Iran attempts to shut the Strait of Hormuz again after the IRGC refuses to stand down and continues firing missiles. The United Arab Emirates reportedly sends its Mirage jets to an Iranian refineries on "Lavan Island" on the Strait of Hormuz. Iran responds with ballistic missile attack against the UAE.

Let's get down to business. You're listening to the Tony Kennett cast on 93 WIBC on CYTV, here on the Daily Signal. Good evening and welcome to the Tony Knitt cast here on the Daily Signal, nationally syndicated first on 93 WIBC. We have plenty of news to dig into. Of course, the Iranian United States cease fire is hanging by a thread and may already be well and cut essentially right now what you have is the president of Iran, President Pizza and Pazakistan possess, who cares, arguing that the United States needs to abide by a series of rules and also tell everyone else to abide by the ceasefire rules. So essentially they're saying if the United States wants to keep the ceasefire and then the United States needs to order Israel to do a bunch of things and then also needs to tell the Gulf states, the other Muslim countries in the area that Iran has been firing missiles at, to do a bunch of things. And by doing that, Iran will think about maybe sort of kind of honoring the ceasefire agreement. Now, this is kind of cut across the grain in a rather interesting way, not first by Israel, but by the United Arab Emirates. So the UAE allegedly launched a strike earlier today on at least Levon Island. Levan island is in the Strait of Hormuz. It is right near again that small bend point where so much of the total tonnage that can flow through is reduced to just a 30 mile span. Sure, a heck of a lot wider than the Suez Canal, but there are a heck of a lot more, more weapons that could be pointed at you through that particular small point, that bend in the strait. And it's through that particular point that would give the United Arab Emirates at least a rather curious motivation to go after not only a couple of refineries on Levon island in the Persian Gulf, but also against possibly Seri island, which is not too far off. And there's a reason that we suggest at least on kind of the international front, that it's likely the UAE carried out this attack because the Iranian regime immediately released out through their Mizan state news agency that the UAE had carried out these strikes. And so in that kind of a situation, two things happen. First of all, you go to the country's foreign minister and you say, hey, did you do this? And then if he's smart, he will say, let me check with my superiors. And, and then he will use that opportunity to get away from you and then check with his superiors. If he's dumb, he'll answer right then and there. So far, what we've gotten is a third option, which is that the UAE has said absolutely nothing. They've said nothing, which is rather curious. But that's not the smoking gun, because anyone can refuse to answer questions that they're asked. The key is the type of jet that was observed in the strikes. So a lot of the late Cold War era, early aughts era fighter jets need to slow down and reduce altitude just slightly before delivering some of their strike packages. Now, the United States, of course, has built a fleet of fighter bombers that aren't so beholden to the traditional end of the Cold War era rules. But some of the other fighters in the world are kind of beholden to a little bit of that principle in physics. Now here is why this is has to do with the uae. The type of jet that has been seen in these strikes on both Levon island and Seri island today in the Strait of Hormuz. I know we're getting quite the geography crash course in all of the islands in the Strait of Hormuz. There's a quiz next hour. Don't forget to bring a number two pencil. The type of jet observed is a Mirage 2009 jet. And there are only two countries that are engaged in any kind of active military operation or active sorties that are being flown daily that use this jet. And there's only one of those that is in the Middle east at present. So one of the two countries that are currently engaging in active sorties around the world would be France. Given a statement from France's Macron, Very, very likely not France that carried out the strikes today against two Iranian islands in the Strait of Hormuz in the Persian Gulf. Here it's probably the uae. The UAE is the only other Middle Eastern country that even services the Mirage 2009 anymore. Now, again, on that particular note, there are a couple of kind of open source intelligence accounts that really pride themselves on getting information out there that immediately went out and said, well, actually the UAE didn't do anything of the sort. There's no evidence to suggest that they weren't a part of it at this point. There is a good amount of evidence to suggest if you're the only guy in the neighborhood. Again, the plot of the Great Gatsby ends with the hit and run of an individual being committed by the shiniest, fastest car owned in New York City. That's how they end up sending the police over to Gatsby's I know a silly example, but given the UAE is the only country in the Middle east that flies the Mirage 2009, if those jets are throwing up the strikes, you know, I know a lot of roundels and flags on the sides of airplanes have red, white, green and black. You know, it's the Middle east after all, that does seem to lean in that direction. And Iran did retaliate pretty immediately and they retaliated in two different ways here. So first of all, they issued a new round of ballistic missile and drone strikes on the Fujairah Habshan gas field and then the Al Mirar oil facility in the southern uae. So we do have a bit of footage from these particular strikes today. Some of it is a little shaky, but I think it's worth showing. So what is, what else is Iran doing right now and what are they suggesting? Because again, the ceasefire is supposed to be Iran puts forward a 10 point plan of super wonder and justice. The United states brings its 12 point plan or 15 point plan, whatever, a list, a fancy post it note full of things to do and then they'll haggle it out, they'll negotiate. Vice President J.D. vance will ask them to say thank you, we kiss me smooths, we go home. That doesn't seem to be the case because Iran is very upset about two things. First of all, they really don't like that Israel and Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, Hezbollah being the proxy terrorist group that those two powers are still fighting, they really don't care for that. And then number two, they really don't like other Gulf states like the UAE getting involved here directly. So this brings us to kind of the Hezbollah situation because Iran is trying very hard to shut down the strait. So they've announced the strait is closed, it's closed for business. There really wasn't a strong opening yesterday at the end right there. Again, going through the earlier part of today in that side of the world, they are demanding tolls already. So it's kind of closed. But maybe if you have like the easy pass, you get to like scoot under and go on through. They are now suggesting a $1 toll per barrel of oil on each boat. Now you can fit a lot of barrels on any shipping container. And this would also technically mean that empty boats are allowed to sail on through and also allow Iran to, you know, receive container shipments from China, for example. But they are also accepting payment in cryptocurrency. In case you were wondering just how ridiculous of a world we've gotten to this point, your Random dollar sign meme coins can now be used to pay for barrels of oil flowing through the Strait of Hormuz, or at least that's what they're claiming. According to the Financial Times. Now outside of Iran firing 2,800 ballistic and cruise missiles and drones at the UAE and their apparent retaliation, the Hezbollah Israeli situation is still developing. So Israel as far back as April 1 launched a new wave of offensives against Hezbollah which had not only been attacking in northern Israel but also had continued to attack non hyper Islamic faction on the Shia side, citizens in Lebanon, which was once many, many, many, many years ago a Christian country and then, you know, Islam does what it always does. Here's a picture or at least a small video, excuse me, of Beirut today. Some of the missile strikes the going into southern Lebanon. And this has Iran very, very upset. So according to ABC News, so this being forwarded from the Lebanese government and also some secondary reports with Hezbollah that again have to be taken with a bit of a grain of salt. 254 people, again no designation on civilian or combatant have been killed and another 1165 that would be 1,165 and have been injured. The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu stated that the ceasefire between the United States and Iran didn't really have anything to do with the Israeli campaign in Lebanon. Here was Prime Minister Netanyahu of Israel making that case through a translator.
Tony Kennett
And I would like to emphasize this is not the end of the campaign.
Tony Kennett (Host)
It is merely a preparation on our way to achieve all of our goals. You so this is going to develop quite interestingly because the Iranian regime, at least as far as the IRGC and the Foreign Ministry appear to be suggesting that the United States has to get, the UAE has to get Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Israel, everybody singing from the same song sheet before Iran even considers anything else. We're going to talk about that more on the live stream. Radio Crew catch you on the other side of the commercial break. It's the Tony Knitcast here on the Daily Signal. Now the Radio Crew is over to commercial. We do more show for you here. We don't make you sit through all of that extra commercial stuff if you're tuning in live. So that brings us to the rather bizarre terms that seem to be struggling from more communication problems than a 1980s sitcom. So the misunderstandings are afoot. A statement from the Iranian foreign Minister Arashi. He said the Iran US Cease fire terms are clear and explicit. The US Must choose ceasefire or continued war via Israel. It cannot have both the world sees the massacres in Lebanon. So again, the Iranian regime is making it very clear that the Hezbollah partisan terrorist activity is directly tied and linked to the regime, which again, many have been saying for quite a long time. He says, quote, the ball is in the US Court. I love it when foreigners use colloquials. And the world is watching whether it will act on its commitments. Again, those terms are not explicit. So while some New York Times columnists rushed out immediately today to say that the Iranian terms that they set forward were incredibly clear and to the point and the President had agreed to them in full. Guys, we are. You're allowed to read some of these statements in full before you go write articles and get ahead of your skis. So initially, the Iranians had put forward a plan in which they announced the United States had agreed to do all of this stuff like completely withdraw from the Middle East. Yeah, that ain't happening. Suggesting that the United States is going to basically help Iran raise money by tolling the Strait of Hormuz. Again, that ain't happening. And a bunch of other nonsense. And the President of the United States made it rather clear later. Yeah, that's not what was submitted to Vice President Vance and then was later sent to me. And the proof in the pudding over that comes from the press secretary. But the President put out today at noon numerous agreements, lists and letters are being sent out by people that have absolutely nothing to do with the USA Iran negotiation.
Carolyn Levitt
In many cases they are total fraudsters,
Tony Kennett (Host)
charlatans, and then puts in all caps worse. So he continues by saying they'll be rapidly exposed after the federal investigation is completed. Of course, there was an espionage arrest today in which a female member of Special Operations Command was arrested for leaking to journalists, which again, you're not allowed to do that on the inside, especially if you have intelligence clearances. But he said, anyway, there is only one group of meaningful points that are acceptable to the United States and we will be discussing them behind closed doors during these negotiations. These are the points. Essentially, these are the starting line, the basis on which we agreed to a ceasefire. It is something that is reasonable and can easily be dispensed with. And then he rakes CNN over the Kohl's for last night after we were saying things like, hey, let's wait a couple of minutes and see whether this is the actual list of 10 points. I made a whole production about waiting a couple of minutes to confirm some of these points and going through them with you and saying, hmm, these look really, really optimistic for the Iranian regime. And I'm a little bit suspicious. CNN didn't wait, you know, CNN didn't take a couple of seconds and hold on. And so in this particular instance, you have individuals like the New York Times from Seth Abramson suggesting that Vance and, and that Rubio and that President Trump and Carolyn Levitt, they're all lying because it was actually Pakistan that wrote up the ceasefire agreement and Pakistan made this case that all of these powers have to do the same thing. Guys, we have the statements from the prime minister of Pakistan. We do. We have all of those statements right here, right now. None of what he is alleging in this New York Times column is correct. Nothing. So we're going to pick up the radio crew from commercial in a second and then get into some of the updates again, the statements from the White House and other members around the world on this. More news to get into for sure. As a reminder, if you want to participate in the live chat over on the YouTube, which we do keep an eye on, you got to subscribe to the channel. So consider throwing a like and subscribing. We're going to pick up the radio crew. Be right back. Don't go anywhere. It's the Tony Kennett cast here on the Daily Signal. This is the Tony Kennett CA93 WIBC. All right, let's get into some of these statements and the chaos, the absolute shenanigans surrounding all of it. So first and foremost, the President of the United States, after making it, I'd say pretty clear that he wasn't a fan of all of the rumor mongering, kind of the intelligence leaking that was going on regarding this ten point plan and what the United States is and isn't going to do. The president made a, a case that was later clarified through Carolyn Levitt that, yeah, what Israel is doing with what Israel is doing with Lebanon, yeah, that wasn't a part of the ceasefire agreement. Israel's delegation wasn't invited to Islamabad. In fact, once they found out that the United States and Iran had agreed to a ceasefire, they were, how the French say, abyss off. So in this case, again, I'm struggling to see where we're getting this complete kowtow too. But anyway, here's the argument from Carolyn Levin or excuse me, Carolyn Levitt, White House Press Secretary to the media today.
White House Press Secretary
Sure. Lebanon is not part of the ceasefire that has been relayed to all parties involved in the ceasefire. As you know, Prime Minister Netanyahu put out a statement last night in support of the cease fire, in support of the United States efforts. And, and he's also assured the President they'll continue to be a helpful partner throughout the course of the next two weeks.
Tony Kennett (Host)
Is there any thought, though, that the President might like to see Lebanon included at a future date, given that it seems to be causing or potentially undermining the Iran ceasefire?
White House Press Secretary
Ms. Again, this will continue to be discussed, I am sure, between the President and Prime Minister Netanyahu, the United States and Israel and all of the parties involved, but at this point in time, they're not included in the ceasefire deal.
Tony Kennett (Host)
Now, she did make it kind of quite clear right there out on the floor that as far as the deal itself is concerned, that fundamentally all of the things that Iran were demanding and then had decided to go out and PR announce, hey, diplomatically, they've all agreed to it. It's all wonderful and amazing, which kind of humorously enough, is the kind of thing that Trump usually does to the other side of negotiation.
Carolyn Levitt
They've already said it's really good.
Tony Kennett (Host)
In fact, some are saying many such cases that these are the most amazing points that have been put in front of the public since Marilyn Monroe didn't wear a bra. Sorry. I mean, that's the kind of stuff that Trump comes out and says before the public. This is Carolyn saying that in a little bit more of a concise and less Trump fashion.
White House Press Secretary
The Iranians originally put forward a 10 point plan that was fundamentally unserious, unacceptable, and completely discarded. It was literally thrown in the garbage by President Trump and his negotiating team. Many outlets in this room have falsely reported on that plan as being acceptable to the United States, and that is false. With the President's deadline fast approaching and the United States military completely decimating Iran with each passing hour, the regime acknowledged reality to the negotiating team. They put forward a more reasonable and entirely different and condensed plan to the President and his team. President Trump and the team determined the new modified plan was a workable basis on which to negotiate and to align it with our own 15 point proposal.
Tony Kennett (Host)
All right? So right now, again, to make this perfectly clear, while Carolyn Levitt is outlining the terms of the negotiation, this really shouldn't be a surprise. It shouldn't be a surprise to the majority of the American people. Why? Because, again, to this particular point, when you start a negotiation, both sides bring a list of demands that heavily favor the sides bringing the demands. That's what you do. And so to make the case that they were immediately agreed to to start the ceasefire, no, not how ceasefires work. That's not how those things function. And Again, Lebanon is not mentioned. The fight between Israel and Hezbollah. JD Vance made this exact same case later today, I actually think.
JD Vance
And there's a lot of bad faith negotiation and a lot of bad faith, you know, propaganda going on. I think this comes from a legitimate misunderstanding. I think the Iranians thought that the ceasefire included Lebanon and it just didn't. We never made that promise. We never indicated that was going to be the case. What we said is that the ceasefire would be focused on Iran and, and the ceasefire would be focused on America's allies, both Israel and the Gulf Arab states. That said, the Israelis, as I understand it, again, I'm supposed to get a fuller report when I get on the plane, have actually offered to be, frankly, to check themselves a little bit in Lebanon because they want to make sure that our negotiation is successful. That's not. Because that is part of the ceasefire. I think that's the Israelis try to set us up for success and we'll, of course, see how that unfolds in the next few days. But look, if Iran wants to let this negotiation fall apart in a conflict where they were getting hammered over Lebanon, which has nothing to do with them and which the United States never once said was part of the ceasefire, now
Tony Kennett (Host)
that last part there, Lebanon having nothing to do with them, not the case. Iran does directly fund Hezbollah, but it is true they are different theaters. If you really want to, you know, get into the weeds here, you can say from the legal aspect not mentioned in the ceasefire, how about no? Number two, if Iran is making the case that Hezbollah is their own, then in this case, they are already at war, an active, hot war with Israel and should continue to carry this out. You can't have, you can't have multiple things that are against each other at the same time in this kind of a negotiation, in a ceasefire. We'll get back to some of that stuff here in just a couple of minutes. Far more news because the President of the United States had a chance to meet today with Secretary General Mark Rudy of NATO. And the reason the President is meeting with NATO leaders, or should I say NATO leaders are flying to the United States to meet with him, is that sentiment in the United states about the U.S. involvement in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, where we pour in tons of money and our troops to be stationed in other countries who do not pay their fair share to stave off the imperialistic advances of Russia or, or China or whoever it is this day of the week, that in return, the Europeans, after demanding the United States prop up all of the Defense of Ukraine, because Keir Starmer says he's not sending any troops to Poland. And then the other goofballs like Macron suggesting that, well, you know, I mean, really, that's the whole point of the United States, is to prop the rest of us up. Macron has also argued, by the way, today that the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah needs to stop in order to prop up the ceasefire, given that the French chose directly and specifically not to have a dog in this fight, up to and including signing some kind of a backroom agreement with Iran to push through a couple of ships for Malta that screwed over uae, who was supposed to be, by treaty, a French ally. Not really thinking that you get really a seat at the table here, man. Put the baguette down and walk out the door. But again, the NATO leadership is coming over to the United States today because the President is saying, well, you know what?
Carolyn Levitt
Why don't we just pull out our
Tony Kennett (Host)
troops from NATO countries?
Carolyn Levitt
They don't like us.
Tony Kennett (Host)
They think we're a bunch of uncouth dogs, so why don't we bring them on home? Again, kind of a difficult thing to argue against here is, of course, the President of the United States talking about this a little bit more today for Europe.
Carolyn Levitt
And I have to tell you, I'm very disappointed in Naito. Very. I think that Naito, I think it's a mark on NATO that will never disappear. Never disappear in my mind.
Tony Kennett (Host)
You know, excuse me. Yesterday, I believe this is from the President, not today, coming to see me
Carolyn Levitt
on Wednesday, they're going to say, oh, we'll do this, we'll do that. Now they all of a sudden want to send things, you know, but they said it loud and clear at the beginning when I spoke to uk, of all I would have said they would have been the first because they've been. They're the oldest. And I say, yeah, I'd love to have a little help. Said, no, sir, we'd rather wait till you win. I said, I don't need help after we win.
Tony Kennett (Host)
So, again, did you hear, hear the catch there? He said, we'd rather wait for the U.N. given that Russia and China directly and clearly vetoed the United nations resolution ordering Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz because it's an international highway, doesn't belong to Iran, what's the point of doing so? That. That's obfuscation. That is when you're trying to stall in order to keep somebody around. And Mark ready understands you can only play those games so long. Now, that does bring us over to kind of some of the other arguments because kind of on the bushy inside, you have Nikki Haley throwing out complaints and then you have the left going all in on impeachment territory. And then whatever you want to call, I guess, former Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene in the tinfoil hat, she walks around in radio Crew, we're gonna send you off to the commercial break. Continuing on the live stream with a couple more details. In the meantime, it's the Tony Kenneth cast. All right, while they are away, one other note I would, I would suggest there's been a lot of analysis from the high forehead individuals around kind of the general scope and sphere over whether or not the United States has lost moral high ground by attacking the regime that just killed 35,000 people. And look, I know that's a bizarre thing to ask if the United States has moral high ground over this. You know, that's a crazy thing to ask as far as a moral high ground stance. But I'll let the White House press secretary, Carolyn Levitt address that. I think she does so concisely.
Carolyn Levitt
How can the president claim that America
Tony Kennett (Host)
can ever have the moral high ground if he's threatening to destroy civilizations and not casting wars as fights against other governments? I love this. We're going to take again the president's statement and say, oh, well, really, what President Trump was doing again, making it clear again in the same truth social post saying God bless the Iranian people, that because he used the word civilization, this meant that Trump was hovering over the nuke button. We're gonna nuke everyone at once again. Oh, I guess we might have lost Internet connection here. Let's check what's going on. Give us a second check in what's going on. Sorry about that. We lost a feed for just a second. Apologize. Not quite sure what was going on there. But anyway, in this context, it's a little bizarre to see those who are making the case, the argument, you know, that kind of nonsense suggesting that the United States can't hold the moral high ground because Donald Trump sent out a tweet threatening the Iranian regime is he used the civilization. He's gonna nuke us all. Oh, my God, it's terrible. Guys. We've done this whole thing with the Trump presidency. Four years, the first term. That was the whole thing. He's got mean tweets. It's so terrible. Somebody break out the pearls. Clutch them as hard as you can.
White House Press Secretary
No, Andrew, I think you should take a look at the actions of this president over the course of the past six weeks and the actions of our brave men and women in our United States military who have taken out the essentially taken out the military of a rogue Islamic regime that has chanted death to America for 47 years, that has killed and maimed thousands of American soldiers over the course of the last five decades. The president absolutely has the moral high ground over the Iranian terrorist regime, and for you to even suggest otherwise is frankly insulting.
Tony Kennett (Host)
Now, that is true. Again, when you get to scorning in the press secretary position. It's a feature of the office at this point, but it is still, I would say, on point in this particular discussion. Now, the president did actually get a couple of of statements out of Secretary General Ruddy, again, talking about Naito. Would be useful to hear what it is that the president is considering. That said, though, I do want to shift over to kind of the last statement here on whether or not the president is considering withdrawing troops, NATO, that kind of stuff, and on NATO, can you tell? I mean, is the United States still considering withdrawing from NATO? Is that still a possibility? Ms.
White House Press Secretary
It's something the president has discussed and I think it's something the president will be discussing in a couple of hours with Secretary General Ruta and perhaps you'll hear directly from the president following that meeting later this afternoon.
Tony Kennett (Host)
Now, in the meantime, on the kind of left side of the aisle, there was an immediate just outrage, the 25th Amendment conversations, oh, my God, the president, he's crazy. He's out of his mind. He's going to kill us all. You might make the case you might make the case that right after suggesting that the dead man in office was totally fine and running circles around his staff, that falls a little flat. We're gonna get into that. It's the Tony Kennett cast. Don't go anywhere. Much more news to follow. Summer has come and pass. This is the Tony Kennett cast on 93 WYBC. Welcome back to the Tony Kenneth Cast here on the Daily Signal. Here stateside, there's a lot of news to dive into. First of all, the killer of Irena Zarutska in, of course, North Carolina, in the Charlotte light rail, you'll remember that DeCarlos Brown Jr. Got up and without any kind of provocation, the young lady doing absolutely nothing to him stabbed her to death. And until the man had walked away, the subway car full of people did absolutely nothing. Uh, and this individual, after arrested, we found out had been let out again and again and again and again and again. I should never have been let out. Back on the street. But now that the individual, this Decarlos Brown Jr. Has been arrested again, there is is new news from today that he has been found incompetent to stand trial. And that means this. That means that instead of this individual receiving swift justice, there now needs to be a special period where he steps off to the side and gets a little bit of mental health treatment, doesn't have to go to heavy super duper federal security prison and perhaps face the death penalty as he should. None of that happening. These are the kind of policies that Democrats are trying to keep in every single major city, whether we're looking at Abigail Spanberger or we're looking at New York City Mayor Zoran Mamdani Karl calling for violent criminals to be released from prison and blaming the police for showing up to domestic abuse, calls things of that nature all the way over to J.B. pritzker, who has consistently let out violent criminals in the state of Illinois. Instead, the focus is all on the impeachment routine. This is, this is the big thing, all right? We gotta do the whole impeachment shuffle. So Chuck Schumer. Chuck Schumer doing all of this goofball nonsense and in this particular case, now suggesting that the President of the United States has to be halted. He has to be stopped because Congress has to reassert its authority. And now the Democrats are going to force a vote on this War Powers Resolution fiasco. Whatever. Here's Chuck Schumer making that argument today.
Carolyn Levitt
I'm announcing that today the Senate will vote next week on the War Powers Resolution. Congress must reassert its authority, especially at this dangerous moment. No president, Democrat or Republican, should take this country to war alone.
Tony Kennett (Host)
Not now, not ever. Now again, we could sit here and talk about the hypocrisy of Chuck Schumer losing his mind here when he was defending Barack Obama doing literally whatever he wanted. But aside from that particular instance here, Chuck Schumer has had opportunity upon opportunity over several presidencies during his time in Congress to change the law regarding the President's authority to use the military. But he hasn't, he hasn't offered to sign on to any bills changing how the War Powers Resolution act works. None of that. None of that. But he's suggesting he's going to bring some magical vote, this, you know, force to the table here. I, I'm, I'm not entirely sure that that Chuck Schumer quite knows what he's offering here. The Senate has failed to pass war powers resolutions like three or four times in the last year. The Democrats have brought this to the table time and time again regarding Venezuela, then regarding Iran. It ain't happening, Capnan, no matter how many times you push this forward. Nope, not gonna be a thing. Now, on the other side of things, we have the impeachment charge. So the Democrats every five minutes are trotting out this, well, we gotta imp him right now because he's going to kill us all. So every couple of weeks, you have a new Democrat from the House or the Senate or a governor that runs forward and sounds the charging call for impeachment. And in this case, that brings us to Representative John Larson, Democrat of, you guessed it, Connecticut, because no one is pumping out disappointing candidates quite like Connecticut does. The dude, 77 years old and he served in Congress for 28 years. He has announced the president needs to be impeached. And does he actually cite any misdemeanors? Does he cite any crimes that the president should be impeached and removed for? No, no, nothing on the list. I've looked, I've read through his. It's basically Al Green's dastardly deeds undone, that kind of a charge. But brought up and repackaged slightly. JB Pritzker, fresh out of the Golden Corral in Illinois, fresh out from letting criminals onto the streets and allowing illegal immigrants to kill college students in Chicago. Well, J.B. pritzker, he's out here saying that the president has, like, severe old age, mental whatever. And that's why. That's why we've got to get rid of the president via the 25th Amendment or whatever. Here's Pritzker. President Trump threatened to wipe out an entire civilization. Let's be honest, there is something genuinely
Carolyn Levitt
wrong with this man and the 25th amendment.
Tony Kennett (Host)
I like that. Let's be honest, there's something genuinely wrong with this man, as though he hasn't been saying that exact thing for the last 12 years. I love whenever you have a really partisan person that wants to stop for a second and say, all right, let's say what's on my mind here. Let's step away from politics. And then they say the most political thing that they can possibly imagine. But anyway, here's his pitch. It's 25th amendment time must be invoked before it's too late, for the sake of our national security. Donald Trump needs. Nice of you to finally care about national security. I thought that that was Islamophobic, to be honest with you. But anyway, to go now. Now, this is a slightly different tune than what J.B. pritzker was singing not too long ago, you may remember during the Biden administration that when Biden was barely with pulse lying dead on Rehoboth beach, we didn't see him for weeks. This was JB Pritzker's explanation that I've been with the president of the United States many times. He is on the ball. The man knows more than most of us have forgotten. Hmm. So you'll have to forgive me if I don't particularly believe you here. Now, that said, there is a little bit more. The DNC is struggling, really, really struggling to continue messaging along the same lines because there are some Democrat senators who are up for election this year and they are a little bit concerned that right now in a lot of these key elections, that the Democrat chance to take the House still kind of hold strong in the midterm year, not completely unexpected, but on the Senate side, chances are slipping. And this brings us over to kind of the main free realm. What do you actually market to people? What do you communicate? Well, additional scorn is coming down the line for Democrats who continually participate in these mass script communication campaigns. We've covered some of these before in which Democrats will be sent a script and then they will sit down and record the exact same video as though they are just getting this idea for the first time. The problem for them is that just like in the middle of COVID when the video footage was released of all of these network TV affiliates saying the exact same identical thing on Covid, now you're getting video upon video upon video of Democrats here, there and everywhere making the argument that, or, excuse me, making the exact same arguments as though they're original and that you should trust them. It's not just pumped out political messaging stuff. Here's an example. I believe it was shared by Senator Mike Lee of Utah. Today you can see all of the Democrats doing the exact same thing. It's a little overwhelming of a clip, but you'll see what I mean.
Carolyn Levitt
When I win, I will immediately bring prices down starting on day one.
Tony Kennett (Host)
So what you heard in all of that cacophony there, the same clip of President Trump to start and then the exact same script to follow, that's not going to provide you momentum in this particular year, because a presidential election, which is where you can kind of run against somebody, is not a midterm. It's not a midterm. Now, again, that doesn't eliminate the concept and the conversation about momentum, but it means that it's not really going to hold water when you have announcements like this. After announcing that he would be delivering free buses this year. Zoran Mamdani is now suggesting it's very unlikely, if impossible. That is per Politico's reporting. So you had individuals kind of the socialist side of the Democrat Party, the only ones that are saying, here's what we're going to do. Getting into the small parts of power around the country where they are getting into office, whether it's the mayor of Seattle who laughs about being a communist, or Zoran Mamdani who have promised free buses and grocery stores and sunshine and childcare and everything in the world. And then when you actually dial into what they're delivering. So far, Zoran Mamdani has delivered, calling for violent criminals to be released from jail. Number two, he's held Kumbaya, Ramadan, singing circles in Gracie Mansion. And number three, he's allowed or he's required police officers to do nothing during blizzards and therefore allowing dozens of individuals to die from exposure. That's what. Hey, New York. That's what you ordered. Congratulations. And this is the kind of issue that is prevalent right now, really, in the broader political spectrum, because while there are serious crimes that are drawing people's attention, they're continually, the messaging that is being pumped out and maybe I should say aired out with the youth are all boiling down to these grievances over issues that truly no one, no one cares about. Radio Crew, we're going to send you guys over to the commercial side of things and get into some of this stuff here on the live stream. It's the Tony Kindid cast here on the Daily Signal. Let me show you what I mean. Here is a rant that is going viral on the left side of the aisle because she is claiming that grass, that owning grass on your lawn, a lawn made out of grass, is actually white supremacy.
White House Press Secretary
I can't stop thinking about how grass lawns are racist and like, based in white supremacy. If that doesn't make sense, that's okay. I guess it seems really obvious to me. It's. It's really upsetting. Bring back weeds, bring back clover yards. Look, can we just. Can, can anything just be okay in its natural state? Or do we just have to whitewash everything, make it a competition and use it as a sign of your worth as a human being in society.
Tony Kennett (Host)
Now, after the election of 2024, there was a small group of Democrats, Ezra Klein comes to mind who said, you know what? I know that we have some different kind of ideas on populist policy and what we need is a left wing party that Embraces abundance and that sets some of the social grievance stuff aside and, and addresses real concerns that people have. And that was signed on to by a very small number of individuals. And the DNC disavowed and threatened a group of Democrats that tried to meet in Virginia over this. And instead they ended up running Abigail Spanberger, who now is like the most unpopular governor of Virginia in modern history, who's doing the same kinds of stuff, the same kind of nonsense. So you would think that there would be a little bit of a pause and. Hang on a second here, hang on. Okay, maybe, maybe we don't go all in on the elbow licking nonsense and you know, going around suggesting that everything, everything, everywhere, all over is, is super duper ultra, extremely racist. Absolutely not. Absolutely not. And so what you have is Democrats in office, not just, you know, your random tiktokers like Zoran Mamdani announcing racial equity councils and committees because, yeah, sure, you may be having a rough time right now, but you know who really has it rough? Black and brown people. And so we're going to give them federal and state funding. Okay? And while today's true cost of living
Carolyn Levitt
measure confirms that the affordability crisis touches
Tony Kennett (Host)
every corner of our city, we know that these effects are not applied evenly. So often it is black and brown New Yorkers who are hit by the hardest.
Carolyn Levitt
This preliminary racial equity plan is the
Tony Kennett (Host)
first step in developing a whole of government approach to tackling that reality.
Carolyn Levitt
It is a plan that lays out
Tony Kennett (Host)
these first steps to solve decades of neglect and discrimination. And it places the work of 45 city agencies within a singular framework. Now, Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon, who by the day is becoming the crowd favorite as a replacement for the attorney general position. I'm gonna level with you just out of a matter of transparency. I am friends with Harmeet Dylan and obviously as a friend since back in my education policy and education writing days, I think she would make an excellent ag. But on how she investigates anybody and everybody right then and there, brings up charges, does the work well, I mean, I'd level with you going after this kind of stuff at face value and immediately getting down to work without a lot of the fanfare. Yeah, that, that's probably gonna be a lot more effective than just getting up in front of the podium and yelling and then doing a whole lot of nothing. Now on the flip side, we got to bring the radio crew back. A lot more news to dive into this evening. Don't go anywhere. It's the Tony Kenneth cast here on the Daily Signal the Tony Kenneth cast on 93 WIBC. Welcome back to the Tony Kinit cast. Let's give you a couple of updates on some of the news earlier on in the show. There is more before we go over to our Virginia Grace for a quick update on the Artemis 2 mission as it gets closer to Earth. There are a couple of dangers for that crew and I'm not just trying to bait you there. There are a couple of things that this Artemis mission is built specifically to test that we're going to get into. Heat shielding being one of those when you're heading 25,000 miles an hour, the heat shielding kind of matters. But there are some updates to the earlier situation regarding the Strait of Hormuz. So the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, is announcing that the enriched uranium in Iran will come out as in will be escorted, grabbed, taken out either by agreement or by the resumption of fighting. Now again, Israel isn't part of this ceasefire. They're not listed as a co signer along the Islamabad diplomats who signed between the United States and Iran. Just like there isn't a member of Hezbollah that was brought forward to the table from Lebanon. But the Israeli government making this particular case saying, you know, they're not out of the fight yet, they're not particularly done. I will say the President of the United States did just share this message in all caps, as the president often does. He says NATO wasn't there when we needed him and they won't be near if we need them again. Remember Greenland, that big, poorly run piece of ice? If the President of the United States did use this particular instance to somehow take Greenland, I mean, hey guys, you want to say that that's totally impossible. I will remind you often the funniest things are indeed what end up happening. Now we did tell you we were going to bring you some of the updates on the leakers who were sharing information to members of the media. And I told you that there was a very interesting situation that was developing with each conflict, whether we're talking about Cuba or Venezuela or troop movements or what units or what was being canceled or what craft were being sent or how many craft were being sent. And I made the case at the time that it was rather strange to watch one report come out from Reuters, one from the Associated Press, one from Axios, one from the New York Times, one over on cnn and then the international outlets getting involved. All of a sudden you had 15 different stories that were just a little bit different. And I made the suggestion that one of the things to watch out for would be an arrest in which an individual like that, that one counterterrorism guy, you know, Joe Kent, who lied about how his wife died, that particular dude who got, you know, canned for leaking, well, he quit in protests first. Now we have Courtney Williams. Courtney Williams is a former civilian who is suggested to be tied to Delta Force under U.S. special Operations Command. She was arrested and charged with transmitting secret and other national defense information. So not just. There are several classifications for intelligence data. I'm not going to go into the difference between, like, secret and no, foreign for national defense information. But she is charged with leaking information to journalist seth harp between 2022 and 2025. So I do believe you're going to continually see arrests that are brought forward when individuals who leak things to media. If you're in the media and you report on something that you have been told. Not illegal, not illegal. And since I've started doing the show and I've been asking questions to some of my friends and contacts on the ground over in the Middle Eastern regions, I've made it clear, hey, you're talking to a journalist, or as much as I hate to call myself that, you're at least talking to a broadcaster. And I'm likely going to share some of this stuff with my audience. And then you clarify the rules. Is it on background, is it off the record, that kind of thing. But when you have individuals who are inside the system, who are members of the military, who are members of the Department of War, you are not allowed to share things. There are rules that come with the security clearances. So that aside, some, you know, fun and interesting updates there, I will point out that there are a couple of IRGC proxies in Kiryat Hymona in southern Lebanon that have launched a new series of missile strikes. There is a small IRGC group that is believed to have fired on a couple of housing areas near an airport in Baghdad that are thought to hold, well, previously held U.S. diplomats in Iran. There's been a large blast heard, unconfirmed. If this is some kind of a drone strike or perhaps some type of an internal issue in Karaj, Iran, that's not too far away from Tehran. We'll keep bringing you some of these updates if we have. And again, as of this incident regarding the United Arab Emirates and the alleged strike at this moment, there is yet another source suggesting, and this additional source would be, according to Reuters, suggesting that it was indeed a Mirage 2009 jet that was seen and photographed striking two islands in the Strait of Hormuz today or earlier today, very, very early morning for us, but this date and time in the Middle east and again, the only operational crew in the Middle east that is flying those particular jets would be the uae. So we're still going to hold to it, looking most like them right now. And I'm sure if the ministry, the Foreign Ministry of the UAE wants to come out and deny it, they are certainly capable of doing so. Before we send the radio crew out and then we pivot over to some of our coverage of the Artemis 2 crew, there is a bit more on the update regarding some of the crime in the country. Arson as a manner of political and just general disgruntled activism appears to be on the rise. There are more cases so far this year in 2025 and then more cases in this administration of the President of the United States of arson meant to target through political maneuvering, therefore terrorism than there has been seen. Essentially, if you exclude the LA race riots as individual cases of arson, which the FBI changed, how they're kind of throwing those things together since at least the 1970s and likely in the nation's history, more cases of targeted arson as a manner of political terrorism. The latest example of this appears to be a 1.2 million square foot warehouse in Ontario, California. The Kimberly Clark warehouse of all things set on fire by Shamel Abdul Hareem. Again, 29 year old Shamel Abdul Hareem committing arson in Ontario, California. Now he's suggesting this is kind of more of a socialist grievance, essentially, quote, you may not pay us enough to effing live, but these bleeps are dirt cheap. There goes your inventory. All you had to do was pay us enough to live. All you had to do was pay us enough to bleeping live. Guys trying to pressure change. Officially, when you try to pressure a change by committing a crime, that is by definition terrorism. And the excuses and the arguments that are being made whenever again, individuals like Alexandria Ocasio Cortez are asked about these things. And the first statement that follows that up is, well, there are a lot of people that are feeling pain. And honestly, if you're feeling pain, then it probably isn't your fault. Again, I really don't think this is, this is the move here. Case in point would be Governor Gavin Newsom's latest wife. Now radio crew, we do have to send you out for the evening kind of to your your permanent commercial break. We're going to continue over here on the live stream. Tony Kenneth cast here on the Daily Signal that's YouTube.com Daily Signal. We will see you guys over there and be back on the radio side of things, not just continuing on the live Stream tomorrow at 7:00pm Eastern. So radio and TV crew, you guys take care. It's the Tony Kennett cast here on the Daily Signal. And we're going to continue on the live stream because there's way too much in the news to just let that off with kind of a warning. Gavin Newsom's wife is one of the individuals who has taken this kind of line that maybe, you know, terrorism or violence or murder or theft is okay because it's probably not your fault. Now, she equates this to running over her sister with a golf cart and killing her when she was 6. Now, again, that's a tragedy. Oftentimes when there is a situation regarding a child that results in the death of another child, that is a terrible and horrible tragedy that should not, I believe, based on some of the circumstances, impart permanent guilt on the individual. However, that said, equating that to a lot of the violent inmates in a California prison. From the governor's wife, here you go.
Virginia Grace
Matt had to be very raw when we interviewed the, the young men who were juvenile offenders in San Quentin. I told them about my own loss, where my, my, I lost my older sister a few days before my seventh birthday. And I blame myself for her death. And I share that because that they ultimately were accused of committing these violent crimes and sentenced for life.
Tony Kennett (Host)
Okay, I'm going to make this clear. Accidentally hitting your sister with a golf cart. Now you can say, Tony, you're being glib about this. No, I'm not. That is, that is what happened. She accidentally, she wasn't trying to hit her sister. And even if she was, she wasn't trying to kill her sister. There's, there's no, there's no scenario in which that was, that was the actual choice afoot. Here you are equating that to San Quentin, which is filled with many of those who are aged 14, 15, 16, 17 years old who have committed extremely violent, brutal, premeditated offenses and saying, I'm just like you were just the same, this Gavin Newsom saying, hey, I'm, I'm just like, I'm just like you black people. I also scored low on my satisfaction. First of all, oh, dear Lord. And number two, you don't have to do this. And it's really, really, really gross in this instance specifically.
Virginia Grace
And I think it shocked them that this, you know, blonde lady who was, you know, the interviewing them Had a similar story.
Tony Kennett (Host)
Hey, yo, man, I'm tough, just like you on the streets. Yeah, that's right. Yeah.
Carolyn Levitt
You.
Tony Kennett (Host)
You think you in here tough for murder? Well, let me tell you, I know exactly what you're going through. They needed. They needed. What they really need is a. Is a. This is every single middle aged, white blonde woman from Jennifer Welch to Nicole Wallace. What they really need is the white blonde woman to say, I know that you're in here, like, you know, thinking about things. What you really need to know is that I'm like an empath. Like, when Mercury is in Gatorade, I just, like, I just feel other emotions. And look, I'm, you know, you've committed violent murder. I'm the president of an hoa. We're just like the same, you know, I'm also like, hard on the streets, you know, yours is Martin Luther King Boulevard and mine is Shania Way.
Virginia Grace
So, you know, was perhaps in the wrong place at the wrong time and premeditated murder.
Tony Kennett (Host)
Ah, yes. Again, some of the individuals who have been sentenced to life in prison. Again, she's, she's talking about those who have been served a life in prison sentence where you. If you can make the case in front of a judge that it was a wrong place, wrong time or a crime of passion. Again, painting an imaginary situation where there's a guy and his. His girlfriend cheated on him. They're. They're. They're teens, they're in high school. He goes to find the guy she cheated on him with, and then he goes. They get into a fight and then there. There's a slip during the fight. The guy goes down and instead of the guy falling backwards, knocked out, he hits his head on like a brick landing and he cracks his skull open and he dies. He's not going to get life in prison. He's not. That's not going to be life in prison sentence. Premeditated, brutal, horrific acts of murder. Like the kid murders both of his parents kind of story. That's who gets put in life sentences in San Quentin. We're just the same, you and I. Is a weird thing. And this is right before Newsom's considering his presidential run. Well, considering it launching his presidential run,
Virginia Grace
but wasn't punished the way they were because clearly it was an accident. But theirs was probably an accident, too.
Tony Kennett (Host)
I want to make this clear when I make the case that people don't like kind of the podium Barbie goofy nonsense and they really don't like when Kristi Gnome announced, it's like it was like probably that's, I mean you don't even know it was like probably that way. I don't know, maybe people don't care for that crap. They don't enjoy it and they're not going to enjoy it anymore from her or when Tim Wall's wife said she loved the smell of burning tires, that's why she left the windows open so she could smell the burning tires during the George Floyd riots.
Virginia Grace
So anyway, I share that just because it, I guess, you know, I quite enjoy spending time with people and being real and there it is, it's.
Tony Kennett (Host)
I like enjoy like being real. Like I'm an empath. Like people say me and they're like, oh my God, you look like just like Rachel Green from Friends. And she like doesn't. I just can't believe it. You're just like so understanding. I can talk to you for hours
Virginia Grace
unmasking and showing them that it's safe to unmask themselves.
Tony Kennett (Host)
Okay, that's real special. Well, I'll tell you what, we're going to leave that for a second and get a bit of an update on the Artemis 2 mission because that crew, which didn't get to where they are based on being told by a blonde woman that they're wonderful and special even though they committed violent crimes. A crew of what happens when your kids turn out correctly again? Going to the moon for the first time around Moon. Some beautiful photo, beautiful photography, some of the most incredible images. Brilliant scientific feet. We're going to cut over to Virginia Grace on a couple of these updates and trust me, this is, this is some, some pretty edge of the seat stuff. As they get closer to Earth. To talk a little bit more about the updates on the Artemis 2 mission, we go over to our journalism fellow, Virginia Grace. Virginia, good to see you.
Tony Kennett
Hi Tony, thanks for having me.
Tony Kennett (Host)
So break it down for us, what's going on? I know the Artemis 2 crew is now on their way back to Earth and there could be a few difficulties or problems they might face as they approach reentry into the atmosphere in orbit. Break it down for us.
Tony Kennett
Yes. So the Artemis crew, the four person crew is on their way back from a ten day long mission, heading back to land near San Diego on Friday afternoon. They could face some danger as they come into the atmosphere. They're going about 25,000 miles per hour and hitting that speed, entering the atmosphere temperatures could reach upwards of 7,000 degrees Fahrenheit. So they're going to have a really hot landing.
Tony Kennett (Host)
So when it comes to that kind of heat shielding. I know that we kind of changed up how we did some of the engine technology going into this mission, how they were going to, you know, gauge up enough thrust. They did kind of a gravity slingshot shooting it towards the moon. Is there any kind of an update to the heat shielding? Or is this something that's kind of NASA's bread and butter, the same kind of stuff that we've been using over the last couple of decades.
Tony Kennett
So on the first Artemis mission back in 2022, the heat shield actually didn't hold up the way that they were hoping to or expecting it to. So they had to take some time and they were thinking about redesigning it, how they were going to approach this Artemis 2 mission when they had real life humans on board. So they redesigned the trajectory that the spacecraft will be taking as it comes back into the atmosphere, and so it will come in slower with less heat, so hopefully it will have less damage.
Tony Kennett (Host)
So are they. Are they trying to kind of bring it in at an angle? I know you maybe have some kind of visual aids perhaps to explain this to us. And they're not just going to Ram at 25,000 miles an hour right at the surface of the Earth?
Tony Kennett
No. So we've got the moon here and we've got our daily signal spacecraft, Artemis, Orion spacecraft, right here.
Tony Kennett (Host)
Very, very nice.
Tony Kennett
So the spacecraft has already headed around the moon. We're going to do like some crossover here around the moon. And now it's back over here.
Tony Kennett (Host)
The Muppets. The Muppets have nothing. So. So, you know, picture. Well, we'll do a little visual aid here, pretending that the moon in this case is now the Earth sphere of influence here. How are they sending it towards the Earth? Obviously they're not just going to like, shoot the Earth 25,000 miles dead on, 90 degree perpendicular angle.
Tony Kennett
So the Orion spacecraft with the Artemis 2 crew is going to be using the moon's gravitational orbit and the Earth's gravitational orbit to head back into the Earth's atmosphere. Now, it will be landing with about 11 parachutes after it's entered the atmosphere. And along with those parachutes keeping it, slowing it down, I guess you could say the Earth's atmosphere will actually slow it down as well. So it's going to be bringing the heat, but it's also going to be helping the spacecraft slow down as it launches the 11 parachutes and will splash land into the Pacific Ocean about 60 miles off of the coast of San Diego. So that's kind of the point of this whole Artemis program. So the first launch into the second launch. This is all a test mission. The astronauts have been in space for eight days now and they have been up there testing different emergency situations as they've been up there. NASA has been examining their physiological response to different situations and they are now preparing for landing.
Tony Kennett (Host)
So the idea being that if the Artemis 2 crew can go through all of the things you maybe just can't pick up in the simulation chamber, actually going through the different things that might go wrong in the middle of nowhere, that by the time we get to the Artemis 3 and 4 mission trying to create some type of lunar base, hopefully a lot of these things aren't up for chances they might have been during the Apollo missions.
Tony Kennett
Yes. So that is what America. This is all leading up to what America and NASA have in plan for the Artemis program. They eventually want to have a permanent lunar base on the moon to eventually lead to Mars exploration.
Tony Kennett (Host)
Excellent. Well, Virginia Grace, thank you so much for your coverage. Keeping an eye on things and of course our four man crew as they are making their way back to home. Thanks again.
Tony Kennett
Thank you.
Tony Kennett (Host)
All right, real quick before we get to some of the bonus Tonus stuff for the show this evening, a quick update here. Just want to make this kind of clear as far as our standard, it is kind of set. A lot of people have asked in the last couple of days as things continue to grow. And we are extremely grateful for those of you who have chosen to make us a part of your daily routine. We're thrilled and honored kind of the standards on mailtime questions, getting questions in. What's the best way to do it? The best way to do it without a doubt is over. In the Discord. In the description there's a link that'll take you to our Discord channel. That is where we have a little mail time channel just for this because to be honest with y', all, so many messages have started flying through the chat, it's really difficult to keep up with all of them. And you say, well, I mean you could just read super chats. That is true. But I do not want to tie our subscriber questions or those who tune into the show and ask questions. I don't want to tie that to a payment system. We're incredibly grateful for those of you who donate. That is really, really kind of you. If you are desperate to donate. DailySignal.com donate again. DailySignal.com donate that's the way to do it. Again, really kind. We'll try to get to those but on the inside, like for example, you know, hit Turbine asking if we have a moon base while the woman wear shiny silver mini dresses and you know, sport, you know, Widow's peak pearl wigs. Well, we'll try to see those questions. We may not see all of them. I have no comment on tiny 1960s era space fashion. Only if the guys have to wear the awkward Buzz Lightyear fishbowl and like the weird Flash Gordon collar that they made fun of later on Futurama. So anyway, yes, going over to the Discord, the link to that is in the description. That's the best place to submit a couple of mail time questions and we'll get to those. And then of course some of the super chats tonight. So if you like the show, again, liking subscribing, that makes things really nice on our end because hey, that's a great way to engage with the show. And again, we really do read all of your comments. We really appreciate you guys coming over. So now it's time for a little bit of mail time. Mail time. Tony Kenneth cast. So first of all, from Monty, he says, so the leakers who jeopardize the rescue for in this case the League jeopardized the rescue of the downed F15. Will this leaker be uncovered and what do you think will happen if and when they are? Well, if it's the, the leaker is inside the administration, when that leaker is found, they're going to be arrested because you're not allowed if you're inside the administration to leak classified intelligence. You can't do that. Now they're hunting the journalists. They say, well, we'll arrest them. There are a couple of rules and things that you are and are not allowed to do that in a time of conflict could damage the United States. So the idea that the First Amendment is so perfect that it allows you to act against the United States in the middle of a military operation, that's not always the case. So for example, During World War II, if a journalist would have said and this week where FDR is gonna lead out D Day, like that's that would not have been allowed. No. So there are a couple of rules there. I think that it'll end up being a question for the federal judges to decide for the journalist side of things. Cuz anyone can just slap a journalist label on their chest and say, oh, I'm allowed to do whatever I want. That's not a thing. Next from, from Tammy Howard Jackson says, you know, Tony, have Democrats in the wild started to wake up to their party's corruption and destruction, or are we as a country truly that divided, so kind of recognizing the rod in one's own house? The answer to this is that on the inside of the DNC there are a couple of individuals who are rather exhausted with scandals that are really unnecessary. So I'll remind you that Ken Martin, the head of the Democrat National Committee, he is the former Minnesota Democrat Party chairman. In Minnesota, it's called the Democrat Farmer Labor Party, although it's had nothing to do with farmers for a very long time. So Ken Martin and the DNC do not issue statements during those times. Most likely you see Democrats trying to avoid them. All it is doing, and there is an effect. The effect is not they're going to suddenly vote Republican. The effect is they're just not going to come out to vote at all. And we saw this in Georgia, by the way. There were so many voters who were tired of Marjorie Taylor Greene that the winner of the special election, the Republican, lost, or excuse me, won the election by a much lower margin. But the total number of votes cast in that special, that special election were fewer for the Republican and for the Democrat. So people, Americans, Democrats and Republicans alike, are just becoming really disinterested. They're just kind of tired of everybody. And, you know, fair understandable for sure from Evo, why are fuel costs rising in the United States? Even though we don't use much, only 5% of our petroleum coming from Middle Eastern oil. So the short answer is that it's a global market. And so whenever a price of bananas goes up in one place, it goes up in other places. The global market works. I mean, you don't really have, I mean, maybe a small, small margin, wherein, if you go to Michigan in the fall, apples are cheaper there, sort of. But when you go to the grocery store, apples are likely going to be the same, whether it's a Kroger in Michigan or a Kroger in California. There have been a lot of pundits on the right, a lot of analysts, economists, who have explained this far better than I could. Now, there's an allegation that it's price gouging, and I would argue that's less likely than you think. I would say that it's more the general transport costs and recognizing the supply and the demand does factor in. So how is the United States different in this case then? Well, the difference is that unlike the 1970s when the US got more of its oil from overseas, the United States isn't going to run out of Oil here, it's just going to get more expensive during the conflict. And then once that's over and the global oil supply returns or it props up or pops up in other places, then you are going to see that price continue to fall. But the supply issue side of things, yeah, there's no shortage on supply. That's why it's different than the Carter administration specifically. And again, this stuff changes because crude futures and crude pay per barrel differs from most to most and coast to coast is kind of the argument there. So that said, on to some of the very kind super chats, as far as Nancy Tharp is concerned, she asked a question as to whether or not I could help kind of understand the Iran conflict as a whole. And I hate to do this to you, because whether or not you're still around, you may have to send us another message. What do you mean by understand the Iran conflict? Like the nature of it or the goal or where we're going next? Because my answer is going to differ based on kind of the specifics. I wouldn't count myself maybe as special enough or the authority enough to say, all right, kids, let's talk about the Iran conflict. Where it comes from, what it is and where it's going. That'd be probably a little exhausting. So that brings us over to Mass. Who gave a very kind $10 super chat and said, what does Trump have to do for, you know, American? He says American psychos to stop hating him. Does he have to turn water into wine in front of him? No. There. The President of the United States going into the second election, all right, going into 2024, it's all baked into the cake. There is no one who is left undecided on the President of the United States. No one. There's no one who's suddenly going to go, hey, you know, I really used to hate Trump, but all of a sudden that's not happening anymore. So there's nothing that can be done. I mean, humans are naturally very obstinate people. I mean, we are proud and arrogant and stubborn unto death. If you don't think that's the truth, try being married. All right, so moving forward, from Kevin, a very kind $5 super chat as to President Trump and Netanyahu helping the Kurdish, the Baloc, the Azeri and the Persian rebels, freeing Iran by giving them weapons. Starlink and then intel and air cover, well, my dear friend, that's already happening. I alluded to this on yesterday's show that the gun running has taken a little bit longer than was Planned. But yes, there are several groups that are already attempting to supply the Persians, the Kurdish, and then, you know, the Balak, the Azeri, the other ethnic minority rebels with firearms. Now on the far eastern side of the country, next to Pakistan. Excuse me, next to Pakistan and Afghanistan. Well, a little more to it than that. And that once you get into the different goals and motivations of the different ethnic groups. I tried to write an article on this on the Daily Wire and kind of go into what I thought was going to happen. My actual prediction, kind of the Balkanization of the country. And editors usually ask you to fit certain articles into word counts. So for this one was about 800 words fitting. A brief explanation of all of the different ethnic pockets of which there are many, all of them with like between several hundreds of thousands, up to millions of individuals in those ethnic minorities that hate the regime. Well, gee whiz, we, we'd be here all day talking about the different motivations and histories of those groups. And doing it accurately is something else entirely. So that's probably a bigger one for another day. Another question very kindly asks whether or not I think that Iran was pushed into the ceasefire. The Associated Press reports that it was China because China's getting a little desperate, short on oil. I'm going to wait a little bit longer. I would not be surprised about this, about China. While not really wanting the US to claim victory, Iran being told by China, hey, we don't really have anything else to give you here. You need to open the Strait of Hormuz or things are going to get a little bit nervous for us over here because again, President Xi, President Xi is struggling with some approval ratings. You know, I think that in the not too distant future, you might see another push from them. This would be the divide between the presidency in Iran and the irgc. Again, the irgc, the paramilitary, they're a military, but the non state militia, the religious force, essentially the ss, but for radical Islam that runs the country militarily, is not technically the official army or air force of Iran. They're not really the same thing. And President Pizekian, you know, President Pizeki, Stan, President Pez dispenser, he's not quite aligned with the irgc. And so it's a question of did Iran pressure the President of Iran, or excuse me, did China pressure President Pez dispenser, or did they sort of pressure some of the irgc? Unlikely. If you really twisted my arm and said, what do you think might happen? Purely on speculation. And I want to make this Clear. I'm not putting this in the official prediction jar. This is just purely my own thought. Based on this, I'd say it's much like, much more likely that you don't see President Pez dispenser for very long. I think that the IRGC and kind of the last of the secular government who again had to get Mukhtaba Khomeini appointed in a coma by gunpoint. Yeah, yeah, I just, I just don't see that lasting for, for very long. Do I see the ceasefire lasting for very long either? I don't, I don't see the ceasefire lasting for very long. And you know, there's some interesting parts and parcel to that last question. A very. Again, another very kind super chat from Kevin here. Should we pull out of the NATO and pull back to the Great Britain? He says not Great Britain or pull way back to our new US territory of Greenland. So pulling out of NATO does not mean the United States is not and should not be anywhere else in the world. So to kind of clarify what I mean here, I think that alliances are only as useful as what you get out of them. I don't have a big issue with alliances as long as both parties are given the goods. But if both parties aren't giving something useful here, if Europe is just with us because we're paying for things so they can throw more money towards their crappy healthcare systems, no, that's not useful. And the answer to your question there is what should the United States do? Well, then the United States should establish bases or, or certain territories that are our outposts. That's what works. Then you don't have to go to some country and say, oh by the way, we're going to do this on this base here. No, you just simply have a territory. I will remind you that is what we did with Guam. That's probably more effective. Now I would say alliance is to strengthen Japan should be remilitarized and should become a full ally of the United States. Honestly, if not a vassal state. I'm sorry, that's just the truth of the matter. The United States, if the United States is going to do foreign intervention, then it should go full Teddy Rooseveltian imperialism and we should talk about reintegrating the Philippines, reintegrating Cuba as a non voting territory and a, you know, purge of the communists. Go ahead and integrate Alberta and a few other places because if we're just gonna do things, we should just do things. But you know, while I'm wishing for things, I'd really like a pony. So that all said, I'd say that's been a great show. Good stuff. Lots of news to cover. Thank you guys very much for tuning in. We will be back tomorrow, 7:00pm Eastern. Same great time, same great place. Same again. You like the show? A like and subscribe really helps us out.
