Welcome back to two Judgy Girls. This is Mary from the Bay and
Courtney
it's Courtney from la. Today we have quite the polished guest. Some may call her the queen of Etiquette. Some may say she has the best manners in the room. She might just be the most polite person on Bravo. She's literally taking time out of her vacation right now to talk to us. From the breakout hit Ladies of London, please welcome to two Judgy Girls, Micah Meyer. Hi Micah.
Micah Meyer
Thank you. Hello. I'm so happy to be with you on holiday. So it's totally fine. This is exciting.
Mary
It's like we're in Greece with you and are you enjoying a glass of champagne?
Micah Meyer
I have a glass of champagne. I'm currently dressed. I'm about to go to a white party and my husband's in the other room. He was like, how long do you need? I was like, I don't know. But just drink champagne. I'll be right there. Marco, come on. Come join us.
Mary
You can be the third judgy girl.
Micah Meyer
Exactly. But cheers. Happy, happy, happy Wednesday.
Mary
Oh, my God. Thank you so much for coming. For listeners who are maybe newer, can
Micah Meyer
you give us a little bit of,
Mary
like, your backstory, where you grew up,
Micah Meyer
how you got into etiquette? Yeah, of course. So I'm from Sarasota, Florida, and I did not grow up with any kind of formal etiquette at all. I just. My parents just loved good manners. That was it. It was just like, say please and thank you and be. Be kind and invite the little kids sitting by themselves to sit with you. It was like, really core manners. You know, just be nice.
Mary
I'm a former teacher, so I can respect that so much.
Micah Meyer
Yeah. And it's free. It's free to be kind. It's, you know, it's still my. Still my thing. And so I took my first etiquette course. I met my husband in New York, and he moved to London, and he was like, come, come. So I did. And I was living in London. This is back in 2008, and I got my first job in London, and I was the only American and a whole British company, and I was in charge of American clients going global for the first time. So I did the launch of the first J. Crew store in London, the first Victoria's Secret store, Like, all these big brands that were coming over, and I was in charge of the events and everything in the pr and, you know, it was. It was insecurity was the reason why I took my first etiquette course. I was like, how do they all know how to hold the champagne flute like that? And how do they know how to hold the fork and knife like that? What is going on? And so it was my boyfriend at the time, now husband, Marco, and he was like, you know what? Why don't you take an etiquette class? So. Which is not what you want your boyfriend to say. Float. You're like, great. This is going well. Really, it was fascinating. And I left that etiquette class, and I could not wait to take another one, because it wasn't just about forks and knives. It was how to enter a room, how to speak eloquently. How. I mean, it was. It was incredible. It was a confidence booster. And I ended up training under a former member of the Queen of England's household staff, the same person who trained Princess Diana. And I went to finishing school in Switzerland. And so my journey of learning was, was many, many years. And then I opened Beaumont Etiquette, which is still my company to, to this day. So it's based in New York though. So I am constantly flying. I'm a global citizen.
Courtney
I want to talk a little bit
Mary
more about Mini Manners. So we like saw the puppets on the show. I went on your YouTube, it's more like cartoon now. Is that the vibe?
Micah Meyer
Yes. It's really, really hard to make a puppet hold a fork and knife that I can tell you.
Courtney
It's the opposable thumb or lack thereof.
Micah Meyer
And we had like incredible puppeteers create these puppets and move in there. I mean it's incredible. But the challenges of making that work was really hard with the green screen and the quality was too low. So we moved into animation, which is where we are now. And you know, for. We launched the channel about, about eight months ago now. And you know, we've got, we've got hundreds of thousands of views and we're so, so excited that people are seeing the, the, you know, the really the, the beauty of Mini.
Mary
It honestly feels like it could like transform into a social emotional learning program for kids too. This is my former teacher coming out. But like it's so important now, the social emotional learning and teaching etiquette and manners and more like about having confidence in yourself and teaching how to speak to people and talk about your feelings. So I feel like you kind of maneuver that ankle.
Micah Meyer
Honestly, that is exactly what we're doing. So it's about kindness and that's. We actually. Social emotional intelligence. For anybody out there who have little ones in your lives, the, the majority of your life social and emotional intelligence is, is developed from 2 to 6 years old. The majority of your life. That's where you learn those skills. So that's exactly what Mini Manners is doing. So every single episode we choose not only good manners, but we choose to go into that direction to really kind of hone in and give them that lesson. So when you put your child in front of a YouTube, you know, you're not just watching little kids play with army figures, which is fun, but they're not learning from it. So that's our goal. That's it. That's it.
Mary
Well, I have a 9 month old so he will be watching Mini Manners in no time. I'm super excited about that. Wait a little bit more about your background.
Micah Meyer
So this week we got a little
Mary
snippet about you being in the circus. Tell me more about that.
Micah Meyer
So that came About. They were talking to me, like, how do you present? Because sometimes I'm in front of. In a room of 2, 3000 people. And so the producer said, how do you not clam up? How do you not. This was in my confessional. She was like, how do you feel confident speaking in front of 3,000 people? And I said, oh, it's from the circus. And she was like, wait, what? And this is. At the end. This is, like, my last confessional. She's like, wait, hold on. What did you just say? So I. In Sarasota, there is something called the Sarasota Sailor Circus, which is.
Mary
Say that seven times.
Micah Meyer
Right? Exactly. Exactly. And it's a children's. It's like gymnastics on steroids. So was your hot brother.
Mary
Was your hot brother in it as well?
Micah Meyer
Well, he was not. He was not. Braun. No, Braun was not. But that is hilarious.
Mary
Love that. Drop his Instagram handle for the ladies. Everyone's very interested in the fitness routine
Micah Meyer
at Roncore Fitness, and he will love it if you say you heard about him here. He will love it.
Mary
We will make sure of that.
Micah Meyer
Okay. Okay. And he's single. And he's single. Okay. That's what the women want to know.
Mary
Where does he live?
Micah Meyer
He's in Boston. Yes.
Mary
Okay.
Courtney
I'm Boston. We. We have roots from Boston, so we. I. I could be bi. Coastal. I could be bi coastal.
Micah Meyer
We're such a fun family, I swear.
Courtney
Oh, I. I'm invested.
Micah Meyer
Yeah. He's amazing. He's so sweet. But, yeah, no, so that's how it happened. So I just kind of casually mentioned. I was like. We used to perform in front of hundreds and hundreds of people, and we would put on these performances and. And so from the. I was seven. And so you're seven years old, finishing these acrobats. Acrobatics. And you get up and you're like. And you get up and Hundreds and hundreds of people. Applause. And I didn't. I never had stage fright, because I think it's because of that. And so I know all the circus jokes. I get it. But I'm so proud of it. It's so. It was. It was so important to my, you know, my, like, who I became, totally.
Mary
Wait, what are. What activities are your kids in?
Micah Meyer
Just out of curiosity. They are big tennis players. Courtney was too big skier because Marco's Swiss. So at 2. 2. You were on the skis at 2. There's no Swiss that is not on the ski. In the skis at 2. And then soccer, which they call football here. Okay. Yeah.
Courtney
What's your team out there?
Micah Meyer
I have to say, I have one. I'm still an American football girl.
Courtney
Okay.
Micah Meyer
Miss Tampa Bay Bucks. Florida Gators girl. I. I can't. I just. I haven't. I haven't crossed the line yet.
Courtney
Fair. That's okay. You know what? It's good to be agnostic sometimes. You could just have a good time without having the stress of a team, you know? So how are you approached to do Ladies of London?
Micah Meyer
This came about. I actually was asked to be cast for Real Housewives of New York when I was living in New York, and they. They called me and said, hey, Micah, what do you think about Real Housewives in New York? Like, what season?
Mary
Like, what year was that?
Courtney
Like, the reboot or the old school?
Micah Meyer
Dana Lyons was coming on.
Courtney
Okay, okay, okay.
Micah Meyer
Was that intake.
Mary
And.
Micah Meyer
And I was like, that is so. So kind of you to think of me. Thank you. But I am currently eight months pregnant and I'm moving to London. But thank you so much. That's really kind. And then fast forward two years. I got kind of another email that was very similar, and it was like, are you still in London? We have something we might think is interesting. The big thing was, can I show my work? You know, that for me, was. Was my main interest initially was, you know, can I show what I do? Can, you know, can I have a platform to. To show many manners and creating this thing that I hope is my life's work? And they. They were like, if it's, you know, if it's interesting and, you know, it's a part of who you are, then we show everything. And they. They really did. So I was really grateful that made it in.
Courtney
I love that because something that we say about these shows, too, is you see a lot of these women come on as housewives or entrepreneurs, and it's almost like they're too late for showing their. Their work. Right. Like, we'll see them develop something, but then it comes after the season is over, and the interest is when you're on screen. And so it's really cool, especially in the finale, too, to see you do your first etiquette lesson in London, like, show the world. I loved also seeing Marco be there. I was like, the way he was looking at you, I'm like, if I have a man look at me like that, like, I feel like I will be so happy. He is so proud of you. And I just thought it was very cool that we did get to see that journey from kind of not Inception, but a Lot of inception for us as fans. Right. To see it from the beginning and then to see you be able to do that at the end of the season.
Micah Meyer
Yes. And, you know, he is such a. He's my biggest cheerleader. He is really incredible. And so to have him there, too, is. You know, he's actually only taken one other etiquette course of mine where he was, like, sitting in the crowd, and the New York Post was there and called him out and was like, it was at the Plaza because I started the Plaza hotel finishing program. So he came to one of my Plaza courses, and she in the article was like, is that your husband over there? I think it is. And he was like, I'm never going again. Over his shoulder, making sure he was doing everything right.
Courtney
I love that. Except now here's 10 cameras, and it's a little bit more higher stakes, but thank you so much. On Watch what Happens Live, you were like the first lady of London to be on Watch what Happens Live, which I think is a big deal for a new show. You said that you didn't have any previous relationships with the former cast of Ladies of London. Has that changed?
Micah Meyer
No, I will. Noelle Reno. Okay.
Courtney
Oh, that's right.
Micah Meyer
Yeah. Noelle was the only one. But, no, I have not met any of them. I've not bumped into them. But, you know, I think there's something. But I think you owe something to them. They. They. It's. You know, I think I'm grateful to what they. They started the way. They paved the way, and I think you have to show respect for those people that did that. They did a great job. I think they're fantastic. I. I think they're all wonderful. I think they did an amazing job, and I think you have to respect that. They. They. We are here because of them. So I. Yeah, I would say thank you to them, but I hope I get to meet them one day, but I haven't yet.
Courtney
So you did watch the previous Ladies of London. Are you watching, like, other reality TV, too? Did you. I assume you watched old Roni as well, then, if you were approached for that.
Micah Meyer
Yes, I've seen. Yeah, I love Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Love those ladies.
Mary
Wait, are you team Kyle or team Dorit this season?
Courtney
Oh, is it polite to choose a side?
Micah Meyer
I really go back and forth. Like, I. I really. And I think they do an amazing job editing it. So you are like this. And they're like, oh, but this. Oh, and I got. You know, I obviously got to meet Bose and go with her on Watch what happens live? So I was kind of behind the scenes. I was like, tell me everything. She's so cool. She's so cool. And she was like, behind the scenes. She's like, okay, we're gonna go out. We're gonna do our thing. Like, she was like, a little. She was like, my little guy up. Yeah, she really was. I was like, bose, what is. What are we about to do? She goes, don't worry. We're just gonna go out and have fun.
Courtney
Oh, my God, I love that. Are you following the Summer house scandal by chance?
Micah Meyer
I mean, how could you not? It's made the whole. It's across the Pond international, baby. That doesn't always happen. I have to tell you, like, sometimes I have. You know, I'm always in the States for work, so I hear things and I see things. But for it to get across the pond means it's big.
Mary
The west side Story is breaking news, even in London. Wow.
Micah Meyer
Wow. I have a very, very, very big political client who I was training, and this person said, can you just brief me on this? Because I feel like pop culture has. People are asking about this. And that person, if I. You only knew, your brain would explode. And I was like, yeah, here's the deal. And I was like, I'm choosing to
Courtney
believe it's Prince William.
Micah Meyer
Imagine Harry.
Courtney
I just think, yeah, it's like Prince William and Kate, like, over dinner, they're just like, did you see what Wes did this week?
Mary
No, I think it's Megan and Harry. I think we're on to something here.
Courtney
Your lips are sealed for now.
Micah Meyer
I'm gonna go ahead and drink. This is so good.
Mary
Oh, my God.
Micah Meyer
Okay, so it's. It's everywhere, this scandal everywhere.
Mary
Talking about a scandal. I want to know a little bit more about your relationship with Dara. So you went to college with Dara, and are you her son's godmother as well?
Micah Meyer
I am.
Mary
I am so super, super tight. You go onto the show together, you think you're best friends, and tell us what happens.
Micah Meyer
Well, I think, you know, it was. I was mind blown. I really still am a little bit. We've never spoken again after June was when we filmed that. So I think. I think, you know, when she called me cringe Missy later told me she said. She called me a cringe American was what it was, I think. I'm so excited.
Mary
Wait, Dara's American, right?
Micah Meyer
Yes. Yes. Okay.
Mary
Just making sure.
Micah Meyer
Yes. That Missy said it. I was a cringe American is what she said. And I was like, I Think I'm so excited for life and I'm so excited for everything. I'm a super proud American. I do wear an American flag sweater regularly. You know, Like, I just. And I think. And I don't want to ever change. I'm not going to change. I think that's me. And, and I think that was embarrassing in some ways, but, you know, so be it if that's embarrassing to you. You know, I think the thing is, is that I would never. And people were like, well, how could you be friends with somebody like that? That's so mean to you. But I was like, but she wasn't. That was a thing.
Courtney
Personality switch or something where she saw the cameras and was like, I'm gonna make my own path. Yeah.
Micah Meyer
I'm a real big believer that everyone can be successful. All women can. We can both be, you know, why not? Why? And I don't, I don't know that that was the same thought process. And I think there was only going to be one American that came out alive. I don't know. And it was you. Well, I would curse you right now if I were standing. But, you know, so I think that was. That was really sad and heartbreaking and devastating to me. And to see it and to see the confessionals. The confessionals. And here's. I have a theory about this. Confessionals were filmed in fall. And so I was kind of like, I will never. Once I realized, I was like, I will never. This is not for me, this friendship. So that was it. And it was a goodbye moment for me. And then the confessionals. I think at that point I wasn't talking to her for months and I. That's when I think she was like, okay, I know it's important to her, her work and our friendship. So I'm gonna just go for it. I'm just gonna double down and I'm just going to say she's not successful. I'm going to say she's, you know, all the things she's doing.
Mary
Anything to hurt you purposefully.
Micah Meyer
Right, right. Because she knows how hard I'm. I work so hard. I'm, you know, a three time entrepreneur. You know, I run three businesses and it's like I do not stop. And I think knowing that that was my, my big thing, she was like, you know, and so you've never like
Mary
bumped into her, been at the same party with her, Never been in the same room since?
Micah Meyer
Thank goodness, no.
Mary
Okay. How do you think the, like, madam rumor got started?
Micah Meyer
I don't go out and like, I'm a day tripper. I'm out in the day. If you want to see Micah Meyer out on the town, it's never gonna happen. Like, I'm really not a night owl. It's going to be day events, and that's just me. And so I think from what I heard, you know, it was, it was. I was never out in the evening, so I don't know. I really don't know how that came about, but I'm not a night owl, so I, I just wasn't out during those rumors or where they came from. I couldn't say.
Courtney
Okay, it does seem like it came from Margot, who might be just a little dramatic in general, you know, I,
Micah Meyer
I, I, I don't know. I mean, you saw the shock on my face when I heard it. I was like.
Courtney
Well, you were also in defense mode of your best friend. I feel where you were. Like, we came on this show. This should be fun. We're starting off with this already. And I felt like you were doing your best to be like, guys, like, come on. Like, let's not, let's not take it there.
Micah Meyer
Well, I'm also thinking about my godson. I'm like, oh, my gosh. Like, like, I, if nothing else, I'm protective of this, this little person that I'm in charge of helping protect. And I was like, okay, this is. We're gonna squash all of these. And I was pretty protective the whole season in, with, with that in mind. And I, I still kind of am in that way. Yeah, that makes sense.
Mary
Are you guys Catholic?
Micah Meyer
Like, was it through the Catholic church or. Yeah, I'm Catholic.
Mary
Oh, me too.
Micah Meyer
I almost bought across today in Greece, actually. Yeah, I almost brought a beautiful cross today. And I was like, which of my God children? But I was like, oh, I'm still not sure if I can. I don't know. I'm still sending birthday and Christmas presents, but, you know.
Mary
Oh, my gosh. What the bigger person?
Micah Meyer
Good for you.
Courtney
Let's take a break and we'll be right back.
Mary
I'm not kidding when I say this. I could not wait to get home from vacation to sleep in my own bed. And it's entirely because of how much I love my bowl and branch sheets. They are life changing. Before, my bedding situation was fine, but you know the little things that start to add up. The sheets were pilling the corners, popping off the mattress in the middle of the night. That's the abso. Worst. Pillows going flat. And the bed somehow was getting too warm. Nothing terrible but it just like wasn't great. And then we switched to bowl and branch. You can feel the quality immediately. The sheets are unbelievably soft, very breathable. They don't trap heat, they don't slide around, and they somehow get softer with every wash. Our bed just feels more comfortable and inviting at the end of the day, like a place you actually want to crawl into to. It's one of those upgrades you don't realize you needed until you have it and then you can't imagine going back. If a friend asked you for a bedding recommendation, I couldn't tell you more great things about bowl and branch. It truly changed my sleeping Upgrade your sleep with bowl and Branch. It seemed like a daunting task to give it a little makeover until I found Wayfair, which made it so easy. We recently created such a fun vibe in our backyard. We ordered an outdoor couch. I ordered a fire pit. It is given the space of refresh it needed. I have like a second living room now with my backyard. We can hang out. It's a comfy space for Charlie to play. We sit around, have our wine on our beautiful couch. I've taken a nap out there. I added some lighting. We have a fire pit now. It's a space I want to be. Was it like at that dinner? Because obviously the cringe thing. But then to watch the process of her quitting in real life and watching her be like, this isn't for me. And I never said that. I did say this. Reflecting back and watching that, where you're like, how did we even get to this point?
Micah Meyer
Yes. Well, yes. I have two things to say about that dinner. One is I was in such shock. I actually was having trouble, like catching my breath. And I'm an asthmatic. And I was thinking to myself, I didn't bring my inhaler. I didn't bring my inhaler. And so I started panicking more and I was like trying to take deep breaths. But they're still 30 cameras, like zooming in on you, you'd feel it. And I was like. Like I was really in shock.
Mary
Getting claustrophobic. Yes.
Micah Meyer
Yeah. And I just want. The walls are caving in.
Mary
Yeah.
Micah Meyer
Yeah. Like seeing black. I don't know if this ever happened to you, but you're almost like seeing stars.
Courtney
And so panic attack like Margo had. I mean, when you said you could relate to her having a panic attack.
Micah Meyer
Yeah, yeah.
Mary
Wow.
Micah Meyer
National tv. And. And then, you know, I think the other thing was that. And I think the other thing was that, you know, I really thought after that if. If. Even if she would have said, listen, I did say those things. I am sorry, I had a day. I'm sorry, I didn't mean it then I think we could have moved past it. But in the end, and looking back, I don't think I would have gotten as close with the cast as I did if I didn't really. They were so protective of me the whole season. They were so, so kind. They were so wonderful. And I literally all today I've talked, I've spoken to every single person today, actually.
Mary
I love that.
Micah Meyer
And I just think, you know, checking in on each other and I think I came out, I lost a friend. It's a horrible experience. If it's ever happened to you before, it happens. But at the end of the day, I gained seven more incredible people in my life.
Courtney
I was want to ask about how you felt when you did enter this group and, like, what your relationships were before. But I also thought too, when we were looking at the dynamic, I was like, I think Dara was somewhat there for Micah because they were the Americans and she might have had maybe some relationships here and there because I feel like she's also has, like the royal connection with Beatrice and that whole thing with her, her son's stepmother. But then once she left, I was like, actually, I think this is better for Micah because Dara was almost a blocker for her. And we interviewed Martha at the beginning of the season and we were asking about all of you, and she said we could not say enough good things about Maika. Like, she is the absolute best. She just spoke your praises.
Micah Meyer
Yeah. You know, I think Emma and I were friends previously. Mark and I had a rager of a night. We have a mutual friend. And so before, you know, filming, so I knew Mark, but everyone else, I kind of went in, really, just new friendships. And I think we were almost cast. I think they thought Kimmy and I were really going to butt heads. I think they thought, yes, yes. Kimmy and I Both feel that way. Like, we both think. Because she was saying when they were interviewing me and saying, like, so what do you think about this Micah Meyer? She was like an etiquette lady. Oh, my gosh.
Courtney
Blah, blah, blah.
Micah Meyer
And so. But Kimmy and I, we're actually quite close. We're very close. I'm having lunch with Kimmy and Martha next week, but we really get each other. And Kimmy, recently on some podcast, she goes, micah's a dark horse. You have no idea till you go out with her. I was like, kimmy, shh.
Courtney
Don't let.
Mary
Yeah, let's don't let this secret out.
Micah Meyer
Yeah. So I think, you know, so we have a lot of fun. And I think I was really. I was really, you know, coming in, I was in shock. The first three episodes, I was in shock. And, you know, some people are like, oh, she doesn't have a backbone. And I was like, you know, I get it. I understand that. Watching it back, it kind of did feel like that looked like that a bit. But I also was still trying. I don't know. I still. I was in shock. And I was also trying to feel out this new friend group. And, you know, it's, It's. It's tough. But I, I, I always want, like, I always say, you go into it, you. You lead with kindness. I think if somebody's unkind, you be kinder. And I just, I just really. That's my core. When they go low, you go high.
Mary
Yeah.
Micah Meyer
You know, and I just, I. Every day, I was kind of like, oh, gosh. Oh, gosh.
Courtney
Is that your political client, Michelle Obama?
Mary
She does watch Bravo. She does.
Micah Meyer
I know.
Courtney
I know personally, you know, that
Mary
she keeps drinking. I'm like, how many political clients do you have? Okay, let's talk a little bit about last week. So Margo has this, like, crazy panic attack. You guys didn't see it? Were you shocked when you saw it back? Like, how serious it was? Yes.
Micah Meyer
I mean, awful. And, yeah, you kind of. I, I had goosebumps. I had goosebumps all over my body. I was like, whoa, that's intense. Yeah. I mean, I feel for. I feel for anybody going through something like, like, that's very traumatic for whatever reason.
Mary
So you just did, like, that People magazine article.
Courtney
Did you read it?
Micah Meyer
I did, yes.
Mary
Okay, so basically talking about, like, postpartum stuff, perio, menopause, all of those things. What, what are your thoughts on. On the article?
Micah Meyer
I mean, I think that a lot of women don't know they have it when they Do I have a lot of friends? I. I have a lot of friends who've experienced it and didn't. Didn't know. And I think that's the most common kind of trait is I didn't. You don't know until you come out of it or looking back. Yeah. So I think I have compassion for anybody who is going through postpartum. I think postpartum depression is tough, and I. I personally didn't struggle with it. Um, I mean, motherhood and having an infant is enough. Like, that was hard enough. I had a lot of struggles around that. Um, I had an infant who did not sleep for four months and had colic. So it's like, there are lots of things to the new mothers. I got it. I get it.
Mary
Courtney just went to the Bahamas with me and my son, and he didn't nap.
Courtney
Yelling at him. Bethany. Like, not yelling, but, like, go to sleep. Like, Charlie. It'll be fine.
Micah Meyer
Just go to slee. Yes, I saw. Oh, yes, I saw that on your Instagram. I just saw that.
Mary
We were just in Baja, Mar. Yeah.
Micah Meyer
Yeah, I saw that. Fabulous. Yeah, it was. You should go. I need that. I actually need that right now. But, yeah, I think only some. Somebody can.
Mary
Only.
Micah Meyer
Only that person knows if they went through it or not. I think that's the only thing you can say. Nobody can say you did or didn't go through it. Only that person can say if they had that struggle or not. And sometimes they don't know until afterwards. Looking back, it's tough.
Courtney
I have to say, one of the funnier moments, though, from last week, you were staying in the cottage with Margot and Lottie. And then you guys went to this tea, and watching you watch Margot take the food from the tea before tea time. And I thought you were like. I thought you were feeling ill. I was like, oh, no, is Micah okay? And you were just coughing, like, almost like, don't do that. Please stop this.
Micah Meyer
Oh, God. Well, I. You know, I have this, like, protective side of Americans. I'm always like, like. Like, you can always spot at Claridges. You can always spot the Americans because they have their pinkies out. I'm like, no, put it down. Put it down. No pinky up.
Courtney
Okay, good to know.
Micah Meyer
No, no pinky. Always pinky down. But in all fairs, every single Disney movie ever, they have their pinky out. So we did not just make that up, but it's not. So for me, my whole thing with etiquette and how I teach. I teach modern etiquette, but my whole Thing is, always. It's. It's bad etiquette to correct bad etiquette is my thing. Oh, I. I kind of like that. Okay, so I will never correct bad etiquette unless someone asks my advice or says, micah, is this correct or am I doing this wrong? Um, otherwise, I just never. I'm never going to be that per. I'm just not. I'm not that person. Because I never want to make someone insecure. I never want to. And I think etiquette already has. There's a lot of. Of misconceptions about what it is and. And that it's snobby or elitist and. Or judgmental. I know we're on Two Judgy Girls or. But I know it's just. It's like a safe space to have judgment.
Mary
You know, it's in the name.
Micah Meyer
Yes. There. But. But that's. You know, so I never want to be that person where people don't and nobody. When I come in and people know what I do for a living or they don't, and I come into a dinner party, I. I never tell them. Never. Never. I come up and they're like, oh, so what do you do? I'll say something really boring like, oh, I'm a consultant.
Courtney
Yeah.
Micah Meyer
And that's so boring. They just don't ask. Anything else you can say? I. I was.
Mary
I'm in the circus.
Micah Meyer
I. I could also say that I'm a former circus master.
Mary
I want to ask you one final thing. Thoughts on the whole Margot Mark situation? Do you think they can find any
Micah Meyer
resolutions, you know, watching the. The second to last episode where I was like, pollyanna, I was kind of like, I still see you walking arm in arm through green fields and pastures and picking daisies together. Like, I don't. At this point, I don't see that happening. I don't see that happening. That was my hope. I always want, you know, why can't
Courtney
we all get along?
Micah Meyer
But at the same time, you can't force it. And if they don't, you know, that was my hope going into that kind of guiding session with Margo. But I don't. At this point, I don't see it. I mean, you'll see in the season finale, I think you can see what happens from there, but it's one of those things where I'm always hopeful, but you can't force it. You know, Like, I was hopeful with Kimmy and Missy. I was like, ladies, you can do it. You're gonna love each other. And then they were like, no, we can't. And I was like, yes, you can. And they did. But not always. Is that that the case? Right.
Mary
The finale is epic. Micah, thank you so much for being here today. We have loved watching Ladies of London, the New Reign. The finale airs this Thursday on Bravo. So if you're not caught up, you guys can fidget. It's fantastic. Micah, have fun at the White Party. Cheers to you and have an awesome night.
Micah Meyer
Cheers.
Mary
Okay.
Micah Meyer
Thank you ladies, so much. Thank you. Thank you.
