Guys, it's July 1st, 2026. I'm Dave Rubin. This is the Rubin Report. And I should note this is a slightly pre taped episode because I'm getting stem cells in my shoulder right now. And just one other comment on that. Starting next week, I will wear jackets again. We're not just doing casual Fridays every day around here. It's just an extra step to get the arm and the jacket after the stem cells. We're gonna get back to it anyway. Let's dive in. There's a lot to talk about. You know, when we were doing yesterday's show, right at the end, I mentioned there were a whole bunch of Supreme Court decisions coming in. Obviously they've had a few other things come out this week. I wanna get you caught up on all of that. And then we're gonna bounce around to a bunch of different stuff today. It's kind of a catch all show. I think you'll enjoy it. I quite enjoyed the rundown. They're taking a picture of me right now.
Interviewer or Co-host
Why?
Dave Rubin
I don't know. Let's start with this from SCOTUS Wire. The Supreme Court ruled that amendment guarantees birthright citizenship to children born in the United States, including those whose parents are in the country unlawfully or only temporarily striking down President Trump's executive order. So we've talked about this a bit yesterday and we've talked about it before. Obviously, birthright citizenship, the idea that quite literally, however you got to the United States, whether illegally, whether you're seven months pregnant and on vacation and give birth at Disneyland or anything else, that child born in the United States becomes a citizen. It seems just if you were just kind of giving it like a vague analysis. Sort of ridiculous, right? Sort of ridiculous. You came here illegally and you get rewarded for it. Your mother came here illegally and you get rewarded for it. Or you're on vacation or we can think of a litany of other reasons that doesn't quite seem right. However, Trump tried to do something on it via executive action. The Supreme Court went the other way. And as I often point out, you know, when the Supreme Court does not go in the direction that people on the right want, usually you're going to get some thoughtful analysis on it, not burn down the court. Right. Democrats, every time they don't get what they want from the Supreme Court, what is it? It's a Trump court and we've got to pack the court and burn it down. Generally on the right, you get more thoughtful analysis. So I'm going to show you two here the first one's more political. The second one is more procedural. First from Stephen Miller, obviously. White House spokesman Stephen Miller on the decision. One of the most destructive and outrageous decisions in the long history of the Supreme Court. American citizensh is not the birthright of the world. It belongs only and solely to Americans. No provision of the Constitution can be read to require our national self obliteration. Okay, so that's sort of a political analysis which I agree with. Right? Like, it just simply does not make sense to me. So an illegal from Mexico who's eight months pregnant comes here and just has the baby here. Why should that baby be an American right? Or an illegal from Canada who comes in who's two months pregnant, somehow gets through the northern border and just plops the baby down? And then we also know what happens once you have that. They call it the anchor baby because then people don't wanna separate families and then kick out the illegal mother or the father or whoever else. So it becomes a huge thing. But his analysis there, but note, he didn't say. He said it's a bad decision. He didn't say pack the court. He didn't say burn it down or anything else. Now let me read Ron DeSantis analysis, which was more judicial in nature. And I think again gets to the heart of why conservatives tend to not wanna destroy everything just because it doesn't go in their. DeSantis wrote this. This was not a decision on procedural grounds. For example, POTUS can't do this through executive order, but Congress could legislate it. It is a substantive decision that says that the 14th Amendment requires citizenship for those born to, among others, birth tourists or those unlawfully present in the country. We'll need either a constitutional amendment or future court to overrule this. Any way you slice it, the decision is a major defeat. So you get it? You get it. What? They, they didn't rule that Trump can't do this executive action. I mean, in essence, he obviously can't because they're saying it's unconstitutional. But what they're saying is the right to privacy affords someone who is illegal to have a baby here and then create that anchor baby situation. And then we know the political resolution of that or the political extension of that is you end up with families that are illegal here. So it is a strange decision. However, my position would be in line with what Both Miller and DeSantis said, which is I don't like the decision, but just because I didn't like the decision of the Supreme Court, the Trump Supreme Court which. Which once again went against Trump. That doesn't mean pack the court or burn it down or whatever else the Democrats also want to do. And by the way, the Supreme Court did do some other things that I do agree with. Here's this from the White House. The Supreme Court has delivered a major victory for American sovereignty, ruling that the Trump administration has full authority to terminate temporary protected status TPS for Haitian migrants. The Biden administration weaponized TPS as backdoor amnesty to flood the country with millions of unvetted migrants. And that loophole is finally closed. This is the latest decisive win in President Donald J. Trump's relentless effort to end the border invasion and put American citizens first. Temporary protected status tps. The T is for temporary. And now, well, temporary doesn't mean forever. Temporary is one word. Forever is another word. Temporary protected status is over. Here is head of DHS Mark Wayne Mullen explaining. It is time to go home.
Mark Wayne Mullen
Temporary protective status in its name itself is exactly what it was designed for. It was never permanent status. It was temporary status. And the court ruled correctly on this in a 6, 3 decision. These individuals, some of these guys have been here 15 to 20 to 30 years. I understand that. But they had an opportunity during that time if they wanted to try to change their status, they could. They chose not to. Now the temporary protective status is over. They have to go home. Now. They don't have to go to the country that they came from. If they're not feeling safe, they can go someplace else, but they cannot stay here. Your TPS temporary protective status is over. So we will help assist you in leaving. If you would like, we'll buy you an airline ticket, we'll give you $2,600 to reestablish yourself someplace else. If you don't want to go back to the country you came from. But you have to leave, and we're going to assist you in doing so. And if you choose not to, then we'll pick you up and force you to leave.
Dave Rubin
Okay? So you understand what we're doing? So, okay, so in this case, the Supreme Court did something that I is just. Again, the word temporary is in the freaking thing, right? Temporary. Some of these people have been here for 15 years. They didn't go ahead and do whatever it is they could have done to get online and get online. I don't mean online, the computer, like literally get online on some waiting list to become a citizen. And now it is time to go. You cannot be here anymore. And this has nothing to do with skin color or anything. Else. And as a matter of fact, we're not going to punish you. We're going to give you a plane ticket. We'll give you some cash. You can potentially go back to Haiti. Maybe you could go back to some other country that wants you. But think about it this way. Why should the United States be the receptacle for all of these refugees? There are all sorts of other countries out there. I would imagine there's other countries where native Haitians or say people like Ilhan Omar, who's Somali, but there are nations where some of these people might be more comfortable than the evil United States of America. So why would you even want to be here in the first place? Here is Jake Tapper questioning Mark Wayne Mullen on whether they can even make their way back to Haiti.
Jake Tapper
I understand that, but based on everything I've read, including the UN And Human Rights Watch, it doesn't sound safe for Haitians. More than 8,100 killings documented last year. Those weren't Americans. Haiti is among the top five countries with the highest rates of rape and sexual abuse, with more than 1200 cases of sexual violence last year. That's not Americans. 1.4 million people have been displaced. Those aren't Americans.
Mark Wayne Mullen
Is there a question in that?
Jake Tapper
Well, I'm just saying. Let me ask you. You said you're going to give them a plane ticket if they want to get out and go back to Haiti. How logistically would it happen? Because the FAA prohibits commercial flights to Port au Prince because of the gunfire from terrorists and gangs. Civil aviation, by the way, is also prohibited in Syria.
Mark Wayne Mullen
So we have several options for deporting individuals because we have deportation flights where we can get into areas where maybe commercial travel can't go to.
Dave Rubin
I love the fact, like, you got a question, Jake? Like Jake, you're just lecturing me. Do you have a question? Let's say everything that Jake said there is right. And let's say Haiti is a pretty violent. Sounds like a pretty violent place. Sounds like a place you wouldn't want to be. Sounds like a lot of bad people are there, maybe with culture that doesn't mix with our culture. Why would we then bring all of these people here? And again, temporary does not mean permanent. They actually mean completely the reverse things by land. By the way, if you couldn't get into Haiti, we could drop them off in the Dominican Republic and then maybe they could walk over the border to Haiti. And you know, Haiti also has maritime borders with Cuba, Bahamas, Jamaica. Why does the US have to take all of these people I assume Cuba needs some people to turn on the lights. Bahamas, I mean, then they'd be pretty close to Florida. Maybe skip the Bahamas and Jamaica. Whatever.
Interjecting Commentator
Whatever.
Dave Rubin
Okay, man. You want to smoke weed, man?
Unknown Commentator or RFK
You're Haitian.
Dave Rubin
Let's have fun, man. The point is, we are not supposed to just take everyone in, be nice, stay here forever, and suck off the system. You've been sucking too long. Here's a bit more from Mark Wayne Mullen.
Mark Wayne Mullen
So we'll provide the travel for them, and like I said, we'll give them $2,100 roughly, to go back home. We. We want the individuals to be repatriated to their country. Maybe they can go back there and help restore their country. Syria is a prime example. Syria has come a long ways in just a few years. Underneath their new leadership that we have, we truly expect that Syria can be a great country again. But it takes the people of Syria to build their country back. The same thing in Haiti. It takes the people of Haiti to win their country back. If we really want those countries to succeed, then they need the best of the best to be back in their country, living there, and we're going to assist them in that.
Dave Rubin
First off, can you throw the image of Jake up there? I love how he looks just so sad about this. Lose all of his Haitian friends. It's gonna be so sad. And by the way, so it's about 350,000 people on this TPS from Haiti and Syria, which is the other country they mentioned here?
Interviewer or Commentator
Syria.
Dave Rubin
Seems like maybe it's doing a little bit better. I don't know exactly what's going on. It seems like a little guy. The new guy's a little Al Qaeda, but maybe not as insane as everybody else, but temporary. Temporary. Four syllables temporary. Yeah, that's it. You gotta go home.
Unknown Commentator or RFK
Sorry.
Dave Rubin
And we'll give you some cash. Go rebuild your country. And if you're pissed about it, you know what really, you know what is. What did Ronald Reagan say? There's no more permanent program than a government. A temporary government program. Like, that's exactly what happened here. But, sorry, it's not gonna stand. Of course, the Democrats very upset like this about this, because there's nothing they love more than people who are not really American. Here is Ohio Governor Mike DeWine.
Jake Tapper
Governor, you just heard Secretary Mullen defend the decision. You say it's a mistake. What's your take?
Ohio Governor Mike DeWine
Well, I think it's a mistake for a number of reasons. You know, first of all, to go back to what you were just discussing. You cannot fly into Port au Prince today. U.S. carriers are prohibited from going in there. But the other point is it is not in the United States's interest, certainly not in Ohio's interest to have people who are working every single day, who are supporting a family, who are buying houses, fixing up old houses, starting businesses, and then put deep roots in this country and really are contributing and yank them out.
Dave Rubin
Okay, first off, let's address the. The first thing he said was that you can't get flights in. Well, Mark Wayne Mullen just pointed out we have ways of getting flights in. So that's one part. Secondly, you'd think they'd want to rebuild if they're, if they're so great and wonderful and everything else. Again, they were only here temporary, so they just wanted to wait till things calm down. And now you got to go back and go build your country. That's.
Commentator
Now.
Dave Rubin
As for DeWine, I mean, I can do a little bit of the bleeding heart liberal stuff that, you know, let's just say a certain percentage of these people, maybe it's even a majority of these people, are perfectly fine people and they're happy to be in America and they are doing things. But again, they came on temporary protected status. And the Supreme Court, sometimes it makes decisions I like, sometimes it makes decisions I don't like. In this case said the president has the right to remove it, so they have to go back. And by the way, you know, you Dems are always complaining about AI and you're always complaining about minimum wage and all of these things. Well, if you remove these people, there'll be more jobs for native people from your state. So that might be good. But they just, for some reason, Democrats and squishy Republicans never care about the American people. Here's former Ohio Republican Governor John Kasich, and he just wants the Haitians to stay forever.
John Kasich
The Supreme Court decision has said that Haitians are going to have to be removed from Springfield, Ohio. I guess I understand that. But there is an opportunity for the Congress to extend temporary protection status because things in Haiti are just deteriorating and sending people back there with their families to me is just crazy. I wish the Congress would extend this for the Haitians, but if not, they'll say that that's the law. And to quote somebody, a figure from a Charles Dickens novel, if that's the law, then the law is an ass
Dave Rubin
or the law is the law of the land. And the Supreme Court, again, sometimes they do things I agree with, sometimes they do things I disagree with. But they made a decision and it is up to the President whether to extend this temporary status or not. I wouldn't want to send people back into war torn lands or anything else. But again, there's other places we can send them if Haiti's so dangerous. But if Haiti is so dangerous, do you think they maybe imported a lot of people with bad ideas? Do you think that that's possible? But unfortunately, whether it is sort of the squishy nominal Republican or whoever, as I'm always talking about, whoever is left sane on the left, they seem not to want to deal with difficult problems in a mature way. So this is why they're constantly screaming, screaming, screaming, screaming about ice. Ice, which is just trying to get illegals out. That's it. No legal citizen of the United States has been kicked out because of ice. I want to jump back. It was last Friday's Real Time. We played you a clip of it yesterday. But JD Vance went in for the interview with Mar and J. And Mar, who is. And again, I can, I'll keep working with him on this. He's kind of. It's not that he's actually against ice, but he doesn't like the optics around some of the ways people got kicked out. They had a rather interesting little head to head here. Take a look.
JD Vance
Say you. Here's what sticks in their craw, okay? The number one issue, immigration, not immigration. We like it that you closed the border. That needed to be done. The people who were here, the way you treated, I'm talking about your administration, you weren't out there yourself. But ice, all that too rough, too mean, too unnecessary.
Mar
Here's the basic problem with that bill is you cannot do any deportations without law enforcement. And you can't do a law enforcement operation like that without having some situations that don't look good when they're, when they're recorded like that. We had 12 million people come into the country, into the interior over the last four years, or I should say from 2021 to 2025. And we were elected with a mandate to get some of those people out of the United States of America. You can't do that easily. Law enforcement deporting people is never an easy process. So I appreciate your argument.
JD Vance
Yeah.
Marco Rubio
All right.
Dave Rubin
So first off, again, this is this bill in the red carpet interview that we played from him yesterday that he likes to get into these people and he didn't attack the guy. He actually, you know, Bill did something that was interesting. He said, we're happy about the border being closed. When he says we, I don't Know what? Other Democrats are, right. Like the progressives are not happy. They don't want borders. Right. But okay, that's fine. And then the question was, was about the optics around everything. And then JD's answer was actually perfect. It's the true answer. If you are going to send any law enforcement to do any, occasionally you're gonna crack some eggs, right? If you're going in for people and they are hiding and they are in shady areas and, and sometimes you don't know what weapons they have and there's protesters outside who are quite literally blocking streets and people are throwing things at you and you've been threatened to be doxed and all things. Think of the tension level that. That existed at the height of the ICE deportations, which I think should be ramped up again, but it doesn't matter. At the height of all of it, the crazy tension and anger and everything else, these guys have to go in. And then if somebody. You're literally asking someone to stop moving their car forward and they start moving forward and then they get killed because you thought you were going to get killed. Like, this is where I would say to the remaining liberals, reality is not the most simple thing possible. So you can't say, I'm for a closed border and I'm for deportations and then be upset when a few things go sideways. You can acknowledge them, but you can't really be upset about it. That's what I would say about that. Guys, let's talk about Sundays for Dogs for just a moment. Have you ever looked at the ingredients in your dog's food? Most kibble is made with extreme heat, stripping away nutrients and replacing them with synthetic vitamins and chemicals. That's why I like Sunday for Dogs, which magically appeared in my hand.
JD Vance
Look at that.
Dave Rubin
That was amazing. It's made with over 80% all natural meat, plus real superfoods like kale, blueberries and ginger. Ohio Governor Mike DeWine
All right.
Dave Rubin
We're also being invaded by jihadists. That's a problem. Dog food invasion. I'd rather be invaded by dogs, quite frankly. But in Dearborn, Michigan, which is, you could probably say, is ground zero for so much of whatever is going on here with this strange sort of Sharia compliant, quasi jihadi. We hate the Jews. We love diversity, although when we say diversity, we mean just more Muslims. That's it. Here is Police Chief Issa Shaheen talking about how exciting it is that they are transforming their police into pretty much all Arabs and Muslims.
Police Chief Issa Shaheen
Wonderful wife, Diana, a strong, proud Palestinian woman. When I joined the department, Dearborn's Arab American population was nearly 50%. Yet less than 3% of our police force reflected the community that we served. The department was not always welcoming to people who were doing different. Today, the Dearborn Police Department is the department that I wish I worked for when I first started my career. It's now a department that reflects and embraces the community it serves. With 45% of our Arab, our officers
Dave Rubin
being Arab American, who cares, who cares about the racial breakdown and ethnic breakdown of your officers? Were the officers good before? Are they better now? Are they taking care of everybody? And by the way, if you were just hiring people specifically because they were Arab American, you probably broke some laws, right? Not that anyone will do anything about that. But when they talk about diversity, what now they mean is domination. We didn't really want diversity. Now we want denomination. Elon Musk saw that video. He wrote this. For a US Official to fly the flag of another country after having sworn an oath of citizenship that requires sole loyalty to America is nothing but treason. Now you might say that's a little bit heavy handed. Perhaps it is. But we see this happening all over the place. There are cities that are being taken over by Muslims. And you just have to wonder over time, will that be good for non Muslims or even again, what I always say, the nominal Muslim, the gay Muslim, the Muslim who's questioning their faith, the Muslim who wants to draw a certain cartoon, is it gonna be good for any of them? And again, and who cares when you are being attacked, your house is burning down, in the case of a fire department, does anyone care about the religion or nationality of the fireman who's coming to save you or the policeman who's
Mar
coming to save you?
Ali Velshi
No.
Dave Rubin
But you guys want to rejigger all these things. As if we should care about the least important thing. Of course, what this has all led to is this ridiculous state of intersectionality where these perceived oppressions have all morphed into something horrific and disgusting. People once loved the rainbow. You know, you'd get a storm and then a beautiful rainbow might appear, or sometimes the rare double rainbow and that people really love the double rainbow. Then the gays took the rainbow and they were working with the rainbow for a while, and people were basically okay with it. They were like, ah, you gays with your fashion and your music. You want the rainbow, have the rainbow. But then the trans people came in and they put brown on the rainbow because they somehow implied that the rainbow wasn't colorful enough. It wasn't addressing brown and black. People say, put some brown and black on the rainbow. And then they go, we got the rainbow. Then they put the trans thing on there and then the trans colors. And now the thing is just a mess. But it's even messier because, as you know, we just ended Pride Month. Thank God. And here is a combo flag for you. It is the trans Palestinian flag. That was in Seattle, of course, that was the Seattle Mariners mascot, who did not know he was a trans person. Trans moose or whatever he is. But okay. Interestingly, those queers for Palestine people never fly those flags in actual Palestine because they would be beheaded faster than a random Jew outside of Gaza. That's how it works. It's completely. Could you give me a screenshot of that? Like, if they did that, just look, just here, just. Yeah, like, look at these people. Hamas would kill all of them in. In a second. They would behead them, bleed them out. And these morons, these are brain broken, abject morons. Just going with the, you know, kind of trademark. Cause of the day. This is no different than BLM or anything else. We don't know what. We're just like, BLM didn't send any young black people to college. It's like it was completely fraudulent movement. This thing is. It's beyond imagination. And of course it's spreading all over the world. Even though it was prideful month in Sydney, they. They didn't bother with the flags here. This is just a. Just a generalized pro Hamas rally in Sydney. I. You can take a look, see if you can find Crocodile Dundee or Bluey. I couldn't find him. Wait, did I see Bluey back there? Or was that Bingo? No, May. No, it was something else. Okay, if you're the average Australian, why should these people be in your country? I don't know what they're chanting about. I don't know what they're doing. I Do know that when we were in Australia that they have little tents on corners in many different cities where they're converting people. They're trying to convert people to Islam. Oddly, in no Muslim country do you think Jewish or Christian pastors are standing on corners going, hey, you want to be a Jew? Come over here. They don't tolerate that. But somehow in our countries we're supposed to tolerate it. But what are they doing in Australia? Just go home. Leave it to Crocodile Dundee. Leave it to Irwin's daughter. Leave it to Bingo. Leave it to Bluey. Leave it to Mad Max. Give me one more Australian. Who was the center on Bogut? Andrew Bogut. Give me one more Australian. Come on, Steve Irwin. I said his daughter. He's dead. Okay, give me one more Australian. A famous Australian. Is there anyone else who. Hugh Jackman. Hugh Jackman, exactly. Now let's jump over to Canada because once again we'll go to a pride parade where they're very, very, very confused.
Ohio Governor Mike DeWine
Used.
Dave Rubin
We're here, we're queer. Free Palestine. What? Does it even rhyme? It doesn't even rhyme. You people, you would all be killed in Palestine. In essence, what you're chanting is destroy Israel. The one place that would allow you.
Unknown Commentator or RFK
Can I say.
Dave Rubin
Can I say just. I can say it's not pride month anymore. You to live there. It's the only place you would be allowed to live. We got demonetized, but I felt it was worth it, you know, for the once a year I can do it. Like, they would kill all of you. And yet you hate the place that you would be allowed to live. Do some googling, guys. Like, don't take my word for it. Do some Googling. And then the whole month was like this. We had just this insanity all month where we'd have these crazy queers for Palestine people who are marching for a place that would kill them. And then there were these other rallies all over the place. Here's Chicago. We're gonn them both at the same time here. We'll do them back to back. I don't need to come back to me. Here's one in Chicago, one in Houston. These are not gay. Unless these are queer for Palestine rallies. I'm not sure. But like, does this have anything to do with America? I do like that song. But the point is, what does this have to do with America? What are you people doing here? And when they take power, do you think they are going to be kind to the non believers, to those who do not want to submit to Islam? So it's like, wake up. We're just not going to wake up. Nobody's going to wake up. All right, I tried. I tried. At least. Let's talk about Angel Studios and then more with the people who are trying to kill us all. As America celebrates its 250th birthday, angel is offering a great deal right now. You can become a premium Angel Guild member for just $15 a month. So this story is just extraordinary and it's the perfect example of how stupid and ridiculous this alliance between the far lefties and the Islamists is. So you know this guy, California State Senator Scott Weiner, He's a representative from San Francisco. He's been all about the trans stuff. He pushed for a law so that if you knowingly, if you had aids, and you knowingly gave someone aids, you would not be prosecuted. He is a slimy, grotesque person who's done every, everything he can to push things further left. However, until a few weeks ago, he never said that Israel was committing genocide, which it's not. He never, he never basically did the thing that they demand most, which is bow to Hamas and Gaza. Now, he did ultimately, but that was still not good enough for him. So look what happened to this poor schmuck when he took a little walk at the trans march in San Francisco this week.
JD Vance
Weekend.
Commentator
Scott, I think your legislation on trans, on trans issues, and your legislation specifically protecting queers on a sex offender registry is fantastic. Like, I, I really applaud you for that and I think you deserve to be here for that. But I think you're leg, I think your, your housing policy and specific, specifically your housing policy aligning with gimpies. And I think your, your policy on the genocide in Gaza, and I think your policy on the genocide in Gaza is terrible.
Dave Rubin
You know, it's actually hard to watch in some sense because he's such a defeated human. And we'll show you another one in just a second. But, like, dude, congratulations. This, this is what you wrought. So you have this guy. Oh, you've done everything for me. Sex offender registry. And like, who is this guy? Whatever. And then it's like, but you're. What do you think of. Put aside any of the reality of what's gone on in the Middle east over the last couple years. The quote unquote, genocide that ended the day that Israel got their people back. Suddenly they started moving soldiers out. How bizarre. First genocide in history that the people purportedly being genocided could decide whether they wanted to be genocided or not. But putting all that aside, that has nothing to do with anything that Scott Wiener up in San Francisco is legislating about. But you can see what the left has created. Do what we want the second we want it, no matter how deranged, INS psychotic it is, or we will hunt and hound you down until the ends of the earth. So they did that. And the guy, he's just so defeated. You can see his spirit is crushed. He's afraid. And then they went after him at a restaurant in San Francisco, too.
Unknown Caller
Hey, bro. Hey, we. You got to get my hood, bro. It's free Palestine here. You already know what it is. We against the genocide. You think you going to come to my neighborhood, bro? You up? You up. It's going to be a problem. Just innocent children being killed in Palestine.
Dave Rubin
Look at the fear, the fear in his eyes. And for the moron yelling at him, what about the fear in the eyes of the children of Israel who were just taken? They were lefties who lived around Gaza who let these Gazans work with them and come to their homes. Meanwhile, Egypt locked them all out and they were pulled into tunnels and they were raped and beheaded and mothers shot in front of people and grandmas kidnapped. You don't care about any of that. And I don't care if you care one way or another on any of this. But now you feel that you should now destroy the life of someone who's been 99% with you, 99% with you on all of this. And Weiner, again, you fed the crocodile thinking it wasn't going to bite your hand. And, well, maybe it's going to bite your genitals off. And then you can be trans, too, and you can pass an extra law about that. If crocodile bites your genitals off, you get special rights. Here is Scott Weiner on cnn, and he has not heard from Democratic leadership about this.

I know we're a little tight on time, but you mentioned other elected officials. I'm curious, in the wake of this, have you heard from any Democratic leadership? Have you heard, for example, from Nancy Pelosi or from your. From your challenger, Kanye Chan?
Scott Wiener
I have not heard from Nancy Pelosi or from Connie Chan, but I have heard from hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of San Francisco residents, including numerous members of the trans community.
Scott Jennings
Community.
Scott Wiener
Lots of community leaders. Just people who are horrified by what these individuals did to me. And frankly, giving a black eye to the trans march, because most of the people at the trans march are not like that. They are welcoming, wonderful people. And this gave a black eye to the trans march, and that is also just horrible.
Dave Rubin
I hate to tell you, buddy, but you're not gonna hear from the other Democrats. They're gonna let you just flail now. And the community that you so richly love is going to destroy you. Now, again, the craziest part about this is that he threw Israel under the bus already. Look at this tweet from this guy. For years, I've condemned Netanyahu and his extreme and his extremist government and the devastation they've inflicted on Gaza. It's why I've been clear. I won't support US funding for the destruction of Palestinian communities. I've stopp short of calling it a genocide, but I can't anymore. I mean, that whole thing is littered with drivel and nonsense and everything else again, right? Like they were fighting to get their own people back after 1200 people were murdered. They were fighting to get kidnapped people back. There was no genocide.
JD Vance
They were.
Dave Rubin
I'm sick of talking about all this. The point of it is, of course, he gave them what they wanted. I hadn't called it a genocide. I'm so focused on trans issues. I didn't call it a genocide, but I can't take it anymore now.
John Kennedy
I will.
Dave Rubin
And they're still coming after you. And you ain't gonna hear from democr leadership, buddy. And, of course, this is also Nancy Pelosi's district, and Nancy made it over to the Pride Parade, and she's still out there doing whatever she does, which I don't know what it is, but she's doing it.
Nancy Pelosi
We take great pride in San Francisco and our LGBTQ community. And in this year of the anniversary of our founding of our country, the community has made America more American with its mobilization, and it's speaking out for its rights.
Dave Rubin
We're estimating there's a million people in the city right now. How does it feel?
Nancy Pelosi
It feels very exciting. My first one was 1987, so I'm kind of used to this glorious day.
Dave Rubin
Speaker, Mayor, Happy pride.
Nancy Pelosi
Happy Pride. Thank you.
Dave Rubin
You know, it's interesting, Nancy, because in 1987, when you were at the first. Your first pride parade in 1987. In 1987, the pride parade. I don't even know that they were called Pride at that point, but at 1987, gays. And it had nothing to do with this trans nonsense or Q or 2 spirit or any of this other wacky that you guys have injected into it. It was about equality. They were marching for equality. Could we get into a marriage, a union, so we could have a lifelong commitment, maybe build a family, like it was to have equality, which is guaranteed under the Constitution and equal protection under the law, et cetera, et cetera? Now it has morphed into something completely else. You don't even know. What are you talking. Do any of those people out there with their flags not have none? They have all the same rights as everybody else, but you guys just don't know when to walk away. And that is part of the problem. What we should all prefer, actually, rather than all of these pandering, ridiculous idiots, is that you're gay, you're straight, you're bi, you're two spirit, you're just a freak in the sheets, but nobody cares. That's the America that we actually should get to. And ironically, Dana White is taking more of what I would say is an honest, honest position about the gays and ufc. Here he is, then, Nancy Pelosi. Here he is with Tommy Lahren. Why doesn't the UFC have Pride nights?
Interviewer or Commentator
Listen, I have. I mean, I'm staring at my board, my roster of top 15 fighters. You know, I'm assuming we have some gay fighters. I don't know how many of them are openly. I know that we have gay female fighters. I don't give a. I don't care what you are, who you are, what you do. You know, that's just. We don't. We don't talk about that or. Or any of that stuff. It's not like that. We haven't supported the gay community in the past. You know, we just don't. We don't shove any of that stuff down anybody's throats. You know, when we do what we do, we do it because we want to do it, and we do it because we should do it. We don't do it because we want to impress anybody or make, you know, how about you just be honest and real about who you are and what you are as a company? How about that?
Dave Rubin
That's better. That's actual pride. You know what's funny? That's what pride really is. Pride is not, oh, I'm this thing and you got to look at me and demand that I've got my flag bow to me. And pride is, I'm going to. Is what he did. I'm going to build a good product. And I don't care what you do behind closed doors, I don't care what you do in bedroom. I love how at the time when he's like, and I'm looking at my board of 15 fighters and he's looking, going, well, maybe that guy gave a hand job once or trying to figure out like who did what. And then of course it doesn't. As far as we know, there are no openly gay UFC fighters right now.
Interjecting Commentator
Correct.
Dave Rubin
There are several lesbians. Women just love to kick the crap out of other women or something. And then, and then I don't even. Whatever, whatever. But the point of all of that, of course, is that, that, that actually is much more what Dana White is doing right there is much more of what the true American position should be. Equal rights for everybody, do whatever you want, who cares? And but we don't need to bludgeon you with all of this stuff. So good work there, Dana White. Let's talk about CB Distillery for a minute and then we'll get to some more on the Supreme Court decisions. That CB distillery.com code RUMBLE. All right, more Supreme Court stuff here in a 54 vote. This is from SCOTUS Wire. The Supreme Court ruled that federal law does not require mail in ballots to be received by election day, holding that states may count ballots postmarked by election day, but received afterward if a state allows it. So again guys, here's one where I personally disagree with what the Supreme Court said. If you wanna secure elections and have them done on election day, then to me you have to have it postmarked before. So by election day everything can be counted. And if polls close at seven and you've already counted everything, then you can make some sort of decision by, let's say, 10pm Right. That would make sense and it would add, I think, more legitimacy to people believing that these systems work. Supreme court happened to think Otherwise in a 54 very tight decision obviously, but that doesn' make me go we must pack the cords, burn it down once again. Same with Ron DeSantis. SCOTUS validates election practices in places like California that count votes received after the election of loss for election integrity. Florida will keep doing it right and and I suppose that's where we're at. If well that not I suppose that is where we're at. The Supreme Court has made their decision for now. Blue states will continue to do this and we will get more versions of what happened in the LA mayoral race with Spencer Pratt where hours after the election it looks like he's number two and then somehow the woman Nimya Rath, what's her name, Rathiya Nimya Thamtong Nithya Raman, when she she literally conceded in tears on election night and magically a week later she's now in it and Spencer Pratt is out. So we'll just get more of that here. Let's talk about the Save Americ for just a moment. This from the Hill. This was kind of interesting because this guy's a Republican, a squishy one at that. Thom Tillis, Republican, North Carolina on Sunday said ensuring the Save America act gets passed in the Senate is an impossible task. You know, I have people telling me I need to implement the SAVE act immediately in North Carolina in a state that has voter ID, Tillis told CNN's Jake Tapper during an interview on State of the Union. He then asked why over the next four months does he have to try to pursue the impossible task of implementing a bill that simply can't be implemented in that timeframe? Why are we more things that undermine our confidence in elections rather than getting the strong message out that a win for Republicans that will win for Republicans this year, the North Carolina Republican added. Tillis argued that Republicans should accept how current election laws operate and win by them, as well as telling voters about the rise of Democratic socialists in America, referring to recent wins by candidates supported by the left wing organization in New York. Win by the good results that Republicans have produced to stop undermining the confidence in elections, said Tillis. This is a bedrock of our 250 year history of success as the democracy that changed the world, not mess with that between now and November. Tillis previously co sponsored a version of the Save America act, but disagreed with President's push the President Trump's push to push the bill by abolishing the filibuster. Bill Cassidy from Louisiana made similar remarks about the Save America Act. That is what. That is the very definition of a squishy do nothing Republican. What he's saying is, yeah, here in the state that I'm a center of, we do have an IED thing, so why do I have to worry about it? Well, dude, you're going to lose the freaking country. Okay, okay. We'll have a couple red states that do things properly and then we'll have 10 blue states that do things criminally or with fraud built in or anything else. And yes, we can blow up the filibuster if you guys have the balls to do it. So this is where Democrats are awful and evil and communists and jihadists and all of those things. All true. They are all some version of that. And Republicans just ain't that great.
Interjecting Commentator
Great.
Dave Rubin
Here is Trump trying to make. You know what Trump's next thing, it shouldn't be make America great again. It should be make Republicans slightly better.
Interjecting Commentator
How do you vote against Save America? How do you vote against it? How do you vote against voter identification or proof of citizenship? The only people that would vote against that are people that are going to cheat in an election. The Democrats need it because their policy is so bad. They want open borders, they want, want high taxes, they want terrible medical, every anything medical. I'm the one that did favorite nations. I'm reducing drug prices by 200, 300, 400%. Nobody even talks about the news. Doesn't talk about it. The Democrats are opposed to it.
Police Chief Issa Shaheen
Yeah.
Dave Rubin
So of course Trump is right there. Their policies are bad. As we always talk about. They want to import people because they want to import voters. You would only want a system that could have fraud if you were fraudulent, vigilant in, in your actions. And that's what the Democrats are. Here's national treasure Republican Senator John Kennedy with just like basic obvious, obvious, obvious, obvious.
John Kennedy
The Save act to me, I'm a co sponsor, it means two things. It means that to vote in America, you have to prove you are who you say you are to be able to vote. You have to have an ID at the polls and you have to be an American citizen. And number two, it means that we ought to go back to having an election day, not an election month. We need to know who the winner is on election night.
Dave Rubin
Yeah, and that's just right. Let's figure out who's actually voting, have IDs like they do in every other civilized nation. And, and the iron irony is you in essence have to pass the say back to nationalize it because we know the Democrat states want to cheat. It's obvious again, look what happened in Los Angeles and look what happened in California overall. And that it should be a day. The only way that any of this makes any sense. Why do we have election day, not election week, not election month, that you should. It's just such a low bar for what a functioning place should have. And the fact, look again, the Supreme Court made their decision. So fine, we'll just, you know, postmark it on election day and we won't find out till next. Does that make any of this better? I disagree with the decision, but I'm not telling you to burn down the court. Here is Joe Rogan explaining that the Democrats now hate Fetterman. Well, there's two reasons they hate Fetterman. They obviously hate him over Israel. That's number one, because that's their Omni cause. But they also hate him because he's one of the few that says you should have to have an idea to vote.
Joe Rogan
Once you get in, for the most part, you have to adhere to the mindset of all the other people that are in your business. And if you don't, you get C like John Federman, like you get cast out. They hate that guy. Now they're mad at him because he says, I think he should probably have ID to vote.
Dave Rubin
I know, I like John Federman.
Joe Rogan
He's great.
John Kasich
Yeah.
Joe Rogan
Sweet guy.
John Kasich
Yeah.
Dave Rubin
Sane people like John Federman. Even though those people generally who are more Right leaning disagree with him on certain things.
Ohio Governor Mike DeWine
Right.
Dave Rubin
I, I don't think he's like absolutely great on everything, obviously. Right. He still has some of the. Those leanings, but he's on the outs with his own party. And much like all. Well, that was, that was Cheryl Hines and it's like much like her husband Bobby Kennedy, last name Kennedy, when he walks from the Dems, he's going to be welcomed by the Republicans. Surprise, surprise, here is Ali Veli over on msnb, whatever the hell the channel is called. Ali Veli, the guy who literally at the height of blm, stood there and told you they were mostly peaceful protests as a building was exploding behind him. Here he is standing saying that nobody votes illegally in America. Doesn't even happen.
Ali Velshi
Now let's be honest about what this voting bill actually is. The premise is false. Non citizen voting essentially does not exist in America. I have lots of examples. But tonight I'm going to give you Utah. Utah examined 2 million registered voters and found. Hope you're sitting down for this 1 confirmed non citizen regardless registration and 0 instances of non citizens actually voting.
Dave Rubin
Actually, buddy, that doesn't prove anything. I'll even pretend that you didn't make that up. Or even. Let's just say that that's right. That doesn't prove that it's not happening in California, that it's not happening in New York. Utah is not a sanctuary. Like, that's not where massive amounts of illegals are going. Like, they're going to New York and Cali and everything else. And again, in Cali, all you have to know is the name and address, and then you can literally vote as anyone. Yes, I'm Matthew McConaughey. Like, you could actually do that there, and they're not allowed to. Well, you don't look like Matthew McConaughey. I loved Interstellar. And by the way, Ali Velshi, even if it's not a problem, let's try your crazy adventure into fantasyland. If it's not a problem, how about you just Let us have IDs to vote? How about you just force it to happen anyway? Because it's not a problem? So, obviously, only legal people are voting, so you may as well let them prove who they are. Why not? And here's Scott Jennings saying something true.
Scott Jennings
He's doing what he thinks he needs to do to show his base that he's fighting for the issue that he thinks they care about the most, which is a Save America Act. And I have to say, he's not wrong about that. I go all over this country. It's the first, middle, and last thing that I get asked at virtually every event that I go to. People want to know why Republicans can't seem to get this done. So I think for the president to look like he's giving up on that would send a terrible signal to the people who voted him and the Republican majority of authority into office.
Dave Rubin
For the record, I'm pretty sure Kaitlan Collins was drinking pure whiskey at the in the middle of that thing. Yeah, he's right. People want this. And we know we've shown you the numbers on this, guys. It's something like 90 of Republicans and 80% of Democrats. So it's only radical lunatics and fearful weirdos that don't want this. But we shall see. Now, let's continue, because there were more decisions. This one I happen to agree with. From the Blaze, SCOTUS sided with female athletes, ruling that states can keep transgender biological males out of women's sports. And from Greg Price, Justice Thomas, on his concurring opinion, men and boys with gender dysphoria are not women or girls, even if they believe that they are. That is true. That is true. If you hit the age of adulthood and you want to do whatever it is to your body and ingest whatever drugs and put on a wig and have whatever surgeries and have people call you Mary, so be it. But with we should not, as it pertains to young people and sports, have biological males beating the crap out of young girls. But just to do a little devil's advocate here, the guys threw this picture up. Now it's usually not this way, but this is Elliot Page, formerly known as Ellen Page. Put up the picture of Ellen Page. Look, she was a beautiful, beautiful young girl. She is a girl. She was in X Men. She was pretty good. What else was she in? She was in Ghost Juno. She was in Inception. She was a great actress. You had a little crush on her. I know you got a girlfriend, but you can admit it, you had a little crush and it's okay. It's okay. But now she now has transitioned or whatever you want to call it to male. But now the question is and will, this is the rare one because it's usually biological boys kicking the crap out of girls. The question is, okay, Elliot, I'll use the name. You with those abs don't even look comfortable. Like who would want those abs? But are you going to be boxing boys or girls? Are you gonna now with the drugs that you're on, testosterone and whatever else, be kicking the crap outta girls or are you gonna let some biological guys kick the crap out of you? I suppose we shall see. Let's jump over to something positive out of the Middle East. I'm not gonna get you all caught up on everything with Iran. There's obviously some negotiations, there's still some firing going on and everything else. But something very, very good seems to be happening with Israel and Lebanon. Brokered by Marco Rubio Right now. Listen to this from Fox News. Secretary of State Rubio and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wel brokered framework agreement between Jerusalem and Lebanon on Friday as a robust first step towards peace and a rejection of Iranian interference in the region. The breakthrough could lead to a path of diplomatic normalization between the two countries, Lebanon and Israel that are in a formal state of war. The framework agreement may impede the Iran backed terrorist movement Hezbollah that has gained control over parts of the Lebanese state. According to experts. According to the press service of Israel, Netanyahu termed the deal a severe blow to Iran. He added that the Islamic Republic seeks to force an Israeli withdrawal from Southern Lebanon and essentially Israel, Lebanon and the United States are telling them, this is none of your business. You have no role in southern Lebanon. Neither you nor Hezbollah nor any other terrorist organization. Lebanon's president, Joseph Aoun, in an Arabic language post on X, thanked the US Administration led by Trump for its efforts in hosting and facilitating the negotiations and for supporting Lebanon's position. Rubio's optimistic announcement encouraged some veteran Lebanon experts about a historic opportunity for peace, while others warned about the necess necessity to proceed with caution. So what's so interesting about this is that Lebanon and Israel, technically, since the formation of Israel, have been at a state of war. Now, when Israel was formed, Lebanon used to be a Christian nation, now it's a Muslim nation. But the people of Lebanon and the elected government of Lebanon hasn't been basically in charge of Lebanon, particularly southern Lebanon, that Hezbollah, via Iran, took over the country and started firing rockets into Israel on October 8th. So then Israel started responding. Now the US Israel and Lebanon are all on the same side. Lebanon and Israel have no beef with each other. There is a border that everyone will respect if you stop shooting rockets. So they're sitting there going, iran, you're the bad guys. Hezbollah's gotta go. And here's Rubio, who, he's just. The guy is just a masterclass teacher on this stuff.
Marco Rubio
Thank you. Today is, is, is a good day in that we are happy to announce a free framework agreement between the sovereign government of Lebanon and of course, the government of Israel, with a mediation and support of the United States of America that begins to put in place a framework for lasting peace and security today. As I told all the parties here today, it's the beginning of the beginning. There's a lot of work ahead. We don't in any way underestimate the difficulty of the task ahead, but we understand the importance of it, how vital it is, and we are honored to have played a part in bringing, bringing this together.
Dave Rubin
You know, it's interesting he had to say the sovereign nation of Lebanon, because in a sense they have not been sovereign because they've had a terrorist organization kind of running their country, at least their foreign policy. So, Rubio, it's just great. He's right. It's the beginning of the beginning. The Lebanese army is going to have to fight Hezbollah and get them out of their country, remove the Iranian influence, and then I guarantee you there will be, will be peace like that. And by the way, when you sign a peace deal with Israel, see Egypt and Jordan, you get decades of peace, right? That is a Absolute fact. So I thought, how could we end this show coming off that? It's like. I think partly what we need to do is there have been so many lies, like just lies thrown in every which direction, but particularly as it pertains to Middle east stuff, that we just need to start debunking the lies. Because so many of these people, whether it's the trans people screaming for this or this one calling for queers for Palestine and Gaza, none of them know what they're talking about. So I thought this was quite interesting. Rfk, who obviously is mostly focused on Maha stuff and vaccine schedules and things like that, he ended up having a foreign policy conversation with Jesse Waters and the guy just knows his stuff.
Unknown Commentator or RFK
If you look at the Mid east, there is an ongoing genocide against Jews and Christians in all the nations in the Mideast. In 1948, there was a million Jews in the Middle East. In the Arab countries Today there's about 15,000 left. 20% of the population is Christian. Now it's 5%. In Israel, in contrast, there were 150,000 Palestinians in 1948. Today there's almost 2 million 20% of the population. If Israel wanted to commit a genocide against Palestinians, it could be do it in a minute. It's doing the opposite. Palestinian population is growing enormously around Israel.
Dave Rubin
Now, I suspect you watching this, if you watch the show, you know those things. Those are all things that I've said repeatedly. But most people don't know those things. The life of Jews and Christians has been obliterated across the Middle East. There are virtually no Coptic Christians in Egypt anymore. We talked about Christians in Lebanon. Like, how's it going for Christians in any Muslim nation, including Saudi Arabia? By the way, not great. Not great at all. Meanwhile, in Israel, the population of Gaza keeps going up every year. So we have to, I think the most important thing, whether whether we're talking about Israel and Gaza or we're talking about any of the other things we talk about, we must start showing people there. There is something called history that is real. There is something that is called truth. And if we don't fight for that, we will give the whole thing away. Guys, no post game show today for reasons that if I was to get into are so complex your head would explode. But I will make it up for you tomorrow.
JD Vance
See you then.

Ciao.
The Rubin Report - Episode Summary
Episode Title: Major Republicans Outraged Over SCOTUS Decision & How They Plan to Fight It
Host: Dave Rubin
Date: July 1, 2026
In this packed “catch-all” episode, Dave Rubin breaks down several recent U.S. Supreme Court decisions—most notably their ruling on birthright citizenship (striking down Trump’s executive order), the end of temporary protected status (TPS) for certain migrants, and other key legal rulings affecting voting and transgender participation in sports. Rubin features and reacts to political commentary from major Republicans and interviews, delving into wider issues such as illegal immigration, election integrity, diversity in law enforcement, the shifting state of liberal causes, and Middle East developments. The tone alternates between fiery critique, political analysis, and sharp cultural commentary.
Stephen Miller (02:33):
“One of the most destructive and outrageous decisions in the long history of the Supreme Court. American citizenship is not the birthright of the world.”
Ron DeSantis (03:45):
“This was not a decision on procedural grounds... It is a substantive decision that says the 14th Amendment requires citizenship for those born to… birth tourists or those unlawfully present.”
Dave Rubin (06:39):
“We’re not going to punish you. We’re going to give you a plane ticket. We’ll give you some cash... But why should the United States be the receptacle for all of these refugees?”
Mark Wayne Mullen (05:47):
“Temporary protective status... was never permanent status. It was temporary status. And the court ruled correctly on this…”
JD Vance (15:43):
“You cannot do any deportations without law enforcement...you can’t do a law enforcement operation like that without having some situations that don’t look good when recorded.”
Dave Rubin (29:17):
“Do what we want the second we want it, no matter how deranged, or we will hound you down until the ends of the earth.”
John Kennedy (42:57):
"To vote in America, you have to prove you are who you say you are... We need to know who the winner is on election night.”
Justice Thomas (47:24):
“Men and boys with gender dysphoria are not women or girls, even if they believe that they are.”
RFK Jr. (53:37):
“If Israel wanted to commit a genocide against Palestinians, it could… It’s doing the opposite. Palestinian population is growing enormously around Israel.”
Dave Rubin is candid, combative, and often irreverent; he spotlights what he views as common sense, conservative, or classical liberal viewpoints, laced with sarcasm and humorous asides. Guest and politician quotes largely retain their original tone, ranging from measured critique (DeSantis) to passionate denunciation (Miller, Mullen, Kennedy). Rubin emphasizes reasoned conservative frustration and contrasts it with the perceived extremity and instability of progressive activism.
