Tony Kennett. Tony Kennett. Tony Kennett, host of the Tony Kennett Cast. Let's get down to business. You're listening to the Tony Kennett cast on 93 WIBC on CYTV. Good evening and welcome to the Tony Knitcast here on the Daily Signal, nationally syndicated 1st out of 93 WIBC, to all of our fantastic syndication partners on radio and tv, a fine hello to all of our livestream viewers on YouTube, X and Rumble and then of course, the podcast crew. We actually had a whole list of things to dig into before we get to news that broke between when we got the stream scheduled and and you know, the thumbnail made and everything like that, you know, to when we actually get the show moving. So we're going to get you right up to base here. It appears that a flight has left from Florida, southern Florida, flight numeric November 102, whiskey golf heading over the Atlantic and is was just over Newfoundland, Newfoundland a couple of seconds ago. Now, what in the world does one little private flight have to do with anything? Well, it just so happens that according to Reuters this afternoon and then later confirmed by CNN and a good friend of the show, the Daily Wire's Cassie Akiva, special envoy Steve Witkoff is going to be in Moscow on Wednesday to meet with Russian leadership. This comes amid brand new and breaking information. This over from Bloomberg. Go figure. Showing that Russia is beginning to weigh in on whether or not they're going to accept a Ukrainian air truce offered to Trump without ending the war. Now this should be a couple of this should really, you know, put up a flag here for you. And this is something that those of us in the broadcasting industry like, again, Ben Dykes, who we appreciate stopping by as well, excellent guy, excellent show. On the broadcasting side of things. There's something that when you see a lot of propaganda from foreign ministries whose entire thing that they do is try to convince you that their country has everything under control and yours is falling apart. When Dmitry Medvedev said we're pulling back from all the treaties, we're going to put nukes everywhere on coast in babushkas the shah, we're going to put nuclear devices everywhere. Ah, ah, ah. Trump said, well, how about a Submarine right next to your bathroom, where we know you are right now, tweeting from the toilet, because that's the kind of guy that Donald Trump is when it comes to foreign policy. And now, all of a sudden, after Trump really levied a couple of serious economic threats, not only through primary tariffs and, well, the blockade of the Russian economy by many Western nations, but also secondary tariffs and secondary cutoffs in access to the Russian market, um, you have a very, very interesting increase in tariffs, 25, 30%, 40%, possibly into India, in which the Bodie administration, though usually friendly with President Trump, said, well, we're gonna keep buying Russian oil and, and kind of selling it afterhand on the market. And Trump said, well, then we're gonna do some secondary tariffs and sanctions here to squish the Russian economy, who isn't playing nice, isn't playing the way that Trump wants Putin to play. And now we are actually starting to witness the beginning of Russia, starting to say, you know what, maybe this can't go on forever. Now, these particular peace deals aren't coming as quickly as the Cambodia and the Thailand ceasefire, as the India and the Pakistan, or the Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, or the Iranian Israeli ceasefire, or the interim period with the Hamas and Israel kind of pseudo ceasefire that now is being moved all the way through to its final point. But in this particular instance, it does look like we're starting to see Trump get what he wants. Now, Trump signed an executive order today very heavily limiting the amount of freedom that banks and financial institutions in the United States have to debank individuals. And this is important because. Very well. Shortly before the show, the New York Post released an article showing that JP Morgan and the bank of America debanked Trump under pressure from the Biden administration over January 6th. Let's talk about debanking. You likely have some kind of a local bank that you go to. I bank at the Perfect Circle Credit Union, because they're excellent. I love my credit union. That's not a sponsor. That's just a personal preference. As far as a couple of other banks and institutions that we have accounts in, they have online services, and there is not necessarily a little box in St. Louis or New York or Washington, D.C. in which capital One, for instance, has a little metal box of my money and scribbled on the side, and Expo is Tony Kenneth's money also. Tony is a very handsome man. As true as that would be. That's just not how that works. A lot of that is essentially converted into digital assets and management, and then the banking infrastructure controls whether or not I have access to online banking. And that's a huge part the user interface, a huge part of the banking system. Well, it just so turns out that when political pressure comes from the government based on maybe an investigation from the irs. We'll get to that with Senator Cotton in just a moment. It turns out that during the age of DEI wokeification, Karen's running human resource boards and legal teams saying that anyone who would dare suggest Covid came from a Wuhan laboratory, anyone who would dare suggest that black people were just as able to compete on a character level, on a skills level, on a merit level, with anyone else. If you suggested that we should judge someone by the content of their character instead of the color of their skin, if you said that women couldn't be men and vice versa, if you suggested that only moms were those who were pregnant people, well, then you might get debanked and lose access to your financial materials like an asset forfeiture. Except now you are completely forbidden from engaging with entire sectors of the economy. And again, according to sources from the New York Post, this is Charles Gasparino reporting earlier this afternoon that J.P. morgan of the bank of America had debanked President Trump for his role in the January 6th Capitol Hill melee following pressure from the Biden administration's banking regulators and the Federal Reserve producer. Nick, can you do me a favor? Can you just, you know, little, little search here? Can you tell me who was the chairman of the Federal Reserve in 2020 and 2021? Just a little, little research there for me.
Producer Nick
You know, it may come as a.
Tony Kennett
Surprise, but it was Powell, Jerome Powell. Why? I was assured that man was as pure as the driven snow. That man is as clean as a crick. You do baptisms in there, is I. Goodness gracious me. So I have a couple of questions here. First of all, if there is an individual in the federal government that is pressuring private entities to take action against individuals in the United States, I believe that should be a significant violation of the law. I don't believe that you should have the Trump administration, the Biden administration, the Obama administration, the Bush administration, the Bill Clinton administration, or any other prior administration, past, present or future, the Vance or the Ocasio Cortez administrations, God forbid, telling private corporations who they should or should not do business with in the United States. Internationally, it's a different story because the centralized federal government, again, one of the big reasons we got rid of the Articles of Confederation, one of the many, is because the government of the United States, not individual states and entities, should be in charge of foreign policy here at home. Though Trump has no authority to call up Apple and go, listen here, you gotta get rid of Tony. He's got a MacBook. Kick him out. You shouldn't have that. You shouldn't have Biden's cronies, especially not the Chairman of the Federal Reserve, which I was assured would be independent for going after Trump, who, according to the evidence, wanted to send in the National Guard and Nancy Pelosi, whose charge it was then as the speaker of the House to authorize sending in the National Guard, refused. A murky situation made far murkier. So I am expecting a couple of serious investigations which are going to come from people like Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas. By the way, if there is anyone who is listening to the show that is chums with those in Senator Cotton's office, I would be thrilled to have him on the show. We've had a couple of great senators on the show, and I have not had the pleasure of meeting this senator yet. But this man has started more investigations into crony operations than any senator I am aware of in U.S. history. Today, just eight hours ago, he put the Council on Islamic Relations. CAIR purports to be a civil rights organization that protects the rights of American Muslims. But evidence confirms that CAIRN national has deep ties to terrorist organizations. This is objectively true. I've asked the IRS to investigate their nonprofit status. Nonprofit status is a privilege, not a right. He is 100% correct. Radio crew, we know you guys have commercials to get to. We'll get you to them. We're going to continue on the live stream where the FCC doesn't require us to break. There. It's the Tony Kenned cast here on the Daily Signal. Now. I have in fact spoken with individuals from CARE before. There is a guy who pesters me constantly with emails about really stupid and ridiculous subjects and things that he wants everyone to talk about at all times. CAIR is a garbage organization which makes Muslims in the United States who are decent people, look terrible and amplifies the voices of those who are part of the radical groups of Islam in the United States and abroad who are growing by the day. Real caliphate nonsense. There is no reason that a group that is providing either PR support for foreign terror organizations openly or financial support for those operatives in the United States or CARE or aiding and abetting, should be allowed to have nonprofit status. When I ran Choice Media and Education Nonprofit, I was examined ridiculously through the Biden administration's IRS and whether or not it would be allowed for me to move the nonprofit from at the time, New Jersey to Indiana, where I currently am, care just gets to operate and do whatever it is that they want. Because, you know, God forbid anyone ever offends a person who prays towards Mecca. So those things all said, let's get to the main breaking story that the entire show was built on. Now that some of the bigger breaking things are out of the way, President Trump is preparing to level the Boom at Washington, D.C. this is something he talked about during his campaign. It is something that I and many have advocated for years. The United States Capitol, the District of Columbia, used to be a shining beacon of American architecture, of American ingenuity, of American art, and not to mention the beacon of freedom from which all states and commonwealths sent their best and in Connecticut's case, their worst, and then created laws that we as an American people backed up by the opinions of the judicial and the execution of the executive. And it has become a festering swamp that is more closely related to Mos Eisley, as Ben Kenobi describes it in Star wars, that it only has, at least by gross, you know, domestic product, a slightly smaller amount of feces on the streets than San Francisco. And why do I bring this up? Because last night there was a disturbing crime in Washington, D.C. in which President Trump writes local youths, he puts in quotes, and gang members, some only 14, 15 and 16 years old, are randomly attacking, mugging, maiming and shooting innocent citizens at the same time, knowing they will be almost immediately released. This is true, this is absolutely, objectively correct, that in Washington, D.C. and blue cities around the country, including in red states. Ryan Mears, here again in my home state of Indiana, has ruined Indianapolis even more than it already was because they will arrest individuals for committing heinous violent crimes and just let them back out on the streets, especially if they're illegal immigrants. Mayor Bowser's Washington, D.C. is just that bad. The homeless encampments around places like Union Station were and are filthy and disgusting. Now, I do want to talk about very briefly here the, the attack that Trump is referencing. One of the guys in charge of Doge Big Big Balls, as his username was or is, was walking throughout downtown Washington, D.C. and saw an old lady, according to the CCTV footage, which is a little too graphic to show y' all being attacked by a group of seven or eight individuals. And he then jumped in to save this woman who was being attacked and then got the living tar beat out of him by seven or eight youths. And again, we can't show the picture, but it's very bloody and gross. And President Trump has announced that it may be finally time. And Senator Mike Lee of Utah backs this up. We're going to have to bring the radio crew in from commercial here in just a second. It's time to pass the Bowser act, revoke the D.C. home rule and return Washington, D.C. to the control of Congress directly. And we're going to get to that. Here we have the radio crew to bring back from their commercial break. It's the Tony Kennett cast here on the Daily signal, nationally syndicated, first on 93 WIBC. Don't go anywhere. It's the Tony Kennett cast on 93 WIPC. You saw me standing by the welcome back to the Tony Knitcast here on the Daily Signal, nationally syndicated, first on 93 WIBC. Getting right off the bat here, there are a couple of things that the Trump administration is starting to move towards that he promised during the campaign phase that are going to make some major changes in the American body politic as a whole. One of these things is in fact that Trump is appearing to move towards re federalizing Washington, D.C. so Trump pointed out the most recent victim of this series of very violent crimes in Washington was beaten mercilessly by local thugs. Washington, D.C. must be safe, clean and beautiful for all Americans and importantly for the world to see. If D.C. doesn't get its act together and quickly, we will have no choice but to take federal control of the city and run the city how it should be run and put criminals on notice that they are not going to get away with it anymore. And then he says one of the truest things that have ever come out of his face hole. Perhaps it should have been done a long time ago. Then this incredible young man and so many others would not have had to go through the horrors of violent crime. If this continues, I am going to exert my powers and federalize the city. Make America great again. Now Trump can federalize Washington, D.C. for a short amount of time. Essentially, if the crime becomes so bad that Trump has to declare some kind of a localized emergency, he has that power to do so. And I'm more than certain that Governor Glenn Youngkin would be more than happy to volunteer the Virginia National Guard in that situation, although as the commander in chief of federal forces and given that Washington, D.C. is a zone of federal territory, not in Maryland or Virginia, then the National Guard isn't necessarily needed. You can go right to the Marines, active duty army, send in the Rangers in Fact, you know what, actually just detach the 82nd Airborne, who are always ready to beat up a couple of thugs on any American street. So aside from, you know, which particular units I would love seeing sent into Washington D.C. here, Senator Mike Lee of Utah posted quote, we passed the Bowser Act. This is a congressional act that would return the Washington D.C. federal District of Columbia into the hands of Congress. We revoke the D.C. home rule, essentially, which allows Washington D.C. to operate as a city with its own polity, voting in its own little special ways for things which again are rather unconstitutional. And then says we govern Washington through Congress as constitution originally provided. Correct. Here's the dirty secret about Washington D.C. and I'm going to level this with you. Washington D.C. should really only be about at most, at most a square mile in size. That's really pushing it. Maybe a half a mile square in size. It should really include only the federal buildings, the central core streets of Washington D.C. there really should not be mass residences for anyone. Anyone except maybe senators and representatives. Federal bureaucratic. They don't need to live in the actual Washington D.C. the entire residential zones of Washington D.C. should be split up between Maryland and Virginia. Oh, but that'll give them more elect. I don't care. Washington D.C. is not supposed to be a state. And if, in case you were wondering how close we came to a horrendous change in the United States, had Kamala Harris won election after she finished cackling, very likely you would have seen her stack the Supreme Court. You would have then seen Congress with a Democrat majority admit Puerto rico and Washington D.C. into the Union, permanently allocating a Democrat Senate in the United States. And you think Washington D.C. is corrupt as a local polity who, boy, wait until they have senators. Trump is rolling back what the clock to the Jim Crow era as he's being accused of? No, he is returning Washington D.C. to what it was originally envisioned to be. Now, most likely you will in fact have some residential areas that are a part of a re federalized Washington D.C. which does bring a couple of questions. What about taxation without representation? Would individuals in Washington D.C. have to pay taxes to D.C. itself if Congress reasserted power? I don't care. I don't care. I don't. I go to D.C. at least four times a year. More like once a month at this point because of how quickly the show has blown up, thanks to y'. All. And when I go there, I despise having to look over my shoulder because I can't carry in Washington D.C. like I can here in the state of Indiana, lawless zones inside states should not be allowed to exist under the cloak and dagger of local government. That's not what local government was set up to be. There are states around the country in which governors are starting to weigh the idea of sending in National Guards to reassert state control over capital zones in districts like Indiana, for example, in Indianapolis or Atlanta in Georgia, that are becoming such crime riddering, crime ridden, festering hellholes that enough is, in fact, enough. So, again, the President of the United States describing this event today, by the.
Way, I have to say that somebody from Doge was very badly hurt last night. You saw that? A young man who was beat up by a bunch of thugs in D.C. and either they're going to straighten their act out in the terms of government and in terms of protection, or we're going to have to federalize and run it the way it's supposed to be run.
Yeah, good. And I'm sure there will be pearl clutching all over this. Now let's actually dig into something that is also causing a lot of pearl clutching. And it's kind of a panic at the redistrict. Okay, sorry. The Democrats have decided that the Texas legislature redistricting gerrymandering is a very, very bad thing. And so the Democrat governors of the three most gerrymandered states in the union, New York, California and Illinois, have decided to make their states sanctuary states for Democrat. Texas. State legislators that ran fled, broke quorum illegally to states like Illinois and have been fighting bravely. A resistance that involves recording videos of themselves on private jets and, you know, eating salads and other kind of nonsense. Oh, yeah, that's right. And people like State Representative Jalanda Jones, who's suggesting that because the Texas legislature voted to issue a warrant for arrest for these individuals who are derelict in their duty, they have broken the oath they swore to uphold when taking office in Texas. Texas has got one heck of an oath, too. Like, that's one of those so help me God kind of oaths when you get elected. So in this case, Jalanda Jones decides that clearly what's going on in Texas is just the Holocaust all over again.
Jasmine Crockett
And then integration happened and everybody thought, they accept us, they don't accept us. They are showing us who they are, we should believe them, and we better have the courage to stand up, otherwise we will fall for anything. And in this country, we will be defeated, deported. I mean, we will lose all of our rights. And if you think it can't happen, it can. And I will liken this to the Holocaust. People are like, well, how did the Holocaust happen? How is somebody in a position to kill all them people? Well, good people remain silent or. Or good people didn't realize that what happens to them can very soon happen to me or somebody I love. And so you. And even so, even if you made it, man, you have an obligation to help people who can't, because God forbid they end up targeting you and your family.
Tony Kennett
Oh, no. Oh, it's just like the Holocaust. Oh, man. Again, rules for the. Not for me. I love this so much. Please continue to say this nonsense. CBS is also playing into this. I know. I'm also shocked. Giving the Texas state representatives the opportunity to mourn and cry and whine on camera. It's beautiful. Here you go, Governor, the attorney general say they may seek your arrest. You willing to go to jail over this? We knew there were going to be consequences, and I think all of us know that this is bigger than us as individuals. It's bigger than the jobs we have. We are fighting for the American. For those who are listening, I'm sorry, Hold on. Sorry. Shut up, dude. For those who are listening, who can't see this guy, I want you to imagine Beto o', Rourke, but yet his younger, more annoying somehow brother. That's what this dude looks like. Experiment. We are fighting for representative democracy and whether or not that will continue. And so we. We're willing to face whatever consequences may.
Texas Democratic Congresswoman
Come our way, but also want to make sure people recognize this threat of arrest. This is not normal. Do not think that we.
Tony Kennett
Oh, it's not normal where you arrest. Oh, a threat of arrest isn't normal? Oh, well, I guess that 2019, Oregon. Oregon Democrats issuing an arrest warrant for derelict Republicans who fled to Idaho. You know, that's like, oh, wait, that's not 1919. That's 2019. Oh, then you know, a couple of years ago, when the Wisconsin state legislature issued an arrest warrant for Republican legislators who had fled the state in Wisconsin. Oh, this happens, like, all the freaking time. Nonsense. Every single day until unprecedented. Okay, yeah, great. Thanks. Radio crew, we got to send you off to commercial. Trust me. You might want to hop on the live stream for this one. It's. It's. The clips are that good. It's the Tony Kenneth cast. All right, so the Jasmine Crockett response, because Jasmine Crockett, with the redistricting, she's not being cut out of her district. She is simply being put in a place that there is now a more competitive edge to her district. And the funny the funny thing is the polling numbers suggest that it's not as though Jasmine Crockett's district is being whitewashed because that's what they're trying to. That's what she would be claiming up and down, left and right, everywhere. Oh, no, there's all these white people. Now. There are in fact a pretty similar number of individuals of diverse demographic communities. They just don't vote extremely to the left. And so Jasmine Crockett could very well lose her seat, which I know, look, I know, I know. That is a shame. That's sad. I too am upset by this. But this frees her up to run for the Senate in Texas. Freeze her up to run for the Senate in Texas. That's pretty exciting stuff. So Jasmine Crockett, God bless her, she's out here saying, you know, Governor Abbott and you cute little warrants, here you go.
Texas Democratic Congresswoman
Joining us now for more is Texas Democratic Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett. Congressman, thank you so much as always for joining us. Governor Abbott just announced that he has ordered the Texas Department of Public Safety to find and arrest the House Democrats who have fled this state. You're in the Chicago area of Democratic representatives. What's the plan with them? Obviously, at some point you have to return to the state of Texas eventually. So ultimately, does it seem that it's a foregone.
Tony Kennett
By the way, the way the, the reason the ABC person is suggesting, whatever her name is, discount Claire Huxtable is suggesting that, oh, well, someday you're gonna have to return, you know, to Texas is because the Texas Democrats have done this before every single time they have gone back to Texas.
Texas Democratic Congresswoman
Conclusion that this bill will pass.
Tony Kennett
I don't say ultimately, I never say ultimately because I don't have a give up attitude whatsoever. But right now the governor has decided that he wants to waste more of Texan's resources by deciding that he's going to send out the troopers. And listen, I don't even think that he's going to do that. I think he's just talking earlier today.
By the way, he has, he has actually sent out the troopers. And yeah, nothing says, oh man, he's there. He's wasting resources. While the Texas Democrats are holding up the proceedings of Texas keeping disaster relief funds from being distributed to Texans, bipartisan legislation cannot move forward because they don't have quorum. There is no televoting here. Just stupid. I love it. I love it so much. Please, more. Jasmine Crockett. More.
Today I posted a copy of the warrant that was signed by the sponsor because it's the speaker of the House that can put the call on the House, not the governor. And no one came to get me last time. In fact, it is a cute little warrant that has a cute little frame on it. And so they like to talk a big game. But the reality is that, number one, you have a lot of intelligent attorneys that actually serve in the Texas House. And so they know that there's nothing that he can do outside of the Texas jurisdiction to bring them in this.
Again, first of all, no, it does, it does have a warrant. Just because I leave Indiana and decide I'm going to go somewhere else doesn't mean that all laws relating to Indiana suddenly stop having any kind of an effect on me. And even if they did, these are members of the legislature of Texas. You don't get to just pretend all of a sudden that the oath doesn't matter. And again, Trump was asked, you know, well, are you going to send in the FBI? Well, you know what, you going to send in someone to help them? Illinois and Maryland are all going to redraw their maps to add safe.
Well, they'll do it anyway.
Is it worth it?
Yeah, they'll do it anyway. Why, if we stop over there, they would have done it anyway. Look, a lot of these.
Jasmine Crockett
I'm a lawyer. A part of my practice is criminal defense work. There is no.
Tony Kennett
This is going to be a fun fight. This is going to be fun. We'll be back in a second. Don't go anywhere. It's the Tony Kenneth cast here on the Daily Signal. You're listening to the Tony Kenneth cast on 93 WIBC. Welcome back to the Tony Kenned Cast. The redistricting panic continues from those over on the left. And it's really funny. It is. It's a good hoot. And President Trump has indicated now that, well, you know, maybe, maybe, perhaps we send in the, the FBI to help these particular individuals maybe, you know, be brought home to Texas. Here was the president is asking for your help to force Democrats back to the state and hold them accountable. Do you want the federal government and the FBI to help locate and arrest these Texas Democrats who have left the state?
Well, I think they've abandoned the state. Nobody's seen anything like it, even though they've done it twice before. And in a certain way, it almost looks like they've abandoned the state. It looks very bad. Yeah. Go ahead, please.
FBI get involved. Should the FBI get involved?
Well, they may have to. They may have to know I know they want him back. Not only the attorney general the governor wants him back. If you look, I mean, the, the governor of Texas is demanding they come back. So a lot of people are demanding they come back. You can't just sit it.
So one of the reasons that this matters is that Governor Abbott has suggested that these individuals may, in fact have violated the law on bribery. And we went over this on the top news in 10 last night. Yeah, the federal statute on bribery, you know, the same one that Representative no one cares who is the district law attorney person says isn't a felony. Yeah. Taking bribery, in other words, taking goods to fly to another state. So if someone's like, hey, guess what, I'll fly you to Illinois if you want to go on my private jet. That's bribery. You can't participate in that. You can't do it during election season. If someone wants to advertise on the show, I have to report that in a different way than if I advertise during the regular time. When you start messing with the government, things get weird. There are laws you have to play by. Texas is one of those states that has a lot of pretty spicy laws when it comes to that. Now, I do want to again, my, my, my heart goes out to people like Jasmine Crockett who've decided the response to this is say that they're going to knock y' all out over this. Like, like this is somehow going to be a big winning issue for the Democrats now.
And I'm sorry, but instead, we are not only going to punch you back, but we are going to knock you out. So I fully anticipate that we are going to take control of, of the United States House because that is what the American people want. And that is why, Donald, this is.
What you're going to hear. This is the narrative that's, that's now taken place. Republicans. Oh, man, the big beautiful bill was so unpopular. They're going to lose the house in 2026. No, again, according to the polling data, Donald Trump right now is again fluctuating in the approval disapproval rate in the places that he always has. He is gaining popularity among Republicans. It is encouraging Republicans, every time there is a new announcement for a. Especially when you have Michael Watley running for the Senate in North Carolina against Cooper and you have Lara Trump instead of running in that race, focusing on her show and on RNC stuff. A very smart choice. When Republicans are running to win and Democrats are running people like Zoran Mamdani and Jasmine Crockett, we gonna knock you out. Okay, easy. It's not Friday. Calm down. It is this entire strategy for the left. They think that this is gonna win them the house, so they're gonna. They're gonna try to manifest this into existence. They did this with Kamala. Do you remember? Oh, I bet there's gonna be a ton of women who stay home because they don't want to turn into the Handmaid's Tale. Oh, I bet that that, in fact, Trump's gonna lose a ton of support among the black and Hispanic community. Oh, I bet Trump, everyone who. Who said they were liked him in the first term. See, now he's gone all fascist or whatever, and he's really gonna. They're gonna get him. Nope. No, it's not gonna. And that hasn't stopped the three. I mean, the three Musketeers of stupid. I mean, really, the. The three Stooges themselves have stepped out onto the national stage to somehow try and win a moment here. So Governor Gavin Newsom, who is in the middle of, like, four different scandals in California to replace the last four scandals that he has. He hasn't been on camera a lot in the last couple of days, but he's tried to suggest that California is going to gerrymander even harder in order to punch back against Texas. Guys, I'm gonna. I'm gonna be real straight with you here. If, first of all, California is only allowed to redistrict, like, every 10 years, and they just did this a couple of years ago. Number two, California has supposedly used an independent board to appoint federal or the seats for their electoral and their congressional map. So that's a little suspicious. And last but not least, why are you. You're using your own constituents as a bat to swing at people on a. A totally different state. That's like saying, man, I'm really mad at the people in Oklahoma. I'm gonna go slap someone from Ohio. That's how mad I am. What. Why. What is this? What are these decisions and why are you making them? But that's Gavin Newsom. Then we get over to Kathy Hochul, New York, who again, is facing multiple scandals. Now, Kathy Hochul, she's a real special thing and has decided that this is going to be the issue that she's ready to fight Trump on. Here you go, Kathy.
Texas Democratic Congresswoman
Well, Donald Trump and his co conspirator Greg Abbott erode our democracy and drag us toward authoritarianism.
Tony Kennett
There you go.
Texas Democratic Congresswoman
Now with Texas and Republican states are doing at the direction of Donald Trump, I say is nothing short of a legal insurrection against our Capitol. Legal meaning they're using the legal Process does not mean it's legal and it must be stopped. Republicans are willing to rewrite these rules to give themselves an advantage. Then they're leaving us no choice. We must do the same. There's a phrase, you have to fight fire with fire.
Tony Kennett
Wait a minute. I thought she just said that it was illegal. She's like, oh, it's not legal. They're using legal means, so we're gonna do the same thing. So are you saying, like, I'm going to ask New York assemblymen to commit crimes? Okay, either it's legal or it's not. Hun. You don't get it both ways here. Like in, you know, your marriage.
Texas Democratic Congresswoman
That is a true statement of how we're feeling right now. As I've said, another overused but applicable phrase. All's fair in love and war. That's why I'm exploring with our leaders every option to redraw our state congressional lines as soon as possible.
Tony Kennett
We're gonna Send down the 27th Regiment of Lesbian baristas because we're at war. And no one, no one talks that way to New York. Just brave, stunning, yes, Kathy Hochul. Now, I was asked recently because I have mentioned Kathy Hochul's brilliant speaking and political acumen in conjunction with computers before and that she, you know, said that black people didn't know what the word computer was. And so someone reached out and asked what the heck I was talking about. So here you go. Here's Kathy Hochul during the campaign saying that there are black children who didn't even know what computers were.
Texas Democratic Congresswoman
Young black kids growing up in the Bronx who don't even know what the word computer is. They don't know. They don't know these things. And I want the world open up to all of them, because when you have their diverse voices innovating solutions through technology, then you're really addressing society's broader challenges.
Tony Kennett
I really do enjoy that, that Hochul decided to say that, because there were a lot of memes that followed of black people rightly offended because what a disgusting comment. Like, picking up their computers and looking at them as though they would seem like chewing on the laptop. Like, what is this? Incredible. Incredible. Then JB Pritzker, who. It took us a while to find this clip because Google kept popping up videos of whales breaching. JB Pritzker is trying to look really, really tough again. The most gerrymandered state in the entire country. Uh, here's J.B. pritzker acting real tough with the Democrats behind him, including Hank Greenwood, is His dastardly deeds undone.
JB Pritzker
Let me be clear. We passed a map in Illinois that follows the Constitution, and that is not what Governor Abbott is trying to do in Texas.
Tony Kennett
Yes, this map.
JB Pritzker
We believe that the people of Texas deserve to have fair representation and not to have the game changed in the middle of the decade.
Tony Kennett
That's right.
JB Pritzker
They're already.
Tony Kennett
We're gonna send the radio crew over to commercial because now they want to.
JB Pritzker
Change it Again, that.
Tony Kennett
This is just from JB Pritzker. This is really special. We'll see you guys after the commercial break. It's the Tony Kinnit cast here on the Daily Signal. As Pritzker is talking, I want to point out notice on the right side of the screen, the current congressional map of Illinois. Two thirds of the state are only three congressional districts. Three of those three congressional districts you have. I think it's either like the. The 11th, the 12th, or the 15th. At the very bottom there, that entire southern third of Illinois is just one House seat. Then you have a weird, awkward, totally legit wink, wink slice that goes from the border of St. Louis up all the way through, like, this weird intestinal tract up to Springfield, because, again, you can't have districts that aren't touching. So they have to draw some kind of a map. And it's. It's incredible. Now, what surrounds it? There is one congressional district that surrounds this entire thing, and it looks like Croatia. So Croatia is a sea all, like, all the way around. I believe it's Bosnia and Herzegovina. And so there's this, like, weird, awkward stripe that, like, wraps all the way around. And Pritzker, when he's not, you know, cosplaying as Pete from Disney, you know, the big chubby guy that's always mad at Goofy, you know, now see here, Goof, that one, he's. He's gonna lecture me about gerrymandering, no.
JB Pritzker
Doubt, will end up being litigated, too. But let me be clear that they are attempting to cheat. And, you know, I think we all know Donald Trump is a cheater. So is the Attorney General of Texas, Ken Paxton, in so many ways. And we here in Illinois believe that we're, you know, what is 2025? We've had elections now for, you know, the five years that this map has been in place. We want to continue to have those fair elections, and we're proud of the fact that Democrats do better than Republicans in those districts where they're hyper.
Tony Kennett
The man from Illinois, which holds Chicago Chiraq, known. Known for its voter fraud, known for its Corruption known for people from shore, unions wheeling in big old honking barrels of oats. That guy is going to tell the rest of us that, well, you know, of course Democrats are doing better. Gee, I, I'm rather surprised by that. You know, everyone else is a cheater. Oh, the irony is so palpable. I can hear Alanis Morissette's guitar now. There, there is a couple of. Of other pieces of news on this, and I do want to point out Trump did say quite accurately, you know, why encourage Texas? Because the DOJ has reached out to Texas and said, hey, you have a couple of districts right now that are kind of built based on demographics for color. Like, eventually you have, like, a mostly black district that it's kind of weird and may have some civil rights questions. Can you, can you fix that? Because that's not allowed because otherwise the Supreme Court will come in and go, nope. And Trump, you know, said, yeah, you should probably redistrict. He was asked why, and his answer was quite correct because, you know, they'll do it anyway. The Democrats will do it anyway. Who cares whether or not they're threatening things? Illinois and Maryland are all going to redraw their maps to add safe.
Well, they'll do it anyway.
Is it worth it?
Yeah, they'll do it anyway. Why, if we stop over there, they would have done it anyway. Look, a lot of these states, you know, I watched this morning as Democrats are complaining.
We got to head over to commercial and pick up the radio crew. It's the Tony Kenned cast here on the Daily Signal. Don't go anywhere. The Tony Kenneth Castle on 93 WIBC. All right, here's the deal. So there's a weird lag that's just glitching in and out. Not really sure what on earth it's doing that for. So we're gonna figure that out. It's probably an encoder setting that needs to be hot swapped real quick. It's a really great interview with Steven Kent of what you're watching. So we're gonna pull that back for you real soon. We'll actually upload that one over on The Daily Signals YouTube. So we'll make sure that gets all taken care of for you here pretty soon. Sorry about that one. Sometimes you have these weird glitches that nobody really asks for. But alas, it's. It's one of those things so quickly here at the, the end of, at the end of the show, I, I do want to mention, oh, it seems that we're still kind of Glitching out on the video side, but we're going to do our best here. We're just gonna press onward, as they say. So there's this weird argument here over on the kind of the right on the social media sphere that suggests that right now there is an authentic Make America Great Again movement. And then everyone else is a, it's a bunch of, it's a bunch of frauds. Now, again, I, I, I do want to point out that at least as far as the Make America Great Again movement is concerned, that right now, the only guy that gets to decide who makes up the Make America Great Again movement, that's President Trump. I mean, the dude did the things that he did. He made the decisions that he made, and he, he did so at great personal cost, which does, in fact, give the man the right in this particular case to decide what MAGA is and isn't. Right now we have a couple of individuals, both in the media sphere and then in the more representative congressional sphere of things, who have decided that they are the keepers of MAGA or whatever. These would be people like Marjorie Taylor Greene, who has suggested that they're going to get out there and, you know, leave the MAGA movement entirely because President Trump is still continuing to work alongside Israel in the Middle East. And I'll be real honest with you here, I just really do not see any point, any position at all, where Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia walks away with the MAGA movement because apparently she says, you know, oh, man, they've, they've really turned away from, you know, Israel. Oh, they're very mad at AIPAC and all this stuff, and that they're gonna go off with her instead of with Trump. And then there was something else that you were telling me today about Marjorie Taylor Greene and what her nonsense was up to. What was this?
Producer Nick
She released a formal letter to the President himself requesting a pardon for an interesting fellow, George Santos.
Tony Kennett
George Santos of New York, the one.
Producer Nick
Who said that he was going to pass away very soon after entering prison, but is completely fine still.
Tony Kennett
The one who did, like, absolutely everything stupid. Yeah, that particular George Santos. Oh, my gosh. So I'm, I'm not shocked or really quite surprised that Marjorie Taylor Greene would go for that. Not, Not a serious person. Not a serious person whatsoever. And there's a couple of people like this who were supposedly the leaders of the real American people. It's like Candace Owens, who decided to host a show called MAGA Funeral, where she's announcing that Donald Trump. Essentially, Candace Owens has just become like Black female Bernie Sanders, which is impressive. Uh, it's quite the transformation. I'm not going to attempt to do a. I'm not going to attempt an impersonation of what that is. But I do have actually, you know, just for you, here's Candace Owens suggesting over on, you know, Piers Morgan that, well, you know, Trump's a huge disappointment. Actually, American people are really angry at MAGA right now. The MAGA is moving on from Trump. Are you done with Donald Trump or could you see a way that you would end up perhaps voting for him? He can't run again, obviously, but would you support him publicly again?
I want to be clear, I don't regret voting for Donald Trump above Kamala. I think he was the better candidate, certainly a better candidate above Joe Biden. But what I will say is that he's been a chronic disappointment and I feel embarrassed that I told people to go vote for him because this wasn't going to happen. And it is happening. But I.
What, what are these incredible disappointments? The only individuals so far that I've seen who are disappointed in the new Trump administration are, are one of two people, number one, those who are chronically online and, and suggest that Donald Trump is somehow complicit in some big, huge Epstein cover up super duper alley Ooper, whatever, and that, you know, Jeffrey Epstein was busy running super psyops with Mossad with space lasers, somehow convincing just Hillary Clinton to create AIDS in Eastern Europe or whatever. Then the second crew is those who are on the more economically, I would say more traditionally conservative on economics and don't like Trump playing fast and loose with levers on the market which by the way, those particular tariffs as a negotiating mechanism have been successful in securing a lot of trade deals. Those are the two groups who are disappointed. This, this idea that the average American is really disappointed because Donald Trump bombed Iran. According to every single poll available, people who are not just Republicans, but who would consider themselves maga, part of Trump's populist movement, are thrilled with the Trump administration. Thrilled with the Trump administration so far. Now there are some people that are not particularly thrilled about, like Pam Bondi botching a couple of things here and there. But overall, when you look at right now, that now James Comer is finally subpoenaing Bill, Hillary Clinton, Merrick Garland, several other members of the Obama administration, the Biden administration for things, including Epstein. It, it's moving forward in a way that really can't be denied. Radio crew, we're going to catch you guys on the flip side. We'll see you real soon. It's the Tony Kinit cast here on the Daily Signal, nationally syndicated, first on 93 WIBC. Okay, over on the live stream side of things, again, sorry about the, the weird lag. We'll look into this issue. There are a couple of others like this Jake Shields guy and then of course Nick Fuentes, who's an idiot who suggest that Islam is like a really good and wonderful thing. And then MAGA doesn't represent America and it needs to be destroyed. And oh, maga's dead. Good written. All this nonsense, the idea that you're, you think you're going to be able to walk around suddenly convinced that because a bunch of bots with Pakistani IP addresses have told you that America's very, very deeply upset with the Trump administration. And so, ah, presto, this is it. This is the end of Donald Trump. No, no, Trump is the same guy that he always has been, the same dude. Here was Trump on the White House today, chilling up on the roof of the White House. People are like, dude, what are you doing? He's like, I'm looking for more ways to donate my money to build cool stuff here at the White House. On the roof of the White House. He's taking questions, or he was just a few moments ago.
Producer Nick
Let's listen in, please.
Tony Kennett
Looking good, Peter.
What does that mean?
What do you think?
More ways to spend my money.
More ways to spend my money, he says. Cuz again, we had reported earlier, I think last week that the Trump administration was planning on building a grand ballroom to the White House. And I said, look, if my tax dollars have to go towards something, I'm not terribly opposed to my tax dollars going to something like that. And then our wonderful audience pointed out that apparently the Trump administration is really in large part funding this, either through donations or through like his own kind of stuff. What's that?
Producer Nick
All of it.
Tony Kennett
All of it through donations and from his own private funds. It's just, it's just good stuff.
Producer Nick
There's also suggestions that he plans on any further renovations to be funded by him.
Tony Kennett
Yeah. And so all of those things aside, just to point out with the individuals here in, you know, who are on the Republican side of the aisle, the MAGA side of the aisle, those who would had voted for Trump in the last election, according to the polls, there's more momentum right now for the Republican Party than there has been in a very long time. You actually see more establishment members of the Republican Party in the House and in the Senate willing to work with the more populist, feisty members of the House and the Senate, which is very, very unusual. That's really, really unusual. That is a coalition building movements traditionally do really well in the midterms. Who doesn't do really well in the midterms? Those who are out of step and are clinging to events in the past. By the way, this is one of the reasons why administrations typically lose so many in the midterms after first election. The reason it's seen as such a check against the administration, that first referendum is because the administration, during the campaign phase, made a bunch of promises, all of the promises, and said, we're gonna do this, we're gonna do this. It's gonna be golden skies and rainbows and an eternal tax holiday. And you, you're gonna have all of these kids and it's gonna be wonderful. Those skies are gonna open up, bald eagles are gonna carry in the American flag. F15s are gonna fly over the NASCAR where it's gonna be amazing. And then you get into the campaign and something or you get into the governance of the first administration and some things happen and, well, some things don't. For events foreseen and not foreseen because campaigns over promise and underdeliver. That's the American political campaign in a nutshell. So then when you get to the midterm election, Americans go, wait a minute, where's my golden pony? You promised I would have a golden pony named Sunshine in the driveway. Where is it now? The Trump administration has actually been bringing forward a lot of momentum at a time when the Democrat Party is the crew that has promised things and hasn't delivered one of them Again. How many times have you been told you were going to die and that we were gonna be under eternal martial law from hell? And like, we're just sitting around here at the beginning of August, and it's pretty good so far. Producer Nick, did you have something?
Producer Nick
I think one of the largest issues heading into the midterm for the Trump administration is properly evaluating the huge successes without undervaluing the mass of successes. We have such a quantity and quality of successes. Having those presented once again in such a short amount of time really makes it difficult to just show how awesome it's been.
Tony Kennett
I've said this before, and again, it's a shame because I wanted to talk about this during the interview with Steven Kent. We didn't really get an opportunity to because OBS decided to fall apart. Thank God it's currently lasting as long as it has here into a little bit of Bonus tonus. But in this particular instance regarding the Trump administration, there is a real reason to be grateful for a number of things. A real reason to be grateful. And I'm not saying like, great, you need to be grateful to President Trump. You need to be grateful to Republicans. No, I am in fact grateful that an entire decade where I was told that everything was the fault of white Christian nationalists who were mean and sexist and homophobic, and they were stealing from the poor people and the brown people. And as Joe Biden just said overtly, you have rich, you have white kids and poor kids. You know, you had that entire ethic that became the mainstay of the United States. And it was depressing. And it was like this post Vietnam era all over again. Remember after the Vietnam War, the entire country was depressed because America had been humbled and humiliated in the Vietnamese War, partly through the binding of its own hands, instead of prosecuting the war to the fullest, playing by all these super special rules that would forecast how the US Would go on to fight the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. And so after the disasters of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, America's pride took a back seat so that all of the lesbian baristas and racial supremacists could get up in front of you and tell you how you were the cause of all of the world's ills and problems, as Rush Limbaugh articulated better than anybody, rest his soul. And so now here we are on the other side of it, and you're starting to see a hopeful optimism yet again. And it's one of the reasons why the Democrats, who are, again, they don't have any other track, they don't have any bright future to proclaim. And so when you have people like Tucker Carlson or Candace Owens or whoever they are going, you know, I, I think the Zoran mom dummy guy, at least, you know, at least he's not taking money from Israel. He's backing up New Yorkers, and they're endorsing actual freaking jihadi socialists in New York City who have called for seizing the means of production. When you're siding with Elizabeth Warren on issues. Freaking. Really? That's where you suggest Magus should go? Absolutely not. Guess which finger I'm holding up to that idea. Instead, I'm going to embrace the optimism and suggest that maybe it's time to take off the aluminum foil, touch some grass, and enjoy America. In fact, take a trip to the Gulf of America, for crying out loud.
Producer Nick
Partly, I think why the Democrats are suffering so much is they're Faltering on the inverse. They relied so much on the tension of the future. You had global climate change destroying everything that you love and hold dear. You had forever wars fueled by a military industrial complex that never happened. You had all these things that never came to fruition. Race wars that just never boiled over, that they continually promised were on the horizon. You had just so many of these looming threats. The pandemic really, when it did not kill every single one you knew. You just didn't have those greater looming threats that only the government could protect you from. It just continually became lies and got pushed back further and further.
Tony Kennett
And this is one of the reasons why in this hyper insane news cycle which we've had for the first, you know, seven, you know, six, seven months of the Trump administration here, where every night there's just breaking news upon breaking news and we're like rushing to get it all before the show. There's all of this stuff to get done. We have to get it out asap. All this, that and the other. When you have an instance where there's not a ton that has occurred this week, I mean, yeah, there's a lot of stuff that's occurred, built on other stories this week, but it has been a slower couple of news days that more fits the traditional news cycle. Something that I noticed that was strange is that Sydney Sweeney has been in the news for like seven days at this point. That's nuts for today's news cycle in the day where depending on the color of the guy committing the mass crime, it's out of the news in a half an hour. For Sydney Sweeney to be on the news for seven days or the dude who looks like he's from One Direction or that, that show or whatever, that was the. In the Dunkin Donuts commercial for you. Right, right, right. Or the indie fever gal, I guess. Sophie Cunningham, I remembered her name. Can't believe it. For the Arby's commercial. I mean, the reason that people are so excited about this is not because they're, you know, oh well, Sidney Sweeney's hot. You know, it's a return to kind of the pin up model ad time, of course, but it's, it's to be back to once again call something gay and not have to worry about being debanked to once again enjoy. Not having the FBI go after you because you say that men aren't women at a school board meeting is fantastic. And there are individuals right now who are suggesting that because some congressperson took a thousand dollar donation from aipac. Ooh, this means they're part of the corrupt deep state. Put the phone down. Put the computer down. Go outside. Grass. Touch it. Touch it. We got a question in this evening. I'll do like one question, a mail time. We'll call it a night. Here from Patriot Pizza Man's music Review. When will we force AIPAC to end its lobbying our elected officials to influence our politicians to fight their wars? Okay, first of all, I'm gonna break it to you here. APAC's in American economy. Company run by American Jews. Sorry, Womp, I don't know what to tell you. The idea that you think that Israel is solely buying out America. I do know, in fact, organizations throughout time who have spent way more. The teachers union. Dwarfs. Dwarfs what AIPAC spends on Americans. For the record, and by the way, regardless of whether or not I do or do not, I think that, yes, you should be an American before you support Israel. You should be an American before you support Somalia or the UK or anywhere else. Don't care. Pick a country. Don't care. You should be an American first. But if. If you believe that we should sell weapons to the Israelis. All right, fine. Is that. Oh, you're selling out American values, bro. No, no. It. No. If. If you are down that bad that you truly believe that, well, they all have the name Steen. Ooh, I got them. You just, dude, touch the grass. Take a deep breath. Not seeing it. And by the way, in case you say, well, I'm right, I know I'm right here. Okay, let's do a game that the Midwesterners like to call scoreboard. Over your last big global predictions that we were all going to go to war for Israel this time in the last eight months, how many of those have been true? I've been counting. Zero. Remember World War iii we were supposed to go into. Remember when that didn't happen? Remember when, oh, the JFK files weren't going to be released because it was going to show Israel did it. Then that didn't happen. Remember how. Oh, man, we were going to find this, all of this definitive proof that it was the Jews all along. No. And the Speaker Johnson complaints this week also? No. The dude's a Baptist. He's an evangelical. Guys, if you didn't know that evangelicals are, like, pro Israel, mainly because they also like going to Israel to see, like, the sights of Christ. Ask an old lady in any Baptist church, the one place on earth she'd like to visit. It's Israel. But it's not the Wailing Wall, you know, Gertrude Martha Bermuda Beulah at your local Baptist church, the First Nezameh the Baptist second non denominational Lutheran to the Nazarene is not excited to go to Israel so she can kiss Netanyahu's shoes. They want to see the Garden of Gethsemane. They want to see the Dead Sea. They want to see a lot of really cool stuff. And if eschatology eschatologically, you know you're reading a couple of half poorly written awful theology pretending to be Catholic posts suggesting that actually it's the synagogue of Satan. Honey, sweetie, baby, some of us actually have read scripture end to end, not to mention good amount of Hebrew, Aramaic and Koine. No, no, sorry. And those who try to claim that everything is a Jewish conspiracy and wreck what is pretty honestly a pretty great time for Americans at whole right now, despite the things we are continuing to work on to solve. As I've told you before, the Epstein stuff's not over. Am I satisfied where it is? No. Do I think Bondi did a phenomenal job rolling it out? No. But is everything a distraction? No, it's not. There's other stuff going on and I want to see more things. We will see more things. I think there should be a high level of scrutiny and we should call for more transparency. But the idea that your distrust automatically makes something true or my trust automatically makes something true. Nope. That's why this little rant is in bonus tonus. It's just some analysis based on recent events. Those things said we're going to be back tomorrow. Same great time, same great place. Hopefully we'll have all of the software issues and hardware issues figured out. Just in case. We will make sure to have the Stephen Kent what you watching Interview uploaded over on YouTube and then on the podcast as a special Take care. It's the Tony Kennett cast here on the Daily Signal, nationally syndicated, first on 93 WIBC. See you soon.
