We have a little bit of everything in here. I think it's a nice package of everything that's happening culturally and politically. We've got some of the good guys, some of the bad guys. We've got some clips of the View, we got a little something of Bill Maher. We have some of the people over at the televised mental institution known as msnbc, and we've got some of the people who aren't making some sense in the world right now. So why don't we just dive right into it? So Joe Scarborough, and you know this guy, Morning Joe over on msnbc, this is a guy who's largely gotten everything wrong. He is one of the prime purveyors, I would say, of all the hysteria and the lies that we have been subjected to over the couple years. His co host on the show is his wife, Mika Brzezinski. The fact that they're married just seems so freaking bizarre as they sit there in their little boxes and it's so stiff and stilted and okay, whatever. But this is a guy who lied about all of this stuff. I mean, and the big things over the last couple of months was just days after Joe Biden's debacle and the debate back in June was still saying that this guy is mentally fit to be president. He has just lied and been awful and called everybody racist and everything else. Well, the same people, Mika and Joe, who said that Donald Trump was Hitler, they went over to Mar a Lago to have a little tea with him, and they talked about that yesterday.

Over the past week, Joe and I have heard from so many people, from political leaders to regular citizens, deeply dismayed by several of President elect Trump's Cabinet selections, and they are scared. Last Thursday, we expressed our own concerns on this broadcast and even said we would appreciate the opportunity to speak with the President Elect himself. On Friday, we were given the opportunity to do just that. Joe and I went to Mar a Lago to meet personally with President Elect Trump. It was the first time we have seen him in seven years.

Now, we talked about a lot of issues, including abortion, mass deportation, threats of political retribution against political opponents and media outlets. We talked about that a good bit. And it's going to come as no surprise to anybody who watches this show, has watched it over the past year or over the past decade, that we didn't see eye to eye on a lot of issues. And we told him so.

What we did agree on was to restart communications. My father often spoke with world leaders with whom he and the United States profoundly disagreed. That's a task shared by reporters and commentators alike. We had not spoken to President Trump since March of 2020. Other than a personal call Joe made to Trump on the morning after the attempt on his life in Butler, Pennsylvania.

This was Jeopardy. The question would be, what are inauthentic, robotic, humanoid news people like? First off, do you realize how hilarious it is? They're sitting in the same room, they're at a same. They're at the same big desk, but they have two different cameras so that they're in boxes next to each other, which that's just weird in and of itself, right? And they go back and forth. They're married, and they're going back and forth, talking like robots. Like, is that how they have dirty talk at night? I'm going to squeeze your breast. You are going to squeeze my breast. A lot of breast squeezing. I don't know, whatever. Anyway, might I offer a little criticism of Donald Trump here, which is that, dude, you don't have to play with these people anymore. You don't have to invite these people who will sandbag you at any given opportunity, who have lied about everything. I get why Trump does it, right? Trump has a relationship, relationship with the media that they. Everyone's sort of in on it. That kind of keeps the show going. But enough of these losers, like, the day that we officially go like this and we say, they are so irrelevant now. And the day is coming. I keep telling you that the day is coming. Maybe the day will be January 20, when Trump is actually sworn in. And then it's like, goodbye to all of you losers. We're still in this. We're in this purgatory, period, I would say, while President Trump is the President Elect, in essence. But these people do not deserve our respect. They don't deserve Trump's attention or anything else. But here they continued to discuss what it was like to meet with Hitler from two weeks ago.

In this meeting, President Trump was tearful. He was upbeat. He seemed interested in finding common ground with Democrats on some of the most divisive issues. And for those asking why we would go speak to the President Elect during such fraught times, especially between us, I guess I would ask back, why wouldn't we? Five years of political warfare has deeply divided Washington and the country. We have been as clear as we know how in expressing our deep concerns about President Trump's actions and words in the coarsening of public debate. But for nearly 80 million Americans, election denialism, public trials, and January 6th were not as important as the issues that moved them to send Donald Trump back to the White House with their vote. Joe and I realize it's time to do something different, and that starts with not only talking about Donald Trump, but also talking with him.

No, what you realized is you're lying and hysteria isn't working. Your lady that was installed didn't become president. And you guys want to just keep your chairs. You want to keep your chairs in your boxes with the split screen, because otherwise you'd have to go home and talk to each other like normal people, not reading off teleprompters like robots. And that's all you are. That's why the machine gives you the chair to sit there. So the only way that you can functionally move forward in your career is to now basically be like, oh, Hitler is not really Hitler. Do we have a Hitler is not really Hitler video we can show? We do. And then he says that the news network that is most critical of him should be taken off the air. This is not a reach. I could go back and talk about Nazi Germany, and I do it without any concerns whatsoever. And if people can't start drawing the parallels, well, you're just stupid. Or you have your head in the sand, or you're one of them.

All right, so there's no point in me analyzing what they're saying there. The hypocrisy stands for itself, but you get it. It's a game. They never believed he was Hitler. And if you did believe he was Hitler, you wouldn't go over to his house to hang out with him and then try to figure common cause with Hitler. And this was the lie that they pushed on everybody forever. The same people who used to beg Donald Trump for money or campaign donations. The same people like Chuck Schumer who weeks before the election, he's calling him Hitler on one hand and then also going to the Al Smith dinner and laughing at Trump's jokes. This is the game that they're all playing. But these people, their time has run thin. You know, even more than it's not worth, it genuinely is not worth really criticizing. No, it's worth criticizing them. It's not worth analyzing the nonsense, right? Because you guys, especially for you guys, you get their nonsense. But it is worth going, well, who is being duped by these people at this point? And the fortunate part, and this election was proof of it, is that less unless people are being duped by these corporate hacks. Over at msnbc, my friend Megan Kelly had a rather, I would say succinct analysis of Mika and Joe's position as it pertains to the once Hitler future president be mistaken, we're not here to defend or normalize Donald Trump. We're here to report on him.

Not because we get everything right, not because we don't have blind spots or anything else, but because we're at least trying to be true. And you don't have, you don't have. You simply don't have the unbelievable amounts of hypocritical videos that you can put up where I'm saying completely the reverse thing, not that I didn't evolve politically over the years and then you can track that and it makes sense. And there, that is a good question that I've been trying to address as we are in this, as I said, purgatory time. What's interesting about it to me is not just how the right is reacting to these people, but now the loony left is starting to eat its own as it pertains to Mika and Joe and the loonies at the View and everything else. Okay, so what's really interesting about this media thing right now is not that we can criticize them and not exactly that we can show that they're hypocrites and sellouts and hacks and all of those things. I think that illustrated for years at this point. But something interesting is now brewing on the left because the left is going to have to and the Democrat Party is going to have to figure out what is the way out of this. You guys just got demolished, annihilated. You've lost a huge amount of your institutional power at the media level. You're about to lose your governmental institutional power. So what do you do? And that fight, I am here for that fight. That fight is Godzilla versus Mothra at the end of the movie where the scientist with one little tear coming down his cheek says, let them fight. That's where we're at. So over on the View, Sunny Hostin, who again, with all due respect to my friend Megyn Kelly, I believe is the most racist person on television and Anna Navarro, a woman who lives in Florida yet hates America. Here they are criticizing. They're starting to get it. They finally get it. They're criticizing Joe and Mika and calling them fake journalists. Have at it, lefties.

Look, the bottom line is that America needs a free press that is willing to speak truth to power right now more than ever. And I think that we have to be very clear eyed when we think about the President elect and cover the President elect. And I don't think you need to sit down for 90 minutes at Mar a Lago and kiss his ring to be able to speak truth and to be able to cover a story. So maybe they're not journalists in the true sense. Maybe they're saying that they're opinion journalists. But we have to remember that Trump is the guy who ushered in the era of fake news. I think there's a lot of people who are probably looking at what Joe and Mika did and find it opportunistic. There are people who change their stripes or maybe their spots, I should say today, depending on who is in power and what benefits them. I don't know that that's what they are doing. And to me, it's a to be determined situation because right now it's the transition. We don't know what he's going to do as president. We don't know what they're going to do if he commits abuses of power as president. So, you know, everybody has to live with their decision. Everybody has to look at themselves in the mirror. I'm good.

Yes, I've been saying you people have to look at yourselves in the mirror. I don't think you're quite there, Anna, although the Ozempic is working, but that's not really what you should be looking in the mirror for. What you should be looking in the mirror for is that your hypocrisy is off the charts. You think people change their stripes to be opportunistic. That's kind of funny, Anna Navarro, because you used to work when you were a Republican, a conservative for Marco Rubio, who's now Secretary of State. I assume that you still think that Marco Rubio is a decent guy. So you're probably happy unless you're just a kind of fraud and liar about. About absolutely everything, which of course you are. Which is why every day you rant and rave about how evil Florida is and yet you live here and are have no intentions of moving. Although I would gladly pay for the U Haul truck as it pertains to Sunny Hostin. Boy, it's so interesting. Suddenly she's so into a free and fair press that's gonna have to speak truth to power. Just like they did when they had Joe Biden on a couple of months ago. Remember that? When they all blew him. Or when they had Kamala on and they all went down on her. I had to do it. It was just a 5050 joke. You got it. So now suddenly. Now suddenly. Yes, because you guys did such great jobs as journalists when you sat down with the two of them. Truth to power. Now, let's jump over to something else because I'm showing you the. And I actually just love this. This is a type of drama. I'm not a big drama guy, but I actually love the sort of intersectional collapse and the way these people are going to eat themselves. It is just delicious and wonderful. Here are Whoopi and Sonny going after another lefty, Bill Maher, although he does represent, let's say, whatever sliver, small sliver is left of the sane left. Bill is against identity politics and Sunny needs racism because it's what gets her off.

Well, if he's right, then why didn't people vote for the former prosecutor who actually had policy plans to help the working class? I mean, I know that as a country, it's very difficult for people to believe that racism and misogyny, they're just alive and well. I think that we don't want to think that about ourselves, our neighbors, our friends. But it'smy lived experience tells me that it does still exist, even if your lived experience doesn't tell you that it exists. And you know, the facts support that. I'm not saying, you know, he says that folks see everything through the lens of racism and sexism. Not everything. But if you're not seeing racism and sexism in America, then you need to clean your lenses because you know that's.

All you bitches got. And it's running real thin. And your ratings are going down too. MSNBC is now for sale. We talked about how CNN is absolutely collapsing and about to fire a bunch of those guys. And now even the View, the eps at the View have announced they're going to bring on real conservative, not, not just pet conservatives. Because nobody wants to listen to this nonsense. Everyone knows. Does racism and sexism exist at some level? Of course. Are there actual bigots out there? Of course, most of them happen to be Democrats, but that's not exactly what you mean. Are there real people who don't want women in power? I suppose that there are, but the way the system works, the way that everything is happening in America. You guys are the ones who have institutions, rationalized all of this evil. You guys are the ones who decided that race should be the thing that gets people into college or gets people a job. You guys are the ones who have hyper racialized everything. So to whatever extent racism, let's say anti black racism by white people now exists, it's largely because you guys made people racist, made white people racist by constantly calling them racist and then making it harder for them to get jobs and be qualified for things and everything else. You guys did all of this. No one is listening to this nonsense anymore. And again, what's interesting about this is not that the women of the View are getting something wrong or that Bill Maher's trying to hold a liberal position amongst a bunch of crazy people or anything else. What's interesting about this is the Democrats now the Democrat Party, which should be destroyed and in essence, it has been destroyed. There's no leader of the party. There's a president with dementia. Kamala. Where the hell has she been now since she lost? She's disappeared again. They might be pushing us towards World War 3 as we're given more weapons to Ukraine that can now hit deeper into Russia than ever before. That's as of yesterday. And it's like, well, what will this party be? What will it be? Will it just be the complete unhinged party of neo racism and war? Will it somehow revert back to something liberal? I don't think so, because most of the good libs have now become in essence, sort of MAGA Republicans, let's say. But you know what, guys? You all deserve this fight. And eventually you'll just be alone in a room with that mirror calling yourself racist and it'll be a beautiful end to all of that. But it is not the end of this program. All right, so one of the most interesting things that happened during this election cycle is obviously that RFK not only left the Democrat party, but supported Trump. Never officially said he's a Republican, but now has Become just, I would say, right in the center of. The center of everything that this new MAGA represents. And that's what make America healthy Maha is all about, right? And we're suddenly talking about health in America. And the funny part of this is that so much of what the left defines as themselves is just a reaction to the right, that you can sense that many people on the left are gonna go all in on being unhealthy. And you already can see this when you look at these sort of fat, hysterical, purple haired, crazy Hamas supporters. Not the healthiest people. But now the right broadly has health on its side. And it doesn't matter what you think the marginal tax rate is. You should care about your health and the health of your family and your kids and everything else. So on Real Time with Bill Maher on Friday. Cassie Means was on. I had Callie Means, her husband, on here a couple weeks ago. But they've written a wonderful book and they've been right in the center of what's going on with our farming and the amount of pesticides in our food and all of this stuff. And she went on Bill Maher to talk about what's been going on with our health system and how RFK now plays into a sort of new wide tent thing that the Republicans seem to be doing.

It's not an overstatement to say that in my four years of Stanford undergrad, four years of Stanford Medical School, and four and a half years of surgical training, I did not learn a single thing about what is really making Americans sick. The true root causes of the chronic disease epidemic that's devastating and torturing American lives. The things like the impact of ultra processed food on our health. The incredible 80,000 synthetic toxins that are our food, water, air, our personal care products. And I think what happened on election day this year is that Americans came out and said, we want to bend the curve of the chronic disease epidemic that is destroying American potential. And I think RFK represents someone who's willing to take that on.

But you said so many things there that like, I feel like I've been saying for many years. And people kind of look at you like you're crazy because I think they just are in this world of doctors know everything. And I think you're Telling us in medical. So you learn doctors don't. I always say, if they know everything, why do you always have to get a second opinion?

Only one party in our election cycle this year was talking about chronic illness. The words chronic illness, as far as I know, never came out of the Harris campaign's mouth. And I think that was a real a misstep because Americans are, I think, tired of being gaslit about the fact that there's not a problem right now. And.

All right, people to tell you what an incredible journalist I am. I don't purport to be a journalist, but sometimes people say, Dave, you're a journalist. I don't know. I'm a guy that tells you what I think for a living. I like to fact check. And I have been fact checked in real time right now. I just said a moment ago that Casey and Callie Means are married, their brother and sister, as far as I know, they're not married. Complete screw up by me. And I have no problem addressing it. Apologizing to both of them. And we don't, and we here at the Rubin Report, we don't endorse brother, sister, marriage. Let's leave it at that. The point of all of that, though, is that what Casey illustrated there was. I'm not a crazy Republican and we don't, maybe we don't agree on all of this stuff, but the Trump thing that embraced rfk, it does transcend politics because health transcends politics. So chronic disease and thinking about vaccines and the schedule and all of these things, it shouldn't have become political. But the Democrats wanted nothing to do with it. As we get fat and have all of these endless diseases and all of these psychological problems and all of the stuff that we all know, the Democrats completely ignored it. Trump decided to embrace it. And now here I am on this side of the aisle. And interestingly, guys, it was not always this way. We're going to jump back now about 20 years to Joe Scarborough when I would argue he was slightly less, at least of a sellout than he has become. Here he is interviewing RFK Jr talking about a potential link between vaccines and autism. My son, born in 1991, has a slight form of autism called Asperger's. But it seems, and again, when I was practicing law and also when I was in Congress, parents would constantly come to me and they'd bring me videotapes of their children. And they were all around the age of my son or younger. The generation, the Generation happened in 1989. Exactly what happened was the vaccine schedule was increased. We went up from receiving about 10 vaccines in our generation to these kids received 24 vaccines. And they all had this thimerosal in them, this mercury. And no, nobody bothered to do an analysis of what the cumulative impact of all that mercury was doing to kids. As it turns out, we are injecting our children with 400 times the amount of mercury that FDA or EPA considers safe. Okay? So I don't think for the moment we have to get into a massive vaccine debate or schedule a vaccine debate or anything else. But this, again, this is mostly, as RFK said there, this is mostly about the schedule, the amount of vaccines we put in and the time, the calendar dates that we have now put all of these vaccines in and then all of these vaccines in and then some of the repercussions thereof. I'm happy to continue having those conversations. We've had many people on to discuss that stuff. I can discuss that with RFK again, of course, but the point is that Joe Scarborough There, 20 years ago, it was not particularly controversial for him to ask RFK that stuff or have RFK on. But just think what happened in this election, Skype, in this election cycle. It would have been wildly controversial for him to question vaccines, obviously, or to even have RFK on. As you know, I mentioned it yesterday, Jake Tapper on CNN literally banned RFK from his show because he said his ideas were so dangerous. So congratulations once again, you guys, with your endless hysteria, whether it's hysteria around racism or misogyny or vaccines, you pushed all of the good people together and that's exactly where we are right now. So the button on Joe and Mika Scarborough is that they are going to pivot, right? Like they are creatures who surv. You give the devil his due, they will survive and keep their chairs, at least for a while. We will see what happens with that. But the other thing that's going to be interesting here is now watching as the health movement goes mainstream, as it actually becomes cool to be like, you know, maybe these seed oils are doing something weird or maybe I shouldn't be having all that sugar in the morning in my coffee. Or maybe there is something strange about the amount of high fructose corn syrup we put and everything, or all of the stuff as that happens and everyone starts realizing, boy, there are ways you can very simply make yourself and your family feel better and you can take some control over your life and your health. As that happens, the Democrats are going to get on board of it, are going to get on board a bit and they're going to do it very quickly. Check this video out. New Jersey Democrat Senator, one time presidential candidate Cory Booker yesterday basically now repeating what have become Republican talking points as it pertains to the health food system. Food in America is making us sick. It's driving the highest levels of disease and suffering in our nation's history. And our food system is putting our farmers in economic crisis with most American farmers having to work a job off the farm to make ends meet. Why? Because giant consolidated multinational food corporations make mass profits off of this broken system. More of us have to be aware of what is happening. Our food system is designed to support and subsidize ultra processed junk foods and not the foods that our doctors are telling us that we should eat most of. Think about this for a second. More than 90% of our federal food subsidies go to the foods that can make us sick unless than 10% go to the foods nutritionists say should be the majority of our diet. So do you see what happens when good people get involved and start start saying the truth and saying what they believe in, are informed about these issues? RFK has been screaming about this stuff for years. He then could not get any traction in a deeply, deeply corrupt Democrat party. And then what happened? He then becomes part of the MAGA movement and this new Trump thing that is welcoming, welcoming all these liberals. But it's not just, just that. Then suddenly you have someone like Cory Booker, who I'd say is a fairly mainstream Democrat. And now he's repeating the exact same things. And the reason he's doing it is because now he feels it's safe to do that. Suddenly he's going, boy, I gotta get reelected. I like being Senator of Jersey. Maybe I want to run for president again one day. Why are we seeding the ground of healthy human beings and longer, more functional lives? Why are we ceding the ground to the Republicans? So now you're gonna see them do it too. So again, it just goes to show, if you do the right thing, it's not just you should do the right thing for the purpose of doing the right thing in and of itself. Then you'll get all the people around you to start doing the right thing. There will be more of a trend of that. And that is because of capitalism. That is because of capitalism. It is canola oil. So they're using canola oil in McDonald's fries. But capitalism is the thing that frees you. You then have choice. You can make the choice to eat all of these terrible things, or you can make the choice to eat better things. And you'll see a pretty direct connection between that and your health and your longevity. Capitalism is not the problem. It is what the food system has done. And we can start looking at that and then going, oh, there are marginal ways we can fix it. So he's been a sort of outsider in all of the tech lunacy of the last decade or so. He went on Barry Weiss's podcast and she asked him about Elon's shift to the right. And I thought Peter's answer here not only was quite good, but it explains why so many people broke towards Trump just in the last two weeks.

And then at some point, Elon shifted, and I. And it's overdetermined why he shifted or why you shifted or some of these other people did.

Elon should not, in a normal system, Elon Musk should not be teamed up with Donald Trump on the Republican side of things. In a normal system. If we were just to rewind 30 years, Donald Trump probably would not be a Republican himself. But you guys went crazy with this ideological rigidity and this insane desire to destroy the country and all of the goodness that this country has given to generations of people. And now you've created the coolest, whitest tent great movement that certainly I've ever seen in my adult life, or I would say in my 48 years on planet Earth. Thiel continued. Because it's not just that the Republican side became wider, it's that the thing that the Democrats represented just became thinner and thinner and thinner. And nobody's buying this identity politics BS stuff anymore.

And Trump made an argument, JD Mance made an argument. They made a strong case. And I think there was no argument on the Democratic side. It was free of substance, free of ideas. You know, people. People say that Harris struggled in saying how she was different from Biden, how she was substantively different from Biden, but, you know, that's too narrow a way of putting it. She had nothing to say of substance on anything. And so obviously, if you have zero substance, then there's also zero substantive difference with Biden. But I think the last time the identity politics worked for real was probably the 2008 election with Obama. And it worked because in 2008, we were still in a pre Internet world. And a pre Internet world meant you could tell one message to one group of people and a different message to a different group of people. And so for black Voters, Obama could say he was a black person and they should vote for him because he was black like them. And to white voters, Obama could say he was a post racial person and they should vote for him because he was post racial. By the time you get to 2016, it doesn't actually work. Yeah, Hillary can't tell women to vote for her because she's a woman and men to vote for her because she's a post gender person or something like that. And this sort of micro targeting Mark Penn political Strategy from the 90s was way past its sell by date in 2016.

Yeah, that's completely right. I'm going to sit down in here with Peter in a couple of weeks and we'll expand on that a bit. But that moment right there that he's talking about, about this fakery that because of the Internet they couldn't get away with anymore. Man, what a perfect example of that is. The thing that I kept harping on two days before the election was Obama going up there pushing very fine people out of white supremacist rally, knowing it was a lie. We know he knows it's a lie. He's not an idiot, so he knows it's a lie. But for all of Barack Obama's years as a politician, he was allowed to do that. He was allowed to lie to these people one way and then lie to these people another way. And that's what's happened here with the Democrats when it came to everything, absolutely everything. We even know that in this campaign itself that the Democrats, the Kamala campaign was doing very targeted messages to the Muslims of Dearborn, Michigan about Gaza and then sending very different campaign ads to the Jews of Pennsylvania because it didn't stand for anything other than attaining power. And the Internet is the thing that has ripped the mask off. And that is why the mainstream media is collapsing and everything else. You get all that. So now I want to jump over to a celebrity moment here and I was a little conflicted about this one because I love this guy. I really, really love this guy. He's on my short list of like the five or six people that I have never interviewed that I would love to interview is William Shatner, of course, from Star Trek and Hollywood legend. And I think the guy's 91 years old. He not only looks amazing for 91, but I mean, he's still sharp as attack. You'll see it. Even if you disagree with the conclusions he's coming to here, you'll see he's still got a mind, a way better mind than Joe Biden. But anyway, he went on Bill Maher's podcast a couple days ago, and he was still a little confused as to why the Democrats lost. I am not. I want to be clear to William Shatner and his people. I am not showing this video to own William Shatner in any way. I am showing this video to show a little bit into the mind of how so many people got confused about what the real issues here are. And Bill tries to explain it to him, even though they both ended up voting the same way. So that's kind of funny. But take a look. You'll see. I can't.

That she combined. What was it? Combined several trends of thought, in essence, being black and being a woman. And then Bill says, well, that's identity politics. Politics. That is the part that I think so many people are still confused by. So much of what was driving her. It was all fabricated. It was like, here's a black woman. And that just does not mean anything anymore. So how did we end up in this weird spot where so many people got confused and were like, it doesn't matter what the policies are. I'm voting for a black woman. How did culture get so screwy? Well, one line that I often quote on this show is that politics is downstream from culture. That was from Andrew Breitbart. Breitbart being interviewed back in 2012, talking about how the shift of Hollywood, which was not always a leftist loony bin, how Hollywood went from being something sane to now what we know. The town in those days, produced movie after movie after movie that was fundamentally affirming about American life, fundamentally affectionate even about American life. How did Hollywood go from Republican David Selznick, who produced Gone with the Wind, to liberal David Geffen? What happened? Well, two things. While the left was never able to take over the White house, while George McGovern was not able to be victorious, Hollywood was taken over by the left and they've never relinquished it. And in fact, I would argue that the right has abdicated its place in Hollywood because they were told that you're not wanted here anymore and they never fought for it. The left for its totalitarian behavior towards those that disagree with them or the right, the conservative movement, for just allowing for it to happen and not to fight back. I desperately want to change the environment in Hollywood in two or three sentences. How will you know when you've succeeded, Andrew? When those people who are conservative in my life, who are very creative and powerful in that town, can behave in the same fashion that the Hollywood left behaves in that they can make movies that reflect their value system, that they can make movies that affirm their traditional values. I'm not even a social conservative. I just want those people to be able to make movies that affirm their point of view and they can.

Isn't that interesting? Because he's right. It's not just that the lefties went crazy and took over the entire industry. Hollywood was not always radically pro communism, anti capitalism, and filled with hatred of America and obsessed with identity and chopping kids genitals off. It wasn't. Hollywood used to make great things. And then something happened, and it's partly that the leftists were obsessed with putting politics into art, so they took over the business. But then people on the right broadly just kind of ceded the ground. That's his point. So his win. His win is, oh, there will be basically a parody of these things, that there will be people in Hollywood who will produce things that will be in line with more of their traditional values. And at the same time, he's saying, and he's not even a traditional conservative. Right, he's not even a social conservative. That's what he was saying 20 in 12 years ago. So it's like, boy, he would be pretty thrilled at what's happening here right now. I think he would also be thrilled to understand and to see that Hollywood as an institution has basically completely collapsed. Everyone's making things in completely new ways and AI is on the horizon and everything else. But the culture finally did shift. So now let's jump over, over the weekend, a guy who knows a little something about Hollywood, Sylvester Stallone, a guy who made it in the 80s, which I think is exactly the reboot we're about to have. Here he is talking about Trump and there's a little bro hug involved as well.

And Donald Trump's story is something like the guy who was the New York City businessman who kind of, you know, whatever he did with women in business and blah, blah, blah. But now has become something beyond a politician, and he's not there to be worshiped. You shouldn't worship the guy, but the guy just stood up to the machine. He did the David versus Goliath thing. And it's odd to think that David was a billionaire in this story, but he was. And now we have a chance to restore everything. So, of course, as we get things restored and as we do that hero's journey that Sylvester Stallone is talking about, the machine is going to throw everything they can at him and of course, all of the people who defend him. Local TV is held to a higher standard of accountability than social media platforms in terms of having accurate information on their platforms. That is crazy. And so it is. How. How does it change? How is it. How is it. How are people held to account? Laws have to change. Oh, yeah, we better hold you people to account. You people aren't voting the way we want you to vote. You guys think about different things than we want you to think about. As Peter Thiel said before, enough of us got sick of that intellectual straitjacket. And that's what Jen Psaki wants to keep you in. Which is ironic because she works at a televised mental institution where most of those people should be in straitjackets. He's a great political thinker and cultural critic, I would say. But of course it's not just going to be that. They are going to put the wrong people in jail. They will try to destroy good people's businesses until this thing ends. And Biden actually could take advantage of some of the reordering that we feel throughout the world right now, not just in America, but quite literally across the globe. And he can actually pave the way for a really nice transition into a Trump presidency that I believe is going to reignite the American dream and bring back an 80s style revolution in America. So Biden, and again, we don't know if Biden's running the show or it's Jill or whoever, but I think there's a real opportunity for him right now to do the right thing and usher in a really strong four years for Donald Trump. All right? So I have no idea if Joe Biden's going to do that. So is Biden going to go all in on driving us to World War Three for the next three months so that Donald Trump has to pick up the. Possibly the ashes of that, maybe. But if there's anything sane left over there for whatever internal fighting is happening with the Democrats, whatever that is, if there's anything sane, it's like Biden. You got a chance, man. You don't have to placate. You could see that Donald Trump's gonna do some good things here and you could be a part of it. And it would make the people who will show up at your library one day a lot happier because the library will be something that'll be worth attending rather than, oh, this is the guy who, like, basically broke America in half. And then Donald Trump had to pick up all of the pieces. And there's so much innovation on the way. Guys, there is a new world on the horizon. It is coming.
