Tony Kennett. Tony Kennett. Tony Kennett. Tony Kennett, host of the Tony Kennett cast. Let's get down to business. You're listening to the Tony Kennett cast on 93 WIBC on CYTV, here on the Daily Signal. Good evening and welcome to the Tony Kennett cast here on the Daily Signal, nationally syndicated, first on 90. Now, to be clear up front, the headline of the show that has trouble in front is not about the NASA Artemis 2 crew. We are keeping an eye on that crew. They are preparing to detach. The Orion space capsule is perfectly fine at the moment. You can hear in the back they are getting ready to go in a blackout period on comms. So they will not be giving any more verbal updates, but we will follow their detachment and, and then, of course, the move to splashdown, which should conclude by about 8, 10. We'll get into some of that, though. The NASA stuff is coming. The trouble is all over the ceasefire. And the reason the ceasefire is in deep trouble is because while the talks are scheduled to begin tomorrow, meaning the ceasefire should really be as safe as it's ever been, there's not a lot of ceasing of the firing going on in the Middle East. In fact, there are several countries, in fact, all of the Middle Eastern countries are expecting these talks to fall apart. They are trying to rearm and refit as quickly as they can. Of course, Vice President J.D. vance is now over along with Jared Kushner in Islamabad. Here was Vice President J.D. vance answering a couple of questions about the incoming negotiations and the list of demands from the Iranian regime. And then, of course, the United States demands from its point proposal. Here's the vice President. We're looking forward to the negotiation. I think it's going to be positive. We'll of course, see, as the President, United States said, if the Iranians are willing to negotiate in good faith, we're certainly willing to extend the open hand. If they're going to try to play us, then they're going to find that the negotiating team is not that receptive. So we're going to try to have a positive negotiation. The president has gave us some pretty clear guidelines and we're going to see. So I hope you guys have a safe flight. We'll certainly take some questions later on, but for now, let's get on the plane and hit the road. So also besides just Vice President Vance, Jared Kushner as well as and here's where the reports get a little interesting. According to the New York Times, it is Vice President JD Vance who seems to be the one playing hardball here and essentially telling the Iranians that there is to be no enrichment of uranium of any kind. Now, Jared Kushner had earlier, and this being before Operation Epic Fury began, offered for the United States to help the Iranians enrich uranium, or, excuse me, help the Iranians enrich uranium. Say that five times fast in order to provide civilian nuclear power, as long as there was overwatch and not the JCPOA overwatch, where they brought in International Atomic Energy Agency individuals in and sat them in a waiting room and brought out the exact same uranium rocks as last time and said, hey, look, the same low level of enrichment, while meanwhile, satellites were picking up radiation spikes of the mucho level that was not the same old dusty rocks that were being brought before the international agency. So that said, and forward, what's going to happen over the next couple of days? Well, apparently the talks are happening in a both direct and indirect fashion. That's CNN citing a U.S. official. Now, I have no idea what holding both direct talks in which I'm sitting across the table from you and I'm smelling your halitosis and you're admiring my devilishly handsome good looks, or, excuse me, Vice President J.D. vance sitting across the table from the Iranians is going to be like. That would be direct. Indirect would be through proxies and mediators. So interesting to see here the head of the Iranian parliament, their speaker, that being Golubov, has strutted out to the tarmac. He has landed in Islamabad, Pakistan. You can see the Iranian officials meeting with the Pakistani delegation. You know, getting off the plane, the procession, walking away, doing the kisses on each side of the face 15 times. Very European, also kind of like Mukhtaba Khomeini, you know, very dude, kissing each other kind of stuff. Couple of flower bouquets and then the walking away from the facility. That is a lot more peaceful than their trip to Islamabad. And the reason I say that the Pakistani jets, the fighter jets that had to be dispatched to escort the Iranian delegation, because there are no Iranian jets left, you can't exactly fly with a flank of suicide drones on your left and right, had to deploy flares. So in the easiest explanation here, you pop flares when you believe that someone has some kind of missile lock on you. It creates a heat signature that, that you are hoping will fool the missile that has been fired at you. You can see here the flares being deployed, and that is by one of the Pakistani fighter jets. So we don't really know anything else at this point. Given the again, drastic reduction in flying things over Iranian airspace. Not entirely unsurprising. Now, according to the Israeli Defense Force as well as a military source inside the Saudi Arabian government, both countries, the two largest brokers of power in the Middle east being Israel and Saudi Arabia, are rushing to get all of their missile defense systems back online, get damaged systems up and ready to go, and most importantly, get any kind of fragmentary and bomb shelters up and operational. Because they believe that the United States talks with the Iranians are going to fail. And there's a reason why they believe that the United States talks with Iran are going to fail. Basically this comes from a huge amount of goalpost shifting. So originally this 10 point plan that was issued from Iran said, all right, look, as long as you just start this big cease fire up front, we'll open the Strait of Hormuz, we'll get to talking. While we're talking, have a little ceasefire here. Then it became, all right, not only do you need to make sure that we're at ceasefire, but also Israel and Hezbollah, which is the same as the Iranian regime now, they need to be at ceasefire. Then it became, okay, well also, also we're going to start tolling boats as they sail through the Strait of Hormuz. And now that has elevated to, and also, also, also two additional measures that need to be agreed upon, including the ceasefire in Lebanon. Now you need to release all of Iran's blocked assets prior to the commencement of negotiations. Essentially you need to take billions and billions and billions of dollars in banks across the globe that have been seized as Iranian assets and return them to us. Now that's a little bit suspicious. And it's not even the United States who appears to be the grumpiest about all of this. China is really unhappy with Iran at the present time because China has lost 37% of its total oil imports from the Strait of Hormuz since this has begun. And since it gets 33% of all of its oil and petroleum products from the Strait of Hormuz and Iran directly, this means that right now China's struggling between about 15 to 20% of its total fueling, like diesel, jet fuel and gasoline of its military and civilian craft in the country, there is still a major jet fuel shortage in China and many of the other Chinese allied Asian countries, like Vietnam, for instance. Now the President of the United States made it clear that the Strait of Hormuz is going to open one way or the other. Here you go. The President of the United States this afternoon.
C
What's going on? They're militarily defeated and now we're going to open up the Gulf with them, with or without them. But that'll be open. We're going to be or the strait, as they call it. And I think it's going to go pretty quickly. And if it doesn't, we'll be able to finish it off one way or the other. It's going well. The Navy is gone, the Air Force is gone. All anti aircraft is gone. The leaders are gone. The whole place is gone. So we'll see how it turns out. So it's JD And Steve and Jared. They have a good team and they meet tomorrow. We'll see how it all works now.
B
For a lot of the international community is really struggling. They're very unhappy. The reason they're very unhappy is that all of the little narratives that had been lined up are kind of falling apart. So one of the particularly hilarious narratives over the last couple of weeks has been that China has had the greatest oil reserve ever. All of these huge tanker, just tanker after tanker after tanker after tanker. They have oil for days, no problem at all. And then a major cyber attack occurred in China in which a hacker was able to gain access to a central Chinese Communist Party server. And now in what is probably one of the greatest announcements to the international community since the Soviet MiG landed in Japan and we found out Foxbat was a paper tiger or really a flying refrigerator. A lot of the Chinese schematics which are being poured over also have revealed that China has essentially no oil reserves whatsoever. And kind of like in the early stage of the Chinese Communist revolution in which Mao made the decision to export food in the middle of a famine, it appears that under President Xi, China continued exporting more and more and more oil while they were holding on to less and less and less. So that now not only some Chinese analysts but also several other Southeast Asian analysts suggest that China doesn't even have the fuel necessary to go through a landing invasion in Taiwan. The Taiwan Strait, guys. That's not exactly a wide body of water. Radio crew will send you to the commercial covering more of this news over on the live stream, it's the Tony Knitcast. So what does this mean? Because again, we don't make you guys sit through all the commercial break. We keep going as long as you're tuning in live here. Well, what this means right now and is that the Chinese are essentially pulling more and more support away from the Iranian regime, which is a really rough burr under the Saddle for the leader of the Iranian parliament as well as President Pez Dispenser. So President Pazikistan, President Pazur, good, whatever. He's struggling because the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, is completely opposed to any kind of deal or any kind of an off ramp between the United States with new atomic or ballistic missile standards, a different out on the Strait of Hormuz. And these things are being communicated in a manner that means the IRGC is putting out one kind of communication, and then the president's office, the parliamentary offices in Iran, state media are putting out slightly different demands and expectations. That's not a sign going into any negotiation, but moving forward. If China is trying to get the President of Iran, President Pez Dispenser, to take some kind of an off ramp and the IRGC is saying no, it's going to put the regime itself between its own rock and hard place. And this is something that was referenced by the Qatari Ministry of Foreign affairs earlier this afternoon. And the reason that Qatar and Saudi Arabia and Bahrain and the UAE are starting to get more involved, more and more and more and more involved in these particular negotiations is that finally Iran is in a place where all they can do is now throw their very last gasp at the rest of the Muslim region's oil reserves and oil transport pipelines and gas refineries. That's it. That is the last thing they have up their sleeves, which means the entire balance of the Middle east is about to shift. And you can hear that, by the way, in how the President talks about things moving forward. So, first of all, regarding the Iranian, the IRGC's attempt to leverage some kind of a toll. So Iran is saying they are issuing tolls, but some of the craft that are going through the Strait of Hormuz have not actually been reached out to or given any way to pay some kind of toll to the Iranian regime. Essentially, Iran's telling everyone, hey, we're tolling people. And then when the boats go through and say, all right, who am I paying this toll to? Instead of a credit card reader, they're being handed a cardboard box and Sharpied on the side. As you pay toll here, this is what the President of the United States indicated today as well.
C
You have a good team and they meet tomorrow. We'll see how it all works out.
B
You're not going to let them hold as great, are you? I mean, it's international.
C
No, we're not going to let that. It's international water. If they're doing that, nobody knows if they're doing that. But if they're doing that, we're not going to let that happen. What would a good deal look like for you?
B
Now? The last question, and this is just something that I particularly enjoy is that the journalist right before he hops on the plane asks, well hey, are you gonna like do another round of talks if these don't work? Are you gonna stop, are you gonna stall, tell us what's going to happen? And the President of the United States correctly says I'm not telling you what's going on. Quit asking me this crap. And you know what? We'll see what happens. This is a one and done talk or are you open to more talks after this?
C
I don't know. I can't tell you. I have to see what happens tomorrow. They're, they've been talking for 47 years with other and we're not doing much
B
talking in the meantime. A lot of probably for the first time in about 60 to 70 years, for the first time, a lot of tankers, a lot of the oil barrel transportation vehicles, you know, whatever you want to call them, planes, trains, automobiles high on the seas are making the trip around the bottom of Africa over to the United States, attempting to buy from the west plant refineries in Texas and Louisiana. Because if you can't get the oil from Iran and through the Strait of Hormuz, you got to get it from somewhere even if the prices are higher. And so it's really bizarre seeing a string of ocean faring vehicles making their way to the United States, to the Caribbean, to the Gulf of America, off the coast of Florida, Texas, Louisiana, etc. And purchasing oil from us in the meantime. Again, it is not a shortage issue here but more of a global price issue. Now that moving forward means that if the Iranian regime is not able to unfreeze assets, they're not going to be able to fundamentally keep China and Russia in the loop on further kind of IOU economic payments. That's going to be a serious problem. Now we're going to cut over to the commercial break, pick up the radio crew. We'll be back in just a second. Don't go anywhere. Way more news to cover. It's the Tony Kennett cast here on the Daily Signal. This is the Tony Kennett cast on 93 WIBC. Welcome back to the Tony Kennett cast here on the Daily Signal. Here on the domestic side of things, we're just back into a full fledged circus. So in the House of Representatives, the Republicans and the Democrats are focused on Completely different things. And the core focuses of Congress are not at all what Americans are paying attention to regarding Congress right now. So the House Oversight Committee, of course, with Melania Trump, they're trying to bring the Epstein victims back before and put them under oath. We're going to get to that. On the Democrat side of the aisle, all of these calls for impeaching Trump and little War Powers Resolution Acts have been overshadowed by a major scandal out of California. According to the San Francisco Chronicle, Representative Eric Swalwell, Democrat, who is currently running for the governor of California and up until this scandal was, according to all of the betting markets, in the lead of the polling. He was kind of sort of the lead of the Democrats, who the main three were tied at about 10%. A couple of weeks ago. Eric Swallow was kind of the favorite. Now his chances of winning are down to 4%, according to Polymarket. In two weeks, he's gone from the mid-60s down to 4%. Why? Well, according to the San Francisco Chronicle, Eric Swalwell after a a series of very creepy Snapchat messages, a a young lady claims Eric Swalwell sexually assaulted her twice. Says she woke up in his bed with no clothes on. She is 17 years younger than he is. The first incident reportedly took place in 2019. So the woman says that she was hired by Eric Swalwell at the age of 21. And at one point in 2019, Eric Swalwell pulled out his ahem and asked her to perform oral sex on him. She did so in a parking lot. According to the San Francisco Chronicle. Later that same year, the former staffer says she was invited out for drinks. She says that she became so intoxicated she doesn't remember the rest of the night. But she woke up with no clothes on in Swalwell's hotel bed the next morning and essentially said that she could feel that that she was violated the night before. And here's the catch. Swalwell, the dude has been married since 2016, which definitely comes before 2019. Uh, the woman says that she became so inebriated while getting drinks with him after can barely remember any of the night. She says that she remembers saying no as he forced himself on her. Says she was sexually assaulted by Swalwell. Says she blacked out and woke up once during it and told him to stop at one point. That is the direct quote from the San Francisco Chronicle. The woman's friend and then boyfriend says that she told them about the alleged assault the next day. According to the San Francisco Chronicle. Specifically here, quote, this happened One other time when I was working with him, but I convinced myself I was an equal party in it, even though the same pattern, I blacked out and then he had sex with me, end quote, she wrote, referring to the 2019 incident. Now, two things since this initial story came out. First of all, several staffers on the Eric Swalwell team have resigned. So several members of Congressman Eric Swalwell's staff have tendered their resignations. And Swalwell issued a statement to the San Francisco Chronicle. He says, quote, these allegations are false and come on the eve of an election against the front runner for governor, end quote. He wrote, for nearly 20 years, I have served the public as a prosecutor and a congressman and have always protected women. I will defend myself with the facts and where necessary, bring legal action. My focus in the coming days is to be with my wife and children and defend our decades of service against these lies. So there's a couple of issues with this. First and foremost, I do, however, right up front here, I think the individual who probably sums this up best would be Brad Palumbo, libertarian over on X. I've known Brad for many years. I think he's pretty accurate. He says, quote, there's actually pretty significant corroboration here. Far, far more evidence than Christine Blasey Ford ever had against now Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, which at the time, you may remember, Eric Swalwell argued was completely disqualifying. Remember, believe all women, her testimony means she need that. Brett Kavanaugh needs to step away and needs to be investigated. Oh, this is terrible, all this extra stuff. Brad continues saying, quote, not only must he drop out of the governor's race, he needs to resign from Congress. So concerning now, this all starts in a way that a lot of these scandals seem to start, is that Eric Swalwell was Snapchatting his staffer, this young lady who worked for him. Now, I'm gonna once again point out that's a bit of a problem for any if. I'm sorry, if you're over the age of 30, you shouldn't have Snapchat. If you are married or in a relationship, you should absolutely not have Snapchat. Well, that's really prudish from you, Ton. I don't care. An app where you can send messages and pictures to people and that delete themselves over a certain period of time. That entire app is just built on the fabric of adults trying to be horn dogs to each other and to children. No, you shouldn't be on Snapchat. Well, that's not what I use it for. Okay, that's real special. That's great. You should be on Snapchat if you're married. Nope. And also, again, I'm going to level this. Older men in politics. Why are you reaching out and hiring the youngest lady staffers that you can. Again, I'm just, just a couple of questions that some might have asked beforehand that at the time, some would again trot up the. Well, you know, he's, he's very respectable. Except the time, you know, that he got duped by Fang. Fang. Christine Fang, the Chinese spy. We're going to be interested to see how that story develops over the next couple of weeks because again, you're going to see some pretty significant support likely fall away from his campaign based on these allegations. Now, what's going to be interesting to see is if right before the primary, this shifts the Democrats who would be the front runners in the race, enough to get them ahead of the two Republicans. Up until this point, you had two Republicans who were well and above away of the three Democrats who were about tied, meaning that given California's jungle primary rules, you could have been facing a binary choice between two Republicans on the ballot in November. But if a Democrat just happened to throw a little of this oppo research out, might be just in time to make it so there's a Republican and a Democrat on the ballot here after that primary. Now, speaking of sexual assault survivor stories and things of that nature, this does bring us over to the Melania Trump situation. So I'd say a little unsurprisingly, Melania Trump, the first lady of the United States, came out in front of the country this week and issued a statement about five minutes long saying that there have been individuals in the last couple of months alleging that it is she who introduced Epstein to Trump. And we have the documents that show that's not even remotely true. But anyway, allegations that it's Melania. Melania Trump is now the secret super link between Jeffrey Epstein and Donald Trump. And it is Melania who was actually the Ghislaine Maxwell of Chorch, that kind of crap. So Melania came out and said, that's really dumb, and then also said something that I thought was a little interesting. I waited a little bit to see if this was maybe something that I was hearing just in all transparency or if others were noticing. She called the survivors of the Jeffrey Epstein sexual assaults and alleged trafficking, again, grooming those girls to him. Again, the question is whether he trafficked them to others or to himself or it was A paid exchange, whether foreign influence was exchanged. That kind of the general broader question regarding the Epstein investigation. She encouraged them to come testify under oath before the House of Representatives. And that the under oath there was really interesting because there have been these allegations of a list, a list of individuals who did all the bad things, but the victims have never provided such a list. We're going to get to some of those details in House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer's response radio crew. Sorry it's 7:30. I got to send you to the commercial break. It's the Tony Knitcast here on the Daily Signal. We'll continue on the live stream. So here is Melania Trump's statement and at least the little end of it. Here is Fox News clipped. And then the follow up response from Representative James Comer of Kentucky should be permanently entered into the Congressional Record. Then and only then we will have the truth.
C
So will there be hearings? Yeah, I've always planned on having hearings with the victims. My attorneys on the Oversight committee have been communicating on a constant basis for months with the attorneys representing Epstein victims. There are some victims who are willing to come in. Most victims aren't and I completely understand that. But we have always planned on having a hearing with Epstein victims once the depositions have been completed. So we've still got some more high profile men that are coming in then. I agree with the first lady and appreciate what she said. We will have hearings.
B
Now I do want to point out that the, the group of, of survivors here have issued an official statement in which they refuse to come testify before Congress under oath. Just saying, you know, testify under oath. Well, may, maybe not. Here, here's, here's that, that, that statement. They say quote, survivors of Jeffrey Epstein have already shown extraordinary courage by coming forward, filing reports and giving testimony. Asking more of them now is a deflection of responsibility, not justice. Asking more. Oh, sorry, I think we might have the wrong. See if we can pull up the. There we go. Asking more of the now is a deflection, not justice. Then they say first Lady Melania Trump is now shifting the burden onto survivors under politicized conditions that protect those with power. And then list the doj, law enforcement, prosecutors, Trump administration. I, I will, I'm going to point out here that asking you to testify under oath is not asking you to do more. This has always annoyed me about anyone in D.C. republican, Democrat, you should be willing to testify under oath about pretty much anything in your past. Why not? If you know the names, if you have this list, these are the People, these are the names. Shouldn't you be able to say those under oath if this is so important, give the names, provide the name. You say there's this name, you know all the people, you have all the list. Well, shouldn't it therefore be entered into the Congressional record? If you're going to make allegations, in fact, maybe stand by those particular. That's not asking too much of them. No, it's not. And it's not too much of asking a victim of a crime to name the individual who committed the crime. That is part of the system of justice. And by the way, regarding Representative Eric Swalwell, which by the way, now we're finding out that, that Nancy Pelosi may have, have also told Eric Swalwell to drop out of the gubernatorial race over these sexual assault allegations? No, I'm sorry. This is an actual statement from former speaker of the House and amazingly lucky stock better Nancy Pelosi. As I discussed with Congressman Swalwell, it is clear that the best is done outside of a gubernatorial campaign. So interesting. They've, they've made their decision. The decision has been. The die has been cast. The decision has been made. Regarding this letter, though, as soon as you say you're not going to get me to testify under oath, that's suspicious. Sorry, that's just exactly how I see that. I don't like that because then you have to kind of stand by your terms and words. And we've seen this in quite a few places. We've seen this regarding testifying about fraud. We've seen this about testifying regarding foreign relations, things regarding the Code Paint group and its Chinese Communist Party ties quite a bit. And also regarding some voter roll stuff. Colorado making some huge decisions. A lot more news to cover. Don't go anywhere. Way more tonight. It's the Tony Kennedcast here on the Daily Signal. This is the Tony Kinnit cast on 93 WIBC. Welcome back to the Tony Kenneth cast here on the Daily Signal. We are keeping an eye on the Artemis 2 crew as they have begun the detachment procedure where they are now disconnecting from the Earth orbit capsule. And you can see the mission command room down here on the live stream. They're getting ready. They are beginning their descent toward planet Earth now. It is expected that they make splashdown by 8:10pm Eastern. That is just over 40 minutes away. We're going to be keeping an eye on that. Now some of the information on this particular landing here. The Artemis 2 crew is expected to enter about 2,000 miles away. Excuse me expect to enter Earth's atmosphere about 2,000 miles away from where they will finally land. Really? Again, really incredible to see the amount of work that's gone into this. It is a crucial, a historic journey by the Artemis crew. This entire mission. You can see on the live stream side of things. They are eventually going to make splashdown just off the coast of California and Baja California. So I believe NASA's head, Jared Isaacman and his incredibly large ears are out at the landing area, so he can hear them coming. I tease, the man's doing a pretty excellent job. Again, they've already been cleared for return. They were cleared just a little bit ago earlier today. Good engine, good control. And after that particular route, the first set of parachutes is expected to Deploy at around 8pm Eastern following their 3.9g reentry into Earth's atmosphere. Now here's the interesting part, and we talked about this with our Virginia Grace earlier this week. One of the key things being tested in this earlier set of Artemis missions before we get to moon base time around Artemis 4 is the question of whether or not we can begin launching certain craft to space and other bodies in our solar system using far less fuel than we have before, essentially calculating gravitational slingshot maneuvers. And then can we also make sure that we get some of the kinks worked out that have been a serious concern in earlier projects and missions? Obviously Apollo 13 is a classic example of things that we're kind of keeping an eye out for, but also doing things like communicating ship to ship, the International Space Station, communicating with the Artemis crew in their craft, as well as the question of heat shielding. So we talked about this earlier this week as well, the Artemis one. There were some concerns about the heat shielding not being enough to keep those inside the capsule from being baked Golden Brown until 375. And they didn't change anything substantially on the heat shielding for the Orion spacecraft and the capsule that will finally land in the Pacific Ocean for the Artemis 2 crew. So what is NASA doing here? Kind of a, not necessarily a last minute adjustment, but in the last couple of days adjustment from the NASA command room, they have adjusted the reentry route to be more direct, so kind of increasing the angle of approach to limit the exposure time to extreme temperatures. So essentially they're steering into the skid here. Instead of a longer, more spiral esque descent into Earth's atmosphere that would provide more time for the wonderful warming friction, rather large and unconventional air fryer on the Artemis 2 crew. They're going to try to increase the angle trust a little bit more in the parachutes and hope upon hope that that doesn't turn our crew of four into a slightly more tanned crew of four. And again, given these particular simulations that they have run quite a few times over the last couple of years, I expect that to go well. We'll keep you guys in, in the loop on how that goes as we continue on in the show. Now over on the Senate side of news, excuse me. I do want to provide one key update on the situation in the Middle East. The ceasefire is already starting to fracture. We have word that Qatar and one of their petroleum refinery facilities has just attempted or at least some of the anti air equipment around this particular gas facility that was struck earlier on in March has just intercepted two suicide drones thrown from Iran towards Qatari airspace. Both of these drones were shot down according to the Qatari Foreign Ministry and a maritime private military contracting group in the region. Also we are getting additional information again this within the last 30 minutes. But I didn't have this in front of me confirmed before now that in Bahrain. Yes, in, in Bahrain an individual who is reportedly an Iranian diplomat has been attacked on the street. So yeah, not exactly the warmest of feelings over in the Middle East. I should also mention right now over on the Hezbollah side in Lebanon giving you some of these updates here. A group from the Hezbollah terrorist group directly claimed by the Iranian regime attempted to go on parade in Beirut today and it didn't go so well. Yeah, when I say that it didn't go so well, I mean that the Hezbollah parade going on motorcycles through Beirut was assaulted by a group of civilians inside of, inside of Beirut. Here, check it out. So you can see the Hezbollah processions trying to make its way through the capital. And then the civilians break in and start assaulting the Hezbollah terrorists. A couple of gunshots and then things get chaotic. So for all of the argument that like the Muslim communities inside of the Middle east are extremely supportive, the civilian population is extremely supportive of Iran and Hezbollah. Yeah, that, that ain't the case. That is not the case, Cap. So we'll keep you updated on any of those other pieces of news as we get them. Sorry. Over on to some of the news from the Senate right now. Republicans in the Senate and the White House are trying to get through a reconciliation measure to pass funding for Immigration Customs Enforcement as well as U.S. border Patrol. So this comes amid two things. First of all, we reported earlier this week that four British nationals, Nope, four Islamic dudes out of Britain that traveled over to Canada because You know, free roam of travel between the United Kingdom and Canada were caught trying to enter Maine over the border between the United States and Canada. And again, additional calls from Americans coming out to the Department of Homeland Security as well as Border Patrol probably shouldn't be shut down right now. Again, we're going to get to some of this in a little bit with some of the domestic terror incidents that are now coming out of the socialist camp, setting fires to warehouses and malls and things like that. But right now here in the United States, with the everyone in the Homeland Security Department, except for Immigration Customs Enforcement and US Border Patrol receiving funding, the Senate is trying to pass through a reconciliation measure, meaning you take available funding in the budget and you pass it through with a simple majority vote, meaning all you got to do is get 51 or 50 with a tiebreaker from JD Vance, who's currently chilling in Islamabad, that's probably going to make it through. And so that gambit will work again. The big victory here, at least for those on the conservative side of the aisle, and I guess the independent side of the aisle as well, is that the Save America act was not attempted to be wedged into any of this reconciliation measure just to be canned out and that particular funding freeze delayed for a lot longer. Additionally, the Federal Aviation Administration is on a bid to hire as many people as it can, targeting individuals, youth in the country to work in air traffic control by running ads on various video game platforms. We'll have to see how that works. It's an interesting approach, for sure. Also calls for the air traffic control system to be privatized as well as the tsa. We'll have to see how those work. That'll require some House legislation that'll have to go through the Senate and then probably a couple of looky loos from federal judges after that makes it to the president's desk. Now, other major news going on around the country. The Department of Homeland Security is also a little salty with media outlet ABC7 out of Los Angeles. So ABC7 has been caught using AI to edit department of Homeland Security statements provided to media to confirm to kind of a narrative bias. Essentially, ABC7 in Los Angeles would take the statements brought in from Homeland Security, decide they really don't like how the federal agency of the executive branch of the United States government. They don't like how they worded their statement. So they're gonna break a fundamental rule of journalism, which is where you put words in the person you are covering's mouth. That is very illegal. That is not allowed. That leaves you all kinds of liable in civil cases as well as criminal cases because it is against the law as a media outlet to change how crime is reflected from official reports, you're not allowed as an FCC rule. Sorry, I should say this is an on spectrum media rule. ABC7 means that if you go on your channel and you turn on to channel seven in that area, you will receive that signal. That means you're on Spectrum Air in the same way that we are on Spectrum Air on a couple of radio and TV stations directly live. I have some FCC rules I have to follow. Now, Speaking of It's 7:45. One of those rules means I have to send the radio crew on the Eastern time block to commercial break. We're going to continue on the Livestream crew because the FCC has no say over there. It's the Tony Knittcast here on the Daily Signal. My, my, what a lot of things to juggle this Fine, fine. Friday evening. So ABC7 is not allowed to change how crime is covered. You're not allowed to change how natural disasters are covered? That is very much a nope. Why? Because as someone on FCC broadcast air, on Spectrum, as it's called, you have to follow certain rules as a public information service. Now, that comes with benefits and perks to me, meaning that if I report an official statement from media, for example, if I directly report to you another outlet's coverage of, let's say the San Francisco Chronicles, allegations against Representative Eric Swalwell, he can't sue me for coverage and commentary on that because that's part of one of the nice things that I get out of being on Spectrum Air. In contrast, I can't screw over local, state and federal official administration statements. I can read the statement in full, then give you my take on it. Changing the statement, though, you, you can't do that. That's not something you can do. So, so what are, what are the examples here that I am, that I'm, that I'm talking about here? The original statement from the Department of Homeland Security, which you can see on the live stream, is about an April 9 operation between immigration Customs Enforcement and Border Patrol in which there were criminal illegal aliens that were arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, hit and run San Bernardino sanctuary officials refusing to cooperate with ICE. So what is it that ABC7 changed? Well, quite a bit. So you can see in this response from Susanna Chamberlain, or excuse me, from letitia Juarez of ABC7 to Susanna Chamberlain saying she took the liberty of running this through an AI platform so that instead of using certain Words from the Department of Homeland Security, she would change them. So instead of criminal illegal aliens, instead, the DHS is announcing the arrests of three individuals which you're not allowed, you're not allowed to change the legal classification of individuals when reporting crimes. If it's a direct statement. Now, later on you can change it to maybe a more appropriate style for your sensibilities. But no matter how hard you may want to get out the curls and clutch them until your wrist hurts, you ain't allowed to do that. And again, it isn't just, it isn't just that they change certain words. For example, they, they changed a Colombian criminal, illegal alien to a Colombian national. So they, they changed his, his status to essentially saying that, well, I mean, he's just a national. It's not like he's a criminal who's been arrested on battery charges. But they also added additional. They, they also omitted certain statements, for example, under whose administration the individual was, was released. They removed California's name from the document, like, entirely talking about other state policies. So, for example, they have in a statement, the DHS criticized policies in some jurisdictions that limit cooperation when the word is prohibited. Yeah, you really, you really can't do this. Not exactly. Something super stellar over here from that side. So the fights in the hills that some choose to die on are certainly bewildering. More news to cover. We're going to swing out, pick up the radio crew one more time from their commerc break. Don't go anywhere. It's the Tony Kinnit cast here on the Daily Signal. We're going to pivot over to talking crime. It's the Tony Kenneth cast on 93 WYBC. You know, now that the bumper music is a little bit more randomized than usual, it's, it's kind of nice when like the weekend, right before the weekend bumper music plays on a Friday. I don't know, it feels like that's, that's of kind, kind of a success there. Welcome back. Tony Kinit cast. A lot of more news to cover. The domestic terror threat in this country continues. Now, you may remember at the beginning of the Trump administration in 2025, after Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency Doge was looking over a lot of documents and uncovering a lot of fraud, a lot of waste, fraud and abuse, that kind of a thing, that the response from those on the left was to throw Molotov cocktails at a bunch of Tesla charging stations, dealerships, buildings with people inside and, you know, committing arson and domestic terrorism. And the left, from state officials, local officials, all the way up through Congress and the media sphere, started downplaying these events and saying, wow, people are really, really mad and frustrated and started kind of whitewashing these acts. And now here we are a year and some change later, watching as kind of this arson has become the norm of effectuating emotion and political outrage. And it is really, really bizarre. So again, earlier this week we reported on the story of Shamel Abdul Karim in Ontario, California setting fire to a paper products warehouse. We reported at the time that he had stated it was because they weren't paying him, that he was setting this on fire. Well, this absolute moron filmed himself doing so and saying, well, you know, I, I, I've got all of this, you know, they're not paying me enough. So I'm gonna set fire to the facility. Here is me doing so. Here's that footage that again, recording yourself committing crimes is like some kind of a rallying cry. An interesting choice, you know, if you're
C
not gonna pay us enough to live
B
or afford to live, at least pay us enough. Now I'm gonna cut the rest of the clip off from there because again he goes on and torches again the entire facility. New documents show him invoking Luigi Mangione during his confession. You know, the guy who assassinated the United Healthcare CEO whose insurance he didn't even have. United Healthcare Insurance, UnitedHealthcare had never had anything to do with him, just chose to assassinate the United Healthcare CEO because of this class warfare thing. Oh, you know, the same thing that that Representative Summer Lee was just advocating for on the Democrat side of the aisle or that kind of a thing. Well, it turns out that's not going to be slowing down anytime soon because that is the base of the left. That is exactly who they're going for. And it's not as though they're really trying to hide the ball. Here's yet again these videos you can see all over the left side of social media. Burn down more warehouses, more politicians homes, more CEOs and politicians and billionaires. Israel, ice the whole thing. Okay? This kind of stuff, one might say, is rather unhinged. But to their own little quiet circles of repetitive, insane schizophrenic babbling when they are being affirmed that what they feel is justified and natural and you should get out there and take to the streets, you do get more of this. This afternoon, a male suspect set fire inside the Ontario Mills Mall. Large flame seen before being put out. He has been arrested. We have this clip ready to go as well. So absolutely normal, rational individuals all throughout the country. Um, also man been arrested for allegedly throwing a Molotov cocktail at the San Francisco home of Open AI CEO Sam Altman. Um, according to ABC News, the suspect fled on foot, but police said his description was dispatched to officers around 5am Officers responded to OpenAI's headquarters where a man was allegedly threatening to burn down the building. And they, quote, recognized the male to be the same suspect from the earlier incident. End quote. Two things that are very, very true here. First of all, over at the Daily Signal, we're currently working on a project to go through some of these cases of political crime. The rhetoric increase that really began, or should I say became more mainstream in the excuses for them with the Congressional baseball shooting. And then moving forward over the next couple of years would become a hallmark of the American left that would be whitewashed. As soon as they hit the media, you know, assigned all of these arbitrary nonsensities. And then as soon as an individual that could be kind of ascribed to the right would also commit some kind of a violent crime, it was immediately treated as some kind of a sledgehammer against everyone on the right side of the aisle. And as additional evidence and support for the domestic terrorism that was provided by those whose entire ideologies wrap around either radical lgbtq, whatever nonsense, racial nonsense, or last but certainly not least, this Marxian nonsense. And I, you know, you'd have to kind of guess whether you would put the Islamic stuff in with kind of the racial stuff or the weird Marxist alliance stuff. But as soon as you see right again, another election cycle, all of these consistent acts of terrorism and the Department of Homeland Security left out of certain funding plans and packages and called for their direct abolition by those over on the left. Not exactly hiding the ball. Not exactly hiding the ball. But that's okay. That's okay. Because in the meantime, the real concern is about all of these. These super duper extreme war crimes that are being committed. Sorry, I. You know, here I am telling you that there are all of these Democrats calling for the abolition of these things. I'm not even showing you any examples. Here's Primala Jayapal announcing that any kind of immigration law enforcement is gonna stop after Democrats retake the House. And then when we take power, we're going to get the kinds of reforms
A
and dismantle ICE and CBP in the
B
way that I think they should be. So, you know, sorry, I wanted to make sure I showed my receipts there. Again, the rest of the party at the moment kind of in the media ecosystem, the media ecosphere. I'm not seeing anything that would suggest that it's any more rational. Not at all. Now, before I get to some of those particular, you know, talk about like Dana Bash patting herself on the back, CNN saying she's, you know, calm, steady voice and in Washington and you know, John Kerry yelling about all of this other kinds of nonsense. Radio crew, we are getting ready to send you guys out for the evening. Huge thanks to the radio side for stopping by. We're going to continue over on the livestream and you know, got the NASA splashdown for coverage here in just a bit. So first and foremost, head over to YouTube.com daily signal and join us. You know, not while you're driving, something like that. Don't want you breaking any of those laws. But hey, we've got a lot more stuff coming tonight. Really appreciate each and every one of you on the radio side. This is the Tony Knittcast here on the Daily Signal, nationally syndicated and first on 93 WIBC radio crew. Y' all take care. All right. We're going to continue over on the live stream side of things. I had to send the radio crew out for just a bit because I'm not quite sure that Joy Reid calling for war crime trials and tribunal stuff again amid all the domestic terror attacks. No mention of those. I'm not quite sure if she says a couple of things that definitely violate the rules for on air stuff. So I kind of had to, you know, as much as I love making our dear poor Alison sit on the dump button and censor every other word,
A
well, make Trump an adjudicated war criminal. Make Hegseth an adjudicated war criminal. Make Marco Rubio an adjudicated war criminal. I pray that some wise country, and maybe again it has to be South Africa, which is has the moral authority having done it with Israel. Someone please, for the love of God, charge these people, at least start an investigation for war crimes. For the love of God, please do it. Take these people to the Hague. Y' all need to propose a solution that can happen. So my solution to me makes more sense. What is the the Hague. It's much that the international community will drag these suckers to the Hague than it is that an impeachment can get out of the House or survive a Senate vote.
B
There is no again, forget the fact that they're focusing on the wrong thing for a second. There is no, absolutely no, zip, zilch, nada, none. There is no chance whatsoever that any United States official or individual in a in a political capacity is going to be sent over to the International Criminal Court for any kind of a war tribunal. That's not happening. That's not a thing. That is. No, absolutely not. The United States is not subject to the International Criminal Court in any way, shape or form. We very rarely, occasionally will turn someone over to Interpol that's a foreign national. But even then that's not exactly the most common of things and that not a citizen of the United States. Best of luck to you.
A
This has never successfully convicted an impeached president. It's never happened. And the 25th Amendment's never been used. Even when Ronald Reagan got shot was the one time it was sort of semi used. So it's not going to happen.
B
I mean true, it's not going to happen, but it's not going to happen because it's not feasible. Not because it really, oh really, really needs to happen. And there are individuals who are like standing in the way bravely. Yeah guys, I'm just, I'm just not seeing it. I'm just not seeing it at all. So right now we receive word that about 90 seconds ago the crew module has started its full re entry into Earth's atmosphere. There is a six minute blackout period in effect. A P3 Orion aircraft has now acquired the trajectory of the reentry vehicle of Artemis 2. And the time until splashdown is now 9 minutes and 39 seconds. So we are officially in heat shield time. So again, a prayer definitely for those currently with the Orion. You can see the feed has just gone black. Mission control shifting over to them because not really easy to communicate out of a burning comet in the sky. So we're going to be keeping an eye on that as well. Over on the mean side of things, really, really cool conversation that we were able to have with John Bachman over some of the interesting similarities between President Ronald Reagan's Operation Urgent Fury and Operation Epic Fury. We're going to cut out over to that and catch you guys on the other side of that with some of the information in the footage of the splashdown of the Artemis 2 crew from NASA as the Tony Kennett cast here on the Daily Signal. A lot more tonight. Be right back. If I could fall into the sky. This is the Tony Kennett cast on 93 WIBC. Host of John Bachmann now over on Newsmax. If you couldn't quite guess, that would be John Bachmann. Good to have you, my dude.
D
Good to be with you, Tony.
B
Let's dive right in. There's a lot of questions and concerns about the current Trump administration's approach to using the United States military to solve diplomatic issues. One of the things that often gets left out of prior president's interactions with kind of the broader world and. And. And kind of utilizing alternate means to get things done is how President Reagan handled Granada. And I know this is something that you've spent a particular amount of time looking into. This is something that you've been writing about. Help break it down for us. Yeah.
D
I mean, Tony, for. For basically our whole, entire lives, as long as we've been paying attention to politics and national security and international conflict, we've been told there have basically been two options. There is isolationism on one side, and then there are the forever wars that we watch play on and Drag on for 20 years in Iraq and Afghanistan. And, you know, there is another way. There's a third option. It's. It's effectively using the military for a limited and very targeted engagement. And that's what Ronald Reagan did in Operation Urgent Fury in Grenada. I'm having a hard time keeping this all straight now because we have Operation Epic Fury, which is the operation in Iran, but this was Operation Urgent Fury in Grenada in 1983. And, of course, most people, if you ask them where Grenada is on a map, some people might say Spain, some people might not know which tiny Caribbean island it is. But it's very strategically located in the southern Caribbean. And in the early 1980s and the late 1970s, a communist revolution had played out there. And the Soviet Union and Cuba were very interested in Grenada because of where it was located in the southern Caribbean. They wanted to build a massive Runway there, a massive airport that can be used to transport military munitions all over the Western hemisphere. And Reagan got wind of that, and he said, absolutely not. And he wanted to stop that. The other part about this, Tony, is there was a American. A lot of American medical students on the island of Grenada. St. George's Medical School is there. And there were about 600American medical students on the island at the time. So let me just set the stage for you. It's 1983. It's October. Grenada had already fallen to a communist revolution in 1977. There was a man in charge named Maurice Bishop. And as much as you can say this, he was a fairly moderate Marxist, still supported by the Soviets. He was a protege of Fidel Castro, and he understood at a certain period of time that he was going to have to moderate. There was a lot of pressure from other Western countries to make sure Grenada didn't fall into the same situation that Nicaragua was in. But when Maurice Bishop started to moderate, there was a more radical, hardline Marxist communist named Bernard Coward, and he actually killed Maurice Bishop. There was a bloody coup that took place that day, and that's when the American medical students were really at risk. And Ronald Reagan said, enough is enough. We're sending in the 82nd Airborne, we're sending in the Rangers, we're sending in the Marines, the SEALs, Delta Force. And we're going in there not only to save the Americans that were stranded on the island, but also restore democracy. And that's what took place.
B
So obviously, it's an incredible piece of history that a lot of our audience remembers. Of course, it's also something, you know, operation names are not just chosen at random when you look at the difference between Operation Urgent Fury and Epic Fury today. So I want to ask you that kind of question as a follow through. Looking forward to the current conflict. There are some, some rumors, some concerns that President Pizekian, whatever, President Pez, dispenser of Iran possession, I've just given up trying to pronounce his name. It's not going to matter. He's not going to be in office forever and maybe because he's not getting along too well with the irgc.
D
Right.
B
And so the question, I think, really lines up pretty well here with the new book. What lessons do you think that the American public could learn from Reagan and Grenada and over to the Operation Epic Fury with Iran in today's day and age?
D
I think what Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump both understand, number one, is the Monroe Doctrine and how important that is and making sure that the Western hemisphere is secured. Back in the 1980s and 70s, it was obviously the Soviets. Today, it's the communist Chinese that are infiltrating the Western Hemisphere and they absolutely must be stopped. They're making lots of investments in that part of the world. I think the other thing, Tony, is that you've got to have competent leadership in the military and surrounding you. And I think President Trump has that right now, especially when it comes to the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth. These are folks that have actually put on the uniform. They know what they are dealing with. In the book, I talk about the two men that led the operation in Grenada, Admiral Metcalf, who was a Navy man, and General Norman Schwarzkopf. It's a name familiar to a lot of people.
B
Right.
D
And they, they had command of the situation. It was not an easy operation. We lost 19American service members, four Navy SEALs, a lot of the best, the best that we had to offer, but it was because of the leadership of the men on the ground that made that operation a success. And I think that is one of the main parallels between then and now that President Trump has competent leadership on the ground.
B
This is one of the things that I often hear the idea of what do we save for when? And the question of when do we use the best of the best and why are the best of the best used if they might have their lives put up on the table and then spent in a what would some would consider a small or an insignificant operation? And it's easy when you are kind of, you know, sitting back on the sideline here in Linden, the United States, to say any operation that, I don't know, like you mentioned earlier, people not being able maybe to find Grenada on a map or thinking it's off the coast of Spain, that that gave me a chuckle. You can hear a lot of the same questions today about some of the, again, the surrounding territory with regard to Iran or with Hezbollah and Lebanon, and you can ask those same questions. But if the best of the best is to be used, you can often see some of the greater morasses, the marshes that people get stuck in in these eternal conflicts halted ever before they flare up to that point. And that really is the core point of those Special operations teams existing in the first place.
D
That is exactly right. And this was Grenada was really the first opportunity to kind of use this modern warfare. After everything went wrong with Operation Eagle Claw, Ronald Reagan created Task Force 160, which are the Night Stalkers. These are the guys that fly in our special operators into these combat operations. And Seal Team 6 was also created, and we did lose four Seal Team 6 members in, in Operation Urgent Fury in Grenada. And there were a lot of lessons learned because I think, you know, that really was one of the first modern conflicts that we actually won this conflict, one of the only things we've won since World War II. But there were mistakes that were made, and I think those lessons are being carried on today. But I do think President Trump, and it's very scary right now. You see more troops headed over to the Middle East. He's going to be prepared for whatever contingency he has to be prepared for. I do think he understands the limits of power and kind of what a victory looks like right now. And, you know, I think there are a lot of people that understand the peace through strength mantra that Reagan embodied and that President Trump wants to embody as well in his final term.
B
Now again, I think that's pretty well put and I really do recommend Turning Point How Reagan Liberated Grenada and Won the Cold War by John Bachmann. I'm looking forward to it. I gotta say I'm not gonna tease anything else for the audience because you know, they should actually go pick it up.
D
And let me just mention one thing if you got a second because.
B
Oh please. Yeah, absolutely.
D
It's Masters week. It's Masters related. Ronald Reagan actually gave the go order from Augusta National. He was on a golf vacation.
B
No kidding.
D
Of course. But while he was there, there was a guy who broke into the golf course, held the pro staff staff hostage because he was, he was, he had a drinking problem. He was upset about the economy. He wanted to talk to Ronald Reagan himself. He actually spoke to Reagan on the phone. They defused the hostage situation at Augusta National. Crazy story. They also had the Beirut Marine barracks bombing right at around the same time.
B
That's right.
D
And the authorization for Operation Epic Fury all in about a 36 hour time frame. Very busy window for Ronald Reagan. And it all plays out in the book. A lot of intrigue, a lot of details, a lot of excitement. So highly recommend it.
B
I'm really glad you brought that up because we often talk about the insane news cycles and that's not wholly unique to our current time frame. When you look back and some of the tight windows, Presidents had to operate that 36 hour window. Again I point that out because it was Truett who asked Reagan in his debate against mondale about that 36 hour window that JFK had to basically go without sleep. And that's when Reagan of course said the famous I'm not going to hold my opponents youth and inexperience against him. So again, great, great point and no, I'm glad, I'm glad you interjected with that. That's good stuff.
D
All right, Tony, love to have you on the show. Great to always have you with me and great to be with you as well.
B
All right, good to be with y' all this evening. Now we do have official confirmation. Incredible, incredible stuff. Right after we had a restoration of communication, a couple of minutes went by. The recovery boats are arriving and. And Incredibly the Artemis 2 crew has splashed down into the Pacific. We're gonna start with the. We're coming out of the kind of the scariest couple of minutes. The communications black out as the heat shielding again. All the trust in it again. The atmosphere throwing all of the friction against that craft could have been A situation where our astronauts were cooked. Here was the first restoration of communication coming out of that blackout period. By the way, it's not that there's no microphones in that room. The entire room was holding their breath. Passing through 150,000ft. Our trajectory is perfect. We're getting intermittent views of integrity. Still waiting to establish voice communication. Integrity. Houston, comm check. Post blackout. Houston, integrity. We have you loud and clear. Your trajectory is nominal and your recovery teams have visual. Incredible stuff. Incredible. Then we got the footage, the beautiful stuff right here, of the capsule making its splashdown in the Pacific Ocean. All three parachutes successfully deployed. Houston, integrity splashdown. Sending post landing command now. Splashdown confirmed. Copy splashdown. Waiting on VLDR roll one more time here for me and Houston, integrity splashdown. Post landing command now. Splashdown confirmed. Beautiful stuff. Beautifully executed. Phenomenally incredible. Now, I will say a couple of things that are funny. I know there are a lot of people who think that questioning things. Oh, we didn't, we didn't really ever go to the moon. Yes, because the Soviet Union definitely would have let us get away with that one. Look, there are so many individuals who watched it lift off into atmosphere, who saw the beautiful, precise, clean, very well done launch that didn't fall to green screen. AI fish wire, nonsense sense cruise as the launch took place, saw it from states away, if it wasn't cloudy like it was here. The beautiful, I mean, incredible shots. We've seen footage from telescope crews that followed it well out of Earth's atmosphere around the moon. Just an amazing mission. Beautiful stuff. Truly incredible. It's. It's truly incredible. And so that all said, the mathematics that went into this, the work that goes into a precise. There were a couple of correction maneuvers by the crew, but most of that again said in place. Beautifully done. Mission Artemis 2, huge success further than humanity has ever gone. Done with less fuel than we've ever launched any kind of a mission like that with. And again, harnessing the power of the Earth's gravity. Beautiful. Some amazing new photography of the Earth, of course, from orbit as well as from the dark side of the moon. Beautiful, incredible stuff. So love it. Beautiful, beautiful, incredible stuff here. That said, I'll hop over to a little bit of the mailtime questions before we are done for the evening. And then I'd say that's. I think we've really earned this weekend. So without further ado, mail time. Mail time again. Best way to throw a mail time question in. Now, there's a link to our discord in the description in the on the YouTube side of things or the podcast, wherever you're tuning in from, join us there. There's a little mail time channel again, a lot of chats and things like that. So let's hop right in, shall we? One question over on this side from MP said, I've heard that the President is going to sell and lease our national parks. Is this true? No, no it's not. First of all, the President does not have the authority to do that even if he wanted to. Number two, no, he doesn't have the authority to, you know, sell and lease national parks. That would be done via congressional stuff. And no, the President is. And planning on doing that. Probably a rumor that came from the idea that there are some reserved lands that are considered special grasslands that have been talked about for opening up for development. That's entirely different. So no question from Terry Miller says, hey, do the astronauts aboard the Artemis 2, do they feel the heat when going through the atmosphere? Does some kind of air circulation kick in? Well, I am very happy to tell you that any pilot will tell you there I get heat in the summer and AC in the winter in that kind of a craft when you're going through that much interference, not a lot of air circulation going on. No, they don't feel the heat as a ton. The heat shielding is meant to absorb a lot of that heat and then shrug off a little bit as it can. That's why heat shielding is such a precise science. In the physics and chemistry departments, astronauts that we've talked to before, I'm sure the crew will be asked about this. They might get a little bit warm, but it's not as though it's going to kick up to like 150 or something and cook them for a minute or two. Another question come in from Moldegard, who's filming that. Just about everyone in any kind of an aircraft or ground based telescopic cruise trying to catch that as soon as it gets in the atmosphere. As the craft got closer and closer to Earth, the rectangle, the point of entry and got narrower and narrower and narrower so that you were able to point a lot of cameras in the right direction. And I'll take another kind of question from kind of one of the doubters that was sent in from a Jane earlier this week said, Tony, why is it that if, you know, if this whole thing is real, if it's, if this actually happened, then why, when we saw the pictures of the Earth, did we not see any of the jet contrails in the sky or why were we not able to see any of the satellites and things like that above orbit. It. The Earth is really big and the people and things on it are really, really, really small. Now every bone in my body wants to be sarcastic about this. Instead, I'll give you the basics in kind of the analogistic way that I do things. When you look at a picture of New York City from really high up in the air, if you're flown on a plane, you've ever begun your descent into any kind of city, you cannot see the people on the ground. You just see the buildings. Does that mean the people aren't there? Does that mean the people don't exist? No, they are too small to see. There is an entire crew who is so hell bent on trying to convince you that nothing has ever happened and it's all a huge super duper conspiracy to do something. No. No. Again, the number one argument for why we went to the moon and why we know that we went to the moon is that the Soviet Union also congratulated the United States on going to the moon. And if you think, well, the Soviets were also in on it. Dude, dude, grass. Touch it. Some of y' all need to put the phone down. I'm sorry. I'm trying to be nice, trying to be sweet, but you know what? I'm actually. I'm actually a plant of NASA and Israel. Israel. NASA, nas, Israel. Yeah, that's right. I know. I was created in a lab by Bill Gates and chemtrails to secretly convince you the Illuminati Freemasons are not running at all. Okay, so again, huge congratulations to the Artemis crew. A couple more questions that we'll tackle. One from Greasy Spoon asks that red object behind me. That being that one. Is that the TARDIS from Doctor who? No, just an English phone booth. I can't stand Doctor who, actually. And the reason I can't stand it is I had a girlfriend in high school who was obsessed with it and tried to get me to watch all of it. And that made me hate it with a passion. And so now, even when my wife is watching Doctor who, I make fun of it. I don't care for it. No. So I'm not a TARDIS guy. That's actually a How I Met yout Mother reference, because I like that sitcom. So not. Not, you know, interesting question. I always forget that you guys may occasionally look at stuff on the set because I kind of forget that a lot of this stuff is here and it's not going to be here for very long. You know, Little, little fun. Little fun tidbit there for you. So from Trojan Horse. When children and vulnerable people face immoral treatment, why does it often seem like no one steps in to stop it? Where are the extended families, neighbors, local church members and fellow Christians during these moments of need? How have we become so indifferent to our neighbors that we allow them to drift into the destructive void of political ideology? Why aren't we taking more responsibility for guiding local youth away from paths of kind of selfishness and destruction? There's a simple answer to this and there's kind of a longer answer to this. The short answer is that people are really wrapped up in kind of their own lives and their own stuff. And a lot of people see things happening around them as really unfortunate things, but not really something that needs their attention. Oftentimes things do require risk at stepping in and helping. And while there is an indomitable human spirit that does often reach in and help, oftentimes a longer term investment means it kind of shrugs off in kind of today's society. Also, there is still a lot of institutional trust that someone whose authority it is, who has claimed the authority to take care of those things, does in fact take care of them. And also I kind of throw this in as well. There are a lot of cases in which people do step in and help, but that's not reported on as much. Again, we have a policy here on the show. When law enforcement stops a mass shooting or a horrible crime like sexual assault, pedophilia, child pornography, etc. We make an effort to praise them here on the show. And the reason that we do so is I think those should get as much coverage as the horrible events in which law enforcement wasn't able to stop it in time. Now, the larger cultural side of this is that while we've really allowed

lot of nonsense to keep us from recognizing serious issues. So one of the things I'll point out is that the conspiracy crew who thinks that everything is actually some secret pedophilic, Satanist, super duper, ultra extreme plot, and it's not. But by making everything like that, it actually minimizes the amount of help that's actually able to be given to those who are seriously under those kind of situations. And funnily enough, it was actually a member of the cartel, of the Sinaloa cartel, specifically, who confessed this, who was arrested about three and a half, four years ago, who was interviewed because it was an interview that a guy that had been kind of on the FBI's 10 Most Wanted list as far as Child trafficking had been concerned for the last couple of years and said that there were a couple of times in which they had gotten close to him. But there seems to be a greater focus on kind of conspiracy stuff rather than actually going into areas where we know the cartel is and just picking up the individuals and bringing them to justice. Yeah, that kind of stuff does absolutely happen. So again, that doesn't mean that there's not ever anything that's wrong or there's never wool or, you know, that's being pulled over your eyes. But when you start getting into the kind of schizo stuff. Yeah, no, not as useful. Not, not, not, not as, as helpful. From Lou Ray, have you seen anything regarding that Cash Patel has the leaker of the info on the pilots that were down? I'm, I'm, I haven't as far as, as the leaker and things like that. This administration has no problem though confirming who the individual is that's doing the leaking as soon as they do it, unless they're trying to catch them leaking other stuff. And we saw this by the way with that dude who lied about his wife being killed, the director of the National Counterterrorism thing, the Tulsi Gabbard cut out of all those meetings. So you know, that kind of, that, you know, that kind of stuff said, I will level with you. This is one I have wanted to answer for a while. It's from Red Guy 7. He says, hey Tony, think you're great. Well, thank you, he said, but I haven't really seen any polls narrowing like you have been saying. I've referred consistently to the generic congressional ballot in which the Democrats are kind of losing more of their lead over the last couple of months. Where are you getting that? So when I look at polling data for the generic congressional, I look at blocks of time averages over on Real Clear Polling. So the Real Clear Politics team keeps a pretty great poll tracker from around the country. And whereas at the January side of things, in the February side of things, where you saw Democrats up plus 9, plus 10, plus 11, plus 12, now the average is there anywhere between what was a couple of weeks ago, plus 7, plus 9, plus 6. Then about a week ago it got down to about, according to Morning Consult and the Economist Yougov here at the beginning of April plus three, plus two for Democrats. That's what I mean by its narrowing. Now it's not going to be a wow. At January it was like plus 30. And now in April it's, it's dead even. No, not, not necessarily it's going to be a longer term of this. But when I say the polls are narrowing when you are in a midterm year, the trending averages is that Democrats, if the Republicans are in power, should be increasing their lead over Republicans by April In a midterm year, the opposition party should have a generic congressional polling advantage of like 15 points easy. And going from 15 points to right now, the RCP average says 5.4, but they're including a Quinnipiac poll that's kind of out of range. But, but between plus six for signal, which is a likely voter poll, 1500. And then of course, the economist YouGov from April 3rd to 6th, which is a 1560 registered voters, which is more reliable, has Democrats at 44 and Republicans at 42. Now, again, when I tell you that the other side of this is it's going to be a low turnout election given the Trends right now, NPR, PBS, Marist had Democrats at 53 and Republicans at 44 at the beginning of March, but now you are seeing 44 and 42, meaning more people are either like, I don't know, I don't care. I don't like either of them is becoming a larger margin of the generic congressional, which means people are really sick of Congress. And again, when the major stories are what you've been seeing over the last couple of weeks, not really a, not really a huge surprise. So those things, oh, very, very kind. Some of the comments and other things of that nature. See if there's any, any last, any last lines of question here before we kick out for the evening. Just because I haven't, you know, I've taken A while from Emma 1, 2, 3, 2009, why didn't they land on the moon this trip? They were testing two things specifically. First of all, a series of emergency situations and maneuvers that we haven't ever really tried before. And number two, we've always wondered if we can actually do with man, you know, with the astronauts doing the, you know, small thruster adjustments. Can we do the slingshot now in the science fiction side of things and with some satellite and probe launches, we've attempted to do this before. But again, while the Earth and the moon are large, they are very far apart from each other. And it is a space is big. So it's a very precise calculation. And everything kind of has to go right to sling it around the Earth up to the moon, sling it around back, and then essentially do the figure eight with minimal correction. That's what they're testing because once they get this done correctly, the trips to the moon are going to become a lot less expensive. And if the equipment has been tested enough, enough, enough, they can start going through Artemis 3 manned Return to the Moon and then the Artemis 4 project, which is the actual established United States base on the moon. So, you know, that, that, that set in aside, that's kind of what I'm, what I'm thinking at least here on on that side of stuff. So, hey, good times, good week, good show. Hope you guys have a great weekend. We will be back Monday, 7pm Eastern here on YouTube.com dailysignal and of course, wherever you get your podcasts or if you're really interested in on that side of things, the radio or the TV syndication side as well, it's the Tony Kenneth cast here on the Daily Signal, nationally syndicated and first on 93 WIBC.
