Previously on the Rubin Ripple. Tell mom Donnie all cruise back and united. You horrible, awful, commie g Audi mfer. It's hot and it's cold. It's in and it's out. It's yes and it's no. It's up and it's down. It's black and it's white. It's loose and it's tight. You screw me. I watch before markets open.
B
So no evidence.
A
I know what Trump's secretly saying in the office. No, you don't. All right, what's up, guys? I'm Dave Rubin. This is the Rubin report. It's July 14, 2026 and do not adjust your screens. Yes, it is true. I am a little lower today. We have set the studio for an in person guest later this afternoon. I don't know, Connor, if they tilt their laptops up, would that help? May adjust there? It would not help. Okay.
C
So good luck.
A
I'm a little lower. I'm grounding. That's what I'm doing right now. I'm a little lower. I don't think it will affect my performance during the show. But speaking of performance, for just a sec, I just want to give a shout out to our viewers for a moment because the numbers have just been so freaking good lately. I want to show you quickly, yesterday, just yesterday, this is just the livestream. Yesterday we had 460,000 views on YouTube on the live stream and over 90,000 on Rumble. So that's almost 600. And if we add the locals views into it on the live show, it's over 600,000 views for sure. And you know, it's funny because all these people, they seem to rate all the shows based on audio podcasts. And I think of us as a TV show, right? I know we're not on TV in the traditional sense or who knows what the hell TV is at this point. We're on apps and all that other stuff. But I think of us as a video show, the way you used to watch news or you used to watch a comedy show or something. So I'm so thrilled that so many of you are tuning in and the comments have been great. And I think people were very. I could see it very clearly. People were very appreciative of how I covered the Lindsey Graham situation yesterday and everything else. So thank you for watching as always. Oh, and a quick shout out. I want to give a quick shout out because this morning I was getting physical therapy for the shoulder and it is getting better. And I walk out of the therapy place and this guy runs up to me and he says, dave, Dave, Dave, I'm Hugo from Columbia. I'm a proud American citizen. That's exactly what he said. And he had a huge smile on his face and he was just telling me how much he loves the show. And Hugo, I hope your wife is doing a little better with the therapy over there. But it was just once again, proof. Guess what? You could be from Colombia, you could be from Cuba, you could be from somewhere in Asia or Latin America. And if you came here illegally and you know what the thing's about, that's what it's all about. So it was just the way he said, didn't matter whether he said he was from Colombia or anywhere else. It was the way he said, and I'm a proud American, proud American citizen. It was just a great smile on his face. So, Hugo, I hope we cross paths again and let's just dive into it, guys. We got a ton to get to today. We will start with the splintering of the Democrat Party. And it just simply. It's not that it's not your uncle or your aunt's Democrat party anymore. It's not the Democrat Party anymore in any way whatsoever. There is an insurrection running throughout the party. The inmates are taking over. They are slowly nipping off and taking out every one of the moderates, right? And it's not like the moderates were that great. And then you have a few figurehead type people. You got your Chuck Schumers and your Timu Obamas and your Josh Shapiro's that are looking around going, oh, what's happening here? I'm one of you. I'm not one of you. What will I do? But it is just not looking good for the future of the party. So let's go over to what do I call them? The data dork. Wait, no, the dorkiest dork in Dorktown. Although data dork actually sounds better. This is Harry Entin over on CNN explaining that the Democrat Party is being split right now. It's very reminiscent of what happened with the Republicans and the Tea Party and the base is just not happy with the incumbents anymore.
D
You have to go back 16 years. Remember it was that Republican Tea party wave of 2010. I would argue the Democratic version of it is a new Tea Party, but it's on steroids. Why do I say that? Well, let's just start off with the fact approve of their own party in Congress. Republicans In July of 2010, it was 52%. A very low percentage, but at least it was north of 50%. Look at where we are now with Democrats in terms of them approving their own members of Congress. It's actually below 50%. As I said, it's a new Tea Party, but it's a Tea Party on steroids. And we're seeing the impact it's having
A
on some Democratic incumbents.
D
Absolutely the case. You know, if you look at the number of Democratic incumbents, House incumbents who have gone down to defeat, it's actually higher in the House than it was back in 2010. House incumbents who went, who lost primaries for Republicans back in 2010, it was one, two, you can count it on one hand. But in 2026, so far, it's already five. It's already five. You have to use up all the digits on your one hand.
A
Can you imagine going to lunch with this guy? I have an Oliver Palmer. It's half lemonade, half iced tea. You're not gonna put anything. He should be doing, he should be doing an auction. Anyway, the point that he was making there is an interesting one, which is that when the Republicans went through this Tea Party thing, it actually didn't take out too many incumbents. Something different is now happening on the Democrat side of this. And we can all see it. I mean, everyone can see. And by the way, it's not just that we can see it, right? We saw what just happened in New York where three of the Mamdani backed, socialist, commie, whatever you want to call them, took out Democrats that were still lefty ding dongs. It's not like they were so great. But the problem is there's no moderation as a general tool. Put aside Democrat or Republican for a second. Being moderate, being thoughtful, open to other ideas, it doesn't gin up the base. And politics is increasingly becoming about the base. Also, you have to keep in mind a huge swath of Americans simply do not vote. I think it was something like in that New York 13 race, there were 700 plus thousand eligible voters and only about 70,000, about 10% of the people even voted. And then Chevalier only got a little more than half of that. Right? So it's like 7% of the people of the district, something like that, ended up getting this woman in as the primary winner. But what's happening is if you're a politician or you're a strategist, you're going, well, turns out most people don't even vote. So why bother with anything that's moderate or anything else? Go to the extremes and get the wackadoodle base in this case the socialists and the communists and the jihadists and all of them, just get them going and they will have disproportionate amount of power. And the Democrats seem to have no defense over this because even the quote unquote moderates are not really moderate. Think Gavin Newsom, that type of person. It's not like he's a moderate. Maybe you'd argue he's not a full on communist, maybe, but they don't really stand for anything. So the social socialists were like, boy, this Democrat party doesn't really stand for much. Democrats seem to put empathy and sympathy above everything. That'll be pretty easy to stab, open them up like a whale and get in there and eat out the whole thing. That was a rather horrible visual. I'm sorry about that. Here's a little more from the data dork on what's going on.
D
You look at the Cauchy Prediction market and the chance that six House Democrats go down to defeat, lose their primary in 2026. This number has consistently over the last week or so been hovering 80, 90%. And when we talk about history books, the history books, right. If in fact six House Democrats went down to defeat in 2026, it would be by far. It would be the largest number, be the largest number in a post redistricting cycle for Democrats. And get this, over 50 years. That's why I got this picture of. I mean, there are a number of races where they might be in trouble. How about Missouri one? Right. There's a possibility. How about a Michigan 13? That's a real possibility in terms of a House Democrat going down two defeat. And then in Connecticut one as well. Another real possibility.
A
So what's interesting about this, of course, is you would say, all right, you see that the socialists are on the rise. They're organizing. There's a cultural energy behind them. It's completely at odds with everything America's founding was about. And perhaps we should have some discussions about whether these people who are outwardly stating that they are here to destroy the United States and fundamentally alter the United States, whether they should be allowed to run. You could have all sorts of conversations about a whole bunch of things here, but what could the moderates do? And this is something that I've talked about for probably 10 years. If you were a moderate Democrat of 10 years ago and you saw these crazy people coming in and nobody doing anything, what would have made sense was for you to become someone kind of like Donald Trump, who was a Moderate Democrat of 20, 30 years ago, you might Move towards the more liberal side of the Republican Party, which I don't have to do the thing, you know, it RFK and Tulsi and Rogan and me and blah, blah, blah, you get it. And Elon, etc. And you would be able to stand for something. You'd still be able to be pro America to whatever extent moderate Democrats or pro America, you'd still be able to be loosely for capitalism and things like that. And you would just be on the more leftish, liberal side of the Republican Party. But because they didn't move, what is it that any of those guys that you just saw the pictures of can stand for? They've got people screaming, socialism, socialism. And then what do they say? What do they all say? Right? This is what Cory Booker says. This is what Ro Khanna says. All the perceived moderates who are, again, they're not moderate. They all go, well, we want a wide tent. We want everyone in here. And yes, we'd like the axe murderer and the rapist and the meth dealer, and let's just see how the party goes. And it's like, it's not going to work out. And why isn't it? Because the socialists are committed to the cause. You guys were committed to attaining power and holding it, but that's it. And now they're committed to the cause, which of course, their cause is ultimate power. So watch this. This is Democrat Socialists of America. In New York City, Co Chair Grace Massour asked on Fox whether socialism is the real goal here. And is capitalism over?
E
You have led Americans to believe that there's some effort to transform capitalism into socialism, to move from individualism to collectivism. Is that the goal?
F
So many people, even those who might not yet identify as a socialist or are scared of socialism as a concept, understand that what's happening in our economy now is not working for them. They can't afford their house, they can't afford child care, they can't afford education.
E
But they're trying to get to the American dream, even if they're struggling. And socialism's platform is contrary to the American dream to individual opportunity, is it not?
F
In many ways, I think we're trying to look back at what has worked in America's past, but also look at what has been successful in other countries.
A
Oh, yeah, because we know how successful socialism has been in other countries. You want to grok that for me? How successful has socialism been other countries? But the thing is, they're telling you we are here to destroy capitalism. They're telling us constantly they don't like the founding of the country. They want to do everything to destroy our separation of powers and all of the machinery and institutions that allow us to be a free people. But what's more interesting, did you guys check how old is that girl and what kind of background does she have? Like, what is she? She looks like she's in her. I don't know, like late 20s or something, maybe early 30s, I don't know. And it's like, what has she. I don't know. We're having them check. She's 31 years old. I'm gonna guess she hasn't built a business. I'm gonna guess she actually doesn't even have a family. I'm gonna guess she just hasn't actually accomplished much of anything other than getting a sort of standard bearing, 80s lesbian haircut, which is perfectly just. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
G
Right?
A
But, like, why are we handing the keys to the kingdom to a bunch of people who've never accomplished anything? Actually, I would have way more respect if you could get me a couple socialists out there who've been like, you know, I built a couple great businesses using my socialist principles, and we were all about all of the WOKE stuff, and we only hired black people and trans people and disabled lesbians and whatever. And look what I built. And it's a successful company. And then I didn't even want to keep the profits because I'm a socialist, so I donated all the profits to Hamas. And then I would be like, oh, at least you're doing something. But these people have never done anything other than be in it for the cause. Here's a little more from that chick.
E
Do you really believe in open borders and not having deportations? That's just incredibly contrary to law enforcement and security.
F
America has a really long history of welcoming working class immigrants. My grandmother and her mother came through Ellis island and worked from Germany and worked as seamstresses. I mean, we believe that there are
E
little illegal aliens in the country. Don't they need to be removed?
F
We believe that demilitarizing the border, that violent oppression of working class immigrants who come here, is not something that most Americans want. And I think the backlash to President Trump's policies really show that.
A
Right? That wasn't an answer, lady. I would like to congratulate you on the fact that I think she said it was her grandparents who came from Germany and came through Ellis island, like all four of my great grandparents did. That's very impressive. That's what America is all about. And they were, well, they were vetted properly. They were welcomed here. It was legal. They integrated into society. And actually, what did she say? They were seamless seamstresses or something? Yeah, same with a couple of my great grandparents and worked in the textile industry. Well, that's great. But what's happening now is people are coming here who aren't interested in integrating into the United States. They're not interested in coming legally. They want to get all sorts of benefits. You know, that's the thing. When our ancestors came here, when your ancestors, lady, came here from Germany, they weren't immediately put on the government dole and given government housing and given special rules and all of these things which. Which would then keep them in servitude to a particular political party. That's what you're for. And then this thing about the violent militarization of our border. We closed our border. We closed our border. And although it's not violent, it's often a wall and there's some electronic whatever and we've got some soldiers down there and things of that nature, some security forces. You could 100% make an argument. I'm not even fully making this argument that it could be that a violent border would actually be the most just thing. Meaning you say to people, we have a. This is our territory. If you approach our border, you will be shot or we're going to have landmines there or something. I'm not even fully making that argument. But you could make that argument because we have a border. And what makes us the United States and what makes Mexico Mexico is.
E
It's the border.
A
It's the border. But okay, so that's one little LARPing socialist over there. But I am even here in Florida, we've got a couple of these people. So this is a fly Florida Broward, which is like the one blue area. This is Fort Lauderdale. I don't know what they are doing in the water in Fort Lauderdale over there, but it's Florida. 20 congressional candidate named Elijah Manley and he goes on Hasan Piker's show. This is Hasan Piker who hates America, who electrocutes his dog, who went on the paid trip to Cuba. All of this stuff. Loves Hamas, just all the general stuff. They all have to go on his podcast and they have to bow to this guy. And here he is on what he thinks should happen to Desantis here in Florida.
H
Yeah.
I
As someone who's fought against the militarization of our borders, what does the disaster of Alligator Alcatraz show us about the Intersecting failures of immigration enforcement, environmental degradation of the Everglades, and the sheer corruption of using emergency funds to run modern day concentration camps.
A
I don't even know where to start. First, I'll say, I think Ron DeSantis needs to go to jail for this.
J
Oh, yeah.
A
This is cruel. It's a violation of human rights, and we would never let another country do something without this, without crowing about it ourselves. Oh, oh, is that right? Well, actually, because Alligator, because we work, our Florida law enforcement works with ice. We actually closed Alligator Alcatraz. There weren't enough people to send there because we immediately coordinate with ICE and they get people out of the country. There was nothing inhumane about it. What is inhumane is if you enter a country illegally and start breaking other laws, et cetera, et cetera, start bringing mayhem to the actual citizens of the country. By the way, Ron DeSantis has also. I don't know what the hell he's talking about. Destroy the Everglades. Ron DeSantis has been pushing for cleaning up the Everglades and expanding things and doing all sorts of environmental protections around the Everglades. Oh, well, I'm getting information right now. Since taking office in 2019, the DeSantis administration has directed nearly 8 billion towards Everglades restoration and water quality, far exceeding prior commitments. I mean, what does that tell you right there? So he's destroying the Everglades. He's got his concentration camp. You're gonna jail Orion this and that. This. You people like that kid. And again, it's just a kid. Doesn't even matter how old he is. He's obviously early 20s, accomplished nothing, does not have a family, does not. Never built a business or any of those. But what is he? He's committed to the cause. And he's sitting with the king of all of these guys. He's the kingmaker, this lunatic. And you have to go on his show. And this happens all the time. He then rapid fires you questions and you better answer them all the exact way he wants. And of course, you'll guess what the last three questions are all about. Take a look.
I
Now we're going to do rapid fire. Rapid fire. Do you support Medicare for all?
K
Yes.
I
Universal childcare?
D
Yes.
I
Abolishing and prosecuting ice?
K
Yes.
I
Abolishing private prisons?
K
Yes.
I
Agreeing New Deal?
D
Yes.
I
National rent control?
K
Yes.
I
Restoring temporary protective status for Haitians?
G
Yes.
I
Banning congressional stock trading?
K
Yes.
I
Ending the embargo on Cuba?
G
Yes.
I
Ending aid to Israel?
J
Yes.
I
Sanctioning Israel?
G
Yes.
I
A free Palestine?
L
Yes.
A
Okay, okay. I don't Deserve this. I don't deserve this. I need August to come. I don't even have to go through all those. It's just. You just have to sit there and act the bitch to this guy or he'll cast you out and find someone else who will. So they just say, yes, none of it means anything. Medicare for all. Okay, well, who's going to provide all the child care for all? Okay, who's going to provide all that? How are you going to pay for any of that? Are you gonna indoctrinate all of those kids? Abolish ice, of course. Eliminate. I don't know. Yes, yes. Invite every Haitian to hang out here. That would be just fine. Then the last three questions on their most important gold standard thing, which is hatred of Israel, of course, that you have to be for the Green New Deal. It's just drivel. But guys, this is the. And that guy's in Florida. And we can only pray that he loses. Hopefully the lunatic Ding Dongs of Fort Lauderdale, which keep that place blue. Hopefully they're going. This is a bit much even for us. By the way, there's a lot of gays over in Fort Lauderdale and you might want to watch out as you guys slowly align yourself with the jihadis. Because queers for Palestine is very different than Palestine for queers. Let's jump over to Michigan where they've got this guy Abdul Al Sayed, and he's just another one of these commie jihadi types. Everything is Hamas and Palestine and all the usual stuff and socialism for this.
D
It's just.
A
Just standard. Standard stuff. You get it? And here's CNN calling him out because, yes, he did call for defunding the police, which he's pretending he never did.
J
I believe that we do need to defund the police insofar as defunding the police is disinvesting in the means of incarcerating someone or killing them on the streets. What if we were to invest in social services? What if we were to invest in public schools? What if we were to invest in public libraries?
A
So why did you say you never call for defunding the police when it
E
sounded like you did in the past?
J
You know what's interesting about that comment is I go as far as defining what I mean by that. Do you disagree with investing in libraries and public services and social services? You fixate on the word defund. But what I'm talking about is war material that we made too much of during the war in Iraq. And then because we had too much of it, we had to find somewhere to sell it. So we sold it to a whole bunch of local police departments, okay?
A
This guy is a fraud and a liar. And it's obvious. And by the way, to the interviewer, it didn't sound like he said defund the police. He did say defund the police. We fund all of those things. We fund schools. See, this is what they do to trick you on everything that you go, why? Well, wait a minute, why can't we fund those things? And everyone's like, yes, we should fund those things. We pour tons of money into our schools. We pour tons of money into public libraries. We pour tons of money. And what are the results? They ain't that great. Particularly in blue states, by the way. Right? So it's an obfuscation, it's a lie. But every single thing that these people say is a lie. And I mean it when I say every single thing. So he's for socialism and he's for universal health care, right? Medicare for all. Well, hot diggity damn. Turns out his wife, who's a therapist, is not. Look at this breaking. According to Washington Free Beacon, Michigan Democrat Senate candidate Abdul El Sayed, who supports universal health care that would cover every American from cradle to grave, has a wife, psychiatrist Sarah Jakuku. How do you go to a psychiatrist whose name's cuckoo, who does not accept Medicare or other insurance plans requiring patients to pay out of pocket for her services? Oh, so the thing that he wants to expand to everyone and he'll magically pay for it and somehow, because he somehow does that, it automatically will be good. His own wife who is a psychiatrist. And if you're going to cuckoo as a psychiatrist, you should be checked at the local hospital. She doesn't accept it because it ain't that great. And guess you're not going to believe this. She wants to make money. And that, by the way, is why this guy, also, I think we covered it yesterday, will not release his tax returns because he also has property in Egypt that he doesn't want people to know about. So it is just endless with these people. But then there are others like this Alyssa Slotkin, she's another Democrat that her last name, Slotkin, doesn't strike me as full jihadist. But here she is yesterday giving a speech and she, she's so excited that they stopped the SAVE act because. And then she accidentally says the quiet part. Well, take a look. The other thing that we blocked yesterday
G
was the SAVE act, right?
A
Which was literally, Literally allow this administration
G
to rig our democracy so that it
F
would Be hard for any Democrat in
G
any state to win.
I
Any.
A
Oh, yeah, if we had national id, that's how the Democrats wouldn't win. That's the part you're not supposed to say. Also, having national ID wouldn't rig an election. Actually, not having IDs, quite literally in California, where you cannot show an ID to vote. That is how you would rig an election. And then, just the way they all. We stop the sayback. We stop that. What is wrong with all of you people? What is happening? What is happening? That's what I want to know. But we're gonna pause on that for a moment and talk about dog food. Okay, let's do it. Let's talk for a moment about Sundays for dogs, guys. You know when I rescued Clyde and I rescued him, the day Covid started. I've told you the story. It's a great story. I rescued him the day Covid started. I literally pushed my way into a shelter. They had signed the order to kill him already. He was only a year old. He had a huge gash on his head. They were like, you don't have a mask. And I was like, I'm getting in there. I'm grabbing that dog. And I literally grabbed him and saved him. And he had head surgery and everything after. Anyway, you shouldn't be putting down dogs. That's a sidebar. But what I promised myself was that we were going to give this guy the best life possible. And, yes, he's out there slaughtering iguanas right now, but it's also about what goes in his bowl. And like a lot of people, I used to feed him regular kibble without thinking much about it. And then I looked at the ingredients and realized I couldn't pronounce half of them. That's why I switched to sundaes for dogs. This is what Clyde's eating right now. It's made with over 80% all natural meat, plus real superfoods like kale, ginger, and blueberries. No fillers, no chemicals, no mystery ingredients. And unlike fresh dog food, there's no refrigeration or prep. Just scoop and serve. Clyde absolutely loves it, and I've noticed a healthier coat. Actually, he just got his checkup today, and they said he's doing great. I think the doctor's in the house right now. They even have a new fish recipe made from 80% whole and minced fish that's packed with omega 3s to support healthy skin and joints and brain function. And it is human grade. So I thought. But today, since it is Human grade. You know, the way we feed Clive is I don't put it in a bowl. I just throw it out in the backyard. I find that it's better for his brain. It slows down the digestion and everything, but. Joseph, Joseph, come here.
J
Come here.
C
There you go. Here you go.
A
I'm. Put a little kibble on the floor.
D
There you go.
A
That's for you right there. Yeah, well, you know, it doesn't taste bad. You know, doesn't taste bad. Good kid. Good kid.
C
Okay. Okay.
A
I'll take you for a walk later. Make the switch to Sundays. Go right now to Sundays for dogs.com Reuben and get 50% off your first order or use Code Ruben at checkout. That's 50% off your first order at Sundays for dogs.comRuben. code Ruben at checkout Phoenix. For the record, I did not think he was gonna actually eat it, but that was impressive. Okay, get him some water, would ya? But it's good stuff. Okay, let's talk about Mom. Dummy. And just again, if they didn't have double standards, they would have no standards. And this is a guy who ran on free this, free that, and free everything else. But meanwhile, what's he really trying to do? Give himself a raise? Listen to this from 77 WABC talk radio. Mamdami campaigned on making buses free across New York City. Now, as that promise is on hold, a commission he appointed is recommending an 18.2% pay raise for elected city officials. Critics say it's a striking contrast between campaign promises and governing priorities. I'm so shocked. Color me shocked. Look at this from Libs of TikTok. It has a little more info on the numbers. So the mayor who gets about 200, what is that, 256,000. He'll jump over 300,000. The public advocate will jump over 200,000. Another about 40,000 for the state comptroller. Borough presidents are going to go from 179 to 211. Think how profoundly absurd this is with all of yes, there's a million problems in New York City. He doesn't view them as problems. He's trying to do the control destruction of New York City. But putting that aside that anyone who voted for this guy thinks that him now getting a raise, literally giving himself a raise is right. Or just. I get it. I get it, you guys. There's no low, too low. There's no bottom to the pit. Like, I already get it, you know, he makes more. Yeah, he makes more than Marco Rubio. JD Pete Hegseth, Scott, besinghe what do they make? They all make probably around 200, right? Yeah, we're gonna get the numbers on that. They all make around 200. And he's now gonna make over 300. Yeah, look at this. We have the exact numbers. So right Now, Zorhan makes 258,000. Secretary of State Marco Rubio makes 250. Hegseth makes 250. Besant makes 250. JD Vance makes 235. The VP makes $15,000 less than the Secretary of State. That's interesting, but you get it. You get it. Now his new salary will be $305,800. It is completely absurd in and of itself, but it's also absurd to what's happening in New York City because as he's caused all of the capital to leave, as he has frozen re. Hot diggity dam. This from Mark Levine, New York City controller. Rents in New York City have just hit an all time high. I'm shocked. The median market rate in June in Manhattan was $5,295 a month, which was up 8.2% year over year. In Brooklyn it was $4,550, which is up 8.1%. New York City's housing affordability crisis is at DEFCON 1. We need to push harder on every front to address our housing shortage. Update zoning. Invest more in city number of affordable units. No, that's not what you should do. Lower the time and cost the city more bureaucracy imposed on construction. Get thousands of vacant regulated units back on the market. We need this bold action. This is a crisis. You guys did this. And well, here's a little something for everyone that voted for Zorhan. Yeah, and she. That's Ms. Rachel there. And she's even worse than him. She's a full on like Hamas jihadi lunatic. The kids watched that for like two weeks. And even before she became a. I was like, something's not right. Her husband's gay as a fruitcake and there's this weird trans character in the thing. Anyway, don't watch Ms. Rachel. Octonauts isn't bad. Have you seen that on Netflix for the kids? Pretty good. They go on environmental adventures. It's all right without like woke environmental stuff. Anyhoo, fraud is at an all time high, of course, across the country. And there is one person, a kid with a sweatshirt, who is doing something about it. Yeah, I'm talking about Nick Shirley. He went to New York City to see what was going on and it turns out that a little adult daycare that said they had 7,000 patients, was in a tiny little building, and they had billed over 12 million to you.
H
So I started this investigation on these adult daycares in Flushing, Queens. And I go to this first location, and they're like, well, we're losing all our clients because this daycare is offering kickbacks. I said, well, is the fraud reel? And they say, yes, the fraud is very much real. And so then I kept digging and I went to this next location. And at one location, they had 7,000 patients. More than 7,000 patients. And they're billing up to $12 million. And it's only one story building.
J
Wow.
H
On the second floor of a building.
G
Wow, Nick. I mean, the video is stunning.
A
And then you have, you know, a
G
great co pilot there.
A
Okay. So I know we don't have to analyze it too much. I know none of it's shocking. This is what they are doing. They are doing this with hospices. They are doing it with the child daycare, they're doing it with adult care. They're doing it with all sorts of things. And then he goes in, he tries to talk to them. They can't talk. Where are your patients? Can I get a brochure? I'd like to send my mother here. They have no information on anything. And again, to get to that Abdul said clip from earlier, it's like, well, I didn't mean defund the police. I meant fund those other things. But to any extent that that could be a legitimate argument, what you would want to make sure is that the funding is clean and going to what it's supposed to be and is not full of fraud or anything else. But every time you say something about fraud, they all freak out because they're all in on it. Guys, let's talk about lean for just a second. And then we will get. We're gonna shift from politics for a second. We're gonna get over to the Odyssey, which is coming out this weekend. We're going to see it. We're going to see it. I like Christopher Nolan. I get all the woke stuff that seems like it's on the way, but I want to judge it for myself. But we'll have some of the a, let's say, Misha Goss around the movie before it debuts. Guys, everybody's talking about weight loss injections because the results can be so dramatic. They work by lowering blood sugar and reducing appetite. But if you're looking to lose weight and aren't interested in weekly injections or some of the side effects that come with them, there's another option. Doctors created a weight loss supplement called Lean. Its studied ingredients have been shown to help lower blood sugar, support your body's ability to burn fat for energy and curb appetite and cravings. So you're not going hungry. Lean isn't for someone just trying to lose a couple pounds. Brickhouse Nutrition designed it for people with 10 or more pounds to lose who are looking for extra support alongside a healthy diet and exercise plan. Right now, you can get 20% off plus free rush shipping. Just visit takelean.com and use promo code Reuben. That's takelean.com, promo code Reuben. Okay, so I've mentioned many times before. Well, first up, let me say beyond that I like Christopher Nolan, which I've mentioned before. I'm going to try not to be totally outraged about something I have. And that's what so many of us do in culture, right? Something comes out, something's cast the wrong way or they did something you didn't want, everyone starts freaking out. I'm actually not going to do that in this segment. And when we covered it earlier in the week and on Actual Friends, I'm trying not to do that. But I think there's something worth talking about here just relative to the culture. And then I will go see the movie. We're going to see it over the weekend and I'll tell you what, I thought about it on Monday night, on Monday morning and we'll go from there. But as you know, the main thing that people are stuck on right now, now from Homer's the Odyssey, which is the new Christopher Nolan movie, and again Christopher Nolan, all the Batman movies, spectacular, that Batman trilogy, Interstellar, I think you can argue it's the best sci fi movie of all time. Inception was wonderful. Oppenheimer, which came out a couple years ago, I did not love. But most people thought it was a pretty great movie. Dunkirk he did, was great. He's a true filmmaker. Okay. And I'd love to check with the guy as well, but there's a lot of casting choices in this and some stuff going around the press around this, the pre press to the movie that people are concerned about. So the main thing seems to be that Elliot Page, who once was known as Ellen Page, who was in the X Men movies and was in Inception itself. Can we get a picture of Ellen Page in Inception? We'll figure out what year that was. She was a she who now believes she is a he and is Eliot and is playing a Greek warrior despite her diminutive stature because she is a female so first, here is Christopher Nolan and Elliot Page on the casting situation.
F
And I loved seeing Elliot Page, one
A
of the first spaces you see. What was it like reuniting with him years after doing Inception together?
L
It was really fun. I mean, Elliot, just terrific. And I just thought this was such a. Such a great part for him. And I mean, we had such a great time years ago on Inception. It's nice to reunite with people.
C
Okay.
A
Again, like, I'm not gonna go crazy on him. It is nice to reunite with people. They had a great time on Inception. I think we have a picture of Elliot Page in Inception. She was. She was a beautiful girl. Phoenix had a crush on her. I know he doesn't like me admitting saying it all the time. You had a crush on a chicken who's now a dude. It is what it is. No judgment, you know, it's cool you didn't know. I feel like you think you're going to be in trouble because of this anyway, but it is a little bizarre. That's just. So there's Ellen Page again. She was a beautiful girl. Obviously, she had internal tumult. She was dealing with some stuff. I can actually be completely sympathetic to all of that stuff. But what the issue seems to be is that then if you go out of your way to. To. She then transitions, let's say. And then if you as a director go out here, I like that person, and I'm doing a film, the Odyssey, about Greek warriors, and I'm going to cast that person as a Greek warrior. Well, you have to just think, does this person strike you as a Greek warrior?
I
No.
A
We can go to the video,
D
Right?
A
So now the problem is that, you know, one of the things that I find with movies all the time is that because celebrities have become so outspoken on everything and you see them everywhere, that I love seeing movies now or TV shows. Not that I have time to watch anything anymore, but when I do, I like seeing things that I don't recognize anybody because I'm like, they can actually seem like actors as opposed to. You're like, oh, that's Tom Cruise. And look at him, he's doing that Tom Cruise thing again. Or there's Tom Hanks and he's. It's Tom Hanks on an island, and it's Tom Hanks on a box, and it's not. You know. But here, now, because there's been some pushback, like, should that diminutive person put aside trans, would you have a Greek warrior? That would just be a small, little, somewhat frailish person. As a Greek warrior. There's some pushback against it. Here is Elliot Page doing press for
M
the new movie, I hope, for anyone who's sort of, you know, struggling in this time and the headlines and
G
just
M
to know, like, that you're, you know, not alone and loved and celebrated by so many and try and block out the noise from, you know, absolute vile losers who must just be so profoundly uncomfortable with themselves they can't handle that someone could get to a place that I think, you know, that, you know, trans people do get to.
A
Okay, so there's a couple things here. You actually had me on the first part of that, right, on how people should be. But then the next part was that all the people who are talking about this in a way you don't like are, what was it? Vile losers or something like that, or they're usually hate bigots and they're transphobes and everything else. Now, as I've said many times, most of my stuff around the trans thing, which even if you just think of the effect, you know, it's like.001% of people that have this condition or perceived condition, that it has loomed so large over America and that we've let biological boys be girls in sports and all that stuff like that in and of itself is crazy. The amount of air that this thing has sucked for such a small amount of people. Now, I'm for everyone having equal rights, and I will, and you can judge me accordingly. But if I met, if I met, I've known two or three trans people over the years, and people that are living as the opposite, trans people, let's just call them. And if you treat me with respect, I'll treat you with respect. But it doesn't change my belief that biology is real. That's the thing. And the other thing, of course, is that most of the pushback on this is that the average American actually does not care what you as an adult do in your private life. Like, you as an adult, you're 21 and you want to put on a wig and you want to do whatever you want with your body, and you want to call yourself a different name, and you want to do any of that. Most people don't care. When people started caring about this was when it was leaked into schools, when suddenly, as Abigail Schreier has written about many, many times and who wrote a wonderful book about it, then it becomes a social contagion. And then suddenly the numbers of quote unquote, trans kids in explodes by 600%, usually girls who are Transitioning to boys, all of the woke stuff. The idea that California wanted to quite literally take kids away from their parents if they didn't want to call them by their preferred pronouns and everything else. But now I want to connect it to the broader point, which is that all of these sort of bad and confused ideas that the left is about at every level right now, they are all combined in a sort of endless hysteria. They're coming for the trans people. The climate is going to kill you. Fascism is here. They're all just this evil toxic stew that has been like just gestating and it's quite terrible. So now let's go back seven years. This is then Ellen Page on Stephen Colbert talking about climate change.
D
Have any idea how we can get the public and the media to pay more attention to what's happening in global warming? Because it's such a.
A
There's such a long
D
time span where these effects will happen in really dramatic ways.
A
Is it that long?
G
I think they're happening. These effects. This is something that's happening and it's happening the most marginalized people and we need to be talking about it. It's really serious. We've been told as we know it that by 2030, the world as we know it. That's it. That's it. We have a media that's saying it's a debate whether or not what just happened to Jussie Smollett is a hate crime. It's absurd. Connect the dots. This is what happens. If you are in a position of power and you hate people and you want to cause suffering to them, you go through the trouble, you spend your career trying to cause suffering, what do you think is going to happen? Kids are going to be abused and they're going to kill themselves and people are going to be beaten on the street. I have traveled the world and I have met the most marginalized people you could meet. I am lucky to have this time and the privilege to say this. This needs to stop.
A
I'm sorry, was that a comedy show? Is that a late night comedy program? And a multi award winning comedy program. Thank God that's not on air anymore. You see how they combine so many things. She at that time also brought up Jessie Smollett, which turned out to be a complete hoax. He hired the two people to supposedly lynch him and say, this is MAGA country. Complete hoax. But she fell for that. She fell for the climate hoax. Does anyone with their head on straight think the world is going to end in four years? And if you did, perhaps As I always say, you wouldn't try to turn Elon Musk into the greatest evil man of all time because he's got, he's working on the ships to get us off the planet. So you don't buy into any of that. But what you see there really is someone that was in some version of crisis. And again, actually what that is, when you look at all these young socialists, the girl we showed you on Fox before this ding dong out of Florida, they all believe all of this stuff. And I suppose their ability to believe things that aren't true are because they've never practiced their ideas in reality. Which is why no businesses are built on socialism and wokeism and everything else. Once it infects a successful business, it can destroy things, but it cannot build. The other part of this is that Helen of Troy, who obviously it's a fictitious story, but she in essence was a Greek goddess, a beautiful Greek goddess. She likely was white despite what Sunny Hostin said because she taught Greek mythology when she was in eighth grade. So she was cast as Lupita Nyong' o, who happens to be black. And again, I'm not going to go crazy over that until I see the movie. But it's the pre press around all this that is just so ridiculous. Here is Lupita. We all know a version of the Helen story. I read different versions. This film asks us to consider more than just her face, but she was really known for her face because she was a Greek goddess. And I don't think you read several versions of the Odyssey like you just didn't. And of course I'm just going to do one more on this which is that the part that people seem to be getting upset by. And again, punt some of this till you see it yourself and make the judgment call for yourself. But it's an interesting cultural moment right here. Right. Like a beloved director taking a timeless story and combining it with all of these things of modernity. With a cast that's going out there and sort of trying to alter the reality of the story. So here he is with Tom Holland who is Spider man and he's in the movie also. And they get into it. They're asked about how they've modernized some of the language from the original story. Take a look. The language as well is very, is very modern. It's a very contemporary, easy to access way of speaking. I mean you say dad, dad rather than father.
M
Sure.
E
I mean, what's the thinking behind that?
D
Because I wouldn't have even said father
A
back in the Day would I would
L
have been in Greek.
A
So it's no less correct.
L
People bring, you know, when you look at. At this world, we look at the ancient world, people tend to view it in weird ways. There's a lot of cultural prejudice. There's a lot of. Yeah, they're sort of elevating it because it's old, you know, whatever it is, when you go to the poem, what you find is something that's really earthy and grounded and accessible. And so for me, in building the world of the film, what I talk to all the actors about is like, I just want to. I want to center it on that and make it feel very fresh for modern audiences and do away with some of those assumptions that aren't based on anything logical. They're just, as I say, cultural prejudices or things over time.
A
It's not, though, that they were not based on anything logical or they were prejudices of the time. They were things that were happening at the time that the book was written. And again, the book is fiction. So I'm not going crazy about Christopher Nolan. I like him. I think that hopefully he did a great job here and it's just all part of it. We shall see. However, Elon Musk is a little less bullish that this thing's going to work out. He wrote Chris Nolan desecrated the Odyssey so that he would be eligible for an Academy and award. And you guys know that the Academy Award changed their rules a few years ago, that if you want to get an award, you have to have this many lesbians and this many midgets and clowns and they did all that. You have to have the black this and a black, like just ridiculous, nonsensical, woke DEI stuff. And it is possible. I mean, some directors do this. Like when you watch. Who's the other one from Titanic? Who's the director of Titanic? You know, from Alien and Titanic.
C
No, no.
A
What's his name? Come on, guys, you don't have to Google this. James Cameron. Thank you. James Cameron. Like, you can see he kind of. Especially in the. I watched the third Avatar the other day, like, just falling asleep on the couch. It's like he wants an Oscar so badly. Like, these guys, they just, just. They want the awards and whatever. Getting accolades and all that is just fine. But perhaps instead of doing the woke thing, you might want to just make the best movie possible. Anyway, from Polymarket, the Odyssey Rotten Tomatoes score. So we'll see how this shakes out. 34% said it'll have a 95 plus 60% say 99. And what is it? 70 at 99 as well.
C
So.
A
So we shall see. We shall see. I'll leave it there. I think it's just an interesting cultural moment. And maybe I'll come back on Monday and be like, you know, I watched it and I thought the casting choices were actually okay. The story was wonderful and you can look past all that stuff and that in and of itself would be interesting as we watch a certain set of people go crazy about it. That is my point. But now let's bring woke back into today. We're going to go to Canada in just a second. But for Shopify, starting something new can be intimidating. Well, the Toronto Police Department released a video about escorting a trans woman because she felt unsafe. I probably shouldn't editorialize it any further. Connor, go ahead. Contacted by the Crown at the Ontario Court of Justice to assist with the case that they had. So they asked me to reach out to the victim and make sure she's safe and take her home.
E
He drove me home in the fabulous Pride suv. And as he was driving me home, we reached a stoplight. And then an individual in a pickup truck came up to us.
A
A transgender cop car.
E
Look at that.
A
You guys cops or you just identify as cops? That's none of your business. And I'm hands free, so there's nothing you can do.
I
I'm just asking you a question, Sergeant.
A
Are you cops or you identify as cops? I. I have no idea. That's reality doesn't exist anymore.
H
Right.
E
Part of me was shocked, but part of me was not shocked. I am a trans woman. I've been transitioning for eight years. I get harassed and vilified every day.
A
You guys want to just do this? One on your own. Can I just send that to every. You know what? Yeah, I think, I think that's what we're gonna do. I'm just gonna send that to you. Whatever. I'm thinking we've done this once or twice before about that whole fiasco, so I'm just gonna send it through the Internet now. Yeah, I don't have to do much more than that. I do love the fact that the guy was like, yeah, I'm driverless or I'm self driving so my hands don't have to be on the wheel like that ended up. But the rest of it, like what? And by the way guys, here's the more even if you thought that was ridiculous. Oh, we'll one up you. Because this is what the left does over in Ontario, Canada. Well, here's a police officer in high heels because. Well, what.
D
Okay, this is not easy. I've never done this before. I don't wear shoes like this. But on Saturday, June 13, the Bethesda House in Bowenville is hosting the Walk a Mile event. It's a fundraiser charity event supporting women and children affected by gender based violence. And we would love for you to join us at that event. Walk a mile, bring a pair of shoes.
A
That's a serious country. These are serious people. That's a place you'd want to live. That'll really protect you from bad guys. Funny, that's happening in Ontario, Canada. And that's what I would really want my police to be doing. Of course, Ontario, Canada also had a little of this not too long ago. Yeah, those are just jihadis on the street who will. Yes, they mostly want to destroy Israel and kill all the Jews from the river to the sea. But if you think they're going to leave Canada alone at the end of the it, oh, you are mistaken. But at least you will have a police officer in heels to defend you. As the jihadis are coming and they're beheading everyone you know and they've got the machetes and they're. Oh God, I twisted an ankle. These Manolo Blahniks aren't as good as Jimmy Choo's. That was funny, guys. Nothing, Nothing. Yeah, I don't even know what that is exactly. Manolo Blahniks and Jimmy Choos. It just sounds right. Okay, this guy, this slimy snake of a grotesque human being who I've had the pleasure of interviewing twice, Ro Khanna. Now, you guys know I've interviewed Ro a couple of times and I've said it on air. We disagreed About a bunch of stuff. He was for dei, so he wanted his own brown Indian children to be discriminated against, although he wouldn't fully admit it every time I kept pointing out, so you want your children to be discriminated against. I don't think he believes in anything. And he has been so unmasked over these last couple weeks. So he went all in on the Graham Platner thing and he was defending the Nazi and he was defending the womanizing and the sexual stuff. He just went all in on it. All in on it. And because he went all in on it and he's finding that nobody really likes him anymore because he used to paint himself as a moderate and now he's going on that all lefty thing. So all the Silicon Valley guys, which is his district, they used to like him. They're all bailing on him. No one likes him. And if you want to be liked by the crazy progressive wing, what do
G
you have to do?
A
Well, you just have to hate Israel. If you hate Israel, they'll forget about a lot of stuff. So they'll forget that you're worth $240 million ROE, at least for now. And they will forget that you were defending the Nazi. They'll do all that stuff. So he's just going all in with the Israel hatred. And he just did a theater stunt. He went to Judea and Samaria, which is where Jesus was from. Jesus was Jewish, by the way. Judea and Samaria, where the story of Hanukkah took place. Jews defending their native land. And he pulled a full on stunt and has been exposed. So this from the National Review. Over the weekend, California Representative Ro Khanna, who had been one of the biggest backers of disgraced former Senate candidate Graham Platner, raised alarms on social media about being detained by violent settlers in the west bank and the ID idf. On Wednesday, the way Khana told it, he was touring the west bank when a group of armed men stopped the vehicle, kicked the tires and began harassing him and other occupants. The IDF arrived on the scene, he said, and sided with the settlers even after he told them they were Americans and he was a member of Congress. In reality, when the IDF and police received reports of armed civilians blocking the vehicle, soldiers arrived to disperse the civilians and then let Khanna and the others continue on their way. This whole situation could have been avoided had Khanna coordinated his visit with the Israeli government, which he chose not to do. It is obvious that Khanna, who had a New York Times photographer with him, was eager to stage a confrontation. The Times reported on the story and Khanna went to work on social media and in interviews, trying to portray himself as a modern day Rosa Parks. This is the first time I have been acutely aware of being brown. He claimed of his treatment he faced by Israelis. First off, let me just address the brown thing for a second. I have been to Israel at least a dozen times. There are brown people everywhere. There are black Jews. There are people from Tunisia and Morocco and all over Africa that are dark and black. There are Sephardic Jews that are darker than Ro Khanna. The idea that this had anything to do with his skin color is ridiculous. There are reasons that parts of. We've been to the West Bank. I took to Judea and Samaria. We shouldn't even call it the West Bank. It was always historically known as Judea, Judea and Samaria. You're not going to believe where the Jews lived. And you have to be on certain roads because quite literally we had to go in an armored vehicle because if you veer off, if we had veered off into an Arab village, they likely would have killed us. That is the absolute truth. So if you just show up in a car and you don't coordinate it with Israeli authorities, they call them settlers. They're people that happen to live in Judea and Samaria. They're a little concerned with when a car just randomly shows up because I don't know. Did you know about something called October 7th? The amount of terrorist attacks that these people have to deal with for months and months and years now on end. Actually decades. So they tried to figure out who was there. But Roe, he brought a New York Times photographer with him. He has been doing a crazy media blitz. He is just the slimiest, dishonest liar. And now you can see he's even changing his language so he can connect it to what I actually believe is now his hatred of America. Watch this.
B
You have a police force and the IDF that is aligned by extremist settlers. In the same way in Jim Crow, during the segregationist south, police were often aligned with the segregationists. This is not ideological. These are the facts. And any American who goes there will see this with their own eyes.
A
He is just such a worthless piece of shit. I'm sorry. Like, first off, Roe, if you were to go to Israel proper, what you would see are 2 million Arabs, largely Muslims, some of them Christians, some of them are on the Supreme Court. They have all sorts of jobs and everything else. Roe, you want to see apartheid and you want to see Prejudice and Jim Crollas. There are Jim Crow laws against the Palestinians in Lebanon and Jordan and Egypt. There are 50 Muslim countries where Jews can't live and Christians barely can live. But you don't care about any. I get it. You want to run for president. And what's the best way to gin up the base? You gotta lie about Israel. Fine, again. That they are extremist settlers. They're people who happen to live in Judea and Samaria. There are Arabs that live there and there are Jews that live there. Like, it's just, it's just absurd and ridiculous. And you know, you might, if your country had been under relentless attack for decades and to the backdrop of the big, biggest slaughtering of Jews since the Holocaust, you might be a little worried when an unmarked car comes. So that's why people coordinate. All he had to do, all he had to do, but he purposely didn't do it, was coordinate with the Israeli government. That's it. So the settlers weren't violent towards him or anything else. Like he's just lying repeatedly here. He does actually admit that he went there without coordinating properly.
B
Even more offensive than Netanyahu's responses and knowing that I was detained in American Congressman was the Israeli ambassador's responses on Face the Nation. He says, how dare Ro Khanna go on a trip to the West Bank, Palestinian led. He informed us he was going, but he didn't take up our offer to meet and coordinate with the Israeli government. As if that justifies being detained. I did that on purpose. I've been to Israel multiple times. I wanted to see the west bank from the lens of the Palestinians.
L
Yes.
A
And the Israelis would have taken you wherever you want, wanted to go. It would have been tough for some of them to go, even the security people, because they might be killed. And by the way, you could just as easily be killed there.
B
Roe.
A
But you informed them, but then refused their security. So of course this was going to happen. You got exactly what you want, you slimy scumbag. And then what do you have to do when you're a progressive and you hate Israel? Well, you gotta go talk to Hasan Piker.
I
You're a brown man in America. It's not like America has been all too kind to, to brown folk. You're from Pennsylvania and you're saying that this was a different kind that you had. You had, I believe you said something along the lines of you had never recognized your skin color. As, as, as much as you did when you were traveling through the West Bank.
B
I've never Felt my race as much as I did in the three days I was in the West Bank. Never felt, you know, when I grew up in Pennsylvania in Bucks county, it was a middle class upbringing.
A
He's such a freaking liar. It's incredible. You can go anywhere in Israel and there are no laws from stopping you because you're brown or Indian or black or anything else. You went to a place that is very dangerous, Right? Very, very dangerous. And by the way, the way he frames it that. The way Hasan frames it, that being Indian, you know, the implication, he's brown, so he's Indian. That somehow that is bad in America. What is it? Indians have the highest. Oh, we have a chart here. Oh. Median household income in the United States by ethnic group. Indians, Indians, number one. Indians, number one. Screw you, Filipinos, Taiwanese, and Sri Lankans. It's Indians number one. That's how much they're discriminated against. That's what Hasan is saying. America hasn't been good to you people. But you know what? I've really just had it with this guy. So I put this up yesterday, and it went pretty viral. Did you know that Ro Khanna's two kids in elementary school own three private golf clubs in Ohio? Membership fees are up to $45,000. I highly recommend everyone ignore security at the clubs and just wander on to hit a few balls and see what happens. Maybe I'll swing by and off with some reporters. I do have a rather busy August when I'm off the grid, but I honestly might do it. I might just show up one day and just wander on. His two kids who are elementary school age own three golf courses. That's pretty good to get into these golf courses. $45,000 a year. You're such a great socialist, dude. And you're hiding. You're using. The reason your kids own it is it's a tax for tax purposes.
H
Right?
A
So you're fraud at every possible level. But to walk in to that golf course, I'm sure they have security and there is a membership fee, but I may just do it. And I would recommend anyone do it like Ro. Obviously, it's fine. Just show up at the golf course and hit a few balls and see what happens. Of course, this could also end up as a sequel to Caddyshack. So I created these on AI. He could be. You know, Ted Knight was so freaking lovable from too close to comfort. And he was so great in that movie. Him and Roddy were so perfect. And the problem is that Roe is just not likable And Ted Knight was even as the bad guy. Judge Snails. Ted Knight was just so absolutely spectacular. Roe then. But he went on this crazy media blitz. He was on absolutely every show. And here he is on Fox with Gillian Turner calling out his complete and utter bs.
F
Did you really not know that going
A
into a restricted military area guarded by local security forces was going to result in your entourage getting stopped?
B
It was not a area that was restricted by military. American Congress people had been there before. We went with with prior coordination. If I could just finish, please, because this should be an outrage to any American citizen. What happened.
A
Yeah, well done right there.
E
Yeah.
A
People have been there before because they coordinate it. They can't have random cars just driving around to the backdrop of the insane amount of terrorism that these people have to put up with. If they didn't have not only soldiers there, but they have armed citizens. They have armed citizens that make sure you can't just enter their community and slaughter everybody. They're a little sensitive to that. But Roe, you are a scumbag piece of shit. And maybe I'll text you that later. Roe let's finish up with Iran. There's a couple updates happening. The on again, off again, up, down, cold, hot, cold, wet, dry, loose, tight, war. Here we go again. This from Truth on Trump. From Trump on Truth. The Hormuz Strait is open and will remain open with or without Iran. We are reinstating the Iranian blockade, so named because it is only stopping Iran's ships or customers from entering or leaving. All other countries will have fair and open use of the Strait. The USA will be from this point forward, known as the Guardian of the Strait of the Guardian of the Hormuz moves straight, but as such, and as a matter of fairness, will be reimbursed at the rate of 20% on all cargo shipped for any and all costs necessary to do the job of providing security, safety and security to this volatile section of the world. The process and formation will begin immediately. Thank you for your attention to this matter. So that all right, here we go again, Right. Iran does not seem to be honoring the Memorandum of Understanding. JD A lot of people felt it was a bit naive is what it is. And now some bombs are falling again and Trump saying we're taking the straight, which we can absolutely do. We can also take Carg island, where most of the oil is, and we can charge, and that seems to be where we are at. And Trump again seems to behe seems to be coming around and maybe he knew it all along and he was just giving Them some rope to hang themselves, coming around to them. The fact that you cannot trust these guys to honor a deal.
C
But we had a deal. What? Nobody knows we had a deal. It was a done deal and then they broke it. They always break it. We've had 10 deals with these people. And so we're just going to hit them very hard. And we're going to. We're going to keep the Strait and we'll probably run it. We'll become the guardian of the strait. Maybe we'll call it the guardian angel of the Strait. And we should be reimbursed for that. When we do that, we're going to be reimbursed because the other nations are very wealthy there, aren't our side. And we can't be expected to do that for nothing, unlike we had for many years.
A
Yeah, again, this is where you just get honest Trump speaking freely. He obviously doesn't have notes in front of him. He's admitting we had all these deals. He Sundays we had 10 deals. We had all these deals. They keep breaking them. So we're just going to go back and we'll start charging and we will see what happens. And we're going to hit them and maybe eventually you can bludgeon them into submission. This from the United States Central Command. Central Command began launching the third consecutive night of strikes against Iran at the Commander in Chief's direction. These strikes will continue, imposing a heavy cost on Iranian forces and degrade their ability to attack innocent civilians and commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. And I'm told this just kicked in. This must have just happened in the last five or 10 minutes. So I'm reading it just as I'm seeing it with you guys from Fox News. President Trump says he will replace the 20% reimbursement fee in the Strait of Hormuz with trade and investment data deals that various Gulf states will be making into the US after highly productive conversations with Middle east leadership. The Strait of Hormuz is open to all ship traffic except for Iran, and that is because of their lying, violent, malicious leadership, which is taking them down the path of total destruction. We will therefore have a full blockade, but only on ships coming to and from Iranian ports or carrying anything having to do with Iranian cargo. So, okay, we will see. Again, this is just another moment of we will see where this all goes. Everyone would like this. Most sensible people, I would say, would like this war to wrap up. I don't think Trump wants to keep bombing them. I actually think it's not Even Trump's preference necessarily to tax or tariff or whatever you want to call it, to straight up Hormuz or have to get their oil on Carg Island. I think he would like this thing to be wrapped up. But he's realizing, seemingly, that no matter what deal they sign, they're going to keep doing things. And if you're the Iranians, you might have every interest in keeping us at war. You might keep signing things and delaying things so that we're at war, so that by the time the midterms run around, people are pissed at Trump. So there's multi. People talk about 3D chess. There's multiple things happening here at once. But let's try to end with this. We got two more clips for you. I want to one more time go back to this. Awful, awful. Just awful. No, it's not Ro khanna awful. Hasan Piker, because obviously Lindsey Graham passed away a few days ago. And, well, here's what Hasan Piker had to say about Lindsey Graham.
I
I'll start off by saying Lindsey Graham, in a long list of demonic entities, was exceptionally bloodthirsty. A bloodthirsty, odious monster who loved war. There was never a war that Lindsey Graham did not fall in love with Mr. Ladybug himself. Lindsey Graham never met a baby in the third world. He did not want to evaporate with American munitions.
A
It's profoundly disgusting. But it's, like, also deeply obvious the way these people behave. And I thought perhaps we would end the show on something a little bit different, which is this is a video of Lindsey Graham 11 years ago. So as you, you watch this guy basically call Lindsey Graham the devil and everything else, you know, dancing on his grave, lying about his intentions. You don't have to agree with every one of Lindsey Graham's decisions. You really don't. But the idea that, yes, what he wanted to do was kill babies and everything else is completely absurd. And let's contrast that with Lindsey Graham in 2015 talking about Joe Biden, who was his political opponent, and how thathow the relationship and feelings about Joe Biden, how he could extrapolate that to something he tried to include in his life, which I think is becoming more and more obvious over the last few days as you listen to what people say about him.
K
If you can't admire Joe Biden as a person, then it's probably, you got a problem, you need to do some self evaluation because what's not to like? Here's what I can tell you, that life can change just like that. Don't take it for granted. Don't take relationships for granted. I called him after Beau died, and he basically said, well, Beau was my soul. We've talked for a long time. He came to my ceremony and said some of the most incredibly heartfelt things that anybody could ever say to me. And he. He's the nicest person I think I've ever met in politics.
A
Is that right?
K
He is as good a man as God ever created. And we don't agree on much, but I think he's been dealt a really gut blow. I think he focuses on what he's got to do, not what he lost. His heart's been ripped out, but he's gonna make sure that the other members of his family's well taken of care.
I
Care of.
K
And he started talking about his grandkids, more worried about them than anything.
A
That's a good man. That, again, you might have political disagreements with and who cares? But there you've got this Hassan Piker lunatic dancing on his grave, talking about how evil he is. You know, he's the devil, blah, blah, blah. And there you have Lindsey Graham talking about someone who at the time was his political opponent, who they critiqued and criticized each other many, many times. And over the 10 years since that video, way more. But there he is talking about the human part of Joe Biden, a man who lost his wife and child in a car accident and who had been through an awful lot, and that he could look past. And that moment, I mean, you could almost get chills up your spine where he says, what does he say? Life could change in an instant. This is a guy who was on the phone with Donald Trump and then dead an hour later, just on Saturday night. That is something else. So maybe we need a little more evidence that spirit instead of the other spirit, Right? Perhaps. And I talk to myself as much as I talk to you guys when I say it. We're going to cold close with this with another Lindsay thing, which is just fantastic and really maybe another bit of a spirit that we could use right now. Reminder Post, game show, 30 seconds. RubenReport, locals.com, see you tomorrow.
K
If you don't like me working with President Trump to make the world a better place, I don't give a.
A
And there you.
M
Go.
Episode: Watch Pollster's Face as He Realizes How Much Worse It Just Got for Democrats
Host: Dave Rubin
Date: July 14, 2026
Dave Rubin delivers a rapid, impassioned assessment of the current political climate, focusing on the growing rifts in the Democratic Party, the ascendency of extreme leftist and socialist factions, and the implications these have for American politics and culture. The episode draws on polling data, media interviews, and recent political developments, while offering Rubin’s signature commentary and critique. Additional segments tackle cultural controversies (such as the casting choices in Christopher Nolan’s "The Odyssey"), the state of urban policy, and the ongoing impacts of progressivism in North America.
(03:05–13:29)
Splintering of the Party:
Rubin argues the Democratic Party is experiencing a Tea Party-like insurgency but "on steroids," with moderates being unseated by more radical leftists. Pollster Harry Enten's CNN analysis provides data context.
"It's not the Democrat Party anymore in any way whatsoever. There's an insurrection running throughout the party." (03:13 – Dave Rubin)
Primary Defeats:
Compared to the Tea Party movement (2010), more Democratic incumbents are losing primaries to far-left challengers. Five House incumbents have already been ousted in 2026.
“In 2026, so far, it’s already five. You have to use up all the digits on your one hand.” (04:42 – Harry Enten)
Voter Turnout & Extremism:
Low turnout in urban races drives policy further left, as politicians target highly motivated fringe voters. Rubin considers this dangerous for American norms.
Rise of Socialist Factions:
Rubin plays clips of progressive activists openly advocating for socialism and open borders. He critiques their lack of real-world experience.
“Why are we handing the keys to the kingdom to a bunch of people who've never accomplished anything?” (12:18 – Dave Rubin)
(15:54–19:41)
Policy Checklists:
On Hasan Piker’s show, Florida candidate Elijah Manley is subjected to a rapid-fire progressive “purity test” — answers to abolishing ICE, Medicare for All, Green New Deal, ending aid to Israel, and more.
“You just have to sit there and act the bitch to this guy or he'll cast you out and find someone else who will. So they just say yes, none of it means anything.” (18:24 – Dave Rubin)
Moderates Out, Radicals In:
Rubin warns that even Democrats once considered moderate are forced to adopt progressive stances or face removal.
(25:26–29:34)
Broken Promises in New York:
Rubin highlights NYC’s Mamdani and allies campaigning on free transit but moving to raise their own salaries amid rising rents and cost-of-living.
“Anyone who voted for this guy thinks that him now getting a raise…there’s no low, too low. There’s no bottom to the pit.” (25:26)
Housing Crisis:
Data shows surging NYC rents. Rubin blames progressive policies for capital flight and housing shortages, mocking proposed solutions.
Fraud & Corruption:
Exposes a Queens “adult daycare” investigated for massive fraud, emblematic of “endless” public sector corruption.
(32:56–45:53)
Hollywood Progressivism:
Rubin turns to the controversy over Christopher Nolan’s "The Odyssey," featuring Elliot (formerly Ellen) Page as a Greek warrior and Lupita Nyong’o as Helen of Troy.
“Would you have a Greek warrior that would just be a small, little, somewhat frailish person?... There’s some pushback.” (35:01)
Modernization and Representation:
Panel interviews reveal the film uses contemporary language and casts actors in roles far outside historical expectations.
"People bring...a lot of cultural prejudice...they're sort of elevating it because it's old." (43:38 – Nolan)
Woke Hiring & Award Incentives:
Rubin cynically suggests Oscar rules encourage “checkbox” casting over storytelling fidelity, echoing recent industry debates.
Rubin’s Take:
Remains open-minded to the film, pledges to review it himself before passing final judgment.
(47:30–49:52)
Policing and Social Justice Theater:
Mockery of Toronto police’s PR moves — featuring a “Pride SUV” and an officer donning high heels for a gender-based violence event — juxtaposed with violent protests and general social unrest.
“That’s a serious country. These are serious people. That’ll really protect you from bad guys.” (49:31)
(51:20–60:29)
Khanna’s West Bank Stunt:
Rubin scrutinizes Rep. Ro Khanna’s recent trip to Judea/Samaria (West Bank), alleging Khanna staged a confrontation with Israeli settlers for media attention.
“It is obvious Khanna was eager to stage a confrontation...He brought a New York Times photographer with him.” (52:18)
Race-Baiting Accusations:
Khanna describes feeling “acutely aware” of his race in Israel. Rubin debunks claims, noting racial diversity in Israel and India’s high status in U.S. demographics.
Class Critique:
Reveals Khanna’s elementary-age children own three private golf club memberships worth $45,000/year each; accuses Khanna of hypocrisy for using tax loopholes.
(62:23–65:04)
Global Update:
Trump imposes a blockade on the Strait of Hormuz after Iranian deal collapses, with U.S. Central Command launching strikes on Iranian assets.
Trump’s Position:
Emphasizes transactional approach — U.S. protection in the Strait for a fee, expresses frustration with endless broken deals.
“We’ll become the guardian of the strait. Maybe we’ll call it the guardian angel of the Strait.” (62:23 – Trump)
War Weariness:
Rubin expresses his hope for the conflict’s quick resolution but remains skeptical about Iranian motives.
(65:04–68:55)
Hasan Piker on Lindsey Graham:
Leftist streamer Hasan Piker attacks recently deceased Lindsey Graham as a “bloodthirsty, odious monster."
"There was never a war that Lindsey Graham did not fall in love with. Mr. Ladybug himself. Lindsey Graham never met a baby in the third world he did not want to evaporate with American munitions." (65:04 – Hasan Piker)
Lindsey Graham on Joe Biden (2015):
In sharp contrast, Rubin plays an old clip of Graham expressing deep respect and empathy for his political rival, Joe Biden, highlighting the lost art of civility.
"If you can't admire Joe Biden as a person, then it's probably, you got a problem, you need to do some self-evaluation because what's not to like?" (66:28 – Lindsey Graham)
"That's a good man. That, again, you might have political disagreements with and who cares? But there you've got this Hasan Piker lunatic dancing on his grave...There he is talking about the human part." (67:40 – Dave Rubin)
On Democrat Party Radicalization:
"It’s not the Democrat Party anymore. There is an insurrection running throughout the party. The inmates are taking over." (03:13)
On the Socialist Agenda:
"They're telling you we are here to destroy capitalism. They're telling us constantly they don't like the founding of the country." (11:16)
On Progressive Litmus Tests:
"You just have to sit there and act the bitch... He'll cast you out and find someone else who will." (18:24 – on Hasan Piker’s show)
On Ro Khanna:
"He is just such a worthless piece of shit. I'm sorry." (54:46)
On Culture Wars & Hollywood:
"Would you have a Greek warrior that would just be a small, little, somewhat frailish person?... There’s some pushback." (35:01)
On Civility:
“If you can't admire Joe Biden as a person, then it's probably, you got a problem. You need to do some self-evaluation because what's not to like?” (66:28 – Lindsey Graham)
Rubin’s style is combative, sarcastic, sometimes profane ("scumbag piece of shit"), and skeptical toward progressive orthodoxy. The overall episode is characterized by a sense of alarm at the leftward shift in American (and Canadian) institutions, while also offering moments of reflective praise for civility in politics and a call for more honesty and level-headedness amid partisan rancor.
