Mary
Welcome back to two Judgy Girls. This is Mary from the Bay and
Courtney
it's Courtney from la. Can I be honest? What this is the second day since the World cup spin Over. And I don't. I don't know what to do with myself. It's like I'm not watching three games a day. I'm, like, left with my thoughts.
Mary
Oh, no. Draws.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
Yes.
Courtney
I have withdrawals.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
It's tough.
Courtney
It's like, g. What am I supposed to do?
Mary
Live a life. I'm so, so sorry for you.
Courtney
Thank you.
Mary
Well, I feel like you could watch House of Stasi. That's going to be coming out soon. I'm looking forward to this one. What were your thoughts on the preview?
Courtney
The trailer looked good. I enjoy seeing familiar faces. Christina Kelly is going to be more present than that final season of Vanderpump or whatever it was when she popped in. She's always been kind of a side character throughout the Vanderpump days, but it seems like she has a central role now. I love that Katie didn't join the Valley, and we're going to see her here. I was always a Katie fan, even when it wasn't popular to be, nor was it ever. I don't know that it ever was popular to be a Katie fan, but I have always liked her and I like that her and Stassi have clearly gone through ups and downs in their friendships. And I know Katie is Hartford's godmother, but they obviously took time apart from each other, and now it feels like they are getting their friendship back to a better place. And so I'm interested to watch that dynamic because it feels like when you watch these shows, we know them for so long, well, quote, unquote, know them. What about you? Did you like it?
Mary
I cannot believe we haven't seen her essentially telling her own story. I think her being on Hula was a bit different under, like, the Lisa Vanderpump umbrella. This is completely her show. They are going to break the fourth wall a lot. Her fighting with Beau, our former March Madness winner. But I thought that was crazy. When he was like, we're not talking about that on camera kind of thing. I was like, oh, what are we not talking about? She's like, we signed up for this. This is my life. I'm, like, intrigued.
Courtney
Me.
Mary
I was excited.
Courtney
I'll definitely be checking it out for sure.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
And I just think if we're going
Courtney
to follow people on the Valley, then I want to follow them on House of Stassi too.
Mary
Right. I also. I think Stassi looks better than ever. Her hair color is gorgeous right now. I like her style. She is kind of an it girl, if you ask me.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
Okay.
Mary
You don't like, her style.
Courtney
Oh, I. I just don't know if I. If she's an it girl to me.
Mary
Okay. That's.
Courtney
She's always had a very similar style, which is like a J. Crew. Like a monotone, kind of like a business casual.
Mary
Like an express girl from day to night.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
No, like, she's always been like, a
Courtney
jean shorts and like, a collared shirt with, like, Chanel flat. She kind of rotated whatever collared shirt color she was feeling that day. And it's like those Chanel flats that were like the navy blue toe with the tan sling back. Do you know what I'm talking about?
Mary
I know, exactly. I love her polished look, so I
Podcast Guest/Co-host
just feel like she's always done a
Courtney
different version of that.
Mary
Okay. Yeah.
Courtney
Which works for her.
Mary
I agree. I agree. Will you be watching Real Housewives of London comes out tonight?
Podcast Guest/Co-host
I think so. I think, like, we need to dip
Courtney
our toes into it and see if we like it. Maybe it's worth recapping. I've heard from people who were able to watch it via hiu. They used a VPN and people seem to like it.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
So I would love to put it
Courtney
out to you guys if you're going to watch it.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
Should we recap it?
Courtney
Thoughts, comments, questions, concerns on it? I feel like there's this line I keep hearing that's like, go back to Paddington. And I know it's not about the bear, so I need to know what that's about.
Mary
Yeah, I will give it a shot.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
And this is also an unpopular opinion,
Courtney
but I like Juliet from Ladies of London, the original. I know you didn't watch it, but she was always a firecracker to me. And so I want to see what she's like on this show in a different caliber, different type of cast, see how she fares.
Mary
Yeah. I think it's smart to have a familiar face.
Courtney
Yeah. Let us know if we should recap it.
Mary
Yeah. Exciting news. Naomi officially has a husband. I haven't seen wedding photos, but I saw her post on social media.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Like, my husband.
Mary
But, you know, marriage is out.
Courtney
I'm, like, worried that people are going to think something's going on with you and Michael. So if you could just make sure to tell people everything's good with you and Michael. You're grandfathered into marriage, but for future marriages, you're saying it's out.
Mary
I just think it's a funny thing to say. Michael and I are doing great.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
I just think it's funny.
Courtney
Mary told me today she's actually watching a Burning man documentary and I assume Michael suggested that one.
Mary
I am saving that for the Patreon because I want to talk all about it.
Courtney
Oh, I cannot wait. I saw Bethany's going this year.
Mary
I Beth for the Patreon. I can't wait to talk about it.
Courtney
But I just find the funny circle, social circle going back to Naomi is like. Naomi is married to Brooks Nader's ex husband. I don't know if you remember, but then there was. I watch what happens live that Craig and Brooks were on together and it's like this small circle that's always happening. And I heard he's loaded.
Mary
I wouldn't be surprised. Good for her. That's exciting. Where do they live? Do they live in New York? I made that up. Question.
Courtney
I don't know. I, I, I don't know enough, but I know that I feel like they got married in the south of France. It looks like. And like. Oh, my God, please share pictures. I feel like it was pro. Gorgeous.
Mary
I'd imagine it's exciting. Did anyone make it?
Courtney
Brad from Southern Hospitality. Brad and Julia. They were there. And then I saw the girl that runs. Was it Gwen's?
Mary
Oh, yes.
Courtney
You know who I'm talking about.
Mary
I know. Like, she kind of always had a little bit of gray in her hair sometimes.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
Oh, God, heaven forbid she ages.
Mary
I just always noticed that. Didn't you notice that? Yeah, sure, Yeah.
Courtney
I mean, she's just not like me who's like, looking in the mirror being like, is anything sticking out? Gotta tweeze it out.
Mary
Do you take them out?
Courtney
Yeah, I don't want natural highlights.
Mary
I, I've never found one yet, but
Courtney
it's because the blonde. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You can mask it a little bit more. Oh, she's looking, she's looking.
Mary
I, I don't think I've had any. I was worried after I had Charlie because I hear things can change, but yeah, we're okay.
Courtney
Yeah, I mean, I'm sure there's like one.
Mary
No, there's no way.
Courtney
Okay, sorry. You're right. For a teen mom, you couldn't have any grays.
Mary
Okay, let's talk about Shep a little bit too. Speaking of Southern charm, it sounds like he's doing his press tour for his Ayahuasca book. He's like, my rock bottom was when Andy Cohen and that. And that's like, literally what started the book. Like, basically, he was so bad at BravoCon in 2023 that his rehab, which was actually taking a drug.
Courtney
You gotta fight fire with fire.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
The only way out is through yeah.
Mary
The wise words of Lizzie Hubbard. She said that to Amanda in the one on one talk. Oh, it's like that book, that children's book, like going on a bear hunt home. Can't get out of it. Can't get under it. Can't you gotta go through or like something like that. I don't know.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
I.
Courtney
Sorry. Unfortunately, I'm not familiar here. Fortunately or unfortunately I'm not familiar with the children.
Mary
I would say fortunately.
Courtney
My favorite thing about Mary and being a mom is the realism.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
I think it's so lovely because like,
Courtney
obviously you love your child. Obviously. How do you not love little Charles over there?
Mary
Of course.
Courtney
But you also are so honest with what it's like to be a mom that it's.
Mary
I think it's really hard.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
Yeah. I think you're doing a great job.
Mary
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I just, I didn't anticipate it being this hard. I was naive, you guys. I thought I was a teacher. I, I would have 32 kids in one classroom. But he's not five yet. So. I think it will get easier. Yeah, I, I hope it gets easier.
Courtney
I think like once they're out of the house, you're gonna thrive.
Mary
I'm gonna be like Vicki Gumbelson showing up with a 30 rack of Coors lights and where's the party?
Courtney
Where's the party, Mary? We're gonna do our girls trip.
Mary
That's gonna be.
Courtney
The girls trip is going to be to the kids colleges.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
And doing that, we're like, you don't have a scheduled parents weekend, but it's
Courtney
this one keg stand.
Mary
Auntie Coco is going to teach you how to do a keg stand.
Courtney
Don't reveal my secrets. Oh, God, I can't wait for that.
Mary
Only 18 more years.
Courtney
Well, 17 maybe.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
He'll be a child prodigy and he'll go at 13.
Courtney
Well, that's not legal though.
Mary
I don't think so. I, I not seeing that. I don't see the prodigy. Okay, the Roni trailer dropped. Honestly, it looks good.
Courtney
Here's the thing. It's because of all the newbies.
Mary
Yes. But it looks like there's going to be a lot of Aaron and Jessel. Then it looks like Jessel has a situation with her husband.
Courtney
Her husband? Or you think it's going to be like her dad or somebody else and they want us to think it's poverty.
Mary
I could see Pavitt just kind of dishing out for a couple days and going on a vacation for like a chicken wing.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
Not the wingman.
Mary
Okay. The Carol Epstein files. That looks crazy.
Courtney
Carol's still driving that red Jeep after all these years. She literally had that when she was on the show. And I love that Jeep because I had a baby blue one.
Mary
And she references the Five Summers and
Courtney
the Steven Tyler lookalike contest.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
Also. Is she full time? It seems like she's full time.
Mary
She's full time. She's full time. I kind of got goosebumps and chills. There feels like there's going to be a lot of drama. The lavender marriage.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
Was that John Goslin's ex or is
Courtney
that Martha Stewart's makeup girl? We get Martha, who does not appreciate a store bought pie.
Mary
Right?
Alltrails Advertiser
I.
Mary
It looks good. I. I couldn't kind of tell those two apart in the trailer.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
Daisy.
Mary
There is a Daisy and she's the makeup artist.
Courtney
And then who's the brunette, the newbie?
Mary
I'm not sure.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
I it honestly, I watched this and
Courtney
I was like, this is an extended trailer. It's very long. I was into it. I know they really want to center this show around Aaron. I understand. I don't need it centered around her. I think there's enough drama with the other women. We didn't reference size, divorce or Separation. I thought that was going to be featured. Maybe it'll be towards the end. Please don't pick up cameras for it though.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
It's okay if you guys didn't catch it.
Courtney
We'll get it the next season. Don't worry about picking up cameras. We can address it on the reunion, but everyone seems that they came to play completely.
Mary
I mean, Carol is in the center. Obviously she filmed and they were like, we're actually going to make you full time.
Courtney
So do you think she said, do you think she said, if you guys are going to bring up Epstein, then I need to be full time?
Mary
I mean, maybe there was just enough stuff to talk about. Also, Sai looks like she is going off in this trailer multiple times.
Courtney
The queefing moment that felt like it was the Tamra line. Are your lips jealous of the shit that comes out of your ass? That she said to Gretchen just like repackaged.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
It's like, okay, Psy.
Courtney
You could tell she's probably going through something at home the way that she's coming after everyone. I also am like, what did producers tell them? You guys made the cut. You better deliver. I also just love Jessel. I've loved Jessel since the beginning.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
So I'm like, I don't want people coming after Jessal.
Mary
I know it feels like Jessal's not going to have that much of a storyline. Like you said, the newbies seem to be bringing, I mean this lavender marriage. I recently heard about that though, so that feels exciting to me.
Courtney
You've never heard of a lavender marriage?
Mary
I went on this TikTok journey of how like Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are in a lavender marriage.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
Goodbye. Anyways, the trailer looks bomb.
Courtney
I am weirdly excited for it.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
Wow.
Courtney
Bravo.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
You guys did it. It took three seasons of this new version of Roni, but I'm hooked.
Mary
I'm guessing that island vacation's gonna be about five episodes.
Courtney
Fine. September 8th we're ready.
Mary
Can't wait. We will be there.
Courtney
Let's take a break and come back within the city.

Mary
Okay Overall thoughts about this reunion okay,
Courtney
Something that really makes me laugh when they do a clubhouse reunion is that they let you know it's a Watch what Happens Live special.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
They don't let you know it's just a reunion.
Courtney
Welcome to the in the city reunion.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
They have to make sure that they put the photo up that it is in Watch what Happens live. This is going to take place of
Courtney
Watch what Happens Live for the day and you guys are in the clubhouse.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
And Andy, he loves a season one reunion.
Mary
It felt very like janky and low budget 10 years ago. Even the music they had going throughout and the interstitials I thought it was so low budge, but I kind of loved it. And I also feel like this tight space and stadium seating, it made them, like, feisty and felt like they were closer to fight or something. It felt like they were really trying to create some drama. And I think it was because the space was so tight.
Courtney
Now, was it they or one Lindsay Hubbard?
Mary
Now, Courtney, I didn't know if you were gonna come around.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
So wait, here's the thing.
Courtney
I love Lindsay Hubbard. I think she's a hard worker. I think she is chronically online. I think if I were her boss, I would say she over delivers. She is excited succeeding.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
She should get a promotion for the
Courtney
amount of work that she has put in.
Mary
Okay.
Courtney
However, I do think she's putting a little bit upon herself to try to make something happen. And when you're going so hard and it's not coming back the same amount, it looks like you're just doing too much. So, like her saying, like, I almost threw up, it's like, Lindsay. And then you cried for six month.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
Lindsay.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Honestly, when she said I cried for
Mary
six months comment, it. It almost seemed like, well, it affected you so much because you kind of believed what she was saying.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Oh,
Mary
no. Is that crazy to think?
Courtney
Like, it sat with her for a while and she was like, is who I am? Oh, thank God the scandal happened so I could capitalize on that. Instead, I was like, lindsay, the show I think is good. I think she thinks she needs to do whatever she can to save it for a season two. And I think that they would be crazy to not give it a two.
Mary
It would be heartbreaking not to get a season two.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
And a lot of those people are
Courtney
still considered cheap right now to pay. Right? It's always those first couple of seasons, which is like why ladies of London isn't coming back. I don't understand.
Mary
Marco.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
Marco.
Courtney
Okay, it was debunked.
Mary
I don't know. Margot was on Jeff Lewis, and Jeff Lewis was asking all about it, and she was kind of shady with her
Courtney
answers, but Micah denied it.
Mary
That's what Micah heard from Margot.
Alltrails Advertiser
Okay.
Courtney
Keep the conspiracy going.
Mary
Keep it going, Keep it going. I never liked her. I. I always knew because she didn't live in London.
Courtney
Don't you? Meredith marks me, girl. But I think having them be cheap. I think you could bring in Carl. Honestly, you guys, you're gonna hate me to say this, but I thought this was a good reunion performance from Amanda. And I was like, she could come back if they're monogamous.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
I I don't know. I.
Courtney
There's something about leaning into the villain part of it that I wouldn't hate,
Podcast Guest/Co-host
and everyone's gonna hate me for saying
Courtney
that, but there is some sort of storyline there. She seemed in much better spirits here than where we left her at the reunion of Summer House.
Mary
Her still pretending that she wasn't acting the way she was because of the amount of drugs she was on pissed me off. She's like, no, no, no. Yes. I was on some beta blockers, but I just disengage and disassociate when people are coming at me. But I also didn't like my performance because I got very defensive. So I'm like, so what is it? You disengaged or you got defensive? That's two different things. And I did think it was really funny that she was like, I did my own hair by makeup and my styling, so if anyone hates it, they can hate me more.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
I didn't have that. I just thought she came off much better here.
Courtney
I think also, too, is with space, with time, with people who aren't necessarily directly affected by it, because only two other people on that cast have lived in the house with her for 10 years, that it's a little bit of a different vibe completely.
Mary
And I think she's also feeling pretty secure in the relationship. I felt like she was kind of confident in the relationship more at this reunion than at the original reunion. I mean, when Andy asks about that spit bomb, you guys, it was an olive pit. Come on.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
You don't spit all of pits into your partner's mouth. Okay, I'm the weird one.
Mary
What did you think about when he asked the I love you question? She seemed to not know what to say, and I feel like they are saying it. Did you get that vibe?
Podcast Guest/Co-host
Illy?
Courtney
I'm like, isn't it just like, ily? People are saying illy. Is that what the kids say?
Mary
That's what the kids say, apparently.
Courtney
I don't think that they're saying, I love you. I think Wes says it the way that he says it to everyone. Like, I love you. Like, of course I love you. But it's not like a meaningful, like, I'm in love with you. It's like, of course I love you.
Mary
Right, Right.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
And I also don't think that they
Courtney
are in love at this point. And if they're saying it, well, it's gonna crash and burn.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
And look, at the end of the
Courtney
day, it is gonna crash and burn.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
And I do feel like I need
Courtney
to watch that I feel like it's
Mary
gonna last a bit longer.
Courtney
Well, they have to.
Mary
I imagine it going through the holidays.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
I agree.
Courtney
Like, I think that there is a timeline on it, but at the end of the day, I don't think that they're going to be getting married. I don't think that's on the table.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
Maybe. I mean, he wants to be in
Courtney
her backyard in three years. Not theirs, but hers. I think in this space too is like, the reason she maybe feels more confident is because Kyle probably is the only one who knows semi details about what's going on within this cast because they seem like they're in a really good place together. And I like too. I actually liked where their relationship seemingly was like they're both kind of bad guys in a good way.
Mary
I loved their dynamic. Amanda, I love hearing about Kyle kissing other girls like this.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Sally's situation.
Mary
What is the sober sex situation? Did they never have sober sex?
Podcast Guest/Co-host
Well, he said kind of like wasn't as wasted as I usually am. But I was looking at it though.
Courtney
Outside of maybe Lindsay and Kyle and partially Danielle is like that cast. Those people aren't her friends. Those are her co workers and those are Kyle's friends. Whereas in Summer House she couldn't necessarily deny that these people weren't her friends, even though she wanted to treat it that way.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
It was like, those people know you
Courtney
so much more because they're living in a house with you. You guys are any each other's business for 10 years, some of the cast members, eight, five, whatever it was. And so there's a little different dynamic with this cast of her being like, none of these people are my friend.
Mary
No. Maybe Lindsay was sure.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
But I just mean in the sense
Courtney
of like, that she was able to tell her story more without anybody having to necessarily be like, that's not true. Because they don't know.
Mary
Even like Danielle kind of chimed in at the beginning when Andy asked about the situation. Even his opening was like, when Kyle and Amanda's marriage went south, she went west. Amanda, how are things going? And then I. I don't know. There's something so silly about it. You know, it's like camp, like, it's
Podcast Guest/Co-host
just so ridiculous because at the end of the day it's like this thing happened.
Courtney
You betrayed people. And now we're still watching the follow up. And I really do think that people have learned from Scandival is like, you can only hate for so long where it becomes uncomfortable. You can have disdain and dislike and not want to be close to that Person, but being civil is part of the process.
Mary
Right, right, right. But Danielle, like, quickly chimed in about it. But Danielle was never in the house with West. Correct?
Courtney
Uh, I believe she was a friend of.
Mary
Okay, yeah.
Courtney
And she was definitely stayed there a weekend or two because CEO and founder of what?
Mary
Exactly. Exactly.
Courtney
Yeah.
Mary
Um, but Danielle was like, I was
Sponsor/Ad Voice
so disappointed in it.
Mary
And, like, going to Italy was doubling down. Georgina steps in and was basically like, yeah, like, you actually can step away from this. Like, you don't have to date the guy.
Courtney
I didn't like what Georgina said because
Podcast Guest/Co-host
what Amanda was saying was like, obviously,
Courtney
like, I can't change the past. Because Danielle's like, I wish you would have not gone into this relationship. I wish she would have taken.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
And what she was saying, too, was,
Courtney
like, personal to you, Amanda. I wish you would have taken time for yourself.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
Who is Amanda Batula?
Courtney
Outside of Kyle Cook, who are you? When you're not attached to someone, take time to fix yourself before looking for somebody else to fix you. Because somebody else can't fix you if you're not willing to fix yourself.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
Right.
Courtney
And so when she said that in a personal thought, I liked that Danielle said that. And then Amanda's like, obviously, I can't take back what I did.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
So then when Georgina's like, well, you can. It's like, not really because it's in
Courtney
the past, which is what Amanda said.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
Like, Georgina is saying, you could change the future.
Courtney
Like, you can solve it. But at this point, I'm thinking, like, no, she can't. I think she really has to commit to Wes. Because I've been thinking, okay, if they end this whole thing, because the whole thing is so dumb. The fact that they didn't even, quote, unquote, sleep together until after the statement, it's like, you guys didn't have to do anything then. If you're going to commit, go all the way at this point because you have nobody.
Mary
Right, Right. Right. Well, they are all in. And Nick makes the point, like, this guy is, like, 10 times worse than Kyle. And Amanda has to stand 10 toes down. And she's like, no, I'm getting such
Courtney
great support from him.
Mary
That's what was missing between me and Kyle and his actions and the way Wes talks to me. And Kyle's like, who does your taxes? Who negotiates your brand deals? Who makes your bed? She never makes her bed.
Courtney
Do you make your bed every morning?
Mary
Every morning? Yeah. Yeah, yeah.
Courtney
But I don't have a lot of stuff on my bed, but I just feel like it actually Starts my day off of feeling organized because nothing else is getting organized for the rest of the day.
Mary
Of course, of course.
Courtney
Guys, I can't, like, I'm not trying to defend Amanda here. That and I feel crazy. I feel, I feel upside down. Like me, Tamara, Amanda, and whether he has ulterior motives or not, I'm sure Wes is being nice to her. And I think that she was looking for support from Kyle even though they were equally like magnets to each other, but like dispelling each other. West is saying the nice things to her that she wants to hear. I feel like when she was with Kyle, her self esteem took such a beating because they were so unhappy with each other that having a guy be nice to you probably just feels really good.
Mary
And I like how she explained I was so done with that relationship. That's why it was easy for me to move on quickly because I had already mourned the loss of our relationship like a while back.
Courtney
Both of them, to be honest, whether Kyle realizes it or not, he had mourned that he had moved on from that too. I think both of them had just become a sunken cost fallacy where it was like, we're stuck here and we're stuck together until this show is over. And once the show is over, maybe we'll go our separate ways. But until then, one of us has to make the move. And it wasn't going to be Kyle.
Mary
No, Amanda made that first move. But I, I do appreciate that they are good buddies. They feel like they are talking to each other all the time on the phone. She's like, I had to call you about your tippy toes with Megan King Edmond. I think that's very, very silly. And it's so interesting that Kyle really isn't mad at Amanda. He is asked the question and he says, no, I'm more mad at West. And it's fascinating.
Courtney
He feels more betrayed by Wes, which is like we're like, oh my God, the betrayal of Amanda and Kyle.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
And I think too, it's like, obviously
Courtney
there's time, there's self reflection and there's ways to look back at like, what did I do wrong? What did they do wrong? And then they keep bringing up these like cheating rumors. So I start thinking about that too. It's like, okay, Kyle did bad things, so he's trying to course correct at the end of it, right? Like, oh my God, I can't believe I did all this stuff. And I feel like that's why he's been so supportive of her too, because he's like, I taking fault in the end of our relationship. But at the same time, they really are both the villains. And that's why they can laugh about it. When those pictures after the reunion came out of them, like, hysterically laughing outside after watching this, I was like, that's
Podcast Guest/Co-host
because they're like, we both suck.
Mary
They're buds. They're buds. I feel like they really are going to be in each other's lives forever.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
Well, someone's got to do her taxes. I don't know about making the bed, but taxes and the brand deals.
Courtney
I do think he has a lot of guilt for the end of the relationship, but he wants her to be like, self sufficient. I wouldn't be surprised if she's like, kyle, can you help me negotiate this deal? And he's like, I'll take 10%. She's like, take whatever you want.
Mary
I don't even care.
Courtney
I could see him being like her,
Podcast Guest/Co-host
like de facto manager.
Mary
You're totally right. You're totally right. Let's talk about all his different hookups, because I feel like they were alluding to Ava Dash. What do you think?
Podcast Guest/Co-host
That's what I was wondering.
Courtney
When she said 10 years younger than me but had the reading comprehension level of somebody older, I said, well, ava dash is 26, Amanda's 35. That makes sense to me. Was that the sober sex?
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Maybe.
Mary
I don't know. And then we should have known the Lala situation was from Sally.
Courtney
We thought that, though.
Mary
We said that Lala and Sally started their own kind of sex podcast, if you will.
Courtney
Can I be honest about Lala? I need her to choose Elaine.
Mary
I don't think she has sex well,
Podcast Guest/Co-host
but that's what I'm saying.
Courtney
She either talks about how she's like so celibate, she hates men, then she's like, I'm the most sexual. I'm doing BJ's for PJ's. It's like, are you one, are you the other? And not that you have to, but it feels very opposite ends of the spectrum.
Mary
I. I agree with that. I can't say I will ever listen to this podcast.
Courtney
No, I wish them the best. An unlikely duo, to be honest.
Mary
Agreed.
Courtney
What podcast does Lala have now? One with her brother, one with the ex wife, and now one with Sally.
Mary
Yes, yes.
Courtney
A lot of income streams. Yes, she sure does.
Mary
And thank God we have her on the Valley. I still need to send her the note. The thank you note, hand handwritten. Dear Lala Kent, thank you for saving this season of the Valley, you are the voice of reason. I hate Danny and Nia just as much as you do. You want to come on, two judgy girls, question mark. Right back. Love, Mary.
Courtney
Circle Y N.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
Okay, let's take a
Courtney
break and talk about Kyle in detail.

We haven't settled who the favorite brother is either.

So when they're talking about his hookups too, are we acknowledging that there were hookups during the marriage? This is what I can't figure out. It feels like this unspoken secret, but everybody seems to be in a good place. So it's not a big deal. But it is a big deal. But maybe it was earlier in the
Podcast Guest/Co-host
marriage, but, like, then there were things
Courtney
that were happening with all these makeouts.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
I'm like, this is kind of hard
Courtney
for me to follow.
Mary
There was. Overall, at this reunion, I feel like a lot of talking over each other and it was kind of hard to follow because it was too tight of a space. I genuinely think that. I think next week we're gonna hear more of the claims from Amanda herself about the hookups. I think Lindsay knows something too. And knowing Lindsay, I'm surprised she doesn't completely come out with it because it feels like she isn't holding anything back. She did expose him years and years and years ago.
Courtney
And then they got engaged.
Mary
Right.
Courtney
Same summer, like weeks later. It's just, yeah, like, what does everybody know? Lindsay's always been Kyle's friend. And then I think when they separated, Lindsay gravitated towards Amanda because she could see how beaten up from the summer, emotionally Amanda was gravitated towards that. And then this scandal happens. Like, I gotta put an arm's length. Lindsay said she hasn't talked to Amanda since this reunion.
Mary
Right, Right.
Courtney
So then I'm like, well, is she thinking that because Amanda's not coming back to the show, I always feel like the show is in the back of her mind of like, what completely, like, hitch my horse to. Is that the saying, you guys?
Mary
Sure.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
Yeah.
Courtney
Yeah.
Mary
Well, apparently a milkman. I was shocked to hear she was still hooking up with the milkman. What was that?
Courtney
I love that.
Mary
For her. It's just like a fun hookup.
Courtney
I think she's just having fun. Do you think she purposely wore Minion yellow for the cross promotion of NBC Universal's Minions Part 7?
Mary
Yes, I do. I do. It was very strategic and I wish she could say more about Turner. I feel like she's definitely hiding something about this Turner situation. And she doesn't want to go there because of custody. And she does probably have like a good co parenting relationship.
Courtney
I don't think they do, Mary. I don't think they do have a good co parenting. I think she thinks he's a good father because he's a good father, but they do not co parent well together is what I'm gathering.
Mary
She's like, oh, I hope he's getting laid. He'd be nicer. She says a great father. But she really can never go into detail about Turner. You can tell she's feisty about it.
Courtney
The delivery of he's a good father for me felt like there was something more. Obviously, as you said, she can't talk about it, but it was like, I would love to know more detail. I don't think we'll ever know more detail. We have to wait 18 years. Keep her on TV for 18 years. Okay.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
Yeah, yeah.
Mary
Do you think because she's a mom, she feels superior in this group?
Podcast Guest/Co-host
No, I think she feels superior in this group because it's her show. Because she has the longevity of a reality star because she was the one who pitched this. And I think she doesn't like Kenny and Whitney because they were not part of her original casting and they found
Courtney
them through Kyle and that annoys her.
Mary
Okay. Okay. I could also, honestly, would Kenny and Lindsay make a great couple?
Podcast Guest/Co-host
You know, I've said this, that I thought Lindsay had a crush on him. Their chemistry is wild.
Courtney
I know it would.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
It would.
Courtney
It would blow up so fast. But they would have a really good hookup.
Mary
I'd agree with that.
Courtney
It'd be like hate sex. And they will be thinking about that night for the rest of their lives.
Mary
When they did the flashback to Kenny and Kyle talking like that original scene, he wasn't as cute then. He got cuter in the season and I don't know what it is.
Courtney
Oh, I thought he was cute then. But he was wearing those slip ons and I really hate a slip on shoe on a man. And that's shallow.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
But I'm off the deep end.
Mary
How do you feel about sandals on guys
Courtney
at a beach on Vacant?
Mary
On vacay?
Courtney
On Vacay is fine. You're on vacation.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
Let those dogs breathe.
Mary
If they're running errands, can they wear a sandal?
Courtney
Like, are you talking about like a slide? Like after athletes slide? Like, you know those adidas slides you'd wear after soccer? Are you talking about like a thong flip flop? Like, which it has to be a rainbow.
Mary
For me personally, I'm talking about a thong flip flop.
Courtney
Oh, like. Like a plastic one. Throw that shit away.
Mary
No, Jesse Lolly, look.
Courtney
Oh, God, no. They were gonna wear a beanie too.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
Like, you can't have winter on top and summer on the bottom. It doesn't work like that. I don't like it. No, but that's me being shallow. Thank God marriage is out. What about you? You like a flip flop? Oh, man.
Courtney
No, no.
Mary
I mean, acceptable times to wear them. Yes. Yeah, exactly.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
Yeah.
Mary
Don't try to run your errands in them. That's nasty.
Courtney
No, just. It takes you two more seconds to tie up your shoe. Yeah, I will also wear a shoe as well. Unless it's my rothy clog.
Mary
Honestly, you're obsessed with the rothy cloth.
Courtney
I am. They. They could wear. They could wear maybe a Birkenstock clog with pants.
Mary
I thought you hate Birkenstocks.
Courtney
I do know a Birkenstock clog.
Mary
Oh, got it.
Courtney
And you guys, I know I'm the problem. I am the problem.
Mary
Okay, let's move on. Let's talk a little bit more about Kenny. I thought it was really cute when they talked about his dad. That was, like, the most meaningful part of the entire season. And I could not handle when he turned around and was, like, kind of grabbing.
Courtney
Whitney put his hand on her knee. Well, because she kept rubbing his back.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
It's awkward because she's in the stadium seating, so she has to, like, lean over to really rub the.
Courtney
She's like, oh, shit. I really got to commit because I'm a little too far. A little too far. Just the stadium seating is a conducive for that.
Mary
Sure, sure. Do you think they will be engaged in 2026?
Courtney
Maybe at Friendsgiving? It's his favorite holiday.
Mary
Oh.
Courtney
So do you think we could see
Mary
this on camera if there's a season two?
Courtney
Yeah, I do think it would happen on the show.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Wow.
Mary
I didn't even think that far. I do think they're going to get engaged in 2026. They seemed really strong. They seemed good. What did you think?
Courtney
I never thought that they weren't good on this show. I liked what he said when he was like, I came into this group and I was basically made the villain immediately.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
I didn't even want to, like, hang with this group.
Courtney
It wasn't fun.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
And I do think that Lindsay was
Courtney
on Whitney's side because, God, she just comes so hard. It's hard to side with her where
Podcast Guest/Co-host
it's like, I was being a girl's girl.
Courtney
It's like, yeah, let me tell you. I don't think that that's the route to go. Go with a disappointed route, not the anger route. Nobody wants to be feeling like they've disappointed someone.
Mary
Even Andy steps in and was like, so I understand you're saying you're a girl's girl, but, like, that didn't land with Whitney over here.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
Gaslighter, Misogynistic, narcissistic. Like, like, what the hell is happening? Lindsay?
Mary
It was way, way, way too.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
When I can finish, let me know. When I can finish, let me know.
Courtney
She did a lot of line repeating because she wasn't sure if it landed. Oh, she said that twice. She also said, like, something about, yeah, little baby Minion Martin. She said that twice. Like, she really wanted to make sure that her, like, sound bites were going to land.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
And you guys.
Courtney
And I love Lindsay. I feel like I've loved Lindsay for years. So I'm just being slightly critical. I don't want her mad at me and yelling at me on threads. I'm scared.
Mary
It is scary. It is scary.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
I still love you. Please take this. Just like, oh, God. Delete.
Wayfair Advertiser
Delete.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
It's gonna be okay.
Mary
It's gonna be okay. It's gonna be okay. Guys.
Courtney
Don't tell her I said any of this.
Mary
Well, let's talk a little bit more about Whitney's apology to Lindsay for the single mom. Still feel like she doubled down? I think she kind of did. She means what she said.
Alltrails Advertiser
She does.
Courtney
Yeah, 100%. But, like, Lindsay is a little scary. Whitney went about this wrong.
Mary
In what way?
Podcast Guest/Co-host
Well, I just feel like she needed
Courtney
to come back and be like, look, I really am sorry. In the moment, I just felt that way. I don't feel that way. I don't want you to think that I'm upset.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
She maybe just needs to be, like,
Courtney
more tail between the legs as opposed to kind of battling with it. Like, I think I probably. You know what? If it was me, though, I'd be like, for six months, you. You let my comment about someone you don't like affect you for six months. That's crazy. I'm really sad for you that that's where it went. I'm sorry I said it. But also, six months.
Mary
I think Whitney also spoke a little bit too long. It's like she needed to be more direct. And then she was like, I misspoke. And then she was doubling down. Was like, you felt more deserving of the room, and there's a sense of entitlement with you, and I Wish Whitney would have been like, in that moment, you actually used the mom card to get the room. And then I also think she should have broken the fourth wall here. Whitney, in some way and said, you think this is your show and we have to bow down to you, and that's not the case. And she just kind of kept saying, sorry, sorry, sorry, but. And it did land.
Courtney
Also, Whitney, you said the same thing, like, five different times about, like, the nanny. So, like, how many times did you misspeak? You can only, like, misspeak if you said it once. Like, oh, I misspoke about that.
Mary
Even Kenny had some rehearsed lines as well.
Courtney
The.
Mary
You collect apologies like you collect souls. I was like, what?
Courtney
She's a dementor.
Mary
Yeah, like, we don't know what that
Podcast Guest/Co-host
is because you've never read the books.
Mary
The Harry Potter. Yeah, yeah, I've read one.
Courtney
Wait, you read all of them?
Mary
No, I said one. I said one. Oh, I probably didn't finish it, but DNF'd.
Courtney
Kenny and Gavin are kind of going at it, and Gavin says, like, watch what you say, Kenny.
Mary
I'm like, oh.
Courtney
I'm like, gavin, you've been talking all season long, and now Kenny needs to watch what he says after you've been
Podcast Guest/Co-host
saying how boring their relationship is. And what you're really saying is you
Courtney
guys are putting a front on for.
Mary
And Whitney starts crying at one point. And wait, what about the allegation that she dated Kenny to be on the show?
Courtney
They were already dating before this. Even Amanda backs him up.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
They were dating before this show.
Courtney
I think that they actually are a very good match in the way that I feel like they're both these, like, hot influencer, douchey types. Do you know what I mean? Like, they.
Mary
They actually seem like Kenny an influencer.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
No, but I feel like he gets
Courtney
that, like, that, like, finance vibe that would be with, like, an influencer.
Mary
Actually, he's definitely not an influencer because I remember going on his Instagram and he only had like 6, 000 followers. Let's check today.
Courtney
Yeah. You don't feel influenced by him at all, do you? Don't try to sell me those slip ons.
Mary
I really like him, though.
Courtney
I know. Me too. For some reason, though. Seemed like actually a very good match. I think that they both have similar qualities.
Mary
He's at 11,000 now, guys. God, that is so low.
Courtney
I know.
Mary
And it says he's a work in progress and he has prayer hands.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
Oh, God. Not Jax Taylor. Not Ramona Singer. A work in progress.
Courtney
Oh, God, we're gonna be hurt by Kenny. I know it.
Mary
No, I know.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
I know.
Mary
He's gonna have a bad second season. I know.
Courtney
Just one season. That was tough. Okay, what do you think about Georgina? Because I felt like she was really timid in this reunion. Did you get that vibe? Yeah.
Mary
Oh, nervous?
Courtney
Yeah.
Mary
Nervous.
Courtney
She's gonna start dating. She's gonna date with intention.
Mary
I love what she said about that. And I love that she said, I was always nervous about dating because I thought that meant I was gonna get my child 50% of the time and all of that. And then she's like. And then someone told me, like, no, it's like, they get to be loved by more people. And I thought, a great way to look at it. Cute.
Courtney
What did you think about the minions comments of Yvonne and Lindsay and Georgina all chiming in together in that small little space? And Amanda said the most significant thing of the day, according to Kenny.
Mary
I mean, I do think they are Lindsay's minions, and they are scared to cross her. And I think they also are good friends with her too. But there's certain people that you're like, I don't want to be on their bad side. And like us, we don't want to be on Lindsay Hubbard's bad side. You know, so maybe we are Lindsay Hubbard's minions.
Courtney
We have opinions, but we are still minions.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
Danielle being like, it's really lonely on the other side of that.
Courtney
Wait, by the way, isn't that crazy? They're all a week apart. Due dates. Obviously, Danielle's had her baby, and then Lexi's due September 2nd, and then Yvonne is within a week of that too. They really did utilize that November 5th ovulation date.
Mary
It is truly, truly, like, wild.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
Prosciutto method works.
Mary
It will be very interesting if they decide to pick up cameras. I'm guessing they would maybe push it out to October. Give them a couple weeks. Maybe Summer house is going to go past Labor Day because it started a week late, perhaps.
Courtney
Or also, we don't need them leaving the summer house and going into the city, even though this really is the final season. Maybe we do need a drive. And it's Kyle's drive that we've got to take because it was really mostly their breakup, but we have to wrap it up with a bow fairy tale ending.
Mary
Also, I love Housewives during the holiday season. I think it's really fun. Like all those New Jersey years during the holidays. I love that. So that could be cute for in the city.
Courtney
New York in the holidays. Is so, so fun. They could take us to Christmas bars.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
They could take us to 5th Ave. They could take us to Rockefeller Center. We're going to Bryant Park. Take us. Get Dorinda to light another tree. And let's have a crossover. If Jax and Ramona could hook up, so could Kyle and Dorinda.
Mary
I also feel like there's a lot of parties during that time, and maybe they can't film in the party, but then they would drink too much and get in fights, and then we'd have to talk about it after. There feels like there's a lot of opportunities to go out during the holiday season and to get into some trouble.
Courtney
I love this.
Mary
It feels like an organic way to
Courtney
have parties, too, because we.
Mary
Maybe we kick it off. We start with friendsgiving. That's like, the first party. Okay.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
Oh, wow.
Courtney
So we're gonna give it a lot of time.
Mary
Maybe it needs some time.
Courtney
I know, but I do then think about production and their families, and I want them to spend time with their families, too. The people we don't see.
Mary
It's true.
Courtney
I do want to recognize them.
Mary
You're so sweet.
Courtney
Thank you. Thank you.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
We love you, Lindsay.
Mary
Any final thoughts, things that are on your mind about this reunion? What are you looking forward to for next week?
Courtney
Here's the thing. This could have just been an extended reunion. I don't know what else there is to talk about outside of more Kyle, Amanda West. I feel like we covered everything else. What else is there to discuss on this? Like, we're going to talk about Danielle and Yvonne and the wedding is. It feels weird to talk about them fighting when they're, like, pregnant and on this journey together, and I don't want them to, like, be going after each other here.
Mary
Yeah. I actually enjoyed this reunion more than I would have thought.
Courtney
Mary's not a reunion person, as she'll
Podcast Guest/Co-host
continue to remind us.
Courtney
And yet every reunion recently, she's been gung ho about.
Mary
I. I did enjoy it. There was something nostalgic in, like, the. In this small space and the fighting and the talking over. It felt good. In the music. In the music, really?
Courtney
Do you feel like it also kind of, like, knocked him down a peg to have to have it in the clubhouse?
Mary
Like, low production value. Like, remember where you came from? Yeah.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
We're like.
Courtney
We're actually having this because of the scandal, not because of the season.
Podcast Guest/Co-host
Right.
Courtney
We will pad the scandal talk with things that happened through the season, but the reason you guys are here is because there was a scandal.
Mary
Right. It's kind of perfect if you ask me.
Courtney
I. I mean, I'm gonna be sitting there watching it next week, obviously.
Mary
We sure are. We sure are. Anyways, okay, let's come back tomorrow.
