Isn'T dying it's evolving here is the truth youtube shorts now surpass tiktok daily views by a lot i think it's one hundred billion daily views youtube on tv continues to grow massively in the next seven years the creator economy is going to grow by four x so it's not that youtube is shrinking it's that viewership is more divided than ever before and sometimes we ask ourselves like man i kind of feel down does that knock you out for one day two days three days that really sucked i put a ton of effort into that video i'm really gonna pout about it and complain for ten minutes and then i'm gonna lock back in and do the next one i think that's where the game of youtube is won or lost on the day where you get up and you film when you don't feel like it four tips of how to win on youtube hard mode because you can still win but i think it takes more energy and effort right now so first of all the.

Changed yeah and i think everybody is feeling this right now a lot of people are reporting that views are down and they're disillusioned because there was this trend in so many youtube titles and so many youtube videos youtube easy mode youtube's on easy mode now and there was some truth to that because if you could package a video right you could break out in the algorithm as a small creator which is still true but everyone's also feeling the youtube views recession that's happening right now and so i actually wrote down four different case studies i'm curious your thoughts on that i wrote down kind of some of the changes that are happening and four tips of how to win on youtube hard mode because you can still win but i think it takes more energy and effort right now so first of all let's just look at some of these case studies and you know if people are watching this on youtube i would love to know in the comments are your views down right now are they up if you've been established for a while what are some of the trends you're noticing obviously on audio you can't comment but here's some of the case studies you mentioned gary vaynerchuk yeah he recently launched a brand new vlog channel to isolate out his daily vlogs and we went to his channel at the time of recording this and the most popular one the peak views was around eight thousand views and most of these episodes are getting around one to two thousand views so i think that's something to pay attention to if gary vaynerchuk with a team of fifty plus people devoted to his personal brand with as many years as he's building his personal brand it proves that even legends start from zero again that if that's gary vee and you want to start a new youtube channel i think you should have realistic expectations and so i think a takeaway is even the best start over when the game resets don't compare your beginnings to somebody else's decade and even legends have to start from scratch now a second case study i have a dog creator friend like really cute dogs been vlogging it's all about the dogs they're the main characters they were in our livestream recently and they're like our views have dropped fifty percent even though our quality standards are high and so i don't know some possible causes could be ai distraction shorts taking attention audience fragmentation but the point is the audience hasn't disappeared but it is more divided like you're not losing you're competing in the new attention economy like there's more creators to watch you know if people want entertaining content of cute dogs there might be a lot of ai content that is stealing their attention i'm curious what are your thoughts on these first two case studies no it's.
