Let's get down to business. You're listening to the Tony Kennett cast on 93 WIBC, on CYTV, here on the Daily Signal. Hello and good evening. Welcome to the Tony Kenned cast here on the Daily Signal, nationally syndicated, first on 93 WIBC. Boy, do we have news to dive into. So without further ado, the United States has put forward a 15 point plan in order to get Iran to the table over some kind of a month long cease fire. This is through Pakistan. The prime minister of Pakistan has invited diplomats from the United States and whoever they could really scrounge up from Iran over to Islamabad where they are going to talk about these breaking details that were released over originally on Israeli's Channel 12 news. This was then confirmed by several American outlets including the New York Times. We know that three of the points right now are real. So we have three points now. Everyone and their brother is currently trying to tell you what the other 12 points are going to be. And we're going to get to those because they're very different from each other. But the first three points are, number one, a permanent end to Iran's nuclear ambitions of any kind with enriched material handed over to the United States, all enriched uranium handed over to the United States. Number two, Iran would end financial and political support for its regional proxies. And then number three, strict limits on the range, like the maximum range and the number of Iranian ballistic missiles. Now this is where we get into everyone and their brother coming up with other points. And you might guess that these particular series of points fit whatever pundit out there is suggesting in their view on the Operation Epic Fury and Iran itself. So for example, some of the points include removal of all sanctions on Iran, removal of the threat of sanctions ever being reimposed, the missile program to be addressed at a later stage, the refusal of any access to Natanz, Isfahan and Ford O those are the facilities that were struck during Operation Midnight Hammer, international monitoring and verification mechanisms enforced OOH that sounds like a lot of gibberish. Gradual implementation. Gradual implementation tied to compliance and then additional. I love these are points that there's being suggested additional regional and security understandings between the parties. Oh yeah, that's totally not made up at all. On the other side as well, suggesting that for future small range missiles that the United States is going to have to approve all of the designs. I would cool the jets just a little bit. There are a lot of people running out there and saying this is the sign that Trump is chickening out and that he's walking away. These are the same people who told me we were doing the forever war about 15 minutes ago. I will once again propose a slight alternate here based on additional data. The last time that the President of the United States said something along the lines of maybe we might do something totally different over with regard to the future of Iran. I don't know, haven't decided yet. Maybe we blow up a power plant, maybe we don't. Maybe I send over Marco Rubio. He runs for President of Iran. As soon as the President said that kind of stuff over the weekend and into Monday, the stock market shot up considerably today after this 1415 point super extra plan supreme broke on the social media scape. The price of Brent crude oil plummeted below 100 bucks for the first time in a couple of days. Now it's at 96.50 or was when last I checked it. Futures with Brent crude oil are allowed to kind of shuffle a little bit outside of market time. Now the President of the United States. Get out. Did get out in front of the public and make a couple of points today. This to our own Elizabeth Mitchell, our White House correspondent over at the Daily Signal.
Tony Kennett
Republicans have great policy. We have common sense policy. But it's great policy. That's our biggest advantage is our policy is correct. Yeah. Please.
Co-host/Guest
President, are you encouraging our allies in
Tony Kennett
the Gulf to be more involved in the Iran operation? Say it.
Co-host/Guest
Are you encouraging our allies in the
Tony Kennett
Gulf to be more involved in the Iran operation? Yeah.
Co-host/Guest
If you're having trouble hearing your set. Are you encouraging the allies? You know what else are you encouraging here? On the international scale of things in a little bit.
Tony Kennett
But more, more NATO. I think our Gulf allies have been pretty good. To be honest with you. UAE has been hit so hard. He got hit by 1,400 rockets. Shot them all out of the air with our great, with our great Patriot missiles. Think of it. They shot 100 missiles at one of our aircraft carriers. The Abraham Lincoln. One of the biggest ships in the world actually. And out of 101 missiles shot, every single one of them was knocked down in the sea. Think of that, Think of what that means. 101 missiles, highly sophisticated, highly, very fast missile shot. Out of 101. All 101 were shot down. And now for the most part lie at the bottom of the sea. Pretty amazing right?
Co-host/Guest
Now the President also made it clear on the diplomatic side of things, he says that yes, also the Iranian regime, or at least some facet of the Iranian political diaspora here, are trying to go for some kind of a deal so that they're not all lying at the foot of rubble.
Tony Kennett
But I can tell you they'd like to make a deal. And who wouldn't if you were there? Look, their navy is gone, their air force is gone, their communications are gone. That's the biggest problem. It's very hard to communicate them between themselves.
Co-host/Guest
And we know that for a fact because they keep showing up to meetings in person. And then that building is highly evaporated. Again, lest you, lest you think that I'm joking. Lest you think that even that may be considered old news. Yet another Iranian building where supposed diplomats and military leaders from Iran were meeting just in the last 36 hours has also been destroyed. So zoom isn't working. Microsoft Teams is haram. They're not allowed to use it. Nope. They have to keep going into in person meetings. They can't communicate by pager, you know, for obvious reasons. So the President is correct when he indicates to the American people that, yeah, I mean they really can't communicate. Now there are rumors flying that they're communicating through the Swiss government about the United States may be getting a 5% permanent little, little tip for the US a 5% stake in any Iranian future oil. No, I'm afraid not. If you've heard that story, that's fake news. That was a February unconfirmed report that was regurgitated quite consistently. And the President doesn't indicate anything about that in a financial scape when he's talking about a possible deal for a month. Cease fire.
Tony Kennett
All of the anti aircraft is gone. Most of their missiles are gone. We shot either shot them or they shot them and don't have them anymore. They're down to a trickle. They're pretty much everything they have is gone. I don't know, can you name one thing that's not gone or can you name one thing that's doing well?
Co-host/Guest
Oh, I can name one. Well, not, maybe not that's doing well, but I can Name one thing that's not gone. That would be the oil infrastructure over on Carg island in which of course, the expeditionary units over for the or I should say two of the expeditionary forces over from the Marine Corps are still on their way over. Additionally, according to our very own Virginia Allen and I'll have to hustle to get through this before we send the radio crew off to commercial break from our Virginia Allen, quote, the Pentagon is expected to send a combat team from the US Army's 82nd Airborne Division to the Middle East. According to multiple reports, this the elite 82nd Airborne Division is known for rapid deployment and quote, secures key objectives for follow on military operations in support of US national interest. Now the 82nd Airborne is also known for being really, really sloppy at formation and having perhaps one of the best E4 mafia that is in any of the Army's organizational structure. So God bless the 82nd and someone get those boys a couple of room temperature rip it energy drinks. Now, to be clear here, there are a couple of expected essentially on ready deployments that are moving forward, not for again invading Mahabad from the Iranian West. Realistically, what we've seen so far are shoring up of certain US Positions and bases in the region with a possibility of going in if the president directs and and grabbing some of the enriched uranium or moving in on Kharg Island. So while the Pentagon confirms certain levels of preparation readiness to move over to the Middle east, this does not indicate any kind of a major ground war, diplomacy, diplomatic angle, kind of eternal process here. And by the way, you can see some of this follow through in some of the sources that are coming from Iran. So Iran's come out so far and has said two things. First of all, Iran came out at least in the last 12 hours and said we're not negotiating with the United States. No one's negotiating. That's a complete lie. In the last six hours, they have come out again and said, actually we are negotiating. We just don't want to negotiate with Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. We would rather negotiate with U.S. vice President J.D. vance, according to sources speaking to CNN and the Telegraph. Okay, I guess, interesting, interesting flapjacks going on over with what's left of the Iranian regime radio crew, we're going to send you over to the commercial and talk a little bit about Macron and then the Department of Homeland Security fiasco that's starting to at least a little bit of a light at the end of the tunnel here on stateside. It's the Tony Knittcast here on the Daily Signal now, while the radio crew is over at commercial. We don't do that commercial stuff. If you're watching the live stream live. French President Emmanuel Macron also made an announcement today that raised a couple of eyebrows. He said, I spoke with Iranian President Masoud Pezahn today. I can't pronounce his name and I don't really need to because this is like the 14th Iranian president in the last couple of weeks. So it'll be a different guy with a totally different name to pronounce by tomorrow. Anywho, Emmanuel Macron announced he spoke with President Massoud and he said, I stress the absolute necessity of putting an end to the unacceptable attacks against the countries in the region, preserving energy and civilian infrastructure, and restoring freedom of navigation to the Strait of Hormuz. Incredible diplomatic nothingness. If you've ever spoken to anyone in kind of the political diplomatic world, what you've just gotten is 18 paragraphs to say nothing at all. He basically said, I want you to stop the war. Baguette, Eiffel Tower. I mean, that's essentially his diplomacy. He then urged Iran to allow the return to France of our compatriots Cecile Collaert and Jacques Paris, as soon as possible. Did Iran do that? Hey, hey, you guessed it. No, they did not. And I do want to make this clear, that whenever you have international condemnation of military actions of the United States, it is presidents or prime ministers or leadership, in the case of France, like President Emmanuel Macron, who are leaving their own citizens, their own countrymen. So much for fraternity equality over in Iranian prisons because he'd rather spite President Trump and NATO. So just a little something to keep in there. Now, from irgc. That would be the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps latest commander, Ali Akbar Ahmadiyyan. He says, for years we've been awaiting the Americans entry into the designated points. And for over two decades, we've been training with asymmetric warfare strategy, which he put out. He made a little hashtag on Twitter, asymmetric warfare. So that exciting technology used there from the Iranians and said, we've been training for this very moment now. Now we just have one message for the American soldiers. Come closer. Best of luck to you. I'm going to let you in on a little secret. The Department of War is not about to send American troops into a permanent occupation strategy here. That is not how the Department of War is writing these particular plans. But rest assured, whichever move the United States chooses to make here will be the exact same kind of move that the president articulately described to the press today from the White House. Now, that brings us over to that particular press conference and we'll get to some of the rest of the international news on that side here in a bit. The president today at that particular press conference was swearing in Secretary of Homeland Security Mark Wayne Mullen. Here was that moment today. He was being sworn in by Attorney General Pam Bondi. That moment.
Tony Kennett
Most nervous I've ever been. I don't it just seems surreal being in the Oval Office and having the president of the United States speak so highly of me and then recognize my family and know my family by name. It's humbling and I never take it for granted. But I made this very clear that I don't care what color your state is. I don't care if you're red or you're blue. At the end of the day, my job is to be secretary of Homeland and to protect everybody the same.
Co-host/Guest
Now, we're going to get into this kind of in the next segment about what it is that Mullen is bringing to the table. What it is that is still kind of left unsaid because the left, from Zoran Mandani all the way over to Gavin Newsom to J.B. pritzker to Tammy Duckworth, losing it over ice at airports, while again, a lot of Americans are consistently expressing concern. And the polling data shows this, by the way, the general the generic congressional ballot, meaning which would you rather prefer in Congress, Republicans or Democrats? Democrats are losing their lead in a midterm year. They have squandered all their political momentum, keeping the Department of Homeland Security closed. So amid that, Mullen actually has some work to do. And what he has brought forward into this particular instance is what Americans want to see. So far in the first address, what we got was the calm, disappointed parent, essentially the the airline pilot that all Americans really want to see to the point. This is what I'm going to do. Not a lot of emotion, not a lot of showmanship and nonsense. There you go. That is what Americans want. But are they going to be able to, by the Trump administration, by the Congress of the United States, deliver on these things that Americans are looking for? Sort of, yes. And so far, maybe not. We're going to talk about it. Don't go anywhere. We have to bring the radio crew back from commercial. It's the Tony Knitcast here on the Daily Signal.
Tony Kennett
Foreign.
Co-host/Guest
You're listening to the Tony kenned cast on 93 WIBC. Welcome back to the Tony Kenneth Cast. Lots more News to cover this side over on the vein of the Homeland Security news. So in the meantime, while now Secretary of Mark Wayne Mullen of Homeland Security was being sworn in, Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt appointed a state senator Alan Armstrong to the U.S. senate to fill the seat vacated by Mullen. Now there's a lot of whining and complaining that someone from Oklahoma might be involved in the oil industry.
Tony Kennett
You need to leave.
Co-host/Guest
We'll have to get to that later because the media is also freaking out about the Supreme Court. And I just paired all of the little freak out and the pearl clutching together in the show notes. We have a different kind of pearl clutching to dig into. But first the President of the United States on why he chose Mark Wayne Mullen and what the President expects Mullen to do as the Secretary of Homeland Security. And there's a lot to do right now so this kind of matters.
Tony Kennett
We had four years of horror. We had four years of disgusting horror, open borders and things that nobody would even think of. You wouldn't even think of. 25 million people poured into our country and we've gotten a lot of them out, but we have a lot more
Co-host/Guest
to go now that in and of itself is starting with something that is starting to lose kind of its, its savor, lose a little bit of its salt with the American people saying I really don't like Biden. Really bad stuff. Which by the way, true and correct. The President of the United States, however, does need to move to here's what we're going to do now. You can't really get by in midterms with things were really rough a couple of years ago. What you need is here's what I'm delivering and here's where we're going. And that's what the President shifts into
Tony Kennett
11,888 murderers came into our country. People came in from all over the world from prisons and gangs, gang members, drug dealers, people from mental institutions, insane asylums. That's the mental institution times two. And what they allowed to happen to our country can never be allowed to happen again. And it won't. With Mark Wayne. We have somebody that's strong, professional and fair.
Co-host/Guest
That's what I want, by the way, those three words, strong, professional and fair. Now last night while we were on the air, the Senate kind of snuck in and confirmed him, 54 votes in his favor. I believe that Rand Paul didn't vote in favor of him. But you know that that all set and aside, what about the actual national security news? What is it that Mullen is going to have to address. Well, right now it's ICE at US Airports, which the Democrats have decided that amid the horrible numbers they have on the Save America act stuff. Don't worry, Republicans are currently fumbling that we'll get to the GOP snatching defeat from the jaws of victory on that here in a minute. The Democrats are making it even worse for themselves. So if you're watching the live stream, you can see this is a tweet from Senator Tammy Duckworth. This echoes a lot of the various officials from the DNC official accounts all the way over to the pundits and the state level officials. She says, quote, it's unforgivable. Sorry, let me get out the pearls. It's unforgivable that Republicans would rather let ICE terrorize families at airports. You know, just some, just some small child carrying a Barbie backpack suitcase tackled by 15 grown men. Oh, the horror. The horror, says Tammy Duckworth, Senator. But then she continues, quote, then give TSA workers a paycheck and enact extremely common sense DHS reforms needed to protect citizens from being killed in broad daylight. Stop the chaos, get ICE out and fund tsa. Now. I will remind you that it is Tammy Duckworth herself who has voted against reopening the Department of Homeland Security multiple times. Guys, ICE is already funded. ICE is already funded. And the two reforms that Democrats yelled for the loudest, I should say, two out of the three, one, body cameras on ice. They're no longer yelling that, by the way, because whenever you put body cameras on police officers of any kind, well, that doesn't exactly go very well for the crew yelling about law enforcement. That aside, though, of course, Tammy Duckworth and the Democrats have also yelled for the end of using administrative warrants and only using judicial warrants, which isn't a thing. The Supreme Court of the United States and federal courts across the country have upheld time and time and time again that administrative warrants are fine for federal law enforcement to use. So that doesn't work. What's the other thing they wanted? They wanted Kristi Noem to get the boot and she did. And so there's really no reason left for them. ICE is already funded through at least 2027, but possibly through 2029, you can't really do anything here. And so what are they now flipping over to? They're saying, well, ICE is at the airports terrorizing people. They're terror. They're terrorizing people. So we gained some undercover footage today of what ICE is doing in these airports. Viewer discretion is advised Parents, if you have children, you might want to move them away. This is not something that should be viewed by the faint of heart. This is what ICE is doing at our airports.
Tony Kennett
He told me they're $4 up here, they're free with us $4 upstairs.
Co-host/Guest
They're handing out water to people in lines. I told you, I told, I told you, I told. Did I not share with you that it was going to be horrible? They're just joking around with travelers.
Tony Kennett
I thought you take our waters now and then you charge.
Co-host/Guest
Yes, ma'.
Tony Kennett
Am.
Co-host/Guest
You may water. Just regular people doing law enforcement stuff and of course aiding with the Transportation Security Administration. Don't make me pull up various news clips yet again all over even again, outlets like for example, cnn, but pointing out that, yeah, all of these big, huge lines are again, there are still heavy lines because TSA is not getting their paycheck. But again, well, there may be a
Tony Kennett
celebration here at the airport before it's
Co-host/Guest
all said and done, especially for the
Tony Kennett
folks who've been working nonstop extra shifts.
Co-host/Guest
If you look right here, you can
Tony Kennett
see this is the main checkpoint. Almost no lines, no waiting. Sarah, this is unbelievable at this.
Co-host/Guest
Gee whiz. Wow. So the Democrats are going all in and not just, you know, your senators, those kind of officials, Zor and Mamdani also has released. Not just he's, he's doing the number one thing. He's monitoring the situation. And he's also said ICE doesn't belong at our airports. Our Office of Immigrant affairs has updated guidance. Guidance, got guidance for dealing with TSA at the airports. Guidance, he says and you can call their legal hotline at 800-354-0365. That's 1-800-35403. And I did call their Office of Immigrant affairs today and, and, and did get to speak to someone very, very kind like get through some of the kind of the phone tree stuff. And, and I asked what I should do if I run into TSA at the airport. And the answer is nothing. So thank you, Zoran Mandani, you've done it again, Mayor of New York City. So, you know, really exciting stuff. The fear mongering over ice. You know, I guess they were going to come in and ouchless. All of the airports. There are some bits of news though, regarding the airlines. That would be America Delta Airlines. The American Air Company has announced that this week it is suspending its standalone service for all members of Congress until the Transportation Security Administration is fully funded due to the impact on resources from the long Standing government shutdown. Delta will temporarily suspend all specialty services to members of Congress which fly Delta next to safety. Delta's number one priority is taking care of our people and customers, which has become increasingly difficult in the current environment. So I do enjoy that those who choose to continue keeping the government shut down, that being Schumer and the crew, which we're going to get to in just a couple of minutes here. Yeah, a lot of the airlines aren't really up for cutting them a lot of slack anymore. Radio crew will catch you on the other side of the commercial. We're going to talk about just how short that slack is here on the livestream. It's the Tony Kennedcast. Now in the meantime, this brings us over to what the Senate is focusing on regarding not just the shutdown, but the Save America act voter ID law, which is wildly extremely popular with all political parties in the country. Arguably one of the easiest possible bills to argue with the American people over its necessity cases on, on voter fraud. Again, we're going to get to this a little bit later in the judicial news, but a judge, an election judge in Minnesota, pled guilty to allowing 11 unregistered people to vote in the 2024 election. Americans understand that there are states like California that forbid certain kinds of voter ID requirements in the state whatsoever. We've talked about this before in Minnesota that you show up with your voter id, you can vouch for seven people without their id. We've talked about this. Even a Mississippi law currently in front of the Supreme Court of the United States that allows you to mail in a ballot on election day instead of just going to vote. And maybe if that's counted a week later, hey, no problem. The Supreme Court's even casting some doubts on that particular legality. Americans understand the importance, but you have a lot of senators. I'm just gonna level with you. You have a lot of senators that are really lazy. That's the answer. They're really lazy and a lot of them are cowards. And they don't want to put forward certain measures or break certain rules or, or change certain rules in order to get this legislation through. Instead, they are resorting to this bold, brilliant, exciting new strategy. It's gonna, it's gonna knock your socks off. It's gonna be the superest wow possible. But before we get to some of that, I do wanna tell you what the Democrats are trying with this line. I promised it to you. So Chuckles Schumer has announced that the MAGA voter ID provision is a cover up to The SAVAX core voter suppression provisions. He's gonna be clear. He's gonna say, let me be clear again, here's Chuck Schumer being clear.
Tony Kennett
Let's be very clear. This amendment is a giant cover up.
Co-host/Guest
Oh, so originally it was Jim Crow 2.0, then it was anti woman something or other. Now it's a cover up. It's, ooh, it's exciting. It's, it's, it's a, it's a cover up and conspiracy. He's gon uncover it. Chuckles Schumer, Senate Minority Leader.
Tony Kennett
It was never in the original bill. The bill, 98, 99% of it, is about suppressing voters, taking them off the voter rolls unbeknownst to them.
Co-host/Guest
I like this. There's going to take all the voters off the voter rolls. No, again, the individuals who so far, according to a voluntary voter roll, hand in so 10 states we just reported on this in the last week gave up to the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Justice their voter rolls. Ten states and over 300,000 people on those voter rolls were found to be dead, gone, erased from existence. They're not here, so they shouldn't be on the voter roll. But Chuck Schumer's terrified. Oh, no. Also again, according to Attorney Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon, who is out there doing the Lord's work day after day after day, maybe 10,000 plus illegal immigrants found on those voter rolls as well. They're currently going through the records and checking they're not kicking off. Ma and Pa still around. I. But Chuck's, he's very worried about that. Oh, don't, don't just like go through and like look at who should and shouldn't be on the voter roll. I'm sorry, what reason would they have for removing people on the voter roll? They would have to give like some kind of a legal account for that. Right. Or you would have judges that step in and issue freezes and stays and holds and hang on there. And let's not get too hasty because that's what judges do when someone is disenfranchised. They say, hang on there. Now how is this difficult? We're going to dive into this on the radio side. Don't go anywhere. More to cover. It's the Tony Kennett cast here on the Daily Signal. Good evening, everybody. This is the Tony Kennett cast on 93 WYBC. Chuckle Sch. He's, he's mad, He's. The people are aroused, says Chuck Schumer. Well, he's being very clear that now the Save America act is a huge cover up. Now again, in a couple of minutes here we're gonna talk about this. The Republicans are in the middle of trying to seize defeat from the jaws of victory. When you have guys like that, like Chuck Schumer making your job super easy and he's not even the worst of the day, that would be Chris Murphy. We're gonna get to him. But again, Chuck, he's gonna be clear here.
Tony Kennett
Let's be very clear. This amendment is a giant cover up. It was never in the original bill. The bill, 98, 99% of it, is about suppressing voters, about taking them off the voter rolls unbeknownst to them so they cannot vote. When the.
Co-host/Guest
Now, now I will, I will agree with the idea taking people off the voter rolls. You should in fact take those who are dead. Again, 10 states offering up their voter rolls found 300,000 on them who are dead. 300,000 people. They shouldn't be voting. I don't care how many Chicago elections they voted in.
Tony Kennett
No Republicans saw that. Everyone saw through their so called voter ID amendment, which is not about voter ID but about suppressing the vote. They got worried.
Co-host/Guest
So they added this amendment to the
Tony Kennett
original bill and now leader Thune is going to ask for a vote on it.
Co-host/Guest
I do love this, I appreciate this. So he didn't want the original one that have everyone wanted. So he said, you know, well, they had this bill and now I guess that's kind of good. But now there's, there's this super duper secret, ultra scary amendment and this is what Thune is gonna bring to the table. Now this is unfortunately where the, well, I will say the worst senator of the country. A constant, constant battle. Chris Murphy of Connecticut says what a lot of Americans are, you know, worried about senators thinking, which is where the priorities lie. The priorities should lie are on keeping American citizens at the top of mind, making sure they're getting the services they needed, making sure their rights are protected, making sure nothing's infringing on that. The Democrats aren't really playing this particular game. Chris Murphy said the quiet part out loud. Now this is the kind of bad that does end up being campaign advertisement bad. But here you go.
Tony Kennett
The negotiation didn't have a path to citizenship.
Co-host/Guest
It was entirely on their terms in
Tony Kennett
order to get Ukraine funding. Right.
Co-host/Guest
Well, I mean, Chris, that's been a failed play for 20 years. So you are right that that has
Tony Kennett
been the democratic strategy for 30 years maybe. And it has failed to deliver for
Co-host/Guest
the people we care about most the undocumented Americans that are in this country. Oh my, oh my. The people we care about most that undocumented Americans in this country. Oh. Oh no. So again, the Democrats are currently setting themselves on fire. So what are we gonna do right here in the middle of this? Well, there's a brand new Republican plan because they don't want to just, you know, remove the filibuster, which Democrats are going to remove if they win in the election cycle anyway. So again, we're just gonna pretend, we're gonna cross our fingers and really hope that Republicans just walk through 2026 unscathed and they, they retain the Senate so that we can pretend. Yeah, everything's gonna be fine. Um, in, in the midst of this because Republicans don't want to get rid of the filibuster. They don't want to use the talking filibuster because they say, well, that would take a lot of time. It would really eat up a lot of time here in the Senate instead of just, you know, doing this 60 vote cloture rule. Well, they have one trick up the sleeve. They might pass things through reconciliation. So this is something that has been floated around by a couple of Senators. It's a, it's, it's a decision first floated by Senator Kennedy of Louisiana. I'll let him advertise it to you. And then our Elizabeth Mitchell, our White House correspondent, asked the President about this today. Here's Senator Kennedy making the case.
Tony Kennett
Senator Cruz and I a few days ago came up with a two step process to solve both problems. Step one, we would open up everything at DHS except ice, including tsa, which the Democrats have already agreed to. And then we would, we would fund ICE through reconciliation, which we could do only with Republican votes.
Co-host/Guest
So there's kind of a combined plan here. So the combined plan through reconciliation is that in one way we'll, we'll just go ahead and cut ICE completely out of DHS and pass the funding for the Department of Homeland Security, and then we'll fund ICE through reconciliation and, and shove a bunch of the Save America act stuff sort of, kind of into the reconciliation package. That's what we'll do. Cuz you only need, you know, you only need a simple majority 51 to get the, you know, reconciliation thing through. We'll just like pass it through reconciliation. Why can't we do that? That's a brilliant plan, isn't it? Uh, well, we'll let the President talk about this. Our Elizabeth Mitchell asked him about this today as well.
Tony Kennett
Mr. President.
Co-host/Guest
Would you be open? Are you hoping to see the Senate pursue reconciliation 2.0 to fund ICE and
Tony Kennett
pass the Save America Act? Well, we'll see about reconciliation. We're certainly talking about reconciliation. I think Mark Wayne, right. Do you want to talk about that for a second? Now that he's working, we can get him to do this. Thank you. Lindsey Graham, the chairman, where the reconciliation will funnel through. He is committed to making sure we get reconciliation through if that is in some form with funding, ice, possibly backfilling from the one big beautiful bill, but also more importantly, the Save American Act. There's a framework that we can do through reconciliation, paying for it, put some of the policies that cost money in because there's nothing more important than Save American Act. I mean, that's what the American people want. There's 80% of the population say they want only Americans voting, citizens that are registered to vote, citizens that have done it the right way.
Co-host/Guest
I'm going to say this once. If it is worth doing, it is worth doing right. What you are seeing right now. And so far, again, I like some of the comments that have been made by Secretary Mullen. The president of the United States has not directly called for this measure yet. I think that's why he pitched it over to Mullen to talk about it. So he's kind of open to some ideas, the Save America act stuff shoved into this reconciliation. You're going to get some serious problems with that. We'll let him finish his statement first.
Tony Kennett
And, and I believe that everybody wants an election in charity. So fortunately, Lindsey Graham has said through reconciliation, he's willing to put the framework out for that.
Co-host/Guest
Now, I'm going to level with you here. Just right out, right up front to level. That's not going to be a thing. That's not going to be a thing. First of all, the Senate parliamentarian is absolutely going to take any kind of telling states, hey, you have to do the Save America act. You have to do voter ID stuff and you have to give us your voter roll information. You have to make sure that people use these kinds of ID to prove that they're a citizen. The Senate parliamentarian is going to take that, put it in a box and set it on fire. That's not going to get through. That's not what the reconciliation process is for. That's not what it's for. And I'm sorry if we're just passing anything at all through reconciliation now. Well, then just screw the filibuster and do it anyway because you clearly think that if you. Well, we're just gonna assign it to reconciliation and then that's fine. Just saying the word reconciliation does not mean that you can just suddenly pass any laws that you want Willy nilly through. That's not a thing. That's just like Michael Scott declaring bankruptcy. It means nothing. And I will remind you that if you treat the reconciliation tool Willy and nilly wasting all of our time with,
Tony Kennett
well, we can't get rid of the filibuster.
Co-host/Guest
Oh, the filibuster. Then the Democrats are going to come in and sure enough. Well, well, well, how the turntables. They will then start passing anything and everything, including the kitchen sink, through reconciliation. You do in fact, live by the sword and die by the same sword. Now, here's the fun. Here's a little extra fun here. The measures that it appear they're going to do the reconciliation package through is essentially all Congress does and then brags to you about anymore, ever. And that is this. Okay, guys, listen here. States, if you don't use voter ID and if you don't give us your voter rolls, we're not giving you any money. Hey, guess what? That hasn't worked. That hasn't worked at all. It hasn't worked when we've done that with the Department of Education. It hasn't worked when we've done this with other states regarding the Environmental Protection Agency. It hasn't worked when we've done this regarding the FCC or the usda. It hasn't worked when you've done this with dhs. It hasn't worked when we've done this with the Department of Justice. It has not worked. Because here's what happens. You, you go out and you say, all right, new announcement. If you don't do what we want, we're not giving you any money. About five seconds after that particular legislation is signed into law, Judge Paula Zenis or Judge James Boasberg or Judge who cares MC Biden, Bush appointed him in, is going to write a little stay or a freeze or pause and say, you can't do that. You must turn the spigot on. And this blue state, California or Washington state or Oregon or Michigan or New York or Colorado, whatever, gets to do whatever it is that they want. You're not allowed to do anything. And then by the time that case finally reaches the appeals court maybe, or possibly the supreme court, it'll be 2031 and nothing will have gotten done. Now you say, but, but, Tony, the, the Republican senators said, yeah, this is called being lazy and worthless. I'm Sorry. Don't care. I'm not gonna lie to you and tell you that we can just sneak this through reconciliation. No, you can't. And also on that matter, in the US Constitution, as all of you know, the founders did not set Congress just up to be a financial blackmailing institution. They didn't just set Congress up to go, okay, now, if someone starts breaking the law, you. You threaten to be the. The cool parent who says, now, I'll take away your credit card if you don't behave. Mommy's gonna take the Mustang from you, sweetie. No, that's not what the founding fathers wrote. Congress to be. Radio crew will send you to the commercial. And if you don't come back, I'm gonna take away your Christmas presents. It's the Tony Kinnit cast here on the Daily Signal. Now, Congress was set up to bring people before the Congress, and then this crazy stuff happened. Then they impeach the judge. They impeach the judge that's acting wrongly. They file, they recommend charges to the Department of Justice, and then those things are. Those are seen through. I don't care.
Tony Kennett
I.
Co-host/Guest
You know, John Thune, you can even tell when he was asked about this today, because, by the way, John th. For all of his. His flaws, he absolutely knows when he's asked about this. Yeah, you're not going to be able to just sneak this one through anyway. Here you go.
Tony Kennett
Later. Good afternoon.
Co-host/Guest
Thank you.
Tony Kennett
Don't you risk alienating some of your base if you're unable to pass the Save America Act. And the idea that this could go
Co-host/Guest
into budget reconciliation, that everybody around here, including you, has indicated, that that's very hard to do.
Tony Kennett
Isn't that just kind of a wing and a prayer? I think that budget reconciliation, as I've said before, you have to have a reason to do it. And if we have reasons to do it, and we may very well may, and I think there are a number of our colleagues in the Senate. We just came out of a luncheon where this was discussed, and I think there's a lot of support for a budget reconciliation bill.
Co-host/Guest
We have two legislative vehicles, as you know, available to us, so we could
Tony Kennett
tee one of those up, and that's an option. And we'll see if that's what it takes to get some of these things across the finish line, and we can do it with simple majorities. We'll take a hard look at that.
Co-host/Guest
I'm going to level with you once, and then I'm going to move on. Do not let those who will give you one fifth of what you demanded, what is extremely popular with people in the United States. And again, the filibuster rule, which is about to evaporate like Thanos snapped his fingers anyway, and then tell you, this election season we passed some simple majority rules that were a real great benefit for the American people. Thank you. I'm Senator Old Manning do nothing Ston and I'm running for office. Screw that. No, absolutely not. I'm not impressed by absolutely any of this. Neither should you. My favorite quote of all time of my favorite movie comes from a man by the name of Fletcher in Clint Eastwood's the Outlaw Josie Wales, who looks at the senator and says, and I quote, there's another old saying, Senator, don't down my back and tell me it's raining. Americans will not. This is not how you gain the results that Americans are looking for. Absolutely not. Now, theoretically, I can't say, you know, that you should call your senators right now and encourage them to, you know, get rid of the filibuster and do this kind of stuff. But if you were to do so, I mean, you know, senators do pay attention to that particular kind of thing. Now, in the meantime, there are some crews over on the left that have decided to act like complete goofballs. Just they can't even take what should be a victory. There should be someone inside the Democratic National Committee going, oh, look, it looks like the Republicans are kind of chickening out here. And then they should run on that, but they're not doing. So instead we've got JB Pritzker standing on the grave of a young woman shot by an illegal immigrant yet again. We're going to talk about that here in just a couple of seconds. Don't go anywhere. More news to cover tonight. Lots more. And the judicial stuff is. It's something. Don't go anywhere. It's the Tony kid cast here on the Daily Signal. This is the Tony Kennett cast on 93 WYBC. So JB Pritzker is talking a little bit about this of kind of thing, but the great water buffalo of Illinois has decided that he's going to frame this as the president is Hitlering his way through midterms. I just. All right, I guess Donald Trump wants to stay in power at all costs. And his biggest obstacle is the midterm elections this November. I mean, if we're going to go in like physical size, the biggest obstacle would be J.B. pritzker. I mean, you know, just, you know, calorie wise. So on every front, he's assaulting the institutions of our democracy. He's trying to have the Voting Rights act overturned by the Supreme Court. He's attempting to occupy American cities with soldiers and uniformed ICE agents who are carrying automatic weapons. Trump is setting the stage to place federal agents. Now, hear me, there's a video of him just hugging somebody random. I, I, by the way, who you hire as a video editor matters. And when you're, when you're saying, like, hear me, he's going to hire federal agents, and then you just, like, cut to a clip of you hugging random people. Dude, this ain't the time for the, you know, the huggery. This would be when you show clips of thuggery, my dude. To place federal agents at polling places in November so that when his party loses control of the Congress, he can invalidate the elections, he can claim fraud and seize the ballot boxes. So you guys do realize that, like, they don't actually, the ways that law enforcement do when they interact with cases of fraud, that it's not done in any way, shape or form in the frame that he's setting up here. But of course, you knew that. No, the biggest issue from JB Pritzker today were his complete 180 flips here on the horrific murder of Sheridan Gorman. Well, this has been a terrible tragedy. And now just yesterday, he said, quote, the Trump administration needs to stop politicizing heinous tragedies like the murder of Sheridan Gorman, again killed by an illegal immigrant in Chicago. Now, Pritzker, though, after saying no one should be politicizing, he's got some politicizing to do here. Listen to who he blames. I know that the Gorman family has suffered mightily.
Tony Kennett
I agree.
Co-host/Guest
There have been real failures. Those failures, of course, extend beyond the borders of Illinois. That's their national failures.
Tony Kennett
A failure to have comprehensive immigration reform, a failure of the president to follow
Co-host/Guest
his own edict to go after the
Tony Kennett
worst of the worst.
Co-host/Guest
Hmm. You know, okay, blaming. Not really going to go the way that you think it is. But in the meantime, while you are told that all of this is, you know, some type of a huge power grab by the Trump administration, well, now we get over to some pretty big judicial news from the day. So, first and foremost, the Minnesota election judge pleading guilty to allowing 11 unregistered people to vote. Now, again, I was told, you were told this never happens, never happens at all. It's a big mystery. It's a figment of our imaginations. Well, Election Judge Timothy Scuton was the head election judge in the Batura Township precinct, according to Care11 Hubbard County, Minnesota. A man who served as the head election judge in Hubbard county pleaded guilty on Monday yesterday to allowing 11 unregistered people to vote in the 2024 general election, according to court documents. Now, you know, I. When you're seeing these kind of things that you're told aren't happening and then you're told by major left wing officials that, well, this is actually just a big, huge, you know, power grab scheme from the Trump administration. One would think the Senate would kind of push through and get the legislation through that Americans find extremely popular. No, in fact, the Senate and the House can't even get it together to impeach judges who have committed some of the most egregious wiretapping crimes against senators. I mean, violating espionage laws, violating rules about notifying senators, tracking congressional officials, tapping individuals phones. Not even based on, on terrorism and Patriot act stuff, but when Cash Patel was a just a regular US Citizen going after him and tracking him as Judge Boasberg authorized and then forbade telecommunications companies like Verizon and AT&T from letting these victims know. You don't even have senators and representatives that are willing to impeach and remove the man. This was Will Chamberlain and Senator Kennedy over on this today.
Tony Kennett
Mr. Chamberlain, I believe four telephone companies received these subpoenas for the phone records, the metadata of 20 members of Congress. Is that your understanding?
Co-host/Guest
That sounds right to me, yes.
Tony Kennett
Okay, I don't have time to talk about all of them. Let me just pick one.
Co-host/Guest
Of course he's referencing Arctic Frost again. The situation in which Jack Smith, the supposedly independent prosecutor magically created by the Department of Justice under Merrick Garland, went through and started tracking a bunch of Republican senators and a bunch of private citizens. You were very much not allowed to track the telecommunication information of U.S. senators. That is very, very, very, very illegal. Jack Smith was wrong to ask for these particular permissions from Judge James Boasberg In Washington, D.C. judge James Boasberg knowingly and illegally granted those record requests and what are essentially modern day wiretappings,
Tony Kennett
About 90,000 employees, I think $140 billion worth of revenue. Does Verizon hire dummies to work in this legal department?
Co-host/Guest
I should think not. They've probably got a good reservoir of lawyers to pick from.
Tony Kennett
Okay, I suppose you were one of the lawyers at Verizon and you don't strike me as a dummy.
Co-host/Guest
Well, thank you.
Tony Kennett
I appreciate that.
Co-host/Guest
So Will Chamberlain's over at the Article 3 project. Senator Kennedy gets around to asking what the damages should be like, what actually needs to occur, what needs to happen. If Judge James Boasberg, which committed these crimes, I guess he's asking me, just kind of taking his time through it. I'm going to skip forward because while I do love Senator Kennedy and his very Southern way of getting to the point, I really don't have time for a pleasure walk in the garden and a nice tall glass of extra sweet tea. Although that sounds fantastic right now. Representative, it would immediately raise that flag of like, maybe there's a legal exception here that doesn't apply in other cases.
Tony Kennett
If you were an attorney at Verizon and you got a subpoena like this, wouldn't you say maybe I need to check and see who Mr. Smith is subpoenaing here.
Co-host/Guest
Now, radio crew, we're going to send you out for the evening. Take care. We're going to continue on the live stream on YouTube.com daily signal. It's the Tony Knittcast here on the Daily Signal. Yeah, and especially once I found out it was a representative, it would immediately raise that flag of like, maybe there's a legal exception here that doesn't apply in other cases.
Tony Kennett
Do we know if the employee who received this subpoena at Verizon even sought a legal opinion from an attorney at Verizon?
Co-host/Guest
I do not know.
Tony Kennett
Well, let's just assume for a second that Verizon, sophisticated company that it is, is not so incompetent that they wouldn't have had a lawyer look at this. Lawyer looks at it and says, huh, Jack Smith. Lawyer looks at it and says, NDO signed by Judge Boasberg. Lawyer looks at the names as a reasonably competent lawyer would, they're members of Congress. If that was you, what would you do?
Co-host/Guest
Well, I'd make a few phone calls. I'd do legal research to confirm that complying with this order was obviously lawful and I might gently try and push back on the subpoena to try and understand what was going on.
Tony Kennett
Well, in fact, you would probably discover the law being the very competent lawyer that you are. That said, no judicial order can bar Verizon from picking up the phone and calling the member of what he's doing
Co-host/Guest
right now in his meandering fashion, he is setting up what could be considered in legal terms a series of damages. And the series of damages would then allow you to prosecute a judge, not just to impeach and remove and say, well, you did the wrong thing. But when you can actually list a series of damages, well, then the person has to pay some kind of restitution. So what Kennedy is setting up here is if you were a lawyer, what would you consider to be the series of damages at play?
Tony Kennett
Congress, wouldn't you.
Co-host/Guest
That's right.
Tony Kennett
You'd probably find that statute. And if you did find that statute, in order to protect Verizon, as you're their lawyer, wouldn't you have filed a motion to quash?
Co-host/Guest
That's exactly what I do.
Tony Kennett
Yeah, but Verizon didn't do any of that, did they?
Co-host/Guest
Apparently not.
Tony Kennett
They just sucked all this information up like a Hoover deluxe.
Co-host/Guest
Yeah,
Tony Kennett
they didn't even look at that we know of to see. See if these were members of Congress.
Co-host/Guest
So now he's lying out. That damages would be in connection to. Also, I'm not sure what the term for kind of like a legal neglect, kind of a malpractice. If lawyers are hired, that would then basically suggest that Verizon is also culpable, that Verizon is also hooked up to what could be outlined as the damages in this case. Multiple parties would be involved because people didn't do the stuff they were supposed to do. Yes, that's. That's right.
Tony Kennett
What kind of liability does Verizon have here? That's.
Co-host/Guest
That's a good question. I need to read the statute more clearly to see what the violent, you know, what the actual penalties are. But I would. My guess is there would be some pretty reasonable civil penalties for having done so.
Tony Kennett
What kind of.
Co-host/Guest
Now this is finally where we get to the meat of the matter. So what would actually be the penalties? What are the damages? What can the courts actually do here? He says, well, there'd be some civil penalties likely for Verizon remedies, if any
Tony Kennett
are there, for the fact that Judge Boasberg said that he had reasonable grounds to believe that these members of Congress would destroy evidence and that he made that conclusion without holding a hearing.
Co-host/Guest
I think the only remedy to that is political and impeachment. I don't think there's a unique. You can't sue Judge Boseberg for damages for his judicial decision making. So the only remedy is political. There you go. That's the thing. And this is something that you are going to have to. To reckon with going forward. Congress does have a job here politically. Judge James Boasberg has abdicated his duty, and he has done things that are illegitimate for the office. Now, you can go after perhaps Verizon for going along with these things, but it is very, very difficult to go after Judge James Boasberg on kind of a criminal prosecution route when realistically what should have already been done weeks and months ago is that he should have been brought before the House and then he should have been impeached and then the Senate should vote to remove. But you're probably not going to see the Senate actually move forward with this. And unfortunately, and we could play, you know, Senator Mike Lee of Utah talking about some of the wiretapping here, but the Senate's kind of been a little long winded for me today as it is. This does bring us over to some of the other news on this side. And this would be the Supreme Court news. So we talked about SCOTUS yesterday and kind of they're getting ready to rule on a number of cases. The New York Times today is losing it over a Supreme Court case in which the United States would no longer require the Department of Homeland Security to allow illegal immigrants basically to step over the border into the United States and declare I'm, I declare asylum and I declare I'm, you know, under threat from the country I'm running from. I get to be here as an asylum seeker. The Supreme Court is, according to the New York Times reporting, which is essentially just panicking, panicking, panicking. The United States Supreme Court, in hearing a series of arguments on the current federal law, would be able to look at those who are getting ready to cross the border from Mexico and say, nope, see you, turn around, go back, which right now federal law is not interpreted that way. So that would be a major change. So there's a lot of panicking. Over on the left side again, the Supreme Court hearing a series of courses and acting in the way that a lot of the originalist members of the court tend to act over on the Missouri Supreme Court side of things, their supreme court ruled today 4 to 3 that Missouri lawmakers can absolutely redraw congressional maps mid decade. This opens the door for Republicans to flip Missouri's 5th congressional by splitting Kansas City 508,000 individuals across three separate districts. So going to be really interesting to see how the Missouri map process kind of flows out going forward here. In other traditional news, a Pakistani national, Zhang Hungir Ali, again, I'm sure I'm pronouncing that super correctly, was arrested for a $46 million Medicare fraud scheme at the Los Angeles airport while attempting to board a plane back to Pakistan. Now, since this report, a judge in the Los Angeles situation here has already denied a cashless bail that was supposed to apply to him, which is an interesting thing. You actually do have some judges out there that are saying, yeah, maybe we're not just going to let people out who are clearly trying to flee the country in these fraud schemes. Now, I could funnel from there over to a pretty incredible moment regarding the Department of Transportation and of course the Department of Homeland Security as well, with individuals driving semi big rigs who can't speak English. But regarding the federal judicial system and kind of the interpretation of law in general, I want to quickly answer one question that came in from mail time just to make it clear before we kind of get to the end of the show itself over here on the bonus tonus side of things. So one question from a very kind user named Bob asks about the reconciliation process kind of why is it that Republicans couldn't just push through some of these particular measures, like the Save America act stuff, some of the Department of Homeland Security stuff through reconciliation? Reconciliation is just for budget measures. It's just for financials. And I thought I had indicated that through the idea that Congress wasn't just supposed to use finances to enact laws. But reconciliation is only really supposed to be about budgetary measures. And you're supposed to begin and end a reconciliation measure with the budget unchanged, meaning the same amount of spending is still taking place, the same amount of money coming in is still taking place. Nothing is supposed to change there. It's really a technical aspect, which is why it's something that can be done with a simple majority. So I wanted to clarify that because I feel like that gets into kind of the judicial and the law stuff before we move out of that, to a pretty crazy story from Florida today. And I say crazy because this is something that really should be happening across the entire country. But when we tell you here on the media side of things that there are illegal immigrants or foreign nationals who come into this country and who do not speak English and are not learning to speak English and are allowed to take driver's tests in any language they want, even though all of the roadsides and the road directions and all of that is in English, that when you pull them over, they can't read road signs. I'm not joking. This is a clip from today. So we're from FOX News. The moment Florida transportation officials pulled over a big rig trucker out of service after the driver struggled to understand English and read road signs. Check this out. He's trying to read a keep right sign. Can you say it in English, what that means?
Tony Kennett
What does that mean? How good is your English?
Co-host/Guest
So by the way, he's talking about like the keep right sign, he's saying it now. The Spanish word for right is derecho. He's not saying it. He's not saying Theo. He's not. I mean, I've listened to that before. He's. He's not saying keep. Right.
Tony Kennett
Can you speak any English?
Co-host/Guest
No, don't speak no English. What does that mean? Yes, what does it mean?
Tony Kennett
No, no, no. What does it mean when you, when
Co-host/Guest
you go down, you see the sign? What does that mean?
Tony Kennett
What do you have to do?
Co-host/Guest
He just says, no, no, no, no. Communicating with law enforcement is kind of an important part of being on the road, especially when you are on the US Interstate transportation system. You do need to speak to law enforcement. You say, well, Tony, why? I mean, that's really mean. You guys know there are these big, huge LED signs with the big glowing orange bulbs. So I guess they're not really led. Some of the new ones are led. Some of the old, you know, the classic, like the big, huge information signs that say, hey, in the next 12 miles or here's what's getting ready to happen. We don't have a road sign for. But something's out of the ordinary. Pay the bleep attention. And this guy has no idea. Anywho. Forty years, he says, I drove in Cuba. Okay? Guy says, okay, you don't speak enough
Tony Kennett
English to be operating from a vehicle. Okay. You also don't have enough knowledge of the signs to even say it. Okay?
Co-host/Guest
So this, right now, right now, you're
Tony Kennett
going to be placed out of service.
Co-host/Guest
Okay? Your CDL is revoked. Fantastic. Good. Huge praise to Governor Ron DeSantis administration. You know, all you have to do, all you have to do is follow the rules of the road and speak the language. And yet we see consistently those that are trying everything they can do to protect individuals from following those rules that of course put you and your family at risk. Now, that said, a lot of serious news today, A lot of heavy and, you know, unfortunate things to dive into. So we're going to just a smidgen of mail time tonight. And also I have a couple of extra excellent stories for you that I've been saving for a night when, you know, I'm really annoyed at the Senate, which, to be fair, that is. That is growing. But alas, one of these mail time questions was a very, very kind super chat. Again, you guys don't have to give super chats to ask questions. You can do that from the link to the discord in the description or of course, you can also throw that in the chat. Our crew will try to pick it up, especially if it's a busy chat night from Darth Bobcat. Any word on the Kurds? I haven't heard more reports since last week. Well, I thought I had mentioned in a previous broadcast this week, maybe yesterday, that the United States has begun a series of strikes of military strikes over in the western portion of Iran, essentially some Iranian Revolutionary or Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps facilities in the western provinces. Now, those are sandwiched between two mountain ranges. So if and when the Kurds decide to announce their independence and seize part of western Iran, they're going to have two problems. They're going to have the Iraqis in their own west, the eastern Iraq, and then they're going to have western Iran to deal with. So fewer IRGC outposts and stations. That's kind of what they're just not ready yet. I think they're getting ready, but kind of in the the as much as I hate to say it, because I definitely suffer from this, too, you often do expect things to happen right away. A lot of these things don't happen in a couple of minutes. You go back and look at certain kind of even modern military maneuvers, Gulf War onward, you still do have several weeks. Things don't always happen one after kind of the other, even though maybe that would be a lot easier on the news analysis and reporting side of things. So on Richard Lincoln's question about kind of more info on 3 to 4000 troops in an immediate response force from the 82nd Airborne over to the Middle east regarding that information, to give you a little more clarity on that than what we gave kind of earlier on in the show, the Pentagon is keeping a lot of the deployment close to the chest because the 82nd is a crew that you kind of always keep on standby. What I think is currently going on, if you want the analysis side, is that the Trump administration's kind of tired of not having crews on standby to exert force whenever they choose to do so. Having the Marines that now have to go through the wonderful global journey to get over to that region, if he wants to take Carg Island. Yeah, I mean, that's something that is also why I think you see a little bit of diplomatic stalling. If there is going to be kind of a final move, it's going to be an attempt to behead the administration's grip on the rest of the country. So we'll we'll have to see that. A very kind super chat from mil spec meets $2 super chat, says Schumer. Reminds me of the Old lady that Ernest plays. Yeah, I'll, you know, I'll, I'll take that from lady named Luna. She said, hey, I'm new and you popped up on my feed. You mentioned a 15 point plan that not even Trump mentioned. Who is your source for this information? Well, the primary sources at the moment would be the News 12 over in Israel, Al Jazeera, the New York Times, Fox News, the Associated Press, Axios, the Daily Caller, the Daily Wire, hey now, the Daily Signal and a couple of international outlets. The reason that Trump hasn't said anything about this in his videos and such is it appears that these particular points in the diplomatic strategy was leaked probably from someone in Witkoff's office or perhaps the Vice President's office. Those in the kind of satellite of the Vice President's office have been implicated in a couple of leaking things. There's a certain kind of isolationist wing of the Department of War that is under suspect of being leaked. I mean we just saw that with Joe Kent from the National Counterterrorism Center. So the reason President Trump hasn't said anything about it yet, he hadn't really done a press conference this evening. This was breaking right before the show. So that's kind of our news there. I try to say here's where the news is. But if you ever hear me say according to multiple sources, and that's how I chunk up a, you know, relaying some news to you, that means that the big outlets have reported it, the big ones anywhere, all of the affiliates, all the way from msnow, ABC to the online centric, the Associated Press and the Axios to the conservative corporate media. Your Fox News is in your Salem and Newsmax, et cetera. That's what I mean by that multiple sourcing. So if you're unfamiliar with that kind of style, for me, I try not to give you my citation list kind of as the former science teacher, but I guess I could stand to do that just a little bit more. So that aside, one last question. I do want to, I do want to dive, I do want to dive into. Tony, can we take busloads of Republicans and vote over in, over in the California election? I would never encourage you to commit voter fraud. I would never encourage you to commit voter fraud. I think that is a very funny joke. That is all I will say about that. So that side over, let's get into some of the last news that I wanted to share with you for the day because there was some really excellent stuff here. So first and foremost, and maybe not in newsworthiness but just because it's. It's really, really funny. Over in South London, new videos are showing squirrels getting addicted to vaping. And squirrels are getting addicted to vaping by picking up discarded e cigarettes and, and, and vapes here, here. So squirrels in the UK hitting the vape, all kinds. I mean, they just go nuts for it. Now here at home, believe it or not, squirrels are quite a pest. For this reason, squirrels will, if you're not careful, they'll get into your car, into the car engine block, like an engine block area in the front, and they'll chew up a bunch of the cords, especially around the transmission because the, Some of the, the inside, the lining on the inside of some of those cords, some of those cables, some of those tubes, hoses. That's what I was looking for. Have like a really sweet, sticky something that squirrels do get addicted to. I had the, the wonderful joy, I'd say, oh, I don't know, about 10, seven, 10 years ago of taking my dad's truck over to. Oh, man, probably longer than that. I don't know, 10, 15 years ago, taking my dad's truck to the shop because squirrels were eating the engine block from the. Or not the engine block, the engine area from the inside out. And the guys over at the Toyota place in Anderson started the truck once I got there and it threw a squirrel into the fan belt, you know, so squirrels, you know, picking up on the vaping. I don't know. Squirrels have a very addictive personality. There you go. Some exciting news from the day. Really, really, really good stuff. There's a. In Dallas now where they are removing the Pride crosswalk. There was a guy named Joseph Whiteside who was arrested today for attempting to repaint the Pride crosswalk. And he's been charged with misdemeanor graffiti on top of also having two outstanding felony warrants. I think that's funny. That's according to the Dallas Express, by the way. So I don't know, there's something about seeing individuals who are just out, just out graffiti and they're just tagging. It's just innocent good fun. Then finding out they have like two felony warrants also. You know, maybe if you have a couple of felony warrants, maybe it's not time for you to get out there and do social activism. Maybe, maybe you hide out there, chief. I mean, even the latest Pakistani fraudster had the intelligence, had the wherewithal to try to sneak out of an airport in la. You know, I instead out there painting the fried plaque. Incredible stuff. I was asked if I cared about this, and I'm going to level with you, I kind of don't. King Charles of the uk, not because of the squirrels, I'm told for totally different reason, is coming to address Congress for his first state visit. I'm not really going to watch that unless some of the members of Congress, as it's America's 250th dress up either like those at the Post in the Boston Tea Party and hurl Lipton at the old man, or they dress up like, you know, colonials and fire muskets into the air in the halls of Congress just to give the old man, you know, a good scare, a good spook. So that side of things, I do want to want to say one last thing of praise because we try to praise law enforcement when they stop major disasters before they happen. Some of these threats do come on the cybersecurity side of things. The Federal Communication Commission has now updated its covered list. These are things the US Is not allowed to import. So though you may get on to Temu.com or Amazon and order from amazing brands like Wooty and Shang, the goods and good bargain product value, you may order from those brands. We all do. You know, everybody loves getting on and checking out what new products are from the dropshipper Vulu Express. We all do. Come on. Well, you're no longer allowed to purchase routers and things from those companies. Nope. You want to order a router, something for your Internet at your home, you can't order that from Chinese manufacturers. You can't order Huawei Electronic, which again they just steal everything from American companies anyway. They're not exactly innovating. The reason is because consumer grade wireless routers produced in foreign countries include backdoors. A backdoor in technology is something that allows an external actor to, to gain access through the back door of the tech and cause a lot of havoc or leak data. The CIA pioneered this and one of the reasons we have so much insider information into Iran is because the CIA had installed a backdoor into some of Huawei's routers that were sold to Iran back in the mid teens and they were actually starting around 2011. So I don't know, I like seeing the FCC close gaps. Like maybe, maybe, maybe we don't just buy everything from China that has complete unfettered access to all of your data because if they have access to your Internet connection, they have access to everything else. So really good stuff there. All right. That said, I think we are going to roll it out this evening you guys have an excellent night. We'll be back tomorrow, 7pm Eastern right here. It's the Tony Knittcast here on the Daily Signal 8 nationally syndicated and first on 93 WIBC. Take care. ACC is a national grassroots advocacy organization dedicated to mobilizing young people in favor of pro market, pro innovation and environmental ideas. So we are in hundreds of communities across the country with tens of thousands of young conservative members. I'm here because I am a conservative environmentalist. I think for a long time, conservatives have not come to the table. But what truly unites all of these young people is a shared belief that

the ideas of freedom and free enterprise are the single best way to solve our environmental problems.
Co-host/Guest
While there's still work to be done, there are Republicans who want to come to the table and engage on climate in good faith. We are building the conservative environmental movement, but we're doing it by involving everybody.
This episode centers on three key topics:
Tony Kinnett examines the details and politics of the Iran ceasefire proposal, reviews current U.S. domestic security debates, breaks down the ongoing legislative wrangling over immigration and election bills, and highlights moments of political theater and controversy from both parties.
