Let's get down to business. You're listening to the Tony Kinnit cast on 93 WIBC on CyTV, here on the Daily Signal. Well, hello and welcome back to the Daily Signals. Tony Kennett, Castle here, syndicated nationally on the live streams, YouTube, XN Rumble on the radio. Out of 93 WIBC first and our other syndication partners. We're thrilled that you're here and we're even more thrilled to be back in the good old US Of A. That's right. Back from a fantastic trip. We're going to get to that because without further ado, there were some big meetings today. Much ado. My big fat European wedding now. No, my big fat European convention meeting in Washington, D.C. zelensky back at the White House, this time in a suit. He's ready to meet with Trump. Trump just talked with Putin on Friday. And right off the bat, Zelinsky appears ready to end the war, even if there are some territory negotiations. Check it out. President Zelensky, are you prepared to keep sending Ukrainian troops to their deaths for another couple years or are you going to agree to redraw the maps?
Volodymyr Zelenskyy
Thank you. Your question. So first of all, you know, we live under each day attacks.
Tony Kennett
You know that today been a lot.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy
Of attacks and a lot of wounded people. And the child was dead. Small one one one year and a half. So we, we need to stop this war to stop Russia and we need support America.
Tony Kennett
That's a big deal. It is a big deal for Zelensky to say, look, I mean, our Constitution says that we can't just hack up and give away territory. But if Russia occupies some things and there's, you know, some concessions, well, then we do need to end the war. And Peter Doocy, all credit to him over from Fox, he didn't sugarcoat that one. Are you comfortable sending men to die for more years or are you ready to end this war. That's a spicy question. I mean, you don't really see hard hitting questions like that. What kind of questions do you normally see?
Volodymyr Zelenskyy
Well, first of all, Mr. President Zelensky, you look fabulous in that suit. I said the same thing. Yeah, you look good. I said the same thing. Yeah, I said the one that attacked you last time. See, that was. I remember that. I apologize to you. Look. You look wonderful. No, my first question for you, President Jinsky in the same suit.
Tony Kennett
You see, I changed your.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy
Maybe you're.
Tony Kennett
I'm going to be honest with you guys. First of all, I get it. It is important that Zelensky dresses appropriately when he comes to the White House and meets with the most powerful man on earth. 100% agree. I hate these kinds of questions. If you're a reporter, and to be clear, I'm a pundit. My job is to get in there and give you the facts and then the analysis as I see it, based on the evidence. Hopefully, if you're a pundit, you've actually got some evidence that you're bringing forward. I'm going to level with you. I hate it when people start asking a question by telling you everything in their entire life. Well, I'm so happy to be here. And also, it's nice to see this. Do you remember me from last time I tagged you in Facebook? Shut up and ask the question. Dear sweet baby Moses in a basket drifting down the Nile, we do not need to hear how important you are. And I dealt with this constantly, even from friends of mine in the delegation when we went to Israel. Every time they'd raised their hand. Hello. First of all, I just want to say how happy I am and how much I support what it is that you guys are going through. And also how to. Shut up. Get to the question. We have a limited amount of time with Zelensky and Trump in the chairs. I have questions. My audience at the Daily Signal, they have questions. That is less time that we get. Because you want to show everyone how great of a reporter. Hey, remember last time when we had the dirt. Shut up. Get to the point, Scoob. Now let's talk about the point. We have to talk about the individuals who are going to keep the Ukrainian peace. These are the big countries, the big kahunas. Americans would prefer it not be them. Americans don't want to have troops in Ukraine. A lot of Americans are not comfortable that if the North Koreans march south, they kill American troops in the process. We really don't want this. The next time that Russia gets territorial ambitions in Eastern Europe. Here you go, Trump. To be able to make a deal.
Israeli Journalist
Is it American troops, intelligence equipment, what is it?
Volodymyr Zelenskyy
Everything really. It includes two parts.
Tony Kennett
First, strong Ukrainian army.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy
That what I began to discuss with you, your colleagues.
Tony Kennett
And it's a lot about weapon and.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy
People and training missions and intelligence.
Tony Kennett
And second, it will, we will discuss with our partners.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy
It depends on the big countries, on.
Tony Kennett
The United States, on a lot of our friends. And Mr. President, are you willing to commit American troops to that NATO like.
Israeli Journalist
Protection in order to get President Zelensky.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy
To a deal today?
Tony Kennett
Now, you're going to see a pretty decent evade by the president. And then of course, Zelensky, he said, well, we'll take everything. That's also an evasion. I'll explain why in a second.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy
I don't know if you define it that way, but NATO like, I mean, we're going to give, we have people waiting in another room right now. They're all here from Europe, biggest people in Europe, and they want to give protection. They feel very strongly about it and we'll help them out with that.
Tony Kennett
I think. Now I do want to clarify, when he says the biggest people in Europe, he doesn't mean ROSIE o'. DONNELL. This is big in professional stature, not in size in like Ireland. So moving aside from those important points, there is a bit of evasion that I'm kind of happy about. So the question is, are U.S. troops going to be on the, you know, U.S. troops going to be in the region, boots on the ground? Zelensky, what do you want from America? And Zelensky says, I want everything, which means I will take whatever it is that they give me to broker a long lasting peace. And I saw people online going that's just, he's just greedy. I'm going to let you in on a little secret. The media is not a party to negotiation. Zelensky on the inside does have a red line. On the inside, Trump has a red line. When Barack Obama, he got out there and he put a red line in the sand and said, syria, don't cross it, and then it was crossed. Well, when you put the red line in the sand in front of God and everybody and then it's crossed, you either have to put up or shut up by Zelensky not saying specifically what he needs from the United States, from the Europeans, from NATO or from Russia or from or from China or whomever the actors are in this agreement. You keep things close to the chest. Trump in the same way, well, I don't know if we're gonna do that, but we're gonna do this. We're gonna try our best and we're gonna have peace, a long lasting peace. Sorry, my impressions are a little rough because I'm a bit under the weather here. But the point stands. It's okay not to have leaders spill all of their guts to the media on particular issues. It shows that the people in the room are serious. They're not just doing a media tour. The last time Zelinsky was in there, it was a bit of a media tour. This time, no media tour. It appears that there actually are a few serious things getting done. And by the way, this matters because the polling in Ukraine shows that the Ukrainians are done with war. And this matters considerably because some of the issues has cited constitutional issues, election issues. The Ukrainian opinion has shifted. Here's Harry Anton over on cnn, the polling guru. There have been some absolutely major shifts. The idea that Ukraine's going to achieve complete victory, that idea has collapsed within Ukrainian society. What are we talking about here? Ukrainians on the war versus Russia. You go back to 2020, to the start of the war, fight until Ukraine wins. Look at this. The vast majority, about 3/4, 73%, agreed with that position. Negotiate to end the war as soon as possible. Only 22%. Look at where we are now. It's a complete flip. It's the inverse. Now, 60, 69% want to negotiate to end the war as soon as possible, compared to just 24% who want to fight until Ukraine wins. That's a 49 point drop in this position now, of course, negotiating to end the war as soon as possible, that's a bit more nuanced. Right. And we'll get to some of that nuance in a second. But President Trump is fairly hopeful for peace talks, of course, as you would expect him to be hopeful about certain things. But he's on a bit of a streak here. You can't deny it.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy
The Alaska summit reinforced my belief that while difficult, peace is within reach. And I believe that in a very significant step, President Putin agreed that Russia would accept security guarantees for Ukraine. And this is one of the key points that we need to consider.
Tony Kennett
And we're going to get to those security guarantees because who is doing the guaranteeing matters a whole lot here.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy
We're going to be considering that at the table also, like who will do what. Essentially, I'm optimistic that collectively we can reach an agreement that would deter any future aggression against Ukraine. And I actually think there won't be. I think that's even over overrated. Largely overrated. But we're going to find out. And I think that the European nations are gonna take a lot of the burden. We're gonna help them.
Tony Kennett
That's a big deal. It is a big deal. And by the way, we have some breaking news, I would say, from the Financial Times from right before the show. So we can't actually issue this as a breaking statement. There are two parts to the security agreement, one of which has been reported by the Financial Times showing that the Ukrainians are currently planning to promise. This is according to a leaked document that is going to be released in the next couple of days. Ukraine will promise to buy $100 billion worth of American weapons financed by Europe in a bid to obtain U.S. guarantees for its security after a peace settlement with Russia, according to the document reportedly seen by the Financial Times. Quote, under the proposals, Kiev and Washington would also strike an additional $50 billion deal to produce drones with Ukrainian companies that have pioneered the technology since Russia's full scale invasion in 2022. End quote. This is a very big deal. We're going to explain why on the live stream radio crew, we have to send you over to commercial. It's the Tony Kennett cast here on the Daily Signal. No time for mincing words at the moment. So why does this matter? Like the United States arms agreement with Israel in which Israel has to spend its money on American arms and has to divulge military schematics and improvements regarding its missile intercept and Iron Dome technologies. Ukraine, through European funding, buying equipment from the United States to improve its already impressive drone countermeasures. That is a huge deal because if Israel is on the front lines for missile interception and Ukraine is on the front lines for drone interception and countermeasures, et cetera, then the United States benefiting from those things both via military intelligence and financially is a huge deal. Now personally, I would like to see anti missile systems in the United States just beyond the Aegis class destroyers. I would like to see drone military infrastructure built far past the MQ9 Reaper and the RQ7 Bravo. I would love to see more advancements in US drone technology and also, you know, them striking the Mexican cartels. But alas, before I get ahead of myself, the real key here rests in the French and the British proposal. Keir Starmer, Emmanuel Alhaz, Macron, Sorry to get the Muslim pronunciation in there. The European leaders stationing troops in the Ukrainian regions once the borders are drawn up, much like how the United States is stationing troops in South Korea in case the North Koreans get a little antsy. Again, I'm not the first to make this point. I believe Ben Shapiro made this point quite accurately this morning. The stopgap measure of trigger troops. That's how I think Ben phrased it. That is a very, very good thing for Americans because that means there aren't American boots on the ground. If Putin wants to go to an immediate reactionary war with the French, the Brits, the Dutch, likely, given the individuals there, maybe the Finnish, that puts a couple of unfriendly neighbors right in the realm of the Russian war machine, which is not faring as well as many people are trying to claim. Now, Kiev is also currently insisting again, according to this document, that it be given full compensation from Russia for wartime damages like $300 billion in Russian sovereign assets frozen in Western countries. I think that's going to be the lever for whether or not Russia gives back part of the Donbass. That's my prediction right now. If Russia wants back the frozen assets, it gives up part of the Donbass, especially the mineral rights to the United States and the Ukraine. Now, if Russia doesn't, by the way, you've asked what leverage there is for the United States to negotiate territory when Russia's taken a bunch of it. That's the leverage. It's $300 billion in frozen assets. Now, will that happen? I don't know. You don't know? We have to find out. And this, yes, Producer Nick, as well.
Producer Nick
As the, as we've seen, the very impressive foreign trade tariffs and struggles that.
Tony Kennett
Russia has gone through, especially secondary tariffs, secondary sanctions, tertiary sanctions through China and then through its trading partners. Absolutely. Now, we'll get to in a second that Secretary Marco Rubio, the man with 14 hats, lot of stuff going on regarding the way that the State Department is viewing some of these negotiations. We'll have to get to that because President Trump just posted before the show, I had a very good meeting with distinguished guests, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine, Emmanuel Macron of France, Alexander Stubb of Finland, Prime Minister Giorgio Meloni of Italy, Prime Minister Keir Starmer of the United Kingdom, Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, suck it, East Germans, Friedrich Mertz, and President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen. And then, you know, Secretary General of NATO, Mark Rudy, who calls Trump daddy in the White House. So we're going to get to some of this here in a couple of minutes, the Trump Putin meeting. There's one thing that I really want to point out, and that is that Trump had B2 bombers fly over with F22s and 35s as Putin visited. Power move by the president. Just power moves. Yeah. God bless the U.S. air Force. And while we're on the subject of that, we gotta bring the radio crew back from commercial. Sorry about that. It's the Tony Kennett cast. This is the Tony Kenneth cast on 93 WIBC. Welcome back. Because the European leaders threw Trump a fiesta today, and at this point, I'm starting to have a little bit of trouble keeping track of the various world leaders calling for the President of the United States to win a Nobel Peace Prize. And I received a question from an individual who writes for a major left wing publication. Let's just say they are from Newsweek. And they asked why it was that so many conservative pundits were talking about Trump and the Nobel Peace Prize. Why is it that we harp on this so much? Why do we discuss this kind of thing? Because Barack Obama received one for nothing. Nothing. Genuine nothing. There was nothing that Obama had put forward that made the world markedly better. And if you don't believe me, you can ask the victims of the weddings he drone struck. Barack Obama did nothing for foreign policy and by the way, gave up at the time, Acting President Medvedev complete leverage in the run up to his second term, which led to, you know, again, the first invasion of Crimea and Georgia and a whole mess. So if we're going to look at the Nobel Peace Prize for people who aren't over on the far left and patting themselves on the back, just making the case that perhaps a little bit would go a long way to restore trust in some kinds of institutions in some places as a kind of final litmus test as to whether or not the Nobel Prizes are worth anything at all. As to whether or not Trump, who has brokered again six peace deals and or ceasefires, brokers a seventh with Russia and Ukraine. And again, of course, Putin said, you know, that the war would never have happened. You know, he agreed with President Trump. There's been a lot of argument as to whether that was Putin just trying to fluff Trump up or whether he was making a concession. I think it's a little bit of both. The European leaders meeting with Trump never fails to amaze me how these are all really big diplomats who think very highly of themselves. And in the middle of a photo op, Trump just says, you ever seen that painting? Looks kind of cool. I mean, you're Trump today with the European leaders. Just point to that painting. You see that painting over there? Not a great pay look at it. Isn't it great? Look, it's me just raised in the air. Shot at. How many of you have been shot at? Emmanuel McCrone, while you're busy licking the Quran, have you ever been shot at? No. You're a coward. I mean, it's just. It's funny. Come on. There is something about how Trump interacts with world leaders that is, in fact, hilarious. And by the way, in case you're wondering, while you were told during, remember during the Biden years, producer Nick, that all of the world leaders said, oh, if Trump gets back in office, this will be very, very bad. And there was all of this fear mongering. Remember this fear monger. Yeah.
Producer Nick
That we'd lose all the respect that we gain under Democratic leaders and the world would just fall apart.
Tony Kennett
Right. Well, let's see what the world leaders have to say. Italian Prime Minister Giorgio Meloni, Prime Minister.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy
Meloni of Italy, who's a really great leader and an inspiration over there, she's served now, even though she's a very young person, she's served there for a long period of time. Relative to others, they don't last very long. You've lasted a long time. You're going to be there a long time again.
Tony Kennett
Then you've got the Finnish president as well. I think in the past two weeks, we've probably had more progress in ending this war than we have in the past three and a half years. Now, that's not all. I'm sorry. We're talking about world leaders, and certainly the former Secretary of State and field presidential candidate is not among them. But Hillary Clinton even had to come to the point of saying, you know, yeah, I mean, if Trump brokers this deal, although she set up some pretty high. Some pretty high conditions to fulfill. No, no exchange of territories, which isn't gonna happen. She says, yeah, even she'd nominate him for a Nobel Prize, which, again, coming from Hillary Clinton, is something I actually.
Israeli Journalist
Was encouraged by the events of the last several months. First of all, the NATO commitment by individual member states to increase their defense spending is very welcome. It's something that prior administrations have certainly sought. And I think it's great that we are seeing these commitments that now have to be followed through on the willingness of European countries to support Ukraine.
Tony Kennett
I'm sorry, one of the reasons that Americans just despise her and despise people like Gavin Newsom, who we're going to get to in a couple of minutes here, the way that they take 18 pages to say one sentence. Don't get Me wrong. It takes me a while to say certain things, but that's because I'm brokering through analogies and I'm just trying to speak in a normal conversational manner. But when you incentivize the vocabulary of regal aristocrats by including superfluous and pedantic language models to impress your underlings and taking a very fortuitous amount of time to express one's opinion, oh, my gosh, stab my ears with scissors.
Producer Nick
How many different thesaurus pages does she have open at a time?
Tony Kennett
I'm telling you what. I'm sure that she sleeps with two things. Number one, a picture of George Stephanopoulos, and number two, a thesaurus cuddled up.
Israeli Journalist
Under her right arm and by doing so, buy American weapons in order to provide them to the Ukrainians. I think all of that is a very good signal that all of those.
Tony Kennett
Fancy words and all she has is just good, expedient, indubitableness.
Israeli Journalist
There is beginning to be a better understanding, both by the President and the.
Tony Kennett
People around him as well the administration.
Israeli Journalist
Well, as by the leaders of our European allies, that there can be common ground amongst us. And the kind of dismissiveness that we saw in the first Trump administration, you.
Tony Kennett
Know, when Russia didn't invade, has been.
Israeli Journalist
Replaced by a much more obvious working relationship to the good of European security, transatlantic security.
Tony Kennett
She goes on to say that if there's no exchange of territory, she's like, I'll nominate him for a Nobel Prize myself. Yeah, I don't think we're looking for that. Maybe in an exchange for a pardon at some point. Given the increasingly trepidatious, uncouth nature of such untoward ridiculousness of Hillary Clinton, I.
Producer Nick
Also have to question the outfit choices.
Tony Kennett
I'll tell you what, I will say this. I'm not going to necessarily go after the outfit of this particular instance. And I will explain why later in the show. We'll talk about why she dressed like a wing back chair from 1965 in a minute. Uh, but I do want to point out the Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, who's. He has all of these jobs in the United States. He's the chief national archivist, and he's like the secondary White House architectural engineer, which is incredible. The National Security Advisor, the Secretary of State. He might be the Assistant Pope for all I know. And he also has a third job of being the most annoyed with the media. So he goes on ABC's this Week with Margaret Brennan, who does a phenomenal job of humiliating herself in front of every member of the administration. And Rubio just pimp smacks her on foreign policy because she tries so desperately to suggest that actually the Trump team is trying to screw over Ukraine here or something.
Israeli Journalist
You know, there is concern from the Europeans that President Zelensky is going to be bullied into signing something away. That's why you have these European leaders coming as backup tomorrow. Can.
Tony Kennett
You know, it isn't. That's coming as back. That's not true. You know, I heard from someone that actually they're coming over here with Red Coats and the Hessians are coming over and they're going to say, stop right there, Trump, or stop and see right there. I don't know what accent that was, but that's how they picture it. And Rubio was like, what are you smoking again? Brennan does this every couple of weeks. She's like, you know, Rubio, I once heard that Crimea is a state on the moon. And Rubio is like, are you high? But that's not why. That's not true. They're not coming here tomorrow to keep Zelensky from being bullied. They're not coming.
Israeli Journalist
They're coming here tomor television cameras where President Zelensky.
Tony Kennett
Do you know how many meetings we've had since then?
Israeli Journalist
Oh, no, I know. And I was just up in Alaska, the one with Vladimir Putin, where red carpet rolls roll.
Tony Kennett
No, but we've had more meetings. We've had. We've had. We've had one meeting with Putin and like a dozen meetings with Zelensky. So. But that's not true. They're not coming here tomorrow to keep Zelensky from being bullied. They're coming here tomorrow because we've been working with the Europeans. We talked to them last week. There were meetings in the UK over the last. She has no idea what to do with that. It's hilarious. All right, we'll be back in a second. Radio crew, we got to continue over on the live stream. It's the Tony Kinnit cast here on the Daily Signal now, beside from Margaret Brennan losing it, the Trump administration is really annoyed about the negative coverage that has come not just to description of his meetings with Putin in Russia, apparently because there was a red carpet rolled out for a world leader. You guys do realize that in foreign delegations, there are red carpets rolled out all the time for different world leaders. It's called, like, basic decorum and diplomatic respect. Yeah.
Producer Nick
Was the red carpet in the B2 bomber flying overhead threateningly low?
Tony Kennett
Yeah, yeah. You know, just the. Again, clearly it's not like, he had Migs and Sukis flying alongside the B2. He threw him threateningly flown. He grabbed Putin and jerked him forward like the angry guy that used to own Air Bud. When he, like, jerks the dog away after the game, he's like, you're coming back with me. Oh, my goodness.
Producer Nick
No weird dancing. Pretty much just all American goodness.
Tony Kennett
Again, the. The idea that Trump being just like a normal guy and then also being like the classic businessman means that he just, like, treats other world leaders like other world leaders. And they're like, how dare you? You're supposed to spit in his face as the supposed impartial mediator, which no one believes us is impartial in this and negot. Negotiator. Yeah, just spit on him or whatever.
Producer Nick
Yeah. Don't appease the band that can end the war in any way, shape or form.
Tony Kennett
So I will point out a comment. Greg says, hey, I find that comment you made about 1965 very offensive. I was born in 1965. Yes. You remember the. The weird, gaudy obsession that the American fashion industry had in the 1960s with, like, weird neon. Not neon, like pastel and light colors, like the light green that would turn into the light orange and brown of the 70s. But there was that time of transition from the 50s to the 70s with furniture, like the light colors. Hillary Clinton, we are going to talk about her outfit here real quick. Why? Because, I don't know, it seems like a really great use of time. So Hillary Clinton here. That's in. In scene two here. Hillary Clinton's outfit gonna get texts.
Israeli Journalist
I actually.
Tony Kennett
Okay, so observe the suit that she's wearing. It looks like a wing back chair from the 1960s that you would see it like TVA in D.C. the airport before it was Reagan. I mean, does it not look like.
Producer Nick
Three at the local Goodwill?
Tony Kennett
Yeah. And by the way, nice chairs. I'd have one. I absolutely would buy one. Watch the movie Catch Me with youh can't. When I say 1960s, I'm pointing to an era trend. Not that she's dressed oldly. I don't know. Sorry. Just as a quick aside, I saw the comment kind of in a flash and thought, that show's going rather well. Let's derail it for a second or two here. Making bad decisions everywhere. All right, so the reason that the Trump Putin media freakout is annoying. I will say some of the Trump administration here is that it goes back to what Trump said in his State of the Union style address. He said, I could cure cancer. Actually find that clip for me on X and DM it to me, if you would. I'm gonna play it. He said, you know, I could cure cancer. I could cure the biggest, worst disease known to man. I could fix everything. And. And none of you pointing to the Democrats would stand. You would clap, you would do anything. There were times during the Biden administration where begrudgingly I said, yeah, I mean, that's a good thing that he did then. That were very far and few in between. Uh, but, you know, when Obama announced a couple of things, like his March Madness picks, for example, they weren't that terrible. And I. Again, there are times that you can identify, even with someone that you don't like, that you can't stand. That is all right. And just gonna make the case that even when President Trump does pretty normal, decent things, even when Hillary Clinton is praising him, you're gonna find all of these goofballs over at the New York Times and the Washington Post and wherever else losing their marbles over it because they just can't stand it. Now we actually do have this clip. Thanks, producer Nick. Here's Trump pointing out the obvious. Way back in January, this is my.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy
Fifth such speech to Congress. And once again, I look at the Democrats in front of me and I realize there is absolutely nothing I can say to make them happy or to make them stand or smile or applaud. Nothing I can do. I could find a cure to the most devastating disease, a disease that would wipe out entire nations or announce the answers to the greatest economy in history, or the stoppage of crime to the lowest level.
Tony Kennett
Stoppage of crime. Hmm. We're gonna get to that. Don't go anywhere. We gotta bring the radio crew back from commercial. It's the Tony Kennett cast. It's the Tony Kennit cast on 93 WYPC. Welcome back to the Tony Kenneth cast radio crew. So Trump gets up in front of the country and in February says, I could solve crime in the worst cities. And then after Mayor Bowser continues to be a complete abysmal failure, like those Washington, D.C. council leadership individuals often are, Trump sends in the Guard and federalizes the police. And wouldn't you know it, we find out so much more upon further investigation. While the media was saying there's no crime in D.C. it's totally fine. I'll have you know I took my Uber limousine from Alexandria over to Martha's Vineyard, and I didn't see any crime at all. I saw a picture of the Capitol today, and the building was white, not covered in graffiti as though that's some kind of an argument. And well now we find out, because this is just a real chef's kiss moment here, that it turns out the Trump administration was right when they said D.C. was covering up the crime. Check it out. A Trump. Oh, scene four. Let's get that up. Crime. But according to a sergeant turned whistleblower, the numbers weren't always to be trusted. In this lawsuit from 2020, Sergeant Charlotte Josue claimed that MPD routinely misclassified crimes and that districts compete against each other to get the largest reduct in the crime statistics. You mean just like how they do it in schools? Like inner city schools? Like when there would be a kid issuing death threats and they would write the kid up for just bullying or there would be a knockdown drag out fight where knives would be shown and they would just say that it was an argument because God forbid you suspend a student. You mean that the restorative justice idiots that I was warning about when I was a whistleblower in Indianapolis public schools, it's the same bleeping thing they're doing in Washington D.C. and Chicago and Baltimore and San Francisco and every other filthy Democrat run city in the country. What an absolute freaking surprise. Possibly paving the way to promotions and raises of course, because what, you know what is just blatant fraud without a little corruption and bribery thrown in there. God bless. And by the way, here's Mayor Bowser at the time praising this rampant corruption and fraud.
Israeli Journalist
It is also true that we experienced a crime spike post Covid, but we work quickly to put laws in place and tactics that got violent offenders off our streets and gave our police officers more tools.
Tony Kennett
Survey says absolutely not. Ridiculous. And by the way, in case you're wondering, there are a couple of protests that, that are getting quite a bit of play. And I, I do wanna, I do wanna point out that right now the Individuals in Washington D.C. the media is like scouring, scouring to find people who are willing to say that they, this is like under fascist rule and it's terrible and oh man, we're all gonna die. In fact, the man, they've got big protests full of people and if you're listening to the show, do me a favor, head over to the live stream YouTube.com daily signal and I want you to look real closely at the makeup of the crowds that are currently protesting the National Guard deployments in Washington D.C. just scratch your chins and see if you can see any common characteristics here. Hey, producer Allison over in Indianapolis, you might just Keep your hand on the. The bleep or dump button just in case someone in the protest, which are very, very diverse, and not a bunch of suburban white women with the weird golf visors like they're gonna go deal poker later. You might keep your finger on the dump button just in case. Al, just a little advice there. D.C. says stop the military takeover. One poster says, hmm, that's interesting. Let's look at another one of these protests here. Okay. Okay, what about this one over here? It's from the Blaze 3 DC, huh? That looks like a bunch of white people. But producer Nick, didn't you tell me something interesting about the demographics of Washington D.C. before we started?
Producer Nick
A lot of people have been interested by, like you said, a lot of white people. Especially considering that most reportings of the demographics of D.C. is a predominantly black. More than any other race, black leads whites by 43 to 39%.
Tony Kennett
Now, while the media was super duper quick to, I guess, run up, and I believe this is over on. On scene three here, ask individuals from the protest, just like random white dudes, what they thought of the national guard deployment of 800 people in Washington DC. So again, scouring. Here you go.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy
Yeah, you have young people who rob CBS CVS's. And yeah, you have young people who.
Tony Kennett
Go, you have like this white guy who like, maybe like a. Like a little Italian. He's kind of got a little bit of the jersey in him. He's saying, you know, you got the young people out there and take down a 7 11. But the answer isn't pouring the National Guard in here.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy
The answer is programs that raise kids.
Tony Kennett
Wait a minute. The answer isn't. There's not even Kiwi. A kiwi. Oh, yeah, the New Zealanders. That's what we're really looking for, programs. Oh, yes, yeah, yeah. The fascist dictatorship that took all of the guns away from the indigenous people.
Israeli Journalist
Hmm.
Tony Kennett
Nonsense. Okay, so the real people of Washington D.C. the. The clips are. There are so many of these clips, actually, that I am unable to. I believe we were unable to get them all loaded into the show. There were genuinely so many of these. We're just gonna start playing them here.
Israeli Journalist
Yeah. You cannot tell me this is not benefiting us. It's definitely doing what it's supposed to do. I don't care what, who versus who, what they mean by what. Baby is clean and beautiful like how we. Like.
Tony Kennett
That's one DC Resident, maybe another.
Israeli Journalist
Are you from the area of dc? Are you a tourist? Born and raised. You're born and raised in D.C. are you here just. Are you working in the area or just tourists right now? Not far from here. Where do you. If. You don't have to tell me, but where do you work? I work at a law firm, a couple. So you're an attorney? No, but I assist. Oh, cool. So what are your thoughts today? We're talking about D.C. crime rates. Is it safe to live in D.C. do you agree with President Trump federalizing for 30 days to sort of stamp down on crime? What are your thoughts? I agree with it. I was born and raised in the.
Tony Kennett
District, and that's not right. Those aren't. Those aren't. It's the white, like, rich suburbanites that are mad about it, but the people who live in the city itself. What happened to listening to black voices? I'm confused. I mean, maybe that's just. There's just two of them.
Israeli Journalist
We need all the protection that we can get in the city because the city is really getting dangerous. A person like me at this age, I have to make sure to come home before sundown.
Tony Kennett
Okay. Okay.
Israeli Journalist
Do you not understand that this is what the residents want? I'm not talking about the bougie upper echelons, bougie blacks. I'm talking about the everyday grandmas that have to deal with these homeless people peeing and pooping on their steps. And then they have to clean it up. They don't feel safe when they walk into their.
Tony Kennett
I'm not messing with you. We have at least five or six more. The producer, Nick, was just stacking up, and as we got closer to the show, there's just more and more and more average people, normal individuals of every race, color and creed, not the rich suburbanites who are very proud of their. Their degree from Prince and, you know, I gotta stop all of the Trump programs going. Yeah, yeah, all that nonsense. Those fools do not speak for the people who like being able to walk in DC. There's an excellent video over on the Daily Signals YouTube page. Elise McHugh from the Daily Signal. She's going to be joining us on the show tomorrow or Wednesday. She has done some phenomenal coverage of this. Going down to Union Station and interviewing people, National Guardsmen and women, as well as those in Union Station itself, because the legacy media is not going to do it. I've been through Union Station when it was a nasty, festering pile of trash. Now, believe it or not, I'm actually looking forward to going to D.C. again. What in the world is this? Radio crew, we're gonna send you over to commercial. I'VE got a little something to talk about on the live stream. And constitutional carry don't go anywhere. It's the Tony Kennedcast all right, Livestream crew. There is a call that was made by Representative Thomas Massie of Kentucky that the Trump administration should order the federal police and the National Guard no longer to enforce the law surrounding gun ownership. So right now I cannot carry in Washington, D.C. oh, how I really wish I could. There's like 450 people in D.C. who can currently carry. It's a very special circumstance situation. I don't get to carry my beautiful H&K VP9 or even the smaller Glock with beautiful tritium sights that I that I enjoy so much. So Massey has called for federal officials not to enforce laws on the books. I very much disagree with that. And I called on Massie immediately and I said, hey, how about a constitutional carry bill? You're in this building called Congress, Congress, the House and the Senate. See, they have jurisdiction over D.C. if Congress passes a bill for D.C. see where I'm going with this little one plus one equals two kind of situation here? So Massie responded to yours truly. I was rather surprised to see he already has put a bill on the floor that is just constitutional carry in Washington, D.C. good on him. And Speaker Mike Johnson should bring this to the floor right now and then send it to the Senate where they should force Cory Booker from New Jersey and Chuck Schumer to get up there and filibuster it for ages and force the American people to reckon with the Democrats fighting against the Trump administration on crime. Harry Anton pointed this out. I don't have the clip ready to go. Crime is in fact Trump's bread and butter because it is the next immigration issue. I said this when I was in Israel. I was talking to a former youth pastor of mine, great mentor Jeremiah Clark, phenomenal dude who made the case that this is going to be like illegal immigration in the border was for Trump. Americans innately trust Republicans on immigration. His policies are going to be popular. He's going to come in and he's going to solve it. And more. So it will force the Democrats. Here's your political angle. It will force the Democrats to take the insane position of crime is good. Just like Republicans force Democrats to take the position that transgender whatevers in bathrooms, boys and girls bathrooms, like in Loudoun County, Virginia. We're going to talk about that with daily signals. Tyler o' Neill tomorrow forced them to advocate for dudes in girls restrooms even after women are sexually assaulted by the Trans people force them to stand behind big pharma. Even after it was proven that certain vaccines, MRNA sequence injections regarding the COVID treatments cause things like myocarditis, myo myocarditis, heart issues. Even after the border was shut and all that was being rounded up were dudes like Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the alleged human trafficker which would beat his wife with his MS.13 tattooed knuckles, the Democrats were forced to defend it. It's gonna be the exact same thing with crime. And by the way, lest you think that it is just in Washington, D.C. in other places in the country, you have similar calls from the citizens of those cities for the Trump administration to roll in to bring order. And that brings us to Gavin Newsom and how the Democrats are responding. We gotta bring the radio crew back to talk about it. It's the Tony Kennett cast. Don't go anywhere. This is the Tony Kennett cast on 93 WYBC. Welcome back to the Tony Kennett cast. Here's the deal. Radio crew, you guys, at the end, I think 7, 55, 20 according to the eastern time clock, you guys have to head to commercial. My show is over. My many apologies for you, but we're going to continue on the live stream. It's a bonus tonus kind of night. We've got a ton to dig into. So when the show ends for you, I'm just going to kick it over, have Allison fade it out for y', all, head over to the live stream and join our excellent cruise on YouTube on X and rumble. Personal favorite being YouTube, because the chat there has a lot of great questions that we're going to answer tonight. We're going to tackle this right up front. There are other people from around the country who are now advocating not just your average run of the mill Republican. There are people from this broad group of inner city dwellers who are asking Trump to deploy the National Guards to their cities. I've said it before, I will say it again. Red state governors, grow a spine. Deploy the National Guard in your state to the blue cities who have abandoned their residents. Now, Governor Braun in Indiana, I am sitting here in Greenfield. I am asking you directly deploy the National Guard to downtown Indianapolis now. Now. And the state legislation, by the way, should pass a bill that can mean the state can get rid of Mayor Joe Hogstead and Ryan Mears while we're at it for dereliction of duty other states. Governor Abbott, you got issues down in Dallas and Austin. Send in the guard. Governor DeWine in Ohio, you got issues in Columbus, you got issues in Dayton, in Cleveland, Toledo. Send in the guard. Make it. Make governors like Andy Beshear of Kentucky. Make Kentucky voters see that a blue governor refuses to establish order in Louisville, that the deaths of innocent people at the hand of blue mayors and blue governors is, in fact, a dedicated decision that is an obvious political victory for Republicans going forward. But from Chicago, I do want to point out this particular clip. Hey, Trump. Trump, you need to bring the National Guards to Chicago, man. Nick, help me out here. I'm a colorblind individual. Sometimes I struggle in identifying someone. Does that look like a white woman wearing a visor, say, about 55, marching in Washington, D.C. i believe the term.
Producer Nick
To identify him would be a brother.
Tony Kennett
The man. The man be a little black here, doesn't he?
Producer Nick
It definitely looks like it.
Tony Kennett
And it doesn't look like he's putting on an accent like Jasmine Crockett, does it?
Producer Nick
I would say no.
Tony Kennett
Mm. This just looks like a normal dude going about his business. He's calling for Trump to deploy. Now, I was told by Brandon Johnson, and I do have this clip. We will play it in a minute, that, well, I mean, racially, Trump's going after the brown and the black people or whatever. You got kids killing kids, man. That's not good, man. Washington, D.C. is not much going on compared to Chicago, man. I'm running. It's a. Whoa. Happening right now in Chicago, man. Hmm. Now, Mayor Karen Bass of Los Angeles, when she's not taking private flights to Ghana, she says that Trump deploying the National Guard, that it's racist, he's targeting the black and the brown people or whatever.
Israeli Journalist
I'm very concerned about that. And not only that, I'm concerned about the way he is rolling that out.
Tony Kennett
In Washington, D.C. she's not concerned, you know, about the city that burnt down and the permits that she refuses to stamp or dead people, you know, again. Or the rocks thrown at her own police officers, you know, worried about those flights to and from Ghana, but she is concerned about how he's rolling out the national guard in D.C. which is.
Israeli Journalist
Essentially calling, essentially going after young black and brown youth in Washington, D.C. imposed.
Tony Kennett
So the white people are protesting, and the black and brown individuals in the cities are begging Trump to bring in the Guard because they're the ones that are often shot and carjacked. Oh, my God.
Israeli Journalist
Huh?
Tony Kennett
How about that? Just. Wow. And by the way, that is absolutely a prayer. Not taking the Lord's name in vain there. I really am shocked. I do declare my shock to the Lord often that These people exist doing.
Israeli Journalist
A curfew saying that if they violate the curfew, the parents could be charged $500.
Tony Kennett
You mean if you're a 14 year old and you're out at 2 in the morning, your parents should take better care of you?
Israeli Journalist
Whoa.
Producer Nick
Accountability is inherently racist.
Tony Kennett
Well, we all know, you know, down at the local YMCA, you know, at 2 in the morning the best Monopoly board tournaments and chess club activities for the young future doctors, lawyers and nurses of America. Yeah, that's where it's all going on for 14 year olds. Right? Of course. I mean, of course, you know, they're not out getting into trouble or beating women half to death in Washington D.C.
Israeli Journalist
Saying that the kids could be detained and arrested.
Tony Kennett
A kid might be detained and arrested for violating the law. You mean, you mean someone might be arrested for breaking the. My God, what's next? What's not letting people get beaten half to death? The horror.
Israeli Journalist
We've tried those policies before. They do not work and it's my understanding, sources.
Tony Kennett
Dude, trust me. Where has that been tried? It has not worked. Please do share. We've tried those policies before. They certainly haven't worked.
Producer Nick
Enforcing the law. What a horrible policy.
Tony Kennett
My gosh. Oh man. Next you're going to tell me that you know people, what, that air is actually toxic to humans? That water will kill you? Amazed. You can just say things.
Israeli Journalist
That crime was going down in Washington D.C. so what is the purpose of this?
Tony Kennett
Well, I mean, you know, because they were fudging the numbers. Incredible. Incredible. Another clip. Individuals begging the National Guard to be deployed.
Israeli Journalist
Well, they say Trump done clean through Washington D.C. so good you can eat a piece of pork chop off the ground.
Tony Kennett
Now hang on a second here. This doesn't look like a white woman clutching her pearls. This doesn't look like a New Zealander out there trying to. Trying to tell you how it's the pogroms all over again. Because we all know that experts on the Holocaust are clearly, you know, New Zealanders in Washington D.C. this looks like a, a again, just a black woman out here just saying that D.C. is now so clean you can eat a pork chop off the streets. Which by the way, after being in Israel for a week, a pork chop sounds freaking delicious. I need something to do that all around the world, huh?
Producer Nick
There is no preference or bias in the selection of these clips either. There are more of these.
Tony Kennett
He did, by the way. I. We are just pulling clip after clip after clip after clip after clip. Not pundits, not big media, influential people, people with, at the time they posted these 200, 300 followers that are just active on the social media sites in general. Now, by the way, Democrats and local officials is, according to Fox, pushed back against these claims, noting that the MPD and the U.S. attorney's office report violent crime is at a 30 year low down from 35% from 23 to 24. Now, FBI data for the same period, because you do have to report crime statistics to federal authorities, only shows a decrease of 9%, highlighting a substantial gap between local and federal statistics. Someone forgot to cook the books. I love this, by the way. I would have students that would cheat when I was a teacher and they would cheat, but they would forget how many times they needed to cheat on certain statistics. They wouldn't go through and change all of the hyperlinks or the verbiage or perhaps the page footer with someone else's name at the bottom of the page. And then I would get the information to be. How did you catch me? Yes. Well, because people who commit crimes are often idiots. Incredible. Incredible. Now, by the way, on Friday alone, according to the Department of Homeland Security, 52 people were arrested, including 28 illegal immigrants, while three guns were seized. Federal teams have also cleared 25 homeless encampments, which is not just Oliver Twist asking for gruel, by the way. I'm going to move on because what I have to say about those are not FCC appropriate. The type of debauchery that goes on in those homeless encampments in front of God and everybody is disgusting. AIDS spreading guaranteed. So officials said those removals were carried out without confrontations or arrests. Even the people committing the crime in dc, their heart's not in it. It's just not happening. And by the way, I do want to play this one particular clip. The nightlife in D.C. has been completely cleared. The traffic is down, which is again, just, just Chef's Chef's kiss. Want to see if we can get this played before we send the radio crew off to off to La La Land? Oh yeah. Clip four. That's one empty looking street. Love it. All right, radio crew, we'll catch you guys real soon. It's the Tony Kenneth cast. We're going to continue on the live stream. By the way, this particular white tent in front of Union Station, it's a bunch of very, very, very angry people who are protesting Trump for all four years or whatever. So it's a political protest. That's why it hasn't been removed. I have walked along, actually. If you go backwards from this spot, you basically get to The Heritage foundation and the Daily Signal offices as you continue along this street. Just for the Livestream crew here, over to the left, on the left side of the screen there, that's the Phoenix Park Hotel, which is a phenomenal place to stay, I have been told for the first time. It is quiet there now. You guys don't know how many times a night you were woken up by police and fire crew sirens there because people just get murdered. They have to go pick people up. So this, this crew, this tent right here is known for shouting a bunch of sexual and racial epithets because, you know, might as well let the Trump derangement syndrome eat your entire brain. This brings us to the last little bit here, the bonus tonus that I have been waiting to share with y'. All. The Democrats are losing their minds. The Texas Democrats, at long last in the Texas House, have returned home. They are now returning home. They escaped via private jet to New York and Illinois to do something. They were really excited about all the somethings that they were doing. Oh, they were fighting for Texas to keep them from the redistricting. Well, now they're returning home. Here they come. Huh? Where's all the applause looking with their fancy bags and their aviators. Just, you know, such bravery, such stunning, wow, incredible. And I should say, by the way, the. The complete left meltdown and awkward failure from all over the country gets over to the pundits as well. So on Jubilee, which is, I guess, a YouTube show in which 50 of one ideology face off against someone who disagrees with them, variations of that. The way the left is responding to the statistics shift on things like crime and immigration is precious. You can give everyone here, like a $50,000, especially people that are in the streets who are committing violent crimes consistently, a $50,000 check. It's not going to fix anything. It's not going to increase the median household income the next 10 years by 10% or 20%. For example, we have the Chinese Exclusion act of 1882, prevented Chinese people from getting citizenship and even entering the country. We discriminated against them and basically put them under apartheid, even here in the United States. Yet they have the highest median household income. How is that possible? How come they don't complain and feel entitled consistently to beg for reparations and beg for this when they are killing each other 90% of the time, which is the rate that black people kill each other, according to the FBI.
Israeli Journalist
Oh, young Matt.
Tony Kennett
Yet white people are the oppressors.
Israeli Journalist
I'm not sure where your education came from, but they look, lie.
Tony Kennett
Yeah, call. Call the young black man who just wrote off a bunch of statistics. Stupid. Good, good start. Keep it, keep it on, keep it on here.
Israeli Journalist
Lied to you.
Tony Kennett
Stats don't lie though.
Israeli Journalist
Statistics lie all the time. So let's start there. Particularly when the statistics are coming from these sources that gain from the statistics being shown a different way. So if you're going to start your argument on stats don't lie, you've already lost the argument. They lied. They lie all the time.
Tony Kennett
Again, if the statistics do involve people in China per capita who are again just making it perfectly clear here they are now, the higher income echelon. The idea that America is a horrible, racist, terrible place over its entire history and that right now it's the government doing this again. By the way, this is. Her name is Amanda Seals. I have met Amanda Seals before back in the education world. She gives a lot of. She gets a lot of education talks and equity talks. So your tax dollars have likely paid for her to speak at places before, after she gets bodied. Her only argument is, well, the numbers may be right, but they're also wrong because I don't like them. This is where we get into the difference between quantitative and qualitative reasoning and data in general. So for example, my big argument against Indianapolis Public Schools during the entire critical race theory argument was that you're suggesting that because there is a group of people who feel that people are racist doesn't make it true. What makes things true is quantitative data. How many racist acts are reported in the United States now as opposed to 10 years ago, 20 years ago, 30 years ago? Show me the quantitative data, the quantity of events that occur. Rather than you just saying, well I feel it happened. You have a lot of people who say they feel it happened, so therefore it did it. Great case in point here there is a. The Mandela effect is the idea that there are certain things that we believe from our childhood that were spelled a certain way that are no longer spelled a certain way.
Producer Nick
The masses misunderstanding of certain historical fact then makes it the mainstream.
Tony Kennett
Great example. The majority of people in this country believe that Chick fil a is spelled C H I C dash fil dash A. That is not correct. Chick fil a has. We have the original filings on the documentation. It is spelled C H I C K like chick chicken filet. Even if a lot of people feel oh, I really feel this is the case, that doesn't make it true. And right now the Democrats have lost the ground on quantitative data. They're also losing the ground on qualitative data by the polling people just do not care what the Democrats have to say anymore. So what is it the Democrats have left? They have Beto Rourke getting out there and saying, you know, bleepity bleep, bleep bleep bleep A bleeping. Here you go, Beto o'. Rourke. Last thing they got, man. They're going to curse it up. We are in a basketball game right now, if you'll excuse the metaphor. And it's fourth quarter and we're 13 down and they only need four lacrosse points to make it to 15, love. How's Wimbledon going to get the home run if the LA Lakers can't even face off? You know where the refs have left the arena? They've ref. The refs are gone, man. They've gone on Tinder dates with my wife. I know she sends me pictures of them. And the other side is just clobbering the out of us, just punching us in the face, kicking us in the nuts. And we're kind of throwing our hands up and we're asking the crowd, the people of America, hey, do you see what's going on here? No. You walk out there and go, I want dudes to show their nuts to children and Americans. Like, dude, what? What's wrong with you? And then the voters come up and kick you in the nuts and say, yeah, I don't want that around my kids and my family. And you're like, man, how is it? Don't they see this is fascism? This is unfair. This isn't the rules that we agreed to play by. Well, who cares about the rules right now? Punch back, kick back, dunk over their heads and win some power. Okay? So the argument that Beto is making is break the rules and do it anyway. Okie dokie. So the problem is that the left, when they say this, refuses to articulate which rules they suggest should be broken. Kathy OKL is an excellent example of this. So as we've played on the show before, Kathy Hochul got up in front of the American people and says Republicans are leading some type of legal insurrection. That was her argument. And this kind of legal insurrection, it's really, really bad. And it's not legal, but it's. It's legal. But it's legal because it's legal. Legal.
Israeli Journalist
This is how they're going to play the game. We're going to fight fire with fire. I didn't want to take on this fight. I've always followed the rules. Democrats always follow the rules. When they're willing to do this to subvert our democracy, shame on us if we don't stand.
Tony Kennett
So again, the idea that Hochul brings forward is that, well, we always play by the rules, but now we need to not play by the rules and we need to fight. We need to get out there, we need to stop them, shop them right then and there, and it, it just falls flat because consistently the left makes the dumbest arguments. And then they get out there when they don't get their way and they burn down Minneapolis. When they don't get their way, they get violent and that's not palatable. And when Trump is ready to, you know, swoop in and throw the National Guard down, it ain't gonna last. Producer Nick. What's up, bud?
Producer Nick
The let throughout all these videos for the whole show. It just goes to show, the left are so entrenched in their ideology that they try and reform reality itself. And then when they try and reinform reality, such as facts and statistics, and that fails, they try and appeal to the masses to force reality to conform. And when that fails, they literally turn violent and become pro crime.
Tony Kennett
It's really, really insane to see. By the way, if you've got any mail time questions right now, throw them in the live chat. I've got a couple more clips to get to and then I do want to chat to you person to person before we saddle off for the evening. By the way, I really wasn't joking when I said the left is still going all in on the trans and the dudes in skirts thing. Really? They're not. Minneapolis, for example, the Minnesota Vikings have two new dude cheerleaders. And the arrogance from these dudes is wild.
Israeli Journalist
If you don't like me, that's fine, but, you know, watch your mouth.
Tony Kennett
Now, I'm just gonna be honest with you because it's not just like they're just male tree leaders who are like, stabilizing the base, which is fine.
Producer Nick
A normalized thing that is all across the country.
Tony Kennett
Yep, totally fine. These are dudes who are dressing up in the skirts and like, putting on fake boobs. At least I sure hope that they're like external fake boobs and not like weird implant. Like the guy at the White House who was like, swinging his boobs around.
Producer Nick
And stealing people's luggage at airports.
Tony Kennett
Yeah, exactly. Please don't clip that of me doing the shimmy. I. Please don't. I know. Please don't. Oh, no. By the way, I should point out that the Nancy Pelosi crew, who is trying the same maneuver suggesting that the move now is to just, we gotta support all of our trans kids. It's just not gonna work with American people. Nancy Pelosi, how is your office responding.
Israeli Journalist
To the pauses in gender affirming care here in California?
Volodymyr Zelenskyy
Well, that is something that I'm working.
Israeli Journalist
For at the national level. And we have. How can I say, are hoping that we can have gender affirming here for our. For our trans kids.
Tony Kennett
All right, that's enough of that. Now, I do want to talk about one thing that bothered me earlier on in the show, and this was this particular question from a reporter who, God bless him, decided to make the entire first part of his question to Zielinski about the jacket, and then essentially took a good 30 seconds to a minute of the presser to have this back and forth about him covering suits and stuff here. That is again, first of all, Mr.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy
President Zelensky, you look fabulous in that suit. You look good.
Tony Kennett
I said the same. Same thing.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy
Yeah, that's the one that attacked you last time. See, I remember that. I apologize to you. You look wonderful. No, my first question for you, President Zelensky in the same suit. You see, I changed you out. Maybe yours is much better.
Tony Kennett
Oh, it just annoys me. It does. It annoys me. By the way, I want to make this rather clear. I have no issue with the criticism of Zelenskyy not wearing a suit and pointing out, oh, he's serious, he wore a suit this time. That's totally fine. I am very in favor of Zelensky taking it seriously, acting like an adult, and showing the kind of respect that is due of the office of the president when coming to the White House. Absolutely. But Brian Glenn here, making the. Trying to do the same suit joke twice and apparently being dunked on by Zelensky for wearing the same suit as he was wearing the last time. I. My issue is that I just can't stand this from reporters in general. I can't stand it. When I was in Israel this last week, I had a couple of delegates that I was with who would take the entire first part of their question. I say first part because they would ramble. I would call it the paragraph and a half of butt kissing. They would get up in front of the crowd and we were talking to an IDF general. We're talking to a father who just lost his children. We talked to the parents in that Druze village where the missile struck the. From Hezbollah struck the soccer field, killing 12. We were at that site. We're talking to parents and Someone would raise their hand and they'd say, hi, first of all, I want to say how much I really like being here. And also thanks to the speaker of the nested for having us here. And also I'm really on your side and I think that everything is really bad and whatever. I hate that. I hate it so much. You are at least in a press gaggle. You are asking reporter like questions right now. Here, this, now this bonus tone of section. This is for all of the extra words here and there. This is where you do all of the expository address on what you like and what you don't like in the context and how you feel. Let a reporter later ask you that, let someone on Twitter, on Facebook, on Instagram, whatever, make the observation, hey, this is that guy who asked the suit question this time. Notice he didn't have to ask anything about the suit this time because he's focused on the issues at hand. There are things the American people, my audience specifically wants to know. One of the things that I got a question about when I went over to Israel was for the Israeli journalists. We sat down with two very important Israeli journalists over from Israel's Channel 12, which Channel 12 is kind of the main station network, kind of things like that over there. And of these particular various anchors, there were two that had covered a lot of the October 7th stuff and the Gaza war stuff. One of the questions that I had been asked is why if Israel is so concerned about the PR situation that the CNNs, the BBCs, the MSNBCs or the Ms. NOWS, okay, of the world that are stating false falsehoods, even for example, Sky TV out of Australia fired a pro Israeli anchor for going against later on disproved Hamas statistics from the Gaza Palestinian health organization. And the question that was asked for me to ask these particular anchors is why aren't you fighting back? Because it's a loaded battlefield. The issue that I got was the exact same for people who take forever to ask the question they took forever to answer me. These two Israeli journalists did not answer my question. And well, I'm going to air it for you here.
Israeli Journalist
Of the world, the country, the region and the profession.
Tony Kennett
Please. But specifically, though you've been in this position, you've been in this profession for 30 years with individuals. My name is Tony Yun and I'm with the Daily Signal out of Washington D.C. you've been in this profession for 30 years with people who are now calling you a liar and a foreign agent. On my media daily. It's not just saying Check again. You are in the media battle rant. So Al Q2 is the two premier Israeli journalists do get out battle with other people around the entire world who are calling you foreign agents and liars despite your professionalism. Is Chevy in enough when you're fighting with the entire cnn, MSNBC newsrooms. So I should, I should clarify real quick here. When I say is, is saying checking. Check again, enough. So right now with the Israeli PR strategy is whenever someone from cnn, BBC, Sky TV in Australia, various news platforms around the world, whenever they say Israel is doing super duper ultra genocide, the Israeli media responds with, if they address it at all by just saying check again. Check your data again. Which isn't cutting it. It's not cutting it. That's bad journalism. So that's, that's, that's what I mean by, by check again.
Israeli Journalist
I'm not fighting with the c, I'm not fighting with other media. I'm, I'm focused on doing my job and serving. I, I have the privilege and the application and it's, it, I, you know, it's terrible. I personally, I've been, it's.
Tony Kennett
Here we go. We're going to take a good three minutes to not answer the question.
Israeli Journalist
It's a nightmare. I don't sleep. Whatever. It's, it's crazy. But I feel that I have an obligation to do my job the best as I can in these troubled times for my country. I'm not worried about the other media.
Tony Kennett
I, they had just stated that they were worried about the other media. We had just talked about that. Professor Alan Dershowitz had just gone on a lecture about how Israel is concerned about losing the PR battle with other countries. For example, with France rights and with Canada and with New Zealand and with the UK suggesting they would recognize a Palestinian state in December directly rewarding Hamas because of accusations against Israel. She's like, well, I'm not fighting with anybody. I'll let her continue.
Israeli Journalist
I think it's important when, you know, on a political diplomatic analyst so I can understand the importance of it and the possibility of our country to prevail they, this crisis. But personally I'm not waking up trying to battle what. And I'm not a media critic. I'm not going to be a media critic. I'm a journalist and my hands are full now working here and I want to make sure that the, the public. We grew up together. We started, we were. So I served when I was 24. Okay. So I've been there with.
Tony Kennett
All right. She goes on for another Two and a half minutes and I'm, I'm, I, I can't, I really can't stand it any longer. I'll post the flip clip at a later time. So the issue that I have with journalism right now as a whole on the right and on the left, mostly on the left, some of it on the right. Again, we already talked about Brian's question earlier. There is such a desire to hear oneself talk. I have a talk show, a pundit show, where I go through the news and my analysis of it during the day. I, when I am a national, I am also my official title is the national correspondent for the Daily Signal. Signal. It is my job during the day to go on various networks, on the left and on the right, in panels and alone and give answers about what is going on from my perspective as the national correspondent for the news commentary and analysis outlet the Daily Signal. And I do not go look up clips. Feel more than feel free. When I do a weekly segment on NTD tomorrow, I will go through the segment. When they ask a question, I answer it. That's it. I don't say, well, I'm actually very interested in this for a long while. Oh, well, I'm always. That's what this is for. This right here, this bonus tone is section. You can leave right now and I wish you a phenomenal evening and hope you join us again tomorrow. That's it. I mean, I also think you should, you know, like, and subscribe to help us, you know, get the channel up there. But there's nothing else obligating you. When you were in front of the entire country and you are asking questions, you are making it clear that you have the news, the analysis, the take that is crucial for your audience to learn. What the Israeli journalists failed to answer was whether or not they had a plan for combating the massive misinformation campaign in Israel, not just from the left, but also from the right. Tucker Carlson going out in front of the country and saying, well, I mean, actually, I mean, there's like, you know, like segregation or something or whatever, which is not true. I was in the kibbutzim of Israel, all of the different villages. I was treated with reverence and respect the entire time. As a Christian, I was openly wearing the cross the whole time I was there. I was wearing the American flag the entire time I was there. Never experienced a touch of discrimination. People, those of you listening to the show, you poured in not just to me, but to like Reagan Reese, the Daily Caller. You emailed in and said, hey, Let Tony know. My kids lived there for years. No segregation whatsoever. Christians are treated totally fine. Just don't take the elevator on the Sabbath because they have elevators that, like, stop every floor. And if you get in there and press buttons, then you can end up getting other Jewish people who are Orthodox in the elevator with you. You can send them to the fifth floor when they wanted to get off at the second. Like, that's the only thing that you don't do. And also, you don't ask restaurants that are kosher to do not kosher things. But that's usually more found in kind of like Islamic Jewish relations in Israel. That kind of misinformation. Along with the oh, genocide. I saw the Aatrux. I watched the UN who told me I was not allowed to take photos. The same UN who told me I was not allowed to take photos of various checkpoints. I watched the aid that they refused to allow in because Israel wouldn't let Hamas hijack the trucks. I looked at it in person, in front of God and everybody, even snapping photos when I wasn't supposed to. And other journalists out there are wasting the time of God and everybody with a bunch of silly, superfluous question and answer time where you spend the entire time, by the way, here. The. Here's the photo of the outpost that I really wasn't supposed to. Supposed to take.
Producer Nick
And also not show the Internet.
Tony Kennett
Well, you know, so, yeah, and definitely not show the Internet because we all know the UN is doing such an amazing job on the border of Lebanon and Syria. Mm. I've got so many things to discuss with that. We've got so many photos to air. And I do have a photo of the guy who was wearing two left boots, by the way. So to make this particularly clear. Sorry, I know there was a bit of a rant here that was that it annoyed me. There is a succinct nature of the job that is required when you are in certain positions. Again, come on the show. We're more than happy to host you, whoever you may be, and argue and chat and go off 15, 20 minutes, that's fine. But when you are asking questions in a press gaggle, dude, get to the bleeping point.
Producer Nick
I think the difference is a little bit more insidious as well. With this segment, the bonus Tonus segment, it's still in the intention of providing value to our viewers in turn with those questions of the rambling answers. It is to dissuade you from continuing that line of questioning. It is to give you the runaround so that the spirit of the question is lost within the answer.
Tony Kennett
The question that I really wanted to ask the Israeli government that no, that people really wouldn't get around because both my colleagues asked a bunch of stupid questions, by the way, even from organizations that we partner with. I'm going to leave their names off of this out of respect because we. You've seen their logos on the screen a lot. There were individuals who spent so much time asking the exact same question to every Israeli official with a paragraph and a half of, oh, I love Israel so much. It's so great. It's so wonderful. I love you all here. Like, dude, we get it. You're with a conservative delegation. No freaking kidding. You love Israel. You don't have to tell everybody, dude. Like, they're not going to give you a golden yarmulke. Like, just ask the question. Anywho, what I wanted to ask, and I was not able to, I tried, was if Israel knows that there are news outlets and organizations like Al Jazeera, for example, who they kicked, who are knowingly, maliciously falsifying the information, then why does Israel continue to give statements and interviews to the New York Times and to the Washington Post and to BBC and to CNN and MSNBC or Ms. Now or whatever. Why. Why not give them to us? And I'm happy to report we will be doing some exclusive interviews with people from all of the sides of it, whether I like it or not. Because I do want, and I guarantee you, when I ask those questions, I will try to keep them as succinct as possible. Because I want to know why, 20 years from now, when those two journalists that were on that clip are in a room with the rest of the journalists at some kind of a journalist conference, do you think they're going to treat the CNN journalists with disregard and they're going to ignore them and treat them with scorn like they deserve for the kind of stuff they're doing now. No, they're going to let bygones be bygones and they're going to kiss and schmooze and love, just like in Congress, behind closed doors. Either be honest or don't be. Help out your allies or don't. But don't single, don't simultaneously demand all of the help while then turning around and trying to pretend that you haven't done any such way whatsoever. That's my. That's my only major criticism. So that said, I do want to get to just a few questions of mail time here. So first of all, from David Maiskura, I said, tony, great to see you live again. Thanks, man. As you can see, it being 8:22, I have. I have definitely taken liberty on this bonus. Tonus question. Why can illegal aliens buy property in this country? Is not our idea to get rid of them. Federally, illegal aliens cannot buy land in this country. In fact, according to every state statute that I'm aware of, you cannot buy land in this country unless you have a Social Security number, which is supposed to be just for citizens. Technically, citizens should only be allowed to own land. But we've never needed specific laws to say, hey, only citizens can own land. Because up until then, all of the things that went with making a major purchase like that, reporting it to the irs, having a Social Security number, having certain state property tax, registration, having a state id, all of those things. Well, you used to have to be a citizen to get all of those. So it's one of those things that we've never really had. You didn't need a law for a lot of things for a while because certain institutional respect would, you know, like, it's not illegal for me to get out in front of the public and on the interstate above it, you know, flash a bunch of multicolored lights specifically. There are laws, however, that state you're not allowed to distract drivers on interstates, though, if that makes any sense at all. Usually we don't have very specific laws because it was just assumed. Yeah, that's kind of along what would make a lot of sense here. This is from Evergreen Kaffir. What was my favorite thing about Israel? And then from Andrew Mayo. When do we get a rundown of your time in Israel? And from Jacob Helms, pictures of Gaza. And from Delphix. Wow. A lot of Israel questions. I'm flattered. What was Tony's favorite souvenir from Israel? So my favorite souvenir from Israel, probably one of. One of two things I did. Although I am a Baptist, I did get a rosary from outside the church of. To Catholics, it's called the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. To Protestants, it's the Church of the Resurrection. It's where Golgotha is. Now, the Catholics argue it is also where the tomb that Christ rose from is. I don't think that's where it is. A lot of Protestants believe that it's in the Garden Tomb, and that's in the Muslim quarter, where a bunch of Muslims guard it and, like, don't really like letting Christians near it at all, which makes me incredibly suspicious. But that was my favorite Souvenir. Other than that we went on Mount Was right near the border with Lebanon and Syria. I'm so bad with the names there, but I'll look it up just for you real quick. I have a screenshot of it. Mount Merome Golan. I think I'm probably dead wrong about that. If you go to my Instagram, which is Tonus mcfly T O N U S M C F L Y you'll see I do a video said. Ever wonder why they call Golan Heights what it is? It's because of the heights that's from that top of that mountain. And the reason the Golan Heights are partly the way they are is because it. 3,000 years ago it was an active volcano site. 3,000 years ago people were living there, which is wild. And there are these basalt rocks all over the place. That's a souvenir that I loved. Someone from the Ministry of Foreign affairs gave me two things. Number one, a license plate which is for Castle Point Barbershop in Newcastle, Indiana. They have a bunch of license plates on the wall. I promised them a license plate, so I have that license plate for them. And then also the Ministry of Foreign affairs gave me a small spoon because I thought it was cool. And, you know, I don't know, it was very nice of them to. To give me a little spoon with the Israeli government seal on.
Producer Nick
Spoons.
Tony Kennett
Yeah, I don't know. I mean, I'm not like a spoon collector, but I thought it was neat. So those are some of the, you know, kind of the things that I really enjoyed as a. For a rundown of my time in Israel, I might give something like that in the Discord. So in the link of the YouTube or the rumble shows, if you go down, there's a link to Discord. It's kind of a group chat for those who watch the show regularly. And that is where I have shared a ton of pictures from Gaza. I cannot share some things from Gaza for genuine military security reasons. Not just because of the idf, but because of. Well, I can't go into any more detail on that particular matter, but. But I do have a lot of photos that are also in the Discord made a channel just for sharing some of those photos.
Producer Nick
What producer Nick the advanced military techniques, such as wearing two left boots.
Tony Kennett
Yeah, that was at the UN border near Lebanon. That was unifil. But the. There weren't any particular. The UN checkpoint near Gaza that we were able to see near. Near one of the kibbutz. We'll have to talk about that. A little bit, a little bit later. So. So anyway, at least as far as those things are concerned. I don't know, I just kind of think that they're some of my favorite stuff from Israel. My favorite things. All in all, I mean, saying it to King David was really excellent. Where a lot of the, you know, major incredible diplomats have stayed. The city of Jerusalem, the old city is so small. It's so small. Smaller than like a standard city block. You'd be surprised. I mean, it's the old city. You're thinking like, you see the Jewish quarter, the Muslim quarter, the Christian quarter, the Armenian quarter. You're thinking like huge sprawled out areas. No, it's very, very, very small. You could run, first of all, you could walk from. Very, very, very safe in Jerusalem because there's IDF on every corner. If you want to see what that's like in the country, go to downtown Washington, D.C. amazing. Does it does in fact work, despite what people are saying, it doesn't work anywhere.
Producer Nick
Call that.
Tony Kennett
Yeah, little, little circle. Little circle there. So those things all said from Sam. What the F is going on here? Well, my man, this is Bonus Tonus. This is usually when I don't fit the rest of the show into the broadcast hour that the radio and TV clocks are on. So I share some of the rest of the clips we didn't get sent in and kind of whatever else. The Bonus Tonus, my ex name on Twitter X is the Tonus. T H E T O N U S Tonus comes from a nickname I was given in high school that stuck and someone on the WIBC side of things thought it would be clever to call it Bonus Tonus. So that's. That's what the, as you said, the F is is going on here.
Producer Nick
Just a bit more favorable for the true fans here.
Tony Kennett
Whoa. I don't know. Cafe Emo xx said it, but yeah. My rosary is the Jerusalem cross in olive tree wood. That is what it is. It's olive tree beads with a Jerusalem cross, which is the. The middle cross with four small crosses. You know, the thing that Pete Hegseth was accused of having a tattoo of was white supremacy or whatever. Would you have producer Nick.
Producer Nick
Oh, my comment had just been about how bonus tonus was really for the benefit of the true fans getting to, you know, converse a bit with us.
Tony Kennett
Yeah. So that stuff aside, one other, one other final thing here. Oh, producer Daniel claims that it was him. He came up with Bonus Tonus, not WIBC that we have to give him. Give him a little bit of a.
Producer Nick
Who came up with Boney? Tony.
Tony Kennett
All right, I'm. We're done. We're done with that. So I think that that is. Oh, from Lori Wilson. What did happen with Tucker? I'll answer that one here real, real quick. So, Tucker Carlson, I have a lot of respect for a lot of the work that he used to do. He kept an eye on me after the IPS firing, and I will always be thankful for that from him. Recently, it I'm not going to speculate as to what the reason has been, but a lot of his reporting and interviews have gone very, very, very off the rails. And I don't mean this in a mean way. I do scorn any kind of horrible reporting. So like the laughter imitation from earlier, it's just getting really weird. And I do find that abhorrent reporting in journalism. I don't know what's going on. It is heartbreaking to see, you know, seeing someone that you used to really admire for their work just start doing a bunch of stuff that's, that's not useful and is very questionable, especially with some of the guys that he's brought on as, as history experts. But that's kind of my, my best guess. I'm not going to speculate on what happened. And all I can say is that hope he comes back from it. I do. I think that he has a lot of natural, charismatic talent and a great eye for interviewing in a way that's very conversational. And I really hope that whatever's got a hold of him, whether it's spiritual, whether it's personal, whatever it is, hope he throws it away and comes back. Because again, I do think he's really hilarious. And it's, I think it's a shame.
Producer Nick
This is coming from two people who still consume his content.
Tony Kennett
Yeah, yeah. We still at. Nancy Tharp says Tucker was bashing boomers occasionally. I also do criticize groups by, by generations, but I try not to do that a lot because we have a lot of phenomenal boomers and Gen X who no one ever remembers that Gen X exists that do tune into this show. All right, over half an hour of bonus tonus is quite a bit.
Producer Nick
But hey, what a good way to celebrate coming back.
Tony Kennett
What a good way to celebrate getting back. I have to hop off so I can go do the Top news in 10 for tomorrow morning. You guys have a wonderful, wonderful evening. It's been a joy to be with you. This is the Tony Kennett cast here on the Daily Signal, nationally syndicated, first on 93 WIBC. Join our Discord link. Trust me, you'll enjoy it. Maybe you won't. Who knows? Take care.
Date: August 19, 2025
Host: Tony Kinnett | The Daily Signal
Duration: Approx. 1hr 25min
In this episode, Tony Kinnett returns from a reporting trip to Europe and Israel to break down a major week in US and international politics. The episode centers on the evolving Ukraine-Russia peace negotiations, President Trump’s high-profile meetings with world leaders, the European response, domestic crime policy in Washington, D.C., and the broader meltdown among Democrats as public opinion—and polling—shifts on key policy issues.
Tony delivers commentary from a conservative, middle-American perspective, blending news analysis, personal experience, and sharp media criticism. There are notable critiques of media practices, politician rhetoric, and "elite" detachment from everyday concerns.
Back from Europe: Tony recounts meetings in DC, where European leaders gather with Trump to discuss a possible settlement on the Ukraine war. President Zelenskyy, now clad in a suit, signals openness to ending the war, even if it means territorial concessions (00:36).
Media Questioning Style: Tony criticizes fluff and self-indulgent questions in international press conferences. Instead, he prefers direct questioning that maximizes limited time with key figures (03:09).
Hard Questions for Zelenskyy: FOX’s Peter Doocy asks Zelenskyy if he’s willing to continue sending troops to die, or negotiate peace now—an example of the strong questioning Tony advocates (01:49).
What Does Ukraine Want? When asked whether Ukraine’s seeking NATO-like protection, Zelenskyy essentially replies, "everything," indicating a strategic vagueness in diplomatic talks (05:02–05:39).
Polling Shift: Ukrainians’ attitudes about the war have dramatically shifted from a “fight until victory” stance to “negotiate peace as soon as possible” (from 73% to 24%, and vice versa, per CNN's Harry Enten, 07:40–08:44).
Emerging Peace Plan: Reports indicate a major deal in the works:
Trump’s Power Play: Description of B2 bombers and fighter jets flying during Putin’s visit—a symbol of assertive US strength.
European "Trump Fiesta": European leaders warmly greet Trump, with calls for Nobel Peace Prize consideration for his peacemaking efforts.
Comparisons to Past Presidents: Tony argues that Obama’s Nobel Prize was undeserved, contrasting it to Trump’s active role in brokering multiple peace deals.
European and US Elites: Tony satirizes European diplomatic airs and media hysteria over Trump’s straightforward, brash style.
Long-winded Politicians and Journalists: Criticism of politicians (especially Hillary Clinton, 20:01) and reporters for unnecessarily verbose answers that waste press time.
Rubio on Media Narratives: Marco Rubio debunks a narrative that Europeans are in DC to “protect” Zelenskyy from Trump bullying, instead insisting they're there as negotiation partners.
Press as Performers: Tony derides media for self-promotion, missing the substance in fast-moving, consequential events.
D.C. Federalization: Trump’s move to federalize D.C. police and send in the Guard is vindicated by whistleblower reports of underreported crime stats. Polling and man-on-the-street interviews show actual D.C. residents support the crackdown, while opposition comes from suburban activists and media figures.
Demographics of Protest: The visible protestors against National Guard presence are overwhelmingly white, while Black and Latino residents express open support for restoring order (34:11–37:29).
Calls For National Guard Elsewhere: Increasing requests from Chicago, Los Angeles, and other blue-led cities for National Guard/federal action to tackle crime.
Democrat “Return Home in Shame”: Texas Democrats come back after absconding to D.C. during legislative fights, but find no fanfare.
Statistical Reality vs. Narrative: Tony highlights moments where Democratic pundits cannot effectively respond to data (crime rates, immigrant success), falling back on emotional arguments and denying statistics (54:13–56:15).
Progressive Rhetoric: Excerpts from Beto O’Rourke and Kathy Hochul illustrate “by any means necessary” desperation and struggles to articulate a clear platform beyond opposition.
Identity Politics Exhaustion: Overextension of issues like trans cheerleaders or gender-affirming care is seen as politically unhelpful and disconnected from mainstream sentiment.
Journalistic Rambling: Tony’s frustrations—during both DC and recent Israel trip—about reporters asking self-indulgent, drawn-out questions at the expense of meaningful answers.
Journalists Avoiding Accountability: Candid moment with Israeli Channel 12 journalists who, pressed on the failure of Israel’s PR response, evade direct answers, focusing instead on professional pride or victimhood.
The episode is a blend of hard-hitting conservative analysis, anecdotal reporting, and biting satire, focused on high-stakes foreign policy and domestic crises. Tony Kinnett urges directness in public discourse and journalism, warns against elite and media disconnect, and highlights data-driven turns in public sentiment that undercut progressive narratives.
The episode is particularly valuable for listeners wanting a granular sense of current events, shifting political winds in the US and Europe, and the mood among conservative-leaning commentators as 2026 approaches.
