I like firmer.

B
It comes with extra fill. You can take out and remove as much fill as you want or need to make it your perfect pillow. I myself like a firmer pillow and before the Coop pillow arrived in my life, I had the same pillow since 2016.
A
Guys. It was so absolutely horrible.
B
But I'm so picky with my pillow. I would never replace this pillow until I found a Coop pillow. And that pillow now is in the trash. And I have my Coop pillow. I have it wherever I go. C
He's singing. Got a little jazz tune going on in the background.
A
He got some good sleep.
D
Yeah. You got a little pup in your step this morning, man.
B
Do I?
E
Yeah.
B
River slept through the night.
C
Oh, my God.
A
Through the night. In her own crib all night long.
E
Does she still have the crib crib or is it like the baby.
A
She still has the crib crib.
B
As opposed to what, Like a.
A
Like a big girl.
E
That is a crib. You know what I mean?
C
Where it's like they can get out, but the ones are like, off the ground but still have, like, railings.
A
No, we'll move to that soon at some point. But no, she's still in her crib and she just. Every single night for the past feels like centuries at this point. She wakes up in the middle of the night and we just bring her into our bed a lot easier. She sleeps quite good with us, so. But last night I put her to bed with the magic touch, of course, and with her little Tony, you know. Have you heard of those Tony boxes?
E
What is that?
A
It's like anyone with kids, Drino. The Tony box is like a little music box and it comes with all. Like, you can buy all the little characters separately. So, like, she has Belle, she has Cinderella, she has lion from Lion King and it plays every song from it. But then it also, like, tells the story of the movie.
C
You can. You can get like books.
B
Her imagination.
A
Yeah, but she is like, loves Belle. And so I put her to bed last night and she was holding Belle and I think honestly, that was it that she woke up in the middle of the night and she was like, dad, my God, Belle, wait.
E
I'm good.
A
That's all she needed was.
C
That's really.
B
Well, we have a fantastic episode lined up for you. The iconic, the legendary Jesse Metcalf joins us later. This episode coming up shortly. Very excited to have.
A
Also known as John Tucker.
C
Yeah.
D
The iconic and Desperate Housewives fans.
B
I've always wanted to be a pool boy.
D
Me too.
E
You can still do that.
B
I could.
E
You have a pool and a pool.
B
I feel like it would be. It would hit different at this stage in my life. It'd be like if I were like a 20 something, I pool boy. I'm like, that's true. Happen. So much adventure now. I'd be like, what went wrong? What went Wrong.
D
I do spiritually feel like there is a pool boy inside me.
A
Nick tells me it's not too late for me to be a mailman. A what? A mailman. That was my childhood.
D
You would look so cute in those shorts. You guys. Do I tell Jesse Metcalf I wrote a song called Desperate Housewives?
B
Did you?
E
Yeah. Pretty good actually, too.
D
It's kind of a banger.
F
Low key.
B
Can you play it right now?
E
It has nothing to do with the show, though.
D
Oh, no. It's about me telling a girl she was giving Desperate Housewives in the song. I was like, he was the pool boy in Desperate Housewives. That was like hooking up with even Longoria. Well, yeah, but in the song, he was the pool boy in my brain. It was a. It was a loose narrative structure, you guys.
B
Okay, well, we also have the incomparable Carolyn with us from last seasons of Traitor. She was a traitor herself. And given the recent shenanigans going down in the castle, we thought it would be. Make a lot of sense to get Carolyn's perspective on all things going on in Trader's Land. Also, we got some. We got some shows to cover.
C
Below deck crossovers.
B
Oh, we got the below deck crossover.
F
Finally, the ladies of Salt Lake City.
B
We get to see the other side of the story. They kept it pretty light.
A
Yeah.
C
That's why I'm ready for. I'm ready for the next episode. Yeah.
B
Do you think we're really going to get anything?
E
We're going to get a lot.
D
I mean, I think it's going to be some great below deck.
B
I think no fun to watch, you know, the below deck cast, but I don't feel like we're really going to get extra tidbits. Yeah. Given that this was the trip that led to the airplane ride, I just feel like there's just a lot of sensitivity around.
D
Actually, we did get a little tidbit because immediately when Bronwyn saw the unicorn in the room, she goes, I'm going to throw that overboard.
C
And I was going to say, we also got Heather Gay producing, being like, yeah, Brittany, flirt with every guy on the ship. Where I'm like, we wouldn't have seen that on Salt Lake City.
A
And then we also heard her being like on Salt Lake City kind of judging Britney for flirting with every guy.
C
That's what I said. The thing that's kind of interesting about this is that, like the below deck cast, it's like the whole show shows their guest in the light that they present themselves in, not the light that Like a housewives wants to be.
E
And it's always critical of the guest, usually.
D
Yeah.
E
So that's what's fascinating, because this is.
D
A show about the worker.
C
Yeah. So that's why I'm like, I feel like we're gonna get some more tidbits. This. This next episode, this was just kind of like the introduction to the crew, who's. Who's on the ship.
D
But then I'm like, stress between the chef and the sous chef. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
C
The next episode will be like, because.
B
There needs to be a marriage.
E
Bless the sous chef.
B
Yeah.
E
But no, why would she take that job? Girl without experience go to culinary school.
A
She said, I just have a passion for cooking. I don't actually know how to cook.
G
And I.
D
Meanwhile, recently single Chef Ben is like, what the.
C
I was just gonna say Chef Ben. In general, most chefs in general, no offense, you do beautiful work, but the.
F
The.
C
The. The patience and the temper, they're short. Yeah, Very short.
A
Well, Nick is also. His patience is very short ranging cooking as well.
E
Imagine Nick, sous chef, just.
C
Chefs in general are like, cooking, like, where it's like, you do beautiful work, but, like, the patience. It's hot in there. You're trying to get things done.
E
Yes.
B
It's a very serious atmosphere.
C
Yeah. 100% that I'm working under. Chef Ben.
A
Speaking of, we have a mouse in our vent. Our hood vent.
B
I don't think we do have a mouse.
C
What do you mean?
B
I think we have a broken vent.
A
I'm convinced that it's a mouse. And Nick is like, it's not. It's just, like, a piece of the vent floating around in there. I'm like, no, I actually heard scratching, like, with its name.
C
So you're like, actually, it's not on, and it just randomly makes noise.
A
Nick goes, that did happen. Yeah. And then Nick goes, no, it's rhythmically every 20 seconds. Listen. And then it wasn't.
D
It was.
A
And then it hit the side of the vent. Like, it was, like, trying to scurry away.
B
Oh, I don't think there's a mouse there.
A
But I won't let Nick take it down because I'm like, it will escape, and then it'll be in our bed. And I was like, I need a pest control person.
C
You said, I'll get to it later.
B
I did ask Nally. I'm like, in the man equation, like, are you comfortable with me waiting to call pest control?
E
Oh, so that you don't know what's.
B
Happening, or am I being expected to.
C
Pull this thing down right now to.
B
Go in there, grab the ladder, and deal with the crisis.
F
Yeah.
A
And I don't want him to do it.
F
Yeah.
A
I feel like there's room for error, and we don't need error with a loose mouse.
E
I think you can smoke them out. I randomly saw a video of that. Like, and they survive, but they leave.
D
I can for sure smoke a mouse out.
A
All right.
B
Speaking of Brittany, sad news.
C
My sad news.
E
It's good news.
B
Her and Jared.
D
Oh, for the week.
A
Are we together?
C
Are we broken up?
A
She posted a reel celebrating.
B
This is not giving or done.
A
Yeah, but the caption. The caption read, goodbye, baby, you are loved. I'm walking away from something and someone I truly love. My heart is broken. I put this video together to show the world our real relationship. For anyone who has wondered why I kept going back to Jared, there was real love there. Jared, goodbye. You'll always have the most special place in my heart. And you were really the love of my life. But if he's the love of your.
B
Life, babe, don't quit.
E
This is the best part.
A
I'm moving on. This time I'm dating myself, Ariana Grande. Jared, goodbye.
C
Today I choose Britney.
D
You got to listen to Eternal Sunshine by Ariana Grande. I think that album's really going to resonate.
C
She's letting herself.
B
I mean, you know, the heart wants what the heart wants. I saw a Meredith Marks post leaving the show, which was quickly found out to be fake news.
C
Right.
B
Then we saw Britney speculation about her not getting a contract for next season, and then she. Did she repost something?
E
Yeah. I mean, honestly, Sarah and I were talking about this where it is kind of common sometimes in the housewife world, where it's like, between seasons, you'll see people speculate if certain people are coming back. And then you'll also see the actual housewife chime in to be, like, teasing it to maybe spark drama online.
C
It's like two truths and a lie. Like, you know what I mean? Or maybe one truth and two lies.
E
Or they're trying to find the truth. Literally think there's a world where Britney doesn't know. And she saw people posting and then she reposted on her story. Someone saying, like, Andy, like, think again, or, like, bring her back. So I think she's trying to, like, campaign that way.
B
I imagine it must be difficult because if they start hearing, oh, contracts are out, you know?
E
Exactly.
B
I think it was Ms. Angie K. In the nicest possible way. She was just like, yo, I just like, you know, I talked to him when we're filming.
C
Yeah.
E
Yeah, well.
C
And even Crystal said that she got a little tidbit about the Orange County Housewives cast, and all of them were texting her, being like, what do you know?
B
Yeah, but that's the thing is they don't really, really talk. And so when you hear speculation online, it would not be surprising that, like, Britney might see that and go, oh, shit, I'm out.
C
Am I on the choppy buck?
E
Do you remember, like, even when you are removed from the cast or you don't get a pickup, like, I remember Teddi Mellencamp. She found out through the press. So I think a lot of the times the cast also doesn't, like, they're not part of the conversation. But everybody else does know. It sounds like Britney. Like, she might be breaking up with Jared to have a storyline again.
A
Well, when we had Angie K on, she was very much like, I hope the next time we see Britney on our screen, she is single. It's more about her, less about the Jared of it all. She was like. Because that version is very fun.
B
We have Bron single dating out there, giving us at least what I've always wanted. And maybe the producers are sitting the ladies down and saying, all right, this is what we're going to do next season. We're gonna date. You know, the fans want it. They need it. Brittany, are you down?
C
Goodbye, my baby Jared.
B
Goodbye, Brittany. Dating would be iconic.
E
It would be iconic with Brittany. She'd be singing, like, at the dinner table.
D
Oh, my God. Making Britney and Bronwyn go on, like, a double date.
E
Well, Bronwyn's taken.
B
She is.
D
She's casually dating.
C
I would watch her go on.
B
She's casually taken.
D
Casually taken, exactly.
A
The two of them with Britney and whoever she finds. Chef's kiss.
C
And in addition to other rumors, Amanda Francis as well.
E
Oh, yeah, this stuff.
A
Yeah.
E
Briefly talked about it.
D
She personally.
B
She actually spoke out.
D
Yeah.
B
Said, I'm fake news.
D
I'm staying.
E
She said.
A
She said, I have the reunion on my calendar.
E
I was, like, booked and busy.
C
She said, reunion, my. Watch what happens live, final interview. Like, I am booked and busy. I don't know why that was circulating, but not true.
E
It was because of the after show. It's because they did, like, usually, as far as I know, the after show was shot in, like, one sitting. So you have everybody sitting in the chairs with whatever pairing. But they did a pickup for Kyle Richards to talk about her marriage with Mauricio. Okay. And she wasn't present in the Pickup. So, like, the chairs.
B
Why would she have to be present in the pickup?
E
Well, because all the cast was there except for her, so it was probably.
B
Like, doing a motivational video.
E
She's probably busy.
D
She was manifesting money, you guys.
E
Yeah, but people made that into. She was fired or left filming early and wasn't there for the show.
C
To your point, though, that's how quickly these rumors kick up. It's like, oh, you were absent for an interview, talking about someone else's husband. Like, you know what I mean? That would make sense.
B
But it's confused what the fans of Beverly Hills want. Like, on one side of the Internet, all I hear is complaints about how it's boring. They're not giving anything. You know, a lot of the more OG Cast members are just kind of mailing it in. And then on the other side, I just see people just, like, roasting Amanda and, like, pick, you know? And I get it. She's like, has some quirks. Maybe she says things that are a little like.
C
I think she was very much necessary. She's not my favorite by any means, but I'm, like, very much necessary to make this show move because the past season.
B
But why are we. Yeah, it's like we bully them off the show if we don't like them.
A
Because we still have Kyle and Dorit fighting over the same stuff they've been fighting over the last three seasons.
D
I'm so.
C
So.
A
To have Amanda also in the mix does help soften them up a little bit and give us something else to talk about.
C
I was like, sutton had her worst last two seasons, and all of a sudden, Amanda's making her seem likable. But also, it's because Amanda's coming up to the forefront and Sutton's taking a step back. You know what I mean? So I'm just like, it's necessary. You need the shakeup. You need a polarizing character that gets along with some of the cast and doesn't get along with the rest of them to stir up some drama, because I'm sorry, but Beverly Hills is probably the most contained cast out of any of the Housewives.
B
Well, we'll get into Beverly Hills a little bit later as well. Big announcement. It's an exceptionally important going deeper. This week, we are a Vols exclusive announcing your next three farmers for Farmer wants a wife. Super exciting to be a part of that announcement. And that is all here this Wednesday on Going Deeper. If you are not familiar with Farmer wants a wife, you should be, like.
A
The most successful dating show.
B
Yeah.
C
Kendall, Jenner, wants to be on it.
A
Dakota Johnson's one of her favorite.
B
It's. It's some sexy farmers. They're hot, looking for wives and bring them to the farm.
D
The thing about farmer wants a wife is it does, like, awaken a part of me that from a. When I was a child, you know what I mean, in the south where I'm like, that's a man.
C
Hell, yeah.
D
You know what I mean?
B
All here on Wednesday, we are announcing the next three farmers. So get ready to fall in love with the farm all over again. And some cowboys. That's this Wednesday. It's going to be a ton of fun. We also had the Super Bowl. Anyone excited about the winner?
D
Yeah. I hate the Patriots, so I was happy.
E
Who did win?
D
The Seahawks. The Seahawks. The correct team.
B
The Seabirds of Seattle.
D
Yeah.
B
Yeah.
D
I don't care about any of them. I just hate the Patriots, so that was good.
E
Yeah. Gigi. Gigi, good game.
C
Gigi Hadid did a really great job last night on the field.
A
No, it was definitely the bad bunny Super Bowl.
E
It was good.
A
I feel like these were two teams that really no one cares about. Right.
D
Besides myself.
C
I got my fiance to go to the movies during, if that's any.
A
Like, Nick also took river to the park during the game. He went to the grocery store. She wasn't like, locked.
B
I wasn't like.
D
I was on TikTok during the game and locked in during the commercials. But the commercials, besides the Emma Stone, Yorgos Lanthimos one kind of suck.
A
The Duncan one with.
D
Why were they de aged?
A
No, the Duncan one with Jennifer Aniston, Ben Affleck, Tom Brady.
D
That sent a chill up my spine.
A
What?
B
Little cringe for you.
D
It was just why are they de aged? It stressed me out.
A
Oh, I loved it.
D
Goodwill Duncan is an incredible pun. I will say that.
A
Like Goodwill hunting. It was a Duncan commercial.
B
It's like if it good. If Good Will hunting was a 90s Rom com.
A
Yeah. And it had Ben Affleck and like, Jennifer Aniston was his girlfriend.
B
George from Seinfeld.
A
George from Seinfeld.
C
It was your favorite.
D
My favorite, yeah.
A
Anyways, bad bunny, of course, took over, performed was actually, I think so good but amazing. And the creativity in it, I think like the storytelling, it was just. And I don't even. I'm not fluent in Spanish by any means, but I was moved. I was moved and my hips were moving.
E
Yeah. The pateo.
C
I was smiling the entire time. Like, it was just like it was so touching. As a Puerto Rican. Very Proud play.
A
Thank you.
B
There was a couple that got married.
A
Yeah, there was a couple that got married. And what I heard, allegedly, is that those were his friends, that he was invited to their wedding, couldn't make it.
E
And was like, yeah, so you brought the wedding.
A
Why don't you get married during the Super Bowl?
D
Wait, that was their actual wedding?
C
Yeah.
B
Still cool. But not for me.
A
Wow. I mean, you could always do that. Like, you can always have your wedding again, but, like, you wouldn't do that. That's, like, iconic.
B
Well, of course. I mean, I mean, if my. If my best friend was a rock star on that weekend, you know when they're like, hey, it's your day. It's your day. It's all about you.
A
Not a lot of people are talking about that moment, though.
B
Yeah, for sure. No, yeah.
D
Honestly, that's kind of the only way I would want to get married. Like, it's like, no one's paying that much attention to me, but it's like a really cute. Everyone's like, oh, my God, Love that.
B
Is that. And now let's move on. His friends that he.
A
That's what I have seen. To be proven. But, you know, I guess I am also scared.
C
I saw that, too. I saw that. I didn't know that it was his friends, but I saw that it was a real couple that got married. And that was a real scene.
D
When they kissed, I was like, they love each other.
C
Yeah.
A
You're like, such good acting.
E
It was real.
A
There was. Yes. Then there was. It opened up at, like, this casita where we had Alex Earle, Cardi B. Pedro Pascal, Carol G. Jessica Alba. Jessica Alba. Thank you, Ricky Martin. Did you see Jon Hamm also dancing to Bad Bunny?
F
So cute.
A
So cute. Someone called him Juan Jamon.
C
Juan Hemon.
A
Juan Hemon.
D
Juan Hemon.
F
Jon Hamm.
A
Because it is Jon Hamm.
C
They did that with Lady Gaga, too. I can't remember what the full name was, but it was like, my Lady Guadalajara Gagalina.
A
Also Ricky Mart. I'm sorry, how old is he? 56.
C
I had a crush on him in the 90s. I still have a crush on him today.
A
So hot.
C
So hot.
B
Well, it's all about hydrating and taking care of your skin. We also have the Winter Olympics going on. Yeah, I've been into.
D
All I've seen thus far are the.
E
Boys from Heated Rivalry doing the torch.
C
I thought you were just talking about ice hockey.
F
Oh, no.
D
But I'm very excited for that.
B
This is my first Olympics being a girl dad. And so now I'm very tuned in to many of the ladies events.
A
Like, what can he put river in?
B
I'm very in tune to their inspirational stories. We have Lindsey Vaughn, who unfortunately did have an accident, but I've been really just mesmerized by this story. Lindsey Vonn, who is already Olympic gold champion, and at 41 years old, she is competing in this Olympics, going for gold again. And I just think there's so many aspects of the story I find just really incredible. One, it's just like, it's easy, especially if you reach the top of the mountain, to, like, quit while you're ahead or, you know, you know, you know, if you win a Super bowl, it's just like, quit while you're on top and things like that. It's a lot harder and a lot more challenging to, like, try to compete where you feel like maybe you're past your prime. And then she tore her ACL right before the Olympics. Still competed. I just, like, there's just so much about her story that as a, as a girl, dad, I want my daughter. You know, these are gonna be her heroes. So I'm watching the Winter Olympics and I'm like, think, who are the women that my daughter will look up to and be inspired by? And, yeah, I'm way more tuned in to the women events this Olympics.
D
Well, that makes me really excited because that means that when the Summer Olympics come around and the women start playing basketball, you might be a little bit more locked in.
C
Of course. There it is. There we go.
E
You do have a point, though, Nick, because I feel like everybody that's at the Olympics is someone that's accomplished within themselves. Like, regardless of what award or medal you're winning, you're not Olympian, but you're an Olympian. And they've all, like, done amazing things. And when they're younger, they're doing it at a young age. Or where if they're older, they're doing.
B
At an older age. Well, yeah, I mean, River's only two now, so she can't really be aware of Lindsey Vaughn's story. But, like, if she were, you know, like an eight or nine year old girl, there are so many, like, aspects of Lindsay's Vaughn story other than just winning gold.
E
Yeah.
B
Obviously there's a lesson in there of what she's had to do to win. But more importantly, like, like, the resiliency the competitor in her, the getting back up after you literally crash or, you know, figuratively, like, you know, it doesn't go well for you. It's such a cool aspect of, of like just some great lessons and great role models you find in the each Olympics.
C
It's funny that you say that because, like, as we know, I'm not the biggest sports person, let alone am I watching the Olympics. But growing up. Tara Lipinski, for one high graders. Kristen Yamaguchi, Dominique Dawes, Dominique Macchiano. I'm like, I still remember these people, athletes names because they were so prevalent in the Olympics. They were close. Not, like, close to my age, but close enough. And it was just like watching these, like, young women. I was like, maybe I'll be a figure skater. Maybe I'll be a gymnast.
E
So I'm like, it's like Simone Biles for my generation.
D
Yeah.
E
Like, you all know Simone, just like.
D
The women's national soccer team when I was growing up. Like Alex Morgan, Megan Rapinoe, like, all of those fighting for equal pay and stuff. Like, that was so impactful on me and just how I view the world of just. And they will always mean so much to me. Like that entire, like, roster of soccer players. Just because I was like, like, that was impressionable.
C
Yeah.
D
Yeah. That was it for me.
B
Yeah. I found myself watching it, just being like, very wondering who my. Who my daughter's role models are going to be growing up.
D
They're all good options if they're Olympians.
E
I do think it's. It's also cool to see and I'm one of these people, but us not realizing how big Tara and Johnny were until, like, right now, because they're doing a lot of commentary. Yeah, right. That's what I'm saying. But there's a lot of people online that are like, I did not out of love realize that they are major people.
C
Oh, yeah. Tara Lipinski was like somebody I was so excited to watch skate every single time.
E
And they're good. I went back and watched.
B
She was an Olympian. Yeah, absolutely. And who won the gold downhill?
D
Breezy Johnson.
B
Shout out to Breezy Johnson. Who won the gold for women's downhill skiing in American. They haven't won gold, I think, since Lindsey Vaughan. Is that accurate? Could be wrong. I don't know. Also, that reminded me now that Nellie and I are deep into baby names. Oh, Breezy Johnson. What a win for the parents. Yeah, truly, like, you know, like, you know, what should we name our kids? Like, maybe Breezy Johnson. And then like, one of the parents were like, I don't know. They would have to be like an Olympic gold medalist for that to really pay off.
A
You know, it's like a lot of, like, Baseball player names have like, our really, like, cool. Interesting. What's Mookie Bets?
B
Mookie Bets.
D
Mookie Bets.
C
Like, great.
B
What an amazing baseball name.
A
Yeah, Nick and I are very much in that, like, God, they just gotta be. They gotta be.
B
Yeah, that works if they are an Olympic gold champion.
C
Is that the kind of names we're coming up with?
A
No, but.
B
Well, you throw stuff out. You're just like, but what if they're really cool?
C
Victory.
E
You know, I support the creative names.
A
I said to Nick the other day, do we feel like vintage is like a cool thing?
E
Nick was like, vintage by all.
D
Vintage by all.
E
Vintage.
F
For boy or girl, why don't we.
C
Just name her baggy fit y2k, you know, mom jeans.
E
I like it.
B
Does it really mean that? I've incorporated a thumbs down.
A
He does. I text him a lot. Okay. I'm like, no, no. Yeah. I text him a lot of names and it is. It is crazy considering he does get last name and I am doing all, all of the work over here and I get thumbs down.
C
The.
E
Would you rather want an explanation, though? Sometimes that can crush you more.
A
I'd rather him just be like, whatever you want, babe.
E
She'.
C
You know, did we hear that.
B
Breezy I, Breezy Johnson could go either way.
D
Breezy Vile.
B

A
See?
B
Welcome to the show, man.
G
Thank you.
E
It's great.
A
I'm so excited to have you.
G
Thank you for having me.
B
So you watched the Super Bowl?
G
I did. Kind of out of the corner of my eye.
A
Yeah.
G
As I've gotten older, I don't really care about sports as much. I watched a lot of sports growing up. It was like every morning, every cereal in Sports center before school, you know, I just. I grew up in Connecticut. That's where the headquarters of Sports center is. So it's like.
B
It is.
G
It's a really sports heavy area. Grew up playing a lot of sports.
B
What'd you play?
G
Watching a lot of sports. I played baseball, I played basketball. I played tennis. I ran cross country. You know, I didn't play football because my high school didn't have a football team. We had a soccer team.
E
Team, though.
B
My high school had a football team. They were just bad.
G
Yeah.
B
Yeah.
A
Was there, like, not enough kids to have a football team?
G
Yeah, I went. I went to, like, this upper prep school that. It's just. We played soccer.
C
We don't like lacrosse. There it is.
B
And when. And then winning your life where you're like, you know what? I have an artistic side to me. I want to get into the theater. I want to get into acting or. How did that all happen?
G
Super, super early. I mean, I played a lot of sports, but I was by no means the star athlete. You know, I was just decent. But I always. I was in the band. I was. Was in the chorus. I. I like to paint and draw. I was always a. An artsy, kind of indie kid.
A
And then you looked in the mirror.
G
And I paid the price for it, though.
A
You looked in the mirror and you're like, I'm beautiful, so maybe I should model.
C
I feel like I should do something else.
B
How did you know? So what do I do with all this humility and good.
F
What are my Options.
B
Become an actor.
F
There you go.
G
Then I can pretend like I'm home.
B
When did it. How old were you when you got, like, into acting?
G
Not till I was 20.
B
Okay.
G
Actually, yeah, the. The drama teacher at my high school was always encouraging me to audition for the school plays, but I never did. I never quite had the confidence to go there. Yeah, that's pretty revealing, you know, acting in front of your high school peers. Yeah, I wasn't that confident, you know, of a kid growing up.
B
It's true. That really does take a lot of guts. You know, it's one thing to walk into an audition room with people you don't know or, you know, have some cameras there. But the kids who were maybe not the nicest to you during lunch were like, you want me to perform in front of you? What are you doing?
G
They had plenty of reasons already. I've always wanted to do theater, honestly. And I even attempted to book some stuff on the West End and in the UK and got really close on a couple things, but they didn't end up panning out. But I can imagine I would be insanely nervous on opening night. I mean, that is just like, you gotta be really, really brave to lead a theater production and the amount of productions you have to do, and, I mean, it's just like.
A
Like, do you feel like Broadway's in your future?
G
I mean, I. I maybe start off Broadway, you know, but, yeah, like I.
B
Said, you can sing a little bit, can't you?
G
I can sing a little bit. It's definitely something I'd love to do.
D
Do.
G
But it's. It's quite the undertaking, isn't it?
B
You do have your new skincare line.
G
I do.
B
How did you get into that?
G
You know, I always wanted to try my hand at being an entrepreneur. I thought this was a natural extension, sort of my brand giving that. There's been such an emphasis on, you know, my looks over the years. I've constantly always been asked on the red carpet what my skincare routine is and how I look. Look, I think younger than I actually am. I know. It's like, I don't want to, like, sit here and give myself a compliment.
A
No, I definitely was shocked to find out you were 57.
B
I like that.
G
I'm just gonna roll. I'm just gonna go with that. That's a little more impressive. Yeah.
B
No, no, no.
G
You're like, no, Jesse, you look exactly your age.
C
Yeah.
A
You don't look a day under.
G
You don't look a day under 47. So, you know, and Also, I had acne as a teenager, you know, like many of us do. It's not like I went through something that like nobody else went through or anything, but because of that, I sort of became educated at an early age about skin care and various different topicals used to, to treat acne and, you know, different anti aging topicals and hydrating topicals. And I used a lot of that knowledge and also the knowledge that I gained over the last, last 27 years in the business, you know, being gifted basically every product under the sun, you know, and put all that knowledge into this line, as well as some really cutting ed, cutting edge peptide complexes. One of which is called argireline, which is often referred to as natural Botox. Hello.
E
Hello.
G
And another one, say less matrixyl 3000, which is a cell signaling peptide that signals the fibroblast cells in your skin to produce more collagen, which is directly related to, you know, the elasticity of your skin reduces the appearance of fine lines.
A
So before you created neutral skin, were you, you had your own skin care that, like, routine that you were doing, but was it like, not working?
B
You know what?
G
I was a little all over the place. I was a little all over the place with my skincare routine and I imagine a lot of other people are as well because there's just so many options. And part of the ethos behind this brand was I just wanted to cut through the noise of an increasingly cluttered skincare market. There's all these different marketing drivers around skin care, and you don't really know what's good, what's not good, what works, what doesn't work. All you know is, oh, that one's got a pretty package.
B
You do have really good, pretty packaging, though.
A
You do. Yeah, But I also feel like majority.
G
Well, I kept it simple. It's also, I also called it neutral because it's gender neutral.
A
I was about to say.
G
So it's a product line that, you know, both girlfriends and boyfriends, you know, wives and husbands can share so you don't have to have 50 million products on your counter. Tea show. You guys can share.
B
She's always like, why are you.
G
What are you crazy?
A
It's because he won't put like the top on. And then like, there's like dries, like, you know, it's like toothpaste if you.
G
Don'T put tops on things.
B
Yeah, you don't close cabinet doors either, do you?
G
Everyone has a role.
A
But no, I was gonna say it is, I think especially though, for men, because there are so many products that are, are marketed to women that they're kind of like, I don't know.
G
Well, that's why I wanted a more gender neutral look, you know, and I also wanted something that was. Transparency is a big part of the brand.
F
Yeah.
G
You know, our, our ingredients, the, the products are super clean. There's no fillers, no silicones, no parabens, no fragrances. They're. The product line is great for all skin types.
A
So you're doing this morning and night?
G
I do, yeah.
A
Does if. Can you buy like the box where it's everything.
G
You can buy the total package or you can buy it individually and it's also a subscription box model and you can renew Your subscription every 30 days, every 45 days, or every 90 days.
C
Signing my fiance up immediately is always asking me, like, what skincare, what face wash do I use? And I'm just like, I don't know, I use this. But then I'm like, you're not gonna go back and get this yourself? So that actually is very helpful.
G
Well, both men and women love these products, but specifically because of how well they absorb into the skin and the consistency. They're more of a gel and less of like a heavy, a heavy cream, specifically the serum and the moisturizer, etc. And men like that because it keeps your skin really matte and your skin doesn't get too oily from the products. And women like it because it's great. Pre makeup routine. Yeah. It's not sticky.
A
Wow. There's a lot of thought behind this.
G
There's a little bit of thought behind this.
B
How do you think he looks?
G
I know what I'm doing.
A
No, I know.
B
Yeah.
A
It's blinding.
E
I know.
A
Truly.
B
Has it been tough? Well, you know, growing up, up, every once in a while I got a compliment for my looks. Not quite like you, but then as I got older, I honestly, as, as I started aging.
G
No, I can imagine. You were a really good, good looking kid.
B
Was.
G
Yeah. Great looking guy.
E
You know what I mean?
B
But, I mean, but as I got older. Yeah, you get older. You know, maybe a hair gets a little like it comes out. You're just like, am I losing my hair? Am I? You know, you notice a wrinkle and then it's like, I'm. That's all I, I remember one time.
G
This is all I got.
B
I'm sure someone like yourself, ever since you were 20, you came on the scene, I mean, we were joking before you, you came in the studio that I've always wanted to be a Pool boy in my, in my early 20s like you. You like lived this life as a young man that I think a lot of even like men like myself aspired and women like, were attracted to you. Is there pressure as you, you know, get older to like fuck man? Like, you know, I still, I still got to show up and, and take care of myself.
G
I don't even know where I began. It was honestly a very wild journey, you know, with a lot of different ups and downs from my adolescence to being a 47 year old man and having a pretty meteoric rise in the industry. In the middle of that, you know, I dealt with, I dealt with a lot, you know, especially as an adolescent and a teenager. I had various different father figures in my life. I was estranged from my biological father for like 15 years. So like my sense of self, my identity, my confidence was on shaky ground from the very beginning. And then when I got the first, my first opportunity to start modeling, which ultimately led to an open casting call for a daytime television show that I booked and then now, you know, a 27 year career in the business, that was really the first moment where I started to find myself, you know, find my identity, find my confidence. It was a great thing for me. But maybe part of that, that wasn't so great was that my entire sense of self was really wrapped up in the success or failure of my career, you know, And I think a lot of actors and people in this business, people in this town fall prey to those, to those circumstances and it can really kind of destroy you because it's a, it's a very feast or famine industry. I mean, one, and it's a very fickle industry. One minute you're hot, one minute you're not. And you got to be able to weather those, those lulls in your career and still kind of like know who you are.
B
Yeah.
G
You know, so that, I mean that's, that's probably the most current thing, you know, that I've been dealing with. It's just that like, you know, having reached the heights that I've reached and then sort of not, not necessarily going back to square one, but I mean, I have to audition for pretty much everything I go out for now. You know, I still get the occasional offer, but I mean, it's not like I'm getting offered everything under the sun and it's not like the phone's ringing off the hook, you know, I mean, I, I really feel like, I honestly feel like I've underachieved, you know, in, in this business and And I, and I certainly hope my next chapter is around the corner, you know, because that's, that's really what I've been, I've been working towards.
A
I mean, I believe you are a household name. I mean, so what do you. Is there something that you once valued that you don't anymore?
G
I don't value fame as much. I value my peace and my deepening and developing my personal relationships with the people that I really care about a lot more than popularity, fame, and being like, yeah, yeah, I know you gotta make that transition.
B
And it's a weird transition to figure out in your 20s. Like, you know, I probably wasn't until in my early 30s or late 20s where I was just like, I am comfortable with who I am. You know, I got some, I got some strengths, I got some weaknesses, and you try to work on those. But yeah, like, I'm grateful that any type of, you know, know, introduction into the public space. I was a little bit older and I imagine it must be very difficult for someone like yourself early in your 20s. That's such a pivotal chapter in one's life. And then to be thrusted into that fame and attention, which is exciting and great and you feel it, but you're right. When it goes away for periods of time, it's a very challenging chapter.
G
Once you get that first big break, you cannot take it for granted. You really have to nurture it, it and maintain that momentum. You don't want to do anything that adheres your forward progress or that slows that momentum because that's going to be, you know, a negative for your career. And I mean, I, I didn't always handle myself well. Yeah. You know, I mean, I, I think I, I could have been a lot more, a lot more humble probably, you know, in my, my mid-20s, into my early 30s, a little bit. And I mean, much like any industry, it's a lot about relationships. And you really want to leave every working relationship, every professional relationship, every encounter with anyone within the business, leave that person with a good impression, leave that person feeling good that they had a good interaction with you, and they're going to say something positive about you to the next person. And I think, think that's almost more important to building a career than actual talent.
B
Yeah. Honestly, there's a lot of truth to it because you're right, this town is fickle. People leave jobs, get new jobs. You're just like, I don't. With that person. Fifteen years later.
G
And people hold a grudge.
B
Yeah, they do hold a garage. And it's It's a tough. And like you said, I mean, especially in the actor's career, like, you, you know, some actors will choose to, like, take a break or like you said, like, it just. Maybe they're working their asses off and they'll get the credits, but maybe they didn't pop in a way that they've popped before. Then all. All the fans will be like, what happened? Or something like that. You're like, I'm living my best life. But it's. It's hard to not, like, read stuff.
G
Yeah.
B
And have it, like, get into your head. Was there.
G
That's probably another thing, too, that totally changed for me is I used to read everything that was written about me on the Internet. I was just, like, up in there.
A
Yeah.
E
Oh, my God, this person said this.
G
And I was just, like, irate and angry and, like, hurt and emotional, and now I don't even look at that stuff.
A
It's such, like, a. A freeing feeling to just not to, like. We were. We cover Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on the show. So we were watching the most recent episode, and Rachel Zo was talking about how her divorce was all over the news and the media, and I was like, I don't think I saw one headline about that. You know, like. And it just makes you realize that obviously, like, everything is fed to you because it's you.
E
Yeah.
B
When it's about you, it feels heavy.
G
It's totally. Everyone is talking about it. You're like, no one's talking about it. No one cares.
A
You go to the grocery store and you're like, are people staring?
G
You've been stressing yourself out and nobody.
B
Cares, like, what, What? You're like, sorry, I just wanted to get that apple that was right in front of you.
C
Yeah.
A
You're just in the way.
B
Speaking of one of your more iconic roles, John Tucker must die. You know, even if you never watched that movie, it was such a. Like a pivotal movie in pop culture. Have you ever had an experience where people, you know, we cover a lot of reality tv. I've been on reality tv. Even though, like, I don't feel like the person that you got to see of me fully encapsulated me as a person. It was still a little bit of me. But you're playing a character that's not you. I'm not John Tucker. But I imagine you had some interesting fan experiences where people blurred the lines between Jesse Metcalf and John Tucker and almost felt like they were taking it out on Jesse Metcalf. When they should have been taking it out on John.
G
Maybe they should have been taking it.
A
Out on Jason, maybe.
D
I didn't.
G
I didn't exactly shy away from that Persona, kind of play it into it. Method.
A
It was method.
C
It was method acting.
A
Yes.
E
My bad.
B
But it sounds like you've had some really pivotal life lessons throughout this experience.
G
Oh, without a doubt. I mean, how did you first broach that? You first broached that by. Well, I think the only drawback, maybe to some of my more iconic roles is that it's pigeonholed me a little bit.
B
Sure.
G
You know, and made people think that that's all that I am or that's all that I'm capable of as an actor.
B
Yeah.
G
So that's probably the only drawback. I mean, I never thought that John Tucker Must Die would. Would achieve this kind of iconic sort of Y2K teen comedy classic status because it got absolutely shredded, you know, when it. When it premiered by the critics. I mean, I don't know what the rotten. The Rotten Tomatoes score is. Very low.
F
Is it really?
G
Very low. Yeah. So, you know, the fact that it's sort of stood the test of time a little bit and been passed down through the generations from, like older siblings to younger siblings, and. And that people are still talking about John Tucker must die, like 20 plus years. Then again, this could all be in my own head. Maybe.
B
They're not talking about. It's still very relevant.
A
It's still very relevant.
C
Mary just started or Mary finished Desperate Housewives for the first time in this past year.
G
Yeah, I hear that streaming somewhere now. I'm like, who lives?
D
Amazon prime, baby.
G
Amazon Prime, Okay.
E
Yes.
D
Amazing show.
G
People have been discovering Desperate Housewives for the first time.
F
Your other Johnston.
G
Cool. My other John. I played a lot of Johns. Well, it's a lot of basic John. This character, John Doe, that character, an.
B
Amazing iconic John would be really fun for you to play that you think would maybe break the perception of the mold that you in. You've. You know, we've heard like, you know, an actor that comes to mind, Matthew McConaughey.
G
Yeah.
B
Famously in all these rom coms. So, you know, other actors would, like, even tease at his expense. He had, like, Matt Damon would do these, like, like, impressions of him of, like a rom com actor. And then you saw these interviews of Matthew being like, I don't want to do this anymore, and really, like, leaned into these other characters and broke the mold. What would be like a type of character you would want to play?
G
I mean, that's a difficult question to answer because it's kind of broad. I mean, anything that would help me break that mold would be more than welcomed. The types of movies I like, you know, speaking of like, like a Matt Damon or something, like, I don't know, Goodwill hunting had a huge impact on me when I was at NYU Film school growing up. I really like dramas. I like dramas. I like characters that have really rich emotional arcs. Dead Poets Society is like another movie that just really affected me growing up. Sort of those. Those types of stories. But I have a million and one, you know, script ideas in my head that, that I think would be incredible that, you know, people are always saying, produce your own vehicle, you know, take take kind of control of your career. It's a lot easier said than done, you know, and I have produced quite a few movies, but, you know, maybe, maybe I'll take one of these ideas and run with it. I mean, we'll see. I do feel like, I don't know, I just have a sort of a sixth sense that. That that next chapter is kind of around the corner for my career. You know, I really do. I think just a lot of the self work I've done and personal growth and I, I don't. I don't know, I'm just. I'm just ready. I'm just ready to sort of take on more complicated, mature roles.
A
Is there a historical biopic that you would ever be interested in playing?
G
I, you know, not. Nothing off the top of my head right now. I mean, back in the day, in my younger years, I. I thought it would be cool to play Elvis, Elvis Presley. And I was actually up for. They did a TV series, you know, like a. Like a limited series. And Jonathan Rhys Meyers actually ended up playing. Do you remember that actor, Jonathan Rhys Myers? He played Elvis, which was interesting casting, you know, because he's English, but he's an incredible actor. So that was always kind of an iconic personality that I thought I had the capability of playing because I think I look somewhat similar to Elvis. But off the top of my head, no one right now. I do love biopics.
B
Yeah.
G
Yeah. Specifically music biopics. I'm obsessed with those movies.
B
I'm sure you've been asked this, but we're in an era of remakes and reboots and things like that and bringing back some of the more iconic shows. So obviously then the John Tucker Must Die, the Desperate Housewives get brought up and something like that. Would that be. You're in this kind of very transitional period where you're ready for that next chapter in your career, knowing that you've been pigeonholed by things, you know, like, I. Again, not to compare, but, like, being the Bachelor, it's like everyone who goes on that show wants to, like, break away, find their own thing, and it's just like, yeah, but I saw you on the Bachelor, like, no, thank. Thank you, I'm doing other stuff. Would it be difficult for you to, like, accept that role if the rest of the cast got together and would it be just a lot of fun? Could you embrace it, or would that be a challenge where you'd want to? Like, maybe that's not right for me.
G
No, I definitely embrace it. Okay. And there is a script for John Tucker Must Die Too, that's at 20th Century Fox, and our castmate Arielle Kebbell, who's on a new Taylor Sheridan show right now, Y. Marshalls. She was sort of spearheading the development, and the script's solid, but I don't. And everyone's. Most of the cast has expressed interest in being a part of it. I mean, I certainly wouldn't be the person that's like, no, I'm not joking.
A
Find a new John Tucker.
G
I'm allowed to do that. Yeah, I would definitely be happy to be a part of it. I think it would be super fun and funny, and I don't think it would necessarily deter what I'm talking about.
B
Give the people what they want, achieve.
A
You know, I mean, I see. It's like John Tucker's finally getting married. Everyone from college is on this, like, this resort wedding or something, and then it's like, oh, no. John Tucker is doing what John Tucker has always done.
G
It's a little more depressing than that. Oh, no. But I'm gonna suggest that there's one right there.
D
John Tucker's a little bit more of a loser.
B
Love, Love.
A
What does it take for something? I mean, like, I'm sure there's so many.
G
Honestly, I have no idea. Yeah, I have no idea. I'm not really in control of this. Maybe I could go and, like, write my own script and pitch it to 20th Century Fox, you know, I'm not really in control of this particular iteration, so we'll see what. We'll see what happens. I'm just sort of along for the ride.
B
I'll tell you what, Taylor Sheridan, probably project. That would be kind of cool.
G
Taylor Sharon, product. Project would be amazing. I mean, he's like. He's incredible. I mean, his whole story of the fact that he was an acting coach. And just like how quickly he sort of took over this town and is such a prolific television creator. And I mean, it's, it's, he's, he's amazing.
B
He's like, even his movies, crazy.
G
Powerhouse.
B
Yeah, yeah, but one of the great movie.
G
Sicario.
B
Sicario's great, but that was, it's with Elizabeth Olsen.
C
Wind River.
B
Wind River. Wind river, yeah. Great movie.
G
Great movie.
B
Yeah. I mean, listen, it's inspiring. Inspiring. Hearing you talk about this next chapter chapter of your life. The little bit I've learned being in this town is that like, it's, it's really about outlasting people, you know, like you said, I think it's like, it's a very fickle town. A lot of people chase their dreams. There's highs and lows, you know, a lot of people can't handle that, like extreme high and extreme low. A lot of people aren't easy to work with and things like that. A lot of people go through it, don't learn the lessons and kind of humble themselves. And I really believe that, like, yeah, it's just, it's outlasting people. It's. And, and your chapter 100 is definitely gonna, like, I think, manifest the way you want it to.
E
Hell yeah.
B
I really didn't think that because, like, it is true. There's a lot of things about, you know, looking at your resume, your career, and at some point they're going to be like, that's right, Jesse Metcalf, right here.
F
It is true.
A
It is. Who can outlast and being resilient.
B
We have a little game for you before we let you go. It's really dumb and fun and easy. Not dumb, but light and fun.
C
There you go.
G
Let's keep it light.
A
It's not dumb. Silly, silly. Well done.
B
In the fun sense, silly. But if you lose, you. You're not allowed to go, apparently.
A
Yeah.
C
You'll be covering Real Housewives of Beverly Hills with us.
A
So we're going to read a line from an iconic movie or TV show and you have to guess which character said the line. Bonus points if you name the project. If you get five points, you're free to leave the studio. Otherwise, you are trapped here forever, part of this household.
G
Wow.
A
Okay, round one. Why would I date one girl when I can date three?
G
Is that John Tucker from John Tucker.
B
Must die off of softball.
A
Life's like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're going to get.
G
Forest Gump. Yes, sir, Forrest Gump.
C
Let these self titled.
A
You knew this was complicated from the start.
G
You knew this was complicated from the start.
F
That was a voice.
G
Sandra Bullock, Miss Congeniality.
E
It's you.
A
It's John Rowland from Desperate Housewives.
C
Miss Congeniality. I love. That's where your mind went.
B
Sandra Bullock.
G
I was trying to think like a host of this.
C
But you said it like a movie villain and then you're like Sandra Bullock.
B
Actually can you say in a world. What? In a world. In the world.
C
See, he does.
A
He's got it.
B
This my alpha.
A
Here's looking at you, babe.
G
Humphrey Bogart. Casablanca.
C
Here's looking at you, kid.
D
No, here's looking at you babe.
B
Is that's a trick question.
D
It's Fred Willard incorrectly quoting Humphrey Bogart.
C
And waiting for governance.
G
Waiting for governance.
F
Really?
D
Yeah.
E
Wow.
G
You obviously came up with that one.
C
Yeah, that was my. That was. That was mine in the.
E
In the.
G
That was tricky.
A
Do you ever think there's. That maybe there's more to life than being really, really, really ridiculously good looking?
G
Oh that. Oh my gosh.
A
Whoa.
G
Whoa. This one's so easy. This one's so easy. But I'm. But I'm blanking. Ben Stiller.
C
Uh huh.
G
Ben Stiller.
A
It.
C
You're so close.
B
Meet the parents. What is it called?
C
Blue Steel.
B
I can't remember.
G
I can't remember the name of it right now.
D
It's like a place you can take your kids to like pet some animals sometimes. Wow.
G
I can't remember. I can't. I love this movie too.
F
You do?
G
Letter to begin with.
C
Z.
E
Yes.
B
Z. Jopia.
G
I think.
F
Yay.
C

F

C
What a lovely guy.
B
Really charming.
A
Truly has not aged. I was looking at old like like clips of John Tucker must die. Looks the exact same.
C
I was staring this entire time. I'm so scared to see what this interview looks like.
D
It's just me like yeah, yeah that's sometimes I'm when I when I don't speak it's just because I I don't want the people of earth to see me just being.
A
Being like googly eyed.
C
I was a teenager. There's a lot of. There was a lot of feelings tied to what was sitting on the other side of this couch. My goodness.
B
I just thought it was really interesting hearing him talk about his career and just the ups and downs and Just kind of vulnerably talk about he's ready for that kind of next chapter. It's giving grown man and referencing just a little humility.
E
Did you see the new Rhode island trailer?
B
I have very, very in tuned to my friend Ashley. Ian Kinnen's also her second career as a reality TV star.
E
Yeah. Also the cast photos for this. They're holding, like, the pearl love. It's a giant pearl and it looks so sexy.
A
It's giving birth of Venus. It is sexy.
B
Ashley is very excited from what I can tell about this coming out, which I thought was interesting because you never really know. Like, the transition from Bachelor Nation in that world is very different. We've learned just from covering the ABC universe to transitioning to Bravo, certainly different animal. I was curious about Ashley's experience, and she had a lot of positive things to say about her experience in her cast. So I'm excited to see it come to our TV screen and seeing Jared.
A
As, like, housewife husband.
E
That's what.
B
Yeah, that jawline.
A
So good. And I think, like, the Bravo. The people who have never watched them on any bachelor stuff. I think he's, like, hot husband alert. Like, I think he's.
C
He's gonna make it in the. In the bracket.
A
Yeah.
C
When they do, like, the hottest husbands.
B
Of Bravo, I don't think Jared has a toxic bone in his body. So it'll really nice to see, you know?
A
Yeah.
E
I think it's.
C
He's gonna have to be, like, a voice of reason for what she's dealing with. Like, she's gonna be coming home being, like, so and so said. Yeah, like, okay.
E
Oh, yeah. Because I do think the show description did include something about, like, struggles in their marriage and their. Oh, my God.
F
Yeah.
C
They were, like, having, like, a serious conversation about, like, like their restaurant.
E
Yeah.
C
Yeah. So I was like. That's why I was like, it's gonna be interesting, I feel like, for you guys, because it's like you actually know them and then seeing things that you obviously wouldn't have known about that will make it on a TV show. It's just. Just like.
B
I mean, like, you guys okay.
C
Yeah. Like, literally. Hey, just saw the upset. I know this is three months ago, but, like, you guys, good.
A
But also, maybe. I mean, this. If they're having any with the. With. With Audrey's, like, hello, it's now on a Bravo TV show. It's now going to be like a sir. A sir. A Tom. Tom.
C
Southern hospitality. There's, like, too many neighbors to count. But yeah.
E
And we Eat it up.
B
Speaking of super bowl commercials, Andy had his own super bowl commercial commercial with the. With the nerds.
D
I got really, really excited during that.
B
If there's one candy I want to promote, it's probably that one.
D
It's the bet. First off, nerds, gummy cluster is best candy. If you don't think so, you can. It really is, you know, like, fall into a hole.
C
I don't care.
B
They're so good. I over a year, but I was like, also, bravo.
C
Paige Disorpo had a bueno.
F
Yes.
C
Commercial as well.
B
I saw the previews for it, but I didn't see it during. When did it come?
A
During river to the Park.
B
Oh.
F
Oh.
D
The commercial came on, and I was the only person there who knew who Paige desorbo was. And I went, is that Paige? And then everyone else was like, what? And I was like, y' all are not on the level that I am.
C
No, don't worry about it. Don't worry about it.
E
Andy did say about Rhode island because a lot of people were saying, like, we can't tell these people apart. And Andy was like, you said that about Lisa Barlow and Meredith Marks, season one of Salt Lake City.
B
And that is such lazy fan critiquing.
E
It is.
D
Real ones can really identify the difference between two brunettes. Okay.
C
All I have to say is I watched that trailer and I said, okay, I am sat. I am ready. That trailer is so freaking good.
A
When does it come out?
B
April 11.
E
April 2.
B
April 2.
C
You went too far, but you made it.
B
Guess I don't have to wait that long.
F
Yeah.
C
You were willing to wait till April 11th.
B
I would have.
E
I am excited, though. Like, eventually Rhode Island's going to enter in the sphere of Ultimate Girls Trip, and I've been following every bit and piece that's public about Ultimate Girls Trip, but I don't know if you see saw allegedly Tamara and Shannon. Not allegedly. We know they were, but Tamra and Shannon were not invited to the finale of Ultimate Girls Trip because they had some kind of form of, like, altercation or, like, feud at one of the earlier shoots.
A
Isn't that what we want? I don't know. I'm confused.
B
Why are they getting a shot, like, off camera? Airplane?
E
I think it might have been on camera, but Krystal briefly talked about in hublabrag too, but production decided not to, like, move forward with. With that storyline on Ultimate Girls Trip.
D
Yeah, I think they wanted to keep it lighter and probably more celebratory because.
E
That'S what Ultimate Girls Trip is.
D
Yeah.
A
And Shannon and Tamara just couldn't help themselves.
C
All I'm thinking is that scene of them at the dinner in Amsterdam when, like, Tamara's standing on the other side of things, like, screaming at her from the table. And I'm just like, yeah, I could kind of see that kind of ruining the finale.
B
Because those are two women that I've had the pleasure of meeting in person and just truly, truly love my interactions with both those women. They're just like, I don't know. I just, I, I.
E
They might have just feuded too close to the sun for Ultimate Road oil and water. Because also, I know Gertie Abrera wasn't there at, At Miami. She responded.
A
Gertie said, truthfully, I wasn't contacted for the Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. And it was surprising, especially since I've been part of the reboot from the very start. It would have been nice to be included and celebrate the milestone. But what matters most to me right. Right now is staying locked in on me and the here and now.
E
Yeah. And that was one of the discussions too, because Gertie and Julia weren't at the Miami part of Road Trip. People thought, they're not returning to Miami. Then you have Jennifer Aiden, who allegedly. What's crashed. Crashed the party, the Halloween party where she was wearing the same outfit as Vicki, as Taylor Swift. Anyways, I'm excited.
C
Sounds like a lot.
A
It sounds like a lot is gonna go on. Do we have a premiere date for Girls Trip?
E
They're shooting it. Or they might have wrapped it, but they're shooting right now.
B
So, you know, it is starting this week.
E
Love is blind on my birthday. Every year.
B
Every year, we'll be. We'll be getting to that mess. Starting Thursday's episode of Reality.
D
There's so much anticipation.
B
Ohio, the whole state. They weren't even like, forget the city.
D
They were like, we. There's. And if y' all have ever been to Ohio. Yeah.
C
Could we make it the whole state? That was like, probably one of the worst kept secrets. Like, they kind of were like, we're not going to say, disclose where the location is. But then it was, like, rumored to be Ohio. And then like 10 days later, later, they're like, all right, so it's Ohio. And we're like, yeah, we fucking know.
D
It's also like, I feel like it's funny because it does really go to show that probably the Cincinnati, Columbus dating scene is so insular that they had to really just do the whole state.
A
And, like, how big is Ohio?
B
It's pretty big.
D
It's pretty big.
A
So, like, going to be long distance. Someone, Columbus, Cleveland.
B
How far of a drive between some of the bigger cities?
D
Let's maps it up, baby.
C
I have a question, because I don't know if this interferes with me being able to do my job, but I kind of want to play along with Love is Blind and, like, watch it blindfold, like, and see if I can, like, like, you know, because you do the whole reveal when they have their reveal. So then you're like, do they look like anything that you thought they were?
B
I sometimes close my eyes.
C
Like, I want to do that.
B
When they're in the pod, I want.
C
To do that and I want to be surprised. And then I want to come back here and tell you guys, like, well, I thought Jim was gonna have.
A
If you want to do a social experiment, period, you should.
C
I just want a clearance.
E
You know that intro, that 10 minute intro. We're getting rapid fire introductions, everybody. You're gonna be like.
C
I'm gonna be like, all right, who's who again?
A
Like, have they started yet?
D
All right, it is three, 46 minutes between Cincinnati and Cleveland.
B
Okay.
C
Three hours.
D
Yeah, two hours. Two hours between Columbus and Cleveland.
E
Okay.
D
Columbus and Cincinnati. One hour and 38 minutes.
E
It's definitely a storyline. If they're doing a season of A whole State. I don't know.
D
I mean, it takes me 40 minutes to get here and I do it every day so they can date.
B
Well, this season, I think, is going to have some drama in it. What's even more exciting is following, like, is blind. There's this new, exciting show on Netflix dropping right after called Age of Attraction.
D
Age of Attraction. I hope they have good hosts for that show.
B
Their hosts are fine, but it's not about the host.
A
Love.
B
You guys are gonna really, really like this show.
C
I can't wait.
B
You know, you never know.
A
You never know.
B
Well, you know, it's a new show and I. Obviously, we're excited. We're biased. We were there, we saw it, We've seen episodes. I think you guys are really, really gonna like it.
C
Did you enjoy it?
B
Oh, we love the experience. But most, like, again, I think it's really a show just about people. Obviously, the age part is centered in the show. You know, age differences. But it's really just about people, like, getting out of their own head of, like, all the reasons why society or family members said, this person isn't right for you or that person's not right for you. And you get a collection of people frustrated with the dating current dating landscape and we put them together and we let them explore, you know, connections and I think you'll be very entertained by what you find. I'm excited. You guys see, you guys see it.
A
It was very romantic. It was a very beautiful scenery setting.
E
That was gorgeous. Yeah.
A
Truly Whistler. What else was romantic is the first episode of Below Deck.
D
There we go.
A
Very, very romantic. And if you missed it, we do have a rapid recap. Cap. Finally, the crew's perspective on the uni the unicorn fiasco will be revealed because it is time for Below Deck down under, baby. Captain Jason hot as fuck. The crew also hot as fuck, but in a working class Bruce Springsteen way. And the women of Salt Lake City expecting nothing but the best drinks to throw at each other. Mike the Dex do is ready to flirt before the women are even arrive. Alessia, the sous chef cries unrelated but does not bode well. And Joe the deckhand has a family emergency and has has to leave. So we're already short staffed and emotional. When the ladies finally set sail, Daisy, the chief stew is confused about room drama. Brittany says Jared is just not that into her and she wants to hang out with Captain Jason. Bronwyn also says she's going to throw the unicorn overboard. On day one, the crew loses a nipple cover. Stressful daisies going through a lot right now. Also, they slow mo repeat Angie's throw up while cutting between a cheesecake being made under very tense circumstances. Tension between chef and sous chef. Mary Cosby does say that the chef gets down though, so that's high praise. Daisy is so confused by the seizure argument. The broken glass is throwing all the plans off the stern. It's only day one and she's over it. That's what you missed.
C
Oh, in the first episode, I love it. I love Below Deck. And then I obviously love my ladies of Salt Lake City. I just, I. It reminds me when they used to do like Beverly Hills crossovers with Vanderpump rules. And then it would be like, you see this like nice dinner in the drama in Beverly Hills and then you get to see everybody who's waiting on that table and like Stassi's iconic line of just like, ugh, I hate rich people. That's why I only date poor people. People like, cuz it's just like the way that these requests are being made the second they get on the ship, they're like, can I get this cocktail.
A
And my Prada Bronwyn bring like y' all put Dr. Pepper on yacht, right? The Nipple.
C
The nipple cover. And that's being a. On the pager, like, being like, hey, can everybody. If you see a nipple cover, send it my way.
A
Nothing is pissing me off more than the sous chef. Oh, say more. When he's like, can you grab me something to put the chicken fingers on? Chicken fingers on or in? Yeah. What do you.
E
That was a good question. No, that was a good question, but hear me out.
B
Sometimes you just have passion as a very accomplished shoe.
E
Shoe, Sue. Chef.
D
Shoe.
A
All of them.
B
Shoe and a shoe, Sue, Chef.
A
Oh, boy.
E
Kind of.
D
Yeah, yeah, go for it.
B
She knows what she's talking about.
C
I do.
A
I get yelled at constantly.
E
She's passionate.
B
No, that's not it.
A
I'm like, there's a mouse in the vent. And he's like, no, it's not.
F
It's our rattling broken.
A
Let's keep it on high.
D
Nick, I do think you do have the perfect temperament to be a chef on Below deck.
B
Dare I say.
D
Say more like, it's like, you're. You have. You have your charming aspect. You have, like, the fun. You. You know what you're doing. You have it under control. But, like, you. There is, like, a slight edge that is really gonna keep it interesting. When you have a sous chef that, like, could piss you off.
B
I think I have one of the better not saying anything. Anything faces. Yeah. Which is kind of like what the actual. Were you thinking?
D
And then it would cut to your confessional, and it would be so mean, and it would be perfect.
A
When she's like, what was she doing? And then she's like, I don't know how to cook. I just have a passion.
E
It was good. It was the cake. When he said, did you not add sugar? And she's like, put your instructions where to? And then she just stopped.
C
I feel bad because it's like, the last chef that she was under was obviously, like, she also has a temper, but, like, was able to, like, work with her and, like, knew where she was at because she wanted to be in the kitchen. Exactly where I'm. Like, the way that she presented herself with Ben, who, if you've watched Ben has a temper. Ben is particular that I'm just, like, for you to say I have a passion for food sounds like somebody who can cook or, like, loves to cook at home, but, like, maybe just wasn't technically trained. Like, doesn't have, like, can maybe eyeball things, but, like, doesn't know how everything is made. And, like, the way that she said that. Yeah, no, I know.
A
She's when he said, can you dress the salad? And she said, dress the. In what?
C
I know, I know. That's where I was like, okay. Or like, it was like, that one.
E
Okay, that one I can't defend. I can defend the plate or the bowl, but that one.
D
Maybe she was doing a bit well.
C
Because, well, what else do you do to a salad? You dress it.
E
Now she's. Now she's nervous, and she's just saying things to.
D
Yeah.
C
Like, at first I felt bad because it was like, when she burned her hand and all that stuff, he was just like, it's not that hot. It's not that big of a deal. Where I was just like, a little compassion would be nice. But then I was like, oh. To.
E
To.
C
To literally have no skill whatsoever when it comes to cooking and no, like, common sense.
A
It's like, you just. You've been in a. I'm sure you've been in a kitchen. You know, dressing does go on a salad. And then he's like, are you that.
C
Is that.
A
Are you gonna make those leaves smaller? And she's like, smaller bowl or no.
C
When he asked for medallion lemons, and she cut wedges, and I was like, oh.
A
When she said, we don't have any black beans. But no, she said, what do you mean we don't have black beans? They're right here. Here he goes. It says red. Those are red beans.
E
She's trying. She's trying.
A
Yeah.
C
I'm like. But I feel like she'd be better suited maybe, like, we lost someone that.
E
Had to, like, go with her family. She could have, like, shifted over and then found someone else.
C
I'm just confused at how she got brought on as a sous chef.
B
You know what I'm confused about?
C
What are you confused about?
B
Why Heather guided Britney to flirt with more men.
C
Because Heather is a producer in her own mind, but she also made it seem like, as if she was like, oh, my God. On Salt Lake City, it was like, oh, my God. Brittany, Britney.
A
God, keep it in the box. Flirting with everyone.
C
Yeah, you're wild. And she's like, get with every man you see on this ship.
D
You know? No one ever talks about how good of an actress Heather is.
C
No, they don't.
E
She's a screenwriter. That's.
D
Yeah, she's. Oh, yeah, she is a screenwriter for sure. She. She's creating the plot, and she's making them all stick to it. She's uninvolved in it, though.
C
And then Britney just being, like, the little sister of the group, like, even more so on this show where it was just like, I want this room your girl. You're getting kicked out, and Lisa and Meredith are having their luggage brought in, and then you get roomed with the one person that does not like.
B
What are some things you're hoping we see next episode that might reveal some unanswered questions we had from Salt Lake City.
C
I want to see the state that they leave in. That's a big one for me. I want to see if they were like day drinking beforehand, which would make sense that the escalation of getting to the airport, having the one drink at the airport could have gone a little overboard.
E
I want to see them throwing the unicorn off the boat. Because Meredith said, if you look closely, I was not the one who actually threw it in the water.
D
It was a Purdue.
E
Yeah, well, she didn't specify. So nobody knows if someone did throw it in Purdue.
D
Yeah, she fake threw it in.
C
Yeah, well, they.
A
We also didn't see faces. We only saw the backs of the blow up, like animals or whatever they were.
E
We saw everything up until the dinner where Angie's like, sick.
D
Yeah.
E
So we have a lot to still see.
D
I really want to know about this cucumber. Do you guys remember the cucumber? I want to know more about the.
E
Cucumber that up that she just bought it on the way to do a break, but then forgot to slip it into someone else's cucumber.
D
And I. Well, in that vein, I bet that all of the. All of the crew will be having a joy to talk about that cucumber.
C
One below deck too. It's like they always have, like, themed dinners every night. So I'm like, we didn't see a lot of Salt Lake City was just about like the women's dramas with each other, where I'm like, I feel like this one, like kind of seeing things break down where it's like, okay, tonight's whatever decorations. They had masks on the bed when the woman originally found the. The cucumber. So I'm like, but we never those masks be used while they were on the ship.
D
I also just want to know what interpersonal dynamics we had no idea was even happening when Salt Lake City was great. You know what I mean? Like, Lisa. Lisa is fighting and crying on the side of the boat. Like, I want to know, like, what romance drama behind the scenes the kids are going through.
E
There was one of the crew members, I was like, should I grab her? And they're like, no, let her sit there.
C
Yeah, I want to see. Yeah. What the housewives don't have control over being shown on a show that's not theirs. That's. That's what I'm curious to see.
D
We'll find out.
B
We'll find out.
C
Episode two, baby.
B
All right, it's time to get into a little Traders. And we're going to get the help from former trader Carolyn, who was wreaking havoc in the castle last season. She joins us this season to break down all the shenanigans happening in the castle. Well, Carolyn, welcome back to the show. It's great to have you.
F
Thank you.
B
How are you?
F
I just want to get something off my chest. Otherwise I feel like I'm not going to really be able to. Please do this as my authentic self, if that's.
C
That's okay.
F
Yeah, I just, I was so orange for my reunion and I just. I don't want to say I blame you, but I kind of do because I couldn't. I couldn't shower my spray tan off and I'd had over developed and I just want to say I really, like, I was pissed at you for a while.
E
Me.
B
Me specifically. Yeah, we thought about it because you came here right from direct.
F
Direct without a shower and looked like an orange. You can't. Once you do a spray tan, like, it develops. It's done.
A
But I did hear that you smelled good.
F
I smelled like shit.
D
But.
F
No, thank you. Thank you. Like, I just needed to get that off there. It just was so damn orange and I was so self conscious of it and I just remember thinking like, stop being nice, Carolyn. Where does it get you?
B
I just think it's really important and healthy to just clear the air.
F
And congratulations on the pregnancy as well.
E
Thank you.
B
No, just talk your.
F
But like, I have not talked to you since and so I just needed to clear the air.
B
And I'm sorry and thank you. It's great to have you. Are you enjoying the seasons of Traitors?
F
I enjoy every season because it's a good show. It's. No, I love this show. I think that, like, it's impossible, like, to have a bad episode. It's great. I think that, that it's always crazy though. Towards the end you get so many people where it's like, I'm sorry, but that Ste. I don't want to talk crap about that Steven, but has he even been there? I'd be pissed if I were him. It like, I don't know if y' all like, know him or I didn't know his like history or I don't really Want. Wasn't he Laguna Beach?
C
Yes.
B
Yeah.
F
I was like, he's not been on the screen at all. Am I right? But it's a lot of quiet people left. I feel like it is.
A
Is. Yeah. Kristen, Eric. Eric.
B
Stephen.
A
Step.
F
Rob.
B
Rob is quiet.
F
He's quiet, but he's a good narrator. He's doing stuff. And he's. He's a traitor. So he's auto. Gonna get screen time. And he's. He's interesting enough. You know what I'm saying? I just feel like. And I know that with. With this show, it's the traitors. The traitors are going to get more screen time. I just feel like the. With the ones left, it's like. Like they are quiet, but so it's like times like this where you really. Do you notice when, like, Michael was. Was. Was banished, you notice when Colton's murdered? Because it's like, at the time, you're kind of like, shut these people up. But then once they're gone, it's like, it's quiet.
A
Yeah.
B
Yeah. No, it's. It's a. It's a lesson in reality TV in general that, like, sometimes be careful what you wish for because the fans, as I'm sure you know, know, will, like, speak up and they'll complain about some of the people who are the loudest and maybe obnoxious at a certain episode or not. But, like, you're right. As soon as they go, what's there left to watch or. Or in. In a house, like, usually the attention, then. Well, like, now that Colton's gone, like, where's the attention gonna go, you know?
F
Exactly. And there's just. They're quiet, so. But it's great.
A
How do you feel like Candace handled herself at the right round table.
F
She went in there, I'm sure. And I hate talking like this because it's like, it's not like I won. So I'm kind of, like, learning to, like, shut the heck up at times because it's like, my round table was awful. I'll, like, I'll own that. Like, she went in there, obviously, without having, like, the numbers or without talking to people. So it's like he got so far. Rob, in the game with having so many allies. She doesn't have the same amount of allies you would assume. Assume that make. Probably Dorinda might stick with her or Johnny and they vote against her, but it's like, I don't know what else she would have really said. He was. He looked nervous. There was no evidence against Rob, you know, to be able to even come at him. It would have been better to go for somebody else, but too many people were piled on her.
A
Yeah. I was about to say, I feel like she should have switched gears and maybe, like, put the heat back on someone. They were already thinking, like, Natalie, because there wasn't any evidence against her either. Besides, like, you've been consistent this whole time, and now you do a thing. Throwaway vote.
F
Like, stupid.
A
That's your. Like, she's a traitor. Like, what?
B
Well, I feel like Candace probably knew that her time was coming up. It felt like I. I feel like the throwaway vote was her kiss of death. I give her a lot of props in the turret just because at that point, it's just like, if you're gonna go, go out with a bang. And I feel like her wanting to kill Colton, knowing that Colton was Rob's biggest ally, like, it was definitely a choice. And maybe she. You could have said, oh, if she doesn't kill Colton, maybe she would have bought herself time. But I don't know. It felt like Rob was pretty committed, and I feel like. I feel like Candace knew that. So if you're gonna go, go out, like, the way she did, do the most damage on your way out. I felt like that was, like, at least for the fans, everyone appreciated that murder. We were happy to see him go. And she went out with a bang, and I actually love her for it. And I just, like, if you're gonna go, go big. And she went big. I just don't feel like there was any way out for her anyways.
F
There wasn't, but it's because he's got so many people. He's got so many allies. And so she clearly was playing, like, the faithful trait. Gosh, my voice sounds like a horse. So she like, I'm loose. I yell a lot in real life. So she was playing, like, a faithful trader game. And for a while, I was like, like, wow, these traitors are getting together. They're strategizing. This is what it looks like for them to get along. And then I found myself kind of being like, hey, I wish that they'd kind of fight. And then once they started to, like, dismantle, I was like, why can't they get along? So I've kind of come to the conclusion that I'll never be satisfied. But it was. I think that she was good tv. She was interesting.
B
I feel like Rob is playing one of the best games we've seen on traders in a long time, Whether he's a faithful or A traitor. It's really, really been. Not that I've ever played and you have played. So, like, I can say I have no notes, you know, Like, I know what it's like to be in the castle, but it seems really impressive. Oh, he took notes from you guys last season, right? Starting off, I don't want. I want to set the expectation with the traders that we're a team, we're a united front, but at the right time, he knew when to flip the switch. And it really seems to be all about timing. You really. You know, it's. It's funny watching Rob play, like, chess with all his housemates or castle mates or whatever you want to call him, but he really is. He's thinking multiple steps ahead. He is planning his murders out, and it's really been oppressive. And we were talking last week, I just don't see how he's not going to win this game because, you know, you saw Eric's reaction when he found out that Rob was a traitor. It's like he couldn't believe it. There's this sense of loyalty that these people have to Rob. You know, that's like. Seems deeper than just, like, game playing. And now he's like, I don't think anyone's going to turn on him. Even if they start wondering if Rob. Rob's a traitor.
A
No. The fact that after Candace came for Rob the way she did at the table and then stood up and said, I'm a traitor, and then Kristen and Eric are having the conversation of, like, maybe it's just like, someone. It can't be Rob. God, that sweet, sweet man. It just is. Can't. None of y' all are like, hey, why did the traitor come so hard for Rob?
B
They're acting as if, like, there's just no possible way of the person. Producers would ever knight him as a traitor, the sweet, sweet angel boy that he is, and it's just like, you know, it's possible because it's a game.
C
Donna Kelsey, for example.
F
Yeah.
C
Like, sweet, sweet Donna Kelsey was a traitor. Like, I'm just like, why are we not seeing that? And he made a point to say when he was walking out, he was like, did she not think that I made relationships with everyone and talked to everybody like that? Like, he. He's pretty much saying, like, I'm good with everyone here, which I think should also be kind of like a red flag for faithful.
A
I agree. What do you think, Carolyn?
F
I think he's doing really well, and I think he. There's. I. I can't see a world where he does not win right now because of the relationships. And that's something I failed at, Miserable girl. But because you really do, you have to build, like, strong relationships with all these people. And he's doing it, but you see it. I remember even with when nobody was talking to Ron, he was that person who was acting, actually giving him the time of day and speaking with him. And it seemed real. It seemed genuine. So you can just see it. And he seems like. I don't want to compare him to other people from past seasons, but he does. He seems like such a faithful, so I can't see him not winning.
B
How does that. I am curious when someone says, oh, he seems like such a faithful when you're inside the castle. I know it's different when we're watching it back. Can you describe a faithful, like, in terms of how they speak in gameplay where, like, when someone is like, oh, he's playing such a faithful game, what does that look like?
F
For example, on my season, towards the end, it was like lord Ivor, that's a faithful. Or Chrishell was another one where it was like, she is a f. You could just tell by how she spoke, how she genuinely just seemed, like, scared all the time and nervous and it's just something that they give off. I know I have a hard time explaining this. It's. Or even like I feel like Kristen this season looks like a faithful. Same with Tara is another one. And maybe it's due to her seeming, you know, a little clueless sometimes. Their fate. Like, I can't see Tara ever getting banished at the round table. You know, no one would vote for her. You've never heard her name, you know.
B
But I also think a lot of people. Because you were a traitor, I think a lot of people leading up to you being ousted, there was a lot of like, oh, a lot of shock about finding out you are a traitor before. What. What was the energy that you were giving off that felt so faithful at the time?
F
My set, just myself. And there's no way this weirdo could be a traitor. I think truly, like, I feel like people just was like, she's scatterbrained. She's emotional. She. I think what a lot of people were saying was there's no way she would be able to do it. She would tell everybody. She would blurt it out. She would. So it's just me, I guess being my self is. Is enough to be like, ain't no way she could handle.
B
Did you lean into that like. Or did you Come in with that self aw awareness where it's just like, I know what people are going to think about me. I know what is often said about me and I'm going to, you know, I'm going to lean into that and use that to my advantage.
F
Absolutely. But it's like I don't even need to lean into it. If I, if anything I had to like turn it, like I had to like to turn it down a little bit because I was coming out just so loud and so, so just confronting people before we had even picked the traders and because I truly just wanted to have fun and I thought that this game, game was, was obviously it's campy, it's fun, it's so I wanted to just be loud and out there. But then once you're picked, obviously it gets scary. It's like I don't want to be banished. And I think that's what stinks about this game. And you hear so many people say because people will be like, why aren't you louder at the round table? Why? Because you're afraid of getting banished. It does. I feel like this, this game sometimes doesn't reward getting out with a traitor and I, I love how the Canada version does. So they get money added to the prize pot if they get out a trader and I think that that's smart. Otherwise you have, you know, the people who keep their trader angels around. I haven't really been seeing that this season though. The trader angel thing.
B
And when you say Trader angel, is that like a faithful thinking they know who the traitor is but keeping it to themselves and then protecting that trader?
F
Yes. And, and, and not voting them out. So I mean, I think even Dylan knew that Boston had pretty good idea that Boston Rob was a traitor. Pretty good understanding that Danielle was a traitor. I. But you wait till the end to get him out.
A
Do you think we're going to see a stark difference in Eric if he accepts to join as a trader?
D
No.
A
You don't think so?
B
I don't think so.
A
You think he'll be able to be like, I'm the same.
F
I was shocked by this choice because, well, because in the past, you know, you want to bring somebody in that already has a little bit of heat. But he, this is just telling me that Rob really genuinely wants to bring this person to the end and win with him and that's what he's. And I'm like, wow. Because I could see both of them getting to the end and he actually wants to split the money versus I feel like I always have that thought of, like, whoever they bring into the turret, they're just going to screw over in the end. He's not thinking like that. But Eric. Yeah. I feel like, again, another example of, like, he's so faithful.
A
Yeah, he is it.
B
It'll be really interesting to see how Eric handles that type of pressure, because you could see Eric getting into. You'd see anyone getting into their head about, like, do they have to change something? But I feel like Eric's best move would be to try to change nothing. But it's probably easier said than done.
F
But he's been pretty. I feel like he's been pretty calm. He's been pretty chill.
A
What if now he's, like, super on edge?
F
I could see that.
B
I could. I could. I could picture Rob turning on Eric. Not because. For the money.
C
Oh, if it was necessary.
E
No.
A
Oh, if it was necessary.
C
The same thing with Candace. It's like, it was necessary. Or with Lisa Rinna. Sorry, it was necessary. Yeah.
A
I don't think at the end he would screw anyone over and, like, do what, you know, they did to mj.
B
Well, it brings up an interesting point. It is just a game, and there's a lot of discourse online nowadays, and.
C
It seems Caroline said no.
B
All right, so tell us about that, Carolyn, because, like, we. You're getting to the point in the game where obviously fans get connected to their favorite characters and when they get. Get voted off, we get a little upset. We get in the comments, and sometimes we lose sight that it is just a game. You have Candace. Rob's in the comments literally being like, it's only a game, Candace.
A
He said that in this episode.
B
What is your take on that?
F
Anybody who says it's just a game, I want to see your ass out there and see how you feel when you're in that castle. It's not like you can say it's just a game. Of course it's just a game.
C
We have get it.
F
Like, we don't need. I hate when people say that. I really. I do it because it's like when you're in it and I'm sorry. Some people can just look at people like chess pieces, and not everybody can. So whether it's right or wrong or it's an emotional game, it's an emotionally charged game, and we put. We take a huge chunk of our lives and we put it into this castle and we leave our loved ones. You know what I'm saying? It's a big deal. Deal.
D
Oh.
F
So for me, she obviously came into Candace obviously came into this game thinking or once she got chosen as a traitor, I'm gonna play this loyal traitor game. And I think that she was really surprised by it and I think that she. I feel like she handled herself so well and she could have done so much more to him and she's not. So I hope we see it at the reunion. Yes, I do. Because yes, it's like he sure Zach didn't do anything to like help her out, which that's not his job to do anyway to an extent. So if her name was out there and everybody was saying it, but he also, he contributed to that as well.
B
That makes sense. So you're kind of saying that like game or not, these people have a right to feel upset or feel slighted or feel like they got stabbed in the back because Rob literally did that game or not and they have a right to defend themselves.
F
Let her go off. Yes, I believe that, like, it's like, it's just. And that's the worst thing to say to, especially after she's already on to you. You just told her that her name's everywhere. She's set up. You set her up with the Colton thing and now you're going to be like, it's just a game shot. I'd be pissed whether he's playing great or not. This is emotional. Of course it is.
B
How much conversations about the prize money is often discussed in the house. We. Who did we see earlier? It was Tiffany and it touched me when she was like, I, I need to this money. And it was like. And then she got voted out and it was like hard for me to be like, how did anyone not hear her? Are we just gonna like kick her off right away? But like, does that get brought up in the castle and does that is used as either way to win over affection or is that coming from a place of sincerity for people? Like, how do you perceive those comments being talked about in the house?
F
For the most part, people are so damn rich on this show. It's just us gamers that really are like the broke ones or is that offensive? We're the ones who are like the real people because come on, we're out there with housewives with people who are rich as hell. And so 200,000 or how much is it? 250. It's not this like substantial amount of money. And for me, even I, I'm not some rich ass person. But I still even looked at the prize money of like, yeah, that's great, but I would rather be on the show longer, you know what I'm saying? And ultimately win, win. But I don't. On my season, yes, of course there were people who would talk about the prize money and really needing the money. I didn't do that. I. I really didn't. And I. I would say only a few did. And typically it's like the gamers. But yeah, that did touch me because I feel like for the most part, there's so many people who have so much money and it's just not even looked at. It's not so even. I was surprised this season when they were 20. Talk about, like, well, this person can add money to the prize pot. We were not. I didn't. Never even knew what the prize pot was up to because I was like, you get. And then you're splitting it. It's not a ton, you know, But I was proud of her for saying that because honestly, you're out there with a room full of people that you feel. And I can speak for myself and even just some of the other, like, gamer people that played where you just feel so out of place and in this world of. Of like, what are you even talking about? I don't live like that. You know what I'm saying? It's a different world. So I'm glad she just said that and was like, no, I need this money. Because most of them pro, like, they're not. They're wiping their butts with that. So.
B
Well said. If Rob doesn't win, what will be his fatal mistake?
F
I can't see him at this point making a mistake. I really can. I can't. I don't know what he is possibly going to do. And the reason I'm saying this is because I. He has so many people with him. He's got the allies. So at this point, it's just about who am I going to screw over or Eric possibly turning on him. But I can't see Eric doing that. So he's. May as well just give him the crown. Zachary.
A
It's like, honestly, I can't even see who they're going to try to pin the next roundtable on. I mean, that's just going to say.
C
It'S like, I feel like they kind of are going to have to take a different role, though, because right now it's been like kind of traitor on traitor creator.
A
Yeah.
B
That's the only part I feel like. And correct me if I'm wrong, Carolyn. This is like a pivotal time in the game. Speaking about, like, reality TV in general. Like, like you said like, even, like, if you're watching the Bachelor, like, right. The villain, all of a sudden, all the attention, early weeks is all on this one person. And then, like, the house kind of was like, you suck. You're. You're not here for the right reasons.
F
Leave.
B
Leave the house. And then, like, the next week, all of a sudden, the attention turns on to someone else. Right. Because the attention always has to. To go to someone. And because now Candace is gone, Ren is gone. She had all the attention. They had all the attention on them. The energy is going to have to shift to someone, and it's going to be kind of like it's going to be a lot of, like, Colton style where he's just throwing out names.
C
I was like, do you think Robin, Eric are going to announce and have to be, like, agents of chaos trying to, like.
B
Well, a little bit, yeah. They're almost like they're going to have to start throwing out some names. Rob might as well just embrace the Colton role, which is just to, like, be the ringleader, kind of be in charge of, like, this kind of allyship that they have and really, really start.
C
Like, my thing is that I'm like, if Rob gets too comfortable, I feel like speaking up and whatnot. I'm like, Johnny and a bunch of people who did talk to Candace do know that she was gunning for him. That I'm just like, if he goes into a position of like, a Colton and being loud in front, wouldn't that kind of also put him up on a chopping block because he hasn't played that way this whole time.
B
Yeah. I'm curious, Carolyn, how would you like to. To. To Sierra's point, like Rob said in the episode, it's only a matter of time before they connect the dots, which I think is true. Right. The fact that Candace did put rock Rob's name on there twice. If I'm part of the round table and we get a trader, right. I would always be curious, especially this far into the game. I would want to know what name did that put trader put on their card? Right. It's clear that the traders. I don't know what you're allowed to say, Carolyn, but it seems clear that you guys have an extra set of rules as traders. And it sounds like number one rule is to not out. You can't out your fellow traders, but you can play the game. You can accuse them in the house, can vote against them. That's the only power you have. And it always seems to be a part of the season where the Traders might turn on each other and I would just, if nothing else would note that traitor and who they voted for. But I wonder if the, the, the, the friendship these all have will blind them to the fact that like Rob's name has been on Candace's car two weeks in a row. And that's not nothing.
F
And, but look at what they all said right after the, right after she wrote the name. They were all brushing it off. So I don't see right now a world a sudden it's like, we better look at that. I don't right now. And it's not like there's that many episodes left. It does feel like a lot of people who are just on his side regardless. So I just don't, I, I don't call me like I, I don't see it. He's got so many people. He has got so many people. So him writing or Candace writing his name. So many people just brushed it off. If anything. Johnny, like, Johnny's next. What?
A
Johnny's next. Natalie is going to be soon after.
F
And she has no or it seems like at this point no real allies in the game or no really strong connection. So it's like she's essentially screwed too.
B
I loved Tara. Tara was just like, you know, whoever Johnny tells me to vote for, you know, and she's just like acknowledges that like I'm just, I'm open for business.
A
You know, Mara being like, what about Johnny? And Tara's like, no.
C
Well then Rob also has the dagger six or whatever.
B
Oh yeah, he has. Has the two dagger still.
C
But he has the daggers. But his like his allies are like this. The people that took the pact with him to like not out who had the dagger. So he already has like those people as an alliance.
F
Yep. He's winning. I mean I just, I don't. He's been so even keeled. He's been just so good at everything. Where's he going wrong? I don't see him just like getting emotional and slipping or I don't see Eric. He sure as hell ain't gonna turn on him. So they're good. I'd be shocked if they don't like when really.
C
I agree.
B
This has been fun, Carolyn.
F
Thank you.
B
And now, especially now that we're. We're friends again.
D
Sorry.
F
No, I'm not sorry.
G
Yeah.
F
No, thank you.
B
Anything you want to plug before we let you go?
F
No, I'm good right now. I'm not good with like go to this site or go to the. What's your Instagram tell everybody it's so. It's Carolyn Rose, but the O's are zeros. I need to change that. How do I do that?
A
I think in settings, change username, maybe.
F
I don't know, but do you know what I'm saying? With my name? Like, I have to say that every single time. Like, the O's are zeros. People are like, what the hell?
B
But, yeah, back in, like, in 2009.
A
Natalie Joy 2 ends.
B
Like, I'll never care about this.
A
Yeah.
B
Throwing a couple underscores. Yeah.
C
Random X here and there.
F
Sucks, but. No, thank you. You guys are doing a good job. It looks really, really pretty there too. Something changed. I can't put my finger on it, but new building. It looks good. It looks good.
A
Great seeing you, Carolyn.
B
You're the best. Bye.
A
Thank you.
D
I love her so much.
A
Should we get into some Beverly Hills?
B
I. Listen, I, I, I'm gonna try to. I'm. I'm gonna defend Amanda a little bit here. Not because I'm not saying she is a flawless person without criticism, but here's what I. The whole scene where you have Dorit. Kyle. Dorit and.
E
And Kyle and Eric. Birthday party.
B
No. Was it Bo's there?
C
Are you talking about the dinner, or are you talking about the final lunch? It was Rachel, Dorit, and Sutton, and they were like.
B
It was kind of giving me. I was just like, why, If. If Amanda's so bad, why are these women even wasting. I know they're making a TV show, but, like, the fact that they had to sit there and just, like, talk about this new woman on the show, and just, like, they were, like, looking for things to, like, oh, like, is. Are you supposed to say you're in a cult? Blah, blah, blah. Isn't that weird? Are you, like. It's like, to Amanda's point, it's just like, they're like, oh, we need to find out more about this person. I mean, like, this person literally is admitting they're in a cult. Like, they're just. They're putting it out there. They're saying that the worst thing I could admit about myself is that I was in a cult, and I want to admit it. And then they're having a lunch, being like, but she admitted she's in a cult. There's got to be more. Like, what? It's like they're. It's like they're trying too hard to bring Amanda down, and I feel like they look bad doing it, even though their. Their criticism might be valid. And, yeah, Amanda says things that are annoying and like one uppy and things like that. But it's just like they're. They're trying too hard to make her look bad.
C
I think it splits the crowd, though, because I feel like those women genuinely do feel that way. Like, Rachel's been kind of raising eyebrows left and right. I'm surprised Bose wasn't a part of the. Of that. But I do feel like the unfortunate thing is that that is the reality. Sometimes the things that bond people together is a common enemy or somebody that you don't like. And you're literally just watching a girl's group chat at lunch where I'm like, so it seems mean. It seems the same way that we're like, Taylor Swift can call someone a and da, da, da. Where I'm like, you're just watching that. But it's just. It's.
B
It's.
C
Instead of it being in text on tv, they're sitting down, having a glass of wine and saying, hey, this person that we're forced to hang out with, I don't like.
F
You don't like.
C
You don't like. Okay, so why, why, why is she rubbing us up thumbs the wrong way? And I'm just like, yeah, because it's an unnatural environment of where you're forced to hang out with somebody that you probably wouldn't with on the regular.
E
Yeah, I think you're right, Nick. I think the way that Dorit brought it up shows that because they were at the table talking about nothing to do with it. And she goes, well, you weren't a cult, right? Yeah. And it's kind of like you were waiting to bring that up at some point kind of vibes. Like, that's. If that was.
D
It's also. It's also. That's such a weird gotcha. You know what I mean?
B
Well, because her story reads is this, like, I got caught up in this weird group kind of religious aspects of it. And then I kind of realized they were like, I. I was in a cult, which is like a kind of an empowering thing. And most people stuck in these cult like, groups don't realize it, don't get themselves out of it. And yet this is being spun is something that's still negative about her, and there must be more darkness or shady things about her because she was. Was someone who once joined a cult.
A
I mean, Bose ate.
C
Oh, my God, left no crumbs.
A
Bose is never wrong.
D
She's literally never been wrong in her entire life.
A
But her being like, you expect everyone to respond in a way that is acceptable to you.
C
Like, how are you going to enforce that? Girly, you're on.
F
Yeah.
D
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
C
Can I purchase this on the manifest in the money?
D
Also, my thing with that, how I took Bo saying that was her being like, girl, we are on Housewives. You want people to have a calm conversation with you. Our job is to verbally. To verbally accost each other. Like, give me the. Give me a break.
C
I think in Amanda's perfect world, when she prompted during that dinner, she was like, do you want to go somewhere else and talk about it and do it was like, no, I'll talk about it right here. Good and great. Like, I feel like that to her was kind of like, you're making it a public spectacle, and therefore, it's like, with raising your voice or making an accusation at me, that's no longer making me feel safe, which, like, I get. But however, to Bose's point, you're on a TV show for Bravo that is about housewives verbally accosting each other. And two, you're not gonna. No one's going to present something when they're angry with you in a way that's gonna make you feel comfortable to discuss it. You also have the ability to pick up the phone and say, hey, let's meet up for coffee. Hey, I don't wanna. I don't wanna continue this, but it's like, you can't call somebody childish in the way that they choose to bring something up but then also not give another solution. I. As to how to solve it.
A
Yeah. And also, her punting it to Kyle was.
E
I thought that was an iconic dinner. I was like, take the torch, Kyle. And then Erica chiming in, being like, come on, Dorit.
A
No, I was like, this is cool. Erica's sitting there quiet the whole time. And then Dorit says, okay, can you shut up for one second? And Erica's like, that was too far.
E
But that is Erica's. That's Erica's thing, though. Erica was always the person that was, like, handled this respectfully, and she'll let you fight your war, and then she'll be like, okay, well, that was.
C
It's also Erica's birthday, like, and Dorit's birthday. It's Dorit's birthday too. But I'm just like, it's Erica's birthday guy as well.
D
And she's like, come on, you guys.
E
No, Dorit. When she said, yeah, I was like, okay, we've become children. I'm sorry, we lost the plot of the argument, but I love it.
D
My thing with the Kyle and Dorit stuff is I'm just like, I don't care anymore.
A
Like, yeah, just kiss it.
D
I mean, yeah, but it's just obviously, Kyle's divorce experience is different than Dorit's divorce experience, and they just need to both, like, get over. Over their. Because I don't care. And I would like a new storyline that doesn't involve PK But I do.
A
Need Kyle to start being like, I don't know. I haven't talked to Mo about that. Oh, I don't know. Yeah. Mo and I have not had those conversations. I don't know what PK Is saying, but she. But Kyle continuously is like, PK saying something different. I don't know. PK is telling Mo the complete opposite.
E
She's still friends with.
A
Barely putting yourself.
B
No, but you can't.
E
Yeah.
B
To that point, you can't. How could you be friends with Kyle?
D
I know.
C
I agree.
D
I just, like, am sick of it. I just need Kyle to stop doing it.
B
There's ever a time for your friends to rally around you. It's going through a very messy divorce where your former partner, the person who you thought you were teammates with, you raised children with, are now making moves that feel like an attack on you and your family. And. And, yeah, Kyle's like. But I've heard it's like, you know, one of the most frustrating things someone can say to you when they're, like, making an argument was like, just, you know, other people are saying that, you know, like, stuff like that where you kind of speak for other people, like, you know, more that they don't.
A
That's not what I heard.
B
It's not what I heard. It just mentally fucks with you and, like, the. The reach. Fragile state of mind in this very fragile time to, like, not be entirely sure if Kyle is on your side. And. Yeah, and because Kyle. Kyle has, like, what, the dream divorce, it seems like I don't want, like, I don't know what it's like to be in Kyle's shoes. I understand that divorce is what we see on tv.
D
Kyle has what we see.
B
She still has this very respectful, very beautiful relationship with her still husband, who still values the family, who still like Mo's. Whatever he's doing on the side. The fact that he's DJing now. Oh, my God.
C
I was gonna wait. I was gonna wait. I'm done. What is so. The new midlife crisis, I'm convinced is instead of buying a Corvette or a sports car, now you'll just get a Tape deck and fucking now you're a dj.
B
But that's the thing. Like, Kyle's biggest problem in this divorce is her. Her. Her ex husband, I guess, you know, legally, whatever is DJing and. And still willing to make fun of himself. And he can roll his eyes at himself and his daughters can give him shit and they can still become together as a family. Family. Meanwhile, PK is trying to just like it must feel to Dorit that he's trying to destroy her.
C
Yeah.
B
And anytime Kyle would suggests that he's. She's heard something different or that she doesn't totally believe. Delete. Dorit must be so like, infuriating and just like, honestly feels like there. She's not my friend.
C
I do wonder too, where I'm like, I. I kind of feel like Dorit has a little bit. Bit of. Not like, not jealousy. What's the word I'm looking for? But like in the sense of like she feels like Kyle could never. Resentment maybe because Kyle can't put herself in. In Dorit's shoes because she does has an experience in divorce.
B
She doesn't. She's not trying to either.
C
Exactly. But I'm like. Because that's the thing where I'm like, I don't think that the advice that Kyle gave was wrong or bad by any means. That it's like at the end of the day, we've watched it happen with Erica with the. With her lawsuit. That it's like they will go back and they will. They can take things out of context. And if you. If you're sitting here saying that he's a terrible father and all that stuff and he can prove otherwise, what does that mean for your custody? Like, so it's like for. What Kyle's saying is not bad advice. It's how she's going about it and when she's trying to present it, which I'm just like, the amount of boring. Yeah. The amount of boring scenes I get of one on one fucking housewives conversations. Why can't this be one of them?
A
Yeah.
C
Because that one would actually be worth watching and make sense being like, hey, I'm coming to you because, like, I love you and I care about you and I know that we've been estranged and it's hard to like, hear what I'm saying because I'm not in. In your shoes. But I'm saying this because I care about you. But when it seems like you're going to Amanda. Amanda Francis, of all people. Who knows her the least? And talking to other cast members about it, then it doesn't come off as genuine when you say it at the dinner table.
A
But it also does make sense as to why she accepts it coming from Bose versus Kyle.
C
Exactly.
A
I mean, that was a great flashback.
B
She's like, yeah, but. But yeah, it is coming from all she. It seems like all she wants to hear from Kyle is like, I hear you.
C
I. I see you, and I'm sorry that this is happening to you. And, like, I wish that he could stop. I wish he would stop.
G
Yeah, it.
A
The.
D
With the Kyle and Amanda stuff. Specific.
F
Whoa.
D
Kyle and Amanda.
E
Kyle and Amanda. Sorry.
C
The Bravo crossovers universe.
D
Anyway, well, with Beverly Hills, Kyle and Amanda, Crystal actually, on humble brag, was saying something interesting, which was that Kyle just wants a good show. And so. So I. In her perspective, so watching. When I was watching Beverly Hills after, like, listening to that episode, I was like, huh. The way Kyle kind of works. Durie is very much. There is a potential that. It's like she's continuing this narrative about PK to make a show versus to be there for a friend. I don't know. Could be.
B
If I got invited to guest dj, would you support that?
A
No.
D
What's on your playlist?
A
No, because you have to practice.
F
Okay.
A
You can't just show up and, like, know how to work a turntable.
C
You're also about to have three children.
B
What if it was just. I. I have always had a dream.
E
Have you had a dream?
A
I'm sorry. You should have chased that earlier in life.
C
Like, there's got to be a list, right? There's gotta be a list of, like, a bucket list of things we haven't accomplished yet. Like, maybe we put that one down, like a little.
D
Do you have a gut dream to be a dj?
B
No. Do you think.
C
Did you ever think of a school?
B
Do you think Mo would ever open for Kyle since Kyle got to start first?
C
I don't know. I feel like Bravo Con.
D
Divorce con.
B
I'm divorce con.
C
It would be like BravoCon. Day 2 DJ Mo at 9:30am Just so you know, all the DJ sets start at 9:30am so early. These people are getting hype.
E
DJ Darinda's way too late, though.
C
And then Kyle's was at 1:30am which also checks out.
A
Yeah, of course. He was like, I don't want the morning.
C
I don't Bravicon. No, no, no. Like, I can be in bed. Yeah.
D
Mo and Mo and Kyle can do day shift, night shift.
C
There you go.
D
There we go. I don't know.
C
Out there at night.
F
Too.
B
Yeah, I'd go, I'd watch, I'd support.
D
You'd be in the street.
E
I would support too. Yeah.
C
Yeah, I'll be at home in bed, asleep.
B
