Greg Coker
Oh,
Brent Tucker
we're doing it.
Drew Hansen
We're doing it.
Brent Tucker
Welcome back to another live show. It must be Thursday night. That means the Patriots have all gathered. Speaking of Patriots, we have retired CW4 Greg Coker.
Drew Hansen
Yeah.
Greg Coker
Howdy.
Brent Tucker
Flew was the best of the best in flying and flew the best of the best to target. Just did a recording with him.
Greg Coker
We'll.
Brent Tucker
We can talk more about that in between the breakdown videos. As always, we have Magnet flying arms over on the couch.
Greg Coker
Yeah, Magnet.
Magnet
What's up?
Brent Tucker
And making it all happen. Drew's in the Aviator spirit.
Tim Kennedy
I love it.
Brent Tucker
I love it. Even though. Even though the 160th flies at night.
Drew Hansen
Yeah, True.
Brent Tucker
Still rocking the Aviator.
Drew Hansen
I wear my sunglasses at night. There's a song about.
Greg Coker
Yep. He's always in the dark.
Brent Tucker
I can't wait for it. It's going to be a big episode. It's going to be fun. We got a lot to cover, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to say some things that maybe you didn't expect me to say. Stick around, find out. Let's go, Dr. Drew, we got things rolling in right now. As we're starting. I'm gonna ask you to do something on the fly. I'm sorry. I'm sending you a picture right now. You guys will get to see this picture later if you. We do it right. Drew, can you. You know the picture I wanted? There's only one picture I want. I don't need it now. I'm just saying, you know the picture I wanted. Yeah, I just sent you another picture. Okay. Luckily, it's for the second half of the show. This is what we're going to do, guys. We're going to cover the Tim Kennedy stuff first, and then we're going to cover the Rob o' Neal things after. After the break. So if you can, I'll take that. That picture for the second half. Right.
Drew Hansen
Okay.
Brent Tucker
All right. Talk a little bit more about it. One Just wanted to give you a little more background. And to Greg, like I said, he was a. A retired CW4 nicknamed Gravy.
Greg Coker
Gravy.
Brent Tucker
Where'd you get Gravy?
Greg Coker
From Kyle Lamb.
Brent Tucker
Kyle. It's a very country nickname. So I can. I can go ahead and get the correlation. If there's no backstory, I don't feel like it's a backstory needed. Unless there is one.
Greg Coker
Eating biscuits and gravy. It. A restaurant one morning.
Brent Tucker
Yeah.
Greg Coker
Yeah. And it blew up. Blew all over my face.
Brent Tucker
The. The gravy blew up.
Greg Coker
The gravy blew up.
Brent Tucker
Yeah.
Greg Coker
Let it be known, let it be said on this day is from now
Brent Tucker
on, Gravy did what was. Do you have a call sign or nick or nickname when. When you were flying?
Greg Coker
No, not really.
Brian Callan
Gravy,
Brent Tucker
Who's. I got it. Okay.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
So anyway, 22 years. 22 years. We cover. We covered it all in the. In the recording.
Greg Coker
From career.
Brent Tucker
Mediocre career. Get out of here. From high school to flight school, you spent a. We'll call. A minimal amount of time outside the 1/60, and we'll save that story for the. For the recording. But I love. I love that story of how you went over. Technically, early. Technically not early, but you went over there anyway. You're like, here I am, boys.
Greg Coker
What are they gonna say?
Brent Tucker
The worst they could say is no. Yeah, but you took a bold maneuver, and then you get. Got to spend essentially the rest of your career doing great things for. For your country. Yeah, of course. Came. Came at a price. You had. You had two or three surgeries. Four surgeries.
Greg Coker
Three.
Brent Tucker
Four, I think. How many? 51. Who's keeping count? Well, you are. 51. 51 surgeries. Golly, that's so crazy. It's so crazy. You got a couple. Couple pieces of metal body.
Greg Coker
49.
Brent Tucker
49.
Greg Coker
49.
Brent Tucker
I think. Yeah, I think. I think we can bump those numbers up. When it's all said.
Greg Coker
No, I'm done. I am done.
Brent Tucker
Doesn't matter what it is. You're just living with it from here on out.
Greg Coker
Yes.
Brent Tucker
Okay.
Greg Coker
Yep. All right. Yes, sir.
Brent Tucker
I get it. So if you guys. If you guys haven't noticed, it doesn't matter if. If you're in. If. If you were in. Flying me to Target or after our service is done, you get a Delta Force guy and a 1/60 guy in the same room, and there's just. I'll never. The amount of respect and the camaraderie there from what generations before us did. And the relationship, it's just. It's just something special. It is the only thing I can compare it to. And at least this relationship makes a lot more sense because it's, you know, American with American, but it's close and it's special as well. And that's our relationship with the. With the SAS and the 2. Two guys, the British guys, that's. That's another just. Just special. Special bond.
Greg Coker
Yep, it is.
Brent Tucker
But I wanted to introduce them, but I know all of you are probably waiting on the. Like I said, first half, we're gonna do Tim Kennedy. Drew, is there anything we need to get into the super chats first before we dive right into it. We might need, we might get too far behind if, if we don't.
Drew Hansen
Let's do.
Brent Tucker
Let's do super chats right off the bat.
Drew Hansen
All right. So he says, do you have any sympathy for Rob? He said his daughters get hate online because of your talks on him.
Brent Tucker
That's. It's a valid question. It is. I'm not happy that that that happens. I take no pride in that. And when that does come across my mind, I mean, Tim Kennedy has. Has as a family, too. The. The truth is. And this is what I. What I have to remind myself because, because it's true, is this is happening because of their actions. So it's, It's. It's not me doing this to them. When they chose to tell a lie about their service and when that lie gets called out and now they're embarrassed in front of their kids, am I to blame for that or are they to blame for trying to profit off of lies? Yeah, well, I mean, the, the answer is it's, it's. It's their fault. So 100. I hate that it's happening. And don't get me wrong, when they went down this road, they probably never thought about that. Like, why would you think about that? But something tells me if they should have and they should. If they, and if they did a better job of holistically thinking about this instead of just how much money can I get and get away with it, then they would have thought about that and said, I don't know, maybe this isn't worth the price. Yeah, but there you go. That's the answer to that one.
Drew Hansen
My question, Brent, is, well, maybe it's too personal, but who uses their kids like that as a defense?
Greg Coker
Good point.
Drew Hansen
Mechanism, you know, against, against public criticism.
Brent Tucker
That's just Drew that, that. That's it. That's a solid take. It really is.
Magnet
Who.
Brent Tucker
And you know, I, I, you know,
Drew Hansen
I kind of, you know, stick to the facts.
Brent Tucker
I lumped, you know, Tim Kennedy's name in with that because he has kids but never mentioned. But yeah, Tim, Tim never did that. Rob is the one who, who did that. And you're right.
Drew Hansen
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
Who. Who does that?
Drew Hansen
Stick to the facts. What does that have to do with it?
Brent Tucker
Yeah.
Greg Coker
Truthful. Set you free.
Brent Tucker
It's.
Drew Hansen
It's.
Brent Tucker
It's what a cor. A cornered man will. Will do some strange things.
Matt Bissonnette
And then.
Brent Tucker
And that's why.
Drew Hansen
So he says, who's the worst veteran you've criticized and would you change how you dealt with Rob.
Brent Tucker
The worst veteran I criticize, in my opinion, is probably Shrek John McPhee. And this. I mean, it's.
Magnet
It's my.
Brent Tucker
It's my opinion, you know, based off of. Of what he did. I mean, those were some. He did. Some. When it comes to the lies part of it, his lies were just as bad as anyone else's lies. I mean, lies are lies. But to hide, you know, getting fired from the unit to hide. Getting fired from the army to hide getting your special forces tab revoked. You probably didn't know all.
Greg Coker
All this.
Brent Tucker
He got demoted from sergeant Major. What would you have to do in the army so heinous to get all of that done to you? Well, I don't. I don't want to say it here. YouTube already hates me enough, but you could. You could do some pretty heinous things to. To a female.
Greg Coker
Yes.
Brent Tucker
When she was not awake.
Magnet
And that would.
Brent Tucker
So that. That. That puts him on my list.
Magnet
Oh.
Brent Tucker
Second half of that was, would I do something different with Rob?
Brian Callan
No.
Brent Tucker
Was that the question? Yeah, yeah, no, I answered it. Sorry. Okay, thank you.
Drew Hansen
All right, so he says, how does the soft community view you criticizing vets like Rob? And then your view on Brian Callan. It was nice you shared respectful post about him on Patreon. Refreshing to see respect between people who disagree.
Andy Stumpf
Sure.
Brent Tucker
Ironically enough, the only hate I get is from, like, outside the soft community or. Or from civilians who don't understand.
Greg Coker
Don't understand.
Brent Tucker
Yeah, the soft community, they love what I did. Not only because they knew it the whole time, so it wasn't a surprise to them. I think it came to a surprise to certain civilians who put these people up on. On a. On a pedestal. So to them, it's kind of rocking their world. Yeah, but to the veteran community, like, yeah, we.
Andy Stumpf
We.
Brent Tucker
We knew that the whole time this guy just said it, who had a platform. So Veter community has been very, very good to me about that, which is really the only ones I really care about you to. To some degree. And Brian Callen. We'll talk about it here in just a little bit. When I break down this video, I have nothing but good things to say about Brian Callan. I think Brian Callen was put into a very hard predicament as a comedian to have to be the, you know, the mediator. The mediator of. Of what's going on. And Tim. Tim asked him to do that. And. And he even said, I don't really have the back sometimes. He was like, you'll See it. I don't really have the background to do this. So I don't know. I don't know what to. To do with this. So should. Brian himself should get nothing but kudos. But he was a poor choice to do this. And that's nothing against Brian. Brian. And you know, and I said this before. Brian's has either mentioned me or referred to me several times. And Tim is a very good friend of his. And if he wanted to come out and say something really negative about me, I would understand. Like, I wouldn't. That's, that's a, that's a natural response when someone attacks your friend to be like, who are you? You know, you piece of crap. Whatever it is, what gives you the right? Right? Brian has always been very easy, even Keel about this. And he's never said anything bad about me. He's been a straight shooter this, this whole time. And, and I, and I, and I appreciate, I really do appreciate that about Brian.
Drew Hansen
Your view. I'm sorry. What makes for a great troop sergeant major and same for a troop commander. What is the relationship usually like between the two?
Brent Tucker
It's so easy to be a great troop sergeant major. You don't have to do anything. You don't have to do anything. You just have to watch the boys work and say, good job, boys. Do you, do you need anything from me? That's all you got to do. It's easiest job in the world. Flow is posted, right? Yeah. It's all, that's all you got to do. It's a, it's a, it's a. I never got to do it, but it's a, it's a great job.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
Same for a troop commander. What makes a great troop, that's very different. What makes a great troop commander is knowing enough to know that you don't know everything. And let me lean on that troop sergeant major and that troop sergeant major will make you a good, true commander again. It's actually, it's easy. It's easy and it's tough to watch people screw it up because it's so, it's so easy. And their relationship is you. And if, and if both of them do that, it's usually pretty good.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
The relationship between the two.
Drew Hansen
Jonathan, Jonathan Tubbs says Brent Tom Satterley said that he never knew his status with Delta until he swiped his badge daily. And it said green or red. Was that practice still in place for you? And was yours ever red? Ro Tide from Barnesville, Georgia?
Brent Tucker
So that's a, that's a joke. But Also call it like a truth joke. And, and you guys would be similar. That absolutely could happen. It's very, very rare. Usually if you did something, you did something wrong, you have to go into the building because someone's going to tell you that you messed up. So it's actually really, really rare. And it's usually more of a joke where that we say, it says, well, glad my, glad my card worked this morning. So could it happen if, if it happened to him.
Magnet
Happened.
Brent Tucker
But it'd be, it'd be very rare. So like I said, you got to get inside the building to take your medicine.
Greg Coker
Yep.
Brent Tucker
So, yeah, there you go on that. And yes. Oh, by the way, mine, mine always worked till the day I left.
Drew Hansen
All right, Solely back in again. And I believe solely has asked this on previous lives. I could be wrong, but it sounds very familiar. New Zealand SAS said in show first among equals. They'd have prime ministers next to targets and shoot targets fast with live rounds. Gave PM's big confidence in SAS skills. Should Delta do this fetus seal Team 6 said it's dumb.
Brent Tucker
I don't know if we should be putting, you know, their prime minister's equivalent of our president for. We should be putting our president in a seat to shoot live rounds by his head just, just to show that we're good enough. I think there's other ways to show that we're good enough. So, yeah, I don't. To say that it's dumb, I think is a little strong, like heavy handed. But to say that it's necessary, I don't believe that is necessary.
Greg Coker
I don't either.
Brent Tucker
Yeah, that'd be. And yeah, I just don't. But they're a smaller country and there's, you know, other things that, you know, that might be easier. It's just, I don't think it's something
Drew Hansen
we need to do.
Greg Coker
No.
Drew Hansen
So he says, your idea of fair punishment for TK Robin McPhee. And then he says, drew, can you pray for my enemies to never experience the cold side of a pillow
Greg Coker
and
Drew Hansen
for Delta to be number one tier one unit instead of number two after 22 SAs.
Brent Tucker
Here's the thing. And I appreciate the question because it allows me, I think, I think the people understand me a little bit better. It's, it's not, it's not my job to, to, to see what a fair punishment is, is for them. That's to some reason. Yeah, I felt, I felt like it was my job to maintain integrity within the veteran community. But I'm not a judge. Jury Executioner at the same time. That's, that's for the public to decide whether you guys want to continue to support them. And, and I say the public to decide. I'd like to, I'd like to believe in a perfect world would have happened is I would have brought the facts out. Of course this didn't really happen and it kind of happened. We're about to talk about it.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
Is I bring the facts out and like hey, you're caught and you're caught absolutely red handed. Naive me to some degree thought they would go oh no, I've been caught world. I'm sorry. Yeah, I shouldn't have done that. I'm sorry. And then there would really be no need for punishment. Change your ways. Go off and do great things. But that, that didn't really happen that way. So really their, their only punishment per se is. Is what the American people decide to do with, with, with their support to them. And that's about all you can do.
Drew Hansen
Yeah. Let's see. The real Justin says Jizro the super seal wants to grab Grift Kennedy's sack of grenades while Shrek the sheriff inserts as a singlet lines.
Brent Tucker
That seems like a movie the Onion should produce. I'd watch it.
Drew Hansen
Oh yeah, just another 11B says getting in earlyish because I'm covering a call off on one of my posts. I'll be listening until 8:30 then watching. If you're later than 8:30, do push ups.
Brent Tucker
Yes, that's the 11 Bravo with a bunch.
Magnet
Nice.
Tim Kennedy
Yeah.
Drew Hansen
And he said add Allison chains. What the hell have I for the outro?
Brent Tucker
You got it.
Magnet
Is he at another country bar?
Brent Tucker
You got it.
Drew Hansen
So that's $70.
Brent Tucker
We'll. Oh, we'll put them together. Okay. You got it.
Drew Hansen
Allison changed cuz I think the outro was afterthought.
Greg Coker
He.
Drew Hansen
I bet you he sent that $50 super chat and went oh crap, I didn't do an outro.
Brent Tucker
What the hell have I. Okay, got it, got it, got it, got it.
Drew Hansen
Hey, Baggy says ma holo to Six's mom. The maku. Why do y' all do this to me?
Brent Tucker
I love it.
Drew Hansen
The makuahein of the patreon. So I guess that's mother for in Hawaii.
Brian Callan
Yeah.
Magnet
I don't know.
Brent Tucker
Even though I won't do that actually, we'll just say someone let me know who actually uses their kids in a fight and it's the Taliban. That's not wrong. The correlation hits a little home. Yes. So if you're wondering who Uses their kids in a. In a fight. Verbal or physical or God the Taliban does. Yeah.
Magnet
So.
Matt Bissonnette
Okay.
Greg Coker
Al Qaeda.
Brent Tucker
Okay.
Drew Hansen
Okay. All right. Gooch Parmesan says I lied in the team aar this afternoon to make it here in time for the guest.
Brent Tucker
Apparently it happens sometimes. I mean, not that I'm aware of.
Brian Callan
You've.
Brent Tucker
You've probably been in a couple debriefs after. After some. After some. Some tough flights. Well, you probably. Good flights, bad flights. You guys debrief them all.
Greg Coker
Every one of them.
Brent Tucker
All right.
Greg Coker
Yeah. Leave your feelings at the door.
Brent Tucker
Yeah. Yeah.
Greg Coker
Usually debriefs are longer than the flight.
Brent Tucker
And how. How many of those debriefs have. Have you lied in?
Greg Coker
Oh, gosh, none.
Brent Tucker
None.
Greg Coker
None.
Brent Tucker
Maybe that's just you. How many. How many pilots did you talk to afterwards and be like, you know, you know, you lied in that. But that's okay.
Magnet
We're going.
Brent Tucker
We're going to help cover this lie up. How many times you talk. Other pilots helping them lie in their debrief?
Greg Coker
All of them.
Brent Tucker
So it's just you. You're. You're the. The only one with integrity. I like that. That's why you're on the show. That's why they didn't get an invite. That's why they didn't get an invite.
Brian Callan
Some.
Brent Tucker
Tell me something tells me no One at the 160th lies through debrief.
Matt Bissonnette
No.
Brent Tucker
Yeah. Which is pretty standard for a Tier one unit. Who's. Who always wants to know the best become better.
Greg Coker
Yep.
Brent Tucker
Real, you know, learn for their mistakes to what. It's what we do. Well, we'll get into that in a little bit.
Magnet
Right.
Tim Kennedy
What's up?
Magnet
ABC and NBC has. Is denying to play the speech tonight.
Brent Tucker
No way. So just this, Justin, I. I told Magnus said, hey, Magnet, Trump's Speaking at. At 9pm At 9pm can you make sure to. I got a link to cover that. Okay, so we will keep you updated on whatever Trump has to say. Something tells me, even though he was told about this and he refused to move his time slot, but I'm sure someone's like, hey, Mr. President, you may not want to do this. The Tier 1 Live is also on at 9 o' clock, and it's really going to pull a lot of views from you, but.
Drew Hansen
Sounds about right.
Brent Tucker
But he's. He's going up against the Juggernaut. He's about to find out he should have moved that. But don't worry, Will keep you up to date. Thank you, Magnet. All right, let's keep Going drew boys.
Drew Hansen
Right wing, not says boys. We had a U. S. Marshal here in Louisiana killed this week serving a warrant. Fugitive TF task force task force. So my son is on the task force. But further south, Drew Hansen had a wife and two small kids. Piece of crap sex offender. Killed him, man.
Greg Coker
Did they kill him?
Brent Tucker
Man, I hope so.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
Gosh, that is. You know, we, we, we talked about it a little bit in, in yours. You know, anytime you're going after bad guys, the risk is, is never zero. It doesn't matter how good you are. It doesn't matter how fast your helicopter is. It doesn't matter how little and versatile and agile it is, how high it is, how high it is. Your, your, your, your bird got shot down and you guys had to pay that price because it's. I said the bad guys get a vote too.
Greg Coker
They do.
Brent Tucker
And it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter if you're in a fugitive task force or overseas fighting bad guys, the good guys come out on top a lot of times. And I think that's why it hurts so, so much. Because the good guys are supposed to win. Because that's what the good guys do. They win a lot. And the good guys win a lot.
Greg Coker
We win a lot.
Brent Tucker
But the few times, the few times the bad guys get lucky. It hurts.
Greg Coker
It hurts.
Brent Tucker
Yeah, it hurts. And especially, especially on that. No, no one's. There's two people that are very deserving this world of, of getting to see their maker. Whether they believe that was their maker or not, they've realized soon after leaving this earth who their maker is.
Andy Stumpf
Yep.
Brent Tucker
And that's terrorist. And on top of terrorist, I would put the guy that they were going after.
Brian Callan
Yes.
Brent Tucker
That's the most despicable people on earth.
Greg Coker
Yeah, terrible.
Magnet
Because he would have been flying Airwolf though.
Greg Coker
There you go. Airwolf could have gone inverted.
Magnet
Right?
Greg Coker
Air metals dangling in my face.
Magnet
So.
Greg Coker
All right.
Drew Hansen
Anybody who says that any police force ought to be defunded, ought to be dragged down the road and kicked in the nuts.
Brent Tucker
That's such a short sighted. Defund the police. Anti police don't listen. It's so short sighted. Yeah, those same idiots. The first sign of trouble. Who are they calling?
Magnet
The police.
Drew Hansen
The cops.
Matt Bissonnette
Yeah.
Drew Hansen
911 OG Bobby says thank you for everything you do. I can't stop watching. Listening to your stuff all time. Favorite podcast, Furry from the sky.
Brent Tucker
Is it fury?
Matt Bissonnette
Fury.
Drew Hansen
My bad, my bad. That's a fury. I was a little confused.
Brent Tucker
Someone clipped that.
Drew Hansen
I was a little confused myself.
Brent Tucker
Greg, welcome to the Tier One podcast.
Greg Coker
Look at the time.
Drew Hansen
Thank you, Bobby.
Brent Tucker
Yeah, yeah.
Drew Hansen
Furry.
Brent Tucker
You ever consider yourself just furry in the sky? In the sky. Fury. Fury. Like a fur ball. So, so close, Drew. I get it.
Magnet
It's.
Brent Tucker
It could happen to anyone.
Drew Hansen
It's just funny, but it mostly happens to me.
Greg Coker
Giddy up.
Brent Tucker
Oh, boy. Here we go.
Drew Hansen
Marika. Captain Glory says, happy Thursday, gents. Any plans to have DJ on show? PS Bisonettes got them crazy eyes.
Brent Tucker
Have those crazy cheers. He does have those crazy eyes a little bit. I'll tell you this. When you talk to people's teammates, it just says a lot about them. In fact, I'll go ahead of the show and I'll talk about all three people. Essentially, we're going to talk about, you know, Tim Kennedy, Rob o', Neill, Matt Bissonette. It just. At least it says something about them. You can say whatever you want about Tim Kennedy. You'd be right. But you know what? When I called all his teammates and said, hey, I'm not looking for you to. I'm not looking for a certain. I'm just looking for the truth. And I have some questions for you. And they. They asked me, almost all of them. Almost all of them said, man, I kind of hate to do this because Tim's a really nice guy. Tim's a really good guy. Tim was a good teammate. And so that says something about him that, you know, that needs to be. To be put out.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
When I talked to people about Matt Bissonnette, because I still have to kind of, you know, confirm his story as well, I heard various things. As far as what he said was the truth. What he said was the closest thing to the truth, like, you know, things like that, but all pointing towards his version being either the truth or really, really close truth. And. And they would always. Then they would always go, but let me tell you about Matt. Matt was a great operator. Matt was a killer.
Matt Bissonnette
Matt.
Brent Tucker
Matt was a great shooter. He was great on target. They always said very good things about Matt. We'll just say Rob was different.
Drew Hansen
Okay.
Brent Tucker
We'll just say.
Drew Hansen
Don't say this.
Brent Tucker
We'll just say Rob was different. Yeah.
Magnet
All right.
Brent Tucker
What else we got?
Drew Hansen
The real Justin back in again. Wants to say it again. Jizzra the super seal wants to grab Grift Kennedy's second grenades while Shrek the Sheriff inserts as a singleton from behind his lines.
Brian Callan
Okay.
Greg Coker
All right. We read some Rangers in there, too.
Drew Hansen
You paid it, we read it. All right, eagle1ac says, shout out to Drew Love You, Brent. Hello, Chat. Thank you, Bird J. All zero says Brent. Annie Stump did a great episode with Matt Cole, author of Code Over Country. Can you have Seth Harp on to talk on Fort Bragg Cartel Billy, etc.
Brent Tucker
I'm a pretty nice guy, but I don't know if I could have Seth Harp sitting that. Sit in that seat. The way he disparaged and lied about the unit with a. He wrote the book Fort Bragg Cartel and just utter, utter lies about the unit that took me off my. Oh, Matt. Cold though. I'll tell you this. I keep, I keep personal conversations personal. I don't mind telling people I had conversations, but, you know, what was said, you know, stays between us. I did have Matt Cole, I did call him on the phone and I'm a little surprised with all the, the work he did looking into the. The, the crimes of Seal Team 6. I don't know if you ever heard of that book or the Code Over Country. He's done a couple things that were kind of tell all kind of exposing the bad culture of Seal Team 6. And I've said it. Some of the things he may be right about and he didn't do it in like a liberal way. It was kind of a factual way.
Magnet
Right.
Brent Tucker
And. But some of the. He just viewed as bad. And I'll. And I'll. I'll just say this. The.
Brian Callan
We.
Brent Tucker
We talked about this in the garage. You know, the wedding party thing.
Andy Stumpf
That.
Brent Tucker
That's just. That's a war thing like that. That's. That's the fog of war that happens that. I don't think that's a. You can't blame Seal Team 6 for that.
Greg Coker
No.
Brent Tucker
Some of the culture of being. We'll just say it overly aggressive on targets with things like that, hey, that's, that's savage and it's illegal. But I, I get it.
Brian Callan
I'm not.
Brent Tucker
I get it. But there are, there's some other things that he did. He was right about and it was great to talk to him. I can't believe after everything that I've covered with Rob o' Neill that I haven't talked to Matt. Matt Cole, because Matt said everything that I said about Rob o' Neill way before me, and it was in his book and he got that from his sources that were there. But for some reason, Matt Cole isn't getting sued for $25 billion. So I don't know. Interesting. But yeah, hopefully he has a new book coming out and so hopefully we can get him on the show. I'd love to have him on the show. Yeah, he did. He did. He was one who did the article for. It wasn't really big news, but it's kind of big news in the special ops community. Do you remember when the story got leaked about the SEAL Team 6 mission that was doing that. That covert insert onto the North Korean.
Tim Kennedy
Yes.
Brent Tucker
Shores. And then they killed some. Some people. You know, I think they were putting a device on fishermen. Yeah. Kind of killed some fishermen. Aborted left crazy mission.
Drew Hansen
He.
Brent Tucker
He wrote. He wrote about that. He's doing. He's doing. He. I believe is. I don't know if he's announced this yet, so I don't want to. I don't want to put it out in case he hasn't said what his book is a about. But yeah, he's got a really interesting book coming out and so hopefully we'll have him here in October.
Greg Coker
Cool.
Drew Hansen
Bo from the great state of Texas.
Brian Callan
Yeah.
Drew Hansen
Thank you for the love, man. He says they say the truth always catches up. Looks like it's Brent's turn for vindication. Proud to call you brother. Keep doing what you do. Those who know no de oppresso liberation.
Magnet
That is Bo.
Brent Tucker
And that's the guy. I said, I told you. I said, you know what? Greg could be Bo's dad. He was a guy from 10th group. One of the Q course together. Another great Texan.
Andy Stumpf
Cool.
Brent Tucker
Great refers to him. Not Texas. Nothing against Texas. Nothing against it. But you know. Yeah. I, I lean towards Florida.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
But yeah. And he was guest number one on. On our. On our show. Yeah, he was great dude. Great dude.
Drew Hansen
And remember 50 for the fallen and
Brent Tucker
I was telling you about the 50 for the fallen event in. Yeah.
Greg Coker
So.
Brent Tucker
And there's another chance for us to plug it. We'll be there. Guys. Go to 54thefallen.com. That's 50ftf.com.org.org Geesh. Thank you, Drew. Yep. It's a non profit. Should be a. Chances are it's a dot org and come hang out with us. And I don't use the word celebrate, but let's not forget.
Andy Stumpf
Yeah.
Greg Coker
Let's honor.
Brent Tucker
Let's honor.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
September 11th. What better place to do it on its 25th anniversary than right there in the heart of New York City, Regardless of who their mayor is.
Andy Stumpf
Yeah.
Greg Coker
If he allows it.
Brent Tucker
Some tells me he's not going to be a guest speaker.
Magnet
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
Okay.
Drew Hansen
Steve says spent many years hiking and hunting in Montana National Forest, Otter Creek and Mozart Mountain area. Best wild animal story from the long walk. I have seen a lot of different game in those mountain laurel patches.
Brent Tucker
I didn't see. I didn't see any wildlife while I was there. But then again, it's kind of hard to see wildlife when you're moving out at the high rate of speed that I was moving out at.
Drew Hansen
Blur.
Brent Tucker
Yeah, the slower guys are going to see wildlife. You know, they're out there strolling, taking pictures. Yeah, yeah. Not me. I'm moving like a deer. Okay. Like a rabbit deer up and down the mountain.
Drew Hansen
The wildlife he saw might have been you.
Brent Tucker
Look at that gazelle. Oh, I wish that were the truth.
Magnet
At least you weren't getting chased by a basic bison.
Brent Tucker
Yeah, but I do know of other guys that did get chased by bears. And. And it sucks to hear those stories because there's. If you think about it, essentially there's two ways you can be chased on Azmuth, and at the end of the day, that's kind of a good thing. Like you're gonna make good time or back Azmuth, and now you're gonna lose a bunch of time. And I don't. I don't know what.
Magnet
I don't.
Matt Bissonnette
It's.
Brent Tucker
I don't know what we would do for a guy that's like, hey, I'm like 30 minutes late because I got chased by a bear. But that would be. That would suck.
Magnet
You see the bison video?
Greg Coker
Oh, the.
Brent Tucker
The man that flipped into the air with the bison all over the Internet. Oh, man, he got launched.
Greg Coker
Buffalo.
Brent Tucker
Absolutely. Launch. You know, there's. There's a. There's a bison here in Florida. Like, they're smaller, but we have them here in Florida. I think there's one out there by Christmas. Y.
Drew Hansen
There's a pasture out there.
Brent Tucker
I'm tell you, they're one of my favorite animals. If I can get some land, I'm telling you, I'm putting a big headed bison on that land.
Magnet
I'm going to shoot it and eat it.
Brent Tucker
You're not invited. All right. You're not invited.
Magnet
You won't know I'm there.
Brent Tucker
What's next?
Greg Coker
G. Pressure.
Drew Hansen
JB says for a SWAT team clearing a standard US home during the day, not hr that's on methodically pying doorways in a linear hallway. Thoughts on that? Does the number of open doors change your answer? If so, why sure.
Brent Tucker
There's a lot to unpack there. Because it really has to do is of who is this guy? Do we. Do we think he's armed and dangerous like that?
Tim Kennedy
That.
Brent Tucker
That changes your tactics? It absolutely does. Hallways. Hallways are bad.
Magnet
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
And I would go fast in a hallway because it's bad. However, the deeper I get down this hallway and we still haven't found them means at some point you are going to run into him. But really, it's almost. And I don't know how the situation of the hallway is. If there's a bunch of opposing doors. Now we have opposing threats. That's a problem. Are they further staggered? If they're staggered, as I get to the end, it's at least an option to me. If, If I want to slow down, do I have a shield? I got a lot of questions, but those are things I'm. I'm thinking about and I'm going through, through my matrix of, okay, I am going to slow down at some point if we don't run into them, and this is why. And when I'm going to slow down. If we're at the very end of the hallway and it's the very last door, and we know this guy is an absolutely menaceous society and wants to kill a cop. Yeah, I'm probably gonna pie off that. That last door with. With a shield.
Tim Kennedy
Yep.
Drew Hansen
All right, it's 8:36. If you. We want to take care of the first hour business.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
Thank you. I was thinking the same thing. Let's, let's. Let's get to it. Got to give the people what they want.
Magnet
What do they want?
Brent Tucker
They want me to break down this Tim Kennedy thing. All right, let me set the stage just real quick. And this part, obviously, we're not going to watch the whole thing. I just kind of went to the meat and potatoes of it, which is really in the middle of the interview right now. Brian is essentially telling him, or Tim selling Brian about, hey, what is a deployment? And he's basically saying, you know, there were guys out there who were lobbying, you know, these allegations against me and said that I barely deployed, but I deployed a lot. I. When I said I deployed dozens of times. Dozens.
Greg Coker
Dozens.
Brent Tucker
Let me tell you what I meant by that is like, if, you know, if I. If I went to a combat zone working for an NGO and I deployed to that combat zone, is that a deployment? Well, I will help you out, Tim. The answer is no. If. If. And. And he's asking this question, and here's the thing. I believe he truly believes this. So it's a weird thing. Is it a lie? Is it an embellishment? If that's what you truly believe? I'm not certain that that in Tim's mind he thinks any differently. And I'm not going to do this on everything, but I'm, I, I'm telling you, I'm going to be fair on this. And so when Tim says if I, I just, if, if my company deploys me to Belgium to work with the Belgian special operations unit, is that a deployment? Well, here's the answer to that. Technically, that's a deployment. Yes, Technic, because you were deployed. But here's the problem. Everything has to do with context. Right. If me and you are talking about our experiences in combat, right. And we're, and we're talking about firefights, and then I tell you, oh, I should know. I've deployed 10 times to Afghanistan.
Greg Coker
Yes.
Brent Tucker
Or you know, I said to Afghanistan, so that's that I should know. I deployed 10 times. What am I, what, what am I inferring that I've deployed combat compliance 10 times? The, the context of what he was talking about, when he was talking about it had to do with combat experience. So when you say deployments, he was talking about combat deployments. So it was an easy reference that he's talking about combat deployments. By the way, I don't, I don't count. I just don't. Because when I say deployments, it's understood. Deployments really, to the veteran community.
Greg Coker
Yes.
Brent Tucker
Really means one thing. Combat deployments.
Greg Coker
Yes.
Brent Tucker
No one cares that I went to South America. And, and then here's another thing that, that he brings up. And we'll get to it here in just a second. We can get ahead of it just for a second. He did some contracting gigs. Now here's where it gets into a gray area. I'm gonna play devil's advocate just for a second. Here's where it gets into a gray area. Are contracting gigs into Afghanistan or Iraq? Should they. This is an honest question to you, not leading at all. This honest question. You. Should they be counted as your deployment total when you have combat deployments, or should you say, or should they be split up differently?
Greg Coker
Split.
Brent Tucker
Absolutely they should. In my opinion. Yes, they should be split differently. And here's the big reason why most people don't know this. Now there's a very, very, very, very, very small percentage that's a little bit different with some three letter, Three letter agencies.
Greg Coker
Yep.
Brent Tucker
But contractors do not go offensive. They're not kinetic. They cannot be. They're not a part of the military. They are hired by that particular company, that company owns them. And Northrop Grumman can't send a kill team to Afghanistan. Now if, let's say you're working for A three letter agency. And that three letter agency does have the authority to go connect. Well, you're working under that. And that's what I mean by the very, very, very small, small portion of it. So the only thing you're doing is logistical or defensive work and the restrictions, protection. And if the risk isn't the same and you're doing it for a lot more money, it's a. It is a different title. You're not doing it for your love of money. Oh, gosh. You're not doing it for your love of country.
Magnet
That's like you doing the stuff for the Sentinel Foundation.
Brian Callan
Right?
Magnet
Those aren't deployments.
Brent Tucker
Should I now add my Ukraine trips as my deployment? Russia was there.
Greg Coker
All our td.
Brent Tucker
Yeah.
Greg Coker
Did I deploy?
Brent Tucker
So this is what this conversation is that, that we're about to, to roll into. So let's, let's do it, Drew. And by the way, for like the first five, three, four minutes or so, we're going to put it on two speed because it's, it's, it's kind of too much to cover and you guys should be able to handle it at two speed.
Brian Callan
This episode is brought to you by Starbucks.
Brent Tucker
That is fire.
Drew Hansen
Whoa, that's good.
Brent Tucker
This might be the drink of the summer.
Drew Hansen
Okay, I like this one too.
Brent Tucker
I'm rocking with it. Okay, try it for yourself. Starbucks refreshers concentrates are coming home.
Brian Callan
Find them in the coffee aisle and make it yours. Organizations were not humanitarian.
Tim Kennedy
Some were not.
Brian Callan
Some were. Some were, but some were.
Tim Kennedy
Some humanitarian missions were.
Brian Callan
Can I say this much? We have to. Can I say this much? Okay, I'm just say this. There were a number of times you went overseas not with Green Berets, where your activities were not humanitarian. They were not. They were not for public. They were not for publicity. They were in a kinetic capacity. They were. They were where you were in a combat capacity.
Tim Kennedy
Absolutely true. That's probably been.
Brian Callan
And by the way, that's been up
Tim Kennedy
until rather recently, 75% of my work.
Brian Callan
75% of your work. So. Okay, I just want to get that out there. And that's what I kept saying to you, Tim. I was like, is there a way to get the people that are very critical, is there a way to. How do they not know that part of the story? Do they not know that part of the story? What they seem to be guys where. Some of these guys are tier one guys. They got everybody's friends with everybody.
Brent Tucker
Okay, so let's, let's address this Just, just real quick now of that very Very small part that that goes Kinetic. I, in fairness, I knew, I knew Tim did some contracting work. I didn't know to what extent. And my podcast was never over his contracting work because he didn't write it in the book. And so I didn't feel a need to. To cover it. He don't really talk about it a lot publicly. And so if I don't really know why in his, like, I'm. I'm coming clean, like, where he talks about that, other than to kind of hype himself up about it. And, and I get it, like, to some degrees, like, hey, like, I did. I did. I did more than just that. So I don't. I'm not saying that it was unfair for, for him to bring this up, but for. And Brian wouldn't know this. I don't know about it. I didn't cover it. I didn't. I didn't care. Wasn't Valor only is. Is. Is only accredited to your military experience, generally speaking.
Matt Bissonnette
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
And that's the only thing that, that, that mattered to me. I'll say this. Since that episode, it wasn't a lot of time, but I reached out to all of my friends that some of them been doing. I can kind of over one hand, like 10 and 15 years of contracting work.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
And I said, hey, I just want to know, do you or anyone you know, have you ever worked with Tim Kennedy as a contractor? And they, and they all said, no, that doesn't mean that he hasn't contract. That's not what I'm saying. I'm just saying. And he, and you can't hide him. Like, if you worked with Tim Kennedy on a contract, you would know. You would know it. So I, I did that because the people I reached out to would know about certain people that do kinetic or can do kinetic operations, and they've. And they don't know about them. That's not 100% saying, well, Tim, Ken's lying about this. That is not what I'm saying. No, but Brian is right. If you want me to know about that, well, then, then tell me. Tell you tell me tell. You know, tell the world. And this is that I have a little bit of a problem with. He's gonna go, well, it was, it was real sensitive. I can't really talk about that. Well, you wrote a book about the SIF company working for JSOC and going after high value targets like Zarqawi, and you mentioned the Delta Force being on the same task force. So if you can talk about that. But you draw the line at contracting.
Greg Coker
Yeah. Come on, man.
Drew Hansen
You also wrote you did war crimes.
Brent Tucker
So, so that's. So that it doesn't make sense to me. And then Brian even says, hey, like you told me, like, why won't you tell the world? Yeah, well, now I have another take on it. If you can, and this is not a slight on Brian, don't get me, but if you can tell a comedian, you told a comedian.
Greg Coker
Yep.
Brent Tucker
But you can't.
Greg Coker
No clue.
Brent Tucker
That's no clue. But you're not going to tell the world. Well, I. I don't. You know, what do you. What do you want me to do? What do you want me to do with that? You know, so, you know, maybe I'll find out more and be like, hey, believe it or not, I've. I've never been too proud to say. To say I'm wrong, but I'm just saying, gathered with the evidence that I have, I. I don't. It's not. It's not looking good. I'll. I'll just say that. All right, let's. Let's see what else we got.
Tim Kennedy
Maybe they're not, and I don't know, man. I'm very, very, very intentional, and I will not. I think, like, the veteran hate on hate thing is a travesty, and I haven't participated in it whatsoever, and I'm totally out of it.
Brent Tucker
This is the only time where I know it's going to stop. Real quick, back to back. But I have to address this. Nothing is worse than you calling it veteran hate on hate. This is veteran accountability. Like, I didn't do this because I hate you or because I hate other successful veterans.
Greg Coker
Sure.
Brent Tucker
If that was true, why would I just pick out you and not pick out David Goggins?
Tim Kennedy
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
Or if. If you can go down the list, if that were true, why didn't I go start a fight with Evan Haer? Yeah, you know, this. There's a lot of. Because this isn't just random hate. This is calling out the truth.
Greg Coker
Yes.
Brent Tucker
And what's worse is he calls it, you know, veteran hate on hate here, but if you keep rolling it, he's now about to kind of accept his fate of like, oh, yeah, I lied. So. So it's not just veteran eight on eight.
Drew Hansen
Well, when you're on the wrong side of accountability, you want to stay out
Brent Tucker
of it, so you're right. Yeah. Yeah, I bet you would want to stay out of it. But okay, let's. Let's see what else he says.
Tim Kennedy
And the guys that, you know, were being critical of me, they'd have every right to be. Some of their criticisms were, were founded in mistakes, overstatements, inaccuracies. You and my Life through Color lenses. Like all of the things, especially like when you're at the top, you know, and you're writing a book and it's super exciting. You're carried away with a moment and Absolutely. Big fish stories.
Brian Callan
Okay, so. Okay, let's talk about that. So there were some fish stories told. Oh, yeah. And I can just see people going, call it as lies, embellishments, exaggerations.
Tim Kennedy
All right, 100.
Brian Callan
Okay, so that's, that's a big admission.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brian Callan
Then. And I think it's really important to at least, like, dilate on that, because if that's the case, then whatever you, the price you're paying is worth, like, you kind of deserve it. Yes.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
This is where earlier I gave Brian a bunch of kudos. I mean, again, I'm going to be as fair as I can about this. And people are really upset about Tim calling it fish stories. I. I don't know what it is. And sometimes, like, maybe you, you find. I just, it just. I have a feeling he's getting maybe some advice from people. Or maybe he's worried about sponsors. Maybe he's worried about his book deal coming back on him. If he says, like, hey, I lied. Yeah, like there may be some legitimate concern, he's like, well, let me call it fish stories. But of course, the, the problem with that is the source a fish stories. Like, hey, I caught a, I caught a five pound bass, but I'm telling everyone it's an eight pound bass. Like that. That's an exaggeration.
Greg Coker
Sure.
Brent Tucker
The problem is, is not some of them were fish stories. I don't like that term. But hey, it is a term and everyone understands what it means, which is why I don't. They just. Fish stories wasn't the problem. No, there were fish stories for sure. Some were fish stories and some were just lies.
Greg Coker
Lies.
Brent Tucker
But Brian comes out and holds him. A comedian comes out and says, hey, let's just call it what it is. It's. It's lies. And then Tim goes, yeah, yeah. So let's just take a step back for a second and there will be some things that I will be fair and I will call out on here. But let me tell you, Tim just admitted to lying in his book. And don't get this twisted. I'm not sitting here celebrating, like, look, I told you, he's a liar. We we're beating a dead horse with that. Everyone, everyone knows that that is a form of accountability, even though people may not like it and they're going to say, hey, well, he kind of got pushed into using that word. He agreed with it. And God, I mean, what do you, the Internet, nothing, nothing will ever be good enough for the Internet. No, it really doesn't matter what he did, you know, outside of just completely falling on his face and just going line by line in his book and going, page 37, lie, page 42. This was a lie. And to some people, maybe he should have done that. But again, I'm, I'm not the jury on what I'm not, I'm not the judge. And what apology or what confession or what is, is good enough. I can say what's kind of good enough for me. And I'm not telling you, hey, this is my opinion. So what I say, all you guys should, should fall in line. It's not, it's not what I'm saying. But I started this. I started this. And I'm telling you, you, to me, you do have to grade people on a curve just a little bit. And I'm going to give him grace and go, you know what? At the beginning of my Tim Kennedy episode, I said, hey, if you apologize about this, if you admit that you lied and you change your ways, I'll be the first one to welcome you back in the fold. I said that. And I never said this is how he has to apologize. I never said this is how it has to happen. I just said, if you did it, did it. And so there is some, I don't know, what's the word I'm looking for? But some, you know, my conscience is hitting me a little bit going, hey, like you said, that you didn't exactly have the terms of agreements. And then when he does come out and say it, you're going to also be the one that Dog piles on and says, not good enough. Yeah, not good enough. So anyway, I know that's a little bit of a rant, but I've done a lot of talking negative about Tim Kennedy and he's given me something to talk positive about him. And I would, I would be the jerk that some people think I am if I didn't do that.
Magnet
When you originally did it, you didn't do the whole book.
Brent Tucker
I didn't even do the whole book. I never did the pull out of Afghanistan. I never did some of the earlier stories with I, I, I ended up covering some of his earlier stories. Eventually, but I, I. It was mainly. It was without a doubt mainly focused on his combat operations.
Magnet
Yeah. Yeah.
Brent Tucker
All right, let's. Let's keep going.
Brian Callan
Drew, you don't get with anything. Like, at the end of the day, you know, we get carried away. We have a tendency. Everything's working out for us to think we're one of God's favorites. This is where God chin checks you. I mean, as I get older, I become more religious.
Tim Kennedy
Man, you experience that pretty.
Brian Callan
You get ch. Minute you start thinking that you're. You're, you know, you're the guy. God goes, excuse me. Are you thinking that you're the responsible for all your success here?
Brent Tucker
Oh.
Brian Callan
Oh, you're your own God. That's it.
Andy Stumpf
And.
Brian Callan
And you should. And that's a really big and important thing to dilate on here, because I want to. I got just some of the questions and I think, you know, again.
Tim Kennedy
List.
Brian Callan
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
All right. He's about to get into the list, and we'll go by, you know, down these one by one. But again, I tell you what, I tell you why I think I have some. Some reasons to be positive about Tim Kennedy. He has a friend like Brian Callan that is, again, I couldn't be any more impressed with a guy who's doing a good job of holding. He's. He's already said it before. He said, hey, I'm. We're good friends. The way he pushed back and attempted to hold Tim accountable was. Was admirable.
Matt Bissonnette
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
And magnet. Don't you think?
Magnet
Can I say what he didn't have on the list?
Brent Tucker
The Purple Heart. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. There are some things he didn't have on the list. But, but overall, if, If. If Brian stays and people like Brian are. Are surrounding Tim, and we'll. We'll give him good advice and he'll do it.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
I think there's. There's some, you know, there's. There's some, Some hope, you know, after that. And, and again. And if some people just expect him to make the full change right off the bat, maybe. Yeah, maybe that's just. Maybe that's too much, you know, and maybe this does come in increments. I, I don't know. I. But if it is going to get better and better, I know this is a good start.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
May not be good enough. It's a good start. Let's go down. Let's go down this list.
Brian Callan
Star with valor device. And you falsely claimed or implied in the 2017 interview that you see the Bronze Star metal with V for valor. Yeah. A device for combat heroism when official records show you received the Bronze Star without it for meritorious leaders. Now, I want to talk about that. One of the things that I. That I saw, one of the things that I also remember several times, put some clips together. I don't know why you put out, but dude. So one of the things, over and over again, I saw a compilation of you in interviews, big interviews, Fox, all that, where they said he said he won a Bronze Star with V for valor. And you would say, I want to correct the record. I never got a V for valor.
Tim Kennedy
You said that I don't know how many times. 100,000 times.
Brian Callan
It was literally that much.
Tim Kennedy
Yes.
Brian Callan
Okay, so, so, but in. Again, you're the worst with this.
Tim Kennedy
But I also, like, stepped. I put my foot in my mouth in a 27 interview. I was. I was on a phone call with
Brian Callan
this podcast you did.
Matt Bissonnette
I don't know.
Brian Callan
You're the worst.
Tim Kennedy
This is 10 years ago.
Brent Tucker
Stop it right there just for a second. Again, here's. Here's some credit that I can give Tim. He could have continued down that road because Brian kind of gave him an out and said, hey, I also saw clips of you saying, I didn't do it. I didn't do it. Compilations. You should put that out. I. I want to say for the record, I never saw. I never saw that. Had I seen that. And still. And never put that in. My initial podcast was like, this is just him claiming to have one, but never showed him not claiming to have one. That would be. That would be ingenious, disingenuous. That wouldn't. That wouldn't be cool. I never saw it. I don't know why Tim won't put that out. I have a speculation, and I'm sorry if it's a negative speculation, maybe. And I call. I called Nate, Nate from Valhalla, who covered this extensively with me, and I said, nate, did you ever see an interview or anything with him correcting the record? And he said, no, I never saw it either, Brent. So whether they were live things and I missed it because they were live and he just knew which ones to, you know, reach out to Fox. Hey, can I get this clip? I wouldn't have access to that. I've never seen it. But I. And again, this is just me being a little negative. So I want to make sure, like, that I don't know for a fact. I have a sneaky suspicion he. Maybe he doesn't put it out because he started correcting the record after he was Called out.
Greg Coker
Called out.
Brent Tucker
And not before, but I don't know.
Drew Hansen
Well, here's what I remember.
Brent Tucker
I haven't seen that I would love. And again, Brian's giving the good advice. If you have it, post it again. I've showed tonight. I've always said this. I will be fair like you. You give me something to defend you with, and I'll say, yeah, there it is. What you got, Drew?
Drew Hansen
Well, let me get my glasses on. All right, so this is what I remember when all this took place. And that is when you called him out. He actually made a video saying, hey, the reason why DD214 doesn't say what it says because it's outdated. Remember that he never tried to correct the valor situation. He never tried to correct the Purple Heart. He made excuses and basically said fu. And that you got the information wrong with the DD214. Never tried to correct the. The. The narrative.
Brent Tucker
He did. I'm the. The clip of him saying fu. Fu to me. I'm not that. That's in the past, you know, and I'm gonna judge you off the latest version of you. Is it. This is the version, you know, I'm. I'm going to. To grade Tim off of. Yeah.
Greg Coker
Have you seen his DD214?
Brent Tucker
Yeah, yeah, it's. It. You know, the DD214. His argument ended up being. It's old. Yeah, it was a 2010, but. Okay, but the. The 2010 DD14 is off of a 2006 and 2008 deployment. So that is a current DD214 for those. For those things. So that's. That's where he's wrong on that.
Magnet
He mentioned the new. He mentioned it again on this. On this podcast.
Brent Tucker
Yeah, I know.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
But he. He goes back and again, to give him credit, he's the one who circles back and says, but you know what? I did screw up. He's the one who circled it back to the 2017 podcast of him actually saying something, and he could have taken that out that Brian was kind of giving him.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
And he's the one that said, but you know what? I want to circle back on this. I did say this in 2017. Good on you. Good on you.
Greg Coker
Let's.
Brent Tucker
Let's see. Let's see what he has to say about that 2017 interview where he does. Explicitly claimed to have a bronze star with V. And he even tells the story of how he got it.
Tim Kennedy
Okay, while I'm on the phone, in case you have a bon Star with
Brent Tucker
valorant regular speed on this,
Brian Callan
guys and you blah, blah, blah. Yeah. And you know that, that one thing
Tim Kennedy
that, well, that one thing is an absolute mistake. I mean a great example is I'm on the Lance Armstrong's podcast and I'm trying to like use Lance Armstrong's vernacular and I'm like, man, gun control is, you know, like all forms of gun laws are good gun laws, all gun laws are gun control. So gun control can be good because there are some good gun laws. And then everybody's like, Tim Kennedy's for gun control. Like, did I mean to say that?
Drew Hansen
No.
Brian Callan
When you do enough, when you do enough talking and podcasting, you're gonna get bodied.
Brent Tucker
So I'll give them that real quick. You're gonna say he got a lot of hate for being an anti anti 2 a guy for that very interview. I never mentioned that against him because as bad as that sounds, I don't believe Tim kennedy be an anti2a guy. He, he did, he did say those things, but his actions and, and him in the gun industry says something else. And I'm, I've things that I wish I would have phrased differently. It, it is, it sucks when you give your opinion.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
In front of a mic that's recorded and you say something at a time, you don't, you don't get back, you don't get it back, you don't get it back. And so I'm, I'm, I will, I will give him that one.
Matt Bissonnette
I, I, he's going into that because
Magnet
of what he's did in the 2017 thing. That's why he's bringing that up.
Brent Tucker
Right. But I agree, I just want to be fair and say I agree with him on that. I'm not going to, I'm not going to call him anti two way. That would, that would prove that I have an ax to grind. And I'll take anything to make you look a little clip.
Magnet
Right.
Brent Tucker
I won't do that. I, I don't, I agree with what he's saying here. Let's see what else he says.
Brian Callan
And I don't know anybody who escapes it. I don't know anybody who escapes the public car wash that you've got stand still for when, when you, when you're at the top of your game. You were basically a politician. Okay.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brian Callan
Now, now again, I would implore you at, you know, to release that compilation or hundreds of times. You said I want to. Correct. I never want a V. Sounds like a good idea.
Tim Kennedy
I took my foot and I put it in my mouth in, in like I think one or two interviews where they were asking, why did you do that? I don't know if I was paying attention. I don't know if I absolutely carried away.
Brian Callan
But it's so weird, Tim, because you. You corrected the record over and over again. But these two times, you. You said. Yeah, I did, yeah.
Brent Tucker
What?
Brian Callan
Do you understand what's going on?
Tim Kennedy
Not paying attention, trying to sound awesome to another guy.
Brian Callan
Oh, is that what it was? Yeah.
Tim Kennedy
I mean, like, could it be all of those things? Absolutely. Like playing with a dog, trying to
Brian Callan
sound awesome to another guy that you don't even know.
Tim Kennedy
That I don't even know for sure.
Brian Callan
Isn't it funny how you. It's like. It's like you can build a bridge. You can. You can. You can create hospitals, and then you one go and you're a goat.
Brent Tucker
All right, let's stop that here just for a second. And again, I. I'm just being fair about this.
Tim Kennedy
I'm.
Brent Tucker
I'm actually. And please wait till we're done with this so you can really hear my true opinion on this holistically. But I will take these bits and pieces and be fair where I feel like I should. Well, it can't be. This is like your. Your either or. Like your either or can't be. I wasn't paying attention or I was trying to impress another guy. Like, those are two wildly different things.
Greg Coker
Mutually exclusive.
Brent Tucker
Mutually exclusive things. So. But, you know, this is an interview, and, you know, maybe he's just saying things off. Off the cuff, but here's. Here's the problem with that. I'm gonna lean towards. You were trying to impress another man or impress people, because you didn't just randomly say yes, and you were playing with your dog, holding a kid, and you weren't paying attention because he asked you. He goes, how did you earn that valor award? And then he went into a story and said, well, basically, there's a bad guy, and he was shooting at us, and. And I took him out. And I'm paraphrasing it, but that's like 90% accurate. And that told the world. Like, well, that's not. That's not a valor award. That's. Yeah, there's the humble thing of you were just doing your job. And then there's the literal thing if you were just doing your job, and that's that. And that won't get it. So I have to give. I have to give pushback on that. He's. He's a little bit being too wave top with this, and I Don't believe he's taking enough accountability of what he actually did. Like I denied it a bunch of times. Not. Not that I saw. And that wasn't the only time that you said you had a. Had a valor on this one 2017 podcast. Let's. Let's keep going.
Greg Coker
Drew, what does teammates say?
Brent Tucker
Yes, his teammates knew he didn't. Didn't have one as. As well. And he knows he didn't have one and he admits it.
Tim Kennedy
I have never had any intimacy with any animals. It's like I just want to do really clear.
Brian Callan
So crazy how. How I. I implore you to at least release that it's not going to change a thing. Again, people are already coming.
Andy Stumpf
This guy.
Brian Callan
I. I get it.
Magnet
But.
Brian Callan
But at the end of the day, it was so. Again, that was so puzzling to me because the first thing I said to you and to Shane, I go. But I saw a compilation of him. Him correcting the record over and over again. Why the. Did he say he'd won one? It made no sense.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Tim Kennedy
And like again, attention to detail.
Brian Callan
Some podcast that nobody has ever listened to.
Tim Kennedy
Wikipedia ends up with me with a BSM with V. Then I'm walking on stage, people are introducing me and they take the wiki bio and they're like, hey, so you have a BSM with V& you're like on stage in this, you know, a paid speaking engagement. And you're like, man, I. I hate to correct you, like, but no, I. I have a bronze star and I'm proud to have. Bronze star. That was for Iraq. An amazing deployment. Was three.
Brian Callan
I think you should release. I think you should release it now.
Brent Tucker
I'm just gonna like, this is. This is as bad as it's gonna get from here to. To some degree. He says that they got a hold of it from Wikipedia. Of course, Wikipedia. Anyone can put anything on Wikipedia. And these speaking engagements are pulling things off of a, you know, a non official site, Wikipedia. And that's where he's going off of it. I've done speaking engagements. Guess where they get your bio from? Yeah, the one you submit to them now.
Greg Coker
Send it to them.
Brent Tucker
I send it to him now again, that is. I'm not sitting here telling Tim Kennedy that he sent his bio out to every single person. I don't know that that is an assumption. I'm telling you where. Where I normally get it from. He does way more speaking engagements than I ever will in my life. Is that possible that happened? Absolutely, that's possible. It happened. But for him to Say like wicked. Like blame Wikipedia. There's another place you can blame. And let's. Let's pull that up.
Matt Bissonnette
Drew,
Brent Tucker
this is Tim Kennedy.com his website. Go ahead, Drew.
Tim Kennedy
Starting United States Army 7 Special Forces
Matt Bissonnette
Group and seen tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan.
Brent Tucker
Who earned a bronze star medal and. Excuse me, who earned a bronze star
Matt Bissonnette
medal for valor under fire.
Tim Kennedy
That is a bronze star medal with
Matt Bissonnette
V device, which he does not have on his own website.
Tim Kennedy
Department of Defense.
Brent Tucker
See this part of the thing too. That is. That is straight now. He has corrected his website since then, but let's not pretend like the Internet doesn't exist and there are places where we can pull. Where your website did have it. You just told. You just told Brian, your friend, and you had him on there and he doesn't know enough about this to check them and blames it on Wikipedia.
Magnet
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
When it was on your own official website. That's not the only place it was on. I could. We could be here for a while pulling up things. I can just. I'm not gonna have Drew do it if timkennedy.com doesn't do it for you. I don't have to do anything else. There's his own Instagram and Facebook page. Facebook pages where he wrote I won valor awards for every combat deployment I was ever on.
Greg Coker
He's.
Brent Tucker
He said that those were his posts. So this isn't a you build a hundred bridges and you F1 goat situation. That. That is. Tim, we. We have to do better on that one. If I do believe he wants to do better, but we can't do better with. With a hint of. Of the old and trying to soften the blow.
Greg Coker
Yeah. You know, so deep down the. Well, now he's just trying to add dirt to come out of it. Yeah.
Drew Hansen
I'd like to see that compilation as well and of correcting the narrative. And I. And I hope that compilation is post Brent Tucker.
Brent Tucker
Yeah. And. And. But guess what? Even if it is, you get credit for that.
Greg Coker
Yes.
Brent Tucker
You get you. And yeah, I hate that he left that up for interpretation because he didn't say if it was post, you know, me calling him out or prior. But you know what if it's out there and he's been doing that good. Like that's the change. That's the change we need. Good. But this is the change. But this doesn't show change to say that they got it from Wikipedia. And either for you to forget that it was on your website or you to forget you posted that on Instagram and Facebook look, that's. That's not a. That's not a good look. We'll just say that. All right, let's go back to it and see what else we got. Now. Now they're going to go into a. Like a literal kind of line by line, you know, questionable or. Or question about. About his stories.
Brian Callan
He's gonna eat a dick. Yeah, you got.
Tim Kennedy
You have to put my. Put my foot in my mouth. Said something stupid.
Brian Callan
That's fair.
Tim Kennedy
By answering a question. That's fair. Not paying attention.
Drew Hansen
You can't.
Brian Callan
One goat.
Tim Kennedy
Is it ever gonna happen again? I don't know.
Brent Tucker
Tim, don't do that.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
Is it ever gonna happen again? I don't know.
Brian Callan
We've already covered the embellishment in a number of combat deployment and trips overseas.
Brent Tucker
I think he's just being entertaining there.
Brian Callan
I mean, I'd like to say more, but we can't.
Tim Kennedy
No, that's good.
Brian Callan
So those are the two things also that I forgot to mention was that I had seen that compilation. So again, it was so confusing. Ranger School.
Tim Kennedy
Yeah.
Brian Callan
Ranger School achievement. Did Tim Kennedy misrepresent his Ranger School compilation by publicly claiming honor graduate status, contrary to accounts from investigators and his later admissions?
Brent Tucker
And you can two times.
Brian Callan
Mistakes contributed partly to editing.
Tim Kennedy
Yep. So in Ranger School, I went with three awards. You had graduates, you had undergraduate for an officer and nco, and you had leadership award. So I received a leadership award. So I got an awesome tomahawk. I gave it to my dad. You know, my team sergeant came, my company commander came. It was awesome. I graduated range school. I'm proud to be a Ranger. And I was one of. I can't say honor graduates. I was one of the extra people that received an award at the end of Ranger School. So when I was writing book, I said I was an honor graduate. That is inaccurate. As I received. I should have said I was the leadership recipient for that class.
Brian Callan
Yeah, you military guys with all your. With all your rankings and all your,
Tim Kennedy
like, citations are really a big deal and to be an honor. So, like. But those distinctions are different. And again, being precise with your words,
Brian Callan
is it because you're. You have ADHD and you just not.
Tim Kennedy
Not paying attention, not going back and reviewing, not, you know, in my mind, I'm. I'm understanding what I was as. As worthy people were in school with me for Ranger School. And so you said you were.
Brian Callan
You said you were an honor graduate. You want. You are a leadership.
Tim Kennedy
I got the Leadership Award, which is an honor, but it is not the distinguished honor graduate Is higher. Yeah. Highest high. Undergraduate and leadership.
Brian Callan
When you said you are what I got the leadership. But you said in the book I got the honor.
Tim Kennedy
I was an undergraduate.
Brian Callan
Not distinguished undergraduate, but an undergraduate.
Tim Kennedy
Websites your competitors don't want you to know part two.
Brent Tucker
Here's all you do is go to this website Skip, and it lets you find out for me to talk about this.
Greg Coker
Do you?
Brent Tucker
Here's the problem. He starts out strong with taking accountability. And I love to see that. You know, and again, not in a like self grandizing. See I was right way.
Magnet
I'm.
Brent Tucker
I am happy for. For Tim too because I think Tim has a lot of good left to do and that he can do. But he can only do it if. If he starts out fresh, you know, and gives himself the best chance to. To do good things. He does a great job of taking accountability of it. But this is where he loses it again. And he kind of. And even. Even Brian is like, I don't know enough about these terms. Those terms are probably confusing to him, to any military man.
Greg Coker
It is not.
Brent Tucker
They are not confusing at all.
Greg Coker
At all.
Brent Tucker
And here's the problem. He. He didn't just say in his book he was honor graduate. He really inferred in his book that he was the distinguished autograph because he said the class. He was top of the class. He said that his team sergeant told him before he sent him the Ranger school, you graduate top of your class or you don't have a team to come back. Come, come, come home to paraphrasing it. But that is. That is told to him. And so if you know the whole. If that's all you knew was what Tim's answer was.
Greg Coker
Sure.
Brent Tucker
Brian probably like, okay, that makes sense. Yeah. You could have. You could have done better. But okay, but by knowing the whole book and what you actually wrote. That's. That's not really true.
Greg Coker
No.
Brent Tucker
And we're not. And he comes out so strong saying, yeah, I said stupid things. I said things I shouldn't have said. But then. But then he falls a little. He just falls short.
Greg Coker
That's an easy scapegoat too.
Brent Tucker
It is. All right, let's. So you know, that's another one. Let's. Let's keep going.
Brian Callan
Know why you said that?
Brent Tucker
Yang 2 exit.
Brian Callan
I mean not. You had to know that somebody was gonna check that out.
Tim Kennedy
I didn't think that I was. I think in my brain I was saying I was. I was one of the undergraduates, which I was. But I wasn't an honor graduate. I wasn't the distinguish on graduates, I
Brian Callan
got the leadership board, which is one below.
Tim Kennedy
Yes, absolutely.
Brian Callan
Okay. I don't know. I don't know how to hold your feet apart. I don't know. I'm just. Okay. So, so that was a. You read the book, right? Did you read your own book?
Tim Kennedy
Well, I. Once it was finished. Then in other words, did you.
Brian Callan
Did you do the book on tape for it?
Tim Kennedy
I did, I did. Now we're too late to make edits because the book's already printed and when you're doing your. When you're reading your own book, like books already published.
Brian Callan
Yeah.
Tim Kennedy
So when I was kind of going through it and reading my manuscript, I was like, I wonder if guys are gonna.
Brian Callan
I. But it was too late.
Tim Kennedy
And I was also. And I'm very proud of the book. You know, like when I wrote that book, it's in present tense. So, you know, for some chapters I'm an 11 year old kid.
Brian Callan
Oh yeah, we are an 11 year old kid in general.
Tim Kennedy
Yeah, for sure.
Brian Callan
I mean you're like, my friend's like, you're met him like the best coffee I've ever had in my life. You're the funniest person on the planet. He's the strongest guy. He's the greatest human being on planet. You're the most. You're the most. You exaggerate every minute of your life. It's either that's the greatest guy in the world or he should be eaten in death. There's no real ground with you. Not, not in any way. You're either all the way over here
Tim Kennedy
or you're all the way over here. You see this kind of time and time again, like bag of grenades. Like, did I get to that?
Brian Callan
Hold on. So, okay, it's a Ranger. We're going to get to that. You say you had. Okay, that's. I don't know what to say about that book. Combat Anecdotes. Spider Engagements in Enemy Forces Worthy.
Brent Tucker
And again, he just. Brian, poor Brian, he's like. I even admits I don't know enough to, to, to check you on that. And it's just I, I feel a little bit bad for Brian, but Brian is doing a great, a great job for, for what he's doing. I should have wrote that down. There's something else he said during that. But we'll, we'll keep going.
Magnet
There's.
Brent Tucker
There's plenty. There's plenty.
Drew Hansen
Like when he dressed down as commanding officer. I wonder if that's one of the. The times that he thought, I wonder If I'm gonna get any pushback from any.
Brent Tucker
Thank you for reminding me, Drew. It's. I don't. I don't know how to feel about. I. This. There's what I would do, but then again, I can't. I wasn't in a situation, so it's easy for. For me to say what I would do when I'm not in that situation. But you've written a book. You've written a book. I want to say. For him to say, I really don't know. It really seems as if he's kind of saying, I don't really know what was in the book until I read it and when I read it. That there were some issues. And now it's. It's too late to be honest. And I'm not sure that's true. Is. Is it going to be painful to correct that? Yeah. Yeah, it probably will. Will they be excited about you having to go back and correct the record? Yeah.
Andy Stumpf
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
Do you probably wish you would have done it now?
Greg Coker
Now?
Brent Tucker
Yeah. It. It's. It. It. You said it was too late. It's never too late to. To do the. To do the right thing.
Greg Coker
It's. And it's pretty easy too, to make corrections and. Yeah.
Brent Tucker
All right, let's go. Drew, what else we got?
Brian Callan
Detail stories, Scars and stripes about prolonged sniper rifle engagements against 20 enemies over multiple days in Afghanistan 2008, and encounters with elite Iranian freedom fighters. Accurate or embellished, slash fabricated as alleged by fellow service members who served on the same convoy.
Tim Kennedy
There are things in there that the elite Iranian forces in an E6 brain on a combat deployment to Afghanistan, his first time to Afghanistan. And what these are foreign fighters coming from Iran. Like, these are the things I'm writing in first person as best I can with the memories that I had, the notes and the journals I had from that time that first gonna be not the greatest source material. And I did not do due diligence. Going to talk to other people that were on that deployment to clarify I said other inaccurate things. There's one of the convoy commanders as any six not really fully respecting officers. I was like, you know, this guy's on his first com deployment, doesn't know anything about it. That was completely factually untrue. Kevin was a rock star and had already been on a bunch of combat deployments when he got there. But in the E6 brain that I'm looking at one of the. The commanders, I'm like, that guy doesn't know anything. And that's why I was Trying to write that book. Just like the 11 year old memories aren't going to be accurate, so the combat memories are going to be accurate that I had at the time.
Brent Tucker
But good on him for what he said about Kevin Keys, which was, which was, which was bad. It's like this guy has no experience. He's. He's the kind of two ground force commanders is what Tim's kind of put nap. The, the senior ODA team leader was the ground force commander. But, but he was kind of inferring that yeah, he's one of the officers on this thing, has no experience and that was a lie. And I found out he had, he came from Rager Regiment, he was an ODA commander and now he's an HHC major. I believe at the time he had a lot of combat experience.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
But I believed him in this. Like Tim E6 Tim probably looked at him and said what does this guy know? Yeah, he's, he probably has no combat experience and just, and just didn't know that. I, I will, I will buy that. That is, and that is probably, that is probably true. But Brian didn't ask the right question. He was talking about 20 people over multiple days. I know this because I did a podcast on it. If he'd have been better with his words, it would have forced Tim and to address an issue the 20 people he saw. But he said he went up to a sniper tower and firebase Anaconda and over the course of two days killed 20 people from that sniper position. But because he didn't really answer it correctly, Tim doesn't really answer it head on at, at the same time, you know, he goes on to talk about that which wasn't even in the question, but I do. Hey, he, he owned it. He said I shouldn't have done that. That guy was a, was a rock star. And again, I will give credit where credit's. If you give me something to, to give you credit for, I will do it. I'm looking for it.
Greg Coker
Yes.
Brent Tucker
All right, what else we got?
Drew Hansen
Brent, I don't know if you caught this. I thought one of the most intriguing parts of that snip was that he said that his firsthand experience and the notes that he took are not good sources for the information. So that really kind of puts a hole in everybody's you weren't there narrative because apparently that's not a good source of information when you were and took some notes.
Greg Coker
Yeah, he said he had a journal and took notes. So we always. And I started a journal on 9 11.
Brent Tucker
Did you?
Greg Coker
I did. And wrote in every day for eight years now. So those are your current thoughts, what you did. So the truth should be easy.
Brent Tucker
Yeah, you're absolutely right about that. And. And he does. Even though it should be easy, what you see and what you journal as a young guy can be wrong. I'm not saying factually, historically wrong. Like the lens or the perspective that you saw through could be wrong. And he admits it. He goes, I should have called my teammates. Yeah. And that's, that's, that's a great takeaway from that. You should have called your teammates. They would have, they would have helped you. All right, what else we got, Drew
Greg Coker
then?
Tim Kennedy
I also, like, said some stupid stuff that were without a doubt fish stories.
Brian Callan
Why
Tim Kennedy
make an awesome book, you know, make it.
Drew Hansen
That's a real answer, buddy.
Brent Tucker
That's a real answer.
Brian Callan
Fiction.
Drew Hansen
But it wasn't fiction.
Brian Callan
So I wish I had been there so I could be like, hey, say, hey, dude, you can't write that it didn't happen.
Tim Kennedy
Or the parts that did happen where I'm like, you know, 20 hour prolonged sniper fire. You know, Was it a couple hours?
Matt Bissonnette
Yes.
Tim Kennedy
Was it 20 hours?
Magnet
No.
Tim Kennedy
Were we in a tick for multiple days? Yes. In that tick where I'm like working with Czech special Forces who. All who are awesome, by the way. I love you guys. My deployment to Belgium, Fast forward now.
Brent Tucker
I was gonna just go back a random story.
Tim Kennedy
Can I call it exercise?
Brent Tucker
Yeah, yeah.
Tim Kennedy
Military.
Brent Tucker
Him and Robert, he'll kind of do this for that trip
Tim Kennedy
and talk to his talent commander now, who is another guy that's my convoy is now like their group commander. So he heard all about this pretty epic mission. And, you know, that was eight months deployment. And in that book, I think I pulled two stories of two missions during an eight month deployment. So, like, I also took a bunch of stuff that happened and put it.
Brian Callan
Not allowed to do that.
Matt Bissonnette
No.
Tim Kennedy
Can't do into one story.
Brian Callan
No. I'm not allowed to do that. Because what happens is you have comedian.
Tim Kennedy
Yeah.
Brian Callan
Like Delta Force guys, a squadron guys who go, I'm sorry, I don't have this. Math isn't making sense.
Tim Kennedy
Math's not math.
Brian Callan
So you deserve to get bodied.
Tim Kennedy
I did.
Brian Callan
And I don't.
Brent Tucker
Look at that.
Brian Callan
It's like you write.
Brent Tucker
I mean, hold on, let's pause it just for a second. So you got bodied? He's like, I did. And I just. And I deserve to do that. So that's where it's a little frustrating. And I know people want, want to watch Me do this, and some people think I was going to use this and just annihilate Tim again. And he's given me some things to. To do that if I. If I. If I wanted to.
Greg Coker
Yes.
Brent Tucker
But he's also given me some things that he's never done before. And I've just. I'll be damned if. If. If a guy is sitting there going, I lied. I. I wrote some stupid things. I shouldn't have done that. I got bodied, and I deserve that. I mean, there's. You have to pay attention to those words, too. You do.
Greg Coker
Do.
Brent Tucker
All right, Drew, let's.
Matt Bissonnette
Let's.
Brent Tucker
Let's keep going. See what he does. See what he does from here.
Brian Callan
It didn't dawn on you because you move at a hundred miles an hour and you got caught up in your fish story. It didn't dawn you that there were guys out there who had a lot of experience who were gonna go, this doesn't add up. How did. This is what drives me nuts about you.
Tim Kennedy
Yeah, I should have versed down.
Brian Callan
My friend said something really interesting about you. He said he was already Spider man, and Spider man got caught trying to put Superman's cape on. And I think it's a really accurate description of what happened. And you are Spider Man. I mean, you're a bad. There's nobody's gonna say the ones. You're just one of those guys. You don't get tired of me. One year, one of your Green Beret friends was telling a hilarious story. There were. You guys were in ranger school, and everybody was shot. It was like. It was 12 hours. Everybody was starving tired. At the end of. Everybody's literally, like, taking like, nobody can move, and they hear and they turn around. You're running sprints because you got a fight coming up, so, you know, you didn't have to do any of, like,
Tim Kennedy
four days after Rangers.
Brian Callan
I know. And this.
Tim Kennedy
I thought the weekend going into Ranger school, right? I went to Ranger school. Then I. When we got graduation done on the weekend, flew home on, like, Monday or Tuesday. I left on Friday or Thursday.
Brian Callan
I know. I try to keep up with you sometimes. And then I stop for her for a week after. And then everybody around me goes, don't do that with him. You're not gonna. I know that. And so, again, it's like, what drives me crazy about Scars and Stripes is you didn't have to do it. You were already. You were already. Nobody had any doubt that you were this bad motherfucker. And nobody had any doubt that you were. If it didn't happen. It could happen, you know, I mean I told you like when you would have, when you would fight you. The only person I saw that just didn't seem had any nerves. You got a video fight some monster and you were like, that's how you were.
Tim Kennedy
Yeah, I love fighting.
Brian Callan
Everybody I know was terrified before they thought no matter who they were. And you're like, hey look.
Magnet
Woo.
Brian Callan
11 year old. Let me go kill a fight. You know, again, it's like, do you know what psychologically was going on your head? Was it just like I can get away with anything.
Tim Kennedy
I'm sure there's like a little God complex in there.
Brian Callan
Yeah. Okay. This is progress.
Tim Kennedy
Yeah.
Brian Callan
I'm older than you, so I would have been like, hey, you can't do this. I'm like stop and draw a line through that sentence right there. We would have saved all this trouble.
Tim Kennedy
But listen, Nick, the guy that wrote that book, he's amazing writer, amazing human and you know, any, any call, any criticism that that guy has had is completely undeserved.
Brian Callan
No, he was just writing what you told him.
Tim Kennedy
That's right.
Magnet
Yeah.
Brian Callan
I would have done the same thing. He's a hell of. He. That guy's a good writer.
Tim Kennedy
He's great.
Brian Callan
He's a very talented dude. All right. But at least look, see this is really important that you're saying this stuff. This is more important. It's actually more important than my teeth. Though I do have the timid looking guy. Wounded Afghan girl incident. Did Tim Kennedy accurately describe the 2008 Afghanistan incident? Incident involving a wounded civilian girl, including the extended injuries. He later referenced minor ones. His actions cradling her for hours while singing. You're not a good singer. Sorry. And related details. If I was injured, the last person I want to be cradled by is. I've been cradled by you. I couldn't breathe, so that sucks. And then you singing. You're not a singer. All right. And related details or were key elements disputed by teammates who noted a quick medevac and more serious wounds. So let me read that again for injuries. He would later reference my ones his actions craven for hours while singing. And related details or work he elements disputed by teammates who noted a quick matter of fact in more serious wounds.
Tim Kennedy
Yeah, I don't know.
Brian Callan
Okay.
Tim Kennedy
I. I remember that girl getting hurt. When we stormed that complex. We. There were lots of kids in there. The one that was seriously wounded and they're you know in the triage of taking care of bunch people today mad back a girl that was the girl that was seriously wounded. And now I'm taking care of a different girl. So I honestly don't know. Like, as I remember, I remember that girl. I remember a bunch of kids getting hurt, as there were. I'm gonna call them foreign fighters as there were insurgents that were fighting this compound and we stormed this compound. Epic heroic moments by all those guys that were there. Don't want to disparage or dispute what they remember, but I remember those 15 hurt. I remember us collectively working on those kids. Did they med back them? I don't remember the medevac happening on the targets. And then once we got back, I wasn't there for their. Clearly what took place as other medifax, but I was there for the injured girl. So I'm gonna have to, like, push back because that's what I remember.
Brian Callan
Okay.
Magnet
All right.
Brent Tucker
All right, let's stop here just a second.
Andy Stumpf
That is.
Brent Tucker
That is a good question about him. You know, and to catch up the speed, basically, he throws a grenade in this. In this. In this compound, which did happen. He did throw a grenade in a compound. It's unfortunate. He threw a grenade where a family was, and he didn't hit any bad guys. They were taking fire from that compound. And he just unfortunately threw a grenade through a window where. Where a family was, and it hurt. The family didn't kill anyone, thankfully. But some people needed to be treated afterwards. And he said that in his book. When they got back to that little girl got evacuated back to Anaconda, and he held and cradled and sang and cried with that little girl until, you know, all night long, which is a great story. I would have been more interested. Now, that's a good story or a good question from Brian. I don't know where he's getting his questions from, but I would have. I would have been more interested to know about him having a sixth sense and pushing Brian. I'm gonna get his name wrong. Nobles. Believe it's Brian Nobles out of the doorway and like that heroic thing. And we'll never really get to the truth of that because the Brian that he. That he pushed is no longer with us. And some of the crazier stories he told, the guys are no longer with us. So we can't verify some of these crazy stories. And so that's. That's a little bit of a. Of a problem. So I would have liked to known about that. But he ends up saying, I don't know if it's the same girl. I held a little girl. And it may have been A. A different girl. He may be right. I will, I will. I want to give him the benefit of the doubt. Here's the problem, though. I've already seen you be a little less than truthful already on this. On this interview. In fact, I think it's Brian Goebbels. But anyway. And again, I've. I've been a ground guy, I've been an ODA guy. I've done these type of things. The chances of having two little girls.
Greg Coker
Yes.
Brent Tucker
And one so badly injured she's medevacked, and the other little girl so badly injured that she went back to the fire base to. I was like, that's. And okay. I mean, the chance that happening is. Is super small. But it ain't zero. But it ain't zero. And I don't know. So I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt on this. All right, let's keep going.
Tim Kennedy
Drew,
Brian Callan
how to follow up on that? Because I don't remember that. I remember the story about the grenade and the kids whimpering, crying. I don't remember the. Actually, I don't remember the part.
Tim Kennedy
The worst.
Brian Callan
Yeah, it is. I'm sure I'm not. You know, again, in the beginning of
Tim Kennedy
this one, it's, you know, we're knocking on 20 years.
Brian Callan
Yeah.
Tim Kennedy
15 years. When I wrote the book. 15 years of memory of a war. Imperfect. Yes, father. War.
Brent Tucker
Real.
Tim Kennedy
Absolutely emotional. Well, kicking off that. That troops in combat, that gunfight was an ID where I'm like the next vehicle in. So first vehicle gets absolutely destroyed with, I think everybody in that vehicle dying. I'm the next vehicle behind that. Like bell. Wrong. Absolutely messed up. And the next, you know, few days of us. Of us continuing to be in a tick. Incredible warfare by the guys I was with. And I try to remember in the best detail that I can everything that took place there. A lot of guys that were. I was with the check. Special Forces guys and I was spending most of my time with them. So when the ODA would go and do stuff, who I was not attached to, I was not on their team. That was an amazing team. Amazing team. Sergeant. Absolute studs on that team. Like, I'm not gonna contradict what they remember, but I'm also gonna be like, man, I remember. I remember that busted up girl. I remember taking care of her websites.
Brent Tucker
Your competitors don't want you to know part two. All you do is go to this website and it lets you find out.
Brian Callan
Exactly.
Brent Tucker
He's adamantly doubling down on that. And so I'll give. I'LL give the benefit of that. Yeah. All right. See what his next question is.
Brian Callan
Yeah.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brian Callan
I don't know where to go from there, but. Okay, that makes. That makes sense. Finally, the famous one. Handwriting details in combat did claims or implications about carrying large numbers of hand grenades. Dozens are referencing 50 in backpacks.
Tim Kennedy
A lot hand grenades.
Brian Callan
No. Although again, if you know you. I can see you being like 50 hand grenades in my old grenades, yellow
Tim Kennedy
grenades, magazines that can fit into a bag.
Brian Callan
Yeah. Are the specific tactics details during the point reflect reality or were they exaggerated chords? According to pure accounts, there are a lot of people who were there who contested what happened. Right. Is that kind of how this.
Tim Kennedy
A few of them, yeah.
Brian Callan
And it turns out that their suspicions were confirmed in most of this. There wasn't.
Tim Kennedy
I don't know how many grenades were there. I don't know how many magazines were in there. But when you're packing a speedball, you're putting as many grenades and magazines in that bag as you can get in that bag and carry 15 grenades. It is that to me. Is that number unrealistic?
Magnet
Yes.
Tim Kennedy
No, it is.
Brian Callan
See, so I'm a little bit less concerned with number. I think that I'm almost. And also like the Iranian freedom fighters when you're a young E6, whatever those guys are. Maybe they were, maybe they weren't. I don't know. You know, I think that the largest thing that, you know, I've taken from this is that you did that. That the criticism is founded. You've lost a lot as a result. I could have told you that was going to happen because you can't write a book about your combat experience.
Brent Tucker
He gives great advice at the end, but it's one to. It's just more of a attempt rather than just hitting this whole thing head on. So going well, hold on. He's talking about a speed bag. A speed bag is something you resupply from. And he's kind of getting, you know, using. I think. I don't want to say this because only he would know this. It would. It comes across to me as if he's using some people's lack of knowledge and then kind of working in that gray area, you know exactly what a speedball is. Well, sometimes we. Sometimes we pre. Poem on. On helos and say, if we need this, kick this off or land this and get this to us. It is not. It's something you pull from. To resupply yourself from. Yeah, it's. And again, you wouldn't know this unless you read his book. Which I did. And the. He's saying that in his backpack he had a bag full of grenades. And in this backpack that he had is where he's getting all these grenades and he's leading with grenades and just. And just tear this one particular one. He's just. He just keeps on throwing in grenades until everybody inside is dead. Other times he's throwing grenades and into rooms or buildings and just following the grenade in and, and killing everyone. And that's where it goes to my experience that, nope, you throw a grenade into someplace you're not following it in, it's going to kick up so much dust and debris you're not going to see anything. And that started. And he's basically saying, well, hold on. What I'm saying is we. We have bags of speed balls. But you're not carrying around a speedball. The speedball will be. Can be hundreds of pounds.
Magnet
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
You take the speedball and you put. And you resupply from your backpack. But you never mentioned a speedball in your book. You said you had. And your bag a massive amount of. Of grenades. So I just don't like the way he's skirting around it. And it's. And to me, it was like, hey, this is your opportunity. It's so easy. You could have eaten all this crow.
Greg Coker
Yep.
Brent Tucker
And even if he. I don't expect him to answer or ask every single question and have to go line by line by line down every lie. But if you think about this, if he'd hit every single one of these questions head on and gave me nothing to talk about other than how great and honest he's finally being, it'd be done.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
Stop giving me something to work with when. When I've proved it. I'm actually looking for a reason.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
For positive something. For positive.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
But I can't. I can't come out here and tell everyone how you've changed. Now you're doing great because you. Because you admitted the lies when it doesn't seem as if you're being fully transparent in the same exact interview.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
Brian's gonna go on and give him some great advice. We'll. We'll listen just to the end of this and we'll. And we'll. And we'll be done for this and we'll move on to Rob. But let's see what Brian says here at the end.
Brian Callan
And you know, again, I know you. I. I know who you are. But you can't write a book about your combat experience and have embellishments Lies, exaggerations, you're just not allowed to do that. And if you do do that, the Internet will find out and you get crushed. And you did get crushed and you got bodied. And you know, I would have told you, I would tell you now that that is deserved. You know, as much as I love you, sorry, brother. It's like you, you, you tried Blitz Superman's pawn, you got bodied. And I believe that, you know, one of the things about life is that when we, when we are arrogant enough to think we can get away with people by writing a book and profiting from it, we're going to get bodied. And that's just your lesson.
Tim Kennedy
Good lesson.
Brian Callan
It's a good lesson. And one of the things that I love about you is that you're, you're. I genuinely know your heart and I know you're a good person. I also know you're a bad. And this is part of your.
Tim Kennedy
This is part of it is right. This was funny.
Brian Callan
You know, you get part of what's important. God's fire feels like hell because it burns away all the dead wood that you built a foundation on. And that's kind of the lesson is you spend your whole life doing everything that you can because we're ambitious, type A successful motherfuckers. And, and you do everything you can to get ahead because it's so hard. And then you do a couple things. You go, you know, I'm going to
Tim Kennedy
push a little here.
Brian Callan
I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm going to exaggerate, I'm going to lie, I'm going to embellish, I'm going to tell a fish story. I'm going to consolidate all these things that happen and it's like, no, you aren't. I'll tell you what, you're gonna pay for that with interest because you can't get away with that. And, but look, 45 years, good run. And now, now here we are. But this is part of. What matters more is your soul. What matters more is who you are after this. What matters more is who are you now the fire has burnt all the dead wood out, in my opinion, is you. It gets you closer to the truth. It brings you closer to who you're supposed to be. And I've, I've spoken a lot here. I apologize. I've spoken a lot. Guys, I've been talking too much. At least hold your feet to the fire. I hope I've done that because I think at the end of the day I was really mad at the people criticizing you. I was really mad at the videos they were making, but I think you deserved it, and I think they were right. And, and that's okay. You're still my friend.
Andy Stumpf
And that's.
Brian Callan
I just want to say that. That the criticism was well
Brent Tucker
and for everyone who said Brian was the wrong guy to do this interview, for him to end that interview like that and look at a good friend of his for a long time and look him in the eyes and said, you deserved this. Yeah, you. You embellished. You lied. This is what happens. This is what you get when you do that. This is God burning away the dead wood.
Greg Coker
Burning.
Brent Tucker
Yeah, just. It's great advice. And I can almost push back and say, you know, maybe Brian was the perfect guy to do this.
Magnet
I'll.
Brent Tucker
I'll end this with a little bit of what. Of. Of what he said. I wish. I wish. I wish Tim would have done better. I. I do.
Greg Coker
Yeah, he had the opportunity.
Brent Tucker
He had the opportunity. But you know what? I also think I'm going to grade Tim on a curve, and I, I just don't think he was ready or capable of just completely. Of completely coming clean. But no, he admitted that. Hey, I deserve this. Hey, I, I didn't tell the truth. Like, those, Those are huge things. And I. The Internet is not going to want to hear this. And it doesn't matter, Greg, what I do. I will upset the Internet. I could have come out here and absolutely demolished them and really gone down into all the roads, and part of the Internet would be like, well, he said, sorry, what do you want? Yeah, and I could. I can come out here and I can forgive him, be like, good enough for me. And the Internet would be, how dare you? He wasn't, He's. He hasn't changed. Like, you know, would. Are you a sellout now? It doesn't matter what I do. So the only thing I can do is be. Is be true to myself and again, remind everyone that, hey, I said, if you apologize this, if you admit to that you were lying, that that is what I asked for. I never said how good the apology had to be. I never said how good. And some people say, well, he didn't really apologize. He's, He's.
Greg Coker
He's Tim's way.
Brent Tucker
Yeah, he's taken it to the chin for years now, and he's come out and said, hey, I apologize. So. And that aspect. I'm not. I'm not ready to fully say, hey, you know what? Tim. Tim's. Tim's good in my Eyes like it's. It's done. But I. I want to stress this. Tim has made some great strides towards becoming a better man. And just because he didn't do it all in one episode and completely change years of a bad habit into overnight, he's com. He's one. He's 100. A different, different person. I'm not going to take that. Threw the baby out the bad water and go. He's done. I. I won't do that. In fact, I'll do what I've. I said from the beginning, which I told him, if you do those things, I'll welcome you back with open arms and I'll be one of the first people to welcome you back into the community. And guess what, Tim. I know he's got the message. He is more than welcome to come on this show and continue this conversation. I'll tell you right now, and I'll tell you guys, if you ever see that it's going to happen. I'm not going to sit here and make Tim grovel before me and admit every single one of his lies. I will talk to him about it. I'll probably ask him some tough questions. But the. The bigger thing would be for him to move forward a better man doing great things. I will continue to check up on his stories. A little bit of trust but verify. But guess what? What I hope to be seeing is. Is tracking Tim and then getting to report the good things that he's now doing. And he's doing it with integrity and the truth. And that's what I hope comes from this. And I believe this could be the beginning of that.
Brian Callan
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
So I'm not willing to go all the way and say, guess what? Tim is. Tim is forgiven and he's good to go. But I will say this. Tim is on a. Tim is on a. Tim is on a good path. He's on a good path. He's on him. He's in a much better path than he was when he was just adamantly denying everything or just pretending it'll all go away.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
Don't want to, you know, make this speech longer than it has to be, but I am. I. This is a. This is a positive thing. And you won't guilt me any into thinking anything other than that.
Greg Coker
Yes. So they shouldn't.
Brent Tucker
So there's that. There is that.
Greg Coker
Good.
Brent Tucker
Drew, what do you think?
Drew Hansen
About which topic, my friend?
Brent Tucker
About what you just saw with Tim as our. As our.
Drew Hansen
I think it's progress.
Brent Tucker
As our spiritual elders.
Drew Hansen
As that guy. Well, which you are I think it's. I think it's progress, and I think it's the. The best you're gonna get from a narcissist. And that mean that's it. I mean, I remember his apology. His apology had excuses and lies in his apology. And so, I mean, it's progress. I'm very impressed. I will tell you. I'm very impressed with this video. I. I think he's definitely accepting, you know, the. The truth to a great. A much greater extent than before. So it's progress.
Brent Tucker
I'd like to. I'd like to think God is working in his heart and he's not done yet. That's what I. That's what. That's what. That's. I think that's what I pray for. That's what I want. It's what I hope is what I pray for.
Greg Coker
Goodness is in there. It's just got.
Brent Tucker
It's in there.
Greg Coker
He's got to face it.
Brent Tucker
It's in there. And I do believe this. I do believe if he came on this show, it started here. The veteran community knows that this is a place of integrity. And I think if you really wanted to end it like this is. This is really where this is. This is the final stop. And that's just concur. That's not me hyping up, like, who we are or anything like that. That's just. That's. We also can't ignore, you know, the facts. And I won't just let anyone on my show. I don't. I don't care. I don't need the views. I don't need the clicks. We stand on integrity, not on. Not on the size of our channel. And if. And if I'll have Tim sit in that chair and have a good, honest conversation with me about it. It's. It's for the. It's for the right reasons and people. And people will see that. And so that's. That's what I hope he does. Yeah, that's what I hope he does. Just get to some super chats real quick. And I know, I know it's going to be a long night. Stick with us. We still have Rob o' Neill to cover. Let's see what else we got.
Greg Coker
All right.
Drew Hansen
Zubi says thoughts on Israel not getting enough votes for integrating the military together. Also, what's good with invading Mexico? We got like 5 million illegals from there. How is that not an invasion? Should we be at war with them?
Brent Tucker
I think it'd be easier just to send them back and build a wall. And no one. And no one has to die. This is going to be the. This is gonna be the. The. The weirdest quote of the night because, yeah, war is really fun, but it's. But it's also. It's also a very devastating thing, and it should be our last resort.
Brian Callan
I don't.
Brent Tucker
And I don't know enough about the Israel thing, about getting enough votes for integrating the military together. I. I'm. I'm not really tracking that.
Drew Hansen
I don't know what that is. Papa Penguin pontificate says troops act like they've been trained to act. Pretending any of this nonsense fell out of the clear blue sky is denying the rampant levels of moral rot present in certain places. We are reaping what leadership has sown.
Brent Tucker
Troops acting like they've been trained to act. I don't know. I don't really know exactly what. What that is in context. Are we missing some context there, Drew?
Drew Hansen
I. I think so.
Brent Tucker
Okay. Or is it the rant of a madman?
Drew Hansen
All right.
Brent Tucker
Just kidding, Papa.
Drew Hansen
Yeah, Baba. Just in the chats. Clear up some context. Sorry, man. Troops act like they've been trained to act. All right. Holy folks says, Greg, do you believe in Bigfoot or UFOs? Any stories you can share and do you believe.
Brian Callan
Believe.
Drew Hansen
Outro Song Queen, whatever that is? I don't believe in love.
Greg Coker
Believe in love.
Brent Tucker
Queen's Reich. Yeah. Holy. Holy food. Good old holy food. Welcome to the Tier one podcast where you're going to get that question.
Greg Coker
I do not believe in Bigfoot, but we were out flying around one night in Area 51, and I did see some green stuff running around, so I don't know.
Brent Tucker
You mess it with me. Did you. You see some weird stuff out there?
Greg Coker
Yeah, I did.
Magnet
Do you think.
Brent Tucker
Do you think.
Greg Coker
Not just me, I mean, the group, dude, right?
Brent Tucker
Do you think we owned it, or do you just hope we owned it, whatever it was?
Greg Coker
Yeah, I. No, I think we owned it.
Tim Kennedy
Okay.
Magnet
I know.
Brent Tucker
I. I do think we would be pretty astonished to know what technology we. We really have out there.
Greg Coker
You hit it.
Brian Callan
Yeah.
Greg Coker
Yes.
Brent Tucker
You know, I'm always hesitant to share some of these stories when it comes to things like that, but I can tell you this.
Andy Stumpf
I.
Brent Tucker
You know, me and your units, we're the top of the food chain in the military.
Greg Coker
Yes, sir.
Brent Tucker
You know, you know, TS clearances, because. That's Right. And seis. Secret compartmentalized information to be out there at some of those areas to be doing exercises and then told, hey, go inside. You can't see this. You can't see this. And it hurts.
Tim Kennedy
It hurts.
Brent Tucker
My little. My little. I'm on top of the food chain heart. Because I'm like. I guess I'm not. What do you mean? I can't see it. I can't see it.
Greg Coker
No, you did not see that.
Drew Hansen
Who's.
Brent Tucker
Who's higher than me? And. No. And they will. They will send you in and be like, you can't see this. We'll let you know when you can come out. When it's. When it's no longer in sight. So there. There are some pretty cool things out there that they don't. That they don't want anyone to know about. Including me.
Greg Coker
Everybody.
Brent Tucker
Including you.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Drew Hansen
Daniel Hayawatsi says England blew a 13 colony lead and a 10 goal lead.
Magnet
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
13 colony.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Drew Hansen
All right. Drunk Christian says, what's the proper way to sit on a toilet? Facing the water bowl or your back to.
Magnet
Depends on what kind of night you're having.
Brent Tucker
No, it doesn't. No, it doesn't.
Greg Coker
Male or female?
Drew Hansen
Sometimes you gotta lay your head down. Sometimes you just put your.
Brent Tucker
You just put your elbows on your.
Brian Callan
Your chin.
Brent Tucker
That's right.
Greg Coker
That's.
Brent Tucker
Oh my gosh. All right.
Drew Hansen
That's funny.
Brent Tucker
Holy f. The real questions.
Drew Hansen
Greg. Greg. Glock or Sig. Do you sit or stand to pee? And have you ever pulled your taint. All pre qualification questions to have a guest on the show? Song I Don't Believe in Love.
Greg Coker
There it is. Yeah. 1911 now.
Brent Tucker
Old school. I know that's. That is the old school favorite. It. It is made by who you got. You had a favorite manufacturer.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
Caspian. That's solid.
Greg Coker
I used to build them. So.
Brent Tucker
Speaking of that.
Greg Coker
Springfield.
Brent Tucker
Yeah, that's of course that, that's. That's.
Tim Kennedy
That's.
Brent Tucker
That's the. That's the go to. If the OG of the 1911.
Greg Coker
I do have my switching signal.
Brent Tucker
Do you?
Greg Coker
Yes, I do.
Brent Tucker
I can't. I don't. I can't believe you offered to give that to me as a gift. That's very. That was very. That was very kind of you. Very kind of you, Greg.
Greg Coker
I could afford a singer.
Brent Tucker
There's something kind of unique over on the. The desk area that I cannot mention or touch lest we get immediately pulled from. From the Internet. But there'll. That's the beginning of it. It has a. Has a laser engraved Tier 1 podcast on top of it. It will be the next Patreon giveaway. The only thing you got to do is be a Patreon member and you you don't have to sign up something else. I hate it when they're like, join this, sign this, do this, do that.
Greg Coker
We need your email.
Brent Tucker
Share this. Yeah, give me your email. It's just that simple. Become a Patreon member and you can have that Glock.
Greg Coker
It's a beautiful piece of work.
Brent Tucker
It is. It is cool. We're gonna put a red dot. We're gonna put a red dot on it.
Magnet
And we got.
Brent Tucker
And sites coming. And what's that?
Magnet
We have sites coming for.
Brent Tucker
Yeah, that's right. Yeah, we got sites coming for. It would have put a red dot on it. We're going to. We're going to do a few more things on it, but that will be the next one. And I love that paint job. That's. It's almost like a cool, like, black multicam color, but it's tiger stripe and it's in its design.
Drew Hansen
It looks like something out of the Predator movie.
Brent Tucker
I love it. Yeah, very. Thank you.
Drew Hansen
Thank you, Predator.
Brent Tucker
Thank you, magnet from Lion Arms for getting that done. So.
Magnet
And just another one be.
Brent Tucker
Oh, that's right. And just another 11 Bravo donated that. We're just. We're just tricking it out. So thank you guys. And you can talk to both of them on. On Patreon and get more information on guns in any gun you want. Between those two, you can get it figured out. All right. What else we got?
Drew Hansen
Drew it jumped on me, bro.
Brent Tucker
That happens.
Drew Hansen
I gotta find it.
Greg Coker
We could put an FRT in the Glock.
Magnet
Not down here.
Drew Hansen
Oh, crap. It's gonna be a long night.
Brent Tucker
That's right.
Drew Hansen
There it is.
Brent Tucker
Oh, okay.
Greg Coker
All right.
Drew Hansen
The real Justin says 68 W's exist because even 11 Bravos need heroes. Jay says, does Delta have medics on the assault teams? If so, are they trained as 18 Deltas or do they have their own program?
Brent Tucker
Every assaulter is a medic to some degree. Because the life you save better be your own. That's right. But no, the actual 18 Deltas and trained medics are not assaulters because if they get shot, who's gonna fix us? Who's gonna fix the serious wounds? Yeah, that's right.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Drew Hansen
All right. Sec 8.11B says, with great love, man. Thank you so much for the gift. Hey, boys, have a drink on me. All right. Stuck watching an oil rig tonight, but this was will be my drive home background in the morning.
Brent Tucker
Ah, heck yeah. Thank you, sir.
Drew Hansen
Thank you very much, sir. Holy fook says, Greg, did you help train the British joint Special Forces Aviation Wing O. Good Question or work with in any way. Any stories you can share. Outro song Don't Believe in Love I.
Brent Tucker
They're really trying to get Queen's Reich up there just $10 at a time.
Greg Coker
Lacy DC no, I did not. I actually. I offered my services when they were starting. Starting that up.
Brent Tucker
Okay.
Greg Coker
Yeah. I wish they'd have called and said, hey, come to England.
Andy Stumpf
Yeah.
Greg Coker
You know, hang out for a year.
Brent Tucker
Did you ever work with any foreign services? Aviation.
Greg Coker
Jordan. Jordanians.
Brent Tucker
Sorry.
Andy Stumpf
Yes.
Brent Tucker
Sorry you had to. Yeah, Yeah, I spent some time in Jordan.
Greg Coker
Did you? I did, yeah.
Drew Hansen
When you talk about goat and the Jordan. Jordan. That way, it's different, isn't it?
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Drew Hansen
We talk about the goat connection between Jordan and. And. And a goat. The goat.
Brent Tucker
The goat. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Greatest of all time. Yeah.
Drew Hansen
All right. Jizro is a fart sniffing goober.
Andy Stumpf
All right.
Drew Hansen
That's from V. Bismo. Thank you for that nugget. Liz says free Bissette from his debt. Can we do super chats to help Pat out?
Magnet
He's buy his book.
Brent Tucker
Yeah, go buy his book. That'll help him out for sure. Wiley Coyote.
Drew Hansen
Hi, Calioti. Man. Eat steak, drink whiskey, smoke a killer cigar. Homemade s' mores over a good fire. Sharing it all with great friends. When is it gonna happen? Soundgarden Jesus Christ. Is that Poser Posse for the outro?
Brent Tucker
We'll see. This I will tell you. I believe Keith has announced it on the Patreon, but we do have a Patreon meetup. It is confirmed. Magnet is it over in deland.
Magnet
Oh, perfect.
Brent Tucker
And. And the dates. The dates are. Should. If they're not, they will be tomorrow. I'll make sure they are. It. It is gonna happen. You don't have to go. Shoot. If you just want to come out there and hang out with the boys and eat steak, drink whiskey and smoke a killer cigar and do some homemade. Homemade s' mores over good fire. You could do that.
Drew Hansen
Join the Patreon.
Brent Tucker
Join the Patreon. All the details will be there. You can come down here in Florida and hang out as a group of patriots.
Brian Callan
I hear.
Drew Hansen
I hear Magnet might bring the hot dog roller.
Magnet
I was about to say that, actually.
Drew Hansen
All right. LeBron says, sup, dudes? Just got done with this ups shift. Ups ups in this heat wave. Oh, that's. That's rough, bro. Also, just a little something for beers. Also, you should try and get taco talks on the pod.
Brent Tucker
Taco talks. Do you know what that is, by chance? Who is this?
Magnet
Taco talks Only Hot dogs.
Brent Tucker
All right.
Drew Hansen
Yeah. He knows hot dogs.
Greg Coker
Taco.
Drew Hansen
That's different. North, southeast, west says, hail to the furry in the sky.
Brent Tucker
Two Rs.
Drew Hansen
Thanks, Tier 1 for the great show.
Brent Tucker
All right, I know there's gonna be a bunch of super chats tonight. We've got to get to the second half of this show. Let's do it, Drew. Let's call it halftime. Okay, Two thirds time, but probably half time. Being honest with each other.
Magnet
Kidding.
Brent Tucker
All right, let's do it. We'll be right back. Please hang out and we're gonna break down Matt Bissonnette's interview with Andy Stumpf. We are more than makers of steel. We are brothers in craft, bound by purpose and forged in pride. Every blade we shape carries the weight of the hands that built it and the hearts that will wield it. Magnet
You're clear to engage.
Brent Tucker
Initials Mike Gillp Alpha. You're clear to engage with weapons. You're clear to engage with weapons. Here at the Tier 1 podcast, we're excited to have tasty gains as a sponsor. A company with values that aligns with ours. I take their products every day, three times a day. And if it wasn't a product that I didn't take personally and believe in, and a company with integrity Then they wouldn't be sponsors on this show. Thank you.
Drew Hansen
Hey, guys, Drew here. Go to FRCC Shop, man. You check out our reviews. We're talking 5 star reviews down the line for our coffee and cigars. You just can't beat them. They're delicious. Coffee's on sale, you buy three bags. It's only 11.99 a bag. Our five pound bags are $20 off. It's summertime. Business right now is slow. So where are you guys get your cigars and coffee today at FRCC Shop. Thank you for your support.
Brent Tucker
Do not forget our bourbon right there. There she is. Also on the website, if you're not enjoying a Thursday night without some FRCC bourbon and a cigar, you're doing it wrong. Over to Magnet to give us an update on what, what President Trump said tonight. What was it about?
Magnet
So he declassified the voter fraud. He talked about that. He said there was over a quarter of a million illegal, whatever you want to call them that voted in our federal election. And also, you know, the SAFE act did pass today through the Senate. So now it has to go to Congress. And the SAFE act is the, the House. Yeah.
Brent Tucker
Okay.
Magnet
And it has to, after it passes that, then you'll be required to show ID for voting. So that's good. He did mention that. And if you go on the White House website, he said that all the declassified information said China had a lot to do with voting in 2020. So if you guys go on there, it's all declassified after tonight.
Brent Tucker
That's sickening. That's sickening that we can't, we can't keep them out. And that's, I'm not saying you go to war over that. I mean, maybe that's, that's a stretch. But there has to be a penalty for meddling in our election. You can't. That's one of our most sacred things as an American. How do they get away with it without some sort of punishment? I Don't like it said.
Magnet
Go to your.
Brent Tucker
Go to your what?
Magnet
Go to your Congress people and call them and let them know. Yeah, vote for that safe act.
Brent Tucker
Yeah, that. That sounds like such a. I don't say dumb thing, but like, you know, wasted effort, energy. I'm telling you, that is how sometimes the left gets what they want because all those Karens will call and bug their congressmen and it seems to them like this is a very important issue, so it can sway their minds.
Magnet
And what they crazy is it barely passed.
Brent Tucker
Yeah, I. What. It did. It did. And hopefully, hopefully the House, you know, we still control the House, and hopefully it passes the House as well. All right, let's. Let's get to the second half of this thing. I know the super chats are going to, you know, let's do like five super chats and let's head over to the Robin Neal portion of the show because there's some, some fun ones on that one.
Drew Hansen
All right, let's see if this is right. Okay. The real Justin G. 87 says just former line medic with a dep to Iraq with the 101st. What disgusts me most about TK is the lying about shite that would scar you mentally. I would pay to forget shite. And he wants to get paid for it.
Brent Tucker
That is. That is true. And again, I'm hoping that that comment you made at some point is a. Is old Tim and, And isn't relevant anymore. And I, And I'm desperately hoping he gives us reason to. To believe that. And I'm.
Magnet
I'm.
Brent Tucker
I don't.
Andy Stumpf
I don't know.
Magnet
I'm.
Brent Tucker
I, I'm slightly optimistic that he will. Let's see.
Drew Hansen
Tyler Pierce says, did you enjoy being on a special forces dive team doing maritime operations also, does CAG have maritime dive teams or capabilities?
Brent Tucker
I loved being on a dive team. I hated diving to some degree because the military does. The military does and takes all the fun out of fun things. I bet flying a helicopter is pretty fun.
Greg Coker
It is.
Brent Tucker
Did the 160th steal that joy from you to some degree? No, it's always. It was. It's always fun.
Greg Coker
Always fun.
Brent Tucker
That might be. Yeah. I've never thought about that way the military can take the joy out of skydiving. Mff. Not that fun. Diving. Crazy fun. Combat diving. Not that fun. You know, going up and down mountains. Yeah, it can be fun. People do that for fun. Do it with a hundred pounds in your back. No, no longer fun goats looking at you. But, but, but flying the military doesn't steal that joy.
Greg Coker
They do not. They can't.
Brent Tucker
No matter how hard they try, war
Greg Coker
officers knows what to do with us.
Brent Tucker
Oh, I love it. All right, what's next, Drew?
Drew Hansen
Holy fook says, Greg, have you ever run out of fuel in the Halo or Hilo? If not, what is the closest? Have you had any controlled crash landings? Did you pull your taint on landing? Outro song I don't believe in. I guess holy folks still just 10
Brent Tucker
bucks at a time. Getting after time.
Andy Stumpf
Okay.
Greg Coker
No, I never ran out of gas. I did not. Came close one time. And what was the rest of it?
Brent Tucker
You ever crash land? Yeah, they'll crash it.
Greg Coker
I did not crash. I got shot down. There is a difference.
Drew Hansen
He gives the story on his episode. You guys check it out when it gets published.
Brent Tucker
Yeah.
Greg Coker
Get the book.
Brent Tucker
Yeah. And get the book Better. And he has it in audible, which is great. A lot of people use it.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
It's called Death waiting in the dark. Yeah. Have you ever pulled your taint?
Greg Coker
No, never.
Andy Stumpf
Just me.
Brent Tucker
Just me.
Magnet
All right.
Brent Tucker
Okay. One of one bacon forged.
Drew Hansen
Good evening, gents. Best day of the week. Thursdays are for the Patriots.
Andy Stumpf
All right.
Brent Tucker
All right. For bacon forge. It's not much of a secret anymore that I have a Corvette. And I'm not ashamed of it.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
I love Corvettes.
Greg Coker
I had one.
Drew Hansen
I do.
Magnet
I know it's.
Brent Tucker
I know it's a cliche. Midlife white guy crisis vehicle.
Magnet
I don't.
Brent Tucker
I don't view it as that.
Tim Kennedy
I love them.
Brent Tucker
I think they're amazing machines. Oh, they are.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
He said no. No Corvette owners. Complete without leather jacket. The leather Corvette jacket nerd gotta have. And he sent me one, and I love it.
Greg Coker
Oh, that's cool.
Brent Tucker
And I love it.
Drew Hansen
Looks good. Mr. Hassel.
Magnet
That was. That was his reward to himself for pulling his tank.
Drew Hansen
I'm going to get him a little red skinny sticker for the front of that black car.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
Oh, all right.
Drew Hansen
The crew table says shout out allegiance or.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Drew Hansen
Ink. Just got some work from my homie. Traditional. Chuck.
Brent Tucker
Nice.
Drew Hansen
They're tuning in for the episode. Thank you. You guys are the best.
Greg Coker
Cool.
Drew Hansen
I appreciate all you do.
Brent Tucker
Absolutely.
Greg Coker
Cool.
Drew Hansen
Holy f. Greg, what is your favorite terrain environment to fly in and what is the worst? How good of a weatherman are you? Did you learn about weather, especially while flying and identifying weather changes?
Brent Tucker
All good questions.
Greg Coker
Weather will kill you before bullets. As a army aviator, yes. We become experts in forecasting weather because the weather guessers never look out the window.
Brent Tucker
Yeah.
Greg Coker
Yeah. We.
Magnet
We.
Greg Coker
Yeah. We loved our weather, guys. I did get a weather brief one day, so it was clear. Blue 22, we're getting ready to take off. Go to range two nine. Shoot. You know.
Brent Tucker
Okay.
Greg Coker
And I'm like, dude, have you looked out the window?
Brent Tucker
That's got to be.
Greg Coker
I said, go to the door. It was snowing sideways.
Brent Tucker
Yeah.
Greg Coker
And gave us a clear weather.
Brent Tucker
Gosh, it's clear to them.
Magnet
They don't have to fly.
Brent Tucker
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Drew Hansen
Your favorite terrain.
Greg Coker
Yeah. Favorite train was over water. And worst trains, desert.
Brent Tucker
Why you love over water so much, man?
Greg Coker
It was just so calming.
Brent Tucker
Yeah.
Greg Coker
You know, you're at 20ft above the water, just cruising. Yes. I loved it. Most guys hated it. Oh, really? Yeah. But I just. I settled in.
Brent Tucker
I can say that's cool.
Greg Coker
It is.
Magnet
And it's a softer.
Greg Coker
Can you swim?
Drew Hansen
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
Do you have a Heeds bottle?
Drew Hansen
Mason thart says, tell Mr. Greg his vanguard review was the best and most entertaining podcast I've ever listened to.
Greg Coker
Wow.
Drew Hansen
Thank you for your service and loving our country.
Greg Coker
Thank you.
Brent Tucker
Yeah, Love it. Well, love it.
Drew Hansen
Solely back in says, why weren't body cams used by Seal Team 6 for UBL raid? I thought it was normal for tier 1 units to use them. If they were used, there could be no dispute.
Brent Tucker
They're not used, nor do I believe, should they be used. I believe to some degree. I think the American public wants results, but I don't think the American public wants to see how the hot dog is made. I don't think there's anything good that can come from. From that. And I know what you're going to say. You're gonna say, well, here's one good thing, you know, knowing the truth on the ground. That's why we do what we do. We talk about integrity.
Greg Coker
Yep.
Brent Tucker
You should. You shouldn't need body cameras to tell you the truth that happened on the ground. The operators should tell you the truth is on the ground.
Andy Stumpf
Absolutely.
Brent Tucker
So it's not a body camera issue. It's a person. It's an integrity issue. Absolutely.
Drew Hansen
T bone to Mr. CO. Did you ever have any unruly SOF passengers?
Brent Tucker
That's a good question. That's a good question.
Drew Hansen
That would bring you on target. You had to look back and tell them to don't make you turn this hilo around.
Brent Tucker
You know, I always thought that. That, you know, everything was good question. So kosher, you know, like. But you fly enough and with, you know, enough things, get emotional at times. Put me down here, whatever it is, the chance of either it happening to you or, or knowing, you know, someone on that mission. To have an unruly passenger as low as a percentage, I think that is, maybe it's happened before.
Greg Coker
Very low now. No soft packs that I knew of or ever heard of. And, and I flew guns. So you had, you know, it's a better question for the mh.
Brent Tucker
That's what I was like. Any mission you were on or heard of for, for the guys.
Greg Coker
But I, I was on a mission and it was, it was December 8th, 2003. Hit a target, got like eight dudes off target. And then this blonde haired, she had to been an Eastern European. She looked it. And I mean, very, very beautiful woman. What she was doing with all these Iraqi gangsters. Beyond me. But anyway, she was unruly. And I landed and then the MH landed right next to me. And I was watching because she'd been kicking and fighting and, and sergeant major just walked over there and her back was to the door and he just grabbed her cuffs and just yanked her off that helicopter. Yeah. And she was stiff, you know, Gosh. Had a bag on her head. That's the only one I've ever seen.
Brent Tucker
Leave it, leave it to a liberal white woman. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's about who it would be. We've, I've never, not saying it's never happened. I've never really had even like call them POWs or detainees.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
Like unruly detainee passengers either. Usually by the time they get on a bird. Yeah, they're pretty scared.
Greg Coker
They're scared.
Brent Tucker
There's. They're blindfolded, they're handcuffed, they're around, large
Greg Coker
bag on their head. They got a bag dog breathing on them.
Brent Tucker
They're about to go into a helicopter. They've never, they've never seen or thought about flying. It's crazy. They are so quiet. In fact, sometimes they'll sit there, shake.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
Pee themselves. Anything but be unruly. They've always been really docile, which is always crazy. I won't tell you exactly how we know this, but it's not that big of a secret. But I'd like to like to play by the rules. We may or may not know some of the things they were just saying 24 hours before this about what badasses they were.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
Only to see them pee themselves and shake on the helicopter and not be the badasses they claim to be and told all their men that they were and expected them to pee. That's. That's sweet justice right there. When you get to see that it is.
Greg Coker
All right.
Drew Hansen
What do you want to do, Brent?
Brent Tucker
Okay, let's. Let's go to the.
Brian Callan
Let's go to the.
Brent Tucker
Matt, miss that episode. It has to be covered. It needs to be covered.
Drew Hansen
I'm ready when you are.
Brent Tucker
I'm ready, sir.
Drew Hansen
You want this.
Andy Stumpf
Here it comes as to me, there's nothing to be gained from that. I would love for at some point the stories to be able to overlap, because without that, it allows space in between the two, and that's where the Internet goes crazy.
Matt Bissonnette
My problem is I don't see a lot of space between the two. I know what I saw. I know what we witnessed. And then I know we all came back and did a debrief with everybody in the room that was audio recorded. So if. If. If the other version says there was lying going on in the debrief, I
Brian Callan
don't know what the.
Matt Bissonnette
That means. I've never lied in an AAR debrief because. Well, it's not lying. You may have your perspective.
Brent Tucker
Yeah, we all know you might have
Matt Bissonnette
your perspective admission, but you do. The debrief is. So everybody else talks about their perspective and how they match up or how they don't.
Andy Stumpf
Yeah.
Matt Bissonnette
And you work through that.
Magnet
Right.
Matt Bissonnette
So when we did the debrief, it was.
Greg Coker
Right.
Matt Bissonnette
Different people talked in different areas. But then when the point man came
Brent Tucker
up, he's going to talk about the point man.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
We said this before when Rob o' Neal was on Andy Stump's podcast, and he talked about lying during the debrief to try to cut his tracks about why his story of being the only man in the room to kill bin Laden is. Is falling apart in front of his face. And so he. He did the classic version of covering up a lie with another lie. And. And let's hope that works out. It doesn't usually work out well. And it didn't work out well for him. He got slaughtered in the comment section. And good. So that's. And Matt Bissonnette. Matt Bissonnet has done a very good job. Even. I'll be. I'll be honest. Sometimes, to my disdain, I say that not on. On the. Not that strongly as. As, like as I'm mad at him. Just. But Matt knows the truth. And when. When given, say, the Sean Ryan podcast, other podcasts, he's done. Matt's book is wildly different when it comes to how UBL was killed on their mission. Was. Is wildly different than. Than Rob's version. Everything's the same until the third floor of the compound. And then things get wildly different. And this is the difference is to catch everybody up. And I, I know this seems silly to have to recover to. To cover it, but not everyone knows this. And I have to explain to people, like, well, Rob's version isn't that different. Like, well, then you don't know Rob's version. Then you, you know. Then you don't know what you're talking about. Okay, the difference is this. In Rob's version, Rob says there was only two of them that went to the third floor and that the point man, when he got up there. And it's a little unclear, really depends on which version you hear. He either ran into the hallway and pushed women and kids to the side, or he went. Or he went in the room and pushed women and kids to the side in the one room. Either way, it leaves Rob to be the only person face to face with ubo, the world's number one terrorist. And he says he shoots him in the face while he's standing up and shoots him in the face for a third time on the ground. And, And America's a winner. Okay, that is one version.
Greg Coker
Okay.
Brent Tucker
It takes every teammate away from it. It makes him the sole hero of the mission.
Greg Coker
If that's one operator went in that room.
Brent Tucker
Room, yes.
Greg Coker
By himself.
Brent Tucker
By himself. That's. It's unclear because Rob is unclear whether the point man was in the room with them just dealing with women and children, or if he went into the hallway to deal with the women and children. Okay, that's, that's, that's unknown, but it's without a doubt, not confusing at all that he claims that him and only him killed bin Laden. Matt Bissonnette claims, as they were moving up to the third floor, he claims, and it's important, Rob says everyone was busy clearing the second floor. Him and the point man saw movement upstairs, and they had to move. And that's why only two people went to the third floor. They had to. Matt Bissonnette says, hey, we knew UBL lived on the third floor, and we basically blew by the. The second floor because everybody was in a hurry to get. To get the big guy. And I, I'm just telling you, I can see that. That, that. That checks out. That's normal. And in Rob's. In Matt's. Version, he says the point man takes a shot at a head that pokes out of the room, that he sends two to that shadowy figure. He falls back into the room. A team of Navy seals goes in there, put security shots into him, and that's how he died. Those are two very different stories. One says, I and I alone killed him. And the other one says, a team, a team of Navy seals came in here and did the job. One is very not normal for one person, one person alone to be in a room or to be the sole shooter because we're entering room so fast, multiple people are going to shoot. It's. It's a wild story. Is it, Is it, Is it zero chance that it could ever happen? Anything could happen. Anything could happen.
Magnet
But he also said that the point man missed.
Brent Tucker
He. Sometimes he mentions the point man shooting, sometimes he doesn't. It depends on which story you got from him. And he says, and. But he does mention that in some way. Does say the point man shot. Either says he missed or he'll go, I don't know what he was shooting at. You'll have to ask him. Which is just kind of crazy. Anyway, I wanted to paint the picture of what the two different stories are. And Matt has always done to, again, to my, to my dismay, a good job of not attacking Rob's story head on. He's always been, hey, I don't want to talk about. I'm kind of paraphrasing. I don't want to talk about the other story. I'm just going to tell you what I saw. I'm just going to tell you what I saw. Well, I guess Matt's finally had enough of it. Matt's finally like, you know what? I'm gonna tell you what's. What's wrong with this story and why it makes no sense. And I'm gonna tell you what really happens for the first time. Matt, Miss Annette hits this thing head on. And it's about time someone did. Yeah, because I can say it all I want. I can tell you how Rob's story makes no sense on a tactical level. I can, and I, and I have before. I could just pick it apart. But people will say, well, you weren't there. Well, guess what? Matt was there. And he happens to say exactly what I said, which includes an exact what you said. I didn't have to be there to know they didn't lie in a debrief. That was what Matt's talking about. They didn't lie in a debrief. That defeats the point of a debrief.
Matt Bissonnette
Yes.
Brent Tucker
All right, let's keep going.
Matt Bissonnette
Drew going up the stairs. He's the one who talked through all of the final sequences. Nobody interrupted, nobody talked about. Nobody talked about a second train. Nobody said there was A delay. Nobody talked about. Hey, there was only two guys. The point man talked about shooting and moving into the room.
Greg Coker
Right.
Matt Bissonnette
This. This whole question of the point man missing.
Brian Callan
I don't.
Matt Bissonnette
I didn't see a miss.
Greg Coker
Right.
Matt Bissonnette
And I don't know why we would need to lie about him missing or lie about COVID up any form of. There was a woman killed on the first floor.
Andy Stumpf
Yeah.
Matt Bissonnette
That we talked about in the debrief on the first floor.
Andy Stumpf
It's in the movie.
Magnet
Right.
Matt Bissonnette
So now we're not going to talk about a woman being wounded on the third floor or talk about somebody missing a shot. That doesn't make any sense.
Greg Coker
All right.
Brent Tucker
It's positive right there. That's. He brings up a great, great point and it debunks Rob's theories. Well, we lied because we had to cover some things up because not everything. You know, if. When things happen, we're not going to tell the boss man that things went wrong because, you know, that's. He doesn't need to know those things. And I. And we. And we omit that on. On for. For his behalf, and that's just not true. We don't do that. But not only do we not do that, Matt has a great point to say. Why would we do that on the third floor when there's already been some. We'll say it's not wrong. It's questionable, like, to some degree, but they've already shot an unarmed woman. Yeah, but that. That woman was acting erratic and going for her dead husband's gun, if I remember that one. Right. But they admitted that, so why now on the third floor would they have to be like, all right, now we have to start covering things up.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
You know, Amal got shot in the leg. Let's cover that up. You depending on how Amal was acting, if she's rushing at an assaulter, she's lucky she only got shot in the leg.
Magnet
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
You know, there's nothing to cover up. It makes no sense. The truth always can stand on its own against logic. And Matt, not only is he. Is he telling the truth from being there, he's proving it's the truth by backing it up with logic. Yeah, right, because it makes no sense. What Rob said.
Magnet
What about the. Hold on. What about the other story where he said that was behind the women with his hands on the shoulder? Remember, he said that, too.
Brent Tucker
Oh, yeah. What's your question, though?
Magnet
Well, no, that's what I'm saying. So how can he. They said that the person was shot with his head poking Out. And now you're saying that Rob.
Brent Tucker
Right.
Magnet
Goes into the room again.
Brent Tucker
Yeah. Two different stories from two different narratives that couldn't be any further from the truth. And then here's the problem that I'll always have with Rob's story. I can't hear myself, Drew. Or can I? Okay.
Magnet
Sorry.
Brent Tucker
I apologize.
Brian Callan
It's okay.
Brent Tucker
That I'll always have is Rob has admitted that Amal got. Got shot in the leg. Rob, if you were the only one in that room or the only one shooting in that room, and your shots were two to the head and one one at the base, and then you immediately went and put them all on the bed because you have such a big heart, who shot them all?
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
Well, where'd she get the magic bullet? It. There's. It. There's no room in your story for that. But anyway, let's. Let's. Let's keep going to see what. See what Matt has to say.
Matt Bissonnette
You're gonna have to get everybody in the room to go along with that story.
Brent Tucker
You're gonna have to coordinate a whole
Matt Bissonnette
bunch of people to lie.
Greg Coker
Yeah, right. To.
Matt Bissonnette
To act like they didn't see what they actually saw. That's why a debrief is what it is.
Greg Coker
Right.
Matt Bissonnette
Everybody in the debrief shares their opinion. If you talk about your movements and. And it's pretty simple. When you're going up a set of stairs.
Drew Hansen
Right.
Matt Bissonnette
It's not.
Andy Stumpf
I mean, I haven't cleared every set of stairs, but I've cleared a lot of stairs.
Drew Hansen
Right.
Brent Tucker
All right, let's. I won't. I won't talk too much, and I don't want to take the momentum away from it.
Magnet
But just.
Brent Tucker
Let me just say, debriefs usually happen pretty quick. I've done debriefs in Kit still. I've done debriefs for, like, put your kid away and then come right back to this room. You have to talk about it while it's fresh on your mind.
Matt Bissonnette
Right.
Brent Tucker
That's really important. So Matt makes another good point about, hey, if you're gonna lie on a debrief, like, you're going to have to get. Get everyone in on this lie, because everyone, anyone who's not in on it, they will stand up and say, hey, that's.
Greg Coker
No, I didn't see it.
Brent Tucker
I didn't. Yeah, that's not what happened, by the way. This whole mission was done with one and two ICs, and I think a couple three ICs, but they're all senior, senior guys in a troop okay, so. Or within the squadron. So it's not like you're gonna bully a 4ic who's like, well, that's not what I saw. But I don't think I'll. I'll speak up thing. They're all senior guys who have no problem saying it. So the other problem with this is the debrief happens very quickly. So you don't have time to run to everyone and say, everyone, gather up real quick. Let's get on the same sheet of music. This lie. And everyone has to agree that this, what we're going to do is lie. Yeah.
Drew Hansen
And they're all from different teams. It's not like they're all the. The home unit and they're a bunch of buddies.
Magnet
Right?
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
I mean, that is true. Different troops aren't always really close. Like, you know, it's. All right, let's see what else he has to say.
Matt Bissonnette
But if you're a point man talking about you clearing up a single set of stairs, it's not a lot of leeway for other people to see different things. He just talks through his actions. The shot that the point man took.
Greg Coker
Right.
Matt Bissonnette
What SEAL out there is not going to follow his shots?
Andy Stumpf
It's a good question.
Matt Bissonnette
Tactically, that is what we're taught. Your threat matrix. What's your biggest threat out there? Unknown. Mail.
Brent Tucker
Yeah.
Greg Coker
Right.
Matt Bissonnette
You know, everybody knew bin Laden most likely lived on the third floor. He had just eliminated Khalid on the second in the landing with a gun. You have to assume, right. The guy on the third floor is armed.
Greg Coker
Right.
Matt Bissonnette
So he takes a shot. Enough within the rules of engagement to shoot at that head.
Brent Tucker
Yeah.
Matt Bissonnette
And he decides to stay in the hallway. He decides to come off.
Brent Tucker
You know what's crazy? Again, Every point he's making is literally the same point that I've made that says this doesn't make sense. And now Matt's finally saying it. The reason why me and him have the same exact points of why this doesn't make sense is because we're both Tier one operators and we went through the same training, and those are CQB truths. This isn't. This isn't SEAL specific. This isn't Delta specific. This is Tier one. This is cqb.
Brian Callan
Really?
Brent Tucker
Not even Tier one. A white side SEAL knows to follow his shots. A Green Beret knows to follow his shots. Really? They may not have the reps to. To make it. Muscle memory. The 82nd guy knows to follow his shots in the CQB training. He does. And so to think that these senior guys who know CQB the best. Best in the world. I mean, Delta Force and SEAL Team Six, both best in the world. And you have team leaders and assistant team leaders who have been doing it the longest. He's gonna forget to follow his shots. No, no, no, I can't buy that. I can. We'll never buy that.
Magnet
But that's my point about his story that he said that he was standing behind bin Laden, was standing behind the women inside the room. And if the ruling of engagement, what he's saying, then how's that in the rules of engagement? If you're saying that you walked in the room and he's standing behind Amal and whoever else was in there.
Brent Tucker
I. I understand what you're saying about the rules of engagement, but here's. And people wouldn't know this unless they did what I did, which was looking and I didn't do anything, which was do it. Everything. Look at every single one of his podcasts and try to figure out the. What Rob's. Rob says at the beginning of his podcast career that he saw an AK47 over by the bed and that ra. Then the Osama looked at it and made a move for it, like, almost like a twitch move for it, and he immediately shot him.
Greg Coker
Yep.
Brent Tucker
He kind of quit saying that part for whatever reason. But that would be him saying that. Well, that's. That's what gave me the authorization to shoot him because I saw him going for his gun. But hold on for a second, because Matt's going to tell you where his gun was. All right, let's keep going.
Matt Bissonnette
The. The known threat that he just shot at and chased women and kids. What team guys doing that? Why?
Magnet
Where?
Matt Bissonnette
And then where are the kids? Where's the women and kids? I've heard 38 different versions from other people of where the women were, the women were in the room. Right. That's where the chick was wounded in the leg. Women were in the room, not out of the room. So if the first week you can pull up the sketches in the layout of the third floor, right up the set of stairs, open door on the right.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Matt Bissonnette
Shots go right. Point man follows his shots to the doorway. He doesn't stay in the hallway. He doesn't come off of where he just shot at an adult male head in bin Laden's compound on the third floor.
Andy Stumpf
Tactically, what you're saying, who is all
Matt Bissonnette
of a sudden gonna be like, okay, even.
Brent Tucker
Even Andy. Andy's like. Tactically, what you're saying makes sense.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Matt Bissonnette
This way there's Just nobody that does that. There's not a team out there that does that. You follow your shots. And that's exactly what he did.
Brent Tucker
He wasn't at the stairwell.
Andy Stumpf
Were you guys able to be double stacked?
Tim Kennedy
There's a picture of.
Matt Bissonnette
Pull it up online.
Andy Stumpf
Are you serious?
Drew Hansen
Yeah.
Andy Stumpf
Shows you how little I've been looking at it.
Brent Tucker
All right, double speed. This drew.
Brian Callan
Jesus, Michael.
Brent Tucker
This seems pretty good.
Matt Bissonnette
That's not the best picture. You could you pull some up from my book. And then there's an actual live shot of the stairwell.
Brent Tucker
Okay.
Matt Bissonnette
I'll see where they. You see blood on it from where they drug them down the other reason.
Tim Kennedy
Pretty narrow hallway and so.
Brent Tucker
Okay, he's gonna bring up that picture now. They're going back.
Andy Stumpf
Point man in your front and the stack behind you. And you take that shot, you might be the only person to see what it is you had taken the shot at. So, yes, tactically what you're saying is it would make. Unless you had some other incredibly compelling reason what you would have to follow that.
Matt Bissonnette
Because what's the higher threat than that? You're. They've told you lives on the third floor. Stick out the male head on the third floor. You. You're willing to take a shot at it. But now all of a sudden, something changes. And you're going to stay in the hallway or you're going to stay in another room, or you're not going to follow your shots.
Greg Coker
Were they under MVGs or were there lights?
Matt Bissonnette
Doesn't make sense. It doesn't work.
Brent Tucker
Low lume.
Matt Bissonnette
That's why he would have been the first person in the room.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Matt Bissonnette
And any other versions don't work.
Magnet
Where were you?
Andy Stumpf
Just so people. I mean, you did an excellent job describing all this on the Sean Ryan episode. Fantastic episode, by the way. So people can understand. What? I don't think they often understand so many things.
Matt Bissonnette
Wait, people don't understand things?
Andy Stumpf
Well, I think they want to believe that it's. It's running around and yelling and ultra high speed. And the reality is oftentimes it's slow and quiet. You know what I mean?
Matt Bissonnette
Well, let's talk about the pacing.
Brent Tucker
Yeah.
Matt Bissonnette
This was not a hostage rescue style mission where it was burned through the house.
Andy Stumpf
Yeah. Where you absorb the maximum amount of risk as you're trying to save.
Matt Bissonnette
Save a hostage message. That wasn't it. We had. We had evolved our tactics a little bit. I talk a lot about, hey, don't, don't run to your death. Right. Let's be slow and methodical. There was no Rush, the only sense of urgency was, okay, do they have sfs, Is the house rigged to blow and are they prepping some, but that's still not dictating our tactics to just sprint upstairs.
Andy Stumpf
Yeah.
Matt Bissonnette
So it was slow and methodical, the two trains going up the stairs. I just don't understand. I don't see. I don't. You can talk and maybe I'll get him to come to an interview with you. He was the, the breacher that breached the, the bottom of the stairs. He's the point man that led up to the, the second floor. And he'll tell you, he's like, yeah, I stood there and called for more bodies for a handful of minutes. Minutes, probably a long time, but yeah, because everybody was going busting right by him to go to the third floor.
Brent Tucker
So this is really important.
Greg Coker
I don't.
Brent Tucker
And I hope people understand what he just said, like how, how wildly different that was than Rob o' Neill's version. Rob o' Neal said they had to go to the third floor because everyone was still clearing the second floor. They saw movement. So they made the decision to go up there just as a two man element. Like, we got, we gotta go.
Tim Kennedy
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
Well, the reality was, according to Matt, and again it checks out with me logically, knowing the mindset of, of the boys, sure, they knew this was Bin Laden's house and they've all said that they knew it was. And they've also said, I mean, we thought it was, we hoped it was, but it wasn't until really we landed. And when we got to the first floor, we saw a huge metal door going to that inside. The front door was open and on the bottom floor. But they knew that from imagery.
Greg Coker
Right.
Brent Tucker
But so they, they assumed it would still be open and when they got inside. But what they couldn't see is when they got inside there was a room, but in that room leading into the rest of the compound was a big fortified metal door. And they had to stop and deal with that metal door. And I know this from fighting in three different countries and going after high value targets. You want to know what I've never seen on the first floor? A massive metal door keeping, keeping someone really important safe, safe. And so they say, they say the guys I talked to when we saw that, no one really said it, but it had the same feeling. I, I think this is it, Jack. Yeah, this is it. That was like our confirmation moment. And then. And we, and their information was told, you'll probably run into Khalid on the second floor. And they Ran into him in the stairwell. And when they ran into Khalid on the. In the stairwell and the point man shot him and killed him with an AK when. Now they have two things. Big metal door we've never seen. Yeah, Khalid is on the second floor. And so now they're all excited because they're, they said, well, you know what, you know, the next thing is if everything else has been right, the dominoes are falling. The dominoes are falling. Bid lawns on the third floor. We have to get to them. We have to get to them now. And everybody ran to the third floor. Tactically not correct, or I almost don't want to say not correct. Tactically not normal. You normally clear a building systematically, but if you have information telling you where the high value target is, you can absolutely bypass to. It was they didn't do it based off no information. They had indicators and they decided to act on that. Not wrong.
Greg Coker
No.
Brent Tucker
The point man going up to the second floor wasn't wrong by holding on to the second floor because. Well, one, you have to hold on to that. You have to pull security long and make sure everyone get to the third floor. But he was, he was assuming people were coming with him, that we're going to systematically clear this the way we always do. And when the guy on the second floor says, I was there holding, waiting for a squeeze, waiting for people, and no one came because the whole train went to the third floor. If that's true, and Matt even said, I'll get you the guy on the show to talk to him, that, that did that, that would absolutely blow Rob's story completely out of the water. Saying that we didn't have the manpower to go to the third floor because everyone's on the second floor. And Matt saying the second floor wasn't an issue at all because we, we essentially ignored it, which means they would. Had to come back and clear it after the third floor. And we just ran to the third floor. And if that's true, you had all the manpower in the world. There's no. It blows. It blows your two train theory out of the water. When he lied about lying and he goes, actually, well, what happened? There's two different trains. There was no two trains. There was no. Just two people going up there. There was one long train of bloodthirsty SEAL Team 6 operators that wanted to kill Osama bin Laden.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
And they were. Then they weren't wrong by doing it.
Greg Coker
No, no. Did they have to breach that steel door?
Brent Tucker
They did.
Greg Coker
Okay.
Brent Tucker
They did. Yep. I think they, if I remember, right. They.
Magnet
They.
Brent Tucker
I think they banded together a couple different charges that the guys had on them to make a bigger charge, and then they got through it.
Magnet
Okay.
Brent Tucker
All right, let's keep going. Drew. That was such. That's such a huge part. That part of the story alone takes Rob's whole version out.
Greg Coker
Wow.
Matt Bissonnette
Everybody was going by. He got some guys to help him clear the second floor because we all blew right past him to the third
Andy Stumpf
floor, which is the opposite of the other publicly recognized narrative where there wasn't enough bodies.
Matt Bissonnette
And all of a sudden, the split happened between second.
Andy Stumpf
Clear the second floor. So they were left holding on the
Brent Tucker
third, got excited, got ahead of it, but they covered it in a proper debrief.
Matt Bissonnette
You hear from all these different angles, and you hear from the guy there who's like, yeah, man. Everybody.
Brent Tucker
He's like, best.
Matt Bissonnette
You were a train jumper.
Brian Callan
You. You blew right past.
Brent Tucker
You went upstairs.
Matt Bissonnette
I'm like, oh, I guess I did.
Andy Stumpf
Listen, sometimes you have to jump the train Sometimes. Yeah, sometimes. Where were you? Just so people. Again, you can do a. The deep dive with Sean was fantastic, but I want people to understand what you would have been able to see versus what you wouldn't have been able to see. Just to encapsulate that.
Matt Bissonnette
If you guys can find the picture of the hallway.
Brent Tucker
Good.
Brian Callan
Michael, do your research.
Andy Stumpf
Today's episode is brought to you by Better Help Man. There are so many things in life,
Brent Tucker
and that stress or anxiety. It's his personal.
Andy Stumpf
It could be relationships.
Brent Tucker
Sorry, Michael.
Andy Stumpf
Props for finding this, but promoting your.
Brent Tucker
Your ads.
Andy Stumpf
No, he didn't.
Greg Coker
All right.
Brent Tucker
2x this teamwork.
Andy Stumpf
Yeah, that is true. It's from Yadwee's book, so.
Brian Callan
No, no. That's where my first book.
Andy Stumpf
How did you send the stairwell pictures?
Brent Tucker
There it is.
Andy Stumpf
All right, so that's pretty tight stairwell.
Greg Coker
It's not that tight.
Brent Tucker
Yeah, it's tight enough not to put two people up at a time, but
Andy Stumpf
it's just so we can make it stand alone.
Brent Tucker
It's a good stairwell to work as a one man.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
Yeah.
Andy Stumpf
Were you able to see versus not able to see?
Matt Bissonnette
Not a enormous amount, but enough to see a.
Andy Stumpf
So that 180 goes up to Michael. Go one more image back. So does that 180 lead to the third? Got you right there.
Tim Kennedy
Okay.
Greg Coker
Okay. Entry room. Okay.
Matt Bissonnette
This is why I said when the point man took the shots.
Brent Tucker
Yep.
Matt Bissonnette
The wives were not in the hallway. The wives were not across the hallway. The wives were in the bedroom behind the man.
Andy Stumpf
And you were saying there is so why would.
Matt Bissonnette
Why would the point man take shots and then stay in an empty hallway that he can very clearly see as an empty hallway.
Magnet
Right.
Matt Bissonnette
Very easily see. Or why would he take shots and then go into another bedroom? How would he let anybody around him to now enter the room in front of him? I don't know. I don't know rules of engagement.
Brent Tucker
That's why we don't.
Magnet
Right.
Matt Bissonnette
Capture or kill. This was not a kill only mission. Right. We were. If he was. Did not present a threat.
Greg Coker
Right.
Matt Bissonnette
I think other versions have said the women were in the room.
Greg Coker
Right.
Matt Bissonnette
Bin Laden was hiding behind one of the women. So the mod was hiding behind one of the women. Where are the women that were outside the room that the point man diverted to? I don't understand.
Brent Tucker
That was the bear hugging. And I just want to point this out. When it comes to just, you know, I don't expect everyone to go back to, you know, older episodes or remember everything I said. The other problem with Rob's account of him holding a mall as a human shield, which Magnet brought up is that the White House themself. When questioned about Amal being a human shield, they came out. And you can Google it still to this day and find it. And the White House says no one. We can confirm that no one was being held as a human shield. The White House itself said no one was being held as a human shield. So if you don't believe me and you don't believe Matt, I don't know, believe the White House, but all three of us can't be wrong. All right, let's keep going.
Andy Stumpf
Interesting thing afterwards, right. That the other version talks about. He basically took a shot, but then
Matt Bissonnette
corralled the way hugged, right? Yeah, but the women were in the room. The women weren't in the hallway. So if he. If he took a shot and then stayed in the hallway. Sure, but there was no women in the hallway. There was no women across the room. The women were in the room. So he would have had to enter the room. He shot the guy on the ground, which is what I say shot him. He's on the ground now. He enters the room and pushes the two women back. I listened to your interview with the other guy the other day. He mentions in that interview, I don't know if you remember, that the point man jumped on the two women and the women had grenades.
Andy Stumpf
Did he say that on that?
Matt Bissonnette
He said that. Listen to it. Your interview, he said I should have recommended for the Medal of Honor.
Drew Hansen
He jumped on.
Matt Bissonnette
They didn't go off Those women did not have grenades. They didn't have anything. There was no sfs, there was no explosives. One of the women had been some shot, wounded, something in the leg, the calf area. I didn't deal with her much. I was taking photos of the body
Brent Tucker
and maybe right about that but of course I watched that and we covered it. I don't remember Rob saying that they definitely had grenades. I believe Rob said that they might have had grenades and they might have had an S vest but Matt seems pretty adamant about that and he might be right but at least want to correct the. Not correct the record but at least say and he doesn't remember that and I'm not so sure that's what he said. I believe he said he might have but anyway I just want to, again just want to be fair and I call it as I see it all that.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Matt Bissonnette
But somehow she had been wounded. So I, I just, if you can explain to me where the women were because a lot of the versions I've heard from the other people or the women were in the room and Bin Laden was hiding behind them or whatever.
Andy Stumpf
Yeah.
Matt Bissonnette
Where's. Where's the threat? The rules of Engage. Where's the gun?
Andy Stumpf
I know they eventually found one in the room, but it was in the trip she found ssc. Yeah.
Matt Bissonnette
Above the door on a shelf. Bin Laden standing in the doorway right above the shelf. Troop leader found an AK five minutes into the search.
Brent Tucker
So let me, let me. Where's above the door And I just want to paint that picture. So if you're walking into the door you have, what do you want to call that drop down piece of, you know the, the top of the door that's part of the wall. I'm sure there's a word for that but you couldn't see it walking in. But if you walked in, took three steps, turned back around the header if you will of that's where the gun was.
Greg Coker
Okay.
Brent Tucker
So it goes back to Rob's original lie where he said there his AK was by his bed. He saw him look at it, thought he was making a move for it and killed him.
Greg Coker
Kill him.
Brent Tucker
If Rob was the only one that went into the room by himself and was staring at Osama bin Laden unless he has eyes in the back of his head.
Greg Coker
Right.
Brent Tucker
He would have never been able to see where the AK he was. It's not where you said it was. The gun wasn't found until several minutes into, into s. Into sse. And so just another thing that just, it's just use when there's one lie, there's two. There's two, there's three, and it's a snowball.
Greg Coker
And then a right domino.
Brent Tucker
It's a domino. And once you have that many lies, it's hard to keep it together. Yep. All right, let's keep going, Drew.
Greg Coker
I agree.
Matt Bissonnette
There's the threat for the rules of engagement to enter the.
Brent Tucker
If.
Matt Bissonnette
If you entered the room, saw him face to face. Where's the gun? Where. Rules of engagement. Wise.
Brian Callan
Right.
Matt Bissonnette
Where's the threat to engage? There's. He doesn't have a gun. If the point man engaged coming up the stairs and he only saw a head sticking down, looking at us.
Andy Stumpf
Yeah.
Matt Bissonnette
Right. Khalid had just been shot down 10ft with a gun in hand. We just stepped over his body. We're both going to assume that the next head popping out further up the stairs probably has a gun or the device to clack or a grenade or something.
Magnet
I would agree.
Brent Tucker
If you see his whole body and you see his hands, you know he's unarmed.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
You just ran into someone that was armed, and then the. And seconds later, you see someone poking their body out.
Brian Callan
That.
Brent Tucker
That is subjective. And that is a call on the point man. Whatever he deems.
Andy Stumpf
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
Is a threat. He doesn't see his hands. He doesn't know. And he doesn't have to wait to get shot at.
Greg Coker
No.
Brent Tucker
So he absolutely can take that shot. Of course. Matt's absolutely right, because that's the reality. Tell you, if people wonder why I take Matt's side, because everything Matt says is how we do business, that checks out. Everything he's saying checks out. Nothing that Rob is saying checks out with the way we do business. And, oh, by the way, the White House says, that's not how it happened. The gun isn't where it was. Who shot Amal in the leg. If you're the only one shooting and you're shooting people in the face, I. The other story has so many holes. Holes and questions. And again, if you're a civilian and you didn't know any better, you would be like, oh, that's a really entertaining story. That's great. What a hero. But anyone else that worked this level would hear that story and be like, this is. That's not. That's not how it. That's not how it works. All right, let's keep going. See what else. Matt has engagement.
Matt Bissonnette
The point man took shots.
Andy Stumpf
Yeah. I see that we're under hostile act,
Matt Bissonnette
but if you now enter the room and bin Laden standing there unarmed, which we know he was where's the threat? Per rules of engagement?
Andy Stumpf
I don't have answers to those questions.
Matt Bissonnette
I don't either. I, I'm just saying I always go back to what I saw, what we talked about in the aar, Right. The point man talks through his actions. Nobody counters those. Right. Nobody saw anything different to counter it. Unless you're telling me. And, and you did the interview where somebody said they had not told the 100 truth or whatever. Okay. That's on them. I don't know anything about that.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Matt Bissonnette
I've certainly never done a debrief where you don't tell the whole truth because you've got enough people around who saw other pieces. They're going to bring it up.
Magnet
Right.
Matt Bissonnette
So nobody brought up the idea, you know, in the debrief nobody mentioned anything about a second train. Nobody mentioned anything about a delay. Nobody mentioned any of that in the audio recorded debrief.
Brent Tucker
And by the way, you know, would have to be privy to this lie because everyone would have to be a part of it. Well, Matt would have to be part of this lie because everyone has to be a part of it. So Matt absolutely would have heard if they were trying to, you know, scheme this thing up.
Greg Coker
This is a story.
Brent Tucker
Right. All right, let's keep going.
Matt Bissonnette
Brief. That was fine. Change. Come back to the States and all of a sudden the story had, had changed. And, and now you have other people stepping out in front of this other narrative. But here's the problem. Why did you lie to the, the one group that the most. The group you should be honest with.
Brent Tucker
Yeah.
Matt Bissonnette
But then come back and tell the whole world and everybody at different, the bar or wherever else a different story. That's the confusion. Right. There was, we got back from the ray, there was a lot of confusion going around because there was people saluting Rob. When we met the President, there was, there was stuff that was just really odd and it kept like, wow, this is interesting. And at one point, our Master Chief pulled the first four guys that were in the room into his office. And this is after we got back from the mission and, and o' Neill's even talked about this. Master Chief pulled us all in his office.
Greg Coker
Right.
Matt Bissonnette
One by one, questioned each of us. I don't know if they re. Listened to the audio. I don't know what they did. They talked to all of us. A couple weeks later, Rob moved to another squadron. So I don't know. I don't know. I, I don't know. I don't care.
Brent Tucker
I'm not trying to, I'm telling you from experience, you don't. Very few people in our unit has moved squadrons. I can think of a handful. And it's never been for a good cause.
Greg Coker
Nope.
Brent Tucker
It's. It's not. And, and of course, you know, everyone knows that Rob got moved to Silver Squadron. And not everyone realizes what a red flag that is. He grew up in Red Squadron. He's a team leader in Red Squadron. And when you get back from the biggest mission and they no longer want you in Red Squadron.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
And if you were the guy who killed Bin Laden like you said, you'd be a national treasure. Red Squadron isn't giving you up for anything. Nothing yet. After this meeting, they're more than happy to get rid of you. Okay. I got, I got some questions about that. And apparently so does Matt.
Andy Stumpf
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
And again, rightfully so. All right, let's see what else. Let's see what else he has to say.
Andy Stumpf
How many people could have realistically seen what happened right there, where the shots were taken? Because I know you were you third or fourth in the train at that point.
Matt Bissonnette
How many people could have seen the shots from where and which shots?
Andy Stumpf
The talk about just the schematic that we're looking at right now. So we'll say the top.
Matt Bissonnette
The initial point man shots.
Andy Stumpf
Yeah.
Matt Bissonnette
From the top of the stairs. How many people could have seen it?
Andy Stumpf
Yeah,
Matt Bissonnette
maybe your first three. But, but, but still you probably would have heard it more than seen it for sure.
Andy Stumpf
And I've had to be cockeyed way off.
Brian Callan
Yeah.
Andy Stumpf
Side to try to get his ability.
Matt Bissonnette
And if you're saying seeing the guy shoot or seeing the guy get hit, I mean that's a.
Andy Stumpf
Just actually see what happened because that's where the, the divergence again seems to come from.
Matt Bissonnette
Well, the divergence seems to come from the second deck where now all of a sudden there's this gap that. That allows for separation and allows for this gap that's appeared.
Andy Stumpf
Yeah.
Matt Bissonnette
And I don't think the gap ever. I don't think the gap is ever
Brian Callan
addressed in the ar.
Tim Kennedy
Which it would be addressed. Unless you're telling me there's some sort
Brent Tucker
of massive cover up and you got
Matt Bissonnette
all the assaulters to, to cover up a story for what now, now that's
Tim Kennedy
a much bigger issue.
Matt Bissonnette
Right.
Tim Kennedy
And if there's other versions of.
Matt Bissonnette
While we're taking the photo, somebody comes in canoes, the face. Another massive cover up that you need
Tim Kennedy
to be able to pull off to
Matt Bissonnette
get everybody to now not talk about
Brent Tucker
somebody coming in the middle of the
Matt Bissonnette
SE photo Shooting in the face.
Tim Kennedy
So they're sorry.
Matt Bissonnette
That is a major, major issue if somebody does that.
Brent Tucker
We talked about that before, but since we're covering this and he just brought it up, we, we have to cover it again. In Rob's lie, one of the things he's trying to cover up. And Rob is saying, well, here's one of the things we had to lie about because now we have to. Now you have to insert a lie to cover up for your other lie. Right. And so the question would be, well, what is it that you felt like you had to cover? Why would you need to lie? So now he has to come up with a reason for this and Rob's reasonable. And again, it's only going to get by the people who don't know any better. But to anyone else that hears, any veteran, any special operations guy hears this is going to go, nope, just know. And here's what the story is. He said as he was holding Osama bin Laden's head and doing the, the doing SSC and, and the pid, which is in. Within the SSC process. He says an assaulter comes into the room and takes a shot and hits him in the head while he's kneeling over him. That's crazy. It's crazy. So you don't start SSE until, until the objective is completely secure. And if it's secure, it means no one's running, anybody's going to shooting anything because, you know, we completely own this building. So to even say it's such a black eye to the SEAL community by saying that that's what happened. Again, these are TLs and two ICS senior guys. They're one. You either didn't know you started SSC before Objective Secure, which would never happen in the world of ever, or you had called Objective secure. And this guy, this wild card, comes running into the room blasting, while he sees his other fellow assaulters in kit leaning over this guy. It was like, screw it, I'm gonna send rounds into his head just for the fun of it.
Greg Coker
No.
Brent Tucker
Would just never happen. It's one of the, it's one of the more wild lies Rob has ever said. And he doesn't understand how bad he makes the SEAL community look. He makes it look like they don't understand how to SSE or how to communicate and that guys will just. Guys will just send rounds while other guys are around a dead body. That's a really bad look. Yeah, it didn't happen because they're better than that. Yeah, it makes them look like they will lie during a debrief to cover up their. To cover their own butts. That's a wild thing to say about a group of heroes that just took out the world's number one terrorist and avenged 9 11. And now you're going to put a stain on all those guys by either calling them incompetent or calling them liars. That's. That's. I don't know if he realizes that's when you tell that story in his mind is he's only worrying about how do I fix this? And he doesn't zoom out and see what he's doing to his fellow teammates that put it all on the line that night. Putting his. Putting. Putting his fame and fortune above. Above those guys's reputation. Names. It's just. It's.
Greg Coker
Yeah, I can't grasp.
Brent Tucker
It's tough. Yeah, right.
Brian Callan
It's.
Brent Tucker
I can't. No one in your unit would ever do that. No, absolutely. All right, let's. Let's keep going.
Matt Bissonnette
Debrief. I'm sorry.
Andy Stumpf
Well, and again, so I'm going to reference exactly what Rob said, and you can address it or not, but he basically said that he was the one doing the SSC photos when that person came in, shot him at close range. But you're saying you were doing the photos on your camera? Oh, there is a.
Matt Bissonnette
Rob said it was his hands holding the. I. I don't know, brother.
Brian Callan
I don't know. Okay, fair enough.
Matt Bissonnette
I'm gonna.
Brian Callan
I'm.
Matt Bissonnette
I'm not gonna guess what Rob says. I don't know. I haven't watched all his interviews. I haven't. I'm only going to speak to what I saw. And what I know is in the debrief.
Greg Coker
Right.
Matt Bissonnette
With everybody there, that was audio recorded. And so that's what's hard for me to understand is if. If this was some type of COVID up to change the story, then, okay, that's on Rob and he can explain that. Yeah, that's not on me. My version has always been what we debriefed. And. And I don't think the debrief was a setup or. I don't think. I don't know. And I don't know how it could have been.
Brian Callan
I don't.
Brent Tucker
I've never been to too many of them.
Andy Stumpf
And I don't know how. I don't know how you would set up a debrief like that either.
Brent Tucker
See it as a viable option.
Andy Stumpf
You'll record the debriefs.
Matt Bissonnette
It's the first one I've Ever done?
Andy Stumpf
I was going to ask. I don't ever remember doing it.
Matt Bissonnette
Well, I would think because of the historical significance.
Drew Hansen
I'm not saying it shouldn't have been done.
Matt Bissonnette
That historically should be recorded for posterity sake.
Brian Callan
Yeah, kind of a.
Matt Bissonnette
Kind of a big moment. It's probably pulled out of cell phone. Let's record this. So we've got this.
Drew Hansen
Should the skipper really have had his cell phone?
Brian Callan
I mean,
Brent Tucker
I'm not here to judge. I'm not here.
Matt Bissonnette
But as somebody who got a whole lot of trouble from the government for classification unclassification issues, recording that debrief on his unclass cell phone probably could have been done in a smarter form.
Andy Stumpf
Like you could get issued a sensitive recording device that could have been used.
Brent Tucker
I would want to exit just for a second.
Andy Stumpf
Where do you think that recording is today? I don't know.
Matt Bissonnette
That's why it's a savvy attorney with
Tim Kennedy
some good foil skills.
Andy Stumpf
Tonight on national security grounds.
Matt Bissonnette
Yeah, I don't know where it is. I brought up the government multiple times as they were coming after me. Like, look, he's got it on his cell phone.
Tim Kennedy
Do you guys have it?
Matt Bissonnette
They never, they never admit that they had it or heard it.
Andy Stumpf
Yeah, I don't know if one necessarily
Tim Kennedy
has to do with the other, but
Brian Callan
that was a hookup.
Tim Kennedy
Aggression, scary.
Matt Bissonnette
First one.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
How high the ground did you guys
Tim Kennedy
kind of bounce in?
Matt Bissonnette
40ft Pretty good.
Andy Stumpf
All right.
Brent Tucker
They, they cover a couple other things later on, you'll just have to, you can, if you haven't watched it, go watch the whole thing. He does bring up one of the things Matt got in trouble for, or not necessarily in trouble for, but had, because he, he was taking the pictures. And this is how he, he still had those little cameras that we used to carry for. Yeah, for. For SSC purposes.
Andy Stumpf
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
You know, back in the day I had the same one and I, you know, I'd bring it home and it stayed in my kit bag.
Magnet
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
When he got out, he, he took his home and he let his, he let his kid play with it. And at some point he was like, oh, let me see that thing. He's looking. And it had a bunch of old SSE photos on it. And usually you're, you know, you're taking photos of guns, you know, any, any intel, but also dead bodies, because that's part of the proof of where everyone was. And UBL is, is in there. And he, he had that for the longest time. And he said when he got in trouble with the government on his first book, he ended up erasing it to ensure that he didn't have, you know, anything he wasn't supposed to have.
Andy Stumpf
Sure.
Brent Tucker
But he's, like, in that photo, there's not three shots to his face, and it's canoed wide open. You have to hold his face together, like Rob claims. It just has an entry wound in. In the forehead, and those are. Those are pretty clean. It's the exit wounds that. That are the problem.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
So, again, just something else that makes sense, and. And Rob. And Rob's version just does not. I'll tell you something else that doesn't make sense to me, and if you were coming at me with one of my stories, I'd be pretty. You only get, really two responses right at the. As a man. And I get it. While someone would want to defend their honor, if you really thought you were telling the truth, you. You can either just ignore it and be like, it's not worth my time.
Magnet
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
You know, I've had some people question some of my stuff. I don't go after them and go, like, what proof do you want to talk to my friends?
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
Like, you're.
Andy Stumpf
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
Why do I have nothing. I have nothing to prove to you. And that is a valid response that some people have. Now, once it raises to this level and there's a big commotion, you do have to defend yourself, and usually you defend yourself with facts and. And different ways. Let's see how Rob. One of Rob's first tweets he sends out after this episode. Let's see what it is. You got it, Drew, real quick. Yeah.
Greg Coker
Do you think maybe Rob and all that was going on, he enters the room and sees that, yeah, it's ubl, and he doesn't have a weapon even close to him, that he's like, oh, shoot, man. He didn't have a weapon. I didn't. I broke Roe. I mean, there's no telling what was going on.
Brent Tucker
There's no chance that happened because there was never a time Rob was in the room with UBL standing up by himself.
Brian Callan
Okay.
Brent Tucker
The point man took the shot, nailed him in. Nailed him twice, actually. He fell back in the room, either dead or dying, and he followed his shots, and several other teammates went into that room, and they did what they were supposed to do, and they continued to shoot at a dead body, which you can, because you haven't confirmed it to be dead yet. Maybe there were still some last breaths, you know, left as. As he was dying out. And I do believe, and I've said this before, I do believe Rob put rounds in bin Laden. That's not. That's never. I've never said, like, no, he didn't shoot him at all then. It's. It's all a lie. He shot him, just not in any form or fashion the way he said it happened. And he was never the one and only man to kill Osama bin Laden. That's wildly inaccurate.
Greg Coker
Okay.
Brent Tucker
All right, let's see. Let's see what Rob had to say. Damn. This first interview without an attorney and you get Red mentioned on Fox. You trying to get him to finally fess up. You're really not good at this. So it was. That's a wild thing to defend yourself with is basically shaming him, that one. This never mentioned Red that whole interview, even though he just blames him for getting Red mentioned on Fox. Biss never mentioned Red. He always mentioned him as the point man. So just Rob being Rob and you trying to finally get him to fess up. What. What kind of thinly veiled threat is that? As if you're. You have some sort of dirt on people hiding.
Greg Coker
What are you hiding?
Brent Tucker
What? Right. It's just. It isn't a. It's not a good look. That. That is your defense. Let me tell you what else is in a good look. Let's go to that second one. Thank you for getting it up there, Drew. Yep. Here's the other one. Mike Peterson said it's been 15 years. Leave it to rest. Mchuya decides to tell Mike Peterson, you're an effing at this point.
Greg Coker
Wow.
Brent Tucker
What?
Drew Hansen
Why?
Brent Tucker
Okay, all right. I guess you can act like that if. If you want, but it's. This isn't the first time. Anytime someone like Matt or me have come out and. And questioned him, he has absolutely lost it. And I. I knew he would be at it again and be worried about what. What Matt Bissonnet was. Was going to say. And now he's going to have to figure out back to the drawing board, how do I defend against this? I. I wouldn't suggest that's how you defend against this. That's. That's wild. But, yeah, that's way off the chart. That's. You know, and again, I. I'm not saying. I'm not saying that I do everything right. I'm not saying I represent the unit perfectly. But again, at the end of the day, you are a representation of a true one, and you know that you wouldn't. You're. You're retired. But the weight of the 1/60 sore and its reputation. It, it, it's on your shoulders. Yes, sir. And you, you know, you can't come in, come on this show and act the fool and think, well, that's just, you know, that's just great, Coker. That's. Yeah, it's going to take. No, no, you can't. You would never say that on the Internet. Not because of you, but because of your unit. You, you, you wear that for the rest of your life.
Greg Coker
Always. Every day.
Brent Tucker
Yeah, every day. Well, Drew, that is, that covers it. I know we have a ton of, of super chats to get to, and maybe these guys have, have some questions. I know we have some super chats that weren't relevant to this conversation because we didn't get to them yet. So let's see if we can speed through them and, and get to it.
Drew Hansen
All right. Just butter says, would you count deployments if you're an Air Force maintainer that deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq?
Brent Tucker
Of course I would. Because you're doing it under the, under the government.
Andy Stumpf
Yes.
Drew Hansen
Holy food.
Brent Tucker
In uniform. Yes.
Drew Hansen
Greg, any hilos you never got to fly that you wanted to, Any missions you wanted to do but never got to? Did you ever get to visit any interesting places at Nevada test ranges? Outro, same Queen Strike.
Brent Tucker
Okay. Slowly working up there.
Greg Coker
Oh, yeah, slowly. No, I, I, no, I flew what I wanted to fly. And I didn't care about getting in a Blackhawk or a Schnook. I'm a gun guy.
Brent Tucker
Yeah, yeah, it's, it's in the recording, but I'll leak it a little bit. I thought it was really cool. You grew up as a guy who watched, watched updates, you know, on Vietnam, and, and that was something that, that was a part of you growing up. And then when you went to flight school. Yeah, you got to fly. Huey's in flight school. And I think that's super cool.
Greg Coker
It was really cool.
Brent Tucker
Yeah. And it's the distinct sound of that Huey rotor blade is unlike any other helicopter. You know, when you hear one.
Greg Coker
Yep.
Drew Hansen
Greg, I have a super chat question for you.
Brian Callan
Sure.
Drew Hansen
Would you prefer to watch Blue Thunder or Airwolf?
Greg Coker
Airwolf.
Tim Kennedy
Nice.
Brian Callan
Nice.
Brent Tucker
Okay.
Drew Hansen
But you know what? It didn't matter what your answer was. It was still cool.
Matt Bissonnette
That's right.
Brent Tucker
It's a win win situation.
Drew Hansen
Zulu Whiskey says, What up, boys? 12 and a half barrel with KC chode can or 10 and a half barrel with full size RC2.
Brent Tucker
And why I won't be, I won't be cornered into that question. Why can't I have a little KC chode can and a 10 and a half inch barrel. Why can't I have what I want?
Magnet
Both.
Brent Tucker
Yeah, that's right. That's what I want.
Drew Hansen
Is Overdog the same as up dog. What's up, dog? Just another 11B says home now. Red, white and blue raz monster chased by FRCC bourbon and a Delta Tri.
Brent Tucker
Just another love. Bravo knows how to do it. He knows how to do.
Magnet
How much did he pay Mike Perry for that podcast?
Brent Tucker
I know not everyone knows, but it's not a huge secret. He, he, he bought that whole following by buying Mike Perry's podcast.
Drew Hansen
And no.
Brent Tucker
And by, by the way, and I, again, I don't take joy in this. I, I say this because I want him to see this and say, hey, the, let's, let's, let's go. Let's go the full, let's go the full amount. Let's, let's do this right.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
The comment section on that YouTube video is horrendous. They are beating him up so bad in that comment section, and he has. I know he sees it. I know he sees it. And, you know, I don't take joy in that. I hope that's the motivation he needs. You're like, you know what? I didn't, I didn't do it right. I, I, I need to do better.
Greg Coker
Yeah. Just man up. All right.
Drew Hansen
I don't know what to do with this one. Nobody says, you said if you were to start over again, you wouldn't go seal. Why is that? SWCC boats diving and maritime ops are pretty cool, no?
Brent Tucker
Oh, they're way cool. Way cool. I just, if I, because if I said if I do it over again, I would go rangers first, then SF and still try to go to Delta. And I just, I just think, think realistically, especially in my particular time period, that's the best place to go to get the best missions and work with the best people. And that's not any sort of a hit on seals. That's just the mission sets that were going around, what they were doing at the time and who you were working with.
Greg Coker
You bet.
Drew Hansen
Right wing nut says squish spear, gold DOT or federal HST 9 millimeter. And why is it, though? 124 grains, I guess.
Magnet
That's great.
Brent Tucker
Yes. I've, I've, I've always, I've shot a bunch of federal, so I'm, I'm gonna go federal. That's, I'm gonna go with, I'm gonna go with my known. Because I don't know the Other one too much so I so only say that because I go with the known
Drew Hansen
Brody Martin, our brother. He says I was in third ID during invasion of Iraq in 03. I met some 160th guys at Baghdad airport. Yeah, they gave us Oreos, slim Jims and let us use a sat phone to call home. Those small gestures meant everything to an 18 year old PFC. I'll never forget that.
Greg Coker
Wow. NSDQ.
Brent Tucker
Those are things you take for granted as an 18 echo. I've, I've let some guys use my sat phone to call home and it meant the world to them.
Greg Coker
Yes.
Brent Tucker
And it made me feel bad like I have the sat phone every day if I want it. Yeah, yeah. But it's really cool to be able to do that.
Magnet
It is guys.
Greg Coker
It is.
Drew Hansen
Tyler Austin Music says what do you make of Rob's post about Bissonette getting kind of caught in a lie about the point man who killed Khalid stopping to clear the second floor while another took point going to the third floor.
Brent Tucker
Rob's post about Bisnet getting caught up in a lie about point man who killed. Nope, that's not what he said. That is not what, that's not necessarily what he said. He said that Red killed Khalid and he goes, he just killed Khalid on the second floor and then went up and then. Which was a good shot because he was holding an AK and it was the same guy who went up and took the, the shot which ended up being Bin Laden, which was a shadowy figure of a head poking out. They didn't know that was Bin Laden when they took that shot.
Greg Coker
No way.
Brent Tucker
He's, I believe he's calling, he's calling the guy who held the second floor the point man because for the second floor. He is now the point man for the second floor because he's holding on to it. You now have two point mans but one's holding the second floor and one's going to do the third floor. So that is not a lie. I, I took two seconds for me to figure out what he was saying and Rob, Rob couldn't figure that out. He's, he's, he's again, he's just, he's just stretching, he's stretching for it.
Drew Hansen
He's digging airborne homestead says Mr. Coker. Why are the daps folks so sensitive? I know they are the regiment's baby fellow night stalker here. Snsdq.
Greg Coker
Yeah, we made fun.
Brent Tucker
I knew you'd like that one.
Greg Coker
Yeah, we, we always tell them hey, you gotta wear thong panties.
Brent Tucker
You got, you got Competing guns here. Yeah, of course. Of course. You couldn't just get along. Yeah. It has to turn into a competition always. But that's. But that's what makes the best the best. Yes, it is.
Greg Coker
It does.
Drew Hansen
Kenneth says, I cannot accept an apology from someone that's claimed Purple Heart and Bronze with valor. It's ultimately a disrespect to the MIA POWs that never made it home and a disrespect to the Joes that perished overseas doing valorous actions.
Brian Callan
He can face.
Brent Tucker
God, Kenneth, I'm not going to try to talk you out of that. I gosh, do I get it. I get. I get why you feel that way.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
I'm. I'm going to try to take a. Again, just for me, a more positive and hopeful spin on it. And. And I. I hope it pays off for the good of everyone in the long run because like I said, I think Tim has a lot of good left in him and good to be done. And the only way he can truly see the most out of that good is by. Com. Finally putting this thing to rest through. Through honesty.
Greg Coker
Yes.
Brent Tucker
And. And I'm hoping we can get there. And I'm hoping this is the first step to that. So that's. That's my viewpoint of it. But I. Man, do I understand yours.
Greg Coker
I'm gonna pray for Tim.
Drew Hansen
Kenneth says has there been any word from COC on his investigation for possible war crimes and any word on his tab being pulled for his actions and reference in the book? I really hope his CoC has the integrity and accountability for truth.
Brent Tucker
I'm. He said this in that interview. He referred to that investigation being over. And I don't know what the results of that investigation was. I have no confidence and his chain of command to. And this. This is. Again, I'm not talking on two sides of my mouth. I'm not saying I'm hoping the best form then hoping this, which is a bad thing. I do believe he probably should get his tab pulled for doing it because it doesn't represent there. There. There are consequences to your actions.
Greg Coker
Yes.
Brent Tucker
That doesn't mean that defines who you are for the rest of your life. And you can still change you are as a person and go on and do good things. But I. I have no confidence that. That they did that. So hopefully I'll find out soon.
Drew Hansen
Jesse Mayfield says. Brent, just popping in to let everyone know the real reason your pet name is Squishy is because your hands are soft from not playing guitar enough. When I tap my fingers on the Table. It sounds like an 18 Bravo dropped his rock collection.
Brent Tucker
Look at 18 Bravo dropped his rock collection.
Drew Hansen
Dang.
Brent Tucker
Well articulated, cut down, tip of the hat. Oh, I love it.
Magnet
That.
Brent Tucker
That's how, that's how you give a fellow man a hard time.
Drew Hansen
We should have paid you $25 to say that.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Andy Stumpf
Yes.
Drew Hansen
TG TG Paris says can't wait for Chris next Robinson week.
Brent Tucker
Yes, I can't. I can't wait for next week. Chris Robinson or for. Yeah, yeah. Absolutely still.
Drew Hansen
CDL says. Hey, Brent Corbin here. Love the podcast. It gets me through work. Random question for major raids, is it one Delta squadron or operators from multiple.
Brent Tucker
No, we, we. We always work in organic elements. Whether it be a. A team, a troop or a squadron, it would be. It would be very, very, very, very, very rare to. To mix any of that. Not saying it's zero, but I've never seen it. I don't think it's ever happened. And it'd be wild to see, to see something. I don't know. I don't know every hit. I don't even know if we've ever done a multi squadron hit. But even if we did, each squadron would stay in their respective elements. Not. Not in real world. I think we've done that in training, but I, I don't know enough to. To be adamant about that.
Drew Hansen
David Jeffrey says, what do you think of General Donahue situation? Your Love by the Outfields CD
Brent Tucker
I. I don't like it. I. I think he's paying the price for the Afghanistan withdrawal and I think someone should have paid the price for the aniston for the Afghanistan withdrawal, but I don't think it should have been him.
Greg Coker
No.
Brent Tucker
And I think he's. It's. It's unfortunate. I'm a fan of that guy and I think he's one thing is one of the best and brightest and it was good having someone you know is that good at a very high echelon. Because I'm sure as you know, when you, when the curtain gets pulled back and the higher you go and the more you get to interact with those guys, they're not all impressive. No, no, that's just, that's just the truth.
Greg Coker
Your truth.
Drew Hansen
Airborne Homestead says. Mr. Coker, why are the daps folks down at regiment so sensitive? Little bird pilots. Depths over depths pilots. We want to hear your seer experience.
Brent Tucker
We got, we got little bird fans in the house tonight.
Greg Coker
Yeah. Yeah.
Brent Tucker
The little bird PR campaign is just, just crushing the, the daps guys.
Magnet
It just.
Greg Coker
They're getting hammered center of the universe. That's B Company. Yes, sir.
Brent Tucker
How was, how was your Sierra school, man?
Greg Coker
It was awesome. I was the SRO.
Brent Tucker
Were you the senior ranking officer?
Drew Hansen
I was W2.
Brent Tucker
Okay. Okay.
Greg Coker
Oh, yeah. I said, I know one of you line lieutenants are out here.
Brent Tucker
Yeah.
Magnet
What?
Brent Tucker
Where'd you go to see your school at brag camp? McCall.
Brian Callan
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
Seriously.
Tim Kennedy
Over there.
Brent Tucker
Slappy. Yeah. What a great school.
Greg Coker
What a great school, man.
Brent Tucker
What a hard way to learn some lessons.
Greg Coker
It was one of the best schools. Yeah. Went to.
Brent Tucker
It really shows who you are as a man. It really shows who everyone else is. And you, and you learn some hard lessons no other school is willing to do to show you. It was such a cool experience.
Greg Coker
It was. And we got one of the couple troops came in and, you know, free.
Brent Tucker
I didn't get a rescue. No, no one rescued us per se. They was like, they like kind of faked it and they just kind of raised the flag. Open the gates, and you walked out.
Greg Coker
Okay.
Brent Tucker
And I felt like I was robbed. I didn't, I didn't get the cool, you know, SIF company, squadron, you know, kind of hit that they get to use. I guess everyone was busy fighting wars in 03.
Greg Coker
Yeah, yeah.
Drew Hansen
Papa Penguin pontificate says madman. Maybe the point is when we have maybe statistically significant number of troops standing on lies slash bad behavior. Read The Fitzgerald and McCain reports. 2017. We have a culture problem. And culture is set up. Is set by leadership. Yes.
Brent Tucker
Okay, I, I, I get what you're saying, Papa Penguin. Thanks. Thanks for taking the, the, the madman Jess thing in stride. And you're absolutely, you're absolutely right about that. The, the culture comes really all the way from the top. The top sets the cold. The president sets the culture by who he puts in, in charge as the Secretary of Defense or the War Department, if, if you will, chief and staff. And that's right. And then chief of Staff. Those guys set the culture of, of either they want yes men or they're looking for hard men to do hard things in order to get promoted. And they do. They set the culture of the military and it has a dominant. As a real domino effect. I'll never forget the change that happened when Rumsfeld was put in as the Secretary of Defense and basically came down to Syria and said, said, hey, yeah, what's the hold up? What do you need? And we said, glad you asked. Here's, here's the problem. Here's a problem with the approval process. Here's the problem. And he goes, okay, fixed and after that, it took us years to make it halfway to Raqqa. And after that, it took us. I'm talking in generalities, but. And it took us. After that, it took us months to make it to Raqqa.
Magnet
Wow.
Brent Tucker
Set by the top.
Greg Coker
I'll be darn. Yeah. That's what it should be.
Drew Hansen
A range wizard says you're loved by outfield for outro $5. That song was our sp song when I did route clearance patrols. Anyone that drove a husky has my eternal respect.
Brent Tucker
Yeah. Haven't heard SP in a while. Haven't even thought about SP in a while.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Drew Hansen
Dwazi says. Greg, did you fly to Fortunate Son playing?
Greg Coker
Sure did.
Brent Tucker
You got to, right?
Greg Coker
Clear Water, Hell's Bells, and Fortunate Sun.
Brent Tucker
Love it.
Greg Coker
All right.
Drew Hansen
TBD says. Here's some beer money. Have you ever flown in Alaska, fight to the death? Who you got, Siberian tiger or Kodiak
Brent Tucker
Brown bear asking the tough questions? I love it. You ever fly in Alaska?
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
Really?
Greg Coker
40 below. Oh,
Brent Tucker
thank. Thank goodness you're a gun guy. You didn't have poor operators out there hanging on the skids on the pods. Yeah. Oh, man. Who you taking on that a Siberian. A Siberian tiger or Kodiak Brown bear? Know I want to know. Why you going brown bear? Just a gut feeling or. What do you got gut. I'm going brown bear as well, because it's a home team. You think I'm gonna. You think I'm gonna vote on some foreigner? Some Siberian foreigner? No, no. American. American. Kodiak for the win.
Magnet
Bison.
Brent Tucker
You see what it does to old man? Yeah.
Brian Callan
Was
Drew Hansen
David Hookstead.
Brent Tucker
David Hook.
Greg Coker
Hey, David's in the house.
Drew Hansen
Gravy. Great to see you on the show.
Greg Coker
A.
Drew Hansen
What CAG squadron was your favorite to work with? And why was it C squadron? Oh, that sucker. All jokes. Hope all is well to both of you.
Brent Tucker
Yeah, I know, but you said who you didn't get to work with, and I don't hold that against you. You only know what you know. You only know what you know.
Greg Coker
That's it. Hard.
Brent Tucker
Just. Just so you know, after that, daps are my favorite. You started this.
Magnet
Okay?
Brent Tucker
You started this.
Greg Coker
All right. Can's open. Cannon wolf ass.
Drew Hansen
Do you think more truths will come to light about Red Wings with the recent Ross Schneiderman Politico article and his podcast attention? Do you think the story will be set straight publicly with the resurgence of this topic?
Brent Tucker
If you guys haven't read that article. Ross Schneiderman wrote, like he said, wrote an article in the Politico about red wings and I've done a lot of reading and research and, and questions and I feel like I know a lot about Red Wings and he, whatever research he did, he did a great job and it's a, it's a great eye
Greg Coker
opening to read it.
Brent Tucker
Kind of the truth of what happened at Red Wings. Do I think it's enough to sway the opinion. Here's, here's my thought on that. I'm, I think most of the American people who want to know the truth about that understand that it's been, it's been glorified by the Navy and, and by Marcus Luttrell and, and they know. And the, the other half that don't know, don't care to know. So I think what it's going to do is just give the people who already question it or don't think it was, you know, the ground truth, the book or the movie. It's just going to set them further and firmer on their side than really change opinions. What I think it's going to do.
Drew Hansen
Yeah.
Greg Coker
What's next?
Drew Hansen
Here we have t bone Mr. Coker blink twice. If you knew about the new Blackhawk used on the mission, would you have been nervous? If using a new aircraft on such
Brent Tucker
an important mission, such a. I mean, it's a good, it's a good question.
Greg Coker
Yeah, it is. It's a really good question. And I, I would have to say that that aircraft, I mean the guys flying the machine did an outstanding job of saving it and I, I think they got into set. The wind shifted at the last second and being heavy and hot and got into settling with power. It's the. I've been in it.
Andy Stumpf
Yeah.
Greg Coker
And man, he did a great job. He did.
Brent Tucker
I know for everyone. Not just to walk away from it.
Drew Hansen
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
They assaulted after. They did more than just walk away from it.
Greg Coker
No.
Brent Tucker
They were all without, without injury and without, without a grave serious injury that they couldn't push through. And all the boys went and did what they had to do. And you wanted, and you want, you want your full force on a mission like that. That, that have been huge. Not to take a whole team. Team and a half. Yeah. Out of that equation by them not being able to react to that approach appropriately.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
It's maybe an unfair question because I guess we'll never really know. It's one of the thing Matt Bissonnette, I think took some heat on. On his first book by, by telling the truth. Matt has been vocal about this is for political reasons. They pushed it. They pushed the mission. One, one Night, I think there was. There was an event going on, and I can't remember what it was, but it got pushed 24 hours because the. Because he believes the president wanted to use that other night to be the big announcement and not conflict with a schedule. And when that happened, the temperature went up. I believe it was five degrees.
Greg Coker
Oh, really?
Brent Tucker
And he said that was the difference between them maintaining lift and not having lift. That five degrees is five. Is that possible? I'm gonna. It's a hard thing. It's five degrees enough to make the difference.
Greg Coker
No.
Magnet
No.
Brent Tucker
How do you know how. How big of a degree swing would it make you. Would it have to be for you to go? That's. That's a significant degree shift that can have a difference in. In lift.
Greg Coker
It. It. It'd have to be a bunch. And it's not. It doesn't affect the lift. It affects the performance of the engines.
Brent Tucker
Okay.
Greg Coker
Is what it affects. So it'd have to be 25, 30 degrees. Yeah.
Tim Kennedy
Okay.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Drew Hansen
All right.
Greg Coker
We weren't at very high altitude either.
Drew Hansen
RJ says love that y' all bought Hunt for Red October. Great movie. Have a great night. Led by love of our country. I think he's talking about the book. I think it looks like a VHS
Brent Tucker
a little bit, maybe.
Drew Hansen
Where. Where would love y' all that y' all bought Hunt for Red October.
Brent Tucker
I thought maybe he was given Greg a Sean Connery a reference from.
Drew Hansen
Oh, you brought Hunt. Is it brought.
Brent Tucker
No, it said bot.
Drew Hansen
Yes.
Brent Tucker
Maybe. Maybe.
Drew Hansen
Maybe a male hooker.
Brian Callan
Yeah.
Drew Hansen
All right. Half sack of nades. Thank you for the love, my brother. Look at that. Finally able to catch up on all the videos. Another lawsuit is crazy. Y' all don't know me. Other than a funny name on the screen yet. Brent and the team took the time to check on me when I was going through it. And it really helped me keep my head above water.
Greg Coker
Good.
Drew Hansen
You can't fake character.
Greg Coker
Good.
Brent Tucker
Thank you, brother. Yeah. I appreciate it.
Drew Hansen
My praise.
Brent Tucker
Hope you're doing better. I know you are. Everyone goes through it.
Drew Hansen
Glaucoma. 420. Speaking of funny names.
Brent Tucker
Yeah.
Drew Hansen
When people ask me what is my favorite conspiracy theory? I'll say that Jizro did not kill ubl.
Brent Tucker
It's not a conspiracy theory.
Greg Coker
No.
Drew Hansen
Papa Penguin pontificates back in. The best sound in the world is hearing the roar. Incoming air, man.
Greg Coker
It is a good one that Minigons.
Brent Tucker
I will tell you this.
Greg Coker
One of the best.
Brent Tucker
It's really more SS specific for me. But when you're in a Long valley clearing operation. You've been out there 2, 3, 4, 5 day, however long it was, and you just, you're just tired from, you know, pulling security all night, not getting a lot of sleep, you know, walking up and down this valley. And sometimes you have to go up into the mountains and do a BDA and come back. I mean, by the time you're done with that, you, you're just exhausted and the best sound in the world is incoming helos to come pick you up and take you back to bed. We're going home. Best sound in the world. Until he, until he said that, I, I haven't thought about what a sweet sound that is. As soon as you start hearing those helicopter blades in the distance going, yes, yes, it's, it's over. We live through another one.
Andy Stumpf
Yes, sir.
Drew Hansen
Says when a hammer is the only tool you have, everything starts to look like a nail. Can you have Bill Rapier on? I've heard he was a solid operator too.
Brent Tucker
Yeah, I need to, I need to get a hold of him and see if, and I can. I, I know I can get a hold of him and see if he's, if he's still doing interviews.
Drew Hansen
Mark S retired. Says Chief Coker is your train robbery story in the recorded episode.
Brent Tucker
Oh, my gosh, you got a train robbery. We didn't get that.
Greg Coker
No.
Drew Hansen
You got a story, though.
Brent Tucker
Is that a garage story?
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
Okay. All right, all right, maybe, maybe, maybe we'll save that one for Patreon. I gotta feel this one out and see what's up.
Drew Hansen
Record that one in the garage.
Brent Tucker
They know too much. I don't know where they get it. The, the, the, the, the audience, they know too much is why I love them.
Greg Coker
Yeah, they do.
Brent Tucker
Yeah, they do.
Greg Coker
Bless you. Giddy up, old son.
Drew Hansen
Brent, was there ever time the unit that you had to do something Big gay army, that you just shook your head and asked, why jrtc?
Brent Tucker
We did go to JRTC once, but we actually got pulled right back out. Didn't even really go. I'll tell you that story later. Big gay army. No, but I will, I will. Yes and no. You'll probably know this, but I don't think most people knew, knew this. When, when you're in squadron, you know, there's. We don't like outsiders in our squadron bay. It's. And I mean, if you're another operator, you can be in there. But strangers this, that. We're definitely not letting in the cleaning people. So who do you think's cleaning the latrines? We are Operators. The operators. I've. I've still mopped floors. The squadron bay needed mops.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
I've still clean latrines that had to get cleaned by someone. The downstairs, the upstairs, that is the cleaning duty is getting done. Different teams have different responsibilities and they rotate. There was one time I had like three sergeant majors and E8 and me and E7 on a team and we're cleaning the latrine and someone's like, we have got to be the highest ranking, highest paid cleaning army detail ever. And I'm like, yeah, yeah. That's crazy. Yeah. I can probably think of something. They're far and few between but that and there. But again, there's a reason why for that. But yeah.
Magnet
Dude.
Drew Hansen
Dude. Mop in a bathroom or a kitchen is the number one way to pull it back. Is the number one way to pull it back, dude.
Brent Tucker
Okay.
Drew Hansen
I don't know what it is with
Magnet
that or a taint if you're brand.
Brent Tucker
My tank was still strong then.
Matt Bissonnette
Yeah.
Drew Hansen
I stirred burning airborne homestead says Mr. Coker. Do the 100 first guys still whine about our special gate? And why do they call 1st Battalion the show? If you're not 4th, you're last in SDQ.
Greg Coker
That's a good one.
Brent Tucker
Yeah. And I love a little bit of information, inside information there. He says our special gate. Well, I feel like one of. One of the boys are watching.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
So do they still complain was.
Greg Coker
Oh, yeah.
Brent Tucker
Is there a little bit of animosity about your special gate?
Greg Coker
Yep, a lot of it.
Brent Tucker
Which is crazy. I think you guys deserve a special gate. Yeah, that's, you know, that's, that's.
Greg Coker
Oh, they're on the other side of the airfield.
Brent Tucker
Right. Do you know anything about first baton? Why do they call first power the show? If you're not. If, if you're not fourth, if you're not fourth, you're last.
Greg Coker
Well, first bats the, the, you know, we're the go group, so.
Brent Tucker
Okay.
Greg Coker
Two little bird companies, two blackhawk companies.
Drew Hansen
Alex Tucker said called you a moparator. That's pretty cool.
Greg Coker
I see a T shirt coming.
Brent Tucker
I'll tell you some funny stuff. We love you. We have some extra gear, you know, extra handrails, extra, you know, extra. Extra cool guy stuff for guns. One of the crews outfitted the mop handles with a bunch of gun
Greg Coker
put eotech on it rails. That's funny.
Brent Tucker
Oh, all right.
Drew Hansen
Last super chat.
Magnet
All right.
Drew Hansen
Patreon member here, Rob sucks. And Brent just got my conscript basic training date.
Brent Tucker
Oh, nice.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Drew Hansen
Years old. And followed your advice on living a life.
Andy Stumpf
No regrets.
Brent Tucker
I know exactly who you are. Yeah, Good for you.
Greg Coker
Good deal.
Brent Tucker
Good for you. Well, that's it. I was. I was afraid at the speed we got through the first one and the super chats, that tonight was going to be a long night. And it is 11:30. Pretty sure I told you this. We. We're not good at it. It's supposed to go from 8 to 10. It is 11.
Greg Coker
No way.
Brent Tucker
Going strong. Well, we got one more thing to do, which is play some music and get this thing demonetized. Sound, of course, Sound Garden is. Is gonna win it. And holy fook, with your. With your multiple. Multiple $10 entry of Queen's Reich, you. You would. You deserve that song as well. Just. Just based off of. Of your attempts.
Drew Hansen
Honorable mention.
Brent Tucker
This is also the part of the night, unless you sneak in a super chat on us, that we just hang out in the chat section and answer everything that goes up on that screen. Hey, guys, by the way, we have a bigger audience than the normal tonight. If. If everyone here doesn't already subscribe to the channel. I. I know it's. I hate asking, but it's true. Please subscribe to the channel. It does help hit like. Subscribe to the channel. And please continue to join us on Thursday nights and continue to grow this community. Let's go.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Drew Hansen
Because if you subscribe, you'll get notified when the next cool episode gets published.
Brent Tucker
That's right. That's right. In fact, you don't want to miss them. I feel like I'm gonna. I'm gonna lead. I'm gonna lead out with Queens, right? So that way, the. The big one is, you know, save the best for last if. If you will. And let's see if I can find this thing fast enough for you. If not, Drew, go ahead and. And talk about some regular chats real quick while I look into this.
Drew Hansen
You got it. Let's see here. We got T Bone says Brent had to eat hot dogs for July 4th. Yeah, that's for sure. And I had to eat apple pie. Dry apple pie. Airborne homestead back in says Mr. Coker, when are we seeing probe on Little Bird?
Greg Coker
Never.
Brent Tucker
I get it. I. Yeah, I see what you did there.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
Okay, that is. That is a good. It's not the only telling sign, but it's a good telling sign. You. You see a. You see a probe on a Blackhawk and. And even on a Chinook. Here we go. See if I don't believe in love Queen's how Moondog how about those beach flyovers? Best recruitment tactic. Makes you want to kick a door off his hinges.
Magnet
I love what Trump did with that one, too.
Brent Tucker
Yeah, let's see. Right there. Toker the green, Get TK on the pod and bury the hatchet. He seems like a good dude, just overzealous with stories. I believe you to be right, and I do hope that he comes on the podcast.
Greg Coker
Me, too.
Brent Tucker
And, and we can bear that hatchet. And, and I believe it make both of us better for it if we're being quite honest and introspective on that. Duckman, Florida is a hot dog sandwich. It is meat in between buns. And you can say, well, it's connected buns. Well, if you connected the bun, the end of the buns of a sandwich and still filled it, you would still call that a sandwich or a burger. Is a hot dog a sandwich? I have to know. Magnet, our resident expert expert on hot dog.
Magnet
It's a handheld sandwich, so, I mean, you motor with your hand.
Brent Tucker
Well, you just answered it.
Magnet
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
Okay. If Magnet says yes, who am I to argue with a man who has a hot dog roller machine at his house?
Magnet
Get to this one this time.
Brent Tucker
I don't know why he said it. Braden Medlin, but everybody wants to be a bodybuilder. But ain't nobody wants to lift no heavy ass weight. One of my. I, I, I used to drop those 100 pound dumbbells in the gym overseas and yell that almost daily. Almost.
Magnet
You just pick it up and you let it down.
Brent Tucker
You can actually lift. And with, and with the random lightweight, about six or seven times a workout. Let's see. T bone, Mr. Coker. Why do you, oh, why do you let, like, the tiers below tier one? And why is Brent a prima donna? Why do you let like. Oh, I wish I knew what even.
Drew Hansen
Why do you just like the tiers below tier one?
Brent Tucker
Why do you like the tiers below tier one?
Magnet
I don't know.
Greg Coker
I don't know.
Magnet
It's.
Brent Tucker
He'll get, he'll get back to it. Yeah, yeah.
Greg Coker
Please. Well, we only work with tier one, right?
Brent Tucker
Yeah. Let's see here. Dwight, Ozzy, if you get TK or Robbo on the podcast, can you do it as, dang it, as, as Chris Hansen style interview? You get it? The Chris Hansen style interview. The Catch a Predator where you get him to come into a random room where they just kind of pop out. Oh, that would be dirty. That'd be hilarious. Yeah, yeah. Let's see here. Qualified PI. I'm gonna Go clean my Walther while y' all rub your glocks like a teenager with a hustler.
Andy Stumpf
Okay.
Brent Tucker
Airborne homestead. Mr. Coker, you came and spoke and talked to my EGP class 2014 while I was in the pit. Hit after being sugar cookied and told to walk like a crab. Night soccer. Don't quit.
Greg Coker
That's cool.
Brent Tucker
There you go.
Greg Coker
I'll be darn. That's a long time ago.
Brent Tucker
Let's see. Nothing but a peanut. Yeah, buddy. Kelanon compliant. What do you think of Trump's announcement? Long overdue. Why did, why did it take Trump? And you can hate Trump all you want and sometimes he gives the opposition and even the good side reasons to not like him. I'm not a blind Trumpster, but he does things like this and I don't understand why anyone is, is in opposition to it. He's trying to stop fraudulent elections.
Greg Coker
Yes.
Brent Tucker
Why did it take Trump coming to power to do something about that 50 years? That's, that's what's crazy to me. That should be, that shouldn't be a political side. That's one of those things that both sides should come together. It's for the better of America.
Matt Bissonnette
So.
Brent Tucker
But it's one of those things just because Trump's for it, a lot of people are going to be against it and that's that I cannot and will not get behind. All right, we got a sound garden song coming up to finish up the night.
Magnet
People should be mad. You're going and voting and they're not counting your vote.
Drew Hansen
Well, that's because everybody fell in love with the Obama era. Those that love the Obama era and they wanted more of the Obama era and when they didn't get it.
Brent Tucker
I don't know if I've heard this song, so I'm interested in this one. Let's get back to it. Yeah. Secure elections should be the most non controversial thing in the world. Alex Tuckerson, you are right. Billy Benoy 647 I5IT 4 years till Rob O' Neill goes broke and ends up as the night manager at Dairy Queen. Oh, no. I'd prefer him just, just do the. What Tim Kennedy is hopefully on the road to doing. And that's just admit your faults, say you're sorry and go move on and do great things because he has done great things in his career. Yes, he has it in him.
Greg Coker
He does.
Brent Tucker
Here's again, we're here to ask the questions that need to be asked. Mr. Coker from Fish on Probation. Mr. Coker, what's your Go to ice cream. I'm a fish food kind of guy. You got a go to ice cream, man.
Greg Coker
Blue bell.
Brent Tucker
What flavor?
Greg Coker
Vanilla.
Brent Tucker
You just. You just. Vanilla. You ever put chocolate syrup on it or just. Just the way it is? Straight, simple man. Just a Leonard Skynyrd. Simple man. Ain't nothing wrong with that. No, Ain't nothing wrong with that. When I was in SF and we'd get back from Iraq during the surge, the heyday of of IEDs, especially in the SUNY triangle, where we were. We were a dive team, really into fitness. But every time we got back from a ground convoy, we'd go straight to the chow hall and get a little ice cream bar. And we called it still got our Legs ice cream. And so we'd always celebrate that we still got our legs.
Greg Coker
Still got our leg.
Brent Tucker
And we're going to. And have a little bit. You deserve that. Have a little ice cream. And every now and again, something from.
Greg Coker
You guys would go out the gate with tourniquets already on.
Brent Tucker
I. I've seen it, and I'll tell you that I saw another team do that. Do you want to talk about, like, the reality of, of, like, the situation you're in when you see guys doing that? You're like, that's actually. That's actually pretty smart. I should. I should probably do that. I didn't. But it was, but it was. It was a good idea.
Greg Coker
Yes, sir. Was.
Brent Tucker
I'll ask it anyway. Airborne homestead. Mr. Coker, any static line jumps out of a little bird.
Greg Coker
Yes.
Brent Tucker
A static line?
Greg Coker
No.
Brent Tucker
Okay. No, no, no. I've. I've.
Magnet
I've.
Greg Coker
I didn't think for a second.
Brent Tucker
Okay, I've done some MFF jumps out of Little Bird.
Greg Coker
Yeah. Go to 10K.
Brent Tucker
Yeah. Quick Little elevators up there. Jump out. And because you're not moving very fast, it's very different for us because normally we're used to, like, jumping, hitting the wall of, of air moving at you, getting flat real quick. But if you don't have enough forward momentum, you. You don't have enough air to stabilize. So you're kind of waffling, unable to, to manipulate the air.
Greg Coker
Okay.
Brent Tucker
Until you start getting to a. A certain velocity, and then you can get stable. So it's really weird jumping out of a little bird because if you start going a certain direction, nothing you can do about it for a little bit here. Rack Shadow. How you doing, brother? Another Patreon member. Any auto rotations, Mr. Coker?
Brian Callan
Any auto.
Greg Coker
Yes, hundreds.
Brent Tucker
But any real world one that counted,
Greg Coker
you know, it's like, oh, man, it was.
Brent Tucker
And that was the one that you talked about in the recording, correct?
Brian Callan
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
Did you auto rotate on that one? Yeah, yeah, yeah. So that you'll. You'll get. You'll get to hear that story on the recording. But. And there's a reason why you do. You do them hundred hundreds of times in training, so when you need it the most, you knew exactly what to do.
Greg Coker
Yes, sir.
Brent Tucker
Yeah. Love that.
Magnet
Yep.
Brian Callan
Okay.
Brent Tucker
I don't know what Dustin Higby said about that, but. Okay. Eclectic. Carbon Mw4L. Is Chuck Norris really at the compound? Well, he's not with us anymore anymore, so I don't think he was buried at the compound. But he did. He did come visit once while I was there.
Matt Bissonnette
That was.
Brent Tucker
That was super cool.
Greg Coker
Heard about that Tiger Woods.
Brian Callan
He came.
Brent Tucker
Let's see. Oh, Whiskey T Fox. Why would you. That's a lot. He definitely has his own opinions. Nate has his own opinions. I don't agree with some of Nate's opinions, but I don't know if I'd go as far as calling Nate a. A fraud. Moondog said. Watched auto rotations for flight currency in Kuwait. Wild to see.
Greg Coker
Yeah. Yeah. We're the only unit in the army that does them all the way to the ground, too.
Brent Tucker
Oh, really?
Magnet
Yeah.
Greg Coker
Big army. You don't.
Brent Tucker
Oh, no, you just start it, but you don't finish.
Greg Coker
Put the engines back up. Yeah,
Brent Tucker
it was a. I was in the unit for a couple years. I think it was Little Birds. I could be wrong, maybe Blackhawks, but I think it was. I'm almost positive, as Little Birds. We had a. A training mission we were doing, and we were going into this target that was. And where we wanted to land had a bunch of smaller pine trees in the middle of some bigger pine trees, and there were no open areas to land. And so as I'm looking down there on the pod, I'm saying, well, I don't know we're going to go, but this is going to be a go around.
Drew Hansen
It was, I know where you're going.
Brent Tucker
It was not a go round. And we landed chopping up trees all the way down. And I hadn't seen that. And I was like, what are we doing? Again, not. I'm just a passenger. I don't know a whole lot. Didn't feel comfortable to me. But, hey, he did it. I had some questions later, and I was like, well, what was it about? He goes, ah, they're just saplings. He's like, I don't remember the. The dimension he told me it was like, if they did six or eight inches around, I don't really care. We'll just.
Magnet
They.
Brent Tucker
They're. They're nothing to the place. Yeah.
Greg Coker
And that's why we still have metal blades on little birds. Every other helicopter has composite.
Brent Tucker
Okay.
Greg Coker
But we kept the metal blade so we could chop.
Brent Tucker
Yeah. Okay. There it is. Yeah. And it was wild being. Being on that ride. Of course, there's pine needles going everywhere. Pine needles hit you in the face. You're trying to pull your feet up because you're just right. You're just riding down like this. All. All these trees. And he's like, that's where you wanted to be. I'm gonna put you in there whether there are trees there or not. This is what you asked for.
Greg Coker
And.
Brent Tucker
And it was a surprise to me, but another reason. I don't believe anyone else was gonna do that. But the 1/60 will put you anywhere you want, whenever you want to be put there, plus minus 30 seconds. Oh, Greg, you can come back anytime, brother. Anytime you're in Florida. If you. If you don't come hang out with the podcast, I'll be offended. That is the. That is the end of our quick show. We're going around the horn for Last Word Magnet. What do you got?
Magnet

Brent Tucker
Do it, do it, do it, do it. Drew, what do you got? Have you had this on the whole show?
Drew Hansen
No, just because I can't. Because I can't read with them on.
Brent Tucker
Just can't read with them.
Drew Hansen
All right, so, hey, guys, I'm only a few hundred hours away from being monetized with Truth in the Dark, so I can get some support there. So what I need you guys to do is go to Truth in the Dark tonight, put your phone on silent, charge it, start an episode, and go to sleep. You don't even have to watch it, man. So I just. That. That'll help me out.
Brent Tucker
But we'll put it out on Patreon, too. We're gonna get you there this week. Patreon, you guys know, just.
Drew Hansen
Just let it play while you sleep. Seven o' clock Eastern time. We got live Sunday night, Bible studies, and then go to frcc, Shop for coffee, cigars, bourbon. You'll be glad you did.
Brent Tucker
All right.
Drew Hansen
Appreciate you guys.
Brian Callan
God bless.
Greg Coker
Yeah. All right. Thanks, bro.
Brent Tucker
Greg, you are the guest of honor and get the actual last word. What do you got, brother?
Greg Coker
Never quit.
Brent Tucker
Isn't that the truth? It's that simple.
Greg Coker
Yeah.
Brent Tucker
Never quit.
Greg Coker
Never quit.
Brent Tucker
It's been an absolute honor having you on the show. The recorded. Yes, the recorder was almost as fun as this. Of course, nothing can be as fun as as the live show, so I got to have two really fun episodes with you.
Greg Coker
Awesome.
Brent Tucker
Thank you so much, guys. We will see you next Thursday night for another live show, and I hope you had a good time and it makes you want to come back for more next Thursday. Thank you, guys. See you Patriots in a week.

This episode is a high-intensity, candid exploration of two major controversies in the special operations community:
The discussion weaves in camaraderie among elite veterans, the necessity for integrity, and the toll of public scrutiny, all while keeping the conversation grounded, unapologetic, and laced with irreverent SOF humor.
00:06 – 05:47
06:09 – 10:28
“This is happening because of their actions... When they chose to tell a lie about their service and when that lie gets called out... am I to blame for that or are they to blame?”
— Brent Tucker [07:09]
35:49 – 97:39
35:49 – 43:09
“If my company deploys me to Belgium to work with the Belgian special operations unit, is that a deployment? Well... that’s a deployment. But... when you say ‘deployments’ ...the context was about combat experience—not just any travel.”
— Brent Tucker [37:56]
47:02 – 52:35
“If you do a couple things, you go, ‘I’m going to push here, I’m going to exaggerate, I’m going to lie, I’m going to embellish, I’m going to tell a fish story...’ You can’t get away with that. You’re gonna pay for that with interest...”
— Brian Callan [92:20]
“He starts out strong with taking accountability... but then he falls short. He loses it again.”
— Brent Tucker [70:27]
99:44 – 127:47
“I don’t think there’s anything good that can come from that... it’s not a body camera issue; it’s an integrity issue.”
— Brent Tucker [123:59]
127:47 – 179:05 (main narrative)
Host’s Verdict:
“Everything Matt says is how we do business—that checks out. Nothing Rob is saying checks out with the way we do business... The other story has so many holes and questions.” [160:27]
“Tim has made some great strides towards becoming a better man... If he continues this, if he were to come on my show and be honest, I won’t make him grovel. The bigger thing would be for him to move forward a better man doing great things.”
— Brent Tucker [96:59]
“At the end of the day you are a representation of a tier one unit... You wear that for the rest of your life.”
— Brent Tucker [178:48]
“The amount of respect and camaraderie there from what generations before us did... It’s just something special.”
— Brent Tucker [04:54]
“Never quit.”
— Greg Coker [225:32]
Tim Kennedy’s ‘Fish Stories’ Admission [47:22]:
“All right. 100.” (Tim’s open admission that his stories were indeed ‘embellished—lies.’)
Brian Callan’s Sharp Mediation and Accountability [92:20]: “You do everything you can...then you do a couple things, you go, ‘I’m going to exaggerate, I’m going to lie, I’m going to embellish, I’m going to tell a fish story...’ You can’t get away with that. You’re gonna pay for that with interest... What matters more is who you are after this.”
Bissonnette vs. O’Neill Bin Laden Narrative [134:23+, 156:00+]:
Brent on Team Integrity:
“If you apologize about this, if you admit that you lied and you change your ways, I’ll be the first one to welcome you back in the fold.”
— Brent Tucker [96:59]
“Never quit.”
— Greg Coker [225:32]
For special operations professionals, military enthusiasts, and the wider veteran community, this episode stands as a masterclass in accountability, candor, and the ongoing fight for the truth behind the legends.
