I've been having so much fun over the last three or four months hanging out with them. They join my Atlas Group and now we're here at Inner Circle and I wanted to pull them aside because just been fun watching them from afar, obviously learning more about them and their businesses. I thought they had some really unique things that they're doing. It'd be fun to share with you guys as a whole. And so they're coming all the way from which part of Texas you guys from?
Larry
East.
Stacy
East Texas.
Russell Brunson
East Texas.
Stacy
Out in the middle of the country.
Russell Brunson
Yeah, all the way from Texas and excited to have them here. So it's Larry and Stacy and yeah, excited to have you guys here. How y'all feeling today?
Larry
That's great. Yeah.
Russell Brunson
So I would love for you guys to explain because again, a lot of people in our world are in coaching businesses. You guys have a coaching business, but it's a little different. And love you explain kind of what you're doing, why you're doing it so people have an understanding of that before we dive into some of the business.
Larry
Side of it, yeah, we actually work with faith based CEOs, entrepreneurs and we help them really anchor their calling. A lot of people that we work with have made millions and millions of dollars. Some of are in their startup but we teach them how to move from reven creation to profitability and cash flow so that they can create greater generosity. So our driver is generosity. Like we work everything. When we work inside of P and L statements and we work inside of something, we have a signature growth method. It's how can we increase their operational efficiencies doge their business so that we can create greater generosity.
Russell Brunson
That's a new thing now, right?
Larry
Yeah, yeah. Doge the business.
Stacy
If we have a different spin on it, instead of governmental efficiency, it's Godly efficiency.
Russell Brunson
Ooh, way better.
Stacy
Department of Godly Efficiency. Yeah.
Russell Brunson
Dogesecrets.com that could be the next.
Larry
Yeah, right.
Russell Brunson
That's amazing. And then the people you're working with are most of them like again, they're running businesses and they want to focus more on God in their business or you know what I mean? Or is it people that are already focusing on that and you're helping them figure out their calling more so or.
Larry
Where exactly does most of the denominator is that people. I think there's going to be a divergence in the next two years where people have run after money and things and they're searching for success. They've heard about the importance of significance, but the real denominator is going to be a drive for peace. So as the world with AI, there's so many great things happening, just like you said on stage, but there's some scary things. And people are going to either be able to master what we talk about. We talk about conscious thinking, subconscious thinking. Our driver is how people get into the superconscious thinking where it's not the things that money can buy, but it's the things that money can't buy. I got to travel with zig Ziglar for 12 years and we shared the stage together for a long time. And he used to say, I like the things that money can buy. They can buy a house, but they can't buy a home. It can buy a bed, but it can't buy a good night's sleep. It can buy a book, but it'll never buy wisdom. And so the things that money can't buy are the super conscious things that. That's how we work with leaders all the world, helping them get to that place where they can create legacy based on the things that money can't buy.
Russell Brunson
Yeah, that's really neat. Larry. You told a story at Inner Circle that kind of or Atlas meeting. I mean they kind of like shocked me and was interesting. But it shows us how, how much you guys believe in like making decisions based on faith, not just always numbers. You know what I'm talking about? About walking away from every like, yeah, 2017. I love you tell that story. Cuz I think so many people, it's like we only base our decisions based on the numbers, the metrics, things like that. But there' many times that I think that, that people, if they started listening to other things outside of that, you know, listening to God, listening to their faith, listening, things like that somebody make decisions that make no logical sense. Now side you're like, this is crazy. Why are we doing this? But then it's like, it's the reason why the next thing is born and the birth of the next thing happens. And I think I'd love for you to tell that story.
Stacy
Yeah, it's a great story. You know, it started off with Stacy having a dream. And so one morning she woke up and she felt like God had given her this new song to write. And can you tell the words?
Larry
Yeah. I just said, will you say yes? Would you sacrifice your life? Will you say yes? Would you have raised the knife? Which is a story out of the Bible. Adam and I mean Abraham and Isaac and will you say yes? Or will you turn and walk away? Will you say yes to me today? And I thought it was a song. So I got up, got in my office thinking, oh, I'm writing another song. Yeah. But it wasn't a song, it was a request.
Stacy
And so we felt like the Lord was telling us that we needed to step away or she was feeling like the Lord was telling her that she needed to step away from our business, that we had very successful business at the time. And so I wake up, she tells me, and she says, I think you're going to have to take over everything, you know, you need to the cells, everything, you know, so I'm usually the operations guy and. And so I said, okay, you know, let's do it. And so she stepped away from that. And I was just running our business. And a few weeks later, I felt like I had the same dream that she had, that it was like, no, it wasn't just for her, it was for both of you. And so we had bills to pay, we had two teenagers, you know, we. And it was a significant amount of income that we had coming into our family. And to walk away from all of that and literally give everything away. Because that was the second part of it was it wasn't just step away from your. Your business and stop generating income, but it was give away everything you have. And I was like, God, what does that look like? And so a lot of people, it's hard for them to fathom, you know, especially in this day and age, because, you know, you read the Bible about the rich young ruler and where Jesus asked him to give everything away and to walk with him, and the rich young ruler said, I can't do that. And he went away sad. And so we don't know what would have happened if he said, okay, I'll give away everything. But I felt like that was a test for us. And, you know, I know it's not a test for everybody, but it was a test for us.
Larry
Two and a half years we did that. So every time. So we're pretty high at that time. We're pretty high leaders in various industries. And so we would get recruited to come work for different companies. And every time we would get a really big package, equity ownership, we would sense, this is not what I've called you to do. I told you, give it all away. My mom was like, that's the devil.
Russell Brunson
Right?
Stacy
Well, the interesting was, like, during that season of time, like, we had zero income coming in. Like, we're trying to figure out how to pay bills, because we had bills.
Russell Brunson
You living in your house? Like, how.
Larry
Yeah, we had a very.
Stacy
We had a mortgage. We had electricity, water.
Larry
House was up for sale. Cause he said, sell everything.
Stacy
Yeah, we had the house up for sale, and it wouldn't sell. And that was, like, really frustrating, too, because in the back of my mind, I was thinking, well, we have equity in the house, and, you know, that could be our fallback and all that stuff, but it would not sell. And so literally, we were living by faith from month to month to month. And the interesting thing was was he provided. Like, he provided every single month. And so I would sell things. You know, we had bills to pay. I would go up in the attic and say, we're not using this. I'll put it on, you know, whatever the ebay or whatever it is, and I'd sell it and have enough money to pay the bills for that month. And then next month would come. But then there got to one month where I was like, I don't have anything else to sell. Like, we sold everything. Unless we want to start selling our furniture that we use every day. And.
Larry
And we had the house listed, so we wanted to keep it staged. So interesting. I went into fetal. Like, I. Because it was my dream. I felt like I'm leading my family.
Russell Brunson
You second guessed it a lot.
Larry
Oh, my goodness. It's like, mentally, especially when you've been identified online. Like, we had thousands of people watching us online because we had raised up some companies that I had, like, 250,000 people in my town. So it was like, I was used to being popular. He was used to. We would travel, and we'd do the selfies. Like, God's blessing us. Look at us, and we're, like, on safaris. And I remember, like, month three, crying out to God, why would you ask this of us? And we actually had a pastor that came and asked the same thing, because we were some of the biggest givers in our church. And so he said, why would God ask you to do that? Because you guys use your money to advance the kingdom of God. And so I went home that night, and I was thinking, yeah, why are we having to. And suddenly that little voice made us question. And I remember saying, God, why would you ask that of us? We use our money to advance your kingdom. And it was like, I heard clear as day, say it again. I said, we use our money to advance your kingdom. He said, say it again. I said, we use our money to advance your kingdom. And he said, stacy, isn't that narcissistic? You think I need your money to advance my kingdom? He said, I don't need your money. I need your. Yes. And we knew in that moment that this was a calling of something bigger than. We've raised up some pretty big companies. This was a test that he wanted to see what had our attention. And the next day, Larry came in and he encouraged me, got out of bed, and I was, like, feeling better. The next day, Larry comes into my office, and he said, I can't breathe. I feel like I have a Mack truck on my chest. No wife wants to hear that. And I said, hey, what's going on? He says, I got nothing. Left us out. And I said, well, you told me yesterday that he's got us. And so I said, why don't you go for a walk and just pray? We have an acronym. Pray, P, R, A, Y. Pause, reflect, ask, and then yield. Ask God, what are you asking of us? Well, he comes back, and when he comes back, he went to the mailbox, and he walks in. I'm in my office, and he goes to the kitchen, and all of a sudden, he starts screaming, stacy, Stacy. And he's waving this Visa bill and I'm thinking, God, how do I encourage him? And he says, no, open it. We open it up. And Russell, it was a refund from Visa saying that we had overpaid interest for X amount of time was $32 than more than our bills, that much that month.
Stacy
And what was crazy though is like I felt like he said at that point, he says, now will you trust me? Because like every single month. Because he said, you know, think back. Because at this time, we're like a year and a half into it. And he said, think back. Have you ever missed a bill? Have you ever been late on a payment? I was like, no, never been late on a payment, never missed paying a bill. And even when I thought that we were, he still provided.
Larry
It always felt like it was last minute, but it was always on time. And so that was the first time he asked us to give it away.
Russell Brunson
Hey everyone, if you're anything like me, you've probably spent more time than you want to admit just trying to stay on top of your email. Am I right? I used to wake up, fire up the inbox and boom. I was hit with a wave of random stuff, newsletter noise, low priority requests, affiliate spam, and somewhere in the chaos, a few messages that I actually needed to respond to. It drove me nuts and I ended up spending hours every day sorting, replying, getting distracted and pulling off the work that actually moved my business forward. But that all changed when I tried Notion Mail. And let me tell you, it's like somebody took my funnel brain and built an email platform out of it. This is the inbox that thinks like you. Notion Mail uses AI to organize everything based on what's important to you. It learns what matters, automatically labels and sorts messages, drafts responses, and even schedules meetings. One of the hardest parts about B2B marketing isn't getting attention, it's getting the right attention. I'm sure you know what I mean. Isn't it a pain when you see the weirdest ads showing up in your feed? Ads for things you know you would never use in a million years and you start thinking that person is wasting so much money targeting me for a product or service I will never use. And here's the thing, those companies probably thought that they were marketing perfectly, but they were wasting money because they didn't get their targeting right. And that's why LinkedIn Ads is such a game changer. LinkedIn isn't your everyday social platform. This is where over 1 billion professionals, people who are already thinking about business, are hanging out and their targeting options are unreal. You can target by job title, industry, company size, role skills, revenue level, seniority, literally laser focus to the decision makers who can actually buy what you're selling. It's like having a magic filter for your perfect customer. And if you're serious about growing your business and you don't want to keep paying to show people ads who will never buy, then you have to get on LinkedIn. Here's the best part. LinkedIn will even give you $100 credit on your next campaign. So you can try it yourself. Just go to LinkedIn.com clicks that's LinkedIn.com C L I C K S. Terms and conditions apply only on LinkedIn ads.
Larry
We now live on a ranch, 62 acres. And we obviously birthed in 2021 fueled by fire, where we help CEOs understand that beyond the currency of money, beyond the economy that everybody lives for, there's another economic system and it's out of this world. And so when you ask, who do you serve? We serve people who have been in the rat race. They've made money, they've lost money, they've made money. Money seems to have wings. But like, you know, when you put your money to a movement, instead of chasing money, you create movements. Suddenly money begins to multiply. And there's a scripture in the Bible that talks about multiplying the talent, not consuming it, not burying it in fear. I can't invest in, you know, growth, but really multiplying it. And that we believe is what God's called us to do is to teach people how to move out of the rat race of revenue into profitability so that they can multiply cash flow and create generosity. And we've got two nonprofits that we are able to funnel those funds through in women. We rescue and restore the lives of women. And girls have gone through some crazy things. And Epiphany Global, where we just support missions around the world and outreaches around the world.
Stacy
You know, Russell, God brought us out of that season, right? Obviously. And when he brought us out of that season, that's when we birthed Fueled by Fire, our coaching business. And he tremendously blessed that. And so we pay for everything in cash. We owe no man but to love him. You know, we don't have any debt or anything like that. And fast forward a few a couple years later. So it was in October of 2023. Stacy wakes up in the morning and so she has a habit. Every morning we both do that. We say, good morning, Holy spirit, what would you have of us today? And we wait and to see what he has to say.
Larry
And that's not natural, because your natural is to look at your phone, to want to get up. But before those juices, the dopamine, serotonin, norepinephrine hit your body to let him have those first seconds of the day. And if he says cancel everything, we cancel everything. If he says puts a face before us, we, you know, like right now, I've got some folks that I know just recently have lost loved ones. And I know they're smiling, but they're hurting. And that ability to hear him makes you a conduit. And so that morning was extraordinary. Again.
Stacy
So she felt like she heard 10 out of 10, will you do it again? And she's like, God, what does that mean?
Larry
My eyes are closed. And I'm like, oh, God. Because we had just. Again, we do everything on cash. So we raised up all the money. A lot. Like what you're doing with the million dollar offer we're creating on 62 acres. We're creating a lodge, we're creating an event center. And so we had raised the money for that.
Stacy
To pay for it in cash.
Larry
To pay for it in cash. And I heard 10 out of 10. Let's do it again.
Stacy
Liter. The next day we had concrete guys coming out to build up the forms. Yeah, to start with, we had already cleared off that pad and everything. The pad was set. They were ready to put the forms on.
Larry
He's brushing his teeth And I said.
Russell Brunson
How am I gonna tell him this?
Larry
And my eyes are still closed. I said, what would you do if God said 10 out of 10, let's do it again, do it by midnight. I'll give you a hundredfold return. Without missing a beat, he leans out of the bathroom and he goes, those are great odds. Let's do it. Like, no fear, no questioning it. So we had calls until 4:00 from 4 to midnight. We had to give all that money away. And I will say to nonprofit organizations that don't have online giving set up. It was a Saturday, October 31st. There were so many nonprofit organizations that we wanted to give to that they didn't have their system set up. We couldn't give 25,000 or more to them. And so most people are thinking, sounds pretty crazy.
Stacy
We're like trying to give them money.
Russell Brunson
Not working.
Stacy
Yeah, it wasn't working. So we literally had these people.
Larry
That's what I'm saying, the same thing, operational excellence. But we did that. And the next launch, in one launch we were able to hold up.
Stacy
So the very last organization that we gave to the campaign, they were just launching this campaign and we got a hold of them like at 11:45 at night and happened to be a church in Austin. And they said, yeah, we have this campaign. You're going to be the first ones to give into it. We're like, okay, great. And so, you know, what do we send the money to? And they told us and they said, I said, so what's the name of your campaign? They said, all in.
Russell Brunson
That makes sense.
Stacy
And I'm like, you gotta be kidding me. This is like the last bit of money and it's all in. I'm like, that's amazing.
Larry
But the thing that really is the story that relates to most people is like everyone else, we spent so we've been doing business for four decades and we spent so much time chasing money, chasing money, chasing how do we increase funds, how do we make more revenue? And I believe there's a message that there, and I see it more and more in your posts. There's more, there's more to our calling isn't over here and our business over here. There's a convergence instead of a divergence, there's a convergence of those coming together where people can live a purpose driven, faith based, highly profitable life that creates extravagant generosity without forsaking their faith, their family, their freedom. And Peyton's a living, walking testimony of what happens when as parents we be consistent in more than what the world Offers, they come back and they want to follow.
Russell Brunson
Peyton's are stunned. For those who have known pain yet, yes.
Stacy
And the follow up to all of that, we're almost done building that. Building really so cool.
Russell Brunson
It's interesting because for me, in my journey for years, I always looked at my calling and my business as completely separate things. And it wasn't until for me, I had someone who's one of my coaches, and she's an amazing coach. But before I hired her as my coach, she went through my coaching program. So I helped helped her and her husband launched their business and all sorts of stuff. And I was having this coaching call with her, and she was talking about that, you know, like, how they're tied together. I'm like, no, they're not. Like, God doesn't care about what I'm doing over here. Like, this is my business. This is where I, you know, where I spend my time. Spiritually, they're different. And she was like, you don't see it? I'm like, see what? She's like, she's like, you're like, this is your calling, what you're doing. And I was like, no, my calling is not helping me make money. It seemed really shallow to me. I was just like that God couldn't care less about me. Help people make money. These are so separate. And then it was powerful coming from her. She's like, you don't understand. Yes, you help us make money. But she's like, do you realize what you gave us? She's like, before we met you, like, we were in bondage. Like, we couldn't do anything. And you helped us to get out of bondage. I guess we made money, but we got out of bondage. And now we can serve and we can give. We spend more time with our family. We're able to, like, give to charity and, like, all this stuff. And she's like, she's like, you like, the vehicle that God's given you to, like, the tool, whatever, is to help people make more money. But what you're actually giving people is freedom. When you start looking at that way, you're calling us to free people so they can serve people. They can do it. And, like, I was like, bawling my eyes out. I'm like. Because I'd never. I'd never seen that. Never. Like, you know, and for me, when I. When I put those two things together, it gave me more permission to, like, double down on my business. Feeling like now I'm like, okay, well, if this is a calling, like, then I need to go all like. Then I don't know if I personally feel like I had, like, safety nets after that. Cause I'm like, oh, well, I'm doing what God wants me to do, therefore, like, I can go harder. You know what I mean? I didn't put safety nets like you guys were. I'm hoping I never have to, but I'm hoping I would be willing, but also, you know.
Larry
But it's a crazy thought. It is a crazy, like, think about, you know, in 2017, before 2017, we had a. We've had all kinds of traditional business. Telecom, healthcare. We had a business that we were using a type of network marketing model, selling telecom. Garrett was in his flux of the worst days of his life. And I remember meeting Garrett and saying he would be a great guy to have on my front line. And so he slept on our couch. He was in a tough season of life.
Russell Brunson
This is Garrett White before Garrett Jay White, that you all know.
Larry
Yeah, but everybody has a before story. We have a before story. And the before story is what's so important, because Garrett, in his worst days, helped us create our first funnel. He was hacking. He had every kind of system. It was like Frankenstein to everything. But that was 2012, and you guys were all in the research mode and all of that, probably trying to hack some of the stuff we were doing over there. That funnel put 23,000 people for me into that system, which became 250,000, which became a $350 million company in three and a half years. And then fast forward where we see back to what you've created. Those days of hacking and searching and trying to figure out, what is this click funnels thing going to be. Today we write offers for anything God tells us to do. Anything he tells us to put in a lake and stock it with bass. We look at how much is. We don't ever question it. How much is that going to cost? Let's build a launch for that, put in a lodge, which is what we're doing now. We look at the budget and we know God has no problem with money. And he's given us a tool. We just write a launch for that. Everything he now we teach other people how to do it. No matter. This is where I say, no eye has seen, no ear has heard the things that God has prepared for you. We just have to get out of scarcity grasshopper thinking and believe. Get a giant slayer David mentality. And instead of saying, the giant's so big, I can't do it. The giant's so big, I can't miss. And when you have that perspective, you walk into a room like what we're in right now and you realize that one can put a thousand to flight, two can put ten thousand to flight. But what if we create a movement? We can change the world.
Russell Brunson
Yeah. So cool. Funnel hackers. Let me tell you a story that still makes me cringe a little. We were gearing up for a huge launch. Funnels were done, landing pages were tight, copy was dialed in. Everything was ready to rock. Except for one thing. We were looking for more support people to be able to handle the launch. And we figured, no big deal, we're going to find somebody quickly. But that didn't happen. We spent weeks trying to hire the right person. We put listings on all the typical sites, but they got buried under a flood of random applicants who weren't even remotely qualified. It delayed our campaign, slowed our momentum, and ended up costing us tens of thousands of dollars in lost sales. That's why now I tell everyone to use Indeed. Assembled in Flint, Hamtranneck, Michigan, in Fort Wayne, Indiana of US and globally sourced parts. I'm curious, when you guys make your offers, do you tell the people like, hey, the money we raised from this, we're going to be building that? Like, do you talk about that or is it more behind the scenes? Like, are people buying into the whole.
Larry
Vision of it from day one?
Stacy
Yeah, so when. So we have a workbook that people can buy. It's an upsell. We have a VIP which people can become a member of during our launch. And both of those, we tell them that 100% of those proceeds from the workbook or from VIP go to one of our nonprofits. And so they know that going in.
Larry
And then from our actual, we do programs that are 25,000 to 250,000 and we let them know a bare minimum of 10% of everything we bring in immediately goes back out. And to BE in our $125,000 or $250,000 program, they sign an agreement that they will give 10% of their company to nonprofit. We won't work with them unless they give. So because we know there's an equation of generosity that causes the blow up of their business. So one company specific is two young guys that came to us at 21 and 23. They had started these sheds and hit Covid where everybody was trying to find places to store their stuff. And so they, they did pretty good. But then they came to us and they were going through bankruptcy. And we happen to have a lot of business acumen to help people like that. So in less than nine months, we were able to get them to 13 million. And from 13 million in three years, we got them to over 70 million. But every time they would take a dip, it's because they stopped giving. Every time they got a setback, it's because they were messing with the equation of generosity. So we've tapped into an equation that works inside of our client, within our clients, that it's, it's like gravity. You can't explain it, but you cannot deny it.
Russell Brunson
I have something cool about that. So my mentor, Dan Kennedy, brilliant marketing mind, not someone who has faith or believe, you know, and that kind of stuff, which, and it shocked me because I bought one of his courses. Back in the day was his wealth building course. And the entire first hour of the wealth building course he was like, all right, there's this thing you have to do. It's not gonna make any sense. Doesn't make sense to me. He's like, but you give away money. You give to people you s. And he's like. And it comes back. He's like. And it was funny because he doesn't know the principles or why. He just knew it worked. And so he's like, so, like, step number one, if you want to build wealth, give money away. That was like the whole. And I was like. And I asked him later, I was just like, that was so shocking that that would be like, like, like, I love you, death. But I know your beliefs over here, and that doesn't make any sense. It doesn't make sense to me either. But it. Math, you know, the equation works. And so I give money away, and it. It comes back. And I had another mentor. He said. He said something really cool. This is back 20 years ago. He told me this. He said, the size of the hole that you give from will be equivalent size of whole you receive from. And I remember he said that. And I was just starting my business at the time, and I had a little bit of money, but not. Not a lot. But I started thinking about, like, when I'd go to restaurant tipping people, I'm like, I can tip 10% or 20%, whatever. I'm like, or what if I tip the whole bill? So I started doing that more and more, and it's just. It started that process. And anyway, it's just. It's interesting.
Larry
Our lake is really important to us. So I have a dream that I'm getting close to 60, that I want to have fishing with G mama. And I want people to come out to the lake and have a TV show, and I want to talk to them about the finer things of life. And so when we're building this lake, first off, you're intentional. You know, it requires a lot of thought process. You know, what are you going to put in the lake? How are you going to feed the. The bass? And are you going to have shiners and bluegill? And so you're putting a lot of money into the lake. And in Texas, we have big rain, so the lake fills up and we've got this incredible dam and spillway. Well, the lake fills up and then it keeps raining, and it's like we're. We're on top of the hill watching this, and we're like, oh, wow, it's overflowing. Like, it's.
Russell Brunson
Fish are flooding.
Larry
It is out the Spillway. And we're thinking as we're going to bed, we do not want this to go over the dam. So we go to bed, we're praying God, we're just stewards of this whole vision. We don't own it, it's yours. And so if you want us to start over with the fish, we know we can do it again. We feel that way about business. And so it's not ours, it's yours. Well, we go to bed and the next morning I wake up and literally the water is not only flooding out of the spillway, but it's right up to the edge of the dam. And I woke up and I said, good morning, Holy spirit, what would you have of me today? And he said, as long as you have an effective spillway, I can keep sending the rain. He said the spillway is generosity. He said, don't stop giving, I'll keep sending the rain. And Russell, that's what we see with you is as much as people know you for all the click funnel things, anyone that studies you deeper, they see your heart of generosity. They see even when you get on stage and there's somebody who's passed away, the generosity that comes from your tenderness of heart. While. And we are athletes. So put us, put me on a basketball court, I'll score. Put him in a football field, he's going to score. Put you in your zone and on the mat. Well, maybe that's the end of my 2.
Russell Brunson
I can still be most people with no arms, but I'm willing to try.
Larry
But that, that competitiveness, move to generosity. That's why our vision is to create a billion dollar storehouse of generosity. And the only way we'll do that is by working with a lot of really successful companies and CEOs who get the tithe, who understand the 10% giving.
Stacy
And what the amazing thing is though, is that every single company that comes to us comes through clickfunnels. And so the platform that you guys built is the gateway that gets them.
Larry
To us, to Uganda, Mozambique, Guatemala, all these different organizations that we support. ClickFunnels is making a way for that. So if you've ever questioned whether or not your calling and your business are aligned, making a difference, it is like take, take the slingshot away from David.
Stacy
Yeah.
Russell Brunson
Well, dang. Thank you, guys. I feel better about myself already.
Stacy
There you go.
Russell Brunson
That's awesome. Okay, one last question. Because I know in the business world and people follow me, listen, there's two sides. There's a lot who do believe in faith. You Know, but there's a lot who struggle with that and they're like, you know, and I'd be curious, like for those who don't believe in whatever, but like more so, like, how do you help them to understand there's a calling? Because I'm a big believer. I think all businesses calling. I feel like the reason why 22 years ago I got geeked out about marketing is God was planting seeds for like today, right? And I think people start businesses and even if they don't have faith in something, but like, how do they, how do they, I don't know if there's a way or if you, if you teach something. But how they find their calling, how do they, how they become aware of it, how do they know it's not just like I'm trying to make money, but like, how do they find the purpose?
Larry
Well, people, we always say, give people what they want and then as you create the dynamic of relationship, give them what they really need. So people come to us to make more money and they know that we have a track record of producing wealth. So that's what our signature growth method is. And it starts with God size vision. The gift, God sized vision. Having something bigger than yourself that you cannot do alone. And then the R is how to turn your revenues into profitability and cash flow. Everybody wants that. O operational excellence, which is Larry's jam. Teaching people how to really doge their business. Create SOPs, create a functionally healthy company. W wise counsel, how to put scaffolding around you in order to scale t how to have a team managed business. And then h healthy habits. People come for that. What we know though is a lot of those leaders that come, they're addicted to pornography and alcohol and they've tried everything to get free. Everything. And when somebody is suffering, we always say you go through three things. Suffering, sacrifice, and then you go through silence before you get the slingshot. When you're in that place of suffering, it's not about religion, it's about freedom. And so we talk a language of peace and freedom that brings people to a place of recognizing. God has given you a talent, but maybe you've let a crack. You know, there's a. I talked about it yesterday when we were on stage is the crack in the nuclear submarine called the USS Thresher. And basically they were on a regular routine mission and they slipped below their integrity level, which is the integrity of what the submarine was built for. They went deeper and then all of a sudden they started having malfunctions. But it was a crack in the submarine that actually caused it to implode. It was catastrophic. They called it a catastrophic failure. A lot of CEOs experience catastrophic failure because of a crack in their marriage, a crack in their family, not watching what's happening to the kids. And so suddenly they're spending all these years building all this money or wealth and they miss the thing that actually imploded. What matters most. And so that's how we communicate, really. Not about religion, but about what matters most in your life. We happen to be Christians. That's our faith. But we speak to people of all different backgrounds. At the end of the day, money is not the denominator everybody's chasing. Money only makes you more of what you are. But what most people are chasing is peace. And peace often comes through suffering, sacrifice, a season of silence, and then the ability to say what Zig Ziglar always said be, do have. We believe. It starts off with C. Have that God sized vision. Become the leader God created you to be. Do the hard work, do the reps, do the reps so that you can have a life of peace and profits.
Russell Brunson
So cool. Yeah, this is fun. I'm glad we had a chance to sit down and talk. I'm glad for my people to hear this too because I think I try to bring this and weave more of these kind of conversations into what I'm doing. And this was just super cool. And just to see what you guys. How much you're willing to follow the promptings of God is inspiring and exciting and scary.
Larry
Yeah, it is.
Russell Brunson
If you have any promptings for me, don't let me know. Just kidding.
Larry
You know, when we saw your selling online challenge and I wanted to tell you this is that we're so glad that we were in ClickFunnels since 2017, but had no idea what ClickFunnels was. We didn't know the community beyond the platform. Yeah. We just used the software.
Stacy
Yeah.
Larry
And when we saw selling online, it was because we were looking for a sales coach for our team who didn't drop the F bomb. We were just looking for somebody who could just teach the information without the emotional drama.
Stacy
Shared the same values and with.
Larry
Yeah, values. And so the day that we saw you and you went through the whole thing, our team is online with us and they're like, when you went to the million dollar offer, they're like, larry, hold her back, hold her back. Because they just know. I'm like, if that can.
Russell Brunson
It's not too late. By the way.
Stacy
We got it in the back of our mind.
Russell Brunson
Yeah.
Larry
And. But when you made the offer, we of course went in for the offer that you were offering and we said, how do we get on a call? Because what was in the back of our mind was not what can we get from you, but how can we come and just serve and be a part of the community? If we get an idea and we already have, you know, one funnel changes everything, pays for everything. That's why we always say it's not about the money. It's about are you willing to receive. The one thing that can change everything for us, that's why we're here, is we want to be a part of the movement that you're doing, the bigger movement. And we're honored that we get to be in the room with you.
Russell Brunson
Well, thanks, you guys. It's been super cool getting to know you guys ever since day one. When we first hung out at Atlas, I was like, I love these guys. They're. Yeah. So grateful to have you guys. In Episode 33 of The Russell Brunson Show, Russell Brunson sits down with Larry and Staci Wallace, the dynamic duo behind Fueled by Fire, to explore the profound integration of faith, business, and generosity. This conversation delves deep into their unique coaching methodology, centered on transitioning from mere revenue generation to creating profitable businesses that prioritize generosity and positive societal impact.
Russell begins by introducing Larry and Staci, highlighting their recent collaboration within his Atlas Group and Inner Circle. He expresses enthusiasm about their distinctive approach to business and their shared values, setting the stage for an insightful discussion.
Larry explains their mission:
"We work with faith-based CEOs, entrepreneurs and we help them really anchor their calling. A lot of people that we work with have made millions and millions of dollars... so that they can create greater generosity."
[02:09]
Their coaching focuses on moving clients from merely generating revenue to achieving profitability and cash flow, enabling them to engage in significant acts of generosity.
A pivotal moment in their journey is shared when Larry and Staci felt a divine calling to relinquish their successful business and give away their earnings. Staci recounts:
"I woke up and she says, I think you're going to have to take over everything... I think you're going to have to take over everything, you know, you need to the sales, everything."
[05:30]
Despite having a thriving business, they chose to live by faith, drastically reducing their income to follow what they believed was a higher calling.
Larry adds:
"Every time we would get a really big package, equity ownership, we would sense, this is not what I've called you to do. I told you, give it all away."
[07:22]
Their commitment to faith led to extraordinary provision. Larry shares a miraculous event:
"He goes, no, open it. We open it up... it was a refund from Visa saying that we had overpaid interest for X amount of time was $32,000..."
[11:27]
This unexpected refund helped them cover bills during their period of financial austerity, reinforcing their trust in their faith-driven path.
Larry and Staci discuss their broader vision:
"We're creating a billion-dollar storehouse of generosity... by working with a lot of really successful companies and CEOs who get the tithe, who understand the 10% giving."
[32:27]
Their goal is to foster a community where businesses operate with a mindset of generosity, ensuring sustainable and impactful giving.
Staci highlights the role of ClickFunnels in their mission:
"Every single company that comes to us comes through ClickFunnels. ClickFunnels is making a way for that."
[33:00]
ClickFunnels serves as the platform that connects like-minded entrepreneurs to Fueled by Fire, facilitating their journey toward merging faith with business success.
Russell shares his journey of reconciling business success with his sense of calling. He reflects on a conversation with his coach that transformed his perspective:
"She was like, you're the vehicle that God's given you to help people make more money. But what you're actually giving people is freedom."
[25:07]
This epiphany helped Russell see his business not just as a means to make money but as a tool to provide freedom and enable others to serve.
Larry and Staci outline their coaching methodology, emphasizing:
Larry elaborates:
"We've tapped into an equation that works inside of our clients, that it's like gravity. You can't explain it, but you cannot deny it."
[29:04]
Their approach ensures that generosity becomes a natural outcome of successful and well-managed businesses.
Larry shares success stories of clients who transformed their businesses and lives through their coaching:
"We helped these young guys go from 13 million to over 70 million in three years by maintaining their generosity equation."
[28:36]
These testimonials underscore the effectiveness of their faith-based coaching model in fostering both financial success and generous giving.
Russell concludes the episode by expressing gratitude for Larry and Staci's insights, encouraging listeners to integrate faith and business to create meaningful change. Larry and Staci invite listeners to engage with their work through their website:
They emphasize the life-changing potential of their programs, encouraging entrepreneurs to embark on a journey that balances profitability with profound generosity.
Larry:
"Our driver is generosity."
[02:49]
Staci:
"Will you say yes? Would you sacrifice your life?"
[05:30]
Larry:
"She was like, you're the vehicle that God's given you to help people make more money... you are actually giving people freedom."
[25:07]
Russell:
"It's the size of the hole that you give from will be equivalent size of the hole you receive from."
[30:16]
Staci:
"We spent all the money we raised through ClickFunnels to support our nonprofits."
[33:00]
