You're crazy.
A
What's going on, everybody? Welcome back to another exciting episode of the Vile Files. I'm your host, Nick, joined by my colorful. Did I ever use colorful? I don't know. My spontaneous. My supercalifragilisticexplidoci.
B
Perfect.
A
My wonderful partner in life. And cream to my crop.
B
Oh, my God.
C
Okay.
D
Wow.
E
He said cream within 30 seconds of the show.
A
Yeah, there we go. Natalie Joy is with us. Hope y' all had a lovely Thanksgiving holiday. We had a really great time.
F
What'd you do?
A
We went to Atlanta, ish area and spent time with Natalie's family. And we had a lovely memorial service for her grandparents who passed over the past couple years. Her gorgeous life that they had. They really did both in their 90s. I do have to say, now that we are married and have a child, you know, Thanksgiving and your family hits differently a little bit these days.
B
What does that mean?
A
Well, if you guys don't know this, I mean, when it comes to, like, meeting people, I'm a slow burn, you know, like, when it comes to love, I've, you know, I've. Like anyone else, I'm a little reckless. So sometimes I fall hard, you know, okay, sometimes I fall fast. But when it comes to people, I'm a slow burn. And when, you know, when it comes to meeting, like, the families of the people I've been dating, I'm kind of like, you know what? We'll see how this all goes. I don't know if you guys are going to be in my life. And now, you know, I've had five Thanksgivings with Natalie's family, and I guess I suppose this year was, you know, rivers. She's almost 2. And, you know, now when we go to these Thanksgiving, it's like, you guys are like, you guys share the same blood as my daughter, you know, and so I look at these people just differently, you know, Like, I really, like, they are family in the truest sense of the word. Anyways, we had a lovely time, Nally. And I gotta say, like, Nally's grandparents, who did pass, they had a great life, you know, they have a great family. Nally's family is as normal as anyone out there. And I say that with just a lot of gratitude.
B
Can y' all imagine if he was like. And that one aunt is just fucking.
A
Well, I mean, like, listen, every family is a little quirky. You know, we all have family members, but relatively speaking, nanny's got a great family.
B
Our Thanksgiving was really, like, put on by my grandparents. Like, they. That was the one time a year that my entire entire family gets together. My dad has seven children. There's, you know, a lot of great grandchildren in there. And this was like the one time a year that everyone gets together. I have a cousin in Hawaii. My brother's in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Like, we're just spread all over the country. So to have one, like, week where we're all together every year, it was so important to my Grandparents. And my grandfather died in April of this year. And so we had like their memorial service and they were from Jackson, Georgia, so we like had, you know, laid them and did the whole thing. But my. For Thanksgiving, my papa would like, say the prayer every year. And, you know, as he was getting older and older, they were getting shorter and shorter. And he kind of passed the torch onto my brother Tony. And this year, Tony starts the prayer and he's like, but I think, you know, I'm gonna pass this on to someone who's maybe a little bit better at this. And he plays a recording from 2016 where he recorded my grandfather saying the prayer. And he like, holds a speaker up and we're all just like sobbing. Like no one expected that. It's just like my grandfather in like, great spirits, like, perky, loud voice, like as we all remember him. And it was so emotional. I don't know. It was so nice.
A
I didn't cry, but it was a sweet moment.
B
Nick. I'm honestly surprised Nick was there. The packers were playing. I think someone called him down, being like, the prayer is happening.
A
I came down for the prayer.
B
You need to come down here as a.
E
As a good man of God should.
B
Exactly. And I will say, my dad, he's not mobile. He's like in a. It's very sad. He's in a. He was in the. The living room in like a bed pretty much the whole time. They would transition him into a chair for meals and stuff. But he, like, we didn't know if he was gonna be able to come. Like, we, you know, it was touch and go for a minute. And so I'm talking to my stepmom and I'm like, you need, like, let's find. She's like, I can't do this by myself. It was like a six hour drive from where they live. She's like, he can't sit for longer than two hours. I don't know what I'm gonna do. And I'm like, you need to find someone who's willing to like, travel with you like a healthcare. Someone who, like, I'm sure there's someone out there. We can pay them, holiday pay. Someone who like, doesn't have anything to do on Thanksgiving, who wants to make some extra money and like, be with a family, eat a good Thanksgiving meal. There's gotta be somebody out there.
A
That was your idea.
B
It was my idea. So she was like, okay, I'll ask around. So turns out she found someone. And it's the same woman that I guess has Helped my dad several times before, like, when he was doing, like, getting in and out of a pool, like, a year ago. I don't really know. Apparently, she's helped him.
F
Okay, okay.
B
She and her son come to Thanksgiving, and when I tell you this, I was, like, shocked at this woman's just, like, she was nowhere to be found most of the time. She had, like, the master suite bedroom on the first floor, because my dad and my stepmom were just, like, set up in the living room, and she's getting paid very good money. She brings her son with her. And the whole time, my stepmom was like, I, you know, I want to be able to be with my family. Like, I want to be able to eat Thanksgiving meal and not, like, have to feed him as well because he can't pick up a fork. So she was supposed to feed him all his meals. She, like, bathes them and changes them and does all the things because he can't do anything. And I, like, so many times we were like, where is she? Like, what is she doing? And she'd just be, like, locked in her room, and then she'd come out. And I remember sitting at breakfast, and I'm sitting there, and she's like, are you Amanda? And I'm like, no, I'm Natalie. And she's like, oh, is there any sausage left? And I'm like, oh, I'm not sure. She's like, can you go check for me? I'm like, I guess, like, sure. And then everyone's just kind of like, is this woman gonna do anything? Like, we were just so shocked at how much she just, like, did nothing. Did nothing. And I felt so bad for my stepmom because I'm like, you're paying all this money. You, like, wanted to be able. I mean, bless my stepmom. She just has taken care. My dad does everything. And she's, like, wanted one week where, like, she could just not have to do it all. And she was still stuck doing it all. I was so sad. I felt so bad for her. But that was, like, the drama of the weekend is, like, all of my siblings being like, where is this?
A
Well, guys, the meatballs were a hit this year, I am happy to say. I got. I got bullied into making meatballs again, and they did not last.
B
Look at you.
F
New Thanksgiving tradition.
B
There we go. Yeah, it was good. And I made my green bean casserole, and I made it with fresh green beans, and it was delectable. It was so good.
D
Awesome.
B
I fed River a meatball and then I went, and my dad was like. I was like, dad, you want to try some of Nick's famous meatballs? He was like, sure, you know, I'll try a bite. I give him a bite, and he's like, wow, it's pretty good. I'm like, do you want your own? He's like, yeah. So after I fed my daughter her meatball, I then went and fed my father his meatball. Later on in the day, my mom comes, and she's holding river, and they're. I'm giving. I'm mixing up some yogurt, and so I give River a bite. And then my mom's like, oh, I thought you were gonna give me a bite, too. I'm like, already fed one parent this trip. Can't feed two.
F
What is this foreshadowing?
B
Yeah, like, I'm already traumatized enough. But it's always so, you know, like, my mom coming to Thanksgiving has been. Obviously. My parents are divorced. They have been since I was very young. And my dad still holds this grudge against my mom.
A
He was still grumpy.
B
He's still grumpy. Like, my mom came to the memorial service, and she's, you know, was a part of my dad's family's life for 20 plus years, so she, like, knows all these people that are there.
A
He was mad that she was being too social.
B
He was mad. He was talking shit. He's like, what is she doing? And my stepmom's like, you know, I think she's just trying to be social, you know?
A
You know, being nice. He's like, this bitch needs to shut up.
F
Who invited her?
B
Who invited her? For real?
A
It's like. We did, actually.
B
Yeah.
D
Yeah.
A
But no, it was a great Thanksgiving. Now we're up at the lake. It's frozen. It's beautiful. It's charming.
D
It's great.
A
It's a winter wonderland.
F
I saw Natalie's story. Are you planning on skating that lake or.
A
Yeah, absolutely. It's just started freezing over, so I don't know. It's gonna.
B
Give it a couple days.
A
I stood on it this morning. Um, it's, like, hard, but no cracks. It's not fully frozen over the entire lake, but, yeah, no cracks. I mean, it's.
D
Yeah.
B
We don't need to lose anyone under the well.
A
Give it a couple days.
E
You don't need to realize how. It's a Wonderful Life.
B
Right?
A
Give it a couple days.
F
I love that movie.
A
Well, we have a lot to get into this episode. We have Luann, the Countess. She's joining us later this episode. She was at BravoCon. It'll be great to check up with the Countess Luann. Maybe she's got some insider tea on Roni. I know everyone's talking about this new. Is it apparently Locked. Locked in the new cast. Maybe she's a part of it. Are we going to have any of the OGs back? I don't know. We'll certainly ask Luann all about it. Also, we have a lot of TV to talk about. We had the Dancing with the Stars finale we'll get into in a moment. But we also, we had the Jesse and Jordan going deeper last week, and there's just a lot of drama going on in mom talk in general. So. Yeah, you know, listen, I was, I'm glad you all got to hear it. I appreciate the response. I honestly went in kind of nervous. I thought I should have been harder on Jordan. People seem to be happy with how hard I was on Jordan.
E
A tiktoker I really, really love posted a video about. He was like, okay, Nick Viall. I don't know who this man is, but he was really going in. It was awesome.
B
There we go.
A
I'm glad, I'm glad y' all thought that I was. I was definitely a little nervous. Listen, it's. I think with this conversation, I think not to. I mean, you know, we're talking secret lives of Mormon wives, but like, this is one of those times where you have like something we're a fan of the show and women, and then you have. It's like a serious conversation about a real couple experiencing real life problems. You know, coming in, I was really hoping that again, Jordan would seem like he really saw what we saw and saw his transgressions as bad as we did. When Jordan brought in his feminine wound, I, I honestly didn't know what. I felt like I was being gaslit in that moment. I don't know.
E
Feminine wound is a crazy.
A
Did he make that up?
B
Yeah.
F
Just like I've never heard this before.
E
Feminine wound. Like, okay, like, there's one thing us.
B
Women can't do and it's wound someone.
A
I was like, wait, so you're the victim?
E
I don't think you guys realize how often men are the victims in these situations where they're emotionally abusing their wives.
A
Like Jordan, at the end of the day, Jordan's just. He's mean to his wife. That's what it comes down to.
B
Like, he was. We don't know if that's changed.
A
He's been mean. He has Been over the years. And that's kind of the point, is that this was. This was a pattern. And I think when I left the interview, that the part that I felt like I didn't do that I wanted to do is I really wanted him to, like, sit with Jesse's accusations of him. And. And I wanted to hear him recognize that this has been a pattern. That when he felt small as a man or when he felt insecure, his choice and his response to do that was to just be mean to his wife. Like the person he is supposed to above all protect and take care of, he chose to be mean to her. Like, deliberately, consciously. And like, instead of just, like, saying that and being disgusted with his behavior, I wanted to. I was hoping he would come in and be like, this has been a huge wake up call. Like, obviously what Jesse did hurt me, but, like, more than anything, it's been a wake up call to my behavior. And I realized that in this situation, my wife, I left her no options. Almost. You know, I was kind of expecting that, but we got. Feminine wound.
F
I was gonna say, it kind of seems like you had a reason for everything or like, how to. How it was kind of Jesse's fault versus him taking responsibility for his actions.
D
Yeah.
B
And I felt like he also. Any time that he couldn't figure out his way to, like, get out of the question, he'd be like, well, maybe I misunderstood you. Maybe I just misunderstood the question. Like, I could just give me a little bit more time to, like, think of a way out of this.
A
And I wanted to be like, why'd you call your wife?
B
Yeah, exactly.
E
Yeah.
F
You know, is it when you're frustrated, you go to name calling versus conflict resolution. Right.
B
Why are you just, like, so willing to do it in front of your small children?
A
He blamed it on locker room talk. Talk, basically. He's basically like, my family. We talk this way.
E
It's like, gross. Yeah. The case.
A
But I don't think that's not true.
F
It's a cop out.
B
Yeah.
F
Because how can you refute that?
B
She said her family and his family are, like, best friends, that they're super close. And I feel like if his family spoke that way, maybe Jesse's family would be like, I don't know. Don't really want to be friends with them.
A
But there's a difference between, like, you know, even brothers and sisters or maybe even husbands. And by husband and wife, like, now we. We have a. A shorthand, if you will. We. We have an inside way, you know, but, like, you know, if you're like, oh, don't stop being such a fucking asshole.
E
Oh.
A
You know, like, when you're just like, rip. There's a difference between that and being like, you're being a real fucking bitch today. You know what I'm saying? Like, I just don't think this was a. You know, if you're a family that talks that way to each other, you either, like, you're either not hurt by these words and it's just like, saying the word, or you're being such a. Today, it's. It's taken with a level of like, you know, jokes. Like, it doesn't. You know what I'm saying? But clearly, this was a situation where Jesse said, you're hurting me. You're hurting my feelings. I don't like the way you're treating me. Can you please stop? Oh, can you stop? You know, and that's the part I wish I would have. I don't know. But I'm glad you guys were happy with it.
D
I don't know. I was gonna say we kind of got the answer when Jesse said, jordan's not allowed to work at the salon because he takes over things, and my family is all on the same page there. So, I mean.
B
I mean, even when she said there's no one in her life right now that is a fan of Jordan, I.
D
Feel like we have that answer.
A
It was telling Jesse's mom accompanied us to the interview. I really felt for Jesse afterwards because I had a moment with Jesse's mom, and I'll just say, like, Jesse's mom really feels for her daughter, and I wish them the best, but I really wish Jesse the best. If Jesse chooses to want to work on this, then great. I want to support Jesse in her marriage. And maybe Jordan just, you know, maybe he's realizing it now. I don't know, but I don't. He didn't strike me as someone who really was. You have to be disgusted with how you treat women or how you speak to your partner for it to really change. And I don't know if feminine wound.
D
Is the right word.
A
It was like, yeah, I'm in therapy. Everything's better now.
D
Jesse was kind of defending Jordan a little bit online, like, amidst the whole Fruity pebble thing. And this is jumping ahead and we'll go back to Fruity pebble, but Layla posted a video of Jordan, and Jesse said, like, I mean, to quote her, she said, silent during Fruity Pebbles, but let's continue to roast Jordan. That's cool. So, I mean, there Seems to be some form of, like, they're on the same page right now, at least.
A
Yeah, well, I mean, they are still husband and wife, and I assume that. I don't know, it would make sense that Jesse's, like, going to her girls, being like, hey, we're working on this now.
D
Yeah. Yeah, it is.
B
That does seem strange that Layla would continue the, like, narrative of, you know, when they're. When they seemingly are trying to at least work together and. And try to become a united front and try to, like, fix their marriage. To then have, like, one of your friends still, like, posting shady shit towards him does feel a little, like, icky.
F
I am gonna defend Layla in this moment just because the. What she posted was a trend, and it's a trend that's going on where it's like Superman, say something stupid or whatever, and then it's like something stupid that you've said. And so she was posting the moment where she walked into Jesse's house saying to Jordan, like, oh, do you pay rent for this? Or whatever. Because it was Jesse's house. At the same time, I just kind of feel like it was like, her saying that she said something stupid walking in. And I think that, like, they're now turning it into, like, as if she's, like, dogging on Jordan. But I think she was actually, like, taking shots at herself for saying the stupid shit.
D
I just. I love that Jesse took her social media break for one hour and then came back with the jugular. Fruity Pebbles.
E
Fruity Pebbles. What does Fruity Pebbles have to do with any of this? For those listening auditorily right now, I am eating a bowl of Fruity Pebbles.
A
With a whole damn box on her desk.
B
Is that, like, the family Family style?
E
Hey, hey.
B
With the way.
E
With the way these things are going about, it's gotta be.
B
I mean, for those of you who have no idea what we're talking about. Season one. It was season one. Yes.
D
Season three or something.
B
Season one. Early on, we had this, like, very funny, seemingly, like, inside joke between all of the moms.
E
It was always a sex thing, though.
B
There was something that had to do with sex within Demi and Brett's relationship that, like, correlated to Fruity Pebbles. They never publicly said what it was.
A
They told everyone privately. The first time we met Demi, she told us yes.
F
Do you remember the scene from season one where Whitney's, like, reenacting it for Macy and standing over Macy's thing and.
E
She'S not wearing any underwear?
F
We still have no idea what it meant.
A
I think a lot of people kind of figured it out, right?
F
No, I thought something completely different.
A
What'd you think?
D
I thought she put Woody pebbles in her coochie and let it fall out.
A
Like, that's.
F
I thought the way that Justin said it, but yeah, like, I literally thought she did a little dip and then was like, all right, lick it off.
E
A little food play.
A
This is a slightly personal question, but do you guys have that. That kind of muscle dexterity where you could, like, just drop a pebble?
E
Kegels.
B
It depends on how many kegels you do a day. But I don't put anything inside of me that shouldn't go in there.
E
I don't think that's a healthy ph.
B
I feel like post Fruity Pebbles maybe isn't the most, like, clean ingredients to put inside of your body, but that's not what it is. What it is. She urinated in his mouth. Breaths and direct stream. It wasn't like, I don't know this details. I don't. I don't know.
E
Here's what we do know. We do know that what Jesse said was verbatim. Grandpa Brett likes to drink her piss like it's dirty soda, and he gulps it down like water. And that's what fruity Pebbles is. And that's now a vocal stim in my head.
B
So allegedly, her urine tastes like fruity Pebbles.
E
Fruity Pebbles.
B
That's where the joke stems from.
F
Cheers. And then there's a scene, I think, either from the second season or first season that's going. That's recirculating right now, where they did a taste test on three different drinks and had Brett try it. And we're like, what does it taste like? Like, what does it taste like? Trying to get him to say it tastes like fruity Pebbles.
D
Yeah.
F
But, yeah, I also think that if it has to be a direct stream because if she's peeing in a cup and he's putting a straw in there, we're doing too much.
D
Yeah. Too much. Yeah.
B
That's a bit.
E
It also kind of takes just.
B
We don't need to get into it. I did find it interesting that Demi's response to this was first, like, how dare you? Like, this was a private moment between me and my husband, which is interesting because they did, like, they were, like, dressed up as it for Halloween. It was, like, very much joke within season one.
A
Yeah.
C
I don't.
F
I guess.
B
But then quickly turned it into, like, it. Let's double down, princess. Real tiktoks making it a trend. Eating all the Fruity Pebbles.
A
Like, we're in the middle of a very serious essay allegation coming from Demi while simultaneously.
E
Yeah.
A
Making Fruity Pebbles as a piss kink.
F
Your brand.
A
Yeah.
F
The video that they posted of them in bed and Brett has the cup with the yellow liquid in there. I was just like, this is too much.
D
She also brought Fruity pebble Rice Krispies to Thanksgiving.
B
Yeah.
F
Honestly, I mean, by all means, make the joke of it.
D
I'm like, I, I. What is she supposed to do? What is she supposed to do?
A
I see it.
E
I get it.
F
Her statement was what my husband and I did one time behind closed doors was a consensual and private experience in our marriage. I won't let a private act between my husband and I be a distraction from a serious act I did not consent to. I shared this information with Jesse in confidence nearly two years ago. It's very telling that she's choosing to break storyline and bring it up now only after her affairs come to light. This is nothing more than a desperate attempt to shift attention away from her own behavior.
D
I think she's valid.
A
Well, me one, not private. You told Jesse and 50 other people.
D
Yes.
A
You dressed up as.
B
It was the running joke of the season.
A
Yeah, it was the inside. It was.
B
Every time Demi post.
A
It's the worst kept joke.
B
Every time Demi posted on Instagram, it was something having to do with a box of Fruity Pebbles.
A
She was like teasing it. She wanted people to ask. She told people offline and she told us.
B
Taking the heat away from her affair. I think Jesse has done everything possible to take accountability. She's gone on a national podcast. She's openly talked about it. She had a season, a whole season surrounding it. Like, I don't think she's trying to distract whatsoever. I think she's actually taken every shot fired at her that she possibly can. And now she's just like.
E
Well, the idea of coming off of a social media break to go for the nuclear option.
B
Yeah.
E
Is something that I respect so, so, so deeply. It's like Selena Gomez level mastermind. Amazing.
D
I just wish they left the piece at the season finale, like, where they were friends for two seconds. Like, I feel like we had the light. We saw the light.
B
That was never gonna last, though, unfortunately.
A
Because, you know, we're Netflix talent now. I won't be hosting this next upcoming reunion. I don't think this stuff's gonna be a part of it. I hope it is.
F
I think from Jesse's original video where she said the whole Brett likes to Drink the dirty soda. She said in there that something happened during the reunion that is unforgivable from Demi and that's why she made the video that she made.
B
Yep. Yeah, but this, but talking about what Fruity Pebbles actually is is probably not a conversation. Yeah, because yeah, that happened after whatever.
F
Demi brings up at the reunion.
E
Well, in, in happy non disgusting news from Mormon wives. Whitney, our girl, Roxy Hart.
F
Baby, you called it.
E
I called it. I feel like Nick with Taylor, Frankie Paul.
B
I, I, I think this is like great for her. I honestly think this is exactly what she needs to do. I am curious though, can she sing? I don't know, but I guess she'll.
A
Like if she can.
E
She will, yeah, she can do anything.
B
I am curious though because obviously we had, you know, Taylor, Frankie Paul doing being the Bachelorette and she got a lot of criticism for like leaving her children and like prioritizing her and her career and finding love and whatever. I am curious how Whitney and maybe this is just on like a human level, mom level question of just like how she's managing both. Right. Because right now her career has skyrocketed. She just did Dancing with the Stars for what, three, four months. I know she has kids in like school level. Maybe they're homeschooled. I don't know. But like how like to be in LA for four months doing Dancing with the Stars and then to now shift to New York City doing Chicago, like that's takes so much of her time. How is she managing like prioritizing being a mom and her kids who I imagine have some sort of schedule and routine that like, you know, and I know their home base was Utah. So it's like how I just so curious. 3 I'm just so curious like how.
D
That I mean they moved to LA for Dancing with the Stars, right. I feel like I saw a TikTok saying that that's what they were doing. They were living in like Hollywood and.
A
I think Connor, you know, is very hands on, very stand.
E
Yeah, yeah. Also, I mean as a person with no kids, like I don't know how to do that. But I do feel like there are a lot of like, especially on Broadway, like there are a lot of Broadway stars with kids and like people who seem to figure it out and like serve on the stage.
A
I'm sure she'll figure out. It's a fascinating question to Nellie. It is interesting with the stars and Broadway for Whitney, it's like it's not her, you know. To your point, Mary, if Whitney just becomes, let's say for the next six years, she's like, she's, she's Roxy from Chicago. I mean, she'll figure it out. It'll become their new life.
D
Yeah.
A
To Natalie's point, Whitney has gone from, all right, let's, we're just, we're going to uproot our life. We're moving to la, we're going to do Dancing with the Stars, and then now we're going to uproot our life, we're going to go to New York, we're going to do Broadway. It's a lot for all of them. I mean, it's yet to their credit. I mean, I am curious how they're making it all work.
D
People don't do Roxy for more than like a stint though. Right.
F
But even to Natalie's point, I'm like, even if it's like a month, two month run, like she's still gonna have eight to ten shows a week.
B
And then she's also like rehearsal. You know, I feel like they're just.
F
Even you get like one day off.
B
Like, you know, Whitney Carson from Dancing with the Stars, who I know has two young boys, like during filming of Dancing with the Stars. It's like they depend so much on their, you know, you know, I don't know if they take their kids out of school. I don't know if they're just away from their kids for the 43 month period or if their kids, you know, a lot of them don't even live in la. So like, I'm just so curious, like how it's managed. Obviously we have work very busy, we're constantly on the go. We don't have, you know, she's not in school or anything yet. So we're still able to do that. But we realize like once she is in school, our life has to drastically slow down, you know, and it's like I just can't imagine what is going through Whitney's head of like, I'm finally getting like everything I've ever wanted in my life. And it's obviously happening at a time where like she's got three kids who I'm sure like demand her attention just as much as Roxie Hart in Dancing with the Stars does. So it's just like fascinating how everyone manages it all. I don't know. Yeah, well, speaking of hot people doing things, our next guest is hot and she's doing a lot of things.
A
She's always doing the things, including Joe Bradley. And she had a rendezvous with her ex lover's mom, which she talks about as one does. Yeah. And that's all up next with the Countess Luann delaseps. It is winter so hopefully you're not feeling too hot and steamy. Because last time you were on the show, you were in studio, and I was. I was fanning you, and honestly, well.
C
You know, as it's winter, there's no need, darling. And I'm not in studio, unfortunately, because I'd rather be in studio with you.
A
I just enjoyed it. I just, you know, I enjoy.
B
Speaking of hot, how are you?
C
I'm great. I'm great. I. I'm out in the Hamptons and taking a. A little break this week before I go back on my tour.
A
I know this is a podcast, but I almost want to ask for, like, a house tour.
C
Oh, I know, right? Oh, the house. I just renovated this house, so I am so happy. Let me show you quickly my view. This is the water in the Hamptons. And, you know, it's a little cold out there today, but it's warm in here.
B
Cute. Tell us about your cabaret show. How has it been going?
C
Oh, it's been going great. I played in Vegas. I saw you in Vegas, Nick. And. And I did a show on Friday at the House of Blues.
A
How was that?
C
Which was awesome. Listen, all the Bravo fans were there, so I thought, you know what? It's a good time to do a cabaret show. And it was very cool, and so was Bravocon. I actually had a really good time. I lost my voice on the second or third day, but it came back just in time for the holiday show.
A
Did you do anything other than, obviously, kicking ass and performing at your cabaret show? Did you do anything wacky and wild at Bravocon? Have you ever hooked up with anyone at Bravocon?
C
Well, a lot of flirting has gone down at Bravo Con. There's only two, so. There was only two, so. Well, a lot of flirting went down. And other than that, I went to see Thunder down under, which was. I'm playing Australia. So I was doing a little, you know, research.
B
Yes, of course.
A
Yeah.
B
Yes.
F
Best place for research. I heard that you met Jo, Bradley's mom also during Bravo College. How was that?
C
Let's just say, you know, I felt like I put the hoe in holidays. It was, you know, it was so interesting. I was sitting with. I was with Tamara and Teddy, and this woman walks up to me, you know, around my age, and she says, I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I'm Joe Bradley's mother. And I went, oh, okay. It took me a second to gather.
A
Myself, and you were like, and I'm his lover.
C
No.
A
That's too bad.
C
Thank you for putting him on the planet. That's the best gift you could have given the universe. Yeah, because he's great. You know, listen, Joe was there with his new girlfriend, and so, you know, I said hello to him at some point with a new girlfriend. And. And, you know, and it was just so cool to meet his mother because, you know, she's a businesswoman. She's got her own business and furniture business, which is thriving. And, you know, we talked for, I would say, 45 minutes. She stayed with me. So, yeah, we had a lot of catching up to do. It was very. It was. It was very cool.
B
Talking about meeting the parents when all of that came out, wasn't it on? It was on their reunion. Right. On their show reunion.
C
I guess it was. I heard it was. But really, it all started in the clubhouse with Andy.
B
What was your reaction when you heard that that went down at the reunion?
C
I was like, don't they have anything else to talk about?
B
Well, of course.
F
The whole season, other than.
C
Other than our, you know, brief encounter in New York after Watch what Happens Live. But I was, you know, I was. Let's say I felt good about it because there was nothing wrong with. Was kind of innocent, although he looked really guilty. But I've been down that road with the pirate, so I know how he felt.
F
Guess the pirate.
C
Oh, who can forget about the pirate? Anyway, I was just giving an interview and I said, you know, listen, if I slept with a pirate, I would wear it like a badge of honor at this point because I'm so open and honest about my relationships and stuff. So. But, you know, we definitely had a connection, and there was, you know, chemistry. And that's what I like about him. He's, you know, he's a guy who has grown up in the south, well raised, good manners, and that's important to me and I think mature beyond his years.
B
What is your relationship status these days?
C
Well, I am dating. I just did a show in Honolulu not too long ago, so I saw James from the Love Hotel.
F
Okay.
C
But James lives in Hawaii. I mean, it's easier to get to Paris than it is to get to.
B
That's true.
C
You know, his life is very much so in Hawaii. My life is very much so in New York. And even though we adore each other and see each other when we can, James is like, you know, Lou, you.
A
Know, you should date.
C
I don't want you to go out alone. So he's very grown up and has very little ego about that, which is super cool.
B
Is there a world in which you would ever, like, host Love Hotel?
C
Well, for me, it is the perfect fit. A lot of the girls and the guys in terms of dating. And for me, I think it'd be the perfect fit because people are always asking me about that, how do you get guys and how you flirt and how you seem to have this knack for gentlemen, let's put it that way. So now I'm actually doing an audiobook for Klaus with the Countess, which has been a long time coming. And I'm going to add a chapter on dating and flirting in there, because people are always asking me about that. So, yeah, I think hosting something like the Love Hotel, it would be a great fit for me, don't you?
A
We do. Not to backtrack a little bit, but I'm curious. Your lady friends who are around your peers, your age group, give or take. I know you're friends with a lot of different people, but when you have an encounter like you did with Joe Bradley, do. Do some of your friends like, that are around your age? Are they, like, quizzing you? Are they a little jelly? Are they being, like, luann, like, how do we get some of that, like, young ass?
C
Like, well, well, listen, you know, I typically don't date that young. And like I said, Joe is, you know, wise beyond. Beyond his years. So I. I often tell my friends that it's really the energy you put out there. And I don't apologize for anything, really, in terms of what I like about guys and how guys I feel are a lot easier to deal with than most women. And so I think it's really about the energy you put out there. Did you see that thing with Wes, the backseat?
B
Oh, yeah.
A
I didn't see it.
C
Oh, you didn't see it?
A
No.
C
Oh, my God. So Wes is on the plane from, you know, Bravocon, and I got on, and I just kind of leaned over the back seat and said, what are we drinking? Champagne? And he took a snapshot of me. I didn't even know it. And he went on this whole rant about, you know, how much he loved that moment, which was kind of a flirty moment. And so I think that my housewives or friends that are my age, I think they like the fact that I like to flirt. And I don't think that they are jealous. I think that they are often in, like, wonder, like, how did that happen? And oftentimes for myself, because it's about being in the moment, having good energy. I like guys, so I like to talk to guys. He happened to be sitting right behind me, Wesley. And so, you know, we started talking, et cetera. And then this kind of thing went out about how it went viral for him, this moment. And, you know, I love that I have that kind of effect on people like him.
B
West would have been a fun one for you to dabble in.
A
Is there another gentleman in Bravo that you would be interested? Like, you know, like, you're watching Bravo, and you're like, I would.
C
Oh, well, most of the cast of Southern Charm.
D
Okay.
C
There was a moment where I was with Andy and Craig. It was Craig. Yeah. He looked especially dapper that whole Bravo weekend, didn't he? Kept on changing up.
A
He looked very nice, I will say. One of his hairdos. He kind of looked like he was a waiter at Ed to Bevix. Oh.
C
And I'm thinking he looks so debonair.
A
He did like, debonair. But he had. You know what I'm talking about, right? Or that, like. Like, loop. You know, it's like, like, what, are you performing in Greece? Or, you know, he's single.
F
Try new things.
A
Yeah, he's just mixing it up. He is the bachelor of Bravo right now. He's Mr. Hot Commodity.
C
Right. Well, there you go.
B
Did y' all share a moment?
C
We did. We did. At a party, which was kind of like. Actually, it was a party thrown by the head of Bravo PR Jen Geyser. And I came late because I did a cabaret show that night. So I came in at, like, midnight, and by then, kind of all the girls were kind of, like, fizzling out, and I was just getting started. Okay.
D
Good night.
C
See you.
D
Yeah.
C
That was Andy and Craig and thriving. And one more from Summer House, Kyle.
B
Oh, Kyle.
C
Kyle was hanging out, so I hung out with the boys. We stayed for a little while longer, and I had a great time with them. You know, it's so much fun, the Bravocon, because it's like your family somehow, right? It's like you're your relatives of sorts, you know, because we're all.
B
Yeah.
C
I'm surprised nobody killed each other. It's.
B
You know, it's like you all have the same father.
F
Speaking about relationships with women, I also saw that there was a little beef between you and Erica Jane, that you were asked who the rudest celebrity Bravo. Liberty was, and you said Erica. And then you guys were given an opportunity to squash the beef, and she refused.
A
Oh, no.
F
How do you feel about that?
C
I'm fine with it. It's not like we've ever been really friends before. And, you know, it was like a bad bitch kind of term of endearment. Let's call it that.
F
Okay, okay. What made you say her name?
C
Well, she's a badass bitch and, you know, entertainer, so I have a lot of respect for that. And, you know, when you're in the moment and you're dealing with fans and you're trying to have some fun with them, you know, it was, like, kind of scenario.
B
Question. Luann. I feel like this is the most, like. Like, thing that gets talked about every year is, like, who was mean? Who, like, snarked somebody like this? I feel like this is always talked about year after year. Is it really something that, like, bothers you women when someone's like, oh, yeah, I tried to talk to you, and she, like, brushed me off? She didn't say hello. Like, is that something that really is.
A
Like, Depends on who you ask. Probably.
F
Yeah.
C
I mean, I guess it's never pleasant when somebody's not outwardly friendly.
B
Right?
A
I. I mean, I had someone that, like, I. I know, and they were out to lunch with someone. I don't know who they're with. I was getting lunch. I saw them. I waved hi. I didn't walk over. I was like, I had 20 minutes to get my lunch. I was in a rush. Weeks later, I found out that they were all upset that I didn't come over and say hello. And they're like, you don't like me? And I'm like, what are you talking about?
C
You know, things get miscrewed. All miscrewed, miscrew all the time. I mean, right? Like, for example, I said about Dorit, you know, she's always with Kyle. She never is friendly to me. Doesn't make an effort. You know, I like, you know. You know, when somebody likes you or wants to get to know you better, Right? You make an effort.
F
Totally.
C
Now that you didn't go over because you're probably trying to be polite, and you were in a hurry and you didn't want to interrupt. So that gets misconstrued sometimes. And that happens all the time on Housewives.
B
I feel like it does. I feel like they're always complaining about that.
A
I think you're just too busy to be mad and hold grudges, though.
C
I'm really not a person that does hold grudges, and I've learned through my years of the Housewives, you know, it's better to squash the beef, as Andy would say, and move on, because, you know, the show's all about conflict and resolution. When you don't have resolution, it gets dark, right? You want to have some sort of, you know, light at the End of the tunnel. Like, you know, maybe we can be friends.
A
We should get you producing the Valley, Luann. Speaking of producing, before we let you go, we are hearing rumors that the Rony cast is set. It's locked. It's ready to go. Lots of speculation about who is going to be a part of that because it seems to be like another mix up. I know. Obviously the reboot really didn't land. Curious. Luanne, what do you know about it? What can you tease? Any chance you're going to be a part of it? Spill the tea.
C
Well, let's spill the tea, shall we? I think Andy Cohen squashed it, right? He squashed the beef with the fans. And I think the fans are really upset to hear that the OGs are not coming back. So I don't think they are. Otherwise I would know. But I think there's other things in the works.
F
That's what he teased. He said that Legacy wasn't going to come back, but that you will be showing up elsewhere. I was like, can we tease anything on that?
C
Not really.
F
Damn.
C
All I want to know one of these episodes of the show. Not really. I feel very blessed because I've been able to do my cabaret shows. You know, I'm playing. You know, I'm going out to Kansas City next week. I'll be in Cincinnati doing holiday shows and then in New York doing Sony hall with Christmas cabaret. And so I feel very fortunate that I'm still working after all this time. You know, Carson Kresing and I had this conversation. He goes, girl, can you believe we're still around? And so, you know, I did Crappie Lake, the spinoff for them. Then I did the Love Hotel. Right. So, you know, I feel like I'm still part of the family. I was at Brago Con, and so, you know, I've been able to have this long career, and I'm talking 15 years now in reality, which is kind of unheard of. And then, you know, break off and do cabaret, which is my love affair. So I feel like the story's not over.
A
Like doing ultimate road trip not over.
C
Well, I don't know what iteration it will be, but I feel like that there's something coming on and I think the fans will be pleased.
B
Yay, love.
A
Okay.
C
But you didn't hear it for me.
B
No, no, no, no, we didn't. No, we didn't.
C
But I'm hoping that something new and exciting to the table for the OGs.
A
Okay. Ultimate Road trip.
D
Maybe.
A
Maybe, maybe.
B
Or hosting.
A
Or hosting.
C
Or hosting. Or hosting. Love Hotel, which for me, I've been dreaming about this for years. The Love Hotel. Because listen, you know, a lot of housewives have become single on the show and it's time to hook our housewives up.
A
Truly, there needs, there needs to be more dating in Bravo world.
C
Absolutely. And I'm so glad. The Love Hotel worked really well. And I feel like I ran away with the prize. I'm the only one that left the hotel with a guy. I mean, truly, I mean, other girls left the hotel with guys, but I don't feel like it was the same way.
A
You seem to be the most open.
C
Well, I was really. I put away my phone intentional for the weeks that we're there. And I kept an open mind and kept an open heart about these guys who. What? It takes a lot of balls to walk into a show like that. You don't know who we are. First of all, they didn't know they were going to be dating housewives. They don't know anything about this except that it's going to be a dating show. So I give them kudos because if you watch the show, they look so natural, like they've been doing reality forever. So I thought that the cast and the guys they brought along were great. I mean, they did a great job. First of all, I thought they were good looking guys. A lot of silver foxes. Right. But you know, James really won my heart.
B
Next time you're in Hawaii, I'm sure maybe y' all could get married.
C
When. When I'm ready to hang up my cabaret Giovanni dresses for flip flops. That'll be.
F
There you go.
B
Flip flops and cargo shorts. Yeah.
F
No time soon though.
A
Luann, it's always a pleasure catching up with you. Can you please remind our audience to where they can find your cabaret tickets?
C
Countessluann.com and I'm posting on my Instagram, so I can't wait to bring them a very Countess Christmas. And of course, you know, I'm going to Australia in the new year, so that's super exciting. Playing Bondi Beach. Keshe is opening, so it's like a big bang.
D
Oh, my gosh.
F
Wow.
C
Yeah, I'm super excited about that and other upcoming shows which are around the world because I have a new tour which is going to be the Love Tour based on my experience with the Love Hotel and of course my dating life in general. So I'm excited for that.
F
I can't wait.
A
Well, we're excited to see what's to come for you, Luann. Hopefully it's the ultimate road trip, but sounds like something we're excited to see what it is. Go check out Luann's cabaret show wherever you can see it. Luann, always a pleasure.
C
Thank you guys.
B
Bye.
A
You as well.
D
Take care.
B
Well, for those of you who don't know, before I was just crushing on the vial files as co host, host, CEO, coo, I was a surgical technologist and I was waking up every single day at five o' clock in the morning, putting on a pair of fig scrubs, driving to work and assisting in surgery. Well, we have our winners. We have Robert Irwin and Whitney Carson are your whatever season Mirror Ball champions. What season is this?
E
Congrats, diva.
D
I say 19, but I feel like season 34.
F
34.
A
34. Damn. Well, Whitney got her second mirror ball. Her first partner was Alfonso, who is now the host of Dancing with the Stars. So that was a nice little moment. There's also, isn't there like, drama happening in the Dancing with the Stars universe now that.
B
Well, it is unfortunate, you know, that their like, moment is kind of being taken away by this, which I think is honestly kind of stupid. It's so Whitney Carson, like a while ago posted saying that, like, her husband is a golden retriever, posted a bunch of screenshots of their text messages where he's just like, like a very happy texter. The complete opposite of Nick. Nick's like, nice. Okay, cool. Yeah. Okay.
A
I don't know why throw me into it.
B
Sorry. I'm just like the opposite. The opposite of this. And then her husband is just like very exclamation points. Like, yes, baby, 20 exclamation points. Emoji, emoji, emoji, emoji. Like very big texture. So I guess she's just showing that that's like the golden retriever side in him and she's kind of like, like she presses on the message which, like highlights it, but doesn't delete everything around it. So she's posting a bunch of these examples, and she's posting like crazy. It was like, I don't know, six, seven examples of.
A
You needed seven examples of that.
B
Well, that's. The trend, is that you show that this is, like, an ongoing thing. Like, this is how they take.
A
Oh, that's a trend.
C
She was doing a trend.
B
This is a thing.
A
See, trends will get you in trouble.
B
Yeah, yeah, we're learning. So in one of her screenshots at the top of the message, you can see where her and her husband are having a previous conversation. She. He's like, oh, I should text him. She's like, yeah, text him. And then he says, zac Efron is here. And her response to that is clear as day in the screenshot. Yeah, they're trying to get votes. Which at the end of the day, is not, like, really a crime. It's not. It's maybe a little snarky.
F
It's also to her husband.
B
It's to her husband. It's not like she commented that on social media.
F
If I can't be honest with my husband, where can I be honest?
B
It's exactly what every single one of you haters needs to start doing. Like, just start texting someone in your life. You know, like, you don't need to comment under someone's profile and, like, be a hater and a troll. Just do what everyone else normal does and, like, talk to your people.
E
It's also why we have close friends stories, everybody.
A
Yeah, I mean, listen, it's a. She was definitely being a hater, but, you know, she's. She's in full competition mode.
F
That's what I was gonna say. I was like, I don't know so much as, like, haters.
A
Like, I'm sorry Zach showed up.
F
Like, like, what else are you gonna say?
B
Like, I'm yay.
A
I'm just like, girl. Well, she could say like, a million other things. Like, yeah, pretty cool, huh?
F
That's one of her bigger competitions. That's where I'm like, I would be say the same thing if my husband texted me. I'd be like, okay, sure, whatever. You know what I mean?
A
Lose her brother final. He just does.
B
Well, I wonder if there's. If there's also a message, like when Dennis Quaid was there for Elaine Hendricks, where she. And she's like, yeah, they're just trying to get votes.
A
They're just trying to get votes.
B
You know, probably.
A
They're literally all trying to get votes.
B
This is one point she's stating a fine game.
E
You know when you see someone get fried online and you're like, ah, that shit I do all the time.
D
I'm just like, how did she.
E
Like, that's something I would get in trouble for.
D
How did she look through her text and be like, these are the ones, and not be like, that? That's gonna get me canceled?
E
Because she wasn't thinking about it that deeply.
A
I'm the most shocked about that that she did.
B
She clearly wasn't, like, reading everything, you know, like, we have. We are so conscious of, like, any video we're posting. Like, we make sure there's not someone in the background, you know, talking about, you know, private matters or something. We wouldn't want the world to know. I make sure there's never, like, a reflection of the, like, River's face in something. Like, we are so uber conscious of what we post. And clearly she just was like, oh, here's just some screenshots. Whatever. Who gives a fudge? Like, he's excellent.
F
He's cute.
B
She wasn't thinking it was that deep. And, like, of course this becomes a thing. Like, while she's trying to celebrate being a champion and, like, winning.
A
This happened after they won.
B
I mean, I think the.
F
The.
B
This video that she posted about her husband was, like, a while ago.
F
Yeah. It had to have been two weeks ago because that's when Zach was.
A
Why is it now a thing?
B
Exactly. Because this is what people do because they hold on to shit. They hold on to shit until they feel like this is the best time to tear someone down.
F
Is Tamara Judge behind this?
E
You know, here's the problem with.
B
With this. With.
E
It's just. It's a shitposters nightmare. Because as a. As a shit poster, you're just being earnest online and being like, this is dumb. I'm gonna post this, but do you know how many times I will text Justin and send him something and say, can I post this? And then he goes, no.
D
I say, know what you're about to do?
B
And then I don't.
E
So I think Whitney really needs a Justin in her life.
D
It's deleted now.
B
Guarantee you she will never make this mistake again.
D
She won't.
B
She will be, like, watching over her shit and making sure everything is, like. Like, crystal clear from now on. But it does. That is just, like, annoying at the.
F
End of the day.
B
It was. And I think she is, like, genuinely very close with Danielle. I don't think at the end.
A
Do you think she's like, yes, I'm trying To get votes, huh?
D
Probably.
B
Literally, probably. She went up to Danielle and Dylan being like, you trying to get some votes, huh? You brought in the big guns. Like, she probably was talking to their face.
A
Exactly. What? Almost. Almost certainly.
B
And then her husband texted her, and she's like, yeah, no, I know they're trying to get votes. I already gave them shit for it.
D
It.
F
I would text Whitney if I were Danielle being like, so I heard what you said about me.
B
People make stuff so deep.
F
It's not that serious.
A
It was a good season, though. I mean, their numbers are through the roof, really. It'll be interesting because there's been a lot of conversation about, like, this particular cast and how well it performed. But, you know, I'm curious why they think this cast performed so well. Because it's not as if, like, is it because they had more, like, Internet celebrities?
F
I think it's like they have a lot of people whose careers are just starting versus, like, established careers or, like, the resurgence of that. It kind of feels like Dancing with the Stars is becoming more of a stepping stone than it is like, a. Hey, remember who I was?
D
I thought about this over the past week. My thought is that it's because Dancing with the Stars is so ingrained in social media. TikTok trends now. Like, I feel like, like, four seasons ago is when they started dabbling in it, right? And it was the showmances, it was the dances, it was the trends. And now, like, everybody's doing it. Even if you're a celebrity that doesn't do social media, when you go in Dancing with the Stars, your dancer makes you do it. You're professional.
F
Right?
D
You know, so I feel like that's where they're grouping in all these younger audiences, or you're able to guide your storyline outside of just the show and, like, garner more votes and, like, the.
F
Alex Earls and like, Dylan's who are, like, younger and newer but, like, bigger on social media. And, like, I feel like, yeah, it definitely ties in because Internet stars were.
D
Always a part of it. Like, JoJo did it a couple of years ago. Like, people have always done it, but I think it's more about the trends that are being posted, rather just like, hiring or casting social media stars.
E
And I also think this year they just. They. The. They cast it so well of just specifically, like, the type of Internet stars that are in that, like, even through the. Their finger was just, like, on the pulse of even with, like, Andy Richter, Elaine Hendricks. Like, they're like, they know they're. Everyone on there is like pretty much beloved in a way. Or even if they're not, they're extremely.
F
Compelling or like a sensation of some sort.
E
Yeah. And then you bring in the Mormon wives and everything that they. Those girls touch her is gold.
F
I mean, Robert Irwin's Robert Irwin. Fine.
E
Like, it was just. It was a. Whoever. Whoever was in the casting department really, really shout out.
B
She knows what she's doing. That's why she's been there for so long.
A
And she's now. She's now casting traitors.
E
Zach. The Mundo baby side too.
B
Go good for her.
A
Breaking news. It turns out we're gonna see more of Dylan Efron. Not so much his brother. Maybe his brother will make a cameo if they need votes, of course. And Boston Rob are teaming up for a new YouTube series.
B
This. Honestly? Yeah. I feel like this is exactly what it's called.
A
Everything's a competition. A new YouTube series where Survivor winner Boston Rob and Traders winner Dylan Efron go head to head to head to. And a series of unpredictable challenges.
F
No, I can't wait. I love watching people do things. Like. That's just what it is. Watch us.
E
Do we too.
A
Watching people do things.
B
Especially hot.
F
I do. You know, Especially hot people doing things.
B
Especially hot people doing things. Southern charm. We have a rapid recap. If you missed the Most recent episode. Ms. Pat has a tea silver gator candle. Which is important to mention off the bat before we forget because really what we need to talk about is the Sally Vanita Craig situation. Vanita thinks Sally centers men and Sally is like, yeah, I'm trying to fuck. Sally also says she would Austin the minute he breaks up with Audrey. Rodrigo does not trust this behavior. Craig is single and drinking and having sad boy hours because his gay assistant is his best friend. Someone got Madison a baby's first spray tan kit at her baby shower. Austin and Shep think Craig is too much of a pussy to seal the deal with Sally. Also, there's a new guy in the group who has a mustache. Shep has apparently slid into the DMS of new girl Charlie, and she said he gives dad energy. Once again, Shep fumbles a hottie by being old and weird. Molly declares she could never date a man who doesn't know what a euphonium is. Exactly. Diva. Know your worth. Sally and Craig flirt while playing football on the beach. Craig is impressed that she as a woman can throw a spiral and nature heals. Sally is like, okay, things are happening with Craig. Vanita is like, this is not girls girl behavior. But then Craig goes into the ocean with new girl Charlie, and they get flirty. Sally is like, this is not girl code. I'm the only one here that gets to flirt with the man that hates my best friend. Also, not for nothing, Madison thinks that Austin isn't that into Audrey, and Sally wants Austin more than Craig. Anyway, Austin tells Audrey. I mean, yeah, I do like her, but that doesn't matter. And Audrey is, like, question mark, question mark what? Anna Whitney wore a sweater to the beach.
E
Ah, the classic cycle of this girl is my bestie. And now she is. Yeah.
F
I just think it's kind of creepy when girls move a little too fast. Where I'm like, you two just met last year. Now she's your best friend. But then it's like, you want to date the guy that, you know that they're having issues with. Like, why would you call Vanita your best friend in the first place? Unless it's, like, some sort of, like, solidifying your relationships in this group.
E
And then it's also, like, Vanita, of course she hasn't decentered men. She's single and trying to fudge. What do you think is gonna happen?
B
But also. And the fact that Sally keeps just, like, forgetting that Vanita and Craig have beef, you know, it's like, yeah, come on.
F
Is she your best friend, or do you barely know her? Know what's going on in her life?
E
Is she your best friend, or are you guys on the show together now?
A
What is the beef? That she was. That she was team Paige, that Vanita.
B
Came on the show, said what she said, and then Craig went on watch what happens live and said, like, I'll never speak to her again. She's not my friend. And they never, like, have had a conversation since. So there's just, like, some beef there. Sally being Venita's quote, unquote best friend.
A
They're close now.
B
They're close now.
A
Yeah.
B
And she just, like, continuously forgets that there's, like, some awkward tension between the two of them and talks to Vanita about Craig, like. Like, they're all kumbaya. And then. And she just keeps me, like, I just forget that y' all have beef.
D
Oh.
F
Then also saying that you're not interested in Craig or, like, that it's not. Not that serious. Just trying to have fun. Then it was saying that you would hook up with Austin the second that his girlfriend goes away.
B
That was a crazy comment.
F
Unprovoked.
B
No. Literally came out of nowhere.
F
Like, you were friends with his girlfriend, essentially. And then you're like, yeah, but the day that they break up, I'm. I'm. I'm sliding right in.
E
I'm in those sheets. That was awesome.
A
For the Craig stuff. I'm, you know, I don't get the whole, like, you know, the centering men. I mean, I get it. I know what it's all about. But, like, what is that supposed to mean? Like, to your point, Mary, it's just like, well, if you're. If you're single and you're trying to.
B
But I guess the one guy that your best friend is having issues with.
A
Like, Craig isn't the one guy gay. Craig's the hottest guy in Bravo Nation. You know, like, if you're Sally.
B
But he's also not the only guy in Charleston. Like, I get that he's on the show when they're trying to make a storyline, but it's like, literally on the.
A
Show, the guy on the show is the most eligible man in bed. And Bravo Nation. And like, if. If Sha. If Sally were to legitimately date Craig, that would. That would really help out her career.
B
Sure.
F
But in that case, then I'm like, I'm team Charlie, because I'm also like, Charlie literally just showed up being herself. Craig is clearly enamored with her. So are all the other men foaming at the mouth. And then Sally gets mad at Charlie because Craig is paying attention to her, where it's like, I thought you're not that interested.
E
Is Sally Loki, the Sheena of Southern trip?
B
The, like, cry for attention when they're playing football and she's like, charlie, Charlie, Craig, Craig, the football guys. Come on, let's play. Hello. She's like, clearly trying to get them to stop talking and they're just like, completely ignoring her. And then she's like, seriously? You would go after Craig after everything?
F
Charlie should just go play football. And he's like, we're both playing. And she's like. So I was like, what the fuck?
D
I did have a question. Is a girl that's able to throw a football hot at the guys? Like, I just think in my head, I was like, oh. Usually in my head, that'd be like, oh, you're like, like a girl's girl or a boy's girl and you're like one of the boys if you're, like playing football with them. But maybe that is like a turn on for some people.
A
Well, I don't. I don't think. I don't think the boys care. But question for the ladies. Do you think she is a not a girl's girl? If she can throw a football, is she a pick?
D
Me?
E
When I was younger and still trying to impress. Impress boys, when I still had men centered in my life, I used to play football all the time, but it was not in the way that the boys wouldn't to see me playing football. I was getting down and dirty. So I don't know if that's necessarily gonna work for a guy, but when she's like, teehee, I can throw this. I think guys like it when you're a little bit bad at sports, so they can teach you how to be.
B
Good at the sport. I don't know. I felt like they really did like, having Sally throwing the ball. Austin, like, continuously complimenting at, like, how good she is at football. And then to have, like, Audrey be like, I'll play. And then she, like, throws it poorly, and it's like. Like, he clearly was like, all right, you know, like, this isn't any fun. Like, come on. Yeah. It just was like.
A
Like, if they want to them, then they're into it.
E
I just always remember in, like, elementary school, when I was playing sports, it was like there would be two girls playing football with the boys. It was me and those. It was this one other girl, and I looked like a little boy. And the other girl was, like, serving while she was playing, and they were all obsessed with her. It's really just like, if they find you hot, they're gonna find what you're doing hot, and if they don't, they're not going to.
F
I mean, that whole scene for me was amazing because it was like psychology 101. It was like Sally's throwing the football in hopes of getting Craig's attention, but Craig's looking over at Charlie being like, hey, take a shot with me. And she's like, I don't think so. And he was like, but you have to. So then he ends up taking a shot with her. Sally's over here trying to get attention. You've got Austin and the other guy giving Sally all of this, all of these compliments for being good at football. Then Craig's looking at this whatever the game that they were going to play, and he was like, I don't want to put this together. Charlie goes, I'll put it together. And then Craig is like, all right, so I think we match up the.
B
Yellow with the yellow. And I was just like, yeah, it's.
E
Just crush 101, baby.
F
Literally.
A
Think Charlie or Sally has a better chance of dating Craig.
B
Charlie.
F
Charlie.
B
She doesn't want him as bad. Yeah.
F
Charlie's like, I'll take it or leave it. Not that big of a deal. And Sally is.
A
Do we know. Do we know if they do date?
F
All I know from the trailer was that it's going to be, like, a messy relationship.
A
We don't know them. They did perfect. You know what I'm saying, though?
F
Like, Charlie and Craig.
A
Yeah. I mean, if. Then it's just a showmance, like, you know what I'm saying? Like, this was filmed, like, well, last summer or whatever. If. If we haven't seen pictures, if they're not hanging out, if they're not, like, you know what I'm saying? You can't really hide.
D
I agree with this.
A
A relationship in Bravo world.
D
Then.
A
Then they're not legitimately dating.
B
But we do have friends. Like, bachelor pad, where he clearly, like, you know, she could have come over there a couple times.
A
Oh, maybe they hooked up. Maybe. Maybe they had a showmance. I'm just saying, it's clearly. It's clear that nothing happens.
F
Like, I think they hook up for sure. Yeah. I. I'm just curious if it's going to be something where, like, Charlie steps back for Sally, but I'm just, like, it just doesn't. I don't know. I feel like if a guy wants a girl, he's going to go after that girl, and the other girls are just going to have to deal with it. But usually the women fight as if it's, like, their choice.
D
My optics of this whole season is that it has to be showmances. It's like you brought in Charl to date Craig, and then out of nowhere, is Sally single and super into dating.
F
Whoever on the show, whoever's available.
D
I'm like, this is literally just a showmance season to me. I don't know.
E
Why doesn't Sally date Shep?
F
Listen, I feel like it also. It's a bunch of hot people that are single. By all means, everybody mix. And mean girl, just make sure you're doing it on camera.
B
Shep wears a visor. No one wants to date. Wears a visor.
A
It'll be like episode seven. And, you know, Craig will pick Charlie, and then all of a sudden, you'll see. You'll see Sally sitting on a park bench, spiraling. And then, like, Shep will, like, you know, walk up to her, like, you know, walking the streets of where are they? Where are they from?
E
Can someone on the Internet make a sad Shep fan cam of him fumbling and send it to me, please?
F
Wait, we need to talk about the dm. The dm.
B
The dm.
F
Is this a preview for what's to come? And, sir, you had the time to change your shirt.
C
Shirt.
F
You were hoping to show up matching her.
A
That's.
F
He's.
E
I'm sorry. Shep is a lover.
F
He is a lover boy.
B
I do love the fact that he was, like, very open about DMing Charlie. Like, he wasn't trying to make it some just, like, weird, like, don't tell anyone. He just was like, oh, like, you didn't wear the outfit. And then he's like, I DM draw on Instagram. And then they all made it weird. You know, that was.
F
Well, Charlie was funny with the. Like, it was giving dad energy where it's just like, oh, is that what's to come? And then it's like, come to find out. It's just like.
E
Like, oh.
F
I just thought because I saw. You know, I don't know. It just seems very much like. I thought it'd be funny. It'd be cute if we matched. But it's like, are you hitting on me? Or, like, are we. Are we friends? What's happening here?
A
Are we over the term girls Girl?
D
People don't really replace it as much. Yeah, I don't think you see it as much as a comment right now.
A
I didn't. You know, I never heard of it until. Until, like, five years ago, until Nikki Glaser came on the show and she had, like, just read a book, really. And I think. I don't know. I don't know if she was just trying new material, but she was saying some shit that really pissed off my audience. And that was the first time I ever heard the phrase pick me or girls girl. Because, like, she had just read some book and she was, you know, she was being Nicky and she was being funny, and she was kind of, like, doing her bits. And some of my most earnest audience members were not in love with it. I had never heard the phrase, pick me or girl's girl Girl. And now and then in, like, everything else, it became like every other fight, it was, you're not a girl's girl. You're a girl's girl. You're not a girl's girl. I don't know. I feel like I'm. I'm kind of sick of the accusation these days.
D
It's an old term.
A
Yeah.
B
Well, the real accusations are in Salt Lake City, where we still can't figure out what the hell happened on the airplane. And producers are still pissed. They didn't pick up cameras so we had a whole episode of everyone still arguing about what the hell went on on the airplane. And if you missed the most recent episode of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, here is your rapid recap. Meredith and Lisa can't figure out why everyone was weird to them at church. But don't worry, Mary has planned a Sunday brunch to get to the bottom of the plane situation. P S Mary didn't invite Britney, even though she apologized for calling her ungodly because her dog didn't think it was a good idea. So anyway, let's get to the plain debrief. Meredith claims she was crying inventing Talisa for 30 minutes minutes. Which again, the number has now changed.
A
For like, it wasn't a 15.
F
15, 30. The whole plane.
B
Heather and Whitney were like, no, it was psychotic and diabolical and lasted the entire flight. Meredith said that's not true because I watched Crazy Rich Asians in another movie and I don't remember. And do not ask me how Crazy Rich Asians ends because I do not know. Thank you very much. Meredith feels like her and Britney are allowed to not like each other, but she is sorry that she made her cry. Lisa says she has global entry, but she forgot to use it and was listening to Kendrick Lamar so she's uninvolved with all this drama. Whitney claims that either Meredith has hatred in her heart, an anger problem, or a problem mixing substances. Meredith is like, that's crazy. I don't know what you guys want me to say. I just don't like Britney. Also, Whitney should focus on her own healing and stay out of my business. Lisa talked to Britney who told her the plane ride was the sixth worst thing she's ever experienced in her life. Whitney is triggered by Meredith because her dad was an addict and thinks she's the same. I'm sure the storyline will end with well, but the main event of this episode is Bronwyn, Muzzy and Gwen who step into the public serving three generations of ass bobs with a side of to plant bonsai trees, therefore eating at a level previously unknown to mankind. Brava all around to all of these incredibly gifted women. And then Meredith and Britney meet at a gorgeous gazebo to talk about the plane. Meredith apologizes through gritted teeth, but they do seem to have a genuine moment and agree to move on with civility, conflict and resolution.
F
Baby, hell yeah.
B
I did love that Britney was like, this was the sixth.
F
Sixth worst.
B
That's so honest. It's like when people are like, this is the worst thing that's ever happened to me. It's like the worst. Like, out of everything in your life, this moment is the worst.
A
It gave it validity.
B
It did. For Britney to be like, no, no, no, let me count. That was bad. That was worse than this. Okay. No, the six, it was like.
E
I feel like she was like, well, it's not top five, but it's close.
B
It's six. Yeah.
A
Either way, the specificity gave it validity. It did.
B
And Meredith not having any idea how any of her movies happened does.
E
Cause to be fair, I've seen Crazy Rich Asians a couple of times. One of those times probably was on a plane. I don't remember the ending of it either.
D
Lisa nailed it.
F
Yeah, but you have to say that when Lisa was. I was the exact same way. Because I've seen it twice, and I was like, I don't know that I could answer this question. I also didn't just recently watch it on a plane. And as Lisa was going through, it's like, oh, yeah, that did happen.
B
Oh, yeah, that did happen.
E
See, when she was saying that, I was like, I don't remember any of this.
B
You know, Lisa felt so validated when she was going through, and they were like, all right. You know, she was like, ha, ha, you bitches.
F
Because she was the first one to go. Is that. Is this what we're doing? Are we actually doing this right now? Oh, shit. I know the answers.
D
I do agree. I do agree, though. When they were like, well, what happened? I would have been like, really?
B
No, I love this.
D
Is this where the conversation's going?
E
I want to know what Lisa Barlow's favorite Kendrick album is.
B
Oh, my God.
F
Global Entry. That is so funny. Whitney is 100% correct if you have global entry, you know, because you had to go to a global entry office, go have an interview, have your photo taken, and you have a card issued to you. There is no confusion about global entry.
D
I will say I'd be doing the same thing, though, where even if she meant to say pre. What is it? Tsa.
F
Doesn't matter for customs.
D
Regardless. You know what? I'm with her there. Did you. Did you guys peep that? This is the restaurant that they were in season one?
B
Oh, no.
D
Or that's the same when, like, Jen Shaw was like, this is who I am. Like, love me for who I am. Like, this is how I grew. Like, this is like. This is an area where they had, like, one of the biggest scenes that's.
B
Always referenced Salt Lake City staple.
D
Yeah.
F
Must go visit.
D
The second they walked In And I was like. And then when. Who was it? Angie was like, oh, her guest. And then they flashed back.
F
Oh, that was so funny. Yeah, not her guest.
A
Some of you who listen to plus know this, but Brahwen is entering her villain era for me.
F
Oh, no.
A
First of all, overall, like, how I see housewives, I put them into two categories. Do they need this? And if so, how do they operate? Or don't they need this? And is it like just. Is like, are they just having fun?
F
Like Kathy Hilton.
A
Thank you very much. Perfect. Thank you. Perfect.
D
Nailed it.
A
Exactly. Kathy Hilton versus Dorit. Kathy Hilton says, like, I don't need this. This is just goofy. This is fun. We can watch with her. We laugh. It's like unserious. The drama she's involved in is this like wild and wacky and we're all signing up for it. Like Boseman, she doesn't seem to need this. Like, and how she carries herself, like on this show is awesome. It's just. I don't know how to explain it, but it's. It's refreshing. And then you have the dorit of the world who like kind of needs it. And like, how does she go about doing it? Brawin. When I first fell in love with her as a housewife, like here is this woman who she didn't seem like she needs it. You know, she seemingly has this rich husband. I don't know how much he's worth. Can we Google what does the Internet say? I mean, we know this is wildly often inaccurate, but what does the Internet say Todd is worth? Because like it presents as he's potentially like a billion. Like he could be like a billionaire. I don't know, a couple hundred million, twenty million. I don't know know. But he's like rich, right?
F
Yeah, he's the co founder of 24.6 million.
E
According to a Yahoo article from like 2020 pilots.
F
He's a co founder of Palm Pilot.
A
Could have been anything, but sorry, it says 24 mil. Anyways, he's rich, right? No prenup. So if he, if he dies, like she's like half, it's half hers. Right? So she doesn't need the broadman.
F
She can get rid of him.
A
She doesn't need the money. And so when she signed up, it was this like, I'm just here to have some fun. And now I feel like, I feel like she needs it, but not because of money. And I think her behavior is changing in a way that like makes it almost like sometimes hard to watch specifically like her relationship with Todd. I'm also, like, kind of confused because, like, when we've spoken with Bron in person, she says lovely things about her husband Todd. When we've met other people who have hung out with Bron and Todd, they have a lot of nice things to say about. But, like, the fact that she is using her relationship in the manner that she's using it and some of her personal storylines, I'm just. I'm just kind of confused. Like, do you really not need this show and you're just having fun with your girls and you're just, like, participating and playing along when it fits? Or, like, do you really need it and you're using your family as a main storyline and throwing your marriage under the bus? And I feel like she kind of needs it. And I think the people who need it, it changes how they make decisions as housewives. And I think when you need it and it's not for money purposes, things can get really dark really fast.
D
I think it's the opposite. I think, like, the first season, we saw maybe 50% of who she actually was because she was new to the group. And now we're seeing, like, Bronwyn at her full potential.
F
And sometimes I do think that people second season, they go overboard because, like, they hear the criticism of first season. So then it's like, okay, now I'm going to this big version of myself, and a lot of people tend to not like that as well. So then hopefully by the third season, she likes.
A
I love Broadway in the first season. Right? I love it. She was this honest person. She's still very accountable for the most part, but it's just more the. Oh, you kind of need this. Like, you. You want the attention, you know, like, why does Bron do it?
E
I don't think she needs it, but I think she wants it. And I think maybe because she wants it, she thinks she might need it.
A
Well, that's a sign. Wanting it and needing it.
E
I think she want. I think she likes being a housewife on tv, and so I think she's leaning into the character of the housewife on tv, where maybe in the first season we saw her a little bit more. Like it was her first season, she didn't really know. What I will say is, anytime I see her and that Bob walk into a room, I'm locked in, I'm seated, and I love everything that she's doing.
B
But she also doesn't, like, take over every scene and, like, make it about her, you know, which I feel like the women who need it. It do. Because they feel like, oh, my God, I have to stay on the show. I need to make everything about me. I need to be the one who's in the drama and who's fighting with everyone. She doesn't do that.
A
Using her relationship as a storyline.
E
Maybe that's just what's going on in.
F
Her life right now.
A
I don't know.
D
I mean.
F
Which is.
A
Yes.
F
The best thing for a housewife to do is to be honest about what's happening in their life. Yeah. If she was like, todd is perfect all the time, we'd be like, okay, move on.
D
And the tabloids are talking about it.
A
I think there's a difference between, yeah, like, everything's perfect, and, like, a silly rumor of a blog talking about how her husband was looking at pics and it. Maybe it was another girl turned into Brawin, like, openly campaigning for an open relationship, which is like, listen, love the. Love the storyline. It's fascinating. But it's like, yeah. I mean, it's potentially at the. Unless Todd is fully in on the. Babe, I got your back. Let's just. Let's just go. Let's just go Hamlet's. Have some fun with the. With the fans. Then, like, he's not, you know, like, either.
B
He.
A
He has to be either in on it that way, or she's just like, I'm gonna do what I need to.
B
Do, or this is actually what's going on in their life, and he's not fighting it because he's just like, yeah. I mean, this is. This clearly was an issue that happened where, like, he had to leave the house. House. She confronted him about this picture. He got very defensive in a way where she was like, I don't like this. You need to leave. He left the house for a couple days. She took off her wedding ring. Like, this was clearly an issue that, like, caused a really big rift in.
A
Their marriage, but it stemmed when she. She heard about this rumor.
F
Well, technically, Lisa brought up the storyline first with the. He made out with one of my friends while farting the whole time.
B
Yes.
E
And then the Twitter thing happened.
A
But her willingness to be like, all right, yeah, no, I'm a housewife. I'll talk about it. Is definitely a choice. And I did.
D
I.
A
And, yeah, it makes her a great housewife. But I. What compels her to want to do that? She felt seemed like a person who, like, had certain boundaries.
B
Well, I think Bronwyn is an open and honest person, so I think when she signed up to do the show, she Was like, I'm gonna be open and honest and share my life in a way that, like, feels authentic. And, like, when she's going through shit, she goes to her friend Whitney and is like, listen, this just happened. This is what's going on in my life. And we have Whitney being like, yeah, well, Justin and I, like, have a little arrangement. And that, like, you know, interests Bronwyn. So then she goes home, she talks to Todd about it. Like, I think this was just something that actually happened in their lives. And there happened to be cameras around.
F
And Todd has the option to not be on the show because Mary's husband was on the show for the first couple of seasons, and after everything that happened with rumors about the church and everything, he no longer.
A
Well, that's what, like, that's kind of what I'm saying, though, is, like, that's. It is possible. You know what I'm saying? Like, Mary's another example. Doesn't seem to need it. Mary clearly has her boundaries. She's. You know, I just think it's interesting that this relationship and her life is, like, fully fair game in the Bravo world. She doesn't need the money, and it's just fascinating that she's willing to make these choices. And I. If she really needs it, because she loves being a housewife so much. And, like. Like, what did she say on the episode? She's clearly so bored.
D
The bonsai tree thing. I'm like, what are you referring to?
E
I don't know. I just think it's funny that the way we read Housewives differently because y' all are thinking about her relationship with Todd. Meanwhile, I'm just like, man, grandmother, daughter, granddaughter, all have the same haircut. That's pretty. That's awesome.
F
Her daughter also looks like Gracie Abrams.
D
Yeah.
E
Yeah, she does.
B
I think it's also, like, she's either gonna talk about what's going on in her life with her marriage and her family, or she's just gonna constantly, like, be in the other women's drama. It's like, it's either one or the other. And which one seems like more like you're thirsty.
F
Yeah. And being authentic is showing what's going on.
A
Selling out your selling out your family makes you seem like you're thirsty.
B
Doesn't seem like she's selling him out if he's involved.
A
That's what I'm confused about. Is he involved? Is he not involved? I keep hearing that he doesn't really like Housewives. He doesn't like being a part of it. He does you know, he doesn't want to be involved.
D
I heard.
A
I've heard that from multiple people.
B
Didn't he go to watch what Happens live and get mic'd up and sit in the audience?
F
Yep. Yeah.
B
I think he doesn't seem to be.
A
Down for it anymore, or he just.
E
Knows how to play a character.
F
I will say that I do think that Bronwyn also is just from last season, especially with, like, the necklace and all that stuff. I think her position this season is like, I'm just going to be as upfront and honest about everything.
A
Because even not, I loved the necklace. I. That's when I loved Bron. I loved.
D
Like, that was inauthentic tick.
F
She didn't actually buy the necklace.
B
She fronted the other women, like, her husband was buying her million dollar necklace.
A
It has a great storyline. It was fun. That's. That's. That's like.
D
That's a storyline for her.
A
That's what I loved for her. I mean, I just like, to me, it was like, you know what? I'll just pretend I bought an expensive piece of jewelry, whatever. No harm, no foul. I get some women mad at me because I didn't actually buy it. Whatever. To me, that's so much different than being like.
B
But she never thought it was going to be public that she didn't actually buy the neckline necklace, maybe. So she wasn't gonna come on reunion and be like, by the way, everyone, I didn't buy the necklace. We had Lisa being like, well, I spoke to the jeweler, and the jeweler said, you didn't buy it.
E
Emma the jeweler.
F
So now that she knows what it feels like being exposed for lying, I feel like her whole position now is like, I'm gonna be so insanely honest about everything that no one can use.
E
It against me because I've already said it. It's kind of like what Jesse is like what Jesse did about her affair. It's just like, I'm just gonna say this and I'm gonna own it, and it's gonna be from my mouth and it's gonna be my version of what I wanna speak on, and that's it. And then Harlow can't come in, like, three weeks and bring up this tweet, and then all the other girls are talking about it before I get to say something about it.
F
It was like the dinner with Meredith where Meredith obviously is, like, trying to protect Bronwyn, being like, well, somebody maybe I got misinformation. And then she was like, oh, okay, I'll tell you what happened? Because she was like, I'm not gonna like let this become something else in a week from now that like I said something to Meredith and twisted things. This is my. These are my words.
B
Yeah.
A
I'm just really fascinated with the people who don't need the money.
E
Maybe they just like being on TV.
A
And making good tv, but, you know, to what cost?
F
I love a good episode.
A
No, this season really is. Where do they go from here?
E
To the stars, Nick. To the stars.
D
I think it's very important to end on Meredith Marks. Flip it around, Wicked Witch. They'll get it. They'll know if they know.
A
What, like Wicked Two Girls?
E
Yeah, don't worry about it. Meredith Marks. Flip it around, Wicked Witch.
A
