We are also joined by our MemberTraxx player of the week, Hayley Kill from Morris Area Chokio-Alberta High School. Hayley has had a monster season with 3 perfect games in the circle so far! We cover thoughts on Ms. Softball and get out frustrations on the lack of funding and administrative apathy our sport receives at the high school and collegiate level. Stella is an alumnus of the Midwest Speed and Bemidji State. She also was an assistant coach for the Beavers before joining the Midwest Speed coaching staff as the director of our Pitching Development Program! We are excited to have Stella return to Midwest Speed, and for being a big part of the next chapter of The Rundown! This episode also brings back a former coach from the program as Chris Iliopolous joins us to talk about his experience as Assistant Coach at Division 1 Lindenwood University! The big dance in upon us and this week and on The Rundown Brent and Mike go A to Z on the teams competing in this seasons MSHSL State Tournament! Who is going two win each class? The 2023 ICCAC Division II Coach of the Year gives us the inside look at the NJCAA landscape and the incredible opportunities that exist for play at this next level. For many athletes the junior college option provides a great opportunity to continue to develop their skills and extend their scouting window. It is an option for many athletes that should not be over looked. Give this one a good listen folks because NIACC does it well, and Coach Egger is one of the good guys! We talk about her journey as a coach and the success the Tommie's are having as they migrate their program into NCAA's top level of play.
