.

And so we will continue to recognize that in the state of Florida, parents have a fundamental role in the education, health care, and well being of their children. We will not move from that. I don't care what corporate media outlets say. I don't care what Hollywood says. I don't care what big corporations say. Here I stand. I'm not backing down.

And then guess what happened. The entire media machine came. They lied about him, all of those things. Things won his reelection in Florida by a landslide. And then subsequently, you know, the presidential primary thing did not go the way he wanted. But ultimately, that was the best thing for America. We got the best governor here in Florida, and we got Donald Trump back to do all the good things that he's doing. So we have the right people in place in some red states. We have the right people in place at the federal government right now. They need our support. They need, they need. If you have any outlet, you got John Thune's phone number.
