Welcome back to two Jesse Girls. This is Mary from the Bay. And today I have Gibson from gabbing with Give. I'm so excited because you have been out and about this week. I saw you behind the scenes at Watch what Happens Live. You were at the city premiere. I want the goss.

[Gibson]

Thanks for having me, by the way. And I actually. Mary, I'm realizing I have recorded with Courtnee many times, but for some reason, we've never recorded together. I feel like I'm usually filling in for you or like whatever, we're shifts passing in the night, but I'm so happy to finally be doing this with you.

[Mary]

I'm so excited. I had so much fun at the Threads Oscar party with you. Just gabbing on that couch together. We have a connection.

[Gibson]

Yeah, I agree. And I've definitely been out in these street. In these New York streets. As. As one West Wilson likes to say, it's been a week. I was sitting on my podcast this morning. I can't think of a bigger week that we've had in recent memory where it's like the anticipation for in the City and Summer House is like. I can't even put it into words. Yeah, you can feel it. Exactly.

[Mary]

Yes. They're waiting for this moment. Okay, so let's start from the top because.

[Gibson]

Yeah, so I went on Monday to the in the City premiere party, and they had that on Monday instead of Tuesday because they needed Kyle and Lindsay there. And they had. Were obviously on Watch Happens Live. The whole cast was there at the. At the premier party.

[Mary]

It looked very small, looked like pretty intimate. Is this true?

[Gibson]

It was probably like a hundred people or so.

[Mary]

Okay. Yeah, it looks smaller. Okay.

[Gibson]

No, it was. It was like probably a hundred people, I would say.

[Mary]

And they didn't show it?

[Gibson]

No, no, no. I'd already seen it because I. We get the screeners. They didn't show it. Kyle and Lindsay gave a speech. There was a step and repeat. But that was kind of the only official acknowledgment. It was just sort of like a cocktail party on a Monday night. And Yeah, I. I had heard going in, like last week, I had heard, okay, we're not sure if Amanda's gonna be there. You know, I was asking around because I was really curious If I was going to space with. With her, with Mandy. And then I heard that day that. That she was going. And it's this thing where it's like, obviously, you know, there's a little bit of, like, okay, like, what's it gonna be like? But also, she deserves to be there because it's her show too, you know, And. And I was just more surprised because, like, of how many sort of prying eyes there are, and, like, everything she does is, of course, notable, and she doesn't go out that, you know, her and Wes were out and about for. For a little bit there. I feel like since then, they've been a little quieter in terms of stepping out publicly. So she. This is a. This is a big night. And she know. She knew people would be watching, and she was there.

[Mary]

Yeah. So how long did she stay?

[Gibson]

The whole time.

[Mary]

The whole time?

[Gibson]

I got there probably like 15 minutes after it started. And she was there already, or she got there maybe right after me, maybe. And she was there for as far as I can tell, like, through at least through Kyle's speech, I think, which was towards the end of the party.

[Mary]

Okay. And then who was she chatting with the most? I mean, I feel bad for the girl. It's like all eyes are on her. I thought she wore a fantastic outfit. Like, demure, mindful, you know, a black with polka dot. It was very intentional.

[Gibson]

Yeah. I mean, it was one of those things where you don't want to be, like, watching somebody all night either. But from what? Whenever, again, when it wasn't that big of a space. So whenever I laid eyes on her, she was either talking to Katie, her friend who's on the show, who's going to be a friend of the cast on in the City, Kyle. They spoke a good amount also, like a lot of producers and behind the scenes type people, they. They took a big cast photo and smaller cast photos, and she was in all those. And it's also one of those things where everybody else on the cast is cognizant of, like, everyone's watching this. This is all being videotaped. You know, you don't want to be, like, overtly mean. They got it out at the reunion. You know what I mean? Like, they totally, totally.

[Mary]

Now, did Lindsay and her cross paths or chat at all?

[Gibson]

I don't know how much they, like, necessarily chatted. They definitely were in, like, a girl's picture together at the very least. But. But Lindsay did say on Walter Happens Live that they had talked the last week, so. Yeah, they. They. She said they had a conversation. We don't know the nature of that conversation, but yeah, they've spoken for sure.

[Mary]

And so you were at this taping of Watch what Happens Live.

[Gibson]

Yes.

[Mary]

You seemed like you were like, in the green room.

[Gibson]

Yeah, Lindsay invited me and her friend Kate and Yvonne and Nick were there.

[Mary]

Oh, God. So you got invited by Lindsay.

[Gibson]

Yeah, Lindsay's. Lindsay has become a friend of mine over the years. I started interviewing Summer House people since before the show even aired season one. It was like, right around when my first job sort of in this space started. And since then, you know, it's. It's a weird thing, I think, if you're not in this world and maybe it's more enhanced in New York where, like, you run into these people more and you have more in person interactions with them. I think especially Summer House, because, like, I'm around the same age. I've, like, lived a similar lifestyle sometimes in summer to them. So just over the years, like, I've, you know, I know Kyle well, I know. I know Amanda well over the years, but Lindsay's somebody who, like, we've kind of gotten like. Like, especially close in the last, like, you know, three to five years. And yeah, it's been so she. I think it's all. That's also one of those things where, like, I think for all of them, especially right now, it's really hard to figure out who you can actually trust. And there's so much interest in this show and their stories and their lives. I mean, she's at a. A members club in New York City getting overheard talking about the reunion that it gets brought up to Dubois, like, they, like, can't talk. They, like, don't know how to talk in public without being overheard. And so I think there's like, an element to all of this where it's like, who can we. Who can I, like, talk to and, like, discuss this and, like, you know, analyze all this and stuff like that, that it won't get out there and it won't be repeated, and it's like a safe space. And I've. I've developed that kind of relationship with Lindsay kind of naturally over the years by spending time with each other. And so, yeah, we went. We went to dinner with a whole group after the premiere party. And then she, you know, I wasn't sure. I think she invited me on Tuesday, like on the day of the Watch Happens Live taping. She was like, just come. I'd never. I'd been there. No problem, right? I'd been there in the clubhouse. But I'd not done the sort of behind the scenes green room experience there, which is eye opening. Yeah.

[Mary]

Oh, wait, tell us.

[Gibson]

I mean, it's just like. It's like chaotic, like in an organ, in a pretty organized way. It's just. It's live television and so it's like. Because Watch Happens live doesn't t live all the time these days. Like a lot of them are pre taped and so there had been earlier pre tapes. They had put us in like a holding green room that was like not as nice. And so we were getting. She was getting ready there and there's like sort of this nervous excitement around all of it. And then we get moved to the official green room and Kyle shows up and he's like in a great mood and like, you know, there's some hair and wardrobe emergencies happening with Lindsay, but they have like in the next five minutes they have to film the Watcher Happens Live tiktoks and they always have to get edited and posted before they even go on air, which is in 30 minutes. And then it's just like the. There's all these things. The TV wasn't working, so we couldn't even watch the episode for a while. Like it was just like it was all happening basically. Just fascinating to watch it all go down, basically.

[Mary]

But horse like the behind the scenes.

[Gibson]

Yeah, beyond like that's. I really. I love that kind of stuff. And Lindsay and Kyle, like, they are the. They are such brother sister energy like to the. So fun and like they're two massive LEOs. And I say that as a Leo myself who like, they just get off on like the energy and the. The eyes on them and like it's just. It's fun to be around, to be honest. And it's kind of infectious.

[Mary]

Oh, completely. I can imagine. I could get caught up in that.

[Gibson]

I could imagine a live show of Watch what happens live with two guests who are not on that level. Not of that, you know, caliber energy. Yeah, exactly. That it wouldn't feel like that. So it felt like a really special night to be there. And they have both like, you know, they take pride in this show. They've built this show together with Carl and others and. And so like this is a huge night for them and it felt right, you know, they both had maybe a little bit too much champagne before going on, on. On screen, but that's okay.

[Mary]

I noticed it more with Kyle. I will say that he couldn't like form his sentences. He kind of kept going, going, going, but never getting to the point. It was enjoyable to watch, I will say. But. Okay. What are you most looking forward to within the city? I know, like, Lindsay has a lot riding on this. I feel like there is potential for Kyle to come back to Summer House, and I want to ask you about that as well. But what are you most looking forward to for in the city?

[Gibson]

I mean, there's so much. I personally am still compelled by the Kyle and Amanda stuff. I know that some people want to say they're over it. I don'. Believe them necessarily. There's still a lot there that I find to. I mean, watch that scene of them leaving. Leaving couples therapy and like, not be like, tell me you're not compelled by that. I'm sorry. Like, it's, it's, it's, it's fascinating. I don't even think it's too quote, unquote dark because Kyle always. Kyle always inevitably says something like intent, unintentionally funny in these scenes. You know, that really, I think, differentiates it from like, the Valley.

[Mary]

You know, he's like, you're wearing a rain jacket in the middle of summer. And she's genuine. She's like, I can't go and have drinks with our friends after I had this horrible time in therapy. You're not even trying. The one thing I'm asking of you is to come home after your DJ set. It ended at 2am yet you stayed out till 4am drinking with people. Like, he's not listening to her. I feel like I got a lot of flack this week because I am kind of like, watching it, not knowing the scandal happened. I'm trying to watch it that way and give her grace because it's like, yeah, this marriage. I'm super fascinated by the ending of this marriage and. And what's going to be the final straw. And I mean, her saying in that April pickup scene, like, you were making out with people when we were married. And he just goes like, okay. Shuts that down really quick. He isn't going to talk about the details of that because he knows. He's so lucky that this happened. He is so lucky because he would look like the worst. Horrible. He'd be like a Danny Boco, if you ask me. And because of this scandal, he's doing great.

[Gibson]

Totally. It is interesting to watch it with that lens in mind. And I think that I'm curious if the pendulum swings at all back in that direction. Like, right now, it's sort of like, summer house ended. We're sort of at peak, you know, anti west and Amanda, like, energy in the fandom right now and sort of pro Kyle and I. I think that in the city is not going to be the best look for him in terms of the breakdown of their marriage. And I'm so curious if that swings back or just sort of people look the other way. I don't know how it's going to go. I do think that it is a good thing to happen to Kyle, ultimately. He said on Wall Trappings Live, he was like, I'm busy next summer. I don't really know what, you know, what that truly means, but he did say that to me. The implication is like, he. I think there was an implication there, you know, that he would be, like, involved in Summer House a little bit, at least.

[Mary]

Who do you think will be in the Summer House Season 11? Because I know what you were saying. He was kind of like, well, tomorrow I'm gonna talk with west alluding to something and, like, I'm not gonna not film with someone. Who do you think is coming back for season 11 of Summer House?

[Gibson]

I think that the plan that they had going into in the city was probably thrown out the window in sequence because of west and Amanda and who will and won't film with them. So that's why it felt like a series finale. Because I think the part of the goodbye wasn't just goodbye for the summer. It was, you're not going to be on this show next season. You're going to be on this season now.

[Mary]

And I wish they would have broken the fourth wall. And, like, Lindsay, Carl, Amanda and Kyle kind of came together as the OGs at the end. And we had, like, this montage of, like, them ending it because, I mean, we're smart. Bravo. Bravo fanatics. You know, you can't. You can't get anything past.

[Gibson]

No, no.

[Mary]

And I also acknowledge that a bit.

[Gibson]

I think so, too. I actually thought about that. I was like, you know, in the Kyle and Amanda conversation, which was so, like, intense and heavy and emotional. They had some flashbacks in that, but I was like, you know, Carl and Lindsay didn't really get any flashback for themselves in terms of how much. How far they've come on this show. I agree with that. But in terms of season 11, I think the big question is still Sierra. I don't know where that stands. I've heard many things about. In either direction. I know. Feel like if they pay her enough, she would. It would potentially work. You know what I mean?

[Mary]

Of course. But she's booked. And Missy.

[Gibson]

I know, I know. It's like the idea of her doing after sun and then Summer House and then Dancing with the Stars all in like a five month span. That is a crazy schedule. Yeah.

[Mary]

And that's overlapping and Dancing with the Stars is exhausting. I have a feeling she is not gonna come back. That's just like my gut. But I think it's gonna be Jesse West, Kyle, Amanda. I'd like to see. I do. I think they should do it. I think they should throw him in there for a couple weekends at least. Maybe not a full time cast member, but we need to kind of, you know, flesh out this story.

[Gibson]

I mean, listen, of course I would watch it. I'm not one of those people ever, ever, you know.

[Mary]

But if Tom Sandoval came back, you don't think Wes could come back.

[Gibson]

But it's different living under the same house, under the same roof as somebody. And I don't. If Sierra does not come back, they still want KJ and Mia and those people there, are they going to feel like. And yeah, Dara for sure. Bailey I think should come back.

[Mary]

What about Carl?

[Gibson]

It's hard because to me he's like him and Lindsay are the two that like feel like they have outgrown that lifestyle the most and that and that stage of life way more than Kyle even. And like he's not on in the City. And so like Carl just had his best season of Summer House ever, I think. But at the same time and he's not in the city, which I think he should be as at least a friend or something on there. I don't really see him in Summer House anymore though. I think that he's somebody that if the fans maybe demand it enough and they, they re they see that appetite for Carl back on tv, give him a more of a role in season two of in the City. And I don't think he should be on on Summer House in any more than like a guest capacity this season. It doesn't really make sense to me.

[Mary]

Agreed. I could see him on season two in this city. I feel like Lindsay is liking this developing relationship again. The fandom's liking it.

[Gibson]

Yeah. I think that they should be a Madison Austin kind of vibe. People who want them to get back together. Let the mouse go. They're not getting back together. But I think that they have unlocked this dynamic where she can give him shit. He has a good sense of humor about it. He can like take it, you know, that. That's kind of a fun dynamic for them to have. And I think that to see that Would be really, like, kind of heartwarming for fans.

[Mary]

Jk. I know. I don't get. I don't really get how she's denying it. Like, maybe there's a. Is there a technicality in there somewhere? You know what I mean? I don't know. But, like, she was, like.

Like, can we roll footage? I don't really. I don't. I'm not gonna go back and watch my. But I'm team Lindsay on this. I. I feel like they've brought Danielle back to Bravo in the City, slash of Summer House, to kind of feud with Lindsay and to sort of rehash this situation. And I. I'm not, like, against her being there by any means, but, like, she has kind of a tall mountain to climb to, like, kind of. I think a lot of people are not on Team Danielle right now.

[Mary]

It doesn't sound like it. I don't mind Danielle. I honestly find it hysterical that in real time, they're fighting over this. H.J. and Danielle. Danielle is, like, pregnant. There's just, like, something about her being pregnant, fighting about it that makes it even funnier. I am a little bit worried because it seems like everyone kind of goes after Lindsay in the end, and I'm like, is she gonna turn out the villain in this city? Because it does really feel like her show.

[Gibson]

I don't think there will be one villain. I think that Kyle will be probably a villain, because I think there's gonna be a lot of Kyle and Amanda, and I think that it's gonna be pretty, like, supportive of Amanda, at least from the girls. I think that Kenny is going to be a villain. I think Kenny is gonna, like, be kind of a big figure on this show, and he's not afraid to go at the women, which is. We'll see how the fandom reacts to that. Let's just say that. And then, you know what? Lindsay. I think the thing about Lindsay is that she's kind of an easy target at this point for people. And I think that she. She's at once the connector for this group, which means she's sort of helped probably cast everybody and bring everybody in and recommended people. But then also, she's the person, you know, when people come into Housewives or they come into another show, oftentimes the person that they Criticize and feud with first is the person they almost know the best because that's sort of like their easiest way in and the easiest. The place where they feel the most comfortable. And so I think that's kind of like almost backfires on the central person sometimes. I think that could, that could happen for Lindsay temporarily on this show, but I think that that will just endear the audience to her if they're all going after her, you know, if she's also the one that brought them in.

[Mary]

I could be a flip flopper with Lindsay. I love my Carlito so much, so I kind of get my blinders on.

[Gibson]

Totally.

But I do root for Lindsay. I really want her to be successful. I think she's like the most amazing reality star. I want to see her on the trailers. Yeah. So I absolutely adore her. Any final thoughts on Summer house or in the City that you need to get off your chest?

I mean, I mean, I could talk about this for three hours, Mary. So

I'm feeling good about it. Like, I think the idea that we're like, be gonna continue following this, you know, extended story for three more months because of in the City and the reunion, it's like, it's both like electrifying but also exhausting. And that's sort of emblematic of the Bravo experience overall sometimes. And I'm good with it. You know, it's like again, I'm not tired of the Kyle and Amanda portion. I'm watching Southern Hospitality. I've not watched this week's episode, but I am watching Southern Hospitality.

Yeah, do you think Emmy will come back next season?

I kind of don't. I guess. I guess it. I kind. I guess it kind of depends on the reunion a little bit. And I think that they're all kind of, or at least her side of the group, which I can't even believe she has like a side of the group, to be honest, at this point. I know people are sort of pushing the idea that she's taking accountability at the reunion, and to me, it's just going to take so much convincing for me to believe that. It's like not too little, too Late from her. You know, she has been given 6, 7, 8 chances to write this thing with Brad and to understand or to show a willingness to understand even. And she hasn't shown any of that during filming. And it's just all about her. And I think that the audience is so tired of it and completely. And it's not like we're just talking about her, you know, being messy or whatever. Like, she's. She's saying, like, dangerous things about Brad and. And that could really, like, harm his reputation in a big way. I don't. I don't need. I don't need Emmy back on the show. But she's really served a good purpose for this show, I would say. Or served a purpose. Yeah.

What about you?

[Mary]

I think her story's over and they should cut ties.

[Gibson]

It's also, like, so clear that Will is, like, controlling her from behind the scenes and telling her what to say, like, and he's not on the show and it's just like, really, I think, lame behavior for him to, you know, skip the reunion. Last year she has to answer for his crimes, and now he's basically. She's basically like his puppet on this show. You know, you can tell she's calling him after every scene. What should I say? This is what they're saying. And it's like he's basically ghost producing Southern hospitality, I think. And, like, I'm just, like, not here for that at all.

[Mary]

I completely agree with you. He's a coward. But I think they can both go. Atlanta, what do you think about K. Michelle? Are the girls plotting against her or is she paranoid?

[Gibson]

I think she's being paranoid. I think for somebody who has so much reality TV experience, I'm really confused as to why she's not, like, understanding how this works. And I think she's kind of picking the wrong team. She's kind of hitching her wagon to

[Mary]

the wrong horse, which is like Shamia and Kelly.

[Gibson]

Yes. I was really excited for Kim Michelle. I don't think it's like, you know, a foregone conclusion or whatever, but she's not. I'm not as excited by her now than I was in the first couple episodes, to be honest. And she said everything on her confessionals and on Twitter and interviews and nothing to the group's face. And that's what really bugs me.

[Mary]

I know. I thought she was going to be fantastic and confrontational, but she feels very paranoid and. Which makes me feel like she's hiding something else. I don't know.

[Gibson]

I. I kind of feel like she came in wanting beef with Portia. Kind of like we were just talking about with Lindsay. Portia is an easy target. She's the biggest star on the show. She, you know, she's easy to criticize as well. But like, I don't know, it kind of feels like she wants an issue with Portia and she's kind of making it up. And like, even the whole thing about, you know, what. What Portia said about, you know, K. Michelle's like, health issues and like her. Her butt leaking or whatever it was, you know, I don't think that Portia meant that and I don't think it was ill intentioned. I just think that. But I think that K. Michelle's having this, like, intentionally bad faith. Read about Portia.

[Mary]

Personally, I think that K. Michelle is upset because her and Portia talked off camera and she knew it wasn't a miscarriage. So she's like, you literally knew it's not a miscarriage. I told you what happened because we talked before we filmed. So why are you saying that on camera? That's what I think that's valid.

[Gibson]

But I just think that Kay is being. She's definitely being paranoid, to use your word. Like it's. There's something off.

[Mary]

Yeah, I. I agree with that. But I'm sat and seated for Atlanta. It's been a good season so far.

[Gibson]

The Dallas trip was really good.

[Mary]

It gave me, like, the Potomac, Colorado vibes. Like, why are we staying 90 minutes from location? Okay, now we are here today to talk about Rhode Island. They dropped the reunion seating chart. Can I tell it to you?

That's kind of my joke always. Okay, Andy in the center and then to his left, Liz. Then we have Rula, Rosie, Ashley, I on the end. On the other side, we have next, Andy, Alicia, Jo, Ellen, and Kelsey. What are your thoughts?

[Gibson]

Okay, in my. My first instinct is that feels pretty correct. I think I'm surprised that Kelsey is on the side of Joellen and Alicia and not on the side of Rula and Liz because I feel like Kelsey and Liz are kind of like big sister little sister vibes. They're really close.

[Mary]

Yeah.

[Gibson]

And I feel like right now in the season we're seeing sort of Alicia and Joellen stick up for Rosie. So I'm curious what changes there.

[Mary]

Right.

[Gibson]

But it feels like, you know, having having Liz and Alicia at the top feels right to me. Even though Jo Ellen, I think, is secretly the queen of the show. I think it might take a little bit of time to really cement that for her.

[Mary]

I'm so excited for Alicia because I think nobody has taken her seriously and she's getting, like, such a warm welcome from the Bravo universe. I'm surprised Jo Ellen wasn't first seat and I think if Rula had filmed more, it could have been Joellen and Rula at the first seat, but she doesn't participate in groups, so they were like, putting her second chair. I also feel like Liz is like, supposedly the matriarch and such, but I wonder if the filming is like, not going as she planned. I think she thought it was going to be a little bit different than it. It's panning out and I. I think she thought she'd be like the top dog. And I don't know if she is.

[Gibson]

I think she's not as untouchable as maybe she. We sense she was. That she sent. She was like, there's, you know, she's already had, you know, claims made about her own marriage, you know, and like, that's usually not the top dogs first season. And I kind of like that it's more of an even playing field than we initially suspected with her because she. You're absolutely right. She gives off that energy and yeah,

[Mary]

she thought she was the hbic and I don't know if she is also. What are your thoughts on Ashley? I. I mean, she's at the end here. Do you think she'll be back for season two?

[Gibson]

I think she should be back. I think that Ashley. A couple things. One is, I really like her role on the show, which is an outsider who is really kind of like the. She's not as funny as a Greek chorus usually should be in terms of, like, reflecting what the audience thinks. But she does have that perspective of like, oh, my God, like, all these women are crazy. Like, this is not my. I'm not somebody who's been with them since kindergarten. I'm new here. And I think, yeah, she's the normie. And I think that that's actually really important for a cast like this where there are so many larger than life personalities. And I think that the other thing I'll say about Ashley is that she was used to a certain kind of reality TV filming that this is very much different from. And I think that to give her like a season to really find her renewed footing in this space is important. And I think, like, I really like her as a person and I think that she could be more confident here in A season.

[Mary]

She's very confident in her confessionals. And the women have talked about that, how she didn't really bring that to the screen. So that's gonna be interest. You know, the reunion has been filmed. I'm. I'm really excited to see it. But let's. Let's get back to where the action is. So this is post slam pig fight. This episode is called questional behavior. So we. We leave the scene of the crime. Rosie is saging her house. Kelsey immediately calls Liz. And Liz is like, how's the haircut? And Kelsey is like. She says all this shit like, you know what? I've only slept with 6 guys my entire life. And you know what she has done? She has that basketball coach and the person she had the old job with. She ruined their marriage. And that's how she has this new house. And I just like, holy shit, these girls are so messy. Are you feeling bad for Rosie? Are you Team Kelsey? Where do you lie with that?

[Gibson]

In the fight last week, I was definitely team Rosie. Like, I felt like, you know, she kind of ate Kelsey up. Kelsey came in swinging with the siren or whatever it was and couldn't really back it up. And, you know, Rosie's better at fighting like that.

[Mary]

Kelsey didn't even talk during the fight. She didn't know what to do. She was really caught off guard, I think. And I think Rosie, like, total, like, slam pig, you know, when they're googling slam pig at the table. I was dying.

[Gibson]

And no, I. I actually like Kelsey. Think about this cast. I like most these women. So I think Kelsey and Rosie, I'm team Rosie. But, like, I really also kind of like Kelsey's energy too, sometimes. And, like, I like that she's just kind of like spilling the fucking tea on Rosie and her confessional, you know, calling out the bs.

[Mary]

And she's been very forthcoming about that relationship. Except the timeline. Yeah, I keep hearing that. The timeline is two years ago. And then I'm like, watching. I'm like, yeah, you're going on a triple date with Billi. Like, how long have you been dating Billie? It feels very unbelievable. What do you think about her letting her boyfriend pay for. For her apartment? Are you okay with that?

[Gibson]

I mean, if my ex boyfriend wanted to pay for. If my ex boyfriend wanted to pay for my apartment rent, the rent is too damn high. So, like, cut me that check, you know, give me that direct deposit. I don't. I don't judge her. It's expensive out here. And she's. And she's Building a business, you know?

[Mary]

Yeah.

She said it's not gonna last forever, so, like, just take. Take the dough while you can.

Right. I mean, she did 10 years with him, so it's not like she has to go over there and give him a blow job every week.

She skips the winery. She skipped the winery. She skipped the mansions. She's. She was at polo. She ended up attending polo.

[Mary]

Yeah, that's. That is true.

[Gibson]

Was she at the riding thing? I think she was.

[Mary]

Yeah. No, no, no, she was. Remember, she was drinking a ton in the back. She was at that. Yeah.

[Gibson]

Did you ever watch real Housewives of D.C. yes. She. They remind me, her and her husband, of the Slahis. The. The White House party crashers.

[Mary]

Yes.

There's something about them and sort of the. The facade they're trying to hold up. The Slahis memorably also skipped a lot of filming events. There was something weird, and it creates this really, like, distinct, awkward kind of dynamic with the rest of the cast. Sometimes. I think Rula's may be a little bit more, you know, folded in than they were, but there's something that, like, they are in on it together, and I don't really know what the end goal is, but, like, there's. I don't trust, like, anything they're saying. Rula and her husband.

[Mary]

It's so strange. I mean, honestly, I loved Brian after two tequila shots the other week. Like, that gave me joy. But, I mean, his mistress has been on our page. She commented on Jo Ellen. We interviewed Jo Ellen, and we posted a clip, and the mistress is in the comments. She's like, no, I don't want to be on the show. Because we asked Jo Ellen.

[Gibson]

I don't believe that.

It's so. Something is very strange, and she owns part of their business, but I think you're on to something there, like, who's conning who? You know what I mean? I don't know. Something weird.

But then I thought it was really interesting that they ran into Joellen's neighbor. And I was like. Was this, like, a setup?

[Gibson]

They just ran into her. I Mean, the, the.

It. The timing, there's no way it was a coincidence. But the. The neighbor, Joel's neighbor who came in and she was like, oh, I'm just out here pontooning or whatever she said she was doing. I was like, you' actress. I was like, this is. This is good pretend, because there's no way that wasn't a setup.

I do feel bad for Rola. Like, she's, you know, kind of talking to Alicia, and she's like, he used to kiss the ground I walked on. And I'm just like, I can't believe I'm in this position right now. We've been together for 12 years. So I felt bad for her in that moment, but also her giving financial advice to Alicia, and Alicia saying, yeah, I've been putting a, you know, $10 a week away. I'm like, God, I love that one so much.

Oh, my God, I love her so much. And I'm just like, I need her to talk to an actual, like, financial advisor. I know.

And that's like a big. There's a. To be a big asterisk on that. But, like, I don't know. I think that he really loves Alicia and like, Alicia. Alicia's such a specific big personality. And he seems to really, like, love that about her and celebrate that. And I think that I. I think that she hasn't voiced this at all before. That's kind of what my read on it is. And now she feels really emboldened by being on this show and the other women, you know, gassing her up. And now she's finally speaking up and he's like, yeah, okay, I'll. I'll give you 10 or whatever it was like, I don't believe he's a bad guy. I don't.

I was on Team Rosie in the fight when it happened, but Kelsey was. It was a mean spirited joke, but it was a joke. What she was doing with the siren and whatever it was, Rosie is taking it very seriously. Seriously. And clearly that's. I bet you it's a. Out of true hurt and like, wanting to be accepted by her, but ultimately, like, she's just gotta laugh it off. She's giving Rose, she's giving Kelsey exactly what she wants, which is a reaction and a storm out. And, you know, she. She has to realize, like, laugh it off, just don't.

Yeah, no, there was something, though, about her coming into her home, and I think Rosie thought she was doing her a favor and she's like, you're gonna make fun of me at my own house? And I. And I think Rosie's just like, at this point, like, these girls are never going to accept me. And she's like, I don't think this is funny. Like, I think you guys are fucking stupid and you trying to like, ice me out and make me look like a bad guy and trying to like, reveal all my secrets when I think also this really comes back to that, like, beach fight. The original beach fight. Because she was trying.

The timeline of her relationship with. Which is also just going to come out of the reunion.

Totally. But yeah, but it's like, Rosie, I. I totally agree. I also think that it's like, Rosie, they're trying to ice you out. Don't leave. Don't storm out. You know what I mean? Like, like really stand your ground.

It feels so Old Housewives. I. They have done the best job with this show. I'm just so obsessed.

It has that suburban element to it, that Jersey always like, kind of owned, I felt. And yes. Like, no, this is, this is like a family trivia night at the local non chain coffee shop. Like, it's so unglamorous. But I love that about it.

Okay, so Jo Ellen, she makes this beautiful charcuterie board and she's like, I'm not gonna waste this. We're bringing this car, this board in the car. Guys, they're. They are dropping. Strawberries are flying. The girls are like trading seats. It's chaotic. Kelsey wasn't invited. She doesn't want to go. Alicia and Liz have, like, a pretty big moment in this car. So the whole thing is that Liz didn't like that Alicia said she was homeless. In Alicia's mind, she's like, I was homeless. We had to live with our grandparents. Like, my home was taken away from me. And. And it's so weird that Liz, like, doesn't want to let this go. And I felt so bad for Alicia in this moment. She's like, literally, our home was taken away. You can't judge me. And I don't want to be a victim, but this feels so weird. And I just couldn't be more Team Alicia. And I feel like Liz in this moment, she is like, like pissed. I feel like she's like, the girls are not obeying me. That is not what I said. I was trying to protect your family. And then she is pissed at Joellen because Joellen's like, been a flip flopper since they went to the restaurant. And Gary also, like, was like, well, she was never homeless, but I thought Joellen was doing a great job trying to, like, mediate the situation, but it's like, next week looks insane. Liz is gonna lose it. I feel like the mask is coming off the crown.

I feel like, like definitely team Alicia in this. Even though, like, I get Liz's point, which is like, you're basically kind of. You're using the word homeless in a way that other people are going to interpret it and it, they're going to interpret it differently than how you kind of intend it to completely be interpreted. I understand that. At the same time, I think that Liz, I don't understand why she cares so much and she's being really harsh to Alicia about it. And I agree that it's more of a perception thing for her. Her and why she's. That's why she's sort of mad. And the Joellen portion, I'm like, I don't even know if Joel was flip flopping that much on this. I think that she agreed with Liz at the dinner that she was mis, misrepresenting because she was misusing the word. But in the moment, she's not saying, oh, yeah, Alicia, you're right. She's more making space for her feelings. Yeah, exactly. And like, she's a mediator. I don't think that she was saying that Liz was so wrong. She was sort of like, drop it. Like, like Alicia is, is emotional about this. And it's a. You know, I have childhood trauma that I can relate to with her. This feels like, you know, we talked about the reunion seating at the top of this conversation. Mary. This feels like the start of that divide that we see.

Separating them on the couches, because up until now they've been kind of like the, the, the main ones who have these long standing connections. And this is, is, this is maybe gonna start that divide completely.

And I also, I just feel like the Whole, like, Dino situation was quite strange. I feel like more things are gonna come out about Liz. I think these girls are gonna be brutal to each other at the reunion. They don't seem to hold things back. I think there's gonna be folders, there's gonna be evidence, there's gonna be restraints. Proof, screenshots, timeline, and crackers. Where is her Nabisco deal?

No. Literally, give her a fucking Frisket brand deal. Exactly. I don't understand, like, it's coming. We know it's coming.

I mean, Summer House is really, like, the time. Everything I think about these days, I feel like the Love Island's coming up, which I'm like. Like, last season was my first season of Love island, and I am already kind of, like, nervous for keeping up with it, you know? It's like. So I don't watch. No, I think it's, like, I enjoy it, and I loved being part of the conversation last year, and I'm gonna watch this summer. But I'm also. There's, like, a part of me that's dreading it because it's just like, there's so much happening on Bravo. It's overlapping with Summer House. It's overlapping with other things.

No, I can't commit to it every night.

It's really hard. It's really. I don't know how people. I was texting with a friend earlier who was like, oh, can't wait for. For Double Duty Love island coming up, UK and usa. I was like, girl, you're. You're barking up the wrong tree. You think I have time to watch two shows that are every single night for six weeks? Get real.

I don't know how people do it way too much. I just. I can't get invested. Also, I just found the challenges coming quite. Quite strange.
