Foreign what is up people? I am Dave Rubin. This is the Rubin Report. It is February 3, 2025. We are live streaming on Rumble on YouTube and Locals. We've got a post game show at rubinreport.locals.com and I hope you had a great weekend because we're just diving right back into it. There is a lot of good stuff happening. There's some bad stu happening. There's a bunch of weird stuff happening. It involves trade wars, it involves tariffs, it involves a Democrat party that is trying to reconfigure itself right in front of our eyes but somehow is managing to be crazier than ever and a whole bunch more. So let's just dive right into it. The big thing this morning as we kick off the week is that this trade war as it relates to Trump's tariffs is here. There's some movement breaking right now that we're hearing out of Mexico that we'll get to in just a little bit. But let me just get you caught up to speed if you are not paying attention to the political world over the weekend here from the Daily Wire. President Donald Trump will impose tariffs on China, Canada and Mexico beginning Saturday, White House Press Secretary Carolyn Levitt told reporters on Friday afternoon. Levitt said that Trump will hit Canada and Mexico with 25% tariffs and impose a 10% tariff on China. After he was elected in November, Trump promised to impose tariffs like on the three countries unless they ended the flow of illegal drugs and unlawful migration into the U.S. these are promises made and promises kept by the president, levitt said. She added that the tariff on China is for the illegal fentanyl that they have sourced and allowed to distribute into our country, which has killed tens of millions of Americans. Okay, so we can have a big debate about tariffs. Are tariffs good? Aren't they good? Basically, tariffs are a giant tax that we are imposing 25% in the case of Canada and Mexico, 10% in the case of China on imported goods. So if you were to buy something from that is made in Mexico and has to come over the border or made in Canada or made in China and come over the border, that there is this now tax on it. Thus you have to pay more, right? So you might say, well, wait a minute, I don't want to have to pay more for these goods. But what Trump is doing here is using it as leverage. He knows that if Americans suddenly have to pay more for, say, avocados or for corona, you'll see why I'm referencing those two in just a moment. That perhaps Mexico will be like, boy, people aren't gonna buy avocados from us or they're not gonna buy Corona from us, because you can grow avocados in America and you can make beer in America. Thus, we better play ball with Trump and we better change our border policy. And you can extrapolate that to Canada, to China, et cetera, et cetera. So many economists can have their own feelings on tariffs, but you can clearly see I'm just laying out what Trump's premise is. His premise is, we are gonna hurt you guys economically unless you do something about the border. Because we've had it with the illegals and we've had it with the fentanyl. Right. That's basically it. And here's JD Vance explaining just that. The problem with this whole idea that they're gonna retaliate is they have already been taking advantage of America for decades. The retaliation is Donald Trump saying, no more. We're not gonna be taken advantage of anymore. And I think it's important the President is doing what he's doing now. Look, different ways and comes in different forms. Whether you're talking about Canada or China or Mexico. We know that Mexico has allowed the facilitation of the illegal drug trade and illegal sex trafficking for years and has done nothing about it. If they want to be a better partner to us, the time starts now. We know the Chinese, of course, have stolen American manufacturing jobs for 30, 40 years, and also that they facilitated the trafficking of illegal fentanyl into Mexico, where the drug cartels then bring into our country. We are sick of being taken advantage of. We still have, thank God, the biggest economy in the entire world, the best people and the best workers. But the message from President Trump to the entire world is very clear. We are done being taken advantage of. And we have a president who looks out for the interests of American citizens. Thank God we do. And we're going to try to do it the best we can. All right? So once again, this is Trump 2.0, or the Trump Effect, whatever you want to call it. And JD Just does a bang up job in layman's terms, of explaining what's going on here. We are sick of being taken advantage of. Oh, we have all of these kind of weak trade deals with you guys for years. And on top of that, you have sent all of the drug cartel people and opened up the border and allowed the drugs in and all of these things, and the criminals and the child molesters and all the stuff like not good people. Right. And you're not Helping us out. So we are doing what Donald Trump said he was going to do, right? This is for anyone that's annoyed at Donald Trump right now, or you think that the price of something that you get from Canada or something that you get from Mexico is about to go up A. The idea here is that it's temporary, right? You. You lay this down on them. So suddenly Trudeau in Canada is like, boy, people are buying less of our stuff in America, and we need America more than America needs us. So. So this is a negotiation ploy. It's not ploy. It's a. It's a tactic. And Trump is moving forward on something that he promised he was going to move forward on. He posted this on Truth Social. We pay hundreds of billions of dollars to subs. There is no reason we don't need anything they have. We have unlimited energy, should make our own cars and have more lumber than we can ever use. Without this massive subsidy, Canada ceases to exist as a viable country. Harsh but true. Therefore, Canada should become our cherished 51st state. Much lower taxes and far better military protection for the people of Canada, and no tariffs. Okay, I just once again want to say that as far as the 51st state thing, I just can't live in the same country as Justin Trudeau. So I know Trump's likely kidding, but there's going to have to. If it starts, Trump, you know, he tests the water with these things, and if it starts coming to fruition, like it's me or Justin, we're just going to have to figure that out. That's number one. Number two, again, this is Trump doing what he promised to do, okay? So you can't be angry at him as if this came out of nowhere. You may not like it. And people, there's an odd thing. We've had a weird thing in America for the last three decades, probably, which is we kind of get screwed on all of our international deals, we get screwed on all of our economic deals, we get screwed on all of our treaties and everything else. Paris climate accords, we're the only one that pays into it. We fund the U.N. we do all of these things. And now, as JD's pointing, pointing at, we are just unfurling some of this stuff. So it is good. Let's show some video of Donald Trump himself. He met with the CEO of Nvidia. Now, Nvidia obviously makes most of the chips, or at least the best chips, that are put in the supercomputers that are powering this AI revolution, whether you're afraid of entering the matrix or not. It's happening whether you like it or not. So here's Trump talking about how we're going to also put tariffs on chips, oil, gas, steel, aluminum. And then he definitely pissed off some people in the European Union. Take a look. He's the biggest in the world in terms of chips. And I can't say what's going to happen with it. We had a meeting, it was a good meeting. But eventually we're going to put tariffs on chips, we're going to put tariffs on oil and gas. That'll happen fairly soon, I think around the 18th of February. And we're going to put a lot of tariffs on steel. We already have tariffs on steel and we've saved our steel industry, but that was relatively small compared to what it'll be. But we're going to be putting tariffs on steel and aluminum and ultimately copper. Well, you're asking me a question because I'm sure you didn't hear, am I going to impose tariffs on the European Union? Do you want the truthful answer or should I give you a political answer? Absolutely. Even that right there. I'm really into this thing that he's been doing lately where in this case, it was a rhetorical question. When he asks the question back and sometimes he waits for the answer from the reporter. But again, the point here is, and we'll do a show, why don't we get, we'll get two economic experts, one on the pro tariff side, one on the anti tariff side. Why don't we do that in the next couple of weeks and we can have that debate about tariffs. What I'm trying to lay out here is this is what Trump promised to do, and it's not to get us into a protracted trade war with these countries. It's so that other countries, Canada is the easy example of this because we obviously don't need that much from Canada. Right. So that Canada will be like, oh, we will actually be willing to a protect the border a little bit more or enter treaties with the United States that are more, it's your favorite word, lefties, equitable, as opposed to us footing the bill on everything. And now Trump's already floating it with the European Union people. It's like, why is it we have the biggest army in the world, we have the best economy in the world, we have the beauty of American ingenuity and everything else. And why are we always getting screwed on everything? I don't think it's going to happen much longer. Speaking of the De screwing Elon Musk, who's running doge, The Department of Government Efficiency. They're having a field day already. Check this out. Reducing the federal deficit from 2 trillion to 1 trillion in 2026 requires cutting an average of $4 billion a day in projected 2026 spending from now until September 30th. That would still result in a $1 trillion deficit, but economic growth should be able to match that number, which would mean no inflation in 2026. Do you get that? So their idea is that if you basically cut enough from the government, yes, we will still have a deficit, but because of these tariffs, because we will hopefully be able to flip the way everything is done, that should basically take care of the $1 trillion deficit you'd be left with. Thus we would not be running a deficit anymore. That would be pretty good. Now, this one we literally just saw right as the show started. So I'm reading it for the first time as I see it right now, because it sounds like already Mexico is changing policy a little bit. This is Trump on Truth Social. Just moments ago, I just spoke with President Claudia Sheinbaum of Mexico. It was a very friendly conversation where she agreed immediately to supply 10,000 Mexico soldier Mexican soldiers on the border separating Mexico and the United States. These soldiers will be specifically designated to stop the flow of fentanyl and illegal migrants into our country. We further agreed to immediately pause the anticipated tariffs for a one month period during which we have negotiations headed by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of the Treasury Scott Besant, and Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick, and high level representative representatives of Mexico. I look forward to participating in these negotiations with President Sheinbaum as we attempt to achieve a deal between our two countries. I mean, how freaking amazing is that? Literally, we're laying out the show today that happened a minute before we went live, and already they're already putting a pause on the tariffs because the threat of tariffs worked. This is all. Did somebody write a book? Did Donald Trump ever write a book having something to do with the art of negotiations? Was there a book about that? I'm pretty sure there was a book about it. And you would think that some of these dingbats might have read it and then they could maybe make some other moves with him. But it's all working. It's all absolutely working. So that's Mexico. But now let's jump over to Canada because Justin Trudeau, he's ready to fight Trump on these tariffs. Unfortunately, the actions taken today by the White House split us apart. Instead of bringing us together. Tonight I am announcing Canada will be responding to the US trade action with 25% tariffs against $155 billion worth of American goods. Now is also the time to choose Canada. There are many ways for you to do your part. It might mean checking the labels at the supermarket and picking Canadian made products. It might mean opting for Canadian rye over Kentucky bourbon or forgoing Florida orange juice altogether. It might mean changing your summer vacation plans to stay here in Canada and explore the many national and provincial parks, historical sites and tourist destinations our great country has to offer. Guys, you can stay in Canada, have a vacation with Justin Trudeau and drink that delicious Canadian orange juice. Who do you think is going to be screwed by this? More like just flat out does not matter what your political beliefs are or anything else. Who do you think needs who more? Does Canada need us more or do we need Canada more? That is not. I love Canadians. I love Canada. I know that we have huge amount of viewership, like a disproportionate amount of viewership in Canada. Cuz I've spent a lot of time making fun of Justin Trudeau and fighting with the Canadian truckers to be free and all of those things. So I am not attacking any specific the citizenry, the citizens of Canada. But this man is a fool. He thinks, oh, Trump is threatening us with 25% tariffs. We're just gonna do it back. Who's that going to hurt more? It's going to hurt you guys more, not us. That's how it works. And by the way, Democrats in this country years ago used to agree with Donald Trump that you use pressure to actually change the behavior of your opponents. Here's Chuck schumer Back in 2018, when Donald Trump was president, when he was putting a little pressure on China. Look, I think the President's doing the right thing. China has been taking advantage of us for two days, two decades. They're stealing our intellectual property, which means stealing our good paying jobs. And I frankly am closer on this issue, not on many, but on this issue with President Trump than I was with Presidents Bush or Obama because they did nothing to tell China off. Now China of course will respond, but if they know we're strong and we're not going to back off, they will back off. They have far more to lose than we do. They have a $300 billion trade surplus with. That's the point. Chuck Schumer, seven years ago, you understood it then that you use what leverage you have economically and otherwise so that your deals with Countries are a little bit more even now, for some reason, seven years later, Chuck does not understand this at all. And he's very upset that avocados and Corona beer might be a little more expensive. Now, of course, this is to the backdrop of what we just read, that already Sheinbaum, the president of Mexico, has reversed on this, but check this out nonetheless. This is from over the weekend. It's going to affect beer, okay? Most of it. Corona here comes from Mexico. It's going to affect your guac, because what is guacamole made of? Avocados. Both from Mexico. Avocados. They're made from avocados. Okay, so again, this has already been reversed, literally in the last 16 minutes or something. So Trump's policy worked. 10,000 Mexican soldiers, and now we're delaying the tariffs for 25%. But I. But even had that not happened, do you realize how ridiculous this is? Do you guys know of. Are there any. Connor, you're. You're a beer drinker. Are there any beer companies here in America that make American beer? There are a few there. I've been told there are a few. They've got some craft beer that they're making up in the Pacific Northwest, those hipster doofuses, and then we've got our good old fashioned mid Midwest beer. The point is that, yes, nobody wants to pay more for avocados, nobody wants to pay more for Corona, but you really shouldn't be drinking that crap anyway. It's just so not impressive. But in light of changing bad deals, if you buy American, listen to Justin Trudeau. We're going to have vacations. We're going to all go to Banff for the weekend. By the way, I live in Florida. Here in Florida, I have a massive avocado tree. Okay? This is a Dave Rubin official avocado. Now, it's not a. It's not a Hess. A Hass avocado, which is what most guacamole is made from. This is a more traditional avocado. That's why it's a little bit bigger. The flavor isn't as buttery or whatever. But in light of protecting America, I will make my guacamole from this right here. But I don't have to anyway, because Sheinbaum already reversed. Let's talk about BHMD1, and then we'll get to Immigration. We've been told our whole lives that wrinkle creams were the easiest way to look younger. Now, one doctor says that's nothing but old News. According to Dr. John Lake, the world renowned Beverly Hills beauty expert. Most wrinkle fixes on the market are nothing but glorified moisturizers. They hardly make a dent on your appearance and some can even be harmful to your skin, he said. Recently, Dr. Lake has focused his attention away from mainstream cosmetic practices. Why? So he can pursue a revolutionary anti aging breakthrough, one that some experts say could empty the wallets of the cosmetic industry. It's almost like Photoshop for your face. You may even be mad after seeing how easy it is to visibly erase your wrinkles from view. Lake told reporters. His personal clients have dubbed his new do it yourself technique the Age rewinder method, because it can take years or even decades off your appearance in under two minutes. In light of this amazing breakthrough, Dr. Lake has released a step by step video to the public, free and uninterrupted, where he outlines exactly how to use this simple solution from home. You can find out more about this yourself right now. Go to bhmd1.com reuben or click the link in the description box below. That's bhmd1.com Ruben again, go watch the video at bhmd1.com Reuben right now or just click the link in the description box below. All right, before we continue, because I know people are going to freak out about this avocado thing. We just sliced open this avocado. Now, it's not the freshest avocado, okay? I had the guys run outside and grab an avocado off the floor. So it's not the freshest avocado and it's not fully avocado season right now. So ignore some of the discoloration there. But if the question is, Dave, do we want to get screwed by Mexico on all of these trade deals and the immigration situation so that you can have cheap avocados, or would you have the bigger avocado? Even if it's not 100% right? Not bad. I'm willing to do it because I'm a true American. You know what I'm saying? Okay, Speaking of true Americans, Tom Homan. You know Tom Homan? Tom Holman's the guy who played Tom Holman in the movie about Tom Holman starring Tom Homan. He's in charge of ICE right now, and he is getting rid of people fast. And it's not just that he's getting rid of the illegals and the child rapists and all of those people. It's that he's sending a signal to the other people who are on the way. Don't come here because we're going to get rid of you. Here he is explaining just that. Can you assess your work so far? Well, look, I. Look at the numbers this morning, Maria. The crossings on the border, down 93%. 93%. Wow. That's a bigger decrease than under the first Trump administration. So, look, I said President Trump is a game changer. No one has had the success he's had on securing the border. He clearly understands we can't have strong national security if we don't have border security. And I received a very actually interesting statistic on this front from ICE this week. 97% of the deportations that this administration has made thus far are of individuals who had a removal order from the previous administration, but were never removed from the interior of our country. So this shows that the previous administration was actually defying our laws. In all this administration is doing is simply following the laws, the immigration laws of this great country. All right, so on the home, in part, it's just like, yeah, yeah, yeah, no bs. Just lays it out as it is. Caroline Levitt is just doing an absolutely banged up job there. And it is worth noting that 97% of the people that we've gotten rid of, they were supposed to be out. So not only did the Biden administration illegally, in essence illegally, let these people in or illegally, or at least at least, let's say skirting some laws, let these people in, but then they didn't even get rid of the criminals that they knew were doing bad things here. That's a problem. Now, let's take this to Florida, because Florida's got an immigration fight. There is a huge fight brewing between Governor DeSantis and our Republican supermajority legislature. It sounds hard to believe, but they are trying to pass something called the Trump act, which strips the power. It's very clever what these MFers are doing. It strips the power of deportation away from the governor so that the governor will have less power to coordinate with ICE and coordinate with the police on the ground and gives it to the Department of Agriculture. Yes. Really? Because even in Florida, there is a swamp. And we have a huge problem here. That's why we had. I'm losing my voice today, or I'm going through puberty. I'm not sure one of the other guys. But we have a problem here. I discussed this with Governor DeSantis last week and check out what's going on in Miami just in the last week or two, where it's not just people that are Venezuelan and Mexican and everything else. It's Chinese Illegals just showing up. And it's like, what the high hell are these people doing here? And now, for the second time in two weeks, there were these white vans pulled over here in the neighborhoods of Coral Gables. And inside them were dozens and dozens of Chinese migrants and a whole also smugglers. They were stopped yesterday, and then two weeks before that, very, very similar, another white van. The police chief here says they believe that these migrants were dropped off somewhere in the area along the water, along the Atlantic Ocean here. And it's interesting when you dig into it. There's this issue with the Caribbean right now, Elizabeth. China is buying up thousands and thousands of acres of land in the Caribbean. Caribbean places like Antigua, the Bahamas. It's being called America's third border. And we're told that's a place where these Chinese migrants stop on their way to Florida. We spoke with Congressman John Moulinar. He is the chairman of the Select Committee of the ccp. He is aware of this. Listen to what he told us, Elizabeth. In the case of the Chinese, you don't know the affiliation with the Chinese Communist Party, and that's the concern, because the Chinese Communist Party will leverage Chinese nationals to do things that are nefarious and against the interests of the United States. Now, that last part there is quite interesting because now think about what's been going on in this country for the last year and a half when we've had these crazy Hamas protests all over the place and these masked people everywhere and down with America and all of this stuff. It's like, are they Chinese migrants? Would that help? Would unrest in America help the ccp? Like, do you see what's going on here? What else are these people doing? What are they all doing? Are they all looking to work at Chinese takeout places here? I don't think so. I don't think so. I'm fairly certain I'll have number four. I like number four as much as anybody else, but I don't think there's enough work for all of these people. And just think about the other version of it. The other version of it would be, imagine if a truck showed up in Shanghai and. And 40Americans just got out of the truck and started wandering around. What do you think China would do? It would not be pretty, I promise you that. Let's jump over to the Communist country known as California, where anti ICE protesters did something illegal. This is blocking the 101 freeway and had a standoff with the LA Police Department. And unfortunately, it appears that they won. All right? So the police eventually Stepped down, they stood down and those people just continued. Now, first off, if you're in, I don't know if those people are legal or illegal. I'm assuming it's a mix of both. And California deserves everything that it's getting because. Because you guys have voted for this and you don't seem to get it. To take over a highway is illegal. So every one of those people, illegal or legal, should be arrested immediately. You cannot just take over a highway. Except I guess in some places you can, because they let them do that. That's one thing. The other thing is they're all waving Mexican flags, right? I did see one American flag there. But why? If you fled Mexico to come to America, which is great, and now you wanna stay in America, whether you got here legally or illegally, wouldn't you wave the American flag? Cause that's a place you wanna stay, stay in. Why are you waving the flag of the place that you just left? Unless there's something far more nefarious going on here? I think there might be. Let's jump in the time machine and go all the way back to 2007. Here's a young upstart politician named Barack Hussein Obama. And interestingly, he thought border security was pretty cool back then. I think we should have strong border security. It doesn't make sense for us to allow hundreds of thousands of people coming through our borders without us knowing who they are. Oftentimes in very hazardous situations and unmonitored situations that could do us long term damage. So what happened to the Democrats? Why is it that we can show you millions of examples of this sort of thing? Chuck Schumer making sense of trade deals with China seven years ago. Barack Obama 15 plus years ago. That's 18 years ago. Making sense when it came to immigration, what happened to the Democrats? We will have more on that in just a second. But first, 1775 coffee. All right, so we've talked tariffs, we've talked immigration. We're going to talk in a moment on how crazy the Democrats have gone. But for just a second. You know, we had that horrific plane crash over the Potomac river last week. We're still finding out more information on that. This Blackhawk helicopter, which appears at least, at the very least, it was somehow negligent, flying probably 100ft higher than it was supposed to, hitting this commercial airline or no survivors on Friday's View program. Have you heard of the View? They had a very bizarre intro to the disaster. The disaster where dozens of people died suddenly seemed very funny to everybody. Welcome back. There's so much happening in Washington, D.C. that we have a lot to talk about with Senator Elizabeth Warren who is joining us from our nation's capital right now because she can't go anywhere. She's kind of stuck. But you know, we always love it when you come to us, Senator Warren. So I'm Sarah. Sarah. Sarah has the first question. Yes, one Senator. We do have a lot to talk about, but we're going to start on a hard note. We want to ask you about the devastating plane crash last night. We're sending our thoughts, all of us here, and prayers to everybody affected by this disaster. You're in Washington right now. What's the mood like there? Look, you have hit the number one thing. It's about the families, the sad news that it appears no one survived. And my heart goes out to them. And I think everyone feels that way. Yeah. As if she has a heart. So you can just. This isn't the most important clip we're playing today. But they're laughing about the fact she's trapped in D.C. because of the plane. I mean, it's just a perfect clip of the View. They're laughing about a tragedy and then Whoopi doesn't even know who her co star. Who the fuck are you? Like, you just gotta love what's going on over there. Here's Sunny Hostin. Yeah, I'm not going to dignify his remarks about dei. I'm not going to do that. But to Anna's point, just last week, Trump fired the heads of the Transportation Security Administration and Coast Guard and he also eliminated all the members of a key aviation security advisory group. The Aviation Security Committee will technically continue to exist, but it won't have any members to carry out the work of examining safety issues at airlines and airports. I think that that is very telling, that when, you know, voters decide that they want someone to blow things up and they want someone to blow up infrastruct structures, this is the result. No, that was a total fallacy, what you did right there. Now, did people vote Donald Trump to blow some things up, like the deep state and figure out where all our tax dollars are going and to redo international deals and all those things? Yes. Is there any evidence that because somebody was fired last week that somehow this pilot was flying up too high or something like that? No, there is no evidence of it. On Friday's show, when we were with Russell Brand and Sage Steele and Jillian Michaels, we were talking about this, about when is it that we should talk about what the issues are. Do we know if this had something to do with Di Di or not? We don't know exactly. But we do know that there's a reason that most of these institutions have to be blown up, which is that we have hired incompetent people across the board. Speaking of incompetent people, Pete Buttigieg, who was the mayor of South Bend, Indiana, had absolutely no qualifications to be Transportation secretary. He's no longer transportation secretary now, but he did post this on the Twitter machine. Despicable. As families grieve Trump, Trump should be leading, not lying. We put safety first, drove down close calls, grew air traffic control and had zero commercial airline fatalities out of millions of flights on our watch. President Trump now oversees the military and the faa. One of the first acts was to fire and suspend some of the key personnel who helped keep our skies safe. Time for the president to show actual leadership and explain what he will do to prevent this from happening again. Look, nobody wants planes crashing into helicopters. Everyone wants to feel that when you board a commercial flight or any flight that you are going to be safe. But over time, think about it. Just over time, guys, when you say we will hire you for this job not because you're the best of the best, but for some other reason, then as things go, as the years go by, you will degrade all of the systems. That's why I've said it on the show for years. You will then ultimately have heart surgeons who are not the best heart surgeons, you will have pilots who are not the best pilots. You all have air traffic controllers who are not there. Oh, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. So we don't know that this specific instance was lit. Was connected to all of that, but we know that it didn't have anything to do with someone just getting fired last week. Thus, a plane, a helicopter crashed into a plane. Like, it's completely, completely ridiculous. By the way, a year ago or about a year and A half ago, 20, 23, Pete Buttigieg was worried about these near collisions. How concerned are you? I'm very concerned. We watch these things very closely. If you look at the last decade or so, you would see between 10 and 20 times a year, 10, typically, that this would happen. This year, we're on track to have more than 20. And even one is one that I would not like to see happen. Oh. So these near misses, they were actually going up on your watch. Now, again, I'm not blaming Pete. I'm blaming the idea that he believes in, which is this equity idea that we should not hire the best people. And then he's like, oh, and the numbers are going up. Like, you might want to make the connection there. But this is a wild video. We wanted to show you this topic last week, and it didn't quite fit. But this is during the confirmation hearing of. Biden tried to appoint a guy by the name of Phil Washington to head the faa. He was going to be the FAA administrator. And this is during his confirmation hearing, which, thankfully, he did not get confirmed. I think you will see why, in large part thanks to Ted Cruz. You ever flown a plane? Thank you for the question, Senator. No, I have never flown a plane. So you weren't a military pilot or a commercial airline pilot? No, Senator. Have you ever worked for an airline? No, Senator. Have you ever worked as an air traffic controller? No, Senator. Have you ever worked for a company that manufactures airplanes? No, Senator. Have you ever worked for a company that fixes airplanes? No, Senator. FAA administrator is a specialized position. I'm not qualified to be FAA administrator. I have no idea how to fly a plane. No one in their right mind would put me in charge of aviation safety because I don't have that experience. I suspect most of the members of this committee are in a similar position. You get it, guys? So Mr. Washington there did not get confirmed, thankfully. But the point is, over time, when you try to push all of these people into a system, it's like trying to push a round peg into a square hole. It doesn't quite fit. Now can you make it fit? Yeah, you can make it fit. And they made it fit for a long time. So our systems stopped working as effectively as they should. And now Trump and JD and Elon and everybody else are going in and yes, people are being fired and we are looking where we can cut budgets and all of those things. And there is going to be a pain point with all of that. But blaming the helicopter hitting the plane for that is completely ridiculous. Guys, let's talk about quality of life for a minute and then we'll get to some of the other confirmation hearings that are happening right now. Let me ask you about something. All right, so let's jump over to cnn. CNN is a former news organization. It's on the verge of shutting its doors, but it's gonna hang on for a little while. And it's mostly a clown show of people who are obvious propagandists and general assorted clowns. Let's say there's a woman by the name of Kara Swisher over there, she's a far left activist. She's very concerned that Bobby Kennedy's gonna kill people. To be honest, I was more impressed with RFK after his hearing than, and in fact with Tulsi Gab think some of the attacks on RFK are just absolutely ridiculous. At the end of the day, regardless of what RFK's position is on the vaccine or anything, Donald Trump is president of the United States and he has to follow Donald Trump's agenda. And it was Donald Trump who got us Operation Warp Speed at the time that people like Kamala Harris was saying this, also said that he thinks that there, that vaccines cause autism, which is completely false. I mean, so the person in that position, I think it's right that lawmakers should say, do you believe in settled science or not? This is another example of lack of details. Not interested in the details. And I think he. RFK will do. He's an advocate. He is someone, and that's a nice way of putting it, he's religious about this in some way. And so he will do what it takes while he's in there to create destruction which will lead to the deaths of thousands and thousands of people. Unrest, necessarily unproven science. They are going to really go with all this stuff. Again, it's settled science. First off, there is mounting evidence now that vaccines, or at least the vaccine schedule, the amount of vaccines they are now giving kids in a briefer period, it's a constantly briefer period, that there is some connection to autism or it has something to do with heavy metals or something. I am obviously not an expert in this, but for them to say it's settled science. The same people who were telling you that, oh, the COVID vaccine, you will take it and not get nor transmit Covid. So CNN is just a pure ridiculous propaganda outlet. And of course this Kara Swisher lady, it's like, come on. Yes, Bobby's going to kill people. How about all of the people who are vaccine injured now because of COVID Right? Like, or of all the ridiculous things that you've done and the amount of anxiety that you've riddled our young people with because you didn't let them go to high school graduations and you lock them in their rooms and everything else. A perfect, you know, a tweet is worth a meme is worth a thousand words. Check this out from End Wokeness. I thought this was just perfect because, you know, everybody now, they're all calling all these people, they're calling Bobby Kennedy an extremist and it's. So there's the quote. RFK is an extremist. And of course, what you're looking at, there is a soldier trying to arrest a family for sitting on a beach during COVID And it's like, who is the extremist? Actually, you want a video of an extremist? Here is RFK calling out socialist, communist, millionaire 3 homeowning extremist, Bernie Sanders, for accepting millions of dollars from the pharmaceutical industry. I'm gonna make America healthier than other countries in the world right now. Will you guarantee? Do what every other major country does. It's a simple question. And by the way, Bernie, you know, the problem of corruption is not just in the federal agencies, it's in Congress too. Almost all the members of this panel are accepting, including yourself, are accepting millions of dollars from the pharmaceutical industry. Oh, no. Protecting their interests. Oh, I thought that that would come. No, no, no. I ran for president like you. I got millions and millions of contributions. They did not come from the executives. Not one nickel of PAC money from the pharmaceutical. They came from workers. 2020. In 2020, you were the single largest. Because I have pharmaceutical money from workers all over this country. Workers. Not a nickel from corporate tax. Bernie, with the single largest pharmaceutical dollars. Oh, from workers in 1.5 million. Yeah. Out of 200 million. All right, but you see what Bernie's doing there? He's obfuscating and lying because, yes, he was the single lodge person who took the money from the pharmaceutical industry. And that's. A lot of other people gave him some stuff too, but he's this guy. And why. And it's like, Bernie, if you got your 200 mil from all of these small donations, 26 bucks, as you said, then why did you need that extra 1.5 mil? So you raised $200 million where you campaign, that did nothing. And you've never produced anything other than hate of America, this country. So you did that. And that's very impressive. But why couldn't you do that on 199 million? You had to take the extra million from the tank. Bernie also made money selling books. Now, how did I get the money? You're right. I wrote two best selling books, including this book on capitalism. It was New York Times bestseller for a while. And also another book was a youth book, and that's. And I make, I don't know, 175,000 a year. And that's more or less how I became the zillionaire that I am. The same thing you have with Bernie Sanders. Wrote a book about capitalism, how much he hates capitalism. In a capitalist society, a talentless schwuck like that guy could make a million dollars. Is selling a book, hating the thing that he's doing. It's incredible. Nicole Shanahan, who was Bobby Kennedy, I think I might have just had an aneurysm. I may not make it through the rest of the show. You tried doing that for so long, it's a miracle Bernie Sanders is alive. Nicole Shanahan, who ran as Bobby Kennedy's VP choice. So this is a moderate woman, a lifelong Democrat, who they have radicalized into a Make America Healthy Again nut bad. She has just about had it. And she is now fighting for what I think is really the important piece of what MAGA is, which is that you're going to take the base, the maga America first people, and you're going to combine them with this Maha Make America Healthy Again people. So it's the ex libs, let's say, or the disaffected libs who are now being welcomed into the America first thing. And it's bipartisan and it's unity and it's going to be hard to hold, but that's what she's trying to do. The first thing my fiance said to me this morning as we were watching it was he looked over at me and he says, I don't think you hate these Democrats enough, based on their line of questioning, their attitude, their complete disregard for the impact of what they were saying and the fact that millions of Americans were hearing these words and hearing these unfounded criticisms of a guy who has given his life to the Democratic Party up until just recently. You know, I think they're shooting themselves in the foot right now because MAGA and maha, they're bipartisan. It's now a unity movement, and they're shooting themselves in their foot. The Democrats are going to lose so many more supporters, I think, after today. So congrats, Dems. You took someone like Bobby Kennedy with the last freaking name of Kennedy and you took somebody like Nicole Shannon. These are, in any other time, these are moderate Democrats. They might be a little extra lefty Democrats, actually. And you have combined them with Trump because you guys, like the giant housemaid in Spaceballs, both suck and blow. That's how it is. Okay? And there you have it, Rand. The fact that she was talking to Rand Paul there. You know, when, when I was at inauguration two weeks ago, I went to the Maha Ball. You know, there's all these events at night. I went to the Maha Ball where, where obviously Bobby Kennedy he was, and Jordan Peterson and Russell Brand and all the usual cast of characters. And Rand Paul was there and we started chatting and think about it. You've got Rand Paul, the most libertarian leaning senator in all of the United States government, and he is now coming together with all of these should be Democrats because they wanna get America healthy again and there's a certain set of people that hate them. It is quite bizarre. But speaking of bizarre, the other thing that's going on, of course, is that they are trying to confront Firm Tulsi as Director of National Intelligence. And this is the Bobby one. I see no way they could stop him because if they try to stop him, it's just going to upend so much craziness. Maybe they have a little bit of a better chance peeling a couple Republicans away from Tulsi because of the Snowden stuff. But here's Charlie Kirk on Megyn Kelly's podcast talking about how if they don't get these Trump nominees through that there are going to be some major fights and primaries going forward. We've said at Turning Point Action that if you oppose President Trump's nominees and you are from one of these red states, we are going to fund a primary challenge against you. We've been very open about that. And in fact, we were unafraid to issue those kinds of salvos during the whole Pete Hegseth situation in December and obviously helped contribute to the reversal and the pivot from that. I mean, Pete Hegseth went down from like a 1 to 2% chance of becoming Secretary of Defense to now just doing an extraordinary job. So I don't want to say, okay, what is the percentage chance of Tulsi advancing? If she gets out of committee, her chances will improve dramatically. Her fight is in the committee, which of course happens in the shadows and in the darkness. Okay, so we will see what happens. Obviously the big three that haven't been decided are Bobby Kennedy, Cash Patel over at FBI and Tulsi at dni. But I want to show you this video of JD Vance because he's making an important, important point here. These com. These hearings are not supposed to be hyper political. What the hearings are all supposed to boil down to is do you think this person is qualified for this job? Before I've said this, I say this basically every week now, but before, around 1998, when Joe Biden Senator from Delaware made the Supreme Court nomination process hyper political. Before that, you, you pretty much got your nominees through as president. Everyone understood unless someone, oh my God, they've got freaking dead babies in the closet. If they don't, you pretty much get through. Right. Unless there's something that's so freaking glaring. I don't know, like an FAA administrator that's never sat in a plane. That would be pretty disqualifying. But here's JD on what the process is supposed to be like. Actually, I think there's such an important message to my fellow Republicans here. Look, you don't have to agree with everything Bobby Kennedy has ever said. You don't have to agree with everything that Tulsi Gabbard has ever said. You are meant to ask, do they have the qualifications and the character to do this job? The person who decides whether they should be nominated in the first place, he was the guy elected by the American people. That's President Trump. And he deserves some deference in surrounding himself with the people he thinks he needs to do the job. Yeah, I think that's right. So, look, if you're a senator out there, particularly if you're a Republican senator, if you really think that there is something about Tulsi or Bobby or Cash that completely disqualifies them, then you have to make that case of why it is completely disqualifying. Not just, I don't really like them or I took a million bucks from the pharmaceutical industry or something else. Like, look, the Snowden question as it pertains to Tulsi is real, right? Snowden did reveal state secrets. Now, was the state doing some bad things and surveilling us and then lying about it? Absolutely. Absolutely. Is there an issue around having somebody that works in the government then just release that information? Should states be allowed to have secrets? There's an interesting philosophical debate we can have right there. What do you do about that? Should we have a mechanism in place somehow, some sort of nonpartisan, if such a thing exists, where if somebody that works for the government finds out the government's doing something really evil, they can go and deal with that privately as opposed to just leaking in from. Like, there's some discussion around that. But have that. That discussion with Tulsi. So we'll. We'll see what happens with all of that. But let's jump over to the Democrats, because as whether you agree with Bobby, whether you agree with Shanahan, whether you agree with any of these people, whether you agree with what JD Just said right there, Trump is now president. And I would say in the last two weeks, a lot of good things are happening. And then the question is, well, what has to happen with the Democrats? Do they just continue going down this abyss of racism and gender confusion, lunacy, or do they reconstitute? Now, frankly, I see no reason for them to. I see no way they reconstitute because all of the good Democrats are basically now Republicans. Anyway, the Democrats had a big debate over who is going to be the next chair of the Democratic National Committee. And they brought up a whole bunch of people on stage and. Well, why don't we start with Dr. Quintessa Hathaway. And we'll begin with the opening statements. Each candidate will have 30 seconds, and we'll start with Dr. Quintessa Hathaway. Good evening, everyone. It is my desire to be the next DNC chair, and I just want to give you all a little bit of something that's been on my heart here over the last couple days. You fight on, you fight on? You fight on? You fight on. When your government is doing you wrong, you fight on. Oh, you fight on. Racism has not gone away since 20 people of African descent came upon these shores at Jamestown, Virginia, in 1619. And it's going to require us to think and behave in a new way. It is systemic. It is structural. When it comes to addressing diversity, equity, inclusion, access and belonging. That is for all people of the United States. That must come across the voting line as well. This is everyone's America. Our story has a new form of glory that must come to our shores as well. Yes. Yes. That's all well and good, lady. I do want to say something that's been pretty heavy on my heart lately, and I guess I could do it in song form as well. You people are fucking bananas. You're all completely insane. Good luck with that shit that nobody wants. We should have a band in here. That's the next version of the Ruben Report. We're getting a band. That woman was just one of the many people that they brought on stage. You could. I also loved in that video, you see the two white guys. I don't know. That guy was. The middle guy, was a little white. I don't know, whatever. Who cares about any of this stuff? But they're just looking at her like, Jesus Christ, why am I on a stage with this woman? But anyway, they took a poll about why they lost the election. You're going to love this one in this round. So I'm going to. I have a show of hands. How many of you believe that racism and misogyny played a role in Vice President Harris's defeat? Okay, wow. Wait, were those Nazi salutes? We're going to have to examine. Good for them while getting their wrists up like that because most of these people are like this. But they were all did it. Racism. Here is former Democratic National Committee chair Jamie Harrison. And if you can make any sense out of this, I'd like to send you a gift. Our rules specify that when we have a gender non binary candidate or officer, the non binary individual is counted as neither male nor female. And the remaining six officers must be gender balanced with the results of the previous elections. Our elected officers at this point are currently two male and two female. In order to be gender balanced, we must have had one male, one female and one person of any gender. What? You remember Danny Glover in Lethal Weapon, Particularly in the some of the Seagulls. He's getting older, he's too old to be a cop and Mel Gibson keeps getting him in a whole bunch of trouble. And then what does he say 10 times throughout each movie? I'm getting too old for this. That's where we're at. Who? What? What? What? Got another tweet from End Wokeness here. This is who they elected to be the DNC Vice Chair in order to win back young men and. Yes. So David Hogg. We'll have more on that in a second. You guys know David Hogg and then this other guy wearing a mask asking what appears to be a woman. Good for them bringing a heterosexual over there to marry him while they're both wearing masks. That's David Hogg and Malcolm Kenyatta here is. So they are now the new vice chairman, which sounds like a bigoted word. They are the new vice chairman of the Democrat National Committee. Here's Kenyatta going on and on about Beyonce. And then. And then we'll get to hug Democrats, in the words of Beyonce, America has a problem, but Democrats, we're about to fix it. God bless you. Thank you so much. Let's get to work. David Hog, first of all. Thank you, Chairman Harrison. Can we give a round of applause to Jamie. You. Thank you. Thank you. Who's ready to take the fight to the Republicans and win this thing? Are you guys ready to fight? It's been a long day, but guess what? We have a long road ahead. Let's go and kick some ass. All right, so you guys know I'm more of a Tina Turner guy than a Beyonce guy, so I can't speak to that quote. But I would say if you want to get up there, if you're ahead of a Democrat committee and you want to get up there and make some Sense. You would quote Tina Turner. Right. I'm a private dancer. A dancer for money. I'll do what you want me to do. That would make a hell of a lot more sense for you people. Okay? But that's it. They've got David Hogg. They've got David Hogg who's a complete lefty socialist America hating whack job. And then they've got Malcolm Kenyatta and that guy likes Beyonce. So good luck Democrats. James Carville, you know James Carville, he's an old kooky guy who big Kamala Harris supporter. Did not know about. Very fine people on both sides. I had to correct him on real time. You remember that one? And here are, are. I love these types of videos. The people who get everything wrong every. Everything wrong all the time. Then they try to explain that oh, they screwed up, but it has nothing to do with that. And, and, and you say that the Democrats started their seventh string quarterback in trying to win in both super bowl. Played seven string quarterback. Yeah. Right. And, and we had to, we weren't allowed to have trial. Okay. Meaning a primary. Yeah. Where people would go. If you would have had Bill Clinton and Barack Obama hosting a forum in Los Angeles. Okay. With six potential Democratic presidential campaigns, you could have put the thing in a coliseum and it would have filled up. Okay. There would have been interest. There would have been, you know, two successful people that know something about being president having a conversation. Well, Governor, well, how would you address this? What would you do instead? We got a person that, you know, embraced every goofy identity idea of 2019, 2020, who ran a campaign. It didn't run on change. I mean she wasn't actually was if anything about. She played well for a seventh string quarterback. Well, James, it's nice that they do the interviews for you at the old age home, but why didn't you say any of that during the election? Wouldn't that have been interesting? Instead of shilling for Biden until they got rid of him and then immediately jumping over and shilling for Kamala Harris. How about you had said any of that? Now frankly, I don't care because what you have done is destroy the Democrat party which needed to be destroyed. And now you people are left with Beyonce guy and David Hogg. So good luck with all of that. And you know what? We've got a guy now in charge of America who's here for everybody and he's been pretty freaking consistent over many decades. The world is made up of people with either killer instincts or without killer instincts. And the People that seem to emerge all the time. It doesn't mean they're the best people, and it doesn't mean they're the happiest people. And in fact, many, in many cases, and in most cases they're probably not. But the people that seem to emerge is other people that are competitive and driven and with a certain instinct to win. You use the word competitive and driven, I'd like to know what drives you. Enjoyment, Pure and simple. Enjoyment. Yeah. And that's it, guys. Like, that's what the America we could get back to right there. How is it that that guy, for decades now has been basically directionally right about everything? All of the craziness and wackiness and tweets and all the silly stuff aside, that's the choice America you want that guy who wants enjoyment to be part of the American experience. You know that pursuit of happiness. A bunch of old guys who wore wigs put that in some documents that used to mean a little something, and now suddenly that guy's president and we're restoring actual sense in our policies so that we will have fair deals with other countries and we'll have borders that make sense, and we'll look to those founding documents and go, boy, this was pretty damn good, and we shouldn't have given it away. And that is our show for today. I thank you for watching the program. I do hope you'll come back tomorrow, but either way, we'll be right here. Post game show in 20 seconds@rubinreport.locals.com.
