Tony Kennett. Tony Kennett. Tony Kennett. Tony Kennett, host of the Tony Kennett cast. Let's get down to business. You're listening to the Tony Kennett cast on 93 WIBC on CYTV, here on the Daily Signal. Good evening and welcome to the Tony Kenned cast here on the Daily Signal, nationally syndicated, first on 93, now with twice the taste and half of the fattening calories. It's a really good day for the United States whenever you have President Trump doing one of his routines in front of the American people because he's got yet another very big wealthy dude who just a couple of years ago was all in on the equity and the, you know, diversity and the inclusion. And now Trump's up there promoting reinvestment into China, India. No, here in the good old United States. The Trump administration announced at the in the 5pm hour that Apple Corporation would be investing over $100 billion into just one new screen production facility in Kentucky. All iPhone screens and all Apple watch screens are apparently going to start churning out of this facility. And here's the president's announcement.
Donald Trump
Today, Apple is announcing that it will invest $600 billion, that's with a B in the United States over the next four years. That's $100 billion more than they were originally going to invest. And this is the largest investment Apple has ever made in America and anywhere else. And it's just an honor to have you. As you know, Apple's been an investor in other countries a little bit. I won't say which ones, but a couple. And they're coming, they're coming home. $600 billion. That's the biggest there is.
Rebecca Downs
Now, I will right off the top of the bat here, some of the criticisms are, well, here you go. Apple iPhones are going to be really freaking expensive. Way to go, Trump. Two things. First of all, I'm sorry, I just don't feel bad that it's not going to be made by slave labor anymore. Womp, freaking womp. The fact that the, and I have seen the photos and not doctored AI photos. I have seen the photos that were released by State Department investigations and United States intelligence in China where Apple factories had to have bars welded onto the windows so that people wouldn't break in. No. So that people would not jump out of them and commit suicide because of the slave labor conditions. No. If the Apple iPhones are going to be made, they're going to be made here. And may I just lightly grant you a little bit of peace of mind here. You're not going to see a skyrocketing of price. In fact, you might even see the prices go down a little bit. Because as you may know, our vice president, who is not only likely the best looking vice president that we've had in a very long time, you know, no bias intended here, but he is also a tech bro. He is very into automation, which for a populist is a little bit unusual, a little unique. But I do believe that what we are already seeing, based on the Apple advertisement or kind of the Apple clip that they released already shows a level of automation in crafting these Apple screens that we haven't really seen before in the tech sector at all. Check it out. So for those listening, it says Apple increases its commitment in the US by 600 billion. The expanded commitment includes a new manufacturing program. Now stop. Oh, good. I actually got the frame right where I wanted to stop it. So what you are seeing right here is a glass tempering system that is fully automated. I believe that as far as the tech sector and smartphones are concerned, this may be the first time that that process has been fully automated. Now, obviously you could see earlier there's still individuals that are running down the aisles of the glass stack checking for cracks. The only reason that you would be doing so is if the entire process up until that point is fully automated. We are reaching new levels of manufacturing prowess that we've never even come close to before. And the tariff was a massive leverage in that entire thing. I'm actually going to cut away from that commercial. There is a little bit of goofiness here that I do enjoy out of these. So Trump. And again, a little bit uncharacteristic, but the man does have a lot going on. He points to Tim Cook and says, all right, you maybe want to start showing us the product? And Tim Cook immediately starts trying to put together this little, like, plaque trophy thing that Apple, I guess the first piece of glass that they turned out of what will be this facility. It's not quite clear. It's a production of one. And then Trump has done that. They did this with FIFA and the World Cup. They're going to do this now. Every person who comes to Trump, like, brings a little Lego trophy assembly kit and has to build it in front of the President. It's really funny.
Donald Trump
Mike, show them a little bit about the product that you're going to be doing in Kentucky.
Rebecca Downs
Tim. So, Tim, for those who are listening and not watching, Tim's got a white Apple box. We all know the one. Usually they come with an iPhone or disappointment or a MacBook inside. And that's what people are expecting. That's what I was expecting. I was actually sitting on the newsmax hold line waiting and watching along with Carl Higby and a few others. Like, what is he going to pull out of this box? It's not the product. You got to do a little grandstanding and a little bit of foot kissing. Would you mind if I step up?
Donald Trump
Yes, please.
Rebecca Downs
This box was made in the US and then it's going to get really staticky because no one can hear him. So he brought a glass circle that is to President Trump, and then a 24 karat gold base. Now, I'm just going to be honest with you here right up front. Check that gold base for bugs. I will remind you that the Soviet Embassy, or excuse me, the Soviet Union, hid a very, very clever bug inside a gift seal to the United States, to the US Embassy in Moscow that went undetected for years. I'm just saying, given the Apple corporations prior to shenanigans, I'd have that thing scanned. But, you know, aside from that, they actually did get to some pretty important topics here. So first of all, they are expanding their mining and recycling operations in California. You know, the same California where you're not allowed to touch the environment, lest the Saskatchewanese mosquito isn't allowed to breed uncontrollably anymore. And so they're essentially launching new rare earth minerals mining, refining and recycling operations. Huge. To counter China in this, a new birth of semiconductor facilities and operations in Texas, Utah, Arizona and New York. And then Trump just starts listing all of these companies that have invested hundreds of billions of dollars each into the United States. Nvidia, Micron, Softbank, IBM, tsmc, Intel, Johnson and Johnson, Merck, Stellantis, gm, Rocher, Hyundai, Honda. Hundreds of billions of dollars for, for each of these. Now, near the end, I think that Hyundai's only investing like 75 billion. You know, that's real lame compared to the hundreds of billions of dollars. This is the big thing, though, because this comes up against the tariff window. Trump says if you are building here in the United States or you have essentially filed some kind of a commitment, you filed the permits to build manufacturing in the United States, your company's products will be completely, unilaterally exempt from tariffs. I'm sorry, I've heard nobody else talking about this yet. That is a very, very big deal. So if you are gm, you say, well, but you know, GM or Toyota or Hyundai, they're, they're making their products outside of the U.S. trump has said if you are building more here, and it is in the tech sector, which, you know, auto manufacturers at this point are essentially part of the tech sector, then you're going to be able to be exempt from tariffs because you are moving your business into the United States. So Americans aren't suffering the cost in the meantime. And you're seeing the revitalization of the modern manufacturing industry, like these facilities in Kentucky that are being built. So also, just a side note for this, Trump says that if you do say you're going to commit to building something here and then you get the complete exemption from all tariffs and then you back out of it. The Trump, essentially, Trump's going to force them to sign an agreement so they'll be responsible for back taxes or, or back payments, which is incredible. I mean, sorry, that's just classic good negotiation. So let's move forward here because the S and P returns are just un freaking believable right now. My goodness. Check it out.
Tony Kennett
Here's a look at earnings expectations. What a chart this is. It's been a very strong quarter despite tariff uncertainty, with 82% of S&P 500 companies beating estimates so far. That's the highest rate since 2021.
Rebecca Downs
The S& P is supposed to be the large foreign operational market companies that do a lot of business, including, by the way, a boatload, no pun intended, of importing and exporting from this country. They're seeing a ton of earnings. Why? Because Trump was always going to use the tariffs as a strong arm. He was always going to use the tariffs to undercut the slave labor conditions, whether they're in China or, or India, whether they're funding the Russian war machine or the Iranian war machine or whatever. War machine, corrupt machine. You want to talk about Brazil, for example, with Da Silva, I think the socialist that is now put Bolsonaro under house arrest by order of the courts. So the Trump administration is using tariffs properly. And there were a lot of individuals on my side of the political aisle, the more traditional conservatives, who said, no, he's going to just use tariffs because he wants to forever. And they could not imagine that Trump might back down from an original position and use them in a way that ends up getting him exactly what he wants. Radio crew, we got to send you back to the commercial. You'll be back in a second. We're going to continue on the live stream. It's the Tony Kenned cast here on the Daily Signal. President Trump also talked about federalizing Washington, D.C. just a little bit more because, again, the crime is rampant there. It's our nation's capital. It was constitutionally set up to be a federal district controlled by Congress. And then we decided to give it to a Democrat mayor. Some incredibly stupid decisions there. Trump might be just about at his limit regarding this. Here was the question and answer. Are you considering taking over the D.C. police?
Tony Kennett
Is that an option on the table?
Donald Trump
We're considering it, yeah, because the crime is, is ridiculous. I could show you A chart comparing D.C. to other locations and you're not going to want to see what it looks like. It was just up on television, actually. They were showing it. Now, we want to have a great, safe capital and we're going to have it. And that includes cleanliness and it includes other things. We have a capital that's very unsafe. You know, we just almost lost a young man, beautiful, handsome guy that got the hell knocked out of him the night before last. And I'm going to call him now. We wanted to give him a little recovery time. We just put a call into him. They're calling back a little while. But he went through a bad situation, to put it mildly.
Rebecca Downs
So the president goes on to articulate that he is open to talking about the. Again, the president is open to discussing possibly sending in the National Guard. Now, there was a question last night because I mentioned the Virginian and Maryland National Guard, and it was pointed out to me that Washington, D.C. also has a National Guard. Yes, I am aware of this and the 74th troop command inside of it, for that matter. But in history, it is far easier to send in the Virginian National Guard, who fields a more active series of units who are used to crowd control and things of that nature than the national guard units in D.C. are. And again, it is far easier as well. And I also can confirm this with a good friend of mine from the Navy, that when it comes to sending in either the National Guard or if you have the authority in the territory to do so, active army or Marine units, it is easier for the Department of Defense and the Commander in Chief to send in some active units rather than just mobilizing and sending in the Guard, that takes a couple of minutes usually. So I just thought I'd. I'd mention that as well. I do want to point out how incredible it is that right now the only response I have seen from the left to re federalizing DC Is to not talk about it. Remember when Trump talked about Los Angeles, when Trump was talking about sending in the National Guard. What did you hear? You oh, it's going to be martial law and everything's going to fall apart and it's going to be terrible and horrible and evil. And the media outlets from the legacy media side who we'll be talking about in a little bit like the Associated Press, the USA Today, cnn, msnbc, New York Times ad nauseum. They can't even use current stock footage of places like Union Station because they are disgusting and they're far better now than they were when Biden was in office. I just got back from Washington, D.C. it is a terribly, terribly unsafe place and that should not be the case for a federal territory. So Mayor Muriel Bowser thinking that she can just do whatever it is that she wants with the town and that they somehow deserve statehood, of all things, which is extremely unconstitutional. That is not going to fly with the American people. It's just not. And this brings us over to really how the Democrats are reacting in a larger part to all of the media sphere and the momentum of the Trump administration right now. The answer is they are either punching themselves in the face or they are punching each other in the face again. For the longest time, the classic understanding in the American political realm was that Republicans were usually punching each other in the face and it was Democrats who were in lockstep from the very top to the very bottom. They all had the same tune. The legacy media did the exact same thing. Now every single network is talking about other things. Kamala Harris and Joe Biden are at each other's throats, which is incredible because I didn't even think that Joe Biden could lift a knife. So we've got a lot to talk about there, I believe. Rebecca Downs is on the line in Indianapolis with wibc. We're going to bring her on. She's got a couple of details about that. Don't go anywhere. It's the Tony Kindetcast here on the Daily Signal. An official message from Medicare.
Tony Kennett
I'm saving money on my Medicare prescriptions. Maybe you can save too.
Rebecca Downs
With Medicare's extra help program, my premium is 0 and my out of pocket costs are low. Who should apply? Single people making less than $24,000 a year or or married couples who make less than $32,000. Even if you don't think you qualify, it pays. To find out, go to ssa.gov extrahelp paid for by the US Department of Health and Human Services. It's the Tony Kenneth cast on 93 WYB. I figured you'd like the Little, little Cops remix theme in there. We've got a great friend of ours and friend of the show over on the line now with the Daily Signal. Rebecca Downs, normally our Ohio correspondent, but she hears things when she's following Vance around or the rest of the incredibly busy Ohio politic. Rebecca, how's it going?
Tony Kennett
It's going well. I'm always listening out for all kinds of news.
Rebecca Downs
And this one, when we texted about this earlier this afternoon, I really couldn't believe some of the details. According to Mark Halperin, excuse me, the Biden camp is ready to drop dirt on Kamala Harris if she comes after him in the new book. And this is really wild for a couple of reasons. So I have, I have one tidbit and then I know that you've got a lot more here on kind of the things that the Biden camp is expecting out of this. Kamala Harris has not released any kind of a pre done draft yet. That's so, so unusual right now at this stage of the book writing phase, 107 days. She should have had the draft done and kind of out to various journalists, book reviewers, those who are going to be writing the foreword like a month and a half ago. Radio silence.
Tony Kennett
It's only a month and a half away. It's only a month and a half away.
Rebecca Downs
So tell us, what are some of the reasons the Biden administration is losing their marbles when they don't even have a draft in front of them?
Tony Kennett
So, yeah, it reminds me of when they have movies that they don't pre screen for critics because they know the reviews are going to be bad. So that's immediately what I thought of. Yet nothing surprises me about Kamala Harris because she has been so incompetent, so just daft, like she's not a young woman. She's been doing this for a few years. She should have been able to get her act together if she was going to get her act together.
Rebecca Downs
Now that's the, that's the catch though, right? That the Biden team was there when Kamala Harris didn't have her act together as a senator from California, as attorney general from California, as the vice president playing solitaire. What are some of the things that the Biden administration, you know, just again, from the stuff you've been looking into this afternoon, what are some of the things the Biden administration might try to throw out as mud on Kamala Harris if she goes after Biden here?
Tony Kennett
So I want to be clear that because we don't have a draft, we don't have a version that critics or journalists can read beforehand. This is just speculation. But when you drive people to do that, we're going to speculate. So I think it could go as far back as the debates. Right. So the debates were in 2019 because Kamala Harris had to drop out before it was even 2020. But she called Joe Biden or at least insinuated that he was a racist.
Rebecca Downs
Oh, those debates.
Tony Kennett
Yeah.
Rebecca Downs
Oh, those. Oh, the Harris and Biden debate. I thought you were talking about the Trump and Biden debates. Oh, that's a long time back for information.
Tony Kennett
I think this is going to go back. I think this is going to go far back because not just because those viral moments, but because that's really how former first lady Jill Biden really does not like Kamala Harris. And honestly, say what you will about Joe Biden, could you blame her for the stuff she's saying about her husband and Jill Biden? Joe Biden was her ticket to the White House. Joe Biden could have been president for all we know.
Rebecca Downs
I really do enjoy the idea that Joe Biden was sitting there with a notebook writing down all of the things that Kamala Harris was doing, waiting for this moment. I do say that with the, the information that is starting to come out about Obamagate, Russiagate, and we have some more on that later in the show, Kamala Harris really has the opportunity here to try to escape any of the Biden cover up investigation which is proceeding forward. People realize there's like five investigations right now simultaneously at the DOJ. It is a, the average temperature in the DOJ right now is like 82, way too hot for me. So in this case here, you think Kamala might try to throw out some Russiagate information in order to try to escape Biden mental health collapse cover up.
Tony Kennett
She could, I think, I think anything could happen. I think we could see absolutely anything. Biden was he more with it at that time, especially since he was Barack Obama's vice president. He could have been. He could have been. He was the one who went up against Trump in 2020. He only ran for as long as he did in 2024 because he told everyone I'm the only one who beat Trump. I'm going to beat him again. So that brings up an excellent point because he may, he may have had a hand in that. I will be very interested to know. I just put this speaks to me is not just immaturity, which it does, but Democrats in disarray. I have to love that topic because it's Good clickbait. It's good fodder. But this is a major political party we're talking about, or what should be a major political party in a two party system. But they cannot get their act together. So I almost just have to laugh, laugh at it and be also thankful for the good clicks and the good fodder it gives you and me and folks like us.
Rebecca Downs
Well, there's no, you know, there's definitely no doubt in that. Rebecca Downs with the Daily Signal over in Ohio. We'll be keeping an eye on things. I know you're going to be watching the fallout because it's going to hit Ohio and some of the other election heavy states in the midterms.
Tony Kennett
Thank you, Tony.
Rebecca Downs
All right, there is a little bit more on the Hunter Biden approach to all of this because, uh, while the Kamala Harris Joe Biden fight is ramping up and people in D.C. are apparently hiring lawyers as quick as they can, either for Russiagate or for the Epstein situation, all of the James Comer subpoenas in that fun basket of hoots, and then you've got the Biden mental collapse cover up investigation. Man, it's a good time. There are two times that it's really great to be part of a profession. It is amazing to be a lawyer in Washington D.C. and it is phenomenal to be a therapist in a town that university just cut its DEI program. Either one of those two heavy money making jobs. Hunter Biden has decided that amidst this entire thing, he's going to go all in by saying Donald Trump is really shady with Jeffrey Epstein to come from the man whose entire life was peddling influence from his father's office to Ukraine while simultaneously enjoying the finest and lowest of cocaine and whores that European, that Europe could provide that, that Hunter Biden is now while he's doing some type of awkward mural painting on a wall that probably no one asked him to paint because again, you know, Hunter Biden's painting career, oh, very, very important and impressive. He's going to suggest that actually Trump owed Epstein because Epstein introduced him to Melania. Here you go. Epstein introduced Melania to Trump. The connections are like so wide and deep. Anyway, why do we think they don't want the files released? I don't know. I think you know that, that, that thing that John Homling said. I love how the, the music is all mystical. And then again, for those who are listening, you're not actually watching. I want you to imagine a, a high school, like a high schooler with a bunch of Sharpies and how they doodle on their notes. And that is what master world painter Hunter Biden has crafted for us on a beautiful mural. Sorry, aside from I just wanted to paint you a word picture. While Hunter Biden paints a masterpiece that would be amazing on any bus stop outside of an elementary school, like a long time ago, I think is the most accurate kind of assessment of them, which is everything is projection or confession, everything. So when he puts out that tweet and he says Epstein now is the Russia hoax or the Hunter Biden laptop, the laptop from hell, which the Democrats swore came from Russia. No, I love it. So now he's trying to suggest that the reason that anyone cared about his laptop was actually because it was a cover up for Epstein. Amazing. Thank you so much for this. Please do lots more of it. Please do so much more of this over the next couple of years. Because the Democrats who are gonna try to latch onto this are so completely off topic. Have they not learned anything from the recent polls? Well, of course not. Hunter Biden's not watching polls. He's sniffing the paint in his own house when he can't get the, you know, whiter, cleaner powder. So in this particular case, I do want to fact check one particular thing. The only clear allegation he made was that Jeffrey Epstein introduced Melania to Trump. That is definitively not true. Melania has talked extensively, not only in her own book, but also we have prior records that show that while Melania and Trump did at one point spend time with Jeffrey Epstein at parties and things that, no, Epstein did not introduce Melania to Donald. It's such a. It's like how a child describes some kind of a grand theory about why there aren't cookies in the cookie jar. It's awkward and hilarious. Radio crew will catch you in just a second. We were going to continue on the live stream with some other Democrat shenanigans. It's the Tony Kinnit cast. Meanwhile, another group of Democrats. You've got Elizabeth Warren. She's yelling about Zoran Momdani and whatever we've talked about her. Cory Booker is clearly still constipated, yelling on the Senate floor, and his eyes are bugging out at some point. Get the man some Miralax. Chuck Schumer is like, grinning very weirdly into the. Into the camera at times, which, given how his party's currently doing, is a move for sure. Alyssa Slotkin, you say? Who in the heck is this? Alissa Slotkin is the Democrat senator from Michigan who they trotted out after Donald Trump did his State of the Union style speech and I had never seen her before. As a reminder, I am in Indiana and the Midwest is kind of my thing. So to not know the young, fresh faced senator from Michigan, except when she stood in front of the country and then awkwardly flubbed through her response. She's been trying to claw her way back ever since because she might be on the bench of possible hopefuls for a presidential run, which is very special. See, she's decided now that the move to take is saying that the Democrats have played by the rules for so long. And so if Texas is going to gerrymander, it's time to go nuclear.
Tony Kennett
I'm going to urge and encourage blue states like California or Chicago or Illinois, excuse me, to do the same thing. I don't want to do that. I want the country to have a completely nonpartisan drawing of the lines based on the census. But if they're going to do that and go nuclear, so am I.
Rebecca Downs
Do you know how patently insane it is as a political strategy to get in front of the country after your party has definitive, definitive examples of gerrymandering that the entire country looks to as corruption? I remind you for the 8 millionth time that Illinois is the beacon of corruption for the Democrats. And the Democrats strategy right now amid this fight is not to keep all of the focus on Texas. They are sitting out there and going fine, well, if they're going to do things we think are corrupt, we're going to ratchet up the corruption in our own states. Oh my God, Chan lebang, I cannot believe that is the strategy that you were going with. And they're losing it. They are screaming everywhere from the tops of trees and buildings. Ayanna Pressley, one of the members of the squad, tweeted out. What Republicans are doing in Texas is a cowardly, undemocratic power grab meant to silence voters. They know their policies are deeply unpopular, so they want to rig the next election. Solidarity with Texas Democrats using every tool to fight back. Ayanna Pressley's congressional district in Massachusetts is currently in the top five most gerrymander rated districts in the country. Massachusetts is at the very top of gerrymandered states in the list. Not only does Massachusetts not have one Republican House district, despite the number of people in Massachusetts in pockets who do vote Republican in regions that could be considered part of a congressional map, but all of the districts surrounding Massachusetts in other states are also solidly blue. Ayanna's going to get out here and lecture us about gerrymandering Incredible. They did this with school choice by the way as well. What the Democrats are really angry about right now, what they have lost their ever loving minds over is that Republicans are now playing by their rules. So you have Missouri, you have Texas, I sure hope to God Indiana decides to do a little bit of redistricting as well. Republicans are saying, okay Democrats, you're going to redistrict. You're going to have all of these independent commissions that produce California and New York and Massachusetts and Connecticut and Illinois and on and on and on. Then fine, we're going to play by those rules. What's good for the goose is good for the gander. And Democrats are freaking out because what do they have at that point? Nothing. Nothing. This was the same with school board elections. When Republicans said we want people to declare a party who are running for school boards, they said no. Then all the candidates are going to have to say they're Democrats instead of nonpartisan. And it's only going to get worse from there. We got to swing back and catch the commercials because Chris Murphy and J.B. pritzker are talking. It's special. It's the Tony Kennett cast. Good evening everybody. This is the Tony Kennett cast on 93 WYBC. The gerrymandering whining continues and it's not just the pearl clutching of how could the Republicans do what we've done for years now. You've got even the most egregious actors being called out on national TV for it. Of all people, Stephen Colbert, who we're gonna get to in a second cuz Trump had some words about Colbert. Colbert had on JB Pritzker. They had to build a brand new doorway in the studio for him. It was, it took three men with like lever stilts to push him onto the stage because of his incredible obesity. And JB Pritzker ended up getting slapped for gerrymandering by Stephen Colbert, which is again amazing. I'm one of the first times in history that Colbert has actually called a Democrat on the carpet for something. Check it out, districts in Illinois. Take a look at this, look at, look at 17 here. It does that. Then it comes up here and it sneaks around there and goes all the way up here and then goes right over there like that. And look at, look at, look at this one kind of goes whoop up there. It's like the stinger on a scorpion down here. Is this common for all states to do? Well, we handed it over to a kindergarten class and let them decide okay, that's the. Not. That's the non partisan group that does this.
Donald Trump
Absolutely.
Rebecca Downs
That's our independent commission. You know, that's what he's gonna go with. We handed it over to a kindergarten class who drew it. First of all, what an insult to the people of Illinois and to this quote, unquote, independent commission. Oh, that's what they came up with. There was never any kind of like better option here. So we actually found the better option. You know, you're welcome. More than happy to provide the actual proper. So this, of course, if you can see on the screen, this is the current Illinois map here in 1970, it looked like this. So for those who are listening and not watching, it looks like a basic standard Midwestern state map. Near Chicago, you see some smaller districts because it's a bigger city. And then near St. Louis, down in the southwest, you have a smaller district where there is a larger population and the rest of the state is just divided regionally. That's it. So we have the current map, which looks like again, Eastern Europe mixed with a bowl of spaghetti or I guess as J.B. pritzker thinks, Bischetti, since children did it. And then in 1970, you had a normal congressional map. Gee whiz. So again, Pritzker's answer here to Stephen Colbert is to say, well, the children did it.
Donald Trump
That is.
Rebecca Downs
Yeah. I mean, look, so because all states to a certain extent do this. Hmm. Why is what Texas doing particular egregious in this case? Well, here, every 10 years, we do a census in this country. And right after the census, we redraw districts in every state. But what they're. Sorry, that. That's not necessarily true. Not all states wait for the census redistricting to then draw up their congressional maps. That's kind of the standard. But that's not the case for every state and commonwealth. That's just not true. Republicans are trying to do. And the Texas Republicans, frankly, at the behest of Donald Trump, are doing it mid decade. That is extraordinarily rare. That's an important point because he. I think he literally called them or wrote them and said, hey, I need five seats. He did not, by the way. That would be the Department of Justice who said, hey, you have some districts here that seem to be based on a skin color. That ain't allowed. You can't do that. Kind of violates this thing called civil rights law. And so the Supreme Court of the United States, who's getting antsy, they have the power to overrule state election maps. So you do it now. And so Texas is doing so now. Is there a partisan angle to this? Absolutely. But did you notice Pritzker's diversion there? It's not. Well, you know, sure, all states do it, but the problem is that Texas is doing it now instead of when we decide it's the time to cheat. Hmm, very interesting indeed. Given that the census overcounted blue states and undercounted red states and that after investigations have borne that out, there are calls, by the way, states are allowed to draw their congressional maps based on the state census. We've talked about this before. Real quick here. I do want to point out Chris Murphy from Connecticut again, my new least favorite state in the union. Chris Murphy also had to get out here and, you know, shake his knowledge in front of us all. I want to talk to you for a second about what Texas is doing, trying to redraw congressional boundaries. Normally states only redraw these boundaries every 10 years. Texas is doing it right now because they want to get an edge in the upcoming congressional elections. What we know about how to protect a democracy is that when the regime that's trying to convert a country to authoritarianism is operating outside of the box, is ignoring the norms and the pro democracy opposition is staying inside the box and observing all the norms, that's how democracy dies. You mean like how again, all of those states, again right now, Indiana, the state of Indiana that I am in, our Republican legislature has currently turned down the decision we have, we have turned down the opportunity to redistrict in order to cut, for example, Andre Carson, who is an idiot and a disgusting human being whom if he was stranded on the side of the road, I would gladly beep as I drove by. That is the level of character this individual has, how he has treated gold star families specifically, instead of doing anything like that, as again states are want to do, we are in a politically divisive time. As funnily enough, as Julian Smith, famous YouTube kind of content creator from my teen years told me, we're talking about marketing strategy. He said, tony, when you play Monopoly, do you play nice or do you play to win the game? And in this particular instance, given that the Democrats are endorsing Zoran Mamdani, an actual jihadi communist who endorses racial violence, who endorses discriminatory policies, who has openly said he wants to seize the means of production, state run grocery stores, apply taxes to whiter neighborhoods. That's who the Democrats are going with here. So. So, oh well, I mean, you know, clearly it's the Democrats have been playing inside the box. You know, that's why the FBI raided Melania's underwear drawer. Cuz they're playing inside the box, you see. Mmm, yes, yes, Very, very much so. So as far as the redistricting argument is concerned, by the way, Obama as well, he said we can't lose focus on what matters. Right now. Republicans in Texas are trying to gerrymander district lines to unfairly win five seats in next year's midterm elections. This is a power grab that undermines our democracy. That coming from Obama is freaking bonkers. Especially considering that he himself has quite a shady past with his service to the state of Illinois Senate. Mike Madigan was actually recently sentenced to seven and a half years and $2.5 million for bribery, racketeering, extortion and fraud. And that was the chairman when Obama was in the state Senate. Yeah, exactly. Ooh boy. Again. Barack Obama getting in front of the country and lecturing us on corruption when his time in Illinois politics is anything squeaky clean. People act like Americans don't see this. I will point again to the school board elections in 22 and then again in 24. But alas, I guess this is going to be one of those lessons that individuals have to learn the hard way. I do want to point out real quick because it's just too precious to pass up on the media side of things. The Russia gate that the media are currently trying to do everything that they possibly can to divert attention away from. That investigation is proceeding and it is proceeding with more footage, more documents being released by the day. And it appears that the federal grand jury that is being set up by the Department of Justice is going to be in southern Florida. And we broke this the other day. And this is crucial because If a Washington D.C. jury isn't there to cover for Hillary Clinton and James Comey and Clapper and Brennan, then there are some people who are rather screwed. So the only times you're seeing the media mention this is now to clutch pearls over this being in a federal district that's not a Washington D.C. jury. Check it out. Trust the current DOJ officials to follow the facts here. I do not. And I think what's going to be telling is where they put the grand jury. So a grand jury is typically 23 citizens that are brought together. It's a prosecutorial tool. But if they convene it in D.C. district, they might not get the outcome that they want. What outcome would they get? Christopher o', Leary retired FBI agent who had ethical Complaints filed for his politicization during his time in the FBI. What. What kind of complaints would they get, Chris? Oh, with it. Oh, wait a minute. Are you. Are you suggesting a D.C. jury might not follow the law? Hmm. So it's likely they're going to put it in Florida, which means they're looking for a certain outcome, not where the facts actually drive you. So, again, this. What, again? The coastal elites believe that anyone who is not in Virginia, north to New York City and then not in SoCal or Washington state, they believe that they're just. They're. They're all a bunch of big dumb idiots and that the. Oh, man, if it's in Florida, well, then it's going to be horrible, because the left despises the rest of America. If it's not a bunch of angry lesbian baristas in Washington, D.C. who are every single day, well, then it's not going to be a fair trial. How could they do that? Because we all remember the fair trials of OJ Simpson in Los Angeles. Ridiculous. They think this is going to work. By the way, I do want to remind you, because they're trying to say that they're, like, artificially placing this in Florida. And yes, it is a political strategy. Absolutely. To do so. But this is the funny part. Merrick Garland, the almost Supreme Court justice that Biden gave the pity nomination to for Attorney General, it looks like Merrick Garland is the guy who screwed all of them over. And here's why. Merrick Garland pointed out, during the Biden administration, during the beginning of the 2024 presidential campaign, the FBI raid at Mar A Lago was because of Russiagate. Thanks, Merrick. Here you go.
Donald Trump
There are, however, certain points I want you to know. First, I personally approve the decision to seek a search warrant in this matter. Second, the Department does not take such a decision lightly.
Rebecca Downs
Hmm. So Merrick Garland, who personally approved this series of raids, did so with direct knowledge of Russiagate. And in fact, according to, again, recently released documents, has linked the FBI investigation into Donald Trump's classified document use to Russiagate. What an idiot. Why would you write that stuff down and then get in front of the country and go. I personally was the one who signed off on it. Because given the bias that we are aware of from Merrick from those documents, wildly irresponsible from him, wildly entertaining for US Radio crew. We gotta send you off to commercial and be back in just a minute. It's the Tony Kinnid cast here on the Daily Signal. Now, the media in general doesn't really have the full energy to fight this battle on behalf of the Democrats because they're all just being canceled and not because of CBS leveraging. You should bend down to kiss the ring of Donald Trump. No, the reason that media outlets are in hemorrhage mode is because they have treated the American public like we just saw on msnbc. Oh, man, they want to, they want to have it in Florida cuz, you know, they want a specific political outcome here cuz Florida sucks. They're bitter that Florida's turned red. It is rather hilarious to watch those same outlets now be dumbfounded. Dumbfounded that no one wants to listen to them. Howard Stern, who for years has been one of the worst on Sirius xm. Whining, whining, whining. Oh, those dumb Trump voters. And by the way, I do want to make it clear he did call anyone who voted for Donald Trump inherently ignorant and stupid. Don't agree with Trump politically. I don't. I don't think he should be anywhere near the White House. I don't hate the guy. I hate the people who vote for him. I think you're stupid. I don't think I do. I'll be honest with you. I have no respect for you, man. I can't believe that the rest of the country. There are people who I disagree with, who I listen to. Stephen A. Smith, I catch his show more often than not. He disagrees with me on a lot of political stuff. He is a. For example, he's a race essentialist. I very much don't agree with that. But he doesn't call me stupid and hate me. A lot of people, I'm not necessarily one of them, love Bill Maher for that reason. They don't agree with him, but at least he doesn't say that all Trump voters are evil and stupid, horrible, terrible people. Another one of Howard Stern's classic amazing hits is when he said that he thinks people that don't have his list of vaccinations, including the COVID vaccine, should be allowed in hospitals. Anyone unvaccinated would not be admitted to a hospital at this point. They've been given plenty of opportunity to get the vaccine. They don't trust our government. They think that there's some conspiracy to turn them into a magnet or something like this. Yeah, the Johnson and Johnson vaccine was so safe, man. All of that, you know, cardiac failure, oh man, totally not, you know, shoving things through. Now if you don't get it in my America, all hospitals would be closed to you. You're going to go home and die. I don't understand why he would possibly be losing his show. It's probably political corruption or something. Mmm, amazing. By the way, here is Trump doing a nice victory lap here on Howard Stern and getting the boot.
Donald Trump
I've got an entertainment based question for you.
Rebecca Downs
A few weeks ago, Stephen Colbert announced that he was leaving a show.
Donald Trump
Howard Stern announced that him and Sirius XM Radio are parting ways.
Rebecca Downs
Do you think the hate Trump business.
Donald Trump
Model that's been in the entertainment business.
Rebecca Downs
Is going out of business because it's.
Donald Trump
Not popular with the American people? Well, it hasn't worked. And it hasn't worked really for a long time. And I would say pretty much from the beginning, Colbert has no talent. I mean, I could take anybody here. I could go outside on the beautiful streets and pick a couple of people that do just as well or better they get higher ratings than he did. He's got no talent. Fallon has no talent. Kimmel has no talent. They're next. They're going to be going. I hear they're going to be going. I don't know. But I would imagine because they get, you know, Colbert has better ratings than Kimmel or Fallon, you know.
Rebecca Downs
Now I guarantee you that tonight that Fallon and Kimmel are likely to whine about it on their shows. And I'm just going to place a bit of a wager that whatever they do is going to be super unfunny. We'll be back in a second. It's the Tony Kennett cast. This is the Tony Kennett cast on 93 WIBC, the WNBA, God bless it, not, you know, as an organization that values excellent athleticism. And by the way, not, not a dig on women's sports at all. I really have, I've said this before, I've enjoyed watching women's college basketball. I have. I had a cousin who was leading the country in field goal blocks from Morehead State. Phenomenal athlete. Have enjoyed a lot of college games. And for that matter, I really enjoy college basketball for men more than I enjoy the NBA. Two totally different reasons, though. The reason that I enjoy college basketball more than I enjoy professional sports for, for either is because you get to see over four years the development of players. You get to see strategies change, coaches change more readily. It's not a bunch of seven foot, eight foot dudes who have it way easier to just sink whatever it is that they want, walk up to the basket and just drop it in without any kind of, you know, an airtime. So at least as far as I'm concerned, that's why I don't really care for the NBA compared to men's college basketball. The reason I don't like the WNBA is because, oh, my gosh, it is the most unentertaining thing that never gets any better. And the reason that people like Caitlin Clark is because she's one of the first people from the college basketball circuit that had genuine talent, that continued on to professional sports. Started drawing a crowd from, example, here in my native Indiana, for example, Sophie Cunningham, who is, I would say, a really decent person in an era and an age and a league of really catty, awful people who have decided to forego athletics to talk about the color and gender that they prefer to shag. Yeah, I mean, I'm going to say that makes sense. People wouldn't like that kind of nonsense. That has not stopped people like Angel Reese, who is famous for having the most rebounds in the league because she misses almost all of her own shots. Angel Reese has said that if they don't pay us what you owe us, then I guess their. Their big, huge threat is they're gonna sit out from the games and they're gonna go on strike. We all did it. Yeah. The CBA is coming up. I can't wait, girl.
Tony Kennett
Y' all benefited from everything.
Rebecca Downs
Y' all youngins benefited from. Nil. What does that mean? We deserve more? Of course. Everybody, I agree.
Tony Kennett
Everybody, I agree with that.
Rebecca Downs
But we got a good pace of consequence there. We got to get on something. Y' all gotta do something. But the women coming in, what, not this year, but next year or. Cause the ones coming this year will still be in the rookie contract again. The ones that the year after, they gonna get more. They probably gonna be making more than us. No, they are. I'm sorry. I'm losing brain cells watching this. There's only 17 seconds left in this clip, so let's suck it up and get through it here. I'm heard they are like, yeah, I've been in the meetings. They are. I need to get in the. I need to get in the field. You need to come to the meeting. I need to get in the meetings because I'm hearing, like, yeah, they don't give us. If y' all don't give. We want, like, we sit out. Oh, you're gonna sit out, are you? Oh, no. That's really gonna disappoint the fan. Oh, man, I'm. I'm amazed now. It's really funny to watch Angel Reese complain about this. And Banchi over from Red State made this point over on X And it's just a, it's a stellar one here. It's hilarious to watch Angel Reese make the complaints that she's not being paid enough. When right now. Oh, according to polymarket, that's not what people are betting on in the WNBA right now. People aren't betting on the performance of the wnba. What are they betting on right now? People in the. In regarding to the wnba, the most popular betting item right now is whether or not a green sex toy is going to be thrown on the court during the game. Because now is it, Is it three or is it four? Well, it's three in one attempt, isn't it? Three male appendages of the silicone variety colored, bright neon green have been thrown onto the court during a WNBA game. And at one time, I believe that it didn't make it to the court. It just hit a child instead, which. Kind of awkward and disturbing. Here you go. Nowhere, bro. Nowhere. Yeah, so it smacked into the side of a child's head, didn't make it to the court. So now there's a betting market around this. No one's betting on Angel Reese other than there was a previous series on how long or I think it was would Angel Reese miss her first shot. And that was a popular betting thing for a while. But other than that, yeah, it's the whether or not people are going to throw a nice green silicone ding dong onto the court. Now, producer Nick has been keeping track of the records here so far on ding dong gate 25. What are we looking at, stats wise? Because, you know, we got to get in. Hold on, let me see if I actually have something here. I know it's NFL theme, but. All right, producer Nick, give us the Ding dong stats coming in. July 29th, we had our first throw make it to the court in Atlanta at Gateway center during the Golden State Valkyries versus Atlanta Dream Team. The. The second time. Wait a minute, wait a minute. The name of the Atlanta team is the Dream Team. Atlanta Dream. Oh, I, I, as if I always thought they were just like saying, you know, like the Dream Team, like the Olympics. I didn't realize that they actually named the team that so many people sleep through the game. Ephemeral names to them. Fair, Fair. All right, next one. Hit me up. Wait until we get to the Chicago sky. Just sky. Chicago sky sky versus the Golden State Valkyries again. Again in wintrust Arena. This time, our second appendage hit the court. The third time it successfully made it to the court was in LA at the Crypto Stadium with The LA Sparks versus Indiana Fever. Oh, look out, here we go. Something just came. I don't know. Something hits the court. And the only person at all who is being a good sport about it is Sophie Cunningham, because she's laughing about it. Because as I've said before, Sosie Cunningham is hilarious and really normal. And then we had one. Was it today that almost made it to the court. Both the third and the fourth attempts happened on August 5th. Sadly, the fourth one didn't make it and hit a child. That's the one we saw sitting there in the stadiums as the officials circled it again. That was at the Dallas Wings versus the New York Liberty in the Barclays Center. So these are already. These. This is starting to be called a, a, a. A homophobic attack is what some media outlets are starting to describe this as. Some columnists, which is really funny. Uh, but I, I do want to point this out. A no bag policy has now been placed for tonight's WNBA game. Don't know what, teams don't care to crack down on. And I quote, this is the official WNBA statement. The green dildo problem. This is the most amazing timeline that we're living in. And as a friend of mine quipped, if that doesn't fix it, they'll have body cavity searches.
Tony Kennett
Next.
Rebecca Downs
Radio crew. We'll catch you guys later. We're going to do some bonus tonus here. It's the Tony Kennett cast here on the Daily Signal. Dude, going to start taking some cues from ts. Are you trying to heckle the WNBA or you just happy to see me? All right, onto some bonus tonus before I cough up along. Okay, so there are a couple of extra clips here that I did want to share with the rest of you. First of all, the Associated Press is getting roasted and toasted today because they decided to release an article this morning complaining that the Israeli pager operation against the Hezbollah terror organization, again, the organization which has killed United States Marines. Just keep track of your. I know it's really hard to keep track of the different Muslim terrorist organizations. It's difficult. I hear you. But Hezbollah, who Israel made a front group for, sold a bunch of fake pagers. Well, real pagers. They worked to a bunch of Hezbollah terrorists who thought they were, you know, being all sneaky because, hey, you know, we've got, you know, now they can't track us on our phones. We'll use pagers instead. So smart and advanced technology that they ran into that day. Of course. Of course. You know, and then because the IDF knew and the Mossad knew that the Hezbollah crew was going to be the only one buying pagers because no one in 2025 or 2024, when this pager attacked. No, it wasn't 2025. Right. That the attack occurred. There was nobody out there. Again, the most common piece of technological infrastructure around the world right now is a smartphone. The poorest villages in Africa and Southeast Asia, people have smartphones. So the only people who would have a pager are those who are trying to avoid cell phone tracking. And Israel, you know, you have a call coming from Mossad, and then they blew up and, you know, killed a bunch of terrorists and also burned and scarred a bunch of the terrorists as well. The Associated Press wrote an article called Survivors of Israel's Pager Attack on Hezbollah Struggle to Recover. Oh, yes. And so then they are showing individuals who they are claiming are not a part of, of Hezbollah because there's like, there's like one child in there, but again, the, the parent left. Again, the dude, the dad part of Hezbollah left the pager near his child and it threw some shrapnel in the child's face. That is on the father who's a part of Hezbollah. That's not on Israel. But again, just, just moving, moving right along from there. Here, by the way, thanks to Psalm 91. Excellent passage, by the way, for the 10 super chat. I'm glad that you think that we're hilarious with the sarcasm here. We'll try to keep that up, at least until I get removed from the airwaves for probably taking it a bit too far. So the Associated Press is mourning all of these individuals who, again, are active terrorists and have put everyone around them in danger consistently, who have held hostages, who have beaten and raped women and children on camera, promoting it from their own propaganda, from their own outlets. They've pushed it to the rest of us. Now, the Associated Press, who, by the way, at one time shared an office next door to either Hezbollah or Hamas. They had an office right next door and they knew about it. They didn't tell anybody about it. I love it. The media thinks that this is. They. They can just waltz this past the American people. At this point, it ain't working. It just ain't happening, Captain. Now, from that point forward, there are just a couple of clips here that I think are quite special. Tulsi Gabbard sums a lot of this up rather well in why she left the Democrat Party. A recent interview here on Pod Force One, and I was expecting perhaps a slightly different example than what it was that she gave. Here, check it out. The Democratic Party has become more and more unrecognizable to me now. Certainly when I left the Democratic Party, I tried for a long time to bring about change within the Democratic Party to bring it back to the party of jfk. And time and time again what I faced was quite extreme resistance from within the Democratic Party. I remember as I was running for President in 2020, at one of the, I think it was one of the debates that we had, I talked about bringing the Democratic Party, wanting to revive kind of a new Democratic Party that would bring it back to our roots of fighting for the people, of fighting for free speech. And I was ridiculed. I was ridiculed at that Democratic event for having the audacity to say such things. And then that was five years ago. Now you look at where we are today, the Democratic Party has rapidly become far more extreme. Yeah, yeah. I mean the. Again, when you suggest, hey, we should really moderate just a little bit here and the Democrat Party said no more LGBTQ plus 2 IA. And you know what, directly target the kids with it. I want men in lingerie in elementary schools right now, reading to them, put the kids on their laps, naked people in the streets and if you don't like that, you're homophobic and transphobic and all of the other phobics and, and also white people are bad and also Asian people are bad and also the Jews are bad and also depending on the day, Hispanic people are bad and, or Latinx cuz we're gonna insult them there. And they're shocked that this hasn't worked. And there were people like Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Like Tulsi Gabbard who said why don't we like moderate a little bit here, why don't we go back to loving the country and just, you know, little more protectionist on the economy perhaps, or a little more again protectionist or some populist angles on some political issues. And the Democrat Party cut them out and so Trump picked them up, which is one of the reasons why when Republicans argue in the open, it doesn't bother me at all. Of course there's going to be Republicans arguing in the open. You've got Bill Clintonian era economy Democrats who are no longer Democrats sharing a party with traditional kind of, you know, your, your Thomas Soul economic conservatives and then your evangelical style conservatives and your libertarian crew. Those are four very different groups of people. You know, your corporate entity mixed with your traditional like values oriented community mixed with libertarians who you know though are often Our favorite little devil's advocates. Just saying no to everything. You know, very useful to have. And, you know, I very much agree with them on shall not be infringed and, you know, the manufacture of illegal firearms. Praise God. Uh, but then, you know, you've got this Bill Clintonian, moderate populist Democrats that are now a part of the Republican Party. The Democrats have none of that. Are they gonna pull away from it? No, because by pulling away from it. Now, there was a short time after the election in 2024 when a group of Democrats went to Virginia and held a little impromptu conference they paid for with their own money, which, by the way, may be the first time Democrats have ever paid for something with their own money, ever. They went to Virginia and said, here's what we're going to do. We're going to start going to gun shows and churches. We're going to wave the American flag and we're going to moderate the Democrat Party and not make it all about who we're sleeping with or what colors we want to be in, what positions of society based on not merit. But we're going to, like, talk about character and we're going to talk about the importance of having diversity, but it's going to be around character more. So, again, kind of a moderate Republican approach. Like how the Indiana Republican Party said we really need a diversity club because otherwise people will think we're racist. Which is not how that works. But alas, that's a personal gripe. So the Democrat Party said, let's moderate a little bit here. And Ken Martin, who is again, the weird Ken doll, not. Not the good kind from the Barbie movie who's always happy, but like this weird, weak beta male they made from the Minnesota date DNC chair to being the head of the DNC in the country, disavowed them all and said, absolutely not. Don't you dare. Let's see here. Oh, by the way, thanks to Chris streeter for the $20 super chat again. You guys don't have to do this, but it's incredibly kind. We appreciate it. It does help us get more stuff out to you. He said, I just found you on YouTube last week. Really enjoying the show. Look forward to it every day now. I love the voices. Do more big, beautiful Donald John Trump. It'll be huge. I'm working on Trump. It's his voice changes as he's getting a little older, and now that he's not in campaign mode because he's run his elections, it's changing a bit. I'll work on that one for you, I promise. The Democrats can't moderate. So what are they going to do? Well, the Republicans are taking their strategies ironically, kicking the populist Democrats out of the party and putting Tulsi Gabbard, a former Democrat, as the head of dni. Just really just screwed him over. I don't have an analogy or a funny way to say that, but putting people who you used to include in your strategy sessions on how to manipulate certain legal mechanisms so that now Kathy Hochul has to get up in front of the American people and go, okay, so they're, they're doing a legal insurrection. And, and by a legal insurrection, I mean it's like, legal, but it's not legal. But it's kind of legal. But that doesn't mean that it's legal. And again, thinking this is the move to do like they have nothing to. They have no idea what's going on. Again, sorry for the use of the word like a bunch. As a millennial, it is because I am genuinely dumbfounded that they have backed themselves into this corner. Kathy Hochul describing the Republicans actions as legal and then getting a little scared while Donald Trump and his co conspirator Greg Abbott erode our democracy and drag us toward authoritarianism. Atta girl. Now, what Texas and Republican states are doing at the direction of Donald Trump, I say, is nothing short of a legal insurrection against our Capitol. Legal, meaning they're using the legal process does not mean it's legal and it must be stopped. What le Again, we aired this clip yesterday, but it still befuddles me what legal processes that go through the legal process are suddenly illegal. Amazing. Amazing. They have nothing at all to stand on, and it shows, and it's only gonna get worse for them now, by the way, the media has come around. Trump has been watching a lot more CNBC and the financial stuff. Um, most of that does come from the very exuberant jubilant exaltations on economic indicators. Uh, but every once in a while, when Trump does call in to do some kind of an interview here, the CNBC guy doing the interview said that, well, you know, Trump, you didn't actually win more votes in Texas than anybody ever has. We're gonna have to do a fact check on that. And it didn't really go so well for him, you know, here we go.
Donald Trump
So you did get the highest number of votes in Texas. So that's tr.
Rebecca Downs
True.
Donald Trump
But when you're talking, you don't have to say anything more.
Rebecca Downs
Joe, I, I gotta Say this.
Donald Trump
No, don't say anything.
Rebecca Downs
I gotta say. Okay. I can't just say that. You're right. Oh, no, I have to stop. I gotta stop. I was like, dude, you just, you can just stop. Just say you were right. I've done it. Heck, I'm married sometimes. Just gotta go, look, you were right, and then shut your mouth.
Donald Trump
Don't qualify it by saying no.
Rebecca Downs
I got the highest number of votes you did in the history. I'm moving on. I'm moving on to.
Donald Trump
To your claim that.
Rebecca Downs
That I'm moving on to something else. I'm going to fact check you on how dare you again. Every time they try it, there's nothing new under the sun. It is the thing from Ecclesiastes that has proven more true to me day by day. There really is nothing new under the sun. The second thing that's proven to me day by day is that everyone is making it up as they go along. And this is where I'll be a little candid with you here. So one of the weird parts about being the national correspondent for the Daily Signal, that is a really incredible honor, is that I have the privilege of getting to go on a lot of network TV hits, on radio, on live streams, podcasts, and network TV and affiliate tv, cable TV throughout the day, and sit on panels and answer questions. A lot of the people that I grew up thinking were these incredible, brilliant professionals, that they did all of this intensive research and they're doing all this stuff. One guy's show whom I went on, you absolutely would know who this individual is. He wrote his entire show across from me 15 minutes before we went on the air and griped at me for talking to one of the co hosts of the show. There are individuals that are on these big networks. Some of them, again, I'm not going to name any names because, you know, we have off days. Heck we do. We had tech issues last night. They're literally just bouncing around. They're 15 minutes late, they're not on schedule, they're not on clock. They don't know what they're doing. The politicians are the same way. We also, we often like to suggest that everyone in these political positions are these incredible masterminds, that these are all like secret red flags. The left wing calls them dog whistles and the right wing calls them like projections and Freudian slips. The truth of the matter is, most often people are just stupid. People are just stupid. Which is why it's hilarious to me when these clowns from legacy media outlets, whether they're producers, station managers, like the station manager In Indianapolis for Fox 59, the next star network, who has decided for so many years, you know, which stories go where, that the anchors of the station are making fun of them behind their back because it's just such a clown show when you're, you know, they're major national news. And you're picking. Now we turn to this week's Dog on a Skateboard video. The lack of professionalism in this industry really is hilarious, which should tell you two things. Number one, it should tell you that when they insult you, they don't realize, and I mean this, they really don't realize how much they're shooting themselves in their own feet. So you see NPR get up in front and say, you can. They can just say, oh, all of these Americans totally rely on us for emergency alerts. Where were they? Where were all of the stories of. It was a blizzard in 1971. There was 17ft of snow up, by the way. Yeah, there really was a blizzard. And not important, 76. Blizzard of 76 and 77. Those two particular years are rather snowy in the Midwest. And in that blizzard, I tell you what, snow so high up to the door. But, man, it's a good thing NPR and PBS was there. I wouldn't have known it was snowing outside. I'd have gone out with my swim trunks on. Where were the stories about this? There aren't any. But they just get out there and they say it because you are a bunch of dumb Americans who can be told whatever. It's why we don't run the show like that. We try to be really transparent with you that right over there is the computer from which the show operates. Right there is the, the equipment that sends the signal to the radio stations and the TV affiliates. There's not that much to it. And that's not, you know, suggesting that we don't put a lot of work in the show. We really try to. But it astounds me that we are this far past 2024 and the election that, remember Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson, they came out from CNN and Axios. We've learned our lesson from covering up the Joe Biden scandal. We promise we're never going to do that again. The media again. Alex Thompson at Axios at the correspondence center said we've failed the American people. We all need to do better. And yet here we are just a couple of days later. It's not been that long, guys. We haven't even finished the first year of the Trump administration. And Already you've got hosts that are on the air saying, well, if a, you know, lawsuit takes place in Florida, then the jury's gonna screw it up. It's gonna be terrible. And you think that you're just gonna waltz through the midterms with that. When Hakeem Jeffries says the American people, they know the big, beautiful bill is bad. That's why they're very angry with Republicans. Are you serious? You think that the lady who just got off of her nursing shift at Henry County Memorial Hospital who's been dealing with coding patients all evening, that on her way home, she's going, man, that big, beautiful bill that I totally read about on my lunch break, or I'm so mad about it, I'm going to go vote for the Democrats. Yeah. Okay. Okay, Jan, Sure. Right now, what I see is a lot of Americans who are getting what they voted for, yours truly included, on immigration, on the economy, albeit at a rather unorthodox fashion, at telling foreign countries if they don't want to work with the United States in a manner that we see fit, they can go screw themselves, which is what Mark Carney is currently experiencing. Oh, no. No one in America is going to be able to afford avocados and maple syrup. Oh, no, not avocados and maple syrup. Oh, no. The nonsense that is consistently shoved to the top just does not bear out in the polling data, a major obstacle for Republicans. So with that said, hope you guys have a wonderful evening. We'll be back tomorrow, two days before I shuttle off to the Middle east to do a little investigative reporting out there. We will still have the show there while we're out there. So again, thank you guys very much for tuning in this evening. Of course, down in the description is our Discord Channel. You're welcome to join us in chat. And if you do join our YouTube membership, which you don't have to, just an option. It gives you access to things like the Top news in 10 when we upload it instead of having to wait until the next morning. If that's how excited you are for new content, we've got a lot more to come. There is a couple updates we'll be getting to. For example, I know I didn't really get into the Speedway Slammer, the Indiana version of Alligator Alcatraz. But again, we've got an interview that might be coming from the DHS on that soon. So if it's worth doing, it's worth doing right, not just fast. It's the Tony Kinnett cast here on the Daily Signal.
