Welcome back to another exciting episode of the Vile Files reality recap edition. I am your host, Nick, joined by my wonderful wife Natalie. And the household is all with us today. We got everyone here, and, boy, do we have a wild and wacky episode for you. We have. Natalie, recently banished from the castle, will be joining us. And I have one very, very specific question for her that I was just so frustrated when I was watching. I was like, natalie, why didn't you ask this question from Traders. From Traders. But we'll ask her. We'll ask her today. And we're excited to have her join us as well. We also have the very hilarious Danae Hayes with us. You. If you don't know who Danae is, many of you already do, but if you don't, you'll be glad that we introduced you to her because she is absolutely hilarious and she joins us this episode as well. So much to get into. Obviously, love is blind as everyone's talking about it. Chris is maybe the most diabolical man out there. I. I'm just. I'm just tired of. Of the poor representation that us guys have on some of these shows, man.
B
They just gotta stop acting like that.
C
Then is it poor, accurate?
A
We need more Valley Persian style. I just every day. Anyways, we. If you haven't noticed or heard,
D
lay down.
B
Hey, Steve.
E
Nikki should be like, we are also joined by our two dogs.
F
Steve said, I saw the love you just gave to Jeff. What is the deal, Mom?
D
Yeah, go lay down.
B
Bye, Steve.
D
Lay down.
B
Did you guys tell Steve I said bye?
D
Down. He's right there. Mary says bye.
B
Thank you.
D
Lay down.
C
He said, sit right in front of me.
D
All the way down. No football. Are you sure, mom always, like, someone's gonna notice. I'm like, someone's gonna notice the clip between, like, Steve being in our laugh, like, not being in the room to cut, you know, and be like, oh,
C
you know.
B
Yeah.
A
No, it was like Beverly Hills Housewives when Denise asked for a Mexican Coke. And then they kept jumping between scenes.
G
Oh, my God.
A
Coke was there.
G
Yes.
A
And then it wasn't there. And then it was there. And then it wasn't there.
D
And then it was in the cup.
B
And they're also having, like, a very intense conversation, and I'm like, why am I thinking about the Mexican coke?
F
No, there's nothing that drives me.
A
Literally.
B
Yeah, we'll get into it.
F
If she didn't ask for it, it probably wouldn't have been that big of a highlight. But, like, she literally asked for it, and that's all I'm focused on.
B
And also, as a. We'll save it.
A
Yeah, literally, we'll save it.
D
Well, if you don't follow us on Instagram, what are you doing? Because we made a huge announcement, but we are having twin girls, and we're adding two more girls to the mix.
A
Two more little girls could not be more exc. I know many people in the comments was thinking that I would. That last balloon, I wanted to be blue.
D
And I will be honest with you guys. Everything on social media is fake. We did, in fact, act for that video because we did already know the difference. So there's just no way that he would have been upset with the second balloon because he did already know that there were two girls.
A
Listen, I mean, obviously, River's been such a dream and a blessing. And listen, if I get to have a son someday, that will be great. But there was a. Right after we found out that Natalie was having. Well, we were having girls. I'm always trying to back and forth between. Now he's pregnant, but we're having girls. You know, like, it's not that we're pregnant.
D
Yeah, right.
A
And now he's. And I was. I was coming down our stairway, and river was looking up at me, and Nelly's mom said, just imagine, in a few months, you'll have. You know, not in a few months, but soon you'll have three little girls looking up at you, and it just, like, melted my heart of just having, like, you know, it's just. It's gonna be great, right? Like, having three. You know, when we were. When we found out we're having twins, obviously, we're like, you know, what the. Oh, it'd be cool. You know, would it be two boys or two girls or identical or fraternal and, like, boy girl? And then every combination was great, right? And thinking about, you know, having all the girls very close in age, you know, river being an older sister to the two younger girls, like, it's a great Thing. So we're very excited.
D
We're so excited. It's also like, my older sister who has twins did the exact same thing. Like, has her daughter Elizabeth, who's two years older, two and a half years older. And then she had two identical twin girls.
E
Oh, wow.
A
They seem to like each other.
D
And they. And yeah. So it's like she has the exact same dynamic. And, like.
A
It looks great.
D
Yeah, it's super fun.
A
We're also deep in the. In the baby name.
D
Oh, my God.
E
Wait, can you test them out on us? Can you please preview?
B
Yes, please.
A
Well, I'm gonna run one by you.
E
Okay.
A
And.
D
And by run one by, he means he's gonna tell you one that's definitely not happening. Okay?
B
Because. Pitch session.
D
As soon as he says it, you'll know why it's not happening.
B
Whose idea will happen?
A
I really think. I really think. I really think it could rock. And if. Listen. If you're listening.
D
No pun intended.
F
Oh, my God.
E
Wait, hold on. Whose idea was this? Was.
B
Okay, no ideas or bad ideas.
A
It was mine. It was mine. It was mine.
C
Wait, I want to guess.
A
It was mine.
F
Percussion.
D
Okay. Yes.
C
Well, give me one hint. You said rocks. You said rock. So I'm thinking Boulder.
E
Rocky, which is kind of cute.
D
Oh, Boulder.
C
Boulder. Viol.
A
That George Michael pebble by all. I think it's pretty good. I. Listen, if you like it, you can have it, because I'm.
D
No one's going to want it, but
A
my wife and Chat, GPT had some critiques.
B
If Chat had critiques.
A
You can't name your kid.
D
It must be awful. I need to hear the.
B
The anticipation is too huge.
A
Nirvana. E. Nirvana.
B
Okay.
A
It means heaven.
E
Are you naming them both? Nirvana.
A
It's also one of the greatest grunge bands of all time. But by the time Nirvana would be, like, say, 15 years old, none of her friends are really gonna.
E
What's her nickname?
A
Chat was like, do you really want your daughter to have to be, like. You mean after the band name?
F
I mean, to be. To be fair, it could be Vanna or
C
Vana.
E
She could have.
C
I've actually met a couple Nirvanas, and they're always the sweetest people because, like you said, I have, like, Nirvana is
A
a pretty name, and it's a beautiful name.
C
Nirvana also stands for, like, the circle of life. Once you collect, like, all of the good karmic energy, you reach Nirvana. So I think, like, it's a good. What is it? Premonition or whatever.
F
A good omen.
C
Oh, man.
B
Guess what? I could make Her a rock and Nirvana.
E
No, you know what? You know what? You know why this is, this is a bad idea? Because when she's born, it's going to just be so many Nirvana baby T shirts and onesies that you're not even going to know what to do with. People are never going to stop.
C
That's true.
E
Every year for her birthday, it's going to be something. Nirvana.
G
They get her a heart shaped box.
B
They get her, you know, Anyways, our
A
daughters, neither of them will be named Nirvana. So if you love it, wait, you're welcome.
C
Wait, I do have one more question, Nick. If one of them was Nirvana, what was the other child's name?
B
Pearl J.
A
We can't. We're still, we're still. I'll tell you another name that we're not going to use that Natalie really likes for a middle name.
B
What?
A
Plum.
E
That's the middle name.
C
Plum.
B
I think Plum is cute. Kelsey Plum.
E
Plum is cute.
B
Yeah.
D
Thank you.
E
You, you should do. One should be Plum, one should be Clementine. Just go with the fruit theme. Middle names.
C
Apricot.
H
Yes, Apricot.
E
Apple.
A
Now there is a name that we're chewing on I can't give away, but I'm curious what you guys think because we obviously we're, you know, we like celebrating our family, family's histories and pulling names from various family members and having inspiration. There's one name in particular we quite
D
like, but like the perfect middle name to go with it, like will just be a famous person's name. And it's like, do we celebrate that person? Like, I just saw Esther Pavinsky. Who Friend of show, she is pregnant, having a boy and she just posted like, can you guess our son's name? It's the name of a very famous person. First name blank. Second name king.
A
There's a name that we really like and we're trying to think of another name to go with it. You know, first middle name. And the only combination we are obsessed with is a famous person that we all love. And the question is, do we say fudge it and be like, hey, Michael B. Jordan it? You know, do we Michael B. Jordan it? I say do it or would you, you know, we can message, we could
D
message her on Instagram.
A
I think we know people who know people and we say, would you, if you hate this, if you don't want
D
us to do it, would you give us your blessing?
A
Would you give it? Ask for their blessing?
E
Well, they can't say no. Don't name your kid by name. But I think that it would be.
A
I would say. I would just say, if you don't want us to do it, don't respond. If you don't respond, we won't do
E
well, but then what if they just also. Because they don't see it, like, is
F
this name super unique?
A
That's also fine. That's also fine. Then we. We leave it in the. As they say. God.
C
Also, people do this all the time. Aren't like a lot of kids and people named after celebrities their parents were obsessed with?
E
I think what you do is you reach out and you say, hey, we're huge fans of yours. We really love your name. And we are thinking of naming our daughter the same thing. Like, that's it.
A
And it's also like, it's. It's predicated on the. The A family going to.
D
Yeah, yeah. But then also, it's like she wouldn't be called by her first middle. You know, like, river doesn't go by River Rose. You know, we call her that around the house. But like, when she goes out in public, it's like, oh, this is River Vile. You know, like at the doctor's office. So it's not like she's going to be called the famous person's name all the time. Would be a middle.
A
There's also the argument that this famous person, it might not actually be their birth name. It could just be their stage name, their SAG actor name.
E
Yeah. That's the only thing is that they can't join SAG with the same name. So if she wants to be an
D
actress, she'll have to change it.
C
Yeah. The PR later on in life.
B
Think about the pr.
A
Yeah.
B
Yeah.
D
There can only be one.
E
Thankfully, Leia Globerman wasn't taken.
B
Yeah.
A
Mary's gonna die. Mary's gonna die.
D
Yeah, Mary's gonna die. Okay, wait, should we say it now and then we can delete it?
C
Yeah.
A
Yes, I would love to know.
B
Yeah.
D
Okay. And we're just. And we're just like throwing. It's not. We're not completely sold on it. We're just fiddling with it right now. But like.
A
Oh, that's a good one.
G
That's amazing.
E
No, you must.
F
You must.
E
I love a literary names. I love it.
B
I think it's amazing. I think it's an amazing, incredible show stopping. Never been done before, will never be done again.
E
I absolutely reach out. Reach out.
B
Not in that way.
E
Absolutely reach out. Now that I know who it is. Absolutely reach out. I mean, she'll. She'll be. So I'm sure It's nice about it.
B
Yeah. I'm sure it's flattering.
E
So flattering.
G
Yeah.
D
Speaking of, like, the thinking of having the three girls, it was like, I. River non stop talks about. She's, like, obsessed with horses and cows and farm animals. And, like, she's obsessed with my sister Amanda, who all the nieces and nephews call her Mamie. So she, like, randomly one day was just like, mama, drive, drive, drive, drive, drive. Maimay's house. And I was like, you want to drive to Mae Mae's house? And she's like, yes. And I'm like, okay, okay. And then she just wouldn't drop it. Like, she just kept talking about it. She kept wanting to, like, mommy cow this and mommy horsey this. And I'm like, you know what? Like, let's just go for the weekend.
H
Right?
D
That could be fun.
A
I mean, her sister literally has an animal farm.
B
That's awesome.
D
So I was like, nick, do you want to come with? And he was like, well, you know, we don't have anyone to watch the dogs. And, like, I kind of got to work on Thursday, Friday, and maybe I'll come Saturday morning. I'm like.
A
And then I was like, I want to, like, spend time with my sister. And so she went for four days.
E
Nice. That's so nice.
D
And asked Nick what he did.
F
What did you do?
E
I know what.
A
I took care of the dogs.
G
Yeah.
A
I had a lovely. I. Listen, I. I had not. I have not been alone.
D
Yeah, no, literally, guys, when I'm telling my sister that, like, we're coming this week, and she's like, oh, is Nick gonna come, too? And I'm like, he might. I don't know. And she's like, are y' all ever apart? I'm like, no, never. No, we're always together, Which I love.
A
Love, love, love. Very connected. But I have not been alone and quite some time, and I wasn't sure what I would do. I picked up the old Madden controller, Xbox video.
E
Nick disappeared. Nick disappeared.
A
I disappeared. Literally. I. I was on my phone. I didn't go on my phone, period. I was just playing Madden.
C
Nick told us he would disappear.
A
52 games.
E
52 games.
A
What?
E
You played 52 games?
A
They're like 40. They're like 40, 40 minutes each. When I say I didn't leave.
E
What's the math there?
A
I did leave the house once on
E
a Friday night for 34, 67 hours.
A
Yeah, that's not even. So honestly, not that much.
C
Good for you.
B
True.
G
Oh, my God, thank you.
B
You could have Played more.
A
I have twins on the way. This is it.
C
When's the last time you pulled out the Xbox?
A
It's been years.
C
Okay, so lay.
D
She's been like, dabbling it in at night.
A
Well, like, lately, I. I turned it on a couple, like a weeks ago. But before that, it's been years.
C
That's how he de. Stresses.
A
I did leave the house once on. On. And it was. I. I called up a friend and I. Do you want to have a. You want to go on a date with me?
E
Cute.
A
A man date.
B
How was it?
A
It was lovely. I had a great time. And this friend's one of the. He's. He's a. He's an extraordinary extrovert, very friendly, very affable fellow. And he was one of those friends. He was just like, yeah, I got this thing before. Just come and then we'll go to dinner afterwards. I'm like, cool. Say less. Like, I'm. Literally haven't left the house. Well, the thing he had turned out to be a hall of fame induction ceremony at the university that he went to.
E
You were feeling so sporty already.
A
I thought. I thought we. We thought we're showing.
D
He was already in, like, the sports vibe, you know, like playing Madden.
E
I am ready.
A
Yeah.
B
Did you feel like you were walking into the video game celebration after you've won?
A
Yeah.
B
Awesome.
A
I was like, they're celebrating me.
D
He's like, I'm inducted into the ball.
B
You're like, oh, my God, the jacket. For all of my troubles.
A
I'm only. I'm only like 500. Actually. I was. I'm not. I'm Again, it's been years. I'm. I am getting better, though.
D
Okay.
A
And then I. Then I found out it was a hall of fame induction ceremony and I had. I don't know why. In my head, I'm thinking like, high school graduation. I'll be sitting in some bleachers, whatever. It'll be like a thing. This was a very intimate setting, and as many universities do, all the alumni. And then this is a very proud university, you know. And so I walk into what is typically my hell, and it's like a social gathering. And I'm very much. Lately I've been in this. In this, like, I'm trying to stay present wherever I am. This is where I'm supposed to be. Like, focus on the good, you know, no complaining. This is. This is what I need to be. So I had, like, a positive energy. Turns out there were 15 speeches.
E
Oh, no.
A
Because they had 15 inductees. Or there was 11 inductees. They each gave a speech. Then there were speeches to, you know, to introduce them and more speeches. And it turns out I was moved.
E
Okay.
A
I got a little choked up. I got inspired.
C
Oh, wow.
A
Even the last speech was maybe the best speech. Really funny. Really funny. And then there was one, and. And. And this person left me with a bit of, like, meaningful advice. It was a woman who was being inducted for her lacrosse career. And she was around my age, graduated around the same time. And she said, you know what? When I think back about my career and she's being inducted to being this great player, she's like, I can't think of one personal accomplishment. I don't remember the score of any game that I played in or anything like that. But I do remember Thursday nights at, like, the. Whatever hall where all the teammates got together and we would watch Friends.
E
Aw.
A
And it was just like. It was a really great. You know, it's just, like, how much it's what matters to you. And all these people gave speeches about their friends and the people they met at college. And it really just goes to show that, like, when we look back on life, it really is the most meaningful connections that we have that matter most. Whether it's your loved ones, whether it's the kids that you have or the friendships that you have, like, those are the things that matter. And it's not, you know, who, you know, the person you dunked on or how many goals you scored or things like that. So it was a really beautiful message that will stay with me. And it's just a good reminder of the things that really matter in our lives.
D
And yet he still played Madden last night. He's like, oh, it's okay. It doesn't matter how many goals you score. But let me try to get. Let me try to do a touchdown in bed, watching.
A
We were in bed together, snuggling up because I hadn't seen my wife in four days. And then river, just river, she came back a little.
D
Like, I don't want to listen to anybody or anything. And I think it's because, honestly, like, we. The second we woke up, we were outside. Like, the weather in Savannah this weekend was beautiful. It was like high 70s, 80s. It was just perfect. So the second we woke up, we were outside. We were walking around. She's driving the, like, buggy around. She's, I mean, just in absolute heaven. And I think when we got back home, she was like, what is this? You want me to, like, sit, structure and play with my Toys, like, I don't. I want to be outside running and jumping.
A
Really bonded with her favorite person, her mother over the weekend. And so when river wakes the middle of the night, usually I go up and soothe her. She was not having it last night. So mom came in and took over. And I was like, well, this is going to take at least 30, 40 minutes. So I played a game of men.
E
Perfect time. Perfect time.
B
You're economizing your time.
A
Very efficient.
D
I was going to ask.
F
I was like, were you a little hurt?
E
Meanwhile, yeah, what else am I going to do in 40 minutes?
A
I lost by one and a last second feel. Go. So frustrating.
D
Meanwhile, is Louie still in a crib bed?
E
No, I actually he. At like 11 months. Was like, nope, no more. I'm sleeping in your bed and only your bed. So I bought a toddler.
A
Me do that a lot.
E
I bought a toddler bed. Built it myself. Thank you very much. Diva designed it to be the exact same, like, bedding that I have. Different color, design, gorge. And he doesn't sleep in that either. He still sleeps in our bed, but he does start off there, but he ends up at our bed. But does. Are you guys trying to transition river into a toddler bed?
D
I think we need to, but it's more so. I just cannot lean over with my belly to, like, lay her in the crib softly. So I, like, have to, like, kind of, like plop in and it wakes her up every time.
A
The last 2 inches is kind of a drop.
D
Yeah. I can't reach. Have you.
F
Have you seen that video? It's a TikTok. It's viral. But it's like she's like. Like, my baby always knows when we're at home. I don't know how she does. And it's like her going up the driveway, and all of a sudden the driveway is, like, super jagged, and the baby's just like, yeah, yeah, yeah.
A
It's so good.
E
It's so good.
F
That's what that reminds me of.
H
She's like, so peaceful.
F
Then all of a sudden, just like, falls.
E
Yeah, you gotta get like a stool or like. I don't know.
G
I don't know.
E
Guys, the babies are kicking. Oh, my God.
H
Oh, my God.
E
You're gonna get. They're gonna be athletes even imagine they're
B
gonna be in the Olympics to have
E
four feet kicking you.
C
Oh, wow.
G
Yeah.
D
Truly, it feels crazy.
F
Can you see them?
D
Not yet. You can just, like, now start to feel Em.
F
You're just like.
D
And I feel bad because my. My sister in law is also pregnant, and we're due literally the exact same time. She's having a boy. We're having the twin girls, so we might go a little bit earlier than her, but she. It's her first kid, so she's like, when? Like, when do I feel him kick? And I'm like, oh, well, depends on where your placenta is. And also, I don't think I felt river till, like, 24 weeks. Like, I feel like it took forever for me to feel river, but I've been, like, helping her build out her registry, and she's like, do I need the baby bottle sterilizer? And I'm like, no, no, babe, you're gonna get it. And then you're gonna be like, it's so much easier to just wash these by hand than, like, have to. It's like, oh, let me buy the tablets to sterilize. But then also have to. I have to clean. It has to clean itself. It's like. I'm like, it's too many moving parts.
E
Natalie, we should go through all of the baby things that you do not need.
D
I'll start with baby towels and the things that you do need.
E
Yes.
D
Baby towels. Yeah.
E
Like, why do you need baby towels? Just use a regular towel.
B
Well, what if you want your baby to feel special with their towel?
C
Aren't the baby towels softer because it's
A
the baby industrial complex.
D
Yeah. Like, I feel like now we still use some of River's baby towels, because why wouldn't we? And then I'm like, this is, like, barely covering her. I'm like, poor little legs.
E
Yeah, exactly. And you're only using them because you have them, which is what we're doing. But it's like, yeah, I could literally just use my towels that I already have. But. But the other bath stuff, like, the. Do you guys use the one that, like, you have to put your knees on and, like, elbows on, like, the elbow pads? So I got all that. I like, don't use it.
A
The men of Taylor Frankie Paul's love journey have been released.
B
Yes, they have.
A
That's right. The men of the upcoming season of the Bachelorette is now available. Their bios are out there. I think we have a little promo video, do we not, of some of these men?
E
Oh, yeah, we do. Mary, you're gonna play it?
B
Oh, you know it.
D
Oh.
A
Oh, you know it.
C
All right.
E
Oh, the Book of Mormon. Oh, I love that.
B
The Book of Mormon.
E
I wish I came up with that. That is smart.
B
All right.
A
You know who I think you know Who I think says, I'm a take, take home to mom kind of guy.
E
Someone you don't want to take home to your mom.
B
Someone who's met a lot of moms.
A
Chris from Love is Blind. I think that's one of the biggest red flags.
G
Yes.
A
Like, obviously, you want to be someone that your partner would love to take home to your family, but to be like, parents love me. Parents love me.
B
Yeah.
A
It's like.
D
It's like you perform for parents or something. Why?
A
Yeah.
D
What's going on?
A
Any guy who says that, I'm always like, I don't know. I don't trust you some.
E
There is. There is one man, by the way, on this list whose fun fact is that he loves the Notebook. So I. I thought of you.
G
Yeah.
A
And again, great movie. Great movie.
E
Bad.
D
I kind of wish they would have had them, like, doing, you know, what, like, NFL players do when they're, like, playing, showing, like, their name, and they're kind of just, like, stand there, like, cross their arms or, like, just, like, look cool.
B
University of Oakland.
D
Why couldn't they just have them do that?
A
Because nothing about the show is allowing these men to look cool.
C
Also, it makes so much sense.
A
They're like, do something fun. Show your goofy side.
C
Also, Taylor is a mom. Tik Tocker dances on Tik Tok. She needs guys that can dance with her. So they're like, okay, dance for the camera.
D
But she also does it.
B
If they can't show Charlie, like, that
D
can be her career. They don't need to work together.
C
No. You know, she needs the backup dancer for the one or two trend.
B
Yeah.
C
So like.
F
Or I kind of wish that they would have done, like, an opening of Bachelor in Paradise where it's like, they had, like, a prop or, like, something that, like, tells us something about them, because I feel like I haven't learned anything.
C
Yeah, I agree with that. I think that says a lot when you bring an object.
B
Yeah. Nick, I have a question.
A
I. I think we need to kill dad talk, to be honest. So I. I don't. I thought when she broke up with Dakota, that was the end of dad. Or at least that was maybe my hope.
E
They might still be out there.
B
Sadly, dad Talk surviving.
A
No, they're there.
F
Dad talk goes on a trip.
A
Sorry, guys.
B
Yeah. Sadly, dad talk did.
C
So you like some of them?
G
We do.
B
Nick. What was your fun fact?
D
But I feel like. Oh, what was your fun fact?
B
Okay.
D
Is that something we can find? I don't feel like they did fun facts back then.
B
I'm Googling.
C
Yeah.
A
They asked some questions.
D
What would be your fun time?
A
I was like, I was at. I was sitting in a hotel room quarantine for, like, three days, and I was just getting tired of paperwork, and I was just, like, answering some questions. Did not think they would make some of those public.
B
Well, according to the AI Overview, Nick it said. But before becoming a Bachelor franchise staple, Nick Vile was a standout track athlete at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, where he set the school record in the 3,200meter relay.
F
Does that sound like something you would have said for your fun?
D
Sounds like I wrote that.
B
He is the second oldest of 11.
A
I definitely did not write that in my bio.
G
Absolutely.
B
And originally joined the show for a free trip to Los Angeles.
E
Oh, that's true. I learned that those are some.
A
Well, no, I went to casting. I went to casting for the free trip to Los Angeles. I went on the show to go
F
to Europe, period, with a plan.
E
So I have to make it at least far enough.
A
I've never been out of the country. And I was like, it's like a travel show, you know? So I was like, maybe I'll get to go out of the country.
B
You could have just gone on the Amazing Race.
A
I hadn't been out of this hemisphere. I had been. I was lucky enough to go to Dominican Republic, which we ended up going there my first season. I was like, I've already been here. I'm just curious.
D
And they're like, it's not about you.
A
It's not about you. Don't worry. We're gonna crush your spirits. You'll never want to go back after this trip, Nick.
C
You're giving the Housewives of Salt Lake City when they couldn't leave the U.S. for, like, four seasons.
B
Oh, because of Jen Shaw's arrest? Yes, because of the FBI.
D
I feel like that set just. They had, like, a boombox sitting and someone like. Just like.
A
Yeah.
D
You know, with like, a CD player and like, just press play. And it, like, wasn't that loud. You know, the music wasn't very loud. And.
A
And there. There's. And if you. If you notice, if you watched with us, there's a split second of a guy bending over shaking his ass.
E
Yeah.
D
And someone was like.
A
He was like. He. He probably did that at the very end. Just like being a little goofy being. After they said cut.
G
Yep.
B
And they used it.
G
You know, I'm pro.
B
I think everybody needs to shake their ass more often. We were put on this earth with an ass to shake.
D
I agree, Mary. I do Agree.
B
It's fun.
A
Give us some of your favorites, Leo.
G
Oh, no.
C
I can already say I think Brad's gonna win the season.
F
Is that the Cowboy?
C
He's the Cowboy. He looks like he would go with Taylor, I think. And also I could see him moving
A
to Can I see Brad?
E
I have a standout that I personally like lots of men in here who are self proclaimed mama's boys. And you know what, as a, as a mom of a boy, I hope that Louie would put that on his fun fact.
A
No. When someone says, do you have a great relationship with your mom? You say, absolutely, yeah, I do.
E
But to go out of your way
D
to say I am a mommy, but
A
you don't say I'm a mama.
F
It makes it sound like there's another obstacle. Like, hey, in our relationship we have to consult mom.
D
Mom.
F
Mom's always right.
D
Also, I feel like if it's the other way around and like an adult woman is being like, yeah, I'm a daddy's girl. It's like so like at 36, I feel like your dad pays for everything. And you're yeah, you're still. I mean like again, you can have a great relationship with your dad, but
F
like still is daddy's little girl.
D
Daddy's girl.
F
If these men are in their 30s, going on 40s calling themselves mom as
E
boys, like, no thank you.
A
I will say I, I, Ashley from Love is Blind. I hope help my daughters talk about me the way Ashley talks about her. I love how she talks about her dad, but she's not like, she's not like, I'm a Danny girl exactly. You know, like, you know, she respects her father and loves her father, but doesn't lead with it being her whole identity.
E
I really like Trenton. His dream superpower would be talking to dogs. He lives with a mamba mentality. And his favorite flower is a snapdragon. I don't know what that is, but the flower. The cool thing about him, he's a professional athlete and three time paralympian.
C
Oh, wow.
A
Incredible.
C
Does it say what sport?
E
Well, Nick, what would you pick for your superpower?
A
I've always teleport. Okay, close my eyes. There I am.
D
So that's Trenton.
C
Wait, Mike T. Mike T says he's an Aquaphor addict. Moisturized.
D
Moisturized soft lips maybe.
A
Okay, well, we'll age well. Yeah, for sure.
B
He looks like an Aquaphor addict.
E
One of Shane's fun facts is that if he has something stuck in his teeth, he begs that you tell him that's a fun Fact.
A
Love that open and honest communication. He's also not afraid of direct feedback that you get.
D
Three fun. But also it's like you don't have anything in your teeth. And he's like, no, tell me I have something in my teeth. Like, I promise there's nothing in your teeth.
A
He just like he had a bad experience. He. You know, I have teeth that collects food. Unfortunately, I don't know what it is, but there's something about it. It just holds on.
D
Oh my God.
A
And it's a bit of a high school trauma, but my high school friends would call me Oreo melon.
D
Oh no.
E
Is that what you were always eating?
A
That Conrad looks like Dexter.
B
He does look like Dexter.
D
Wait, where can he dance?
C
Whoops. Wait, guys. I think I know who our villain is this season.
G
Who?
C
And for one reason only. Shane's fun fact is he's a massive Uno enthusiast. Oh, he's going to be playing the house.
B
He's a gamer.
D
You think he's going to be like he's a gamer? Draw 4. Ron thinks reverse ye.
E
Ron has a 9 month old Betta fish and thinks that sloths are just pretending to be slow.
C
I saw him.
A
Yeah, he's a goofer.
E
What?
B
He for sure Trust issues.
D
Do we think his fish is still alive after his stint on the Bachelor.
E
Right. How old is his fish?
A
Trust issues. Ron.
C
Don't joke about the beta.
A
Ron has trust. Trust issues.
B
This man for sure loves the office and thinks he's the first person to ever say that. And I mean that as a compliment.
E
No run of rod. Fun facts is that he admits that it takes him a while to test. Text back.
F
So he's busy.
E
But that I mean. Nope.
A
What's wrong?
E
Text me back immediately.
A
He's honest.
E
No.
B
Shane is hot.
D
I don't subscribe to that.
E
No. My anxiety can't handle it. I'll. I think you're dead.
C
Guys, the flip of the Uno villain is Brandon who says he does not like complex card games. Does not do complex car games. There's your feud.
A
Get him in a room. Get them in a two on one.
B
So he's not leaving one on the
D
mountain to play a game.
E
Richard is thankful for Thanksgiving. I don't know how I feel about that sentence.
B
Kevin. Kevin is happiest when he's well fed and loves to cry while listening to Crash by the Dave Matthews Band.
C
Oof. I like his hair.
D
These photos are kind of giving. They're definitely better than they have been in the past. But it is so crazy how they Just give, like, high school graduation yearbook photos.
E
Really does give yearbook photos.
B
Senior portrait, specifically. Yeah, like a casual senior portrait, though.
F
Could we just put your arm on your knee a little bit?
E
Okay.
F
Lift the chin.
A
No, they need. They need to do one of those. Those things that we do, like the day in the life photo shoots where it's just like, oh, my God, you just caught me drinking a coffee. Am I going into my car, or am I posing for this photo?
D
So true.
C
I think what they're doing is, am
A
I crossing the street looking lovingly at my wife?
D
I don't know if I am into Conrad.
A
He looks exactly like Duck.
C
I think they're leaning into, like, the.
D
No, I don't know if I am.
B
Oh, good.
C
I think they're leaning into, like, the TikTok. TikTok Internet trend of it all for this marketing. This was a trend, wasn't it, of, like, people using AI to, like, look Facebook yearbookie from, like, the 80s or the 90s. I mean, it's a trend.
A
Listen, Hulu's doing. I mean, obviously, Dancing with the Stars has. Has found great success by leaning into the TikTok trends and things like that. So it would. And. And Taylor, Frankie, Paul, obviously.
C
Yeah. I think it makes Tik Tok fame.
A
So it would make a lot of sense that they're leaning into the Internet for sure.
E
Josh loves to indulge in a peanut butter burger.
D
What is that?
F
Peanut butter on top of your burger?
A
I respect that, man. Who's willing to try new things.
D
You want to know the biggest thing that I feel like I crave every pregnancy?
E
What?
A
Yes. Yes.
D
And it is a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with nacho cheese. Doritos. Wait, like, on the side?
B
Like.
F
Or all.
A
No. Yeah, I know.
D
I like to take.
F
I like.
D
I do like to mix in the mouth, but yes, on the side.
E
Okay.
B
All right.
D
Right, okay.
A
Yeah. I mean, honestly, a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, I'm not a big jelly guy, but I'll just go peanut butter. That's just me. But, yeah, putting in something crunchy.
B
Yeah.
A
Like cereal.
F
Cereal.
A
Yeah. Like Christmas.
B
Wait, Natalie, are you going strawberry or grape jelly? This is important.
G
Don't be wrong.
D
I think strawberry.
B
Strawberry.
D
Exactly. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, for sure. Strawberry.
B
For sure. Strawberry with the nacho cheese.
D
But that. Yeah, that really.
E
Grape jelly is disgusting.
H
I.
B
Watch your tongue.
D
Disgusting.
E
Like, I like them all.
B
Watch your tongue.
A

C
Wait, have you guys seen Punch the Monkey?
F
Oh, my God.
D
Yes.
F
I'm literally obsessed.
B
No, I've been waiting for you to explain it to me.
D
I've seen people posting, like, sobbing, crying, talking about Punch the Monkey.
C
Yes.
A
Guys, I don't know if you know this, but I was completely offline playing Madden.
E
I do know this.
B
Heard about it.
E
Started for 36 hours.
F
Heard about it.
B
Yes.
C
This is. This is the emotional whirl to experience. You've seen from start to finish now, so I think you'll have a good plot line to go through. But everybody saw the origins of Punch the Monkey. It's this little baby monkey that was abandoned by its mother and was not being accepted by the other monkeys in the zoo.
A
I did see that a couple days ago, and I kept scrolling because it just. It felt it was too hard of a watch.
C
Oh, my God, it was so hard to watch. They would, like, punch him, drag him.
D
Wait, there's no light at the end of the tunnel for Punch.
H
There is.
G
No.
D
There is, okay?
A
Because honestly, I saw the caption and I was like, I can't.
F
So he kept getting rejected by the monkeys in. In the exhibit. So they kept pushing him away. So the people there that take care of them gave him this. This stuffed animal.
C
He's an orphan. They gave him a stuffed animal, which is a. A monkey stuffed animal from ikea.
D
My heart hurts.
C
And he would literally, like, he brings it around. He hangs out with it. When he would get bullied, he would run to the animal and, like, hug it. And then he also has. There's one specific, like, zookeeper there that he clings onto zoo. So every time the zookeeper goes out there to feed the food, he runs to that person and jumps on him. It's the cutest thing ever. Long story short, now the monkeys accept him. So a lot of people are saying that it took Internet. Like, oh, my God, bullying.
D
That is really fun.
A
You Internet, you don't get credit for this. Like, you're just on the sidelines. Your toxic ass doesn't deserve that.
D
Wait, but I. I love that. Like, he got to have that stuffed animal for himself. Like, I'm glad the other ones didn't try to take it from him.
E
You know, monkeys. Monkeys are humans.
C
It's the cutest thing ever. We had mu dang last year. Now we have punch.
D
Wait, and this guy can never quit like this.
C
Yes. And I think ikea's monkey sold out. Like, it's just. It's a whole phenomenon of people loving punch.
F
And then there's like, this female monkey that, like, he finally, like, bonded with, and she, like, grabs him and scoops him up and just, like, hugs him. And it's just like, the sweetest thing. You're like, oh, my God. Finally. Like, it's just like, the perfect ending.
C
No, but the videos of him dragging the monkey around. Oh, my God, what are they gonna
D
do when this monkey gets so destroyed from being drug around that they have to replace it and everyone has sold out the damn monkey?
E
It already looks pretty rough.
C
Oh, no. I mean, I think IKEA also donated monkeys too.
A
And so. And everyone loves punch, regardless of who does Pilates every day.
C
In love. Yes.
G
Yes.
F
We love his body.
D
Love is grind.
B
Punch is. Yeah.
A
All right, well, I think that means we should get into some Love is blind here, mostly. Should we just start with Chris?
D
I feel like I need to interchange his name with the Kyle Cook rant I went on.
E
Yes, do it. Let's go, let's go.
D
Like, I feel like, honestly, all of my anger has shifted and it is now in the Chris camp. Like, the way that this man tried
A
to, in his words, choose his words carefully, please.
E
Also, can we. Jess is stunning and her body is amazing. And I'm like, what the fuck would
D
he think of me that's making me so sad.
E
Yeah.
D
Like, I feel like Jess should. Obviously, she should know, like, is a baddie. She's a doctor, she's gorgeous, she's fit, like, and she doesn't work out. Like, bitch, you got it made. You know? And, like, I feel bad that everyone is having to be like, oh, Jess, you poor thing, you don't like, you look so good. It's like you have let this man, like, infiltrate her thoughts and make her think that she is anything less than a hundred percent.
B
Yeah.
C
And then he was just like, oh, it was just like a little fight, you know, like a disagreement. And then she blocked.
D
Oh, yeah.
C
And it's like, no, you literally. You were the issue here.
D
Yes.
A
No, he's the reason. I firmly believe this. Chris is the reason why in today's society, we're very angry at a Lot of men about men's behavior. And he is the definition of the bad apple who's out there giving so many women a terrible experience when it comes to men. The way he went about that. Listen, all you have to say, bro, is like, listen, I think I'm into the other person. You know what? Love isn't blind for me.
D
After saying my number two, I realize love is not blind for me. And I realize we don't have the connection. Maybe I thought we did because you
A
are allowed to not have someone be your type. But the fact that he was like, let me choose my words carefully. And he carefully chose the worst words at one point. At one point, he. I don't know how he said it. I don't know what his exact words, but he was describing being intimate with her and saying how he couldn't get it out of his head. Like, he basically is like, if you don't do Pilates every day, which I don't know, and I don't know what that person looks like, but also, like, my dick won't work. He was basically saying that he is having performance anxiety because he can't think of anything else. I mean, like, that's also. That's him choosing his word carefully.
G
And then.
A
And then when she goes. When she's like, well, now I. I'm. This is upsetting to hear. And I don't. He. And he was like, like, why? He was basically like, why? Yeah, why are you getting upset? Wait, you stupid idiot. Like, what the fuck is your problem? Like, I'm just. I'm just being fucking honest here. Like, huh?
F
He said, I'm so sorry I'm not physically attracted to you, but I think we have a lot of fun together. And then she's like, well, I don't think I can be fun right now. And he's like, why not?
A
Yeah.
F
Are you kidding?
A
What's your fucking problem?
D
Sorry. You just, like, made me question everything.
E
The fact that he's going around telling everyone at the mixer that, like, well, I would be willing to keep going if she was willing. It's like, what are you talking about?
A
Yeah, well, what he's doing in that moment is the classic guy move. He is like, he is the guy who's.
G
He's.
A
I guarantee you, you. He reads books about. About pickup artists. I would bet anything he reads those types of books. Guarantee it. And he does the. And every guy does this to a certain extent, but he obviously just wanted to end it, which is fine. End the relationship. But he's trying to Paint himself as the victim and he's trying to get her to break up with him. And he is just trying to be shitty about it and just be, you know, he's trying to do all the things that make her go, well, I don't want to date you. So he can be like, well, I try.
D
No, now he just doesn't want to seem like the bad guy. So he's like, well, and I was gonna like. But she doesn't want to now, so like, that's on her.
A
She's like, done with me. So there's like nothing really to do.
D
Also, the way that this man has the, like, in the negatives sex appeal about him and he is like the most vocal about, like, I just always try to give it like the best I've ever had and like, be the best for anyone who ever. You are sick, nasty and like, I am so sorry that Jess even had to pretend like she enjoyed having sex with you.
C
Uh huh. The second he started talking to Bri and was like, like, so was it the best sex you've ever had? Like, I could be better. It was like, this is gross.
G
Yeah.
C
Like, this is not.
A
And then have you guys seen the photo flying around on the Internet about his, like, his LinkedIn, his, like his model shot his Instagram?
D
In what world was Chris a model? Like, I feel like this was his.
A
Like, he hired a guy.
D
Yeah, he just like hired someone to take some pictures of him. And what's crazy is that they said in the episode that like, he didn't have social media and that after this breakup with Jess, he made an Instagram account to like, DM Bri and then was posting pictures in a strip club with like a stripper on his. First of all, I feel like those are like breaking the rules of strip clubs. I don't feel like you can like, take photos in a strip club.
A
No, it's giving. He got rid of an old profile. It's giving. He's trying to. He's. It's giving. I don't want people to find out about my past.
D
If that is a photo that I see of a man and then I see that, that man Chris that we've been watching on television walk through the door like, you've. You've been catfish.
C
That photo is giving though.
E
Like, he looks like Lucas Bravo.
C
It's the trend where people used AI to make them look like gods and stuff.
D
You know, if he is using an AI made photo as a profile picture, we have like bigger issues on her hands.
C
Especially when he has this cast photo that's creating AI. Yeah.
F
And can I just say, on top of Crisp, outside of the female thing, I felt so bad for Connor because I'm like, it sounds like, like, Chris texted Connor after his breakup, and then it's like, they're actually friends and into the bathroom and talks shit about him. Like, what, I'm going to get Bri and what, is he going to fight me?
E
Also, Connor is so much hotter than Chris, and in personality and looks and everything.
B
You know, Chris is the kind of guy that in love is blind specifically will do this to me more than any other show. But Chris really specifically is like, I am so glad that I have no intention on experiencing the touch of a man anytime soon.
D
I will say I'm. I am also a little bit frustrated in the conversation that he had with Ashley, Priyanka, and Bri where he's, like, telling them the story of what happened, and they're all kind of like, well, that's okay. Well, you can, like, knowing Jess's side of it all and, like, not any of them having Jess's back.
E
I will say Bri was. It was good that she sent because Jess said that Bri sent her the screenshot or, like, told her that he DM'd slid into her DM's.
D
I hope it was Bri. She just said a girl.
E
I think it was Bri. But either way. Either way, the way that she was speaking to Chris, the way that it was edited, at least it looked like she was entertaining it or enjoying the conversation that they were having, and she was not shutting it down.
C
I hope it was the editing.
E
I. I do, too, because.
D
But because it also, like, if she did, she did not stick up for her man. Not once. Like, you've got this guy being like, he's not dominant enough. He's so submissive. Like, you're gonna be unhappy. And not once did we have have her being like, hey, I'm happy. I'm good. I don't need you to, like, try to come for my man. Like, I'm. We're in a good place.
G
Yeah.
D
Not once. Maybe they cut it out.
F
Yeah.
E
He even said. He even asked her, like, is it the best sex you've ever had? Like, if. If you're talking about your fiance, I don't care if it's the best sex you've ever had or not. If you're talking to another man who you have a history with and they ask you that question, he is the best I have ever in my life had. He it blows me away. He's fantastic.
F
You could say.
E
Oh, no, like, not best, but it's deep.
D
Good.
E
I guess he's your fiance and you're
D
talking to your ex. Yeah, that was frustrating.
A
Anyway, another wild conversation was Emma and the whole kid conversation. You know, it's a fascinating conversation because obviously it really, you know, I think her story is, I mean, fascinating in general that being adopted. And she's been very open about, you know, all the, you know, feelings she has about having kids. Kids. I just never heard a parent on camp, like it's recorded. And she was like, I love my kids, but if I could do it over again, I wouldn't have kids.
D
Crazy.
A
And I mean, again, I, I appreciate the honesty, but like, that they're going to be playing that tape with their therapists coming up. How do you, how do you explain that one to the kids? Yeah, you know, but also, you know, obviously the kids conversation is very sensitive for people. Well, I, I think on both sides, but like, I think it's, you know, if, if someone's struggling with, hey, do I want to have kids? I don't want to have kids. I think sometimes as parents who enjoy being parents, they can be a little pushy when it comes to, like, their positive experience. And like, sometimes you don't want to do that. On the flip side, though, like, the doom, like, I couldn't imagine what it would be like to be on the fence whether I want to have kids or not and have a parent being like, kind of regret it, you know, like, and then someone like, they'll ruin your vacation. I mean, I guess, I don't know, like, we had a really lovely time with river in Mexico, you know, like.
E
Yeah. I will say though, I, I, I love Mike. I do like him, but I do feel like he's pushing it a little too far. Obviously, Emma knows that she needs to make some sort of decision here because he needs an answer before they get married. But like, even him making that comment when the kids were around being like, see, doesn't that do anything for you?
A
Don't you put on some sl. A wedding two weeks away.
E
I mean, they're, yeah, but she knows, like, she's aware. I think they, I think they both are aware.
A
But we all agree that regardless of whatever, like, having kids for any couple is, is, is a non negotiable topic. You either want them or you don't. And I think they're having a lot of great conversations on the show about this conversation, which is like, it's not something you hope people change, right? Like, because you don't want to have that person resent this decision and things like that. That. So they're being really honest about. Hey, we signed up for the show. Part of this experiment is to, if we get to the end, to literally get married, not engaged, like on the Bachelorette, where we can be like, let's see. To literally get married. So they have to get to the bottom of this decision, whether they both want to have kids or not want to have kids. And, you know, I. Is he pushing it? Sure. I'm guessing in the real world, he'd be like, yeah, no, we can. We'll tackle that.
D
Yeah, yeah.
A
I don't need to get to that right now. Like, we'll date for a while. It's great. You know, I don't need this answer. But he does need an answer, and they both need an answer, for sure. And the struggle with her is that she is unsure what she wants. You know, she's. And that makes it even more difficult because it's not like she's like, listen, I just don't want to. I don't want to have kids.
F
But I also think that, like, maybe this experiment for her has opened her eyes because it felt like she kind of had the realization about the surgeries and everything with him that, like, that was what was stopping her from wanting to have kids, where it's very easy for somebody. I used for the longest time when I was a teenager that I was like, I never want to have kids, but I had a rough childhood that I was like, I would never put onto my kids what my parents did to me. So I understand her point of view from that, and I also think it was a very interesting thing that nobody was really listening to her because the friend and everyone was like, oh, kids are hard. Da, da, da. You've never wanted them. So, like, I think they're trying to be protective in the idea that they don't want her mind changing after a couple of weeks of being with this guy. But to her point, she said, I'm allowed to change my mind. And I was like, nobody's listening to her. Where she said, like, I. Things have come up that she didn't realize is the reason why she felt the way she did so strongly about not having kids and with having a partner that will go with her and get these tests done and understand what she's going through. Then it all of a sudden makes it more of a reality versus, like, well, I went through this, and I've suffered through this alone, and I've never had somebody on my side before, so I think that this has definitely opened her eyes to the possibility of, like, what it could be to have a family.
E
Yeah, that's a great way to put it.
A
It was interesting that her parents didn't realize her. It was her dad who was like, oh, is that. That's part of the reason? Like, he wasn't aware of that.
F
Yeah, I don't think she was aware of it either, though. I think she just, like, felt like she struggled alone. She know she's fitting into a family and whatnot, and, you know, feeling different with her scars. And, like, you saw how hard it was for her to open up about the scars. That I'm just like. I think that she realized a lot about herself and why she didn't want to have kids or why she wasn't open to the idea beforehand because she's never had a conversation with someone who made her feel comfortable with the idea of having.
D
Having kids.
A
Yeah.
G
Yeah.
E
That changes how I feel about Mike, I guess.
A
So, Alex, bad news or just a guy who just hasn't quite found himself and, you know, just maybe not ready to settle down? Maybe not ready to get married, Maybe. I think growing up today, I think
D
he's like a shapeshifter.
C
I think sometimes parents know best.
E
Yep.
F
I. Yeah, I. I'm.
E
I think the dad's radar is the way he's.
D
I think that conversation with Ashley where she's like, can we just, like, talk about, like, your past relationships? Like, you know, I. Like, I'm not trying to grill you any. I'm just, like, curious. And then caught him literally being like, yeah, cheated on one with the other. And she's like, wait, so in September, you were dating her, but you also went to Texas to see the other girl you were hooking up with? And the way that his brain was like, holy fuck, how do I get out of this? It was like, I, like, wanted, like, to shake Ashley and be like, trust your gut. Like, you just felt it. Like, this man just feels like such a Ponzi scheme to me.
F
Yes. Yes. No, Mad.
B
That's a perfect way to.
D
Yeah.
A
When I was watching that scene, I was kind of, like, multitasking, you know? His tone. You're almost like, yeah, no, you know, all right. You know, because if you're not really paying attention to the details, it kind of sounds like he always sells it as normal. So if you're not really listening, you're kind of like, yeah, yeah, sure.
D
He was like. And also it was like a situationship. Like, we weren't even, like, dating. Like, I asked her if she wanted to date, and she did. Even if, like, we were together together, like, it wasn't cheating.
E
So we hooked up, but we weren't together.
A
What I do remember is that he emphasized that this is, in fact, the truth, and he did it in a way that makes me go, you don't tell the truth a lot because you really want points for this one. You know, it's like.
D
And this is me being honest.
A
Yeah.
F
And the job situation for me reminded me of Jax Taylor getting a job offer in Florida when he was. After he cheated with right now, where it was just like, he was like, well, I could have a coaching job in Arizona. I can also have. I also have a contract coming in Florida. If you have a contract coming in Florida, you wouldn't even be considering a on contract in Arizona. But it's like, I've never met a man that's got six different options of a job that he can go anywhere and he's employed.
B
Anytime a man is telling you he's considering moving to Florida run.
A
I. I still think there's a world where maybe not next year or today that. Well, I think, like, Chris. Chris seems like a. Like a not a good guy, like, you know what I'm saying? Like, to go on the show like this and think you can fool everyone, but you're so toxic. Toxic in so many ways. It just. It just oozes out of it. You. And my hope for Alex is that he's just like a late bloomer, as many young men in today's world are. And he's. He's certainly had a difficult life. I think it is difficult not knowing who your dad is and, like, you know, shout out to his mom, the truck driver who's, like, raised him. But I'm hoping for the best of him, and I think. I hope that he learns that he doesn't have to shape shift and he doesn't have to, like, storytell to get people to love like him. But, like, my hope for him is that he's. He's not a bad guy. He's just not a finished product.
C
I was gonna say the mom's conversation was pretty humanizing for me.
A
Yeah.
C
Like, just her perspective and how she's saying. I just hope that, like, even the soccer part, whatever you want to say about it, her being like, you know, that was his everything. I just hope that eventually it can, like, give back to him.
A
Oh, sure.
C
That was a different.
A
Yeah, I Mean, if you don't play sports, I think it's easy to mock him talking about soccer and obsessing over the soccer and the storyline. But, like, if you know any athlete who's committed their whole life to this one thing, I mean, quite honestly, like, a lot of athletes have some serious mental health struggles trying to make that transition from dedicating their entire life to this one thing, having some of their dreams not become a reality and having to find new purpose in life. It's a real thing.
E
Yeah. I think when you put Alex next to Chris, Alex doesn't seem so bad, truly.
A
All right, well, more episodes will be coming out soon, and we will be watching and talking along with y'. All. But right now, get ready to have some fun with the very, very hilarious comedian Danae Hayes. Danae, welcome to the show.
G
What's up, y'? All?
A
How you doing?
D
So excited.
G
I'm good. I'm so excited.
A
I'm excited to have my wife's Southern accent.
G
Oh, it's gonna come through.
D
It comes out.
G
Especially knowing you're from Auburn. It's got to come through.
D
It comes out. And I just spent the past weekend in Georgia, so it, like, was really out, and river was with us, and my sister says, purdy, Purdy. And so she was. We're going around the farm, and she was like, look, that Purdy horse. And Southern river was like, purdy.
A
Like, yes.
D
It's so cute.
G
Does your family say far instead of fire?
D
No, they say fire. Well, they say oil and not oil.
G
Yeah. Or ass. Yeah, yeah.
C
Ass. Ass.
A
Oil Throws me. I'm always like, what?
G
You know, my family's like, look at that far over there.
A
It's real far. Then your girlfriend's from my hometown.
G
I found out she is. I know. And she is just like, her accent is non existent. Y' all actually speak the way I think English was intended. Intended. You'll enunciate every once in a while.
A
Yeah, every once in a while, I'll say something.
D
Like, I have to say, as river gets older, it is getting harder and harder to feed her. I feel like she's just getting pickier and pickier. And honestly, it makes meal time just a little stressful. So we've really been leaning on Little Spoon because Little Spoon is a brand that I depended on. When she had first started with purees, and we're getting into solids, I really leaned on Little Spoon because I trust their ingredients. They don't compromise on ingredients, nutrition, transparency, or even safety. And it makes meal time that much easier. At our house, the big hit lately is the grass fed Beef Meatball Biteables. River thinks it's basically meatballs with mini Mac and cheese and we love that it's loaded with hidden veggies like butternut squash and carrots. It's also so fun for me to just open up the freezer and for her to pick whichever one she wants because they're all like colorful and cute and aesthetically pleasing. And she has fun picking out which one she wants. The biteables are cut to size, pinchable meals that make the transition to table food feel easy. Supporting self feeding skills, pallet expansion, real nutrition at the same time, with 100 plus ingredients banned across the board, I don't have to overthink labels or second guess what I'm serv. It's already been thought through for me and that confidence makes all the difference. Feeding the kids doesn't have to be complicated. Little Spoon makes it easy with real nutritionally balanced meals and snacks designed for every stage. It shows up ready to go, takes the pressure off and somehow still gets devoured, veggies and all. No artificial dyes, flavors or sweeteners either. And you know what? G
Locker.
A
Someone told me, I said it weird.
G
Locker.
D
He says roof. Which I feel like is definitely.
H
Yeah.
A
How do you say it?
G
Roof. Yeah. Yeah. When I moved out to California, there was a guy out there and he kept saying like I need to get my roof looked at. And I didn't know what the he was talking about. And then finally I realized, oh, can we say the F word on here?
A
Oh yeah.
C
Okay.
G
Okay.
B
Cool, cool, cool.
G
I don't know if we could say the word or not.
D
You can see it.
A
I do we every once in I I am trying to make an attempt to swear less because we consider ourselves a family show.
G
Well, my family, we did say that a lot. So I feel very much at home using the F word.
A
And I'm pretty sure our daughter is going to.
G
Now, my grandmother's made it very clear I'm to stop saying G.D. so I put. I took that out over a year ago.
A
But she's okay with the.
G
She's okay. Well, she doesn't like it.
D
He's God's name in vain.
G
No, you cannot. So I took that out and she's. She hasn't moved churches since, so she's very excited about that.
C
Thank go.
D
Has she been to one of your shows?
G
Yeah, unfortunately. She's 82, and I asked her on my first run. I was like, can you please just not come to the first couple of shows? Let me get my legs underneath me. My cousin Tammy decided to bring my grandmother. And my last set, which was a lot different than my new set, was very crude. We were talking about, like, you know, I'm a raging homosexual. And I was talking about the first time I gave a big bj, and my grandmother's sitting on the front row.
D
Oh, no.
G
So it was just direct eye contact for an hour and 15 minutes.
A
I'm not familiar with that story.
G
Well, it's a pretty. It's a pretty quick one. He pretty much grabbed me by my arms and said, this is when, you know, you're bad at it. Like, how can a BJ be bad?
C
Right?
G
It's like saying, candy's bad, you know?
D
Right. Like we've all had a popsicle.
A
Right? Right.
G
And he. For me, it was just like playing twist it, bop it, pull it. I didn't know what I was doing.
A
It's definitely hit or miss. I was definitely there, you know. You know, there have been a couple of times, you know, like, you know what? We can skip that.
G
That's what he did. He grabbed me by my arms, pulled me up, and he said, we don't have to do that anymore. And I was like, I'm so competitive. I was like, no, sir, I'm finishing and so are you.
H
Okay.
D
And did your grandma have anything to say after your show?
G
She was just like, I didn't know you did that. I said, yeah, Grandma gave it my best shot before I committed, you know, to becoming a full time homosexual.
D
So then I had to try it out. Yeah, my best try.
G
I had to give it a whirl.
A
I did see a clip where a lovely grandmother brought her grandson to the show.
G
What the hell? It clearly says on the tickets, 18 or older. And she brought a 1212 year old. So I had to give Him a code word. Once we got to that portion of the show, I was like, look buddy, you go to the back of the room. When it's done, you can come back up. And then I forgot to give him the code word. So he just stood back there the whole show.
A
Did you check in afterwards?
G
I took a picture with him.
B
Okay.
G
For HR purposes. Yeah.
A
Well, the scary part is probably you probably haven't said anything or taught him anything he hasn't already heard online.
G
Yeah, that's the thing about these, these younger kids. I sound like my grandma when I say that. But like these younger kids are exposed, expose to everything now and it's kind of scary, terrifying. And they're in the know too. Like I even made a joke. And after I made it in front of him, I was like, you'll learn about that later. And he was like, I know what you're talking about. And I'm just like, that's cr. Chat roulette was my only source of learning that. I don't know if y' all were on chat roulette.
D
I was on Justin. What was the chat room?
C
Omegle.
D
Yes. Omegle.
G
Yeah.
C
What's that?
B
Omegle.
D
No, you'd like, you'd like randomly FaceTime people and it would.
A
No, it was honestly around the world,
G
it was just flipping through. It was like Tinder, but like live Tinder.
A
So we were so naive and we didn't realize the dangers of the Internet.
G
And it was always like 12 year old little girls on there. And like my dad walked into the kitchen one day because, you know, our home computer, I feel like we all had a home computer.
B
Right.
G
I was like, what the hell are you doing? I was like, this is Fred.
H
Yeah.
G
He's like, who the is Fred? And I was like, he, he lives in Utah is what he's telling me. Why is Fred's pants off?
H
I don't know.
D
I don't know. He wanted to show me his tattoo on his thigh.
G
I was like, oh, this isn't good.
A
It's terrifying. Our daughter's never going to have a phone.
G
No, I know.
D
It's so scary.
G
Yeah, it's awful scary.
D
She now, I mean, we like, we have an iPad. It's my iPad. But we only ever use it when we're like on airplanes and traveling to like watch Little Mermaid or whatever. So like she only thinks that it works when we travel.
G
That's smart.
D
You know, it's like, this doesn't work at home.
G
Yeah.
D
What are you talking about?
G
We need to remember that Jen, let's remember that.
A
Except you know, mom and dad are sometimes on their phone too much.
G
Right? Yeah.
A
Yeah, we're better than most.
D
But it is crazy how fast like she'll have my phone and she'll be looking at like what? Nothing. You know like a picture or something in a text will come through and she just knows to like she knows how to swipe.
C
It's crazy.
G
Wild.
A
That's our fault.
D
That is our fault.
B
Yeah.
G
Like my, my other niece is 13 years old and she wants to be a beauty influencer and I was as the tick tock or I'm trying to teach her about TikTok and she's like no, I know all this. I know how to operate the interface.
A
She's like, you're playing catch up.
H
Yeah.
G
Like she's like actually then they take notes.
D
This is. You need to teach you a few things.
G
Yeah.
D
Are you the cool aunt?
G
I think so. I don't know. I, I hope I am. I know that they, they always want to spend time with me but they're just so, they're different than, than I was as a kid. I, I always wanted to be like outside in the woods and playing and like you know, making forts and they're like let's do a get ready with me. And I'm like I wear the same outfit every day. I'm ready.
C
Yeah.
D
There's no getting.
G
I'm here.
H
Yeah, I came.
G
Yeah, this is it.
D
I know it is wild. We're. My, my sister has an 11 year old daughter so she was there this weekend with us and like I was like come on let's like get outside and let's go do something. And her, she like took river up to her room and it's just like to see a toddler in like a big kid room and all of the big kid toys, you know. It was like this, this is soon to come. Like this is so I wasn't up there with her for a minute. Like I let river go up there and play by herself and all I heard her was just like singing to herself and she was like having so much fun and I was like river, what are you doing? She's like mom, I pan horses.
G
Like okay, so cute. Yeah. My, my niece sent me a picture. I asked her the other day in person, I was like, what do you think your first car is? Like what do you want it to be? And she sends me a picture of a murdered out G1 wagon and I was like haha, we can dream right? And she's like, no, no. This influencer, she drives it. I think it was Tiana. And I was like, yeah, so you're getting like a 1999 Volkswagen Bug.
D
Yeah, yeah. You're getting a Camry that you gotta re. You gotta carry a jug of water.
A
That is my. That is my dream car.
G
I heard they rock. Now, listen, I'm never gonna have. I could just be hating right now because I'll probably never bought one, but I heard they ride like a bucking bronco. You know, that's just what I've heard.
H
Not.
D
Not cozy.
G
Yeah, they're not cozy. I heard, I heard. You know, did you.
A
Did you grow up in a bronco?
G
Yeah, we did, my girls. It rides like a bronco.
A
It does ride like a bronco.
G
And she's got a soft top on.
D
She should.
G
And I want it to have a hard top because the whole time you're trying to have a conversation in the cab, she's like, but I can't say anything because a 19 year old just hit me head on going 50 miles an hour.
A
Hour.
G
And like, put $20,000 for the damage on my Tundra. Now, granted, I was safe. I got a concussion, but yeah, it. He nailed me, dude. He. And then he got out of the car and he was so aggressive. He was like, what the. And I was like, I was parked.
D
You tell me.
G
I was parked. And he was like, this was a. This was my fifth accident in one year. I cannot have another one. And I'm like, how do you have insurance?
A
So it's your fault. Yeah, yeah.
G
Period.
A
You should probably stop talking.
G
Yeah, I just sat over there and was just taking notes for the police. I was like the fifth wreck in one year.
D
So you were parked and he came.
G
I was pulling out of a Walgreens and so the. The front end of my car was stopped in the turning lane because these kind people had let me out. And as I was looking over my shoulder, because nobody was coming this way. And I was. I was looking over my shoulder, nobody was coming. So I was about to let off the brake when he nailed me. And. And yeah, that's. I felt like I'd taken five Lexapro because I was in shock because it just. It gave me a concussion. And I know when the police were there, they were like, have you been drinking? And I was like, no, I just. I just got nailed, dude.
D
Like this.
A
The airbags go off and everything.
G
Thank God they didn't because apparently that like, depreciates the car by like another 20%. And my truck's brand new. And to look there and just see the guts of my truck hanging out.
A
Did Mr. 5 accidents in a Year have car insurance?
G
He did. Thank God. Probably by the general, you know, he probably had to call Shaq and be like, hey, are we still good, bro?
C
Yeah.
G
He's like, yeah, that's why you pay 19amonth.
A
I'm always fascinated when. When we're talking to comics like you. I'm just like, how do you got your start? Is that something you always thought about doing? I was looking back. You played softball at Alabama.
G
Yeah.
A
Were you like, in college being like, you know what? I'm going to get done with the softball thing and become a stand up comedian?
G
No, I was definitely, definitely not at Bama thinking about being a comedian. My coach was constantly up my ass, like, having private meetings with me, being like, you need to settle down. You are so immature. My teammates were constantly telling me to, like, grow the up. And I was just more concerned about creating videos. And this was before, like, tick tock and Instagram. I was just always trying to create funny sketches and stuff just so that I could send it to my mom and be like, how funny is this?
C
You know?
G
Know. And then I graduated and I did some sports broadcasting for the SEC network. That was okay, but they kept. The producer was always in my ear being like, hey, this isn't Saturday Night Live. Please talk about softball. I was like, but we want more viewers, right? And then I did pharmaceutical sales and had a pervy guy that I worked with. So I was like, this is lame.
A
How did you meet your girlfriend, if you don't mind me asking?
G
We met at a party through a mutual friend. And then, then once I was divorced, you know that usually you need to get divorced before you start dating. That's always a good thing to do. After I was divorced, then I met her again at the ACM Awards. And at that point, my brain of, like, being attracted to people had turned back on because I was married, you know? And then when I saw her, I was like, yeah, there's no way she's gonna date a girl that looks like Wayne's World. She's probably not even gonna date a girl. So I was like, yeah, I'm just gonna flirt with. I'm just gonna flirt with her for a little while, you know?
A
Would never think that looking at you. But then you say it.
G
I know.
A
Like, you know what?
G
You're like, that's it.
D
Like the most beautiful.
A
Like, the hottest. Yeah, the hottest.
G
Like the most. Wayne's World. Bring it on. Yeah. We started talking and I was like, I'm obsessed with her. And then here we are nine months later and still I think I'm more obsessed with her right now than I was the first week. Like in bed, I just, I can't get close enough to her. Like I have to wrap my leg around her, I have to squeeze her
D
and do y' all do like the foot thing?
G
Oh, hell yeah, I do the foot thing. I'm so footsy with her.
D
That is the best part of being in bed. Did you miss. He spent the weekend without me this weekend. So he got to sleep in.
A
I play a lot of video games.
F
He played a lot of video games.
A
Well, now he's pregnant with twins.
G
Yes. You've been doing work, son.
A
We spend a lot of time together. Together. Which I love. We spend all our time together. And so this was like, I'm like, I, I may never have this four days like this alone.
C
Right?
A
And I didn't, I took full advantage.
G
I tried the whole video game thing because like I grew up playing PlayStation 2, you know, and then I got a PlayStation 5.
A
And it's advanced.
G
Yeah, it's advanced. But what I didn't know is that I was playing with other people. Mostly 12 year old douchebag kids and Florida and they were all wearing like fake grills and, and they were calling me a. And I was just like, whoa. I got on here to literally play Halo and I'm being accosted by 12 year old gangsters in Fort Lauderdale.
D
Like I got on here to have fun, guys. This is not fun.
G
Apparently I have a gay voice for a girl because they just kept calling me. They kept saying that I was their PE teacher and I was just like, how do you know I'm gay? Like, I bet you're sitting at home right now in a dick sporting good outfit. And I'm like, I am. I was like, I literally just bought in your. Hey dudes. I'm like, whoa. How did they know that? Is there a camera in my living room right now? I did go, don't judge me. But I did go to a four day Tony Robbins seminar event, like in person. Like, bring your notebook. You're not going to go to the bathroom. You're going to have to pee in your pants. Like you're going to sit here for 12 hours for four days.
A
How was that?
G
I came out of the closet on day four and I'm not y'. All. I literally went in trying to grow my business at the time. Like I, I, I Went thinking it was going to help my business. And I literally called my mom and like, posted an Instagram, like, coming out story, like, on day four. And I was like, whoa.
D
Tony was like, wait a minute.
A
He was like, whoa, whoa, whoa.
G
We didn't say that's what this was for. Yeah, it was wild. Wow.
D
Shout out, Tony.
G
Literally, Tony. And then we walked. I mean, I sound like a psychopath right now saying it out loud, but we walked on fire on day four in the parking lot.
A
That's what you do.
G
Yeah. And if he would have offered me Kool Aid, I probably would have drank it. My whole family were ex Mormon, believe it or not. And we're no longer in the Tony Robbins cult, so we're easy to Ex Mormon. Yeah, Well, I mean, I'm not actually ex Mormon, but.
A
Who.
G
Family was from Salt Lake City and they just popped kids out left and right. And then they moved to Alabama, got here on a Greyhound. Yeah, that's when you know the cult's bad, is when you take a Greyhound.
A
It's our only way out. You have to stop at every city,
G
every city on the way. Yeah.
A
Yeah. I learned that in high school. I went to Missoula, Montana on a Greyhound.
G
Was it nice? That seems like a good place to go.
A
It was. My. My friend from high school moved out there. It was honestly like. Like, can't. You would. What's. That's what's crazy. It's like you say that out loud and I. That I would never let me, like,
G
get on a gray helm by yourself.
A
Well, that are our kids someday, right?
G
Yeah.
A
But it is true. The predators are online. They're not in the real world.
G
No.
A
Just remember that. And it was like a life changing experience. It was like really cool. Me and my three other buddies and people came on, people got off. We met families. It was played cards. It was.
G
That's kind of a fun podcast traveling idea where you do a podcast on the back.
D
You, like, interview people who get on.
B
Yeah.
D
It's like. Cause every time you're in an airport, you're like, I wonder where everyone's going.
G
Yeah.
A
I do always like to look at. Oh, yeah. Europe.
G
Yeah. I just did that yesterday on the way home from Charlotte. I think somebody was going to, like, Fort Wayne, Indiana, and I was like, huh?
A
Why?
G
I wonder why.
H
Yeah.
D
What you got going on?
G
What are they doing there?
D
I being back home with my family. My aunt came over the first night that I was there and. And she had her and her husband, my uncle mark, he's about 7 2. So we call him Tree.
G
Wait, he's like, for real? Seven foot two.
A
Big guy.
D
Big guy. And they were at the Mexican restaurant down the street, and she came over after, you know, I'm sure having won too many margaritas, he dropped her off, he went back home. And she comes in, and she's like, I have to tell y' all this story about what happened at the Mexican joint. And we're like, oh, my gosh, what happened? And she's like, we were just sitting there finishing our drinks, and all of a sudden, a bowl of salsa lands on our table. These two guys behind us are fighting. They're.
B
Scroll.
D
They're on the ground. They're fighting. They're going crazy. Tree, my lifesaver, he tells them, hey, you better stop acting like kids. Get it together. They're all.
G
He's.
D
He's saving the day. Then he grabs one by the head, slams them on the table, pulls out his hair. Someone's like, oh, my God, there's the DNA. Call the police. Police, she said, we went back to his truck, and we have never made out like that before. We were all like, oh, my God, this is crazy.
G
Like, what was this in Auburn?
D
This is in Savannah.
G
Oh, my God, that's amazing.
D
And so then my uncle comes over, like, two days later. We're all cooking, having a family dinner, and she was. She wasn't there yet. He came by himself, and we were like, oh, my. He. So then he starts telling us the story, too. We're like, oh, we know. We heard. Then you, like, hit him.
A
Just happened.
G
Yeah.
D
We're like, you hit his head on the table and you pull. He's like, oh, I didn't. I didn't do any of that. We're like, huh? She's like, I told him to stop acting like kids and fighting.
G
She romanticized this in her head.
D
We were like. We heard. The whole restaurant was chanting hero at you. And he's like, that did not happen.
G
None of that happened. None of that happened.
D
We're like, you didn't get back to the truck and make out? He's like, no.
G
Oh, yeah.
C
She.
G
In her mind. She was in a rom com.
A
What is she reading these days?
D
I don't know, but I'm like, that's just so funny. Like, the difference in how you tell stories to, like, for sure. That was like. So me and, I don't know, middle school or something, being like, y' all will never guess what my. My friend brought over. She brought over a smart board from school, and we all played on it and Hannah Montana came, and it's like, no same.
G
I know any. Anytime something happens in my life, I look at it through, like, the lens of, like, a comedian, and it's like, yes, it did happen this way, but the way my brain perceives it is so much funnier. Like, when Jen almost hit the guy crossing the road, we were like, 30 yards away, but I swear she accelerated and honked on the horn to let him know, you can't do that. If I had a camera in the car, it probably didn't go anything like that, you know? Yeah, but I just see things differently in, like, colors almost.
D
It's art and storytelling, you know, the
A
art and the story, and that's essentially what you're. What you do on stage.
G
Pretty much. Yeah.
A
You're just telling your story.
G
You're just telling stories. Yeah, I would say I'm more of a. A storyteller comic. Like, it's less like, you know, like, quick punchlines. Yeah, it's more of, like, there's jokes throughout the story, but it. It's. It's definitely a storytelling show versus just like, what's.
A
What's one that you. When people recognize you, they're. That's the story they connect with the most.
G
I would say it's probably. Probably either. My first viral prank phone call during the pandemic where I called a taxidermist and asked him if he'd stuff my dog. And I thought I would, like, really stump him. But the problem is I called an Alabama taxidermist, so he was like, yeah,
D
sure, yeah, Somebody's uncle.
G
Yeah, literally. He was like, where. Where's he at right now? And I was like, he's in the deep freezer. He was like, you've done everything right. You know, I was like, oh, okay. He was like, do you want me to come pick him up or you want to bring him down here? And I was like, I'd rather bring to you because I don't want my daughter seeing him.
A
You just kept trying to one up.
D
It just got more normal.
G
He was like, okay, we'll just strap him on the back, you know, I was just like, what the hell is going on? Yeah, so it's definitely. It's definitely when people see me in person, it's usually the. The prank phone calls.
D
How do you prepare for going on stage?
G
I usually like being for real. I have to about three times before I go on stage, and then once that's happened, then I was definitely not expecting that. Yeah, no, it's.
D
But, like, the system's clear.
G
It doesn't matter if I just ate air, ice, and water before. I'm gonna have to go to the bathroom. And then I'm just gonna run through not really my punchlines, but more of, like, one word that. I know what that means. And once I've gotten through all those words, then I'm good to go.
D
Do you, like, kind of tie in some of your. Like, are you, like. What is it called?
A
A callback?
D
Are you doing some callbacks? Yeah, there's. Have you ever, like, forgotten. You know when you're telling a story and you're like, oh, that was. Hold on, I forgot a good part. Wait, let me go.
G
Yeah, once. Once you've forgotten it, they don't need to know you forgot it. You just get on to the next one. Because early on in my career, I
A
was, like, pulled out notes.
G
Oh, yeah. I was like, whoa, wait a minute. And then you try to go back, and it's like you missed it. Yeah.
A
Do you like, stage work, interacting with the crowd, or do you find that distracting?
G
Yeah, there's certain times where I'll strategically put it in, but I. What I don't love is when you're in the middle of getting your joke out, and then somebody yells something that has nothing to do with what you're saying, and they've yelled it now three times, and you feel like you have to acknowledge them, and now you've forgotten where you were in the joke.
A
I've always wondered. I. You know, I've been to comedy shows in my life, and I just. What makes someone do that? Have you ever, like, talked to. To someone post show? Yeah, they're drunk. It's okay. That's all it is.
G
Last night, I went to a show. It was a book tour for Bunny, and I was sitting there, and there was a really drunk lady next to me, and she just kept doing it over and over and over. And I was watching her, and she was just hammered.
D
Yeah.
G
So when you're drunk, you have a hard time following the rules, you know?
A
Well, before we let you go, we all. We love a good TV show. And I know you're not watching reality tv, but you are watching. You finished his and Hers.
G
His and hers? Yeah.
A
On Netflix.
G
Without giving it away.
D
A lot of twists and turns.
G
So many.
A
Wait, I mean, if it's like, it's been out for a while.
D
It has been out for a while. If you haven't watched it yet, watch
A
it, like, turn this.
D
Skip.
A
Yeah, skip this part.
G
I mean, the mom, the Mom. The mom. I was. I did not. I. I thought the whole time, and probably because they wanted me to. I thought it was the lead actress. You know, she was. She was always there.
A
Yeah.
G
But the mom. I thought that was one of the best shows I've seen in probably a year, was really good. Also. I have some tea for y' all if you want to talk about reality.
A
We love to.
G
So Farmer wants a wife, right?
A
Yeah.
G
Yeah. So I don't think he had the same vibes. I don't. His name's Brett, Right. Y' all know Brett on Farmer wants a wife. So after my divorce, I was like, know you. You know what? I've never dated a man before. Maybe. Maybe this will be the man. Right. So him and I started playing golf together. I think in his mind, he was just playing golf with Wayne's World. Like, in my mind, though, I was
D
like, I'm trying something new.
G
We might be getting married.
D
Yeah.
G
And then I realized really quickly that I. I think we were just like two brothers, you know? So I'm saying that. First time publicly, Brett, if you're working, watching, I thought you were really cute. And then he did tell me he believed in Bigfoot, and I was like, that's where I have to draw the line right there.
D
So what was it? Do you feel like that really made it obvious to you that maybe y' all weren't on the same page?
G
Probably when he never flirted back with me, that was probably it.
D
That'll do it.
G
Yeah. I was like. We were always talking on the phone, and we were always playing golf together, and we were going to dinner a lot, and I. I was like. Like, oh, man. I was like, I do. I have a crush on him. And then I imagined us getting naked, and I was like, yeah, I definitely don't have a crush on him. I was like. Because I. I think I would want to be on top the whole time, and I don't think that's his jam. You know, I don't think that's. So when it comes to reality, that's. That's the only. I didn't actually watch the show, but I did watch him swing a lot of golf. Golf clubs.
A
There you go.
G
Yeah, it's. As far as that went.
D
And then ended quickly, just as fast as it started.
G
Still acquaintances, but I no longer, like, have to drink.
A
Did you meet him after the show?
G
No, I met him before the show. Yes. I've known him for probably a year and a half. Great guy. Wonderful guy. But I just. Every time I Would try to just imagine him naked while he was driving. I was just like, that doesn't do anything for me. And he's a good looking guy.
A
Does that happen a lot? You just imagine people naked when they're driving?
G
Well, after a divorce. Divorce. When you're like really contemplating or you want to do that again, you're like, guys have got to be easier. Guys are not easier. No, guys are definitely. I think, I think a woman has got to be easier.
A
We just cosplay as people who don't have feelings, but they're all just built up inside.
G
Yeah.
A
Yeah. And then when you make us feel safe enough to open up, you're like, holy.
G
Yeah. I think I might be a guy just dressed as a woman because that is me. You can't crack it out of me until you know, it gets to the very last day in and I'm like, now just trauma dump for two hours.
D
Yeah. And then you leave and you're like, oh, yikes. I feel like I talked a little bit too much.
G
I know. The whole car ride. Did I say too much?
D
You're like, are they ever going to talk to me?
G
And they never do. They never call back.
A
Yeah, just a little voicemail. So like, I was definitely just joking mostly.
G
No, literally. Yeah. I'm sorry.
A
I am a, I'm a comedian.
G
I'm sorry. That was too much. Yeah. No, I called my dad after like the fourth time me and him hung out and I was like, dad, I think I have a crush on a guy. And he was like, are you high right now? I think so.
D
Yeah. I think so.
A
Well, Danae, thanks for joining.
G
Thank you all so much, guys.
A
And remind the audience where they can get tickets.
G
Oh, yeah.
A
Danae hayes.com the Buck Wild tour.
D
How many cities are you going to?
G
I want to say 29.
A
Link in bio for in our show description if you want to get some tickets and support D. Well, I mean you'll, you'll have a great time. You won't kiss me. Need a charity. So if you.
D
I love a fellow Alabaman. You know, just getting just so funny.
A
This episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. I mean it was a, it was the first time I publicly. I think it was the first time we got to see Denise speak a little bit about her very public divorce. Obvious. I know this has been out there, but like I didn't that. That clip they show of. Of Aaron and Denise saying, don't say anything. You're on camera. You're on camera. You're on camera. And he goes, don't tell me what to say. I will smash. I will crush your hand.
F
I'll crush your hand.
A
Like, that is a. That is a terrifying scene. Terrifying. Like a man who is so emotionally, like, volatile that while he's being reminded he's on camera and more mic'd up is more focused on the fact that his partner and wife is, quote, unquote, telling him what to do, that he threatens to crush her hand. I couldn't even imagine that thought coming in my head.
D
I mean, it's also. It's like, it makes you believe everything else that Denise. Because it's like, if this man is willing to do. Say this on camera, like, what the hell is he gonna do behind.
A
Yeah, yeah, that's what I'm saying.
H
You don't.
D
Her stories of, like, after having the facelift and, like, sitting on the toilet and him and, like, needing his help. So sad, terrifying.
A
And he's. He's a big.
F
He was awful on that season.
D
Yeah.
C
Yeah. I remember watching that season, and Denise had to walk him off camera so many times that I feel like that within itself just raised a lot of
F
questions while he was arguing with women.
D
Like, that was.
F
What was the most concerning thing for me, even going back to that season, is that he was literally, like, getting in their faces, and she was like, okay, we're leaving.
C
Erica's back to Sutton's event is what I think about pretty often, where it was like, he. He made it feel very personal and almost. I think someone said, is that a threat in the scene?
E
Yeah.
B
Yeah. It's just like, Denise Richards is such a light in the world and just an amazing presence. And so, like, I don't know, she's just so special to have.
F
She's, like, rescuing animals and having them live in her house. And then it's like, this man is just, like, taking full advantage.
B
Yeah. Aaron. Vipers get rotten hell. Like, that's how I feel.
C
And then hearing that Aaron, Erica was the first or the second person to reach out to Denise when everything went public. Like, to see them in this place now with a friendship, knowing that, like, the last time we saw them together was the weed dinner.
G
Yeah.
B
Yeah.
A
Erica told her obviously, very sad story about, you know, being a victim as well. But, you know, I think Erica is one of those people, and I relate to her so much, but, like, she always has this very kind of ice cold Persona, you know, and she's very. And I think it. What's true about her is, like, I don't think she spends a Lot of energy and time worrying about what people think. But she's a human being, so obviously you still care. Right. And you don't get to see a lot of vulnerable moments from Erica. Obviously, this was an extraordinary vulnerable moment. But even just her talking about the case, you know, and again, I know there's. It just. It's just a reminder that you don't really know the details. And so much of what we do know about this stuff is always second and third hand. It's always. Always like a clip from the Internet, you know, and things like that. So it's. It's. It always just reminds you just to be careful not to, you know, what. How. How you criticize, you know, And I don't know, maybe Eric's not above criticizing when it comes to that case, but it. That it really made. That episode, really made me just, like, love her so much.
C
Yeah. I mean, I have so much appreciation for both of them sharing their experiences. And I think Erica said something, or maybe Sutton said, where it was like, even someone who's so strong like me can still endure something like that.
G
Yeah.
B
And, yeah, I think it was very. I don't know, it was a very moving conversation to see both of them have on camera and just to be
D
vulnerable in that way, it's just unfortunately relatable.
F
So it's like, where I'm like to have two powerhouses like Erica, Jane and Denise Richards and be like, oh, this happened to them too. Like, it's just. It's very humanized. Amazing.
D
And then both, like, acknowledging that it's like a very isolating, lonely feeling. And so, like, to anyone who's watching, who's gone through that, to be like, okay, this is like, normal feelings. I'm not actually this alone and this isolated. Like, this is just how I feel right now, and I'm gonna get out of it. But, yeah, I feel like, honestly, those are, like, the biggest conversations of the episode we had. Dorit, like, trying to flirt with this man, man in the Hamptons.
A
And, like, I think we learned something very important about Amanda this episode. When she said to. She was talking to her fiance. And I think it was something. When I do a manifestation, most people would pay, like, big money or whatever, like, or. Or would be real grateful. And in that moment, I realized that Amanda doesn't spend a lot of time hanging out with her equals. She hangs out with a lot of people who worship her, who are fear her, who, you know, I. I would. Even her friends think she's the greatest thing ever. And I I think that's. If that's true. Don't know her in person, whatever. Again, just watching the TV show. But I have dated people like that, and I have had. I've known people, and if. If. If everyone around them just worships them, it's like a huge red flag. Like, you have to have people who are your equals who call you out, who check you. And for her to, like, be so shocked that these women are, like, not down to, like, writing their manifestations at a dinner table, and they're not just, like, so grateful for her. And. And she says it. I mean, again, she's amazing tv, like, incredible tv, but she. She truly is shocking. She. She seems genuinely confused. And I'm just like, this is because you don't hang out with anyone who actually, you think is your equal.
C
Nick. I love Amanda, and I was gagged, like, clutching my pearls when she was, like, talking about Doritos at what that, like, I'm not a woman that's, like, put all my financial stability.
A
No, no, no.
D
She goes, like, a full sentence in the ass later.
A
She basically is like, a man was your plan to get rich. And it didn't work out. But she said it in such a. Yeah, she says it in a way that she is, like, she's going to be surprised that it doesn't sound nice or something.
B
Can we talk about the cult stuff really quick? Because I think the culture stuff to her job as a money manifestor is very interesting.
A
No, it's not a coincidence. She. She Definitely 100% is using things she learned in that experience to, as Bo said, to basically convince people to give her money in their pursuit of making money.
B
Yeah. And like, can't knock the hustle.
E
Yeah, right.
B
Can't knock the hustle. But I'm glad Bose is going to make her be honest. Honest about it, literally. Yeah. An honest hustler is what I want to see.
G
Yeah.
A
All right, well, now we have the interview many of you have been waiting for. Natalie from Traders joins us to talk about all the drama that went down in the Castle. And I have questions. Natalie, welcome to the show. How you doing?
F
Not good.
A
I. Well, I imagine it's. Yeah. I mean, it's always emotional to watch it back. It seemed very emotional while you were going. Going through it. Well, you were doing the round table, and you brought up how Candace brought up Rob and, And. And then Mara was like, that was a throwaway vote. And I was waiting for you to be like, well, the first time it was a throwaway vote, but what about the second time that Candace put Rob's name, because I feel like if you went back and connected the dots to like, oh, well, that first time they went after Lisa and she ended up being a traitor. And then, then Rob went after Candace, she ended up being a traitor and Candace both times said Rob, I wonder why, but maybe is that something because like, Mara was like, you don't have any evidence. And I felt like that would have been like a really good thing. But I'm just, you know, I'm curious from your perspective, what was it like in the real world?
H
So I think I was so angry and so distracted by my over overwhelming emotion of anger that I wasn't really thinking straight moment at the, at that moment. I could have and would have been better at the round table if I had gone in knowing it was me versus everybody. But I went in with this like false hope of me it being me, Tara and Johnny and possibly Mark and we were going to have each other's back. So I just had to. And I didn't do a good job of just redirecting like my purpose at the round table and it kind of became a me versus Tara instead of me trying to get people to vote for Rob. So that was something I did not bring up and I obviously could have and there would probably been so many more other things I could have said, but I was just so, just thrown off guard and I just felt like I didn't have at that point this clear mindset to be like, okay, this, this, this, Natalie, these are the points you have to fucking hone in on and go at Rob. It just became a shit show.
A
No, I mean, I can, I can only imagine I'm, I must feel like it must be just a weird experience to like know your names being thrown out at the table and, and it often feels like in that moment logic really doesn't matter. And you, you know that everyone has your name on their mouth and you're just like, it must be a very daunting feeling.
H
Yeah, it sucks because if you know it, it's one thing because then you're like, prepare it. But I think having that like rug pulled out from under me and then being like, like, is Tara a traitor? Like, I was so confused in that moment because I, I could not reason why they would do this to me last minute except for being like super selfish and wanting them to, to be in the game a few more days or one more day longer. It's like, girl, like, it's so dumb. Like, do you want to win or do you want to just wear a cute outfit at the finale? What do you want to do?
A
Have you had a chance to talk to Tara at all about how that all went down and your feelings about it?
H
Yeah, we've connected and, like, I understand it's a game and, like, we've connected and we're fine, but at the same time, like, I'm emotional because I care about doing well on these shows. And maybe the weight of winning for me is more than winning for her, and maybe the 250,000 makes a bigger difference in my life than it would for her. And also, coming out as a gamer, I have a very normal life and I go out every couple of years and I get to do these amazing shows. I want to fucking do well. Like, I don't want to just coast, and I don't want to just show up there and walk around the castle, you know, so it's very different. And I'm so frustrated with myself and how I played. So why can't I also have frustrations for my teammates out there?
A
Totally makes sense. What, when you reflect back, what are things you'd love to have done different?
H
I think I should have just owned who I was. I was really nervous to go out there and be targeted and I didn't have a big shield. And so besides crazy Rappable, he was a shield for everybody for a while, but I just played more coy than I wanted to. And I was always saying, like, I want to do this, but I was like, oh, they're going to think I'm a trader. And obviously the moment I showed anything, like at the banquet when I went crazy, like, everybody was like, oh, she's a trader. Even though it makes zero sense for a trader to do that. So anything I would have done spook would have spooked them all out. But I wish I just said, fuck it, like, you might as well go out guns blazing, which I did at the end. That was my true self. So I wish I just was more aggressive and more like just trying to do more things out there instead of being scared of doing the most, you
D
know, watching the dagger part back where Rob took the dagger from you watching,
H
Hell, like, that's so bad.
E
Watching it.
D
I definitely, like, did not know it was you. Did you watching it back, were you like, okay, yeah, I guess I didn't make eye contact with him. Him. And like, I guess I see what he saw, but what the hell?
H
What the hell? Yeah, I was. I'm such a good liar on Survivor. Like, I was literally lying through my teeth and nobody could tell. And then I fumbled this one, one move I had to do. And I think it also mattered because he was my number one. So I was like, haha, that's funny. Me and my number one have a secret together. And then he told everybody anyway. But watching him back was embarrassing. I was like, girl, you could have done better than that. And I don't know why I lied about it being cold. And he like, was so smart with it. Like, he asked the question that he knew the answer to and I lied and then he asked me another question. So then it's like, yeah, she's going to lie about the weather. Why wouldn't you just lie about the dagger too?
A
You know, you were as close with Rob as anyone in the house. And obviously I think since some people have left, they've were surprised about Rob being a traitor. People have thrown out accusations about like other former faithfuls, like slipping Rob information or things like that. But as someone who is very close to, to Rob, what's your take on that whole situation?
H
So I think that Rob would never compromise him winning because he didn't have to. Like, I think there's a combination of him being really good at being a trader and then the faithful is just not being on the same team and playing together. And I don't think Rob needed to do anything to help his chances. I think we was helping him enough. I think that he played a really good game. And coming from some, all the, all the gamers respect Rob's game. And for me, when I found out he was a traitor, like at that point I knew it was like 90% probably him. Obviously you can't know 100%. I was like fucking rooting for him. Like the part of me that didn't vote for him at the end is like, I didn't want to give them any more information that they already knew and I wanted to leave them confused. So it was kind of like a little bit of a petty move voting for Tara because I was like mad at her. And then, then the other like 50% was like, I just don't want them to be on Rob anymore. Like, I would rather Rob win than Tara and Johnny win at this point because oh my God, I would just go jump in a, in a lock somewhere if they want.
A
What did you make of them airing that? Johnny was like, I think the, the two. I think there's two traders and I think it's Rob and Eric and he
H
nails it right after that means that they Knew at the table. Like, there's no way you can convince me. Me and Tara had this moment and there's very few moments, moments in that house where it's like a come to Jesus moment where you're like, oh, my God. Come to a faithful. Like, you know you're faithful. I had that with Monet. He was taken away from me. I had that with Jam. Jam. He was taken away from me. And I had this moment with Tara when we connected and we looked at each other and we're like, fuck, it's not each of us. We can work together. Like, that was the most frustrating thing is that she knew and she still, she says it after she votes for me. She's like, I don't think you're a traitor, but here you go. Like, what the hell?
A
Wait, what? But at this stage in the game, to your point, it's just like, why? What do you think their motive? I mean, are they this obsessed with Rob where they're just like, they don't care, but, like, I mean, I get early on when there's so many people, you kind of don't necessarily go for who you think the traitor is. But at this stage, the stakes are pretty high game wise, right? And it's just like, like, it's like as if they're playing for Rob. It doesn't. It doesn't make sense.
H
It's so frustrating because the roundtable before, I could have gone for Johnny and got his duck dumbass out, but I knew he wasn't a traitor. So I was being a good faithful and being like, it's not you can't play, it's not me, so who cares? Let. Let it be some other idiot, even if they're faithful. Like, I was playing a game where the faithfuls could go to the end and try and win. And it was playing with them was like playing with people who didn't care about winning. They just want to self preserve between the two of them and make it one more day together. Like, that is so frustrating trading because they, both of them knew deep down inside I wasn't a trader, but they were willing to just sacrifice me and be like, you know what? Whatever, we're over it. It can be you today, and maybe tomorrow we'll make something happen.
F
Like, did you have any initial suspicions about Rob being a traitor before Tara
D
brought it to you?
H
So I feel like it was really hard for me to admit some of the things that I was feeling about Rob because I had nobody. And in that castle, when you feel like you Have.
C
No.
H
Nobody. Giving up somebody who makes you feel like they trust you is very difficult. And that's what I had with Rob. We had. Our relationship had been a little bit strained, and he was acting a little bit weird, but it's almost like Tara gave me the authority to lean into those. Those feelings that I was kind of ignoring. And so I had these things. Like, one was like, why do I know? I'm strong on these challenges, but they could still do it without me. And I was like, who's saving me? And, like, that was something that was reoccurring because I had been up for murder coming a couple of times, and I was like, who the. None of these people would save me except Rob, you know, like, so having Tara, like, come to me was like this. Like, it felt almost like this freeing moment of being like, no, no. Lean into that, Natalie. Lean into those feelings and just go for it.
A
Yeah. It's interesting to hear that you. You kind of felt like on an island, but you had, you know, you got a friendship with Rob, and it seems like this was part of Rob's strength, maybe also as a person, not just as a game player, but, like, you don't seem to be only one of the. The house who didn't feel like they had, like, a group or a posse of friends. But Rob took the time to, like, bond with you?
H
Yeah, definitely. I mean, I bonded with him really early, and I held onto that because the other people that I had were taken away from me. And I think Rob's demeanor allowed me to. To, like, kind of gravitate towards him, to make me feel like I had somebody in the game. And whether he knew it or not, it was a really good strategy for him to.
D
To have.
H
Especially with the. The people that weren't in these, like, clicks of people, because there was, like, Kristen, Tara, Johnny and Mark, they were kind of, like, in a clique. And the other people that were kind of like the stragglers at the end, like, keeping us, like, connected to him and, like, keeping us close was really smart. Especially somebody like me who he knew. I didn't have any of my gamers. I didn't have anybody around except for him. It was really smart. Smart, you know?
A
Well, now, you know, you have to go. We appreciate you taking the time. It was really a pleasure to watch you on this season of the Traders, and we're excited to see what you have to say at the reunion. I. I mean, are you really. Are you. You. Are you that frustrated with the whole experience or. Yes.
H
For me, it's very hard because regret is something that. And like forgiveness. I think it's Survivor. Losing Survivor the way I did my second season, like, you win, I want Survivor Right then I played Survivor and I came second place and I lost $2 million because of a mistake I made, not somebody else. It's very hard to go through that again and like, it brings up old emotions for me. So it's like, difficult. It is difficult. And like I said, like, the, the weight of the loss weighs heavier on me than some of the celebrities in the house. And I think that obviously, obviously affects it too. But I still had so much fun. I think that the reason these, these shows are so amazing and it's so much fun is because of how much you. The thrill of winning is so great. So you have to take the losses as well. But.
A
Well, Natalie, again, we appreciate you taking the time and thanks for all your perspective and your honesty.
