So this is something crazy that I learned about electrolytes that I did not know before. Low sodium diets, you know, when you cut back on your salt, can actually contribute to insulin resistance. Well, in addition to me sharing these tips and strategies with you of how to heal very, very quickly after surgery, I am also sharing the fact, if you haven't seen it on social, that I got my pathology report back and I am officially cancer free. I had a little bit of a like a background noise thing. We go, yay. Confetti would shoot out all of that fun stuff, but the experience of going through this journey. And let me first say that I fully realize and recognize that I had what I would call a baby cancer. Now, whenever I say that to anyone, they're always like, there are no baby cancers. Cancer is cancer. And that is true when you hear that C word. That C word is scary af, and no one ever wants to hear it. But I am also deeply humbled and very grateful that it wasn't a later stage, that I caught it at a very early stage where they could take it all out. And I can. And I can sit here and say to you that I'm cancer free. And I know that is not an easy phrase because not everyone gets to say that sometimes this is a battle that someone will go on for years. Now, that being said, I also don't, I, I don't discount the fact that I have circulating tumor cells and that recurrence is real. So what I'm sharing with you today is not only the start of many different episodes that I will be sharing with you of how my life has changed and what I will be doing from here on out to prevent cancer and never hear that C word again. It's also me sharing with you what I already have done and what I did immediately after surgery to speed heal. So it's kind of a combination. What we're going to talk about today are the things that I did post surgery to heal from the hysterectomy, which really is a big surgery. Here's my realization. Hysterectomies are given every single single day. And I think the medical community treats them like, like they're taking out your tonsils. But it's so much more than that. It is big, it's bad, it's invasive, and it's emotional because they are removing our womb. So there's a whole lot that goes into having a hysterectomy. And then when you're having that surgery to remove a cancer and you're not just having it because you had some polyps or you have heavy cycles and you're, you're thrilled to stop your period when you're having it because they have to remove cancer, that just gives a whole other layer number one. It's, here's what I did to speed heal and here's what you can do and apply to your life right now to heal from torn rotator cuff or any kind of surgery that may be coming down your pipe. But especially if you are dealing with a cancer diagnosis, if you are faced with a big, scary Surgery that's going to derail your life for a period of time. This is what I want to share with you. Okay, so enough of the prelude. Let's get right into it. There will be many more episodes, but I want to break down what I consider the top five things that I did and implemented immediately before and after surgery to speed up my healing. Because who has six weeks to not lift weights? Who has six weeks to never be in the gym? Not this girl. And I certainly can't take all that time off and just do nothing but rest and watch Netflix. That was fun for a couple of days, but now it's time to get back to life. The very first thing that I implemented, even prior to surgery, I was doing it prior to surgery, but the very first thing that I implemented was my Hashimoto's Fixer. Yeah. Shameless plug for her supplement. Well, no, here's why. Because black cumin seed oil is so incredibly powerful when it comes to reducing inflammation across the board. So. So even though it's called Hashimoto's Fixer, it is really universal when we're talking about any autoimmune condition or any kind of inflammation. Now, I can say without doubt that the inflammation that I experienced after my surgery was huge. And that was actually more debilitating than the surgery itself. When your body feels like one big ball of fire, when you can actually feel the swelling and the inflammation happening, you know that that is number one. It's going to, it's going to help with your healing when we're inflamed. But at the end of the day, we want to be able to take that down eventually and we want to calm down that inflammatory response. Black cumin seed does so many things for our body. Like I already said, it reduces that autoimmune attack. So if you are dealing with any kind of autoimmunity, any kind of autoimmunity whatsoever, and you add in black cumin seed oil, you will reduce the antibodies across the board. Whether it's RA or lupus or type 1 diabetes or Hashimoto's, you are going to see a reduction in those antibodies, inflammation. So black cumin seed helps with rheumatoid arthritis, Any kind of arthritis. It reduces blood levels of inflammatory markers. If you're looking at your C reactive protein, it will literally take that down. There was one really interesting double blind placebo controlled study. 43 women had mild to moderate rheumatoid arthritis. They took black cumin seed oil or a placebo daily for a month and Then when they compared it, of course to the placebo group, those who took the black cumin seed oil reported reductions in the arthritis symptoms, the blood levels of inflammatory markers and the number of swollen joints they have. Or black cumin seed oil actually helps with psoriasis, eczema, acne, helps reduce your weight, helps with allergies and nasal inflammation. And so this is how potent it is when it comes to hitting those inflammatory markers. It really is incredible. Now the other thing that black cumin seed does, and I have said this on other podcasts as well, it is one of the only, it is one of the only supplements out there that we can say reduces risk of cancer. Now please do not sit there and go, well you got cancer and obviously you were taking it beforehand. Listen, there are so many, and I've said this in other podcasts, there are so many different causes of cancer, so many different causes. But the bottom line is right now we are using black cumin seed oil or nigella sediva for the treatment, the treatment of cancer. And I got to tell you, unless you have a multitude of studies backing that claim, you will get shut down. Anyone that is saying it, promoting it, they will get shut down. But you know what, there's enough studies out there where we can say, my God, black cumin seed actually helps with the prevention and the treatment of cancer. Now the active ingredient, black cumin seed is thymoquinone. And thymoquinone is what was actually studied as that, that potent ingredient in a variety of different cancers. Breast cancer, colon cancer, pancreatic skin fibrosarcoma, renal cancer, prostate cancer, cervical cancer. It's, it's just amazing. So it's antiproliferative, so it will stop cancer from growing. So obviously I am now using it for the anti inflammatory effects post surgery and further prevention of those circulating tumor cells from turning into something else. Anti proliferative means it's stopping the, the growth and the spread of cancer. The anti cancer impacts of black cumin seed are exponentially critical. Again, thymoquinone is the connection to that impact. Thymoquinone has been found to have a few useful impacts on cancer cells. Now I'm actually reading from this study right now. It can offer assistance to halt their development. Empower cell passing, meaning apoptosis, cell death of the cancer cell itself. It can secure against harm caused by some substances called oxidants. So Nigella sativa, black cumin seed, Thymoquinone has three different names, actually acts as a, an antioxidant. So whenever we are exposed to reactive oxygen species. That's what damages our cells. That can increase cancer cell proliferation. Thymochondone acts as an antioxidant. It decreases the probability of changes. It anticipates the arrangement of modern blood vessels that tumors have to develop, and it moderates the spread of cancer cells to other parts of the body, Stopping the growth and spread. Just amazing. Nigela sativa herb has been or has appeared to have properties that can battle cancer and literally murder cancer cells. So, yes, to say that hashimoto's fixer is a part of my ongoing protocols Would be an understatement. An absolute understatement. Okay, next up, what I use to speed heal is my mitolux red light. So I would shine that red light directly on my abdomen, Specifically on my scars. But I also know that that red light is penetrating deep to help heal internal wounds as well. So when we look at red light therapy, Specifically with mitolux, Red light therapy, or photobiomodulation, stimulates cellular energy. Let me say that again. Red light therapy, also known as photo biomodulation, Stimulates cellular energy production by activating cytochrome c oxidase in the mitochondria. That increases ATP, which is the fuel that cells need to repair and regenerate. So this can help surgical incisions close faster, and it can reduce scar formation. Now, red light also reduces inflammation and swelling. So I hit the inflammation with the black cumin seed. I hit it with the red light. So one of the biggest challenges post surgery is inflammation, and that inflammation can delay healing and obviously increase pain. So the red and the near infrared wavelengths, usually 630 to 850 nanometers, that helps to modulate inflammatory pathways. It reduces swelling and oxidative stress in the tissues. So less inflammation means less discomfort and faster recovery. It improves circulation and oxygen delivery. So red light increases microcirculation, which brings more nutrients and oxygen to the healing area. Better circulation, obviously, is going to help remove cellular waste products and support that rebuilding of healthy tissue. It enhances collagen production. So anytime that we are cut into, we need that increase in collagen production to help heal the wound. So red light has been shown to stimulate fibroblasts, which the cells that produce collagen and elastin. And this improves the scar appearance and tissue integrity over time. My scars right now, as I record this, I am 14 days after my surgery, and my scars are itty bitty. They're barely red anymore. I'm going to look at one right now. So, yeah, it's just this tiny little mark. I know you can't see it on the, on the hair. If you want to go to YouTube. There you go. It's just this tiny little red mark that is barely visible. And that is how quickly I healed all of my surgical incisions. I also found that the red light really helped with the musculoskeletal pain because did you know that in a hysterectomy they flip you upside down? Well, not totally. They basically invert you. And I have found, especially with my scoliosis, that my back will sit spasm so badly if I am laying on a hard surface, I. E. An operating room table. And if I invert for a period of time, it's like my back muscles just spasm. So I was also using the metal lux red light on my back because it, it absolutely helps with post operative pain and chronic musculoskeletal pain. Red light helps support immune function. It helps regulate immune cells in the area of injury, promoting a balanced healing environment rather than excessive inflammation. And already said excessive inflammation is going to decrease your healing time. It can improve mood and energy after surgery. More oxygen to your cells. Anytime you can increase oxygen. Cancer cannot live in an oxygenated environment. It doesn't like. It does not like oxygen. That's why we use things like the hyperbaric oxygen chamber. Now, that is not readily accessible to most people. So I'm not going to include that in these top five because I want these top five to be things that you can easily implement in your own life. So anytime we can increase oxygen, we decrease our risk of cancer because cancer cells don't like that oxygenated environment. Okay, next up, my come back to the fixer line. Hormone fixer. This is such a key component, such a key component in healing. Did you know, ladies and gentlemen, that testosterone and your testosterone levels are imperative for healing? If we do not have adequate testosterone levels, we cannot heal. Testosterone plays a huge role in healing. It influences muscle recovery, bone healing, wound healing. It increases muscle protein synthesis. It accelerates fracture healing. And many, many studies are showing that it will help with wound healing of the skin. If we do not keep our testosterone levels adequate, what do we see? We see increased inflammation. We see increased expression of autoimmune conditions. So if you have Hashimoto's, you can get an autoimmune flare. And that's basically the last thing you want when you're trying to heal. And even when we're looking at cancer prevention, anyone with an autoimmune condition is, has a greater propensity, a greater risk of developing cancer because our. And I will include myself in their immune systems are just a little bit off. Now, when we're talking about the entire immune system and our bodies fighting cancer, there are so many different layers and levels to this. And there are even genetic markers that dictate whether or not your body can spot a cancerous cell and go after it and attack it. But we want to look at that big picture. Things that are, again, easily implementable for all of us and things that don't Require you to see a specialist to get a special genetic test to decipher whether or not those markers mean that your body can't detect and kill off cancer cells. Like that's getting a little bit too complex. Let's keep it simple. Adequate testosterone will help to keep that autoimmune attack at bay and will ultimately help your immune system. One of the reasons why men get less Hashimoto's than women is because they have beautiful adequate testosterone levels. Well, most of you do. So even a guy with a piss poor T level of let's say a 400 still has more testosterone naturally occurring than does a woman. Women's testosterone levels usually again naturally without the use of TRT will usually fall anywhere between zero, which is horrible and like 70. Now we ultimately want your testosterone level, your total testosterone level as a woman to be above a 55050 all the way up to 150 is usually that sweet spot for women where they're going to feel their best. And that's what Hormone fixer helps to do to naturally raise your testosterone levels in a woman. It also increases the natural killer cell activity, which is important for surveilling infections and for surveilling of the abnormal cancer cells. Tongkat Ali, which is another really potent ingredient in Hormone fixer. It's a southeast Asian root usually used for energy, stress, resilience, libido and testosterone. But it has an adaptogenic and stress lowering property to it. So we know that chronic stress suppresses the immune function by elevating cortisol. So tongkat Ali has been shown to lower cortisol and restore balance to that hypothalamus pituitary adrenal axis, the HPA axis, indirectly supporting a healthier immune response. We also see that tongkat ali can stimulate phagocytosis, where immune cells engulf and destroy pathogens. So again, when we're getting out and we're destroying and we're helping our body to destroy, kind of like a little pac man, to literally destroy those pathogenic cells in our body, the cancer cells in our body, or toxins or, or anything that is invading our body, Increasing inflammation and increasing our risk of cancer, Tongkat Ali can come in and literally wipe them out and engulf them. Tongkat Ali supports T cell and natural killer cell function. So stacked with tribulus, now we have a one, two punch to our immune system and to increasing our natural killer cells. Important for both innate and adaptive immunity. Something we heard so much of back in 2020. And like Tribulus, tonat ali also contains antioxidants that protect immune cells from oxidative stress. So this helps to maintain immune surveillance for those cancer cells and response capacity, Especially during stress or during recovery. Antimicrobial effects ton also inhibit certain bacteria and parasites, which may indirectly reduce the pathogen burden on the immune system. Now, many of you responded to my Instagram posts telling me before my surgery, hey, you got to look at parasites. Parasites are a huge trigger of cancer. And I will be going down that rabbit hole in a multitude of podcasts where we look at that research of how parasites are tied to cancer. But anything we can do that is anti parasitic, from using ivermectin to doing a full parasite protocol, to adding something like hormone fixer with toncatalie will absolutely help. And then the other thing that I notice when I add in, and I've said this many times in various posts, When I add in hormone fixer before workout, I am stronger. And I truly believe that that has been a key component in my healing and in allowing me to get back to the gym at 10 days out instead of 42 days. We're doing that. Yeah, I think I'm. Yeah, 42 days. The healing that I have experienced in such a short amount of time, I truly, truly believe is because of all of these things that I put in place, all of them, because they all have such a tremendous impact on how my body has healed. Now last but not least, I need to give props number five peptides. Now there's a couple different peptides in there that I use for healing. Number one, this one is going to surprise you ever so slightly. Now I use semaglutide is actually more potent as an anti inflammatory peptide than is tirasepatide. So I checked with my dear friend and colleague Tina Moore and I said wait, so everybody's using tirzepatide more for the microdosing? Most people are depending on their goal, but I keep hearing that semaglutide is a little bit better for inflammation. And she said yes, because semaglutide is a true GLP1 and that's what has those anti inflammatory effects. Now you will still get a little bit of inflammation reduction with tirzabatide, but when I implemented semaglutide after my surgery, significant decrease in inflammation. Again stacked with Hashimoto's fix or stacked with all of the other things I'm doing to hit inflammation. I mean my inflammation dropped like that. It was literally two to three days of being really swollen and really inflamed and then the shift started happening and really over the course of that first 10 days, that's when I knew I'm going to be fine to get back into the gym. Yes, I'll start with little weights and work my way up. I know they say nothing over 10 pounds which really means 30 for me. So yes, I was doing bicep curls with 15s in each hand and it felt great. Today I did some squats, no weight and some leg extensions and some kickbacks. Gotta get that, gotta get the lower body and the glutes involved now. So GLP1s have helped tremendously with the reduction of inflammation when used in the proper form as a microdose. Also included in my peptide stack is that what I call the Wolverine stack. Some people call it the glow stack. I'm not quite sure how it got the glow name. Wolverine I like better because I heal like freaking Wolverine. BBC 157TB 500 GHKCU. Quick overview of those. BBC 157 body protective compound can be used for acute injury. Like if you pull a muscle, tweak your back. I've used it in that instance and it helps immediately with healing. It basically kicks up the body's healing response. Now I have used this peptide stack after every single surgery I've ever had. Whether it's aesthetic surgery or a big bad take the cancer out with a hysterectomy surgery and it helps every single time. So BBC 157TB 500 also increases circulation. We mentioned that earlier, the different modalities that we just went over, increasing circulation is going to decrease inflammation and improve any kind of wound healing from internal to external. So the scar on my belly or scars on my belly or internally where I still have internal sutures, TB 500 and GHKCU, which also speeds wound healing, tremendously increases collagen and elastin. That's why we also use GHKCU for improvement of our skin, increase in collagen, elastin in our skin, decrease of wrinkles and improvement in hair. But it's really known for wound healing. So that Wolverine stack of BPC157, TB500 and GHKCU, I've been using that every single day as well. Well, after my surgery and those are really the top things that I believe has exponentially increased my healing. So Hashimoto's fixer, the align mat, the mitolux red lights hormone fixer and the peptides GLP1, VPC157 and TB500. Hopefully this gives you a little bit of insight. I'm not saying that, oh, go ahead and have a surgery and then get back in the gym 32 days prior to what your doctor tells you to. It's always about listening to your body and knowing your body. But if you can do these things to speed up your healing and get back to your life overall. And then if you can implement these things that we talked about today that truly do many of them have anti proliferative and anti cancer effects, then if you're in the same boat as me, or if you're just in the boat of oh my God, this woman who is healthy, got cancer. I need to step up my game. I'm stepping up my game so you can step up your game as well in the whole prevention department, then come on this journey with me of prevention now and let's take this to a whole nother level because you don't want to ever hear the C word. And if you've heard it already, I am sorry. My heart goes out to you. I know how it feels. If you have not yet heard it, you don't ever want to. So use these things that I'm I'm telling you about to take your healing to the next level and to truly prevent cancer, prevent you or any loved one from ever hearing the C word. Now, these are very, very simple things that anybody can add in.
