Welcome back to two Judgy Girls. This is Mary from the Bay and
Courtney
it's Courtney from la and it Is Tuesday?
Wayfair/Nuuly/Butcherbox/Experian/Quince Advertiser
It is.
Mary
I felt like a lot happened yesterday on the news front.
Courtney
It's one of those days where it's like, it's really tough to be a Bravo fan and have a real life. Thankfully, I don't have a real life, so I can keep up with things. But it was one of those Mondays where it's like, oh, you think it's tough to be you? Like, try being a Bravo fan for a day. Okay, we've gotten from all the different franchises. Things are happening. Should we start good news to bad news. How do you want to relay all this?
Mary
Well, what was the good news?
Courtney
He is so happy with the golden life that they've ordered more episodes for them to do in New York.
Mary
I heard that is very exciting. I cannot wait to see that. I'm hoping this is a fall show.
Courtney
Yeah, we need to see our girls.
Mary
Also, Real Housewives Ultimate Girls trip is coming out in August, so I wonder if it will go against that, which is interesting because Lou would be on both.
Courtney
I don't think it's smart for them to go against it. I think right after they should put it out. But if they're going to film more episodes, it might delay it a little bit more. You know, don't mess with perfection. You need to take all the time. Do you think that the Mona Lisa was painted in one day? Mary?
Mary
Also, none of them live in New York.
Jack Myers
Lou.
Courtney
Right. She's in Sag harbor somewhere.
Mary
Right. Sonia definitely doesn't have a place there. Ramona still does. Dorinda still does, I guess. Kelly. Okay, okay, fair.
Courtney
You know what? Dorinda doesn't live in Florida either.
Mary
Right. But she was like a throw in because of Jill.
Courtney
Zarin, does Lou live in Florida?
Mary
No. Okay, let's suspend disbelief.
Courtney
Suspend disbelief. Just let it happen.
Mary
Okay, so that is the good news. I guess the other good news is Lindsay made the COVID of Us Weekly.
Courtney
Good for Lindsay, because she is capitalizing. She is doing whatever she can to get a season two, which still at time of recording, has not been announced yet, which does make me worry. But then I got to thinking today. Mary. Okay, are they waiting for this summer to see how it plays out? After watching this finale tonight, I was like, there really is no place for Amanda. For me personally, I just think that at least where she isn't filming this, it's a little bit like she's standoffish. I think, obviously, like, her mental health is wearing on her. And I just felt like at that point I needed her to go take care of herself. Off screen. I'm not super interested in really knowing more about her and West.
Mary
I say that today as these pregnancy rumors were swirling, which they debunked. They said she was drinking at that wedding. We never thought this was true either. I would have been more interested if that was true. Yeah.
Courtney
Yeah, I agree with you on that.
Mary
Yeah. Like, because I'd be like, well, they got figure this thing out. They're gonna have to move in together. You know, there would have been a lot of extra steps with that, but I never believed it was true, and it's proven not to be true. So I think you're making an interesting point because Bravo yesterday did announce the cast of Summer House, which is Carl, Lindsay, Kyle, Sierra.
Courtney
This whole cast that was announced were the returning ones. There's still newbies coming, but these are just the returnees.
Mary
Right. And then it's Jesse, Mia, Bailey, and kj. And I like your point because it does feel like Carl, Lindsay, and Kyle, this would be the last summer and maybe for Sierra too. So, yeah. Do all those four go into the city? I'd watch that. And also maybe having Sierra back with them would add an interesting dynamic. I would like to follow her story. So there definitely needs to be some changeups in the city. Felt like such a freshman season. But, I mean, Kenny's gold, you guys. He's great reality tv and Gavin is too. And Danielle.
Courtney
I think it was a great first season. I don't know that Sierra would be on the next season because she'll be doing Dancing with the Stars, which is congruent with in the City based on when they filmed. My thought process was more though, like, okay, Kyle is single this summer. We know filming happened last weekend. According to Lindsay, it was a great weekend. And so we know that it's all coming of them all being single in the house together and what that vibe is like. And does it make sense to slot Amanda in at that point? Because it doesn't necessarily fit. So that's just where I'm looking at of, like, are they going to let the summer play out, see what happens? I think Carl honestly is a shoe in for season two. I just don't know how they wouldn't put him in. I think the demand is there and I think if you're going to remove Amanda, if we have some moms who are maybe going to be taking some time for themselves, there seems like there is room open for more people to join that show.
Mary
I am predicting Andrea and Lexi out. They keep Georgina and they can, like, slot in Carl as well. Amanda out.
Courtney
You think Andrea and Lexi are out? I don't like that. We need hot people.
Mary
Lexi is AI or something. There's something off. I guess her number one question is, like, where are you from? Because your accent is a little off. And she's from the United States. You guys from Jersey?
Courtney
I wouldn't say her accent is off. It's just that she has an accent that's indistinguishable and we don't know where it's from, but if it's from New Jersey, I mean, I have a minor in Jersey after 15 seasons of watching the show.
Mary
Right, right. She did say how she feels like her voice cadence is slower because she lived abroad for so long and she had to speak slower.
Courtney
Durie, she's a child of the world. I like Lexi. I mean, I think she's tough as a TV character because she's stirring the pot a little bit, but she's also not adding too much in. And like I said, they're there to provide hotness for us. And so I think, too, if we're doing the mom's storyline, if that's, like, where it's progressing and we end this episode with three of us are pregnant, I would love to follow those storylines together of them being new moms and taking that on. I think you like that aspect. Aspect on the Valley, Yes.
Mary
I did enjoy watching it for a bit of time, but I don't know if I need to watch it again necessarily. I've lived it, and I got to watch it one time through Nia and Kristin. It will be interesting to see how they navigate that.
Courtney
I also think that there's a different dynamic of having kids in the Valley of LA versus having kids in the city of New York. Like, city kids are just as we watch nyc, Jen, and we're seeing the transplants versus the ones that have grown up there. Maybe they're all right. I'm not sure. We'll have to wait and see.
Mary
I will say I liked the ending, how they kind of were trying to give each person a package, but they voiced it. I feel like they didn't complete it with some people, Kyle and Amanda. And they didn't even say Danielle had the baby, like, in words.
Courtney
Oh, yeah. They didn't announce that she had her baby.
Mary
Yes. I. I liked, like, the sweet moment of Kenny being able to reflect on
Courtney
the season, but he got married in Peru. Pachamama. You have to look it up. I was like, kenny, did you sign anything? That's usually the legal document now don't ask Ivana Nick about that, or the Schwartz Maloney's. But yes, you may be married, like they were.
Mary
You could be. Okay, let's talk about Porsche lighting up Shamia on X. This was insane. The saga continues.
Courtney
So I literally, no joke, just happened to open up Instagram, and it was like six seconds ago. I had added it to our story, and then I screenshot it, because when I sent it to you, I saw that it said added to story, and I was like, oh, I can't repost this. But she deleted it so fast, it somehow still stood up in our stories for a while. And I don't know if that was a bug or what, because usually I feel like when someone deletes their post, it deletes it everywhere. Anyways, she had some words.
Mary
Okay. But also, the thing is, if. Say it, forget it, write it, regret it.
Courtney
Tyler Perry, during the medley, if you
Mary
put it out, she wanted this to be seen. And then she was like, oh, no, no, no. Actually, oops. And she actually used chat gbt. And you can tell because of the hyphen.
Courtney
No. I love an EM dash. It pisses me off that I can't use an EM dash without people thinking that I'm using AI. Sorry, I'm being correct in using the right punctuation.
Michaels Advertiser
Sorry.
Courtney
I passed the GSP test to get into my communications major in college. Grammar, spelling, punctuation.
Mary
Wait, what happens if you didn't pass it?
Courtney
You couldn't join the major. Oh, you could do, like, the communications major, but you couldn't do the emphasis one. So, like, I have a communications major with an emphasis in public relations. Got it. Anyways, back to this. Wait. Just catching up here in the Bahamas. I'm like, oh, are you a bomber?
Mary
Are you a bomber?
Courtney
Okay, wait. Just catching up here in the Bahamas. Yo, I can't believe there are actually people talking about my mother and mentioning my daughter in a negative way. Was this really worth it? Shamia took this way too far. You're not innocent. While you've got people discussing my mom because of a lie you told on this show. If we're going to discuss it, keep it between us. Now let's discuss you, EM Dash sleeping with your manager, who's married to one of your high school friends, as well as a pastor And Decatur, who's 100 on your roster along with many more. Hashtag let's go. Hashtag R H O A.
Mary
Also, I need the timeline on this. When did this happen? Tell me the years this alleged thing
Courtney
happened that the Statute of limitations is applicable or not. Okay, sleeping with your manager, that has to be something current. Ish, Right? Or is the manager taking her far back for where she's doing the broadcasting for Hawks games? Whatever. Also, he's married to one of your high school friends.
Mary
Also, more people need to be talking about the last episode of Atlanta because it is crazy what is happening there.
Courtney
Okay, but hold on. We're also talking about a pastor and Decatur. Didn't Kelly have a rumor about a pastor? Was it a threesome? I don't know. They're very close. Is Jarvis a pastor?
Mary
I honestly, I got a little nervous when I first read the tweet.
Chase Sapphire Advertiser
It was.
Mary
People are talking about my mother. I'm like, is she referring to us?
Courtney
Wait, we were just questioning the timeline. Yeah, she saw our one reel where you
Michaels Advertiser
don't worry.
Courtney
I don't think she even knows we exist.
Mary
This is very true. But I did. It did get me nervous for a second. I was like, did we say anything bad?
Courtney
Yeah. She's on a lounge chair at Baja Mar, drinking her Hennessy, listening to the latest episode of Two Judging Clues.
Rakuten Advertiser
Hold on.
Mary
That's exactly what I imagined her in the cabana doing that yesterday.
Courtney
We thought, well, Andy did allude that maybe there could be some sort of resolution at the reunion. And then she did this tweet and delete. And I thought, I don't think so.
Mary
Absolutely not.
Courtney
Sure. There's maybe like a point one percent. Nothing's ever final. However, this does feel like the nail in the coffin.
Mary
Definitely. And I also. I think Shamia will not be asked back.
Courtney
Where do you go from here? Because you're right, she did tweet this. She did. Hope people picked up on it. She did delete it. I don't know if she actually deleted from X because she had put it onto Instagram, which is where I saw it. I've deleted X, so I don't know if it's still up there, if she deleted on all the apps, but I just was like, well, she wanted to start something, and something she did. Or she wanted to finish it because it was started. It might be finished now. And because the reunion's already filmed, we don't know about this.
Mary
We need someone on watch what happens live asap.
Courtney
Both of them, week after week, back to back weeks.
Mary
I. It does feel like things are happening so fast in real time after the reunions are filmed that they should bring them on. Watch what happens live after the reunion airs to further the discussion.
Courtney
I agree. It's always seemingly that when the reunions air, they don't bring any of the cast members on. And I think it's because of bias or whatever, but I'm like, we want to be biased.
Mary
This would be so iconic if they brought them together on. Watch what happens live after the third part.
Courtney
Wait, you want them together as two guests together on the same one to hash it out?
Mary
Just maybe not hash it out, but discuss about it.
Courtney
Is Andy in the middle? They have to change the setup.
Mary
Portia's in Andy's chair.
Courtney
It's Andy, and then it's Shamia.
Mary
Yeah.
Courtney
Okay. I do love. I do love. It's a good idea. Like, it makes me think of. I don't know why I just thought of this, but remember Celebrity Death Match on mtv? And it'd be the Claymation, and they'd have, like, two enemies fight each other, and one would win. Should we bring that back? But for Housewives? Is that crazy? No, that's violent.
Mary
It's not for me personally, but there might be a market for it.
Courtney
I'd watch it. I'd watch it.
Mary
Remember when we used to have those celebrity boxing matches?
Courtney
Celebrity was a real loose term there.
Mary
Well, it was like. I think it was Tara Lipinski. Right?
Courtney
Tara Lipinski.
Mary
I mean, not Tara Lipinski. Tanya Hardy. Tanya Hardy. Two different people. Two different people. Very different.
Courtney
One Nancy, Ken, someone, and one was a faithful. Oh, I'm dying. Okay. Can I tell you something I don't want to watch again?
Mary
Tell me.
Courtney
Craig and Shep did this tobacco ad that you sent me this morning. I'm shocked. It's like a Vogue 73 questions wannabe type interview, all about their favorite Zen type. I don't even know what the brand is because I was so thrown off by it on something. It's like I don't even know what the brand is that they're doing. It's like a version of Zins.
Mary
I was shocked I sent this to
Courtney
you right away because I was like,
Mary
I cannot believe they're promoting tobacco. I just feel like, wow, they must have got a ton of money to be doing that.
Courtney
I was like, if they were not paid over six figures for this. First off, I think that they both probably do some version of Zen or something. Or, like, smoke a cig.
Chase Sapphire Advertiser
Like, what?
Mary
I often talk about smoking a cig and doing a vape. Like, I fantasize about doing these things, but I'm not going to promote it. It's, like, naughty.
Courtney
I'm surprised that Jerry approved this.
Mary
I was shocked. It had to be a huge paycheck.
Courtney
Six figures or bust. And I'm talking six figures closer to 999-999. Not that 100-000.
Mary
Yeah, I would love to know the payout on it because I started looking at the comments and they are not good.
Courtney
Okay, we gotta talk about Jax Taylor, Lori Kay, Brittany Cart right now. Jax and Lori Kay popped up together at Hotel Musai in Mexico, where Vanderpump rules once took a trip to.
Mary
And people have been buzzing about them, honestly, probably last year saying they were hooking up.
Courtney
We said this too. She was in our dms. Mary being like, no, you know, so and so sent me this. That's so not true. I'm like, why are you even addressing this? I didn't. You guys. It's like in our hidden request. Because I didn't even want to accept it to let her know that I've seen it. I've seen it. So, like, you watched the show, you've been his publicist, you know who he is. And yet do you think you're going to change him?
Mary
I don't care. I don't want to see Jax Taylor. I'm actually upset that he made the news. It's just kind of disgusting. Like, let's just erase him.
Courtney
Do you think the door is still open? Because the rumor is if he took a season off, got quote unquote better, that potentially he could come back to the Valley. And I'm like, I just know you don't think we need that. Like, let the other terrible men on that show drown themselves. And then like, Britney dropped her. I have to assume Britney dropped her a long time ago. I can't imagine that this photo came out and that Britney is like, oh, well, now I'll get rid of her. I feel like that's old news.
Mary
Right?
Michaels Advertiser
I just.
Mary
I don't want to talk about him. I cannot. I would be so shocked if they let him on for a season four of the Valley.
Courtney
Would you be shocked? Would you really be shocked? Because worse things have happened.
Mary
I would be.
Courtney
Okay. Okay.
Mary
I. I might even not watch the Valley if they allow him to be on. I feel like I would have to take a stance. I'm being serious and I don't take stances often, guys.
Courtney
She doesn't. That's going to be a loose opinion. Strongly held. All right, someone mark it and remind us we're shooting for the new season.
Mary
Season starts well.
Courtney
Okay, well, let's end our new stuff with in the City reunion trailer. So we're getting two parts. It's a clubhouse reunion. It feels a little anticlimactic for me.
Mary
It also felt really low budge to see like Kyle and Lindsay and Amanda in the clubhouse in this tight space. They had to do stadium seating.
Courtney
Courtney, when I saw the clip, I thought of you immediately. Like, finally she gets her stadium seating because the clubhouse is too damn stupid small for it.
Mary
It wasn't the way I wanted it. The most interesting part from the trailer was Amanda saying Kyle had sex out of the marriage. And you see Kyle's reaction, you could tell he was. He was definitely lying. He did.
Courtney
I think in general they would not do a first season reunion because of everybody wanting to know. Amanda and Wes, the timeline, Lindsay, Kyle, etc, they shot this reunion. I just feel like at this point I think people are still somewhat interested. But like, as time goes on, it's like, okay, well they're still together. What does it matter at this point? Is there going to be any new information that we're going to be chomping at the bit for? Of course we're going to be watching. I'm a hypocrite, guys. Obviously I'll change my tune, but I almost feel like they recorded this, what, over a month or so ago? Month and a half, two months ago. That is anything new compared to where we're at now? Does it really matter? If we knew that Amanda and Wes weren't together anymore, would that go further? What do you think?
Mary
Is it one or two parts?
Courtney
I thought it was two. Is it only one?
Mary
I feel like they didn't address that. I'm excited for Andy to ask Amanda about the summer house reunion and the drugs. Even though Wes has addressed that, she seems a lot more lucid at it. I mean, I'm excited for Danielle. Feels like she comes in guns blazing.
Michaels Advertiser
She's great.
Mary
Reality television. I. I don't understand the hate with her.
Courtney
Her bringing up the 17 page email. I'm like, oh, God, that's for the OGs.
Mary
Yeah, she's great.
Courtney
She's great.
Mary
So I will be watching. I. I wasn't impressed by the trailer, but it's okay.
Courtney
Just like there we didn't feel like there was anything. Jaw dropping. Amanda saying you had sex in our marriage. Like, but wasn't that like assumed at one point? Are we getting confirmation of that? Are we going to expand on Lindsay saying we didn't talk about the cheating throughout their marriage? Those are the things that I would to like, like to know. Even though at this point too, I'm like, they're not together, but like, I'M nosy. I'm sorry, I'm curious. Rebrand.
Mary
We've got to make hats. Curious girls or something like that.
Courtney
Two curious girls.
Mary
Very interesting.
Courtney
Oh, what I find funny. Wait, let's talk about Roller Rabbit, though. Because this is one of our favorite new brands. It's long standing craftsmanship relationships. The brand has maintained partnerships, the same family owned factories for over two decades, reinforcing consistency and quality and production standards. And it's true because the items that we have gotten from Roller Rabbit are amazing. They sent us these cardigans. I think I got it last week. I've worn mine three times. It's this dark blue one with these heart buttons and it's really cute over a summer dress.
Mary
Wait, mine's different. I've worn it twice and it's a red and I wore it for the fourth of July.
Courtney
It's really cute to like wear over

We recently redid our backyard, and before Wayfair, it was honestly just an empty space that we weren't using. Mary
what were your overall thoughts of this finale episode?
Courtney
Uneventful. Overall, we're wrapping up a lot of things. It was a first season. I know we've had some strong first seasons in other shows. I still enjoyed this. I want to know what these people are doing after Summer House. Even though they're coming back, I want to see the next phase of their lives. I think we've brought in some newbies who are going to be able to work really well in a season two. I love an organized chaos trip where we're putting him in this way too large house. When Kyle was DJing you guys into that dining room and he had a microphone, I mean he's wasted. But then they have this dance party after and I'm like the difference of the summer house house where they have and it's that small little room that they're all on top of each other versus this dining room that's bigger than my apartment.
Mary
I know, I know. I also really recognize this episode. What a loner Amanda is. She didn't have a sidekick to be off at the side of the party and like talk about. She ends up having to talk to Danielle of all people and have to puzzle with her. I Just, I really felt like she was like, thumbs up, awkward, dorky girl. And I mean, she had to like, excuse herself from the party because she's like, I don't want to dance. It made me realize how she always has, like, a girlfriend that she leeches on to.
Courtney
Leeches on
Mary
because I think she can't stand alone. And I, like, realize that this episode particularly, there's so many moments where, I don't know, she got like, awkward about things and had to walk away, but she doesn't have, like a sidekick to lean on to make fun of it.
Courtney
Or she's like the freshman dating the senior and they're all at a senior party and no other freshman came. And so she doesn't have anyone who also is dating one of the seniors that's one of her friends also, to be fair too. And I know everyone wants to hate on Amanda, but it's like the night before she had like a full panic attack. She clearly doesn't want to be on this trip. She's being forced to in a cast ass perspective. She's like, I'm gonna do my obligations, I'm gonna get the F out, and I'm gonna go to bed, and that's just the way that I'm gonna work. I don't know if you noticed when they were driving to Apple picking, I'm pretty sure she was watching something on an iPad on the drive over. She had an iPad set up next to her. And then I know she was wearing ear warmers, but I didn't know if the ear warmers were also headphones.
Mary
Headphones, yes.
Courtney
If she had like AirPods in and then had her ear warmers. I. I saw an iPad and I was like, wait, did anybody else see that?
Mary
I did not notice that. That is really, really funny. I will say I really appreciated Georgina this episode. I feel like we saw her full personality. And Courtney, please let us know about her siblings names.
Courtney
Okay, shout out to the juror who DM'd us and was like, twin that's named Georgina and Christina. They have brothers named George and Chris. You guys, Chris, George, Christina, Georgina.
Mary
That is the silliest thing I have ever heard. I am dying.
Courtney
Like, if their parents names aren't like George and Christine or something, like, I swear, like, I need to know the parents names. It has to be something with a G and a C. I'm obsessed with the fact that their names are the same. Just the boy version, the girl version, like, that's amazing.
Mary
So crazy. Christina and Chris and George and Georgina. Yes, that's wild.
Courtney
I love it. And I believe one of the brothers is also a doctor.
Mary
Yeah. A plastic surgeon.
Courtney
Georgina is something else. I think she's very confident. I'm excited for her to get into her dating life.
Mary
It was kind of interesting at the end, her confessional. I feel like we never got to see that part of her saying, like, I was hoping it was gonna work out with the baby daddy. She never said that the entire season.
Courtney
But what would she say? When I'm thinking about it is maybe there wasn't consent from that side as much as was like, hey, yeah, the kids can film with you, but I don't want to talk about our relationship on it. And I appreciated her honesty and vulnerability there, because I do think that there is this want. She was left unexpectedly by him while pregnant, still has this connection to him, still has two kids. Like, they have 18 years together.
Mary
We see each other every day.
Courtney
Yeah. Like, she has to go to his house, and I just was like, I'm sure there's just this hope of, like, God, do you know how easy it would be? Like, my life wouldn't really have to change that much. Like, it would actually make it. It easier.
Mary
Well, and her whole thing is like, I don't want to see my kids 50% of the time. Yeah. Yeah.
Courtney
But I'm excited for her. I thought she looked really great in that confessional too. She had a good spray tan going and, like, a nice blowout. I'm excited for Georgina in season two. I. I just know. I know she's gonna get a little crazy, and I need to see it.
Mary
I would love to see it.
Courtney
I need to see an activated Georgina.
Mary
Well, we kind of saw it at the apple orchard, where she really stepped up to the plate for Lindsay. When Lindsay decides to go into the car because she's too cold, I'm like, so did a producer say, lindsay, can you leave this situation so they can talk about you?
Courtney
She's like, I'm gonna go FaceTime. Frank. You can film my FaceTime with Frank the milkman and how we'll plan a date, and then I'll be in the car. It also looked like it actually was freezing cold, and they had decided that they were gonna have a fire pit moment. And then everyone's like, it's so cold. Like, there' enough blanket. Get me away from this apple orchard. 50 minutes from the house. 5, 0. Just take me back to the city. At this point, I don't want to be here.
Mary
When Amanda was like, so if the apple orchard is closer to the city on the way home. I will be taking an Uber home. Also, why are we in a grocery store again? I. I'm freaking out. We need to stop filming in grocery stores. This is about the third time on this TV show that we saw the inside of a grocery store. I don't want to see the inside of a grocery store. I don't even like going myself, okay? That's why I use Instacart. Don't take me to a grocery store to film.
Courtney
I started thinking about the technicality and the logistics of it. I was like, okay, when they shoot these shows, they have to get filming permits. Because I remember Stasi says right outside my house, there was a notice for it. Cause they were doing something on a street over it, right? And that was there for three or four days before the actual filming day. So they far in advance are figuring out where they're filming, what they're filming, what's going on. And so then they have to go to this grocery store and say, hi, we're from a show. We would like to have our girls come in here and have a conversation about single moms. Can we get a permit to film here? Are you guys okay with that? And I just keep thinking about these logistics that they had to go to a CVS on, like, 5th Ave. In New York City, be like, hi, we'd like to film at, like, 8pm when people are shopping. But we're gonna have a story about the girls ovulating and their dates of November 5th. So, yeah, we need the permit. I'm just like, I just keep thinking about these things, about how they have to go so far in advance to say, another grocery store, please.
Mary
I cannot see another grocery store. I will say it was really interesting when Danielle, like, she's like, warning Whitney, like, you know, so that single mom thing keeps coming up, and then she realizes, oh, Whitney meant what she said, and she's actually doubling down. And she's like, oh, I want to get away from this, because this is not going to be good for you.
Courtney
The music changed, by the way. When Whitney says, well, she has a nanny, the music changed. You just see Danielle inner thoughts, like, on her head, like, nope, nope, nope, nope, no, no. I was trying to help you, but you're on your own.
Mary
I also think that Whitney doesn't understand what a single mom is. She doesn't understand the definition of it. I think in her mind, she thinks, like, a single mom means that there is no dad in the picture and that this woman is providing for the child. Exclusively. It's like, that's not what a single mom is. A single mom is a big term. And, like, everyone has to have help now. Everyone's working.
Courtney
But I also think she thinks, like, when Lindsay's nanny is there, that Lindsay's, like, off having fun. She's like, my nanny's there so I can go work.
Mary
Exactly.
Courtney
She's like, and then she's going to Pilates, and she's getting macho. I do that. I'm a single mom to my dog Whitney, like, doubling down and then turning the story around completely. I was like, how. How did she wiggle her way out of that one?
Mary
Okay. The confrontation in the kitchen was super interesting because Lindsay's like, I didn't play that card.
Courtney
And she's like, but you did. I didn't say I was a single mom. I said, I'm a mom. And they're like, okay, so you are using the. The single mom card. She's like, I'm not using the single mom card. They're like, okay, but you. So you're using the mom card. She's like, yes. I'm like, how strong was that apple cider bourbon at the apple pancake? Because nobody is making sense right now.
Mary
And she's like, and I can play that card whenever I want. And then Whitney starts crying because Lexi chimes in about the nanny comment. And then Gavin's like, lindsay, I'll take over with that knife. And Gavin's like, lindsay, you didn't do anything wrong. And Kenny's like, what the. Gavin, we're best friends. What are you doing here? Why are you even in this conversation?
Michaels Advertiser
You.
Courtney
And they have to go outside where Gavin, like, starts crying.
Mary
Okay. That was, like, a nice moment, though. I really appreciated this with the boys.
Courtney
Oh, I agree. I'm saying I think Gavin literally just thought he was. And I feel like Lindsay has given him reality TV tips. I feel like she said, hey, you need to have conflict with resolution, but you need to have conflict in order to, like, stand out on this show. And then when Kenny's like, bro, what the? Like, what the. You're taking this way too far. That I feel like he's like, oh, I've pushed the boundary. Oh, no. Like, this is brother. And let's take a step back.
Mary
I think when Kenny stated all the facts, he's like, you're literally saying, I hate dogs. You're calling me a fuck boy in front of my girlfriend, and then you're talking shit about her and me.
Courtney
Come on.
Mary
You're supposed to be My brother. And Gavin's like, okay, when you say all those things together, it does feel bad, so I can apologize for that. And then he does and he starts crying and. And I feel like at the end of the day, Gavin is sad to be losing Kenny as a partner in crime and he's like kind of mourning the loss of him potentially getting married to Whitney and they're losing their bromance.
Courtney
Kenny was dating Whitney, she lived in la, so he still got every part of Kenny when he was in a relationship. He probably knows some things. The thing is that made me laugh so hard though, was that when Kenny listed all the things that Gavin has said, the first thing was that he said hated dogs. Like, that was what got him the most, was like you said, I hate dogs. And then Georgina's telling me I hate women.
Mary
That was a bold statement as well at the apple picking.
Courtney
Wait, what's happening here? They hate women. George. I wouldn't go that far.
Mary
That was a stretch.
Courtney
Do you really think that? She's like, well, I was thinking it and I was like, let it out, let it out. Georgina, get Christina on the phone, get George and Chris over. Let it out. Okay, let's take one more break and come back.

okay, I will say this. When, when Lindsay was like, yeah, I like the dark. Me and Kenny's like, lindsay, slow down, cow girl. My girlfriend is right over there. Jesus. That had me cackling so funny.
Courtney
So, so like Kyle didn't get it right away and then once he got it, he was like, yes. Anding into it and he's like, hold on guys, I gotta go start the DJ set. And if there is one thing that Kyle will commit to, it is being a DJ at this point. Like relationships. No DJing. Yes.
Mary
Courtney, I would love to meet up with you somewhere to see Kyle Cook. It's so fun.
Courtney
You want to take a work trip? You want to do an off site

Courtney
I was gonna say summer's around the corner, but we're in it and he's out the house. So I guess we'll have to go to surpludge.
Mary
I think we're going to surpludge. Okay.
Courtney
This friendsgiving, I thought we got a lot of resolution. I like the conversation between Danielle and Lindsay about Owen. Danielle being like, are we moving forward or not? I thought we were. It feels like we're taking steps back. And I thought for Lindsay especially because Lindsay does not apologize a lot.
Mary
Yes.
Courtney
And I thought that she did a really good job of saying, I've seen you in a lot of relationships and I really feel like Owen's a good one. And I like when Danielle too, she's like, he's great. Right?
Chase Sapphire Advertiser
I don't know.
Courtney
They're so cute. I cried, you guys, when they were doing the pregnancy announcements at the end of the episode. I cried at each of them, but especially Danielle's when her mom was like, who's pregnant? I'm so emotional.
Mary
This ending package was very sweet and I, I was brought to tears for all the women. It was very exciting to find out that Yavon is having a boy and then Lexi and Andrea are having a girl. And obviously Danielle has baby Aiden here already. It just was a full circle moment, especially to see Danielle. Cuz we've seen her since an over the pants hand job in a cab with Carl.
Courtney
How far we've come. We didn't even see it. We just heard about it.
Mary
Yeah, that's true.
Courtney
We heard about it for years. It's been, it's been a decade now. About that otphj.
Michaels Advertiser
Yeah.
Courtney
But I think the friends giving was good. I would love to see because I do think like this is Kenny's favorite holiday. He's been doing it for well over a decade. 12 years. So I would love this to be the freedom dinner in the city.
Mary
I think that is a fantast idea.
Courtney
As they were like packing up, I was like, this really was a summer house weekend in winter.
Mary
Yes.
Courtney
It was just them partying, Kyle DJing. I know, they danced all night. I kept thinking too that Lindsay and Kyle, as they were getting drunker and drunkard, they were like, this is what summer house is like. You guys like, no, this is like what we do after the clubs. We come home and Kyle DJs and we will like, dance forever. And we're taking shots and we're drinking. Like, I just felt very much like they were like, no, you guys have to come this summer.
Mary
I would like to see Kenny pop up at. At the summer house this summer.
Courtney
He was with them July 4th weekend. And I thought, Kenny, you just drive a little further and take your shirt off. Well, if he's gonna go in the pool, I don't want him to get his shirt wet. And then he could have potential for drowning. Too much material. And then he's sick, and I need the shirt off.
Mary
I see.
Courtney
Sorry. I'm being safe. Okay, let's talk about Kyle and Amanda. We get this interview from Kyle, like, as they're leaving, because the next morning, he's never seen Amanda up at 7:45am
Mary
you guys, because she's like, I need to get the out of here.
Courtney
And when they give this interview look from him, he's says exactly what we've been saying. This is the first time I've realized this is it. And he's like, I might have provoked it, but she made the first move. And I don't know that I would have. And that's what we've been saying is, like, someone had to. And she took the step. You said it last week. I don't know that Kyle would have ever done it.
Mary
Yeah, this is good that this happened. And then we. We go back to the pickup scene on April 9, and Kyle's like, you lied to me. You left me for Wes. And she's like, no, I am going to debunk that. Did you feel sorry for her here or what was your feelings?
Courtney
I had empathy for. Because I do think when she was talking about leaving her house and the hate she's receiving, whether it's sending death threats on a dm, I could see someone going up to her in public and yelling at her. I could see the whole thing happen. I think that there are some people who take things way too far.
Mary
I think also to feel like there's eyes on you out is kind of creepy.
Courtney
Totally. And that's that level of, like, parasocial where it's like, I don't know what's going on, who's watching me. We make fun of her having that scarf over her head. But she's like, I don't want people to see me. I want to feel some sense of normaly by going out and not staying in my house. I have to live a normal life. But then if I go out, people are looking at me. And if I stay In I'm Left Alone with my Thoughts, she asked Kyle,
Mary
like, hey, could we get dinner sometime? And then she adds in the Sally part, which was pretty funny. But I also appreciated what Kyle said. He's like, I definitely didn't make things better in the marriage. I made it worse. I don't know if I was self sabotaging. I don't know if I was crying out for help. I don't know if I was spiraling. But, like, I'm not proud of the last six months, the last year of the marriage. I like that accountability.
Courtney
You know what's crazy, though, Mary? The honest conversation that they're having with each other. I'm like, why couldn't you guys have this throughout? They're both being very vulnerable to each other right now in this scene. And I'm like, if you guys could have done this throughout, you guys would be in such a different place now that this weight has been lifted off of both of their shoulders. Their. They're feeling pretty easy to say whatever it is that they want. Which is wild, because when they were together, they should have been able to say whatever it is that they want to each other with respect, with love. And yet it's happening now. And maybe some people really are just better as friends than lovers.
Mary
Oh, I don't think Amanda hates Kyle anymore. She hated him when she was married to him.
Courtney
That's a great point.
Mary
Now she's like, I don't have to deal with him anymore, so I want to be his friend. He has been. Been a great friend to me, but he wasn't a great husband to me. And I am free of that now. So I do want him in my life still. Because they know so much about each other, I actually do think they're going to be good friends still. I mean, they're still going to share the dogs. I think probably a lot of things are tied up with one another. Yeah. I think they'll be attached to each other for a very long time. They might be one of those couples that becomes very good friends and is around each other all the time. I could see it.
Courtney
I was wondering, because I thought when we were told that they posted the joint statement that they were on the phone together when they did it. And when she says, I posted it on both of our accounts, I was like, okay, so Amanda has access to Kyle's Instagram. Does she go through his dms?
Tim Speng
Oh,
Wayfair/Nuuly/Butcherbox/Experian/Quince Advertiser
me.
Courtney
Because wasn't it that they were on the phone together and they posted it? But then she's like, I posted it on our accounts. I'm glad we got this to do this together in this weird mess up way. And I was like, wait, were they in person? She did it from his phone or did she have access to his account? I'm like, and is that how she's finding out about dms and she can't actually say that at the time is because she's going through his account? Maybe, maybe I just wanted to make up some conspiracies.
Mary
I don't even think that's that big of a conspiracy. Cuz that is interesting. How was she able to. Maybe they had one iPad, you know what I mean? Like you share the iPad and they were both logged into the Instagram. Okay.
Courtney
I'm assuming he gave her access to his account. But I thought what this conversation also gave too is reasoning of why Kyle has been defending Amanda in a way not so much recently, but in the beginning was because he has 10 years with her. I think he has seen her, her high highs, her low lows. And when she says I'm scared to leave my house, I feel like he actually really understands Zach. She's like, isn't it crazy how lover boy is doing so well now? And he's like, because they hate me. She's like, I know. I don't think they hate you. And she's, they hate me.
Mary
Yeah. She knew. She knew and they do. It's such a weird situation and I think I'm happy at the end of the day if they can remain friends. I still don't think she's like acknowledged the Sierra part enough. All she says is, I'm not downplaying anything I did and how fucked up up that was to my friendship. But I think she is downplaying it well.
Courtney
I also think it's funny that she didn't say West's name minus like the double date and she didn't say Sierra's name. Both of them kind of just referred to them as these entities until it was like, oh, we could go on a double date. Wouldn't that be fun? Sally's hooked up with Wes too. It is this weird, this weird circle of friends here. More than friends. Get me Andy and a camera. I need to watch it.
Mary
Could you imagine watching that double date? That would be insane. Kyle will film with anyone and I actually think that him and Wes will pop up sooner than we think together.
Courtney
I think for a lot of these shows on Bravo, I think it's very hard to find men to film that are relatively likable. That will test well with the audience or fill a role in, like a villain capacity where they'll, like, test well in that regard. And so I feel like when Bravo finds men that are willing to do this and get propelled up by this female fan base and like, we like them, whatever, that they want to do a lot that they can to keep
Mary
them around the people left at summer house. I'm a little bit nervous about, like, Jesse Solomon. He needs a sidekick.
Courtney
He needs to be the sidekick.
Mary
Yes, exactly. Exactly. Kj, he is incredible. I love watching him. I'm excited to watch him with Sierra and Mia. But we need a Kyle Cook replacement and we need a West replacement.
Courtney
Yeah, I agree. Because I think that there's something about these Alpha party guys, and I don't necessarily want KJ or Jesse to feel like they have to fill that role too. I think there's also going to be a lot of pressure. So I'm curious who these newbies are because I assume that they're going to be testing a lot of men throughout this season to try to get them on the show because if they wanted to go another season or two or three or whatever, you do have to have that anchor that born for reality TV star.
Mary
Completely, completely. And they. They also have to have a Lindsay replacement.
Courtney
Mia could be that. I think Mia's been fantastic.
Mary
She is wonderful. Yes.
Courtney
I think Sierra right now is the replacement. But if she does well in Dancing with the Stars and all these different offers keep coming through, I just. Just don't see where she needs to be. It's something like you mentioned yesterday, like, you'd rather see her in the city. You'd rather see her.
Mary
I think she's gonna walk away from the summer house. And also they deserve to have a summer off.
Courtney
No, no, they can have a different season off. But I just started thinking, I was like, this is actually a great last season for Sierra if she wants it, because, okay, she had the bedbug season and then that was like Paige's sign off. What's she gonna be like in the house without Paige? And she had the best time, but then it was tainted by this whole Amanda west thing. She let west back in, he disappointed again, and then it's kind of like that bad taste in the mouth. Now she has the capability to have this summer free, able to do whatever it is that she wants without any tethers. She gets to be like the star.
Mary
Right. I think she's gonna be still very emotional.
Courtney
Oh, I do too. I guess I'm just saying she gets to write her ending.
Mary
I hope. I hope that for her and I hope she gets to go to in the city. What do you think is going to happen first? Will Kyle and West hang out at something together, just the two of them or Kyle, Wes and Amanda at the same thing? What's going to happen first?
Courtney
The Emmys, baby. All at the same time.
Mary
Time. You might be right. You might be right.
Courtney
See you in September also. See you tomorrow. Okay, bye.
