State records across the nation now reveal hundreds of fake daycare sites used to funnel state and federal money, nonprofit grants, and possibly human trafficking operations. Far too many are linked to the Somali migrant community.

Tony Kennett, host of the Tony Kennett cast. Let's get down to business. You're listening to the Tony Kennett cast on 93 WIBC on CYTV, here on the Daily Signal. Good evening and welcome to the Tony Kennett cast here on the Daily Signal, nationally syndicated first on 93 WIBC. It really is unfortunate to share with all of you that the national Somali migrant fraud epidemic is getting worse. But what is perhaps more embarrassing is the lack of skill in the COVID up. I don't know if any of you out there have ever been parents. And when your children have done something especially stupid, they've come up with the most ridiculous answers, excuses, reasons possible for doing what it is that they did. Or they try to gaslight you and explain that maybe a bird flew in and knocked over the precious vase. And then on the way out it wrote mom is mean on the walls. And I could never ever seen a bird do that before. That's essentially the level of reason that is going into the fraud cover up in Minneapolis. So as you will recall, the excellent journalism that showed several Milwaukee, or excuse me, not Milwaukee, Minneapolis daycare centers or after school childcare centers called things like the Quality Luring center, taking millions of federal tax dollars after one of those particular businesses, the Quality Luring center, specifically by Nick Shirley, was uploaded. Now, the son of the owner of the business, not the owner, but the son of the owner, has now come out to defend his family's good business in name. And this is one of the most bizarre things I have seen. Again, normally you would hire a lawyer and the lawyer would say shut up, don't talk to anybody. But he's getting out there and just saying that all of the neighbors who said that there were no children in the building, no one had ever seen anyone set foot in this building. It was all boarded up, the windows were blacked out. Various sources said various things we're going to get into, that's all a lie. Kids are here all the time. You just don't see them because, well, Nick Shirley showed up outside of operating hours at 10am on a Tuesday. Here you go.
D
The YouTuber that was making the claims you were here earlier today. I came here at one o'.
B
Clock.
D
You are here. Where are you now? You claim we're closed. You claim we're a fry.
A
So he starts out by saying, where are you, Nick? Where are you? He's like, you're, hey, you said that you Were doing all of these things. You said that we were closed. Now I'm here. Where are you? Well, I mean, he did the report. Now I do want to mention, by the way, now the quality luring center sign above his head is now being fixed. So again, I really do love the. The issue is now being corrected. Because God forbid that we actually do get to point out that maybe those who can't spell the word learning but probably shouldn't be in charge of child education, but I'll allow him to continue. So he begins with a little bit of tough guying. Where are you now, bro? Like, like come over here and say that to my face.
D
Why not? Why are you not here right now? It's like you're trying to put out a certain message about a certain group. I'm not going to make that claim.
A
I don't. There's the victim card, there's the race card. You're trying to demonize a group that seems to be at the core of every single one of these fraudulent activities.
D
Make that claim without me knowing him personally. But that's what it seems like he's doing from his front. Where are you right now? He was here earlier. He was recording us. We had no issue with it. We told him, hey, just get off our property. You can record. No, he's not here. He came outside of those hours and then claimed, hey, they're closed and they're still making money. They're using taxpayer money to work. And it's like you don't come outside of. Outside, outside of operational hours and then say they're using taxpayer money. That was completely false. As you can see, we're open Mondays.
A
Through Thursdays, 2 to 10pm2 to 10pm so he. So first of all, according to the actual licensure website information, the business was not open from 2 to 10. It was, it was only open until 5. So essentially there's this period of operational time in which the business was open for like two hours, maybe three hours because you have to include transportation time in the operating hours and all this other nonsense. There have literally been articles thrown out from everywhere on these small left wing local outlet publications making every excuse on planet Earth for why this totally is a legitimate business. And again, all of the neighbors have made it clear. Well, I shouldn't say all. Many of the neighbors have made it clear that they've never seen any children there before, except for one lady who told the Department of Homeland Security that she was off yesterday. So she has no idea if anyone has ever been there. Yes, again, very quality cover up stuff. Oh, I'm actually blind in both eyes and I'm mute. My ears and my tongue is deaf and I'm wearing a towel, so I can't hear you. Incredible level of intelligence from those who are caught rather red handed in this particular instance. But don't let him fool you here. He says later on in the video, quote, we've been open for eight and a half years. Never once have we closed, end quote. His words, we've been open eight and a half years, never once have we closed. But yesterday, the New York Post obtained a video of all of these children being bused into the building for the first time. And you can see on the video is there, is there, is there? Well, you can see somebody you know being cussed at. But these children who are all being brought in appear to never have been at this building before. Look how awkwardly they approach the entrance, as though. Yes, they also understand it is very ominous warehouse style daycare facility going on here. Ignore the awkward dude yelling at the guy recording and screaming obscenities. No, it's a video. I just want to know, what's your response? Huh? Kid doesn't even know whether it's a push or pull. What's your response to the allegations? Is there fraud going on here? And so all of these kids magically showed up yesterday. Again, all that community support. Again, no one, again, very few if any, that we've seen so far actually coming forward and saying, hey, I suspect fraudulent activity. Very quick to dive in and say, well, actually, I mean, when you think about it, we need to get everyone in right here, right now. There's a little bit more of an issue, however, than just this, you know, clip. According to Minnesota Department of Children Commissioner Tiki Brown, she claimed that the Quality Luring center closed down early last week. Is there.
E
We are aware of a video that's being circulated that has gained local and national attention about child care centers in Minnesota. While we have questions about some of the methods that were used in the video, we do take the concerns that the video raises about fraud very seriously.
A
Ah, yes. So we don't like the independent journalist who did the work exposing this, but you know, we really take these claims very seriously. She goes on to say, they shut the business down at the beginning of last week. Why? Oh, because there were like space violations maybe. Maybe it wasn't up to code.
E
Each of the facilities mentioned in the video has been visited at least once in the last six months as part of our typical licensing process.
A
She doesn't mention that the Quality Luring center had over 80 violations and was supposedly open or closed or closed last July or actually closed last week or is totally open.
E
And in fact, our staff are out in the community today to visit each of these sites again so that we can look into the concerns that were raised in the video.
A
Again, incredible stuff here. They're, they're backtracking as hard as they can. So somebody's lying here. In case you haven't put two and two together yet, I know that you have put two and two together, but just in case anyone from, you know, the Minneapolis City Council is watching and you're not used to putting two and two together, someone's lying here. You can't simultaneously have been open for eight and a half years and then have all of the state records show that you've been open and closed more times than a fireworks store along the side of the road in the Midwest. You don't get to pull that card. You don't get to magically turn into Cinderella's spirit Halloween into the magnificent, beautiful child luring center of education and wonderment. That doesn't fly here. And again, all of the neighbors have pointed out that either they were blind, deaf, dumb and probably laying crippled by the pool of siloam and therefore could see nothing at all, had no idea what was going on. Or neighbors that are like, yeah, I've never seen any kids here ever. In fact, honestly, we may not even have real children. These might all just be Somali midgets. I have no idea. We're gonna, we're gonna get an angry email saying, I really don't like how you described you use the word midgets. It's very, very unkind. Oh, well, what are you gonna do? By the way, just in case you're aware, there's now additional, there's now additional scorn being thrown at this incredible kind of spur of the moment busing in of Somali migrant children. But the thing is, it may not entirely be original. In fact, it has been done before. Radio crew, we're gonna send you guys over to the commercial break so I don't get an FCC fine. And live stream crew, we're gonna take a look at how the Somali migrant community's been on footage a lot, faking dropping their kids off at daycares. It's the Tony Kennett cast here on the Daily Signal. Now check this out. This is Fox 9. This is security camera footage from 2015 in which Somali parents are seen taking their kids to daycare who then checked the children into daycare and then take the kids away with them moments later. They're going to explain why here in the, in the video.
F
Order for the scheme to work, the daycare centers need to sign up low income families that qualify for child care assistance funding. These surveillance videos are from a case prosecuted by Hennepin County. They show parents checking their kids into a center only to leave with them a few minutes later. Sometimes no children would show up, but either way, the center would bill the state for a full day of child care. This video from that same case shows a man handing out envelopes of what are believed to be kickback payments to parents in on the fraud man.
A
How about that? That's back in 2015. Remember all of those nonsensical arguments that you heard right after we discovered the last case, or excuse me, the before the last case of Somali migrant fraud. And in case you're having trouble keeping track of which is before the last one, before we had the restaurant fraud, I'm saying back when we had the initial Medicare Medicaid fraud report back in November of the Somali migrant community, massive, massive fraud scale activities, you had outlets like the Minnesota Star Tribune saying things like, well, Donald Trump claims, he claims that, you know, these, these Minnesotan people, they lost billions to fraud. The evidence to date isn't even close. Says the fraud allegations have been used as a justification for federal immigration enforcement against Minnesota's Somali population. The way that Emmy Martin and Jeffrey Medroit paint this in the article, it's as though this is the very first time anyone's ever been accused of the Somali migrant community of anything. And though this hasn't been a consistent thorn in Minnesota for over a decade now, today they're singing a different tune. They're covering in a different manner. Here's what to know about Minnesota's fraud crisis for, for more than a decade. Wait a minute. Minnesota has grappled with a fraud crisis in its Medicaid programs. The Star Tribune covered it extensively and can guide you through the process. Well, that's interesting. We went really quickly from oh, there was no problem at all. And actually this is, you know, it's the first time anyone's ever been accused of. It actually has nothing to do with Somali migrants. The fraud just poofed magically into thin air to presto. Actually, we've been covering it all along and we're very important journalists. This is very bad. And I don't mean bad morally. Obviously this kind of lying is pathetic and awful morally, but this kind of dishonesty is embarrassing. It is the child with their hand caught in the cookie jar. And this brings us over to dear Governor Tim Walls. He also put out a brand new tweet today announcing that we're taking fraud seriously. He posts his own commentary, op ed the Minnesota Star Tribune and post screenshots of it. And then he does what he always does after a major fraud ring from Somali migrants that he actively ignored or suppressed for years. Once it's exposed to the public and people are mad about it, he says, my message remains clear. If you threaten everything that makes our state a great place to live by committing fraud in Minnesota, you will be caught and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. We are in the middle of the Tim Walls circle of Somalian fraud. Yet again, a Somali migrant fraud ring is discovered. Records show Tim Walls ignored the fraud for years. And then Tim Walls responds, hey, don't you commit fraud or be racist now, you hear? And then he ends up giving more money to the Somali migrant community. We'll be back in a second. Don't go anywhere. We gotta get the radio crew and then cover Ohio because it's even worse. It's the Tony Kinnid cast here on the Daily Signal. This is the Tony Kennett cast on 93 WYPC. Welcome back to the Tony Knitcast here on the Daily Signal, nationally syndicated, first on 93 WIBC. We'll get to the rest of the media nonsense about independent journalists and how angry the legacy media is at being embarrassed in a couple of minutes because the fraud situation in Minnesota is not just relegated to Minnesota. And while the Department of Health and Human Services has now reported, as of a couple of minutes before the show, quote, we have frozen all childcare payments to the state of Minnesota. Well, they might have to start ratcheting that up to a couple of other states, including Washington state, which we're going to get to with Cam Higby in a couple of minutes and Ohio. And to discuss that, we have on our very own Rebecca Downs from the Daily Signal. She's our Ohio correspondent. Rebecca, can you hear me out there? I believe you're right outside Columbus.
G
Yes, I'm right outside Columbus, about 15 minutes away. So right there.
A
So people have been looking through a lot of these migrant daycare facilities and they found all kinds of things. They have found vape shops, homes where there are supposed to be migrant daycare childcare centers. Give us kind of an outline. What are people finding and what are some of the discrepancies? Because it's looking pretty rough.
G
Sure. So there has been a video circulating on X of someone going to the 161 Child Care LLC, I believe it's supposed to be called. I had quite the time finding both that center and the address on Google. I recognized the street address, like that specific street right away. And when I went on Google or Google Maps or Yelp, it brought up a few different things. So it seems to be that it's in a, could be in a shopping center, which you know, does happen with, with daycare centers. I'm familiar with those daycare centers, but it was what we saw at a, you know, Minnesota. I am curious to know when the video was filmed because of course we want to make sure it wasn't filmed on a Saturday or Christmas Day, you know, when we would be normal for there to be no children there. But assuming it was filmed during business hours, it was very suspicious that there was no children present. There was one employee dressed in, you know, traditional Muslim garb.
A
Let's actually, let's actually play that video for those over on the air. I hadn't, I wanted to get some of the updates as quickly as we could. Here is the video of the individuals approaching one of the daycare centers supposedly in Columbus, Ohio today. Check it out.
G
Yeah.
A
Today I'm showing you 161 child care in Columbus, Ohio. And as you can see, it does not look like a child care center at all. It is locked, says it's open. There's a little desk right there. Now, now to be fair, here at the beginning, this one does look like a daycare center. So when you look at on the inside, you actually do see some nice posters up, kind of like a check in counter sort of a thing. I know that one. One commentator friend of mine from education days pointed out that all of the posters that are the same brand and look brand new and like just slapped up. And if you know anything about, you know, posters and things in daycare facilities, wall art does not last very long.
G
Exactly.
A
And the phone number, tell me about the phone number. Yeah, you called this place, I believe, right?
G
Yeah, I did, I did. I called a few minutes before six, you know, saying let me just give them, give them a chance, see if they pick up. This is the number that's listed on the official Ohio website where you look for child care. I myself have used that website and nobody picked up. And it went to a traditional voicemail. You know, this person is not available, please leave a message. And I thought, okay, maybe I called, you know, wanting to give them that of the doubt, maybe. I called, they were about to close. I went online and I checked on the official Ohio website and they are open 6am to 9pm I don't know.
A
Daycare centers that are 6am to 9pm wow. Usually you have to go to a place like right next to the horse tracks to get, you know, to get a daycare center like that. My gosh. Now, there are a couple of things here that I do want to point out just for the sake of being exceptionally fair. Aside from, I'm not joking, one of the facilities appearing to be behind barbed wire, which is freaking wild. This 161 Childcare LLC organization is apparently in the first year of its licensure.
G
Yeah.
A
I will note also on the door, it says all sales final. So I hope this is a. They haven't been able to get the sticker off of the business yet kind of thing, because otherwise an all sales final sticker. Little. Once you sell your kids, no backseats.
G
Yeah, that's. That's provisional and in quite a few ways.
A
I'm just. There's so much that's sketchy about this in the licensing data here, beside the fact that of course, the lady, you know, they show up. How do you enroll your children here? You can't do that.
G
Yeah.
A
So.
G
Wagging her finger at him.
A
Yeah. This is the real question I wanted to ask you here. There's a common thread in all of the independent journalists who have been approaching these facilities in Washington state, in Ohio, in Minnesota, in Wisconsin, in Michigan. So far, the one question everyone's been asking is, how do I enroll my child at this daycare center? And in the vast majority of these, what they get is a blank stare. And they're saying, well, I don't know. No one's ever asked to register a kiddie or before. This has never happened. It's like mattress firm. Like, no one's ever stopped to buy a mattress here before. Normally the parking lot's just empty. What in the world does that say about an organization? Is it just a new licensing thing or is this something a little more concerning?
G
I don't know. Because even if you give them the benefit of the doubt, it's very suspicious. You know, the child care centers, I know you call in, like I, you know, tried to call in, got nobody answering. You walk over there and come in person and they. And they sit down with you and they're very happy to give you your business. So it's very suspicious. Very suspicious at best.
A
So I want to ask you, obviously, yes.
G
Yeah.
A
It's not just you who is a little suspicious on the Ohio front. You just wrote an article, I believe, for the Daily Signal on some of the legislators that are calling for these investigations.
G
So today, State Representative Josh Williams, we got the exclusive on that. He is a Republican state legislator in the General Assembly. He sent over a letter. Now, I know what your listeners and viewers might be saying. Oh, an angry letter. But, guys, this is how the process has to start. He is demanding accountability. He acknowledges. He, he told me, quote, the process there for Medicaid in Ohio is prime for fraud. At least now people are waking up and demanding accountability. We have to get it done right if we want to get it done, is my thinking. So, yeah, I hear the grumbling with, oh, a letter. What's that going to do? But, you know, I'm hopeful it could produce results.
A
And I just want to make this explicitly clear. This is why we have you. This is why Rebecca Downs is on the Daily Signal team, our OHIO Correspondent Again, 20 minutes outside of Columbus. We'll be keeping in touch with you. Obviously, you know, the ICE situation there is a little intense, so thank you very much for what you're doing. And please don't leave your children at any barbed wire surrounded daycare facilities.
G
Yeah, not a good sign. Thank you so much, Tony.
A
Absolutely. All right, I want to talk very quickly before we send the radio crew over to commercial about the situation in Washington State. It's worse, of course, but I also want to call the Deputy Secretary of Heart of a Homeland. Excuse me, the Deputy Secretary of Health and Human Services. Sorry, a lot of H's. Jim o' Neill released a video, sent it over our way, announcing that the federal government has now frozen all childcare payments to the state of Minnesota. Want to roll that for the rest of you here over on the show.
H
Hello, I'm HHS Deputy Secretary Jim o'. Neill. I'm here with Assistant Secretary Alex Adams. Alex oversees the administration for Children and Families. Intrepid journalists have made shocking and credible allegations of extensive fraud in Minnesota's child care programs. We believe the state of Minnesota has allowed scammers and fake daycares to siphon millions of taxpayer dollars over the past decade.
C
My office, ACF, provides Minnesota $185 million in child care funds each year. That money should be helping 19,000American children, including toddlers and infants. Any dollar stolen by fraudsters is stolen from those children.
A
So I agree, obviously, if the, the law says this amount of money is to be given to the state of Minnesota for Children that are in certain kinds of childcare, then any money that is stolen is stolen from those children. If the the law says that these individuals are entitled to these federal funds, then that is the case. But I've got one cool question here before I send the radio crew out to commercial. Why are there people entitled to hundreds of millions of dollars? I'm sorry, when my wife has to take care of childcare, where's our federal money? How many Americans were unaware that they could just slap Uncle Sam on the behind and get millions of dollars for childcare? Forget the fact that you can open up a Somali luring center and rake in the millions. Apparently universal childcare is already here and the federal government's paying for it. It's not just a tax write off. He's saying we've frozen funds going. Why are federal funds going there? Radio crew will send you to the commercial. Before I bust a vessel, we're gonna continue on the live stream. It's the Tony Kinit cast. Okay, now that we've gotten past that, you know, again, it's not these two's fault. The Congress did allot that money. That would be your and my representatives and senators faults. Let them explain that the funds are being frozen.
C
Yesterday I spoke directly with the director of the Minnesota Childcare Services office. She could not tell me with confidence whether those allegations of fraud are isolated or whether there's fraud stretching statewide.
A
And that's mainly because she only spoke Somali. And I don't think he. No, I'm just kidding.
H
Today we have taken three direct actions against the blatant fraud that seems to be rampant in Minnesota. First, I have activated our Defend the spend system for all ACF childcare payments across America.
A
Correct. A system. I was going to come down hard and heavy if he would have said, we've activated this Defend the spend system just for Minnesota. Everywhere. I want to know where every dollar is going. We have all of these AI programs. We have all this computer software. But we had to get rid of Elon Musk because he pointed out that maybe we shouldn't have federal documents hidden down on an old pennsylv mine. Or that Pete Buttigieg screwed the pooch instead of, you know, updating the airline traffic control system software so it wasn't running on Windows 98 and some old Soviet Union duct tape. Gosh, what if we actually used our brains in running the government? Honestly, this is insane.
H
Starting today, we require a justification receipt or photo evidence before we make a payment.
A
Ah, just in time for AI to falsify photo evidence. Excellent.
H
Second, I have just signed and sent a demand letter to Governor Walz. I required a full 360 review of these centers. This includes attendance records, licenses, complaints, investigations and inspections.
A
That is correct. So that's the big thing that I want to give him praise for what you do to solve this. Because I, as you can probably tell, I'm a little salty with yet again the old, we're going to sign a letter, we're going to send people to talk to people. Maybe we'll even hold a committee. Mm, Vow, Vow. And that does a whole lot of nothing. And as the guys over on the Ruthless Variety program said quite expertly, I'm gonna be pretty upset if at the end of all of this, there are eight Somali migrants who are arrested. And that's the end. Justice has been served, because that will not have been justice served. That will not have been the matter solved. And we will be here yet again. The correct answer is to ensure that those who are actively contributing to this are held to standards, which means you have to give them expectations. You want any federal money for any program, period. Not just talking about HHS dollars, you want Department of Transportation dollars, you want the EPA dollars, you want any kind of federal money heading into Minnesota, you comply, or the gravy train stops now, period. And then force this to go to the Supreme Court. Because that's apparently the only way we can get things done. That's what you need to do. Say, okay, you either give me everything I want now, today, immediately, all documents forfeited to the federal government, the vans are outside, or all federal dollars stop, and we start putting up checkpoints at the border between Minnesota and other states. Those are the rules. And if they say no and some federal judge who looks like Rachel Maddow swoops in and says, well, actually, you can't do that, then you appeal it to the Supreme Court, and then you make it work. I mean, you have to actually get out there and go and do. At this point, we've done a year of the abiding by little federal judges here, there and everywhere and playing nice and rewording appeal processes do the job. And for those on the left who are currently tutting this and saying some extremely gross things, we're going to talk about that in a couple of minutes. With all of the children that are being deprived of, again, dollars that are meant for them because of these fraudulent activities, you would think the left would also be, you know, great society, social utopia up in arms about it, but absolutely not. And we do have to go over to some breaking news out of Iran. We're going to come back to the Washington state side of this. Don't go anywhere. It's the Tony Kid cast here on the Daily Signal. You're listening to the Tony Kenneth cast on 93 WIBC. Welcome back to the Tony Kenneth cast. It's good to be with you. We have some breaking news now out of Iran. There are now two different reports in a southern province and an eastern province of Iran. I'm not going to try to pronounce the names of the provinces in which the Iranian regime is testing ballistic missile launches. Here's for those who are watching, watching on the live stream or on our TV syndication partners, you can see the ballistic missile fired into the sky. This follows the president of the United States making it clear that if Iran and its mullah regime of hardcore Islamist terrorists continue to try revivifying their air force and their nuclear project, well, maybe we'll hit him again. Maybe we'll smack them with a missile. Here's Trump.
B
And speaking of Iran, I hope they're not trying to build up again because if they are, we're going to have no choice but very quickly to eradicate that build up. So I hope Iran is not trying to build up as I've been reading that they're building up weapons and other things. And if they are, they're not, they're not using the sites that we obliterated, but they're using possibly different sites. We know exactly where they're going.
A
I've noticed Iranian luring center doesn't look like a lot of luring going on to me. Maybe the US Air Force needs to drop on by for a little daycare.
B
What they're doing, and I hope they're not doing it because we don't want to waste the fuel on a B2. It's a 37 hour trip both ways. I don't want to waste a lot of fuel.
A
I mean, I would be perfectly fine with the United States just slapping a B2 local, you know, rapid response, you know, just so you can reach out and touch someone without the jet lag. Think of the pilots. Now there are, there are more serious things that are going on on the ground right now due to what appear to be economic constraints and political unrest that is exacerbated by the United States seizing oil tankers that were bound for Iran from Venezuela. Again, the Iranian oil industry is able to refine large amounts of crude oil. Venezuela is not. Venezuela pulls it out of the ground crude and Shocker. Socialists don't develop industry, so they have to outsource it. And outsource it. Indeed they have. They've outsourced it to Iran. Well, the President of the United States has decided that we're just going to refill the Strategic Petroleum Reserve by seizing oil tankers, which, by the way, is a good idea. That's, that's, that's, that's one of those really good ideas from the President of the United States. Uh, but again, due to the deteriorating political situation in Iran, which wasn't exactly in a firm place to begin with, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps has started responding to the mass protests which have broken out all across the country. Um, and I do mean all across the country. Um, essentially calling for an end of Sharia law, calling for all of these, these terror tactics of the regime to be ended, to be thrown down. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, the muscle of the Iranian terror regime, has declared a state of emergency and have begun shooting protesters. This is from yesterday. And then more today. You can also hear glass being broken. Now, there are reports of some individuals taking, quote, full control of the streets in the city of Fulashar, which is in the Isfahan province. Now, one of the things you'll notice in this clip, none of the individuals who are, quote, unquote, taking control of, of this square seem to have any kind of firearms, except maybe a sidearm wedged in the waistband or the back pocket. Usually it's rather useful to have weapons. I mean, you can rip them from the hands of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps. It's just a lot bloodier of a process. So right now, there is major unrest. The heir to the Kingdom of Persia is calling openly for revolt, calling for the political and security forces to stand down and side with the people. Things are a little spicy over in Iran. That's not even the craziest thing happening in the Middle east right now. Believe it or not, Saudi Arabia launched a series of strikes that included the United Arab Emirates smuggling arms to militias in Yemen. So the Saudi Arabian air force struck two targets at the Mukhala port. They struck both United Arab Emirates vessels and trucks. The Saudi Arabian government announced that these strikes were due to the amount of arms, munitions, logistical supplies that were being smuggled to Yemen, Sudan, Somalia. Oh, hey, Somalia. And Libya. So the Saudis released a statement today, according to the Ministry of Foreign affairs, regarding the sincere efforts exerted by the kingdom in cooperation with the sisterly United Arab Emirates to end and address the escalatory steps taken by the Southern Transitional Council in Haramut and the Mara governance. The Saudi Arabian foreign ministry said, I'm going to tell you a secret. Get out of Yemen, UAE and the arms that you're smuggling to Islamic terror regimes around the region in the world, or we'll do it for you. And so five hours after the statement, the United Arab Emirates announced, we are pulling out of Yemen of our own accord. Nothing like a little Soviet Union triumphal retreat. We're pulling out because we want to. George Bush on the aircraft carrier Mission accomplished. Excellent stuff. So things are a little bit spicy over in the Middle east, but they are not in dire straits. And the reason they're not in dire straits is because the president of the United States made it clear the United States is not going to tolerate radical Islamic activity doing whatever it wants in broad open daylight. You're not going to slaughter innocent Christians and Muslims in Nigeria. You're not going to slaughter women and children in Iran. You're not going to build nukes in Iran. You're not going to do it from the Hezbollah side of things or the Hamas side of things. You're not going to do this from the Yemeni Houthis and Al Shabaab in Somalia. We're not playing around with it. That is a peace through strength measure. That works in foreign policy. It absolutely needs to become the standard in domestic policy. The way that the United States Department of Justice functions right now needs to be in the manner that Tom Holman runs ice. It is absolutely that bad. The idea that we're allowing some pockets of blue to fester because, well, I mean, you know, they wanted it. No, absolutely not. Because I'm willing to wager that Minnesota, which has sat on a knife's edge politically for a couple of years now, if the Somali migrant community was heavily involved in Medicare fraud and Medicaid fraud and housing fraud and child care fraud and charity fraud and grant fraud, then don't you think that maybe there's a little bit of fraud that might have taken place in the election system? After all, the president made a lot of claims about Georgia that were just proven 100% accurate. How about that? Now I do want to point out one other little foreign policy update before we go back and cover the situation in Washington state, which is also getting a lot worse regarding some things found in Seattle, some of these daycare facilities. Yikes. The United States coast guard is as of this afternoon pursuing the Guyana flagged Iranian linked crude oil tanker known as the mt Bella one. It's currently sailing northwest through the northern Atlantic, possibly towards Iceland Or Greenland. Now, the reason that the Coast Guard is just following this Guiana flagged Iranian linked and therefore sanctioned crude oil tanker is that the crew appears to have recently painted the flag of the Russian Federation on the hull of the ship, claiming that, you know, oh, Vladimir Putin says you can't touch us. Nah, nah. And I, I don't think that's gonna work. I don't think that's going to work. Now, there are a lot of people on the way to online side of things who have whipped out the tinfoil and said that this is clearly Putin drawing a line in the sand and he's starting to do some saber rattling about nuclear strikes and, oh, everything is about to get really spicy. We're gonna talk about this in just a little bit. No, no, no, no. And it has to do with a little something on the shortwave radio side of things. That's right. We're going back to Cold War number stations. Boys and girls radio crew, we're going to send you over to the commercial. Try not to commit any fraud while we're gone on the live stream. We're going to be committing lots of fraud and we're going to show you how to do it. It's the Tony Kinnick cast here on the Daily Signal. All right, let's talk about Washington state and Seattle. Not to be confused with hell, which understandable mistake. Seattle Cam Higby has launched another investigative series, this time focusing with several other independent journalists and creators, kind of in the the James o' Keefe style of undercover investigation of luring some of these daycare centers into admitting fraudulent operation. Here's how that went. My decoy went up and she could hear people rustling around on the other side of the ring camera as if they were. For those who are listening and not watching, they're outside the Dagash family childcare listening to her but not responding.
I
Kristen Magnuson and I also went to this house right after you guys to see if we get the same response, and we sort of did. We saw the same thing. You know, the windows with vinyl covering, can't see inside. We ring the doorbell, but actually somebody responds to us. Hey, is this Dagash Family child care? No, it's not.
A
Oh, it's not? No. That's how legitimate businesses answer questions.
I
The Gosh family child care?
A
No.
I
Okay, is this a. What's the name of the child care here?
G
I don't know.
I
I ask, has this place ever been in child care? The woman says no, but obviously Washington state records tell a completely different story.
A
Yeah, this specific address. Address is locked into Washington state records as a daycare. Yeah, it's locked into like the Google paid for the business. Yep. Is this address and it's up to.
I
Date with licensing the numbers here.
E
Okay, so we just visited Dagash Family Child Care. This address was confirmed online. They get 23, $260 in October.
A
They have made 2, $210,000 just this year.
I
And how many kids again, is this place registered for?
A
Oh, that's the fun part. 3. Ah, yes, again, I'm a little bit salty because there are a lot of wonderful hard working women around the country who take care of their kids every single day. And for my family, the guy footing that bill is me. And then my wonderful and lovely and very gorgeous wife does the labor. So allow me to ask you very, very neatly and simply here, if for three registered children licensed for Dagash Family Childcare, when is Kiddit Childcare opening up? I mean, I'm just saying, if we're going to go ahead and get out some of the federal moolah here, then shouldn't we all get to share a little part of this? I mean, if you can't beat them, join them. I got a cardboard box. I'll write Somali Daycare Center. I'll spell it wrong too. It'll be great. The best thing that Americans are doing right now is looking through a lot of these records for themselves. They're not waiting for the influencers, they're not waiting for even some of the independent journalists. Instead, what we have are people who are sharing, hey, here's where you can look up businesses. Here's where you can look up the public record of licensing. And the left is losing their mind over it. They're freaking out, they're angry because when you look through some of these pieces of data, these databases, for the first time that many Americans have looked through these particular databases, you start to discover a lot of fraud that hasn't been hidden very well because it hasn't had to be. Hadn't, hadn't, didn't need to be hidden because people weren't looking. Now people are looking and they're discovering lots of it. The same kind that you were told wasn't there at all. And this is going to come into how some in the media are really starting to respond to this. In Washington, in Ohio, in Minnesota, in Michigan. And it all comes down to the senior legal affairs reporter at Politico. Don't miss it. It's the Tony Kinnit cast here on the Daily Signal. The TONY Kennett cast on 93 WIBC 867-530-998675 now I can't vouch for you dialing 867-530-9 near you and what will answer the phone, but it is interesting to note that you call a lot of these supposed daycare facilities during normal business hours and you either get the the number you have dialed is not available or an awkward like half voicemail tone by someone who doesn't want anything to be listed, doesn't want you to leave a message. That kind of stuff is suspicious. People around the country are looking into these various things and going to businesses. I'm going to let you in on a little secret. If you own a business and you have a license to operate said business, it must have what is called road frontage. If a piece of property is going to be zoned commercially in order to operate a business on site, unless it is an online exclusive entity. And then the legislation and the regulations are very different depending on the state that you're in. Thanks Joe Biden, believe it or not, with his credit card changing of how they do business in Delaware, which is another story for another time. The situation regarding business frontage in the United States. If you have a business, you need to be accessible. Someone needs to be able to show up to your door to inquire about the business, whether they're local city, state officials, whether they're those who are customers entertaining sales of the business. Necessary frontage is a very core part of especially things like child care facilities. And by the way, there's no law or regulation anywhere that says you can't go up to a child care facility. And people going up to childcare facilities is an essential part of what is called mandatory reporting. If you work in any business that involves kids and therefore licensure, all the way from cosmetology and kids showing up to your hair salon, all the way over to the medical and the education fields. If you suspect that a child is being abused or neglected, it is your responsibility in all 50 of these United States and Commonwealths. You are required to report it to your state's department of child services. You are required to do so. And the legacy media has completely thrown that out the window. And instead they've gone all in on the real problem. Here are these independent journalists walking around and looking stuff up. And it has led to the open, essentially incitement of violence against some of these independent journalists. Josh Gerstein is the senior legal affairs reporter at Politico. This is the man at Politico who is supposed to know more about legal affairs than anyone else. He sent out this tweet this this morning. At some point the amateur effort to knock on the doors of home daycares intersects with robust stand your ground laws. Excuse me, Sent this out at. Yes, Yesterday evening in case you, you're missing what it is that he's suggesting. There's. He says that the independent journalism of showing up and knocking on child care center doors, which by the way, you're supposed to have like lobbies to these buildings so that people who haven't registered their kids there yet can maybe come in and talk to individuals. That people showing up and asking questions might get shot because of stand your ground or castle laws. First of all, no, because Minnesota doesn't have a stand your ground law in the first place. So he's just wrong and stupid. But also he has no idea what stand your ground laws actually are. Stand your ground laws simply remove your requirement to retreat if there's an active threat in front of you. You can stand your ground when you are being threatened. Guys, knocking on a door, that's not threatening somebody. You can't blast people off of your porch during normal business hours who show up to a business. None of these people showed up at 2 in the morning and tried to break and enter into these places. And if they do, then they deserve to be shot. If you break and enter into a business or an organization, especially at night, in a manner that looks very suspicious and rather criminal activity, Lee, then yeah, you definitely deserve whatever the kitchen sink is that's thrown at you from a 12 gauge barrel. But in this case, no, that's not knocking on the door of a business, especially during business hours. No, I'm afraid not. Now he does try to clarify, he tries to walk back and says to observe that something is likely to happen or there's a serious risk of it happening, is not advocating for it happening, guys. Because people immediately jumped down his throat and said, wow, it sounds like you're inciting violence openly. And to be very clear, yeah, it does look like that when you were bringing up some random point. This is the classic Mark Kelly senator from Arizona thing. Hey, I just want to remind all of the troops in the Caribbean right now, you don't have to do anything you don't want to. If you as a enlisted seamen think that your officer is wrong, you don't have to do anything you don't want because it's, you think an order is unconstitutional. It's that same kind of nonsense. It's that same undermining that eventually leads to law enforcement or officials or journalists being shot. Why? Well, I saw it in a tweet, after all. I mean, it's not like we have footage of individuals following around law enforcement and blatantly obstructing justice. Why? Well, because they're, they're really, really angry and they were told that the federal agents are Gestapo or something like.
G
Oh.
A
Oh, oh, this is ICE in Minneapolis. And people are trying to impede ICE officers and screaming and yelling and throwing things at the ICE officers because they were told to in tweets just like those. Wow. What a surprise. What a genuine shocker. Incredible, incredible stuff. I'm. I really am thrilled. Now, I do want to get to some of the wider nonsense and silliness that is taken to social media about the supposed plans that Russia is preparing. I do want to point out one final thing here, at least on the broadcast radio air side of things, regarding the investigation of childcare facilities or any others. A few pro tips from someone who has done this kind of stuff in the education sphere. Number one, look up the business records. Look up the business records, ensuring that you have a full record of what it is that has been given grant money to where the address that's listed, the phone number that's listed. Those should be screenshotted, those should be kept record of. Because as we've already seen, There are some NGOs in Minnesota that are scrubbing data actively from their websites for those who have been given grants. And they're using the exact same logic that Brown University did during the investigation of the Brown University and MIT shooter. You need to keep records of things before you do anything else. Keep records of things and be very, very, very careful. That said, making accusations right up front. We'll talk about that a little bit more on the live stream. Radio crew will catch you later. It's the Tony Kinnid cast here on the Daily Signal. Sorry, I was running a little short on the radio broadcast side of things as far as going up to businesses and just, you know, pulling out your phone and recording. Shoving a phone in somebody's face is bound to make them a little bit salty right away and immediately think that whatever they are doing is about to be shown to the entire Internet, which, whether you're on the left or the right, is kind of a scary thing. So the idea that going up to a business and pointing your phone at someone's face and then they just say nothing to you is as though that's the Damning evidence. No, not necessarily walking into. You don't have a right to walk into a business and then stand there and go, you tell me what you are doing. They can then say, you need to leave or you're going to be trespassing. I have the right to serve who I do and don't want to and you're causing a disturbance and you're scaring away me best customers. So, like, get out. Yeah, they're in their right to do that. And keep in mind that after tweets that have been sent out by individuals on the left encouraging stand your ground and Castle doctrine misreads, you might find yourself in a kind of a rough situation that you really don't want to be in. And so in the matter of safety, collect all the information. You can report it on social media, you can send it our way. We'll try to investigate it as best we can. There have been a couple who have already done so and we have sent those over to some friends over in various FBI offices and some independent journalists that we know that are in the area or our Ohio correspondent in the case of Rebecca Downs. But, but beyond that, just, just be careful. I don't know. I really don't want to hear of anyone who listens or tunes into the show getting in a rough situation or God forbid, harassing someone who is operating a daycare. That is perfectly fine. Because as soon as the left gets one story and it's going to happen as soon as the left gets one story in which someone out there maybe with good intentions finds a legitimate daycare business and like kicks down the door to get in there and go, I'm trying to catch fraud. And then you have like a bunch of kids at nap time and that's why it's quiet. That's going to look really bad. And then the left will have their one example to say, well, every migrant daycare center is exactly like this good one that this white supremacist assaulted. And that's how they'll characterize it. Just so that, you know, as sure as you can, you know, as sure as Tim Walls is going to give more money to the migrant Somalian community and then he's going to ignore the next round of fraud that's going to be exposed in January or whatever, we'll be right back here again. Be rest assured, as soon as the left gets their one counterexample that will be plastered over everything. Right now the media is trying very desperately not to cover it and it's not working. So that aside, I do want to move to a couple of other interesting things from this evening before we wrap it up that are a little frustrating but definitely worth going over. So after the situation regarding Russia in which Putin, you know, theoretically has been calling all of these vessels in the north and Southern Atlantic as Russian protected vessels so that they can drop off their oil tankers in Iran, and when the United States continued sending the Coast Guard after them, then he started saber rattling about possible nuclear situations. Then in the Russo Ukrainian war, there's apparently some kind of attempted assassination plot or a potential coup plan that is kind of in the motion. And what spooked a lot of people online, way too many, is that a Russian shortwave radio station that broadcasts out of St. Petersburg. It's a UVB 76. It's known colloquially among shortwave fans as the buzzer. Those who really enjoy number stations, of which I am one, they're claiming that there's a lot of chaos in Russia right now because Swan Lake, Tchaikovsky, Swan Lake is playing on UVB 76. The buzzer. So you can hear cutting through at the moment, that that is what the buzzer normally sounds like. It broadcasts a tone to hold the channel open because occasionally there are Russian technicians that use the Russian code language known as monolithic. If you've ever seen Captain America Civil War, the code book that they are reading out of to wake up the Winter Soldier. Oh, sorry, that would be. No, no, that the Winter Soldier waking up via the Russian code book that is in. That is in Civil War. That code language that's supposed to be a mockery of monolith, where he says in Russian, like freight car, Anna 6 homecoming. And that like wakes up something. Monolith is just a Russian coded language so that they can communicate openly over the air using one time pads, which is a way to bypass encryption software. All of that said, the argument that's being made is that because there's an possible attempted coup, some kind of a coup or assassination attempt, that this doomsday radio station. It's not a doomsday radio station. It doesn't. The buzzer does not work with Russians intercontinental ballistic missile or rocketry department. That. That's not. That's not what that's for. But because it's broadcasting Swan Lake, this must be another coup. Reason they're saying this is that in 1991, the last time we saw Swan Lake broadcasted over Russian airwaves was during the attempted coup of Mikhail Gorbachev in which the Soviet Council got together and announced that you know Gorby had a bad case of coup, excuse me, flu and that he wasn't going to be coming back. And they were, you know, the tanks rolling down the streets in Moscow during political unrest in Soviet Russia. They always played Tchaikovsky Swan Lake. So they did the same back when. Which Soviet premier was it? One of the Soviet premier, I think Khrushchev. When Khrushchev passed away and they didn't quite know who was going to be the next Soviet premier, they played Swan Lake over TV in Soviet Russia. Here's what that looked like back in the day, by the way. This would play on loop all day. That would be on every channel on loop ad nauseum forever. Now the two reasons that they had to for playing that over the airwaves. Number one was so the news broadcasters wouldn't have to tell you different things that hadn't been decided yet, you know, officially from the state government on what was going on, what, what the official line from the state was going to be. Number two, it was to reserve the airwaves so that no differing faction, that no opposing group could broadcast disparate messages across the Soviet airwaves. There's no reason to do that. Now broadcasting Tchaikovsky Swan Lake over UVB 76. No, that's not, that's not at all what that's for. Why do I bring this up? Because it's just trolls behind every little conspiracy that now some conspiracies are absolutely real for sure. Again, once the evidence is presented, we find them. Excellent. Sometimes though, you're just told, ah, they're playing Swan Lake over the nuclear radio station in Russia. With a very small bit of investigation you can find a lot of that is just junk, silly nonsense. So realistically the real buzzer channel throughout the day sounds like this. And to the comment that says, oh, it sounds creepy, you're absolutely right, number station stuff sounds creepy. When I was a middle school science teacher, this was my favorite unit to teach when teaching the electromagnetic spectrum. I made sure it was right around Halloween. And then I would play the creepiest Soviet era number station stuff like the East German station used by the Stasi and oh, really fun creepy stuff. And I still mess around with number stations. Some of that I can't really talk about on the air. But the Soviet UVB 76 pirates mess with Russia. That's the real secret. That's all the Tchaikovsky Swan Lake was. Here they are in 2022 on the spectrogram, the visual representation of the radio frequencies putting up the troll face. Normally it looks like Just a standard buzzer ticker tape line just to reserve the channel and keep it open. So, no, I'm going to let you in on a very neat secret about Russia. They're not interested in launching nukes everywhere. They're not, they're. Not. Half the nuclear arsenal is likely not even functional anymore. And of that that it is, the United States has made it explicitly clear that the Russian leadership would very much be dead before the very first missile made it out of the lower atmosphere. Now, does that mean, you know, you go playing silly games? Well, absolutely not. There's a lot of strong willed foreign policy understanding that the Secretary of War, Pete Hagseth, and then of course the Secretary of State Marco Rubio need to make. But the idea that we're on the cusp of nuclear war and that's why we have to treat Vladimir Putin with kid gloves, because he's going to nuke everyone at a moment's note. No, no, stop that. That's how some old 60s left wing hippie would tell you you have to view the world, which is let everyone walk all over you because if you don't, they're going to nuke you all to hell and gone. Yeah, you don't have to live under a rock like that, under just permanent doomsday fear. Instead, make fun of those who are trying to cover up the Somali migrant fraud with me. It's really funny because they're bending themselves into weird pretzel knots trying to find their way out of this and it just ain't going to work. I do want to thank a couple of our new channel members, Barbara Rochelle, John Welch, Father Fish, who have joined the YouTube channel. What that does, by the way, that allows you some access to some special videos a little bit earlier than when we share them with the rest of the channel. And then of course, you get access to some kind of Tony Kennett cast emojis and things that we have. It really is not something we advertise because it's just the way people express kindness through donation. That's really it. The same with Super Chats. So we really do appreciate those who have done so. For example, Linan Nemiro, a five dollar super chat this evening. Happy New Year. Happy New Year to you. Kevin Clark, a five dollar super Chat. Again, really, really kind of you guys to do that. We don't ask you to do that, but it is really appreciated. So those things aside, I do want to cover one last little bit before we shuffle off to that wonderful wide evening. Excuse me. So right now the entire country is focused on this Somali migrant fraud disaster everywhere. You wonder how we get into these kinds of places. It is the entire diversity, equity and inclusion complex. That said, in order to be equitable and inclusive and super duper kind and wonderful, what you really needed to do was a bunch of performative stuff. There's a lot of weird videos of like the mayor of some Canadian city showing up to events in burkas and American individuals as well giving themselves Native American fake name from the Ojibwe language which no one speaks. Here you have Jacob Frey, the mayor of Minneapolis, giving one of the most inspiring addresses that I've ever heard. In fact, so inspiring I couldn't end the show tonight without sharing it with you. So. Well, I think this speaks for itself.
F
Minneapolis Damaan Shahab ka Somalia Kay Yamid.
A
Mogadishu Garaway Hargeza Bosasso Bedabo Kismayo Wahan raba in an idin shego Minneapolis wa.
F
Magaladina wahad kamid tijin laf dabarka Magaladan.
A
K digesa boshado isku duban miska muska Mickey Mouse and all God's people said hey Macarena. Inspiring things. When the idea that you being from Somalia and speaking Somali makes you special so you don't have to learn English, you don't have to assimilate like other immigrants who have come to the United States for centuries, but you're allowed to keep that. In fact, we'll make our politicians speak your special super duper whatever. Why? It doesn't actually add anything. All it does is give social credit so that later some college age girl at a political function can wander up to Jacob Ray and go wow, you were like so smart speaking Somali. I just, wow. I'm so gonna vote Democrat forever. Amazed. I'm amazed that there are individual and there really are. There are a lot of people according to the polling data who appear to be very surprised about some of this fraud. I honestly, I'm a little surprised that Jacob Frey was able to beat out Omar Fateh, the Somali born candidate in the last primary. Just, just excellent stuff all around. I think that will about wrap it up for this evening. I'm gonna level with you. I'm not entirely sure how long the show for tomorrow New Year's Eve show will be. We're not gonna do any ball drops. I will be sober. We're not doing any silly nonsense. Maybe it'll be a year in review roundup. Maybe it'll be the news of the day. I don't know yet. It depends on whether or not I don't know. Minnesota does more fraud. Okay, that's not really an if. That's more of a when. We'll take care of it. It's the Tony Kinnit cast here on the Daily Signal, nationally syndicated and first on 93 WYBC. Take care.
Date: December 31, 2025
Host: Tony Kinnett, with guests including Rebecca Downs
Main Theme:
Unpacking the explosive revelations of widespread fake daycare centers used in multi-state fraud rings, centering on Somali migrant operations, Minnesota’s government response, and broader implications for federal spending and security. The episode also covers breaking international news on Iran’s missile tests, crackdown on protests, and related Middle Eastern developments.
This episode dives deep into a national scandal involving hundreds of fraudulent daycare centers, primarily in Minnesota, and the systemic failures in government oversight. Tony Kinnett exposes how Somali migrant-run facilities are siphoning off millions in taxpayer dollars, details bureaucratic excuses and media coverups, explores the spread of the scam to other states, and discusses the implications for federal funding programs. The show also features a rapid-fire update on Iran’s recent ballistic missile launches and political unrest. There’s a recurring throughline of incredulity, sarcasm, and sharp criticism of both local officials and national media.
[00:04 – 15:08]
“It really is unfortunate to share with all of you that the national Somali migrant fraud epidemic is getting worse. But what is perhaps more embarrassing is the lack of skill in the cover up.” (00:04)
“We do take the concerns that the video raises about fraud very seriously.” (07:18)
“Someone’s lying here. You can’t simultaneously have been open for eight and a half years and then have all of the state records show you’ve been open and closed more times than a fireworks store…” (08:05)
“…Once it’s exposed to the public and people are mad about it, he says, 'My message remains clear. If you threaten everything that makes our state a great place to live by committing fraud in Minnesota, you will be caught and prosecuted…' Then he ends up giving more money to the Somali migrant community.” (14:50)
[15:08 – 39:43]
“…a video circulating on X … showed 161 Child Care LLC looking nothing like a real daycare center at all. It’s locked, says it's open… [calls go unanswered].” (16:44 – 17:55)
“Once you sell your kids, no backseats.” (19:07)
“The process there for Medicaid in Ohio is prime for fraud. At least now people are waking up and demanding accountability.” (21:09)
“If for three registered children … $210,000 just this year… when is Kiddit Childcare opening up? If we’re going to get out some of the federal moolah, shouldn’t we all get to share a little part of this?” (40:52 – 40:59)
[22:15 – 26:25]
“…intrepid journalists have made shocking and credible allegations of extensive fraud in Minnesota’s child care programs. We believe the state of Minnesota has allowed scammers and fake daycares to siphon millions of taxpayer dollars over the past decade.” (22:51)
“Starting today, we require a justification receipt or photo evidence before we make a payment.” (26:03)
[44:00 – 49:09]
“At some point the amateur effort to knock on the doors of home daycares intersects with robust stand your ground laws.” (44:00)
“The legacy media has thrown that out the window. And instead they’ve gone all in on the real problem: these independent journalists walking around and looking stuff up.” (44:20)
[29:54 – 36:45]
“If they are, we’re going to have no choice but very quickly to eradicate that build up.” (29:54)
[52:00 – 60:00]
“…just be careful. I really don’t want to hear of anyone who … gets in a rough situation or God forbid, harassing someone who is operating a daycare that is perfectly fine.” (49:35)
Tony Kinnett on fraud coverups:
“That's essentially the level of reason that is going into the fraud cover up in Minneapolis.” (00:29)
On government spin:
“Ah yes. So we don't like the independent journalist who did the work exposing this, but you know, we really take these claims very seriously.” (07:18)
On the cycle of state response:
“Yet again, a Somali migrant fraud ring is discovered. Records show Tim Walz ignored the fraud for years. And then Tim Walz responds, ‘Hey, don’t you commit fraud or be racist now, you hear?’ And then he ends up giving more money to the Somali migrant community.” (14:50)
Rebecca Downs (Ohio):
“It was very suspicious that there was no children present. There was one employee dressed in, you know, traditional Muslim garb.” (16:44)
Jim O’Neill, HHS:
“We believe the state of Minnesota has allowed scammers and fake daycares to siphon millions of taxpayer dollars over the past decade.” (22:51)
On media criticism:
“At some point the amateur effort to knock on the doors of home daycares intersects with robust stand your ground laws.” — Josh Gerstein, Politico (44:00)
Cynical wrap-up:
“I do want to thank a couple of our new channel members… The same with Super Chats. … Maybe it'll be a year in review roundup. Maybe it'll be the news of the day. I don't know yet. It depends on whether or not … Minnesota does more fraud. Okay, that's not really an if. That's more of a when.” (63:20)
If you missed the episode, Tony Kinnett unpacks how a multi-million-dollar daycare scam, largely tied to Somali migrant communities in Minnesota, has gone national—with states like Ohio and Washington now under scrutiny. The episode details the failed oversight, ridiculous bureaucratic doublespeak, and legacy media complicity. Tony’s team, including reporter Rebecca Downs, reviews evidence of fraud in new states and highlights the belated, partial federal clampdown. The conversation broadens to international security as Tony reports on Iran’s missile launches and unpacks conspiracies (like the Russian “buzzer”) with humor and skepticism. The show closes with a warning against vigilante action and a promise that unless the accountability cycle changes, new frauds are inevitable. The episode is a call both to investigate and to demand more from elected officials.
