Telluride was the best. We one upped ourselves with my Sapphire Preferred card and with five times points on Chase Travel plus three times points on vacation homes with top brands, we got this incredible cabin. Mary
Welcome back to two Judgy Girls. This is Mary from the Bay and
Courtney
it's Courtney from la. And I will tell you I had like a big night of TV last night.
Mary
Okay, what did you get into?
Courtney
Well, I had to catch up. I hadn't watched in the city yet. Obviously I had to watch the Valley. Also, Las Culturistas was on last night too. Exciting stuff because Sierra, she won the Allison Williams cool girl award, which I believe is what Paige won last year.
Mary
Oh, okay.
Courtney
And then Mia from Summer House won Best vibe. And so just seeing the two of them, I'm like, they're the future.
Mary
Mia is so cute. She linked her Uber driver. She's just like funny. She gets it.
Courtney
I feel like that was pre written. I don't think that actually happened. I think that was just a silly speech that they had writers do for her.
Mary
Oh, I. I thought it was her telling a joke. You think they have like a teleprompter for them to read their speech?
Courtney
Yes. All those awards are pre picked. What do you think they have already told the winners? The winners are going to be there.
Mary
That they'll not even surpr.
Courtney
No, I don't believe so at all. I think that's why they're there.
Mary
Oh, okay.
Courtney
Yeah, it's not like the Oscars, unfortunately.
Mary
Got it, got it, got it, got it.
Courtney
But they're still very cool. Paige and Hannah were there. Bronwyn was there. A lot of Bravo liberties and then some stars. It's kind of crazy because obviously Bowen was on Saturday Night Live. So you have like a lot of SNL alums and comedians. And then they've been doing that show. I think this is their fifth year doing it, but second year televised. So then they also have like all these like inside jokes. Sometimes it feel a really big inside joke that I'm not a part of and I hope to be a part of an inside joke one day. But still fun.
Mary
Yes. We had on Lex Nico and she had gone to it, so she kind of was able to give us a little rundown and she was obsessed with this Mandy Moore moment.
Courtney
Oh, okay. If you guys are A Walk to Remember fans. She sang Only Hope and I Lift My Hand. Sorry. It's just such a.
Mary
So I wasn't A Walk to Remember girly. However, I did meet Mandy Moore at the NSYNC concert because she was opening for them and she had, like, a booth. It was really before she was put on the map. And I'll never forget, she had an incredible amount of blush. Like, an insane, sane amount. And I just, like, remember being in seventh grade and thinking, wow, that girl wears a ton of blush.
Courtney
Stage makeup.
Mary
Yes, it really was stage makeup.
Courtney
Remember that song Candy? Like Candy was a bomb.
Mary
Missing you who like candy.
Courtney
She had the VW bug in the video Green.
Mary
I believe it was a lime green.
Courtney
Oh, yes. Little did we know the product placement at that point. Now we're just so much older. We can understand product placement. But at the time, she's so cool.
Mary
So cool.
Courtney
Is she. Of all the pop girls now of that time, let's say, like, Britney Christina, Mandy, Jessica. She's probably the biggest one of still having a career right now. This is us.
Mary
I think Jessica Simpson is making a comeback. You know, she was recently at Great and Casino.
Courtney
Wait, sorry, what did you just say right there? Where was she at?
Mary
I think right now she's doing small, tiny tours to experiment. And then potentially there could be a bigger possibility.
Courtney
She's got to go on tour with Ashley.
Mary
Oh, I. I would die.
Courtney
I know. I think it's a missed opportunity. The Simpsons on the road.
Podcast Host/Advertiser
Get it going.
Courtney
Girls love it. Oh, my God, me too. And I would pay almost a hundred dollars to see that.
Mary
I believe Jessica Simpson's ticket prices were about 150.
Courtney
That's too much. Sorry.
Mary
Comes from the girl that spent a couple grand to go to Coachella.
Chase Sapphire Preferred Cardholder
Yeah.
Courtney
Where I saw, like, 30 plus acts.
Mary
Okay, well, then it. That would be divided by. So Jessica Simpson. I think I would pay well if it had Ashley.
Courtney
200 for a front row. Like, where are you sitting with that 200 that you're paying?
Mary
Oh, I don't even have to be that close, to be honest.
Paige Desorbo
Okay.
Mary
I'm a big Ashley girly.
Courtney
Oh, I know. Autobiography is your autobiography. Anyways, it was a moment to have Mandy Moore there. And then, though, it didn't even win record of the year, which bummed me out because I'm like, Mandy's literally there. You should just give it to her. That is the record of the year, even if it's from 2002.
Mary
What what won the record of the year?
Courtney
All the things she said by tattoo. You know, heated rivalry. There's so going on. Because we've got to talk about Lindsay on Gavin with Gibb. Give me the deets.
Mary
Well, I just saw a little clip and she says last summer was supposed to be this transitional summer, but alludes to this is the transitional summer because of the scandal. So that makes me feel good. It feels like Lindsay's gonna be making some cameos. I think Kyle will be a permanent fixture. It seems like maybe Carl as well. Couple more weeks and we'll find out.
Courtney
I mean, it feels like that's what we have been thinking would happen is that season 11 will now be the final season. Kind of a do over, if you will. And I'm here for it.
Mary
Yes. Signed up.
Courtney
I also wonder too if they will incorporate. Obviously we have in the city, but I wonder if they will incorporate more city scenes too. There was this Variety article. An SVP was interviewed and he was saying Sierra is the future. Like we are wanting Sierra to be the future of that show of Summer House. Yeah. Saying she has star power. Like they would love for her to be the anchor of this new version.
Mary
It seems like, oh, that's interesting to me because I think she's gonna phase out.
Courtney
I don't know. If they want to put all their eggs in their Sierra basket, then that sounds like she's got a lot of power, which to me is. Then Amanda's definitely not returning. And I don't.
Mary
We don't want her there.
Courtney
We don't want her there. It's okay.
Mary
I would be shocked if Amanda makes it to the summer House.
Courtney
I don't think anyone's looking for her there. I think if there's anything for her, it's definitely on the city. Especially as we talked about the other day too, is like with west, if that relationship's still going, I think there's interest to see what's happening with it. But as far as Summer house, summer should be fun. Amanda not fun. We've all been saying that quote for years.
Mary
Yes. Yes.
Sponsor Voice/Advertiser
Yeah.
Courtney
Okay, tell me about this Cy and Carol thing.
Mary
I just like read a highlight that Cy and Carol feuding because psy mentions that Carol is in the Epstein files. That is the only thing I saw. I did not do any research on it, but do you think that will make it to camera?
Courtney
No.
Mary
Really? Now? Why?
Courtney
I feel like they're trying to drum up some interest of the show and it's like, honestly, if everyone tells you, you're dead. It's time to lie down. TM Heather debrow. We don't need Roni. That's rough to say, I know, but it's like the first season of the reboot didn't really work. The second season didn't work. We're really trying to save ship. And I'm like, hello, Miami. Just put the money towards Miami. We have New York shows. We have in the city. Summer House is technically a New York show. We have Next gen. We have New York shows. And I think it's okay if we let Roni go.
Mary
Wouldn't it be wild if the Legacy Roni and Roni was airing at the same time?
Courtney
Oh, and the Golden Life got better
Mary
viewership, and that would definitely happen.
Courtney
Honestly, E should take that because now that they're not even under the same network. Also, speaking of, there was a brief clip of the 20th anniversary. Rehook it.
Mary
I saw that.
Danielle Fishel
Okay.
Courtney
Exciting.
Sponsor Voice/Advertiser
I know.
Mary
I don't like when they do the silly promos. I want to see the trailer.
Courtney
Okay. They want to tease you where you tease. You don't like being teased is what we're realizing.
Mary
I guess I would want it in more of a creative way. It was just the girls dancing. I would like more or like a nostalgic how they used to do, like, Remember that Britney Spears one where it was like, I I wanna go, go suburb. Something like that. They needed to bring it back to maybe like an older version of it. Otherwise, it was just the girls dancing in sequence. Yeah.
Courtney
I think I'm just excited for it.
Mary
Oh, that didn't excite me.
Courtney
Standards are too high. We're demanding too much. I'm just excited because it's like the nostalgia of 20 years of housewife. And it always makes me giggle when I see the crossover of franchises because it's like, you know, you got your Marvel Cinematic Universe and you've got the Avengers where they all come together and these rehook its are our Avengers movies.
Mary
I am really curious how Lisa Barlow will mesh with the group because she won't have to defend herself.
Courtney
She's gonna have the best time. I already know it.
Mary
I'm so curious.
Courtney
And you know what? At that last party, she already has Baby Gorgeous and she's gonna be performing it. You're just Baby Gorgeous now. I don't actually believe that, but I would love that. I also don't expect expect to have from the main cast itself that much drama. I expect it to be more of an excitement of celebrating all these franchises and that then when they Visit all the franchises. The other housewives are the ones who are going to be starting the drama. I feel like the core cast is just going to be enjoying themselves. To me also, it's like I was picked to be the representative of my franchise. I don't want to do too much to sully the name, if you will. So when we go visit them, they can do all of that. And then I could just travel and continue to go to the next one. It's almost like a Through the Looking Glass.
Mary
I completely agree with you. I mean, we had already heard that in Miami there was some drama between the women. And I think at Bluestone Manor there's some other drama amongst other franchises. Yes. Yeah.
Courtney
So I think that's where like the drama will come in. But I expect the core cast to all be hanging out and enjoying themselves and I want that for them too. Sometimes it feels very stressful, like watching these. I don't always need for there to be conflict. Some of the most fun parts is like when they're all getting along in the city. This week I thought it was so fun watching them all on the trolley together until it went to hell.
Mary
I just want to party with these people. Yeah, I want to see them have parties and have fun and let's take a break and get into it.

Mary
What grade would you give in the city so far?
Courtney
So I'm actually enjoying in the city. I think having the comparison to Summer House is actually hurting in the city which is why I think, like, Lynn, Lindsay and Kyle are doing so much behind the scenes work. Threading about it, pushing it. Bravo is doing that too, because it's not as dramatic as it is. And some people are like, I don't want to see their marriage. I don't want to see this. Or they hate Amanda that much. I'm enjoying it. I thought it was fun. I'm giving it a solid B. I
Mary
would give it a B minus. I will definitely watch a second season. I. I think people need to realize too, it's filmed extremely differently. Think about Summer House. They have over 48 hours of straight film at least every weekend. This is not as much content. You know, they're going to a baby influencer brunch. That is what, an hour?
Courtney
Yeah.
Mary
I mean, the trolley ride, that was probably, I would assume, six to eight hours of filming. That whole day, that experience. Yvonne, Nick, and Danielle going to brunch, what, two hours, three hours?
Courtney
It's like a regular reality show now. We're a vanderpump. We're a valley. We are just. We're any of the housewives. We're not just live feeds anymore. We are just watching them in their lives.
Mary
Yes. So it's very different the way that it's filmed and how the story transpires. Yeah.
Courtney
And I'm still interested watching Kyle and Amanda and the disintegration of that and also just the dynamics of them and figuring out too, like, you are doing a little bit of the FBI work too, of like, oh, okay. She's, like, definitely checked out or like, he's checked out. That's still interesting to me. I am interested with this Danielle storyline. I find that fascinating watching her and Lindsay battle this friendship. And should we, shouldn't we? Kenny's dad's storyline is actually very interesting to me. It's tough, though, because I'm like, we've introduced him as such a villain and now we're trying to humanize him a little bit. So that is a little drastic. But I want to watch what goes on with that too.
Mary
I love Kenny. I'm super invested in this storyline. I think he's a great villain. I think he's interesting to watch. He's good reality tv. And I can't say that about the entire cast.
Courtney
Like who?
Mary
I just feel like Lexi and Andrea, it's not really hitting. I want to warm up more to Yvonne. I think her voice is funny. She has good comedic timing and she doesn't know it, but I feel like it's been hard to get to know
Courtney
everyone, because we have the cloud of chi manda that it does obviously change the story lines a little bit, but, like, Georgina. Georgina, you guys, is a star.
Mary
Yes.
Courtney
I need her to go off because I know the crazy's there. I need to see it. We keep introducing Katie DeLuca as this tertiary character who's had maybe one scene on the show, but is really contributing a lot in name. I know Yvonne and Nick, I really like them too. Lexi and Andrea, it's like they're just there to be hot people. Andrea has been cast on the show to remind us how hot he is and how many abs he has, and that, to me, is okay.
Mary
And you can get abs from drinking
Courtney
Lover boy, which is why I've ordered a six pack. I'm sorry the coffee hasn't hit this morning yet, but I think outside of that, it's like, there's enough drama that's going on. I'm interested.
Mary
Okay. What do you think about this Danielle situation? Do you think there was overlap?
Courtney
She's taking this really harsh. So I do think that there is some kernel of truth to it. I don't know what, though. Obviously they got together when he's still married. Were they officially separated? I don't know. And I don't know why. I just assumed that he and his wife lived in Ireland because of his accent. And then it's like, oh, they lived in New York. And then I'm like, well, I have to remember, he was a Cal tennis player and now he's a hotelier. I'm trying to read these lower thirds. Lindsay's not just an influencer, she's a milf. And Gemma's mom, she can do more than one thing. But I think that there is some gray area of how they got together. What do you think?
Mary
Okay. I'm not sure about that. I think it's interesting that rumor got started. Who started that rumor? It got picked up, it got published. I love that they give this light like that. It's in a group text. I love that they're in the mess. They are reading Dumois, and I think that's how they get information themselves, which I find fascinating.
Courtney
Oh, and Reddit. The Reddit thread is the one that is like, oh, this is wild.
Mary
Yes.
Courtney
Yes. I'm like, which sub was that on?
Mary
I know, I know. Okay. With Danielle getting off the trolley and she started crying, and then I noticed she had her body back to the camera.
Courtney
Okay.
Mary
So I questioned if she was faking the tears.
Courtney
I think they were so Wasted at the end of that trolley ride that it was like, almost an overreaction, that she was just so drunk. Like, they're so drunk at this point. Because if we go with your timeline of six to eight hours on this trolley, on this filming, they are consuming a lot of lover boys at every bar that they're going into to try to sell lover boy they're taking shots at.
Mary
Right. I don't know. There was something about me that questioned the authenticity of the tears, and I just really noticed she had her back to the camera.
Courtney
So do you think she's perpetuating this rumor then, or do you think she's trying to be more victimized or what do you think?
Mary
Maybe victimized. And I. Maybe she's like, well, this is my storyline. I guess I'm gonna fall in line to it.
Courtney
Is this the storyline you want, though? I don't think I want this storyline. I think the storyline I want is, like, I thought it was just me and Lindsay. That was the storyline. I don't think I want to be the home wrecker or have this homewrecker rumor.
Mary
But she knows it's gonna air, so now she kind of has to lean into it and pull out the tears and be sad about it and, you know, tell everyone it's not true.
Courtney
Well, the funny part is, too, is, like, Amanda leading the charge on this because, like, lol of where we are now. Oh, Danielle, he's married, babe. So are you. And now I think you're realizing that, hey, you can still be legally married, but separated or done with your relationship, and it's paperwork. And maybe that is what Danielle's situation is too. But you're pushing this so hard because maybe we're projecting a little.
Sponsor Voice/Advertiser
Right?
Mary
Well, and. And I think what you just said there is probably all true about Danielle, that he is just waiting for the paperwork and they were separated and they got together.
Courtney
See, Danielle, to me also was always the East Coast Kristen Doty.
Mary
Oh, okay.
Courtney
I don't know why that was always a comparison for me, like Kristen and her more similar. But now I think she's actually the Janet. And I mean that complimentary because I'm actually. I like Janet, and I'm going to get a lot of hate for that. So if you don't want to listen to the Valley recap, don't do it. But you should anyways. But outside of this rumor, Danielle is actually right. And Lindsay has said this. Most of the cast has said this. She's just early in being correct, but she's Also somebody that can't stop herself of saying it once and moving on. And so she like repeats and repeats repeats where it just gets annoying and it's too much. But I think that Danielle and Janet could be similar to each other.
Mary
I am totally buying into this. I like this comparison. And. And I'm a board.
Courtney
Yvonne and Nick and Owen and Danielle have all gone to Jenga brunch with shots and they're talking about their relationship with Lindsay and Yvonne and Danielle. It really does come back to the fact of what Amanda said because Danielle can have these conversations with these people, but she hates Amanda and she doesn't respect Amanda and she never will respect Amanda. And at the end of the day, it is is probably correct because of where Amanda is.
Mary
Like you said, Danielle is always the first to something, but then she just keeps on saying it. So she was probably one of the first to not like Amanda. Now everyone's taking it.
Courtney
Remember that game, who do you trust the least? In season four of Summer House? And she said Amanda's and Amazon.
Mary
Yes.
Courtney
Where she was wearing a ass bun.
Mary
Also, the amount of people that have sent us people playing in the World cup with the fuck ass bun is actually insane. How.
Courtney
From Norway, which I'm gonna see him next week when I go to the game. I'm very excited about that. But he rocks a beautiful ass bun. I love him.
Mary
Okay. I don't know anything about soccer.
Courtney
Oh, Mary, you better be going tomorrow, 12:00pm USA. You gotta watch it. Okay. You need to be watching the World Cup.
Mary
Okay.
Courtney
I want you to. It's been tough for me because I've been watching all these games. And the reason that I got stuck with so much TV yesterday is because I keep watching all the games and then I try to do this, but there's only like maybe an hour in between games and there's four games a day.
Mary
Oh, wow. Okay.
Courtney
Yeah. So I have them on in the background.
Mary
Columbia was on last night. Who won?
Courtney
Columbia did. But there's only like an hour break. So then when you're trying to do things, I'm like, oh my God, I gotta like watch the show and take notes. And I'm like, well, I'll watch it for 20 minutes. Okay.
Paige Desorbo
It's half time.
Courtney
I'll turn it back on because I'm very invested.
Mary
And Those games are 90 minutes, right?
Courtney
They are 90 minutes. 2:45 minutes has plus stoppage time plus a 20 minute halftime break. So you are committing two to three hours.
Mary
Yeah, yeah.
Courtney
And it's worth it.
Mary
Okay. Okay. I will jump on board tomorrow noon. I will put Charlie in a USA shirt.
Courtney
So cute.

Courtney
Let's start from the beginning because the editors, they're sneaky. Those little editors, they want to drop some little nuggets for us. And we get a sneak peek of Amanda rocking the Sierra bathing suit. And she's gonna have to get new friends if she wants to have new versions of her bathing suit.
Mary
I mean, just this one little intro. The fact that they have this line like written out for them is actually insane.
Courtney
Also, the bathing suit was ugly. I'm sorry, it was ugly.
Mary
I didn't even notice the bathing suit because I was invested in the words.
Courtney
But the bathing suit line is no longer in existence. It has been removed from the website. So if I was Ciara, I would be doing a collabor of a bathing suit. So anytime someone searches the Sierra bathing suit, that comes up instead. Get that SEO babe.
Mary
What a great revenge. This was like Amanda's dream to have this swimsuit line. Sierra could easily do one.
Courtney
Easily, Easily. Any brand would pick her up. Any brand has picked her up. This woman is everywhere and I love to see it.
Mary
She's a cover girl. Today she had a big covergirl commercial.
Courtney
Stop.
Mary
Easy breezy, beautiful cover girl.
Courtney
I can always remember too remember it was always like the wink picture at the back of the magazine. Like, like, yes, Taylor. Oh my God. I always was like obsessed. Like Molly Sims, all the girls. Oh, God. And then like they would do the COVID girl for America's Next Top Model for the final three.
Mary
Yes, yes.
Courtney
To be young. I miss it. Okay, so then we go to the baby influencer event for Gemma and she's riding bikes. Might be a little young, right?
Mary
They say you're supposed to get these balance bikes. Actually, we got one delivered yesterday, so stop.
Courtney
You did. You ordered one?
Mary
Michael's aunt sent us one because Charlie's birthday's coming Up. And so I said, why didn't you get him this?
Courtney
How old were you when you rode a bike? I learned it when I was seven.
Mary
I remember because my little sister did it before me because we, like, did it at the same time. We're super close in age. And I was like this. I was like, I have to do it. And I think I was probably in first grade, five or six. Okay.
Courtney
Yeah, I was like seven when I learned. But I feel like these kids, they're so good at it. Literally 2 year olds that can balance on these bikes. It's so impressive that the whole part of, like riding a bike is balancing. So they're going to be pros at it.
Mary
Right. And then the kids with the scooters. I can't wait for Charlie to be able to scooter.
Courtney
Oh, my God. It's going to be tough for you, though. You're going to have to be a runner.
Mary
That'll be good.
Courtney
He's going to be like a speed racer on those scooters.
Mary
Just have to teach him about stop signs and crosswalks.
Courtney
He's a city boy.
Mary
He's a city boy.
Courtney
But this scene, because we've gotten a flashback of it in like episode one or something where Georgina comes with her kids. And this is why Georgina, Georgina is an insane person. And I love her so much because she says so. My son had a poopy diaper. I was hung over. He wanted to put his poopy diaper back on. And so in order to just fix this, I got chocolate and rubbed it into a diaper and put it on him. And you couldn't waterboard that information out of me. But then I thought she was so hungover. And then I thought about you on Sunday.
Mary
I mean, desperate times, desperate measures. It's just like, like anything to make the day go by faster. And. And you can't have a struggle with everything. Sometimes you just need to give in. You know your battles.
Courtney
Exactly.
Mary
Exactly.
Chase Sapphire Preferred Cardholder
Yeah.
Courtney
You want to wear a poopy diaper? Here's some chocolate.
Mary
Go for it. Snickers. Does that work? Do you like nuts?
Courtney
I think that's my least favorite baby shower game. Ask the poop.
Mary
I've never actually been to a baby shower that played that game.
Courtney
I don't play the game. I say, well, that's sweet.
Mary
Literally, yes.
Courtney
But when Yvonne shows up and she's like, oh, I thought we were going to brunch. Like, oh, well, there are some, like, gummy bears and crackers over there.
Mary
Go help yourself to the goldfish yeah.
Courtney
But exciting news for her is that Nick and her are going to start trying. Obviously, we know they're there. We've got three soon to be mommies. And I just hope that the producers are watching, watching the Valley right now and saying the moms need a break. The moms need a break.
Mary
I don't think they're gonna get that break.
Courtney
Danielle, I believe someone told us that she's due around Labor Day, which is probably when they pick up filming because that's always the last weekend of the summer. So Danielle maybe will get a little bit of time off. I also think about when Sheena was like seven days postpartum and, like, came back on Vanderpump Rules. But I think that Yvonne and Lexi are a few months behind her, so maybe we'll just have a pregnant season. Them. Everyone deserves time off. I really wish that there was a maternity leave clause for Bravo.
Mary
Well, they don't have it. They're not going to have it. Also, remember Teresa Judice giving birth on camera with full glam Audriana.
Courtney
Yep. And wasn't it Jacqueline's son Nick? That was her boyfriend?
Mary
Yeah.
Courtney
It's cute. It's cute again. What did I do yesterday? Can't remember.
Mary
Okay, so then Kyle and Kenny, they have a sit down to discuss the spark comment. And I thought this was a very productive conversation, which also, once again, makes Kenny a great reality TV star. He got out what he wanted to say. Kyle was able to defend himself as well, and they were able to have resolution and move forward also.
Courtney
I just feel like men get over things so much more quickly. Kyle's like, I didn't even say that. And then when they flash back, everything that Kyle said was true. He was like, I was talking about the future. It was because I can relate because I feel like that's where my relationship is right now. There's no spark. Amanda and I are roommates who aggravate each other. And Kyle said, Amanda moving is one last ditch effort. And it's very clear to me what's happening. We're at ground zero, but we're not. I'm like, what's happening, Kyle? This is done. And I think her moving out was really the last ditch effort to be amicable in a separation.
Mary
I also am very excited because I imagine at this reunion, Andy's gonna ask, so why did you move forward with a one year lease? What was your thought process with that? Because it feels like you intentionally picked to at least move out for a year. That's a long time. So Was this just your stepping stone? I. I need them to fess up a little bit to that. And, like, I actually. This is sick. This is sick, you guys.
Courtney
We're all sick. I'm feeling the virus. It's contagious. Tell me.
Mary
I know why Kyle wasn't home that last night she was in the apartment because he was so upset that she was moving out because he knew the relationship was over, and that's why he partied all night, made poor choices, and brought people back to the apartment.
Courtney
So what's sick about that? He's told us.
Mary
I feel like I'm defending Kyle.
Courtney
See, that's the problem for me, too. I just feel like at this point in their relationship, they both know it's over. It's just like this is the first step to getting there. And the way that they're acting out is totally different. Kyle's going out and getting drunk. Amanda is doing the silent treatment and getting high in the house. They have gotten to a point where somebody has to make the first move. And I don't even want to bring in the west factor. I'm just looking at their relations, whether she's getting attention from someone else, and that is why she decided to continue moving forward. Someone had to do it. This relationship had been over for a while, and Kyle even said that, too. We're not in love. That's in the west conversation. We haven't been in love for years. We love each other, but we're not in love. They were just waiting for one of them to do something, and they would just continue with the status quo. And maybe this show was also going to be the platform for them to end it, because they're not stuck together every single weekend in a summer house. They can live these separate lives. To me, they're obviously also both at fault completely.
Mary
And he loves to expose her and her smoking weed, that's like his favorite thing, because he's like, well, yeah, your vice is weed, mine is alcohol. But you just disassociate and get high and get lazy and don't do anything.
Courtney
Well, this is also an introvert versus an extrovert. Kyle gets his energy for being surrounded by people. When he's drinking and partying, he's forgetting all of his worries. Amanda's the opposite. She likes to stay inside, sit there with nobody, be by herself and get high. And that's how she disassociates. So it's like they both have different paths to get to the same point. And at the end of the day, it's also just sad to watch it because even though we know they shouldn't be together, even though we know where Amanda is today and we know where Kyle is today, watching it is sad because you can reflect in a lot of relationships, even though. Though it's not your relationship and just see, like, God, it's sad to see the demise.
Mary
Her tears at the end as she's moving out was so sad. She's like, I thought we were gonna have, like, this last night in the apartment together, but you got wasted. And the reason why I'm moving out is because of this. This is the one thing that I talk to you about all the time. And on my last night we're supposed to have in this apartment, you do the thing I hate the most about you. So your actions speak louder than your words.
Courtney
Yep. And it was his subconscious too, by the way. I was in New York that day for the marathon. Oh, yeah. Because Carl ran the marathon.
Mary
Right, right, right.
Courtney
I wasn't there to watch Carl run the marathon. I happened to be there that weekend because it was also Halloween weekend. But it's like that was his subconscious. He's running away from his problems. He's not coming home because he doesn't want to have to admit to the fact that Amanda's moving out the next day. She's thinking, and again, I know people are going to yell, ah. She's already with West. I don't believe that personally, but she's thinking, maybe we can be together and have one last night and remember the good times.
Mary
I think this actually helps our timeline because we know this is, like, October 30th around there. And I believe at this point, she isn't hooking up with West. So we're. We're slowly making the timeline shorter. I don't know about November and December, but agreed.
Courtney
It made me feel sad watching that because I just thought, like, God, they really have reached rock bottom. And I think they both think they should try to save this relationship, but subconsciously, they both know it's done well.
Mary
And saving their relationship has to do with their jobs.
Courtney
Totally. Totally. And that's why I also think in the city was a platform for them to separate. Yes. Who is Amanda in the city? Like, we only know Amanda and Kyle as a couple in summer house together. Who are they when they're not together? And then when Amanda was moving too, and they were packing stuff up, I was like, wait. I feel like influencers are always using roadway moving. But I have heard of Piece of cake. I had a friend Moving to New York. And she was like, which one do you think I should use? I said, I'm not an influencer. I don't know what has the best price.
Mary
I have seen roadway moving myself and piece of cake recently.
Courtney
Yeah. 10% off code. Amanda Petula. But it was that. And I just knew how done she was, too, because when she went into that office while he was on a call, and she said, I'm leaving, and she said, I'm done.
Mary
Also, he's so hungover. You can tell. He looks exhausted. Bags under his eyes.
Courtney
It's Monday morning.
Mary
Yeah, it's tough. That's tough.
Courtney
It is tough as she's leaving their fight. Oh, yeah. And if I'm her, even. Let's just say, even if she is with Wes, if I'm her, I'm. I'm going. This is the best decision I can make right now.
Mary
Yes.
Courtney
This is just going to be a rinse and repeat of everything. And at this point, it's not worth saving for either of them. It's sad for her to have a breakdown the night before because he's gone. Regardless if she was high the night before. It's like, when you're looking at it from both angles, it's like, Kyle's like, okay, well, I want to have a good night with Amanda. Well, Amanda's high and doesn't want to hang out with me.
Mary
Great.
Courtney
Okay, I'm gonna go out. And then Amanda's like, well, I want to hang out with Kyle. Oh, he's out getting wasted. It's like they are just so polar opposites, and they cannot find a middle ground. And so, again, it's better they are not together. Finally, both of them are free. Amanda's never going to be free because she's shackles of her own mind, but they're free from each other there.
Mary
And she's with Kyle 2.0, but with less drive. True. It is true.
Courtney
I just. I keep thinking about that conversation with Lindsay where she was like, I was reliving my 20s, and I was thinking the way she started out with Kyle is the way she's starting out with west, and she feels exciting because they're out and they're having a good time and they're in this honeymoon phase, and that's the same thing she had with Kyle. And it's just going to be the same thing.
Mary
Yeah.
Courtney
But she chose it. She did. She did.
Mary
She'll always be the girl that went to Italy.
Courtney
And I'm glad that we're finally going to see Frank Batula next week.
Mary
I cannot wait.
Courtney
Like, I actually think what's crazy is whatever advice he gives to her about her and Kyle is going to be the same advice that he could give to her about her and Wesley.
Mary
Agreed.
Podcast Host/Advertiser
Yeah.
Courtney
Like, so even though it's only going to be in relation to this relationship, just know it could also be for the other.
Ryder Strong
Yeah.
Mary
Because it's the same relationship. Okay, let's talk about Kenny and Whitney and this P.I. because really, Whitney was the P.I.
Courtney
okay. I don't want to seem like a hater in this because I am interested in the storyline. You never went on Facebook, Kenny.
Mary
He could have hired anyone that listens to this podcast if it comes out.
Courtney
Any Bravo fan. I mean, she's from the Bachelor, so any Bachelor fan, too. Like, these are the people who can find the details. You need them. We probably do it for free.
Mary
It does seem like maybe he tried to. To. To dwindle it down, but couldn't.
Courtney
Larry Martin is a common name.
Mary
Right. And then she was able to figure
Courtney
it out because of the white and the location.
Mary
Yes.
Courtney
I think that was helpful. He couldn't know if she was in London or in America, so. Yeah, I could see that. But I was wondering, well, maybe he doesn't have a Facebook. So I'm like, if you search Larry Martin, I'm sure a hundred plus would come up. It also felt very overacted in this scene, too. Like, they had already done all of this. And even though when he called Debbie and she said, we've been looking for you, it did feel like the convo had already happened.
Mary
Oh, you think? Oh, I literally got, like, chills in that moment. I thought I. It was super genuine. And. No, I feel like that was real.
Courtney
Okay, okay.
Mary
I'm gonna believe it.
Courtney
Okay. I thought it was still a sweet moment regardless, because isn't that what you would like to hear? Like, we've been looking for you.
Mary
He hasn't spoken with his dad in 25 years. He used to go over there. He used to live in the UK. Then at 13, kind of stopped going and they stopped talking. Lost touch. And this is like a different time of technology. Let's remember that, too. To call over the pond was very expensive. I'm sure at that time, and the time difference and all of that, like, it's so easy to communicate now. They didn't even have email. I can understand that. So I'm really excited. What if we get a reconciliation in person?
Courtney
It feels like that. What was making me laugh, though, was the way that they Cliffhangered it though. We've been looking for you. And the combo's over. We go to Amanda and Kai. I'm like, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
Mary
I know. I was like, I was like, no,
Courtney
we didn't finish this up.
Narrator/Commercial Voice
What's gonna happen?
Mary
Is the dad gonna get on the phone? Is she gonna be like, he's at the gym. We can call you back.
Courtney
I know we haven't wrapped this up yet and this is not a mystery show.
Mary
I'm really excited about this. I. I just felt like you saw a pure smile on Kenny's face. And especially after the year that he's had losing his mother, it's really important to him to reconnect with his father. And maybe this will help close the loop and help his relationship with Whitney.
Courtney
He's going to get his spork back. Britney's getting her sporkle and he's getting his spork. When he was like, well, maybe this is just the reason I am what I am. And I'm like, well, if you find your dad, you're not allowed to be like that anymore. Give Whitney a ring.
Mary
I think she's going to get a ring soon. I have a feeling.
Courtney
I think so too. It's going to happen now. I just hope, hope that they do have the spark because I don't know that I can watch another bad relationship on these shows. Who am I kidding? Of course I freaking can. So silly. So silly. They're gonna get together because we've got three babies on the way. We do need one wedding.
Mary
Yeah, that'd be great. I'd be excited for them.
Courtney
Let's talk about the Petrole. Okay, you gotta hand it to Kyle because Kyle probably texted the cast and said, let me tell you how summer house works. Summer house is one big ad for lover boy. And if I'm not gonna be on that show, any in the city is now. And to be on this show you have to pay the troll toll. And the troll toll is repping lover boy on this old trolley. We're gonna all be wearing it. We're gonna be selling it to bars, but I'm gonna get you drunk at the same time.
Mary
This looks like a blast. I would be happy to do this. He should actually market this and have this.
Courtney
He should start Lover Boy Pup Crawl.
Podcast Host/Advertiser
Yes.
Mary
For it's okay. Okay, hold on. Workshop.
Courtney
I have an idea while you're workshopping that one.
Mary
Okay.
Courtney
What if he started his own party bus from the city to the Hampton sponsored by lover boy.
Mary
Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant.
Courtney
Every, Every Weekend. There's like, a couple of buses that go. And you have a party bus to the Hamptons.
Mary
Yeah. And then. But you know what it comes with. With a lover boy sweatshirt, hat, and sixpack.
Courtney
Love this idea.
Mary
He's selling all his products.
Courtney
Yep.
Mary
And you get a ride. It's probably going to cost you $300.
Courtney
I think he could do it for two.
Mary
No. With all the merch.
Courtney
No, I'm saying, but 200, but with, like, a bunch of people, because I think that they have a nice chunk of change on their merch. And then I was thinking, too, when they were tossing merch out, I was like, this would be me and Newark, New Orleans, like, shirt up. Like, give me some beads for lover boy March. I'm like, I could get a hat. You want both boobs or one you want My friends, too? We're all flashing for birch.
Mary
It also made me think. I. I thought about the Carl's a mess merch. And if Carl wanted anything from that, even though Kyle was the person that said it. It's. It's Kyle's line, but it made me think about Britney and Angie on Salt Lake City for high body count hair.
Podcast Host/Advertiser
Yeah.
Courtney
Which. Did that ever even go anywhere? That's never even gone anywhere. But I think that they love that they donated it, and I think that was smart to do. God, this. The scandal really brought people together.
Mary
We're getting an extra season of Summer House because of it.
Courtney
I know. It's crazy. I like this idea of the party bus. I think that there's something there. Kyle, you can have that one for free, but we would love merch. And I don't want to have to show my boobs for it, but I do want it for free.
Podcast Host/Advertiser
Okay.
Courtney
Is that. Is that possible? I also was laughing, too, because. Okay, they're really trying to. I don't know if you heard the little clip. They're trying to make Lindsay and Gavin something.
Mary
They're like, no, that's.
Courtney
And like, Lindsay literally showed us, like, an episode or two ago when they met up at one of his bars that she is not interested.
Mary
No, no, not at all.
Courtney
But when. When they were talking about the hat. If the hat doesn't quit, quit, you must acquit. If the hat is a miss, you probably should kiss. If that hat ain't legit, you should probably lick her clit. It rhymes. But I. Kenny, that little poet.
Mary
I really like Kenny. I really like Gavin, and I like their rapport. I actually wish we knew more about Gavin. We got a confessional this week. Of him saying, yeah, lover boy doesn't really sell that well in the bars, but he carries it. But I want to know more of his background story. I think that's what they haven't done with that this show given us a little bit more background about each person individually.
Courtney
I agree, because it's like Kenny's probably the most thought out character outside of the OGs. We've learned about his mom and his relationship and now his dad. But I agree. I think we've had to spend so much time on Kyle and Amanda and obviously Lindsay because this is her vehicle of a. But, yeah, I would love to learn about Gavin because I'm like, okay, next week we're gonna see Gavin and Kenny going at it. I don't know where I'm supposed to lie because Kenny's the villain. So am I automatically on Gavin's side or what is the relationships of everybody outside of how they're connected to Lindsay?
Mary
Yeah, I want to know more about Gavin's background.
Courtney
Yeah. Katie DeLuca. Is she on the cast or she just a name?
Mary
Name? It feels like she's just a name.
Courtney
Like we've. We've had a scene of her or two. I thought Katie DeLuca was gonna be on this trolley. She should have been to defend herself because Amanda, her best friend from third grade, my best friend, Katie DeLuca, I introduced her to Danielle and then they became friends. But that's my friend. But I'm gonna throw her under the bus anyways because you should have the conversation with her.
Mary
I know, but. But who showed Danielle the group chat?
Courtney
Katie and Matt.
Mary
Right. So then Katie got herself in trouble. Do you know what I mean?
Courtney
Amanda brought it up on camera first. So, like, week one, she's bringing up this on camera. Then there's like this group chat that's happening that's also being exposed. And then Katie has shown Danielle this. And I'm like, is Katie showing Danielle this because Katie knows that Amanda has mentioned it on camera or that it's going to be a storyline? Like after the group chat, was it like, oh, we should talk about this on the show? Because you know that they have their BTS conversations about what they're also going to be talking about. So is Katie giving Danielle a warning?
Mary
That's a good question. Because it feels like Katie exposed herself.
Courtney
Right. And then on top of that, Danielle trying to say, I've never talked about anybody in a group chat. And Amanda being like, well, yeah, you just go straight to the blogs. I'm like, you guys are all liars. You have all. All talked about each other one way or the other. Maybe. Danielle, you've never sent a Reddit thread and so you're using semantics of details. But come on. I know that group chat between Carl, Lindsay and Danielle when they were the trace amigos, they were talking.
Mary
Yeah. And it just. People say it, forget it, write it, regret it and you have a piece of gossip call your friends, have a
Courtney
six hour phone call and chit chat it all about. Okay.
Mary
Yeah. But I still, I still don't know about this Danielle situation. Like I don't know what the truth is of the timeline.
Courtney
Is there an ex wife expose coming? Does she really care? Were they really over at this point too? It's like she's pregnant. I don't want the drama at this point. I want it if it's like on this season of the show and then we like move on from it. But at this point I'm like feels icky.
Mary
I also feel like Danielle wouldn't do that. I feel like she.
Courtney
Mary, we don't know these people. I wouldn't think that Amanda and West would get together. Okay. We were staunch defenders of our second place March Madness winner. Multiple years people. You guys voted multiple years for second place.
Mary
Or is Owen lying to her and saying they were separated, but they weren't.
Courtney
Oh, so this is the man's fault. That's fine. We can blame him.
Mary
I'm just wondering.
Podcast Host/Advertiser
I don't know.
Mary
I didn't like how he didn't go after Danielle right away. It was Andrea and Lexi.
Courtney
He and Nick needed drinks. Okay. I think he's also like just doesn't care. He doesn't get the game yet of reality. Danielle's like, I gotta amp this up. Like yeah. At the beginning or on the tears. Yes. And. But I also was like, I do kind of love these. Amanda really will always be Kyle's wife, Kyle's girlfriend. Because I'm like, these people actually have genuine friendships and Amanda is so the outlier. But to the defense of the rest is Amanda does not make the effort to be friends with these people. Like, wasn't there a lot of drama too with Katie's wedding? I feel like Katie DeLuca has been in the orbit for so long because Danielle and Amanda were both bridesmaids in her wedding.
Mary
Right. And I think Amanda is upset that Danielle and Katie became such good friends.
Courtney
Of course she is.
Mary
I bet they are better friends than Amanda and Katie are now.
Courtney
Now Amanda and Katie are long term friends where they probably don't talk for months. And then when they see each other, nothing's changed. But like, Danielle and Katie are friends. Friends, friends. Like, they chat all the time, they hang out. So they just have like different relationships with each other. So Danielle probably knows more about Katie than Amanda does. I'd also think at this time too, Amanda might be being a selfish friend.
Mary
Right.
Courtney
Amanda probably can't figure out, like, I can't stand Danielle, Danielle can't stand me. How can we have one friend we both both love so much that could be friends with both of us.
Mary
And I also know Katie DeLuca is been on Instagram talking about, like her fertility journey, having a hard time getting pregnant.
Courtney
I wanted to talk about the Danielle and Lindsay scene through this whole thing because this is where Danielle pulls her Kristen Doty for me. They're chit chatting, they're getting pizza. It was the most millennial thing I could relate to. And they were like, I can only be on one app at a time. It is agreed, hard. But this is like where Danielle becomes the Kristen for me because Kristen always has to be the number one friend. She has to be. I'm your number one and it has to be there. And she said, can I come over? How's Gemma? Is she walking? So when can I come over your apartment? I would love to. And Lindsay's like, whoa, whoa, whoa. We need to stretch out this issue for a couple more weeks. Danielle, we have two months of filming. We have to go at least a month and a half of being are we or aren't we? And then Danielle said this line about how she needs to redate Lindsay, and I was like, she's obsessed with her.
Mary
Well, I think Lindsay's also being a little bit guarded.
Courtney
Yes, yes.
Mary
Just because they were thick as thieves and have such a history. So. But I think Lindsay, that she'll never be able to get over those comments. Even though they were right. They were right.
Courtney
I think Lindsay plays up the PR angle a lot just to drum up interest because it's like, what's going on? And she likes to play week by week. I think her and Danielle are fine now. I think they're in a good place now. And I think a lot of this is for storyline. But Danielle's like, no, no, it's real life. And Lindsay's like, a couple more weeks, Danielle, come on.
Mary
Fun. When she was asking about the Dumois or Reddit thread or whatever. And then Lindsay tells this story about how she dated a guy and she walked into his house and his wife was there and she's like, There's a human in here.
Courtney
He's just sipping on a glass of wine.
Mary
Oh, my God. Oh, that's, like, insane.
Courtney
Like, I feel like that's a Lifetime movie right there. But, Lindsay. So now I have a rule of call me when you're divorced. But I'm not judging you, Danielle, as long as it's 1000% happening and we're supposed to believe. Well, maybe it's not. Maybe it is. Maybe it isn't. She definitely thinks it is.
Mary
I think it is. I mean, they're having a baby.
Courtney
Yeah, I think so too. But we have to perpetuate this. I also love too, because this was the line from the trailer when they were waiting in the line. That guy burps on Lindsay. That guy just burp on me. I don't know why. Gotta love New York.
Mary
Gotta love New York. I love a city show next week.
Courtney
I'm interested in this wedding because we learned, too, that Nick and Yvonne are not married. Very cad. Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz.
Mary
I hate this. Okay. I think it's, like, duping your guess. You're telling me I'm going to your wedding, I'm gonna fly down to Mexico and be a part of your special day, and then you're not even actually married. I think it's rude.
Courtney
What's worse? That or finding out that you've flown to Mexico and they've already been married a year a la Brock and Sheena?
Mary
I think it's worse to not get married. When you said you're getting married, what do you think?
Courtney
You know what? I think at the end of the day, it's a big party and I hope people are celebrating. But I couldn't figure out why in the trailer, they were talking about Danielle wearing this white dress to Yvonne's wedding. And I'm like, I don't think Danielle was invited to the wedding. So it's, like, weird to bring up something from a year or so ago in this. Realizing, though this is probably the reception for their courthouse house. And Danielle is wearing. It's light pink. You. Because I was like, aren't they married? I couldn't figure out where that storyline was. Obviously, it is next week. We're going to the courthouse. It is happening. I like Yvonne and Nick, and so I don't want them to go down the Bubba route.
Mary
No, Yvonne's like Daria.
Courtney
She. Her voice cartoon.
Mary
Her voice is very funny. She's very direct. And matter of fact, She said she's gonna get her bearings. She'll be good.
Courtney
Yeah, she's got some drama in her. Yes, it's coming.
Mary
Yeah.
Courtney
Anything else about this?
Mary
No. Keep watching the city, you guys.
Courtney
Minus the Kyle and Amanda stuff, which is fascinating. It's still weirdly light and. And I'm enjoying it. I like seeing this next phase, and I think it makes sense. And I think Carl will be on the next season.
Mary
I think so, too. And after talking with you, Courtney, I'm actually gonna give it a B plus.

Mary

Sponsor Voice/Advertiser
Wow.
Courtney
Okay.
Mary
Yeah.
Courtney
Wow. Okay.
Mary
Okay, great.
Courtney
All right, well, we'll see you guys for the Valley.
Mary
Okay, bye.
