Tony Kennett, host of the Tony Kennett cast. Let's get down to business. You're listening to the Tony Kennett cast on 93 WIBC on CYTV here on the Daily Signal. Good evening and welcome to the Tony Kennett cast here on the Daily Signal, nationally syndicated, first on 93 WIBC in Indianapolis. We're focusing on some of our alternate radio and TV stations today because at 7:30 I have a fantastic IU game to tune into. So let's not waste any further time. There's a lot going on with the breaking updates of the day. First and foremost, new cell phone footage kind of acting as kind of body camera footage over from ICE officials in Minneapolis show that the entire narrative you've been hearing over the last 48, 72 hours, this idea that ice went in and they committed cold blooded murder and there were all of these fleeing people just trying to get out of the way and these innocent mothers and poets and, and friends of society. Probably Corduroy the bear mercilessly gunned down by ice. No. Cause they were laughing, putting on their swastika armbands. No, not the Democrat candidate who's running for senator in Maine. The, the Republican Nazis or, or whatever. That's what happened. You were told. And then the cell phone footage of the officer who fired the shots after being hit by the Honda pilot driven by a Renee Good, that turned things around. So first and foremost, you guys know how it works. Before we get into the analysis of the footage, the footage itself, That reminds me before we start, viewer discretion is advised. Listener discretion is advised. If you're watching this with kids, I recommend that you don't. All right, here we go. So you can see the camera being moved around to the front of the Honda pilot. She's again 30 degree angle in the middle of the road. She, you can see she is smiling at the officer as he is walking around. The other agent at this point, based on how the, the siren audio links up has stopped his truck and is now approaching her Honda pilot. So you can see her turning to talk to the ICE agent. That's fine, dude. I'm not mad at you. So you'll notice that she says, and I quote, that's fine dude, I'm not mad. That quote's going to become at least important to some a little bit later.
B
That's okay.
A
We don't change our plates every morning. Just so you know, it'll be the same plate when you come talk to us later. That woman who has her phone in the individual's face, that is the lesbian life partner, wife, individual person that we've covered earlier on in the show, who, according to the New York Post, after Renee is shot, is seen over on the ground crying. It's all my fault. It's all my fault. I told her to come here. That's fine. U.S. citizen, former. You want to come at us? You want to come at us? I say go get yourself some lunch, big boy. Okay, do you want to come at us? Do you want to come at us? I say you go get yourself some lunch, big boy, said the young man before walking back to his Subaru.
B
Go ahead.
A
Now the car. Get out. There you go. There's the officer saying, get out of the car. Now. The officer who was being spoken to by sort of wife, flannel person, now starts to move to the front of the vehicle. You can see that she backs her vehicle up. And if you will recall, I was very specific about one thing I haven't heard a lot of other media outlets or journalists say. Not saying that I'm especially original in this. I'm just making this clear. I said, where her head is turned when she begins to drive matters if her attention, all of her attention is locked on the officer that was trying to open her door because again she was blocking the road. She has violated federal law. They told her to move. She didn't move. Now they're at the point where they're ready to make an arrest. And she now is not turning her attention towards the driver and then gunning it while looking at the driver and then, and then driving away. That would be involuntary manslaughter. What you can see here is that she turns her head to the front, makes eye contact again with the officer who had already been near her car. Then she turns. It appears as though she's trying to turn away, but you can hear by the engine sound she revs up and she guns it. Now we'll get into to why certain parts of this matter and don't in a minute. But now you're going to see the officer be hit by the vehicle. And he says, effing B. So that's what he says under his breath as the car drives out of control and then crashes into the white sedan. That is the clip that was loaded today. The kind of setup for this is that the ICE officer appear appeared to have his phone right about here, according to other footage. We can see this in his left hand and then had his handgun when he pulled it in his right. So a. The kind of pseudo body camera situation in this particular instance. Now, there are a couple things that I need you to note that it's a little harder to hear that I covered with Scott Jennings this afternoon. First and foremost, you can hear very faintly it is back there that as the officer is telling her to get out of the vehicle, the lady in the flannel who was saying, why don't you go get some lunch, big boy? To the officer who would later discharge his handgun was heard you yelling, and I quote, drive, baby, drive. To the Renee Good in the vehicle, encouraging her to flee the scene and again break federal law and not to mention either commit vehicular homicide or aggravated, aggravated manslaughter. Again, the exact language might differ in Minnesota as opposed to other states. Drive, baby, drive. Here, I'll play it one more time so you can hear. It's right at the beginning, So that's different than what you were told. Also, again, when you hear. You can hear this in the clip later, there's another individual. The gentleman who complimented the figure of one of the ICE agents is also in the background audio of his footage. You can hear that flannel, The. The. The. The wife, life partner, whatever, who is on the ground crying, it's my fault. It's my fault. Now, we know very much clearly why this is directly related, because. Drive, baby, drive. You told her to flee federal law enforcement. You encouraged the woman you are in a relationship with to violate the law.
B
Here's.
A
You can hear this in the background audio of this clip. All right. Damn. Oh, my gosh. This is horrible, y'. All. I made her come down here. It's my fault. And then one more time, it's my fault. So this creates a totally different dynamic for some people. The reason I say for some people is that there are a lot of Americans right now who have viewed this entire situation, whether more guarded or in a more confident manner in their assessment of the situation. Nothing has really changed here because based on the common sense evidence at hand, there was an individual who was blocking traffic who showed up out of state plates based on the information we'd recovered from her. Her. Her life, that she was a member of the ice, like an ICE Watch women's group that goes around harassing ice. We'll talk about that in a second. Most people understood this, but there were individuals who clung to this idea that first of all, she was this innocent poet laureate. That's how the news articles had framed it. Oh, innocent mother, lover of friendship, and dreams was, was mercilessly, cruelly, horrifically gunned down by Hitler himself. And then you had another group of individuals who said that it was a complete lie that the ICE officer was hit by the vehicle. Because in earlier footage, in earlier footage, you weren't quite able to see whether the ICE officer at the front of the vehicle had been struck by the car or whether it had missed him by a millimeter or just slid past him. Now, by seeing the phone bounce and hit, and of course, some other footage that we've had since then, obviously we know that the officer was struck by the vehicle six to seven months ago. He was also struck by a different vehicle, had to get stitches in his legs. He has been hitting by a, a hit and run before. So here is, I want to see if we can get the original footage loaded up here just really quickly. I want to again just remind our audience that initially you might not have been able to see whether the officer was hit or not. Here's that footage. So at this point in time, now we know that on the other side of this vehicle, the, the wife, life partner individual was on the other side of the vehicle telling the other ICE agent to go get lunch and, and appeared to be shielding Renee from the ICE officer initially. And then when she heard guys on the other side of the vehicle then moved around and then said drive baby, drive. The reason you couldn't hear it before is because the person who is doing the recording of this video is screaming no Eeeeeeeeee over and over. Now you can see the ICE agent is obscured again, as we've seen before, by the one who was pulling on the driver's side door. So initially we didn't quite know ICE and Department of Homeland Security said he had been hit, said he was in the hospital. And then you had individuals who are complete and utter idiots throw their hat into the ring. For example, Kathy Young. Now Kathy Young was supposed to kind of be sort of a moderate, you know, kind of Republican writer. She writes for Bulwark and Reason and she's, you know, got the Ukraine flag in her bio. She's decided to be extremely stupid and had posted two days ago. He isn't hit by the car. She's talking to David Asmon over on Fox News. He isn't hit by the car. He's slightly winged by the side, by its side of the vehicle as it drives away and is in no danger whatsoever. Have a smidgen of decency. One of Obama's speech writers and one of the co hosts of Pod Save America. He is. He also came out and issued a statement, said he wasn't hit by the car, which we believe because we have eyes. So many on the left came forward and said that, yeah, there's all of this footage, but we're just gonna lie to you about what's in the footage. We have our own eyes. He wasn't hit by the car. Well, now, according to the footage that we have, it is dead. Firm confirmation of exactly what happened. It also shows the officer was hit by the vehicle before the very first shot was fired. And then he fired off three shots in succession, which is not unusual as an individual who, in. In all seriousness, was lucky to escape with a. A. The not having been run over by the vehicle itself, whether or not her intent was to do so or not. Now, again, you have individuals like Mayor Jacob Frey who have, you know, mocked the agent for being injured. Again, I'm sorry. Whether it's an attempted homicide or attempt or reckless driving that would have led to manslaughter. Either way, the officer could have been killed. Frey seems to have preferred that alternative. Here he is mocking the agent's injury. Don't take my word for it. Don't take their word for it. Watch the video from every single angle. Now, that's interesting, right off the bat that he's saying this because I was told, and you were told right off the bat that he knew everything that had happened. Now he's kind of sort of vaguely walking back. No, don't take my word for it. Watch the video. But if you come to a different conclusion, then you're evil and a white supremacist, all that other stuff. So anyway, here he's gonna. He's gonna make fun of the agent. I mean, the ICE agent walked away with a hip injury that he might as well have gotten from closing a refrigerator door with his hips. He walked, okay. He could have got that injury, you know, trying to close a refrigerator door with his hip. Guys, a Honda Pilot is 2 1/2 tons or 1/3 of a JB Pritzker. That is a big piece of machinery. And yeah, getting hit with one of those. This Hollywood esque idea people have about cars, like in the Avengers movie where the Hulk is, like, tossing him out left and right. And it's not a problem. Guys. In real life, cars have momentum. And a car even moving slowly, you can't just stop one of those. Lest we forget the number of times we have seen individuals at these protests try to weakly limp out onto the floor and stop the vehicle. Realizing, oh gee, wow, it's actually really difficult to stop a moving vehicle. So Jacob Fry and just counter, counter idea here. Maybe Jacob Fry is a big freaking idiot. How about that? That, that's, that's quite a different concept. So I want to show this clip, by the way, in case you think I'm goofing on you. Yeah, people think they can stop cars. No, that's not how that works here. When they hear the mayor of their city, look, he's, he's giving it, he's giving it the full one. He's, he's going for it, man. Pelvic thrust. Woo. He's, he's going for it. Yeah. Cars are bigger than people saying I should get out. And they don't hear much from the governor except please be. And then of course he, as we talked about yesterday, he gets out and goes, guys, everything's okay. I have, I have humped the vehicle. So it, I'm just saying you were told by the same people who proclaimed to you immediately Derek Chauvin was innocent or Derek Chauvin's evil Derek, George Floyd innocent. This kind hearted guy was murdered by this racist cop and then shoved his knee onto his neck and that's what killed him. And yeah, the coroner reports said otherwise and ton of fentanyl in his system and obviously the guy was a terrible person, but they, George Floyd it. And then there was the Summer of Love and a bunch of cities including Minneapolis burnt down. They have tried to do the same thing here. They have, they have tried to do the exact same thing here. And just like leftists from around the country utilized the George Floyd incident as a way to say, and I quote, all cops are bastards. Leftist officials and protesters, mostly menopausal white women from all around the country, have angrily claimed that this means ICE needs to be disbanded and discredited and shut down right now and all this other nonsense. Uh, again, for example, the Representative Andy Craig, Congresswoman from Minnesota suggesting maybe, maybe we're going to shut down the federal government over defunding ice.
B
Congressman, we're hearing that some Democrats are threatening to shut down the government unless Congress tries to curb some of the powers from ice. It's very unlikely, as you said, that Republicans would join in and to support that.
A
But do you support that idea?
B
Well, look, I think we're going to get into those budget discussions here later this month.
A
I love it when politicians don't answer yes or no questions. It gives me the giggles. Look, I think the lack of following.
B
The rule of law by this administration is egregious.
A
You know what I think is kind of egregious when it comes to not following the rule of law? Number one, you're not allowed to block traffic. Number two, if a law enforcement official. I love all of the arguments that I'm seeing from again, as we've made fun of the left wing menopausal women who just say things like I said in actually law enforcement, I implore you, read a book. You can start small, Cat in the Hat, but as you increase your reading comprehension skills, you will learn that in U.S. federal law affirmed by the Supreme Court of the United states in the 80s, Immigration Customs Enforcement absolutely can act under the auspices of the Attorney General and the directory or the Director of Homeland Security, that in those instances, yes, ICE can absolutely act as federal law enforcement. They can't make traffic stops. According to who? What Facebook post told you that? And I think that while all options have to be on the table, there it is. All options have to be on the table. Yeah, we might consider shutting the government down over ice. We'll talk about that with Rob Bluey here in just a little bit. But first, I do want to show the kind of general response from the people who the left has no problem at all sending out to be injured and possibly to their deaths by faing and foing. And then of course, the Democrat officials who are laughing about it, preening about it, posturing about it off camera. And when I mean laughing about it and preening about it and posturing about it, I. I really do mean that particular kind of description. For example, I believe Eric Swalwell recorded a video where he ordered some staffer maybe was doing some kind of a walking interview. He's got to get in the right number of F words here. He's got to sound all tough and strong as he's like strutting away. Here you go. Hey, Congressman, what's going on, man? What the fuck is up with ICE rearing a woman in Minneapolis? She has a name, right? I like this. So it's not actually a reporter, it's a staffer. So he's like, here, act like a reporter. We've seen this before. We've made fun of this where he's like, here, and then I'm going to walk and I'm going to power walk away. And we'd be like, she has a name, right? I'm not reading a script. Oh, yes, here is what is happening.
B
Renee.
A
Good. Looks like she was a mom of three who she, you know, abandoned to go be at a protest all day instead of, you know, working for a living.
B
And had every right to go see her kids last night.
A
Yeah, she did. She did have every right to go see her kids last night. Why? Why? Who made the decision to go harass ICE and impede federal law enforcement? Who made the decision to take her life, partner, wife, whatever's advice and drive off violating yet more federal law? Hmm? How about that? How about that? And instead, she's dead.
B
And of course, this is what would.
A
Happen when you have a president who.
B
Surges his thugs into our communities.
A
Okay, really bad actor. I'm, I'm embarrassed to see this. But alas, this kind of official nonsense is happening all over, everywhere. You've got Alexandria Ocasio Cortez trying to use this as a way to fight J.D. vance in the primary. Already Alexandra Ocasio Cortez knows she's running for president in 28. I've told you guys this before. She's likely to be the nominee. Vance is likely to be the other nominee with Rubio as the VP candidate. But AOC is going to try to get some cheap shots in just like everybody, because it's all political. I understand that Vice President Vance believes that shooting a young mother of three in the face three times didn't shoot her in the face three times. But again, AOC can't read. Is an acceptable America that he wants to live in and I do not. And that is a fundamental difference between Vice President Vance and I. I do not believe that the American people should be assassinated in the street. Thank you. Oh, American people shouldn't be assassinated in the street. Where was her condemnation of Luigi Mangione who assassinated the United Healthcare CEO in New York? What was the condemnation of the assassination of Charlie Kirk from aoc? Oh, I didn't hear that. Oh, you didn't hear that then? Hmm. Boy, those inches, they sure are resting. Now, let's actually talk about the kind of people that go to these protests. There are, according to several reports today, more and more women on the left who are most often either single, young, just out of college women, or about menopausal age, left wing, mainly white women who have made all of this political protest their religion. Now I have pointed out that is one half of the Democrats voting demographic for ages. I, I do obviously enjoy being right and, and seeing this play out on the national stage. I hate how it is playing out on the national stage because the horrible advice is in fact leading to people making really stupid choices that have, I mean, life and death consequences. But I. I want to be specific here we now have people again. This angry brood of left wing menopausal white women who are shouting things like shoot me. Outside the Whipple Federal Building in Minneapolis.
B
Shoot me.
A
Shoot me. Go ahead, shoot me. Shoot me. Shoot me. You want to shoot me?
B
You want to shoot me?
A
Shoot me. Go ahead. The desperate attention, whoring that is going on, and by the way, that's what this is. There is an entire group of people who have made their profession just being full on attention whores because they get affirmation for doing this. You saw as soon as the cameras came up and showed her screaming, shoot me now. She's on the performance train and goes in even harder. Now. I just want to make this clear. Do you know how pathetically stupid, cringeworthy and embarrassing something has to be to make an independent fundamental Baptist want to cross himself? My goodness. And by the way, there are now more individuals because of the actions, none of the condemnation of the illegal behavior of blocking federal law enforcement with a vehicle. Guys, that is illegal. That violates federal law multiple places. Now we have more vehicles that are parking in the same manner. And then of course, you have again, the same demographic. Women who think it's funny, who think it's fun, it's an adventure. We're getting out there. We're showing them, guys, we're doing it. People are getting shot. When you violate the law and then you charge an officer with your vehicle, either accidentally or on purpose, you violate the law and you take your life in your own hands. Here's assumedly a moment. There's a zoom in that shows like a package of good night, like, toddler diapers in the back of her vehicle. Here she is just bringing coffee. Continually see you following us, interfering with us, honking, your whole smirk on her face. It's the same one. It's always this, this sad, pathetic individual that thinks they're doing something. They think they've got something. They're violating federal law. They think they're saving people. They wouldn't house migrants in their home. How many Somali migrants do you think she's taking care of right now? You think her kids go to the Quality Luring Center? Hmm? Blocking our cars. You have a very high probability of making a really bad decision and being arrested today. Okay, look, look, look how he's trying to say, like, look, you are violating federal law. Now, again, I prefer at this point the Tom Holman approach. I'm gonna level with you. I prefer the Tom Holman approach. Pull her out of the car. And arrest her. She's violating the law. Eventually, they will learn. Pull her out of the car and arrest her. They're not. You can't reason with these people.
B
You.
A
You can't. You can't talk her down. Look at her. She has that like. I'm getting ready to explain a post that I saw this morning on TikTok, and it was this AI video that promised me that after Donald Trump got done inventing AIDS and. And. And selling the moon to Russia or something, that he ordered ICE to kill everyone. So me, instead of getting some exercise, I. I decided to come here and park my car in ways that are trying to keep ICE officers from carrying out federal law and, by the way, arresting individuals who consistently have been shown to commit lots of violent crime or highly fraudulent crime. I'm not the right decision. Oh, she thinks she's making exactly the right decision. Yes. Excellent, excellent. Now, unfortunately, I have seen far too many angry, protesting lesbians in the last 48 hours. The governor of Oregon, Kotech, is no different. She's also someone that I have seen doing this kind of nonsense here. She was out here making her big, bold, beautiful claims. We are standing here today united as a state, wanting peace and safety in our communities. Pay attention to that guy right behind her because he's also got a statement to make. He's a state senator. Now, Kotak, to be fair, is a little more coherent than that dude, but she's got to get out here. And again, Kotak also wants to be more famous than she is. She's got to get out there and make some statements about ice. We are all shaken and outraged by another terrible, unnecessary, violent event instigated by the reckless agenda of the Trump administration. Oh, she's talking about the shooting in Oregon. Oh, man. Who was it that ICE shot in Portland? Gang members. Kotech is out here because gang members were shot by Immigration Customs Enforcement. Ah, yeah. Maryland, man. Here we are this time in our own state, in our largest city, coming just one day after the tragedy in Minnesota. While detail, the details of the incident remain limited, one thing is very clear. When a president endorses tearing families apart and attempts to govern, I don't think he's tearing families apart. He said, you can be deported together. Go on. It's federal judges who are preventing children from being deported along with their parents and then remaining with their families through fear and hate rather than shared values. Ah, yes. The Democrat socialist lesbian wants you to understand you need to share her values. The same values that mutilate children and encourage gang Members to remain on the streets. Thanks, Kotak. Excellent. Super duper. That's wonderful. I'm so glad that you could take the moment to share that with us. It's not any better that state senator behind her that I was telling you about, he also had to get a little camera time. Here is State Senator Keisei Jamaica. Let me say to this, federal agencies and ice, This is Oregon. We do not need you. You're not welcome, and you need to get the hell out of our community. Ah, yes. The most American things one can hear. You're not welcome. You cannot be here. Get hell out. And I do day. I'm Dick Upton now. Excellent, excellent, excellent. State Senator of Oregon, ladies and gentlemen. Wonderful. Can't speak the language. Needs several minutes of pause to breathe. And consider the Shakespearean. Beautiful, beautiful sermon. I mean, just incredible. Yeah, step aside, Orson Welles. We've got some real writing to attend to here. So excellent. Loving it. Flavored Flav has also showed up to the protests in Minneapolis. Exciting stuff. I'm not sure his hat says Vietnam veteran. His coat says pimp. But we'll see what he has to say. He shows up and just starts like yelling it at ICE officers. Here you go. Right here. You heard it from me. We heard it from you, man. Who probably has a cane with a squid in it. White supremacist.
B
That's right, people.
A
I hope you can see through those thick ass glasses that you fucked up. I hope you can see through those thick a glasses that you F up. I have kind of a policy. Don't mock people for wearing glasses if you're also wearing glasses. People who live in glass houses maybe shouldn't throw stones. Also, if you look like you robbed a Burlington Coat Factory, maybe. Hang on a second.
B
Or.
A
Or return the Skin of the Lion King to the British Museum. I'm just, you know, little pro tips here for life. Okay, over to a little bit of real stuff. I want to make sure. Is there any other information? Oh, yes, I almost forgot. My goodness. When I was telling you about the demographic of ladies over on the left who have made this their entire profession. I'm not joking. According to the Daily Wire's Breco Stoll, who has done a phenomenal job reporting out in Minneapolis, there are women that have quit their jobs, those that had jobs in the first place, to follow ICE around and attempt to dox the agents, harass them, and of course, obstruct them and violate federal law. I quit my job for this. And I've been having flare ups and stuff. So it's like I can barely and I have panic attack. You said when you heard the sirens you immediately ran out. Where were you? I was about 15 minutes away. And what were you doing? I was disassociating on my bed. I mean, I might as well put my time to something useful. If you've seen the video, I might as well put my time to something useful. She shows up with a canvas sign and I can't see what was on the sign except for the word ass with dollar signs on it and then patriarchy, I think written in the most illegible font ever. So if she was a graphic design major, I would very much like to see that professor fired. But anywho, I'm sorry. She said she's doing something useful. It was not self defense by that terrorist. It was not. How did your boss respond when you quit? It was like a part time. I'm getting back after a lot happened recently in my life. So sometimes disability takes my life over and I'm still kind of in shock. Like school's been canceled. Have people been taking off work for this? Have you had to take off work for this? I gotta say, there you go. Full time, full time agitate protesters. There are individuals that have been on camera saying, yeah, we've been paid to be here through these entire protests. They have tried so hard to George Floyd this and they can't. They have failed miserably. Now some international news real quick because there is some stuff going on. Don't get me wrong, I would love to play you the clip of the Philadelphia police chief who is also mocking ice. Now, to be fair, she, well, looks as though her last beat was defending the local Golden Corral. Good afternoon, I'm Rochelle Bilal, the sheriff for the city and county of Philadelphia. And I say her name. Renee Good. Renee Good. Why did everyone. And also with you. She did it again. I can't hear you. Renee good. Renee good. Then she switches it up. Renee good. You know, like D. Nice. This should not have happened. But we're here today. Let know that law enforcement professionals, real ones, not the fake made up ice. Probably Trump's new army to attack citizens of the United States. This is the sheriff of Philadelphia. Not Minneapolis, not even Sheboygan. What in the world? What do you have to do with any of this? And then I'm sorry. So she goes on to say that they shouldn't wear masks. The overweight police chief wants you to know that the 10 year veteran law enforcement official at the federal level is not a professional. But she who could not pass her own department's physical fitness test. She's a real professional. She has to wear a quarter zip jacket instead of a real blazer of the department because they don't make them in her size. But she wants you to know that the isofit, that's the real problem. Ah, yes. I, I mean, incredible. Incredible.
B
Yeah.
A
I'm glad I played Jack Cliff. Okay, onto some international things here real quick. Don't go anywhere. It's the Tony Kennett cast here on the Daily Signal. This is the Tony Kennett cast on 93 WIBC. Very quickly because 10 minutes into the bowl game we have a little bit of international news that is very important you should know. Iranian protesters have now set fire to the Al Rizul mosque in Tehran. The regime is completely failing at keeping this revolution down. There have been some at large international statements. There is, at least from the President of the United States, it appears that the mullahs might attempt to flee. There doesn't appear to be a sure path out for Khomeini. Doesn't appear that's the case. It is also suspected that if Khomeini tries to escape Iran, that might just get hit by a very friendly missile either from, you know, Israel, either from one of the other moderate Muslim nations that surround Iran or a defense contracting agency that just so happens to have something friendly pointed at the sky. Who's to say? Who's to say? But I will, I will let you know. You probably won't ever be as cool as the protesters. There's a new fad going around. Young women are getting rid of the burqa. You know, they're getting rid of the hijab and instead are pulling out pictures of Khomeini and lighting their cigarettes with the burning picture of Al Khamenei. The mall of Iran, Guys, I don't know if you ever be that cool. That, that's pretty cool. I dig it. Now here's the, here's the deal. I'm probably not going to cover Iran much more tonight because I've got a hunch and. No, not the Hunchback of Notre Dame. I've got a hunch that over the weekend it's very, very likely things will spool a little more out of control. So here's my concession to you. In the event that that does occur and Iran does go into full scale revolution and there is a capture of an individual or some major movement, the crown prince returns and declares the Shah's coming back. Something like that, an armed militia controlling entire swathes of territory effectively in that particular instance. We'll go live over the weekend. Absolutely. So I don't want to get too far out on my skis. The situation is deteriorating rather quickly. The United States is getting some more things done on the situation regarding Venezuela and the kind of saber rattling of Putin and the Russians. We're going to get to that a little more later. First, I want to talk to Rob Bluey very, very briefly. We're going to swing back out, talk to Rob Bluey from the Daily Signal on a quick scandal over by Politico. And then of course, the insanity of those over on the House who are making it their entire mission perhaps to shut the federal government down over Immigration Customs Enforcement, a wild move heading into 2026. So we're going to cover that real quick. It's the Tony Kenned cast here on the Daily Sign.
B
Bingo.
A
It's the Tony Kennett cast with special guest Rob. A new tweet from our dear friend Sean Spicer revealing that playbook at Politico may have accidentally shared a Google document revealing the sources that they are allowed to use and not allowed to use and are preferred when writing stories. And wouldn't you know it, man, a lot of right wing organizations and leaning right and center right organizations are nowhere on the document at Rob Bluey, president of one of those organizations, the Daily Signal, joins us. And I gotta say, we might have to censor you in the background if Politico says we have to. No, I'm just kidding. How's it going?
B
Doing well, Tony. Congrats on a, you know, great week. I know it's been some, some tough news to cover, spanning the globe, frankly, from Venezuela to Minnesota or Mogadishu as you've taken to calling it. But you have done a remarkable job this week. So we appreciate the work you're doing even if Politic doesn't.
A
Oh, that's our, that's very, very kind. But again, all, all check in the mail stuff aside, some of these sites that they're told to check, of course, Politico. Ok. New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, ap, Bloomberg, NBC, abc, cbs, FOX News, the LA Times, the New Yorker and New York Magazine. Okay. Fox, which has more retractions than a cheap hospital Axios sparingly. I just find that funny, you know, kind of humorous. And then semaphore, politicalwire.com, nothing that I'm seeing here that suggests kind of the right leaning news and opinion outlets. I think the furthest you can go is Maybe Fox and kind of the New York Post. It's rather interesting.
B
It is quite interesting. And just to set the context here for why this is important, we're talking about it. So many of the lawmakers and influencers, influential people in Washington, D.C. start their day with Politico Playbook. I mean, it for years has been required reading if you are a member of Congress or a Hill staffer or a lobbyist. And so the fact that they are curating their news from sources that lean overwhelmingly to the left is not a huge surprise to you or me, but it was quite revealing when this information became public by Sean Spicer today. And I think it goes to reflect how, you know, they are. They are very focused on the legacy and establishment media organizations and really haven't paid attention to, quite frankly, to their own detriment to organizations like the Daily Signal or Daily Wire or Daily Caller, the dailies there.
A
But a lot of got the Daily Beast. I mean, hey, the Daily Beast has only been wrong on like 15 stories in the last couple of months. But I don't have an issue if you have a bias. And you know, I say this all the time, you're more than welcome to have a bias. I think that being open about your bias is a virtue because then you can clearly delineate for your audience this is what is fact and objective. Here is my take on it. When you claim yourself to be some unbiased, wonderful Walter Cron kind of old kind of source or political insight as his playbook for his for Politico, and then you reveal that you're only looking at one side of an issue, that that means there's some real questions that should be asked.
B
Well, absolutely, you're correct on that. And it's one of the reasons why I think that the Daily Signal, your show being one example, but also our journalism fellows and the success that they've had in establishing relationships and covering Capitol Hill, we decided to pursue congressional press credentials precisely because we felt that Politico and Playbook were dominating the narrative, much to the detriment of Republicans in Congress and conservatives. They would always frame what Speaker Johnson or Leader Thune did in a negative light. And oftentimes that would shape how many other news organizations across Washington, D.C. and the country would think about and interpret the news that was coming out of that organization. Now, it's interesting you mentioned Axios. So just a brief side note on that, of course, the founder of Axios is Mike Allen. And Mike Allen used to write the Politico Playbook newsletter and so it's no surprise, probably, that they would cite them sparingly, given that they are maybe not particularly fans of Mike Allen since he left that organization. But, you know, it just goes to show that there's more voices needed in places like Capitol Hill in the White House. And I'm grateful for our team to provide that alternative.
A
And I will say this not because I feel as though I have to, but because I do try to make a point to be as clear and transparent as possible. We do have a couple of friends, or I should say, I have a couple of friends over on the Politico side who I have reached out to and have talked about this a little bit in depth. And they've shared, I think they cited Breitbart once, three days ago. They don't necessarily regularly cite, but occasionally they'll. They'll throw a bone. And then also when they cite from Real Clear Politics, there's a chance, because our work has been featured in Real Clear Politics, Real Clear Investigation, quite a number of times. There's a chance. But the idea of making sure that you are transparent about who you are citing, it's a very, very important thing. And I bring that up because now we look at the situation revolving, what Congress is going to do in response to the latest Minneapolis chaos with ice. The news sources that you read, the video clips that you allow yourself to see, shape a narrative very clearly, as we've seen. And so when you see congresswomen now waltzing out in front of the camera, congresswomen like Janelle from Oregon or AOC from New York or Eric Swalwell, these congresswomen are very upset about ice, and they think it should be abolished. They might shut the government down over it. You're in D.C. right now. The Hill's little spicy. Do you think they're going to play this game in 26?
B
Yeah, I think you left Jasmine Crockett out of that list.
A
Sorry, I only know so many congresswomen off the top of my head.
B
No, you're good. You're good. I only bring that up because when I was on CNN this morning, right before they came to me, they played that clip of Jasmine Crockett breaking down into tears over what was going on in Minneapolis. But, yes, you're absolutely correct. We are just weeks away from another potential government shutdown. So if you rewind to the previous shutdown fight, Congress was only able to secure funding through January 30th. Now they are. They were supposed to, in the intervening months, pass the individual appropriations bills. So we wouldn't find ourselves in another situation where President Trump was able, was unable to carry out his agenda because the government was shut down. The Democrats know that they have the leverage because they don't have the 60 votes and the Republicans don't have the 60 votes in the Senate. So, yes, there are members of the party who will try to put the pressure on Chuck Schumer and others in the Senate to hold the line and shut down the government if they don't see changes with ice. I ultimately think that Donald Trump and Republicans are going to prevail on this just like they did last time. But that doesn't mean that they aren't willing to try it. And it could inflict some damage because we saw the economic hit that our country took during the last shutdown.
A
This is something that is a little just for our audience because those who have, you know, you tune in normally on, on Tuesdays, you catch Rob and I talking about some of this. We talk about the intended results and then what actually comes out of things. We've seen this with the Democrats before. They had something pretty okay, they could run on health care. Now, I don't know that claiming Republicans made Obamacare is the best move, but there was some polling data to suggest that voters might be salty with Republicans and if they force it into another shutdown in 26, it might nick Republicans might just brush up against them, leave them with a small scuff. And now the Democrats might be turning that entire thing away over ICE and something that Americans with a super majority support, not assaulting federal law enforcement.
B
That's right.
A
I mean, come on, man.
B
That's right. I mean, not only do you look at the polling, but even just go back to the 2024 election results. Well, let's go back even far to 2023 and 2024. Was there one issue where Donald Trump was clear and consistent and that was immigration and deportations. He said he promised the American people that if he was elected president that he would carry out the largest deportation in American history. Right now, Mike Howell of the Oversight Project has looked at the numbers and he says the Trump administration is behind pace, even the Eisenhower administration from the 1950s. So, Tony, I think that the Trump administration is not going down because of what happened in Minneapolis this week. They are going to continue to pursue those deportations. They recognize that it is a challenge because the news media and the Democrats in Congress will do everything they can to protest and put up a fight over this. But I don't expect that the American people will Turn on Donald Trump. They knew what they were getting when they elected him. And Donald Trump is going to be very firm when it comes to this particular issue.
A
Last thing, and this is kind of more of a cultural analysis. One of the most common tropes in the After School specials, when the main character gets in trouble, for example, there's the very over emotional individual that comes in and they're yelling, how could you do this? You're terrible. All of this other. And then after that happens for a minute or two, the cool, calm man walks in the George Feeny, as it were, and he's quieter and calmer and it sets the main character, who's in trouble at ease. And. And then he levels the boom. Oh, no, no, Mr. Matthews, you're still going to be, you know, suspended for weeks, whatever it may be. That's what I think we're seeing right now with Tom Holman and Kristi Noem. Kristi Noem's come out and she's talked a big game. I don't know. I've talked to Kristi before. She's very nice. I admire a lot of the work that she did in the Dakotas. But Tom Homan, in the middle of this ICE investigation, cool, calm. You mess with my officers, I'll wreck your soul. There's something there that is just. I think it's gonna resonate with the American people more. Less of the flare from the podium and more quiet, dedicated, unflinching action. What do you think?
B
Absolutely. And I do think that Tom Homan gives the American people that reassurance that the President's promise will be carried out to the fullest extent possible, as do.
A
Many bulldogs sitting on the front porch.
B
Well, I also. One other point about Tom Homan. Tom Homan has seen it from the inside. Let's not forget that he has a background in law enforcement. He's been there at dhs. And that's not to take away anything from Secretary Noem, but obviously she came from the governor's office and Tom Holman knows how the system works and how to actually deliver on the results. And so I'm hopeful. And Tony, just in closing here, I'd say I pray all the time for those men and women in law enforcement who are putting their lives on the line as they confront the violence and the, you know, extreme challenges that they're facing in cities like Minneapolis as a result of the rhetoric that you've called out from people like Tim Walls. It's irresponsible and I hope, I hope that Tim Walls can take a moment to reflect on his past behavior and change his tune. I'm not expecting him to, but I really do pray that he will.
A
And I think that that as you know, we've talked about that on the show this week, that though there are some objective truths, keeping a line of prayer for our leaders, that even though they're making decisions that are rather disastrous, that they pause even as John Fetterman says, of all people, everyone calm down for just a couple of minutes and you end up seeing clips that prove that, as we saw today. Rob Bluey, president of the Daily Signal, I appreciate you and I think we're going to wrap the show up with no mail time tonight because I have to watch Indiana University and Oregon and in the Peach bowl and I did absolutely get to see live on the TV right over there the phenomenal first touchdown IU pick six. God bless. I love it Hoosiers. So that said, I will answer one mail time question real quick one mailtime question because it's a very, very good one and it's going to be irrelevant if I don't answer it right away. So there have been two really good super chats this evening. Again, you guys do not have to to give us money on super chats. You don't have to do that, but we appreciate those who do. So elf puncher sent a $5 super chat saying can we not normalize? Can we normalize not responding to monetized social media accounts? We disagree with ah, kind of screenshotting doesn't give them any money though. So that's why you often see me posting screenshots and not like going to their profiles live during the show. The other question, a $10 super chat from Julie Adams. Very, very kind of you both for donating. What happened with the War Powers act today? The Senate passed the War Powers act, but the president can veto it. The House does not have enough energy and pressure to veto the president's War Powers act resolution from the Senate. So not much there. And then what is going on with the Supreme Court regarding tariffs? Yes, there was a particular rumor that was started today that the Supreme Court of the United States had said they are not ruling on tariffs right now. That's a lie. That's a lie. There's there was nothing out of the Supreme Court today on tariffs. It they didn't they actually released like here's what we are and aren't talking about it. They just haven't talked about it yet. So I would expect it in the next couple of weeks maybe a month at the most. But that's an estimate that is very much speculation. But I did want to answer that you asked about today's events. I don't think the Senate passing and the president being able to veto this war powers resolution resolution is enough. I don't, I don't think that's necessarily the top of the mind kind of a thing. That's why I didn't cover it. But I'm glad you asked so that I could mention at the end, House, they don't have enough to veto or to override the president's veto. And then over on, yeah, the Supreme Court, they're probably getting ready to wreck some of the rules regarding. Oh, what was it specifically? That there is one thing that the Supreme Court of the United States is likely to get ready to rule on. Yeah, the the Supreme Court of the United States is likely getting ready to strike down any of the requirements for teachers to keep kids gender transition secret. But we have something actually special planned for that once we get there. So have a wonderful evening. Go Indiana and I will see you all if well, if the Iranian revolution swings all the way through probably over the weekend, if not Monday, it's the Tony Kinnit cast here on the Daily Signal, nationally syndicated and first on 93 WIBC. Oh, wait, we are going to be hanging out over in the show's Discord. That link is in the description. Welcome to hang out with us. I'm going to watch the game and hang out with some of our Tony Kenned cast crew on the Discord side. Supposed to mention that. All right. Now take care of.
BOMBSHELL: New Body Cam Video Ends Debate on Minneapolis ICE Shooting, Women Quit Jobs to Hunt ICE
Date: January 10, 2026
Host: Tony Kinnett, The Daily Signal
Guest: Rob Bluey, The Daily Signal President
This episode centers on the release of new body camera and cell phone footage of a controversial ICE agent-involved shooting in Minneapolis. Tony Kinnett reviews and analyzes the footage, challenges previously reported narratives, highlights media and political reactions, and explores the escalation of left-wing protest culture—particularly the phenomenon of women quitting jobs to protest or obstruct ICE activities. The episode closes with commentary on a Politico media scandal, looming political showdowns over ICE in Congress, and a brief touch on international news from Iran.
Quote:
"You can hear very faintly... the lady in the flannel... was yelling, and I quote: 'Drive, baby, drive,' to Renee Good in the vehicle—encouraging her to flee the scene and again break federal law."
— Tony Kinnett (06:30)
Quote:
"Now, according to the footage that we have, it is dead firm confirmation of exactly what happened. It also shows the officer was hit by the vehicle before the very first shot was fired."
— Tony Kinnett (12:00)
Quote:
"A Honda Pilot is two and a half tons... In real life, cars have momentum... getting hit with one of those—yeah, it’s serious. Maybe Jacob Fry is a big freaking idiot. How about that?"
— Tony Kinnett (15:10)
Quote:
"There are women that have quit their jobs—those that had jobs in the first place—to follow ICE around and attempt to dox the agents, harass them, and of course, obstruct them and violate federal law."
— Tony Kinnett (30:05)
Quote:
"I quit my job for this... I was disassociating on my bed. I mean, I might as well put my time to something useful."
— Anonymous protester, relayed by Kinnett (31:06)
(37:30–43:34, with Rob Bluey)
Quote:
"They are curating their news from sources that lean overwhelmingly to the left... it's not a huge surprise, but it was quite revealing when this information became public."
— Rob Bluey (39:21)
(43:34–46:51)
Quote:
"I pray all the time for those men and women in law enforcement... facing extreme challenges in cities like Minneapolis as a result of the rhetoric that you've called out from people like Tim Walls."
— Rob Bluey (48:26)
“Viewer discretion is advised.”
Tony sets the stage for showing and discussing graphic video evidence (01:13).
“Drive, baby, drive.”
The pivotal phrase captured on tape, shifting blame away from ICE and implicating Renee Good’s partner in the decision to flee (06:30).
Kinnett, mocking activist performativity:
"Do you know how pathetically stupid, cringeworthy and embarrassing something has to be to make an independent fundamental Baptist want to cross himself?" (23:42)
Political showmanship called out:
"I love it when politicians don't answer yes or no questions. It gives me the giggles.” (17:06)
"She has a name, right? I like this. So it’s not actually a reporter; it’s a staffer...” (19:27)
Summary of protester rationale:
"I mean, I might as well put my time to something useful." (31:06)
On Politico’s list of sources:
"Nothing that I'm seeing here that suggests kind of the right leaning news and opinion outlets." (39:07)
On federal law enforcement:
“In US federal law... ICE can absolutely act as federal law enforcement." (17:15)
Tony Kinnett’s tone is irreverent, sarcastic, direct, and highly opinionated, often using humor and mockery to underscore his points, particularly toward media narratives, politicians, and protester behavior. The discussion with Rob Bluey is more measured, focused on structural media concerns and political strategy, but maintains the show’s direct style.
A must-listen for those seeking a contrarian or right-of-center analysis on the Minneapolis ICE shooting, media bias, and protest trends.
