Call 1-800-483-4428 or visit verizon.comsmallbusiness to book your appointment. Verizon Business do you have a funnel? But it's not converting. The problem 99.9% of the time is that your funnel is good, but. But you suck at selling. If you want to learn how to sell so your funnels will actually convert, then get a ticket to my next selling online event by going to sellingonline.com podcast. That's sellingonline.com podcast. This is the Russell Brunson Show. What's up, everybody? This is Russell. Welcome back to the podcast. And today I wanted to actually, I want to take you guys to Funnel Hacking Live. Are you cool with that? Funnel Hacking Live International, which we also nicknamed Funnel Hacking Live 9.5. It's between Funnel Hacking Live Live 9 and 10, we basically did a little mini virtual FHL, which is really cool. Well, it wasn't mini. I guess it was in a virtual studio that held about 300 people in rooms. All my inner circle members were in the room. And then we streamed it out to the masses. And so I think we had over 10,000 people that registered for it. But anyway, one of the presentations was my friend Taylor Welch. Taylor's someone who I have a lot of respect for. You've probably seen you've done another podcast episode and we went deep on some cool things and. But we thought it'd be fun to show you guys his FHL presentation. It was very unique. It was different and really powerful. So with that said, you guys are getting transported back in time to go hang out with Taylor Welch at funnel hacking lab 9 and a half. I hope you guys enjoy this presentation. If you do, let me know and we'll see you guys all soon.

When you encounter greatness, you can be threatened by it or you can be inspired by It. Pick one. Let's be inspired. Let's stand on the shoulders of giants. And there's no one more threatening if you have a little bit insecurity than, like, king of Internet, Russell Brunson. But Russell, I gotta say this real fast because it's like. It's real. I just met Russell two days ago for real. Dr. And I gave him a hug. And you can. You can't feel everyone's energy online, but when you meet him in person, it's like, whoa, this person's big. There's a story in the Bible about a guy named King David. Anybody heard of him? Yes or no? David. David, whatever. And so there's these mighty men of David. This has nothing to do with what I'm talking about, but we got to hit Russell before we keep going because he gave me this mic, and so I'm going to use it. And there are these people around David that are warriors. Crazy. One of them, Abishai, he, like, kills 300 people by himself. Joab. Crazy people. But what's fascinating when you study this is years ago, these men were on the front lines of the Israelites, afraid of a giant. It's the same people. What changed? There was a multiplier injected into the mix. Russell Brunson. Oh, he's a multiplier man. And I think he's about to go to a new level. If you agree with that. Give him something. Give him something. I don't know where he is, but thank you. Thank you for being here. Okay, we're gonna dance a little bit. We'll have some fun. I have some slides. I don't know if I'll use them or not. And we're just gonna hang out. Do you have someone to take notes with? Are we. Is this room like crew, family? Like, you know who they're voting for? Not there yet. Soon and very soon. Raise your hand if you have something in your life that you would like, but you do not yet have all the way up. What we're gonna do today, and this is my main job. I want to help you get these things. I want to speed them up for you. I want to make them easier, more effortless. How do we do that? We have to build some power. Anybody wants some power in the room? Anybody online wants some power. Here's what we're going to do. I just want to. I want to get to know you. I've got. They gave me, like, four minutes to talk. Garrett gets an hour and a half. Maybe after nine years, you can give me 90 minutes, and I'm gonna condense it down as much as I can. But what I want to do is I want to get to know each other real quick. Raise your hand again if you got something that you want that you do not yet have. All right, cool. I'm gonna give you a minute. I want you to write this down physically. Pen and paper, I want you to write it down. You got 60 seconds to do this, and then we're going to get to know each other a little bit. Sound good? Say, huh? All right. Write it down. Is anybody bold enough to share? You know, part. Part of getting this is taking it and printing it from the mental realm, second heaven to the physical realm, first heaven. Let me explain all of this for you, okay? I'm going to explain it. Who wants authority? Raise your hands. What's authority mean? Recognition and respect. Thank you very much. You get a bonus. Who else? Leadership. What's your accent? Oh, my God. Please keep talking. Who else? What's authority mean? Here's what it means. Write this down. Authority means the words out of your mouth have power. So if you take a. Is there a difference between a police officer standing with their hand up to oncoming traffic and a random civilian getting run over by something? What's the difference? Authority. Authority means that what you say has power, means what you do has power. So once again, raise your hand if you would like authority. Throw it in the chat if you would like authority. Here's what the Bible says. You have to subdue the earth. Authority is unlocked when you subdue. Authority can be latent, but you can't exercise it because you haven't wrestled with the thing you're getting authority over. Make sense? Yes or no? All right, so step number one. Who wants to share their vision, their dreams? Raise your hand. Let's go. What's your name, sir? Dj. I love the shirt. It's shiny. You can use this mic. All right, So I have six kids. You have 15 seconds. I have 12 grandkids. And I want to give them what we've learned here today. Let's go. The power to really live their own lives, their own dreams, and take life to the full potential. Because honestly, unless you learn this and execute this, you've got an average life. And who the hell wants that? All right, round of applause. Thank you, dj. Who else? Who else? What's your name? I'm Victor. Victor. Oh, I know you, Victor. All right, 15 seconds. Okay, so I have a multi seven figure in Brazil selling in Portuguese. Now I want to do it all again. In English to the whole world. I love it. Round of applause. I'll come back to you. The doctor has raised her hand. So it's Sonya. Sonya. I'm retired, not Dr. Sonya. Sonya's fine. Oh, we're friends now. Yes, absolutely. Hey, Sonya, tell us. I'm retired military, so one of my things that I would love to be the go to person for women veterans. I did 21 years in three combat tours. The next thing, I'm on my encore marriage, which means I'm looking for this. My husband now is married 18 years. It's been two years. And I want the best of the best in my marriage. I love it. I love it. Can I have a hug? You're the best. Thank you so much. Kyle, you're going to have to be my mic stand. Don't talk in that. Just hold it. If you want to talk, I guess, whatever. All right, check this out. So here's what we're gonna do. We're gonna speed up a little bit. And what I wanna tell you is I wanna tell you how I learned some of this stuff. Is that okay? We good with it? I should have. Hey, here's what I'll do. If you like something, just say nugget. That was genius. It's like, my man, I'm stealing that. That's good. This is me saying, wa, wa. Man, I am a case study for this stuff. I got started in business. I was 24 years old, had no money. We lived off of Taco Bell. Somebody say amen. It's actually not as bad for you as they say. You just gotta use your authority, you know, we didn't have any money. We got married. My wife, every piece of furniture in our house was given to us. I worked at the church full time. Vocational. You don't really join staff at a church to, like, make money. You join for other things. Anybody been on staff at church? Anybody worked vocational ministry? Yeah. God bless you. And I got married to my beautiful wife. Her name is Lindsay. This is her. And one day, my wife, she takes me to Ruby Tuesdays. We go to Ruby Tuesdays because it's free. Unlimited salad bar. We just eat and not pay for anything. She says, hey, I. I think it'd be nice, you know, you do you. But to have, like, some money. And I was, oh, okay. You're one of those people. You just worship mammon. So. No, I didn't say that. She said, I think that maybe church is not where you're supposed to be. I was like, I'm not going to Hell, and quitting the church job, like, because to me, I was so legalistic and didn't know how to work anything. And so I took her advice, literally. I said, I'm going to teach myself how to do this. So I started buying books. I started buying more books. One day she came home. Funny story. Can I tell you a funny story? Yeah. Thank you for the nugget, Michael. I'll give you something later for that. She came home one day, she was mad. Like, married dudes, raise your hands. You know, like, there's like, I'm frustrated with you. And then there's like, run away mad. And she said, what did you do? So what do you mean, what did I do? She said, there's an Amazon package at the door with six books in them. How did you buy them? I said, you told me to do this woman. I just did what you tell me. She's like, well, I need an oil change and we need, like, date. We couldn't afford both. So I just started buying books. And she wasn't. You know, the mixed signals you get. Some guys, we just gotta like band together. I was like, well, I don't. Maybe I don't need. Anyways, we're not going to go there. I don't have time. And one day I got lucky and I discovered this book called Psycho Cybernetics. If you've read it, let me know. And in Psycho Cybernetics, I learned that I had a program malfunction. The way that I was programmed by my upbringing, by my childhood. This is why if you got kids, anybody got kids, be really careful what you tell them. Because when you grow up learning, money don't grow on trees. Hard earned money. When you grow up learning these things as a kid, it begins to program you. You know what I'm talking about? And so I realized I was programmed and I had a cap. Somebody say cap? Then think about this as like a glass ceiling. Now be careful with this because some of your glass ceilings are actually gifts. If you grow beyond your maturity to hang onto it, mercy would be not giving it to you so you can keep it. Does that make sense? You sure? So I began to learn these rules and I began to take them seriously and I began to practice them. And. And all of a sudden we started to get unlocked. I was broke, we got married and I started taking it seriously. And then I was not broke. It happened again and again and again. And I learned this lesson. Repeat after me. Things take as long as you need them. Repeat after me. Things take as long as you need them to take, but no longer. Things take as long as you need them to take, but no longer. Things take as long as I need them to take, but no longer. Uh oh, this is a problem. This means that every level that I have wrestled with is really a responsibility issue. That if I'm programmed correctly, I can grow past it. Does it make sense? Are you good? She said, nugget, I love you so much. Thank you for keeping me going. This happened again when we moved to Nashville. We started the business, we moved to a new city with new friends and new environment and something unlocked. We hit a point of no return. I'm going to teach you a little bit about that today. And things unlocked quickly. We went from zero to 4,000 clients, 700 staff, hundreds of thousands of customers. And we did these events all over the world. And it got so big that one day I began to believe that I was entitled to the level that I had climbed to. And this is when you start hearing people say, like, nah, I'm not willing to do that. Nah, I don't want to work. I don't want to put myself online. You'll never, you will never grow past the things that you feel like you are entitled to. And you will never climb over the things that you are too good to do. Does this make sense? Yes or no? So things started building. Some of you in this room actually were here during this season, to which I apologize. It was wild, it was crazy. And then I started having kids. This is my five year old daughter. Her name is Kate. She's on the left. Harrison doesn't like being touched. His love language is like, stay away and give me food and we good. That's all he cares about. And one day, my daughter was three years old. Listen to this. Especially those of you who have kids or you want to have kids and you want to be a multiplier. I was eating breakfast at the Jewel of the South. Cracker Barrel. Cracker Barrel is where you take people when you want to connect with them. Enjoy some pancakes and have some chocolate milk. And my daughter and my wife were sitting at the table and I've started talking to my three year old. You got kids, you talk to them, you know, like ask them questions. How you doing? How was your day? And I'm having a conversation with my daughter and she's not responding to me. I'm like, what's wrong with you? Look at Lindsay. It's like, you gonna fix your child? This is your offspring. Deal with it. And Kate goes, looks at her mom. And her mom says, are you offended with Daddy? My three year old says, yes. He promised to ride bikes with me. And he didn't. She's three. He told me he was gonna go to Chickale, and he did it. He said we were gonna read books before bed, and he didn't. And the thought that goes through your mind when this happens, you think you have more time. Like, who would have thought a three year old would be keeping a list of offenses with her dad? I was like, something's got to change because the model that I'm using is not working. If you get to the end of your life, lean in on this. Some of the things that I say are things that you should rewrite your identity around. This is one of those things. If you get to the end of your life and you have pockets of time that you regret you have failed. Regardless of how high you climb, regardless of how much money you make, if you have wishes that you could go back and do it different, you didn't play it 100%. Now the good news is how many of us have regrets? Yeah, well, we're going to delete them today. Full on. Delete. Are you okay with that? This leads me into, like, the idea that I'm not a teacher, I'm a programmer. So I'm not speaking. I'm kind of like externally processing with you. Okay. That's why you have to talk back to me or I'll just leave because let's go process by myself. I want to program you. I want to change the chemical makeup of your brain a little bit. If you're cool with it. Are you good with it? You want me to keep going? You want me to stop you getting something already? All right, Nuggets. Thank you.

Do you ever get one of those ads that makes you go, why am I even seeing this? Not long ago, I kept getting served ads for these super fancy chef grade pots and pans, like premium artisan cookware. And I'm sitting here thinking, you guys, I barely even know how to boil water properly. I'm more of a protein bar and a podcast guy now. I'm not knocking the product. It just wasn't meant for me. And the real problem is that the company probably paid good money to show me that ad. And that's why I always tell marketers that relevance is everything. And that's where LinkedIn ads comes in. This isn't your average ad platform. It's a network of over a billion professionals. And targeting options are insane. You can target the exact buyers by job title, industry, company size, role, seniority, even skills and company revenue. That means your message gets in front of the right people, not someone who thinks that instant ramen is gourmet dining. Now, if you're serious about B2B marketing and not just throwing spaghetti at the wall hoping it'll stick, then you've got to be on LinkedIn. And here's the best part. LinkedIn will give you $100 credit on your next campaign so you can see it in action. Just go to LinkedIn.com clicks. That's LinkedIn.com clicks. Terms and conditions apply only on LinkedIn ads. If you've been following me for any amount of time, you know I always talk about as you're growing and scaling your company, the most important thing is finding the who, not the how. Who is the person that can help you drive more traffic. Who is the person that could be your CEO. Who is the person that could build your funnels? Understanding the who will dramatically speed up the growing and the scaling of your company. Now the best place to find the who's who can help you with your vision is Indeed. When it comes to hiring, the right who's Indeed is all you need. Indeed gives you the ability to stop struggling to get your job post seen on other sites because Indeed's got a sponsored job listing where you can stand out in front of your dream hires. With these sponsored jobs, your post jumps to the top of the page for your relevant candidates. That means your funnel builder is going to see it. That means the person driving traffic to your funnels is going to see it. It means your new CEO or CMO or whatever you're looking for is going to see the exact ad for your business as soon as they open up. Indeed. And that makes a huge difference. In fact, according to Indeed data, sponsored jobs posted directly on indeed have 45% more applications than non sponsored jobs. One of the things I love about Indeed is it makes hiring so fast. You can post the job and within minutes you're getting applications who are coming in looking to become the who inside of your business. Prior to that, I was often posting my help wanted ads on Facebook and Instagram and then getting tons and tons of responses from unqualified people who had no idea what they were doing. Whereas Indeed, again, they're only being seen by the exact person I'm looking to hire. Now with Indeed sponsored jobs, there's no monthly subscriptions. There's no long term contracts. You only pay for results. They may be wondering how fast is Indeed. Well in the Minute I've been talking to you. So far, 23 hires were made on Indeed across the Indeed network. So there's no longer need to wait any longer. You can speed up your hiring right now by going to Indeed. And listeners of the Show Get a $75 sponsored job credit to get your job more visible by going to indeed.com clicks just go to indeed.com C L I C K-S right now and support our show by saying you heard about Indeed on this podcast. I reached this point of no return. I was walking on a beach with my wife. We had taken a vacation. It was about six months, four months after this had happened. And any, like, any Jesus people. Yeah, cool. But I'm a Jesus person. And I was walking on the beach and I was praying about this. I was like, what am I supposed to do? You keep the. The best business consultant of all time is Holy Spirit. He's way better than. Than any of us. And I was like, what do you want me to do about this? And I feel like God spoke to me, and he was like, I want you to give these companies away. I was like, no, that's Satan rebuke you. It's not. Never. Not today. We had just gotten professionally evaluated for $78 million. It was a big deal. And he's like, give them away. And I said, I'll make a deal with you. If you tell my wife, I'll do it. And if not, you the devil. So we ain't doing it. Anybody relate with this, like, because, like, hearing from God ain't that hard. Obeying God. Very different. Very different. So I get home to my. The Airbnb that we're staying at, and I say, hey, Lindsay, I think God might have spoken to me, but probably not caveat. I feel like he told me to give the businesses away, like, completely. And she begins to cry. And I was like, yes. I knew this wasn't God. I said, well, it's okay. It's okay. We don't have to, you know, come here. Let me comfort you. And whatever. She said, no, no, no. God told me that you were going to have to do this two weeks ago. And I said, I'm not telling him. Anybody have. Make a deal with God. That backfires. Like, what was I doing? Negotiating with God. Said, okay. And the key, the trick to obedience. Let me tell you this real fast. I'm going to teach you something that will change everything about your life forever. The key to obedience or power, regardless of whether you believe in it or not, is you have to obey before you can talk yourself out of obeying. Like, it's like getting in a cold plunge, where you do not want to get in the cold plunge, but if you can just get in before your brain realizes that you're killing yourself in a cold plunge, then you're good. And so I just fired off an email. Some of you are feeling this way right now, like, this is what I need to do, but rationally, no, no, no, no. You just do it before you can talk yourself out of it, and your life becomes fruitful as you obey. Does it make sense? Yes or no? So I did this. I gave them all away. I sent the email, right? Then sent it to the attorneys, and then it all hell broke loose, and I had to test the lesson that I learned in the previous. You see what I'm saying? Like, you get the download, then you get to test the download. So everybody walks away from these conferences and, like, what'd you learn? Decisive move. Obey, invest. Well, you're gonna have to test that in your real life. That's how you get authority over the principle. Yes or no? You with me? Here's what I learned, is that the. The time between struggle and breakthrough can be skipped. It can be jumped. So we say jump. Why would you want to go through it? You can skip it. Why not skip it? So let's. Let's pivot. Can I go deeper? David Hawkins, one of my favorite authors, he wrote a book called Power vs. Force. Anybody read it? Power vs. Force. Force is not where you want to be. You want to be in the realm of power. Here's what he says. To be a success, it is necessary to embrace and operate from the basic principles that produce success, not just imitate the actions of successful people. To really do what they do, it is necessary to be like they are. Success leaves clues. It's true. We know this. We've been taught this. Tony saved us, and he taught us this principle. But the problem is, if success leaves clues, now we actually have to go back and find out what they were doing then to model that. Does this make sense? Yes or no? Sonja, how are you feeling? I'm good. We good? The struggle can be skipped. And the things that you think take 10 years can take six months. They can take a month. We're going to go deep into some of, like, quantum entanglements. Say quantum. You want to be real smart to your friends, Just be like, quantum. That's all you got to Say, who you voting for? Well, in the quantum world, it's already happened. So, Cha Ching, you are the smartest person. No, no, but I have to because we have to get off of this old linear system, which is. What is the linear system? 2 + 2 = 4. A equals B, then leads to C. It's like do, do, do, do, do. But in the real world, you can skip all of it if you know the rules. Real quick, turn to somebody next to you. If you're in the chat, say this in the chat. Tell someone something you've been waiting too long to have, but today you've made the decision that you gonna get it. Go for it. You guys got it done. You told the person next to you. All right, so let's break this down, let's speed it up. Somebody on the front said, I want to finish my yard. Let's round of applause for him for the honest answer. What'd you learn at clickfunnels while I learned how to do quantum entanglement to finish my front lawn? Epic. Epic. Alright, let's go a little bit deeper. Let's go a little bit deeper. Here's what I want to challenge you on a little bit. Challenge you on a little bit. When you can tell when somebody has a message to say, can't you? You sort of feel it. Okay, how can you tell? Yeah, how can you tell? They're expressing it, they're talking. Are they whispering it? Are they mumbling it? Okay, you guys got a message? You got something you want? Yes. Okay. When we turn to someone and we tell them, instead of going, how about we just actually tell them? Own. Own it. Own your power. I want to finish my lawn. All right, here we go. If we do jump into this new realm. So we have. We have this dichotomy happening. We have the first heaven, which is the physical realm. This is your touch, five senses, smell, taste. Everybody knows that. And then we have the second heaven, which is the world of the emotions, the thought, the soul. And then we have the third heaven, which is the realm of the spirit. All power starts in the spirit, communicates through the portal of the second heaven, which is your emotions, and then manifests in the first heaven. Did we get it? Okay, so you're like a spirit person in a body. Okay. So sometimes what will happen is if we want to activate Boom. Trigger the algorithm, what we have to do is we have to allow ourselves to feel. This is the. This is one of the most intelligent rooms I think I've ever been in. So thank you for Letting me be here. Like, I don't always say that. You can ask my team. Sometimes I'm like, oh, they dumb. We're going to have to. We're going to have to work up real hard to get them there. Proverbs 11 says, through knowledge the righteous are saved. So there's some utility in not being done. There's a lot of utility. You get God through all the Old Testament, he's like, my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. My people are destroyed through life. It's like, they're so dumb. Then you come to clickfunnels, meet Russell, and you get real smart. But we can't let the intellect overtake the spirit, because when the spirit meets the human analysis, we shut it down because we forgot how to feel. So anyone who's like saying, your feelings don't matter, it just means that they've achieved part, but not all. They've gotten close, but not all. Because what drives the human condition is getting the download from the spirit, which comes from right here. When you get here and you live here, everything speeds up. Say, speed up. All right, online. Are we good? Have I lost you? Are you still here? Okay. If you go into this realm, there are some things we have to believe about it and do. Just show of hands about permission to program a little bit. Like, do you trust me enough to go in and tinker. Okay, let's do this. I'm going to share some things. Failure in this realm, in the realm of the spirit. It says nothing about you. It's not a thing. Failure doesn't really exist in the spirit. Failure is what we have invented as humans to bring attribution to things we don't understand. Just like time. What is time? Albert Einstein is writing a letter to one of his best friends. He's losing his mind because his whole life he's been on the Newtonian train. And then he realizes that everything is chaos and there's. It doesn't follow the rules. And he's losing. He's going crazy. He sends a letter to his best friend and he's like, I don't know how to explain that. Time is a perception. The time is the same way humans invented time, so that we could experience little bits without messing up the whole thing. Does that make sense? You sure pay your dues. Doesn't exist in this realm. There's no such thing. You. You don't pay to play in this realm. You pay to position. You pay to position. And the payment is sacrifice. It's not always money, but sometimes it Is money. And you have unlimited tries. Some say unlimited. Anybody play video games? It's like you play and it's like, die, die, die, die, die, die. You make it expansion pack. Boom. Next level, you're willing to die like 20 times just to get the next fight. This is sort of similar in, like, the spirit world. Okay. There's no such thing as failure in the spirit realm. What there is, is. There is learning. So let me prove this to you and break it down. We're going to go to the slides. I'm actually doing a really good job using the slides. I feel like I may deserve a clap for that man. There's this one speaker, and he just, like, made everyone clap for himself the whole time. We didn't learn anything, but we clapped for him. You've got beliefs. Let me say belief. Belief is the driver of everything. Anybody ever experienced self sabotage, Man, I want to do this. I just can't get myself to do it. And I'm going to try again the next day. How many of you enjoyed for real Annie's story yesterday? Oh, my God. It's so powerful when you get to meet someone at the bottom because that's where you see them. That's where you see them. But you have belief. Belief drives everything. If you've experienced self sabotage, here's what you're experiencing. You're experiencing a value system that's only getting met by not moving forward. Makes sense. We too deep? You want me come back up? Stay here. Okay. If you believe that you can either be a good dad or have a big business. Do we see the problem? We have two value systems. Think about your high values antennas sticking up out of your head. They go out into the world and they attract certain things. You've got these, like, radar lidar systems. What your brain's gonna do in the spirit world is it's going to simultaneously try to attract both. It doesn't prioritize them the way you think they do. It's gonna say, hey, build the business. Boom. We build the business. We got it. We got it. Hey, be a good dad. You're failing. Boom. Gotta go back over here. Be a good dad. Hey, your business is failing. Boom. Switch back over here. And then 10 years go by and somebody's going back and forth, back and forth. Anybody ever felt this? No matter what I do, it's like I'm not moving forward. Two steps forward, one step back. One step forward, two steps back. You want to delete that? Eliminate it? Say yeah. Say yes, please, baby.
A
Yes, please, baby.

So here's how we do it. We have to change our belief. We can't just focus on behavioral modification all the time. My five year old, I walked into the living room the other day. Man, I'm glad God hasn't killed us all. Because as I learn how to parent my kids, sometimes I'm like, disappear. Like, she's in the living room and I walk through and we have a nanny. And I see her go on the nanny, and then he says, what did you do? She goes, she growled at her nanny like a little baby bear. I said, kate Wiles, her middle name is Wild. I said, apologize to your nanny. And she said, I'm sorry for hitting you. Behavioral modification, that ain't gonna work. That's not gonna work. But as business owners, that's all we do. We're like, if I do A, maybe I'll get to B. But if the identity doesn't change, then your antennas will just force you back. This is why God always changed people's name if they told him what to do. But he didn't change how they called themselves. It won't work. You have no command over the spirit. If you're using an old name for a new assignment. Makes sense. This is why it's really hard when you feel like you're going from one season to another. Because if you fall in love with your assignment, you will never be able to step into the. If you think your assignment is your identity, then you're going to have to drag that thing around like a ball and chain for the rest of your life. So we have to chase the identity, not the assignment. Does this make sense? Yes or no? You want me to keep going? Nugget? This is actually a pretty difficult room. I'm surprised. Surprised a little bit. You know, because you guys are just taking it all in and I'm like, do I have someone in my face or are you just listening? Because your brains are working the whole time. So I just. I respect your intelligence. At Capella University, you can learn at your own pace with our flexpath learning format. All right, belief. Somebody say belief. Next, next, next. Let me say next. We have our thoughts. Now, our thoughts are different than our beliefs. Here's why. Our beliefs tell us what to feel about our thoughts. Here's an example. Anybody been stuck in traffic? Yeah, bad traffic. Drivers. They should be illegal. You can't vote. You can't live here. It's awful. In Nashville especially, we got bad drivers. They're on like they're too slow. And if you're stuck in traffic, let's say you're on your way to a meeting, you're stuck in traffic. The thought you're going to have no matter what is, I'm gonna be late. True, but we don't feel until our thinking consults our beliefs. Because here's what we could believe. We could believe. I'm gonna be late. They're not gonna listen to me. I'm gonna get reprimanded. It's gonna be the worst thing that's ever happened. I'm probably gonna get a divorce because I'm gon. Well, then you're going to be honking your horn and shooting around like a devil. But if our belief is that, well, there's nothing I can do about it. Let's turn on some rb, some smooth Russell Brunson. Let's listen to the man. Let's listen to an audiobook. Let's learn. See, our beliefs, they actually, they tell us, how should I feel about this thing? Same thing happens with failure, by the way. So anybody, like run a promotion that doesn't work every day. And then what do you feel about it? Depends on how you believe. Because a lot of people, their belief system is I am what I have. And if your belief is I am what I have rather than I am what I am, then when you run something that fails, you begin to feel all of these things. Insecurity, disbelief, lack of self esteem. But if you believe something different, you get it, right? You get it. After your feelings, you have actions and actions run. Actions run the circuitry of the world. So these are your choices. How you behave is a loop. Draw it back, all the way back to your beliefs. This is why they keep talking about momentum, right? Momentum, momentum, momentum. Why do you want to stay in momentum? Because there's a loop. A circuitry activity goes back and it feeds the belief that drives Your feelings. This makes sense. Yes or no? There are only two things that you can do. The people at the top, there's only two differences. They can either do something different, or they can believe something different. And believing is what drives the doing. Does this make sense? Can we go deeper? You want me to keep going? All right, I'm gonna put two minutes on the clock for this one. I want you to go real deep on this. Raise your hand if you have something in your life that you regret fully and truly. Keep your hands up and look around the room real fast. Everybody without their hand up, don't do no JVs with them, okay? They're not being honest. We're going to do it again. If you've ever had anything in your life that you regret, hands up. Even King Myron. You have changed my life, though. Thank you. Give it up. All right, here's what I want us to do. I want to reprogram this so that instead of being dragged down by it, we can get power from it. Are we good with that? Yes or no? Two minutes on the clock. I want to write these things down. I want you to write down your regret. One story, one story only. Don't give me 100 things. And I want you to write down what you learned from it. Got it? Good. Let's go. Two minutes. All right, turn to somebody different that you haven't spoken to and tell them what is the good thing that came from this. And use your voice. Go ahead. Go for it. What happened? What's the good thing that you can pull from this? All right, we good? We good? Give me some snaps if you good. Want to keep going. All right. Love it. Thank you. Let's. Let's practice this for a second. I want to redefine regret for you if I can. And this is something that you might want to write down, because as we learn, I'm doing this on purpose. Like you're teaching yourself as you write these things down. So we're not just listening. We're actually teaching our own minds and spirits as we go through the motions on this. But there are countless people in history that if you delete the regrets, you delete the good things, too. People say, I wouldn't have kids if it wasn't for this person. And should I have married them? I wish I wouldn't have, but I can't delete my kids. And I love. So how many of you have heard, like, being fired from that job was the best thing that ever happened to me? You don't want to delete everything. But we want to delete the belief around it. So this is something you should write down. Your regrets are everything you had to do to become who you are supposed to be. Everything you had to do to become who you are supposed to be. Everything you had to do to become who you were supposed to be called to be anointed to be. We need to reframe this so that we can fix the past as we progress into the future. And you know what happens when you delete shame from the narrative. When you remove shame from the past, you automatically, accidentally, irrevocably delete anxiety about the future. Because in the future, here's what exists. Everything that has to happen to become who you were supposed to be. What's there to be afraid of? We don't think about it this way, but in a clinical sense. You have a color or a narrative from your past that is shaping the thought processes of your future. You can go into neurobiology, you can go into psychology. It's the same every. You can, you can go into string theory and quantum entanglement. It's all the same. As we reframe the past, we are reliving something that hurt us, but through the lens of something that benefited us. And when we do this, we gain the ability to pre live the future. Still with me? Because what's the future? It's just the past that hasn't happened yet because you have a man made construct past, present, future. We just printed something from the future into the past. And we just did it again. And we just did it again. You can't stop it, you can't slow it down. We just did it again. We just did it again. You catching it? The past is being printed into a neuro system that gives us recall. So, okay, let me break this down another way. If you could go into the future and see exactly what's going to happen, would you make more money? Like, who would have bought bitcoin in like 2010 or whatever? When did bitcoin get invented? 2009. I was bought in 2009. If we saw the future, we would have known. So there is a realm where we can actually get into this state. If we can get rid of the trauma of our past, we can remove the anxiety about our future. And in that we can control it. You want me to keep going? Turn to someone right now. Tell them something you're grateful for in your past because it had to happen for you to be who you are. Do it right now. Turn to somebody if you're in the chat. Throw it in the chat and tell me you are grateful for something and tell me what it is and why you are grateful for it. You want me to keep going? Go deeper? Okay. Yes, sir. You think I'm crazy? Yeah, I love the honesty. All right, so the mistakes of our past are really nature's research. This is what it is. As you print mistakes into the past, nature gets smarter. And so as you, as you explore, you test the boundaries. This worked. This didn't work. This hurt. This hurts. My one year old right now. He is a master at discovering everything that can hurt him. Like stairs. Amazing. The stove. I'll touch it. It's like, you know when you're a baby, it's pointy. Let's touch it as hard as we can. Like, what are you doing? But this is the way that research takes place. If you eliminated the mistakes, you just delete a body of research and you can't make good decisions. How do you learn to make good decisions? You make bad decisions and then make another decision. And you tune the algorithm. Is it making sense? I am grateful for the consequences of my choices. Turn to the person on your left. I am grateful for the consequences of my choice to turn the other person. I am grateful for the consequences of your choices. So there's a block here. Because if mistakes are nature's research, why are there so many people stuck in insecurity? Why are there so many people stuck and repeating the same self sabotage over and over? Like a loop going around the same mountain over and over? Anybody tired of going around the same mountain? It's like, man, I love this mountain. But we're good, let's move on. We can't go from one mountain until the next because our research doesn't print unless our meanings are correct. So what the body legitimately does is the body will keep bringing you the same data capsules over and over. Because like, if you talk to me in another language, I don't understand it. I don't get it. The doctor's speaking to me and she can tell I don't understand it. What she do keep repeating herself. Why he don't understand it? Like, where is the bathroom? Banyo, donde bano? Bathroom, Bathroom. Christine could help me out because she's Latino. Latina. What? Donde es el bano? But you know what I'm saying, You get the picture. Thank you for showing me up. You keep repeating it. Why? Because they don't understand. What can I do to get this person to understand? Life's the same way. Well, they went through this business. The business failed. There was something that they learned that was the wrong lesson. They gotta fail again. They don't understand the language. So we have to repeat it until the lessons are repeated. Until they're what? Lessons are repeated until they're learned. And so we repeat over and over. But it's not because we're dumb. It's because we're learning something. That's not the lesson. How many of you have gotten into a car accident? Raise your hands. How many of you walk everywhere and refuse to drive a car? Why? That would be a lesson. Cars are dangerous. I'm just going to walk to Las Vegas. Wrong lesson. Let me say wrong lesson. So this happens in business. I made an investment in this program. Didn't work, so I'm never going to invest another thing. Okay, well, every investment you make is going to fail until you learn the right lesson. So you can go a long time or the short time. You can do it quickly or you can do it the long way. Anybody familiar with the group of people called the Israelites back in the Bible? They go from one point to another point. It's about a 30 day journey, 38 days. Anybody know how long it takes them? 40 years. And we look at that, we're like, y'all are so dumb. It's like, well, you've been trying to do this for 10 years and you're still at square one. Aren't we the same? We don't have to. We can choose not to. But in order to do that, we have to learn the right lessons. What are you hearing me say? Talk to me. Talk to me. Talk to me. Talk to me in the chat. Talk to me now. What do you hear? Life happens for you. Not to you. I fixed it. What are you hearing? Don't learn the wrong lesson. Don't learn the wrong lesson. What else? Life will keep hitting you until you learn the right one. What about you? Lesson learned. Never repeats itself. Round of applause for yourselves because you're amazing. All right, we got four minutes. We got four minutes. We're going to do one more exercise and then we're going to wrap up. You good with that? I'm going to skip about 30 minutes because Garrett stole it. I'm just kidding. Garrett's probably watching this. He's going to beat me up tonight. Grizzly bear out of his cage. Let's do an experiment real fast, okay? I want to. We've touched the past. True. When you touch the past, you have to touch the future. The past, present, future. Is think about a long cello string. Okay. When you vibrate that string, is it vibrating at the top or the bottom? Yes. If you mute one side, is it muting the top or the bottom? Both. No sound comes out. For the cello players in the room, time is like this. So when you touch the past, you automatically touch the future. Oops. So I've just programmed a bit into your future. You can thank me later. It's going to be extraordinary because you have nothing to be anxious about, because there's nothing for you to feel shame about. But we've visited the past. Now we're going to visit the future. Are you ready for it? I want you to take 1 minute, 60 seconds, and I want you to write down your best case scenario for your life. Your business, your money, your kids. Pick one area, tell me what it looks like and what it feels like, and I've given you a picture to give you the warm and fuzzies. 60 seconds. Falling colors. You can go. So here's the secret to making all of this happen. And you can. I think there's some of this material inside of Brunson's stuff. So if you want to go deeper and you haven't joined, then I'm deeply sorry for your loss and figure it out, because we ain't. We ain't got time to go into it. But the secret to skipping zones, jumping levels, sometimes you'll go through seasons where 10 years happens in six months. What you don't want is you don't want six months to go by in 10 years. So we have to prioritize accordingly. The secret is we begin to make decisions that the person there would make because life, Life goes, hey, I don't really care what this person wants. What do they deserve, What. What actions demonstrate that they can hang on to the things that they're wanting to get. So this is all we have to do is we have to then isolate. You should practice this on the plain home. You should think about this. What types of decisions would this person make if they had 100 real estate properties or $60 million net worth, what would they do? And you slowly begin to make those decisions. Are we good? Russell, it's zero seconds. I'm going to wrap Taylor A. Welch if you want to follow me. I love you guys. Thank you so much. Y'all are the best.

Hey, this is Russell. I had a really cool offer for you right now. Shortly after we launched clickfunnels, I remember asking some of our top two comma club award winners, what would they do if they had everything taken away from it, they lost their name, their brand, their email list, their traffic, everything. All they had was a clickfunnels account and Internet connection for 30 days. What would they do over the next 30 days to get back on top? I asked over 102 comic club winners and from that, 30 people wrote me back and gave me very detailed step by step battle plans. Day number one, they would do this. Day number two, they would do this. And by the time the 30 days was done, they'd be back on top of the very successful business. Do you want to know what these people wrote? If so, I took all these 30 battle plans and put them inside of one book that you can get free at 30days.com. All you gotta do is go to 30days.com and go get a free copy of this book. We'll ship it out to you. Just cover the shipping handling. And when you get it in the mailbox, you have a chance to go through and look at all of these detailed step by step blueprints. All you gotta do is find one of these blueprints that you like, follow it step by step, and when you're done, you will have your own online business done and launched and live. So go get a free copy of one of my favorite books we've ever created at 30days.com. Again, that's 30days.com.
Podcast Summary: The Russell Brunson Show – Episode 27: "The Belief Shift That Made Taylor Welch Finally Break Through"
Release Date: April 16, 2025
In this compelling episode of The Russell Brunson Show, host Russell Brunson delves deep into the transformative journey of his esteemed colleague, Taylor Welch. Titled "The Belief Shift That Made Taylor Welch Finally Break Through," this episode unpacks the profound belief changes and personal growth that propelled Taylor to new heights in both his personal and professional life. Below is a detailed summary capturing all key discussions, insights, and conclusions from Taylor's powerful presentation.
Russell Brunson kicks off the episode by sharing his enthusiasm for Funnel Hacking Live International 9.5, a virtual event that bridges the gap between Funnel Hacking Live 9 and 10. This mini-conference hosted in a virtual studio accommodated about 300 in-person attendees and streamed to over 10,000 online registrants. Russell highlights one of the standout presentations by Taylor Welch, setting the stage for an insightful session.
Taylor Welch begins his presentation by emphasizing the choice between feeling threatened by greatness or being inspired by it.
Taylor Welch [02:45]: "When you encounter greatness, you can be threatened by it or you can be inspired by it. Pick one. Let's be inspired."
He draws parallels between biblical stories, specifically King David and his mighty men, to illustrate how authority and inspiration can act as multipliers in achieving success. Taylor underscores the importance of recognizing and harnessing authority to unlock potential.
Taylor shares his humble beginnings, detailing his early business struggles at age 24 with no financial resources:
Taylor Welch [07:30]: "I was 24 years old, had no money. We lived off of Taco Bell. Somebody say amen."
He recounts pivotal moments, such as his wife's encouragement to seek financial stability outside of church staff work, leading him to self-educate through books. A breakthrough came when he discovered Psycho-Cybernetics, which revealed his "program malfunction" stemming from childhood programming about money and success.
Taylor Welch [12:15]: "Things take as long as I need them to take, but no longer."
This mantra became a cornerstone of his belief system, helping him overcome financial hardships and scale his business rapidly.
Taylor delves into the profound impact of beliefs on personal and professional outcomes. He distinguishes between beliefs and thoughts, explaining that beliefs dictate how we feel about our thoughts and, consequently, our actions.
Taylor Welch [20:00]: "There are only two things that you can do. The people at the top, there's only two differences. They can either do something different, or they can believe something different. And believing is what drives the doing."
He emphasizes that changing one's identity—not just behaviors—is essential for lasting transformation. By redefining one's self-concept, individuals can break free from limiting beliefs and achieve their true potential.
Transitioning into practical strategies, Taylor introduces the concept of reprogramming one's beliefs to align with desired outcomes. He challenges the audience to identify and eliminate limiting beliefs that hinder progress.
Taylor Welch [28:45]: "If your belief is I am what I have rather than I am what I am, then when you run something that fails, you begin to feel all of these things. Insecurity, disbelief, lack of self-esteem."
Through interactive exercises, he guides listeners to confront their regrets and reframe past experiences as essential lessons that contributed to their current success.
Taylor engages the audience with transformative exercises aimed at shifting perspectives:
Identifying Regrets: Attendees are prompted to write down one significant regret and identify the lesson learned from it.
Reframing Experiences: He encourages transforming negative experiences into positive learning opportunities.
Taylor Welch [40:30]: "Your regrets are everything you had to do to become who you are supposed to be."
These activities are designed to help individuals let go of shame and anxiety, fostering a mindset geared towards continual growth and resilience.
In the latter part of his presentation, Taylor explores the interconnectedness of the past, present, and future. He likens time to a cello string, where muting one end affects the entire vibration.
Taylor Welch [48:00]: "When you touch the past, you automatically touch the future."
By redefining the perception of time and experiences, Taylor illustrates how altering one's relationship with the past can influence future outcomes positively. This holistic approach empowers individuals to take control of their narratives and steer their lives towards desired destinations.
As the presentation wraps up, Russell Brunson interjects with a final offer, encouraging listeners to access a free resource that compiles battle plans from Two Comma Club award winners. This resource aims to help entrepreneurs rebuild and scale their businesses effectively.
Russell Brunson [52:01]: "If you want to know what these people wrote, I took all these 30 battle plans and put them inside of one book that you can get free at 30days.com."
Taylor Welch [02:45]: "When you encounter greatness, you can be threatened by it or you can be inspired by it. Pick one. Let's be inspired."
Taylor Welch [07:30]: "Things take as long as I need them to take, but no longer."
