Tom Woods
Hi, everybody. Tom woods here. It's episode 2756 of the Tom Woods Show. We have with us Mark lynch, who is running against the. I don't really know how to describe Lindsey Graham, but I'll say this. In my life, despite all my travels, I have never once met a Lindsey Graham supporter. Never once. I'm sure they exist, but I've never come across one. However, Mark, I think I. Very briefly. You might not even remember, but I think I was introduced to you very briefly. Were you at The Ron Paul 90th birthday event, barbecue event in Texas?
Mark Lynch
Okay, we sure were.
Tom Woods
Okay, so we did meet very briefly there. Now, let's get right into this, this question of Lindsey Graham. We who do not live in South Carolina. What we know Lindsey Graham for is irrational bellicosity in foreign policy, which unfortunately, some people think that's conservatism, but it is not. But that's what we know him for, and we'll have time to talk about that. But we don't know anything, at least I don't, about how well he represents South Carolina, because it certainly seems like he's flying all over the globe. And if you look at his social media accounts, it's everything you can imagine other than South Carolina. So as you a South Carolinian, can you comment on that? What is he like as a US Senator for South Carolina?
Mark Lynch
I think you do understand it. That's what we're all asking. Where is he? He's been AWOL from South Carolina. He's in Israel a lot. He goes to the Ukraine a lot and all the next locations. He wants to start another war so he can get more funding from Boeing and Lockheed Martin than the military industrial complexes. And we're all asking, where is he? He's awol. But a few weeks ago, he did say he was going to come back and bring our sons and daughters over to the Middle east, to Iran, the current war that he promoted. And that's just not going to happen. We're all tired of it. He's not doing anything. He's not America first, he's America last. And he's South Carolina last. But he's Lindsay first. Everything he does is to benefit Lindsay. And this year, we're going to give america A wonderful 250th anniversary gift by removing a traitor. He's betraying South Carolinians, betraying America and stabbing Donald Trump in the back every chance he gets. But it's election season again, so he's playing the game. And he's not really a flip flopper. He's a liar. He's got a 43% Conservative voting record, and he's got a 57% Constitutional voting record, failing all the scorecards that voters can look up and see how our employees are doing. So we're firing him this year. Everybody's had enough.
Tom Woods
Well, I can tell you, nothing would make me happier than to see that it's still frustrating that no matter, I don't know how atrociously bad an American politician is to the point of it's just downright embarrassing. Nevertheless, there's something about the name recognition, the fact that incumbency carries with it tremendous fundraising ability. He does have the Trump endorsement. So despite the fact that he's not a good senator, he still has a massive advantage. So what is your path to victory or forcing a runoff or whatever? And what are the dates? What are the relevant dates?
Mark Lynch
Yeah, June 9th, that's the primary. That's the important date. If there's a runoff, It'll move to the 23rd of June, two weeks later. But I think we can do it all in one big, fast swoop is what it appears, because, you know, we've got our polling back from Rasmussen several weeks ago, and he was down at 41%. And then I was at 21%. And Paul Dan, who was in third place at 11, he dropped out of the race 10 days ago and endorsed me and he was at 11%. So that's good. And that was an awesome thing that he did. That's a unified Republican Party guy that is still focused on doing what we have to do to get Lindsey Graham. So he came to me and said, Mr. Lynch, Senator, let's go, we've got to get you across the finish line. So all his votes come over now with an informed ballot, even with Paul Dan still in the race. When this last poll was done, Tom, it reverses. I go to 34% and Lindsey drops to 23 with Paul Dan still in that formula. So there's about 26, 24% undecided out there. And they're coming over and they're coming over every day. We're traveling all over the state still, because people that are kind of skeptical a year ago, you know, how are you going to beat Lindsey Graham? He has all this money and name ID and everything, like you just said, but he's just a man and when I brought that up at one of my presentations and I said that, you know, he's just a man, he can be beaten. And one of the men there said, I don't know that I would call him that. You know, he's known as lady G in D.C. and so everybody's tired of his character. He's very arrogant. He's not doing anything. The voting record proves it, and it's time to fire an employee. That's not going to change. We're all sick of it. We see the pattern. We won't be fooled again. Even with Trump's endorsement. Probably nine months ago, everybody said, we still respect President Trump, but that endorsement won't save Lindsay in South Carolina. We have our own minds. We've seen Trump make some other endorsements that weren't the right ones in our state. And he's going to get voted out this year. It's over for him. We're all tired of it.
Tom Woods
Well, let me explain, just to make sure everybody understands what the mechanism is here. It is possible that on June 9, nobody gets 50%. And if that's the case, then you have a runoff, and the runoff is between the top two vote getters.
Mark Lynch
Right.
Tom Woods
Okay. And that would be two weeks later.
Mark Lynch
Yes.
Tom Woods
Boy, that doesn't give you a lot of time. But if that were nevertheless to happen, I'm assuming that would be a first in the history of the Graham senatorship, shall we say. Is that right?
Mark Lynch
I believe so. That's right.
Tom Woods
So if that happened, people who have no idea who Mark lynch is would find out the next day who Mark lynch is, and suddenly you would be on every show imaginable, which would mean it would be Anybody's game on June 23rd would be my assessment of the situation.
Mark Lynch
Yes. And people know me in the upstate, you know, so who am I? Take a minute just to say, you know, I'm a lifelong South Carolinian. I'm saved. I love Jesus. Our business that I took over from my father and bought into it in 1985 and have run the business the last 40 years, we've grown the business with God at the center. He's the owner. We've grown it 35 times. We've been debt free since 1999, married to the same wife of 38 years. We have two awesome children. They're married, they're saved, their spouses are saved. Our four grandchildren are fabulous. They're six to two years old and we have an awesome business here. I'm an ordained deacon in our church. I've Been helping in the recovery ministry, helping addicts come out of the lies of addiction into freedom in Christ. My wife and I both have mentored people, disciple people. 15% of our employees came from the recovery industry. And we love that ministry. We've done mission trips all over the world. We prayed about this. We've been asked to come into this race because of my knowledge in the deep state and helping a gentleman named John Guandolo, who was a Marine captain of 15 years. After 9 11, he went into the FBI and the Anti Terrorism Division of the FBI and worked alongside Philip Haney closely, who was the director of Homeland Security back then. And we've worked together for years, training our local police and sled and FBI agents about Hamas and the local Islamic infiltration in South Carolina. We've done presentations with our governor and the lieutenant governor, and we've had presentations to the citizens, the public about the green charter schools and the Holy Rosary schools and all of the infiltration into that, teaching our children about Sharia law and indoctrinating them into Islam at a young age that our state pays through because they're charter schools. All that work has prepared me to go to the U.S. senate. I understand all that kind of stuff. Years ago, back in 2014, when we started doing educational seminars and presentations on this subject, people looked at us and thought we had eight heads. They're all begging for that information again now because they understand the word Hamas and they're worried about Sharia law. And I will definitely ban that and get that done in the country when I'm in the U.S. senate. And we're not going to keep fighting that, you know, we're going to make a decision and call these people terrorists, who they are, and get them out of our country. So I got called to do this and we were willing to step into it and working with a lot of these guys who led the Reawaken America tour for four years when Trump's election was stolen in 2020. All these guys have been fighting to educate America on what's really been happening. And, you know, one of them is General Mike Flynn. I've worked with him. He's given me his full endorsement. And I'm a fighter, you know, in our business and our appliance furniture business, we've had to fight global giants across the country like, and some of them that aren't here anymore or Sears and Roebuck, Circuit City, HH Greg Montgomery Wards, Leechmere Kresge Co. Wilco, on and on and on. We're still here 74 years later, God knows how to run a good company and he's. He's the owner. Like I said, my son's third generation. And he said, what's our culture? We don't have a culture statement. And I said, I can tell you what it is. You can write it down. We love Jesus Christ and We're the Navy SEALs of this industry, so we know how to fight. We have an excellent staff. I'll bring those qualities into D.C. we'll have a prayed up staff and God will bring the right staff and will have good advisement. We'll make good decisions based off of God's word and the United States Constitution to bring back true conservative decisions on boats and direction for this country. It's all about God first again. If we get him back first, making America great again will just be a natural consequence. That's the way our forefathers designed this country, you know, in our Declaration of Independence, they realize we are endowed by our creator God with certain unalienable rights. And that first right is the right to life. Without that, we don't have anything. Tom, you know, Lindsay sent out a direct mail piece that he's fighting for the unborn and he's 100% pro life and proud of it. And he's been endorsed by three fake pro life organizations, Susan B. Anthony, National Right to Life and South Carolina Citizens for Life Pack, and I call them fake because Lindsay's for murdering babies in the womb up to 15 weeks. And he voted on a bill that put our tax dollars into Obamacare and Medicaid to fund Planned Parenthood for women to go in nine states. Nine states in the country they can have an abortion or murder their child up until the moment before delivery in the ninth month. And so we got a problem. You know, that's one of my main things I'll work on, is to end the murder of our children. We've murdered 64 million of our own in this country.
Tom Woods
Hey, gang. Every dollar you keep away from the regime is a moral victory. And that's why if you're a business owner or you're a high W2 earner paying at least 40k a year in taxes, you need to get to know the great Matthew Ciudad, the brilliant tax attorney who loathes the IRS every bit as much as you do. And of course, you want to work with somebody who shares your values because he has a philosophical commitment to keeping as much money in your hands as possible. You won't have to explain yourself to Matthew Sersley, and I know him. Well, he's been on my cruise. He's been at my murder mystery parties. He's in my elite mastermind. He's been listening to the Tom woods show from the very beginning. He is truly one of us. And he's a tax attorney, not a cpa. So. So your conversations with him are protected by attorney client privilege. So whether you're running a business, doing a side hustle, flipping real estate, or you're just sick of handing over half your paycheck to evil sociopaths, Mr. Sersley helps you stay smart, compliant, and legally minimize what you pay the IRS. So your next step is go to www.agoristtaxadvice.com woods that's a G O R I S T taxadvice.com woods and grab your free Agorast toolkit. It's full of powerful tools and templates you can use to get your business in order, track your expenses, and reduce how much the IRS takes from you without crossing any lines. Head to www.agorist tax advice.com woods right now. Well, let me tell you what I. What my concerns are. I mean, I'm somebody who, I think of myself as well, to the right of what. At least what's coming out of the White House nowadays. And that includes a concern about the direction of the foreign policy. The foreign policy in the US has been bipartisan, and I know that sounds crazy. Well, the Democrats are too weak on foreign policy when push comes to shove. Joe Biden was pushing that Iraq war through in 2003, come what may. Nothing makes those people, the mainstream Dems and the mainstream Republicans kiss and make up faster than a dissident outsider like a Ron Paul or like, I presume yourself. Now, the problem is, a lot of people said, the very same people who support it now, that war with Iran is a mistake on a lot of grounds. Strategic, military, moral, diplomatic. So many grounds on which this is a mistake. Pat Buchanan warned us about this war 20 years ago. But then they get in power and they do exactly the opposite. And there's always some excuse. Well, the. But this time they didn't bother to give us an excuse. You talk like an Amer America first guy. But, you know, how do we know that you wouldn't get in and then turn out to be exactly like these other people who say, well, circumstances have changed and I have to, you know, how do we know that you're not fake?
Mark Lynch
Well, all I can do is tell you and I can show you the fruit of my life and who I am today. And What I've done and why people are asking me. Like I said, being a husband, I have the qualifications that you have to have to be an ordained deacon. And I have men around me now in my life that I've authorized strong Christian men that given the authority for them, Tom, to come into my office if they see me doing something wrong. But if I get deceived and get off into some crazy thinking and I think I'm doing right, they'll come in, hit me with a two by four, pour ice water down my back and say, what are you doing? You know, and that's biblical. I would never say, like Peter said, I'll never deny you. He was done when he said that the prayer would be, I don't want to deny you. Help me stay faithful and help me do the right thing. So it takes godly character, somebody that can hold the line, that doesn't compromise, you know, being debt free, having the culture we have here at our workplace. You can talk to our employees, they love it here. I'm known as a leader in the community and mission work and all kind of things. And so it's not hard to say no to evil decisions. You know, I don't drink, I don't smoke, I don't go out to bars at night. I'm not going to get intoxicated and get lured into something stupid. I don't need any money. I'm doing this because I love America and I love South Carolina and I'm trying to protect the future of our grandchildren and I don't need to do this. I was asked to do it and one of my friends said, you know, Mark, years ago when the local families and everybody checked out people, and they said, you, oh, Bob, you're the guy that needs to be the sheriff or you need to be the US Senator or whatever. It was considered an honor to be asked and because I said, you know, why me? I've never had a desire to do all this stuff. And they said, we've checked you out, we vetted you, we've watched what you've been doing all these years. It's you, we need you to go to D.C. and so we prayed about it and thought long and hard about it and got consultants to tell us what it would be and what it's going to cost and all these things, and we've made a decision to do it and I'll do everything I can to protect me. And I know who I am in Christ. I know that I'm God's child and the Enemy can't touch me unless I give him legal rights to. If God is for me, who can be against me? And no weapon formed against me shall prosper. But I'm going to do what I got to do to stay in line with that and surrender my will daily. And every decision, like I said, will go before God. It'll have to pass through his filter first and the Constitution. So I've got a pretty good plan that I've used all my life to make wise decisions to avoid stepping on landmines or getting entrapped into something or into bondage into something stupid. And we've been very successful. You know, when I first came into this business, we had five employees. We have 110 now. And like I say, we fight the big box stores every day. During 2020. We were told we had to shut down. I told the police that kept harassing me because we, we had the most complaints of any retailer in our market because we weren't wearing masks and we weren't social distancing because we don't have to. And I told the police, if, if you want to arrest me, do it. Give me that news story, please. Otherwise, leave us alone. I don't have an appointment with you today. And then Dhek came by and Osha and we had to do the same thing. We threw him out of the store, you know, because I don't put up with that. I know how to say no to evil.
Tom Woods
I actually don't know the answer to this question. How was Lindsay on Covid?
Mark Lynch
He didn't do anything in the state. Our governor shut us down 33 consecutive two week periods in a row and bankrupt, bankrupt family businesses. But the liquor stores got to stay open and the abortion clinics stay open, but the churches had to close and small businesses had to close. Is anybody, you know, paying attention? You know, we were breaking our friends and family members out of the hospital, getting them off a remdesivir that was flooding their lungs and sending them to a ventilator. And the hospital would get a check for another $26,000 and another COVID death. We took them out, signed the waivers, went and got ivermectin. And those people are all still doing great today. They didn't go to a ventilator to their death. So that's some of the stuff we do. We fight for what's right and what's true. And that's why I'm doing this. Our country's in trouble.
Tom Woods
What would be your criteria then for what has to be the case? In order for the US to be involved in some overseas conflict, it needs
Mark Lynch
to be a direct, imminent threat. I'm America first, you know, and it's just like in my home, I have guns, and if people try to break in our house and hurt my wife and kill us or whatever, they're probably going to have a hard time. But I'm not going to go over to my neighbor's house because I think he might come attack us, you know, and kill all of them and burn their house to the ground. I might keep watch on if I think he's going to do that. But there's got to be a real, true direct threat that we have intel on and meet with all the people that give us that information. And, you know, I'm kind of like you. I'm on the outside right now. I'm not inside those rooms privy to that intel. But we, we hear a lot of the news that's gone on, you know, responsibly. As a businessman, last time I checked, we, $39 trillion in debt were bankrupt. And Lindsay's been the head of the Budget Committee. He's doing a fine job with that, isn't he? You know, so we don't have the money for these wars. And I know Trump's a diplomat and he's trying to do what's right and promote peace everywhere. So I think he's been influenced by Lindsey having an ear with Netanyahu, helping sell the whole deal because he's got bloodlust for war. He just salivates and gets evilly excited about it. It's just a sick.
Tom Woods
Yeah, you can say that again. Well, you mentioned early on that in your view, Lindsey Graham has betrayed Trump. Now, there are, I think there are numerous ways in which you can vindicate that statement. Obviously, we all know on January 6th, he had that fit about how he's done and this and that. We all know that. But in a more subtle way, Graham has said things like, well, with Ukraine, it looks like he's been flying around the world undermining the president on that. But also he'll say things like, well, time will tell if Donald Trump is going to be what he calls Reagan plus or Obama minus. So in other words, you know, if you don't do what I want, I'm going to immediately abandon you and say that you're worse than Obama. I mean, what kind of friend talks that way about another friend? I mean, it's this. Half the time he's talking about Trump. It's an implied threat. Have you noticed the same thing.
Mark Lynch
Oh, yeah. We show people the video back when he, Lindsay, ran against Trump for president. And, and at the end of the CNN interview, he said in another thing, you know, how you make America great again? Tell Donald Trump to go to hell. Right? And then when Biden won, he ran over to the more popular corner of the Senate chambers. They start worrying about their next campaign and the voters. So he, he decided Trump's an embarrassment and caused the insurrection. And he walked away from him, said, I'm just done. We all saw it live on the TV that night. And then he gets in the car and does a selfie video or whatever and says, Biden won. How can you not like Joe Biden? He said, I got to tell you, you got to look at yourself in the mirror if you don't like Joe Biden. And then his voting record proves it. You know, when we first launched this campaign, I have a Breitbart article. And Breitbart contacted us and we said, they said, we don't know what y' all are doing, but we've never seen Lindsay moved to the right this early in the campaign cycle. And the article is a private conversation Obama's head pollster of his campaign, Paul Harstadt's having with John Podesta, who was working with Hillary and was involved in Pizzagate or whatever. And the punchline of the article is, Obama's team all agreed Lindsey Graham will be the greatest ally to the Democrat Party we have ever seen. And that's correct. That's who he is. He's not a flip flopper. He's a traitor to the party, a traitor to the country. He doesn't really care about Trump, and Trump's just using him. He endorsed him, you know, in 2024, Tom Trump posted on Truth Social, the reason Lindsey Graham won. It's my fault. The only reason he got into office again was because I endorsed him. And he endorsed him again in 25 for this campaign season we're fixing to finish in June. Everybody says, how, how can he do that? And, you know, people are scratching their heads and they're very disappointed in Trump, but they still are loyal to him. And the social media poll says that endorsement won't save Lindsey Graham in South Carolina this time. Lindsay's flushing, and there's no amount of money or anything you can do to stop it. God's removing him and it's time.
Tom Woods

I can't remember if it was the Hill or Politico, but it's one of those mainstream outlets. Had an article four or five years ago in, well, I don't know, it was somewhere around then in which they identified Lindsey Graham as being the President's best friend across the aisle when it came to getting his judges through. And it's interesting that the judges are the people that Trump is having trouble with. Now he wants to shut such and such down, shut this thing down. They won't let him shut it down or they won't let him withdraw the funding for such and such. So he's dealing with the very problem that it looks like Lindsay Graham helped to hand to him by being so cooperative on the judges.
Mark Lynch
Yep. And a lot of those judges were Biden's picks. You know, at the first of Trump's new term, this time, he wrote an executive order to end the child transgender mutual mutilation surgeries. And Judge Hurston that Lindsay picked blocked that and reversed that decision, nullified the executive order. And so it's just wicked, evil stuff that's going on. And Lindsay's hands are always involved in it. And you know, his other nickname is Grandesty. He talks about defunding and ending these sanctuary cities in the country that he helped create when he was letting everybody coming in and wanting to grant all the illegal aliens amnesty when they got here. And you can't do that. You know, there, there are drug cartel people, there are terrorists reported to their signed locations in America. Not everybody coming across the border wants the American dream. They're here to destroy this country. I have righteous anger over this. And that's why I call him a traitor. Because what he's doing is treasonous acts when he's funding and supporting enemies of this nation, allowing the border wall to stay open, granting amnesty to all the illegal aliens in the country, and on and on and on, killing babies and all the things he's doing. So it's just horrible. And I'm asking all the Republicans out there that are listening, if you say you are a Republican, how could you vote for Lindsay Graham again? You know, there are the establishment people that just keep their head in the sand and we're just, we've always supported the Republican Party. Well, you're supporting enemies of the country by allowing a traitor like Lindsey Graham to get reelected three and four times. How much do we need to see people are dying over the decisions that he's responsible for in the way he's voting? He talks about the Lake and Raleigh Act. I've said it publicly. I'll, I'll fly him anywhere and we'll go to the Lake and Riley home together because this is another direct mail piece. Graham leads the passage of the Lake and Raleigh act to crack down on illegal immigration. He sent this out in the beginning of the campaign season. What a joke. His open border voting records and amnesty that he granted allowed that couple's daughter to get raped and killed. That's the truth. And how much, how much more are we all going to accept and put up with it and keep denying that that's what's happening? He's not boating and not doing the right thing. What he's doing is America last and we've got to get him out.
Tom Woods
I was of course going to ask you to talk about your personal background, your business background. You did talk about that a bit. But to get to know you a little more, I guess I'd like to know, who would you describe? Maybe a couple of names as secular figures or sources who have influenced the way you think.
Mark Lynch
You know, my father was awesome. He's a strong Christian man, World War II veteran. I have friends that are CPAs, bankers, attorneys in our business realm of my executive team that are all good. But you know, I was in the Boy Scouts back when Boy Scouts was boys. Harold Stone, our scout master, was just the greatest. He had like four daughters. And so our Scout troop that had like 70 Scouts in it in the Blue Ridge Council, in the Greenville Anderson Travelers rest area where our scout troop was and competed at Camp Old Indian every summer. We won everything there was every summer. Every one of our four patrols was bigger than any other Scout troops troop because we had a scout master that was just like a, just a gift of a second father type figure that would sit around the campfire and make peach cobbler in a, in a crock pot on the stove of cast iron crock pot on the fire. And it was just fabulous. And we Would listen to his stories. And if there was everything I was a part of, that was number one. That was our troop two in Boy Scouts back in the 70s. It was. It was amazing. So I love Mr. Stone, and I've always had. God's always put older men in my life. I had a estate planner in our company, Mr. Winston Stevenson. He was from Jamaica, came to America, got his citizenship years ago. He passed away about 15 years ago. He's with the Lord now, but he would smoke a pipe, and I love that guy. And I would. I would love to go to lunch with him. He loved my father and he loved me, and we became best friends. And he was another mentor to me that just was full of wisdom. And I love older people listening to their life experiences that can save us from a lot of trouble if we listen, you know. And so, man, What a blessing Mr. Stevenson was. He was like a second dad to me. And there's many, many more. I don't know everything. I think humility is realizing, you know, what I know I don't know anything. And I need to rely on God and his wisdom and instruction for everything. So that takes the pressure off in every big decision I need to make in life. With many counselors comes success, so I don't have to make a decision by myself. I won't. That's not wise. I bring in the right people here. I pray to God and. And wait and come back and look at things again and make a decision when we know it's the right one.
Tom Woods
What would you say to people who remind you that what you already know, which is that in South Carolina. Well, let me start again, because Donald Trump came to South Carolina in one of the debates and in a debate in South Carolina, turned to Jeb Bush and said that your brother lied us into a war all those years ago. And that was a shocking thing to say. And people said, oh, they kept saying, donald Trump is finished. All through 2016, he said he made this remark. They would say, he's finished now. He would say something else. They'd say, well, now he's surely finished. Well, then in South Carolina, he said that. And they all said, well, South Carolina has important, you know, military installations and a lot of veterans in there. And, boy, he's going to be sorry he said that. But it turns out he wasn't. It turns out there were a lot of people who were silently nodding their heads saying, yeah, the man got to admit, the man is telling the truth. But what do you say to people who say, well, the military is a big. Is an important feature of South Carolina.
Mark Lynch
Yeah, I mean, I being America first, I'm a fierce competitor and I'll do what I have to do to protect this country. And so listen, I'm glad Trump's the president right now. He has respect across the world because he'll do what he says. He has a great Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, that'll do the right thing. And he's intelligent and swift and has a great staff around him. The generals are great, and we're executing on all eight cylinders, you might say, or whatever. When we have to go to war. And we're doing it, we're doing it with great planning and proud of our military. But I don't want to put them into needless wars that's just causing trillions of dollars again when it's unnecessary. We got to know that that's the last reason, the last decision is to go to war ever, because we're. I mean, it's about life, right? We've got to try to avoid war at all cost and not be controlled by other countries. We got to protect America's sovereignty. We need to get out of the United Nations. We don't need them telling us anything. We need to make our own decisions. You know, I stand with Israel. My Lord and Savior was the king of the Jews. I have a flag in our chapel at our store where we teach the gospel on Tuesday mornings and Thursday mornings. We have the American flag and the Christian flag and the Don't Tread on Me flag. And then we have the flag of Jerusalem and the flag of Israel. But if I go to the U.S. senate, Tom, I work for America, not Israel or not other countries. I support America, and we'll stand with Israel if we can afford to. You know, maybe they could loan us some money and send us some jets and help us replenish our inventories. But no, I agree. We got to have a strong military. And it brings me to my life first. John 15:13. There is no greater love than he that's willing to lay down his life for his friends. Jesus said, and all of our military was willing to do that. They committed to that, to go fight for the country. And then some of these wars we go into, that we decided to go unconstitutionally. We hadn't won one of them since World War II. And there's something to that. And I know Congress has infiltrated with jihadists that are in there. And I agree with Trump. Some of those decisions can't be discussed amongst the people that are inside the walls of Congress, and we got to clean that out. So on that I'll say, listen, I support Trump and I support his ability to honor his oath to defend against foreigner domestic enemies. So I know his motives are correct and he's shown us who he is. He's been through persecution, geez, crazy stuff. And he's still willing to run. And he's in the office again, serving our country. So it's a complicated chessboard out there. And I have to trust that we're making decisions based on good information. If he's got bad actors around him like Lindsey Graham, he's not going to get good information. Lindsay's got self interest, career, money and things like that. Plus he loves, he loves war. That's always his first decision. That's the last decision. And our military needs to not be put in harm's way and then get home and get laughed at. And they get their legs and arms blown off or killed or they have trauma from explosives going off near them and brain damage. For what? You know, we can't get involved in every conflict in the world. If this America, absolutely we will.
Tom Woods
What's your position on foreign aid?
Mark Lynch
Well, it's not constitutional. And so again, when we can't afford what we're doing here at home, we're putting ourself at risk by sending our money everywhere that we're printing that's not based on anything. It's all fiat currency. And we got to end the Federal Reserve and get back home gold and silver and back our money with something real that's tangible.
Tom Woods
So you would favor there'd be no foreign aid bill whatsoever that you would vote in favor of?
Mark Lynch
I would have to see it. There's always exceptions.
Tom Woods
But if it's unconstitutional, well, then there's an answer. Yeah, so. Because, I mean, you can always ask people for voluntary contributions and they will see what comes from that. Well, what's your website?

The Tom Woods Show
Episode 2756: Let's Put Lindsey Graham in a Home
Release Date: April 30, 2026
Guests: Tom Woods (host), Mark Lynch (South Carolina Senate candidate)
Tom Woods welcomes Mark Lynch, a businessman and grassroots activist running in the South Carolina Republican Senate primary against incumbent Lindsey Graham. The episode critically examines Lindsey Graham’s Senate record—especially on foreign policy and South Carolinian representation—and highlights Lynch’s case for unseating Graham. Themes include criticism of establishment politicians, a return to constitutional conservatism, foreign policy skepticism, and the role of character and faith in public service.
“Where is he? He’s been AWOL from South Carolina. … Everything he does is to benefit Lindsey.”
“If this last poll was done, Tom, it reverses. I go to 34% and Lindsey drops to 23… There’s about 24–26% undecided out there. And they’re coming over every day.”
“We’ve grown the business with God at the center. … I’ll bring those qualities into D.C.”
“It needs to be a direct, imminent threat. I'm America first… I’m not going to go over to my neighbor’s house because I think he might come attack us.”
“And his other nickname is 'Grandesty.' … I'm asking all the Republicans out there that are listening, if you say you are a Republican, how could you vote for Lindsay Graham again?”
On Graham’s Unpopularity:
(Tom Woods, 00:24)
“Despite all my travels, I have never once met a Lindsey Graham supporter.”
On Conservative Credentials:
(Mark Lynch, 01:40)
“He’s not America first, he’s America last. And he’s South Carolina last. But he’s Lindsey first.”
On Election Strategy:
(Mark Lynch, 03:46)
“He’s just a man, he can be beaten.”
On Federal Overreach and COVID:
(Mark Lynch, 15:04 & 18:59)
“I told the police, if you want to arrest me, do it … We threw [DHEC and OSHA] out of the store, you know, because I don’t put up with that.”
On Foreign Policy:
(Tom Woods, 14:03)
“Nothing makes the mainstream Dems and the mainstream Republicans kiss and make up faster than a dissident outsider like a Ron Paul or like, I presume, yourself.”
On Graham Betraying Trump:
(Mark Lynch, 22:19)
“He’s not a flip-flopper. He’s a traitor to the party, a traitor to the country. He doesn’t really care about Trump, and Trump’s just using him.”
Personal Influences:
Lynch highlights his father, mentors such as Boy Scout master Harold Stone, and friends in the local business and legal community for shaping his values. He emphasizes humility, teamwork, and reliance on a broader counsel.
On Military and Foreign Alliances:
Lynch supports a strong military but primarily “defends America’s sovereignty” and opposes entangling alliances or wars unless absolutely necessary:
“If I go to the U.S. Senate, Tom, I work for America, not Israel or not other countries. I support America, and we’ll stand with Israel if we can afford to.”
On Foreign Aid and Sound Money:
Lynch opposes foreign aid as unconstitutional, calling for the abolition of the Federal Reserve and a return to a currency backed by gold and silver.
