Badass human that you're meant to be. So if you're battling weight gain and loss, you can't lose weight no matter what you do. Your energy levels are plummeting and your libido left town, then you're in the right place and you have found your tribe. Remember, I want you to embrace every.
Robin Switzer
Inch of that badass woman that you truly are.
Dr. Amy
So if you're ready to dive in.
Robin Switzer
And fix things, let's get started. Are you absolutely frustrated with working with doctors that keep telling you that you're normal and everything is fine, or are you frustrated with going the functional medicine or integrative medicine route and you're still not getting optimized? Maybe because they're focusing on other things other than the thyroid and hormones or they're not a thyroid and hormone expert. Listen, just because you go to a functional medicine practitioner, it does not mean they know what they're doing with your thyroid and with your hormones. They might tell you they do, but the reality is, if you claim to be good at everything, you're really good at nothing. That is why we focus on thyroid and hormones now.
Dr. Amy
Yes.
Robin Switzer
What else is involved in thyroid and hormones? You got insulin, you got your adrenals, you got cortisol. Of course the gut is important. Of course it is. Nutrient deficiencies, all the things. But we look at all of that and the bottom line is you could do all the gut healing protocols, detoxes, adrenal fairy dust sprinkling that you want to do. And if your thyroid is in the toilet, if you're not being treated properly, if your free T3 is low, if your reverse T3 is high, if your hormones are in the tank, then it doesn't matter. You're going to be wasting your time, you're going to be wasting money, you're.
Dr. Amy
Going to be throwing a bunch of.
Robin Switzer
Supplements at it, just getting more and more frustrated and getting supplement fatigue. You need to work with people that will hold your hand, actually care about you, ask you how you're feeling, not have a cap on any kind of dosing oh, that drives me crazy too. All those docs out there that say, well, you can't go above XYZ dose of T3. That is complete BS. Do not listen to them. Or doctors that tell you that hormones cause cancer. No, no, do not listen. We can get you to Optimization Land, where you feel amazing, where you're not gaining weight, looking sideways at a brownie, where you have consistent energy through the day, your hair is not falling out, and yes, you actually poop and detox every single day. That is a win. So you're going to want to book a call with my team. And this is totally free. And this is where we go over. Hey, what have you tried? What has worked, what hasn't worked, where are you at on the frustration spectrum? And here's how we can help. Dr. Amy
Notes how to work with Us.

So I look forward to seeing you in one of our programs so we can help you level up and bring you into Optimization Land.
Dr. Amy
Welcome to the Thyroid Fixer Podcast, and many of you who have been longtime listeners have heard my guest on the show before. And we do this every year because every year I am speaking at Hack youk Health and I want all of you there and I want to meet you in person. So I love having my dear friend Robin Switzer on the show so we can talk about what's upcoming in this year's 2020. Yeah, 2025. Hack your health. 2020. Five in Tampa in November. And basically we're going to, we're going to tease you guys a little bit with a lot of different topics that you can learn about, you can hear these experts speak about all in one weekend. And it's funny, even before Robin and I got on, I said, you know, these topics are so robust and so many and they're, they're all subjects that I, I get questions on from my audience. So what amazes me and the way that I think of this is someone can come to this three day event. And yes, I mean, number one, meet the experts, have conversations with them, because I'll put myself in the category. We are all very accessible. We're all walking around the event, we're listening to other speakers, we're hanging out at booths, some of us have booths there. So we're all very accessible. So you can literally ask your own personal question to these experts and then there's really no better place to consume. What would take you probably two months of listening to podcasts. You can get this information and download it into your mind and start making changes immediately in three days. So for me it's just, it's a no brainer. Anyone who's even remotely interested in up leveling their health and really taking care of themselves, I don't even care if you're a biohacker, quote unquote. You can just have a baseline care about your health, your weight, your energy, your hair, your brain function, avoiding disease. I mean, we could just stop right there and go, okay, that's enough right there. You can learn all of that and more just by coming to Tampa for three days. So Robin, thank you once again for joining me because I love meeting up with you every year and hearing what's on tap for the next hack your health event.
Kate Shanahan
Well, thank you for having me. I appreciate it. There's a lot of new things happening this year. I mean, the biggest one is that our event is in a new location. So we moved the event from Austin, Texas to Tampa because I live here and I just felt that it would be, it was time to bring this level of experience to my hometown. And there's, there's just, there's nothing like it in this area. So we decided to bring the event home and it's made it much, it's made it much easier to, to run and control and make decisions with everything being right here. A lot of exciting stuff happening this year.
Dr. Amy
Well, and Florida is a hub of health conscious people as well. We can't just always keep it In Texas, those Austin people get a lot of health events. We need to spread the love a little bit. And who doesn't. Again, who doesn't want to travel to Florida in November? Right.
Kate Shanahan
So, I mean, it'll be in the 70s, 70s, and probably mid to high 70s, maybe low 80s in November. And we've always had people come from all over the country, from all over the world, really, to attend this event. So November, it's going to feel like spring for most people traveling in from other. From other areas.
Dr. Amy
Oh, it'll be absolutely beautiful. Beautiful. And it's weather. I mean, we. You just have a lineup of speakers and topics, some of which will highlight today that, I mean, just blows it out of the water. I've never seen anything like it.
Kate Shanahan
Oh, well, thank you. It's a lot of people who are genuinely invested in helping other people. I mean, these speakers, as you know, these speakers don't get paid. These people are coming down on. On their own dime, in their own time, and they're investing that time because they have a message that 99% of the time comes from experience of some sort of a health crisis where they've built a business or career around their experience. The same thing for me, of course. But all of these people are invested in making a difference.
Dr. Amy
Yeah. And that's what it's about, and that's my passion as well. The more information that we can get out to the masses and empower the masses to take control of their own health with just nuggets of information that can really move the needle, and that's what it's all about. So I want to highlight a couple of the speakers because we were talking before we jumped on and just, ooh, this is so juicy and such amazing information that my audience is going to love. So I'm trying to kind of tempt them a little bit with their whistle, with what they can expect if they join me at Hacker Health. So first up, you know. All right, I got to start with seed oils. Kate Shanahan. I interviewed her. Oh, goodness. Months ago on her book Dark Calories, and she is just so brilliant. And the way that she explains the dangers of seed oils and why we have to avoid them really makes it understandable for that common person. So instead of being bombarded and confused on Instagram with this person saying, don't worry about seed oils, and this person saying, oh, my gosh, avoid them 100%, Kate just breaks it down and makes it real and makes you sit back and go, oh, wow, now I understand what these seed oils can do to my body. And I understand why we want to avoid them. And it literally is that simple.
Kate Shanahan
Yeah, you know, the seed oil thing is huge. I never thought I'd see the day when there was a camp of people who were saying that there was nothing wrong with them. I really, I mean, it blows my mind that that even exists. However, the reason why it's so that topic is so personal for me is because there's so many of the products that are on the shelf today that are marketed to kids, all contain those oils. And you and I have talked about this before, but I got involved in doing all this because of my own health crisis and I wanted to make a difference, sharing information that I had learned from my own health crisis. Well, now I have grandchildren and I'm really concerned about what is marketed towards them and what they ask for, because it is marketed towards them. So this topic in particular is important to me that we cover. It's really important for people who are raising families to understand what they're feeding their kids and then of course, what they're feeding themselves. But the children have. They're relying on their parents to make the choices for them.
Dr. Amy
Yeah, absolutely. And it can almost get a little bit overwhelming. So to your point, let's say there's a mom out there with three kids and she's trying to learn what the best things are to feed herself and her family. But she doesn't have time to listen to an hour long podcast over here and an hour long podcast over there and attend a seminar. She just needs it broken down in simple, easy to understand language that she can then take that information, go home and implement it in her and her family's life.
Kate Shanahan
Right.
Dr. Amy
I love that. I love that. And Kate is so powerful. So I'm so happy you're having that. That alone, worth the price of admission. But then we go on to. Seriously, I mean, Kate's just phenomenal.
Kate Shanahan
She is a powerhouse for sure.
Dr. Amy
Powerhouse. Then we go on to fasting. Now, this is a huge question that I get quite often and it's again, it's a confusing topic out there because the majority of studies that we have on fasting, we know we're done on men. And this is not to say that, you know, you guys are going to get a lot out of this too. But for this particular topic, when it comes to fasting around hormones, fasting around your cycle, fasting as a woman, what's the right way to do it? And there's a lot of information. There's a Lot of misinformation out there. So you have a speaker, Dr. Jen, that is going to come in and Dr. Jen Flager, she's going to come in and really break down the how you fast the right way. Timing, fasting with your hormonal cycles and variations.
Kate Shanahan
Right? Yeah. And that's, I mean, that's an important topic too. I mean all of these, we can talk about every single one of these speakers and you know, I'm going to say the same thing. It's a really important topic. Topic.
Dr. Amy
It is. Well, that's true.
Robin Switzer
It is.
Kate Shanahan
Fasting is so personal for or unique. It has to be different for each individual. What works for me might not work for somebody else, especially since I'm past all of those different cycles. For me personally, I use a different fasting, a different fasting protocol than someone who is in their 40s. So I think that's part of the confusion is that women are just kind of like grouped into, if you're female, do this. And it's really, it's much more intricate than that.
Dr. Amy
Well, and same. So I started fasting before we had experts out there talking about the pros, the cons, the right way, the wrong way to do it. And I jumped right on in fasting like a guy doing some, one meal a day type of fast. And I really paid attention to what it did to my body. And then when I would have patients that would fast, paid attention to what happened with their thyroid levels, what happened with their hormone levels when they fasted too often. And that at, at that point in time, that really made me step back and say, you know what, there needs to be different protocols for males versus females. And then in the female population, there needs to be different protocols for the woman that is still cycling regularly or the woman that's going through perimenopause, or the woman that is in full menopause and then is she taking hormones? Is she not taking hormones? So there's so many intricacies to the right way to fast. We really need an expert to break that down.
Kate Shanahan
Right. The, the other really important thing to consider is whether or not the person is insulin resistant and what their why is, why are they fasting? Is it just for health and longevity of optimizing something or are they insulin resistant? Do they need to lose a lot of weight or are they underweight? All these other things. They're all important.
Dr. Amy
Absolutely. And again, since the experts will be there in person and you can actually talk to them, I'm going to pick Jen's brain Around what she thinks about her brain myself around what she thinks about fasting for women who maybe have a cancer diagnosis. Because obviously since I just went through that, you know, I had my time of, of of thought process, I didn't end up doing it. But we hear a lot about 7 day water fast being fantastic for cancer, but does that apply to women? So I want to pick Jen's brain about that.
Kate Shanahan
Yeah, I did a seven day water fast about two years ago. I think two years ago I did it for the, the gut reset and because I was still dealing with insulin resistance and I loved it personally.
Dr. Amy
You love it?
Kate Shanahan
I loved it. But I'm personally I'm four years post menopause. Four, three or four years now. So yeah, I, it did, it did wonders for me. I felt great.
Dr. Amy
I'll have to remember that and I'll tap your brain if I ever decide to do a. I did a three day once. That's as far as I got. Far as I got. And then kind of staying on the, the topic of, of women fasting as we know most women fast too for the weight loss ex aspect of it and then the health aspect is just the bonus that comes with it. But you know, tying that into exercise and this is a big question I get as well, how do we exercise to really optimize our metabolism and optimize our metabolic health? And that's a huge question as well. Again, male versus female. And then in the female population we have, okay, what if you're in your 20s and you're still cycling regularly and you have all your hormones and your growth hormone. It's just flaying your system versus the woman that's transitioning in the perimenopause and menopause and, and her exercise protocols need to look different. And this is where you have an expert talking on this as well.
Kate Shanahan
Mike Mutzel will be there to be to talk about those, to talk about that topic. And also Dr. Annette Bosworth, while she isn't actually speaking about this topic, she has addressed this topic many times the past. Someone can go on our, anyone can go on our YouTube channel and see those past recordings of her presentations talking on this topic. But I've, I met Mike I think at our, when, when we were still Ketocon in 2018 I think. And he is just such a tremendous speaker. So people are going to be blown away. He's really, really good.
Dr. Amy
And again just the way that he breaks it down and, and makes it applicable to the average person, it's not like you have to go join a gym. You have to hire a personal trainer. He breaks it down. Easy to understand language and easy to understand principles that you can take back home and apply if you work out in your living room, if you work out in your garage, or if you like to go to the gym. They're very applicable to everyday life, right? Are you not on Hashimoto's fixer?
Robin Switzer
Why not? It's part of the no Dust supplement list. Now, Hashimoto's fixer, or Hashimoto's support by the fixer to be exact, is black cumin seed oil with 3% thymoquinone.
Dr. Amy
Why is this important?
Robin Switzer
That's the active ingredient in Hashimoto's fixer that lowers your Hashimoto antibodies. We have had reports of people going into full remission when they bring in Hashimoto's Fixer, literally dropping their antibodies to zero. Now, black cumin seed also works on other autoimmune conditions. So if you have antibodies for Crohn's disease, rheumatoid arthritis, if you have psoriasis, it's going to help across the board with all autoimmune. It's going to help decrease inflammation. It helps with all of the symptoms of low thyroid function or symptoms of your thyroid being attacked by your own body, like hair loss, weight gain, fatigue. As we lower those antibodies and push them down to zero, what we end up seeing is this full body improvement because then your thyroid works better and your blood sugar balances out. Nutrients are getting where they need to get to and is actually one of the only supplemental ingredients that we can say prevents cancer. They're so my gosh. You better have studies behind that statement if you're going to say it out loud or the FDA will slap you. Well, the FDA can't slap us because there are multiple, multiple studies on this amazing Nigella sativa plant in Hashimoto's Fixer that actually decreases your risk of cancer. Wow. Amazing. Boosting the immune system, reducing swelling, lowering that allergic reaction that we have in the spring. That is why I say black cumin.
Dr. Amy
Should be a no D supplement.
Robin Switzer
It should be part of your life every single day. Because we all have inflammation. We all need improved blood sugar control. We all need better cholesterol levels. Well, that's what black cumin seed does. Even reduces hypertension. How about that? So add in Hashimoto support by the fixer. We'll put the link in the show notes. But you can always go to betterlifedoctor.com and peruse all of the fixer supplements and then click on Hashimoto's and we got you covered. Add this in daily as part of your no DA supplement list and you'll see the benefits working. As your inflammation goes down, antibodies go down, and you're providing that extra layer of prevention for cancer and it even has been shown to fight cancer. Why not take it daily?
Dr. Amy
So let's say somebody decides that they want to up level their lifestyle and start homesteading. Now this is, I gotta tell you, this is a topic that has always. I even grow a tomato plant without killing it, Robin. So now I can shoot a deer, but I, I, I can't, I can't grow a garden. But what is really intriguing is that in this day and age that we are just bombarded with pesticides, toxins, depleted soil, I mean, you could even go to the grocery store and buy organic and you don't know what you're getting. You do not know what you're getting. So for those that really want to take control of everything that goes into their mouth and their family's mouth, you have the, the real food rebels there talking about homesteading. Talk to me more about that because it's very intriguing.
Kate Shanahan
Yeah, well, actually the women that are part of that panel are, they're pretty incredible. I mean, if you look on our website and look who's going to be speaking on the panel because there's five different people, you can look them up. I mean, they're all very busy in this space educating people. They, a couple of them are homesteaders, meaning that they live on a farm and they produce their own. They live off the land, but their focus is really how to nourish your family in a processed food world. They're looking to educate people who want to improve the health of their entire families and focus on nourishment as opposed to like food for fun or food for convenience. I mean, it's not for everybody. I, I believe that every young family can benefit from learning this information, whether it's just to figure out alternatives to things that they're currently buying off the shelf, how they can make it at home, or, you know, getting more serious and really making those types of lifestyle changes. I think that that, that movement really ties strongly with the people who are part of the carnivore community where they're really serious about taking ownership of their health and really controlling everything that they take in. And once you make those kind of changes in your life and your health improves, you want to start seeing what other areas of health you can Improve. And so those two communities blend really, really well together. Taking ownership of your health is empowering people to take ownership of their health is really what all of this is about.
Dr. Amy
Yeah.
Kate Shanahan
So all of these different speakers bring a different angle, a different area of expertise where they're providing information for the attendees to feel empowered, just like I felt empowered once I started getting healthier. We want all of. Regardless of where someone is in their health journey, when they come to this event, we want them to walk away feeling empowered and confident that they can follow their intuition and make the best choices for their own health.
Dr. Amy
There are still participants that came to Hack your health years ago when it was ketocon that I met in person. I still keep in contact with them to this day, and the changes that they made from the information they learned at the event, absolutely phenomenal. There's a couple, and just from having a conversation with me and then attending a few of the talks, the gentleman ended up totally changing his life. He lost 60, 70 pounds, reversed his diabetes. I mean, they're living their best life ever. Then the wife started in, and she ended up losing weight, reversed her diabetes. I started working with her. We got her thyroid optimized. So that's just. That's just two people whose lives were changed from attending one event. And I was blessed enough to be able to follow them and actually see and hear about the change.
Kate Shanahan
Yeah, that kind of gives me hope. I kind of live in this little bubble where everybody that I talk to is in the same space that we're in, and they're knowledgeable and they're aware and they're watching what's happening around them, absorbing what they need, throwing away what they don't. But outside of our little bubble, I thought that the rest of the world was getting this information, too, but it turns out outside of our little bubble, there's so much misinformation that people are very confused. And so I think that the mix to me is. This is very interesting. The mix of people that you will see at Hack your health is so wide. It's so varied. The people who. Like the couple that you just mentioned, who have just recently been told, you know, it's time to do something about your health or else XYZ is going to happen. There's people at the beginning of their journey, and then there's people like you who are very fit and who are very well and are learning more, and there's everything in between.
Dr. Amy
Yeah, that's. That's a great point. It really is for everyone, no matter where you are on your journey. Yeah, absolutely. Well, this next topic, that again, is just one that even I'm confused on. Emfs, glyphosate, like, how do we actually plastics all of those toxins that we are constantly exposed to? I mean, sometimes toxins you can see in a water bottle and then toxins that you can't see in the form of EMFs. It's so confusing out there of, like, what do we do? How do we protect ourselves? We're being bombarded with EMF exposure, plastic exposure, glyphosate exposure all the time. So what's again, what is the applicable. You know, you don't have to be Brian Johnson or Dave Asprey in order to afford or apply all of these tools to protect you and your family. And I'm dying to learn what these experts. Who are the experts talking on that.
Kate Shanahan
So Ali Miller will be speaking about that in relation to food and how to avoid those. Those toxins. Carolyn Allen from B Minerals will be speaking about glyphosates. And she has a fascinating story to tell about her own history, her own health journey, and how she even started this company. I think that the EMF topic is kind of overwhelming.
Robin Switzer
It is.
Kate Shanahan
I mean, when you think about how all these different things that we're exposed to, I think that between that and the glyphosates, I feel like getting information pared down so that you can just understand the process, where it is and what to do to avoid it without all of the fluff. I think that's really important. When you think about how much we are bombarded with these things, it. It can get not only overwhelming, but depressing. But, I mean, trying to avoid it all can be overwhelming.
Dr. Amy
It.
Kate Shanahan
It.
Dr. Amy
You. You nailed it. It's overwhelming and then kind of depressing because you. You get overwhelmed and then you go, how am I? Well, forget it. I can't apply all of this. I'll just be exposed. That's fine. You know, and you throw in the towel and it doesn't have to be that way.
Kate Shanahan
No, I mean, just little changes can make such a big difference. I don't know if you've done this. Well, you probably have, but I. A few years ago, took my phone. I used to use my phone for, like, sleeping apps, my alarm clock, and all those other things. But then my phone was, like, on my nightstand right next to my head with the WI fi on, so I just moved. I mean, this is a very small thing, but it did help my sleep. I moved my phone charger into the other room, my phone charges at night. I don't have an alarm clock anymore, but I don't need it. But that one thing actually improved my sleep.
Dr. Amy
Oh, interesting.
Kate Shanahan
Okay, so that was just a little thing, and it was a big habit change. Of course, it also helped me a lot because I didn't pick up the phone and start scrolling in the middle of the night. Yeah, I mean, just little things like that can be really impactful.
Dr. Amy
Oh, that's so good. You're right. Just those little tiny things. And then we'll come back to a couple of topics that I want to touch on, but this leads me into how you choose your vendors. So if anyone has been to just a general health event, you know that you could. You could be walking around the vendor floor, be seeing all the different companies, and really get confused. It's like, well, is that real? Are they scamming me over there with that EMF device? Are they lying to me over here with the. The blankets I can put on me to protect myself or the spray for my vegetable? You don't know. But with you, Robin, and this has been this way since I've known you, you vet the vendors that come in. You make sure that if they're a food vendor, there's no seed oils, there's no xyz, all the banned ingredients that you look for. You basically make sure that your people that attend this event will not be bullshitted, will not be scammed. These are vetted vendors that you can come in and you can trust with your health.
Kate Shanahan
Right. Well, I mean, that really started with ketocon, because, I mean, when we first started, started doing ketocon, keto food products were pretty popular, and it very quickly skyrocketed and got completely out of control. And people were just labeling junk food with a keto label. So we developed a band ingredient list, and we would not accept any exhibitors or sponsors that had any. Any of those banned ingredients in their products. And that kind of just expanded naturally over the years. So we do that now with skincare. We do that now with supplements. We do that now with products. Yeah, it's. It's really hard to turn people down. But we made that promise a long time ago, so we just continue to do it.
Dr. Amy
Yeah, no, that's called integrity. And I love it that that is wrapped into hack. Your health is just high levels of integrity and actually care and concern for the consumers that are coming to get this information and to. To shop with these vendors.
Kate Shanahan
Right. Well, thank you for saying that.
Dr. Amy
No, I think it's worth saying because a lot of people don't know. You know, they walk into these events and they're just totally confused. They're more confused and they're more lost and they don't know who to trust or believe. But this is a great place to, to walk into and know that these are trusted and vetted vendors as well.
Kate Shanahan
Right.
Dr. Amy
So peptides, I love that you are having my dear friend and colleague Jay Campbell. He is absolutely brilliant in the world of peptides. I pick his brain quite often. He is the absolute guru when it comes to peptides and, and I love that he's going to be there speaking and also on a Man up panel. So we have something for the guy. So ladies, you know, you know that your men don't take care of themselves on their own and that you have to step in and just guide them a little bit. So yes, of course you can bring your husband along, sit him down in the, in the man up room and let him absorb some of the information being given by absolute brilliant gentlemen in this health space, including Jay. And then, you know, if your guy doesn't want to come, then you just come and you get the information for him because sometimes you have to be the catalyst for your man to take care of himself. So I love that you're having this as well, Robin.
Kate Shanahan
Yeah, Jay is amazing. Jay and Natalie Knitten will also be at the event, so she's terrific with peptides too.
Dr. Amy
Yes.
Kate Shanahan
This whole peptide conversation, just the more I learn, the more my. I am just blown away. I'm hopeful. I mean, I believe that this is happening, that people, when they hear peptides, they don't automatically think GLP1s. They think of other peptides as well. But I'm just fascinated by this conversation of all the potential for improved health that these things bring.
Dr. Amy
Well, yeah, and to your point, right, I think right now with the rise and the popularity of the GLPs, you say the word peptide and all the other peptides that have so much benefit have gotten kind of pushed out of the conversation. Conversation. Whereas Jay and, and Natalie, I mean, she's just amazing as well. Netum they bring the other peptides and the bioregulators back into the conversation where it really was years ago where I was even saying, I truly believe that peptides and bioregulators will replace traditional medication in many different aspects of our, of our health. And we're seeing that more and more with the different peptides and bioregulators that can address certain conditions and not need a pharmaceutical so they really again, Jay and Natalie, they break it down in a way that it just makes it not overwhelming, very easy to understand and again, easy to implement. So you don't have to go out and buy thousands of dollars worth of peptides, figure out how to, to use them and then cross your fingers and wish on a rainbow that they work. They actually break down. Here's what you use for certain conditions, here's what to expect from, from these peptides and really the proper way to source them and to use them.
Kate Shanahan
Yeah, I'm really excited about this. You know, the potential for peptides to, from just a little bit of research that I've done myself is so exciting and so impactful in the field of longevity. So I mean you and I have talked about this so many times that it's so important to me that we teach people to increase their lifespan, but it's more, really more about their health span. So if you can age, if you can live longer, but live well, that's the ultimate. And that's kind of like, I guess that's why I'm so fascinated with the peptides because it's relative. I, I can relate to it. To continue to live well for another 30 years. To me that's just like the end of the rainbow, you know, and even.
Dr. Amy
As we were talking before I jumped on, you know, I'm, I'm now, I don't even know, 16 days, something like that. 16, 17 days post surgery of a really big surgery. And yes, everyone is amazed at how quickly I healed. I feel completely normal, back to normal. And, and I do attribute peptides and knowing which peptides to use for speed healing and recovery. I attribute a majority of my healing to those peptides. So learning what you can do and how to use peptides to your advantage. Absolutely. Up levels your entire health, your life really, because it's giving me back time that I wouldn't have had. I would be basically laid up and recovering. But now I have my time back, my life back, my normalcy back.
Kate Shanahan
Yeah, I think that the fact that you have focused on building lean muscle, that you work out, that you've stayed so active, I, I think that that really helped with your recovery. Did I see that you were right back at the gym just like a week ago?
Dr. Amy
Yeah, I was 10 days post surgery back at the gym. Yeah, they told me I had to wait six weeks, so I was 32 days ahead of schedule. Peptides, protein, good supplements, I mean it really can work. It really.
Kate Shanahan
Right.
Dr. Amy
