Are straight queers for Palestine is very different than Palestine for queer. All right, what's going on, people? It is June 22, 2026. I'm Dave Rubin. This is the Rubin Report, and you can see we have slightly removed at least a portion of our contraption to keep my arm up here. I went to my checkup this morning. We did more X rays. I'm healing well. Probably a couple more weeks in this thing. Then we start some physical therapy, July 1, stem cells, and we will see what happens. But I really do want to thank everybody for the kind words and people who are offering all sorts of therapeutics and ideas and ways to recover better. And I do appreciate it. I just have to say it's very rare for me, but I really was in a bit of a depression last week after this thing. And I'm rolling into my 50th on this Friday, the 26th is my 50th birthday. And I've been feeling so good about and physically and emotionally and spiritually and all that stuff. And then this thing just happened out of nowhere. And I try not to get too lost in the comments when they're good or when they're negative, but there was a real outpouring of love. And then, of course, Father's Day was great and all that. So I hope everybody's good. I'm feeling pretty good. A little bit of pain, but feeling good about life and the state of the world. So let's do some stuff. We're going to start with, get you caught up on what's going on with these Iran negotiations. Then I think it happened just this morning. Keir Starmer stepping down as UK Prime Minister. There's been rumors about this for weeks. The guy has been ineffectual and I would say pretty terrible across the board. He is on his way out a little bit from the Chicago opening of the Obama Library, which is perhaps the ugliest building in American history. And then we'll end with some positive stuff on AI and the future. So let's dive in. So right now, negotiations are happening in Switzerland between America, between Iran, Pakistan is somehow involved. Qatar, which is barely a country other than they have a crapload, boatload of money. So they're somehow they have their fingerprints on everything. They're there. And as you know, J.D. vance is leading the American delegation now. There was all sorts of stuff over the weekend, and I try not to tweet too much or pay too much attention on the weekends. There was all sorts of stuff. Rumors, conjecture. Is this thing falling apart? Is it happening? I'm not gonna get too deep into any of that stuff. I'm gonna try to keep it as factually based, like actual statements and concrete things as possible. So to give you the cleanest update, here is where we are at, according to JD Right now.

Yesterday was a very, very good day. We made a lot of good progress. We did exactly what we wanted to do. We which has accomplished four things for the American people. First, we wanted to build a mechanism for keeping the Strait of Hormuz open. It is open. We've seen, of course, gas prices and oil prices come down. Millions and millions of barrels of crude and natural gas flowing through the Strait of Hormuz that weren't flowing before. Number two, we also wanted to build a mechanism, a similar mechanism for deconfliction, for the regional ceasefire. As the President of the United States has himself said, sometimes these ceasefires just mean you're shooting a little bit less. But we wanted to make sure that we had the proper coordination set up so that if there is shooting, if Hezbollah fires at Israel or if Israel responds, if there are other conflicts that arise in the region, we're actually talking to each other and figuring out how to stop the shooting, how to make the region safer, our allies and everybody else.

Okay, so we're going to get to some of the rest of the stuff that was discussed, but basically the negotiations seem to have moved forward a little bit. Strait of Hormuz is open at the moment. Now, you might say, Dave, the Strait of Hormuz was open before this whole thing began. So is that much of an accomplishment? Well, it's been closed, so that has reopened. That's good. Then figuring out how to deal with Hezbollah, which is a terrorist organization funded by Iran that's in Lebanon, that the Lebanese president even said last week they want them out. If Iran will stop funding them and they stop firing rockets into Israel, then Israel will stop firing rocke rockets into Lebanon. So hopefully there's a little bit of movement on there. There is something weird going on with the negotiations in that Israel, which not only was fighting alongside of America throughout this, but is getting the brunt of the hits.

Most of the rockets that Iran shot were at Israel. Hezbollah shooting out of Lebanon. They're not even invited to these negotiations. So in essence, you have a party that is, that is clearly integral into the future of the Middle east, whether some of these guys like it or not. And they're supposed to abide by negotiations that they're not even allowed to be at. So that does seem a little odd to me. But I think. All right, two points that he made right there. Also, gas prices do seem to be going down. Here's a little bit more.

Number three, we, and this is probably what we're most excited about as Americans, the Iranians have agreed to invite IAEA inspectors back into their country. That is a major milestone for the American people. And the step in permanently denuclearizing or permanently ending a nuclear weapons program in Iran.

[Dave Rubin]

Okay, so this one is interesting because obviously the whole point of this, Donald Trump, for 40 years, Iran should not get a nuclear weapon. They're not going to get a nuclear weapon. That was the position of Barack Obama. It was the position, the stated position of Joe Biden and presidents before them. And nobody wanted to do anything. So the idea that we've done massive military damage to the nuclear program, there is stuff that is buried that someone's going to have to figure out where it is and how to get it out and everything else, but that these inspectors will go back in. And as I've said, I've said it repeatedly last week, like, do I really trust these inspectors? I don't know. But here is where we're at, right? Like, I don't trust the UN at all. I would like to believe that the IAEA nuclear inspectors are a little more honest or a little less compromised perhaps, than just sending the U.N. yes, the U.N. is just going to wander in there. The U.N. by the way, was supposed to be in charge of South Lebanon to make sure Hezbollah wasn't building up rockets to attack Israel. They've been supposed to be doing that for the last 10 years or so, and they didn't do anything on that front. So maybe there's some movement there. But again, my hesitancy of all of this is that I believe Donald Trump will do everything that he can over the course of the next two and a half years to make sure Iran abides by whatever is signed and that they won't get nukes under him. The question is, if a Democrat comes in right after this, why wouldn't they just rip it up? And why wouldn't they build the freaking nuclear bomb and hand it to the Iranians? That's where we're at with the Democrats. Anyway, we'll get into a little bit of the drama of these negotiations because at first it looked like the Iranians were going to walk out altogether. Short video here of the Iranian delegation showing up to Switzerland. Now, the Americans were there first, which is also a lot of people say in these negotiations that if you're the party in power, you don't show up first. Okay, we've seen enough mafia movies, you could probably argue it either way. But here's the Iranian delegation leaving the venue amidst some of the craziness. Okay, so they just wandered out and you can see CJD's kind of looking around like, what the hell's going on here? However, they did come back. So again, a lot of this is just showmanship. You got to also keep in mind they want video clips that they can show on Iranian state tv. Like we walked in and we walked out and there was J.D. and everything else. So you have to take all of this stuff with a little bit of grain of salt. But here is JD on what actually happened when everyone sat down. Tell us what happened.

No, they didn't throw a wrench in the system. The thing with the Iranians, yes, they did threaten to walk out, or at least there were social media threats that they would walk out. But we were negotiating well past one in the morning yesterday, so they didn't walk out. And their technical team is still here in Bergenstock working with our technical team actually as we speak though I imagine maybe some of them are taking a break to watch this news conference.

Okay, so again, like there are some optics around this. They want to walk in, get video, walk out. But the teams are there, they are negotiating. And now there's this weird thing with Qatar again. Maybe throw up a map of the Middle East. Can we do one of those? Qatar is basically, you know, a lot of people call it. It's just like a souped up gas station. It basically is a tiny, tiny country. How many citizens, actual citizens of Qatar are there? I think only a couple hundred thousand if I'm not mistaken. And then they've imported, I think like a million foreigners and they take their IDs and they basically live as slaves. But it's basically just an oil producing sort of, well, you might call it an oligarchy, actually a real oligarchy. So you can see it's a tiny, tiny little nation, right? But it's got an insane amount of money and it has given billions of billions of dollars all across the Western world to fund education and a whole bunch of stuff. Much of the bad stuff happening in the west is because of Qatar, but because at the end of the day, they've got cash, they are involved in these negotiations. Iran was also firing rockets at them during some of this. But here is a video of Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman, and he was snubbing JD Here, which was a little bizarre.

Okay, so again, I don't want to get too lost in the optics stuff, but like, if that's Donald Trump, nobody walks by Donald Trump. So, like, what? And why was the Qatari guy. I mean, we've been, I would say, probably too friendly to the Qatari government. Why would he be snubbing JD Unless he was trying to signal to Iran like, I'm still with you guys. But I think one of the things that JD Is up against is that one day we are going to be post Trump one way or another, right? And Trump love him, hate him, whatever it is. The guy looms large. He walks in, he's the big gorilla in the room, right? He's the boss. As that video we showed you last week, I'm the boss. Like, everyone knows it. I've been in rooms with him and trust me, there is something. And some people have this. This kind of star power kind of thing. Like he walks into a room and everyone is just focused on him. Michael Jordan walks in a room, everyone's focused on him. Some people just have that. It transcends wealth or something. There's just an aura about somebody. And I think JD Was in that room. Clearly he just kind of didn't have that. Now, I'm not pooping on what's going on with the negotiations, cuz they do seem to be going well. But that's something that whoever comes after Trump is going to have to deal with that Trump was this absolutely unique thing. Is this absolutely unique thing. And other world leaders are going to look at whoever comes next and probably not see that. Then JD had this line that people were kind of mocking him for. Take a look.

I have joked that I have two very, very important people in my life, an Indian and a Pakistani. The Indian is my wife and the Pakistani is Field Marshal Munir. And I've probably talked to Field Marshal Munir more than I've talked to anybody else over the last three months. Would not be here without his statesmanship. He is, of course, a great military leader, but I think he showed himself to be a great diplomat.

All right, so he's got the Indian wife. Everyone knows that. And I do think he's going to have some problems when he eventually runs for president with the kind of woke. Right. People who don't like him having a brown wife. That's brown Indian, non Catholic wife, that's one thing. But then to sort of glaze the guy from Pakistan, it's like, Pakistan is not a friendly Western country. I get we were doing some of these negotiations in Islamabad, but like, to be, like, patting that guy as if he's so great, as if Pakistan is just such a wonderful country and everything else is, I don't know, a little bit silly, then this is the image that kind of went viral from so much of this. What you've got there, obviously, is jd. He's working on the laptop. That's the Qatari prime minister right over there, and obviously Jared Kushner over his shoulder. What's interesting about this picture is if you look at the card that's in the laptop, it looks like some sort of security clearance card. It's not JD's face on the card. And it's like, should the Qatari Prime Minister be looking something. Just the whole image of this thing, the optics of this thing, and Kushner over JD's shoulder, the whole thing feels kind of weird. But again, I'm really trying, guys, right now. I'm really trying to give it everybody the benefit of the doubt. Here we are two and a half months into this war, and we've concluded the military part. And I think everyone, whether you think JD made a silly joke or he got snubbed, he has said a few things that I thought were a little odd. I'm not even showing them today because it's just like maybe we're putting some pieces together here, and I think these guys just deserve the credit, just deserve a little bit of a leash with that. Now, the main sticking point still seems to be in terms of military, still seems to be Lebanon. The Lebanese government want Hezbollah out. Hezbollah is funded by Iran. And if Iran just shuts the money off, then this terrorist organization, which is basically holding Lebanon hostage, would have to leave, in essence. And then there's no border dispute between Israel and Lebanon. It would just go back to the way everything was on October 6, 2023, when there was a, you know, it's just a cold peace. We don't really like you, you don't really like us, but let's just let it be. Here's JD with a bit more on what's going on with Lebanon. Would you describe the progress on Lebanon? I know Mr. Arachi said it was very good progress. But what's your characterization of it?

[J.D. Vance]

Yeah, I would describe it as very good progress, too. I mean, look, we want a regional ceasefire, right? We want Hezbollah to stop firing at our friends in Israel. We want Israelis to be able to live in peace. We also want to make sure that, you know, when things happen, they don't spiral into a broader escalation. And so we've been, I think, very good at some setting up what we're calling a de confliction mechanism. But what it really is is to say that when things happen, the sides are actually talking to one another. Sometimes, you know, you've got a bit of a chicken and egg problem, that you've got a junior guy who fires a drone that didn't have approval from the high command. Okay. Of course, Israel has to respond to that. But then sometimes that response. We could actually have a better and more peaceful situation if Israel responds in the context of a conversation that's ongoing between Hezbollah, Lebanon, Israel and other partners in the region.

All right, again, some of this, I took the sling off, I got my arm and a thing here, everybody. It seems to me like some of that is just kind of gobbledygook and not exactly how the Middle east operates. And people only operate with power. And you have to sort of overwhelm your opponents because they'll just keep fighting trying to get you. And if you, like, think about it, if you were Israel and a group of terrorists are firing rockets through your borders and you have, I think it's about 300,000 people that are displaced from the north, like, what would we do? What would we do? So, okay, maybe it was a junior guy in Hezbollah that did it. But anyway, all of this to say they're trying to figure, it seems to me they're trying to figure out some solution there. The fact they're not even allowing Israel into the room on this seems, again, a little bit un. And for all of those woke. Right nutbags and Tucker and Megan and all you, I'm looking at you, who for months were saying, israel's in charge of Trump, Israel's in charge of Trump. Israel isn't even allowed to be at these negotiations because the Qataris and the Pakistanis and everyone else won't even sit down with them. That's how sort of ludicrous this whole thing is. But I do, again, I do trust Trump here, and I do think they are going to figure out a way either to make sure Iran does not fund Hezbollah, or if they do, that there's going to be an overwhelming military response. This from Trump on truth. Iran must immediately stop their highly paid proxies in Lebanon from causing trouble. If they don't, we'll hit Iran very hard again, just like we did last week, only harder. President DONALD J. Trump. So it's interesting that Trump's putting that up while they're all having the talks. So JD's going, we should all talk. Let's figure this thing out. Hey, a junior guy fired over something. Maybe you don't have to respond. So crazy. Let's all get on the phone, Kumbaya. And Trump saying, hey, it's as simple as this. Put it up one more time. I mean, he's basically just like, if you highly paid, he knows who's paying him, right? It's Iran paying him. And if you don't. So this is carrot and stick. This is peace through strength and everything else. So I do sense, again, I am skeptical as hell. I really am. But I am not going to run around. I'm not going to be a panic. After all this time, I can't emote too much. That's what I'm learning. I'm just not going to be. I just think we have to give the thing a chance. And let's see what happened. Look, here's what he's done. He's ended a conflict on terms that, frankly, I think politically the American people are going to agree with. Iran has agreed they will not pursue or have nuclear weapons. They have to be held to that. These people have to be held accountable. And no one should trust them any farther than they can throw them. But that's what they've agreed to. The Strait of Hormuz is going to open, the oil is going to flow, and that's going to bring down energy prices. You know, as Paul and I have argued on this network many times, the war was, you know, somewhat unpopular in the polling. Ending the war, therefore, is probably going to be popular, particularly if gas prices go down and the Iranians are held to account when it comes to nuclear weapons. So I think the President here, he destroyed their military, their navy is at the bottom of the ocean, they have no air force to speak of. And they've agreed on paper at least, to give up any ambitions for nuclear weapons. I think the President's right to call it a win.

Yeah, I agree with that. Obviously, the, on paper, at least, that's the key part. Are we gonna trust these IAEA inspectors Are they really gonna know where to go? And are the Iranians gonna do things on the DL? Are they gonna have Pakistan on the DL building them nuclear weapons that they could maybe move over there? Like who the hell knows? But I would say to not. It sounds so ridiculously corny. Like in this case give peace a chance. Like, let's just see. So we'll pause on that. We'll move on to some other stuff. Britain's Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced Monday that he will resign following a mounting revolt inside the Labour Party after devastating local election losses, the resignation of government ministers and growing pressure from senior members of his own cabinet. Starmer said he would step down as prime minister and labor leader after concluding he could no longer unite the party, but is expected to remain in office until a successor is chosen. The announcement follows weeks of turmoil inside Britain's ruling party after Labour lost roughly 1,500 council seats and control of more than 25 councils in local elections last month, according to reporting from UK Outlets. The losses were fueled by major gains from Nigel Farage's reform UK Party in Labour's traditional strongholds and by Green Party advances in urban areas. Starmer's domestic troubles deepened after a damaging dispute with President Trump over the Iran conflict earlier this year. The British prime minister initially resisted U.S. requests to use British bases during the military operations against Iran, prompting Trump to criticize him publicly, saying, this is not Winston Churchill that we're dealing with on March 3, and Winston Churchill he is not. Now, there's something interesting here about the British electorate, because if you were listening to that. So basically, Nigel's party, which is. That's so that's the more nationalist party, you might think of them a little bit more of the Republican Party. Let's say the Labor Party is more the Democrat Party. So they lost because Nigel's party did extremely well, gained a few seats and they are talking about strong borders and deportation, everything else. But the counter to that is the Labour Party also lost to the Green Party. And the Green Party is basically our progressive movement. It is the Free Palestine wackos, and they hate their country and all of the stuff. That's them. So something very strange happened. You might argue that Starmer, who was awful, Starmer, was basically Biden. It was just like you're supposed to be kind of moderate, lefty, but you're just absolutely awful. Well, he wasn't awful enough for the Greens, so they went after him and they did well. And then on the right now, Nigel's party did well. So Starmer's screwed. He's just been terrible also. And by the way, this is to the backdrop of the massive report by Rupert Lowe last week about the 250,000 girls who were molested and raped by these British Muslim Pakistani gangs over the course of at least a decade. So there's so much bad stuff around this guy, it's just kind of crazy. But here's a little bit of his resignation speech.

That's one part of it. You want them to believe the right things and act honorably and okay, whatever else. But like, that guy, Keir Starmer, he's just, you're just a nothing in a suit. Like, you're just nothing in a suit. And I think what JD with some of those snubs that he was experiencing is gonna have to figure out how to level up again. I'm all for these negotiations. And it's driven up premiums and deductibles for Americans, rich or poor, black or white, all across this country. So I think it's indicative that the rental rates are going up because of this library, because the health care rates have gone up because of his health care policy. All right, let's talk about Gavin Newsom, because he was one of the people that showed up at the Barack Obama library, and he's in a bit of hot water at the moment. This from the Sacramento Bee. Federal investigators are digging into the finances of Gavin Newsom and his wife, first partner Jennifer Siebel Newsom. The governor calls it a political attack tied to his expected 2028 presidential run. The Trump administration's Justice Department is probing the Newsom ties to nonprofits, taxes and business dealings going back years. The U.S. department of justice is investigating Siebel Newsom's taxes and non profits connected to her and the governor, with several probes ongoing for about a year that originated from whistleblower complaints to the U.S. attorney's office in Sacramento. IRS and FBI agents have approached staff, friends and associates of the Newsoms in recent weeks and obtained their bank records. The governor's office said the probe intensified after Todd Blanche became acting head of the Department of Justice. One of the investigations is connected to Dana Williamson, Newsom's former chief of staff, who pleaded guilty to fraud and lying to the FBI last month and faces up to 38 years in prison. Siebel Newsom earned about $2.3 million from the Representation Process Project nonprofit between 2011 and 2018. A 2021 Sacramento Bee investigation found more than $800,000 in donations to the nonprofit from companies that lobby the governor, including PGE, AT&T and Kaiser Permanente. Just days before the DOJ probe became public, the state's Fair Political Practices Commission fined Newsom $31,500 for failing to report $5.6 million in charitable donations donations on time, with most going to the California Fire foundation during the 2025 Los Angeles wildfires. Newsom was late filing reports on so called behested payments 34 times in 2025. And the governor has previously been fined for failing to disclose 14 million in donations between 2019 and 2024. Okay, so there's a lot there. And let me just say, these government investigations happen and you usually know what happens. We all get worked up about it and nobody ever pays the price and everything else. I despise Gavin Newsom. I think he is an evil lizard man. Does it seem like something is there? Yes. Does his wife seem like she's involved in some stuff? And why was she making so much money from these nonprofits? And were nonprofits getting like, who gets all these government contracts? Like there's just so much and we just know about the fraud and the laundering in Cali. Everything feels weird. Here's a bit more from Wall street apes. Gavin Newsom's wife was laundering herself so much money from her NGO, she was actually in the top 5% for pay from all charities in the entire nation. But that's not all. Gavin Newsom bought his 3.7 million dollar Sacramento estate. It was done through an LLC, but that LLC doesn't seem to have appeared on his tax returns. There's a lot of questions. He's released, at least partly to journalists in closed door viewing sessions, his tax, tax returns. And if you look at that his income, it's about 1.2 to 1.4 million a year. And it just doesn't add up for all of his expenses. He's got massive mortgages, $625,000 in mortgage payments, and he's got at least 1 million in living expenses. And the two just don't add up. When I had a look at Jennifer Newsom's charity, I found that she was paying herself since 2012, 3.7 million. And this is a lot of money. When you look at the amount the charity brings in, it's sort of a 1 to 1.7 million a year and she's paying up to a third of that to herself and her own company. $300,000 a year. Now, I did a bit of data analysis, looking at what charities that size usually pay their executives, and she was in the top 5% of all charities in the nation for pay. In the video included more instances where Gavin Newsom laundered money to his wife. A million to block a casino project, 5 million to an office his wife has created, and he spent 300 from his donor PG&E to his wife's NGO. Okay, so again, I don't know that anything will come of this. It all feels very strange. She was clearly taking a huge amount of money from these nonprofits that she was working at. And what were the connections between these nonprofits and government contracts and things, laws that got passed and everything else? They did show up to the Obama library. Apparently they had IDs, and they were able to go, and here's a reporter asking them, and just. They're just so slimy. We heard from the governor, but we haven't heard from you yet about this investigation. What do you want to say?

Because Gavin Newsom is the. The single biggest narcissist perhaps in the history of the world and all of these guys. Gav, you loved Elon for decades when he was building all of these things and you got all the revenue out of all of his companies. And then the second he just had different political views, mostly around free speech, you started going after him. And now he has left Cali and taken his companies out of Cali and you're losing all of that revenue, which you're gonna have to make up somehow. But you used to love him. But that you can sit there. Do I have a technical dictionary definition? I think we got something coming here. The technical definition of a narcissist, an individual showing symptoms of or affected by narcissism, such as an extremely self centered person who has an exaggerated sense of importance. Who does that sound like? Like Elon is. Because Elon. The irony of Elon. I don't need to sit here and glaze Elon, but the irony of Elon is if anyone was allowed to be an egomaniac or a narcissist, I would say it's the guy who's building the rockets. I would say it's the guy who's building the robots. I would say it's the guy who's allowing paraplegics and quadriplegics to play chess with their mind. The guy who's building underground tunnels, you might say, you know, it comes with a little bit of ego. It's kind of earned. Where with this ding dong, Gavin, everything you've touched has turned to. To crap except your bank account. And then you go off on someone else's narcissism. I find that hard to believe. But what is nice is the worse that these lefties are, the worse that they are obvious in their anger and in their delusion and in their narcissism and their inability to govern properly and everything else. And you can go skiing and at the beach in the very same day and all of those things that it should be the place that is Flor. You have so many advantages that you would think it would be flourishing more than anything else. And yet less people from Florida now leave during the summer because it's going so well here. And I will tell you, it is hot and there's a couple mosquitoes. To Bill's point, though, about how bad higher education is overall, this meme was going around. I think this is kind of effective before and after the first image. That woman before and after cocaine, she was definitely doing better before the guy. Before and after alcohol, that guy was definitely. I mean, that's a lot of drinking right there. The crack lady. Crack lady doesn't look so terrible. If anything, this is slightly pro crack crack, this meme. But that's not the point. The point is college and That's a real image. I asked the guys, like, this doesn't seem to be real, but that girl in the blue dress there, one year later, is the other one. That college does do something to these kids. And it's hard to believe that some of this woke crap is still going on, but it still is. Here are some videos of elementary school kids waving rainbow flags and celebrating Pride Month. Let me say something here. I don't have a problem with being gay. There was a gay guy sleeping in my bed last night. Okay, so it's not about that. But what does this have to do with a public education? What does it have to do with these little kids who know nothing about gay or straight or anything else? Why do you need to teach them, whether it's Pride Month or anything else, that. Okay, so some guy in a dress is going to show up, up, and you're gonna hold rainbow flags and wave them while this guy in a dress tells you a story.

What? Like, it just. It's so bananas. How does this keep happening? Why? What is the obsession with making these kids think about gender and sexuality? Like, they'll get there in time, right? Look at the New York Times this weekend. It was Father's Day. So what did they put out to my daughter? My gender was never complicated. And look at this quote. So you have a little kid walking with the father. How long did you have breasts for? Dad, you can't grow a beard. You're a girl. And then the other kid saying to the other kid, my dad did. And he was a girl who. I need the painkillers. You know what? I'm reversing my thing. That's it. This whole week. No painkillers at night. Painkillers, dairy.

You want me to snort some relief factor right now? This is insane. Why? Okay, there's the edge case right there. There's the edge case of the person who transitioned and now married somebody and they've got kids. But it's Father's Day. How novel would it have been? Like they had a meeting at the New York Times to say, what are we going to put up for our op ed on Father's Day? They could have put up a story of, I don't know, a father raising his son. That would have been probably the most kind of boilerplate thing you could do for the most amount. But it's propaganda being pushed all the time, whether it's the schools, whether it's the New York Times, or whether it's that. That you've got a month for this nonsense again. And that has nothing to do with being anti gay or anything else on actual Friends, my other podcast last week, I could only join for a few minutes because of my shoulder, but here's Jillian and Dr. Drew and Sage and Jillian, who happens? Gillian. She's a lesbian. What are we gonna do? She's a lesbian. She's a woman. She's married to a woman. Not that there's anything wrong with it. And here she is pointing out that giving this thing a month month is completely ludicrous.

And Pride Month continues because it has been co opted by places like Target to sell small children like gender affirming bathing suits so they can tuck their genitalia. It has turned into something that infuriates people, that forces this down their throat and they truly resent it. And the reality is that when you give gay people a month and veterans a day, I think you have wildly lost sight of your. Your values and your priorities.

Yeah. And she's right. And it's obvious. And it's why there is a little bit, unfortunately of a backlash against normal gay people. Because Gillian doesn't want anything to do with this thing. I don't want anyone. I don't want anything to do with this thing. And you're right. And you know how you know that they pushed it on us and it was all artificial and it still continues. But do you remember for those two, three years at the height of woke, when Target literally was doing those things, you'd walk into Target in June and they'd have these giant rainbow things everywhere. And for kids, it was always, you know, you walk in and it's the kids things right there. And they quite literally, literally had underwear so that boys could tuck. Like completely absurd stuff. And then woke started breaking and went down. And then they just got rid of all of it. There's none of it there anymore. But if it was a good financial decision, it would still be there. That's the beauty of capitalism. Capitalism always wins. So at the end of the day, even if woke had kind of gone down, but they were like, you know, we still are actually selling a lot of these shirts. They would still have them there, but they don't have them there because it wasn't done for the purposes of. Of capitalism or selling things. It was done for the purposes of propaganda. Now this is good. We're going to jump back to one more with Bill because we are coming just two weeks away now from America's 250th birthday. And I'm telling you, this inherent burst of patriotism we're going to get in the country, it's going to really help things because we have one party that for whatever their flaws are and whatever infighting there is, is pro American and one party that simply is not. Every election year, Democrats seem to remember patriotism for about an hour at their convention when they're trying to win back swing voters. The whole message of Kamala's speech in 2024 was take back the flag. That's why she talked about America like a pageant contestant.

Bill continues just that. Slow motion move to ultimate. It's not that he's going to be a conservative with a capital C, but he is now trying to conserve liberalism and knows that the Democrats are not doing it. Also, the line on Kamala, he's completely right. You can't be anti American all the time. So at a convention you have to put up some American flags. My guess is around July 4th, we'll see a few more quasi pro America things coming out of all of the America hating progressives because you gotta fake it every now and again. But it doesn't even make sense to fake in that hour where they fake it. It doesn't make sense. Because if your argument is America is racist and it's systemically this and it was founding was awful, but all of those things. Right. And the Gestapo is here and the Nazis. If your argument is any of that stuff, then you would never celebrate it. Right. But they have. But he pointed out they have to bring some of the swing books voters back. I just don't think it's going to work much longer. But to get back to their radicalness, we don't have to do much with Kamala these days. But you went on Don Lemon's podcast and yes, they fundamentally want to rejigger the order that set up this great system. Like, I don't know, checks and balances. Does that sound like something that would be possible and do you think that it should be expanded for however many. He says 13 because of 13 circuits.

No, we should not. We have to explore what we need to do. Another one of her standard statements. Lady, would you want to pack the Supreme Court if you had a court going in your direction? And of course the answer is no. Would you want to change the Electoral College if that was going in your direction? He's a journalist from Fox News. I've met him a couple times. He put a tweet up that is, I think indicative of something I've been saying for quite some time. In the split of where America is going, he wrote, we are heading towards 2000-30s in which it's likely that communists control our major cities. But owing to the sense of conservatives will control the federal government, that's gonna be one hell of a dynamic. That's what I keep saying that cities will be Democrat run. People that live there, you live on top of people. You need more control and regulation and laws and all of that. And cities are just gonna be these weird dystopian hyper controlled places where you're gonna be given stuff while they take stuff from all the people who are fleeing and urban areas will become more Republican and in essence More libertarian, right, less government, et cetera. But his point there is that what we'll end up with because of the census is what we know is happening already. Florida just got four more seats because of redistricting, which they weren't planning to do until the Democrats started doing it. So that's now leading to a federal government. We'll see what happens. There's other things have to happen in the midterms, but you could see a situation where in the big cities you will have massive Democrats control New York, Los Angeles, blah blah, blah, blah, blah, Chicago, et cetera. And then the rest of the country will not be that. And then you start getting into some really weird stuff again about what makes us the United States of America. However, I don't want to end on that. I want to end with something positive. And there is so much positivity happening and a lot of it is in the tech sector because we are changing the world very. Here's a good example. I use Grok all the time now, even for this shoulder problem that I've been having. I'm talking, I got great doctors, I got second and third opinions, but I'm having an ongoing conversation with Grok and I'm uploading images of the X rays and I'm telling them what the doctors said and all these things. We didn't have that two years ago. You could Google things, right? But AI has now just kind of become part of what most of us are incorporating into into our lives one way or another. Well, AI is going to change everything and robotics will change everything. And I know people always look around the corner going oh no, something horrible is going to happen. But there's opportunity for incredible human flourishing on the other side of this. This is Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang. We've shown you some videos him before on what he thinks the AI future will look a bit like you if anyone can envision what the next 5, 10, 10, 15 years looks like. So what skills will be valuable to humans?

The shape the re industrialization of the United States is going to change the shape of culture. We're going to have a lot more construction workers, a lot more builders and makers, which is fantastic.

Well, that's interesting. We'll show you more in just a second. But more builders, more makers, more creators of re industrialization. Look, when we go through any change, printing press comes out, people start freaking out out. Television comes out. Radio killed.

TV killed the radio star. Like things will always change. But if you're willing to incorporate these things into your life A little bit, then perhaps you can leverage that for a positive future. And that's the other reason that I think it's extremely important that America leads on this. Right. And that Trump brought in AI and crypto czar David Sacks, for example. Like, we need to have the best, best and the brightest innovators leading so that we don't fall behind China and other countries when it comes to AI, energy and more. Here's a bit more from Huang on that. Why is it so important for the United States to win the so called AI race?

I don't know that that winning AI is a thing because AI is going to last a long time and there's no end. You know, it's a competition with no end. It's like a marathon, just runs forever. And so I don't know exactly what that means to win. However, we should absolutely lead. I think we should lead in every single aspect of it. We need to make sure that we lead in energy. Without energy, our country can't grow. Without energy, our economy can't grow. If the economy doesn't grow, national security is in peril. Domestic security is in peril. Everything's in peril. The country has to grow. We need to have energy to grow.

I always tell you, it's just nice listening to people who are. You can just tell they are honestly telling you what they think. I also like that he said we have to lead. In AI not winning, there is no win. The rest of the future of humanity is going to be connected to AI. It is going to be connected to robots and automation and all of these things. There is no win. Like, ah, we've won, you've lost. No, I like that. That example, it's a marathon that never ends. So we always want to be innovating better. We always want to understand this technology better. We also, we always want to be leveraging it better. And that does not mean it will all always be good. And we should worry about surveillance, state things and all the rest of it for sure. But wouldn't you rather we be having something to do with that as Americans than handing that off, I don't know, to the Chinese, the Russians, et cetera? Here's a guy, you may have heard of him, he's the world's first trillionaire, Elon Musk. He's very excited about where things are going.

I mean, we gotta be excited about the future. We've gotta do things that make us want to live. You know, it's, it cannot always be

about problems every day. I mean, do you want to wake up every morning and everything's just a problem. What inspires you and what makes you excited about the future? There's gotta be some things like that. Let's keep doing that, guys. I know I end the show sometimes on some of these corny things like that, but I think that that's right, and I think that's the messaging that is more positive. The Democrats simply cannot go with that messaging. Their messaging has to be doom and gloom even. Look where they are with AI. It's gonna put all of you out of jobs, while at the same time, they're like, and we should also have minimal wage, be higher, which will, I guess, put more of you out of jobs earlier. Or they're really worried about AI data centers and all these things. We just need a message that is more positive, that is going to say, hey, there's an interesting future on the horizon, and we don't know exactly what's going to happen, but let's see what we can do with it, and it will be okay. And this is the same story that humans have gone through forever. There wasn't a wheel. And then some guy was like, I created a wheel. Look what I can do. And the guy who didn't have the wheel was probably pretty pissed at the wheel guy. You get the point. What was that? There was a game, a video game from the 80s. Something about a guy with a wheel. Give me it. Give me it. It was about a caveman with a wheel. Caveman wheel, 80s video game. Someone will remember this. Can I get an image of it?
