So you want to know how to batch out content for your social media and you're like, I don't know how to do it. I don't know what to do. I'm just creating content or I'm not creating content, but I know I need to be creating content. This episode is going to be for you. And if you don't know who I am. My name is Erica Kruipen and I'm the owner of Krupen Spooping Scooping and the host of the Scoop podcast. And I have been in business for a little over seven years, almost eight years. I don't know, I'm losing track. And I also have a social media company. I have built KPS Media off the heels of Croupin's Poopin Scoopin' and then from that I built. She built that with my business partner Trish. And Trish owns a real estate company and they have done a half a billion dollars in sales and we're just getting started baby. It's getting crazy. So I wanna talk about content batching. So grab a delicious beverage and let's chat.

Before we hop into that, you know I got brand sponsors so I wanted to show you the Poop Scoop Millionaire. There's a couple things I want to talk about here. This is their Facebook page that we are looking at and I create content over on this channel for for the Poop Scoop for the poop scooping business and then also for the school community over in school which is the Poop Scoop Millionaire. But here's what I wanted to show you. So here's a post for the PSM group. They do expert calls every single week where they do live trainings. There's also Poop Scoop speed dating that Mike cast in Scoop Daddy. He himself hosts that. There's a bunch of content of me YouTube videos. That's not what I'm trying to get to. I'm actually trying to get to to. Let's go to this video right here, here's this picture. They have recently released their, their ad, their services where they can build websites. They also do Google Ads and they also do Facebook ads. So it's. And like I said, builds, builds the websites. So this is like done for you stuff. I believe it's called PSM services. Excuse me for stuttering over my words. Also, I wanted to show you ScoopCon. ScoopCon 2026 is official. It is going down in Dallas, Texas. It is going to be October 2nd and October 3rd. This is a two day event. There's general admission and there is VIP. VIP is very limited, so first come, first serve. We will include all of those links down below. But I wanted to, I wanted to share that with you. And then also so right here, if you're kind of like new to the business and you're just kind of trying to figure this out, what to expect when you are like, when you earn money poop scooping, 10 clients will be 850amonth, 25 will be 2000, a little over 2000amonth. 50 clients is 4250amonth. And when you have a hundred clients, you're looking at 8,500amonth in recurring revenue, which is amazing. So a lot of potential here with recurring revenue. That was a little bit of a rough screen recording, but this is real time, real business and I'm not going to really shoot that again. So definitely check out the Poop Scoop millionaire. I would love to see you at ScoopCon. And if you're not able to go to ScoopCon, I totally understand. But definitely give Poop Scoop billionaire a check out. And it's just a lot of resources that are going to help you easily. Also Jobber, that's the field management software that I used to run, grow and manage my small, hopefully not small, small for too long. Pooper scooper business is where I do all my customer communication, my routing, my reports, all the good stuff. And then also Quo. Quo is the phone system that I'm using for my business. So instead of me just having one physical phone like this, this is not a phone but just one phone to be able to answer. I can, we can have apps on our phone and many people can manage the phone lines. And when you're putting a lot of money into ads and you're going to get a lot of people calling and you need to be able to answer those phone calls because you don't want that money to go to waste. Okay, cool, cool. So we are on the heels of creating, we are on the heels, it's more like I decided I wanted to make a video talking about brand partnerships because I was just coming off of a brand partnership myself. So it was fresh in mind. It's something that I can talk about right now. So instead of jumping around from topic to topic, I was like, you know what? For the month of May, I'm just gonna create content about the social media stuff. Because me as a content creator, whatever's on my mind is what's easiest for me to talk about. I don't really have to look at a ton of notes because it's already there. You know what I'm saying? Like, I'm already thinking about it, so I might as well just talk about it. And I'm trying to become a better content creator and more cohesive and just make this whole experience easier on me. So last week I think we talked about your platform. Where do you want to post who you're talking to and being smart about it? And like, my experiences and the confusion with Krupen's poop and scoop in business versus the brand for, like, the influencer brand. So on today's episode, I want to talk about batching content out. And it's so funny because when I put this in a Claude, it was like how I batch content in two hours so it doesn't run my life. That is never. Not once happened. Never. Not once. It is one o', clock, okay? And I started recording my content at like 9. This is my third video for my channel. And then I recorded another Wednesday video. So I've recorded four videos so far. And I have this one and another one to record. And then I'm done with like, my personal stuff. Okay? None of that got happened. None of that was done in two hours, okay. Mainly because, one, I didn't have it prepped and prepared. So I'm kind of like prepping it, then recording it. It just seems to work for me. So if I prep a video, I record it, it's fresh in mind and it's consistent. So here's what I wanna say. When you are trying to figure out how you wanna plan out your content. And this applies if you're just trying to do it for your own business page too. Say for instance, it's like you're not really trying to be a content creator, but you kind of have to be a content creator when you're creating content for your business. I mean, it's kind of one of the, like, necessary evils, but you're just creating content for your specific Audience, look at it, look at what's going on. Are you in the field? Are you out scooping? Yes. Great. Then you have access to so much content. You can record so much. You can grab your tripod, you can grab your phone, you can grab one of these mirror things. This allows you to use the back camera and to be able to see your shot when you're away from the camera. Let me know if you want me to talk about this. I'll include a link down below to my Amazon store and then also a microphone right here. This is super helpful. So those are kind of like the tools that you need. Okay. You have to figure out what are you going to post, what do you want to talk about? So let's narrow this down. I don't actually have the notes that I should to narrow this down because I felt like if I started writing the notes down, I was going to get tired and I wasn't going to want to record this video. So we're just literally coming off my brain here. Okay, what do you want to talk about? What do you want to highlight? If you are speaking to your customer, what are the key things that you want to highlight? You want to highlight what you do well, okay, if you have closed gate photo pictures that you send, you're going to want to talk about your closed gate photos. You're going to want to show that in reels. So you're going to want to physically show that. Right. And this would look like you having your tripod set up, you walking out of the yard, closing the gate. And then you might have to get another phone or a fake phone or something and take a picture. I have two phones, so I can do this, show myself taking a picture of the closed gate photos. You can take a screenshot from that video and then text overlay it. Closed gate photos after every visit. That's a social media post. You could do a carousel. A carousel is where you have like three to five photos, maybe a little bit more of if you have a lot to write, if you want to say something along, like, you'll have different photos and you want to say something along the lines of why closed gate photos are super important. Boom. That's. That's one image with writing on it. Then the next image is going to be something along the same storyline. Right. And you say the security of your dogs and, and your children means everything to us. And I know it means a lot to you. Whatever you want that verbiage to say, why we do it and what to expect. So you're creating a carousel. So you're creating three pieces of content off of that one post. So that is showing people exactly about the closed gate photo. Then you could stagger it. You could either post that all week one and then week two could be about if you haul the dog waste away, why you haul it away. And if your competitors don't haul the waste, you could throw some shade at them. Our competitors don't haul the waste away, but we do. And you could show yourself hauling it away. I personally don't love showing photos of me double bagging it and putting in the homeowner's trash can. I don't want to highlight that. And I also don't highlight my pricing because I'm expensive. So I'm not gonna talk about my pricing. But if you're, you know, if you're a cheap Charlie, you're a budget Bob. And you can offer those lower rates. Cause you're just getting started. Or that's just how you operate. Yeah, yeah. Promote that kind of stuff. You can do it in a video, something trendy. Take a screenshot from that video, make it into a static post. So yes. Figure out what you want to highlight. Pick like three to five things. Keep it simple. Right. Even five might be too much. Just three. Right. Talk about the areas that you service. And if you really want to grow a specific area, all of your content needs to be like, say for instance, for me, if I really want to focus on Westland, I'm going to be like, now serving Westland. Proudly serving, servicing Westland. 150 happy clients in Westland. Closed gate photos after every service in Westland, Michigan. And I'm tagging in there. You could even stand in front of like your city sign, stuff like that. So you're just like posting, posting, posting about that specific city. And you're just creating different types of content that's around the same topic. So it's you're creating a reel, you're creating a static post, or you're creating a carousel. And you could do a mixture of three of the three, all three of these. Or you can just choose one that you're really, really, really good at. And then just show your work. Show what you're doing. Scooping dog poop's a little bit difficult because it's not really satisfying. It's truly not satisfying. Like somebody that's installing a pool or cutting grass and making that cache, it's not nearly as satisfying. But just figure out your little tweaks. You could record yourself literally working and Then you do a voiceover with a microphone like this, explaining what you're doing. Okay, so we got that figured out. Let's do a recap because I feel like I just ranted a lot. You're gonna choose your deliverables. Okay? Your deliverables are gonna be a reel, a static post, which is like a picture or a carousel. And a carousel is basically a few static posts grouped together where you can swipe. Okay, stay tuned to my social media because my. We have a new social media strategy and that's gonna be launching here in May. So let me know what you think. And that's over on the Croupin's Poopin Scoopin business page. Cause we're really locking that in. Okay, so now we're gonna pick your pillars, your topics, what it is that you're gonna be talking about. You're gonna be highlighting certain features. Pick those key features and just keep talking about them. Talk about them in a reel. Talk about them in a post. Talk about them in a carousel. Talk about them in just a text word post where there's no image with it. Keep highlighting those things. Okay? Secondly, how often are you going to post? Can you post one time a day? Ideally, it would be great if you could post one time a day, but if you can't and you can only post one time a week, start there. If you can only post one time a week, figure out what you want your deliverables to be. Is it a photo? Can you do a photo one time a week? Great. Post it. Keep it consistent. Ideally one time a day. So if you can do a reel, you can do a static post, you can do a carousel, then you can do a static post and a reel, however you want to mix and match that. And then as for your time, doesn't matter. Pick a time that's convenient for you. Like for me, my first post, when I'm at the gym before my trainer gets there. So I'm on the treadmill walking at like 4:45. That's when my first social media post is going out. Because that's when I have time to post. Doesn't matter. It doesn't matter what time you post it. And sometimes my second post or third post of the day, I don't have time to post it until I lay down in bed. So that's when I post it because I don't schedule those out on your business page. You can schedule your content out, but I do recommend you do a mixture of scheduled content, which you can do in the app which if you want to know how to schedule content out, we can talk about that. But I'm not going to do that. In this video, I like to have schedule content with organically native posted content. I like to have that mixture. And it does perform differently. It does. And then respond back to your comments. So you post it, you get one person that responds, comments on it, respond back to them. Respond back to them with a question to keep the conversation going. Because you want to have conversations in the comments. So keep the conversation going and just keep doing that. And if something performs really, really well and it pops and you're getting a lot of engagement, put some ad dollars behind it. And that's where you can actually go over to the Poop Scoop millionaire for PSM services and you could talk to them and they could get your Facebook ad set up. So that was a nice little plug, wasn't it? I think that was really good. I think I'm really. I'm getting. I'm getting a lot better at this whole, like, naturally positioning the sponsors. Hey, that's so funny. Mainly because they really helped me out. They really, really helped me out. This spring rush, my Facebook stuff was just not very good. So it's much, much better. Okay, so we're doing all that. You might be like, okay, how do I create reels? You just pick up your phone and you create videos. You just pick up your phone and create a video in Instagram. If you have your Instagram and your Facebook linked, it's a lot easier to do them in Instagram because you can download this app called Edits. And then you can do like edits over there. You can add text overlays, you can add captions. You can put like little filters on it. Because there's some times where I look bad, I look really bad. And so I'll put a little Paris filter on there to make me look not so bad. Cause I'll be like, girl, you look like you ain't slept in 900 years. And Paris just makes me look like I slept a little. And I love that for us. And then you can just post that on Instagram. And if you have your Instagram linked to your Facebook, it can just boop. Post over there. If you don't have that, that's okay. You can get an app called Inshot, which I like Inshot. You do have to pay for it. It's easy to edit. Facebook editing is. I think it's garbage. I don't know. I haven't figured it out. It's no Good. So either do the editing over in Instagram or get another app called Inshot to do your editing. As for your static posts, Canva. Canva works really, really well, and you can create templates over there. So then that way, when you create your brand kit, which we did a video about the brand kit a few episodes ago, May, if you could, could you please link that video and tag that up here somewhere for the tag videos so you can watch that. After you're done watching this video, don't leave this video or don't leave this podcast. Then that way you can just plug and play your visuals that you took from your phone. And if you take a video, you can take screenshots and turn that into a photo, and you can put that into Canva and then just download that and post. Takes time. It takes a lot of time and it takes a lot of effort. But if you treat this side of your business like a media business, you know that one, you're developing skills. And two, eventually it's all going to compound. You know, when I first started doing this, I didn't know what I was doing. But now, you know, now it's turned into something else eight years later. And it's good, but it's just got. You got to take the time unless you have money, unless you got money to pay to people to do it. And that's a whole different story. That's a whole different ball game. All right, so I think. I think that's it. This one's gonna be a shorter episode. Where are we at? 15 minutes. Is there anything else I can talk about? Oh, yeah, I'm trying to cut this episode short. So we talked about the creation part of it. Okay. It's created secondly, not secondly. Whatever the next step is create yourself a Google Drive and have that attached to your phone. You could keep all this stuff in your phone if you're able to organize it. I personally cannot, for the life of me, I cannot organize this stuff in my phone because my phone is just a mess. I get so overwhelmed. I just go ahead and delete all everything off my phone. Text messages, files, emails, pictures. It's all gone. It's just. It's a distant memory, which probably isn't the best, but if I don't keep on top of it, I get overwhelmed. I just start deleting everything. So what's good to do is create a Google Drive that is Facebook content, right? And then you go ahead and you create a folder so you could have a. Like a social media asset folder. These Are like your staples. These are pictures and videos that you're going to use over and over and over again. Choose like five right staples that you're going to use this picture constantly. It's a good picture, it does well. And then you can just plug and play different overlays, different text, different words on top of it. You have that and then create another folder that says the month. So for me I have like, because I've been doing this for a long time, I have the years. So like I have 2024, 25, 26. So I have 2026, then I go into 2026, then I have the month. Okay. Then within there I have week one, week two, week three, week four. Then I open that up and I put all of my content in there that is going to be posted on said day. And then I take those links, the link to the folder and I put that onto my Google Calendar. So, so then that way I open up my Google calendar and at 10 o' clock or 4 o' clock or whatever time it is, and I'm supposed to be posting content, whatever time, I can just click the link, it opens up the folder and I can just post the piece of content. Yep. And if I haven't batch created all of that stuff and it's time to post, I just gotta think of something to record and I just gotta think of something to post. And then that gets really like, I don't know, exhausting because you're always just creating content all the time and we have real businesses that we need to focus on, so we have to do that kind of stuff, you know, and then you can promote it, then you can share it on your personal Facebook page. You can share it into groups, you can tag friends and family that probably won't share it and then just repost that stuff. If you're proud of it and it's good, save it, repost it. There's no point of having to recreate stuff over and over and over and over and over again. Just keep sharing it and keep reposting it. And so that's how I batch record content. Realistically, it doesn't take two hours. Sometimes it takes way longer than it should. Like today I'm batch recording content. It is 1:16. It's almost my hot girl walk slash nap time because I'm tired. I have one more episode that I need to record, but my energy level is getting really, really low and I'm getting spacey and I'm tired, so I probably will not be able to finish today's content. Maybe I will do one later on. I'm not too sure. Anybody want me to take a house? Okay. Ray got done early. I had moved some houses off of her over to Charles because I wanted to make sure she was getting done within her six hours. Okay. All right, well, thank you so much. I appreciate you. I hope that you're liking these videos. If not, I'll be able to tell them the algorithm and then I won't make them again. I so until next time. Bye.
