I love the Netflix hit series Selling Sunset. It is so good. I get sucked in. And today we get to sit down with Bri Teasy. She is a real estate agent at the top of her game, a mom and the star of Netflix hit series Selling Sunset. She's also an investor and a business consultant. In this episode, Bri opens up about the real behind the scenes of her show. Her non negotiable personal values, real estate and the truth about building a career in real estate. She also talks about motherhood and life beyond the camera. Bri, welcome to the him and her show.
Lauren Everts
This is the Skinny Confidential.
Bri Teasy
Him and her.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
The breakout star of Selling Sunset is on the show. I told you off air. I'm a big fan.
Bri Teasy
You did. Thank you. I watched it.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
I have been watch, binge watched it. I actually binge watched it in Vegas when you were out gambling. I'm like, I'm just gonna sit here and watch the whole season by myself. It's therapeutic.
Lauren Everts
Well, I like watching the shows, but she watches them on her iPad. And I've decided that any show, like any reality show, when it's. When you can't see it and you just hear it. Yeah, it's crazy. Cause you know, you hear the music and the transitions all the time. Drives me nuts. So then I went down on a gambling bender.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
But you know, what makes you decide to get into reality television? Because it is a lot of work.
Bri Teasy
Honestly, I've always just. Everyone I was around was like, you need to do tv. You need to. And I was like, why? I don't know. And it kind of just kept coming up and I don't think I really decided. I felt like I was just. It was brought up so many times that I was like, you know what? I feel like I'm supposed to do this at this point because it's like the fifth time. And I mean, I'm quick, I'm witty, I'm with all the stuff. So. So I was like, if it makes.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
Sense, tell us about the behind the scenes of what it actually takes and what the audience doesn't see and doesn't know.
Bri Teasy
Yeah, I think that people don't understand that it's really like a 10, 12 hour day. It's like from getting up in the morning. I do live in Calabasas and everything is more so, you know, over here on Sunset and everything. So for me to get up in the morning, it's two hours of glam. At least an hour and a half to two hours with traffic to drive here to be there by nine, 30 or 10. And then I gotta film at least until like six, six. And then it's the two hours back and then it's like I barely make it to put my son to bed and be with him. So there's like a lot. It's a full day and effort.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
How many days a week?
Bri Teasy
At least four.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
And it's not only just the work, it's also the emotional energy. I would think of what it takes to be around the fighting and the cattiness. Like, does that take a toll on you? I mean, it feels like there's like you, you'd be exhausted.
Bri Teasy
You are, you are completely exhausted. Like, it's a completely different, you know, than being the physical or workout or even just, you know, I don't. It drains you in a different level for sure. And I think it's really hard to kind of recalibrate from that. It's not an easy bounce back. And like when you do it for like three months, six months at a time, you're like, okay, yeah, we don't usually talk to each other in between. Cause we really need that reset. And it's not even like we're mad at each other or whatever. We're just like, girl, I don't wanna see you. I just need a break. I love you, but I'll see you in a couple months.
Lauren Everts
How much are you able to like separate what happens on the show from when you take, when you go home?
Bri Teasy
We cannot, we do not. I think unfortunately with our show we are this batshit crazy. Every single person on here and these things are real. So it is really hard to turn it off because it's actually happening. It's not like scripted like everyone thinks it is. So when you know this one's calling you this and this one's going over here, you do take some of that home with you. I think I'm personally better at not taking it home because I don't necessarily care as much. But a lot of the girls have really let it get to them. And I think that this season you see that people start really showing that they're affected.
Lauren Everts
Do you think you guys, I'll use your terminology, would be as batshit crazy with each other if you Were working together, but without cameras. Do you think? Or do you think you would.
Bri Teasy
Yes.
Lauren Everts
Yes. You do?
Bri Teasy
Yes. Okay.
Lauren Everts
So the cameras just happened to be there, but you would all be batshit crazy fighting with each other regardless.
Bri Teasy
Yes, I do think. Obviously, those things are heightened. And obviously, you know, when you're put in situations where you're kind of forced to be with each other for an extended amount of time and things that are. Happen. We're women. We naturally get into it, I feel like. But I think, too, it's a perfect recipe for disaster, because, you know, when they bring these women together, they're looking for certain personalities. They're looking for certain things, and so they kind of know off hiring who's going to get along, who's not going to get along, and they kind of see those things already.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
One thing that I liked about you as a viewer is that it's. It's a lot of feminine energy in the office, obviously, But I feel like there, even though you're so beautiful and you're glam and all that, you do have, like, a masculine energy, too. I feel that. And I think that was, like, a nice balance to the show. Is it hard to, like, get into the cattiness when you do have that sort of, like, masculine energy where you just want to. You.
Bri Teasy
Yeah.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
Be chill.
Bri Teasy
Yeah. I think that's kind of been the hardest thing, because I'm, like, zero to a hundred, so I'm kind of like, oh, okay, you're not gonna let off me now. I gotta go here with it. But it's like, I don't naturally. I don't naturally go that way. Like, I'm not, like, somebody that's petty and catty and, like, all of those things. And I think that on the show, you see that I am always backed into a corner, and then I'm finally like, all right, bitch, can I cuss here?
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
Yeah.
Bri Teasy
Oh, okay. Sorry.
Michael Bostic
Yeah.
Bri Teasy
I was like, let it run. I was like, all right, let's let it run. Like. And then it's a different. Cause I feel like normally in real life, women don't push you as much, and I think they kind of read the room, and it's kind of like I'm always. That's why I've always said I'm not a girl's girl. I think just because my energy is a little bit more masculine. So women, I don't know, they act funny with me, but I very much, very loyal. I am a girl's girl at heart. I just have a lot of masculine energy. And I'm way more chill than majority.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
Before you came on the show, did you know that the girls were going to come for you for your relationship with Nick Cannon?
Bri Teasy
Of course.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
So you knew. You were like, before you go on, you're like, this is what they're going to come for me for. This is my list.
Lauren Everts
Just because of the relationship. Like, that's a qualification to be come.
Bri Teasy
For, according to them. Yeah. I mean, I think when you do reality, you kind of have to know that whatever dirty laundry you have is going to be what people come for, and you have to be prepared for that. And I'm somebody that just lives out loud, and there is anything you can say about me that I haven't said or would say or claimed from my past. So it can't really be used against me, per se. But I think that, you know, with Chelsea, initially, she thought that that narrative was gonna go well for her. And I think that when people got to know me and the more I was on the show, they were like, she's her own person. This isn't like, it's none of your business. And I actually had a lot more support publicly because of her dragging me so hard. And people were like, why are you. Why do you care? You know? Which, at the end of the day, why does anyone even care anyways?
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
So that's what's so interesting to me about it, is why does anyone care if you have 10 baby daddies, one baby daddy, if he has 10 baby mamas? Like, I don't really. I don't really understand how that affects them. And I feel like one thing that I liked about you is that you owned it. It's so interesting this week. Everyone who has come on our show this week have been people that own who they are a hundred percent, and they don't care what anybody thinks. And that almost, like, it almost like, takes the air out of their sales that you're owning it.
Bri Teasy
Yeah.
Michael Bostic
And you were.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
You weren't, like, mad. You weren't sad. You were just like, this is who I am. I'm with him, and it works for us.
Bri Teasy
Yeah.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
What was that like? To just, like, take. Take the air out of their sails?
Bri Teasy
I think I've just always been like that. I'm very like, this is what it is. I don't really care. Like, take it or leave it. Fuck off. I'm. I'm gonna do me regardless. And, like, nothing you say can affect me in any way, because I am genuinely happy. I think that people that put on that facade and Pretend that they're happy and deep down aren't. That's when they can take the wind out of your sails. So it's like, I just. I. I was happy that it was, you know, perceived, and people really saw that. That's genuinely where I stand and that it. Some of that away. But for me, it was like she really shot herself in the foot. And I just. You know, I always just did me. So I'm like, you can't lose like that.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
And are you and Nick still together now?
Bri Teasy
Yeah.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
And do you see it on the show?
Bri Teasy
No.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
No. But did they try to come for you still on this?
Bri Teasy
No, that's. That's ended. Thank God that's over. I'm sure whatever new girl or whoever might at some point, but, like, that seems to be the only thing that anyone comes after, but. Yeah, no, I just don't really care to show that aspects. I just don't think it's necessary.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
I get it.
Bri Teasy
I get it.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
I'm pretty protective about our kids on social media. Like, I want. I'm purposeful about it. I'll show snippets, but I don't, like. I don't want the whole thing. Throwing them on a reality show would be really intense.
Bri Teasy
Yeah, it's a lot.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
And listen to each their own, but that's. It's like you can't really control the narrative.
Bri Teasy
No, no.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
When you decide to do another season after the season that you just had, is that a big decision?
Bri Teasy
Yes. Yes and no. I feel like the one after season seven when I was like, fuck this show. I'm never coming back. I hate you all. I'm out. Like, I just felt like they were completely twisting narratives. Like, Chelsea was full on making up stories that, like, I didn't know about things with my own partner. Just, like, stuff that I was like, okay, if we continue down this path of just, like, blatant lies that you guys are allowing to air, like, we worldwide, like, I'm not gonna continue to do this. There's one thing to, like, have drama and have things occur and have to deal with the backlash, but to absolutely lie on me and tell me that I just have to accept these narratives. I was like, I'm not doing it. So. And you're talking about my personal life and people that have nothing to do with this show. And that's not even like, you know, the type of show that we're doing is. It's not a housewife show. You know, it's supposed to be real estate.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
So, like, what did the producer say, when you say there's being blatant lies that are being told about me, you.
Bri Teasy
Know, they say, like, well, we just follow the storyline. That's what she said happens. And I'm like, well, why was it that it was never brought to me and there was never an interview and no one ever told me, and I see it on air.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
So you sort of stood up for yourself.
Bri Teasy
Absolutely.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
And so how do you go into the next season? Do you have to, like, negotiate it in your contract?
Bri Teasy
Basically, like, draw the line. This is what it is. And I think they knew me well enough at that point to know that, like, if whenever they played with me in any way, I just wouldn't show up.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
You seem like someone who's really good at setting boundaries and not bending.
Bri Teasy
Yes.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
Have you always been like that?
Bri Teasy
Always? Yeah.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
What are.
Michael Bostic
What.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
Where did this come from? Is this something, like, instilled in you from your parents?
Bri Teasy
I think it was just growing up, like, the way that my mom was and everything was like, when no was no, it was no. And there was no like, can I please, can I do this? And so I kind of just learned that no really means no. And I applied that advice today.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
I was like, you want a Skittle?
Lauren Everts
We have this debate all the time.
Bri Teasy
Really?
Lauren Everts
I was like, yeah, because I grew up with the same kind of mother. There was. There was no. There was no gray area. Like, I didn't even try.
Bri Teasy
No.
Lauren Everts
It was just like, it's not happening.
Bri Teasy
It was black and white. And you were like. And you knew beforehand. You're like, I shouldn't even try. I knew it. I won't. Yeah.
Lauren Everts
My mother was also a black belt in Tung Soo Do. She would do this weird thing where she would twist my arm and, like, drop me to my knees.
Bri Teasy
Oh, my God. I love that.
Lauren Everts
It's kind of abusive, I think now, I guess not to say it out loud, but. But it was like, yeah, it's fine.
Michael Bostic
It's fine.
Lauren Everts
A different time. Different time.
Bri Teasy
It really was.
Lauren Everts
It doesn't happen anymore.
Bri Teasy
My mom got the shoe, the belt, the whole thing. The spoon. The spoon was wooden spoon. Oh, yeah. We had to pick it. If you came back with some. Something else, she'd be like, try again.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
What advice do you have for someone who's negotiating any kind of contract? You're obviously in real estate, and with your contract that you're doing with selling Sunset, what. What are the boundaries and the ramifications that you think about when you're negotiating?
Bri Teasy
I think the number one, it's Funny.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
We.
Bri Teasy
We just had this.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
I know.
Bri Teasy
I think for me, it's more of, like, having the knowledge and being aware, truly of what you're signing and what you're asking for and the things that, like, can be negotiated and things that you're willing to bend on. Like, you need to know all of those things going into it. And then if it's really something that you don't wanna do, you have to be okay walking away. Like, you have to be okay saying that and stepping away from the situation, which I've done a ton of times, so. And it sucks. Cause you see the dollar signs, you see the opportunity, but if you don't have those boundaries, then it's like we.
Lauren Everts
Just had a whole thing in the front lobby. Lauren. I had. There's a release thing, which I hate to be involved in. Luckily, the man manager looks tough. He might almost. I thought he was gonna slug me for a second.
Michael Bostic
But.
Lauren Everts
No, I mean. But the good on this podcast, we're not gonna lie on you.
Bri Teasy
Yeah.
Lauren Everts
You know, we're not gonna do it. I'm just gonna. We make people do them now. Because the problem in this space, because it's not like scripted or television, is you have great guests come on and you do a whole thing and then they leave. And like, oh, I didn't want to say that. Or I just canceled the whole thing. It's like, we just took all the time.
Bri Teasy
So that's why. But no, no, that's fine. We had that discussion too. It's not that kind of podcast. Okay. Thank you.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
This isn't a gotcha podcast.
Lauren Everts
No, we're interested in you, the person. I think that's what this show is about. And not like, trying to. Yeah, you know, that's like. There's other shows that are like that.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
Speaking of the real person, let's. I want to understand the real estate of it all. So are you. When you guys go on this show, are you actual real estate agents? Did you guys do the normal tests and everything? So before you came on the show, were you selling houses? Normally, yeah.
Bri Teasy
So when I started, I got my license in. Was it 2016? Got it all blurs together at this point. 2016. And I was kind of transitioning from bottle service in Vegas, and I had all these clients, and I was like, what am I going to do with all these people? And when I was working in Vegas, I was. Yeah, I was like, I need to utilize them because these are the money people. You know, I was like, the people that want to go spend thousands on a bottle. And so I was like, I need to utilize this further. And so I was already sending people for rentals or whatever it was. And I'm like, why do I keep giving these contacts away to other people to make money? So then I got the license and I kind of held onto it and I had moved back to LA full time and I started slowly dipping my into it. And then the first year that I really tried, I did 20 million and then I had my son. So I've been like, you know, I'm in, I'm out, you know, and it's kind of like a hard thing with the market. But it's also now being a mom, it's. Real estate is so much work and there's so much time that goes into it where you may never see a dollar. Like I had the client that I did sell the 17 million dollar home to, it took me two and a half years. So it's like. And that was me showing him before I even had my license. And so I was like bringing him with a friend of mine and then I switched. It's, it's a lot. It's not just like, you know, you get all these people overnight and. No.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
Well, what are some other misconceptions about real estate that people wouldn't know?
Bri Teasy
I think that people think that this can be like a side hustle, right? Like it's not a side hustle. This is a full time career. And you know, once you've built what that entire name of business and people know you for that and trust you and come to you, it's a little bit easier. And you can also like have other people work under you and things like that. But this is definitely a full time business. It's not part time at all.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
And so with all the girls, do they all have to have their real estate license?
Bri Teasy
Yes.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
So you. So there is actual business being made?
Bri Teasy
Yes.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
And when you guys show the houses on the show, is it like a fake situation or is it real?
Bri Teasy
Well, we do have situations where let's say I have a client that isn't comfortable showing their actual home, then we will get a home that is not theirs to show so that they're comfortable. It doesn't mean that the sale isn't necessarily real, but there are a lot of people that aren't comfortable showing you the entire inside of their home and all the stats and all of their stuff. So you know, they'll do situations like that. But that's the extent with selling a.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
$17 million home, you've obviously been around homes that are crazy and extravagant. After being able to see all this, what do think is a smart investment when it comes to real estate?
Bri Teasy
Well, it depends on where you live for sure. But here I, I think that it also depends on, you know, your taste and expectations. And I think that with the market in LA you're talking about, you kind of want to have a home that has everything. They have like, you know, a basketball court, they had a movie theater, like all of the amenities. If you were really going to spend. I think I feel like the sweet spot for most clients is like 3.5 to 5 million ish, and then once you go above 6, they're pretty crazy.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
So if you were looking in, in California, like, what are, what are the things besides that if someone's looking between three and five that they should look for, like, are non negotiables, do you think?
Lauren Everts
And have the, like speaking of the fires have, has that impacted some of the purchasing power? Some of the buyers, like people are people looking less or people now saying there's an opportunity or it's like, no.
Bri Teasy
I feel like it's dead now. I feel like right after it happened, it was crazy, but there was a lot of gouging and stuff that was being done by landlords. They were basically doubling and tripling, you know, their rent and they were doing things that are not legal. And there was actually agents that were getting penalties and getting in trouble for that as well, because you know the market value. So you should not even entertain that or bring a client to that or allow that. And some people were just desperate, so they were trying to pay more to get into something because everyone was scrambling.
Lauren Everts
Around trying to find a replacement.
Bri Teasy
I mean, imagine everything you have burns down overnight. You have kids, you have animals, you have whatever. And you're like, what are we supposed to do? So I think that. And then knowing that it's happened to so many people, you're like, okay, there's only so much inventory in California or like these prime areas you want to be in. So, like, how do we just secure ourselves? And I think that that was the desperation for people to pry on. That was kind of crazy.
Lauren Everts
It's sad. Funny enough, we flew in the very day those fires were happening, not knowing. We got rerouted a bunch of times and we're recording with Tony Robbins, of all people. And we were sitting over there and I looked out the window and it was just black. And we were staying in a hotel and we ended up leaving actually early because there were so many people panicking, trying to get a room like this. It's not right for us to kind of be here taking. So we left. But that was. That was crazy. It was like the whole city. You weren't here. Yeah, it was just people of traffic trying to get out of the city. And it was scary.
Bri Teasy
Yeah, it was really scary. It was a lot. We haven't seen anything like that. So that was. It was beautiful to see how our city really did pull together. And a lot of that we do get to showcase on the show, which was great, but it's just something that you can't ever be prepared for. And it's. It's scary.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
What have the owners of the O Group taught you about real estate? Like, what have you been able to see through their eyes? They've also obviously been very successful with what they've done. What are like the pillars that they stand by?
Bri Teasy
Not very tall pillars. I'm just kidding. I love you guys. I'm just kidding. But, you know, with them, I think, sorry, we're like this. We all talk shit all the time. But I think with them, it's more based on they really care about, like, the integrity of the deal. Like, they care about, you know, how you represent them, how you represent yourself, like, how you're able to close that deal. And I feel like that's really the main thing with them. They don't really care too much about the numbers, even though they act like they do and they like the money, of course, but it's like they care about how you're closing that and how you're treating people and how what our name looks like to everybody. So I think that's kind of probably the biggest lesson I've learned because I've always been an independent contractor and I'm responsible for myself. And, you know, it's. It's different to represent, like, a whole company like that.
Michael Bostic
One of my biggest secrets is to always have a meat stick on hand. Hear me out. First of all, it needs to be clean. I need something high protein in my purse at all times. And I was recommended to this brand, Maui Nui. Okay. Peter Attia told me about it. He told me about it when he came on the show, and it was, like, subtle. And I went and bought so many of these sticks. They are absolutely delicious. It's the cleanest protein you'll find. It's a snack that's in my gym bag, my purse, my drawer, my glove box. I give them to my friends when they come over. It's 10 grams of clean protein. The one that I like is the original. They also have a peppered which kind of has like a spice to it. I like that one too, but I'm really into the original. It's like a hint of sweetness. It has 2 grams of brown sugar in it and there's nothing else in it. There's nothing artificial. There's no msg, there's no nitrates, there's no artificial preservatives or fillers. It's just pure wild nutrition. How I like to eat these two is like before I go out to dinner just to get 10 grams of protein. It's such a hack. It's 55 calories. This is what you want to be eating if you need something in a pinch. Right now, Maui Nui is offering a free 12 pack of their jerky sticks with your first order of 79 or more. Just go to mauinuivenessin.com skinny to grab yours. That's M A U I n u I venison.com skinny for your free venison stick starter pack. Go try them out. And when you're asked about how you heard about Maui Newey, make sure you mention the him and her show. It really helps support the show.

Quick break to talk about Symbiotica, one of our favorite supplement companies. We have had the founders of Symbiotica on this podcast at least five or six times. I'm sure you guys have checked out those episodes, but if you have not, check out Symbiotica, Skinny, Confidential, any of the ones with Shervin or Durana or Shahab. They are building an incredible company. They also just got into Target all over the place. They are selling everywhere and here's why. They make some of the most incredible supplements on the market. Some of the standouts that Lauren and I cannot live without is their vitamin C. It's a liposomal vitamin C. I think it is one of the best vitamin Cs on the market, especially as we get into the winter season here and you're worried about your immune system. That's going to help boost collagen and your immune function. They also make one of the best glutathions on the market. This is the master antioxidant for the body. Most glutathions taste terrible. This one does not. It tastes incredible. We also love their magnesium. L threonate. I take this at night when I want to get a little bit deeper sleep. I also take it in the morning if I feel a little slow. You can add it to coffee, you can take it right out of the packet. And like I said earlier, most of their supplements are liposomal form which means your body is going to be able to design digest it even easier. Some of the other standouts are their vitamin B12 complex as well as their vitamin D3 K2. Again in liposomal delivery. We give this to our children. We take it ourselves. It has become a staple in our daily routines and we have not looked back. Taking Symbiotica supplements is one of the easiest ways I've found to stay consistent with my health goals even during this busy year. This blanket on my bed. You've seen it on my stories. My babies love it. My husband loves it. It's cashmere. It's stunning. It's beautiful. It's gray, it's perfect. I'm obsessed with it and it is by Cozy Earth so they also like How I got hooked on this brand initially is they have bamboo sheets and I wanted to try some sheets that were made for bamboo because I like that it keeps you cozy without overheating and it also helps you sleep several degrees cooler. So I fell in love with their and then I was like wait, what is this cashmere blanket on their site? And I reached out and I was like can I please try this? And I fell in love. If you're not into cashmere, they also have a bubble cuddle blanket and this is such a good gift for cozy moments. It basically combines comfort and style and there's like a textured bubble design. The kids love this one too. It's ultra soft faux fur and it's a really good one to just add luxury to any room. You can't go wrong on this side. I also grabbed their slippers so I feel like this is a good site to go shop on for the holidays. If you're looking for something luxurious for your mom or your girlfriend or your wife or your husband, everyone loves the gift of a blanket. There's nothing better than getting in bed with a beautiful blanket. Give the gift of luxury this holiday season, head to cozyearth.com and use our code skinny for up to 40% off. Just be sure that you place your order by December 12th for guaranteed Christmas delivery. Listening after the 12th don't worry our code still works year round for 20% off. And if you get a post purchase survey, be sure to mention you heard about Cozy Earth right here. That's cozyearth.com code skinny so many times during the day I just want a drink that feels real. Something bubbly and cultured that tastes great and actually heals my gut. That's why I've been drinking so much. Synergy Kombucha Both at the studio and at home, our fridge is always stocked with Synergy. Here's the thing. This is real Kombucha. No shortcuts. It's always raw and never pasteurized. Synergy is made with real organic ingredients that you can see and taste and that's how you know they're working. You're getting scientifically backed benefits with every sip. Like gut health, digestive support, immunity and protein absorption. Synergy is the OG Kombucha and I've always loved their story, which goes back 30 years. Founder GT Dave first began brewing in his parents kitchen in 1995 after his mother's breast cancer diagnosis. Inspired by her recovery and the healing powers of Kombucha, he kept perfecting the recipe and eventually shared it with the world. That very same recipe is what you'll still find on shelves today. Crafted with authenticity and trusted for its real benefits, each bottle delivers 9 billion living probiotics across a diverse spectrum of beneficial bacteria you won't find in your average supplement. That diversity comes naturally from the way each batch is slowly fermented. These living cultures work hard to help your gut thrive. And when your gut microbiome is more diverse, the benefits multiply, all working to make your gut feel better. It's a daily reset for your body any time of day that you'll actually feel. And senergy doesn't just improve your wellness, it also tastes great. There are over 20 bold flavors, so you'll definitely find one that you love. I've been into Synergy forever and I usually gravitate towards the tropical flavors. But this fall I've been reaching for more flavors that celebrate the season. Honeycrisp, apple, cranberry, blood orange. They really have a flavor for everyone. Each one is tangy, vibrant and naturally bubbly. There's a party in every bottle. There's a reason Kombucha is my go to. And of course there's a reason it's always synergy. They were the first bottled kombucha, paving the way for Kombucha as we know it. And it's been the number one in the US and worldwide for over 30 years. So sip it, love your gut and feel the power of Kombucha when it's crafted the right way. The Senergy team can't wait for you to experience the gut health benefits of real Kombucha. So they're treating you to a free bottle. Just slide into Energy Kombucha's DMs on Instagram and send them the code Synergieskinny to claim your coupon. That's Energicambutra on Instagram. Drop the code and sip on your complimentary bottle while supplies last.

How do you think about all of your finances with everything you're doing as a woman? It seems on the show, as a viewer, and I could be wrong about this, it seems like you're very financially literate. Yeah, I think, yeah, it seems like it. How do you set up everything you've got going on with reality television? You obviously have your social media, your real estate. Like, what are some things that you've learned along the way that our audience could take away?
Bri Teasy
I mean, I've learned a lot of hard lessons. I learned a lot of hard things about, you know, I. Let's say I had an llc, but I didn't have the proper insurance, or I didn't have this or I've had that. I think that for anyone that wants to kind of open their portfolio and get into other things, is making sure that you really are employing the right person that needs to be like a CPA and attorneys that are really helping protect you and setting it up correctly. Like, do you need to be an llc? Do you need to be a corp? Do you need EPLI insurance? Do you need X, Y and Z? And just making sure that the initial steps to every single thing you're doing are taken care of. Because I think the clients, the planning, all of the other things like you can kind of do on your own, but without those people, you know, you kind of chase your tail and then you end up in situations where you have to fix things. And I think that people like that are the main reason to making everything successful overall. Because like, no one's like a one, one woman show. It's impossible. Like you still have supporting people at different levels. So I feel like that's the main.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
Reason Michael literally tells me this all the time. He's like, you have to set up your company as a multi million dollar company from the beginning.
Lauren Everts
No, not. Well, yes. But what I, I been through the block and made a lot of mistakes doing it. And I Talked to a lot of young entrepreneurs now that are starting out and they want to save. They want to go to the cheapest lawyer, the cheapest accountant, or the, you know, the, you know, cheapest whatever. And I'm like, listen, you're going to. It's going to cost you later. Like, I'm a firm believer in just setting it up properly with the right people and the right reputation, spending the money. I know it's painful up front, but it's a lot more painful cleaning up the stuff down the line. And trust me, I've had to do a lot of cleanup.
Bri Teasy
Same cleanup is not fun. Yeah, it sucks. It's hard. And then, you know, it. It can be really detrimental and it can be really scary. So I think that, you know, not trying to find the shortcuts in those things is like the most importance of being successful, even in just the initial setup.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
Great advice. What are some of the biggest mistakes that you see when people are buying or selling their home?
Bri Teasy
I think people not being patient and really understanding what they're purchasing and why they're purchasing it and where it is and like weighing that out. Like, if this is an investment property just because it's pretty, is it really the right investment property? Like, I have one, for instance, that has two dual primaries. We used to call them masters, but like, for, for me, I'm like in the area that it's in, like those things weigh out differently. Now if you're going to, let's say Calabasas or somewhere else that, you know, just is a typical family home, that might, might not be ideal. I think you have to really research and understand what it is that you're trying to accomplish to be successful. I think people get excited and they just think like, oh, I can just invest in this, or oh, I can just do this. And then they end up being like, oh, oh, this wasn't the right choice. I wish I would have waited or researched more or something.
Lauren Everts
You know, doing what you do, when do you think it's appropriate to buy vs rent? Like not even appropriate. Like from a, from a cost perspective. Right time in life, do you always think it's the right time to buy instead of rent, or do you think renting sometimes is better?
Bri Teasy
I personally like renting. I do have rental properties and investment properties that are passive income, but they're also a debt. So everyone, you know, even I didn't get fully consider that. Like you have to think about all that time that it's empty, the maintenance, the mortgage, the insurances, like all of those things. Can you afford that property for six months to a year? Are you going to be able to in six? That's, you know.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
Yeah, that's to think about that.
Bri Teasy
And you know, I did it, like I'll be the first to say it. You ha. You learn it the hard way sometimes and you think it's going to be easy to rent or you think it's going to be whatever. And then something happens in the market or you know, your AC goes out like do you have the funds to support this investment? And majority of the time people don't. And then they end up losing that property or having to sell that property and then they're scared of it because they didn't have the right resources to make the proper investments.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
That's so interesting that we have seen that a lot. It's, it seems to me that people, and I know nothing about real estate, but it seems to me that people buy bigger than they think they need a lot.
Lauren Everts
Yeah, well, I think there's this fallacy in real estate that especially in residential where people think that they're buying something that is always going to be an appreciating asset. And I tell them like, there's so many things to consider, but it also, it depends on when you can actually sell that asset and get the money out. Like some, you know, right now there's a, we live in Austin. There's a correction going on over there. Correction going on here. If we would have, we bought a place and then sold it real quick in 2021, great. Now it's gonna be a little harder. Right. And so I think people forget about that.
Bri Teasy
Yeah, they do. And it's hard because you can't predict the future. You don't know what's gonna happen, you don't know when it's gonna happen. So it's, it's a gamble. But I think that there are different forms of investment, you know, like a duplex of this, that things that, you know, more doors where if you at least have one or two of those doors filled then you can still float your property versus like the one door that's a big overhead and like things like that. But again that takes either a mentor or proper, proper research or you know, things that we have the resources for. But I think sometimes I do love this new generation of everyone, you know, buying younger and like making good money and not necessarily having to be like that typical four year college vibe, but they also have the resources to do a little bit more research and I think that there's a little disconnect there, but we're definitely, you know, in a much better place with, you know, this new generation understanding the investments and stuff of that nature.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
What's the best tip or life lesson that you've learned from Nick, and what's the best life lesson or tip that he's learned from you?
Bri Teasy
I would say he's learned from me is to actually enjoy yourself and have fun. Because that man is old and crotchety these days. He doesn't want to do anything, but.
Lauren Everts
He'S not that old.
Bri Teasy
He just turned 45.
Lauren Everts
Yeah.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
I get it. Yeah, I get what you're saying.
Bri Teasy
He's just like, eh, whatever.
Lauren Everts
You said, old and crotchety.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
I was thinking.
Lauren Everts
I was like, is he like, 60 or something?
Bri Teasy
No, he's 45. He acts like he's 60. I'm like, we used to have fun, get it together. We got stuff to do. But I think from him, what is. How does he say it? It's like the where if you can't change it, don't let it control you vibe. He says it much better. But I have a tendency to, like, okay, I gotta fix this. Okay. I'm gonna stress on it. I'm trying to control the situation. And he's like, you can't stress what you can't. Like, you gotta just let it go. And, you know, he always says, let. Let it go to God. Which I struggle with that aspect. But he'll be like, just let it go. And I don't really. I loosened a little bit, but I'm still, like, holding. So I think that's probably the biggest and the best lesson that I'm trying to apply.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
When you come home and you have, like, your list of all the things that the girls have done that day, and you tell him, does he just say, let it go?
Bri Teasy
No, no, no. Then he enjoys it. Then he's in with the tea. Some of it. Yeah. Some of it. He'll be like, she said what? And then the rest is like, oh, we don't care about that. So I never actually know what he's gonna say, to be honest. Sometimes he's like, he's in here with the girl talk and the tea, and the rest of the time he's like, oh, that don't matter. Like, it's fine.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
So you love the tea.
Bri Teasy
It's fine.
Lauren Everts
Secretly, we all like the tea.
Bri Teasy
No, and it's not your tea.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
Sometimes I like to, like, do this thing where I withhold the tea and then, like, make him, like, work for the tea.
Bri Teasy
Oh, I love it.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
And so I'll just be like, oh, yeah, it was fine.
Michael Bostic
Pass the ketchup.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
And he'll be like, trying to get the tea out.
Lauren Everts
Haven't you seen that meme where the. Where it's like, when. And you tell the meme. It's just like. It's telling the married guy something, and the guy, like, before the person even finished, he's, like, sprinting home as fast as he can to tell his girl.
Bri Teasy
Oh, my gosh.
Lauren Everts
That's what I think of.
Bri Teasy
Yeah, I love that.
Lauren Everts
You can't tell anyone else if someone's like, don't tell, but maybe tell your wife or your girl.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
But you like my tea. Yeah.
Lauren Everts
You know why? Cause, like, we don't. A lot of guys don't have a lot of. We don't really have a lot of drama. Like, I could go out and sit. As you were talking earlier, I'm like, if I sat in a house with, like, six of my guy friends just hanging, like, there probably would be, like, no issues.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
Don't be fooled. This man. If selling Sunset or Real Housewives is on, your peripheral is on it too.
Lauren Everts
You like.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
You like the juice?
Lauren Everts
I like to. I mean, listen, It's. I think when guys come on these things and they say, I don't watch when that thing's on, it's kind of. It's hard to turn away from the. The wackiness that goes on on these things. Like, it's just wild.
Bri Teasy
Yeah. You're like, I don't want to watch, but I feel like I have to watch. I have to know what happened. It's crazy.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
You have been in the relationship you're in that's high profile, and you're also on reality tv. Do people treat you different when you go out? Has there been a shift, or is it just been, like, a slow build?
Michael Bostic
Mm.
Bri Teasy
I think it's kind of. I mean, I think it's a little bit different when I'm out with my partner, because then it's like a. Oh, okay. And you don't, like, they. They don't know who to talk to or you don't know what the situation is. Exactly. And then I feel like, for me, it's definitely shifted, and I. It's shifted in a way that I have more appreciation for because it's women that, you know, engage and talk to you and come up to you and, you know, before that, social media and, like, whatever. My demo was more men, and I was like, oh, I don't want any of this type of Attention.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
You're like, no, thanks.
Bri Teasy
The dick tick. So I'm exactly. Please. No. And so the shift with the women and the engagement and the acceptance and, you know, all of that's been really different. And I do love. I do love that because you never really know, like, when someone's looking at you, especially when you're out, you're like, oh, does she fucking hate me? Does she, like, does she know who I am? Is she just looking like you just. You don't know what to make of it sometimes.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
So I'm just gonna also do a public service announcement. Like, please don't send us. I'm gonna. There's. I Forgot there's a 9 year old in the room. But D I C K. Like, please, please, please.
Lauren Everts
Like, because you put that out there, you're gonna get like 10x the amount.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
No, it's. It's never a good look. I just want to just send a public service announcement. It's not hot. Even Jeffree star said, don't do it. No one wants to see it. We're not into it.
Bri Teasy
Not into it.
Michael Bostic
It's.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
I'd rather see your thumb.
Bri Teasy
Yeah. Anything. Ear, toe.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
Don't care how, like, gross it is to us. We would rather see your big toe. Yeah.
Bri Teasy
Those unmanicured nails. Yes. It's. I've never understood it. I'm like, this is not coming across the way you think it is. Can you explain this?
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
It's not coming.
Bri Teasy
I don't get it.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
It's not.
Bri Teasy
Translating dating guys I will never understand. Yeah, it's.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
It's not like. It's not how it is when a girl does something.
Bri Teasy
I just.
Lauren Everts
It's like a hail Mary. It's like a football reference. It's a hail Mary, but, like, you're scaring Mary. Messages not being received.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
No, it's. It's not. It's not. It's not the message in the bottle that we're hoping for.
Bri Teasy
No, no, definitely not.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
Okay, so I. This show is big about routines, wellness, beauty, health. Are there some things that you do when it comes to. To wellness and beauty that are non negotiables?
Bri Teasy
I mean, all of it. I'm a psycho with it.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
Tell us all the things.
Bri Teasy
Literally. It's so funny because when my son hears my alarm at night, he literally knows it's regiment time. Like, so that's good, though.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
Probably for him, it's a routine.
Bri Teasy
It's good. So we do everything. We do everything together. But, like, we take our little walk at night. So the first one goes off at 5:30. So we have or 6 actually. We have dinner at 5:30, we take our walk and we say I have a horse. So we take him out, we go for our little walk, he takes a bath and then I'll take a shower and I'll do the full care. So he'll sit there and he'll like be like, what's that Bobby? And I'm like, it's under eye mask. He's like, why? So I'll do the whole thing. I change it throughout the week. There's like so many like from retinols to the eye patches to the leave on mask which he calls the monster mask, you know, the full one. And I try to literally I do the at home microneedling. Like I do it all. So I literally have a breakdown for every night of the skincare that I'm gonna do.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
What do you mean you gotta, you.
Bri Teasy
Gotta like a full breakdown.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
So like Mondays one day and Tuesdays. So tell us what the week is. This, this, this show will love it.
Bri Teasy
Okay, so I only go from like Monday through Friday because the weekends are just too crazy. And it's my one on one time with my son to just do whatever he wants all weekend. But I would say Monday, I think it's Monday. Wednesday and Friday is the retinol for the under eye cream that I do. And then I have the sheet mask which was Tuesday and Thursday. But then after you're also doing like, like the lip exfoliator. You're doing the full exfoliating before you do that. Okay. And then when it comes off, you're doing all the serums.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
Are you writing this down or is this like in your brain?
Bri Teasy
That's why I'm like trying to rack it because I have it literally written out. And all of the bottles will say on there like Monday, Wednesday, Friday, nighttime, daytime. And I do like the crazy. The label machine.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
You seem like you're really like organized.
Bri Teasy
I am. I'm very type A.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
Like it seems like you are like have everything ready to go, but if.
Bri Teasy
You can't, you can't get it all done. It's too much like.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
I know my, my brain's a little more like it's organized chaos. Like I feel like I love how you like have the labels and it's organized and it's written down. That's like Michael, Michael has a.
Lauren Everts
What is organized chaos in your, in your definition? I love it.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
Like it makes sense to me, but it wouldn't make sense if someone came into my house.
Lauren Everts
I Think it's just actually just like you, like, remove the word organized.
Bri Teasy
Yeah, yeah, it's just chaos. The chaos.
Michael Bostic
Yeah, like a little chaos.
Bri Teasy
See, my rule is the opposite. I want where you come into my house, that anyone can find anything and do anything within the home. So I liter every bin is labeled. Every, every. Yeah, it's. It's a lot. It's my ocd.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
I like that, though. Are you organized that. Like that when it comes to your time?
Bri Teasy
Absolutely.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
So is like full calendar, everything. What would someone be surprised to hear about you when it comes to motherhood? Because it seems like you're. That's very important to you.
Bri Teasy
It is very important to me. I think that that organization is how I prioritize him and make sure that I'm still able to take care of the things that I need to take care of. And I think that people think when you're type A and organized and you're crazy, that like, you can't enjoy yourself and, you know, all of those things that come with it. But we 1000% do. And now my son looks forward to like, oh, he knows this weekend. I live in Hidden Hills and they do like this crazy festival thing. And so he is like, this is the fiesta this weekend, mommy. And then Sunday we're doing the pumpkin patch and he starts to get excited and, you know, has something to like, look forward to with with the Type A. But it's like I make things very fun and my entire life truly is either my work or my kid. And Nick gets a little fraction, but, like, majority. It's like a little fraction. Yeah, he could just. He can come into the kid stuff if he wants, but you know, and my workouts and stuff and so like, he's just as busy. So we work out together and we make time in different areas when we are. But, like, you know, I think that he has majority of my schedule, my son and everything is. I will move things, I will cancel things, I will not do stuff. Like, I wanna make sure I stick to my schedule because then he knows those things are coming. And when I say I have to be back, he knows I'm gonna be back. And I think that that's really helped where we have a really. What is the. It's like a positive attachment. I forget what the term is for it.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
I know what you're talking about.
Bri Teasy
It's. Fuck, yeah. Show's gonna drive me crazy talks about it. What's that?
Michael Bostic
Attachment.
Lauren Everts
Oh, I know.
Bri Teasy
Yeah, whatever.
Lauren Everts
I don't know the terminology.
Bri Teasy
Yeah. But it's like that really healthy attachment that I'm very proud of.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
You have to Google it because I just reading a book about it, it's like a positive, there's. It's like a positive attachment. Google attachment theory for babies.
Bri Teasy
Yeah. And I feel like he's really shown me that we've been able to accomplish that. And that's something that I think makes it also very, I don't wanna say easy, but easy for me to be successful and do what I need to do. And because I think of this trust and structure that I've given him, he. He lets me do that. Like, I'm like, I'm gonna go to London for a week. He's like, okay, mommy, I'll see you Friday. And it's like, it makes it so much easier for me because he knows.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
That you're coming back.
Bri Teasy
Yes.
Michael Bostic

I first heard about Jones Road Beauty when they went viral all over social media for their miracle balm and I had to buy some. I immediately like ran to their site and got it because everyone was saying it's the most beautiful balm ever and it really is a miracle balm. And when I got it I fell in love. If you're unfamiliar with Jones Road Beauty, they're a minimalistic makeup brand founded by makeup artist Bobbi Brown. Everything they create is versatile and easy to use. But what I like personally about this brand is that every formula is packed with with clean skin loving ingredients. They're very specific about the ingredients that are in their products and all of their products are actually good for your skin. They're all designed to give you that effortless natural, no makeup look. But back to their miracle balm. Okay, this is a bestseller and basically what it is is it's a multitasker. So I noticed that I could use it as a tint, a blush, a bronzer, a highlight even on my lips, which is so cool. So what I do is I keep this in my little skincare bag on the way to the gy and I just use it how I feel like it. This can replace like a bunch of products in your makeup bag and it's perfect for when you're rushing around as a mom or you're going to work or a holiday dinner or you just want to look pulled together. This holiday season, simplify your routine with makeup that's clean, strategic and multifunctional. From now until December 1st, Jones Road is doing their first ever Black Friday sale. Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
I think that sometimes you just gotta do what works for you. Some people co sleep. Some people. I'm trying to really wear my baby as much as I can whenever I'm home because I think that that also creates the attachment. I forgot what it's called that you're talking about. But I think that you just. If you are a working mom, you have to be very creative about how you find ways to connect with your child. Because we, we're trying to do it all.
Bri Teasy
Yeah.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
And the man kind of gets left in the, in the dust sometimes. But that's too bad for them.
Bri Teasy
They got to get in where they fit in.
Lauren Everts
As long as it's not for too long.
Bri Teasy
Yeah. Secure attachment. I was like, why? Why could I not remember? That's attachment.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
What are you doing for diet and fitness?
Michael Bostic
Fitness.
Bri Teasy
Okay. So I have always been a psycho about both.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
Okay.
Bri Teasy
If I don't work out, I feel like I can't do anything. Like I feel like it is a non negotiable for me. It's the first thing I do in the morning. I usually start my workout at 6am every day. 6:30 sometimes. And then that's at least an hour a day. Weight training.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
Weight training.
Bri Teasy
I love weight training. I love pilates. I'll do hot yoga at night. So sometimes it'll be like two a day. But that's like, like something I do with my partner. So we usually do it like twice a week.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
Wait, Nick does hot yoga?
Bri Teasy
Yeah, and Pilates. He comes to both with me.
Michael Bostic
Wow. I.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
That's something that. I wouldn't think. So he's doing a hot. Why don't you do hot yoga with me?
Lauren Everts
I do. I do the Pilates with you.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
You do the Pilates?
Bri Teasy
I think you'd actually really like the hot yoga. We don't do like the anything crazy.
Lauren Everts
I like when I go, I go in the sauna late at night and I like stretching in there.
Bri Teasy
So you could do skin or flat.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
Like naked in the sauna. Stretching with weird penis hat. It's like, oh my God.
Lauren Everts
It's not a pretty sight. I know.
Bri Teasy
Dead.
Lauren Everts
But no, because it like, you know, I feel like I get loosened up because of the heat.
Bri Teasy
So you would love the yoga. That's the whole point. The hot yoga.
Lauren Everts
I could do the yoga but I don't like being in the room with all those other sweaty People.
Bri Teasy
Yeah, that is. That is a part of it.
Lauren Everts
I could do it, like, you know.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
So you're doing. You said you're doing weightlifting, Pilates and hot yoga.
Bri Teasy
Yeah, and then I have peloton at home, and I always do the cardio. For sure. I love boxing. I really try to kind of switch up my workouts, but I would say those are the ones that I stick to the most.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
Because it's not easy after you have a baby.
Bri Teasy
It's not. No, it's not. And I've only worked one, and I still am like, God bless these women that get back after two and three, because it's It. I also thought, because I was shredded before, like, full six pack built, like, I thought, I'm gonna snap back right away. Was not the case. And it was just. It's really hard to do when you can't sleep, but you're not getting the proper sleep that you need and you're not eating the right things and taking the supplements and all the things to support yourself. Like, it's not gonna be easy.
Lauren Everts
There's some kind of statistic that says after you have a child and people. I don't have to Google this, but it's basically, you're signing up for six years even if they're sleeping with you or not. Of deprived sleep.
Bri Teasy
Yeah.
Lauren Everts
So then if you stack multiple kids, like, you just reset the clock every time.
Bri Teasy
Oof. I can't.
Lauren Everts
And I think because, like, every parent knows you kind of sleep with, like, there's something where you're, like, kind of aware even when they're asleep. You're, like, kind of half awake in some instances.
Bri Teasy
You know, I wake up right before my son wakes up every single time.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
It's like, you just know.
Lauren Everts
It's that instinct of knowing you have to, like, kind of keep an eye on.
Bri Teasy
So you never. I feel like you never get that. REM sleep is basically. Yeah.
Lauren Everts
They're just basically saying for six years your sleep is completely disrupted compared to somebody who does not have that.
Bri Teasy
Yeah. Because.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
Yeah, it is a lot of pressure after you have a baby with the weight. And I think I can only imagine how much pressure it is to then also have to go film a show that's on Netflix with a bunch of women.
Michael Bostic
That's.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
Yeah.
Bri Teasy
Not a joke. Six weeks postpartum wearing a diaper.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
I do not know. I'm four months postpartum, and I'm like. I'm like. I feel like you feel like a blob.
Bri Teasy
Yeah, you do. And you just. First of all, Your whole insides are still finding their way back. Like, it's crazy.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
That's a.
Michael Bostic
That's a diabolical.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
Yeah, that's almost like torture.
Bri Teasy
Yeah, it was.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
They threw you into the pit with Chelsea Weeks.
Michael Bostic
Yeah.
Bri Teasy
It was awesome.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
You also like, can't be. I feel like you can't get in trouble for your attitude. Six weeks postpartum.
Bri Teasy
You would hope.
Lauren Everts
But when you stretch that to like, you're like. Yeah, like three years later.
Bri Teasy
But they do say two years.
Michael Bostic
Yeah.
Bri Teasy
Michael. Minimum for your entire body and brain to reset. It's an actual statistic.
Lauren Everts
And then you keep resetting with every new kid.
Bri Teasy
Exactly. And then you go through pregnancy. So it's like, how can men even blame us? We literally are being. It's a chemical imbalance and you can't do anything about it. No.
Lauren Everts
But joking aside, we work with. We work with a lot of women, but we work with a woman here that was out here. She's postpartum and she was like, maybe not as early as you were, like maybe a few months into it. And she was filming a TV shot here and she's quitting the show because she said it was really messy. I was like, hey, you gotta actually. Cause she had really bad postpartum, the first one. And I said, if that's going on, you should. I should probably just walk. Because it has a long term consequence.
Bri Teasy
If you don't, it 1000% does. And I think that's the hardest part as women is we really sacrifice so much. And I think that we don't get enough grace to really deal with what postpartum is and like what we're going through. And it's, you know, you're painted that you're crazy. You're painted that it's this. And it's like the statistics of just what it does to your body alone. Nonetheless, these circumstances of people that do what we do in this industry, it's like you can't give a little grace. Like it's. It's actually, it's pretty fucked up. And I think that that was a big thing for me was the awareness of that. Because I was a first time mom. It was my first time on a show. And I just say what I want to say. So I was like, no, this has to be said. This is crazy. Like, the expectations here for women alone is just diabolical.
Michael Bostic
This is my theory.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
There's that quote, an able man bears many burdens. I think that women have way more of a capacity for things. And so I think when you're pregnant, and then you have the baby, but you're also working 40 hours a week, and you're also running a family at home, and you have a husband and whatever, whatever, whatever. It's like the husband sort of is like, oh, they can handle it because.
Michael Bostic
They have such capacity. Yeah.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
And there is a lack of grace that I've seen from.
Lauren Everts
No, I'll just be honest. I didn't understand what was going on the first time. And I think a lot of men. How would we. Yeah, we don't. But it was weird because you. You know somebody so well, and then they kind of don't take this the wrong way. They kind of, like, switch up on you. Like, what's going on here?
Bri Teasy
Yeah.
Lauren Everts
And you're like, snap out of it. You're going.
Bri Teasy
Because they're used to, like.
Lauren Everts
By the way, that was the wrong approach.
Bri Teasy
Oh, yeah.
Lauren Everts
Because I was like, hey, what.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
My worst is, what's wrong with you?
Bri Teasy
Oh, see, that's fighting. I'll be fighting right there. I'll be like.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
I think he said that three days after I gave birth, maybe.
Lauren Everts
No, not that early.
Michael Bostic
No.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
I was like, what's wrong with me?
Lauren Everts
No.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
Because it's the first time I'm in a diaper.
Michael Bostic
Yeah.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
I'm 600 pounds overweight. She's like, my boobs are weight. My boobs. And you're, like, asking me to, like, film an ad or something. I'm like, what's wrong with me?
Bri Teasy
Yeah, it's.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
Honestly, it's. It's like he's so used to me being so capable. It, like, malfunctions, and he can't believe that I can't just, like, get through the finish line.
Lauren Everts
It's that part. It's like you're used to somebody being so on it, you know, strong, all the things. And then they, like, to your point, they switch up on you, and you're kind of like. And especially as a guy you don't know now, the third time around, talk to a therapist. Now I just kind of, like, walk like, I did that. Like Homer Simpson back into the bushes.
Bri Teasy
See you later.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
That's what you should do.
Bri Teasy
But I think that there. I wish that there was more education, especially for, like, new parents. Because even as a woman, I didn't know I was gonna go Looney Tunes. Like, I was like, what just happened? Like, and you. And you don't even. You don't know how to even stop it. Like, you literally can't. So I understand why people get divorced in a year or so. After a baby because the men are like, what the fuck happened to you?
Lauren Everts
I don't think we, I think it's so, it's new for society and I think we misdiagnosed a lot of women in the past, especially like our parents generation. You look at like it's depression.
Bri Teasy
Absolutely.
Lauren Everts
Like, right. And they put them on like a Prozac or whatever. And you, you're missing that. It's. It's actually this postpartum, you just, you.
Bri Teasy
Know, which is actually normal and it should be supported, not, you know, looked down on.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
So, yeah, there. I like that you. I, I don't like for you that you came back six weeks postpartum because I can only imagine how stressful that was. But it was nice to have that shown on television. So you, you could, I mean, I could relate right away to that.
Bri Teasy
Yeah.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
I was like, I can't believe she's back on screen so quickly. And then they're like throwing daggers. Yeah.
Bri Teasy
Oh, they dragged me for the first year and a half of having my son and then when I got to the 2, 2 year mark, I was like, all right, bitches, I'm good now, so everybody, everybody better relax.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
Torch the world.
Bri Teasy
Yeah. And then I did, I did torch the world. And so now they've left me alone.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
So Sheena Shay to talks about that too. In her book that she just wrote, she talks about how she had to go back to filming Vanderpump Rules ten days after she had a baby.
Bri Teasy
No.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
And then they were like throwing her to the lion's dent or. What's the lion's dent?
Bri Teasy
It's crazy.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
But that's, it's insane.
Michael Bostic
It's.
Bri Teasy
It honestly shouldn't be legal. I'm not like, there should be like a maternity leave.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
Yeah.
Bri Teasy
Like, it's just, it's fucked up because especially being on a worldwide show, you don't know what you could say because you're pushed with being sleep deprived or whatever, and then there's forever consequences for that. And it's like, just think about fights that y' all could have had between each each other. But imagine that to the world and you have no control of that edit. Like, that's not right.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
No.
Bri Teasy
So I think that I was lucky that I was just too tired to care. But it could have went really left, you know, with people attacking your character and your family and like, you're not sleeping and it's a lot.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
Petition to have a maternity leave for reality TV for three months.
Lauren Everts
No. And I've said it like a Thousand times on this show. We've done a show for a very long time, but we control the environment. There's no like editors or post production or network. It's just like, it's our thing. So we can kind of again control the environment. And for you guys, obviously you can't do that and you put in situations. But additionally, I think when you go on reality television, the audience for some reasons feels like they can say way more, in a way more vicious way than they would to something like this. We get some shit on this show for sure, but it's not to the degree we produce. Shane is a good example. We produce her show.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
How do you deal with that?
Lauren Everts
Yeah, you don't.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
You just don't look.
Bri Teasy
I'm like, who are you? I don't care. I mean, even if I see it, it's good advice. It's hard to even take that serious. Like, you're not a real person. I don't know you. No one has ever or will ever say that to my face. So it's kind of just to me, I don't see the Internet as being a real place to be completely honest. Like, I think that probably healthy. I mean, yeah, it's the only way. If I can't really see it and feel it and I don't. You're not in a person, like, you know, like, so your opinions don't matter. The people that are the closest in my circle matter. And that's really it.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
So before you go, give us some juice, like, you gotta give us something juicy about next season. Is there anything juicy that we can get excited for?
Bri Teasy
I feel like I. Oh, we weren't filming, huh?
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
No, we weren't filming.
Bri Teasy
Okay, okay, wait.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
And I don't know if you can give that juice.
Bri Teasy
Oh, no, it's public.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
Okay, okay, okay.
Bri Teasy
I said I think for me, the juice was that the little trio that was going so strong, it's not a. It's not a trio anymore.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
What did that do to the infrastructure of the show? Like, did it make all you guys get close? Like, what was the vibe?
Bri Teasy
Oh, I would say some of us got really close and then there's some on the outskirts that you'll see play out pretty quickly.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
It.
Bri Teasy
It went really left this season. Like I did not expect. I didn't expect that at all. I didn't see that coming. I kind of of. I personally always felt like these individuals were not genuine and not really your friends. But I can't say I told you so. But I told you so.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
Who's your favorite on the show?
Bri Teasy
My favorite?
Michael Bostic
Yeah.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
Like your best friend.
Bri Teasy
I think my favorite was always Heather and then she left me, so I've been missing her. But I would say we love Heather.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
We interviewed.
Bri Teasy
Heather's been on super love Heather. And I would say the next person I'm probably the closest to or was the closest to was Emma and then Mary. Those are probably like people. I'm the closest with our new girl, Sandra. She's great. So sweet, hilarious. And then Alana. I don't hang out with her too much. I see her like here and there, but.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
So when do we get to see the season that I'll be binge watching?
Bri Teasy
October 29th.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
October 29th. Where can everyone find you? Pimp yourself out.
Bri Teasy
I only do Instagram and TikTok. I'm obsessed with TikTok and actually Snapchat. I've been doing too.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
We're gonna do a tick tock trend right now of your voice.
Bri Teasy
Oh, no, not that one. Are you.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
I don't know which one it is.
Bri Teasy
There's only one. Really?
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
Which one is it?
Bri Teasy
Yeah, she definitely has. Yep, that's the one.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
What do they call it in that show? Earmuffs.
Bri Teasy
Earmuffs.
Host (possibly Sheena Shay or another co-host)
Bri, thank you so much for coming on the show. I'm so excited to watch selling sunset. If you guys have not binge watched the show, go back, start it from the beginning. It's so juicy and so good. And you also learn a little real estate, even though I don't.
Bri Teasy
I mean, a little bit. Yeah.
Lauren Everts
Thank you, Bri.
Bri Teasy
Thank you.
Michael Bostic
Be sure that you guys go to shopskinnyconfidential.com we are doing black Friday cyber Monday and I want you to get everything that you want before everything sells out. Go to shopskinnyconfidential.com.
Episode: Bre Tiesi On The Truth Behind Selling Sunset, Motherhood, Personal Boundaries, & Finding Your Balance
Hosts: Lauryn Bosstick & Michael Bosstick
Guest: Bre Tiesi
Release Date: November 27, 2025
In this candid and lively episode, Bre Tiesi — real estate agent, investor, business consultant, star of Netflix’s "Selling Sunset," and mother — joins Lauryn and Michael Bosstick to reveal the realities behind reality TV, discuss motherhood and work-life boundaries, and share insights on navigating a high-profile career and personal life. The conversation ranges from setting non-negotiable boundaries, dealing with on-screen drama, financial literacy, and wellness routines, all presented in Bre’s unfiltered style.
“Everyone I was around was like, ‘you need to do TV’… It kind of just kept coming up and I don't think I really decided." (01:49, Bre Tiesi)
Emotional Exhaustion: The cast experiences emotional fatigue unlike physical exhaustion due to constant interpersonal drama. (03:09)
"It's a completely different... It drains you in a different level for sure." (03:09, Bre Tiesi)
Authenticity vs. Scripted Perception: Bre is adamant that the drama is real, not manufactured — the “batshit crazy” dynamics would exist even off-camera.
“We are this batshit crazy. Every single person on here and these things are real… It’s not like scripted like everyone thinks it is.” (03:47, Bre Tiesi)
Personal Boundaries After Filming: “We don’t usually talk to each other in between [seasons]…not even like we're mad…it’s just like, girl, I don't wanna see you. I just need a break. I love you, but I’ll see you in a couple months.” (03:30)
Anticipation of Judgment: Bre openly expected to be targeted for her relationship with Nick Cannon.
“You kind of have to know that whatever dirty laundry you have is going to be what people come for…” (06:36)
Owning Her Truth: Emphasizes self-acceptance as a shield, which led to unexpected public support.
“There is anything you can say about me that I haven't said or would say or claimed from my past. So it can't really be used against me.” (06:36) “I'm genuinely happy. Nothing you say can affect me… I was happy that...people really saw that.” (08:10, Bre Tiesi)
Public Reaction: The more she owned her story, the more it “took the air out of their sails” for people attempting to drag her. (08:00)
“If we continue down this path... I'm not going to continue to do this.” (09:37)
“You have to be okay walking away. I’ve done it a ton of times, and it sucks…but if you don’t have those boundaries…what are we doing?” (12:16)
“Real estate is so much work and there’s so much time that goes into it where you may never see a dollar…” (14:13) “This is a full time career. It’s not part time at all.” (15:09)
“It’s going to cost you later… It’s a lot more painful cleaning up the stuff down the line.” (28:45-29:22, Michael & Bre)
“Organization is how I prioritize him…everything is—I will move things, I will cancel things, I will not do stuff [for my son].” (41:26) “Now my son looks forward to…he knows this weekend…he starts to get excited…and has something to look forward to with the Type A [organization].” (41:26-42:51)
“Six weeks postpartum wearing a diaper…” (53:09) “We really sacrifice so much… we don’t get enough grace to really deal with what postpartum is…” (54:32)
“I don’t see the Internet as being a real place…your opinions don’t matter. The people that are the closest in my circle matter. And that's really it.” (59:54)
Bre Tiesi delivers an unfiltered, grounded, and insightful look at the realities of balancing fame, motherhood, business, and wellbeing. She stresses the importance of authenticity, setting unwavering boundaries, proper business foundations, and self-care, all while navigating the unique pressures of public life and reality television. Her openness about postpartum struggles, the intensity of reality filming, and the hard-won lessons of financial literacy offer actionable takeaways for listeners in any walk of life.
