Three of the four playoff spots are locked in with a week to go - as the Battlehawks and Defenders punched their postseason tickets. One spot remains with the Louisville Kings and Birmingham Stallions fighting for it. But Birmingham's hopes took a massive hit after an upset by the Aviators this weekend.

The Defenders lost starting QB Jordan Ta'amu for the year, creating chaos in a wide-open race. The Gamblers stun the Battlehawks and the Storm add to the Dallas despair.

Louisville stuns the Defenders in DC for the biggest upset of the season, while Dorian Thompson Robinson leads the Stallions to an overtime win against the spiraling Renegades, Luis Perez takes the starting role and unleashes the Battlehawks offense and the Storm survive to tell the tale after getting a test by the Gamblers.

The DC Defenders have won 5 in a row while the Renegades are going the opposite direction, losers of three straight. Meanwhile the Stallions are alive and kicking thanks to Dorian Thompson-Robinson. DTR led Birmingham to a gutsy upset at Orlando and the Stallions are back in the thick of the playoff race.

The DC Defenders look unbeatable after rolling up their fourth win in a row. The Battlehawks win the "Becht Bowl" by handing the Storm and ex-coach their first loss of the season. Meanwhile, the Renegades slide continues with a loss to the Kings.
