Welcome back to the trial of diddy. It's Tuesday, June 17, 2025, and day 25 of the trial this morning kicked off with a judge rebuking the prosecution and defense over an online article that appeared to include sealed material about a juror. As we'll discuss later in this episode, there has been some controversy involving members of the jury that's dragged on from last week and has led to juror number six being formally dismissed yesterday. Today, Judge Subrainian was not happy that information about a juror which was heard on Friday during a sealed proceeding appeared to have been leaked to the public. Both sides denied being the source of the article, but the judge was not buying it and said, quote, someone is lying. He called it a, quote, flagrant violation of his orders and warned lawyers for both sides that there will be no passing the buck here, telling them, the buck stops with you. The judge said the case had to be tried based on the evidence and not in the media. He warned that lead counsel for the prosecution and the defense will face consequences for any further breach. On Friday, we also got clarity on the reasons as to why the prosecution asked for juror number six to be removed. According to the government, juror number six is accused of making inconsistent statements around their place of residence. The judge agreed that the juror, who is a black male, should be dismissed because the changes in his residency suggest an effort to get onto the jury. The judge went further into an explanation of the inconsistencies. His words are voiced by an actor.
Mark Agnifolo
In the robing room. He said the daughter lived in New Jersey. Then he said in the Bronx with his aunt. In the voir dire, he said he lived with his girlfriend who lives in New Jersey. These are the inconsistencies. The reason we have alternate jurors is if questions arise where there's a question like this, removal of the juror is required. The juror will be dismissed. He should not return.

On Monday.

It was then that Diddy was seen shaking his head in disapproval of the judge's comments. The defense argued that the juror is being targeted simply because he is black.
Hermania Rodriguez Poleo
Yeah. Then On Monday morning, June 16, the judge made the final decision to dismiss juror no. 6, who is a black man who loves 90s hip hop. And he will be replaced with a white 57 year old father who likes country music and lives in Westchester with his wife and kids. The defense strongly opposed the juror's dismissal and suggested that prosecutors wanted him out because he was black. The judge was quite displeased with that suggestion and said that Diddy, quote, has not got the right to a boutique jury that mirrors his race.

This week, the jury in Diddy's trial has finally seen footage of the infamous freak offs and the reactions were quite telling. A black female juror furrowed her brow and winced on Monday while watching the first of the three clips of the freak offs, which ran from 20 to 30 seconds. Another black female juror was seen moving uncomfortably in her seat and put her hand to her head as she watched the footage. The videos were only shown on a prosecution laptop and to the jury who wore headphones. Music could be heard faintly in the court from the videos and what appeared to be grunting. The videos were taken in October 2012 when, according to records shown to the jury, Diddy's ex girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, was taking part in a freak off at the Trump International Hotel in New York with two male escorts. One of them was known as the Punisher and the other was called Dave.
Hermania Rodriguez Poleo
Jurors have previously been shown stills from the Marathon sex sessions and they have also heard an audio featuring Jane. But just to recap a bit of the notable moments from last week, on Thursday, Jane Diddy's anonymous girlfriend, who had been on the stand for the majority of week five, testified that during a break from Diddy, she was present during a different iconic rapper's freak off. She said there was a hotel party in Vegas for this rapper's girlfriend and that she and others watched an escort have sex with a woman at a hotel room party. Diddy apparently was enraged that she had, quote, gone to another man's freak off. Now, there has been a lot of speculation around who this rapper could be, but the judge ordered that he was not to be named in court, however, the defense who really wanted this mystery rapper named did say that he was good friends with Diddy and that he was also at the top of the music industry. Jane also went into specifics around Diddy's bi curiosity and his role as a, quote, cuckold.
Karen Ruiz
Then on Friday, the court heard from Special Agent Andre Lemon, who was the team leader that executed the warrant on Diddy's Los Angeles home, and Jonathan Perez, one of Diddy's former assistants, who had some pretty wild things to say about seeing a video from a freak off with Jane and another man. Perez also spoke in detail about what preparation and cleanup were like for the freak offs and which we found out in court were referred to among staff as King Knights.
Hermania Rodriguez Poleo
Yeah, that's right, Karen. But maybe the biggest surprise of Friday actually came from outside of the courtroom with the appearance of Kanye west, who has of course been a vocal supporter of Diddy. Now west showed up to court clad in an all white outfit from head to toe. Kanye embraced Diddy's son, Christian King Combs and walked into the court with security alongside him. He went into the overflow room before leaving less than an hour after he arrived. Diddy has pleaded not guilty to all of the charges. Welcome to the trial of Diddy King Knights.
Karen Ruiz
Back to Friday's testimony. The first witness heard was Special Agent Andre Lemond, who led the warrant execution for the raid on Diddy's Los Angeles home. In court, two gun shaped boxes were opened and shown to the jury. Lamond testified to the weapons and drugs that were found in Diddy's LA home where his children lived. Lamond said there were six manila envelopes labeled with the letter K in and around one of the nightstands. He said they all tested positive for the drug ketamine. He also said there were two chairs in the security office, both with guns on them. He said that five guns were found in the office, including a shotgun and rifles. There was also a drum magazine found at the bottom of one chair with 59 rounds of ammunition inside. He said that these Magazines typically have 60 rounds, which suggests that a round was missing and that these types of ammunition are manufactured to penetrate body armor. He said that out of the six firearms that were seized that day, only five of them had serial numbers and one did not.
Hermania Rodriguez Poleo
Agent Lamond then told the jury that over 1,000 bottles of lubricant and baby oil were found in Diddy's Los Angeles home. He said there were 17 boxes of Astroglide found in the garage, which is about 900 bottles and 200 bottles of baby oil. Lamon also noted that in a large closet off the master bedroom there was a safe that contained a brown substance that tested positive for mdma. As we mentioned earlier, this is the home where Diddy's three adult sons and other family members lived. On another nightstand there was a printed document with instructions on what to do with Kim Porter's belongings following her death. As you know, Kim Porter is Diddy's former longtime girlfriend and the mother of four of Diddy's children. She passed away in 2018. The document listed what to get rid of and what to keep from a storage unit downtown, making mention of 30 fur coats and 200 pairs of shoes that Diddy's twin daughters Jessie and Delilah wanted to keep. During cross examination conducted by Mark Agnifolo, the focus was on the fact that the guns were not found in any other areas of the house, as well as the baby oil and Astroglide. When asked further about the amount of baby oil and lube, he confidently asked Lamon, buying in bulk, that's what it looks like to you. To which Lamon replied simply with sure.
Karen Ruiz
Next on the stand was one of Diddy's former assistants, Jonathan Perez. Perez said that he worked for Diddy from December 2021 to the month of Diddy's arrest, September 2024. He said that he was hired by Diddy's right hand woman, Christina Koram. After a week long trial period in Miami, Perez spoke very specifically about arranging baby oil and high heels for Diddy's freak offs. The prosecution's Madison Smizer asked Perez about the term king night, another term for Diddy's freak offs. She asked where he first heard the term, what it was and who told him about these knights. Their words have been voiced by actors.
Andre Lemon
When you were employed by Mr. Combs, were you aware of the term king Knight?
Sean Diddy Combs
Yes.
Andre Lemon
How did you learn that term?
Sean Diddy Combs
Through KK or one of the other assistant?
Andre Lemon
What did you understand the term King Knight to mean?
Sean Diddy Combs
I understood it to be Mr. Combs going to a hotel to have private time with a female.
Andre Lemon
How would you typically learn that Mr. Combs was going to have a king.
Sean Diddy Combs
Knight through KK or one of the assistants?
Andre Lemon
How much notice would you generally get from Ms. Coram or other assistance about a King Knight?
Sean Diddy Combs
Anywhere from two hours to a full.
Andre Lemon
Day at a high level. What were personal assistants required to do for King Knights?
Sean Diddy Combs
There was a lot of packing materials, making sure that he was going to have everything he would need for 12 to 24 hours without having to bother anybody. So drinks and food. We would bring liquor, music, lights and other personal items.
Andre Lemon
Were there ever times when you set up King rooms yourself?
Sean Diddy Combs
Yes.
Andre Lemon
Approximately how many times?
Sean Diddy Combs
I can't give you an exact number, but somewhere around five.
Andre Lemon
When you set up hotel rooms, what kind of items did you bring to the hotel room?
Sean Diddy Combs
Food, liquor, other beverages, a change of clothes, lights, music and other personal items.
Andre Lemon
What kinds of personal items would you bring?
Sean Diddy Combs
Like condoms and lube.
Andre Lemon
Did you ever include honey in your setup for King Knights?
Sean Diddy Combs
Yes.
Andre Lemon
What was your understanding of what that was used for?
Sean Diddy Combs
The honey like enhances a man's libido.
Karen Ruiz
Smizer continued. Her words are voiced by an actor.
Andre Lemon
Where would you get the items that you needed to set up a King Night at a hotel?
Sean Diddy Combs
Typically from the house.
Andre Lemon
And if they weren't in the house, where would you purchase them?
Sean Diddy Combs
Stores. Like regular stores, like Target, Walgreens, CVS or on Amazon.
Andre Lemon
Did you ever go to sex stores?
Sean Diddy Combs
Yes.
Andre Lemon
Who told you to go to those sex stores?
Sean Diddy Combs
Either Mr. Combs or a guest.
Andre Lemon
And what, if anything, would you purchase there?
Sean Diddy Combs
Like adult outfits and shoes.
Andre Lemon
What kinds of shoes?
Sean Diddy Combs
High heels.
Andre Lemon
And how would you pay for the items that you purchased for King Knights?
Sean Diddy Combs
Either on my company card or cash.
Karen Ruiz
Perez said that he would get cash from security to pay for the King Knight supplies specifically at the sex store. The court was read text messages between Perez and Kerem from May 2023 where she was asking him about prep for a King Night. Their messages are voiced by actors.
Jonathan Perez
Is the room done yet?
Sean Diddy Combs
Room is done. Just trying to get all bags down in truck.
Jonathan Perez
Copy. Let me know when you're all on your way to the store.
Sean Diddy Combs
Copy.
Karen Ruiz
En route to the store, Smizer asked Perez about the King Night cleanup. Their words are voiced by actors.
Andre Lemon
Did you ever clean up from a King Night?
Sean Diddy Combs
Yes.
Andre Lemon
When you went to clean up hotel rooms after a King Night, what generally did they look like?
Sean Diddy Combs
They were just a bit of a mess and disarray. Just like lots of sheets and towels and oils.
Andre Lemon
What did you do when you cleaned up these hotel rooms?
Sean Diddy Combs
Typically, the reason for going was to collect all of the items that were left behind. So anything we brought we would typically bring back with us.
Andre Lemon
Would you do anything else when you were in the room?
Sean Diddy Combs
Sometimes like a quick clean. Just putting the room back together in some way or gathering towels and sheets together just to so the room wasn't a mess.
Andre Lemon
Did you do that cleaning before or after hotel staff helped clean?
Sean Diddy Combs
Before.
Andre Lemon
Why would you do it before?
Sean Diddy Combs
Just to. Sometimes the hotels would know who was staying in the room. So just to kind of out of respect for the staff and, you know, just to kind of help the cleanup crew.
Hermania Rodriguez Poleo
The court was then shown a group text exchange between Koram Perez and another former assistant, Joey Chavez. In this exchange, Joy was letting Karam know that a person named Ricky, who was the main contact for the IV drip treatment for the day after a king night, was 40 minutes away. Karam then asked Joey how the cleanup was going. Joey replied, quote, slipped and fell twice, calling a bell card in 10 minutes. Here's miser and Perez again, voiced by actors.
Andre Lemon
When there were King Knights, how long would Mr. Combs generally be away for?
Sean Diddy Combs
Anywhere from 12 hours to a full day.
Andre Lemon
Were there any times you saw Mr. Combs and his guest after a king night?
Sean Diddy Combs
Yes.
Andre Lemon
How would they typically appear tired at the end of King nights? What, if anything, would assistants arrange for Mr. Combs and his guest?
Sean Diddy Combs
A good meal, a massage or a drip, like an iv?
Andre Lemon
What's the purpose of a drip or an iv?
Sean Diddy Combs
To put them to sleep.
Hermania Rodriguez Poleo
It was at this point that Smiser switched gears to question Perez about his having seen a video of Jane during one of these King nights. Perez said that about a year into his employment, he heard about a video while at Diddy's LA home. He said that there was a videographer named Brandon who was screaming the name of another one of Diddy's assistants. He said that the assistant was busy with Diddy at the time. So Perez himself went into the theater to see what the commotion was. He said it was then that Brandon showed him the video. Here is Meister and Perez again, their words voiced by actors.
Andre Lemon
Was there anyone else in the theater with you?
Sean Diddy Combs
Yes.
Andre Lemon
And did you end up watching the video?
Sean Diddy Combs
A portion of it.
Andre Lemon
What device was the video on?
Sean Diddy Combs
An iPad.
Andre Lemon
Who generally used that iPad?
Sean Diddy Combs
The staff.
Andre Lemon
And from what you saw, what did the video show?
Sean Diddy Combs
Jane and another man engaging in sexual activity.
Andre Lemon
And was there anyone else in the video?
Sean Diddy Combs
Mr. Combs in the background.
Andre Lemon
What did the other man look like?
Sean Diddy Combs
I didn't see him. It was a black man.
Andre Lemon
Who, if anyone, did you tell about the video?
Sean Diddy Combs
Mr. Combs and K.K.
Andre Lemon
Who did you tell first?
Sean Diddy Combs
Mr. Combs.
Andre Lemon
And what did you tell him?
Sean Diddy Combs
I told him the same story I just told you.
Andre Lemon
And how did he react?
Sean Diddy Combs
He was surprised.
Andre Lemon
How soon after you told Mr. Combs did you tell KK?
Sean Diddy Combs
It was the same day. So whenever she got to the house is when I told her.
Andre Lemon
What did KK say to you in this conversation?
Sean Diddy Combs
She said that in the Future I should just. In the future, things like that, I should just bring to her, and she would communicate them to Mr. Combs.
Hermania Rodriguez Poleo
About six months after the initial viewing of the video, Koram asked Perez to speak about it once again in private. Here's Meister and Perez, voiced by actress.
Andre Lemon
Did there come a time when you spoke with KK about this video a second time?
Sean Diddy Combs
Yes.
Andre Lemon
When approximately was that?
Sean Diddy Combs
Maybe six months after.
Andre Lemon
And how did that conversation come about?
Sean Diddy Combs
KK said she wanted to have a chat about something. So we went into the gym and she asked me to reiterate to her exactly what happened the day I found the video. Everyone who was there, where I was, just to run down all the details to her.
Andre Lemon
Did she say why she wanted you to reiterate this?
Sean Diddy Combs
She said that she had got a call from someone outside of the company talking about the video in some capacity.
Karen Ruiz
The prosecution then brought evidence in the form of a disc that was signed by Perez, which Karam had secretly recorded.
Andre Lemon
What was your understanding of whether that conversation was being recorded?
Sean Diddy Combs
I wasn't aware it was being recorded.
Karen Ruiz
The audio from this recording was played in court. Here's that audio voiced by actors.
Jonathan Perez
I don't really know how to bring this up, but bring that Bosu ball and sit on it so you're not standing. So something was brought to my attention last night, and it was two things that were weird. And both times, the only person I know of that was at the house and knows about it was you. One of the things I need you to tell me step by step. Don't leave out a beat. What happened? You remember you told me about something you found on an iPad. An outside person brought up something about it. So it is out. And I need to know, step by step, where you found it. What? Did you talk to anybody? Where were you in the house? What are you doing?
Karen Ruiz
Perez then recounts the story of Brandon finding the video in the theater.
Jonathan Perez
Was anybody else there?
Sean Diddy Combs
Maybe Gio.
Jonathan Perez
We have camera footage of who was in the house, so we'll be able to go back and know who.
Karen Ruiz
Perez lets Karam know that he did let Diddy know about the video.
Sean Diddy Combs
I was trying to save him. Save him from an awkward conversation with you. I went up to PD and said I found something on the iPad that the staff uses. I can lock it up for you. He said, okay. He deleted it. And then I told you.
Jonathan Perez
Besides me, did you talk to anyone about it?
Sean Diddy Combs
No.
Jonathan Perez
Did anybody ever bring it up again?
Sean Diddy Combs
No.
Karen Ruiz
On the tape, Perez says that a colleague advised him to delete the video, but he did not himself feel comfortable getting rid of it.
Sean Diddy Combs
I told PD and then I told you and you said that he said there should be an investigation. What I remember seeing from the video, it was set up and it was filmed on that device.
Jonathan Perez
Not someone took it off another device. But the iPad thing. Those are really the only people involved.
Sean Diddy Combs
Please, please really think the only people involved. Brennan was really freaking out. He may have saw something and realized what it was and was screaming. That's when I came running in. I told Rob I found something on the iPad and he said I didn't.
Karen Ruiz
Want to be involved in the audio. Kerem continues to press Perez about whether or not anyone else saw the video and he continues to say no. We'll be right back with more after this.
Hermania Rodriguez Poleo
So on Monday, the court heard from Ananya Sancar, a paralegal for the US Attorney's Office. Sankar is a summary witness, which means she's on the stand to support the prosecution's claims and make it easy for the jury to understand the timeline of events for this case. In particular, Sancar presented text messages between Khoram and Diddy as well as Jane and Koram. In the exchange, Diddy is asking about room preparations for King Knights. In one message he asks Kerem, is the room ready yet? Kerem replies with on with them now, any minute. Jane is on the way to the hotel too. In this text thread, Diddy stresses to Kerem that he really does not want the hotel to know it's him. With a laugh out loud, he says that he does not want any additional charges. This is Diddy being playing with Kerem about the fees he has incurred for damaging the hotel rooms with baby oil.
Karen Ruiz
Yeah, and Hermania, as we saw in another exchange, Kerram tells Diddy that his damage charges in the one hotel are always high because of the quote white. The jury also heard messages from Jessica Ruiz, who was Diddy's travel agent, letting Keram know that Arthur Paul, the male escort we have heard referred to as Paul, his flight details from LA to Miami were all set. In a separate text involving the same trip, Karam asks Jane to, quote, swing by Diddy's home on Mapleton in LA on the way to the airport to pick up a Guido package, to which Jane replies, quote, yes, of course. The court heard evidence that Guido is the drug dealer used by Diddy, whom Jane would pick up the drugs from and fly from LA to Miami for a freak off.
Hermania Rodriguez Poleo
In a message from Karam to Diddy in November 2022, they both are Very explicit about the drugs that Diddy wanted his head of security fahim to pick up and bring to Miami on a flight. Being sheepish, Diddy was brief in saying, I told ya. Karam pushes farther, tells Diddy, quote, all you ask was if someone was coming from Miami to bring something which was not specific. Diddy then responds, quote, Molly, 15 pills. Don't text think. The court also heard a conversation that was secretly recorded on Karam's phone between Diddy and Jane. Sankar said that Diddy called Jane on Karam's phone after Jane sent Cassie's lawsuit to Karam. Jane is in tears as she listens and speaks to Diddy. Their words have been voiced by actors.
Jane Doe
Hello? Hello? I'm sorry you feel this way. You can't really talk on these phones to make you feel better, baby. I called and reached out to you. I swear to you my love is definitely true. Just some kinky shit. I thought we both enjoyed. My family, my girls. I don't want you to feel this way. I'm trying to stop all this madness.
Andre Lemon
I don't know, reading it word for word, it's crazy to me. It just feels sick.
Hermania Rodriguez Poleo
A second recorded phone call was played for the court.
Jane Doe
I really need your friendship right now. I can't talk on the phone. Don't talk. I need your friendship right now, baby. Calling you back to make sure you're breathing.
Andre Lemon
You can't talk, but I need you.
Jane Doe
If you need me to. Whatever. You don't have to worry about nothing else. You feel me?
Sean Diddy Combs
Uh huh.
Jane Doe
Please pray for me. I need your friendship.
Karen Ruiz
Towards the end of Monday, the court also heard text messages from November 2023 post Cassie's lawsuit between Diddy and Keram where she was pleading to Diddy for the truth and spoke about knowing his quote kryptonite and warned him not to do anything stupid like not continuing to pay Jane's $10,000 a month rent and risk losing her support. Their messages are being read by actors.
Jonathan Perez
If you cannot be honest with me, this doesn't work. We all know what your kryptonite is. That downstairs felt like a lie.
Jane Doe
Come take my phone.
Jonathan Perez
Lying will break me and I feel like we're about to live this shit all over again. Make sure Robyn is not doing anything dumb like not having that rent paid on time.
Jane Doe
Can you make sure Robyn said her rent was paid?
Karen Ruiz
So that's it for today on week six of the Diddy trial. Be sure to check out and subscribe to trialpluscrimedesk.com if you haven't already. We'll be back on Friday as usual with all the latest from the courtroom in New York and a special interview with attorney Lisa Bloom. Thanks for listening, Sam.
The Trial of Diddy: Episode Summary – "King Nights"
Release Date: June 17, 2025
In the gripping episode titled "King Nights" from The Trial of Diddy, hosted by the Daily Mail and presented by journalists Kayla Brantley and Germania Rodriguez, listeners are taken deep into the unfolding legal drama surrounding Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. Once a monumental figure in the music industry, Diddy's legacy is now overshadowed by serious federal charges in New York, including sex trafficking and allegedly running a criminal enterprise. This episode delves into the latest developments of day 25 of the trial, highlighting courtroom tensions, controversial testimonies, and explosive evidence that continues to captivate the public's attention.
Judge’s Rebuke and Juror Dismissal
The episode opens with a tense courtroom atmosphere as a judge admonishes both the prosecution and defense for an unauthorized online article revealing sealed information about a juror. Karen Ruiz (filling in for Kayla Brantley) outlines the incident:
"The judge was not happy that information about a juror ... appeared to have been leaked to the public. Both sides denied being the source of the article, but the judge was not buying it and said, quote, someone is lying. He called it a, quote, flagrant violation of his orders and warned lawyers for both sides that there will be no passing the buck here, telling them, the buck stops with you." (01:05)
This breach led to the formal dismissal of juror number six, a black male whose residency inconsistencies raised suspicions:
"He said that Diddy, quote, has not got the right to a boutique jury that mirrors his race." (03:35)
The defense argued the dismissal was racially motivated, but the judge firmly countered, emphasizing the necessity for impartiality in the jury process.
Viewing the "Freak Offs"
A significant portion of the episode covers the jury's exposure to disturbing footage from October 2012, depicting Diddy's ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, engaging in a "freak off" with two male escorts at the Trump International Hotel in New York. Reactionary responses from jurors were palpable:
"A black female juror furrowed her brow and winced ... another black female juror was seen moving uncomfortably in her seat." (03:35)
These videos, shown exclusively to the jury on a prosecution laptop with minimal audio, aim to provide visual evidence of the alleged misconduct.
Previous Testimonies and Speculations
Karen Ruiz recaps prior testimonies, including that of Jane, Diddy's anonymous girlfriend, who detailed witnessing an escort's sexual activities at a high-profile rapper's party. Although the rapper's identity remains undisclosed, it's implied that he was a close associate of Diddy. She also touched upon Diddy's alleged "cuckold" interests:
"Jane also went into specifics around Diddy's bi curiosity and his role as a, quote, cuckold." (04:24)
Special Agent Andre Lemon on Raids and Seized Items
Special Agent Andre Lemon provided critical testimony regarding the raid on Diddy's Los Angeles residence. Several alarming items were uncovered, including:
"He said that five guns were found in the office, including a shotgun and rifles ... one was missing its serial number." (06:42)
"Over 1,000 bottles of lubricant and baby oil were found in Diddy's Los Angeles home." (07:38)
Jonathan Perez’s Testimony on "King Knights"
Jonathan Perez, a former assistant to Diddy, provided detailed accounts of organizing and cleaning up after the "King Knights" – a term referring to Diddy's stag parties. His testimony unveiled the extent of preparation involved:
"There was a lot of packing materials, making sure that he was going to have everything he would need for 12 to 24 hours without having to bother anybody. So drinks and food. We would bring liquor, music, lights and other personal items." (10:16)
Perez recounted setting up hotel rooms with items like condoms, lube, and high heels, and detailed the cleanup process to maintain discretion and respect for hotel staff.
Exposure of Recorded Conversations and Texts
The prosecution presented audio recordings and text messages that paint a troubling picture of Diddy's operations:
"He was trying to save him. Save him from an awkward conversation with you. ... He deleted it." (18:35)
"In one message he asks Keram, is the room ready yet? Keram replies with on with them now, any minute. Jane is on the way to the hotel too." (20:42)
Emotional Testimonies
Jane Doe’s heart-wrenching phone calls were presented, showcasing her emotional turmoil and pleading for Diddy’s attention amidst the chaos:
"I'm sorry you feel this way. You can't really talk on these phones to make you feel better, baby. I called and reached out to you. ... I need your friendship right now." (22:11)
Kanye West’s Courtroom Appearance
A surprising twist occurred when Kanye West attended the court in an all-white outfit, embracing Diddy's son, Christian King Combs. His presence added a layer of celebrity intrigue to the proceedings:
"Kanye embraced Diddy's son, Christian King Combs and walked into the court with security alongside him." (05:51)
Defense’s Standpoint
Throughout the episode, the defense maintained that evidence was presented in bad faith, suggesting racial bias in juror removal and challenging the credibility of testimonies. They vehemently opposed the dismissal of juror number six, asserting it was racially motivated.
As "King Nights" wraps up week six of the trial, listeners are left with a deeper understanding of the intricate web of allegations against Diddy. The episode promises further revelations, including an upcoming exclusive interview with attorney Lisa Bloom, set to provide additional perspectives on the case.
"We’ll be back on Friday as usual with all the latest from the courtroom in New York and a special interview with attorney Lisa Bloom." (23:31)
"King Nights" serves as a comprehensive exploration of the multifaceted trial against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, meticulously unpacking courtroom dramas, controversial evidence, and high-profile testimonies. For those following the case, the episode offers an in-depth analysis that bridges the gap between headline news and the nuanced realities of legal proceedings.
