Welcome back to two Judgy Girls. This is Mary from the Bay and today I have for Rai, a friend of the pod. He Was on with Courtney when I was on maternity leave. I'm so excited to chat. You always have strong opinions.
Farai Bennett
Yes. I'm so excited. I feel like a lot's happened this week, but I feel it's gonna get. It's gonna get worse in the coming weeks.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Yes, I completely agree. Let's just jump into it. How are you feeling about the summer house finale?
Farai Bennett
Oh, my God. It was, like, sad.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Completely.
Farai Bennett
My heart was, like, broken and, like, just knowing the foreshadowing that those two, like, Amanda and Sierra will never be friends again. Like, all because Amanda decided to be, like, a ridiculous buffoon about all of this. I'm like, oh, my God. And then you have, like. And I was just telling my TikTok followers, I was like, I blame Sabrina for this whole, like, west and Sierra nonsense of them even making out, because it's like, why are you even pushing them together? You don't even know these people. Sabrina pisses me off. I don't know what it is.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Serena Belle. Serena Belle is insane, right?
Farai Bennett
I, like, there's something about her that's so Aritzia coded. I was telling people. I'm like, you know how the Aritzia employees are so, like, it's like, girl boss, disingenuous. It's like, hey, baby girl. Hey, mamas. Like, how are you? Oh, my God, I love you so much. That is Sabrina. It, like, boils my blood. And then it bothers me because I'm like, Ben. Like, I feel like the whole Ben thing on if he had a girlfriend or if he did not was so, like, shoved under the rug. Like, so many random storylines in Summerhouse actually were tossed to the side. Like, the whole Jesse and Sierra of it all. And then, like, how west felt about that. Like, I feel like a lot of that stuff was just, like, moved. And then Levi. Where is Casper the friendly ghost? So there's so many things that we just randomly forgot about that we would have remembered if this whole west and, like, Amanda thing never happened. And then who would have thought that Kyle would come out looking like the good guy? Like, you can't buy better pr.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
It is so, so crazy. Like, I. We recapped the summer house pod, and I feel like we're getting a lot of flack. I was giving too much grace to Amanda. I'm like, you guys, do you not remember the beginning? Before this all happened, you all hated Kyle and was, like, good for Amanda for leaving him. I'm so excited. And now everyone's, like, completely turned on her. It's so Crazy.
Farai Bennett
I am not one of those people. I've honestly really never liked Amanda. Like, I could say that wholeheartedly with my whole chest. I always thought she was kind of like. I don't know, like, from the beginning, season one just kind of like, jump off boots. Like, they just kind of got together because they're the last. Like, it was musical chairs, and they were the last two standing. She's convenient. She liked that he was on tv and she, like. And. And that was that. Like, even the. The season of their wedding. I was like, why is this wedding happening? He cheated on you, like, how many times? So at one point, everyone gets mad at Kyle. Here's the thing about the Kyle cheating rumors. That bothers me. The post marriage. Post marriage, that's important. Nothing is ever proven to be true. Like, Kyle never says anything. But Amanda doesn't say anything either. She's like, well, there's rumors that you cheat on me. And I see them, and it's like, that's your opening to ask, did you do that? But she never says that. How can I get on? And I'm sure maybe Kyle has, like, cheated and made out with girls. But it's like, but how can you be mad? You set that system up. Like, why would you marry him if you knew he's capable. If you know he's capable of that. Not saying it's okay, but it's like, babe, come on. You knew what. You knew what was going on. It'd be one thing if he was, like, this chivalrous, amazing guy before. Before you met him and then he cheated on you, but it's like, I can only look at you. Kind of crazy.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
You know how many videos are out there of Kyle Cook making out with people?
Farai Bennett
Are they out there?
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Well, Amanda's claims in the city when they did that pickup scene in April that she has one.
Farai Bennett
Why isn't she showing us?
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Oh, so you. So are you. Like, maybe this isn't real.
Farai Bennett
I don't think it's not real. I just need more. Like, first of all, I. I do think it's real. Cause Kyle never, like, says, like, I never did that. You know, either that or he doesn't remember. So maybe that's why he does that.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
I think you're onto something there.
Farai Bennett
I think he just doesn't remember. I think it's like. I think in his. In his head, he's like, which time?
Podcast Host/Interviewer
He's like, I don't want to. I don't want to get caught for that girl. When you're really Talking about the brunette, I was thinking of the blonde.
Farai Bennett
He was like, oh. Like, it was like, short circuited. I was like, so did you or. It's all. To be honest, at this point, it's kind of an allegation. It's kind of an allegation. I don't know. And I'm Team Kyle, honestly. And you know what? I do not, like, give a fuck. Honestly, that he. He, like, back charged her for rent. Like, I think that's incredible.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
The fact that she just had $117,000 laying around, which shows you that she
Farai Bennett
should be more supportive about this lover boy nonsense. That is what really drives me insane. She gets so pissed about him DJing, but it's like, who is going to save lover boy? He's out here working. If he's cheating on you, that's. Besides, that's honestly, like, not the point. He is telling you straight to your face that he doesn't have a dime. And you are sitting here being like, well, he's in a club. It's like, you do something, you get behind the DJ booth, you spin with him, you hang out there, help make money. I swear, he would respect you more. Men are so simple. You support their silly dreams. Which, by the way, with Kyle is not a silly dream. Like, he is out here getting gigs, probably getting lots of money. We are living in a world where Jesse Solomon can go on tour. So I can only imagine that. And Kyle Cook is not playing, like, little small theaters. Like, he's in Vegas. He's in Miami. He'd be doing stuff. So I'm like, I'm confused why Amanda is like, amanda, that's my thing. I'm like, you know, he's in debt and you're not doing. And you are like, djing is the source. It's like, well, he said he was going to stay home and not party. I'm like, but this is. This is helping your lifestyle. Now you have 117k to pay him back because you haven't done anything the way she was. Like, I paid him in a week. I'm like, oh, okay. So you are doing something.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Like, he is very brilliant. He's like, okay, I like to party. I'm going to get paid to party. And also put lover boy in every single venue that I DJ at and get paid to go there and put lover boy in there and get paid to actually dj. Like, he's a brilliant businessman. We can't deny that.
Farai Bennett
Right? Like, what he's doing is, like, great. Like, and if, like, if women are involved, like, whatever. Like, I mean, it's not whatever, but it's like, Amanda, you're not doing anything to, like, make this relationship work. He's. You're mad at him cause he's not there. He's mad at you because you are lazy. And like, nothing's given sell a swimsuit. What happened with that argument? They got in. In the first season. I was like, babe, you should have never gone in there naked. You should have went there in your swimwear line. You give your swimwear line to all the new girls who don't know you so they can kiss ass. Wear your swimsuit line and you become best. I'm confused. I'm confused. I can't. Amanda confuses me. I just. And I've always said this. I'm like, I can't wait till the day that they're not together. Cause we can actually see if she's Laz not. And clearly this whole scandal showed me she is so lazy that she can't find anyone outside of her friend group to fuck.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
I heard that. I heard that one. That people are like, she's so lazy that she had to find her friend's ex boyfriend. Like, she can't even go out.
Farai Bennett
I say all this to say, though, I don't wish Amanda Petula harm. Like, Amanda and Wes didn't kill anybody. At the end of the day, I find it a little bit asinine that people want them, like, burned. I mean, we should burn them at the stake, right? But after, like, let's. We barbecue, we eat, we're full and like, let's let them live their lives. Like, let's let it digest. You know what I'm saying? Like, my whole thing is like, should Amanda Betula really never work again? She realistically can't go get a job at Chili's. Like, when my friend and I were arguing, she was like, yeah, like you. She can. And I'm like, no. It'd be so distracting. The restaurant would never keep her. Like, because. And then she would probably get, like, People would never tip her because they hate her so much. And it's like, this is not work. So it's like Amanda Betula has. I think Amanda Betula should do this after in the city's over, she should do a hinge ad of being like me going to find some. Someone who's not my friend's ex. And like, we. Then we move on. Then we move on west. I don't know if he's gonna move on.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Okay, so do you think they will be on Summer House next season.
Farai Bennett
I think it'll be either one or the other. It won't be both.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Okay, so either Wes stays or Amanda stays. Okay.
Farai Bennett
I don't know. You know what? I don't know if Wes gonna stay.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Yeah. Tell me your lineup, you think for season 11. What's your predictions?
Farai Bennett
Levi gone.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Casper the ghost, as you called her.
Farai Bennett
I fear this isn't the end of me seeing Sabrina. I'm sure she'll be a. I'm sure she'll be a darling next season.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
She's definitely someone that goes to Burning man and it changed her life. She feels like that person.
Farai Bennett
That's part of the problem.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Yeah. Okay, so Ben and Sabrina, you think
Farai Bennett
Mr. Schuster, like, he has really been warming up to me. So Ben and Sabrina will be there and then Jesse Solomon will obviously be there because like, what else is he doing?
Podcast Host/Interviewer
And then did you see him? Did you see him on tour in la?
Farai Bennett
No, I saw the video though. I did not know I was not there. You know that that venue is literally walking distance from my house. And I didn't make an effort to go. But I'm happy for him. I think that's really. I think it's sick that he's doing that. Like, I'm not gonna knock him. He has a whole team that has set up this tour and people are buying tickets. Like, who am I, right?
Podcast Host/Interviewer
I went to the San Francisco show, people were eating it up. They just like crave the Bravo community. And I feel like the tour probably did better too because of where the scandal fell and like, good on him. Like, I think it's so fun. I mean, look at freaking. Luann de Lesseps is a six year old woman touring the world and a cabaret show and she can't sing. Like, you can be whoever you want
Farai Bennett
to be, be nasty and kind of compare. Luann has a little bit of a vision and more songs than Jesse Solomon does. Whereas Jesse Solomon does have chatgpt on his side. Like some of the songs. I'm like, did you just import that? Like, I don't know. From what I hear. See, this is why it didn't go. All I heard is it's all covers. Like, do I want to hear the OG song or listen to Jesse Solomon sing it? It's not like an Ariana Grande concert and she's singing Celine Dion and it's like, oh my God, moving like, you know what I mean? You know what I hate about Jesse Solomon? I hate that he's so my typ. I find him Actually so attractive physically. But then I feel like he's hot.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
I mean, he's tall.
Farai Bennett
Yeah. I'd have to put, like, duct tape over his mouth. And then we could fornicate.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Okay, so we have Ben, Sabrina, Jesse Solomon. Who else?
Farai Bennett
Oh, Sierra will definitely be back.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
You think? See, I'm just, like, I'm curious about
Farai Bennett
the time she's hosting after sun, not the entire show.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Okay. Okay.
Farai Bennett
And, yeah, and, like, let's be like, I. I'm gonna watch after sun with Sierra, and maybe that's why they have Sierra doing After sun, because then people will be more interested in seeing it. Kind of like with Ariana, I feel like that's why Love Island USA blew up. Cause it's like, oh, we know Ariana. Like, she can be the host. So I feel like that same thing will happen with after sun, but I don't think that's grounds for her to be feeling comfortable about leaving Summer House. So Ciara will be there. I don't know if Wes will be there. I think Wes is kind of over or. I don't think Wes wants to come back, I think.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
But does it. Does he need the job, though?
Farai Bennett
Yes. Everyone wants a TV presence. He probably thinks, like, this isn't worth it, but, like, TV presence is amazing. I could see him wanting to come back for a redemption arc that won't really. But the thing is about west, which, like, goes so unnoticed. West isn't really good at being on tv. He's not a star to me. Like, I don't know, Like, Jesse Solomon really leans into the bit.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
You're so right. Like, gets in the bed with the girls, creates conversation. West is just kind of partying on the sidelines.
Farai Bennett
He's partying on the sidelines, and I feel like when it comes to, like, the nitty gritty of confrontation, he can't speak. He doesn't advocate for himself. He's kind of like Amanda. He's like, I'm not surprised they got together. Looking back, like, they're both like that. Because I don't view Amanda like that either. I'm like, amanda's just someone who's there because Kyle's there. Like, she. You know, in my. All these years I've watched it, I'm like, she's just there because he's there. She wasn't there on her own merits.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Totally. Like, she was never casted for the show, which is quite crazy to think about. Everyone else was cast for this show, and she was not. That's a good point. So I think Wes Though he's very infectious and brings people together and creates the family unit and he loves to have a good time. I think he. He parties all the time. So that's why I think people are. To be honest, I have to tell you, I was on a boat with him for super bowl and that.
Farai Bennett
Oh, I'm supposed to go to that.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
I wish you did ask me, like,
Farai Bennett
so last minute and like, and then I ended up getting Covid and it just didn't work.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
I. I actually, I got covet after the boat.
Farai Bennett
So tell me the story.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Okay, so I was on the boat. So Kyle was djing. Wes was like the emcee person. And the way that he works a room, he comes around, talks to every single person, kisses you on the cheek, remembers you, is like, don't you. You know, I live in San Francisco. And he's like, don't you live here? Where do you live from right here. He really tries to make a personal connection. And I was eating it up. I believed every single moment. Little did I know. I mean, this is the end of February. Like, I'm pretty sure he was already hicking up with Amanda at that point. And Kyle and him are on this boat, like, having a blast together. It's so crazy to watch. But I became a victim of Wes Wilson. I totally was enthralled by him. Like, I can't believe.
Farai Bennett
Personally victimized by Wes Wilson.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Two hands up. Two hands up.
Farai Bennett
Like, can I say something? He recently followed me on TikTok right before the season aired because, see, this is where I got to eat my words. So literally. Like, I made a video before, obviously all of this came out. And I was like, guys, why are people still mad about west and the way he treated Ciara? Because honestly, and I still stand by this, to be completely honest, I feel like west and Sierra's relationship was entirely off camera. So the fact that, like I said, I don't think it was a bad thing that he went to the news outlets and like, talked about, like, the breakup. Like, he didn't ever. And I read every article that he did.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
The New York Times. Courtney, were and I were in the first New York Times article about him commenting, shut up. We're like, style. It was like kind of more like a style thing. And just like Wes Wilson. And then he did a follow up and that was the one that he really got in trouble for.
Farai Bennett
Yeah, I read his, like, op ed and I didn't think what he said was bad. He never even talked bad about Sierra. But, like, I felt like he should have been roasted at the reunion. And then going into the next season, Sierra should have been over it. I was like, okay, babe, you didn't date him for that long. Yeah, he led you on. But girl is bravo. Of course he wants to be famous. Like, you had every right to be mad, but, like, keeping that grudge on forever was, like, really not necessary for the timeline. But I still stand by the fact that, like, Amanda, you should not be with him. I think, by the way, I love Ciara. I think Sierra's cool. I think she's fun. I think she's hot. I think she's all the things, but, like, she is silly down boots for, like, doing. Falling for that man and then also falling back into it with him so fast. I thought she was silly before, and I think she's silly in that finale. I'm like, really? My girl is down bad. Sick. I am sick. I'm sick. Let's just do this. I got a diva who's down for someone mediocre. I can't. So I'm like, oh. So just, like, really? It's like, I'm not even. And people see. And if I say it on TikTok, everyone's like, you're a Sierra hater. I'm not. I'm like, I want best for my doll, but she'd be doing all this shit. And I'm like, and you're too hot for him. So it's like one of those things where I'm like, oh, my God. Oh, it just. It's hard to see. So the whole time when she was, like, pissed about the west stuff in the beginning, I was looking at her crazy. I was like, girl, I don't know why you like that guy. You should be going. Going. You're famous. You can go and date whoever. And you're stuck on West Wilson, the guy that you share a house with during the summer in a metropolitan city
Podcast Host/Interviewer
for, like, eight weeks.
Farai Bennett
Go and meet up, meet a ton of other hotter guys. Like, I don't get it. I don't get it at all. Yeah. So.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
But wait, he started following you on TikTok?
Farai Bennett
Oh, yeah.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Yeah.
Farai Bennett
I lost the plot.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
You're having fun.
Farai Bennett
I know. I know. I'm having a lot of fun. Okay, so. Because I made a video being like guys, but we need to stop hating Wes Wilson. Like, this season in December house. Him and Sierra haven't dated in so long. It's really not that deep. Like, honestly, Sierra should have never, like, really been that down bad in the first place. Like, let's. Let's let Wes live. Especially because Jesse Solomon is here annoying us, and we can't be doing all of that. So he, like, saw my video and was like, thank you so much, dude. Like, hell yeah. And I also. I have, like, 50 degrees of separation with him because my astrologer. His. My astrologer's boyfriend is like, really. Is one of his really good friends. And I met her because me and her other group of friends went to the summer house party together for 4th of July this past summer. So I was there.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Oh, wow. Tell us about that.
Farai Bennett
I've never told any. I never told anyone that. Like, even on my platform. I never said I made a video being, like, real ones know where this is. But, like, I didn't, like, elaborate.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Oh, my. Can you. Can you now?
Farai Bennett
Yeah. Like, it was fun. Like, it was fine. Like, it was. It was a great time. What I liked about it is, like. Which is what maybe some people wouldn't like about it. Obviously, like, it's being filmed, right? So everyone who's invited, you're invited through friends of friends. So it's not, like a random thing. So my friend was, like, one of my really good friends in New York. He is really good friends with Kyle. His boss is really good friends with Kyle's boss, with Kyle. So that's how we got invited, essentially. Then, like, my friend, my astrologer and her boyfriend knew West. And then, like, and they're all kind of in the same group, so we all got invited. So I ended up going. And then. So what? The thing is, like, they weren't ready to, like, the. The house wasn't ready yet. So they keep everyone outside, like, on that road. It's like a big, like, driveway before the gate even enters. So you're kind of in that, like, area where, like, the gate is. So it's pretty big, like, spacious. It's just like a cluster. Cause not everyone's there on time. But then let's. What's nice is that, like, they'll give you lover boys. And then, like, west came out and gave, like, bottles of. So we were all drinking and, like, getting to know each other. Like, the people who were there. Like, oh, how do you. How do you know someone?
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Sure.
Farai Bennett
By the time the party starts and you're all inside, it's not, like, awkward. You've talked to all these people because you're kind of in this enclosed space. So that's why I think it, like, gets really fun because you've already, like, done all the things to, like, get to know everyone and, like, you're drinking and, like, and then you realize you know this person, that person. So it's like you're not meeting, like, random people.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Everyone's connected in some way.
Farai Bennett
Right. And then, like, which is kind of nice because obviously the party is like, they don't play real music. So it's like, not for the first, like, half of it. And then, like, eventually they start playing, like, real music. But it was, like, fun. It was cute. It was. To be honest, it felt. It looks like it does on tv.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Like, wait, where do you go? The bathroom.
Farai Bennett
So you can't go in the house. So that. Although I was in the kitchen for a second.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Ooh, how'd you get in there?
Farai Bennett
Because my friend was, who got me invited was making the chicken nuggets with west and the guy who's my astrologer's boyfriend. So they were, like, doing all that. There's porta Potties on the side and they're very clean. They're not like, dirty.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
High end Porta Potties.
Farai Bennett
Yeah, they're like, normal, but they're like. You can tell they're clean. That's where everyone uses the bathroom. So the party's mainly outside in the backyard. But yeah, no, it was really. It was fun. It was cute. It was like the best party I've ever been to, but it was the petting zoo theme. And, like, that was fun. Like, like, it was a fun way to spend my Fourth of July. Totally.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
That's so awesome. And that. That's their, like, first official party of the summer. The first weekend of filming.
Farai Bennett
So my one request, though, if we were all gonna go, I was like, guys, we have to leave before they start kicking people out. That's embarrassing when people don't leave. I was like, I, like, everyone get out. That pisses me off. So first of all, I can't stay here. Yeah, it is tacky when they do that. I won't lie. Like, why aren't we having, like, a little afters? Like, you know, when the party's over, but then everyone's in the house and that's when the real fun begins and then we all go out. So I wish they did kind of that. And I guess some people do stay and do that, but I was like, let's leave. So we left at, like. I want to say we left around seven.
Podcast Host/Interviewer

Farai Bennett
there was a sweet wine fridge. Hey, we all have our reasons. Don't walk into a surprise if you know you VRBO terms apply. See vrbo.com trust for details.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
So you only have Ben and Sabrina of Jesse, of Sierra. Who else is coming back for season 11?
Farai Bennett
Bailey. Bailey was good. I'm tired of pretending. I wish Carl would, like, lean more into Bailey. I know Bailey's trying to force it and it's. I feel like Bailey likes Carl, but Carl. But Carl doesn't like Bailey, but he's leaning into it because he's like, oh, I have to kind of, like, pretend to like this girl for a storyline. And someone is telling Bailey that Carl's into it. And, like, I don't know. I'm like, just fuck her already. Jesus Christ.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Do you think Carl will come back next summer?
Farai Bennett
Yeah, I do. Really?
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Okay. Okay. Interesting.
Farai Bennett
I think Rob loves Carl. I feel like Carl's played the game. And I also do think Carl will be on in The City Season 2. I used to make fun of Carl for being on Summer House for so long, but now I'm like, I want Carl there.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
I'm obsessed with Carl. And that brings us to Lindsay. Will she be at the summer house?
Farai Bennett
I think she'll pop in and pop out.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Yeah.
Farai Bennett
And I think Kyle. I wonder if Kyle and Lindsay will be there. Maybe Kyle and Lindsay won't be there. I feel like Kyle and Lindsay will come every now and then, but they won't be there all the time.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Okay. What about Amanda?
Farai Bennett
I don't know. I feel like Amanda will stick to in the city.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Okay.
Farai Bennett
And avoid that. It's just not gonna work.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
I'm so curious. My thing is I, I, I want them all back. I literally want them all back. Lindsay know, maybe even Carl knows in the city.
Farai Bennett
If they all come back, does that create, like, a weird dynamic? Like, it's just like fighting, fighting. Awkward, awkward, awkward. Like, how can we go out together? That's what sucks. It's the fact that they all have to stay in this house together. So I feel like.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
So for me, I think Ciara is too big for the show at this point, and I don't think she should come back. And I want to see Amanda, Kyle and West have to share the house together. I'm controversial. Fry is just like, hands in his mouth, can't speak, speechless. Do you want to watch that?
Farai Bennett
I do want to watch that. Yes, exactly. I feel like I'm you know what? I would be so down to see that dynamic. Yes. Because how is that going to work?
Podcast Host/Interviewer
I want to watch it. That's what I want to see. It will be very interesting.
Farai Bennett
Is Kyle going to be down for that, though?
Podcast Host/Interviewer
I think he is. I think he's a smart businessman and he can, like, a little bit separate. I know if this is going to continue to help my business, which is like, lover boy, then I'm going to continue to film.
Farai Bennett
Yeah. He did kind of say then on watch what happens live that he's, like, gonna go talk to west, which is like, cameras where, like.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
I know, right? Oh, God. Okay, what about. We have Mia. Do you want her back?
Farai Bennett
Oh, that's my fucking queen.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Is amazing. She had such a great first season. I'm literally obsessed with her and KJ as well. I think we're gonna learn a lot about KJ at the reunion.
Farai Bennett
Do you wanna know something about KJ and Dara that, like. That makes me, like, look sideways? So when I went to that summer house party, my friend, I won't say her name, but she was real. Her and KJ were, like, blurting at the start, vibing vibe to the point where they went on a date a couple days later, like, wow. When they were back in the city and they were, like, texting, talking. Oh. Because he tried on my glasses. I had these silver glasses. And he's like, can I try them on? And I was like, yeah. And I think he had them, and then I think I left them at the house. He saw them pick them up and he was gonna give them to her. Got it. And then, like, they were talking for a little, and he was like, really? She described him, like, as Dara describes and everyone else does, like, he's lover boy, whatever. I don't want to say he ghosted her, but they, like, just kind of stopped talking. And then she was kind of like, yeah. I feel like someone told him, like, not to date me because, like, he's on this show now. But then Darrow came in the mix and. Or maybe he just met Dara and, like, just liked Dara better. Could be one of the two.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
It's interesting because a lot of the girls are kind of saying, like, Dara is cloud chasing.
Farai Bennett
I'm gonna. I don't want to say this because I love Sierra, KJ and Mia as a trio. I don't want it to be broken up. Those three have to be back.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Okay.
Farai Bennett
That's why I don't want Amanda there, because I feel like having Amanda and Wes there would be fun for a second, but then it would be useless towards the end. It'd be fun for shock value, but like, I don't know. But I want those three back. But KJ is coming off a little cringe to me.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Ooh, I feel like that might be a hot take. Tell me more.
Farai Bennett
I think it's the Internet presence of it all. Like the threads.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Threads, yeah.
Farai Bennett
The thread stuff is like, he's taking it all a little bit too personally. And I'm like, I don't know. It's a little bit cringe. It's a little bit cringe. And then like, the Dara stuff is good. I don't know. I don't see. I don't go up for the rest of this is. I don't go up for the couple that's ever house with Loki. I don't like. I like Ben. I just don't like Sabrina them as a couple. Don't like, don't love. I don't hate KJ and Dara, but I'm like, they're just cringe to me.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Let's talk a little bit about in the city. What do you think about, like this Lindsey Danielle feud right now? I mean, they're fighting about a hand job right now.
Farai Bennett
Okay, my. I think Lindsay's absolutely correct. First of all, I think it's such a sneak attack that Danielle was in the spin off. From the moment we've heard about the spinoff, Bravo never said anything about Danielle being involved. No one ever like posted a picture of Danielle. No one ever knew she was in the mix. And then of course, Taylor comes out and then it's like. It's like this. How ghosts. I was like, that was fucking.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
That was like a sneak attack.
Farai Bennett
It was a sneak attack. And that was on purpose. Because if we knew she was on that show, we would've been like, why? Why? That was crazy.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
The Internet is coming for her. I've actually been apologizing for her because I was always kind of on that side of like, I thought Carl and Lindsay were rushing the engagement and the wedding, and so I was kind of on that side. I do think the HJ happened and then I think she was questioning the whole Turner situation because she was pregnant. They weren't even living together. But then it feels a little hypocritical right now as well because, well, in
Farai Bennett
all of these scenarios, what pisses me off about Danielle is that this is none of her business and it is not her life. Danielle and Lindsay weren't that old when that whole engagement was happening. Like at that point you just know. You just gotta let people make mistakes. Like you just have to agree, you cannot. The more you tell people what not to do, they do it anyway because it's their life. And like, totally whatever if they're in a different situation. Like let's say this is so random. Let's say if Carl was abusive, like, yes, you go in and say something. But if you know they're just being idiots and they're just like really rushing into stuff. Like you gotta, you gotta give it up to God, diva. You gotta give it up to God and. Cause lo and behold, did the wedding happen. No. Someone, someone told Carl to get some sense at the 11th hour.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
And luckily his mom, Sharon. Dude.
Farai Bennett
I feel for Lindsay though. Cause I was on her side with the breakup and I, I still am. There is something about non confrontational divas that pissed me off. And Carl and Amanda do a lot of that. And I hate the fact that Lindsay had to go and tell him, like, hey, the reason why I don't like, like you sometimes is because you did all this stuff. We sweep it under the rug and just. Cause you're nice to me. It doesn't like let it. That empty feeling doesn't go away. Like. And I hate that. I hate when you have to tell someone the obvious. They know this in their minds, these non confrontational people, but they don't want to address it. The thing is, people confuse being non confrontational with like not wanting drama. It's like, no, no, no, you don't want accountability. And that is what I don't like. Amanda does that and Carl does. I think Carl doesn't mean to do it. I think he's naturally just that way because like, you know, his mom is clearly a boy mom and like loves him down. But like, but like, but with Amanda, Amanda knows how to be confrontational. She just chooses to be non confrontational. And that's kind of the difference between them.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Any other the city or summer house. Things you need to get off your chest.
Farai Bennett
Nel's just a hypocrite. She's doing the same shit Lindsay was doing. Well, minus the married guy that she's having a baby with. But she's doing even more damage than Lindsay ever. Good. Like what Lindsay's doing is not an anomaly. She met a guy, it was her window to have a baby. She did it and now she has it and now it's over. Now she like doesn't give a fuck about having a man. And that's All I could imagine, Lindsay's, like, pretty happy. I feel like Lindsay avoided the Carl stuff, too, because, like, because she was pregnant, and with Turner, like, all that just didn't matter. And then now that she's not with Turner, it's bringing up old feelings. I don't think she misses, like, the relationship with Carl I think she knew was ultimately for the better, especially. Cause Lindsay believes in struggle, love. That's a whole nother story for another day. But I feel like also, she's in this space of, like, well, I'm a mom. She has money. She lives in New York. And she's like, and I'm killing it. And, like, when the right guy comes, it'll come. And it won't just be because I feel like it has to happen. So I'm happy for Lindsay in that regard. And I think Carl should be the Godfather. I really do. I'm not. I'm not kidding when I say that. I'm being so serious. I'm like, lindsay, if I ever see her in person, I will tell her. I'll be like, Lindsey Hubbard. You need to make Carl the godfather of your child. Like, I'm not kidding. He would be 10 toes down for this baby. You better do that. God forbid you get struck by lightning one day. Like, so, like, literally get activated to be Jenna's dad.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
So Carl the godfather, not a mess. Okay. Are you watching Atlanta? Overall thoughts? It's been a fantastic season.
Farai Bennett
It's the best season in years.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
They needed it. They needed it.
Farai Bennett
Atlanta was my Bravo gateway drug.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Oh, tell me more. When did you first start watching Atlanta? From the beginning or the very beginning?
Farai Bennett
My mom was, like, really into Real Houses of Atlanta when I was growing up. Cause I feel like Real Housewives of Atlanta came around when, like, there was no, like, black dramas on tv. So Real Houses of Atlanta kind of was that. And I feel like when it came out, everyone and their mom was talking about Real Houses Atlanta, who was black, and, like. And it was like. Like, kind of like that. So, like, that's how I got into it. I was like, it's so funny because when people talk about reality shows, they talk about, like, oh, we need, like, these crazy, like, rich people to be in the room. And it's like, no one on Real Houses of Atlanta was ever rich. It was just, like, getting these crazy personalities together and seeing what would stick. And the dynamic just worked. And that's what made me fall in love with. I was in tune. Kim.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Kim Zolciak was literally, like, living in a condo she was exposing Big Papa. I mean, it was so crazy that she was on a reality TV show saying, like, I'm dating this married man, and he just bought me a car.
Farai Bennett
Car, yeah. And then the 60 that. I was like, the white Escalade. She was tea, though. I remember thinking I was like, she's a grifter, but she is tea. She's got these. This sounds. Can I say this? You can, sure.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
I just.
Farai Bennett
Kim Zak must have, like, amazing pussy. Like, I just feel like. Like, she, like, has two kids and this married man paying for all her, and, like, it's just lot la dee dee dee da da laissez faire. And she's just. She's basically treating real houses in Atlanta like a hobby. There's something tea about that. Where I started, where I got off of Kim, was when she got with Corey. That's when she was in her WAG era. Too big for the show, too big for her britches. But even still, I have to look at Kim Zolciak with T always, because now she has six kids and has another new rich man. Amazing pussy.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Like, rainbows and unicorns flying out of it.
Farai Bennett
Imagine, whatever she's doing, she needs to teach a. She needs to teach a college course. Everyone's like, bethany Frankel. She should teach a business course. I was like, who gives a fuck about that? I want to know what Zodiac is doing.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
What are your thoughts on Bethany Frankel?
Farai Bennett
Pathetic trash. She blocked me on TikTok, and I don't even care.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
She is such a narcissist. Like, the way that she does everything for attention and for likes and for comments, and I can't even imagine the amount of time she's on her phone. Like, her screen time's probably, like, 23 hours a day. I also feel like she doesn't sleep.
Farai Bennett
I was never a Bethany fan, ever. I'm always too. I'm always too early. I'm always too early. I was early to Amanda, and I'm early to Bethany Frank. Oh, also, I was way early on Tom Sandoval. I saw Tom Sandoval, like, at the back. I saw Tom Sandoval. I knew he was full of shit from the moment I saw him shave his forehead. I was like, I knew it. When I. When he was finally getting taken down, I was like, my voodoo goes hard. I've been waiting for his takedown. Who?
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Wait, who's next?
Farai Bennett
Next? No one inside.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
No one's on your radar right now. Anyone from, like, Rhode Island?
Farai Bennett
Can I say something?
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Sure.
Farai Bennett
I haven't really gone into Rhode Island.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Really?
Farai Bennett
When it came out, it was during Coachella week.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Sure.
Farai Bennett
And I was just really preoccupied with my own fucking life. So. Because I watched it in bed and then I was kind of tired and I, like, fell asleep. It didn't bore me, but, like, whatever. And then I rewatched it again when I was super busy, but I was like, like. But I just, like. I think it's. Cause I had seen it already. I was like, okay, but I need to refresh it in my mind. And then, like, I saw the first two episodes and everything was fine, but, like, they all just looked the same and I just didn't. And then I tried to watch it when Coachella was over. I was so hungover, and I was like, I just can't with this right now. So I was like, I need to put this on the back burner. So I do intend to watch everything in full, not like, towards. I want to watch it before the reunion so that I can give a full opinion on it. So, like, I don't think Rhode island is bad or anything like that. I just. At the time it came to my life, I just was personally not ready. But I see what the girls are saying. I know what's going on. I know about the girl at the house. I know about the. I know about. I know. Hey, Ma. He is Ma.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
I know.
Farai Bennett
I know. I'm online, so I know the tea, but I can't speak to it. I don't know who. The dolls. I know. The thing is, I can't recognize the dolls. So. It's Dolores. Dolores, Dolores, Dolores, Dolores, Dolores, Dolores, Dolores. They all look like fucking Dolores. So I'm like, oh, I don't know.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Okay, okay, okay. We'll get you back on and we could talk about it because I love your hot takes. Let's take a quick break and come back and talk about the Valley.

okay, so overall thoughts on the Valley? A lot of people call it dark. Also, every week, I sing the theme song. Do you mind singing it with me really quickly? Like, like I go, I'm all right. Now you say everything is all right.
Farai Bennett
Come on. I can't even bring myself to do something. You should have warned me.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
It's okay. This is even better. Okay, because everything's not all right in the Valley. Overall thoughts?
Farai Bennett
My overall thoughts about the Valley is this. No one struggles this hard. Like, I, I, the thing about the Valley is that, like, it's a show that I can't watch consistently. Like, this season, I, I, I Jumped in at episode four because I was like, valley's just sad. It's sad. It's not reflective of la.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
It's just the problem with the show. It's not rewatchable. There's no moment that you want to sit through again. Nothing's funny. Everything is serious. This is true. Life problems. And it does feel sad.
Farai Bennett
It's very. It's a show that is very Matter of fact.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Yes.
Farai Bennett
Like, every show on Bravo has a little bit of aspiration that I can, like, look to. Like, the girls on Salt Lake City. Like, I can look to being that delusional. I'm like, oh, my God, this delusion. I love it.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Like, Queen Lisa Barlow.
Farai Bennett
Like, summer house. That would be fun to go to this house with your friends and do all this shit. Like, yeah, there's drama, but there's something. There's something aspirational with being a housewife. There's. There's something aspirational in all these. Even Vanderpump rules had this cunty undertone of, like, yeah, we're all a goddamn mess, but. And we work at this restaurant, but, you know, life could be worse. Like, you know, and they were younger, but, like, the Valley is like, y' all are with the wrong people. Y', all, like, y' all are depressed, and no one is, like, that attractive. And then, like, the only fun people are Jasmine and Zach, and then everyone else is tragic. I think having Tom and Lala there is honestly really gimmicky. It just gives, like, Vanderpump leftovers. Like, just join the show because your other show is canceled. And it's like, what? And then, like, it's just. It's just.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
So I will say I liked Lala this week in terms of standing up to Dani and also the talk with Kristen and her kind of breaking the fourth wall of being, like, you know what these alliances. Just because you don't like Janet doesn't mean, like, you need to protect Dani and Nia, because even Nia is. The mask is falling off. And she. I feel like she, like, needs help. Like, she's kind of trying to show what really happens, because if this is what happens on camera, what happens behind the closed doors.
Farai Bennett
I know. And I. I. A part of me thought she was like, she's different behind the scenes, but I feel like she really is just, like, in fight or flight. It.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Yeah. She has four kids that her baby literally is not taking a bottle, so she is the only food source for that child. She must be exhausted and then putting up with him. He is her fifth child. Like, she is doing everything to appease him. Also, during this fight, she's trying to calm him down. She's like, I love you. I can tell your energy is changing to, like, calm him down and soften him because she knows it's going to get bigger and bigger if she doesn't, like, like, step in. And he's still an. The way he spoke to her was disgusting, despicable. I don't think he can come back from this. It's super interesting. He didn't go to watch what happens live. I predicted that last week that he wouldn't show up. Did you really?
Farai Bennett
You don't believe. As far as that he's busy working another job and Andy even commented on that.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
I'm sure this opportunity did come up and it. It aligned perfectly for him. I. I do think that. But I was like, he's not going to show because what is he going to say after this particular episode? He had a statement. He put a story up last night saying to the person I love most, my beautiful wife. I'm sorry. Watching these last few episodes back hasn't been easy. It was a difficult season of life and a version of myself that I'm embarrassed by and not proud of. A short fuse. Stress, alcohol and lack of sleep are never a good combination. But that's not an excuse. I should never have taken any of it out on you.
Farai Bennett
Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
It's like, I'm not buying it. You talk like this to her all the time.
Farai Bennett
So I'm not defending him by any means, but I do, like, I have to say, maybe he was just really losing his mind. Like, and I feel like that shouldn't, like, go unnoticed when Jax loses his mind. That's kind of a different story because Jax is like a. Whatever. I actually won't say that. But Jax is a very different breed. Right. I just feel like. And Jax does that without five kids. I feel like the more kids they have, the more he's losing his mind. Like, and I think that's, like, worth noting. Like, obviously Nia is going through it. She's the one who's, like, doing it all. But, like, from what they showcase with Danny, like, he was the first couple seasons, he was kind of hands on, wasn't he?
Podcast Host/Interviewer
I just. I can't get over this guy. Cause I do think they've brought to the light that he has a problem with alcohol and that he changes his personality while he drinks and it's not fun. And I like what Alala Said to him, I'm not saying you're an alcoholic or anything like that, but like, your personality changes when you drink and everyone is scared of him. The way that Lacy and freaking Jesse are just sitting there doing the makeup still during this fight, I'm like, this has clearly happened a lot. Like, they're not even taken back by this moment. It was strange.
Farai Bennett
I don't think he's an alcoholic too. I think sometimes when people drink alcohol, it just. It affects him with what. What's going on in their lives. If he's feeling always stressed out and like, yeah, like, bubbles up and then he, like, it's different. But I feel like when his kids are older or like, maybe they're more settled, like, it won't be like that. I feel like this is just like a rough patch. Like, do you think they should get divorced over this? They have four kids.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
I think that he doesn't treat her well. That's my whole thing.
Farai Bennett
Do you think in general or just he doesn't treat her well right now, like in that moment, like back then,
Podcast Host/Interviewer
it feels like they're alluding to the church a bit too. Their church is like, we worship the men type of thing. It feels like that. Like she feels like. She feels like she's trying to be like a trad wife. There's something there.
Farai Bennett
Well, that's why she puts up with that. She likes that. She. She'd be liking that. And that's another thing. I'm like, these girls be liking that trad wife stuff, which is like. Like, why are you doing that to yourself? It's hard to be an independent woman on Bravo. Someone has to push you to do it.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
What did you think about the beauty pageant?
Farai Bennett
I just feel like all the gimmicks they do are just like, why are we in San Diego? Like, why aren't we in Ibiza? Like, why are we here? Why are we always doing something that's tragic? Even the trip, the things they do are tragic. The trips they take are tragic.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Like, everything is just.
Farai Bennett
Nothing is fun. I'm just like, we tried to make the pageant fun from the moment we pitched that idea. I was like, oh, dudes in drafts. Like 40 year olds in drag. Like, I don't. This is like the worst episode of Hannah Montana ever. And nothing is gag. Honestly, the Valley's made me question, like, what my future is going to be. I was like, I'm not moving to the Valley for that. First of all, I don't want to live in the Valley ever. Where they live in the Valley, I'm like, I do not want to be here. They have. Well, there's great restaurants in Studio City, but it's like, what else? It's just, like, desert and, I don't know. Not aspirational.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Totally. Do you think that Jason really got hurt at basketball?
Farai Bennett
No.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Him taking the ambulance was so dramatic. I was absolutely dying. I will say, I do like hearing about Cruz thriving without Jax.
Farai Bennett
I do love that. I do love that Cruz is so much better. And I'm so happy that Britney's out of that situation. Like, she. Like, that was scaring me completely. I mean, but then I had to look back. I'm like, I see this. What I have to look at, like, some of the girls crazy. I'm like, what made Britney ever think that Jax would be a great dad? Like, a great, like, father? Like, I just. No shade. But it's like, what made you look at his behavior and go, hm, that is who I want to procreate with. It's like. It's delusion. Like, I don't know. I just. I think you could be the craziest person ever and still be, like, a good dad for the most part. Like, the fact, like. But there was, like. With Jax's track record, like, I feel like Danny, like, will grow out of this. I feel like Danny will be like, whoa, I was being crazy. And one day he'll be. I mean, I don't think he's a bad dad at all. I feel like the fact that he's so. Him and Nia are so involved in their four kids. It's like, what's driving him to drink
Podcast Host/Interviewer
the next morning, how she was the person that first apologized, and she's apologizing for bringing it up on camera. I thought that was so strange.
Farai Bennett
That was weird.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
We both had drinks. You know, she totally gave him the out. It's like, what did you guys say off camera? The way he's like, I can't believe you said this on camera. Like, take off your mic. The cameras are following us. His reunion. All he can do is apologize. But I don't know if they'll have another season.
Farai Bennett
I. I don't think they will. I don't ever hear anyone say, oh, my God, that. That. That show the Valley. So good.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
But people are watching it. That's what's crazy.
Farai Bennett
I think people say, like, oof, the Valley is what. I hate the word guilty pleasure. When people talk about Bravo and Housewives shows. It's not guilty. Like, this is what you like, right? That show Is a guilty pleasure. Okay.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
You hate watching it
Farai Bennett
when I'm bored. Did you tell me to watch the episode this week? I probably would have caught it another time. It wasn't high on my priority list. I would be in a very depressive state to watch the Valley because once I'm happy and I'm like, oh, well, glad that's not my life. Gotta go.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
What. What is like your go to like you're so excited to watch every week currently?
Farai Bennett
Summerhouse. Summerhouse has really kept me alive. I just love the nuances. I'm like, so excited to watch Atlanta like every Monday. I'm like, because I watch it on Peacock the next day. And I'm like, oh, Atlanta. I can watch Atlanta. I usually watch Euphoria on Sundays. If I catch it, I'll watch Euphoria and Atlanta right after because I need a palate cleanser after whatever is going on. Euphoria and Atlanta is the perfect person for that. So the perf show for that. So yeah, so I do, I do be looking forward to Atlanta. And sometimes I, I don't like, forget what happened on Atlanta. I'm like, oh. But like, I. They'll play the recap like, oh, yeah, I forgot to happen. I forgot. Cynthia is like kind of the girl this season. So I'm like, yeah, yeah. So I do. I am. Those are the two shows. I'm really excited. I know this is an on Bravo, but I'm super excited for Love Island. I'll be like, be doing that. Oh, I, I never really got excited for Beverly Hills, but Beverly Hills was.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
But yeah, that, that was bad. This, that was tough. A tough watch.
Farai Bennett
And the fact that everyone's watching that. I'm like, what? Like, huh?
Podcast Host/Interviewer
It's so crazy.
Farai Bennett
Nothing happened.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
I know. It's so bad. It's so bad.
Farai Bennett
Nothing happened.
Podcast Host/Interviewer
Yeah, I'm, I'm, I'm. But I watch. I bet I watch. Okay, Fry, tell us where we can find you have something very exciting launching June 1st.
Farai Bennett

Farai’s Next Venture
Farai’s commentary combines biting wit, pop culture savviness, and inside-BRAVO knowledge. The conversation is opinionated, irreverent, self-aware, and often laugh-out-loud funny, with both Mary and Farai poking fun at Bravo stars while sometimes revealing empathy for even the most “lazy” housemates.
