May 25, 2026 - Season 16, Episode 140 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Monday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right into discussing the forthcoming week for the Pittsburgh Steelers that will include their second set of OTA practices. We go over this week's OTA schedule and how we are expected to hear from several of the team's positional coaches on Wednesday. On the heels of a few recent comments made by Steelers OT Dylan Cook, Alex and I have a lengthy discussion about his outlook for the 2026 season. We discuss the possibility of Cook opening the 2026 regular season as the starting right tackle and how this is a big upcoming season for him as it relates to his future in the NFL and especially when it comes to potential earnings. In the middle of this Monday show, Alex and I look back at the history that Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers has had with rookie wide receivers and especially when it comes to his time with the Green Bay Packers. We go over the reception stats of several wide receivers when they played with Rodgers in Green Bay as rookies. After discuss Rodgers's history with rookie wide receivers, Alex and I discuss what that might mean for Steelers rookie WR Germie Bernard in 2026. We discuss the possibility of Bernard having rookie season much like the one that WR Randall Cobb had in 2011 with the Packers. As part of this discussion, Alex and I set and over/under line for Bernard when it comes to his rookie 2026 reception total. Alex recently wrote about four statistical areas that the Steelers’ defense must improve in when it comes to the 2026 season so we discuss all of those and how each could make substantial impacts. Later in this show, Alex and I discuss the Steelers when it comes to their history of adding players to their offseason roster after mandatory minicamp that wind up ultimately making the 53-man roster. We go over a few position groups that probably best stand a chance for a similar post mandatory minicamp outcome. This 79-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted in the recap above and we make sure to answer a few listener emails we have received to close out this show. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices. May 22 – Ep. 101: For today's episode, Joe Clark and Ross McCorkle discuss Aaron Rodgers' return to the Steelers for one last season and what it means for the rest of the quarterback room. Next, we discuss the offensive line configurations at OTAs including two starters flipping sides from last season, and discuss which rookie OL will start first. For the last topic, we discuss the NFL schedule release and the Steelers' toughest stretch during the upcoming 2026 season. We wrap up the show with a listener question about Eli Heidenreich. May 22, 2026 - Season 16, Episode 139 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Friday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right into discussing Pittsburgh Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers holding his first press conference this past week and on the heels of him signing his new contract. Alex and I make sure to parse several key things that Rodgers said a few days ago and that includes us talking about his announcement that 2026 will be his final NFL season. We also make sure to go over all the details of the contract that Rodgers signed recently. The Steelers released their 2026 training camp schedule on Thursday, so Alex and I make sure to recap those dates and the notable different changes that are included in it as well. Steelers HC Mike McCarthy addressed the media a few days ago to discuss OTAs and the return of Rodgers, so we make sure to parse everything that was notable to come out of his mouth. We hyper focus some on what McCarthy had to say of OT Troy Fautanu and OG Mason McCormick both likely to shift to the left side of the offensive line for the 2026 season. Alex and I take some time to discuss what OT Broderick Jones had to say this past week during an interview. We go over the plausibility of Jones not being ready for the start of training camp, and the possibility of him starting the 2026 regular season on the Reserve/PUP list. We also make sure to address the possibility of Jones not playing at all in 2026 and then having the final year of his contract toll next offseason should that wind up happening. During this show, Alex and discuss whether improvements of either the offense or defense in 2026 could have a greater impact on the team in 2026 and why. This 122-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted in the recap above and we make sure to answer a few listener emails we have received to close out this show. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices. May 20, 2026 - Season 16, Episode 138 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right into discussing the Pittsburgh Steelers signing a new player to their offseason roster in rookie UDFA CB Tamon Lynum. With the Steelers first OTA practices of 2026 now in the books, Alex and I discuss the several larger takeaways from the team's Monday session. We discuss the initial offensive line configurations, who played where and if there are any hard reads to make when it comes to that unit. We also make sure to discuss what OT Troy Fautanu had to say on Monday about hoping he gets to play more alongside OG Mason McCormick moving forward into 2026. Is it possible that the Steelers end up only keeping eight total offensive linemen on their initial 53-man roster this year? In an attempt to answer that question, Alex and look at the total number of offensive linemen that HC Mike McCarthy opened regular seasons with during his four seasons with the Dallas Cowboys. We discuss how the ultimate health status of OT Broderick Jones might play into the number game and who might draw the short stick on the offensive line if only eight in total are kept out of the chute. Alex and I make sure to address the initial quarterback pecking order to start OTAs and whether that rotation will remain the same throughout OTAs and the start of training camp. We also address QB Drew Howard potentially getting a long look during the preseason as part of him starting at least one of those contests and coming off the bench for at least one other one. The Steelers’ three new coordinators, Brian Angelichio, Patrick Graham, and Danny Crossman, all met the media on Tuesday, so Alex and I make sure to parse all of the key things each had to say. When it comes to Graham, specifically, Alex and I discuss the level of impact his addition could have on the Steelers' 2026 season when it comes to the team potentially just more than a playoff team that could be one-and-done in the postseason like last season. Besides Fautanu, several other players met the media on Monday, so Alex and I make sure to cover a few additional talking points that several provided us. This 101-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted in the recap above and we make sure to answer a few listener emails we have received to close out this show. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices.
