Lauren Bostic
Welcome to the Bostics, starring Lauren Bostic and Michael Bostic.
Jesse Solomon
Together, they are the Bostics.
Michael Bostic
Summer House is all the rage. I mean, it is all over the news. And on this episode, we sat down with Jesse Solomon. Not only is he a rock star right now when it comes to reality television, he. He also has a really compelling story that I'm excited to share with you guys. On this episode, Jesse opens up about navigating his life in the spotlight, overcoming testicular cancer, and he emphasizes the importance of gratitude and mental health. With that, let's welcome Jesse Solomon to the Bostics.
Kristin Cavallari
So I am a super fan of Summer House. I've watched every single season. I could dissect it like a cadaver on the table. I was saying, like the game operation that you used to play when you were little. I will pull the funny bone out like I can. I love watching the human dynamics of it. I'm obsessed. It's not just the reality TV that I wanted you on the show for. There's so many different facets of you that I find fascinating. And you just played a concert last night until what time?
Jesse Solomon
Well, the show went from about 9 to 10, and then I got to meet everybody after for probably almost an hour. And then we packed up all the gear, took the sprinter van back to the hotel, and went to Waffle House. And no alcohol, no booze. And I feel bad because people will buy me shots and stuff, and I'm just like, I just can't take that ever.
Lauren Bostic
Or, like, you're done.
Jesse Solomon
No, I mean, I'm on a show about partying in the Hamptons.
Lauren Bostic
When you're doing that, you're. You're taking it easy.
Jesse Solomon
Yeah. I just figure, like, it's. I've got a lot of work to do, and I want to give it my best. And I'm already having trouble giving my best performance every night with all the travel, singing for an hour at a time. Like, I trained a lot to get to a place where I can sing for an hour at a time. Well, but it's still, like, with the flying, the driving, dehydration, like, difficult. Yeah.
Kristin Cavallari
When you go on this show, did you have the strategy of wanting to do music?
Jesse Solomon
No. I've sang my entire life.
Kristin Cavallari
Okay.
Jesse Solomon
I went to music school at the University of Miami, and I got. We can talk about my career path and how I got here. But I went into the show thinking, oh, maybe I'll launch, like, a consumer product at some point. I didn't think I would launch a music Career, but it just was, like, the thing making me happy and what I wanted to do. I'm on a 16. We just added a show in Atlantic City. City. 17 city tour.
Lauren Bostic
So what number two. What number on the tour was this show last night?
Jesse Solomon
Last night was show number six and. Oh, damn, you're just getting into it after this podcast. I'm so blessed to be here with you too. Thanks for having me. I'm driving to Dallas, the van, the band is picking me up, and I have a show in Dallas tonight.
Kristin Cavallari
And are you single on this 17 city tour?
Jesse Solomon
Am I single?
Kristin Cavallari
Yeah.
Jesse Solomon
Yeah.
Kristin Cavallari
Okay. So single. No attachments?
Jesse Solomon
None.
Kristin Cavallari
That's nice.
Jesse Solomon
I have a crush.
Kristin Cavallari
You have a crush?
Jesse Solomon
Yeah.
Kristin Cavallari
But here's my thing. When guys say you have a crush. Let me talk to you about this.
Jesse Solomon
Good luck.
Kristin Cavallari
When you say that you have a crush, that could insinuate the crushes in New York or San Diego. Maybe you have 10 crushes, and the crush that's listening thinks they're the crush.
Jesse Solomon
I'm not saying this for her. I'm just talking.
Kristin Cavallari
You have a crush.
Jesse Solomon
Yeah, I don't think she's listening, but
Kristin Cavallari
she's not on the show.
Jesse Solomon
No.
Kristin Cavallari
No more crushes on the show.
Jesse Solomon
I hope this summer this crush isn't being as reciprocated as I would like. So we'll see where it goes.
Kristin Cavallari
The guy always ends up falling in love with the girl that doesn't like him back.
Jesse Solomon
Yeah, she's. She's playing the game well. Yeah, unfortunately, I don't like to play games.
Kristin Cavallari
You don't like to play games?
Jesse Solomon
No. No, no, no. I'm not. Like, I'm gonna wait to text back. Like, if I like you, you'll know it, and if you like me back, we'll go on dates and hopefully become something more than friends.
Kristin Cavallari
How do you manage going on the show? That. That is like, the. I feel like you guys are, like, the rock star of Bravo right now. So, like, you're on this show that's like, everyone's watching it. And then you also have your real life, and you're touring, and you say you have a crush. How do you manage balancing all of that?
Jesse Solomon
The show is based off of our real lives, so you just kind of show up and try your best to be yourself with giant cameras in your face. So I would say that's like, my main objective is don't do anything I wouldn't do in real life, because I'm on Summerhouse. Obviously, like, you're in this microcosm and relationships Happen faster. Friendships get deeper quicker. You're talking about really vulnerable stuff. So it all kind of spirals quickly, and, like, that's what creates a good show, I think. But our show is based off of genuine, real friendships, and it's not just like a show friendship. I think you can feel if it was fake, and I think that's why what just happened was, like, so ground shattering. Like, hurt everyone so bad because we had such a good thing going. And for our friends to just, like, betray our trust really hurt everyone. Not to talk about that whole situation. But does that mean.
Lauren Bostic
So, like, can people go back now and continue to do the show? I'm like, I'm in, but I'm not as in. I'm on the outside. I'm watching all this now, and I'm hearing about. Obviously I hear about all of this. Like, can. Can you guys be like, all right, back to work, or.
Jesse Solomon
I think it's going to take time to repair the. The trust that's been lost, if possible. It's been tough for me because I'm kind of like, friends with everybody. Obviously, like, Sierra and Kyle are the people that deserve the. The sympathy here, not me. But, yeah, just, like, hurts deep when you get lied to by people that you're, like, really close friends with.
Kristin Cavallari
When you had the epiphany of realizing that that two of your best friends were hooking up behind everyone's back, were you. Was it, like, gut punched? How did you feel?
Jesse Solomon
Yeah, I'd been hearing the rumors for a while, so I wasn't, like, surprised, but I was kind of, like, shocked that they would lie to me. Yeah, it was really upsetting.
Kristin Cavallari
I was trying to explain it to my husband, and I'm like, it's like if you and I lived in a house.
Jesse Solomon
I love when people try to explain it, it's, like, so dreadful.
Kristin Cavallari
It's hard to explain. But I said if I was. He has a best friend named Weston. If I was, that makes things easier. Sex with Weston. And then the girl that Weston used to have sex with and date.
Jesse Solomon
Was your best friend.
Kristin Cavallari
Was my best friend.
Michael Bostic
Right.
Kristin Cavallari
Did I explain it right?
Jesse Solomon
Yeah. I mean, it's like you have two couples, they both break up. Two people hook up with each other, and you've got these, like, friends that are left in the crosshair. Crossfire.
Kristin Cavallari
Yeah.
Jesse Solomon
And, like, everybody's getting hurt for a different reason.
Kristin Cavallari
Yeah.
Jesse Solomon
Like, west and Kyle were friends, too. People are forgetting that, like, that was one of his buddies.
Podcast Sponsor/Ad Voice
So wait, the guy's name is Wes?
Jesse Solomon
Yeah.
Lauren Bostic
Oh, no.
Kristin Cavallari
It's West.
Podcast Sponsor/Ad Voice
Oh, West.
Lauren Bostic
Now I'm gonna get really fucking confused because I just. Because now I'm thinking about Weston, but it's West.
Kristin Cavallari
Just don't. Just don't get involved. How do you feel? And I'm sure you feel happy about how Sierra has been received by the public.
Jesse Solomon
I guess that's a silver lining of this whole situation happening to her.
Kristin Cavallari
Yeah.
Jesse Solomon
Sierra is a really good person. She cares a lot about her friends. She's taught me a lot of, like, good lessons of things that, like, you just wouldn't typically think of as a boy. So I'm just, like, grateful to her, and I'm glad that everybody else sees how amazing she is.
Kristin Cavallari
What's a lesson that she's taught you?
Jesse Solomon
Well, I mean, this summer, this past summer, I thought I was doing the right thing by checking with my buddy to see if he would be upset if I pursued his ex. And I didn't realize that that could make her feel objectified. She obviously means way more to me than just, like, somebody I would want to hook up with. And so I never meant to make her feel that way. And it really hurt me to see how upset she was. I wish I had spoken to her first, and obviously I was going to have a more serious conversation with her after I had talked to west about it. She taught me a good lesson that, like, you can't just be cavalier in the way that you go about dating.
Lauren Bostic
And does this stuff get real messy just because you guys are in such close proximity and there's maybe nobody else around? Is that what happens? You're, like, in a fishbowl with all these cameras, and you're with each other all day long, and so everybody's kind of like, oh, well, it kind of reminds me of, you know, when you're in school as a kid, you kind of just, like, date within the school because you're not out. Like, but then this is even more microscopic.
Jesse Solomon
Yeah, I think, like, proximity is, like, a really big thing. Like, you end up dating the people that you're spending time with. You end up friends with people that are close to you. You fall apart with friends that are in different states over time because, like, proximity is a big factor in relationships. So, yeah, if we're, like, going to the Hamptons and only with each other for 48 hours straight, like, you know, what's one date? You spend two hours with someone. Like, that first weekend in the house, you've already slept under the same roof for all these hours. Like, it's like, if you Hang out with somebody for a full weekend. It's like, what, 10 dates?
Lauren Bostic
Yep.
Kristin Cavallari
So when you go back to explain to Michael. So Jesse dated one of the girls in the house. You guys sort of. No, you. Lexi.
Jesse Solomon
Jesse.
Kristin Cavallari
Lexi. Long. This is a long time ago.
Jesse Solomon
Yeah.
Kristin Cavallari
You dated one of the girls in the house. Here's my question. Would you do it again in the future, or is that off limits for you?
Jesse Solomon
No. Going back to my point about, like, doing what you would do in real life. Like, this is my real life.
Lauren Bostic
So, Carson, go get me a whiteboard with a. With a map. I need to.
Kristin Cavallari
How do I explain? It's like.
Jesse Solomon
Yeah, I would. I would definitely date somebody that I was attracted to on the show. I would take it way slower.
Kristin Cavallari
Okay.
Jesse Solomon
I just, like, didn't see. That's another lesson Sierra taught me. She's like, slow the fuck down.
Kristin Cavallari
Yeah.
Jesse Solomon
And I didn't see a reason to slow down. I was like, I like this girl. She likes me. We're having a great time.
Kristin Cavallari
You guys were cute too.
Jesse Solomon
Why wait?
Kristin Cavallari
Sweet. Is the crush Kristin Cavallari?
Jesse Solomon
I mean, that's a whole separate crush. Yeah, I'm obsessed with her.
Kristin Cavallari
Oh, okay. So that's a separate crush, but I
Jesse Solomon
think we're just friends.
Kristin Cavallari
Okay. Because you guys would be cute.
Jesse Solomon
Totally.
Kristin Cavallari
I'm just throwing it out there in the ether.
Jesse Solomon
Yeah.
Lauren Bostic
What do you think, Kristen? Get back to us.
Kristin Cavallari
She'll hear this when all of this comes out. How is Andy Cohen involved in all of it? Is he texting you guys? Is he waiting for the reunion? What is his energy on everything that's been going on?
Jesse Solomon
I think Andy feels for us. You know, the reunion was really intense. He actually sent me a nice text after the reunion because he saw, like, how hurt I was. And, you know, he. He went on and made that video being like, I've done 150 reunions. That was, like, one of the more intense reunions I've ever done. So, yeah, he's just, like, the facilitator, you know? He does watch what happens. He does the reunion. He's not, like, entrenched in the friend group, but he sees it all.
Lauren Bostic
He's like, I'm so sorry for you to be a fucking ratings juggernaut.
Kristin Cavallari
Andy Cohen said that that was the most intense.
Podcast Sponsor/Ad Voice
I saw that.
Lauren Bostic
I'm not that under a rock. I did see that part.
Kristin Cavallari
Reunion. That's. That is crazy that he said it was the most intense reunion out of 150 reunions.
Jesse Solomon
Yeah, I. I cried, like, a handful of times. I was Crying all day. I was a mess. Carl's a mess. I was a mess.
Kristin Cavallari
Are you crying because of how this has affected the group's dynamic? Are you crying because you don't have anyone to talk to about this? Very. It's. This is a very specific, niche thing that you guys are going through.
Jesse Solomon
I was crying because I hadn't taken the time to deal with the emotions and the lying. And I thought that Wes was going to come to the reunion with something that was going to make people feel better and that we were going to be able to walk out of there not turning the page, but at least having apologized and being able to move forward and like, maybe west and Sierra could somehow, like, take another two year path to being friends again.
Lauren Bostic
Who are the people the most upset with? This guy west or the woman involved or both?
Jesse Solomon
Both.
Lauren Bostic
Both.
Jesse Solomon
Who's.
Lauren Bostic
Who's. Who are you? Who is the audience more upset with?
Jesse Solomon
I mean, I think they're just pretty disgusted with both of them right now.
Lauren Bostic
Who should I be upset with? Learned.
Kristin Cavallari
I think it's a really hard situation. I think there's a lot of layers to it.
Lauren Bostic
I'm pissed at both.
Kristin Cavallari
And I think also there's a lot of things that we probably don't see. So I think I don't like to
Michael Bostic
be the judge and juror.
Kristin Cavallari
That doesn't work well. I feel like sometimes the public wants to be, like, judging, and the problem with that is that they don't get to see every single thing. And you could correct me if I'm wrong and be like, no, you've seen everything. But it feels like there's, like, more.
Jesse Solomon
No, I mean, there's 42 and a half minutes and we're in the house for 48 hours. Like, you don't see everything. And then there's our real lives outside of the house. So I didn't see everything with Wes and Amanda and I was probably, like, around it the most. And so when your friends are telling you that there's nothing going on and it's easy to just believe them, like, oh, okay.
Lauren Bostic
Could you not sense, like, any energy or anything?
Jesse Solomon
Yeah, there was like a series of events where I was like, you guys are totally fucking. And they were like, no, Wes is my boy. Like, and Wes is like, dude, you'd be the first person I would tell. I was like, okay.
Kristin Cavallari
Are you afraid to go out in public with them right now?
Jesse Solomon
Afraid?
Kristin Cavallari
Maybe afraid's the wrong word.
Jesse Solomon
Hesitant as a couple. Yeah, of course. I don't want to. It's just like Unnecessary drama in my life. Like, I have this whole tour planned. I'm releasing music, and this stuff all happens, and, like, this becomes the focus. Like, Wes is supposed to come to my show in Kansas City with his family, and I'm like, I don't. Am I supposed to tell him not to come? Like, that's a guy that's been there for me. He's been a real friend. But then again, like, I don't have patience for people who lie and hook up with exes without a conversation prior. Like, that's happened to me in the past. And so I know how it feels if, like, one of your best friends hooks up with one of your exes.
Lauren Bostic
So are people giving you shit, thinking that you might have known more than you did?
Kristin Cavallari
Yeah, he picks up fast.
Michael Bostic
He.
Kristin Cavallari
I did not tell him that. That's not on the note card.
Jesse Solomon
Yeah. That's been a whole thing that I guess I haven't really spoken about, but I kind of just ignore it because I know the truth and. Yeah.
Lauren Bostic
But, yeah, I pick up on that. I'm assuming if you guys were that close and you know how guys are like, we guys are like, you become boys or someone. So that I would assume that people like, oh, this guy must have known. Yeah, that's probably.
Jesse Solomon
Yeah, there's less of that now, and I think as the reunion airs, it'll be pretty clear what I knew and didn't know. Amanda apologized to me right away after they released the statement saying, I'm sorry that we dragged you into this.
Lauren Bostic
Oh, because she knew you weren't as aware as people are speaking.
Jesse Solomon
Yeah. I mean, she knew. She knew that she lied to me. Yeah. Wes didn't pick up on the fact that, like, I've been getting heat for people thinking that I knew, but it's not a big deal.
Kristin Cavallari
You know what I see? Can I tell you my. My dynamic?
Jesse Solomon
Hell, yeah.
Kristin Cavallari
There's a bit of a liaison fairness and a blaseness from west that is not. Is what I see the cast in you not liking it feels like instead of him coming and saying, I made a really big mistake and I was out of line and I'm sorry. He. There's a kind of, like, this, like, liaison fair blase ness that I think people are like. It's almost like a beta blocker maybe. Like, it's not an acknowledgment of.
Lauren Bostic
He's not apologetic.
Kristin Cavallari
Yeah. There's not accountability. This is what I see. I haven't seen the reunion.
Jesse Solomon
Yeah. Well, he does apologize, but that's Kind of like all he does. Like, he's. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have lied. I know that now you can't believe anything that I say because I lied, but I'm sorry. But he didn't. I mean, Andy even calls him out for it. Like, do you see your friends are like, torn up about this.
Kristin Cavallari
That's the beta. Like, it's like almost like. It's almost like a detached. He's detached.
Jesse Solomon
Well, and he's been off social media and, you know, like, KJ read that text and he's. He said something similar to me. Like he didn't realize the gravity of the situation because he hasn't been seeing all the negativity online. So, yeah, I think. I think you're spot on.
Kristin Cavallari
But the problem is, is like, do you have to see the gravity of the public all throwing tomatoes to come with your tail between your legs and say. And actually give a real chance?
Jesse Solomon
Yeah, you shouldn't. It's a good point.
Kristin Cavallari
So I think the reunion, it sounds
Lauren Bostic
like, oh, and you're stirring the fucking pot, man. No, no, I hear you. I know what you're doing. Yeah, she's stirring. I know you, Lauren.
Kristin Cavallari
I'm. I. I told you. I like Human Dynamics and I like to watch it all. And I think what the cast was wanting at the reunion was some genuine accountability and no ego.
Lauren Bostic
Lauren likes to drop a grenade in the middle of the dinner table and walk away and say, oh, no, no, no, Jesse.
Kristin Cavallari
I do this thing called prompts. You'll love us. So when we go on vacation, we go with like the same 14 people. And you got.
Lauren Bostic
Not every time.
Kristin Cavallari
You gotta mix it up. It's kind of like Summer House, but
Jesse Solomon
vacation and sounds like a show.
Michael Bostic
It's kind of a show. It's a show.
Kristin Cavallari
It's a fucking show. But the thing is, I do this thing called dinner prompts. And each prompt is something to stir it.
Lauren Bostic
No, it'll be like one of our friends will be dating a brand new person or something, and they'll be like, let's go around the table and talk about your craziest sexual experience. And then you just get to watch everybody kind of like.
Jesse Solomon
And the couples are probably like. It's just like, that wasn't with me.
Lauren Bostic
She does this shit and she does it because she wants to be entertained.
Kristin Cavallari
No, I like. Yeah, I just. Well, this is why I like reality television. It's like an outlet.
Jesse Solomon
No, I think that's a great idea. Who wants to just sit through the same dinner with 14 people every night. No problem.
Lauren Bostic
You like go through and everybody gets to kind of like do a topic like that.
Jesse Solomon
Yeah, we do that at Summer House.
Kristin Cavallari
Yeah. And I mean it's fun. So my point is it's just not
Lauren Bostic
film for the world to judge.
Kristin Cavallari
My my thing with the reunion is I think they wanted some closure, some accountability, some no ego.
Jesse Solomon
Yeah, you'll have to watch the reunion. I mean there's three parts so hopefully you'll see a lot of it. I heard there's three parts I want
Kristin Cavallari
to talk about the journey that you've showed separately from Summer House, which is a totally different twist. You just showed yourself working with a camp. That was so cool. I loved that segment.

Enter fatty15. I'm so excited to share with you guys C15 from fatty15, the first emerging essential fatty acid to be discovered in more than 90 years. It's an incredible scientific breakthrough to support our long term health and wellness and you guessed it, healthy aging. Fatty 15 co founder, Dr. Stephanie Van Watson discovered the benefits of CDC C15 while working with the US Navy to continually improve the health and welfare of older dolphins. I didn't even know the Navy had dolphins, but they do. I highly suggest you check out that episode we did with Dr. Stephanie Van Watson. It's fascinating, but based on over a hundred studies, we now know that C15 strengthens our cells and is a foundational healthy aging nutrient which helps to slow aging at the cellular level. And in fact, when our cells don't have enough C15, they become fragile and age faster. And when our cells age, our bodies age too. This is why Lauren and I have been taking fatty 15 for the last few years. Now, every single day, we take it multiple times a day. And it's because we want high C15 levels. As many as one in three people worldwide may have low C15 levels and fragile cells. You do not want this. You want to age gracefully and efficiently.
Lauren Bostic
And here's the other thing.

Kristin Cavallari
You opened up about having testicular cancer.
Jesse Solomon
I had one of my nuts taken out, and then a year later, it spread to the lymph nodes, my stomach. And I had four rounds of chemo and went bald and the whole thing.
Lauren Bostic
Wow.
Kristin Cavallari
How old were you?
Jesse Solomon
I was 24 the first time.
Lauren Bostic
How do you process that mentally when you're that age? It's got to be so terrifying. Like, what. What's going through your mind to get through that period of time.
Jesse Solomon
Yeah, I think I felt lucky to have caught it early and the prognosis was really good for somebody in the situation. How did you. I went for a checkup. I went to the doctor in New York. You know, I heard my Jewish mother in the back of my head, like, go get your annual physical. And I went. And the doctor said, I don't think this is anything but. You should probably go get another test. I had like a twinge of pain in my nut, but, like, sometimes nuts hurt randomly. So it was like I didn't think anything of it. And I was traveling around for work and I came back. I was like, oh, I should get that test. I get the test and the. The hospital calls me right away and they're like, come back. And I was like, I did like a STD panel. I did this test, whatever. I was like, I must have chlamydia. Like, my life is over. And I go back to the doctor's office. I was like, all right, doc. Like, I've never had chlamydia. Like, can't believe it. He's like, so you have cancer and we're gonna have to probably give you chemo and radiation and Remove one of your testicles. And once we remove the testicle, we'll know, like, what's next for you. And I was like, where's Ashton? Am I getting punked right now? Like, what is going on? Because I'd lived a very blessed life up until that point, and I still am very blessed, but nothing like that had ever happened to me. I was just, like, you know, shocked. And then you always have this, like, voice in the back of your head that's like, what if you're one of the unlucky ones? But I had great doctors, a great support system. My family and friends were there for me. And you just kind of look at it as, like, this shitty period of your life that you're going to hopefully get through, and you're gonna be better for it on the other side. And that's kind of like how I feel now. And obviously, a lot of people aren't as lucky as I was, but I think that's, like, really the only mentality you can have going into something like that is to try and be positive and do everything you can to fight it the best you can.
Lauren Bostic
What does that do for your perspective on life after going through something like that?
Jesse Solomon
Yeah, it's been great. I would say that, like, I live every day with such joy, just happy to be alive. And that's like, what my. My tour is called, the Happy to Be Here Tour. And I did start to struggle a little bit with my mental health recently because I was kind of losing that gratitude. And I was like, what the fuck is wrong with me? Like, you are so lucky. You have so much. You're doing so well. You're getting to do what you love to do. Like, why are you not as happy as you used to be after you had just beaten cancer? So just kind of like this weird guilt for not being as happy as I once was. But I'm really good right now, and I'm loving being on tour and, like, doing music, and I feel great. Like, it feels like what I'm supposed to be doing, but definitely, like, there have been some mental battles with, like, the. The whole cancer stuff. Yeah.
Kristin Cavallari
I think that's probably why they call gratitude a practice, because you have to keep. I mean, and it sounds like you do, but it just feels like that makes sense that you would feel like that, because if you don't practice it every day, if you miss a couple days like that, it makes sense that you would struggle with your mental health later on.
Jesse Solomon
Yeah. Yeah, I. I haven't heard that as much Well, I mean, I think practice.
Kristin Cavallari
Yeah.
Lauren Bostic
Human beings do a really good job of basically forgetting the progress they make. And they feel like, you know, like say that, say you try to climb. I'm just gonna use an easy reference. You climb the mountain, you get to the top of the mountain. That's what, that's what you've been working your whole life for. And then you're there and it's like you take a couple steps back and
Podcast Sponsor/Ad Voice
like, my life sucks.
Lauren Bostic
But you don't realize that you're still a million steps ahead of where you originally once were. But that little regression feels like.
Jesse Solomon
No, totally. You get so normalized to every step forward that you take that you have to.
Lauren Bostic
That's why people, as it relates to success and even like financial well being, they think that one day they're going to reach a certain amount of that and then it's going to make them happy. They don't realize, like it just becomes the keep going. Yeah. And then, and then if you, you know, say you make a million dollars,
Podcast Sponsor/Ad Voice
if all of a sudden the next
Lauren Bostic
year you make a lot less, you feel like a loser. But it's like, don't forget you, you did that. I'm using an extreme example, but people get, you know, like they think that the number is going to solve their happiness. If you can't, if you can't be happy and grateful along the way and throughout the process, it's, it's never going to happen for you.
Jesse Solomon
Yeah. And I've always been really focused on making a lot of money and you know, I'm starting to make money. But I do think that I'll look back on this period where I'm like, you know, not like super duper wealthy. I don't have, like, I haven't had some exit in a business. That was crazy that I look back on this period and be like, that was the most fun I ever had.
Lauren Bostic
The best advice I've ever heard about money is that money solves money problems. That's about it.
Jesse Solomon
Yeah.
Lauren Bostic
Like it won't solve in internal issues, it won't solve things with your family, it won't solve the way you're great. It'll only take care of financial burdens. And some people say, oh, if I get rid of the financial burdens, I'll be happy. But there's all the other baggage. And personally in my life, the more there's been a diminishing return as you make more and more money. Like there's certain levels where if you can take care, you Know of your bills and you know, not worry about what it's going to cost to go out to dinner and your groceries, maybe take a nice vacation. Like that has a real cascading effect, but after that, like just adding more on top of the pile, you do get a diminishing return. It can be depressing, actually.
Jesse Solomon
I think the journey is like the best part. But I do think that having a family will be a really fulfilling experience and having money to do that and just like allow your kids to do whatever they want to do. That'll feel good.
Kristin Cavallari
You're gonna be a great dad.
Jesse Solomon
I can't wait.
Kristin Cavallari
Yeah, you're gonna be a really, really good dad. I can tell. And it seems like something you're excited about.
Jesse Solomon
Yeah.
Lauren Bostic
That's what's brought us the most joy of everything, probably is becoming parents.
Jesse Solomon
How many?
Lauren Bostic
Three.
Jesse Solomon
Whoa.
Kristin Cavallari
I know.
Jesse Solomon
So fun.
Kristin Cavallari
That's a lot of kids. No, but he doesn't leave me alone.
Lauren Bostic
You know the best part about having kids and I think you'll, you'll like this. You strike me as someone who likes you get to basically like live the
Podcast Sponsor/Ad Voice
best parts of life all over again,
Lauren Bostic
like through their perspective.
Jesse Solomon
Yeah. I didn't touch on the Sunrise Day Camp.
Kristin Cavallari
Yes, please.
Jesse Solomon
Such an amazing organization. I mean the way that the, the kids are just like so happy and they just like feel like normal kids and they forget about all their problems. It's a camp for kids who have cancer and their siblings because oftentimes siblings are like the forgotten about child in these situations and don't get the same attention to go to a day camp in on Long island completely for free. Cool. And even once they're, you know, have beaten their cancer, are allowed to go for until they go to college, whatever they do. And a lot of the counselors were former campers and it's just like a really great family. So I'm just grateful to them for like opening up the camp to us and being able to, to show what they do. It was like in a, in a summer filled with so much drama, to be able to have that like wholesome moment where we could like give back and show. That was really awesome.
Kristin Cavallari
You seemed really happy in that episode.
Jesse Solomon
Yeah, I think things like that just put everything into perspective and just like what we were talking about, like it makes you realize everything that you do have and how much harder it could be. So, you know, I've tried to volunteer whenever I can, as much as I can. Like I've been able to go to a hospital on tour and sing with the kids and talk to the kids and I'm setting up more of those. So, yeah, I think, like, it's amazing that I'm in a place where me showing up and like, giving my time is like, means something to other people. Like, how cool is that?
Lauren Bostic
Super cool.
Jesse Solomon
Like, even though these kids might not watch Summer House, like, I don't know, for some reason, like, they think I'm cool.
Lauren Bostic
No, but see, that's like the, like, I think that will bring you more joy and happiness than any other stuff that we've discussed is being able to like, build a platform and then have other people be excited about that platform and inspired by it and feel like they're part of something. You know what I mean? Like, a pile of money is nice, but like that what you're doing will bring you way more joy than that.
Kristin Cavallari
You opened up on the show. You did a five year cancer free check. Did you decide to open up about that so you could inspire people to also go get a check?
Michael Bostic
Or did you just.
Kristin Cavallari
Were you just living your life? Life. And there was cameras there.
Jesse Solomon
It just so happened that it was. My five year checkup was over that summer. I've always been pretty open about having cancer, so it wasn't something I was going to like, hide from my story on the show. I thought it was going to be like a beautiful moment of like, show up, you know, I. I'd been through four of them with no issue. So there was no reason I thought that year five I would have an issue. And then I remember two weeks before the doctor's appointment, I like felt something change on my left nut on my remaining testicle. And I was like, oh, fuck. Did I just, like set myself up to get cancer again on national television? And I started really freaking out. And then I went to the doctor's appointment and he was like, yeah, so we did the scan. Like, this is what I see. Like, what are you talking about? And he was like, oh, you have two things going on. And I was like, oh, my God. Like, I'm totally fucked. And then they were just like two normal things. One was like a calcium buildup.
Lauren Bostic
Jesus Christ.
Jesse Solomon
One was like a blood vessel. They're like, you're fine.
Lauren Bostic
Putting you through the mental.
Jesse Solomon
Yeah.
Lauren Bostic
Oh, my God, man.
Kristin Cavallari
I think Too west was there for you the entire time that you died.
Jesse Solomon
Totally.
Kristin Cavallari
So that's like another dynamic that I think is important to the whole situation.
Jesse Solomon
He's been a great friend to me. Like, I know his family, I know that they're all great people. So it's just like a hard thing to grapple with.
Lauren Bostic
I don't want to get eaten alive here on this because I'm again, like, give me a.
Jesse Solomon
Like, who does?
Lauren Bostic
I'm a novice people. But do these shows, in a way, the environments create these kind of situations and even maybe hope for these situations. So, for example, like, Lauren and I would not be good on these. Cause, like, we wouldn't. We would just. We would. At this point, we would not, like, do we have three kids under six? Like, we just wouldn't bring the craziness that we would have maybe when we were in our 20s. But I imagine, like, you know, the producers there, the show, the audience, they want things.
Podcast Sponsor/Ad Voice
Maybe not this extreme, but they want things like this to happen.
Lauren Bostic
Is there a pressure to kind of
Podcast Sponsor/Ad Voice
almost perform and to have.
Jesse Solomon
No.
Lauren Bostic
No. Okay.
Jesse Solomon
I would say that that's a great thing. That I didn't know what to expect when I joined a reality TV show. I don't watch a lot of reality tv. I was like, is this all real? And you show up and Summer House especially, like, they don't say, hey, show up at 3 o' clock at this restaurant. Like, you're gonna film a scene with this person. Like, we're just in this house for 48 hours. So you really let your guard down. Do you forget the cameras are there at night? For sure.
Kristin Cavallari
You literally forget.
Jesse Solomon
I mean, like, we go out, get drunk, come back, and we're like, eating snacks with our friends. Or like, you forget. Yeah, like, you don't. I mean, sometimes you forget forget. But, like.
Lauren Bostic
But you don't turn around and there's like the giant, the camera with the guy standing there at 10 o'.
Jesse Solomon
Clock.
Kristin Cavallari
Kyle's like, they have surveillance farting on the camera. He must forget. Yeah, Like, Kyle let this huge fart rip on the camera one.
Jesse Solomon
You're either too drunk or you're just like, they're just never gonna use this. Like, you're just out with your friends. Like you're having a night out. Like, you let your guard down. Anyways, all I want to say is that the producers were just as upset as the public. And as our friend group was when this all happened, they, you know, we had a really beautiful thing. You'll see, like, leaving the house the last weekend. We'd never been closer. And I think the thing about our show that people love is, like, we are genuine friends. It's not just like housewives bickering the whole time. It's based off of real friendships. So nobody wants to see the friend group fractured like this. So I would say, like, to this extreme. No, the network's not. Like, ratings are up. Like, the ratings were 50% higher than they ever had been before this whole thing happened. So the show was, like, doing as great as it had ever done. So that's why it was. Like. I said to West, I was like, dude, if you're. If this is happening, please lock it the fuck up. Like, why. You don't need to do this.
Lauren Bostic
I don't care what anyone says. If somebody in. In the quote unquote viz, that network is tickled to death about what's going on, the ratings are through the fucking roof.
Kristin Cavallari
Let's say this. The network is different than the producers kind of.
Michael Bostic
Right?
Kristin Cavallari
It's like a different.
Lauren Bostic
If I put the quote unquote executive hat on, those guys are sitting there on that table licking their chops. They're like, this is great tv. People are tuned in.
Jesse Solomon
Podcast, I don't know.
Lauren Bostic
The health and wellness podcast is diving into the reality. This is.
Jesse Solomon
You know, are we health and wellness?
Lauren Bostic
Well, not today we're not.
Jesse Solomon
Let's get into that.
Kristin Cavallari
I was just going to ask you about health and wellness because I see your aura ring.
Jesse Solomon
Hell, yeah, It's.
Kristin Cavallari
Tell us about your. What's. Jesse's health and wellness tips.
Jesse Solomon
So I. I work out every day.
Kristin Cavallari
Okay.
Michael Bostic
Lift.
Jesse Solomon
I eat clean. I lift probably four or five days a week. I walk a lot. And every morning I make, like, this big hydration drink of, like, colostrum and electrolytes and a whole bunch of stuff. Yeah, I try to be healthy. Obviously. I'm, like, on the road right now on tour, so, like, I'll get some chicken tenders if that's the only thing around. And, like, I drink alcohol sparingly, but right now I'm not drinking. And, yeah, I do some weird shit on tour. I have, like, this nebulizer that, like, hydrates my vocal cords. I have to be on vocal rest. I'm talking a lot right now because I'm here with you guys.
Kristin Cavallari
Sorry.
Jesse Solomon
What a treat.
Lauren Bostic
Sorry.
Jesse Solomon
But typically I'm like, let's get the
Kristin Cavallari
whole audience to come and see you on tour.
Jesse Solomon
Let's get them out.
Kristin Cavallari
So what. What can we expect? And I didn't get an invite last night.
Jesse Solomon
That's so fucked up of me.
Kristin Cavallari
I would have totally been, like, front row.
Jesse Solomon
Well, this is our first time meeting, so you guys. You guys are invited to everything I do for the rest of time.
Kristin Cavallari
Love it. We're in.
Lauren Bostic
We're in.
Jesse Solomon
Oh, I can't wait to be on this 15 person trip that we're gonna go on.
Kristin Cavallari
The 15 per.
Lauren Bostic
Oh, you're ready to be on the trip?
Kristin Cavallari
Yeah, the trip is really fun.
Lauren Bostic
He'd be a good trip, mate. Yeah, he's a great trip. I could tell right away you'd be good on the prompts.
Kristin Cavallari
Did I not tell? I said on the call. I said you are.
Lauren Bostic
Let me tell you something.
Kristin Cavallari
You are. He's very. You're very likable.
Lauren Bostic
These trips are, you know, they're cast. You got to cast a trip. Well, yeah, you got to be real thoughtful about like you're going to go
Kristin Cavallari
on the rock star show. Bravo. He knows how to cast a trip, I'm sure.
Lauren Bostic
But you know, like, sometimes I see people do trips with their friends and if it's not casted well, like it could be.
Jesse Solomon
I. He's aware after this tour, I've got so much going on that I'm going to Turks and Caicos. I've never been. I might just go by myself.
Kristin Cavallari
You know, I will tell you, once you have kids, you are never going to be left alone ever. Like, they will find you. So I think taking a trip by yourself is like, let it rip.
Michael Bostic
This episode is brought to you by Zyzol. I am so allergic to cats. The worst. And I use zyzole allergy 24 hour.
Kristin Cavallari
Okay. If you're like me, if I like
Michael Bostic
even smell a cat, I don't feel good the next day. So it's really important that I always have my Zyzol allergy 24 hour relief in my handbag.
Kristin Cavallari
It starts working and I can tell you guys this quick.
Michael Bostic
It's like in as little as 45 minutes, Zyl relieves allergy symptoms including sneezing, runny nose, itchy watery eyes. I get a lot of watery eyes and an itchy nose and throat for 24 hours. It gives you continuous 24 allergy relief that won't fade. It's also designed to be taken at night, so it's already working at full strength in the morning when pollen levels are the highest. Every home. Eden Rock St. Barts Times the Skinny Confidential. This collaboration has been years in the making. I have been going to Eden Rock Properties for a very long time and I fell in love with the way that they thought about branding. Every single detail. They don't miss anything. It's such an experience. And when I thought about what brand I wanted to collaborate with, Eden Rock immediately came to mind. So we went down to St. Bart's and we sat with their team and we conceptualized what this collaboration would look like. And so it's here. After a year and a half, it is live. The Eden Rock St. Barts Times Skinny Confidential red ice roller. It's in their signature red. It has a gorgeous like, look at this, ah, silver roller. It's so beautiful. It's very summer. You know, I could see this in an ice bucket while you're on the beach enjoying some or a margarita goes right in the ice. And then we also launched Mouth tape. So it's red too. So you're going to get those red lips. Very summer esque. And again it's in the Eden Rock St. Bart's branding. And then we launched facial towels. Everything is limited edition, it's very exclusive. Once it's gone, it's gone. And these facial towels are plastic free, they don't have any formaldehyde in them and they're so adorable to throw in your beach bag. I use them to wipe my kids hands. I use them after an oil cleanse. This collection is so major. I'm so excited about it and it's so fun to see the skinny confidential come to life in red. You can shop our collaboration at the link in the show notes or on Shopify. Ask any confidential.com and if you're at the Eden Rock St Barts property, you can also shop at the Eden Rock St Barts boutique and the spa, Eden Rock St. Barts. Wherever you are. This episode is brought to you by Lauren Bostick for P Volve. That's right. I have launched a kit with P Volve. I designed every single aspect of this kit with the P Volve team and it is gorgeous. As you can see we have 8 pound weights, 12 pound weights, 15 pound weights. Because I am so passionate about getting women to lift heavier. And this kit has heavy weights in it and it also has everything you need for stability and mobility. So in this kit you're really getting everything you could ever want when it comes to fitness. You're also getting access to my P Volve trainer, Dani Coleman. She also happens to be Jennifer Aniston's trainer. She's coached me along this P Volve journey. P Volve has been something that I keep going back to. For the last seven years I've had three babies and it's helped me stay in shape and tighten and tone up. I love the founder, Rachel. I think she's an absolute genius. So when she came to me and wanted to create this custom kit for you guys, I was like, let's do it. It's limited edition. It's gorgeous. It comes in the most beautiful box ever. And the best part is the everything is built with intention. So P Volve core strength pillars are strength, mobility and stability. And this kit hits all of them. This is product that you want out in your living room, in your office. It's esthetically pleasing, it's gorgeous. But most importantly, it works if you want to shrink your body composition and change your life. Start lifting heavy and implement stability and mobility. Lauren Bostic
The other day I had to go to Santa Barbara by myself for this. I was speaking at this thing and she called me. She's like, oh, my God. Like, are you so sad? Do you miss all?
Podcast Sponsor/Ad Voice
My God, it's terrible.
Lauren Bostic
I was eating oysters and caviar.
Kristin Cavallari
I was dick hanging out.
Lauren Bostic
I was laying there in my underpants with a fire going. I was like, this is terrible. I don't know. Like, it was. I was thinking, I was like, this probably the first time in six years that I've just been like, by myself.
Kristin Cavallari
Weird.
Jesse Solomon
Sounds nice.
Lauren Bostic
It was amazing.
Kristin Cavallari
You know what, though? Having kids, I'm sure, is like being on reality television because. Oh, similar.
Podcast Sponsor/Ad Voice
What?
Jesse Solomon
How so?
Kristin Cavallari
Because there's a camera in your face, but it's a kid in your face.
Lauren Bostic
Yeah, but. No, but the thing is.
Jesse Solomon
Yeah, you have to be on.
Kristin Cavallari
Yeah.
Jesse Solomon
Setting a good example.
Kristin Cavallari
Yes.
Lauren Bostic
Yeah, but you're not having the world watch and judge you.
Kristin Cavallari
Yes, that's true. So where do we go from here? Are you going back next summer?
Jesse Solomon
They don't confirm things until, like, very last minute. But there's gonna be a show this summer, I would imagine. And if there's a show, I think I'll be on it.
Kristin Cavallari
We need you on it.
Jesse Solomon
Yeah. It's been such a great thing for my life. I've learned a lot about myself. I've made such great friends. It's allowed me to do music. I mean, the fact that I can hang out with my friends in the Hamptons over the summer and then get to go on tour and make music the rest of the year is, like, such a fun thing.
Michael Bostic
Which song should we download first?
Jesse Solomon
Guess all starts having a moment.
Kristin Cavallari
Yeah, it's all over TikTok.
Jesse Solomon
Everybody's singing it. I mean, I. At my show last night, everybody sings the words like, what a cool thing.
Kristin Cavallari
It's so cool.
Jesse Solomon
And people come up to me in the meet and greet and they're like, you inspired me to leave my job and do what I'M passionate about. And I get so many messages like that, like people connecting with the lyrics.
Kristin Cavallari
You have a great voice, man.
Jesse Solomon
Thank you. Yeah, Yeah.
Kristin Cavallari
A lot of you got it. Like, his voice. Your voice is.
Lauren Bostic
I wish I could sing. I can't sing a note.
Kristin Cavallari
I could sing. I could be a backup.
Jesse Solomon
Yeah, Well, I wish I had you. So I. I call people up on stage for my. My latest song. Overrated. You should also check that out. It's about falling in love with your best friend. Sounds like it could have been about you guys. And the singer dropped out last minute. And so I posted on my Instagram, I was like, can anybody come sing? And this amazing girl showed up and she crushed it. She was so nervous. I felt bad.
Kristin Cavallari
But she did a good job.
Jesse Solomon
But she did a good job. Yeah.
Michael Bostic
Who's the best friend in the film?
Kristin Cavallari
It could have been me. Oh, I do a really mean Disney, like, rendition.
Jesse Solomon
I don't say who I write my songs about.
Kristin Cavallari
Okay. But it is about someone.
Jesse Solomon
Yeah.
Kristin Cavallari
Yeah.
Jesse Solomon
I didn't just make it up.
Kristin Cavallari
Okay. The Internet.
Jesse Solomon
I write songs about, like, my real life experiences.
Kristin Cavallari
So I want to do a TikTok with you. Tell me if you like this idea.
Jesse Solomon
Love it.
Kristin Cavallari
Okay.
Jesse Solomon
So.
Kristin Cavallari
So I look into the camera and I say, you guys, my friend Jesse is going to sing you a song.
Jesse Solomon
You better be nice.
Kristin Cavallari
You better be nice. Michael doesn't get this because Michael's on a TikTok.
Jesse Solomon
Yeah. It's a good trend.
Kristin Cavallari
And then you come and you could do whatever you want to do.
Jesse Solomon
Yeah. Great.
Kristin Cavallari
I think that you're fabulous. I think it's so smart that you're diversifying with your tour and everything that you've got going on. And you have to stay on Summer House as a.
Lauren Bostic
You have to go back on now because I have this weir thing where I, like, I am in and out of these shows now.
Kristin Cavallari
You're gonna be.
Podcast Sponsor/Ad Voice
Once I meet someone now I'm, like, in peripherals.
Lauren Bostic
So now I'm gonna be like, when's it on? And I'm gonna tune into every episode, right?
Jesse Solomon
Yeah. Well, there's a good season going on right now. You could start.
Lauren Bostic
Because now I feel personally, like, I feel personally vested. Almost like when you have, like, your favorite sports team. Now I'm gonna be like, you know, I'm in.
Kristin Cavallari
How can everyone go check out where you're touring? Where can they find you? Where can they say hi? If they're single, maybe they can drop in a dm.
Jesse Solomon
My Instagram's.
Podcast Sponsor/Ad Voice
What are those dms?
Jesse Solomon
Look Like Jesse Saul's. My tour is Jesse Solomon Music Dot com. You can buy tickets and yeah, I'm performing in Dallas tonight. I mean the shows are like, a lot of them are sold out.
Lauren Bostic
Nice.
Jesse Solomon
We, we just sold out Bowery ballroom. It's like 550 people and the show's not for like two and a half months. Yeah, it's. Life is good. I'm so appreciative of you guys having me.
Kristin Cavallari
Who's in your DMs? Is there celebrities?
Jesse Solomon
I wouldn't say that. Like celebrities are just sliding into my dms.
Kristin Cavallari
A lot of hotties.
Jesse Solomon
There's just a lot of people. Men, women, everybody's in there.
Kristin Cavallari
All different kinds.
Jesse Solomon
Yeah.
Kristin Cavallari
Flattering.
Jesse Solomon
It's.
Lauren Bostic
Do you slide into DMS or will you.
Jesse Solomon
I mean if there's somebody that I'm interested in, I'll. What's story?
Kristin Cavallari
You reply the story.
Jesse Solomon
Yeah, but I try to get an intro and I'm off the dating apps at this point. Yeah, I think that's like, it's just too much.
Kristin Cavallari
Yeah.
Jesse Solomon
Too many. Too much optionality. Like I need to focus on one person.
Kristin Cavallari
That's. That's the key. He always talks about this on the show. He's like, when you have too many options, it's overwhelming.
Lauren Bostic
Well, no, listen. I mean I only hear. Well actually hear about it now from some minute. But most of my guy friends are like, they get to the point like what you're saying, they get burnt out. It's like they can't focus and it becomes overwhelming and it becomes kind of messy and stressful.
Jesse Solomon
Yeah. Just like it's like a full time job.
Lauren Bostic
I don't think anyone's good with that much. I think like it's nice to feel like you have a few options, but I think that much optionality becomes really confusing.
Jesse Solomon
Yeah. Like I, I could go to a bar and there's like, you know, 50 girls there or you can go on your phone and it's like unlimited. So it's. I got to cut off the dating apps and yeah. Try to like talk to one person at a time. It's like a good place to start.
Michael Bostic
Lala Kent said she drops in the
Kristin Cavallari
DMs like with this emoji. I thought that was clever.
Jesse Solomon
Well, she's a gorgeous woman.
Kristin Cavallari
Put it out there. She's single.
Jesse Solomon
I'm just saying, like being a guy sliding into girls dms. If you go in with an emoji,
Kristin Cavallari
you can't do that.
Jesse Solomon
Yeah, I can't do that.
Podcast Sponsor/Ad Voice
Fisting emoji would Be.
Kristin Cavallari
No, it's like a. It's like a. You see, people are gonna have to watch YouTube. It's like, I don't.
Lauren Bostic
If a guy sending this emoji.
Jesse Solomon
Yeah, that's just like. It's a really creepy that.
Kristin Cavallari
If I was single, that's. I feel like I would go like this, like. Like, chef's kiss.
Lauren Bostic
Oh, that's what it is.
Jesse Solomon
Chef's kiss.
Lauren Bostic
Yeah. Okay.
Jesse Solomon
Do you guys have any advice for me just, like, aside from dating and life and maybe, like, wellness, whatever?
Kristin Cavallari
Well, I actually do have advice for you, and I was gonna give this to you off air, but I felt really called to tell you this.
Michael Bostic
This.
Jesse Solomon
Okay.
Kristin Cavallari
And I'll say it on air. I was going to tell you off. This is really weird. We had. This is so random. We had a doctor on the show that talked about testicular. Is that how you say it?
Lauren Bostic
Yes. Testicular.
Jesse Solomon
You learned so much today.
Kristin Cavallari
Testicular.
Michael Bostic
A lot of testicle.
Kristin Cavallari
Yeah, testicular and prostate cancer. And he was someone who studied it for years and years. Super smart guy.
Jesse Solomon
Yeah.
Kristin Cavallari
I'll send you his Instagram.
Lauren Bostic
Still does study it.
Kristin Cavallari
And he said that the number one thing that the prostate and test. Testicular. Testicular cancer cells don't like is sulf. I can't speak. Sulforaphane. How do you say it?
Lauren Bostic
I don't know what you're trying to say.
Kristin Cavallari
Broccoli sprouts.
Lauren Bostic
Well, they said that could be. Well, they said that, but they also said, like. And this is really hard to do, but. And it's. There's a million things. I mean, as you know, there's a million things that play into this. But stress is a huge.
Michael Bostic
No, wait, wait, wait.
Kristin Cavallari
The broccoli sprouts, though.
Lauren Bostic
But the broccoli sprouts.
Jesse Solomon
I was like, you guys can give me any advice in the entire world.
Kristin Cavallari
I'll give you the.
Jesse Solomon
What is it? Broccoli sprouts.
Kristin Cavallari
You should be eating broccoli sprouts every day, he said, especially if you're a man. What lane do you want?
Lauren Bostic
I mean, I don't know, man.
Podcast Sponsor/Ad Voice
You seem like you have it together, right?
Lauren Bostic
You got a killer tour going on. You're on a show, you're doing well, you're healthy.
Jesse Solomon
No, I'm just getting better.
Kristin Cavallari
You need to eat broccoli sprouts.
Jesse Solomon
I had a call with a nutritionist this week, and they put together a meal plan for me, but, yeah, a lot of whole foods. Not enough sprouts, though.
Kristin Cavallari
Broccoli sprouts. I'll get into sprouts I'm going to show you.
Michael Bostic
He also has.
Kristin Cavallari
There's a supplement and it has the broccoli sprout supplement. I gave it to my dad. Michael's on it. It's really good for men. I don't know why. Last night I was thinking about interviewing you. I'm like, I feel called to tell you to eat broccoli sprouts.
Lauren Bostic
I think, like, when I think about people in your line of work that do shows publicly, my only piece of advice is to, like. I think it's really important to keep an intact reputation that can carry you into whatever your next version of your career is. And I've seen a lot of people, like, they can in the world of reality. You can burn that down in the wrong way if you're not careful, you're
Kristin Cavallari
doing a good job.
Lauren Bostic
I don't know what the advice is, but he doesn't need a very thoughtful,
Jesse Solomon
you know, get canceled.
Lauren Bostic
It's more of, like, I think people underestimate being well liked and having a strong reputation and having integrity and, like, I think it's hard to come back from that stuff. The other stuff, you can always recover. Everybody makes mistakes. You can say something wrong, but I
Kristin Cavallari
think you've done a good job being very sturdy throughout this whole thing. And it's very nuanced and very complicated and complex and no one will understand unless they're in it. So I think you're doing good.
Lauren Bostic
Doing great.
Jesse Solomon
So much.
Michael Bostic
Jesse.
Lauren Bostic
And we're coming to a show.
Kristin Cavallari
We're coming to a show.
Jesse Solomon
I will be come to LA playing the Troubadour.
Kristin Cavallari
You got to give me the list
Lauren Bostic
because an iconic place.
Jesse Solomon
Yeah. Justin Bieber just played there. Warmed it up for me.
Kristin Cavallari
That's really cool, man.
Lauren Bostic
Nice. It was nice of him to do that for you.
Jesse Solomon
Yeah. I'm releasing another song called Wildfire towards, like, the end of May. That's like a big pop anthem.
Kristin Cavallari
Do you write your songs?
Jesse Solomon
I do, yeah. I'm not big enough where people are, like, coming to me with songs.
Kristin Cavallari
No, I put it out there.
Jesse Solomon
Yeah.
Lauren Bostic
But listen, if you can write your own songs as, you know, like, that's where the real, like, write your own songs.
Jesse Solomon
Yeah, I've got, like, ideas in my head all day. I just recorded the song on the airplane. And a voice memo.
Kristin Cavallari
How'd you do? You just, like, whispered it.
Jesse Solomon
Yeah. I was like, I hope nobody can hear me. But it's actually, like, a really good idea. I'm excited about.
Kristin Cavallari
I see big things.
Jesse Solomon
I'm excited.
Kristin Cavallari
Congratulations.
Lauren Bostic
Don't forget about us along the way.
Jesse Solomon
Man, how could I forget about you guys?
Kristin Cavallari
Eat your broccoli, sprouts.
