Welcome to our first segment of Between Two Guns. I'm your host, Brent Tucker and with me is a lesser known operator, Kyle Morgan. Thanks for being with us today, Kyle.
B
Yep. Thanks for making me be here.
A
Now, when you started blue bearing solution. I don't think it was bearing. Blue. Blue bearing.
B
Yep.
A
Correct. I don't think it was a surprise to any of us. I think the biggest surprise was that you, you only misspelled one word. When you get asked to train SWAT teams and police departments, how often do you get asked that they're reaching out to you Because I was booked?
B
I honestly think that that hasn't ever happened.
A
Never?
B
No, but.
A
Okay.
B
Never say never.
A
That answer surprises me.
B
Yeah.
A
Well, I'd like you to be honest. How upset were you when you finally got to a unit with relaxed screening standards and you couldn't grow a beard? Was that, was that an, was that an upsetting? Was that emotional to you at all?
B
That's why I got a goatee, man. I'm just embraced it.
A
But what, what happens on your face in the cheek area? Just nothing or just all spots?
B
This doesn't. I have a really round face, so I like to keep this short. Even if I had a beard.
A
A round face?
B
Yeah, round face.
A
You know, you don't have to eat three meals a day. Oh, so you've had a successful military career, you run a successful training company and, and now you're doing a podcast. Do you ever step back and think two out of three ain't bad? It, it's, it's, it's your podcast. Have you ever. Well, it's a two. Almost a two part question. Have, have you ever been at a hotel so bad that you didn't stay the night?
B
At a hotel so bad that you.
A
Didn'T stay the night?
B
Yeah.
A
Interesting. Did you leave him a bad review?
B
No.
A
You didn't? I guess. Do you just not review African hotels? There he is.
B
There he is.
A
Okay.
B
Yeah.
A
And with all you've done, I think.
B
They, they tore that place down eventually.
A
But I think you help the beginning process of them tearing it down. They just finished the job. How does it feel to be known as the best hotel security there ever was? That's quite an accomplishment.
B
That is. I don't know if I've ever been given that title before, but thank you.
A
That's how I view you.
B
Thank you.
A
Hotel security, but the best top flight.
B
Security in the world, correct?
A
The best, the best hotel security. So you should be proud of that.
B
Right place, right time.
A
Well, thank you for coming on between two guns with Brent Tucker.
B
You're welcome.
