James Harris
He's a beast. Dude.
Lawrence Lossman
Yeah, he's awesome.
James Harris
He had grills in for the Zoom call.
Lawrence Lossman
I, I, you know what? And I'm like this is going to inspire Lawrence to wear his little two piece.
James Harris
No, I, I thought about it. But I'm like I'm not going to travel with girls. God for. But I lose them. And it's a four piece. It's a four piece.
Lawrence Lossman
Okay. Sam heads up Design in Maine UK and apparently has like one of the sickest New Balance archives in the world.
James Harris
I believe it.
Lawrence Lossman
This is going to be proper Manny Madness. Maniacs out and about. Yeah, Hip Manchester. I don't know the address.
James Harris
It's a hip store. Google it.
Lawrence Lossman
Use the super computer in your pocket. Thursday, March 13, 7 to 10pm get there early, stay there late. Live pod from 7:30 to 8, thereabouts. Oh, sorry. Half seven or is that half eight?
James Harris
I don't, I don't even know.
Lawrence Lossman
I don't, I don't know.
James Harris
I just know they put the date before the month.
Lawrence Lossman
Oh, my bad. The event is from 19 to 22:00.
James Harris
There it is. There it is.
Lawrence Lossman
Yeah, so pull up at 19 and stay there until 22.
James Harris
How would they say the date? We would say like 3. 13. They would say 13.
Lawrence Lossman
3.
James Harris
They say 13. 3. Yeah, 133 from 19 to 22.
Lawrence Lossman
That's right. It'll be 16 degrees Celsius.
James Harris
Yeah. We actually are getting lucky with weather.
Lawrence Lossman
Yeah, we're having to talk about it.
James Harris
Okay. Sorry, my bad.
Lawrence Lossman
No, all good.
James Harris
I got ahead of myself. Yeah.
Lawrence Lossman
Pull up brothers and the mandam chicky Brio. Bring some chicky Nandos. Yeah boys. We're not gonna have dinner. That's gonna be a tough eating night for us.
James Harris
What about don't we get our own. We get a meal on Tuesday ourselves. We go to Nando's.
Lawrence Lossman
No, Tuesday, where we're hitting the, we're hitting a nice restaurant with the whole hip and NB team. Wednesday we're going to Cockermouth.
James Harris
Yeah.
Lawrence Lossman
And you did a certified. You did the certified sucker. Same thing as your man's bro. Me, which you talk about in some afters in a few weeks.
James Harris
If you don't listen to afters. It was. It's an all timer on Thursday.
Lawrence Lossman
No, that's on.
James Harris
No.
Lawrence Lossman
Oh, next Thursday.
James Harris
Yeah, sorry. Two third. Great pod.
Lawrence Lossman
Listen, every afters.
James Harris
Yeah, first of all, I, I agree. I'm just saying that in two weeks time. Just an all timer. Just delirious. Yeah, delirious giggle. I was, I was, I was the more deliriously laughing than I have in a long time. Okay, I was having a ball.
Lawrence Lossman
I was just making fun of your sartorial choices.
James Harris
Your hating was on such a nuclear level. I had no point but to lean into just delirium. It was incredible. I had a great time.
Lawrence Lossman
So for all that and more, pull up to hit Manchester. Shop in Maddie.
James Harris
Free drinks, free tunes, free content, free tunes.
Lawrence Lossman
No, you got to pay for the music.
James Harris
We're. We're going to record.
Lawrence Lossman
You got to buy head. You got to rent headphones because we're doing a silent disco. So you got to rent the headphones and pay us money to tune in to the tunes, man.
James Harris
Come, come see us live. And if for some reason you can't make it or you're not based in Manchester or the north of England at all, I believe this will be live at some point.
Lawrence Lossman
Yeah, the following Friday on the 21st of March. But that's not what we're promoting. We're promoting the live event. And yes, yes, Manchester.
James Harris
I'm just saying, like, a lot of times when we promote an event like this, I get a bunch of people being a bunch of people being like, oh, I can't make it.
Lawrence Lossman
Like, oh, too bad. We'll promote them Friday if you ask it when it's time. We're promoting the live event right now. Yes, sir. And the Guia Dam marketing is hard.
Amazon Voice

Lawrence Lossman
Okay, my Le fit check.
James Harris
Why don't you start?
Lawrence Lossman
Oh, no, no. You start.
James Harris
Okay. All right. Yo. Shout out to the New Balance homies. I wanted to. Wanted to keep it proper when it comes to the creps. So I did the New balance. Not 860v2. This is my, like, it's my favorite New Balance model. These are the collab with ald.
Lawrence Lossman
Yeah. Why do you. Why didn't you say that?
James Harris
Well, I was just naming the sneaker.
Lawrence Lossman
Okay.
James Harris
First, probably my favorite New Balances.
Lawrence Lossman
I've all time.
James Harris
I've owned a ton of New Balances. We love New Balance on the show. These. I just. Jenna called them dad workout sneakers because they're. She's like, this is like what a. A dad would wear to the gym that, like, thinking he's cool. And I was like, that's exactly what I'm going for. Well, especially.
Lawrence Lossman
They remind me especially paired with the very plain monochromatic plane fit that you got going on.
James Harris
Exactly, dude. Which I'm sorry for the plane.
Lawrence Lossman
Sorry to. No, it's bust your nut, but.
James Harris
No, it's cool.
Lawrence Lossman
Yeah, those are great.
James Harris
Yeah.
Lawrence Lossman
Two years ago.
James Harris
Yeah, maybe. I think so. My favorite ALD product, ALD has done a lot of the 860v2. I fell in love with the 860v2 when Dime did their collab early. Yeah, I mean, that shout out, Vince.
Lawrence Lossman
They were the only 860 collab collaborator.
James Harris
Right. You couldn't even. The model was like, Even was discontinued. You couldn't even get that silhouette unless you bought the Dime.
Lawrence Lossman
But this was also. I mean, it seems like. I mean, I can't speak to strategy of like, of specific brands or all brands, but it feels like collaborations used to kind of be like, yo, collaborating partner. What model do you want to work on? And then it became like, yo, we're really pushing, like, XYZ model, so you're going to have to put your touch on that as of, like, I don't know, two, three years ago. So all of a sudden, you know, New Balance, you start seeing, like, nine. Nine ones everywhere. 992s everywhere. 990s. I'm trying to think like, you know, with Asics, same. Right? So, yeah, but. But when Dime did it, it felt like that was. The 860 kind of came out of nowhere. And as a collaborative sneaker.
James Harris
And one of those two pairs was a Silver Surfer. And they were like, very early. Like, very early on. What would become, like, the. With the gel Kayano 14, like the silver Surfers you would see from Asics now is like, the most popular shoe in, like, certain circles that we run in. Like, you see those everywhere? Yeah, yeah. I just love. This is my favorite personal New Balance model. And obviously this, you know, reminds me of why I love these. When I think of, like, Ralph Lauren wearing, like, a tuxedo with then, like, ridiculous sneakers, it would be this color. Like, you got to.
Lawrence Lossman
Why you got to bring it back to you're. You're the latest and biggest celebrity boot licker. I know.
James Harris
I'm sneaker liquor. Yeah. Yeah.
Lawrence Lossman
Why can't you just wear it because you like it, bro. Why you got to reference it to a celebrity or well known icon?
James Harris
I do wear it because I like it. I just love having like a cool reference point. I don't think is there's nothing wrong with being inspired. You know, that's what I'm out here. So that's what we're out here doing every week.
Lawrence Lossman
You're out here being inspired and, and.
James Harris
Then paying it forward and inspiring, you.
Lawrence Lossman
Know, by being like, oh, here's who you should copy. Okay.
James Harris
No, not copy, but just like look to for. Okay, moving on up. I am wearing. What are the socks wearing Shiro socks.
Lawrence Lossman
Nice.
James Harris
The jeans are 316. Throwing fits. Big jeans. The T shirt because.
Lawrence Lossman
Wait, wait, hold on.
James Harris
Yeah.
Lawrence Lossman
This is your.
James Harris
Okay.
Lawrence Lossman
You are going straight to the airport after this. No, because you want to go drink how many beers in the lounge for seven hours before the flight?
James Harris
Nah, dude, I've completely got my alcoholism over control. Under control. Really over control right now I'm drunk.
Lawrence Lossman
This might be the biggest test. Heading to the uk?
James Harris
No.
Lawrence Lossman
Oh, flying. Flying. Flying in a cabin with free alcohol. I'm going to multiple pubs where we will not be paying the bill.
James Harris
I feel like I just need to get on this flight, pop a clown and go to sleep. I might throw on a flick that I fall asleep to, but I'm trying to really, we're. Our trip is pretty fast and furious and you've. You're going. We'll talk about your personal stuff that you're doing after. But like for me, this is gonna be, I want to say a trial by fire, but like there's gonna be little time to adjust.
Lawrence Lossman
Trial by fire water.
James Harris
Yeah, no, I don't plan on. I don't plan on going crazy. Maybe at the event.
Lawrence Lossman
How many termes?
James Harris
None. Really? Yeah, dude.
Lawrence Lossman
Now it's a brand new Larry dude new year. But because on the super bowl trip last year, I think you, you went Wade Boggs mode. I tried the Miller with the Miller lights.
James Harris
Yeah. I think I had like six.
Lawrence Lossman
I think you. I think you approached double digies.
James Harris
Yeah, I. I mean, listen, it's on.
Lawrence Lossman
A four hour flight.
James Harris
Doesn't even count. Right?
Lawrence Lossman
It's not a beer. So. Yeah, that's, you know, Miller Light. Why you should drink it.
James Harris
Miller Light might as well be tap water then. Honestly.
Lawrence Lossman
Then why drink it? That's my question.
James Harris
That is almost. And you know what? You're not wrong. It's literally pointless. Certain stuff for me, like Bud Light, Miller Light, like, of course they're not bad. I see the appeal. I'm not trying to be, like, complete, you know, obtuse individual. But it is, like, in terms of, like, yo, I'm gonna, like, get drunk on Miller Light. It's not gonna happen.
Lawrence Lossman
I think it's possible.
James Harris
Yeah.
Lawrence Lossman
Scientifically speaking, but. Okay, so if you're not going. I'm going home to the terminal seven hours ahead of time just to get up on free lounge beers. Why are you wearing your plane fit to the studio when our flight's in eight hours?
James Harris
That's a great point. I don't know. I think in my mind, I was like, let me wear the plane fit to the pod, and then we have something to talk about, which is, yes, I do fly in jeans. Extremely comfortable jeans.
