Souren has been on The PATH but is afraid of falling behind and not making it. This brings feelings of loneliness and not belonging. Meanwhile, Deanna has had a 40-year relationship with alcohol. Now, after nine months of not drinking, she sometimes hears inner voices pulling her back to old habits.
