S9E21 went out on the 21st of May 2026 LIVE from the TSORR Myoli Beach Studios in the Western Cape. It was great to be back doing the show after last week's Wisdom Teeth episode. The Diabolical Challenge featured four bands from Germany: Scorpions, Accept, Rammstein, and Michael Schenker Group. In the Immortals slot, we had a great tribute to Ronnie James Dio, who passed away this week back in 2016. We listened to him in Rainbow singing 'Stargazer'. You should find it all pretty, pretty, pretty good. The Angels, Guns N' Roses, AC/DC, Metallica, Alice Cooper, Gamma Ray, Helloween, Adam & the Metal Hawks, Girish & the Chronicles, Five Finger Death Punch, Airbourne, Shinedown, Starset, Mötley Crüe, Faith No More, Aerosmith, Iron Maiden, KISS, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Joe Cocker, Nine Inch Nails, ZZ Top, Megadeth, Rainbow, Michael Schenker Group, Scorpions, Accept, Rammstein, Jimmy Eat World, The Stranglers, Neil Young, Judas Priest, Dio, Motörhead, Parkway Drive, Black Label SocietyThe Story of Rock and Roll. Regarding S9E20, the live Story of Rock and Roll Radio Show for 14th of May 2026, could not be recorded due to me being in the hospital, having wisdom teeth out, and not getting home in time to be able to do the show. I stitched together (excuse the pun) three of the latest one-hour TSORR Turbo shows that take place on Bulldogs Radio for an hour every Friday. I hope it will suffice for this week. Usually I would record up front but we've had Cat 8 storms in the Western Cape and no power for 7 out of the last 10 days. There is not enough sun to charge the solar for a 3 hour show and keep the household running. However, there is plenty of good music here just minus the usual Thursday night features like the Diabolical Challenge and Rock and Metal Time Machine. I'll be back to normal for S9E21. Artists featured: Volbeat, Triumph, Van Halen, W.A.S.P, Danzig, Judas Priest, Texas Hippie Coalition, Smith / Kotzen, U2, Cold Chisel, The Gaslight Anthem, The Clash, Tesla, Metallica, Judas Priest, ACDC, The Sweet, Buckcherry, Airbourne, Iron Maiden, Foghat, Cold Chisel, Nazareth, Neil Young, Blue Scream, Parkway Drive, Ozzy Osbourne, Piet Botha & Jack Hammer, Joe Bonamassa, Led Zeppelin, James Reyne, Thin Lizzy, Dave Hause, Motörhead, The Lazys, Van Halen, Oasis, Judas Priest, Megadeth, The Professionals, The UninvitedThe Story of Rock and Roll. S9E19 went out live from the TSORR Studio on Myoli Beach on 7 May 2026 at 18h00 on Bulldogs Radio. This show nearly didn't happen due to 48 hours' worth of power outages and Orange Category 8 storms along the Garden Route coast. I managed to just scrounge enough sun to get some power into the batteries, and this is the result. S9E19 went out live from the TSORR Studio on Myoli Beach on 30 Apr 2026 at 18h00 on Bulldogs Radio. The show marks the anniversary of the passing of my Border Collie Jaxxy, who was my ever-present companion for 13 years. Without getting carried away, the show respectfully paid tribute to this most special boy. We had new releases from Foo Fighters, The Pretty Reckless, Sepultura, and At the Gates, and the Diabolical Challenge was particularly diabolical, featuring Guns N' Roses, Metallica, Boston, and Van Halen. Four albums under USA. Check out the website: www.thestoryofrockandroll.com. All the videos, interviews, and bonus materials for the show are on the site. S9E17 went out live from TSORR Studios on Myoli Beach on the 23rd of April 2026. It was a fun show. Just be aware that after the first song, there's a gap where my microphone didn't work when I was doing the intro announcement. I fix it next song, so as they say "Do Not adjust Your Set". It gives you time to think about how wonderful the music is going to be. Artists featured: The Pretty Reckless, Walking Papers, Mötley Crüe, Michael Schenker Group, W.A.S.P., Motörhead, 12th Avenue, Rush, Volbeat, Judas Priest, Black Label Society, Deep Purple, The Who, Poison, Stone Temple Pilots, The Rolling Stones, Def Leppard, Black Sabbath, Interview - Dylan Tori, Dylan Tori, Iron Maiden, Live, Creedence Clearwater Revival, KISS, Wishbone Ash, Rose Tattoo, Cold Chisel, Powderfinger, ACDC, Airbourne, Myles Kennedy, My Chemical Romance, The Rolling Stones, Nickelback, Nita Strauss & Alissa White Gluz, Pink FloydThe Story of Rock and Roll. S9E 16 of The Story of Rock and Roll radio show went out live from the TSORR studio in Myoli Beach on the 16th of April 2026. It was a tough show for me, very emotional. It was dedicated to Nigel Stock, a friend and business partner, a mentor, an inspiration, and an exceptional human being who befriended me 33 years ago. Nigel passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, 11 April 2026, and I am forever grateful that I had a perfect day with him earlier that very day. The show was dedicated to Nigel, and those of you who knew him will probably get quite a lot out of it. For those who didn't, the music should carry you through. He will be sorely missed. Rest in peace, Nigel. Thank you for everything. Artists featured: Foo Fighters, The Rolling Stones, Sixx A.M., U2, Dave Davies, Cold Chisel, Shinedown, Judas Priest, The Diamond Dogs, Halestorm, Iron Maiden, The Beatles, Queen, The Cult, David Bowie, Temple of the Dog, Godsmack, Motörhead, Rainbow, Ozzy Osbourne, Staind, Iron Maiden, Billy Gibbons, Rory Gallagher, Ayron Jones, Gary Moore, Uriah Heep, Leslie West, Boston, Leonard Cohen, Alter Bridge, Zakk Wylde, MetallicaThe Story of Rock and Roll. S9E15 went out live from the TSORR Studio on Myoli Beach on 9 Apr 2026 at 19h00 on Bulldogs Radio. The podcast is great, but the live show was a struggle because of the internet failure, and the whole Garden Route went down. Then it came back, and it went down for about half an hour, and you just lose your momentum with the live audience. The joys of a country that refuses to allow us to have Star Link as a back up. The diabolical challenge featured Billy Gibbons, Zakk Wylde, Sammy Hagar and Jerry Cantrell. The Immortals featured Dragon Force. I had a very interesting chat to GAZ and played his brand new track which will be released on 17 Apr. S9E14 went out live from TSORR Studios in Myoli Beach on the 2nd of April 2026. It was a great show; I thoroughly enjoyed it after missing last week's show due to a family medical situation and a disastrous Airbnb experience. It was super to be back behind the mic, and I used the show to recount some of the stories, the adventures, and the highlights of the trip. There was a very funny and interesting interview with the insanely talented Craig V, with whom I spent time while on the road. There are a lot of new releases/discoveries. Other than a duff start where the mic had to be reset, it was one of my favourite shows ever. Artists featured: Rob Zombie, The Lazys, The L.A. Maybe, Nickelback, Blue Öyster Cult, Black Label Society, Marilyn Manson, Cold Chisel, Nick Perri & the Underground Thieves, Sevendust, POD, Dave Lee Roth, Guns N' Roses, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, ACDC, Aerosmith, Eric Clapton, Interview - Craig V, Last Dart Dave, Led Zeppelin, Cheap Trick, Manowar, Marcus King, Joe Bonamassa, Dan Patlansky, Ayron Jones, Lost Society, Blue Medusa, Exodus, Lyzyrd Kyngs, Valiant Swart, Black Label SocietyThe Story of Rock and Roll. Please accept my apologies for no live show this week. I am in Paarl in the Western Cape, bought my little Border Collie and 3 other dogs on a 6-hour trip from Sedgefield, she had to have a CT scan to see if she can have a tumour on her liver removed. The CT scan went fine, she goes in today for the op, but the person I booked accommodation with has double booked us, and we are getting thrown out in a few hours. This unfortunately means no show tonight, even though I have everything with me to do one. One of my mates has kindly offered to put us up for two nights, but we'll be travelling to him and I can't walk in and start recording a show live when he has offered his hospitality. Here are 3 of the Friday TSORR Turbo shows I do every Friday on Bulldogs between 18h00 and 19h00 SA time. I've stitched them together, I hope it will be an acceptable substitute for this week. The Story of Rock and Roll. TSORR - Your one-stop shop for Rock

S9E12 went out live from the TSORR Studio on Myoli Beach on 19 Mar 2026 at 19h00 on Bulldogs Radio. It was a great show, upbeat and full of fun, despite the drama that seems to surround us these days. The sad passing of Motörheads Phil Campbell at the age of 64 took me by surprise, so we paid our respects to Phil. I had a great interview with Mark Biagio of the Fismits and listened to his brand-new track, which is being released on 20 March, so check that out. I also played some more Springbok Nude Girls to make amends for last week. Dan Patlansky featured on the new Ruff Majik track. I call this Metal Dan, and I love it. The diabolical challenge was fun with the hard rock heroes Gary Moore, Jimi Hendrix, Frank Marino, and Ted Nugent, and we chilled out nicely with Pink Floyd’s masterpiece 'Time' in the Immortals slot.
