It was pretty intense from Diddy's team, and right now it's Thursday and she's been on the stand for six days. But still, before we get into that, we need to update you all about something that happened earlier on Wednesday when the prosecution asked for one of the jurors, juror number six, who is a black juror, to be removed from the case. They didn't really explain why they wanted the juror to be removed. All we know is that prosecutor Maureen Comey said that they had been alerted that the juror had shown a, quote, lack of candor while in the court. Their application was opposed by Diddy's defense team, who accused the prosecution of trying to strike out too many black jurors in the end, it came to nothing because the judge completely rejected both the defense's argument and refused the prosecution's request. So juror number six remains.

Yeah, and also today, actually this week, Diddy has been turning up to court with a best selling book. It's a self help book called the Magic of Believing. Actually, a member of the public asked him today what he was reading, so he held it up for everyone in the court to see. Now, after a gut wrenching, emotional direct testimony earlier this week, it was Diddy's lawyer, Tani Garago's turn to start her cross examination of Jane. On on the Stan Thursday, Jane recalled partying with an unnamed famous rapper, his girlfriend, and a male escort named Anton that she and Diddy also partied with. Diddy's lawyers. Prosecutors and the judge spent most of the morning discussing whether to reveal this rapper's identity. Jane also told the court that Diddy told her he was, quote, polyamorous and had other girlfriends when they first got together. She said she was fine with that at first, but once she was, quote, hooked and had fallen in love with him, it was harder to accept his lifestyle. Jane said that after the freak offs began, she started trying to figure out their relationship and came across the word cuck or cuckold. Garagos asked what she understood by that term. What does that mean in the context of these rooms? I felt that my partner was trusting me in a very vulnerable moment and well, so he made me believe that this was something really special, that this was something him and I only did and I really took that on very strongly and I really wanted to just go along with these things because I felt like if I can be my partner's escape, then I would be and I didn't want to judge him for the things I noticed in these rooms about his behavior and the things that he liked. And I just would kind of put blinders on and just go along with what he was telling me to do. But deep down in my heart and from what I could assess in the situation, I mean, I didn't want him to feel that eyes were on him while he was in this vulnerable state.

Garagos then asked about an escort named Paul Arthur who was a regular participant in the Freak offs. You may remember from Cassie Ventura's evidence that Paul also took part in freak offs with her and Diddy. Paul was Diddy's fitness trainer and Jane said she was fond of him because he was nice to her. She admitted that she affectionately called him and Diddy quote her boys.

Yeah, Jane said that Diddy called their threesome the perfect trifecta and that they often role played during their sex sessions as sports stars. Very well known sports stars. That she was Kobe Bryant, Diddy was Michael Jordan and Paul was Shaquille o' Neal or Shaq as we all know him. And what's interesting here is that we know that Kobe Bryant and Diddy ran in the same circles before his death in a helicopter crash in 2020. And Kobe Bryant also attended Diddy's 50th birthday bash with his wife Vanessa, and Diddy also performed at Shaq's Fun House during Super bowl weekend that same year.

Garagos then took Jane through a lot of very explicit text messages where she and Diddy would talk in graphic detail about what they wanted to do to each other sexually and with other the jury was also played an audio message Diddy sent to her in March 2023 after their trip to Turks and Caicos. In the recording he suggests that he is addicted to her. And here is the official audio that the jury heard this week.

Hey baby, we had a great time. Stay in the light. It's all good. Get your rest. You Are the crack pipe. That's my new name for you, Crack pipe. Or should I call you C.P. but yeah, I don't. I want you to stay in the light, you know, I'm saying we had a very, very good time together. Like, so much, so much, so much, so much, so much fun. So much fun. Now go rest up. Get in your bag. You know what I'm saying? Got your contract, find a nice little spot, put your mind at ease. And yeah, I had a great time. And I really, really want you to get some rest. I ain't know about you throwing up and all that. That's when I was like, hold up a second. All right, get some rest, baby. Love.

Jane told the jury that she thought Diddy gave her the nickname because he was, quote, addicted to my sexual. We'll be right back with more after this. We're back and still on Jane's cross examination. And during that, Jane admitted that they used escorts on the trip, but she insisted that she only loved spending time with Diddy because it made her feel closer to him on another level.

But then Garagos highlighted a series of other messages between herself and an escort called Cabral, which she claims showed she actually enjoyed these sex sessions. Their messages, which begin with Cabral, have been voiced by actors.

Jane agreed that she reached out to escorts for their freak offs by DMing the ones they liked on Instagram, but she insisted she only texted them afterwards to be friendly. Garagos also claimed that Jane was jealous of the other women in Diddy's life. She highlighted a series of text messages between Jane and the rapper from November 2021 when they argued because she felt he was prioritizing other girls over her. Jane said she had seen another woman posting about Diddy buying her a designer handbag on Instagram and was furious because he had been pressuring her to set up a freak off at the same time. At this point, the cross examination got slightly testy. Again, their words have been voiced by actors.

Why are you saying Chanel bag? I'm being mistreated because the pressure that my partner was putting on me was for me to have sex with strangers and when he leaves me, he goes and spends quality time and shopping and dining, etc. Etc. With the Others.

Did this person post a Chanel bag on their stories? Yes, on Instagram. And you didn't get the Chanel bag? This other person was getting a Chanel bag, right?

No, I only got trauma.

You got a Van Cleef necklace right there was that. And you got a Bottega bag, Right.

After three and a half years, I really don't think I garnered much from this relationship.

Gargos went on to ask Jane about feeling upset when Diddy took a woman named Gina Hoon, who you'll recall was another one of his former girlfriends on a trip just days after Jane had taken part in a three day freak off for him over New Year's Eve in 2022. There was an audible gasp in the courtroom during this exchan and the judge asked Jane to please only answer the questions when she was asked. Jane asked to take a break after the testy exchange with Garagos. Jane read a text that she wrote to Diddy at that time to the court.

It's not right how you're treating me like this how you're doing me you completely had your way and more with New Year's Eve week just to send me home to worry about a doctor's visit handling entertainment accusing me of lying then take another girl on vacation ignoring us for days to prioritize that right now shows where your care is and it's not for me cold I'd never make you feel like that we have been so good you were telling me you love me I'm your baby how you're not going to use me hall to treat me like this why you have me feeling so taken advantage of.

And regretting everything A month later, she and Diddy took part in a freak off in a hotel on the night of her birthday. But soon after that she said she was furious when she discovered that Diddy had started seeing another woman whom he had taken on a yacht vacation. Apparently so this is a very popular female rapper named Young Miami who is also known as Caresha and who is half of the rap duo City Girls. Garagos asked her about this.

You testified that he started dating another woman and it was heartbreaking for you.

[Jane Doe]

Yes.

Caresha Young Miami Yes. She has a birthday around the same time as you?

[Jane Doe]

Yes.

[Tani Garagos]

After your birthday you saw Mr. Combs had taken Caresha on a yacht vacation.

[Jane Doe]

Yes.

Big beautiful celebration.

You told him how upset you were?

[Jane Doe]

Yes.

When you saw he was celebrating Karisha's birthday, that made you upset?

And you FaceTimed him. You remember making him come home a day early.

I said, if you don't come here now, we're not going to do anything you want to do.

You said you weren't going to have a Valentine's Day party for him. You said if you don't get your ass out that island, we're not going to have a party.

Yes. This is a rare occasion that I pulled the hotel card.

Jane said this was the first time that she had leveraged her freak off participation in an argument with Diddy. But Gargos pointed out that despite feeling angry with him, Jane was the one who arranged a Valentine's Day freak off. And in fact she suggested that they invite over two escorts to take part. She also decorated decorated with rose petals and balloons.

Did you suggest at this Valentine's night you could have two men in the same room?

[Jane Doe]

Yes, it was my suggestion.

You proposed this idea even though a few days earlier you said you didn't enjoy the hotel night you had at your birthday.

[Jane Doe]

Yes. My options in this relationship was what I had to adjust to, which was if I see him, there is a request for a hotel night. So I'm just adapting to my circumstances, I'm adapting to my environment. So there are moments where I suggest and organize things under the pressures of my lover.

[Hermania Rodriguez Poleo]

Jane agreed that she and Diddy had a three month break from the freak offs in April 2022. And when she resisted taking part in one later that year in June, he did not force her to take part. She also accepted that she would buy stripper heels, kinky outfits, whips, lube, male erection pills called rhino pills, and matching shorts from sex storts for Diddy and the escort to wear during the sessions. But she claimed this was only to help her feel in control and get them over with quicker.

Given my circumstances, I was really turned off whenever these men would come in with their regular shorts. And so I started incorporating shorts for them as well for these nights just so I could find them attractive.

And Mr. Combs would wear matching shorts with the entertainers?

[Jane Doe]

Yes.

[Tani Garagos]

And the male erection pills, is that for the Entertainer or for Mr. Combs or for. Who would that be for?

[Jane Doe]

It was really. It was really not so fun having to wind up these guys and wait for them to be erected. And so in order to cut my time with these entertainers, I started to get these on the side so that they can kind of start being erect already.

[Tani Garagos]

You'd give them these pills.

[Jane Doe]

I figured pills at the store weren't as unhealthy as actual street drugs.

[Kayla Brantley]

Gargos also highlighted several loving messages that Jane sent Diddy after taking part in freak offs, including one with his trainer Paul in August of that year.

I had so much fun, baby. I just genuinely wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your love. I will never take you for granted and will always make sure you always feel loved and supported by me. My love for you is unconditional and for life.

But Jane continued to insist that her feelings were just for Mr. Combs because she loved any time with him that she could get and she wasn't talking about enjoying the sex sessions themselves.

Garagos then showed the jury messages from Jane around her birthday the following February where again, like the year before, she and Diddy took part in a freak off with several male escorts. In the messages, Jane told him she appreciated the little details he had gone to, buying her flowers and a cake and an expensive Van Cleef necklace. But again, the lawyer said like the year before. They argued a few days later when she found out he had taken Caresha on a trip to Turks and Caicos for Valentine's Day. Here's one of the messages she texted the rapper.

I didn't want to do all that on my birthday. You knew how tired I was, but I kept a good attitude for it. I came home to see you on a trip I've been dying for.

Garagos then implied that Jane only became annoyed and complained about the freak off after she realized that he had taken Caresha on her dream vacation to Turks and Caicos.

[Tani Garagos]

It's not until you see him on a trip with Caresha and Turks that you tell him I didn't want to do all that. Right.

[Jane Doe]

I think after I've been made to have sex with three guys on my birthday, it was deeply hurtful and emotional for me to see him with another woman on a beautiful vacation and all their ease and all their happiness. Whereas I'm alone and recovering from having just slept with three men that I didn't want to sleep with. So yes, it was very hurtful in that sense. Not because of his relationship, but because of how it made me feel after and during something like that, you were.

Really upset and you made the decision to stop talking to him.

[Jane Doe]

I was heartbroken.

[Kayla Brantley]

And after this happened, Jane Said that they didn't speak for several weeks, but eventually they did get back together after Diddy promised her a trip to Turks and Caicos as well. The court heard that he spent $55,000 on that vacation. And this is the trip that we mentioned earlier in the episode which led to Diddy nicknaming Jane his crack pipe.

Jane claimed in her direct testimony that she would never have gone on the trip if she had known Diddy's trainer and escort, Paul, was also. But Geragos showed her text messages that she had sent to Cabral asking him to come, too. She also pointed out that Diddy bought her a diamond bracelet on this trip. Jane admitted that she was happy about receiving the bracelet, but claimed she only invited Cabral because Diddy asked her to do so.

You testified that Mr. Combs got you a diamond bracelet on the trip, right?

[Jane Doe]

At the very end, he shows me a diamond bracelet, yes.

And you were really excited, right?

[Jane Doe]

I thought it was very sweet.

Because you wanted diamonds, right?

Garagos also asked her about the sobriety freak off that Diddy staged just before quitting drugs. This was in October of 2023. At that party, she had sex with three different men for 18 hours in a hotel after watching Diddy perform a concert. And we should say here that this was just one of the points where Jane started to break down in tears on the stand during her testim. And it became very emotional at times.

You had agreed to it, right?

Unfortunately, yes.

She also said she lived in a large home in a nice part of Los Angeles that's bigger than the apartment she lived in before she started dating Diddy.

I would say that had I not dove headstrong on this relationship, I probably would have been a bit more successful in that time frame. But that's neither here nor there.
