Another year, another batch of releases of talented people from the WWE. So it's time to talk about some of the releases and the weird decisions as to why. Basically, capitalism. TKO capitalism this time! We'll be back soon with far more positive episodes.

Video Editing has proved to be an amazing tool for fandoms and creatives to pay tribute to their favourite pastimes. Pro Wrestling has a storied history of video editors online and on this episode, Sam and Riordan (both video editors themselves) are joined by one of the most prolific editors in the wrestling space, JOSHIGIO as they all have a frank discussion on editing, what it has done for them in the scene and collaborative nature of the scene as a whole. Buckle up, it's quite the emotional one. 𝐉𝐎𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐈𝐎 has a podcast of his own with Tony D! It's called the Cooked Since Birth Podcast and you can find it here: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/cooked-since-birth-podcast/id1870277121

There are some matches that change the very fabric of the wrestling industry. Where two opponents who never met until their fated day, instantly connect and create magic... And some very crazy highspots! On this episode, we're joined by uber Omega fan Fey of our dear friends on Untitled Wrestling Podcast to discuss the match that really was love at first sight. Kenny Omega vs Kota Ibushi from DDT Pro in 2008.

Hey everyone! Apologies for the gap, we've had a lot of life stuff happen as well as guests having the same thing. So we had to take a couple weeks off to recoup and decompress. We're back and we're here to have a proper chat about this weird point we all find ourselves in as fans. The first real downward trend in WWE since the TKO merger and under Hunter's leadership. We chat about how we got here, what has come about it and what these deal and partnerships have meant not only to WWE, but to wrestling as a whole. It's a different episode for sure, but one we had to do considering all of factors! We'll be back to our regular wacky selves next episode.

Finn Bálor. Man what a twisty, turny and ultimately fruitful time he has had in WWE. He built his legacy in Japan and came over as a huge deal in WWE, starting in NXT and building the Black & Gold brand from his demonic fingers to his main roster run thrusted into the main event scene before carving his path back from injury all the way to WrestleMania title matches and eventual leadership of The Judgment Day. On this episode, the chaps are joined by their fifth member, old friend of the pod and pro wrestler Tig to discuss Finn's run in the WWE!

It's the most romantic time of the year as we mark this Valentine's Day with a very important topic: Who do we as fans ships wrestlers with other wrestlers? Riordan is on hosting duties as him and Sam go over the much debated topic of the internet fandom and wonder if love can truly bloom in the squared circle. NOTE: as we clarify in the episode, we're shipping the on-screen characters and gimmicks, not the people portraying them!

We discussed the event as part of the last episode on Channel 4, but now it's time to finally talk about this iconic match in great detail! This Match Focus is on Cactus Jack vs Triple H. Sam and Riordan chat about the story that led to this match, the long rivalry of the two and the brutality of the match.

The WWF was one of the big pop culture touchstones of the late 90's. With that comes vested interest from broadcasters to bring it to a wider television audience. Sky Sports were the main channel of WWF in the UK for a long time, but only to a select few who had access to cable television. Come late 1999, Channel 4 wanted to bring the product to terrestrial television for the first time and struck a deal with the WWF, only for them to instantly regret that decision. Find out why as Sam and Riordan discuss the weird time of Channel 4 and the World Wrestling Federation.

2025. A weird year. A very testing and different year in Pro Wrestling. A lot of things changed but a lot of things came from it. There was good though and this year is celebrated on the 6th Annual Sweet Chinwag Awards. Riordan, Sam and a pre-recorded Dan give you their favourites, though quite shrunk down from previous years due to them taking a long break in the middle!

With the end of the year in sight, we need to discuss John Cena. His retirement year, his best moments, matches and rivalries. We're not alone, as we are joined by our dear friends Tyler El Guapo and The Good Bad Bruv Podcast! We wish you all a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and we'll see you next year!
