There's a lot, a lot happened this weekend. Sometimes you like to think that the weekend is gonna ease up on stuff and we can do our usual Mondays with mar thing which we will do a little bit. It was just an onslaught of news over the weekend and much of it I would say not good, particularly the stuff out of California. So first, let's just start with an update of this mayoral race. This is so completely and utterly absurd and insane and feels intentionally evil. How about that? Because now it appears with 83% of the vote reported that Spencer Pratt will not even make it to that next round in November. Here is news nation saying that incumbent Karen Bass and now Nithya Raman, she is the mamdami of this thing. She is further bananas lefty than Karen Bass. Well, thanks to mail in ballots that still five, six, seven days later they are counting, she is now in second place and it appears that the two of them will be in the runoff. A major update that just came down for Los Angeles mayor DDHQ projects councilwoman Nithya Raman is advancing to the runoff against incumbent mayor Karen Bass. Former reality Star Spencer Pratt. He didn't make the cut. I mean, that is wild. So as it stands right now, as of that report, there was a difference between Raman and Pratt of about 3,000 votes, and she got a net uptick of 43,000 votes since Tuesday when the ballot closed. Spencer Pratt caught wind of that. He put this up on the X machine. A net swing of more than 43,000 votes since Tuesday. 43,000, huh? Where have I seen that number before? Probably nothing. And of course, what he's referring to right there in the image is from the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority. And listen to this. While the Greater Los Angeles Homeless count has shown decreases in the last two years, in 2025, it's still found that an estimated 72,308 people experienced homelessness on any given night in Los Angeles county, and 43,699 people experienced homelessness on any given night in the city of Los Angeles. I can't comment with any certainty that he's sort of implying that the homeless people, 43,000 votes just showed up for her. 43,000 people on the streets in LA at night. That there's some connection there. I don't know about that. But what I would broadly my bumper sticker on this one is that none of this makes sense. And even if it's legit, which it's Cali. And my strong suspicion is that it's not on top of the fact that you don't have to show an id. So obviously there's a certain amount of fraud that's baked in the fact that they don't have to have the mail in ballots timestamped before the election. In which case, like you could make some argument for mail in ballots, particularly in specific cases, people who are sick, elderly people, et cetera, but that they would have to be in by election day. You could even argue that maybe they should be in the day before election day, so that can all be tallied and then just immediately put with the day of vote. But the fact that all of this goes 4, 5, 6, 7 days later, 83% in now, 6 days later, what it does, more dangerous, in a weird way, more dangerous than the fraud, than the potential fraud, is that no one will trust this. Do you think that people are walking around LA right now going, this makes a hell of a lot of sense and this is really how it should be done. Completely absurd. And now, if you want to see how drastic things have changed since the ballot closed, look at this graph. It shows the total votes through June 6, highlighting Nithya Raman's crazy jump here. So this woman who again she makes Karen Bass look like a moderate, she didn't mind having meth dungeons basically on the same street as schools. She was quite literally pushing against that. She is insane. And suddenly she gets all these mail in ballots. It just doesn't feel right. I don't have the smoking gun here, but at some point it feels like Cali is such a broken system and it is such a one party state for so long that they will do anything they have to do to make sure that the Democrats stay in power. And oh, do you remember this video from two weeks ago where Gavin Newsom basically said, yeah, we're not just gonna give this thing up. The will of the people be damned. But you've spoken about accountability. Do you think Democrats will hold you accountable for standing by this principled neutrality by withholding your endorsement in this non possible scenario where two RUP can take the ticket? Yeah, look, I, my, my focus has been making sure that doesn't happen. And I've exercised not just a focus, but I've exercised through some action efforts to, to encourage that doesn't happen by making my case and, and will continue to make my case. I do not see that scenario taking place. I've said this before, so I'll repeat it and I don't anticipate this need to be the case. But there is a break the glass scenario and there's many people that have a deep understanding of what it would look like if Democrats were locked out. And we're going to do everything to make sure that doesn't happen. I'll leave it then. What? When you're stealing an election, you're not supposed to say it beforehand. Basically in the most literal sense. I've exercised some action to make sure Republicans don't win. That's what he said. And there's a break the glass scenario. Well, did we just have the break the glass scenario on election night? When election night ended, Spencer Pratt was second and he had a nice comfy lead on Nithya Raman. Then you guys appear again. I don't have the smoking gun, but any objective person would be looking at this going, something is not right here. You then allow for your shenanigans or what some might say is the break the glass scenario. And voila. From Tuesday to today, Monday, Nithya Raman now second. So you're gonna have a pretty bad lefty progressive running against a complete lunatic progressive. And by the way, who will win that? My Guess is Nithya Raman will because the base will end up going to her and they're a bunch of psychopaths. Would you like an example on that? I might refer you to New York City, right? New York City had moderate. They're not even moderate, Right. It had Eric Adams. It's the exact same situation actually if you think about it. Eric Adams, lefty, not great, tiny piece of him, not completely insane. I think you would argue that he was probably better than Karen Bass. But then what happened? The base goes all in on Mamdami. He's now the mayor. And that is likely what will happen in la. But again, the bigger issue is here is who believes this is legit, Even if somehow it is legit. Who believes it is legit. I thought this was quite good. From Robbie Starbuck. Spencer Pratt is likely going to be overtaken by far left Nithya Raman today. This graph shows the count on election day through last night. Nithya did this by suddenly winning first in every new ballot drop. North Korean elections have more self respect. Even they'd find it absurd for third to suddenly jump to first place in every ballot drop days after an election. It's just ludicrous. And you look at those numbers, she's exploding like a rocket and Spencer Pratt is dumping out and Karen Bass is basically. Because they knew she was gonna be in it, she's basically leveled. So somehow in every ballot drop, every single ballot drop post election, the third place person, Nithya Raman, magically got all of the votes. What? You might know this Elon Musk guy, he retweeted it and he what I just read to you from Robby Starbuck and he wrote this. The reason ID is banned in California and New York elections is to enable large scale fraud. When you combine no ID and mail in voting fraud is de facto legalized. That's true. It is just true. As you guys know, I've told you this a million times, but my last election that I took part in in California was the recall of Gavin Newsom. I was campaigning with Larry. El got the envelope at my house to do the mail in balloting. It was during the height of COVID and I looked at the ballot. No matter which way you folded it, if you put Larry Elder's name in, it could be seen through the envelope. I wasn't gonna do that. Anyway, I went to vote. I tried to show them my ID and the guy freaked out. All you needed was your name and your address. So you could quite literally be anybody. If you knew where they lived and what their name was. All of that again, just leads to a situation that but it's not tenable over time. The system only works if people believe in it. And I just can't imagine how many people are wandering around LA going, boy, this really does make sense. This seems right, this seems legit and really buttoned up nicely. Now I'd like to contrast that with another place, the Free State of Florida. Because as Cali is in election meltdown Florida, which has the safest and most secure elections. It's a joy to vote here and show your ID and a a paper ballot that goes into a box and it's verified when you walk from where you fill it out to the box itself and someone's with you and all of that stuff. It was an absolute pleasure, it was an honor truly to vote here in California, to vote here in Florida last time. Well, despite all of that, all the good stuff we're doing, we're making it even more secure. Listen to this from Sassafras85 on X I voted for this. Way to go, DeSantis. Starting July 1st, Florida will begin rolling out a major change to driver's licenses and state ID cards. Your citizenship status will now be printed directly on the card. The change is part of HB991, Florida's version of the Save America act, which DeSantis signed in April. Beginning next month, new licenses and renewals will indicate whether the holder is a U.S. citizen or holds another legal immigration status. Current license holders will not need to make a special trip to the dmv, as the change will be applied automatically at their next renewal or replacement. Anyone who becomes a US Citizen can get a free updated card reflecting their new status. The broader law also eliminates student IDs, retirement community IDs, debit cards and public assistance IDs as acceptable forms of voter identification. Candidates running for federal office must now disclose whether they intend to trade stocks while in office, and all candidates must affirm U.S. citizenship and disclose any dual citizenship. The full suite of voter registration and election codes changes. Code changes takes effect January 1, 2027. Though the driver's license provision kicks in next month, critics will say the law will disproportionately burden naturalized citizens and legally present immigrants. While supporters call it common sense modernization of identification standards. Yeah guys, there are ways to do things right and decline is a choice and fraud is a choice and the absurdity of week long elections is a choice. So the place that has already the most secure elections, Florida, is Now streamlining it even more, making it easy for you to get that id, putting your legal status on the id, that's the way it should be done. And the fact that no Democrat wants this, no Democrat's willing to vote for the SAVE act. And I think last we saw it was four Republican senators wouldn't even vote for the SAVE act, it shows you that something is very, very wrong here. Donald Trump, who is not shy when it comes to curious elections, he wrote this on Truth. No way this could have happened. Rigged election. And then what he's retweeting is from Arizona's representative, Abe Hamada, who is a Republican. He says it's clear California is incapable of running free and fair elections consistent with our Constitution that guarantees a Republican form of government for the states. Federalize the election. Hey there, it's Wayfair here, where delivery and setup are as easy as a few taps on your phone. You're relaxing in an old hammock, scrolling Wayfair's app when you spot it, a brand new patio set. Look, that's a debate to be had. Do we need to federalize all these things? Can you leave it up to a place like California that is completely run by one party, where the governor, quite literally, we showed you a video a moment ago where he says he has a break the glass scenario. If it's not a Democrat that's gonna win and he's talking to people behind the scenes, what is he referring to? If there are any journalists out there. I don't know if there's any journalists that exist anymore, but if they do, that's the only question you should be asking Gavin Newsom today. Well, Gav, you said that there was some sort of scenario where no Republican was going to move forward on this. And voila, six days later, Pratt is out. So what was your break the glass scenario? What is it you guys are able to do? And again, even though this is what they do that makes it so toxic, I don't know exactly what they've done here. I don't have any more evidence than you do, but at some point something just looks so. It's like if it walks like A duck. And it sounds like a duck. It's a duck, right? And that's kind of where we're at with this thing. Six days later, 43,000 votes, third place to first place, the guy that they didn't want suddenly disappears. It's a one party state. You guys control the entire apparatus and you don't want to give up power. Does that sound super so crazy? I don't think so. Here's some highlight clips of Trump. He got into it over the weekend with NBC's Kristen Welker. They had a very, very testy interview on a couple topics. Here they are talking about election fraud or potential election fraud in California. There's tremendous evidence. There's nothing but evidence. The election was rigged. It was a dirty election. And it's happening again right now in California. Presented evidence happening right now in California. Right now. It's. Look at, look at what's happening California. That it's. The Republicans are doing well in California. It's. No, they're not. They're dropping fast because it's a rigged election. Let me tell you, it's four days and they aren't even close to coming up. You know why they're doing that? Because they're cheating on the election. There's what? Do you have evidence? Do you think it's appropriate that they have an election and five days later they're nowhere close to picking up state local officials acknowledge they are slow. They're urging. No, they're crooked. They're urging, man, she's not a journalist, she's a lawyer for the Democrats. You know what she kept saying? I just referenced this or I just referred to this, but she kept saying, do you have evidence? So we don't have evidence yet. And I don't know that there will. I don't know that there will be that smoking gun. I don't know. But Trump is right. It's five, six days later. The thing has been flipped on its head. You have a governor who said he would do certain things to make that happen. You have a one party state that will do it. And it's like, what do we do? I don't know. I don't know. But I don't know how California as a state. And we'll get to the gubernatorial side on this too, where Steve Hilton went from first now to second. I don't know how California as a state will have enough trust in its system anymore for people to believe in it. Do we have the presidential election chart? We have it. We're going to get that in one sec. All right, let me throw it at one other thing here and then we'll get back to this for a second. Here's Trump again with Welker talking about how the elections are cooked. And then it, as the kids say, went off the rails. Evidence than ever presented. Let's talk about this. Your elections in this country, we're like a third world country. Your elections are crooked and you have crooked and Meet the Press is crooked and so is ABC and CBS and CNN. But Mr. President, one sided crooked network. So let's call it quits because I've had enough. Thank you, darling. Have a good time. Mr. President, let's please. I traveled all the way to Wisconsin. I've traveled. I know. For an hour on and off in the rain. And I've given you enough time. You ought to straighten out your press because you know what, miss A country can never be great with a dishonest. Listen, we traveled all the way to Wisconsin for this interview. Oh, oh, no. Oh, she traveled to Wisconsin. Nobody wants to go to Wisconsin. She traveled. I like this version of Trump, I really do. And I think this is the obvious what we will get more and more of over these next two and a half years. This version where he's just. I am done with you people. I have exposed so much of how fraudulent you've been from Russia, Russia, Russia and very fine people in Hunter Biden laptop. I have done this before and you guys. And yes, it is Trump's belief and I don't know what the exact truth it is, it is Trump's belief that the Biden election, the 2020 election was stolen. Right. That is Trump's belief. Let me just throw you a chart on this and I would put this up as you decide what you want to think about this. That somehow, that somehow Joe Biden got more votes than Barack Obama did. Those years old Joe Biden that nobody cared about. Right. Like you look at these numbers and that year at the height of COVID and what was it? Mail in ballots. So it feels you can't blame Trump. Do you have evidence? Well, he doesn't have the evidence right in front of him. But does something feel wrong? That at the height of COVID we have that ridiculous election and Joe Biden magically, it's the most voted in election that we've had in modern times. Basically throw back to that. That goes all the way back to what year is that? That's John Kerry back in what, 2004, something like that, right? Yeah, John Kerry in 2004. Right. That's the furthest one back, if I'm not mistaken. Yeah. So in 20 years. Right. Like, come on. Something seems off. And it was mail in ballots that did it for Biden the first time, and then we're watching it happen again. So I think his righteous indignation in this case is righteous. And if you didn't notice, he threw the mic off. He had the little like wireless lav on and then he stepped on it, which I think was just sort of a perfect. I don't know if it was intentional, but it was a perfect chef's kiss. Take a look. We traveled all the way to Wisconsin for this interview. Don't worry, Kristen, you can write it off. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know what's going on here, but I know this cannot work. And I know that good people, at some point, good people will just leave. Like, this will ultimately be the separation point that America is going to struggle with over the next decade or so. You know, I've talked a lot about how I think it'll be that blue cities particularly will be Democrat run and hyper controlled and huge taxes and huge government programs and they'll be sort of dystopian nightmares and most red places will be more rural and less government and you'll have more choice over your life and all that thing. That's one version of the sorting. But at some point, like if you're just the average person in Cali and you're just like, boy, you know, I vote. And everyone I know voted for this Pratt guy and we don't like the way it's going and everybody looks around and sees that the homeless thing and the drugs and the stores that are closed everywhere and the streets that are filled with litter and the homeless encampments and all that stuff, and it never changes. Like, then more people will move and we will just keep going our separate ways and that might just be the future of the country. I thought this was quite good. On ex fugitive Caesar, just a random comment. Put up this picture of Kristen Welker and it says, let me know when a journalist even once interviewed Obama like this, right with her just like angry, angry scowl. And a picture is worth a thousand words. It really is. And Trump, I just think he has had it with these people. So we'll leave that there. We'll talk more about the gubernatorial race and a bunch more in just a second. But let me talk about relief factor. You guys know I love the relief factor. And I played ball yesterday. It was goosh. Okay, let's stick with Callie for a second and then I promise you we'll get away from this stuff. But now it appears that Steve Hilton, who was leading on election night for governor, now he has magically dropped also to, well, he dropped to second place. Pratt is now out at third place. But before we show you that one more time, Gavin Newsom on his little plan. But there is a break the glass scenario and there's many people that have a deep understanding of what it would look like if Democrats were locked out. And we're gonna do everything to make sure that doesn't happen. I'll leave it at that. So again, if you're a journalist out there, what you might wanna ask Gavin today is what is that break the glass scenario that you were talking about to make sure that Democrats win? And what is that deep understanding of what you guys would do? I suspect nobody will ask him those things. That's what I would do. But now here are the updated numbers as they've come in. And yeah, so Xavier becerra, Democrat, about 1.8 million votes. Steve Hilton, just under 1.8 million. So it's a 27 to 25.9 difference billionaire who the socialists supported and also threatened to kill him if he acted like a billionaire. He got 21.5 and that's with 72% of the vote counted. So again, it just days later, Election day. It's one of those things, you know, if you just want to think back, I remember when we did, when I was in maybe fifth grade, we did like a mock election, right? And I remember the parents came in, it was like a parents day thing and they had a voting booth set up that was a real voting booth. And you know, you'd pull the lever and the curtain would open and you could go in. And I remember going in with my dad and we went through all the different people that we were gonna vote for and there were a few people, you know, it was president, let's say, and I don't know, governor or whatever. And then there were a few things we didn't. And they had a card and my dad read to me the card and asked me about the issues and blah, blah, blah. And then you pull the lever and the curtain opens and you walk out and you feel that you've done something. But it all happened on a day. And if you would, if in 1988, if you would have told people, well, actually election day is gonna be election week and things are gonna trade, are gonna change drastically in that week and no one's gonna know what's legit or anything else. Everyone would've said you were crazy. You would have said this is Banana Republic level stuff. You would've said, oh, this is what happens in some South American country where there's some dictator who doesn't really wanna lose. Or this is kind of North Korea. Yeah, Kim jong UN gets 99% of the vote again. Anyway, here is Steve Hilton on how absolutely ridiculous the California situation has been become. Are you saying that you still don't know who is in the race because they're still counting ballots? Well, it'd be lovely if someone could explain how the process works because to most people it seems completely insane. Yes, still counting ballots. There's two things going on here. You've got the late arriving mail ballots. It's allowed to. You're allowed to vote by mail. And as long as you post it by election day, they count it up to seven days after election day. That's next Tuesday. So that's one category. But the bigger category is the fact that you've got still millions of ballots in these vote centers that are sitting there right now in boxes not being counted. This is so profoundly absurd. So you get that. So the mail in ballot gets counted for seven days after election day. That's tomorrow. Election day was last Tuesday. So that in and of itself you're, what you're doing is you're baking in front of, you're baking in the ability or the perception of fraud, that's not good. And even if it's only the perception, that's not good. Because again, if people don't have faith in the system, you don't have a system at all. That's number one. And then there's millions of votes in these boxes. Why couldn't they get to these votes? So it's either that they're fraudulent and in on it and breaking glass, as Gavin Newsom said, or the less cynical version would be they're Democrats and they are just incompetent buffoons who can't do anything. Here's Steve Hilton. It's typical of California. Under Democrat rule, they can't build a bridge, they can't clear the homelessness, they can't run an election properly. Last week I actually put forward a plan to try and accelerate this process by surging people to these vote centers to get a quick result. But look, the most important thing is that actually we're very confident now that we'll be in the top two. There's not really any realistic possibility for the billionaire climate fanatic Tom Steyer to catch up. That means that in November, Californians will have a real choice. Another four years of this insanity that's given us the highest cost of living in the country and all the other problems we see, or a new direction towards common sense, lower taxes, cutting the bloat in our government. That's what I'm offering. And we're going to be able to present that choice to voters now in November. We're very confident of that. Okay, so he said a couple things there. I mean, first off, he's acknowledging, look, these people do nothing, right? So we shouldn't be surprised that they don't do elections. Right? So in some sense that's not saying it's like stolen or fraudulent or anything. It's just you are all incompetent. You have set up systems, whether it's this late mail in, check in or the ballots that have him encountered and the bridges that go nowhere and the railways that go nowhere. Everything you do is pretty awful. So in some sense he's saying what I've tried to say here, which is we don't know exactly what they've done here. But they're just sort of incompetent. And that's not great. Now, it's interesting, he's saying that Tom Steyer, who's now 30, is down by like 4 percentage points beneath him, that it sounds like he'll be out and it'll be the two of them. Now, let's go on the assumption that's right. Well, what happens now if Cali, if nothing gets cleaned up in Cali from now till November? And then in November, it's election Day. And Becerra on Election Day is down by, let's say, one and a half points. And you know you're not going to find the result that night. So at the, everyone goes to sleep at about midnight Pacific Time and they're like, well, Hilton's winning. And then what will likely happen six days later, Becerra will be up by five points because his mail in ballots will come in that much more. Break the glass. You think that's what Gavin Newsom was talking about? It kind of feels that way. Again, that's not smoking gun. I've got the evidence right here. And sir, of the jury, here I am with the evidence. It's not that, but it's just like something is just awful about all of this and it does not have to be this way and shouldn't be this way. Here's a sheriff of San Joaquin, California, talking about just how profoundly absurd the California voting system is. The way the voting system is structured, we see quite a few flaws. You're able to register even if and cast a vote if you don't live in the country. As evident of his brother in Pakistan. I think we have some evidence of two or three other people out of the country that are voted. Is that correct? Yeah, approximately two or three other people out of the country as well as people residing outside of the district. The online voter registration system, it seems to be an honor system. Anybody can put information in there to, to register to vote. All you have to do is click a box and say that you're not lying. And then you'll get an email from the Secretary of State or something in the mail saying thank you for registering to vote. And there you are. Once you're on the voter rolls, anytime an election comes around, guess what? You get mailed a ballot, right? You get mailed something to vote. So we found that a little bit problematic. Okay. You don't even have to be in the country to vote. And there were several people that did that. You don't have to be in the district if you're talking about a local election to vote. There is an online voter system that all you have to do is say, yes, I am me. I can't imagine anyone would take advantage of that. Again, all of these things don't point to some sort of coordinated mass conspiracy other than it's just all these data points that when you start looking at the picture you go, something is really wrong here. I mentioned last week, I personally know someone who left California years ago who happens to live in Florida right now, who got mailed their ballot in Florida. Even though they now have a Florida id, they were asked to mail in a ballot in California. Something is very wrong with all of this. This was going super viral over the weekend and if you want to just like really, if you want to do a little of the dancing with conspiracy stuff right now, check this video out. This is from 16 years ago in 2010 on the then known TV televised mental institution known as MSNBC. Four weeks after the Attorney General election, due to a surge in mail in ballots, a woman named Kamala Harris became Attorney General. Isn't that curious? Four weeks after the November 2nd election, California finally has declared a winner in the Attorney General race. Harris finished so close to her Republican opponent that it took a month to finish counting every vote she won by less than 1 percentage point. Isn't that something like without even doing the full conspiracy on that, did they push her over knowing that eventually they'd move her for Senate? And then putting aside all of that stuff, she got in after a month long election. And of course it's always the Democrats. It's always the Democrats. My buddy Stephen A. I thought had quite an indictment of what's going on in California, knowing that there aren't enough Republicans there. So if any of this stuff is even as close as it is, it's mostly because people are turning on the Dems. A message has been sent. And that message has been sent is very, very simple. If people in a blue state like California are entertaining seriously about putting Republicans in charge gubernatorially and mayorally, could you imagine what other states in this union are contemplating doing? Could you imagine what an indictment that is against Democrats everywhere? Let me tell you something right now. If Hilton wins the gubernatorial race and Pratt wins the mayor's seat in New York, Gavin Newsom has no chance at the presidency in 2028. Okay, just to clean it up for him, he obviously meant Pratt wins the mayoral race in la, not in New York. Now it looks like Pratt will not even be in the race. And who knows what will happen with Hilton? Would it be so they have one more day for those mail in ballots and everything else? Would it shock you if I'm doing this show literally 24 hours from now and the news is just like, well, it turns out that the mail in ballots and the rest of the stuff was counted and yeah, billionaire Tom Steyer, who the socialists want to kill but they supported, he has now taken out Steve Hilton. Would that utterly shock you at this point, knowing what just happened with la? And again, even if that doesn't happen, Pratt's out in LA at this point and if Hilton moves to assume Hilton moves forward, we could end up in the exact same situation in November. Right. Like this is not good for democracy, but you got to give the devil his due. And the Democrats are quite good at destroying things and that seems to be what they are doing. Guys, let's talk about moist lips. Because, you know, for years the skincare industry has sold women overpriced creams filled with ingredients you can't even pronounce. And most of them don't even work. But the Van man company took a completely different approach. Their Pearl Eye cream combines grass fed tallow with wild caught pearl powder, which are two incredibly nutrient dense ingredients that support healthy skin and eye health. I put it on my eyes right before I go to bed with deeply penetrating castor oil. It helps smooth and hydrate the skin around your eyes while supporting collagen production. So it isn't just another eye cream. It's clean, simple skin care made with real ingredients that actually work. I also I seriously love I've had chapped lips since 1984. There was a bad storm in New York and I just got chapped lips then. And even here with the humidity, I often have the chapped lip. I love this stuff. Go to Vanman Shop, Ruben. Use code Reuben for 15% off your first order. That's Vanman Shop, Rubin. Use code RUBIN for 15% off your 1st order. All right, let's pick up another thing. We'll start with something kind of election related again and a bit of a throwback. But we're gonna talk about this CBS 60 Minutes situation. Cause again, it's one of those stories around narrative, right? You may not care if Scott Peli has a job, you may not watch 60 Minutes, but there is something. There's still some cache in mainstream and we all bounce off it whether we like it or not. And there's a whole bunch of change there. So before we do that, let's throw back to an oldie But a goodie. You can probably do it by heart yourself. 20 20, Donald Trump calling out Lesley Stahl on six minutes about Hunter Biden's laptop. You know, this is 60 Minutes. And we can't put on things we can't verify. You won't put it on because it's bad for Biden. We can't put on things we can't verify. Leslie, you know what you told me a long time ago when I asked why you keep saying fake media? You said to me, I say that because I need to discredit you so that when you say that negative things about me, no one will believe I don't have to discredit you. You've discredited yourself. You told me that, Leslie. You've discredited yourself when you say that you're not going to cover Biden. You're going to ask him what flavor ice cream he has. Okay. Instead of why did Hunter get three and a half million dollars from Moscow? Okay, so there's a couple of things here to the backdrop of that. Let me just make sure I get this correct. He or Donald Trump just recently, within the last year or something, won a lawsuit against CBS Paramount because of the way they edited that Kamala Harris video. That was with Lester Holt. And of course, what he was saying about the Hunter Biden laptop was right. Again, why? I'm not a wizard. I don't have a Magic 8 ball. But why is it that when the Hunter Biden laptop stuff was coming out, I was covering it? Something was very odd to me that you couldn't send it in a private direct message on Twitter. New York Post, Twitter account under old Twitter, this is pre. Elon got taken down and it all turned out to be true. I assure you, guys, you probably don't want to see him. There are all sorts of videos and pictures on X now of Hunter Biden doing all sorts of crazy things. Okay? But in any event, what this all led to was about a year ago, Bari Weiss, formerly of the New York Times, who said the place had been completely overtaken by the progressive maniacs, then created the free press. She gets the nod to take over CBS News. She's now running it. And she's a year in and she's starting to clean it up. They have all gone partisan. Lefty. I don't think that. I think you can objectively say that right. Is the New York Times lefty. Is the Washington Post lefty. Abc, NBC, cbs. Are any of them on the right? Are any of them objectively on the right? Could you say that Fox is on the right, obviously, but none of the mainstream outlets, they all go one way and that's because they control the culture, right? So she got the nod to fix it. To fix it so that perhaps people would tune in again and not think that they're a bunch of propagandists. And my hope when she got the job was that if she fixes it a little bit that the other guys might go, you know, boy, maybe the country isn't all a bunch of progressive lunatics. And for no other reason than self preservation, perhaps will tick back to the center a little bit so that people will pay attention to us again. Anyway, she brings in the new executive producer of 60 Minutes, this guy Nick Bilton. They have a meeting with Scott Pelley and a bunch of the employees. Scott Pelley basically throws Bari Weiss under the bus and Nick Bilton under the bus and he gets fired. You're not allowed to, especially in a group, in a room with a whole bunch of other people, undermine your boss. You will pretty much be fired from any job anyway. Scott Pelley is now a martyr. And here he is talking about newsrooms and his situation. When I saw Nick Bilton's email and then saw him reading to my brokenhearted people off his phone, I felt that somebody had to stand up for the broadcast. Not just the broadcast, but the, the people. There are people in that room who go to war zones when they are pregnant. Newsrooms are sort of like the military or the police or the beautiful people at the FDNY down the street. It is a life threatening job in many instances. I got like probably five, six million dollars to sit there. And occasionally I'd take my glasses off and I put one in my mouth and stare this way. And it made it look like I was thinking, nobody's gonna pay me for that. Come on, man. And so why did he get fired? Well, listen to the quote. He's at the meeting, Barry comes in to fix the thing. You may not like it. She's the boss and she brought in a new boss for your specific program. Well, what did you say about her? She is murdering 60 Minutes. She does not love this place. She was brought in to kill it. And that's exactly what she's been doing. Pelly said of CBS News Editor in Chief Bari Weiss. She has no qualifications for her job. So it does not matter what Scott Peli, the journalism he's done in the past, it's. It does not matter what he thinks of all of those people. None of that matters. Someone was brought. You work at a place, right? Like you work at a place if the guy doing the fries at McDonald's starts talking to all the other employees, the guy pushing the slop bucket and everybody, you know, the boss over there was brought in to murder this place. He's going to be fired. If these guys do it to me, they're going to be fired. It has nothing to do with anything other than perhaps Scott Pelley. When she came in, you might have wanted to give her. You might not like some of the changes she's making. That's. That's. That's life, I suppose. But you might want to sit there and stay quiet and push where you can, as opposed to undermining her. You create a situation, she would look like a complete idiot and every executive there would look like a complete idiot if you have one of your hosts allowed to do these things. Anyway, here's Scott Pelley a explaining to us that 60 Minutes was never left wing in the first place. What was the feeling about that particular opening salvo to the team? Oh, she, I am told, said something to the effect of, why do you think the country thinks you're biased? But she didn't offer any kind of a metric. You know, what's your metric? Why do you think so? Do you have a poll? Is there market research? What are you talking about? Because we certainly didn't believe that. Okay, well, I just asked the guys. We showed a poll a couple days ago about trust in mainstream media. We'll pull that up in just a second. But again, dude, even if you disagree with her, what you would want to do. She didn't walk. I just have no doubt. You know, I've had my issues with Barry over the years. I know. Sometimes I think she's good, sometimes not. Okay, fine. It doesn't matter. I don't work for her. But you work for her. So what you might want to do is if she comes in and she's changing some things, you might want to play ball as long as you can and register your complaints. If you're being told to lie on air, let's say, or fabricate a story or whatever, you can register that with hr, like you create a case. But once you go in, she was brought in to kill this place. You gotta go. Do we have that? Yeah. Look at this. We showed you this last week. Americans trust in mass media, and that would include 60 Minutes and CBS News 1972-2025. I mean, look at those numbers. Absolutely dumping out. The question was asked in general, how Much trust and confidence do you have in mass media such as newspapers, TV and radio when it comes to reporting the news fully, accurately and fairly? A great deal, a fair amount, not very much or none at all. And you can see clearly people do not trust mainstream media. You're part of mainstream media. Barry could have just pulled up her phone and said, you know, when we had Lesley Stahl interview Donald Trump and she was running cover for the Hunter Biden laptop story, that was a real problem and it did so much damage to this freaking institution, as you like to call it, that it's somewhat irreparable. Anyway, here's Trump on Peli. I think Scott Pelley's got his own problems. He's terrible. Look, Scott Pelley's a stiff and he's afraid and he's part of this, you know, gang of crooked, stupid people that don't care about our country. Yeah, I don't know, I guess fully how Trump saw all this years ago and he woke so many of us up to it. I think most people, well, it's what I always say, it's like they could have been pretty bad, but you couldn't be whole sell bad. Most people live their lives, pay attention to this stuff, don't pay attention. They don't want to get lost in a lot of this, in the minutia of this. And people have real things to deal about in their day to day. So the mainstream media could have been really bad, but the mainstream media lied about so much with the punctuation being Covid. I think that was the straw that finally broke the camel's back for everybody. And the twisted part is you guys have created a much worse situation now because now nobody trusts you. Huge swaths of people have moved over to the online world and the online world, and I say this with humility or irony, I suppose in some sense the online world can only be trusted as far as you trust someone that you're watching and you have to get a track record on them. And a lot of the people are total propagandists and awful, particularly the ones that came from mainstream media like Tucker Carlson and Megyn Kelly. So the whole information ecosystem is extremely poisoned right now. And if you'd look a perfect example of that, here's Don Lemon. Now, of course, as you know, Don Lemon, very similar to Scott Peli was just paid to be in that chair. I think he was on at 8 or 9, I think he was 9pm CNN for all those years. A certain amount of people tune in no matter what you could have Don Lemon sitting there. You could have Fozzie the Bear or you could have give me somebody that's culturally relevant. Alfred, Honestly, I'd watch. If Alf was doing the news, I would watch the news. But the point is, the chair is just worth something. The slot, the time slot is worth something. Don Lemon then was a terrible, terrible quote unquote journalist while he was there. He gets fired and then of course, what happens? You get fired from cnn, you end up as an Ms. Now contributor. Here's Don Lemon on Scott Pelley on Ms. Ms. Now, the irony in all this is Jim mentioned. I forgot Barry Weiss, she, she owned it, you know, a journalistic outlet called the Free Press. Right? And when you think about what is that, the irony in that? But look, I think that Jim is right in this moment. This is a very dangerous moment. We should all be a Scott Pelley. Scott Pelley should be an example to us. We should all support him. His story is our story. If we lose the first amendment, the freedom of the press, it is over. Today we'll attempt a feat once thought impossible. Overcoming high interest credit card debt. It requires merely one thing. A SOFI personal loan. With it, you could save big on interest charges by consolidating into one low fixed rate monthly payment. Defy high interest debt with a SOFI personal loan. Visit sofi.com stuck to learn more. Loans originated by Sofi Bank NA member FDIC terms and conditions apply. NMLS 696891 I'm Don Lemon. Meaningless phrase, meaningless phrase, meaningless phrase. We're all Scott Pelley. His problem is our problem. He pees three times at night. That's my fault. Like, come on, man. It's just all terrible. It's all terrible and nothing. Oh, and it's also funny because did you note there were three boxes there? The other guy, Jim Acosta, is another guy that got fired from CNN for being a terrible journalist. And if you get fired from CNN for being a terrible journalist, you end up on Ms. Now, it's like the minor league for morons. Go. As Don was saying, make no mistake, they don't care about the ratings. They don't care about making money. This is an ideological and partisan political project on the part of the Ellisons, the Trump friendly Ellison who now control Paramount, who by the way, are trying to take control of WBD and CNN and turn it into this giant media conglomerate that will essentially act like a state media organization in support of Donald Trump. Jim, Jim, get a mirror. You guys have completely controlled the media. The left has completely controlled the media and every Republican is a racist and a bigot and all of the awful things. And Trump derangement syndrome. And you've glazed everyone on the left. So your implication, I mean, it's just nonsense that Bari Weiss, a lifelong liberal from the New York Times, she came in to make CBS more of a Trump friendly outfit. Like, it's just absurd. Maybe she came in to make it a little more centrist. I think you can agree with that. And also to increase its ratings, perhaps by being a little more truthful. Those would be things that would work. But if for it's the exact same thing, guys, the late night comedy shows, right? You have Stephen Colbert, you had Stephen Colbert, you have Jimmy Kimmel, you have Fallon, you have. Who's the other loser on. No one even knows his name. That guy. No, who's the guy on before Fallon or after? No, after Fallon. The guy that nobody watches. We never know. John Oliver. No. NBC. Seth Green, Seth Meyers. Right. Nobody even cares about these people. But the point is they all have the exact same political outlook. So what you, what you might want to do if you were a wizard, would put on somebody with a different political outlook and see what happened. And oh, you know what happened. Fox did just that. They put on Greg Gutfeld at night and he's got freaking two writers. And I just did the show on Friday. They have the worst craft services table you can possibly imagine. This thing's not blowing the budget out. No offense, Greg, I love you and I love doing the show. And Greg is an absolute joy as a host and gives you room to do all those things. But the magic of Greg's show is not that it's the most bells and whistles and everything else. The magic of the show is that he's just the counterpoint. So people are tuning in. Okay. There's another guy who's been a counterpoint for a while and it's only because the liberals went so insane, which of course is Bill Maher. And it is time for Mondays with Bill Maher. Mondays with Maher. Here he is explaining to dingbat Connecticut senator Democrat Chris Murphy that perhaps there's been something a little rotten at 60 minutes for a while. What do you think of the shakeup at 60 Minutes? Big controversy. Yeah. I mean, listen, you're watching a censorship state be created. Trump is using the powers that he has available as president United States to install only friendly ownership at the big media companies. He's using regulatory powers to punish people who oppose. That's a big charge. That you just made that 60 Minutes itself and CBS itself is now completely MAGA. I don't see it that way. It's completely MAGA. Well, that's kind of what you said. But what the allegation is is that they are killing stories that would be embarrassing for the president. So it's hard to know what you're missing in a censorship environment. But I've seen ones that are not very favorable to the president. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. I don't know if I would have noticed any difference if I hadn't been reading about it. This is where, Bill, I think as time continues to go on, we'll just find more and more sane people on the right. And Goldman, he doesn't even know what he's talking. Wait, Goldman, Is that his name? Chris Murphy. Sorry. They're all interchangeable, all of them. I have flat hair and I'm a white guy. I'm a Democrat and a pandering buffoon. That's me. Doesn't matter. Is my name Dan Goldman or Chris Murphy? Same difference. Chris Murphy. It's like, dude, again, why didn't you say anything when they were completely and obviously partisan left? That is the issue. It's not that you guys want places of journalism where people are free to do. If you wanted places of journalism where people are free to do journalism, then Leslie Stahl, perhaps in that Donald Trump interview, might have paused it for a second and said, Mr. President, you're making some serious allegations here. Guys, can anyone give me some insight on the Hunter Biden laptop story? And then that might have been an act of journalism. She went out of her way to act as a lawyer, in essence, for the Biden family and the Democrat Party. But let's connect all this to this Graham Platner story, because this guy out in Maine, everything about him seems fraudulent. He's like Bernie on steroids. He's had a Nazi tattoo for 20 years that he claims he didn't know was a Nazi tattoo. Now, there's a whole bunch of stuff coming out about some of his previous relations and some apps he's been on and a bunch more. And it's putting the Democrats in an interesting position because as I often point out, the Democrats only care about power. Right? There is no sensible policy there. Look at Gavin Newsom. We played you the video twice. Gavin Newsom. Basically, I care about power, so I will make sure that we will remain in power. So the Democrats are really up against one on this one, because now there's a whole Bunch of of crap coming out about this guy. They called us all Nazis for 10 years, then backed the guy with a Nazi tattoo. Turns out the Nazi isn't so friendly to women. I can't believe it. And they're in a tough bind because they don't know what to do. If they get rid of him. It's not throwing him under the bus. If they get rid of the guy, they gotta start over, and then they're really behind the eight ball. So listen to this from cbs. For the second time this week, Democratic Senate candidate Graham Platner is facing another major conflict controversy just days ahead of the main primary he's poised to win. On Thursday, the New York Times reported allegations of Platner's unsettling behavior towards women he dated, including one claim that he was physically abusive, which Platner denies. According to the Times, Platner's then girlfriend, Lindsay Fifeld, said that while they were dating a decade ago, he regularly grabbed her by the shoulders, sometimes hard enough to leave marks. During one argument, he twisted her arm behind her back, shoved her into a bedroom and held the door closed. Now, I have a feeling that no matter what happens here, he probably won't hurt him because all they want is power and they don't really care about women. Like if you were a Democrat and five years ago, or what was it, seven years ago, MeToo and believe all women, they never believed any of that. What they thought it would do was hurt people that they wanted to hurt. Right. But now they have one of their guys. And if you by your rules. I never believed in belief all women. It's an absurd thing to say. It's like saying belief all men. It just makes no sense. You have to believe people on their merits and their track record and with proof. Right. But you guys are the ones that push this on all of us. And now there are multiple women coming out saying this guy was physical towards them, and you guys are pretending it didn't happen. So it was like everything else, whether it's BLM or the Hamas protests. Now everything that you people do is a lie in the quest for power. Here's a edit of Graham Platner saying that there won't be any new controversies and, well, life, you know, I'm wondering, are there other skeletons from your past that still may emerge in this race? No. But the GOP is going to dig up everything and more that they can. Yeah. And probably lie at some point. Is there something new you want to get ahead of? No. People have to take you at Your word that that's true and that there's nothing else, Is that what you are saying? Yes. Well, this is very interesting because he kept saying there was nothing new. Nothing new. Then this story drops multiple women. Something seems weird here. Again, why is it that they even said the best guy to put up in Maine would be a guy with a Nazi tattoo? Even if the argument was, all right, we're gonna put up a guy with a Nazi tattoo, how stupid would he have to be to not know what the tattoo was like? That's the claim. Not only does he have a Nazi tattoo, he's obviously a moron who's never seen a Nazi movie. Right. To see that, you would have the SS insignia on the hats. Sometimes it's on the lapel. You know, these guys, they were all gay. They would put it they liked a little. They were like people. They were like workers at Fridays. You know, just, oh, I have a little Nazi tattoo here. And here's Scott Jennings explaining the absurdity of this whole person. Well, as far as I know, of all the names you just mentioned, only one person had a Nazi tattoo and has chosen to lie about it, and that's Graham Platner. I mean, he roots for American military deaths. He's mocking rape victims. He demeans rural Americans. He's been abusive to women. I mean, this is what Democrats are signing off on. This is their most celebrated Senate candidate in the country right now. Today we'll attempt a feat once thought impossible. Overcoming high interest credit card debt. It requires merely one thing. A Sofi personal loan. With it, you could save big on interest charges by consolidating into one loan. Fixed rate monthly payment defy high interest debt with a Sofi personal loan. Visit sofi.com stunt to learn more. Loans originated by Sofi Bank NA member FDIC terms and conditions apply. NMLS 696891. Right. Why is it you guys are so attached to him? Well, you went all in and now you just care about power. But if you cared about any of your principles. I'm not talking about my principles. It was your principles. That was me too. It was your principles. That was believe all women. And then women come out and say, oh, he would hold me by the shoulders and I'd have wounds and he was verbally abusive and all this stuff. And you guys simply don't care. Here's an example of that. Ro Khanna, who for a while was trying to pretend he was a moderate but has become every one of the worst things that progressives are. Here he is he believes in respecting women. But gosh darn it, I'm going to campaign for Graham Platner. Now, no one should make excuses for his past relationships, some of which were toxic and volatile. And no one on our side should attack the women who came forward. You know why? Because Democrats believe in respecting the equality and the dignity of women, and we always will. And we reject unequivocally misogyny. We reject it, but you know who else rejects it? Graham Platner. No, you don't reject it, you fraudulent scumbag. And that's what you are. You don't reject it. Because when women come out and say things, your rules. When women come out and say things about the guy that you're literally campaigning, standing at a podium for supporting you don't. We respect. We're Democrats, so we respect them. You don't respect them. You don't respect them at all. And then I love, before that, he says, don't attack the women. Well, they went from believe all women to don't attack the women. Do you see how insane this is? So anything that they have to do to get power, they will do. Here's Texas Representative Veronica Escobar saying exactly that. It does not matter what this guy has done. He's a Democrat. We support him. I'll start with you because he's a member of your party. Does that concern you? Of course. Of course it concerns me. But I will also say what concerns me, even at an even greater level, is Susan Collins getting reelected. Time someone accused Donald Trump of rape. That network paid $15 million in a defamation. He was guilty by a job. I'd be real careful about telling that lie. It is incredible how much cover and comfort they give to a convicted felon and to someone who's, who's been an adjudicated case of. And again and again, I just want to make clear here, this was a civil case. It was not a criminal case. So he wasn't found guilty. Holy sheep shit. Dana Bash did something right. I can't believe it. You know, anything can happen in life. Yes. He was not convicted by a group of his peers for rape. He was not. Fact. The fact that she thinks that, whether she thinks it or she thought, who knows? You never know what these people do. They think they can just get away with it or do they actually believe it? But here, as you know from December 24th from Fox, a US appellate court upholds Trump verdict in E. John Carroll defamation case. A Trump spokesman denounced the decision as part of a political weaponization of our justice system. So he was found guilty in a civil trial of defamation. He was not found guilty in a criminal trial of rape. So she just completely lied. But the point is, what she's saying is it doesn't matter whether she's lying or not. Doesn't matter whether Platner grabbed this woman. It doesn't matter if he actually has Nazi leanings. It doesn't matter if he was on an app for underage kids to hook up or any of these. It does not matter. Because Susan Collins is a Republican and she's scary. She's scary. Occasionally, though, the Democrats who literally lie about absolutely everything with no exceptions, occasionally they say something true, really, by accident. And here is James Carville, who was once, I mean, this guy was once the, really the thought leader of the Democrat Party. You know, it was Bill Clinton and Carville was his man underneath that. And here he is fully admitting, yeah, if a Republican had a Nazi tattoo, he wouldn't be so nice about it. But what would you say to a Republican who says, james, if there was a Republican combat veteran who had a Nazi tattoo, a Totenkopf tattoo, you wouldn't be so forgiving. What would you say to that? That's true. I would say you're exactly right. If that person was a four time combat veteran, I'd say I'd never vote for him. Or maybe it's her. Now we have women in combat, but, you know, you can't. But I wouldn't vote. I wouldn't vote. I think the greatest danger we face right now is some Donald Trump. You get it? The ends justify their means. Nothing they have ever said about women or believing women or anything else is true. And he flat out admits it is. If a republic. Well, he'd never vote for a Republican, obviously. But in essence, what he's saying is if a Republican did the exact same thing that Platner has done, he would be trying to destroy him for that. And instead he's supporting him. And why is he supporting him? Because he has Trump Derangement Syndrome. And if you want to see a video that perfectly encapsulates Trump Derangement syndrome, how progressives have completely lost their mind, how reality has been twisted, how up, up is down, left is right, cats are dogs, et cetera. Here is a woman being asked about Platner's Nazi tattoo. This is incredible. Watch this. Totenko tattoo. The Nazi tattoo. How do you kind of. Somebody said that they talked to somebody who had seen one of those or wore one of those, and it was Silver. And it didn't even occur to him that it was the same thing. I think people are making as much of it as they can because they don't have a lot of substance around anything else. And if they did, we'd hear about it. Believe me. They are trolling for dirt. What if he has like a Israeli flag tattoo or something? Would that be a deal breaker for me? Yeah, honestly. Yeah, that would be Israeli. Yeah. Because I don't support Jim side and he doesn't either. And that that would show that he was being inconsistent and he's been very consistent about this. Straight across the board. That may be. I mean, you know when I say like this is the clip of the year or something like that. Brain broken witch, she thinks that the Israeli flag tattoo is worse than the Nazi tattoo. The Nazis, which killed 6 million Jews, how many people total died in World War II? I think it's about 20 million overall. You know, in Gaza before October 7th, there were 2.2 million people. We just checked. There are about 2.1 million people. Under 100,000 people died. Probably at least 60% of them were Hamas fighters. 85 million people died in World War II. Jesus. I was really off on that. If they would have given up the hostages. It was a country trying to save its people who were brought underground into the most unimaginably evil medieval torture tunnels that you can possibly imagine. And the second they got their people back, thanks to Donald Trump, the war ended. Remember that? Remember that? It was the only genocide in history where the people who were purportedly being genocide were the ones that were extending the genocide. Only genocide in history where the Arab brothers of the Palestinians, like the Egyptians wouldn't open up the door and everything else. But it just goes to show how Brain broken. Oh, on top of the fact. Does she not know what the Nazis did? The Israelis support genocide. Completely absurd. If the Israelis wanted genocide, they could have done it on October 8th. Might have saved them a hell of a lot of pain actually. And they would have had to make some pretty horrible decisions related to their own people. But I think you can make a military argument for having gone in way harder in the first week. That's a sidebar on all the this. But the Israelis want a genocide and the Nazi guy with the Nazi. Oh, no, the Nazis had nothing to do with genocide. Like brain broken ridiculous drivel. As long as we're talking about Israel, there are some updates on the Iran war which got a little bit hot as of last night. Before we get into the get you caught up on the last 12 hours or so, here's Trump. One more with Chris and Welker on the ceasefire negotiations and where Iran is at with, with or without the nuclear situation. How close are you to making a deal? Are we talking about days, weeks, months? Mr. President, we're close. We have a couple of points. They don't even seem like big points. They've conceded the fact that they will not have nuclear weapons. We had a clause in there that we will not develop nuclear weapons. And everybody was very happy with it except me. And I said, well, what happens if they not develop, but they go out and purchase? They acquire. I want to put the word, if they buy or purchase or acquire, you know, you've got to have that in there, too, because that's not developing. So they don't have the right to develop or purchase, acquire or buy. Have they pushed back against that? Is that one of the sticking points? A little bit. And then they didn't. Okay, so there's Trump again. This is yesterday morning. There's Trump basically saying, we're getting close. It's not that they just can't build them. I wanted to add some stipulations. Okay. There's some back and forth. And then last night, somewhat out of nowhere, because the ceasefire pretty much has been holding, there's been fighting between Israel and Lebanon, but it's not even Lebanon. It's Hezbollah, which is running Lebanon, a terrorist organization that's running Lebanon that's funded by the irgc. But the Iran, Israel, an American portion of the war had wrapped up until last night when Iran decided to shoot a ballistic missile at northern Israel. Here's Trey Inkst on Trump's message. After Iran did that, I just got off the phone with President Trump to get his reaction to the ongoing missile attack. As I was speaking with the president, out the window, I could see some of these incoming missiles headed toward the northern part of this country. The IDF says they were able to shoot down the majority of the incoming fire, but the president telling Fox News, it's certainly not going to help negotiations. I asked him if he had a message for the Iranian regime. He said, what I would suggest to Iran, you've shot your missiles. That's enough. Get back to the table and make a deal. President Trump indicated in our conversation that negotiations with Iran were progressing toward a possible agreement as early as Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday of this coming week. All right, so you have to question what Iran's angle here is. Right. So if the negotiations are happening, did they feel, oh, we could Throw a couple rockets in, knowing Israel has to respond as any sovereign nation, you throw rockets into their nation, they're going to fire rockets back at you. Was there hope? Okay, we're getting close on the negotiations. We don't really like the negotiations. Let's get back to the war and drag Trump back into that because he doesn't want, you know, he wants this thing to wrap up cleanly. I don't know that any more than you do, but it's like you just have to think, like, what are they trying to do? Here's a bit more on Trump' swhat appears to be Trump's position right now. This is from the Financial Times. Trump, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will have no choice but to accept whatever deal the US Negotiates with Iran, Trump said. Because the US President calls the shots, he won't have any choice. Trump told the Foreign Financial Times in a telephone interview. I call the shots. I call all the shots. He doesn't call the shots. Trump spoke shortly after Iran launched a salvo of ballistic missiles at Israel in the most serious breach of the ceasefire that was struck in early April. The US President separately told Fox News that he would instruct Netanyahu to refrain from taking retaliatory action against Iran, a position at odds with statements from the Israeli military. That's an interesting quote from Trump because you have these ding dong, the Tucker woke, right? People who are always telling you that Bibi is running Trump when it's obvious at the end of the day, if Trump says we are not gonna do anything, they ain't gonna do it. Now, some of this could be posturing, right? Some of this could be Trump and Bibi working on the DL. Like, you do what you gotta do. I'll say something publicly. We just don't know exactly. But Israel did as again, any sovereign nation, you'd have to. Canada shot rockets to Detroit. What would we do? Mexico shot rockets to El Paso. What would we do if we shot rockets into Mexico? You do every version of this. Every nation exists with the, I would say the sacred contract that it must defend its citizens. This from the Israeli Defense Forces. The Israeli Air Force struck military targets belonging to the Iranian terror regime in western and central Iran a short while ago. And we'll get you basically caught up here. This from breaking911 explosions are now being reported in the Iranian capital of Tehran. That was last night. And then Trump after a little after this tit for tat, Trump, both sides, Israel and Iran are looking to do an immediate ceasefire. Final Negotiations on peace are proceeding subject to ignorance or stupidity getting in the way. The blockade will remain in place in full force and effect until a final deal is reached. Things should move quickly. Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DONALD J. Trump and then one more to really put a button on where we are at right now. This from the Qabisi letter breaking Iran announces that it is halting its military operations against Israel after several attacks by both sides. Details include the IRGC warned that any further strikes by Israel in Iran or Lebanon would trigger a far stronger and more forceful response. The move comes hours after President Trump said Israel and Iran must immediately stop shooting. Trump announced that both sides, Israel and Iran, are looking to do an immediate cease fire. So the point on all of this is it seems to me that Trump will be able to get the Israelis and Iranians to pretty much stop shooting at each other. The real issue is Hezbollah and Lebanon because Israel has 300,000 citizens that have evacuated the north and they've been under rocket fire since October 8th. The border was safe. Israel knew they were putting a whole bunch of rockets on the other side, but nothing was going on there. There was no territorial argument or anything else until October 8th. So Israel has to deal with that just like any other country would. So I think it seems to me that they're going to disconnect. Israel will deal with with Hezbollah and hopefully the Iran thing will calm down. But let's bring the show sort of full circle and get to something that I think maybe is not maybe something that is absolutely more important than whether you agree with this decision or that tax policy or this or that or other things, which is that as we roll into this 250, I keep saying there's going to be a burst of patriotism in this country country. And the silver lining to what the Democrats are doing right now is that they've gone so off the rails that I don't think it works for most nominal Americans. And I mean nominal in the best sense. Like just the guy that doesn't really care about all this stuff that's just trying to live his life. They see the communism, they see the jihad, they see the anti Americanism, they see all the stuff and they just don't like it. So they're going down that path. And the rest of us just have to figure out a way to put some policy agreements aside and figure out what a prosperous future for this country is and be proud of this country. And what's interesting, although not surprising, is there is a massive pride gap in America right now when it comes to Republicans and Democrats. Here's Bill Maher covering that. What about the bigger issue? Bigger issue of. There is a. It's pride month, but a different kind of pride. Pride in the country. There's a big pride gap. Like 38% of Americans report feeling proud. That's not a lot. But it's only 18% Democrats, 68% Republicans. Should Democrats feel prouder of this country and show it, both really and politically? I mean, you're talking to two people who've served their country for most of their careers. So I care deeply. I'm not talking about you. I'm talking about. I care deeply about our country and I'm very proud of it. But I also think that we're in a difficult spot and we need to do better. Thank you for that nothing statement there. Okay, so first off, the overall number. Only 38% of Americans, according to this study, are proud of America. Let's say the poll is really off and it's actually. Let's throw in another 20% and it's 58%. That would be way too low. Everyone that lives in this country should be. No matter. I almost did it. I almost dropped the F bomb, but I didn't. Everyone that lives in this country, whether you like Trump or don't like Trump or anything else, should be deeply proud of our history and of our founding and of our freedoms and all of those things. Right. So 38% is embarrassing. And if it was 20 points higher, it would still be too low. 18% of Democrats. So that means that. But more than four out of five Democrats that you will meet on the street are not proud of this country. That is a huge problem that is bigger than the political machinations of the day. Right. That is an existential problem for the survival of the nation. If a generation and another generation goes by. Right. That's that. And 68% of Republicans. That actually seems low. I don't know who. Who would be a Republican. Right. No. I guess it's like the Tucker crew would not be proud of America or something like that. But at least 68% is doable. Right? Like you could function as a society. Basically, 7 out of 10 of Americans think that we're pretty decent. You can kind of make that work. You'd like it to be nine out of ten. Right. But you can basically make that work. You can't make it work over time with 38% overall and one political party that has 18%. And that might be a little high to. To be quite honest, I like how the two of them were like, well, we're Democrats and we're okay. Our idea. You go to a lot of empty parties, don't you? All right, that is our program for today.
