Hey, what's up to the point? Home services, VIPs. You know, I'm usually a pretty chipper guy, as you know, but unfortunately, I have some pretty shitty news to, to share and I wanted to share it with everybody. And that is. A few weeks ago, I found out that I got diagnosed with throat cancer, so. Which is not ideal when you're a podcaster and you have to talk a bit to be more specific. It's called squamous cell carcinoma. So not ideal. It's, you know, it's scary. It's all the things that you, you think when you hear the word cancer. But the good news is, is it appears that this is a very beatable version of cancer. It's going to require radiation, chemotherapy, like all the things that you, you hear. My kids want to know if I'm going to be losing my hair. Well, I don't think I am. There's still a lot of unknowns right now, and as far as I'm concerned, I'm gonna continue to work out every day. You know, I gotta eat a specific amount of protein every day, try and keep my, my health up. That's important. Thankfully, I'm the most healthiest I've ever been. So, like, in a shitty situation, at least I'm physically ready to prepare for battle. Most of you guys know me, I'm not a quitter, so I'm gonna fight with everything I got to beat this thing. But again, like, it could be worse. It could be a way worse version of cancer that maybe is not untreatable. So I just was at an ENT appointment this morning for a follow up and asking them, how long is this process going to take? I guess it's roughly six to eight weeks of radiation every single day and chemotherapy sprinkled throughout. And they said, yeah, your, your throat's, your throat's gonna hurt. So my plan is, is just hopefully they give me some good pain medication and I'll be doing some of these podcasts on pain medication, so we'll see how that goes. But, you know, the best plan here is just to be optimistic, right? Like, it's a shitty situation, but it's a beatable situation. And I've always lived my life kind of on the record and been open and transparent. And I felt like, you know, do I want to share this or not share this? It's going to be, you know, it's going to be pretty easy for you to see that I'm battling something. So I thought, like, let's just open it up and let everybody know. I mean, we've been on this journey for six years so far, so this is just another chapter in the book of Cristiano. And thankfully I got two great co hosts. So for whatever reason, like, I can't make an episode because my, my throat's in bad shape. Well, then I've got, you know, chatty P&AG to help carry us through. And I'll tell you what, man, some of the best things that I love hearing in these situations are, is, you know, I love hearing from, from our listeners. That's super uplifting. But it's just a moment, right? It's a moment and I'm gonna get through this, no problem. And I'll tell you what, like I said, it's. I gotta, I got a long, I got a lot of stuff I want to accomplish still on this podcast and things I want to do with it and scale it and grow it to help all the contractors and I'll be damned from a little cancer come in trying to that up. I'm not. So anyhow, just wanted to share with you guys. Like I said, not the most uplifting conversation, but again, the good news is, yes, I have cancer. It's in my throat, which is not ideal, but it's a very treatable version of cancer that has a high percentage win rate. We're talking in the 70%, you know, to make it five years, which is when you are technically in remission. So if you've ever dealt with it, you kind of know. I know that Chad has dealt with that with his mom and his family, but I have all the best support in the world. You know, I'm getting the best doctors I can get to make sure I'm good to go. That way I can be here for you guys non stop. So don't let this bring you down because I'm not letting it bring me down. Just join me in the, in the fight with words of encouragement. Continue to listen to podcasts and share it with all your friends and help their businesses scale. It's the best thing you can do for me. So it is what it is, but we'll live to fight another day. And that's all I can ask for. So I appreciate all you VIPs. See ya.
