All right, here I am in the Cannon Building in D.C. and what is that smell? First to ask the Ukrainians to help them cheat an election. All right, people, we are Live in Washington, D.C. that's right, the swamp as it's being drained. I am Dave Rubin. This is the Rubin Report. And yes, yesterday I walked through the metal detectors, and they let me wander around the Capitol, and we shot all sorts of weird, funny things with the cast of characters. It's like entering the Muppet Show. That really is what it's like when you wander around these halls and you see all these people that you talk about and you make fun of, some of whom you like. We had good meetings yesterday with Ted Cruz and a couple other people. There is a lot going on in this city right now. And I can tell you guys that the shift that I talked about yesterday, you know, I'm talking about a sort of cultural shift and a political shift that we're seeing right now. There's a. There's a new transparency in government. The right people are fighting back. The machine is. Is coming at us with everything it's got. And we'll get to. That's what much of today's show is going to be about. But I think the shift also that I'm seeing here is that it's exciting to be here in D.C. again. You know, this should be a place that everyone wants to come to, that's exciting and thriving and that you come to and you can be proud of your country and everything else. And as a kid, I mean, we took. I grew up in New York, but we would take trips to D.C. all the time with my family and school trips and everything else. And to come here and see these amazing monuments and buildings and to see the seat of American power, not in a scary way, but in a positive way. It should be a really cool place to be. And I can tell you that during the last four years of the administration, I came here many times. It was also during COVID It was a nightmare here. It was an absolute nightmare. And it was desolate, and there were homeless people everywhere. And it's come back. It really. It's been exciting to be out. So, anyway, I'm feeling very good about our DC Trip so far and what's going on in the government and everything else. Also, I should mention before we start that we have a Democrat coming on the show today. I cannot believe it, but Ro Khanna, Congressman from Palo Alto. Yes, Communist California. We finally got a Democrat. We're going to shoot that right after today's. Show, and I'm very excited because we reach out to Democrats all the time and they rarely get back to us. And by rarely I mean pretty much never. And so we're going to get into it and see what happens. In any event, there is a ton going on, so let's, let's just dive right into it. The main thing at the moment is that the system, the machine, whatever you want to call it, it is not happy that Donald Trump in, you know, basically three weeks, almost a month at this point, is doing the very things that he set out to do, and he's doing them with the very people he said he was going to do it. And the machine doesn't like that very much. So check this out from Kyle Becker Breaking Obama Judge and bear with me on the reading here for just a moment. Obama Judge blocks Trump's administration's Freeze on Federal Funding In a sweeping decision, a federal judge has blocked the Trump administration from freezing any federal funding, dealing a significant legal blow to the White House's efforts to withhold funds that are suspected of waste, fraud and abuse of taxpayer money. Chief John Chief Judge John J. McConnell of the U.S. district Court for the District of Rhode island issued the ruling reinforcing a temporary restraining order previously placed on the administration. The court found that the government had continued to freeze funds despite prior legal orders prompting the judge to mandate immediate compliance. The ruling states that all orders and judgments of courts must be complied with promptly and warns that ignoring the order risks contempt charges. The Trump administration had attempted to justify the broad funding freeze as an effort to root out fraud, but the court ruled that such an expansive pause exceeded lawful authority and violated the TRO. Judge McConnell's order requires the Trump administration to immediately restore all frozen funding during the pendency of the tro. Cease any federal funding pause under the directive until a ruling on preliminary injunction is made. Take all necessary steps to ensure the TRO is fully implemented without delay. Adhere to the TRO's plain text preventing any funding pauses linked to the Office of Management and Budgets directives or the president's 2025 executive orders. Resume funding of institutes and agencies affected, including programs funded under the Inflation Reduction act and the Infrastructure Improvement and Jobs Act. The decision follows a legal challenge from 22 Democrat leaning states and the District of Columbia, which sued the Trump administration over its broad suspicion suspension of federal disimbursements. The lawsuit, filed in late January, argued that the administration was improperly halting funds that had been duly appropriated by Congress. We're almost there, guys. I promise. Last month, Judge McConnell issued a temporary restraining order prohibiting the administration from withholding funds while the lawsuit proceeded. The decision marks a critical setback for President Trump's broader efforts to reshape government spending policies, particularly regarding states and programs that conflict with his administration's agenda. Legal experts suggest that the Trump administration administration's only remaining option is to seek mandanimous relief, an extraordinary legal measure to overrule the district court's decision. The Trump administration has not yet announced its next legal steps. Okay, so I wanted to read all of you, read all of that to you, because although it was a bit wordy, it's quite technical what's going on here. But the short, the tldr, the too long, don't read version of that is that Trump is doing exactly what he said, right? They are doing an audit of virtually all of the government agencies. And we are now finding, and it's not just this judge, we are finding random judges throughout the country, who I would argue are more activists than judges, who are trying to stop him from opening up the books. That's all that's going on here. They're doing a pause on certain funding while they uncover the fraud and the negligence and all of the other stuff that we are now seeing with U.S. aid, USAID and so much more. That's it. Certain judges don't like it. So there is now a tension, you might say, between the executive branch, that's the president, and the judicial branch, that is the courts. Now, Elon Musk, who, of course is leading an awful lot of the charge on finding this fraud, he tweeted this. What happens is that those who want the government corruption and waste to continue will shop around the country for an activist judge to do their bidding. It is an undemocratic. It is undemocratic and an unconstitutional power grab by a tiny group of radical leftists. Now, okay, so you might say, well, wait a minute. You're watching this and you're going, I'm not a lawyer and Dave's not a lawyer and Elon's not a lawyer. Maybe this judge does know what he's doing and is. And he's a judge, so why would he be an activist? Well, Kyle Becker found this. This is the radical Rhode island judge who's trying to blotch Doges, block Doge's funding, freeze. It all makes perfect sense now. And could we just go back to that image for just a second? We're going to pull back that image right there. And as you can see, this judge, these Aren't. These aren't crazy numbers that he threw in there, but he's obviously a Democrat. He donated two and a half thousand to Biden's 2007 presidential campaign. Two thousand bucks to Hillary Clinton, and you can see some other monies. They're all 2 billion Democrats. So it's like if you wanted people to think that you weren't an activist, you haven't done a very good job of that. JD Vance tweeted this. And this, this really gets to the fight that we're in. Phoenix. Can you scroll just a bit for me? If a judge tried to tell a general how to conduct a military operation, that would be illegal. If a judge tried to command the attorney general and how to use her discretion as a prosecutor, that's also illegal. Judges aren't allowed to control the executive's legitimate power. So, look, we are for sure in a fight right now. Donald Trump. And I think it's obvious what side of this I'm on and likely what side you are on. All that is happening right now. And we will have some legal experts on to discuss this further, because this isn't going anywhere. They're going to find every activist judge they can to stop Trump at every turn that they can try to stop him. But all that's happening here is the government. The President of the United States who won an election is now doing his job. He's looking at the agencies, he's looking at where our money is spent. This is exactly what he ran on. Right? We never get this level of transparency in government. We never get people in government who say something and then actually start doing it. And it happens to be related to where your money goes. You know, it's we the people. It's our cash that they've taken for us and used for giant slush funds they've used for radical anti American causes they've sent overseas, and a whole bunch more. It is not unconstitutional for us to see what our government is doing. But there is a major fight, a Bruin. We'll have more on that on the other side. But first, Hillsdale College. Okay, so as Donald Trump goes in and once again does the stuff he, he said he was going to do, I know it's quite jarring for people. The guy that he's tasked to do much of this cleanup is Elon Musk. And generally, at least for the last four decades, probably since the space race, we don't get the best of the best in government. We don't. People go into the private sector where you have more chance of making money and you can build things on your own and there's less bureaucracy and everything else. The people that go into government jobs, not always, but largely are people who are just going for a job that they'll get a little raise and they can basically never get fired. Right. So we, and that's what creates the deep state, this permanent thing that never goes anywhere and isn't particularly good or functional or financially sensible or anything else. But as Trump has sent Elon in to do all this, there's an interesting thing that's happening. We covered it pretty extensively yesterday, which is that much of the fire that is normally aimed at Trump, and this is a guy who takes a lot of fire literally and figuratively, is now being aimed at Elon. So check this out from Doge designer on Twitter, May Musk. So that's Elon's mother. May Musk was absolutely right when she said the media would do everything possible to break the friendship between Donald Trump and Elon Musk. Recent events clearly show how desperate the media is to drive a wedge between the two. Elon Musk is simply trying to save taxpayers money by reducing waste and offering tech support to the White House without charging a single penny. The media will continue its attacks, but people have started to realize that the media, driven by its own agenda, is no longer relevant. And I really think we have to kind of take that notion. The idea that they want these two to be fighting They've learned something. I would say the machine, the swamp, the media people, they've learned something. You don't beat Trump by attacking him. So the new move is apparently to see if you can attack Elon enough to get him to reverse course or you can drive a wedge between the two of them. You know, I can tell you that being here in D.C. as a total lark yesterday, I messaged Elon just to say, hey, I'm here. I think you're here. You know, you want to. You want to do a show or you want to get coffee or get a bite to eat. And we traded some messages throughout the day, but basically he was saying the entire time, I'm working, I'm working, I'm working. Maybe, maybe late night. And then he texted me at midnight saying he's still working. Like, this is the richest man in the world. He could be doing literally anything. And the idea that he's here working late night in D.C. when he could be sitting, he could buy Bora Bora and sit there forever, and he's doing it, really, because he just wants more money or he's secretly a Nazi. It's just so profoundly absurd. But speaking of profoundly absurd, what the left will also have to do as we open up the books, as we make things more transparent, as things start to work more, despite the legal fights and everything else, they're going to have to, you know, ramp up the crazy. They got to ramp up the crazy and the fear. Here is Connecticut Representative Ross Delaro saying that your kids may not have a teacher.
Ro Khanna
Well, we are not only relying on the courts, as Norm Eisen pointed out, the courts, the American people, I would add. The Congress will not let this succeed. And the courts are important, and we will be in the House. While we do not have standing to sue, we are working with the organizations that are bringing suit. We will file amicus briefs. So we will use. The courts are critically important in this area. The other piece of that is the outrage of the American public. And when you think about. There is a legal issue, but you have to think about what the, you know, what are the repercussions to American families. You take education, looking at denying people school lunches, you are taking the opportunity for a college education. If you cut Pell Grants, you cut student financial aid, there are a whole range of what these services do for the American public. That's the word that has to get out. When you cut education, you cut 72, you cut title one. 72,000 teachers nationwide are gone. Your kid may be in A classroom that doesn't have a teacher, Special education for development challenged kids, that will be cut. What happens to those kids? But again, it's US Aid, it's education, they're going to go to Medicaid. And it is about the effect of what happens in the lives of American people of middle class families.
Dave Rubin
I'd like to ask you a question before I analyze that clip. Do you think that purple haired woman is more competent and ready to do proper governance or do you think that Elon Musk is. If that's. If you have to choose between one of the two. You know, it's interesting. These people on the left, they pray to the altar of the state. They love the state, they love the institutions, they love the programs, right? She loves rattling off numbers. We're going to cut this. That the other thing. It doesn't mean that any of it's working. The irony is the lefties always tell you how horrible America is and how nothing works right? And we should be more socialist and everything else. And yet when we start looking at, okay, like if the, if the general premise is, well, maybe something isn't quite right here, things aren't quite working right, we're going to clean it up. You see how hysterical they get when you go to clean it up. And the reason is they want power. Nobody wants children not to get food. But that doesn't mean that the programs that are giving food to the kids or after school programs that any of it's being run properly. Again, we're just looking at, at the books. As I tweeted out this morning, if you were running a business here, I run a couple businesses, right? If I'm running my businesses in the production company that runs Rubin Report. If I called my accountant this afternoon and I was like, can I see the books? I just want to see, you know, I have X amount of employees, how much we're paying them. And we're doing this on overhead and equipment and travel. Can I just see the books? Because I want to see how much money we're making and are we, are there any places to tighten this up and spend a little bit better and blah, blah, blah. And my accountant was like, no, you can't see the books. Or the accountant was like, maybe next week. Or the accountant wasn't picking up the phone. I would fire the accountant and these people. That purple haired woman, she works for you and don't forget it. Now let's jump over to Elizabeth Warren because this is a. She's an interesting lady now. She loves murdering Babies. That's the main thing about her. She really, really loves murdering babies. Babies. She also loves socialism. While she's worth about 60 mil herself, and I've seen her several times here in D.C. and she wears these very, very expensive outfits and everything else. She is very concerned because Trump is shutting down the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. This is a bureau that she helped create back in 2011 to deal to make sure that, you know, people weren't being screwed over by banks. Again, the intentions. What is it with Democrats? The intentions are always good. Did the agency do anything? Is it functional? Is it a giant slush fund? Well, we're trying to figure that out, but she's very upset, and she thinks that Trump's doing it because Elon wants your money on the Twitter machine.
Elizabeth Warren
Elon Musk owns X, which has been losing money like crazy. So Elon has a plan for a new payment platform called X Money. Elon wants X Money to touch every part of your financial life.
Donald Trump
But.
Elizabeth Warren
But Elon has got a problem. The financial cops. The CFPB is there to make sure that Elon's new project can't scam you or steal your sensitive personal data. So Elon's solution. Get rid of the cops, kill the cfpb. This is like a bank robber trying to fire the cops and turn off the alarms just before he strolls into the lobby.
Dave Rubin
Oh, lady. Okay, here we go. First off, no one is forcing anyone to be on X or Twitter. Now, is it possible that Elon's working on a payment system within X? It certainly is possible. He's hinted at it before, but no one's forcing you to be on it. You can still have your Bitcoin, you can still have your, I don't know, US Dollars, you can still do commerce freely. But if what you're really saying here, lady, is that Elon Musk bought Twitter something that was losing money, got into the fight with free speech, lost all his old friends, had move his businesses out of California because of Gavin Newsom once he was supporting Donald Trump, did all of that so that somehow he could skirt your financial regulations and get everyone to buy things. Like, it's just so profoundly absurd. What you don't like Elizabeth Warren is that he is creating things, he is building things. And you, as a millionaire socialist, you want to lock everyone into the system. That has been pretty damn good for you, but we can all see through it now. So you've got nothing left other than hysteria, right? That's it. By the way, I don't know if you guys know this, but we're all walking around with the phone in our hand, right? And our phone in our pocket, and we all have computers and laptops and iPads and everything else. The world is going more digital, so we will start figuring out new ways to have commerce with each other. The reason they don't want digital wallets and why they hate Bitcoin, of course, is that that's peer to peer. That means if you buy something from me and we do this digitally, I can just send you digital currency, and it has nothing to do with the government. And then, Elizabeth, you're out of a job. We see you, you crazy fake Indian bitch. Let's jump over to msnbc.
Elizabeth Warren
You're right. We've got our toes right on the edge of a constitutional crisis here. But here's the thing. It may be the case that Donald Trump is so full of confidence that he thinks he can wave his wand and whatever he wants to happen will happen. And in many cases, he will be right. For example, the Republicans in the Senate just go ahead and confirm people for jobs that they know they are not qualified for, so they will kowtow to him. But I don't think that's going to happen with the courts. And here's the next part. They may not be able to force Donald Trump to do something, but Donald Trump isn't actually the guy who puts in the orders and cuts people's paychecks. There's somebody else in the system who does that. And they're a click down from Donald Trump and a click down from that and a click down from that. And when a federal court issues an order and then gets people in front of them and says, you either follow that order or find yourself in contempt. Now, we're going to see whether or not those are people who are going to say, oh, but Donald Trump told me. And a judge is going to say, I don't care what Donald Trump told you. I'm telling you what the law is. You follow the law. And, you know, my view right now is that the courts are where we are hanging on to our constitutional structure.
Dave Rubin
Absolutely absurd. If this was all the other way around, she'd be making the complete reverse argument and telling you that the courts were wrong and that we should pack the courts and everything else. Right? That's what they were doing under Biden. We want to pack the courts so that scary Donald Trump and the Republicans will never get decisions made to them by the courts. So. So nothing she says is honest again. She's just protecting A system that has been very, very good to her. And also this phrase, constitutional crisis. This, this might be the phrase of 2025. You are going to hear this relentlessly. All of them, Elizabeth Warren, aoc, Bernie Sanders, all the usual cast of characters from that crazy clown car that is the Democratic Party. They are all tweeting now and repeating the phrase constitutional crisis. We addressed this yesterday, but it's worth noting again, a constitutional crisis would be when the branches of government we have try to do the civics 101 for you guys real quick. I know you guys know it, but you know, in case this clips get shared to some of your not so bright friends that are voting Democrats still, there are three branches of government. We have the executive branch, the legislative branch and the judicial branch. The legislative branch makes the law, the executive branch, that's the president, signs it into law, and the judicial branch makes sure that it is legal. That's basically how it works. It's checks and balances. It makes sure that no one person or one party or one group of people, one group of interests gets too much power. It's quite brilliant. And the founders were pretty great guys. I should go visit some of their monuments today. Maybe we'll do that a little later. A constitutional crisis would be if one branch of government was using its authority to destroy or attack another branch. Now that's what the Democrats are always doing, right? They always want the legislative branch to pack the courts to fundamentally alter the way the courts can operate. That would be an attack and you could argue a constitutional crisis. It is specifically not a constitutional crisis when one branch of government, in this case the executive branch, goes out there and says, hey, we would like to show the people where their money is spent. We would like to look at government programs and see if they're doing the things they set out to do. That is not a constitutional crisis. That is actually proper governance, which is a crisis for the Democratic Party. Well, you get it guys. Let's talk about BHMD1 for a second and then we'll have more on that fake Indian versus Donald Trump. We've been told our whole lives that wrinkle creams were the easiest way to look younger. Now one doctor says that's nothing but old News. According to Dr. John Lake, the world renowned Beverly Hills beauty expert, most wrinkle fixes on the market are nothing but glorified moisturizers. They hardly make a dent on your appearance and some can even be harmful to your skin, he said. Recently, Dr. Lake has focused his attention away from mainstream cosmetic practices. Why? So he can pursue a revolutionary anti aging breakthrough, one that some experts say could empty the wallets of the cosmetic industry. It's almost like Photoshop for your face. You may even be mad after seeing how easy it is to visibly erase your wrinkles from view. Lake told reporters his personal clients have dubbed his new do it yourself technique the Age Rewinder method, because it can take years or even decades off your appearance in under two minutes. In light of this amazing breakthrough, Dr. Lake has released a step by step video to the public, free and uninterrupted, where he outlines exactly how to use this simple solution from home. You can find out more about this yourself right now. Go to bhmd1.com reuben or click the link in the description box below. That's bhmd1.com Ruben again, go watch the video at bhmd1.com Rubin right now or just click the link in the description box below. All right, so I mentioned a moment ago that Elizabeth Warren in 2011 created, helped create something called the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. I don't think we have to go into all of the specifics of what it does or how or whether it's doing something good or bad or anything else. It's just another government agency created by, in this case, Senator Elizabeth Warren. Right. We are allowed to look at every single agency and say, okay, we took money from the people and we gave it to this agency. Is this agency doing anything or is it doing it effectively? That's all we're doing right now when we're pausing things. And by the way, you know, this pause that we're going through where you might argue, okay, it's a little bit of a, a bump in the road, you know, what's happening with our agencies and are we cutting money appropriately and everything. Donald Trump and Elon Musk actually made a point of saying that during the campaign as well. Do you remember Elon Musk saying, there's going to be a pain point? And we covered that. That was a few months ago, that there's going to be a little pain involved. Well, yeah, if you do anything good, there's a cost. And the cost is it's going to, there's going to be a little, a little bit of looking at things and figuring out, boy, we're going to have to cut some things. Like it's not the gravy train is not going to run forever anyway. She creates the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. She's very upset that we're looking at the Books. And I have a feeling the more we look at the books, the more we're going to find out it was a giant slush fund that didn't do much of anything. But we'll find out, right? Don't take my word for it. We'll find out as things get more transparent. Anyway, here's Trump on that. Mr. President, regarding the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Democrats, including Elizabeth Warren, have said that by freezing it, it's getting big banks and giant corporations a green light to families.
Donald Trump
Yeah, Pocahontas. Pocahontas. The fake. The faker. You know, that was set up to destroy people. She used that as her little personal agency to go around and destroy people. And she's a fake. Just like she said. She was an Indian and she wasn't an Indian. You have more Indian blood in you than she has. She went to college based on the fact that she was an Indian. She got jobs based on the fact that she was an Indian. She's a fake. That was. That was set up to destroy some very good people. And it worked. I mean, it worked. A lot of. A lot of great people. I'll tell you, before I ever heard the term, people would come up to me in the Midwest in areas that say, sir, I'm being destroyed by them. They use that to destroy people. She's a nasty woman. She's a really nasty woman, despite her phony beer commercial. Now, we did the right thing. That was a very important thing to get rid of. And it was also a waste. I mean, number one, it was a bit bad group of people running it, but it was also a waste. If you looked at when she really ran it. Wow, that was a vicious group of people. They really destroyed a lot of people.
Dave Rubin
You can confirm it's your goal is to have it totally eliminated. Yeah.
Donald Trump
Because we're trying to get rid of waste, fraud and abuse.
Dave Rubin
Okay, guys, so look, I'm not an expert in every single thing that the consumer protection agency has done. I suspect that Donald Trump is right. And the more we look at it, we're going to find out that they put, you know, businesses that were competing properly out of business. Like, I just have no doubt that an agency created by, you know, this LARPing socialist millionaire probably was doing a bunch of bad stuff, and that's why she's upset. But I'm not an expert in that. You could do a little research. We'll do a little more research on that as well to find out what actually the agency was doing. But again, whether the agency was Doing great things or terrible things or somewhere in between. That is largely irrelevant because all that is going on right now is we're just trying to figure out, are they doing it functionally, is it a good use of our money? Right. The agency might be doing great things, but that doesn't mean they have three times the budget that they should have. So, again, it's just looking at things properly. Trump mentioned. Well, of course, Elizabeth Warren did get into Harvard. That is completely right. She got into Harvard by claiming she was a Native American. In fact, she is 11 64th Native American. So she's not a Native American at all. So she is just a regular old, rich white woman who faked her ethnicity to get into Harvard. I mean, that in and of itself, if anything, that the left would tell you about anything, they should all hate her. But for whatever reason, they seem not to. And then he brought up that, that beer commercial. Do you remember this one? You know, I always say this thing about how crazy it is that this orange man with the crazy hair who's a billionaire, has more in common with the average person and is more authentic than any of these people. Do you remember this? When Elizabeth Warren, about five years ago, was running for president, like, look at the abject fakery. And not like, she's not human. These people, where are they from? How did they get here? Go.
Elizabeth Warren
There we go. I'm glad for everybody who's joining this video. It's great to hear from you. Hold on a sec. I'm gonna get me a beer. Hey, Clover, My husband Bruce is now in here. You want a beer?
Dave Rubin
No, I'll pass on the beer for now. Sure.
Elizabeth Warren
Okay.
Dave Rubin
Yes.
Elizabeth Warren
So this is my sweetie.
Dave Rubin
Hello.
Elizabeth Warren
He's the best. And I'm a priest.
Dave Rubin
I love you. I love you, too.
Elizabeth Warren
Thank you for being here. Pleasure. I'm glad you're here.
Dave Rubin
Enjoy your beer.
Elizabeth Warren
So who have we got here so far?
Dave Rubin
Those are two people who have not had sex in a long, long time. And I think we could all be thankful for that. I'm a get me a beer. And then she introduces her husband, and it's just like, they're all gross and fake. I'mma get me a beer because that's how you really speak Elizabeth Warren. It's like Hillary Clinton with her hot sauce or aoc changing her accent, whether she's in the south or she's in the Bronx. Like, these people are so deeply inauthentic. And I think that deep inauthenticity is deeply connected to why they are slaves to the machine. The machine gave a bunch of people who don't deserve your attention or your respect. It put them in positions of power so they bow to it to stay in those positions of power forever. And then along comes the orange man with his billionaire friend saying, you know, we like people. Like, who do you think likes people more? Do you think Elizabeth Warren really likes people? We know she wants to kill an awful lot of babies and close down centers where they help women who are thinking about having abortions for instead, they could maybe raise that child or get some other services or put it up for adoption or something else. Like, who likes people more? Is it any of these Democrats, or is it Elon or Donald Trump? Like, we all know what the answer to that is, obviously. I can't believe we're spending so much time on this. I'm not covering Elizabeth Warren tomorrow because here we go again. We got another clip of her.
Elizabeth Warren
It's Super Bowl Sunday, and here's a reminder that Donald Trump has done pretty much nothing to lower your grocery costs. Remember, during Donald Trump's campaign, he repeatedly promised to lower food prices immediately. He said on day one. Ah, but here we are way past day one, and the cost of groceries has only gone up. Chicken wings cost over 7% more than they did a year ago. Egg prices have risen 60% from $2.51 a dozen to over $4 a dozen. Look, instead of lowering costs for your family, Trump's been focused on cutting funding for hot meals for seniors and giving Elon Musk access to the system that makes sure that your grandparents get their Social Security checks on time. Donald Trump needs to buckle down and use the tools he has to lower grocery prices and deliver on his promises.
Dave Rubin
My God. Lady, lady, let me unpack this for you. If it is in fact true that chicken wing prices are up 7% from last year, do you think that has to do with the 11 months that Joe Biden was president or the one month that Donald Trump was president? He is focused on figuring out where the bad spending is going so that ultimately the government will spend less so we, the people, once again will have more, thus creating the conditions so that the economy will flourish. Right? And then prices will go down. It's you guys who have put all of this insane regulation on our farmers and caused the price of gas to go up because of your ridiculous foreign policy and everything else that create the conditions that cascade throughout the system so that at the end of the day, the price of eggs does go up. But it's not. It's because you guys are screwing over the farmer, you're screwing over the trucker who has to deliver it. You're screwing over everybody throughout the supply chain. And you think that Donald Trump magically, overnight, you guys who did the Inflation Reduction act, which just actually created inflation by dumping more imaginary money into the system, you guys think he can just figure that overnight? So when Donald Trump said on day one, he's going to start dealing with it, he has been dealing with it on day one. You don't necessarily see the prices go down immediately, but as we get rid of regulation, as we have monetary policy that makes sense, and as we figure out where our spending is going and as we can hopefully lower taxes and lower regulation on everybody, that will get the economy going. Lady, if you think Elizabeth around while you go ahead and if you think Elizabeth Warren is bad, I think we jumped the gun on that one. It was. If you think Elizabeth Warren's bad, there is this Jasmine Crockett, and I'm telling you guys, this girl, she's a congresswoman. She is so insane. She is so over the top and ridiculous. And she's so dumb, actually dumb, that she makes AOC look like Margaret Thatcher. Okay, Clip.
Jasmine Crockett
Going to sit around while you go ahead and desecrate our Constitution, or you look at the laws that have been passed into law and say, never mind, we'll just ignore that. Instead, we are going to be in your face, we are going to be on your asses and we are going to make sure. We are going to make sure you understand what democracy looks like.
Dave Rubin
This ain't it. Stay off my ass, lady. That's my message to you. Okay? But do you see what the Democrats are doing here as they veer out of control, as there are virtually no moderate voices in the party, they don't know what to do anymore. So someone like her, doesn't she seem like a next level AOC now? AOC kind of feels like yesterday's news, right? She was a value to the system for a while and she's not as valuable anymore. So what would be next? They can either moderate. You could, you could try to come back to the center, right? Or you can just continue going off the crazy train. She's clearly on the crazy train, right? She's. I'm going to be more hysterical than aoc. I'll get off your ass and I'll speak in all the. In like, I'll up my accent. It's the way you Han Omar is doing it too. They are just going to up the crazy constantly and again, Jasmine Crockett, what are you defending right now? All you are defending is a system that as, as it gets exposed, we are seeing was not working for we the people. I don't care what your politics are, lady. I really don't. But I do care that for some reason you feel the need to defend the system. Now, the reason you need to defend the system is because somehow you became a congresswoman with no discernible talent, like no respect for your fellow Americans, like the way she speaks and everything else. Here she is with the new, I think, vice chair of the co vice chair of the Democrat Party. His name's Malcolm Kenyatta. And they are very upset because Donald Trump is a very, very scary man.
Jasmine Crockett
I do believe that fear is truly warranted in the sense that people of color are just going to be rounded up. I think that if you can be mistaken for being a brown person, that you should be concerned because there is nothing that is tatted on anybody's head that says I'm undocumented or I'm a citizen.
Dave Rubin
Right where we are, where we're supposed to believe that the wealthiest man in the world is rooting around in our government systems to make life better for, for the people who live in my district, folks who are one car payment away, one home repair away from losing the safety and security that we all deserve. That is what we're supposed to believe. Clearly it's bs it's nonsense. Donald Trump has spent every single day since he's been in office making life worse for working people and working families. You guys are really making my job too easy today. Do you see? Again, they just pray to the system. If you want to keep more of your money, if you want to, for what, to whatever extent, we all have to pay taxes, put it into a system that's efficient and governing, and then have proper governance and all of those things, then you want to stay as far away from the Democrats as possible. Everything that they do seems to be a way of taking from the individual and giving to the system. Look, I'm not a, like a total ancap, right? Like, I'm not a total anarchist like somebody like Michael Malice, who must. We should get him back on the show soon. Who must be having a field day right now. If you believe that governments should exist to whatever extent they can do something good. Most of us believe that, right? I believe in the light touch of government. That used to be a classically liberal position. It's now mostly a position of the conservatives. And that's why the classical Liberals, the RFK is the Tulsi's, et cetera, are all basically now Republicans. But what you would want is a slim, trim government that can do a little bit. And you know, it's interesting because people on the left are always worried about too much government power. Right? That's what they're always screaming about. What's Bernie always screaming about? The government. The government. But all of their solutions are always to make the government bigger. What's happening now is we are in this shift that I've been talking about where people have woken up, they are realizing we don't need that giant albatross above us. It doesn't do very good stuff. I don't know, after a couple of years of COVID maybe people are looking at it a little bit more with a skeptical eye going, did the government really care about me and why wasn't I allowed to go to grandma's funeral again? And all of that stuff. But there is this seemingly younger generation. We're now seeing it with the Jasmine Crockets. And this new that guy is the co vice chair of the DNC right now, this Malcolm guy with David Hogg. You guys know David Hogg from the Parkland shooting who then got into Harvard even though his grades weren't good enough to get in there. I think it's because he's a lesbian. And it's like, you guys don't deserve the positions you're in. But the new generation seems to be even more radical. They're going to make people. The revolution always eats its own. So they're going to make people like Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren seem like moderates as they continue to jump off into the abyss. Guys, let's talk about Rumble Premium for a moment and then we'll have a bit more. As they try to stop. Well, I should put it this way. As the progressives try to stop actual progress, free speech is under attack. But Rumble refuses to back down. Rumble has always believed in empowering voices, no matter how unpopular. I feel like today is Crazy Chick Day on the Rubin Report. That's where we're gonna officially title this show. It's the Crazy Chick Show. So obviously, we've given you Elizabeth Warren and Jasmine Crockett. And, you know, there's always. We can always throw in a mad hour or whatever, but let's jump over. Yeah, you know where we're going to the ladies of the View, here is a woman who I, you know, it's not. Don't worry. We're not doing Sunny Hassan right now. We're doing Anna Navarro. And Anna Navarro, it's just worth noting that this woman was once a Republican. She was a conservative. She's a Cuban living in Miami, where you're going to meet who I love the Cubans of Miami. They're. They're the most decent, warm, fun, never stop talking, joking. They love America. They get what communism is. She used to work for Marco Rubio. She was sane, and now she's this, you know, I don't do sports. You know, I don't do football. So I wasn't watching the game. But listen, I think today Donald Trump is going to sign an executive order banning black, black people from halftime. Because, you know, I didn't watch the super bowl either. We were. We got the kids a fish tank and we went to Petco and we filled it up with fish. It was actually totally fun and it was a great day. So I didn't watch the game either. I'm not a huge football guy, but I did see some of the highlights in Kendrick Lamar halftime. Like, nobody cares. Nobody cares if he's black or white. I get it's just a joke, but it's just their way. It's her subtle way of just trying to rehash racism again. You know, it's like that. That is what it is. That it's nothing more than that. And they just want you to think that no matter what, that Donald Trump is a racist and it ain't true. And interestingly, you know, one of the things I've been saying is, you know, as much as it seems that that wokeness is dead and we're moving on and everything else, that it has to run through the system. Right? There are movies that are still in the can that were made two years ago that are gonna be released. There are TV shows There are articles to be written and books to get out. It doesn't all get out of the system overnight. And some of that was on display during the super bowl itself. And because this is the Crazy Chick episode of the Rubin Report, here is Joy Reid.
Jasmine Crockett
But I also want to talk about the commercials, because what actually surprised me, I was kind of expecting that all of corporate America had walked back from any kind of wokeness in terms of their ads, because they're all like, no, dei. I'm sorry, but the commercials were like, girl power. Look at this little girl with her potato. Empower women. Empower senior women. What was going on with these commercials, Joy?
Joy Reid
There have been so many studies that have come out from the McKinsey group that show that these companies make billions of dollars by being inclusive. Culture is woke, and I think the society wants dni. You know, corporate America might be backing away because of Trump, but at the end of the day, this is what sells. I mean, Kendrick Lamar was chosen to be the halftime action for a reason. Hip hop is driving culture, not just here in this country, but around the world, across the pond. It's happening. So having that inclusion, that diversity, is catering to a younger audience who's actually going out and buying these products. They're the ones that are making these companies very wealthy. And DNI or DI is what really does drive the dollar.
Jasmine Crockett
I mean, they're going to say what they have to say and take the knee to Donald Trump in order to appease him, but they still want to sell dollies, they still want to sell clothes, they still want to sell their products. And the Village People performing for Trump is not going to do it. Right wing culture is not hot. It's just, you know, they may have the presidency, but they don't have the culture. It's just not. It's not hot. Sorry, Village People.
Joy Reid
Not at all. And I think that what Kendrick said in the beginning, the revolution will not be televised. You picked the right time and the wrong guy. To me, that was the whole performance and the whole commercials, all of it. The revolution was televised last night, period.
Dave Rubin
God, that woman's a retard. Just because there were commercials that said girls should be empowered or a black guy was doing the halftime show doesn't mean that you guys have the culture. You guys have largely lost the culture, which is why you're the brunt of all of the jokes now. It's why I can say the word retard again. It's why people are being funny again. And that there is a movement now that it is cool to support the President because he's for freedom and being pro America. And most of what you guys are selling is nonsense and people know it. It's not evidence that people like DEI because a black guy sang at the halftime show. Nobody care. Nobody cares if it's a black guy or a white guy. Now, interestingly, if it had been a white guy, had they just chosen some white country singer, I know the kids like, what's his name, Morgan Wallen. Right now, you would have probably done a show saying this proves that white supremacy is here and everything else. And it's like, no, it would have proven that people like Morgan Wallen. That's it. But I to some extent feel bad for you people because you're in a prison of your own making, of your own mind, where everything at the end of the day will be whittled down to the color of your skin and your genitals. And it's a miserable, miserable existence, I. E. The Joy Reid human being. But let's continue on the crazy chicks of the Rubin Report special. Here's Ayanna Pressley. Like Iowa Governor Reynolds, let's learn more about the state. Do you know what percentage of Iowans are white and what percentage are black? I don't know the exact percentages. Now, we're by far larger percentage of white population. That's correct. Iowa is 90% white and only four and a half percent black. So that is drastically different from the national population. So when Republicans suggest Iowa should be a national model, they're advocating for a government that doesn't reflect our country. I'm in D.C. it's a holy place to some, to these leftists. So I won't say what I'm thinking, but you know what I'm thinking, lady. So you want to put Kim Reynolds in jail. Sorry, you have too many white people in your state. It does not matter what the racial makeup of a state is. It doesn't matter what the racial makeup of an organization is or anything else. What matters? Do you have good people? Do you have competent people? Do you have. You created a culture that rewards success, that has, that has some connection to humans flourishing and living freely and everything else. But again, this is all they got. You got the hystericals, you got the Jasmine Crockets I'm gonna get on your ass. And you got the, the Presleys who want to count the white people. Congratulations, you got all that. Guys, we, we're going to cut the show a little bit short. I'm going to show you one more Clip because believe it or not, I have a freaking Democrat coming in here, probably not going to be thrilled with me if he hears everything I said on this show. But I'll ask him about some of these crazy chicks. So we will end. We're going to leave our segment five. We'll start with that for tomorrow's show. But we'll end on this. A guy who still, God bless him, he still lives in California, can't go to his home in Malibu even though it didn't burn down because Gavin Newsom won't let him show up at his own house. So he's sleeping at Dr. Drew's house. Yes, I'm talking about Adam Carolla. And here he talks about how the Democrats have completely done this to themselves. Ten minutes ago you had Joe Biden, who doesn't give a shit about black people and or women. The guy's never even met his biological granddaughter for sake. You think he cares about women? He doesn't give a about black people or women. He decided that he needed a black female vice president. You then took someone who's incompetent and put her into that position. And then when the old man that you lied about ended up having dementia, he fell off. And then you guys were stuck with an incompetent black woman and you couldn't get rid of her because you can't get rid of a woman of color and replace him with a heterosexual white male. So then she ran for president, nobody liked her, and she lost the election. So keep going retards. Yeah, keep going retards. That actually, should Democrats keep going retards. Like that actually would make sense as a tagline for these people because he's absolutely right and that it reiterates the point that I was making throughout this. Like, they will always go to the crazy. They will always go to the fringe of the fringe of the fringe of the fringe. Jordan Peterson, for years and years was trying to get Democrats on Capitol Hill to say, is there a point where the left goes too far? And he could never get anyone, literally, he could never get a Democratic congressman to say on the record that they ever felt the left went too far. So congratulations. Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren five years from now are going to look like moderates because you guys are going with your crockets and you're going with your Presleys and you're going with your other bananas lunatics. We will end with a cold close from Jordan Peterson about rats, which is a total non sequitur. But I think you're going to dig it. And believe it or not, I'm about to sit down with Democrats. Ro Khanna. Stay tuned for that one. Thanks for watching. And we're back from D.C. tomorrow. Ciao. Rat is this. The rats are all like this. The rat goes like this. So the rat's like this. The normal rat is like this. That's the normal rat. Like this. Like this. It sniffs. It's like this for quite a while. He's like this, and then maybe he sniffs.
