What's going on, everybody? Welcome back to the Travis Makes Money podcast where it's a mission to help you make more money on this episode of the show. My producer, Eric is in studio. What's up, Eric?
Travis Chappell
Please kill me.
Eric (Producer)
Wait, why?
Travis Chappell
I've been in here recording for hours.
Eric (Producer)
We haven't been.
Travis Chappell
We have been recording for hours, actually.
Eric (Producer)
Hour maybe, actually.
Travis Chappell
And you served me a lukewarm Coke.
Eric (Producer)
That was your decision.
Travis Chappell
Hey, you want a warm Coke?
Eric (Producer)
That was the opposite of what I asked.
Travis Chappell
Actually, you actually said, I'm concerned. That's going to be warm. Yeah, and it's empty and I haven't got a refill. Thanks. Because you keep making me record one after another. So anyway, anyway, I was going to break out into a cheer. 1, 2, 3, 4.
Eric (Producer)
Yeah. Why?
Travis Chappell
Because I've been watching Bring It On.
Eric (Producer)
You've been watching the movie Bring It On.
Travis Chappell
The series. The series I watched Bring It On I watched. So three nights ago I watched Bring It On. Two nights ago I watched Bring it on again. And last night I watched Bring It on all or nothing.
Eric (Producer)
That's pretty wild. It's pretty. You know what? You know what grinds my gears is that you're gonna watch re. Watch through.
Travis Chappell
I've never watched them before. It's a first time watch. And there's seven movies.
Eric (Producer)
There's seven movies.
Travis Chappell
So I've got four more to go. The last one's a slasher movie too.
Eric (Producer)
But you refuse to watch the boys.
Travis Chappell
That's not the same thing. So anyway, so who. Okay, so here's what I'll tell you. So the reason that Bring it on came on my radar is because I interviewed Bethany Joy Lentz from One Tree Hill, and Tara was like, she looks familiar. And I looked her up, and I was like, oh, she was in Bring it on again. She's the only good thing about that movie, I'm gonna be completely honest with you. But she's so good in it. And Tara was like, it's weird when you watch a movie and you're like, oh, that's why that person became a star. And you haven't heard from these other people.
Eric (Producer)
I would have not known any of that because I've never seen Bring It On.
Travis Chappell
And then the other reason she brought it up was something else, but I don't remember. But anyway, so we were like, let's watch Bring It On. Let's make that the next thing we do. But what was crazy is, what's your first celebrity crush as a kid?
Eric (Producer)
Probably the Olsen twins. Ashley Olsen, specifically. I don't know why they're. They're twins, but I don't know why I like Ashley Olsen better. Or Hillary Duff. I think those. Those are the first names that pop up in my head.
Travis Chappell
Agent Cody Banks.
Eric (Producer)
That was a great film.
Travis Chappell
Yeah, it was. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, yeah.
Eric (Producer)
It was a little Lizzie McGuire action.
Travis Chappell
Yeah. So my first celebrity crush ever as a kid was Kristen Dunson's Spider Man. And I think it's a reason I'm, like, broken for redheads now.
Eric (Producer)
I'm pretty sure Kirsten Dunst.
Travis Chappell
But you know Kirsten Dunst. Sure. But is it.
Eric (Producer)
She's also in Bring It On.
Travis Chappell
Is it Kirsten Dunst?
Eric (Producer)
Kirsten K I R?
Travis Chappell
Not K I R. I'm so sorry, Kirsten. If you're watching anyway, I. I'd be
Eric (Producer)
wild if she was watching.
Travis Chappell
She's like, I was watching. You said Kristen Dunst. Kirsten Dunst. It is Kirsten. You're right. So anyway, I always, always had a big crush on her. And then my other teenage crush was Eliza Dushku from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She played Faith. And that's where I fell in love with mean brunettes. I told my wife, you're welcome. This paved the way for you. And then I also always loved Gabrielle Union in Bad Boys ii. And guess who's in Bring It On. No, literally, like, every scene it was like, oh, Kirsten Dunst. Yes. Eliza Dushku. Yes. Who's their rival? Gabrielle Union from Bad Boys 2. And so it was great. And it's actually a really good movie. It's directed. No, it's directed by the same guy that did Ant man and yes Man.
Eric (Producer)
Okay.
Travis Chappell
He did two man movies. What's next? Ant Man. Yes Man. Give this man Batman. I don't know. I don't know.
Eric (Producer)
Good one.
Travis Chappell
I don't know.
Eric (Producer)
We'll try that out.
Caleb Hammer
I don't know.
Travis Chappell
Yeah. Hey, Peyton Reed. He directed Ant Man. He directed yes Man. What other man can we tackle there, Peyton? So anyway, so he did Bring it on and I enjoyed it.
Eric (Producer)
Good for you.
Travis Chappell
I just totally blanked on how I'm segueing into the why you brought all of this up. Anyway, so. Yeah, so anyway, so I watched Bring it on and then I watched Bring it on again, which was not good, except Save Bethany Joylands. But then we get to the third Bring it on and I'm like, as you do. And I'm like, you know, I used to watch the show Heroes when it first came out. I don't remember when that was.
Eric (Producer)
Hayden Panettiere.
Travis Chappell
Yep. And you know what? Had a. You know who I had a crush on that show?
Eric (Producer)
Hayden Panettiere.
Travis Chappell
Yep. And guess who's the star of Bringing It On. All or nothing.
Eric (Producer)
Hayden Panettiere.
Travis Chappell
Yes. And I was like, what's going on? So. But then we finished the movie. None of the cast carries over in any of the movies. They're all standalone. And I. I was like, we're officially out of all of them. So we moved through. So now it's like the last four.
Eric (Producer)
That's crazy. There's seven Bring It Ons and the
Travis Chappell
last one's a slasher movie, which I'm very excited about.
State Farm Announcer
How?
Travis Chappell
I mean, at seven movies, you just start doing stuff, you know. So anyway, all that to say. I've been watching Bring it on and that has nothing to do with anything we're talking about on the episode.
Eric (Producer)
They were just doing the cheers at the beginning.
Travis Chappell
I know, it is funny. No. One of my favorite lines in the movie, I keep saying it every day, is, this isn't a democracy, it's a chirocracy. And I've said that a couple times. I like things that have utility in day to day conversation.
Eric (Producer)
Yeah, that would come up often.
Travis Chappell
I've said it three times. I'll just be at one thing to say, bae, this isn't a cheerograph democracy, this is a chirocracy. The craziest thing, the other crazy thing is that the movies are both very progressive for their time, like 2000s and on. But also still incredibly homophobic and racist in like the way that early 2000s movies are the only.
Eric (Producer)
Whenever I thought when Somebody used to say bring it on. I used to think it was this other movie that was about Step Up.
Travis Chappell
No, I thought they were the same thing. Is that Cheyenne Tatum?
Eric (Producer)
That is Channing Tatum.
Travis Chappell
You would know.
Eric (Producer)
Fired up. Did you ever watch that one? It's like a cheer thing, but the two guys go to cheer camp.
Travis Chappell
I just added that to my watch list on letterbox.
Eric (Producer)
That one's actually. That was actually pretty cool.
Travis Chappell
Did you ever watch man of the House with Tommy Lee Jones?
Eric (Producer)
No.
Travis Chappell
Okay. Anyway, so they're very progressive, but they're also very, very racist and weird in ways, but also very not.
Eric (Producer)
Yeah, yeah.
Travis Chappell
It's like, very ill. It's very well intentioned. But, like, like, Hayden Pantiere is like, has to go to this, like, all. Basically all black high school, and she ends up dancing with them. And she's like. She's like. Like, one of the lines in the movie is like, if we add some crumping to the routine, that'll get the attention of Rihanna. And I was like, that's a crazy sentence for her to be saying in this movie. And then also, like, obviously, like, the villain of the movie is, like, very racist, but she's being so racist in front of Rihanna. And Rihanna's like, you lose the competition. Some of the best artists are from the ghetto. And I was like, yeah, sister. And then the first movie is like, one of the cheerleaders is gay, and the movie doesn't frown on that. But then the characters also, like, drop the f. Slur. And she's like, so you're saying you speak? She's like, you speak and then says the word. And he's like, oh, fluently. But it's like he says it as like, yeah, I am. It was very weird, but I was like. I was like, so, so close. We're so close here.
Eric (Producer)
I love that we're still talking about this even though it has nothing to do with it.
Travis Chappell
So anyway, so I want to talk about the financial success of the Bring it on franchise. You know what, Travis? You wouldn't, like, bring it on. You wouldn't, like, bring it on.
Eric (Producer)
You're right.
Travis Chappell
You know why you wouldn't, like, bring it On? Because you're a boomer. And you know who doesn't care for boomers? Caleb Hammer. And he talked about it on the Joe Rogan Experience. And so we're gonna watch the clip, and if that's not the best segue I've ever done in the history of the show, I don't know what is.
Eric (Producer)
That's some ninja segue work. Well, let's hear it then.
Travis Chappell
Okay, I am going to.
Eric (Producer)
Fine.
Travis Chappell
Okay, let me pull it up. About time, young Jamie. Pull that up.
Eric (Producer)
I wish you would pull that up.

Jamie's busy. He's watching Bring it On. Okay, you know what? I don't like how and honestly the okay. But I will say honestly, can I give your honest feedback on this? You should watch the first Bring it on because it is really good.
Eric (Producer)
But I don't want to do that.
Travis Chappell
It's really good.
Eric (Producer)
Jackie would watch it.
Travis Chappell
Okay, then watch it with her.
Eric (Producer)
She'll watch it and then I'll watch something else.
Travis Chappell
The first Bring it On is really good. I'm being serious.
Eric (Producer)
I'm glad we got that out of the way.
Travis Chappell
Okay. All right, here. I'm gonna go back here a little bit, but you don't need to watch 2 and then 3. If you loved the first bring it on like I did the first bring it on. I gave 4 stars on Letterboxd. 4 stars. I watched the Great Escape, the classic movie with Steve McQueen. That was a three and a half for me.
Eric (Producer)
Wow.
Travis Chappell
And I felt guilty back to back seeing those ratings in my letterbox. I wanted to just move on. But Bring it on is a solid 4 out of 5.
Eric (Producer)
Wow.
Travis Chappell
Bring it on again is a half star. I gave it a half star. It's a terrible movie. One of the worst drop offs from the first movie to a sequel ever. The third movie is a solid three and a half. It doesn't quite capture the magic of the first, but it's really fun it's really good. Okay.
State Farm Announcer
Oh, my God.
Travis Chappell
Okay.
Eric (Producer)
Thank you. Yeah.
Travis Chappell
Anyway, so Caleb Hammer was on the Joe Rogan Experience. I wish I had something to talk about bringing on. Okay, so here's him talking about Boomers, which you like. You. Here you go. You ready?
Eric (Producer)
No, no.
Travis Chappell
We've got 10 minutes.
Eric (Producer)
Why don't we keep talking about bring it on for a few more minutes?
Travis Chappell
The thing is, I could.
Eric (Producer)
I know you could.
Travis Chappell
Because I really enjoyed. Yeah, yeah, I really enjoyed.
Eric (Producer)
I was just kidding.
Travis Chappell
The first.
Eric (Producer)
Let's not do that.
Travis Chappell
And it does make sense. The thing is, what's crazy is Kirsten Dunst did the first movie and then the next year did Spider Man. So it's clear why they didn't bring her back for the sequel. But the sequels in college, they could have had a natural progression of Kirsten Dunst, Eliza Dushku and Gabrielle Union going to their college years.
Eric (Producer)
Totally.
Travis Chappell
But they had to recap and it just feels like a bummer.
Eric (Producer)
I wish.
Travis Chappell
But I'm glad we had Spider man, right?
Eric (Producer)
I wish. Right.
Travis Chappell
All right. Anyway, here's Caleb Hammer talking here.
Caleb Hammer
That's right now because, I mean, it makes sense. You get out of college, you want to get an apartment. So the student loan, a public student loan is actually a 10 year payment. That's the standard. It's a 10 year payment. You'll be done in 10, but people stretch it to 20 years. The repayment assistance under trump the wrap plan. That can be.
Travis Chappell
That's how Hayden Pantier helped the school is they added a rap plan they didn't actually wrap. They did do some crumping, though. I'll show you a scene later.
Caleb Hammer
Percent of your income on a monthly basis that'll never be paid off now. Those people will have it forever.
Eric (Producer)
Forever.
Caleb Hammer
It'll be forgiven and force it says, we'll see. Because you know, it's new. Well, when people are doing that, they're going to have it forever. It's going to balloon and then they're going to complain about it. When they chose not to just take the standard 10 year plan.
Travis Chappell
I saw an article about people with Social Security. So they're, they're retired and their money, their Social Security money is getting docked.
State Farm Announcer
Docked.
Travis Chappell
It's getting docked because they're taking money out of that to pay for your student loans.
Caleb Hammer
Yeah. I mean, that obviously didn't work out
Travis Chappell
for you because you're literally in debt from that student loan while you're retired from life.
Caleb Hammer
Yeah.
Travis Chappell
Which is wild.
Caleb Hammer
It is. But I'll be candid. I'M starting to not have sympathy for the boomers.
Travis Chappell
Does that hurt you? Does that cut you deep? He doesn't have sympathy for people like you.
Eric (Producer)
Yeah. For the audience's clarification here, I'm not a boomer.
Travis Chappell
You're the oldest boomer.
Eric (Producer)
Eric and I are two and a half years apart.
Travis Chappell
Listen up, candy ass. You're a boomer.
Eric (Producer)
We're like this.
Travis Chappell
That's a crazy thing. For that people call people back in the day candy ass. Because first of all, that sounds great. If I had a can, I'll push
Eric (Producer)
back on that a little bit. Yeah.
Travis Chappell
Hey, guys, it's me, old candy ass. I don't know.
Eric (Producer)
Okay. I could see that.
Travis Chappell
I don't know. It just feels like we should reclaim that.
Eric (Producer)
Yeah, totally.
Travis Chappell
Phrase.
Eric (Producer)
Yeah. You sound like a boomer now.
Travis Chappell
Okay. You can't say anything anymore anyway. Here we go.
Caleb Hammer
Probably not really. Best job market ever. Best stock market in the history of the world. Every single boomer, Gen X, whatever that's been on my show. They lived it up and spent all their money to live the lifestyle they wanted. And they didn't even set 10% aside a month. 10% aside. They had the best housing market, college jobs. They were set up for everything. If they just put 5 to 10% a month aside in the stock market that they had, that they had, they would be. They would be multimillionaires. Most of them would be multimillionaires. But instead we're in a situation where I want a new BMW. Yeah. Can't pay their student loans. Social Security, 2033. That's when the funds dry. So payments get cut by 25%. Yeah.
Travis Chappell
2033 is when the funds dry up for Social Security.
Caleb Hammer
Yeah. The actual fund that's sitting there so every dollar goes out is money that's coming in.
Travis Chappell
So what do you think of. Of Caleb Hammer saying, I have no sympathy for these lazy, good for nothing boomers. What do you think about that? I mean, what a monster, right?
Eric (Producer)
I. I mean, I have sympathy for anybody who's in a bad situation, but I.
Travis Chappell
And that's why. And that's why you've had George Camel on the show and not this guy going out there spouting off.
Eric (Producer)
Well, no, I would, I would have Caleb.
Travis Chappell
You don't want to talk to Caleb Hammer. You don't even want to give him the time of day?
Eric (Producer)
No.
Travis Chappell
You and George Camel know we don'. Eat that garbage.
Eric (Producer)
No, to clarify, I would, I would definitely have him on the show. I think he does good work.
Travis Chappell
Would You. When he comes on the show, can you say, it's Hammer time?
Eric (Producer)
I suppose.
Travis Chappell
Or the title episode could be Travis Chappell gets hammered by Caleb just so
Eric (Producer)
you can say that one line.
Travis Chappell
That would be fun if. Almost like the key and Peel Anger Translator. If you could bring me to interviews and I could ask, like, the questions that would make someone walk off. Like, you just, like, get out of here.
Eric (Producer)
Yeah, yeah.
Travis Chappell
But then if they answer, it's great.
Eric (Producer)
Sure.
Travis Chappell
Like, I could be like, it's.
Eric (Producer)
I can get. I can get mad at you for asking.
Travis Chappell
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So, like, Caleb Hammer comes on and go like, it's Hammer time. He's like, shut up, dude. And he'd be like, I don't know why I did that.
Eric (Producer)
Pile on with him.
Travis Chappell
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Or if I say, travis, you ready to get hammered by the Caleb, I'm the wrestler from Spider Man 1 full circle. That's called the callback. That's how you do it in the biz. I don't know what biz, but I
Eric (Producer)
don't know what biz.
Travis Chappell
Anyway, so what do you think about that?
Eric (Producer)
But I do tend to agree with the idea that especially now, things are still even set up to this day for that generation. And again, it was what I appreciate about what Scott Galloway talks about all the time. He's basically saying that these are all the people who are in Congress, all the lawmakers are in this generation, and it's basically them moving money away from younger generations to increase the wealth of the older generations.
Travis Chappell
Can I say.
Eric (Producer)
And then blame the younger generation and say, like, oh, you're just lazy or ineffective or you're not a man or whatever. And it's just like, yeah, it's really easy to point the finger when you're in this cushy, cushy position that, like, Caleb was saying. A lot of those things are accurate.
Travis Chappell
Yeah.
Eric (Producer)
You know, best housing market, best job
Travis Chappell
market, and you squandered your opportunities.
Eric (Producer)
Yeah. But to be fair, there's going to be a bunch of millennials who are also in that position.
Travis Chappell
Yeah.
Eric (Producer)
Like, it's human nature to squander.
Travis Chappell
Can I, Can I say something?
Eric (Producer)
Sure.
Travis Chappell
Permission to speak freely, sir?
Eric (Producer)
As long as it's not about, bring it on, don't do it. Don't think about a way to wrap it into it.
Travis Chappell
Just say, I wasn't going to. But my favorite. More favorite meme. My favorite meme format is when someone shows, like, a really old person and they go, like, get them into Congress quick. That's My favorite joke ever. It's kind of like in. Bring it On. I'm just kidding. Honestly. Great movie. But anyway, so go ahead, continue with what you're saying.
Eric (Producer)
But I. Yeah, so I tend to agree with that to a certain extent just because of that. I just hate the finger pointing and the blaming in the. Every generation. Every generation does it. Every generation's worried about the next generation and, like, they're not going to be able to figure it out and the world is going to end with them and they're just lazy and entitled and don't. It's just like, okay, well, again, my thing is that all of these are nuanced conversations. Two things can be true.
State Farm Announcer
This episode is brought to you by State Farm. Having insurance isn't the same as having State Farm. It's like thinking your crush messaged you back, but it's just your roommate asking for rent. You wouldn't settle for a disappointing dm, so don't settle for just any insurance. When it comes to getting the help you need, State Farm is a real deal. Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there. This summer. Serve up the cookout classics. Oscar Mayer hot dogs and Heinz mustard. Grill up a dog, add classic yellow mustard or loaded Chicago style. We all know it's not a cookout without Oscar Mayer and Heinz at the same time.
Eric (Producer)
And you just were. Whatever generation you're in, you just have to take advantage of whatever opportunities are afforded to you. What's that?
Travis Chappell
Whose complaints do you think are more valid? And you have to pick one. Like, whose complaining annoys you more? Okay. And you have to pick one. No, no, no. Wait, don't answer yet. Who's complaining annoys you more? Boomers complaining about young people or young people complaining about boomers?
Eric (Producer)
Boomers complaining about young people.
Travis Chappell
It's nice that you speak out against your own people. Even when it's hard, you know that you speak the truth. Even when.
Eric (Producer)
But I'm not a boomer. Well, I don't like that you do this because you have more characteristics of a boomer than I do.
Travis Chappell
Oh, my shirt.
Eric (Producer)
Oh, all of your movie watches.
Travis Chappell
Because I'm watching seven episodes. Seven movie. Bringing on movies.
Eric (Producer)
I bought a DVD collector from, like, 1933.
Travis Chappell
Buster Keaton's one of the greatest directors.
Eric (Producer)
That's what I'm saying. You're way more boomer coated than that. Anyway, it does annoy me more when. But also, that could just be because I'm a millennial and I'm in the crowd that they're complaining about. But I Also just don't see any of the characteristics that they claim.
Travis Chappell
Yeah.
Eric (Producer)
Like, all the people that I know.
Travis Chappell
Well, it's like when people go. Like when boomers. When they go, like, millennials are lazy.
Eric (Producer)
Yeah.
Travis Chappell
And I'm like, no.
Eric (Producer)
Which ones Grinding.
Travis Chappell
They're grinding hard.
Eric (Producer)
Yeah. And it's frustrating when they are not willing to concede the things that were good because again, they'll look at the opportunities that we have, which is fair, and say, you know, if. If I had the Internet when I was your age, or if I had social media or if I had, you know, Amazon dropshipping opportunities, whatever, like, I would have been this and that and whatever else. And I think that some of that is valid. I think also that the people who are saying that are still the people who would not take advantage of it if they were in this generation because they didn't take advantage of the opportunities that they were given in their generation. So what makes them think they'd be any different? Just because they were born at a different time. But, yeah, so that rhetoric I grow tired of because some of them just refuse to recognize the differences in the economy now versus when they were our age. And so if you're going to talk out of your ass about laziness and all this other cliches about the next generation and then not be willing to concede the things that are objectively more difficult and maybe more frustrating, then your. Your opinion is invalidated to me.
Caleb Hammer
Yeah.
Travis Chappell
I wanted to show you. Have you seen that clip from Boy Meets World where they're talking about buying a house?
Eric (Producer)
I mean, I've seen all of Boy Meets World, so I've never. Topanga was a childhood crush.
Travis Chappell
I'd never. Did you watch James from the Stars last season?
Eric (Producer)
No.
Travis Chappell
It reminded me a lot of the routines in Bring it on. Actually, I'm just kidding. Anyway, our future, okay?
Caleb Hammer
Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, and
State Farm Announcer
some kind of nook. Why would you take. Why would you take us to this house, which we can never afford, if we could afford it?
Travis Chappell
Do you like it?
State Farm Announcer
We can't afford it.
Caleb Hammer
Don't do that, okay.
Travis Chappell
Because you're becoming like, this is 1999.
State Farm Announcer
Corey. It is just cruel to take a person who is this close to losing it, this close, and taunt her with this cute little adorable house which she'll never, ever live in.
Caleb Hammer
So you like the house?
State Farm Announcer
I love this house. Why would you do this to me? You must be my happy, happy newlyweds. Are you the real estate agent? Why, yes, I am. Wee. Edith Stevens. At your service. How much do you love this breathtaking starter cottage with Nook? I'm reporting you to the Better Business Bureau immediately. Why, whatever for? My dear, this man is a dope. You know that. After three minutes of talking with him, and then you led him to believe we could afford this house when the truth is he can barely afford a sandwich. My dear Mrs. Matthews, it is my joy to place young couples in cozy surroundings such as these. And like most other couples, you think I can't afford it.
Eric (Producer)
But you accurate depiction of a real
Travis Chappell
estate agent, an $80,000 house over 30 years.
State Farm Announcer
I've already explained it to your husband. I told you not to talk to him.
Travis Chappell
She could talk to me.
State Farm Announcer
Yeah, I can talk to him. Remember, just a trifle down pay and a pittance of a mortgage and two living parents with a pen who can sign.
Caleb Hammer
You guys are gonna be.
Eric (Producer)
How can we afford $60,000?
Travis Chappell
There was a. There was a. I thought it was in that clip, but there was basically like, the down payment was like $1,500.
Eric (Producer)
Yeah.
Travis Chappell
And then maybe it was later in that clip, but it was like 1500 bucks and it was like an $80,000 mortgage.
Eric (Producer)
Yeah.
Travis Chappell
And I was like, how can we afford this? And that's 1999.
Eric (Producer)
It is strange that houses have just gotten bigger and bigger and bigger.
Travis Chappell
Yeah, that is weird.
Eric (Producer)
Starter homes used to be that two bedroom, two bathrooms, you know, 1200 square feet. And now it's like.
Travis Chappell
Now it's a 1200 square foot bathroom, half bath and.
Eric (Producer)
Yeah. And it's 3600ft.
Travis Chappell

Episode: CO-HOST | Make Money by Ignoring Generational Excuses and Taking Ownership
Host: Travis Chappell
Co-Host/Guest: Eric (Producer)
Date: June 29, 2026
This episode dives into the contentious topic of generational wealth, financial responsibility, and the tendency across generations (especially boomers vs millennials) to blame one another for economic struggles. While the hosts begin with a wide-ranging, comedic discussion about movies and celebrity crushes, the core theme soon becomes clear: you can’t let generational stereotypes or excuses hold you back from taking ownership of your financial trajectory. The show features a discussion about comments by finance influencer Caleb Hammer, his tough stance on baby boomers’ alleged squandered opportunities, and relatable pop culture references (including a nostalgic look at TV and movie depictions of “starter homes”).
Don’t let generational stereotypes or resentment define your attitude or financial actions. Every era has its opportunities and obstacles—but those who focus on what they can control (instead of blaming others) ultimately pave their own path to financial success.
