It is March 12, 2025. We are live streaming, streaming on your computer, your telephone and your other device that you have. And I don't even know what it is, as we always do. We got a big show for you and we have a halftime guest at about 11:30, Ezra Levant, the founder and creator of Rebel News up in Canada, who is actually a true journalist. Usually when I say the word journalist, I have to put air quotes around it. These people are activists, not journalists. Ezra is doing an incredible amount of journalism, not just in Canada, but literally all over the world. And obviously, there's a lot of change happening in Canada right now with Justin Trudeau stepping down as prime minister. They've brought in a new guy as head of the Liberal Party and prime minister. We'll talk a little bit about that. We'll talk about the, what can you call it, the brewing trade war, let's say, between Canada and, and the United States. And will Canada be the 51st state? We shall see. So we'll do that at about 11:30. We're gonna start with some socialists, some old socialists here in America, like Bernie Sanders. We'll talk a bit more about Ukraine. There's a peace deal basically arriving at the desk of Putin as we speak and a whole bunch more. So let's just dive right into it. Bernie Sanders, you know Bernie Sanders, he talks like this. He's kinda like he's choking on a piece of corned beef and complaining about America all the time. He's a socialist. He has three houses. He's a millionaire. The revolution's gonna eat him, but he's still doing it and he's whatever. Okay, this, he went on one of these podcasts with one of these people that can't get a boner, and they talked about how scared they are about everything. There was also like a, there was a gravity in your voice and a sense that in a way that I maybe hadn't heard before. I don't know if you agree with that.

These are, you know, the scariest times in my lifetime. That's all. I mean, I think that's objectively the truth. You know, it is not just they want to give tax breaks to billionaires and cut programs for working people. Frankly, that's happened before. But you combine that with the power of the oligarchy in general. You combine that with Mr. Musk owning Twitter and able to send out his messages to hundreds of millions of people. You combine that with the fact that people like Bezos, the second wealthiest person in the country, fired or got rid of most of his editorial staff and is going to convert them into a right wing thing. Combine that with the fact that Trump is suing major media outlets and is threatening to investigate PBS and npr. So it's not only the power of money, it's also combined with that, the movement toward authoritarianism.

All right, so before we do the analysis, and I promise you that we will do analysis of all of the bullet points that he just laid out there. He's very scared. He's very, very scared. Could we just throw to a screenshot of that? Just everything about this, the color, the body language of the interviewer and Bernie, this sort of just pathetic, asexual, low testosterone nothingness. That's why they depend on the government, because they're not men. They're not real people who want to go out and do anything for themselves. There is some connection there. I think. You can just see it. You really can just see it with the body language like this. So why is Bernie so scared? Well, first off, people are getting tax break. That is very, very scary because Bernie is a good man. And Bernie wants more of your money to do what he wants with your money. Cuz he's a good man. Right, Bernie, you're a good socialist. He's also very worried because Elon Musk owns Twitter and can get his message out there. Now first off, Elon could get his message out there before owning Twitter. But what was happening before Elon owned Twitter is we know that Twitter was working with the government. It is a 100% fact to silence people, to shadow ban people, to censor people, to eliminate accounts, and a whole bunch of stuff that we probably don't even know. He wasn't really fearful of that. So that's kind of interesting. You're very concerned about corruption, but not when the government is working with giant corporations to silence the American people, which ironically is fascism. And you're always calling everyone fascist. So you're owe for two there, Bernie. He's also concerned that Jeff Bezos fired some of the staff over at Washington Post and now they'll become a right wing paper. Well, first off, there's no evidence that the Washington Post is becoming a right wing paper. From everything I've seen over the last couple weeks, they're as bad as they've always been. But he did say that editorially, they are gonna defend capitalism and free markets. That's well within their right. And it's within Bezos's right as the man who owns the paper, to select what direction they wanna go in. But unfortunately, again, when it was going the other way, when they were pushing all of the woke crap and chopping off kids genitals and America's evil and racist and capitalism, socialism is great. That was good for old Bernie. So, Bernie, you're over three. Trump is gonna investigate npr. Oh, shit. I just. I pooped in my pants. I'm sitting in poop right now. That's how scared I am. Just kidding. Bernie's sitting in poop, though, obviously. Like, obviously he's worried about that. Bernie was also alive during 9 11. Wasn't that a little scarier? Bernie, I know you weren't in New York City. I was in New York City when two planes hit the towers and thousands of people were killed and felt like America was hanging on by a thread. That was pretty scary. Bernie was alive during the Cuban Missile Crisis. That seemed pretty scary. We could probably go through some other things that would be pretty scary. But Bernie is very scared because free speech is back and what he's really scared of, and this is the end of an old socialist. What do you get at the end of an old socialist? Well, because socialism never works. You get a bitter old person clinging onto ideas that are utterly irrelevant. Alas, he doesn't have much to worry about because he is a millionaire with three houses. So he'll be okay. But let's shift over to some other Democrats. There's this chick, Elisa Slotkin over. She's a congresswoman over in Michigan, and nobody heard of this woman until a week ago. And after Trump's speech in front of Congress and the Senate, Alisa came out and they gave her the rebuttal. And it was like, they just don't know who to choose. So they just picked someone that no one had ever heard of. She's not particularly bright or good or anything else. Anyway, she went on the View. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I read the comments. I read some of the comments every day. That's what I do when I'm at lunch. I try not to read comments, like, too much. But when I have lunch after the show, I quickly glance in and I know. And there's this constant struggle. Dave, we hate the women of the View. We're addicted to the women of the View. How many times you have to show it? Please keep showing us more. It's tough. Anyway, Elisa Slotkin went on the View and basically mocked the hell out of you.

I think there's a feeling in the country, and I often say this. You know, we're about to turn 250 years old, right? We're still pretty young for a country. These are our, like. Like our angry teenage years, right? We are going through this push and pull where we're happy, we're sad, we want this, we want that. And what do you do when you have a teenager who's threatening themselves and others? You just try to get them through this period alive so that their brain can fully form and you can come back to kind of, what country? No, I'm talking about our country. We're a pendulum swinging. We're a pendulum swinging. And so for me, I think that this. I don't think there's a single American who feels like this is normal.

I feel like it's pretty normal. We're having some transparency in government. We're figuring out where fraud is. We're protecting the border, we're saying that men are men and women are women, bringing peace to Ukraine and Russia and a bunch more. But she wants you to think that you're a child, right? You're a child now. She is right about one thing. The 250 years. We're gonna hit our 250th anniversary in two years. We're pretty young as a country, actually. And many countries don't make it to 250, and many don't make it beyond 250, and we should be very aware of that. But if you're concerned about children whose brains aren't fully formed, if you're worried about teenagers running the show, you need only look at your party, right? It's your party who's constantly acting like children and talking about burning it down and why the whole thing was bad from the beginning and obliterating facts and using authoritarian means to inject people with stuff, et cetera, et cetera. I sense a future for that woman on the View, actually, because she's so muddled that it would just be perfect. So just to illustrate it, again, guys, it's not that we are children. It's suddenly the country is acting like adults and the children are up said about it. We will have more on that in a moment. But first, BHMD1. Let's bring in Paul Perez, National Border Patrol Council President. Paul, I want to read for our audience just some of these stats. The total number taken in 646 of them, 543 were criminal aliens. Seven were documented gang members. And the ICE Houston agent said in just a week they executed 671 criminal arrest warrants and made 554 administrative arrests that included illegally present human smugglers, gang members, human traffickers, child sex offenders, drug traffickers and weapons traffickers. That's a lot. How are, how are the cartels responding to all of that?

Well, they're going to get more aggressive and that's only one week of doing this. Imagine four years. We're going to put a dent in what President Biden did to this country by allowing everybody to come in unvetted, all the criminals, cartel members. And so that's just one step. That's the first step in the first six weeks. So it's Gonna get a lot better for us. That, ladies and gentlemen, is the adults being in charge. That was just Houston. That's what they were talking about. And that was just one week, by the way. Houston. That's Al Green. That's Al Green's district. Al Green, the pimp with the cane who doesn't shave properly, who was yelling at Trump during the big speech. That's Al Green's department over there. Do you think Al Green was gonna do anything about the illegals that were there? I don't think so, but the adults are in charge. So we are removing illegals. We are removing criminals, sending them back to where they came from. Thus, we can focus on the citizens of the United States of America. I was trying to speak slowly there in case any of the children that Lee Slotkin was talking about were watching, but I know I don't have to do that for you. Benny Johnson put this up. Breaking the Trump administration pauses all federal funding to Maine universities for refusing to ban men from women's sports. So this is obviously the next big fight. Maine is one of the few states that is refusing to go along with this executive action. This is basic stuff. Again, I don't even want to bother doing the asterisk. Treat these people with respect and everything else. I would prefer that men not kick the shit out of women in sports. That's the policy of the federal government. Maine wants to go the other way. Okay, you're not getting our cash. There you go. Let's jump over to the televised mental institution known as msnbc. They are very upset that they are cutting jobs over at the Department of Education. Note, they never tell you what these people were actually doing for a living, but them losing a job is very upsetting. The Department of Education under Donald Trump.

This could lead to over 2,000 career employees getting termination. Oh, dear, oh, dear. What will the Department of Education do? That means there's 4,000 people, roughly, that work at the Department of Education. I've walked by the Department of Education many of times. When we're in D.C. it's a big building. Basically, nobody's there, like in most of the big buildings in D.C. that's one of the strangest things about going to D.C. every time I go, it's changing a little bit now because they're bringing people back to work. But post Covid, you have these massive, massive, giant buildings in D.C. and it's just basically a ghost town. You see no lights on anywhere. There's no commerce on the streets. There's no people walking around. That's one part. But, okay, so 4,000 people work at the Department of Education. Do you think that the Department of Education, whatever it does, do you think they need 4,000 people to do it? So that's why when they analyze this stuff on msnbc, what they want you to do is just feel emotion, right? So the emotion is, my God, they're firing 2,000 people. That's half the workforce. That's very scary. They're mean. And what are we gonna do about those people? They never tell you, well, what do those people do? Have they been coming to work? Is the Department of Education doing its proper job? Are they within their budget? And does any of it make sense to have a centralized system or anything else? Well, new head of the Department of education, Secretary Linda McMahon, who is the wife of Vince McMahon, who, of course, you know, basically. Well, he's the son of original Vince McMahon, who created the WWE, WWF, Hogan, Andre. Give me a. Who's a wrestler now? Rey Mysterio. Rey Mysterio. Rey Mysterio. Didn't that guy fight Spider man in one of the movies? Or that's just regular Mysterio. All right, we got a Rey Mysterio now. Anyway, they've done a lot of stuff. They got a lot of money. Linda's taking this job literally. She said, so she can put herself out of work to basically blow apart the Department of Education. And here she is laying out what would make more sense post centralized DC Department of Education. This is a new world for you, this Education Department. How shocked were you, if at all about how swampy it really is?

Well, this is my fifth day on the job. And so, you know, I did serve in the administrative, the first administration sba. But so when I got to the Department of Education, the President said, look, I need an executive. I need a leader in the department. And so when I got there and I found out, I said, okay, we have to identify where the bloat is, where the bureaucracy is, and let's start. We're going to start there because the programs, so many of the programs are really excellent. We need to make sure that that money does get to the states, but we want more money to be able to go to the States. And that's what the President said all along. If we get rid of the Bureaucracy. The states will get more. It will go directly into the states, block grants to states, perhaps block grants without so many strings and red tape attached to it.

So what do you have there? You have a lady who obviously is competent and qualified, someone who has helped as CEO run a business that is worth billions and billions of dollars over the last couple decades. She's been intimately involved in all this. How intimately involved has she been in it? Connor, can you show me something just to really illustrate how intimately involved this woman has been in running successful businesses? And you guys complain when I bitch slap you after one of our team meetings. It's really ridiculous. But okay, the point is, guys, you get it. She's created something of value and now she's going in there and they're looking at who's doing their work here. What is it that we're all doing? How about we don't do this top down thing where the federal government is telling all the states what to do, but we kick it back to the states so states can make decisions as it pertains to education. There's more money in the states and then it makes. We all know why. It makes more sense why a bottom up system makes more sense. I have just been told, by the way, that Logan Paul, I guess is big in the WWE right now. That is wild to me, but I guess times are a change. And do we have that other video by any chance yet? Do we have the other. We don't have the other thing. All right, I'm working on one other WWE thing for you, but let's jump over to more of the waste in government that is going away. This is from Chief Nerd over on the X. The National Institute of Health. NIH is abruptly terminating at least 33 research grants for projects studying why some people are hesitant to receive vaccines. An additional nine grants may be modified or cut back. Scientists who received these grants began to receive termination letters this evening. A person with direct knowledge of the situation says NIH has also requested lists of projects involving messenger rna, which is mRNA, obviously vaccines, which some vaccine skeptics are unsafe. So again, it's interesting. I actually do believe that there is value in the government funding science for the purpose of science. It's an interesting debate, right? So you can have science that is focused on a specific thing like we're specifically funding vaccines. You might say, well, why would we have NASA? Why are we looking into the stars? What is the direct relevance and value for the American people? I believe, I actually do believe there is some value. And you can figure out, should it be public, should it be private, should it be some combination thereof, something like that. But I believe some money could go to pure, pure pursuit of science. If you want more of a debate on that, watch the movie Contact with Jodie Foster and Matthew McConaughey by the great Carl Sagan, directed by Robert Zemeckis, who did Back to the Future, by the way. There's a little moment where they debate that sort of thing. But the point here is we are cutting. We're looking at the things that we have just poured money into for no reason. And I'm sorry, scientist who works at the nih. You getting money for your research as to why people were skeptical of vaccines? Well, I was skeptical of the vaccine. Cause you guys kept telling me to inject myself with it while you were telling me to stay at home and telling me that if I stood up at a restaurant, I had to wear a mask. But if I sat down at a restaurant, I didn't have to wear a mask. So I was a little skeptical. I don't know how many millions of dollars you need to figure that out. We've got a bit more on just the overhaul of everything happening with the government right now. This is from new head of the dni, Tulsi Gabbard. Per President of the United States directive, I have revoked security clearances and barred access to classified information for Antony Blinken, Jake Sullivan, Lisa Monaco, Mark Zaid, Norman Ison, Letitia James, Alvin Bragg and Andrew Weissman, along with the 51 signers of the Hunter Biden disinformation letter. The President's Daily Brief is no longer being provided to President Biden. So again, guys, whether it's cutting employees at the Department of Education or cutting waste over at the NIH, or the head of DNI revoking access to people who don't deserve access anymore. People who blatantly lied to destroy lives. Those 51 former intelligence officials who all said that Hunter Biden's laptop was Russian misinformation after we had done the whole Russia collusion thing, which then led the government to work with Twitter to silence the New York Post from even putting up their article, which all turned out to be true. Ironically, we started this show with Bernie saying how he's very worried about Twitter now because of Elon. He again was not worried about it when it was pushing Russian misinformation or hiding links that it didn't want being seen. I think you get the point. We've got more here from Eric Daughtry. Just in the American gas prices for March fell to their lowest point since March 2021. So that is a good sign. Look, we all know I referenced it yesterday. We all know the economy is in a transition phase right now. Look, if you've got any money in the stock market, you're probably not thrilled right now. It's hurting just a bit. But as Trump pointed out, we're going through a transition. We're going through some pain points here. But there is a lot of good evidence, not just what we just read on gas prices. You know, it's funny, I was on Piers Morgan 2 days ago, or was it yesterday? And I said, you people. I was talking to this girl who's a communist, Brianna something. And I said, you people talking about communists. So of course all the people on Twitter were saying that I was racist. Okay. Anywho, it's just another day and another false cry of racism. Ezra, it's good to see you. There's a lot going on that we've been covering as it relates to American Canadian relations. So I wanna start. I'm gonna read a tweet from Donald Trump, have you respond to that, and then we'll just dive into absolutely everything. Are we gonna have electricity in Canada? We'll find out. Or in America? We'll find out. But here's what Trump said yesterday. Based on Ontario Canada placing a 25% tariff on electricity coming into the United States. I have instructed my Secretary of Commerce to add an additional 25% tariff to 50% on all steel and aluminum coming into the United States from Canada, one of the highest tariffing nations anywhere in the world. This will go into effect tomorrow morning, March 12th. Also, Canada must immediately drop their anti American farmer tariff of 250 to 390% on various US dairy products, which has long been considered outrageous. I will shortly be declaring a national emergency on electricity within the threatened area. This will allow the US to quickly do what has to be done to alleviate this abusive threat from Canada. If other egregious long time tariffs are likewise dropped by Canada, I will substantially increase on April 2nd the tariffs on cars coming into the US which will essentially permanently shut down the automobile manufacturing business in Canada. Those cars can easily be made in the usa. Also, Canada pays very little for national security, relying on the United States for military protection. We are subsidizing Canada to the tune of more than $200 billion a year. Why? This cannot continue. The only thing that makes sense is for Canada to become our cherished 51st state. This would make all tariffs and everything else totally disappear. Canadians taxes will be substantially reduced. They will be more secure, militarily and otherwise than ever before. There would no longer be a northern border problem. And our greatest and most powerful nation in the world will be bigger, better, and stronger than ever. And Canada will be part of that. The artificial line of separation drawn many years ago will finally disappear. And we will have the safest and most beautiful nation anywhere in the world. And your brilliant anthem, oh, Canada, will continue to play. But now representing a great and powerful state within the greatest nation that the world has ever seen. Hello, my American friend. What do you have to say about all that?

Well, you know, there's a couple things going on. This all started in November when Trump tweeted, hey, Mexico, Hey, Canada, by the time I'm inaugurated in January 20th, can you please help me with two crime problems. A lot of drugs coming in from your countries, a lot of illegals. And he added an or else. He said, or else we'll put on tariffs. But he really wanted to focus on those two things, which are such core campaign promises for Trump. Stop the fentanyl, stop the illegal migration. And in Canada, there was a moral hazard at play. Dave, the thing is, Justin Trudeau had. Was on his way out. So he didn't. He didn't have the same interests as Canada, certainly not the same interests as Trump. He would rather not get a deal and go out as Captain Canada fighting against Trump. So Trump thought, oh, these guys will say yes to strengthening the border, cracking down on fentanyl, cracking down on illegal immigration. That's so easy for them to do. It's in their interest. Anyways, that was just a flourish. It was an exclamation point, the tariff thing. But to Trudeau and Trudeau 2.0, who just took over yesterday, it was the opposite. It's in their personal and political interest to not get a deal with Trump. And as crazy as it sounds, the more punishing Trump's tariffs are on Canada, the better it suits them to say we're the anti Trump defenders.

I want to mention Mark Carney, who now is the Prime Minister of Canada. So. So he's the leader of the Liberal Party. Justin Trudeau has stepped down. And I want to show you this video that Pierre. I always pronounce his name wrong. Paul Yvette Poliev. Polyev Poliev. Jordan Peterson always says it's spelled perfectly so that everyone will mispronounce it. Well, the consumer is already paying more. Just to be clear. The consumer is already paying more. How the economy works, what the. The big companies are producing, by and large, are not products that we are consuming. There's some element of that, but by and large, you know, a steel company. How much, how much steel are you using these days, Todd? I'm trying to explain a bit of how the economy works. Biggest supplier of semiconductors. We supply almost all their semiconductors that hold. But this guy, I mean, look, we've been joking about Trudeau for years. He's done so many horrible things to your country. It's such a. I have so much love and affection for, for Canada and Canadians and I love going up to Canada and I'm here in Florida where we have so many of your snowbirds that come down here. And I just love the Canadian spirit and sense of humor. But it seems to me you might have gotten even worse with this guy because he looks a little bit more sane or his affect is a little bit more sane, but it seems like it's gonna be the same result.

Yeah, that clip you played is more goofy and flip floppy and it's not as ominous. Let me tell you a few things about Mark Carney that actually scare me more than some of the goofy things he said about not using steel. Canada is a semiconductor, you know, superconductor giant. It's not, but those are almost in the. In the way of like spelling potato wrong or something. But here's what scares me about Mark Carney. He's a board member of the World Economic Forum. That's his haunt. He was a senior guy there. He's a globalist with three passports. He left Canada decades ago to become the head of the central bank in England. And I don't know why he needs three passports. I don't think he's lived in Canada in more than 10 years. His wife continues to live and work in New York City. I think that's actually where he hangs out. He was installed as our Prime Minister. He was. No Canadian has ever voted for him. He's never won elected office. The vote that put him in, children as young as 14 were allowed to vote in the Liberal primary. Foreign citizens were allowed to vote. So this guy was immediately catapulted to Prime Minister. He hasn't been vetted. We know next to nothing about him. He's made public statements about he's going to double down on woke. He's not going to follow America's path. He's close friends with China. He used to run a mini blackrock called Brookfield Asset Management where he would push ESG into any companies they manage. It was like Larry Fink of blackrock, just a little bit smaller. So this guy is. I would say the closest comparison is Larry Fink of BlackRock. BlackRock Mini called Brookfield just acquired Canada and I think they did it with the help of the Chinese government. I know that sounds crazy, but let me put my theory out there. 400,000 people registered to vote in the Liberal Party primary.

That's a good number. Two thirds of them were disqualified. So Carney won with based on a third of the vote. We don't know who was disqualified. Was it a foreign operation? The CCP has tried to interfere in Canadian elections before according to our own spy agency called csis. So we know so little about Carney. The vote process that catapulted it into the Prime Ministership was opaque. There's so many strange things about it. But there's one thing we know. He is smarter than Trudeau. He looks better than Trudeau, he's not as goofy as Trudeau. And it is in his interest to fight with America, but it's not in Canadians interests. That's what I'm scared of, Dave. I don't want Trump versus Carney to become like Trump versus Trudeau. And the collateral damages the relationship between our two countries.

Well, let's talk about that for a second because everyone that I like, nobody dislikes Canada. Nobody. And I don't think Donald Trump dislikes Canada. And we'll get to some of his other statements in a second. But this tension, it feels like there's a certain set of people that do want this tension between our countries. To me, reordering some of our deals so that we're not being hit so hard economically while we do so much for you, makes full sense. What do you think is the way, what's the off ramp here?

Well, I mean, I have an idea that sort of flipping the script here. And I don't know, about a dozen years ago I wrote a book defending Canada's oil sands. I'm not sure if you know about the oil sands. Actually, they were only developed about 25 years ago. They're the third largest source of oil in the world behind Saudi Arabia and Venezuela. It's just north of the border of Montana. So you got all this oil there. And here's the. Let me give you my, my plan to flip the script. A dozen years ago, the oil sands were under attack by lefties who were anti oil and anti carbon. And I said, well, guys, using your left wing values, Canada's oil sands are the fair trade coffee of the world's oil industry. You care about peace, you care about environmentalism, you care about civil rights, all those things. The oil sands have that Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, Venezuela don't. That's the left wing case for the oil sands. But now, Dave, I want to talk to you about the America first plan. Hear me out, give me 90 seconds.

You mentioned the $200 billion trade surplus. That's oil. Number one thing Canada sells to America is oil. It's not cars, it's not agriculture, it's oil. And that oil is displacing conflict oil from opec. Every barrel of oil you buy from the Canadian oil sands is one fewer barrels you're buying from the mullahs and the terrorists and Venezuela. And so right now, Alberta, Canada, the most pro America province, is your number one source of oil exports. I spoke with the Premier of Alberta. That's like the Texas of Canada, Danielle Smith. She is friendly to America. She went down to Trump's inauguration and she says she wants to double the oil production and sell it to America. That Keystone XL pipeline could be revived. Biden killed it on day one. So here's the plan. Instead of tariffing the oil sands, which isn't going to work because you can't, it's not like A factory that you can move to America. The oil sands are where they are. And so you put a tariff on that. That's just going to jack up prices for US refineries. Here's the plan. I call it deal of the century. There's 170 billion barrels of oil just sitting there. That is enough to, if you double the production, that's enough to last for 50 years. It can totally get America off OPEC oil. And it's being developed by either American companies or Canadian companies with big US shareholders. You don't need to patrol the Persian Gulf sea lanes to protect it. And you already have preferential access under the usmca. So instead of pushing Canadian oil away, maybe into the hands of China, God forbid, pull it all in and say we want to buy all of it. 50 year deal, that's $13 trillion. And by the way, Canada, all the money we're going to pay for this oil, we expect you to revitalize your military, we expect you to strengthen the border. So I say look at it like a real estate tycoon. You're looking at Greenland, you're looking at Panama, you're looking at Gaza. That's chump change. Get the oil sands, lock it in for 50 years. That's my counter plan. That's my thesis, Dave.

And look, if we can't work that out, and we don't want all of Canada because you know, you've got a lot of jihadis in Toronto, we might just take Calgary and Western Canada and we'll get the oil and the freedom loving people, as you pointed out, who so many of them love America and freedom and all that stuff. I wanna read this tweet from Charlie Kirk, cuz it's an update. On what? On Trump's tweet that we just read a Moment ago. Breaking four hours after President Trump escalated U.S. tariffs on Canada, Ontario has agreed to suspend its 25% tariff on electricity exports to the U.S. pending negotiations on a renewed USMCA trade deal. Translation, Trump's massive retaliation work. So it does seem, regardless of any of our positions on tariffs or anything else, it does seem that some of the pressure is getting this to work.

You know, Doug Ford, because Trudeau just was swapped out for Mark Carney, there's sort of a political void in Canada right now. It would be like switching from Biden to Harris. And so Doug Ford, he has no constitutional power to make any deals with America. I think he's just taking the opportunity to be the big dog or something in Canada. But you can be the biggest dog in Canada. You're still a puppy when it comes to the United States. I want to get back to, you know what? I. The analogy I use is Batman and Robin. Look, Batman's always going to be bigger and stronger. Right now Batman's giving Robin a noogie and we don't like it. But I want to get back to us being allies and friends and partners. And the trouble is people like Doug Ford, who we just saw there, people like Mark Carney, people like Justin Trudeau, they would actually prefer to fight for two reasons. Number one, Pierre Poliev, the Conservative candidate you mentioned, he's good. And on a head to head matchup, the Liberals are gonna lose to him. However, if the Liberals can say we're campaigning against Trump, only we can save you from Trump, they're gonna do a lot better on the polls running against Trump. Second thing is, Dave, I gotta say there is and has always been a bit of an anti American streak in Canada. It goes back to Pierre Trudeau, who would pal around with Castro and you know, he went to the Soviet Union and communist China. So there's always been a bit of an anti American streak up here and the media party and the Liberal Party are tapping into it. So you've got these bad actors who have what's called a moral hazard. Trump is used to being in a real estate deal where he is willing to walk away and the other guy is desperate for a deal. Well, flip that around. Trump wants a deal, but the other guys don't. Mark Carney, the new Prime Minister of Canada, would rather not get a deal so he can victimize Canada and say, I'm here to rescue you, Canada only I can defend against the evil Trump.

Right. It's a good point. The pressures that they're under, the levers that they can use are interesting because the lever they can use to gin up the most votes for the Liberal Party might be the most anti Canadian thing possible. It'll keep them in power, but it'll keep Batman giving the noogie to Robin. You mentioned Greenland. So I want to show Trump yesterday was asked a bit about what we're doing with Canada, this kind of artificial border we have, and how Greenland could also be in the mix.

When you take away that artificial line that looks like it was done with a ruler, and that's what it was. Some guy sat there years ago and they said, rah. Well, when you take away that and you look at that beautiful formation of Canada and the United States, there is no place anywhere in the world that looks like that plus Greenland. And then if you add Greenland, that's even. I mean, that's pretty.

It's going to look beautiful. What do you think, my Canadian friend? I mean, it is a. It is a straight line that feels like it. Probably somebody was looking at a map and just had. And literally had a ruler and went like this. I mean, a lot of countries are like that. When you look at borders, they look kind of weird. But then you throw Greenland into the mix. Something is brewing here.

Yeah, well, I mean, if you think about the Arctic, China's making a play up there, Russia's making a play. And I think Trump is cognizant of that. And he also knows that America has been footing the bill to defend all of Canada basically throughout the Cold War, and Canada has had a free ride. It's true. All the things Trump's complaining about are legitimate, and Canadians should want to do them in our own interest, like beef up our military spending. We keep out US Dairy and poultry products, which means poor people in Canada have to pay a lot more for their food essentials. Rich people can pay double for milk, double for eggs. They don't care. But so we have all these foolish rules. Trump wants to sweep them away. Here's the thing. When you say to someone who's married, hey, come marry me. Divorce the guy you're with and marry me, that's sort of a shocking thing. It's an indecent proposal, as the movie with Woody Harrelson is called. Now, some people who were thinking, well, I gotta divorce my man anyway. So here's Trump coming to make me. That's when you say, come join America. You're not just saying, join America, you're saying, leave what you have now. And any country is gonna have people who are nationalists and patriots and so it's gonna hurt the feelings of people. It's gonna say, that's an outrageous thing to say. Now, some Canadians would want that deal because they think the current deal we have in Canada is sort of a raw deal. But here's my idea. How about take the best of us and leave the parts you probably don't want. You probably don't want an Electoral college as big as California that's gonna go Democrat most of the time. You probably don't want the French, English, bilingualism, which is part of our country. We got that French Quarter called Quebec. They're wonderful people. They like speaking French. Imagine that in your Congress. So what I would say to people who propose a merger, I'd say, how about use your USMCA that was negotiated by. Trump has special preference for America. Take. What do you really want? You want America? You want Canada to be strong militarily, to hold its own? You want to crack down on the drugs and the illegal immigration? You want the oil? Pull in the oil. Don't let China sniff around there. China would love to get that strategic asset. Don't let it fall into Chinese hands. Take the good stuff. Give us enough dough for the oil that we can rearm. And some Canadians would love to join America, but, you know, it's just a patriotic and nationalistic thing. It would be like saying your state should merge with another state. A lot of people are affectionate for their state for historical or emotional reasons. Fair enough. Now, Trump, listen, he's a hell of a negotiator, and these are. This is how he puts the other side off balance. It's just a little weird when it's Canada, your best buddy for the longest time, that's being wobbled a bit. That's all that's going on.

All I know is, as I keep saying, I'm down here in Florida, where we get a lot of Canadian snowbirds, and an awful lot of them suddenly are staying for the summers, too. It's one thing when they come for the winters, but when they start staying for the summers, you know something's wrong. You are out there in all of the hotspots everywhere, whether you're going to the WEF or you're fighting with the Hamas supporters in Toronto or whatever else it is. What legal fights are you in right now? Is there anything you really want that we can shine a light on for the moment.

We've got so many battles. I think we have seven different lawsuits against the federal government. Almost all of them have to do with censorship or police arresting our journalists. We've been arrested five times in the last year just for asking questions. They're probably gonna ban us from the election debates, so we'll have to go to court again. It's just what we do. I mean, I couldn't even list all of our fights. We're a fighting organization because if you believe in freedom, Canada is a battleground. My message to you, Dave, never give up your First Amendment. Look at Canada as a time machine of what you would be like in five years if you kept going down the road of Kamala Harris or Gavin Newsom. If you want to know what Canada's like, think of Gavin Newsom. That's what Trudeau was like the last nine years. So stay on guard. You can never get complacent in the fight for freedom. Let's talk about the other portion of that, which is Greenland. It does feel like one way or another, the maps and some of these artificial boundaries are changing. Greenland actually just had an election yesterday. Check this out from AP News. Center right party wins most votes in Greenland's parliamentary election as Trump seeks control. So the center right party, I'm obviously not an expert in internal Greenland politics and I won't pretend to be much unlike most of the people that you'll be getting your that other people get their news from that will suddenly know everything about internal Greenland politics. But the center right, as you can imagine in Greenland, they're now more pro US and kind of anti Denmark. Denmark's running the show in Greenland, so that sort of makes sense. Here's a little more on the breakdown of the election. This is from early vote data. Greenland election update. About 70% of the vote is in. Democrats in first. Then Nalarek and the unit. No, it's Inuit. Inuit, right. Yeah. Counting. This is what happens. You read a prompt. Counting is almost done, but they have to certify the results before final approval. Final results should come in soon. Here is some of the clarification into regards to what each party wants and would likely do. The Democrats who are center right are pro independents but want a slow process, pro free market economy. Cautious of USA Trump but not against doing a deal. The party on the right, Nalarek, is pro independence and want a faster process. Pro usa, pro deal, military protection with the US Inuit is the center incumbent party, pro independence. Socialist light is the best description that this Twitter account could come up with. They want Greenland to be competitive with trade. Hard to determine if they would want to deal with the US or Denmark, but the USA has more money, so it's probably likely taking that. Today is my first foray into Greenland politics. I could see a bunch of different ruling coalitions developing. I think we can leave it there. The broader point on this is that when Trump is now floating this idea of us taking Greenland, there is momentum on the ground for that. And the real magic of Trump as we transition now over to Russia, Ukraine is that Trump speaks and then the world sort of reorders itself. Right? What did Trump do just a couple weeks ago he said the US will basically take over Gaza and no more of this bullshit two state solution. The terrorists have gotta go and we can invest in it and it can become this incredible place on the Mediterranean with the same exact beach as Tel Aviv. No one was willing to say that before. And there are now, things in the works to start making that happen. Well, Trump also said, we've got to get peace with Russia, Ukraine. Ukraine can't win this war without us. Obviously, they had the very testy meeting with Trump and J.D. vance and Zelensky and the White House about two weeks ago. And then what happened yesterday? Well, here is new Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

Today, we made an offer that the Ukrainians have accepted, which is to enter into a ceasefire and into immediate negotiations to end this conflict in a way that's enduring and sustainable and accounts for their interests, their security, their ability to prosper as a nation. I want to personally thank. We both want to thank the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, His Majesty, for hosting us, for making this possible. They've been instrumental in this process, and we're very grateful to them for hosting us here today. And hopefully, we'll take this offer now to the Russians, and we hope that they'll say yes, that they'll say yes to peace. The ball is now in their court. But again, the president's objective here is number one above everything else, he wants the war to end. And I think today Ukraine has taken a concrete step in that regard. We hope the Russians will reciprocate.

All right, once again, I just want to say, on the Marco Rubio note, he was just meant to have this job. It's so obvious to me on the specifics of it. Look, when that meeting happened 10 days ago or so with Trump and Zelensky and JD in the White House, and it got real testing and everything, almost all of the media was going crazy. My God, Trump's operating for the Russians. JD Is awful, and Zelensky is the hero, and we have to relentlessly back him. I mean, we played plenty of clips on that sort of thing, and then look what has happened now. Ten days later, Ukraine has agreed to the. At least the initial version of a ceasefire, and now you take it to Russia. So the fighting, hopefully, if Russia signs born, at least this first stage of a ceasefire, the fighting can pause and they can talk it out. Okay, are there gonna be territorial concessions? What is the map gonna look like? But at least we're at the beginning of that, and there's going to be less death and destruction. That seems good. So what Trump did was, hey, the gravy train is over. You've gotta come to the table. And suddenly Ukraine's coming to the table. Now, for all the people that think Trump is a Russian stooge, well, now it's on Russia. And if Russia says no, we're not gonna talk about a ceasefire, well, then American policy will change accordingly. So, again, it's good things happening by thinking of things a little bit differently. Here's Trump on that, but very importantly.

And I said it, Ukraine, ceasefire. Ukraine ceasefire just agreed to a little while ago. Now we have to go to Russia, and hopefully President Putin will agree to that also, and we can get this show on the road. We can get. We can get this horrible war where 2, 3000 soldiers a week every week. 2, 3, 4000. Sometimes I get the reports, and they're not American soldiers, they're Ukrainian and they're Russian. But people are being killed outside of that. People are being killed in the cities as things explode throughout the cities, and we want to get that war over with. So I think it's a very big. I think it's a big difference between the last visit you saw at the Oval Office. That's a total ceasefire. Ukraine has agreed to it, and hopefully Russia will agree to it.

You really need to think for a second how clever what Trump did here is you had to get Ukraine to come first, right? There was no way we could get enough pressure on Putin to come first, right? Because we could have just kept arming Ukraine, we could have just created more chaos and everything else, but Russia could withstand that chaos. To loosely quote Kamala Harris, Russia big, Ukraine small. So what he did was he said to Zelensky, you can't keep doing this. Two, three, four thousand soldiers dying on both sides every week, right? You can't keep doing this. So he got Ukraine to the position that he forced them into saying, we will be for a ceasefire and Ukraine will probably not get everything it wants. And now it's on Russia. So finally, the tables have been flipped here in some sense, because now, let's just try to play this out for a second. Now, if in a week from now, if Putin's like, no, I'm not gonna sit down. I'm not gonna talk about a ceasefire, well, then it's back on the US to figure out what to do. But right now, he's put the ball in Putin's court, and Putin will have to decide, do you want peace? Do you want some negotiated settlement? Do you want to figure out how maybe it keeps NATO off your borders a little bit, that maybe you're going to get some portion of Ukraine, whatever it might be, that's what the negotiations will be about. But to me, at the moment, they have played this pretty freaking perfectly. I want to connect this to one other thing, which is that as we haven't really talked too much about Doge in this show, but as Doge has done, well, we did a little bit with the Department of Education, but as a lot of these jobs are starting to disappear, as we've gone after usaid, as we're uncovering the fraud and everything else, one of the things that's happened is Elon is just getting an insane amount of heat. I mentioned it the other day, but I think what's happened here is the machine, basically. And the media have realized they can't destroy Trump in traditional ways anymore. Right? They've thrown everything at him for years and years and years, and he's still there. Then Elon comes in, and the machine, which once loved Elon, now hates Elon, and they're going after him. And you can see these paid protesters at these Tesla stores and charging stations all over the country and everything else. So Tesla is under full attack. Like, that's the one. That's the one that's kind of easy to attack. Starlink. It's like, if you were pissed at Starlink, where would you go to be pissed at them? Tesla has locations and chargers all over the place. So we're seeing this. We know that they're funded by NGOs. We read that tweet from Elon yesterday on that. So not only did Donald Trump buy a Tesla yesterday, but here is Elon and Trump talking about the future of Tesla.

Elon's working with Trump, and now Trump is gonna help Elon sell more Teslas. The Tesla, as I said yesterday, is a beautiful, beautiful piece of machinery that everyone, for the green purposes, it's an electric car was on board just a little while ago. The idea that we would have more Teslas out there and get more combustible engine cars off the streets is good. We don't have to use the government to force people to do it, but we can help. We can literally, by the president buying one of these things, it can help show people that, oh, there are other ways to get vehicles. The other thing that Trump did, and I think this is quite good because we're gonna see more of this nonsense. This is from Reuters. Trump says he will label violence against Tesla dealers domestic terrorism. And again, you might say this is just because they're buddies. But no, the people that are going after the Tesla charging stations and that are breaking windows at Tesla showrooms, et cetera, et cetera, it is domestic terrorism. They are using violence for political reasons. That is the very definition of domestic terrorism. So they should be treated accordingly. It's not just some random violent attack. It's not just somebody just mugging somebody on the street because they want five bucks. They are doing something for political purposes. That is what terrorism is, and it's in this case, domestic terrorism, unless we find out that it's being funded by overseas or something else. The interesting part, now I gave you the devil is due version of it. The other interesting part on this, check this out. Here's Trump talking about how Elon never pressured him, despite the fact that he undid the mandate rollback. He undid the electronic vehicle mandates that Biden put in. So in other words, Biden wanted subsidies for electronic cars. Trump reversed it, and Elon is actually okay with that. Never pressured Trump into it.

Do you get that? Guys like you can say it's all a show and they planned all this and everything else. It's just that's like the most cynical version of all of this. But the Biden administration put in that electric vehicle mandate so that we would have to have X amount of electric vehicles by a certain year and that we wouldn't be able to make combustion engine cars and everything else. Elon never called Trump or has had a word with, I believe it. Like you can just see that it's true. He never called him to say, hey, I don't like this. Like that would help Tesla. If you kept that mandate in cuz Tesla's the number one electronic vehicle car manufacturer in the world, it would help him. But he did not do that. So again, it's like we have this rare brief moment of good people and innovative thinkers and people who are not afraid to offend the right people in office right now, in power right now. And we better grab the moment because when you're offending people for the right reasons, it's actually good, it's actually how you think. Jordan Peterson, ladies and gentlemen. In order to be able to think, you have to risk being offensive. And that's the point, guys, that is the point that we have some people out there who are putting it on the line and they're thought of as offensive and they're called Nazis and bigots and all of these things. And it's costing Elon. Tesla's stock is down, the market's down altogether, but Tesla's stock is down. And he doesn't want people showing up to the charging stations and creating violence and breaking windows at the showrooms and all of those things. But they're saying some, what you would perceive to be offensive things because there are things that need to be said and that is good and that is important and that's where we're at and I suspect will continue.
